The future of Canterlot was all changed one day. A powerful blast released magical energy around the world. Some got powers, like me. Others were struck with an odd sickness. Like my parents. Now I fight for a cure, and a future of hope.

Research about a new world had driven people to Canterlot. People like my parents, scientist working on cures for diseases. But some messed with the system, and caused a huge amount of energy to be released. I was one of the lucky ones. I received harmonized magic. But my parents contracted a sickness.

Now I have to find the cure, and save everyone that has fallen ill. The future of the world rests on my shoulders, but I'm not alone. I am building a team to not only find a cure, but stop The Network. I am Omega, and this is my story.

Two guards lay knocked out at me feet. "Looks like those helmets didn't do you any good." I reached down and removed the ammo from their rifles. "These won't help you anymore." I looked over the map that I got from the one guard. "So this is Network's project. But why would a lowly guard like you have this?" I pocketed the map, and walked up to the double doors. I kicked them open, and faced the armed guards.

"Stand down or we will be forced to shot."

I raised my hands. "Tell me something before you take me in. How is your sensitivity?" I flicked my wrists as a flash bang and smoke grenade shot out, and exploded. I rushed forward, and uppercuted the first guy with his own gun. I threw the next two into the separate walls. Kicked one guy where the sun don't shine. Finally I tornado threw the other two and used their guns to take out the lights. I kicked open the second set of double doors, and found a lone scientist.

"Ah!" I heard glass shatter as viles dropped.

I brought out my omega symbol, and changed it to a cross bow. "Turn around slowly, and no one gets hurt."

The person turned around. She had purple skin with her purple hair tied up in a bun. I could see tears in her eyes, behind her black rimmed glasses. Her hand were shaking. "Twilight?"

"Please help me."

"Ok. Just calm down and tell me-" Before I could finish speaking he walked in.

He had black hair, and gray skin. His eyes were as cold as steel in snow. He wore a black suit, and a sinister smile. "That's enough." He grabbed Twilight, and brought out a syringe. "Any closer and she gets a shot of the virus."

"Sombra. Why are you holding her captive?"

"As smart as most of my scientist are, they do not compare to her intellect." He gestured around the room. "With her knowledge, we can change the world."

"You mean releasing a bioweapon."

"This weapon will remove the weak, and let the strong ones live."

"Weak ones?" My finger twitched on the trigger, and I grounded my teeth. "Like my parents?"

"Seems as though I struck a nerve." He chuckled. "But I've had enough of this." He stuck the syringe in Twilights arm.

"Your willing to throw away lives for this?!?"

"Others yes, my own," He ran out of the room, and sealed the door. "Never." He continued to laugh, as he walked away.

I wanted to go after him, but Twilight's convulsing form brought me back from my rage. I ran around looking through the viles, for a cure or something. I had my back to Twilight when the laughing started. I turned to see a fearful sight. "Midnight Sparkle."

"I'm so glad you remember me." She grabbed me and threw me into a set of shelves. "I'm so glad I'll be the last thing you see." She dashed over, and grabbed me by the neck. "No wonder Twilight likes you. Such a phenomenon among mankind. A being that could suppress the magic and control it." She traced her fingers on my face. "Makes me sad I have to end you."

I looked over and saw one last vial with an experimental cure. I grabbed it. "Then maybe... you should... get a taste... of my other powers." I destroyed the bottle over my head. I put a hand on her stomach and forced her back. The formula draped into my skin as I cracked my neck. "Lets see what this cure can do." I changed my crossbow to a chain, and shot it behind her, grabbing a shelf.

"You missed."

"No I didn't." I pulled the shelf down, and brought it on top of her. "Bullseye." I walked up to her. I placed my hand on her forehead. "Lets get you back to normal." A green light emitted from my hand as Twilight returned to normal. "That's better." I lifted the shelf back up, and helped her up. "Now the let's-"

Before I could say anything else,Twilight wrapped me in a hug and thanked me perfucly. "Thank you so much Omega. I cant think of any way to pay you back."

"That's ok Twi. I just need the code for this place." I returned her hug, and then walked over to the computer.

"That has a 500 digit passcode. How are you-" I forced opened the main panel, and tore out the mother board. "What are you doing?!?"

"Grabbing the code. Now let's get out of here." I grabbed her hand and hightailed it out of there. We pasted by the knocked out guards. Twilight turned to me. "Before you ask me, I don't kill. They're just knocked out." We kept running until we reached a long glass hallway. Guards began running towards us. "Damn it."

"What do we do now?"

The guards kept coming towards us. I shot the windows behind Twilight. "Hope you trust me." I grabbed Twilight, and jumped out of the window. We were in a two story freefall before we landed on my car. The hovering car jumped up and down for a second. Twilight was on top of me.

"How did you survive that?"

"Just a bit of healing magic." We got off the car, climbed in, and ripped out of there. We pasted by the giant skyscrapers and clean sidewalks. My old rust bucket was defiantly a sore thumb. Security drones began chasing us, until we reached the connection tunnel. The bots stopped, and sealed the door behind us. I gunned the car, and got to the other side. "Welcome to the Scrums."

Twilight looked with shock and surprise. Old, dilapidated buildings and dusty lawns. People in tattered clothing cheered as I drove through the streets. We pulled into the one building that still had some character. "Welcome back to Canterlot High." The statue rose and I pulled into the elevator. We went down as I exited the car, followed by Twilight. The elevator stopped as a crew took the car away. "Try not to scratch it this time." We walked down the hall and entered... "the Underground." A giant circular center stretched above us. Multiple walkways traversed the room. I walked up to the next set of doors, but Twilight got stopped by one of the guards.

"Sorry ma'am. Can't let you through here."

"But I'm with Omega," Twilight tried to explain.

"We know, but you need to be cleared by the medical officers."

"Ok." Twilight walked away with the guards.

I walked inside and went to my quarters. I threw off my coat and collapsed on the bed. There was a knock at my door. "Come in."

A women entered my room. She had yellow and red hair, amber skin and teal eyes. She wore a shirt that covered her chest, a black leather jacket, jeans and combat boots. She had knock out round ammo boxes on arms. "Glad to see you make it back Omega."

"Yeah. Me too." I lifted part of my shirt, and looked at the fresh bullet wound. "Those guards have some terrible aim."

"Well when you knock them out, they have a hard time shooting." She walked up to me. "So you used up the emergency healing I gave you?"

"Lets just say a two story fall really does some damage."

"Let me guess, your only escape?"

"Yup. Guards surrounded us, but my car was under the window."

"Let me heal that then." She gave me a kiss, and healed up my wound. "So how did Twilight react."

"She was a bit off put, but went with it. After all, I did save her life. After... What happened."

"What do you mean?"

"You should ask her. If she isn't to afraid."

Twilight POV

The guards took me to a room that held a Cat Scan. "There's only a Cat Scan."

"This machine is much more than a Cat Scan. It will scan your biometric make up and health. Have to see what magic you have." With no other choice I laid down on the table. The machine scanned over me with alternating blue and green lights. After a few minutes the machine powered off, and I was rolled out. "Ok. Now you can get cleaned up and get to know your new life." The guards pulled me up, pushed me out the door, told me where the showers were, and shut me out.

"Ok." I walked to the showers, and entered the secluded room. The lights blinded me for a second. I blinked the light out of my eyes. The shower had a clouded glass door. The mirror was set up to the left, and it had a grid over it. I tapped on it and it came to life.

"Welcome to the Underground Twilight," said a robotic feminine voice. "Here we live in a society where everybody dose their part. Each person is given a specific job that fits their abilities and traits. We have found that you meet requirements for three jobs. Technology specialist, healer, and warrior."

"Warrior?!? But I'm no fighter!"

"Yet you somehow held off our best Warrior."

I stared at the screen. "I'll take the Technology Specialist."

"Thank you for choosing. One moment." The screen shut off and a part of the wall shot out. It opened up and revealed new cloths. A purple shirt, white lab coat, goggles, black dress pants, and combat boots. "Well here we go." I stepped into the shower, cleaned up, and changed into my new cloths. There was a 10 on my lab coat. I walked down the hall and saw the labels on the stairways. "Sector 10. Guess I'm there." I walked t up the stairs and through the doors. It was like a living room behind the door. A nice cozy place in the middle of a military style base.

I heard a chuckle behind me. "Welcome newbie." I turned to see an old face. She had pinkish skin with dark purple hair. She wore a teal shirt, black jacket, blue jeans, and combat boots. She had a knife on her leg and arm.

"Aria?"

"Glad to see you to Sparkle." She pulled out some gum and popped a piece in her mouth. "Omega give you a heck of a ride?"

"You could say that." I walked around the room. "When Sombra toke me during the beginning of this problem, I thought I would never see my friends again."

Aria punched my arm. "Well than, just live in the moment like I do now." She popped a bubble, and walked away. "So you choose to be a technician?"

"Yup."

"Cool. Our sector needed one. We just have warriors and healers here. Well with Omega being our leader, the rest falls to us."

"I don't think that's what he's doing-"

"Of coarse I know that. And he's been training all us Warriors." Aria walked into a kitchen.

"So where are the others?"

"Adagio and Sonata are with the other healers. Alpha and Omega are having a meeting right now, along with Sunset, and-"

"Wait, who's Alpha?"

"He's Omega's brother. He was on the other side of the country before the accident. He came here and the two of them became co leaders."

"Oh, so what now?"

"Well I think Pinkie and Sonata are planning your welcome party."
