Here we go again.

Luna’s icy stare traced the back of Celestia’s neck, which was followed by a very un-healthy cough and a gruff voice imploring Celestia once again. “Hand me my meds.” Luna said, asshe had been suffering from a bitter winter cold, and she wanted the instant relief that came from her Mayberry leaves. Celestia turned, angry at her sister. “Those Mayberry leaves are horrible to your health, sister. They soothe you for a minute and make that cold worse the next. “ Celestia sighed, and lightly shoved her sister away. The Mayberry leaves were powerful drugs, and Luna knew it. It would put her on a immensely tall high, which she would she would create havoc on the poor citizens of Equestria, stealing their money and destroying their items. It was rather strange, and Celestia wondered when her sister was high and when she wasn’t, because Luna would hurt the citizens even off her meds.

Ignoring her sister, Luna shoved her sister to the side and snatched up the drug. “Bye bye!” Luna laughed and walked out the door. Celestia sighed, and checked the time. 8:00! She scrambled to her feet, just in time to see the start of her favorite human program, Regular Show.

Paying close attention to the plot of the show, Celestia noticed a specific trend between the two main characters. This particular show showed them sending various broken, mean, or annoying objects to the moon, thus getting rid of them for a while and getting them out of the way so the pair could continue their work. “Hmm….” Celestia thought aloud. In order to get those objects out of the way, there was a keyboard, which you slammed the keys and chanted. Feeling experimenty, Celestia decided to test out the keyboard method on her sister. IN the morning, that is. Celestia was tired after a long day of trying to steer her sister in the right direction.

With Celestia asleep, Luna cackled and when off to take the harmful drug at her favorite bar.
Ignoring the needy bows and helpless curtsies, Luna discreetly walked over to the entrance to the bar, which was hidden inside a dark alley. Greeting her friends inside the bar, Luna felt a bit of a relaxing aura pass over her. These ponies don’t care if I’m a princess or not.
Great! She giggled, and climbed on top of a stray table. “Hey everypony!” she shouted, and noticed that her long time crush, Vinyl Scratch, turned his head in interest. “I got some Mayberry!” The ponies cheered, and she proceeded to pass it out. Luna had faked the cough to get the drug, and Celestia was blind to it. While the ponies began to induce the drug in unhealthy amounts, Luna sheepishly trotted over to Vinyl, who was blasting some sort of dubstep and jazz combination. “Uh.Hehe...” she smiles at Vinyl who winked at her. “Hey Luna, what’s up?” he bathed the bag of Mayberry in his horn’s light, taking it from Luna and sniffing it up. “Want some?” she asked, smiling. “Yes..” Luna said, as Vinyl winked at her once more and beckoned her behind the turntables, so they could have some privacy. Losing a bit of control because of the drug, Luna giggled. Vinyl laughed crazily, and whispered into Luna’s ear. “Babe, I really like you. And I’m single. You connecting the dots?” Luna gasped and smiled. “Consider them connected, honey.” Then Luna blacked out, the drugs completely washing her senses out, and she barely remembered getting personal with Vinyl..

“WAKE UP!” An angry voice commanded from above. Luna’s hazy hangover eyes shielded her from seeing clearly, and she rubbed them. “Hold on….” Luna gasped. She got to her feet. “Celestia?” The angry ruler snatched up her little sister and she flew out of the club. But instead of condemning her to her room, like she always did, Celestia flew straight up, aiming for a large cumulus cloud up above. Luna wiggled free. “Get off me! You’re not the boss of me!” The two alicorns hovered in the morning air, the crisp feeling exhilarating up this high. “Luna, your ONLY chore that you have EVER had, EVER, is to raise the moon.” Luna’s face grew pale. “But instead of that, you chose to abuse your medicine, give it out to me most un-trustworthy ponies in all of Canterlot… And while you were at it, KILLED all of them! KIILED all the ponies that had taken that drug! Yep! That’s right! Your precious Vinyl Scratch as well, or at least he’s ALMOST DEAD. Luna was crushed, and I showed in her expression. Celestia was being especially cruel..That’s right, not everypony can take that strong drug like you can, Luna. YOU are an alicorn, the rest of Equestria is not.” Luna was silent, shocked by her careless actions. She replied. “Well…” Celestia sighed.

“I knew you wouldn’t be of any help to the tremendous decision I have just made. “Huh?” Celestia ignored her and stretched a nearby cloud out, working through its fibers to create a strong and durable string. “Remember this?” Celestia questioned Luna. Luna tilted her head in confusion. “Didn’t think so, you were not paying attention when I gave you this lesson.” Celestia smiled, and a somewhat eerie aura came over the two. Celestia lashed out, binding the fiber around Luna’s wings and horn, and adding one more on her mouth, gagging her. “I have given you chances, I have given you trials, and you have failed every one of them.” Celestia said, clearly disappointed, but also revenge cast a role in her eyes. In a swift movement of dark power and utter strength, Celestia brought her sister’s moon down, creating night once more. Her horn sparkled a great amount, causing Luna’s true form to come through.
“Nightmare Moon.” Celestia remarked, clearly unimpressed. The wicked mare laughed, and ripped free from her binds, the haunting ‘Rrrrriiip’ making Celestia flinch and Nightmare laugh. “Oh Celestia, I have waited all my life to let my inner ‘feelings’ out for you, hun.” Celestia snarled, and lunged at her sister. Celestia had loved her sister. And was horrified by what she was doing. She let one tear streak down her cheek for her, and sighed. Ignoring her feelings, she stabbed the mare with her horn, and hesitated for a moment.

The inner Luna was coming out, and her figure grew fuzzy for a moment. Celestia realized that the sister she knew and loved was coming back out, fighting the evil inside her. Celestia stopped for a moment, dumb-founded by what she had done. Nightmare moon was even more enraged, and the wicked mare had clearly shoved Luna and any thoughts of her back inside her dark soul. The two opponents drilled holes into each other’s skulls with their eyes.

Celestia sighed. There was no getting Luna back. Visualizing the keyboard, Celestia took the opportunity of the moment’s silence and she, visualizing the keyboard, teleported it to her, the bright blasts of purple and green light surprising Nightmare. “And what do you think you’re doing?” Nightmare protested, clearly curious.

The keyboard had fully appeared and Celestia placed each hoof on the shiny keys, readying herself. Celestia sighed and spoke in a calm, collected voice to her sister, in sharp contrast from the enraged and raspy voice from earlier. “Lun—Nightmare Moon, take a good look at the great and proud Equestria you see before your eyes, for it will be your last look for a while.” Nightmare moon laughed, sending a shock of white-hot magic shooting towards her sister. The burst crackled on the surface of Celestia’s coat, sending a flash of pain through her body, which was followed by a sound of raw anger and pain. “Nightmare! I—“ Celestia exhaled sharply, and with hooves resting on the keys, she shouted for all of Equestria to hear: “SISTER BE BETRAYIN’
SEND HER TO THE MOON!”
