> Tales of Love Three > by Mister Phoenix > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > How To Train Your Villain; Part One (Starlight Glimmer x Spike) > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Twilight Sparkle kept walking back and forward, the purple alicorn’s purple coloured eyes moved around her new castle, trying to find anything that would answer her questions. She looked at a sleeping Spike, the young purple and green dragon was napping on his small throne that was right next to Twilight and Rainbow's throne. Twilight gave off a soft smile, knowing that she accidentally woke up him up far too early with her pacing and rambling to herself. Twilight lifted a small blanket and pillow for the slumbering dragon, Spike gave off a smile in his sleep, hugging his pillow close, with the purple alicorn giving the young dragon a kiss on the forehead. The large double doors of Twilight's new castle that Pinkie decide to call "The Castle of Friendship." Rainbow Dash flew in, landing in front of Twilight flipping her rainbow coloured mane out of her eyes. "The champ is here," Rainbow Dash boasted, puffing out her chest, hoping for a reaction. "The champ is here!" Rainbow Dash said, repeating herself causing an eye roll from Applejack who just entered with the hothead cyan pegasus. "Yes, Rainbow I heard you. 'The champ is here.'" Twilight said, her eyes were deadpanned. "It's call the repeat, ladies. Get use to it, if any villain decides to show their face around these parts, they'll have to deal with the Great and Awesome Rainbow Dash!" "And her massive ego too." Rarity said, walking past the boasting pegasus causing the six friends, even Rainbow let out a laugh. Pinkie bounced into the Castle of Friendship, giving Twilight a smile. Twilight pushed Pinkie Pie away with her purple right front hoof, the pink party pony began to start rambling about completely random topics. Twilight Sparkle saw her five friends had all arrived much to a current cyan pegasus complaining. "Now, you girls should know why I ask you all to come here." Twilight said, Rainbow stood behind the purple alicorn, mocking her, flapping her lips while Twilight were rambling on about the mysterious castle. Twilight stopped the cyan pegasus with her purple coloured magic. "Look Twi' not everything happens for a reason. A box turning into a castle, sure it's an eyebrow raiser, but sometimes it just nothing" Applejack said, Twilight looked around. "But, this was made out of our Friendship, I know this castle is important just because of that. It shows how much we been through and how much we all have grown as friends." Twilight said, rubbing her chin with her right front hoof. "This castle is simply fantastic!" Rarity spoke, looking in the the walls fixing up her purple mane with her snow white hoof. "I agree with with Twilight, and Rarity, and Rainbow, and Applejack, and Pinkie..." Fluttershy stated "I like cupcakes!" Pinkie said, smiling at Fluttershy "Still agree with Pinkie, oh and Spike too." The cream coated pegasus spoke in her soft voice, listening to Spike's snoring that echo through the castle. Fluttershy let out a quiet whisper, sitting down on her throne, which was followed by the rest of mares behinds Twilight who was still scratching her brain that the castle many possibilities. The purple alicorn let out a sigh, sitting down on her rightful throne.  A loud rumble shook the room that the six friends sat in, the floor seemed to open up and a crystal table rises from the ground, Twilight reached out her hoof, lightly touching it. The crystal table glowed bright light, causing Spike to wake up, and turning into a map of Equestria. "Huh, that's new." Spike said, letting a yawn escape from his mouth. The girls looked at the map, that Pinkie Pie called "The Cutie Map" since once it was active their Cutie Marks shined flying towards a small village. Spike was walking on the Map, crushing Pinkie's rock farm underneath his foot, causing Pinkie's smile to drop. Her blue eyes widen in sadness at the site, Twilight lifted Spike off the Map and back to his throne, rubbing her chin looking over to the place where she and her friends Cutie Marks were shining and hovering around. "The Map must be asking us to go here." Twilight stated, her hoof pointed towards where the six Cutie Marks were surrounding. "It may have the answer we need or somepony might be in trouble!" Twilight added. "Well, I'm in. There's going to be danger and adventure." Rainbow Dash spoke "Count me in too, I wouldn't be a good friend if I left ya alone with Dash for too long." Applejack said, Rainbow stuck her tongue out towards the apple farmer. "I'm in, it will be like a long party!" Pinkie stated "Oh, why not. It will be fun, I do hope that I have everything I would need for the trip." Rarity said, the five mares turn towards Fluttershy. "Oh, umm... Well I might just stay here with Spike." Fluttershy said, giving off a nervous smile "Are you kidding Flutters? I'm going with, I always wanted to see more of Equestria and it's about time I get to go on an adventure with you girls." Spike said, giving a thumbs up. "I'll come." Fluttershy said, the cream coated pegasus hanged her head in defeat. Rainbow bought Fluttershy close to her by wrapping her blue wing around the shy cream coloured pegasus mare. Fluttershy gave off a soft smile, Twilight pulled Spike near her, the alicorn was trying her best to talk Spike out of coming with them, not wanting to see him get hurt or worst. Spike wave his claw, rolling his green eyes. Twilight bought the purple and green dragon into a tight hug, not wanting to let go of him. Spike forced his way out of Twilight's tight grip on him. "Just promise you’ll stay safe." Twilight spoke, her voice was showing how worried she was over the young dragon. "Yeah, yeah. Don't worry, I'm not a baby anymore Twi' I can look after myself." Spike said, leaving Twilight alone. "That's what worries me." Steam blew out of the train, coming to the end of the tracks. The main six with Spike riding on Twilight's back, the girls looked at the small village out in the middle of nowhere. The ponies and dragon looked at the ponies of the small village, they all had uncomfortable looking smiles on their faces with their Cutie Marks all being black equals marks. The girls all had these worried expressions on their faces, soon entering the town. The stallions and mares happily greeted the new ponies that had enter their village, their ruler of sorts stepped out of the shadows, the sun shined on her mane; moderate purple with lighter purple and pale, with grayish aquamarine highlights. Her coat was pale, light grayish heliotrope, her eye colour is moderate persain blue. Her Cutie Mark was the same equal mark like everypony else. Spike looked at the mare, he could feel himself magically getting lifted off the ground, pink hearts floating out of his purple scaly head. The unicorn mare was elegant, magnificent, and just drop-dead gorgeous. Her moderate persian blue eyes looked over at the six ponies, she was most interested with the alicorn, her mind going towards ways to get this pony princess to give up her Cutie Mark and join the ranks of peace where everypony is the same and no pony is different. She grew a terrible grin, her eyes locked with the young dragon riding on the alicorn princess back. The unicorn mare shook her head sideways, turning her evil smirk into a kind and welcoming one. "Welcome to our village. I'm Starlight Glimmer, it’s so great to see new ponies coming to visit us, with one being a princess of Equestria and has a powerful dragon with them." Starlight spoke, batting her eyes at Spike, "I welcome everypony and everyone to our village!" She finished, welcoming everypony with open hooves. The six girls and male dragon watched while the village sang their welcoming song, Fluttershy was the only one who was enjoying the musical number while the rest of the main six felt like they couldn't trust this 'Starlight Glimmer', she felt a bit off. Twilight and her friends just couldn't put their hoof on it, she just seems like she was up to something, everything Starlight Glimmer did felt sinister. Spike didn't mind much, his mind was telling him that this Starlight Glimmer was beautiful. His heart was playing tricks on him, even if Starlight Glimmer sent a chill up his spine. The cold wind blew through the manes of the ponies, the musical number was over, Spike thought that Starlight's singing voice sounded something like from an Angel. Starlight Glimmer smiled at the girls, giving the purple dragon a flirt like wink his way. "What happen to all these ponies Cutie Marks?" Twilight asked, Starlight let out a laugh. "The Cutie Marks wasn't stolen, their were given willing. Everypony here wanted to start a new life to build and be equals, how can you live in a world where you know ponies are better than you are. Wonderbolts are the fastest and best flyers in Equestria putting shame on any pegasus pony who thinks that they good enough to join their ranks." "Or how some unicorns can tame a wild Manticore without even trying while other can't even lift up anything. What do those unicorn get? Nothing, only the special ones get any attention, only the gifted ones get to go to a magic school where they’re magic can become even stronger than before." "While earth ponies stay on the ground, watching pegasus and unicorns around them! A unicorn is able to do twice the work that one earth pony is able to do. While a pegasus is much faster and lighter, plowing fields in ten seconds flat, isn't that what pegasus boast about? but in our town. Everypony is the same, no one feels like an outcast or is different that makes others feel like they don't belong." Starlight explained, her smirk gave off a different message with other wicked thoughts. "Can you show us?" Twilight asked, Starlight smirk stayed turning more wicked by Twilight Sparkle's question "Why of course. Anything for a friend and a handsome dragon." Starlight said, Spike cheeks heated up with a blush, Twilight hoof stood in Spike path so, he wouldn't run over to the 'might be evil' Starlight Glimmer. It was only a hour, but it felt like more when the six ponies got their Cutie Marks stolen by what looked like a normal stick that would fall off a tree. Locked away in some room, Starlight Glimmer held Spike with her hoof, tempting him with a kiss on the cheek that made him felt like he was melting. The young dragon floated after the mare that Spike thought he loved, Starlight tickled underneath his chin. "What is a big strong dragon like you doing with ponies?" Starlight Glimmer asked, Spike blushed while rubbing his arm. "Oh, I'm not that special. You're the beautiful and graceful one that makes my heart sing." Spike said, Starlight put her hoof on her chest, flattered. "Oh, you're so, sweet. I love that in a man, I would like to date, along with honest and kindness." Starlight Glimmer spoke, leaning close to the young dragon where their lips was only a few inches apart. Spike turn his lips to try and kiss Starlight Glimmer who pulled away before Spike could kiss the unicorn, the young purple and green coloured dragon head fell to the table, kissing the cold metal feeling it pressed against his lips. Starlight held her tongue not wanting to laugh at the dragon's misfortune. "Why don't you talk to Twilight and tell her all about how great it is to be the same." Starlight spoke, "I'm sure she'll listen to you." "Why are you so calm with me, I'm a dragon. I can't get anymore different from you. Why are you being nice to me?" Spike asked, Starlight let out a giggle. "To show, that ponies, dragons, zebra's, Griffon's and all other creatures of Equestria can live in peace and be equal with you by my side. We'll be the start of a new era of peace that Equestria has never seen before, but only if you help little old me, I like you Spike, maybe even love you...." "But we are unable to be together if you don't help me bring peace to everyone." Starlight Glimmer said, pouting her lips. Spike was scratching the back of his neck. "I'm not sure..." Spike started, Starlight Glimmer rolled her eyes ignored that this dragon is giving her hard time. Starlight Glimmer decided to shut Spike up, pressing her lips against his. Starlight Glimmer felt his uncomfortable scaly lips against her soft lips. The unicorn rather not kiss the young dragon, but Spike left her no other choice. He was planning on saying no and if Starlight wanted Princess Twilight Sparkle to willing join the village, Starlight need that purple alicorn's stupid pet dragon on her side. Starlight Glimmer broke the kiss they shared with Spike, giving off a fake smile. Spike was trapped in daydream land, only paying attention to the important moments. Not caring that Starlight Glimmer was rubbing her lips clean with her hoof not wanting to taste Spike for any longer than she needed. Just a few more minutes then she can throw him away just like the rubbish he is. "Anything you for my Queen." Spike said, Starlight Glimmer smiled. Queen? Oh, I like that." Starlight grin, it was wicked, demonic and devilish. Starlight Glimmer had no idea what happen. First Starlight thought that she had won, winning Spike over to her side instead to see him helping out Twilight Sparkle and her meddling friends. Now the unicorn secrets were in the spotlight, showing that she faked her Cutie Mark and forced her ways on ponies wanting a new life. She was getting chased, with the main six Cutie Marks in six jars that she held with her magic aura that was a light turquoise colour. Starlight Glimmer was stopped by Night Gilder, Double Diamond, Sugar Belle, and Party Favor surrounded the villain, Starlight stomped her hoof against the ground, seeing the main six with Spike riding on Twilight's back. "This is how you treat me! I brought you peace, all I wanted to do is make everypony the same and create a real friendship between ponies and all other creatures. If that's evil, then call me a villain!" Starlight Glimmer yelled out, anger flared up in her voice. The ponies didn't answer the unicorn, Starlight had no way out. It was either to face her crimes or go inside the cave behind her that might not even have an exit. Starlight Glimmer's eyes caught Spike, the young dragon was pushing his way through the crowd. Starlight blasted the boulders above her, the purple and green scale dragon followed Starlight Glimmer into the tunnels. The boulders fell blocking the entrance, causing the unicorn villain and the dragon of Ponyville to be seal within. Twilight ran towards the large boulders, tears filling up her eyes. "Where does this cave go?" Twilight asked, well more like demanded, her voice raising in volume. "Everywhere in Equestria, or nowhere. No pony knows." Night Glider answered. Twilight Sparkle began crying, with her hooves trying to move the large boulders forgetting that she had magic. Fluttershy bought Twilight into a hug before the young alicorn could harm herself. Twilight began crying on Fluttershy's shoulder, the kind pegasus mare just comb her alicorn friend back. "It's my fault, I shouldn't have let him come. My little brother gone, with the pony with a wicked heart. He's gone and I may never see him again." Twilight said, tears running down her face. > How To Train Your Villain; Part Two (Starlight Glimmer x Spike) > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Spike tried to look around, it was unless. The Cave Tunnels was far too dark, the purple and green dragon couldn't even see what was in front of him. Spike just guess that there wasn't much to look at to begin with, his body began to shiver from the cold air that blew through the tunnels. A bright light shined, causing the male dragon to cover his eyes with his right claw, his vision was blurry because of the sudden light, his green eyes soon began to adjust. His mood shifted, seeing Starlight Glimmer lying down on the cavern floor. "Right, I forgot about you and here I was a little bit happy. Oh well." Spike said, Starlight Glimmer rolled her eyes. "Please, you wasn't in love with me. We both knew that you just saw I was just another pretty mare, I'm sure that you would've replace me in less than ten seconds if you didn't follow me!" Starlight stated, Spike crossed his arms. Ignoring Starlight Glimmer's words, the young dragon began to leave the wicked unicorn behind. Starlight looked at Spike in pure surprise. "Where are you going? You need me to help you get out of this cave!" Starlight shouted, her voice echo off the cavern walls. "Please, the day I need..." Spike snapped at Starlight, his green eyes caught sight of her injured left back leg. "Your hurt!" Forgetting about his newfound hatred for Starlight Glimmer, the unicorn looked at Spike with a raised eyebrow. Somewhat confused why he was now deciding that he wanted to help her out. Spike was looking over Starlight's leg, the good news was that it wasn't that bad, no blood needing to be cleaned up. Bad news is that Starlight couldn't move on her own unless she wanted to make her leg hurt worse than before. "First you love me, then you hate me, then now your helping me. This is why my way is best for everyone, there's no love or hate or changing your mind..." Starlight began, Spike deadpanned at her. "Can you shut up for about five minutes. That will make my day, I thought that you would be less whining when someone is helping you." Spike said, Starlight pouted her lips looking away from Spike, refusing to answer. Spike released the large boulders that trapped Starlight's leg. The unicorn villain let out a yell in pain, she glared at the green and purple dragon, thinking that he did that on purpose. Starlight Glimmer ignored anything that Spike said to her, screaming out once she put pressure on her injured leg. "That what I was trying to say. You're not going to make it far with that leg!" Spike said, Starlight sat on the ground, her legs folded with a grouchy expression frozen on her face. "It should might be better tomorrow, it will still string and hurt if too much pressure is place on it. Other than that you should be fine." Spike smiled at Starlight who was only half listening to the young dragon words. Starlight focused her magic, surround herself to fly off the ground. Spike was lost for words, Starlight Glimmer kept her two front hooves behind her head, the bright glow from before somewhat dimmer. Spike just shrugged he looked back at the blocked off entrance, knowing that Twilight and the rest of his friends were on the other side hoping that he was safe, the young dragon began following by Starlight's side much to her rather loud complaining. It echoed through the cave, Spike shook his head. The young dragon lowered his head, knowing that he would have to put up with her for a while. Spike had no idea how long he has been walking, minutes, hours. He knew that his feet began to hurt and the silence between the purple and green scale dragon and unicorn villain wasn't helping. The further the two journey into the cave the more it seemed to change, having ice growing out of the walls. Or having mold growing on the cave walls, dripping water hitting Starlight Glimmer's mane much to her annoyance. There was still no sign of any way out, Spike looked at Starlight he disliked himself knowing he still has feeling towards the unicorn. "So, umm... How are you?" Spike asked, trying to break the awkward silence between the two, mentally flinching wondering why he asked such a dumb question "Me? I'm great, I just lost everything I worked on, most likely became 'Equestria's Most Wanted' because I stole Princess Twilight's stupid pet Dragon, who was in love with me, but then process to back stab me! Great, I'm just great." Starlight said, her voice was dripping with sarcasm. "What about you?" Starlight asked, not caring how the young dragon would answer. Spike scratched the back of his head, letting out a nervous chuckle. "Yeah, umm... I'm good too. Thanks for asking and I'm not her pet, I'm her little brother." Spike said, causing Starlight Glimmer to let out a laugh "You are so, cute. Thinking that Twilight really cares for you." Starlight stated, Spike ignored her comment. The dragon and unicorn villain stayed quiet, Spike using his claws scratching against the walls to mark that he had already been there. Starlight let out a loud yawn, Spike caught the unicorn before she fell after letting go of her magic. Starlight Glimmer just looked at the caring dragon, she had no idea why he was still was with her. The unicorn faced against the wall, Spike using dragon fire that could light anything up in a bright flame, he lit up a few small rocks to keep himself warm from the chilling air blowing through the cave. He looked over to a shivering Starlight Glimmer. He moved the fire closer to the unicorn villain. Starlight open her left eye, seeing what Spike did for her, giving off a soft smile the unicorn drifted to sleep, with a warm fire by her side. The two didn't know if it was morning or not when Starlight Glimmer woke up, kicking the purple and green dragon awake with her. The walking was much slower than yesterday, with Starlight walking, flinching in pain whenever she put too much pressure on her hurt leg. Spike had a concerned expression for the villainous unicorn,  thinking of the best way to start a conversion between them. "Sometimes, I wish I wasn't a dragon." Spike said, Starlight looked at him. "Ponies fear me for almost no reason. They treat me like I'm a house made out of glass, one wrong move and I'll turn into a evil monster and destroy Equestria." Spike said. "Being a pony isn't a picnic either, one bad thing happens to you, then another and then another and then you're ruling over a town taking ponies cutie marks." Starlight Glimmer spoke, Spike let out a chuckle. "Well, if it makes you feel better. If I was a pony, I would love to be a unicorn, just able to do magic will feel greet. I'll just teleport everywhere, even if it not that far away. Heck I might even teleport to the same location." Spike said, causing Starlight to let out a laugh. "I did the same thing once I learnt how to teleport. In my hometown, they called me 'The Pink Teleporting Thief.'" Starlight said, Spike and Starlight both laughed. "Thanks for last night." Starlight spoke, her dark purple coloured eyes looked away from the dragon. "It was nothing. You were cold, I wanted to help even if you are a villain, everypony deserves a bit of kindness." Spike said, Starlight smiled. "I guess, I forgot that." Starlight spoke "How did your village got made? It must have been difficult." Spike asked "Not by much. Finding ponies that feel left out, that feel like the world no longer cares about them was easy. Getting them to willing give up their cutie marks was the next step, storing the cutie marks was the difficult task. I was just lucky meeting this strange gray earth pony mare that was studying the rocks around the edge of my village." "My downfall was my greed. I just wanted too much far too soon." Starlight finished "Oh, you have no idea about greed. The ponies in Ponyville still fear me because of my accident, I got too greedy on my first birthday in Ponyville. Turning into a giant adult dragon in less than twenty minutes, destroying Ponyville in my anger." Spike said. "Then why did you side with them to bring me down? I would have made those ponies apologize to you, bring them real friendship." Starlight Glimmer said, Spike shook his head sideways. "I wanted them to trust me again. To see the real dragon I am, to show them I'm not a monster that they began to fear. With kindness and generosity, show them I wouldn't become like that ever again." Spike said "I guess we are different. It feels weird, I'm starting to like you but we’re far too different to be friends." Starlight said, Spike smiled. "Good, if we were the same. Then it'll be like being friends with yourself." Spike said, Starlight looked away in thought. "I guess it would." Starlight muttered under her breath. When Starlight Glimmer and Spike woke up, they still haven't found a way out of cave. It feels like they have been walking all around Equestria at this point. The villainous unicorn and the purple and green scale dragon have been getting closer to each other. Soon growing a small friendship between them, Spike didn't want to say anything, but he still found Starlight beautiful. It was hard to say why, when he first meet her it was just looks, but now Spike getting to know the unicorn. He even told Starlight Glimmer that he didn't think of her as a villain. The young dragon never did, what she did was wrong, but she thought that she was right. Spike didn't know what to think of Starlight Glimmer, it was hard to say. "Hey Star." Spike said, Starlight looked at the green and purple dragon "Sorry, Starlight. Umm... How did... Well the right question would be, what lead you up to becoming a pony who views the world like you do?" Spike asked, Starlight Glimmer let out a sigh. "I'll tell you, but you have tell me about your backstory. Why are you and Twilight siblings?" Starlight asked "Fair enough. She hatched me for the exam to into Celestia's School For Gifted Unicorn, she was too young to look after me so, her mother took me in. Once I got older enough I moved back to Twilight and help her with her studies, but once she and I moved to Ponyville it felt like she forgot about me. Leaving me alone at The Grand Galloping Gala, changing the date for her birthday and moving it to Canterlot." Spike said, Starlight stopped to bring the dragon into a warm hug. "Your turn." "I know. It started with Cutie Marks, they ruin my life friendship is magic that is just a bunch of lies tied together by some rope. When your so call 'friend' gets his cutie mark, he'll forget you, throw you away. Destroy the friendship that we made together, just to learn magic!" Starlight stomped her hoof in anger causing some rocks to fall from the walls. "His name is Sunburst, my best and only friend. Other ponies called me useless, since I was unable to use magic at my age. I was late bloomer, but Sunburst didn't care he wanted to get to know me and be my friend." "I was happy. For once, I had a real friend to call my own, I was a little jealous when I saw Sunburst talking to other ponies. I would normally yell out at any filly or colt that would try and talk to Sunburst. I thought that they were trying to steal my friend away from me, calling me a freak under their breaths." "It wasn't until Sunburst got his cutie mark. He was so happy, even agreeing to leave for Canterlot, wanting to become even better at magic. Leaving me alone without any friends, he didn't even look at me, he didn't even say goodbye, he didn't even write any LETTERS!" "He just left thinking he was better than me, because he got a cutie mark! Ever since then I knew that no pony truly cares about you, they lie and say they your friends and then they leave you once something new and better come their way!" "That's why I'm here. Lost and scared of making and losing any potential future friends." "After Sunburst, I never had any real friends." Starlight spoke, her head lower to face the ground. "Well, that's not true anymore. Now you have me, plus dragons can't get cutie marks meaning I can't leave you if I get one." Spike said, Starlight Glimmer smiled at Spike. "Thank you, Spike... I'll be glad to be your friend." Starlight gave the purple and green scale dragon small smirk. Wind howled through the caves much louder than before, meaning that Starlight and Spike was at least getting close to an exit of some kind, the crystals within the cave walls the deeper Starlight and Spike went in, the more Starlight Glimmer's magic got out of control. Accidentally zapping Spike, who cried out in pain. Starlight gave off a nervous smile towards the dragon. Beside sitting by the fire in silence like the unicorn and dragon would normally do before they fell asleep, Starlight Glimmer bought Spike close to her. Starlight's head was lying on Spike's chest, calming that he was far too comfortable and the unicorn refused to move from the spot. Even wrapping her hooves around in for a hug, cuddling closer to the dragon, Spike couldn't help, but start burning bright red from the blush forming on his cheeks. Having the unicorn who first he liked, then she kissed him, then he betrayed her.... Spike just figured out it has been a crazy couple of days, or week. He had no idea, how many days have past by while he and Starlight was wandering the cave in search of an exit. Spike wrapped his arm around Starlight Glimmer bring her even closer to him. Starlight then kissed Spike on the cheek before she fell asleep on his chest. Spike didn't go sleep straight away, he moved his free hand his cheek. Touching the spot where Starlight had kissed him, the purple and green dragon gave off a light smile, looking down at the unicorn. Spike kissed Starlight Glimmer's forehead, causing the unicorn to smile in her sleep. Starlight Glimmer didn't hide her growing feeling towards Spike well. She didn't know what made her change her mind, first thinking Spike was just ignoring pest that would go away. Now, seeing his kindness to her, after everything Starlight Glimmer did toward Spike. "I still love you." Spike spoke up, causing Starlight to break out of her thoughts. "Why? After everything I did how can you still love me?" Starlight asked, Spike shrugged. "I have no idea. I thought you might just be another mean pony, but after getting to know you and learning about what you have been through I still love you. I can't explain why, I know I just do." Spike said, Starlight smiled. "If I wasn't a villain, we could be together." Starlight said, stopping a light shined with a large crack between the cave wall. Spike and Starlight exited the cave, finally seeing the bright sun, shining in the sky and the fresh air blowing through Starlight's mane. Spike grabbed onto Starlight hoof, causing the unicorn to look back at the purple and green scale dragon. "You do have a choice to change your ways. I'll be next to you with every step, and we can give this crazy relationship between us a try." Spike said, Starlight gave off a soft smile. "Beside you, I have no friends. I don't even know how to make any friends!" Starlight stated, Spike gave his sort of marefriend a smile. "Don't worry about that. I know the best teacher who can help you with your problem." Spike stated, Starlight looked away knowing who the dragon was talking about. Within Ponyville, The Castle of Friendship; Twilight was walking back and forward knowing if she stopped moving that she would fall asleep. She had several books open at once, her eyes searching for the cave that Starlight and Spike went into. Her friends looked worried for their purple alicorn friend, Twilight hasn't gotten any sleep since Spike has left. Trying her best to get her little brother back to her. "Twi' face it, Spike is gone. He might be anywhere in Equestria by now, Manehattan, The Crystal Empire....." Rainbow stated, Twilight looked at Rainbow with her tired eyes. "Or he might be standing in the doorway with Starlight Glimmer by his side." Applejack stated, looking at the pair. "Weird place, but sure let's roll with it." Rainbow said, Twilight didn't bother listening to Rainbow Dash. She turned to see Spike smiling at her, the purple alicorn tackled him into a tight hug. Begging him to never do something like that to her again. The Main Six looked at Starlight Glimmer who gave off a nervous smile to the six friends not knowing what to say. "What are you doing here!?" Twilight asked, Spike stepped in front of Starlight. "Twi, Starlight is my friend and maybe more it is weird at the moment. She wants to change, but she needs a pony to teach her all about friend and I only know of one pony who will be the best darn teacher in Equestria." Spike said, giving a smile to Twilight. Twilight turned around to grab some paper, she turned back to the unicorn kissing Spike on the lips. Twilight's eye began twitching. "Eh, like it's complicated. We can talk about this whenever you wake up." Spike said, Twilight shook her head. "No, mister I think we...." Twilight began, Spike snapped his fingers causing the tired alicorn to fall asleep straight away. Twilight snored on the ground, Spike shrugged his shoulders just explaining that he been around Twilight for so long that whenever the purple alicorn gets too tired, Spike just need to click his fingers together and the Princess of Friendship falls straight asleep. Starlight helped Spike carry the sleeping alicorn up to her room, while the dragon and unicorn talked about what their first date should be. > Blind Date: (Lightning Dust x Spike) > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was a warm yet cloudy day in the city of Fillydelphia, as a bright-blue light with a yellow streak in the center blazed through the city. It was Lightning Dust; fastest pegasus in her home city and a would-be Wonderbolt if it wasn't for Rainbow Dash. After word got round of her misgivings at the academy, ponies began to turn a blind eye to the speedy pegasus, the only job that even considered hiring her being the mail-ponies. Her coat was a light turquoise, and her mane a brilliant amber with beautiful gold stripes adorning it. Her eyes, with their interesting gamboge colour, shimmered in the bits of sun that broke through the mass of clouds. Lightning Dust knew she could easily travel across the whole city in record-breaking time, and a forehoof twitched at the thought of such exhilarating fun. Yet she still felt that small bit of extra weight in her saddlebag and easily remembered she had but one stop left on her mail-run. She came to a quick and effortless halt, glancing around with a cheerful grin. She always saved the library for last. She trotted past the mailbox that read 'Spike' whilst scanning over the remaining letters, pausing at the last one; a love letter written by herself. Lighting Dust had carried that letter with her on multiple runs, always having an inner battle whether to give it to Spike or not. The speedy pegasus hesitated once more before shoving it back into her bag, knocking a hoof on the archaic wooden door. The door opened wide and she gave a soft smile, seeing the tall purple-and-green scaled dragon. Spike returned the smile to his friend, waving her into the library courteously. The dragon had begun living in Fillydelphia about three months ago, leaving his assistant job to seek out his own career. When Spike had first arrived, he was somewhat surprised to learn that there were dragons living in their own part of the city. The discrimination toward them kept all to their own little ‘Dragon Town’, nearly all unable to get any jobs outside it. Spike, however, was lucky as the city library was recently shut down from neglect and desperately needed an owner. Being the only being willing and knowledgeable, the job and place was his in minutes. Barely anypony even gave Spike the time of day, turning their heads or quickly trotting away. No matter how kind he was to them, mothers would pull their children away from the dragon. Some ponies purposefully changed their daily routine to stay away from him. Lightning Dust was the first pony who talked to him, although the only reason was because she thought it’d be ‘wicked’ to have a dragon for a friend. Their friendship took a nosedive before it could flourish after Spike told her he was one of Rainbow Dash's friends. When she heard that, Lightning Dust angrily stuck her tongue out in disgust, she wanted nothing to do with anyone who knew that rainbow mane devil! Despite her heel-face turn hatred of him, Spike still treated her with nothing but kindness. One day, he noticed a small group of ponies huddled in a circle yelling at something. He slowly got closer out of curiosity only to see seemingly defeated looking Lightning Dust in the circle’s center. He instantly sprang at the circle of bullies, blowing smoke and giving them an exaggerated deranged look. They all screamed and galloped away, tails tucked between their legs. Spike slowly exhaled and offered a claw to the unfortunate pegasus. With both giving each other weak smiles, their friendship finally flourished at a swift pace. Lightning Dust stuck with him from then on while trotting the streets, the ponies too terrified to be anywhere near her with her ‘feral attack dragon’ at her side. As the months flew by, the two only grew closer as friends. Eventually, Lightning found herself growing a light crush on the dragon. White Lightning, with whom Lightning Dust is crashing with, bombarded her with unending teasing once she had found out. The first time she found out White Lightning gave a unsettlingly large smile before dancing around the room, chanting “My sister likes someone!” to which Lighting Dash could only give an embarrassed laugh. The speedy pegasus would grow flustered quite often when White Lightning began to tease her. As she had put it, the speedy pegasus was due for some payback after Lightning Dust had teased her sister when the awkward pegasus had found a nice marefriend. The last few weeks the barrage of teasing stopped abruptly, turning instead to coaxing her to ask the dragon out. Each night getting the same sad sight of a pegasus taking a letter she had written out of love, trashing it, and writing a new one for the next day. Each day hope grew for something different, and today seemed like it might finally be the one. Snapping out of her casual expository flashback, Lightning Dust turned around to address the dragon of her dreams. "Hey there Spike." she greeted with a large grin. Spike smiled back with an eyebrow raised, "It’s good to see you, as always, but you know it's called a mailbox for a reason, Dusty." Spike joked, Lightning Dust’s cheeks heated as she pawed at the ground with a hoof. 'Dusty'. A nickname that Spike had given her. Lightning Dust thought it was far too cute for an awesome pegasus like herself. It always seeming to ruffle her feathers when he used it, meaning that Spike used it constantly, until White Lightning informed Lightning Dust that the speedy pegasus and the bookworm dragon were ‘sharing pet names’. Lightning Dust simply banged her head against a table repeatedly at that comment. She shook herself out of embarrassment and thought up a comeback, "Well if I used it, then you wouldn’t be blessed by my awesome presence." Lightning Dust countered, flipping her mane for extra emphasis. Spike gave an exaggerated eye roll, "Uh-huh, sure. And, might I ask, how are mail-ponies awesome again?" Spike quizzed. Lightning Dust shoved the mail into Spike's claws, unable to think of any rebuttals. Spike chuckled as her cheeks grew heated and she gave an overstated pout. "Aww, come on Dusty, don’t gimme that look!" Spike whined, “How about I make it up to you by taking you to a nice dinner? What say you to that?” Lightning's  eyes widened and her face turned bright red. Spike had just basically asked her out on a date. Lightning Dust began hyperventilating before turning around to face Spike with a fake smile, hiding her huge grin that she would normally have when the dragon ask her to hang out. "No, sorry Spike... But, umm.... I have more delivers to make and stuff. I'm really busy! Honest." Lightning Dust spoke, letting out a nervous chuckle while she were scratching the back of her neck. "Oh, alright then. Have a good day, Dusty." Spike said, giving the speedy pegasus his friendly smile. "Yeah, you too. Later Spike!" Lightning Dust said, before she bolted into the bright blue sky. Lightning Dust speed back to the quiet dead-end street, not many houses were built around the silent corner. There is only about five to seven houses at the most, and the ponies who lived around these parts kept to themselves. Yelling at anyone who would dare come close to their door, Lightning Dust walked down the sidewalk, at the end of the street seemed to be the only house that had any bright colours painted on it, since the rest is just either black or gray or a mix of both. The speedy pegasus mare with the light turquoise coat, used the key she kept around her neck. Opening to be greeted by the ever chipper Cloud Kicker; White Lightning's marefriend, who been crashing here since the two mares started getting serious in their relationship. Cloud Kicker has grayish cerise eyes, a light brilliant amber and very light yellow for her mane colour and her coat being pale persian blue. Cloud Kicker wrapped Lightning Dust into a tight hug, the speedy pegasus let out a groan of annoyance, Cloud Kicker seems to treat Lightning Dust like the pegasus is made out of glass and could break at any moment, it made Lightning Dust's eye twitch every time Cloud Kicker reminded the speedy pegasus about her failure at being a Wonderbolt. The only reason why Lightning Dust didn't kick Cloud Kicker to the ground is one soul reason, White Lightning would be mad and rule number one is never get White Lightning mad. "Let go of her, Cloudy." A female voice rang, Cloud Kicker patted Lightning Dust's head before going back to the couch. White Lightning; Lightning Dust's older sister, with Lightning Dust being the middle child of the family of three. White Lightning has light cyan colour eyes, a light cerulean mane and a sapphire bluish white coat.  Cloud Kicker and White Lightning both gave a quick kiss on the lips that made Lightning Dust stick out her tongue in disgust, seeing her older sister and her marefriend kissing and making lovey dovey faces to each other while the speedy pegasus was still in the room made Lightning Dust feel sick. "Cloudy, you mind if I have a chat with my dear sister." White Lightning spoke, Cloud Kicker kissed White Lightning's cheek before leaving to the room that the couple shared. "What's wrong Lightning? Come sit and tell your big sister all your problems." White Lightning spoke, Lightning Dust rolled her eyes. The speedy pegasus sat on the dusty brown couch, sitting next to her older sister. White Lightning gave her younger sister a kind small smile, the pegasus mare with the sapphire bluish white coat have tried her best to reconnect with Lightning Dust, hoping that with her younger sister living with her once again, that the two could become friends once more and fix their broken family. White Lightning had little luck with Lightning Dust, the speedy pegasus would turn her head and ignore her older sister, the only time when the two had a real talk was when Lightning Dust first meet Spike, when the dragon moved to Fillydelphia. "It just after the Wonderbolt Academy, I just feel like no pony wants me." Lightning Dust spoke, White Lightning wrapped her wing around the speedy pegasus. "What about Spike? He's your friend, even after learning what you did." White Lightning said "Yeah, but Spike just wants to be friends.... I want to feel wanted again, seeing you with Cloud Kicker just keeps reminding me that there's no pony in my life that would give that kind of love." Lightning Dust spoke, White Lightning's eyes sparkled with a idea coming to her mind. "Blind Dating!" White Lightning cried out "Huh?" Lightning Dust let out, confusion filled her voice. "It's simple, go blind dating. You be able to meet stallions that are the perfect match for you, sure there are some weirdos out there. But you’re my sister, even if you find a weirdo boyfriend I’ll still be by your side." White Lightning gave Lightning Dust a smile who is just scratching the back of her mane. "Sure, I guess so, it not like anypony in their right mind would willing go on a date with me after The Academy Accident." Lightning Dust spoke, she hung her head in despair. "Any guy would be lucky to have you Lightning. I have to say that since I'm your older sister, but I always be by your side and if any jerk breaks your heart, just tell me and let's just say they’ll never be walking ever again." White Lightning stated, Lightning Dust looked at her older sister in pure surprise. "Your terrifying when your angry." "Anything for my sisters, I won't let any harm come to you." White Lightning smiled The next day came sooner than Lightning Dust had hoped, she made her rounds around the city. Stopping once again at Spike's library, chatting with him giving the purple and green scale dragon his junk mail. Lightning Dust bid goodbye to the dragon, Spike talked to her about having somewhere to go, it ignored Lightning Dust to no end that the dragon kept it a secret. Now, there she was. Standing in front of a grinning pair of unicorn stallions known as the Flim Flam Brothers. Lightning Dust threatened them before the two could start singing about blind dating, the speedy pegasus already felt bad about all of this. She signed up her name, the two unicorn brothers smiled at the pegasus. "Worry not, young filly." Flim spoke, grinning "Yes, your date will be at The Jump Start Cafe." Flam finished with a smile. "That's the cheapest cafe in Fillydelphia!" Lightning Dust yelled, the Flim Flam brothers looked worried at the angry mare. "Why yes, but you don't want to scare you date with something to big." Flim started, he hit his brother with his right leg. "Oh, right. Plus it’ll be more romantic if you two fell in love in a place most ponies turn a blind eye to." Flam continued "And it is called a blind date, isn't The Jump Start Cafe the best place to start." Flim finished, Lightning Dust held her tongue. "Fine, then I don't care." Lightning Dust spoke, turning her head away from the two unicorn brothers. "That's great, your date is at six-PM. Table sixteen and the gentle colt name is Drake!" Flam spoke, Lightning Dust elevated her eyebrow. 'I am going to get you for this White Lightning, if this is some weirdo, I'll make you pay!' Lightning Dust thought, while she flew away. She had a bit of free time, having told the Flim Flam Brothers her nickname, she was thinking of something cool and awesome to match her personally. There were no words that Lightning Dust could think of, just using that dumb cute nickname that Spike calls her. 'Dusty' the speedy pegasus didn't even bother getting a dress on for this date, the pegasus with a light turquoise coat refused the dress, Lightning Dust didn't care if she was going on a date with Princess Celestia, the speedy pegasus would not and will not put on a dress, they always slow her down and reminded the pegasus of some bad days that happen in the past. Six-PM; the clock stuck and made a dinging noise, The Jump Start Cafe is most run down and cheapest place in the city of Fillydelphia. The Cafe is a complete wreck, there are holes in the ceiling and in the floor any kind of pressure would create another hole. There are mouses and bugs living in the walls, when the chef sees any bugs crawling near the food. Those bugs would be met with a silver spatula. Then they will continue to use the spatula even after ending a bug’s life with it. Lightning Dust couldn't stomach anything that these guys made, the best part is if you get sick in Jump Start Cafe you get one third of what you had paid. It doesn't happen often, but when it does, oh boy the ponies who run The Cafe get peeved always trying to weasel they way out of losing money. Lightning Dust sat at table sixteen waiting for her date to come through those doors, she started tapping her hoof against the ground, there wasn't many ponies here so, there wasn't anypony to annoy. Lightning Dust ducked under the table, seeing her best friend and only friend; Spike walking through the door, Lightning Dust saw that the purple and green scale dragon held a white piece of paper in his claw. "Dusty? Weird name choice, table sixteen." Spike said, Lightning Dust sneak her way to the girls toilet. She is set on it, tomorrow she is going to destroy the Flim Flam Brothers. It will be slow and painful, she hit her head with her hoof. "Out of everypony in Fillydelphia, my date has to be with Spike! The only guy who I like!" Lightning Dust said to herself, covering her mouth with her hoof. Lightning Dust shook her head. 'Okay it is only one date. It won't change anything between us, it just like any normal day when we hang out together. Only this time it's a date, with the only guy who is willing to call me a friend. You got this Lightning, I'm cool and awesome, I can handle anything that comes my way!' Lightning Dust exited, coming up to Table Sixteen. With every step, she took the table seemed to be moving farther away, the speedy pegasus knew it was all in her head. She sat opposite of Spike giving off a cocky smile, the purple and green scale dragon expression froze looking at his date. "Your Dusty.... I don't know why I didn't catch that sooner." Spike spoke "Yeah, it was the only name I could think of, what your reason Mr. Drake?" Lightning Dust questioned, Spike let out a laugh. "It a ridiculous name, but when I was living Ponyville, some ponies thought that a male dragon is called a Drake and I believed them until I made friends with Dragon Lord Ember and after her never ending laughter, a male dragon is just called a dragon while a female is a dragoness." Spike explained, Lightning Dust grind her teeth when Spike spoke of another female in his life. "Yeah, funny story." Lightning Dust spoke The two stayed silent not knowing what to say to each other, talking to each other on any normal day was just fine, but now with the speedy pegasus sitting opposite of the male dragon. Either of them couldn't find any words, Lightning Dust ordered her favourite dish; Tomato, snow pea and basil salad with Spike wanting the same thing. Spike smiled at the pegasus. "So, umm... How are you?" Spike asked, trying to break the silence between them. "Good, my older sister White Lighting talked me into this." Lightning Dust explain "Yeah, I been wanting to find that special one for me. The mare who I want to be with never wanted to go out with me." Spike explain, Lightning Dust is holding down her anger. "That mare must be dumb if she doesn't want to be with you." Lightning Dust spoke, Spike gave off a weak smile. This is most awkward first date Spike’s ever had, well it is the only date he ever had. The two have nothing to talk about and wasn't even looking into each others eyes, it seem like forever when the date ended, Spike had wanted to go on a date with Lightning Dust when he started learning more about the speedy pegasus. Tomorrow came, Lightning Dust made her rounds. Speeding past every mailbox, filling them with the mail that she carried in her saddle. Lightning Dust stopped at the library that Spike runs, the speedy pegasus stood by the mailbox, pulling out all of Spike's mail and just dumping it his mailbox and get away. "Dusty. Hey what's up!" Spike cried out, Lightning Dust froze "Sup Drake. I'm just putting your mail in your mailbox like you always wanted." Lightning Dust spoke, scratching her mane. "Yeah, thanks for that... I thought you wanted to talk." Spike said. "I.... I got places to go Spike.... Umm... It just well I need more stuff to do." Lightning Dust lied, "Lots of other stuff... Important stuff.... Bye!" Lightning Dust spoke, speeding off before Spike could say another word. Spike hit his head with his claw more than once, calling himself an idiot not telling Lightning Dust how he felt about her sooner. The male dragon opened his mailbox, looking over the junk mail, letters from his friends from Ponyville wondering if he doing okay. The last letter was a love letter, from Lightning Dust. Spike eyes widen in shock, he read what the pegasus had written, her hoof writing is terrible. Dear Spike. I don't know what to write here, I'm not going to lie I spend a while with the quill in my mouth. White Lightning (Older Sister) told me to pour my heart out and tell you that I love you. That's not me, and I want you to love me for who I am, I know we're friends, but I kinda wish we could be more. I don't think I'll be able to give this to you, I might not be brave enough. You're my best friend, well you're my only friend. My sister doesn't count, I would like to go on a date with you, I doubt you feel the same way about me. I'm the mare who almost hurt your closest friends, I'm shocked that you’re even my friend. I'm writing to ask you out on a real date. Love From Lightning Dust. Little surprises Lightning Dust, she train herself day and night to become the best out of any pegasus and no pony was close to her best beside Rainbow Dash, but the pegasus with light turquoise coat tried her best to not think about that cyan pegasus with the rainbow mane. Now, seeing White Lightning talking to Spike, her older sister was busy sharing really embarrassing stories about Lightning Dust's childhood. "Then there was when our mother..." White Lightning started, Lightning Dust's eye twitching. "That's ENOUGH!" Lightning Dust cried out, the pegasus and dragon looked over at the mad Lightning Dust. "Sorry, but that's enough. White you know not to talk about her, Drake what are you doing here?" Lightning Dust asked, Spike shook his head. "What's with the 'Drake' nickname Dusty?" Spike question "If you can call me 'Dusty' I can call you 'Drake' and it seems that you don't enjoy that name so, I'm sticking to it." Lightning Dust spoke, sticking her tongue out, causing White Lightning to giggle at how cute the dragon and her younger sister acted to each other. "I came here because of this." Spike said, he is grinning while he held the love letter Lightning Dust wrote for him, her cheeks heated up with a blush. "Spike... Umm... You don't..." "I'm here to say I love to go on a date with you and a real one. Just us together, and if it sounds awkward we can just hang out like normal friends do and have it not be a date." Spike explained Lightning Dust's cheeks couldn't be more red, she saw her older sister giggling to herself behind Spike’s back, White Lightning never seen Lightning Dust this embarrassed before, she could tell that the older sister was fighting to take a picture to have this golden moment last forever. "Umm.... Sure, Spike that will be great." Lightning Dust said, her cheeks heating up even more. "That's wonderful, I'll meet you at the museum tomorrow around lunch." Spike said, getting up and before he left the male dragon kissed Lightning Dust's cheek. Once Spike left, White Lightning couldn't stop smiling towards her younger sister. "Not one word, White, not one word." "You're in love." White Lightning said Midday finally arrived, Lightning Dust landed with style in front of the large museum made out of stone, Spike shook his head sideways at the speedy pegasus. "So, umm.... Dusty, why did you get so mad about the mere mention of your mother?" Spike asked, Lightning Dust froze looking away from the male dragon. "It's a long story, my mother wasn't a good pony. She did things a mother should never do to their children, she's locked away now and the youngest sibling went to our aunt Lofty, she was only a baby at the time, she most likely doesn't even know she has siblings." "But, I don't want to sour our date, hurry up Drake. You're far too slow!" Lightning Dust spoke up, she started flying and pulling on Spike's right arm. Spike didn't get much time to look at anything in the Museum since whenever the two stopped, Lightning Dust kept in the air, wanting to speed past everything. Everything beside the History of The Wonderbolts, which caught her eyes, she land on the ground looking to see some pegasus fillies and colts standing in cut out of the Wonderbolts uniform one day wanting to be one. Spike grabbed her shoulder, causing the speedy pegasus to look at Spike in surprise, she somewhat forgot why she was here. "I remember back when I was a filly, I used to sneak out every day to stand where those children are now. One day wishing to become a Wonderbolt to be the best, to have little fillies and colts look up to me like I'm a hero, I'm the best pony there ever was." "I got so caught up in it, that I forgot what it meant to be a Wonderbolt. I just wanted to be the best, better than anypony else and it went to my head." Lightning Dust spoke, Spike pulled her close to him, the speedy pegasus could feel his warm scales pressing against her coat. "I think you would've made a great Wonderbolt, Dusty. Come on, we can get out of here." Spike said, Lightning Dust followed in silence, while she kept looking back to The Wonderbolt Hall even when she couldn't see it anymore. Spike smiled, giving the pegasus a chocolate ice-cream. Lightning Dust licked her lips at the site, after the date ended, Lightning Dust gave Spike a small peck on his scaly lips. It been a rough later days, she and Spike got back to talking again with still a little bit of awkward moments in between their conversation. Lightning Dust was so glad that her annoying older sister wasn't around when Spike gave her some roses, which is her favourite. "Hey Dusty." Spike spoke, Lightning Dust paused before she soar away. "Yeah Drake, what is it?" Lightning Dust asked "I was just wondering if you want to be my marefriend? I would understand if you don't want to be in a relation-" Spike got silence by Lightning Dust pressing her lips against Spike's. Lightning Dust broke the kiss, looking over at Spike's shocked expression. "I was wonder how long it would take you to ask me out. The answer yes, there's no pony or anybody else I would want to be with beside you, Drake." "Well, my marefriend Dusty. Ready for the first date we are going to have together as a couple?" Spike asked, Lightning Dust let out a giggle. "Lead the way my boyfriend Drake." Lightning Dust kissed his check, flying by his side ready for their third date. > Fooled Around And Fell In Love: (Coco Pommel x Spike) > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Spike currently sat on the bumpy seats of the train, he currently sat opposite of a unicorn mare from Canterlot that was just visiting Ponyville for a couple of days. Lemon Hearts; she had Moderate raspberry colour eyes, with a Moderate cerulean with a light cerulean tail streak in her mane and her coat being Light brilliant yellow and sometimes having Light cornflower bluish gray colour eye shadow. Lemon Hearts giggle at Spike's joke and with his charming voice, the unicorn mare was in his claw, she leans in to kiss Spike on the lips. He pulled the unicorn mare closer to his warm body, Lemon Hearts broke the kiss too fast for Spike's liking. "Sorry, this is a little too soon, we just met a few days ago." Lemon Hearts spoke, Spike rolled his eyes. The male dragon started to wear a brown trench coat, it was made by Rarity for one of his birthdays before he left Ponyville without saying goodbye to any of his friends. He knew that Twilight is angry at him, her anger levels are most likely over Luna's moon. Spike wished to stay with his friends, but he was always on the move, the male dragon is a wander around Equestria. "Come on, Lemon Hearts. You're a beautiful mare, one of the most beautiful ponies I have ever met." Spike spoke. The male dragon has been known as a ladies man, picking up on any mare that caught his green colour eyes. Using the same lines repeatedly, making the mare who he was trying to get with to feel special. To feel like she matters in the large world, that somebody cares and loves her. Spike just uses that to get with them, the best part was that ever mare falls for it. Spike been at this for so long, that the male dragon knows how to play the cards in his hand. "Really, you think I'm beautiful?" Lemon Hearts asked, she couldn't believe that someone would say at to her, most guys rather chase after her friend; Twinkleshine. "Divine, delightful, exquisite, magnificent. Pick one my dear, you're too good for words, you are a gift from above." Spike said, giving off his alluring smile. "Oh, Spike that's so sweet." Lemon Hearts spoke, her head lean off to the left. Before she could lean in and kiss the dragon again. The train hiss and stopped having arrived at Canterlot, Lemon Hearts looked and gave Spike a quick kiss on his lips. Telling him that she'll date him next time the two meet again. Spike lean his head on the window, the next stop was Manehattan, the place where he was going. The male dragon was too well known in Canterlot, he had wooed a lot of Mares in the royal city. Spike got out a small black notebook from his right pocket with his blue ink pen. Writing down Lemon Hearts' name right underneath her best friend name. Spike tapped his chin with the tip of the pen. Twinkleshine and Lemon Hearts (If I place my cards right, I could get with both of them) Spike wrote down. The male dragon knew that no mare would talk to him or fall for his tricks on the train, they all saw him chatting with Lemon Hearts, they all most likely thought that the two found love on the train ride. Spike rolled and laughed at the thought of 'Love' he knows better, it was just a child's game. Only fools fell in love, it's like how the ocean is blue and the grass is green. Spike head lean on the window, watching the trees past by in a flash. He began to wonder what kind of mares Manehattan had, he knew that no pony could match her. Spike shook his head, getting that unicorn with a snow white coat out of his head, she was the only reason that he left Ponyville. Spike shut his eyes, sleeping and saving his energy for the only city large enough to rival Canterlot in size. Spike's dreams were filled with gems raining down from above while he was surrounded by many beautiful mares. The male dragon smiled in his sleep, he could feel the bumps with his head banging against the back of his seat. Spike awoke, he had a grumpy expression frozen on his face. The male dragon had always despise being woken up when he's was having a wonderful dream, he rubbed his tired green eyes, looking to see the state of a mare holding a large torch in her right hoof and a book in her left. Many boats were out on the ocean and there was just so many different streets and buildings. Spike gave off a smile, looking at the city. 'New place, new mares. I wonder what kind of girls I'll meet here?' Spike thought, while the train began to slow down. The train finally stopped, stream filled the air. Many ponies rushed out of the train cart and into the streets of Manehattan. Spike stayed still, his claws were in his pockets, his right claw feeling his black book to check if it was still there. Spike laughed remembering that Twilight had bought that for Spike on his birthday, so he would remember to do his work. Buying an apple from a not so joyful pony. Spike crush down on the apple, he remembers back when he was a baby dragon visiting Manehattan for the first time, the buildings felt so high, like they past the clouds in the bright blue sky. Spike chuckled at his old childish self, the main question was where to start. There are just so many streets and pathways leading off to who knows where, ponies pushed past Spike, not even batting an eye at the male dragon. Most of them just acted like he was just some stupid tourist that didn't know any better, Spike just started walking straight ahead. Hopping that luck would lead him to what he wants. Spike made his way through the crowds of ponies. His eyes search around, there are a lot of pretty mares for Spike to pick from, but his eyes locked on one, an earth pony mare. Her eyes colour is grayish brown with her mane being grayish violet and finally her coat colour being very pale orchid. Spike knew who she was, Suri Polomare one of Rarity's rivals in the fashion world. "Hello there my dear." Spike spoke, causing Suri to turn to look at the male dragon. "Why hello tall handsome dragon, how may I help you. I'm..." Suri started "Yes, Suri Polomare, a name that belongs to a Goddess. I have travelled all over Equestria and I heard your name from everywhere I went. Canterlot, Fillydelphia, Las Pegasus and many more. You're famous around the world, I was just wish we could get a cup of coffee sometime?" Spike asked, Suri cheeks heated with a bright burning blush. "Oh my, who may you be?" Suri asked, Spike could tell from her facial expression that he already won her over without need to try much. "My name is Spike." He said, putting on a charming smile. Spike had Suri Polomare in his claws, the earth pony with the pale orchid colour coat walked by his side. Leaning on his side, the two went to the nearest cafe where they were; Sunny Bites Cafe. Spike and Suri sat outside, enjoying the lovely weather that shine down from above. Spike sat bored giving off a deadpan expression while Suri talked on and on about how great she was. Spike didn't listen to a word that Suri Polomare said, this was the biggest mistake he make right next to when he got together with Blossomforth that was a mare that could talk for hours without stopping to take a breath. Spike eyes looked behind Suri spotting another earth pony leaving the cafe. Spike could see her clearly, she was breath-taking. She looked a bit familiar, Spike couldn't put his claw on it now she was too busy walking away, Suri seemed to noticed Spike looking towards the earth pony mare that walking away from Sunny Bites Cafe. Suri Polomare rolled her eyes, she seems displeased at the seeing that mare again. "That's Coco Pommel, she was my former assistant. She backstabbed me, turn on me for a unicorn and now she thinks that she better than me." Suri Polomare raged on, she noticed that Spike was no longer sitting opposite of her with a note left on the table. "Don't write to me, I'll write to you." The note readied. Spike walked the streets of Manehattan, learning from ponies and just seeing Coco Pommel walking a quite far distance from the male dragon. Spike stood by the street lamp, watching the earth pony going into the shop she owns. Using one of his fingers, Spike rip through his trench coat sleeve. Ripping off a large part of the sleeve leading towards his elbow. Spike knocked on the door, it opens the male dragon saw this Coco Pommel, she had light cyan colour eyes, with her mane colour being pale, light greyish cyan and opalish grey and finally her coat colour is light amberish gray. Spike just remember why he knew her, Coco Pommel works and knows Rarity. "Oh hello, how may I help you?" Coco asked, her voice sounded sweet and pleasing on the ears. "You may not remember me, I'm Spike. I'm a friend of Rarity's" Spike said, keeping the smile on his face. Coco Pommel looked at him, moving her head up and down, her light cyan colour eyes looked at the male dragon, the earth pony mare blushed a bit at the site of him. The last time she saw him, the male dragon was just a baby... But now, he fully grown up. "I was just wondering if you could fix up Trench Coat, it's a prize possession. A dear friend of mine made it for my birthday, it just sounds all a bit silly." Spike said, he didn't know why he was telling her all of this. "Oh, I get that. Even the littlest things like a shirt or stuffed animal toy meant for young fillies and colts can be prize possession in due time." Coco spoke, letting the male dragon into her shop. Spike sat on the seat while Coco looked over the Trench Coat, Spike remember that his black notebook was still inside his right-hand pocket. He was more than nervous; his plan was to woo Coco Pommel if she would find the book then it could be horrible for him. "Rarity talks about you a lot. She and I write letters, she misses you and wonders why you left." Coco Pommel spoke up, Spike froze. "I rather not talk about it, I shall make us some tea." Spike said, giving off a charming smile to Coco Pommel. Spike just left the room, Coco noticed a small black notebook that fell out of the pocket of Spike's Trench Coat. Her head tilted to the right, she opens the book, going off to a random page. List of Mares that I gotten with: Daisy Lemon Hearts Vinyl Scratch Gilda Nurse Redheart Moonlight Raven Sunshine Smiles Suri Polomare Cherry Jubilee Minuette Derpy Hooves Limestone Pie Marble Pie Zecora Bon Bon (Sweetie Drops) Vapor Trail Captain Celaeno Lotus and Aloe Twinkleshine Daring Do Roseluck Saffron Masala Blossomforth Sparkler Berry Punch Those were just the first five pages, Coco shut the book putting it back into the pocket. The earth pony mare knows that she is just going to be just another name with a long list of mares. Coco Pommel gave off a devilish smile, she is coming up with a plan in her head. 'He won't win my heart, let's just see how far he's willing to go?' Coco Pommel thought to herself, the gears in her head working on all the ways she could make Spike pay for all the hearts he broke until he meet her. Spike exit the kitchen wearing a smile, holding two tea cups. Coco Pommel gave the male dragon a sweet smile, taking a small drink in her hoof. Coco had thought of a plan to make the male dragon pay, she was giving off an evil smirk thinking of all the ways she would use him like a puppet. "This is great Spike." Coco spoke, Spike gave a friendly smile in return "It's no problem Coco, maybe we could go out sometime?" Spike asked "Sorry Spike, but I need to finish my work first. You can help me get through all the good luck rituals that I made. If you help me, then I'll go on a date with you." Coco Pommel said, returning Spike's friendly smile. Spike blinked, "Fine then. What do have me to do?" Coco gave off her kind smile, that looked more devilish then kind and welcoming. Spike just looked confused on what Earth pony was planning, she claps her two front hooves together with a smile that Spike found cute with the way her head was a little bit on the right. Coco got up, pulling Spike by his right ear. The dragon let out some cries of pain at the ear pulling, Spike stood up. "Now for the good luck rituals!" Coco Pommel cry out in pleasure "Flick your ear," Spike flinched, "Then Iron a sunflower and..." Coco looked around seeing how dirty her floor was "Clean the floor." She finished, Spike dumbfounded expression was frozen on his face. The male dragon shook his head, thinking nothing about the strange good luck rituals. Spike has been going at this for five hours, each time he finished one Coco added five more. Strange that most of them around chores like washing the dishes or folding away clothes. Then some was a little stranger, like giving a cactus a hug or screaming like a weasel while Coco hit Spike with a metal chair. She wanted or needed Diamond Dog toenails, cut hair from a unicorn and a dragon scale. Coco drunk her hot chocolate filled with some marshmallows, Spike fell on the couch, he looked tired and out of breath, the male dragon was also missing a scale on his right arm. Coco had her head against the table, she was looking at a dress that looked complete, but the mare with light amberish grey colour coat. Had her head against the table, Spike saw the mare, chuckling to himself knowing what she was going through. Coco head looked up to see piles of beautiful shining gems sitting in front of them, Spike gave her smile. "Keep them, think it like a gift." Spike gave a warm smile before he left to go and get a Hippogriff feather, Coco found herself lucky that Spike didn't catch her blushing. It was long until Coco ran out of ideas to put Spike through she already made him hang upside down while kissing a rock and getting her a rainbow's glow. Coco Pommel was in a strange moment, her hoof was held by Spike's claw, the male dragon was currently teaching her how to dance since she got invited to a ball. A lovely melody blasted from the stereo, while Spike held her close to his warm scales. Coco felt strange on three hooves while her front left hoof was held by Spike's claw, but she felt like he wouldn't let her go, she felt safe with him holding her close. Spike and Coco lean close, their lips was only inches apart, the earth pony mare pushed the male dragon away. "No! I won't be another mare on your list!" Coco Pommel cried out "So, you readied my list?" Spike asked, even already knowing the answer Coco nodded her head. "You’re the guy who would kiss them and I love them cause to you they're all the same. Tell me that I'm wrong" Coco said, Spike looked away. "I go around, since I got my heartbroken before and I don't want to ever feel that again. I always leave if I close to falling in love with the mare that I'm trying to woo." Spike said, Coco threw Spike his trench coat. "Well, I'm not being on that list." Coco said, proudly "Good because I was going to leave Manehattan tomorrow anyway, I'm heading to Cloudsdale, is the furthest city from Manehattan." Spike said, putting on his coat and leaving Coco alone. "Stupid Spike. 'Oh, I only moving to Cloudsdale, because it the furthest away from Manehattan. Since the only reason I leave is if I fall in love with the mare that I'm woo...'" Coco Pommel spoke, trying her best to mock Spike's voice. Soon getting the thought in her head. "Oh, I get it now." Steam filled the air, ponies rushed to buy their tickets. Spike stepped up the counter, wanting a one-way ticket to Fillydelphia then it would take a blimp up to Cloudsdale, Spike thought that while he was in Fillydelphia he could say hello to his friend Lightning Dust. Coco stepped next to him, pulling the male dragon away from the ticket booth before he could buy a ticket. "You're taking me out on a date. Tonight, at The Queen Cottage, it's a restaurant close to my apartment. The time is six-PM, don't be late." Coco spoke, Spike scratched his head. "Umm... What's happening?" Spike asked, Coco gave him a smile. "We're going on a date since you love me, and I love you, after our date. You are burning that book." Coco Pommel said, Spike smiled. "Well, it's for good luck." Coco smiled > Dream Lover: (Little Strongheart x Spike) > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Spike is unlucky in the love game. The male dragon couldn't find the right girl for him, but he wanted to find that special someone. The one that would make his heart start to flutter and make him want to do anything to see that special someone smile that lovely smile. Little to say, his friends were annoyed by Spike's shyness, whenever the male dragon wanted to talk to a girl, he would quickly back away. Rainbow Dash was the one pushing him the most, trying to beat the shyness that Spike had talking to all girls besides his friends. Well, the pegasus was second to the most meddling pony Spike knew: The Princess of the Night herself. Luna. Meddling Little Luna, who entered Spike's dreams whenever he went to sleep. Thousand of ‘nightmares’ about ponies, dragons, diamond dogs, zebra's, buffalo, and many more. Spike refused Luna’s pestering every time she wanted to help. The Princess of the Night left Spike's dream room, before walking into the Dream Realm. The realm held many doors spanning for miles to the left and right of her, each with Cutie Marks that told The Princess which ponies’ dreams lied behind which door. Many had no sign of a Cutie Mark, instead having a name written in fine-ink to tell her who’s it was. Behind those doors lay other creatures like dragons or Diamond Dogs dreams. Luna looked to see a rustic-brown wooden door being blocked by many strong metal chains and held shut by multiple large locks. A note was written upon the door: "Sorry Luna, but you’re not allowed in here. I won't let you see my mind again." Princess Luna walked through the halls, seeing a door coloured orange on the top, white in the middle, and green at the bottom. A name was written in the wood. "Little Strongheart", a female Buffalo whose father had been forcing to find a male Buffalo to have as a husband. The trouble being that the female buffalo wanted somebody caring and kind, and every guy in her tribe had neither of those traits. Princess Luna knew that both Spike and this Little Strongheart were looking for each other, despite them not knowing it. The Princess of The Night lit up her horn, using her magic to connect the two dreams together, Luna gave off a smile, seeing the white line of magic stretched between the hallway. Fireworks. Seeing them bust in the beautiful night sky was more than amazing. Fantastic didn’t right either, a female Buffalo watched the fireworks with her dark grayish and kinda reddish brown colored eyes. Her mane is a brilliant shade of light gamboge while her coat is light tangelo with her hooves just being dark gray. She also wears a purple and white colour headband spikes with two white feathers with black at the tip. Little Strongheart sat watching the fireworks with her boyfriend. The Buffalo smiled at a ruff memory on how the two somehow fell in love, it all happen when the Buffalo’s and Ponies of Appleloosa started a war. Little Strongheart shook the bad memory out of her head. She felt the warm touch from the purple claw of her loving boyfriend; Spike. He’s a little strange, but his heart is in the right place and he always follows what he believes in. That what made Little Strongheart love the male dragon, his kind, caring, generous nature just made the female Buffalo’s heart sing in joy. “Spike. This is wonderful. I thought that I would never see something like this in my life! I love it!” Little Strongheart cried out in joy. Spike gave his girlfriend a kiss on the forehead, getting the female Buffalo to calm down. Before Little Strongheart knew it, the setting changed around her and Spike. She was no longer sitting in a grassy field with just her and Spike watching the fireworks. “Anything for you, my love. I’ll do anything for love.” Spike spoke, Little Strongheart let out a sigh leaning her head on his shoulder. The two lovers floated in the sky in a pink air balloon over the city of Manehattan. Spike held Little Strongheart close to his warm scales, the female Buffalo cheeks began to heat up in a bright red blush. It always happen to her when Spike gave her a hug. She smiled, Spike held her hoof. The two looked up towards the night seeing the shooting stars from the hot air balloon that the two was currently riding on. Little Strongheart nuzzle her dragon boyfriend after she felt the strong cold air blowing through her mane. “I love you Spike. This is amazing, the best day ever thank you.” Little Strongheart spoke “I love you too Strongheart, anything for my number one gal.” Spike said, Little Strongheart gave a smile leaning into a kiss with her boyfriend. This all happen during a dinner by candlelight within the city of Manehattan. Roses in a flower jar sat in the middle, Little Strongheart noticed her favourit e meal sitting in front of her. She didn’t even remember ordering it, her memories felt a little fuzzy, like there are parts missing. She loved Spike, she felt a strong connection to him, she knew that Spike love her back. The only thing plaguing her was ‘why?’ He felt like a dream come true, that what made her wonder why, nothing in this  world seemed real, everything was a little too perfect. Little Strongheart woke by the sunlight, she rubbed her tired eyes. A dream, it was all a dream, a perfect dream with the perfect guy. She knew who Spike was, the female Buffalo meet the male dragon at Appleloosa when the ponies and Buffalo's were at war with each other. The strange feeling she had for him now, even thinking about Spike made her heart start to flutter. She had the male dragon on her mind, he made her smile without him even being there. It was that dream, it made her think more about Spike, during that dream he was nice, Little Strongheart is sure that he is nice and kind in the real world and the dream world. "I need to see him again. I wonder did he share the dream?" Little Strongheart said, wondering out loud. Spike had a strange dream, one with fireworks, hot air balloons, dinner by candlelight. Little Strongheart, he hadn't seen her in forever, but with her next to him, hugging him close. The thoughts of the Dream Date he had with Little Strongheart haunted him throughout the day. Spike slap his head, knowing the only pony that is up to this. Spike sat at the train station, waiting for the train to Appleloosa, the train rolled up to the station. Spike just lean his head on the window knowing that the ride to Appleloosa was twenty-four hours long, the male dragon just watched the green trees past by. His eyes lids soon closed once the night came once again, going into the lands of dreams. In a rocky terrain, Spike had his long silver lance in his right claw. Large dust clouds filled the land, the wicked King Sombra had filly napped Princess Little Strongheart; planning on making the Princess Little Strongheart, his Queen of The Darkness. Spike held a magic proof shield in his left claw, he looked to see the wicked King Sombra letting out a malicious laughter, Spike could hear the cries from the princess locked away in the tower that the evil king protected. King Sombra crushed Spike's shield under his hoof, he looked Spike with his glowing green eyes with purple flowing out of them. "You'll never save her. The Princess belongs to me and me alone! She shall be my Queen once I take over Equestria!" King Sombra spoke in his chilling deep voice. "You'll have to put that plan on hold for now Sombra!" Spike said, his eyes saw his lance only a few feet away. "You will never defeat me, I am King Sombra!" Spike is so glad that the power hungry unicorn loves to hear himself talk, Spike reached out his right arm, trying his best to grab hold of his silver lance. His fingers barely just touched the grip, the male dragon trying his best to roll the lance closer to his claw. Spike kicked the villainous King Sombra, he rolled against the rocky ground, Spike held his lance in his claw giving off a smile to the mad unicorn. King Sombra gave a grin to the male dragon, being the strong dragon he isn’t afraid of the wicked unicorn king. Spike blocked King Sombra magical blast, his feet dragging against the ground. Spike started moving slowly towards the wicked unicorn king, his feet digging into the rocky ground. King Sombra’s eyes widen in surprise, the wicked unicorn fell onto his knees, Spike towered over him. “Where’s Princess Little Strongheart?” Spike asked, his voice sounded much deeper than normal. “The…. Cough. Tower, she locked away. Only my magic can…. Cough. Break through the door.” Spike put his lance through King Sombra’s cape to make sure that the wicked unicorn wouldn’t try and escape justice. Princess Little Strongheart sat with a dark tower, there wasn’t any windows and a steel door blocking her only way out. A loud banging started happening at the door, the female Buffalo moved away from the door backing towards the wall. The steel door smashed against the ground; Princess Little Strongheart smiled in joy seeing the brave and handsome Sir Spike. The greatest knight in Equestria, the female Buffalo rushed up to the brave knight pressing her lips against Spike’s lips. Spike woke up, having arrived at Appleloosa. Spike walked through the town, seeing ponies and buffalo's living together in peace, he walked through the town, he smiled seeing the female buffalo. Little Strongheart turn to see Spike, remembering the dream that she been sharing with Spike. Little Strongheart and Spike left the town side by side, the dragon and buffalo sat a hill looking over the two. Little Strongheart didn't know what to say to him, after those dreams she felt a strange flutter and a blush would creep on her cheeks. "Sorry about those dreams, that was Luna. She thinks I need help to get a girlfriend." Spike said, causing Little Strongheart to let out a giggle. "I liked those dreams, is it possible to make those dreams into reality?" Little Strongheart asked, Spike looked at her with a smile. Spike bought her close to him, the two watched over the town holding each other close. > Love Is A Fools Game (Tempest Shadow/Fizzlepop Berrytwist x Spike) > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Fizzlepop Berrytwist, commonly known as Tempest Shadow. You stand here because of your crimes against Equestria, helping a mad titan to take away all the Alicorn magic, hunting down The Elements of Harmony, how do you plead?" A tall mare, with a broken horn, her eyes are a moderate opal colour, with her mane being a moderate rose with lighter edges, and her coat is dark orchid. She kept the same neutral expression stayed frozen on her face, a black coated pegasus stallion wearing gold armor over his coat and a large golden helmet. Fizzlepop looked at him with the corner of her eye, the hornless unicorn mane stood in front of the four princess of Equestria, with Princess Skystar and her mother Queen Novo looked down at her. It seem that Twilight Sparkle, was the only one not glaring at her with anger or rage. "Guilty, I work next to the Storm King and I can't change what happen in the past. I know he was just using me and I will take any punishment that you shall give me." Fizzlepop spoke, standing tall and try and not shake in fear. "Princess Celestia, she should be in prison!" The royal guard yelled out, the white coated put her hoof on her chin. "Leave us alone." Celestia voice boom out, every pony left confused, "Beside you Spike, stay here." The male dragon paused and stood next to Fizzlepop Berrytwist. "Tempest Shadow, in my lifetime, I have seen lots of powerful beings. You're not the only hornless unicorn that I know, and trust me, he is much more powerful than you are." Celestia said, Fizzlepop looked to the left and right in confusion. "You're crimes, they can't be easily forgotten, even if you're Princess Twilight Sparkle's Guard. For your punishment, Tempest Shadow. You and Spike shall be married by the end of the week." Celestia spoke, Fizzlepop turn to the male dragon who gave off a confuse shrug. "What?" Fizzlepop question "It either get married or get imprison." Celestia said, Fizzlepop open her mouth. "It no use arguing with her. Just go long with it." Spike whisper in Fizzlepop's ear. Fizzlepop Berrytwist didn't say another word, Celestia turn around leaving them alone. Spike had his arms folded, the dragon and hornless unicorn looked at each other, Celestia left the room, leaving them alone. Spike walked towards the doors, trying to open it, learning the The Princess of The Sun locked all the doors with her magic. Spike rubbed his head with claw in annoyance. "Sorry about her, Celestia and Luna has always been meddling in my love life." Spike said, Fizzlepop let out a sign. "Do we really have to get married?" Fizzlepop asked, Spike shrugged. "No idea." Spike said, "The best thing we can do is pretend to care about getting married. We both try and find a loophole before the end of the week." "Fine" Fizzlepop Berrytwist spoke, looking away from the male dragon. Spike sat down waiting for the doors to unlock, Fizzlepop sat next to him, he gave her a small smile. Fizzlepop turn away to look towards the walls made out of marbles, Spike folded his arms, looking towards the ground. The two didn't speak at all while they waited for Twilight to unlock the door for them. The Princess of Friendship couldn't even get a word out of any of them, Fizzlepop sat in silence trying to ignore all the looks from the ponies on the train ride. Fizzlepop tried her best to ignore Spike, not even looking the dragon in his green eyes, she would move her attention anywhere else and past him by, it bugged her that he lived in the same castle that she guarded, Twilight sat in her library, reading Advance Magic once again. Fizzlepop sat on the cold ground, her back leaning against the crystal wall, Spike sat next to the hornless unicorn. "Hey." Spike said, Fizzlepop looked at him for the first time since her day at count. "Good day Spike."Fizzlepop said, trying to stay calm. "I was just wondering if you wanted to go to Sugar Cube Corner with me at twelve?" Spike asked, Fizzlepop looked at the nervous dragon. "I don't know you that well and it might be best for us..." Spike said, Fizzlepop rolled her eyes. "You want a date with your future wife?" Fizzlepop finished for him. "What? I don't think of you like that, Fizzle." That made her pay more attention. "Sure, you're beautiful, I don't want to think of you like that!" Spike said, rushing through his words. Fizzlepop let out a small giggle, before shaking her head. "It's fine, Spike. Lunch at Sugar Cube Corner is fine. I'll meet you at twelve at the entrance of the castle." Fizzlepop said, leaving the dragon alone. Spike sat with a big smile on his lips, wanting to jump up in joy that he has a somewhat date with Fizzlepop Berrytwist, he rushed to get ready. Spike waited by the door for Fizzlepop to arrive, the hornless unicorn arrive on the dot of twelve O'Clock. Spike gave her a kind smile, she walked outside with Spike following beside her. Spike opposite of Fizzlepop, the mare drank her milkshake, Spike had the same thing, ponies in Sugar Cube Corner looked at them, Spike began to drink his milkshake. Fizzlepop looked them, her expression is fill with rage, everypony went back to eating and talking with their friends. "This place is crowd, do you wish to take our date somewhere else?" Fizzlepop asked, Spike noticed that the stares had returned from the ponies around them. "Sure." He said, walking next to Fizzlepop side. Finding a place where no pony would know where they were, is harder than it looks. Meaning that Spike sat in the Air Ship that used to belong to The Storm King, he and Fizzlepop waited for the hedgehog to be finished with their lunch, Grubber rushed into the room, carrying two plates one filled with salad while the other one had colourful gems. His eyes is a brilliant colour of opal, his spiky mane is a light sapphire bluish gray and cornflower bluish gray and his coat is a dark grayish cobalt blue. He place down the plates and quickly left the room, Fizzlepop ate her lunch, she looked at Spike. "I thought that dragons love eating gems?" She asked, Spike shook his head. "We do! It just well, I didn't think that..." Spike said, Fizzlepop looked away "It's fine Spike, I know you are uncomfortable with this whole wedding plan. I am too, I'm just trying to make the best of this before it comes to an end." Fizzlepop spoke, returning back to eating. Spike took a bit out of the sapphire on his plate, the rest of their lunch is silence between them, beside hearing the echoes through the empty airship, the noises pipes, the dripping water, the air ship had all these strange noises. It didn't bother Fizzlepop, Spike didn't see her expression change at all. Spike just went back to eating his gems Spike felt awkward, with a strange silence that hang around him and his friends, on the table sat a letter from Princess Celestia, it most likely had plans for Spike's and Fizzlepop Berrytwist wedding. Spike let out a defeated sign, he hang his head low, to avoid his friends glares. "What is this Spike!" Twilight yelled out "Celestia decide for Fizzlepop's punishment, is to be my wife. We have been trying to find a loophole." Spike tried explaining "I'll talk to Princess Celestia, try and put the wedding off." Twilight said "Good, while you do that. Fizzle asked me out on another date. Later girls." Spike said, leaving the castle. The second date with Fizzlepop, Spike and the hornless unicorn just sat outside Ponyville, sitting under the shade of a great oak tree. Fizzlepop took a bite out of a juicy red apple, while Spike ate a piece of a sapphire. "How did you join The Storm King?" Spike asked, Fizzlepop looked away. "I join him, because he promise to fix my horn. However, he kept avoiding it. Wanting one thing, before moving to another thing in a few days. The Storm King wanted that Scepter to take over Equestria. I did everything I was told, wishing for my horn back, to show everyone what I can do." Fizzlepop spoke, Spike pulled her close, bring her into a warm hug. Fizzlepop lightly blushed, feeling Spike's nice warm scales against her coat. She gave a light smile, nuzzling against his purple scales. The two stayed like that, feeling each other in the nice hug. Spike looked at Fizzlepop, seeing the bright orange golden sun, shining down onto Fizzlepop Berrytwist coat. He burp up a letter with a red ribbon wrapped around it. Dear Spike: I decide to pull off the wedding between you and Fizzlepop Berrytwist. I should never force you into a relationship with a former villain just to see you happy. Tell Fizzlepop that she's free to go, she can continued to be Twilight's Guard. I never realized how scary Twilight can be when she angry, I had already written it down to not angry her again. From Princess Celestia. "The wedding off." Spike said, Fizzlepop broke the hug that she shared with Spike and gave a huge smile. "That's great!" She said, the male dragon put on a fake smile. "Yeah, great." Spike said, the hornless unicorn didn't seem to catch his disappointment. Fizzlepop gave Spike a light kiss on his cheek, causing him to blush. The hornless unicorn gave him a smile and a wave goodbye, leaving the male dragon sitting alone under the oak tree. Spike looked towards the ground, letting out a soft sigh and feeling his cheek, the spot where Fizzlepop kissed him, smiling at the feeling of her lips against his cheeks, or the feeling where him and Fizzlepop shared a hug, feeling each other close to each other, there was nothing that Spike could do. He was in love with Fizzlepop Berrytwist. Fizzlepop felt strange, these strange feelings began to surface. She felt her heart begin to flutter, her cheeks heated by in a blush, when ever she is around the male dragon that she was about to get married too. Fizzlepop smiled, picturing Spike next to her, by her side. Wanting to feel his lips pressed against her, the slamming of the door, broke her out of her thoughts. The same thing that haunted her thoughts shook himself dry. The light rain pour that happen when the clock turn twelve in the the afternoon, soon turn into a heavy storm, pouring down on the small rustic town. "Hey Fizzle." Spike said, giving the hornless unicorn a nickname. "Hey Spike." Fizzlepop said, giving a smile to him. Spike sat down, his looked away, he shook his head. Making his claws into a fists, he turn to the beautiful hornless unicorn mare, with that graceful smile that she shined towards him, those lovely moderate opal coloured eyes, Spike swallowed the breath he didn't know that he was holding. "Fizzlepop I need to tell you something." Spike said, Fizzlepop tilted her head, she looked rather cute like that. "I think I love you." Spike said, finally feeling like he could breathe once again. "I don't know how I feel about you Spike, but I'm willing be with you. I want to learn about these strange feelings that I began to have for you." Fizzlepop said, Spike gave a smile.
