chapter 1 revised
* Author's note: This may seem very rushed and hard to understand, and I want to apologize. When I did the first draft, it seemed like it had much more to it then what it does. I did try very hard, but the grammar was off, there were plot holes everywhere, there was an issue with telling and not describing, so on. I had a friend, TeXXy, help me finish editing. He did A LOT of work to get it to the state it's in now, and he's still working to make it better. Big thanks to him. *
Chapter 1: An Enticing Introduction
Hay, My name is Peter Pony Parker and I'm going to tell you the story of my past. Most would say that my previous adventures and actions have been generally bad. I've been stuck in another world for the past couple of years. The worst part of it is, I was separated from my Aunt May during the transfer of worlds. She is the only family member I have left. Both of my parents passed away when I was just a small foal. Or, well, a 'colt', by Equestria's standards. Ever since then, I lived with my Aunt and Uncle(in bel-air! Heh heh heh, now back to the story). We took care of each other, and were generally happy. One day, though, I went on a class field trip. It was all fun and games – that is, until I was bitten by a genetically modified spider. That's when I gained my spider-like super powers.
Unfortunately, when I first got my powers, I used them for only for my own financial gain. This only concluded in the death of my Uncle Ben. Ever since that day, I have learned that with this great power, comes great responsibility. I try and do what is right, in honor of my Uncle Ben. I defended the weak and upheld the law, but that all changed recently. A unicorn by the name of Twilight Sparkle summoned me here to help protect the town from a killer dragon. Oh, and to make things worse... I'm a celestia damned pony now. That took some getting used to.
It's been many years since I saw Time Square back at home, but I don't really care anymore. Fortunately, Twilight Sparkle managed to bring my Aunt May to Equestria! I explained to her right away what happened, because I knew she was confused. She barely looked happy to see me, she just had this blank, confused stare on her face. Once I finished my explanation, with backup from Twilight Sparkle, she began to regain composure. Aunt May suddenly burst out in slight anger. She began yelling things, such as “I knew your powers were going to cause trouble!” or “Look what you've gotten yourself into!”. I did all that I could to reassure her, and finally, it worked. Slowly, My aunt and I adjusted to our new life. I think the hardest part was trying to find my special talent – being a full grown stallion without a Cutie Mark was pretty embarrassing. I eventually acquired my mark, and I must say... I'm proud of it. With a spider as my cutie mark, I had to tell aunt may that I was an Arachnologist. She laughed and explained that it was a little obvious, after all of those years as spider stallion.
After about a year, Rarity and I started dating. I know, it's a pretty weird pairing. Who would have guessed that the weirdo super-hero pony colt would pair up with the most frilly and complicated lady in all of Ponyville? After about a week of persuasion I finally let her redesign my costume. I found that it ended up looking almost exactly the same. She knew how I liked my costume, so I assume she wanted to keep it how I liked it. Now Rarity and I are engaged! The wedding is planned, and it's less then three months away! I can't belie-
Peter's writing was interrupted by a light knock on the door. “Come in!” Peter yells. Rarity enters. “Hay, I'--” She stops and frowns. “Darling, Are you going to write in that dusty old journal all day?” Peter turns around. “I wasn't planning on it... So, angel what exactly are we doing today?” She looks at me, frowning. “You forgot, already? What am I going to do with you?” she says, jokingly. Peter trots over to Rarity, and places his hoof around her neck in a hug. He leans in, with his head next to hers. He can smell her luscious hair. It smells like roses. “Hmm... What can you do with me? Well, you can love me...” Peter replies, with a smug look on his face. Rarity smiles up at Peter. “Well, Dear, I already do that as it is. Come on, we have to get to your tuxedo fitting.” Peter kisses Rarity on the forehead, and they trot out the door together. They're on their way to Rarity's favorite taylor in all of Equestria.
I'm also glad I don't need magic lessons anymore I mean Twilight is a great student and everything but a teacher she is not. After a wile of thinking to himself his surrounding start to change he starts looking around slowly remember this desolate place he turns around. “Madam Web I thought you forgot about me.” She starts speaking. “O I could never forget of you I am allowing you to remain in Equestria but there is something you should know you being there has tilted the scales of good and evil and for the universe to remain I must balance the scales.” suddenly he is back swinging on his web heading head first into the castle wall. With is super spider agility he flips through the air gracefully landing inches away from Celesta's head. She looks up at him. “Is there something I can help you with spider-mane.” I look down at her. No just thought I would drop by for a visit but I must be going I look down at my watch and notice my appointment at Fancypants Taylors is in five minuets with that I somersault off the castle and swing to meet my talyor. With just minutes to spare I enter the shop using my magic to turn the door knob only to have Fancypants himself in the shop. I walk up to the desk and tell them my name only to my surprise Fancypants walks up and says. “Hello, I am Fancypants so you must be Peter Parker I've been hearing a lot about you from my apprentice . Shale we begin.” I give a swift nod and I'm pulled to a stand with mirrors almost completely surrounding it.
There's a knock on the library door Twilight swiftly answers it only to find Rarity. She lets out a disappointed sigh for she expected to find her brother not Rarity. “O hi Rarity please come in.”says Twilight. Rarity crosses the room and sits on the couch immediately followed by Twilight. Rarity is the first to speak. “Twilight there is something I was wanting to discuss with you.” Twilight gives her an inquisitive look.” What is it Rarity. “She said.” Well it's about Peter. “Twilight goes on high alert.” Did something happen to Peter?! Rarity immediately assures her that peter is fine. “No, it's just today I was working in the boutique and I realized that Peter has almost know friends that are colts I mean he knows The Doctor your Brother and Big Macintosh but that is about it o and Spike ,but is he close to any of them.” the two mares sat there pondering this staring blankly at each other. Then Twilight broke the silence. “Rarity I'm sure he has picked some one to be his best colt and you just didn't here him when he told you.” Rarity gives a sheepish smile and says “I'm sure your right Twilight.” and upon completing her sentence the departs from the library.
