By the time he turned 14 his loving aunt got him away from his abusive mother and took him in as her own son and would promise to love would cherish him forever like a real mother should.when he turned 16 he enrolled in Canterlot High school ready to begin his new life. What he didn't realize that his life is about to get a whole lot more crazier and he will also realize that he is meant for something far greater then he had ever imagined which is Love and THE MAGIC OF FRIENDSHIP
Hello everypony as you all know this will be my first story I have ever written in my life. I would also like to point out the I have Asperger Syndrome and that I have been bullied by many saying that I will never succeed. But I want to prove them wrong so this story will be based on the Equestria Girls time starting from the first movie. The OC name is Kyle Sanders a 16 year old boy in Canterlot High school which the equestria girls age will also be. Kyle will also have Asperger's he will also have several talents like Dancing (which in this story he will have made up his own dancing style)Martial arts and singing. He will also have the ability to adapt to other talents but he will have trouble socializing with others. But thanks to members of his family he will overcome it before he meets Twilight and the other Equestria Girls.
Also to the people who are in charge of deciding if this story gets published I hope it will get published but if it doesn't please tell me anything that I can fix in order for it to get published. Thank you.

Life has never been pleasant for me. Throughout my whole life I have been bullied, picked on, and abused. Whenever I wasn't being bullied at school I would be abused in my own home by my narcissistic mother who would always bring me down and make me feel completely worthless and unloved. Whenever I would become close to making friends even with kids my own age my so-called mother would tell them all sorts of terrible things about me like, I was a terrible spoiled child with a dangerous disability called Asperger Syndrome. Which, in case you didn't know, means having difficulty being able to socialize with others.
My mother would often say things like, "You will never make friends and you will be lonely all of your life. Now get used to it!" or things like, "You are completely worthless. The only reason I keep you around is because I get a lot of money out of you because of your disability."
But, the thing that she said that hurt me the most was when she would yell "YOU WILL NEVER BE LOVED YOU WILL GROW OLD AND DIE ALONE". Whenever she would say something like that it would hurt me so badly that I would run upstairs and cry into my pillow. There were many times when I wanted to end it all because I always thought that no one would ever love me.
On my 14th birthday, my Aunt Serena Sanders would come all the way from the city known as Canterlot to come and give me amazing gifts. My aunt was always loving and caring. She would even treat me like a son, which felt really good to me. When my aunt found out about the way my mother was treating me she immediately went to court to take me out of my mothers custody and place herself as my loving Guardian. When she took me back to her home in Canterlot she decided to take me out of school and spend 2 years helping me build social skills and finding me a talent that would suit me best. The first thing she tried was dancing, which was something she did when she was younger. I gave it a shot and danced to some random music which made me feel happier then I had ever felt in my whole life. While I was dancing I just did whatever came naturally. While I was dancing I felt like a was a whole new person. While I was dancing it was like I could cause any girl that came up to me to swoon, which also almost worked on my aunt.
My aunt said that she had never seen any kind of dancing like that before in her whole life. She said that my dancing is my own personal style, which could really impress the ladies. When she said that I blushed up a storm and continued on looking for any more talents. I tried singing one of her songs she wrote when she was younger as well and she was completely impressed by my voice. She said that she thought that with my imagination, I could write songs of my own.
I gave it a try and wrote my own song. By the time I finished it my aunt was totally in awe with my performance just as much as with my dancing. She asked if she could show my song to her friends, but I didn't agree. I was a little bit shy and I didn't want the attention of people who would only like me for my popularity and not for who I am. My aunt respected my decision and we decided to look for any other talents I might have.
I decided to try martial arts. Even though I was a beginner, I did really well in my first few months. After 6 months I had accomplished a lot with my newfound talents. I created many new moves that went really well with own dancing style. I also made many new songs based on my imagination. My aunt helped make all of the music for my songs and polished my lyrics as well. When it came to martial arts, I had already earned my black belt by the end my 2nd year of martial arts.
When I turned 16, my aunt decided that the time had come for me to enroll in Canterlot High School. At first, I wasn't too thrilled about the idea, but my aunt reassured me that I had nothing to worry about and that with my charm and chivalrous attitude I would make friends in no time. She even said that I would make a girlfriend sooner then making regular friends, which made me blush. So I said okay and decided to enroll in Canterlot High School.
My name is Kyle Sanders. I am 16 years old and this is the story of how my life was changed forever.
It was beautiful morning in the wonderful city of Canterlot as the birds chirped and sang a wonderful wake up song.
"Wow Morning sure does come fast these days." I said as I rose out of bed. As I got out of bed and put my blue slippers on, I headed downstairs
As I walked down the steps I could smell a wonderful breakfast being cooked. I could smell pancakes, bacon and even my favorite cheesy eggs.
"Looks like Auntie is making a wonderful breakfast today as usual." I said as I walked downstairs.
When I got to the last step I saw my auntie wearing an orange blouse with white jeans. She was also wearing a pink scarf around her neck because it was close to winter. She was wearing a pair of black Nike's because she wasn't really big about stiletto heels. Even though she was the owner of the famous Victoria's Secret which is the sexiest lingerie in the world. Even though I had never been inside one of her stores, I still admired her work when it came to designing clothes and lingerie. The money she earned was about 20 billion dollars a year, which led to a huge mansion with many facilities. (Which will be revealed later in the story.) Yes. That makes her the famous Serena Sanders.
"Good morning, Kyle. I hope you are ready for your first day of school" she said as I was springing down the stairs.
By the time I got down stairs I saw that everything that I thought my auntie was making was true. There was a round table with a blue and white flannel tablecloth with a plate on it with a three stack of chocolate pancakes, a side of fresh crispy bacon, along with cooked cheesy eggs with cheese cooked inside of them.
"Wow, Auntie! I can't believe you cooked this amazing meal as always, but something tells me that this meal is extra special." I said as I sat myself down and began to eat my meal.
"Well, you are starting your first day of school, which does make it exciting! Don't you think so?"
"I am still not sure about this, Auntie. What if I get bullied like in preschool, elementary, and middle school" I said.
"Don't worry about it, Kyle. With your chivalrous attitude I am sure you will make friends in no time." she said as she finished making her own breakfast.
"Well, I sure hope you are right, because I am still nervous about going to school after 2 years." I said as I was eating.
"I know It is scary, Kyle. But remember, not everyone is a bully. There are a lot of good people out there who will be very lucky to be friends with you." she said as she began eating her breakfast.
"Say, Auntie. Do you mind If I walk there? Because I would like to think about a few things before I go to Canterlot High School."
"Sure thing, Kyle. But be sure not to be late on your first day." she said as she was eating her breakfast.
10 minutes later
I was getting dressed for my first day of high school. I was wearing a blue silk shirt under a blue and dark plaid flannel shirt with brown jeans, while wearing white socks with blue tennis shoes. When I looked in the mirror I had to admit that I looked good wearing these clothes that my aunt made for me.
My room was very large. I had a huge flat-panel TV with my king size bed in front of it. I had an Xbox one and a PS4 hooked up to it with many games lying in the drawers. They were mostly single player games, like Shadow of War, since I didn't have any friends to play with on multiplayer games. There were also three steps in my room which led up to my Gaming PC and my gaming laptop which had many RTS games such as Planetary Annihilation. Finally, there was my huge balcony which had a swinging couch and a telescope. When it got dark you could see many stars at night. I looked around and I saw the many things that my loving aunt gave to me over the past 2 years.
I walked out of my room and said, "Well, how do I look?"
My aunt looked at me in awe and said "You look absolutely handsome!"
"Thanks, Auntie. I really appreciate all the things you have done for me."
"Don't worry about it, Kyle. It's what family members do for each other."
Tears rolled down my eyes the moment she said those words. I walked up to her and gave her a huge embrace.
"Thank you, Auntie. Thank you so much" I said, as I continued to cry into her shoulder.
"You're welcome, Sweetie. Just remember that you are always loved." she said as she hugged me.
"I will."
10 minutes later
As I walked out the door my aunt gave me my backpack which had all of the school supplies I needed for my classes and any other things I need for school. I gave her a hug goodbye, then I was off. Since Canterlot High was only 3 miles away, I reckoned it wouldn't take long for me to get there. As I was walking down the road out of the countryside and into the city many thoughts began racing through my mind. "How will I be able to make new friends?" "What if they reject me?" "What if history repeats itself?"
Then I said to myself "No, Kyle! Stop! Don't think like that! Thinking like that will get you nowhere!"
"I really need to learn to stop thinking so negatively. I really hope this school is as good as it says it is."
When I got to school I walked from the left side of it and I got a good look at it. It was a two story building with many school spirit flags on it. It had many windows and a pair of glass doors at the front entrance. When I got a good look at the school I had to say that it was the best looking school I have ever seen since middle school. When I turned my head I saw a huge white horse statue that stood in front of the school. That looked pretty cool to me.
"Well, I guess I can guess what the school mascot is for this school." I said.
All of a sudden there was a huge flash of light in front of the statue. I was startled and wound up falling straight on my ass. When the light started to dim I saw two figures come out of the statue. One of them looked like a purple dog with a spiked dog collar with no name tag on it. The other figure was a girl with lavender skin, long purple hair with a pink streak drawn into it. She also had moderate violet eyes. She was dressed in a cyan shirt with a red-violet bow-tie on the collar, a purple skirt with a glistening star symbol on it, and purple go-go boots with the same star design. I had to say that she looked beautiful.
"Whoa. What just happened?" I said quietly to myself in awe, wondering what just happened.
"Uh! Uh! Huh!" the girl said.
"Uh, Twilight?" the dog spoke.
All of a sudden my eyes went wide and my jaw drooped to the floor from what I just heard coming out of that dogs mouth!
"What the! Did that dog just talk!" I said still in shock from what I just saw.
"Huh, Spike? You're not supposed to be a, uh .... Spike are you a dog?" the girl stuttered.
"I think so, but I have no idea what you are."
"Huh!.......... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" she screamed.
I covered my ears from her screaming because I had to admit she could scream loud and I mean very loud! When she was done screaming I uncovered my ears and decided to listen in a little bit more. I then saw her look at her hands and began shaking them like she didn't know what they were or how to use them. She also began examining and freaking out about her fingers as if she didn't know what they were either. Then all of a sudden she began to hyperventilate.
The dog spoke again and said, "Twilight! You have to get it together!"
"So, Twilight is her name." I thought.
The girl named Twilight took a deep breath and said, "What does the rest of me look like?"
"Um, like you, but only not you! Your muzzle is really small!"
"Wait a minute! Muzzle? As in, like, a pony muzzle? This day just keeps getting weirder and weirder!" I thought to myself.
"My Muzzle?!?!" Twilight said.
As she was about to scream the dog, named Spike, went up, covered her mouth and said, "Are you gonna scream again?"
Twilight shook her head no and thanks goodness! Her screams were deafening.
"Where are we?" Spike said, as he and Twilight looked around like they were in a alien world.
"I don't know. But that might serve as a gateway back to Equestria." Twilight said.
When I heard the word Equestria I thought it meant just a plain old horse rider, but the way she said it sounded like she was from another world. Then she put her hand into the statue. It went right in and I could have sworn I saw a hoof on the other side!
"We need to find my crown as soon as possible and get back there!" she said with a determined look.
"I suggest we start by searching the castle first."
"Wait a minute! By castle does she mean the high school?" I though with a confused look.
"Works for me" spike said.
"Alright, lets go!" she said.
As Twilight began to walk, she got on all fours and Spike got on her back and she walked towards the front of the school like she was a pony of some sort. Then some stranger with a green sweater walking with a blue wiener dog looked at them like they were completely mental.
"Yeah! I don't think that's how the new you is supposed to..." Spike said.
Then all of a sudden Twilight got back on two legs again and waved at the person. The guy in the green sweater and the dog just shrugged it off and walked off.
"Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!" Twilight yelled.
I saw that she was about to fall. I rushed in and caught her just in time, holding her arms.
"Hey, are you okay?" I said in a calm tone after everything that just happened.
While I was holding her and as she got up I could have sworn I saw a blush on her face.
"Oh, uh, yeah. I'm fine! Thank you for asking." she said with a blush still on her face.
"Well, I'm glad you're alright! I heard someone screaming and decided to see if everything was okay. Well, it turns out everything is okay!" I said.
"Well, um, that was very sweet of you for doing that!" Twilight said.
"Hey, don't worry about it. Oh, I forgot to ask your name."
"My name is Twilight Sparkle. It's nice to meet you."
"Same here. My name Kyle Sanders. It's nice to meet you as well. " as I shook her hand which made her blush even more.
"Kyle, huh? That's a very unique name."
"I was about to say the same thing about you." I said.
Twilight's blush deepened even more. From what I can tell she definitely wasn't from around here. And as in not from around here! I mean not from this world. Same thing with her dog. I wanted to confront her about it, but that might be too soon, so I decided to play it cool until I got to know her a little bit more.
"So, are you a new student as well?" I asked.
"Oh, uh, new student? Wait, you mean this isn't a castle?" she asked with a confused look.
"If you mean by, a huge high school, then yeah, I guess you could consider it a castle." I said.
"So, this is a school?" she said.
"Yup, sure is. And today is my first day and I am assuming it is your first day as well?" I said.
"Oh, uh, yeah, first day! Yup, sure is!"
She was having trouble walking from what I could see. If my theory was correct, and she was a pony, she could use some help walking and learning how to use her hands as well.
"Well it was nice meeting you, but I am afraid I have to get going" she said.
As she began to walk up the stairs she began to fall again.
She fell again. I also caught her again, but this time I was holding her bridal style, which made her blush as red as a ripe tomato.
"Whoa there! Are you alright?" I said.
"Oh, uh, yeah, I'm fine, um, thank you for the save again." Twilight said with a deeper blush.
"No problem. But hey, I wanted to ask you are you sure you're okay? You look very weak in the legs. Did you suffer some injury or something?" I said.
"Uh yeah, I did have an accident from um, uh, um...." She looked at Spike but he didn't have anything to say either. "I got it from running. Yes, running. I tripped really badly and sprained my legs from my running, heh heh." she said while laughing.
I could tell that she was lying to me but it was understandable.
"I guess she doesn't want anybody to know where she is from." I thought.
"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. But I am more than willing to help you walk again."
"Well, um, thank you. I would really appreciate that." she said.
"Say, since we're both new to this school I suggest we should stick together" I said.
"Oh yeah. I would really like that, Kyle." Twilight said with a blush.
"Alright, then let's go." I said as I offered my arm to her.
Twilight didn't know what to do at first, but she then linked my arm with hers and we began to walk up the steps and into the school. I had to admit it felt kind of good escorting a girl into a new school. It also helped that she was new as well and also the fact that she was from another world, which made me a bit nervous. But the one thing I didn't realize was that meeting this girl would change my life forever.
As Twilight and I walked through the halls of Canterlot High I saw Twilight looking around at the other students like she was studying them. I had to admit that even though she was from another world she looked pretty attractive to me. but then I began to think about all the things my mother said to me over years and how every girl I meet treated me like a total freak. Even though my aunt says to not let people like them bring you down. How can I believe that when I have been told differently all my life.
"I hope this girl doesn't find out about my disability" I though.
" Hey Kyle you okay" Twilight said.
I then snapped out of my thoughts and said " Oh yeah I'm fine Twilight".
" I really appreciate you helping me out "
"Like I said no problem I enjoy helping others out and to tell you the truth your the first girl who hasn't....." I said
"oh crap I can't say anymore or she will find out!" I thought
" Who hasn't treated you like what?" Twilight said
" Oh um it's nothing" I said nervously
" Okay but If you ever want to talk i'm here" Twilight said.
I began to think that maybe this girl wouldn't care if I had a disablilty or not. So I decided to ask her something that would assure me that she is a caring person who wouldn't judge me for who I am.
" Say Twilight there is something I want to ask you but I'm not sure it is something you would like" I said in a sad tone.
" What is it?" Twilight asked.
"Are we um..........friends."
I then stood still looking at the ground thinking that scenario would turn out the same way it has through out my whole life the people who I would ask this question would just say " no way you loser would I be friends with a anti-social freak like you". then they would beat the shit out of me,spit on me, and walk away laughing at me with me tears pouring out of my eyes with bruises and cuts and everyone either walking away or just laughing at me. So Prepared myself for the worst but nothing could have prepared me for what she said next.
" Of course we're friends why wouldn't we be" Twilight said happily .
When she said that I looked at her like in shock and began to think " She really wants to be my friend?"
" You..... really want to be you're friend"I said weakly.
"Why wouldn't we be friends after the way you helped me." Twilight said
" Well it's just that nobody has ever wanted to be my friend before." I said in a sad tone.
" Why would anypony not want to be friends with you you're a really great guy." Twilight said.
" Well because you see people like me who choose to be different are treated like they are total freaks." I said.
" Why would anypony do such cruel thing to really nice guys like yourself" Twilight said in a comforting tone.
"It's just the way I have been treated all my life and also people saying I'm a bad guy and a freak" I said in a sad tone.
" Well just so you know we are friends and if you were a bad guy then why did you offer to help me and why did you help me walk the way you did; you're a good guy to me Kyle. " Twilight said with a comforting tone.
"Really" I said.
" Of course" she replied.
I then gave Twilight a huge embrace and said " Thank you Twilight you have no idea how much that means to me". I said while fighting back the tears.
" Oh um its nothing Kyle" She said while blushing.
I then realized what I was doing and let her go. When I looked at her I saw a huge blush like before and with a confused but happy expression on her face.
" Oh sorry about that I got a little carried away" I said in a nervous tone.
" Oh um it's alright, friendship is a very powerful thing to have" she said still blushing and in a shaky tone.
Then I realized that after what she just said that I had just made my first friend. And it felt good to finally have someone who sees me as a friend instead of an anti-social freak. I some how knew that his girl from another world would definitely make going to this school not so bad after all. I noticed that she said anypony instead of anybody which was probably apart of the fact that she was from another world. I then decided to help her adapt to our language.
" I agree, oh and by the way there's something I wanted to ask you?" I said.
" Whats that?" she asked.
"Why do you keep saying anypony instead of saying anybody?" I asked.
"Oh um well you see um it's kind of a thing me and my friends say where I'm from" Twilight said nervously.
"Oh well I think it's quiet a unique thing to say in a common conversation. But since you're new you may want to start saying anybody instead of anypony until you get used to this school. " I said.
"Oh okay right I'll try to start saying things like that from now on" Twilight said.
"Good for you now what say we continue to the principals office to get our schedules" I said.
" Oh uh alright sounds good to me" she said.
I then helped her latch her arm onto mine and then helped her walk to the principals office and I had to admit it felt good escorting a girl. it felt like I was doing a good deed and it felt even better that I was escorting a new friend especially a friend from another world. I began to wonder when I should confront her about it and I was worried I would drive her away by asking her about it. Then I decided that I should ask her about it when she gets more comfortable around me. while we were walking down the hallway I heard some people arguing and decided to investigate.
" Hey twilight do you hear that?" I said
" Yeah I do and it doesn't sound good" Twilight said in serious tone.
" Lets check it out" I said
We both looked around the corner and saw two girls one of them backed into a corner while another was intimidating her. One of the girls had red and yellow hair ,with a black leather jacket over a red-violet shirt with a shimmering sun design on it, an orange skirt, and black go-go boots. the other girl who was backed into a corner had long light pink hair while. She was wearing a white tank top, a light green skirt that had white and pink butterfly symbols on it, pink knee socks, and light green go-go boots. In her pink hair, she had one side held up by a butterfly shaped hair-clip. I wasn't sure if there was going to be trouble so I decided to listen to what they were saying.
"Oh um I'm sorry I just found it and I though I Should give it to her. I didn't know that you had dropped it " The pink haired girl said.
" Well I did! and I was about to get before you swooped in and ruined everything! You shouldn't pick up things that don't belong to you" The red and yellowed hair girl said.
"It... doesn't really belong to you, either" the pink haired girl said quietly.
" Excuse Me!?!" the red and yellow haired girls said angrily as she slammed her hand into the locker next to her.
"N-n-nothing..." the pink haired girl said a she sank to the floor completely scared.
" That's what I though it's as good as mine and you know it you really are pathetic it's no wonder your best friends are all stray animals" the red and yellow haired girl said.
When I first heard the way Red and Yellow haired girl talk to that pink haired girl I was really furious at her for picking on someone who is shy and timid and I could tell that twilight was also getting furious at what she was saying to that girl and I could even hear spike growling at her. The way she was intimidating her was just like the way my mom and the bullies I used to live with treated me. That was when I decided I had heard enough!
" HEY WHY WON'T YOU JUST BACK OFF AND LEAVE HER ALONE!" I said in an angry tone.
The red and yellow haired looked behind her and saw me. I wasn't going to lie this girl scares me but I wasn't going to put up with queen she bee of a bully like her.
"oh really and who are you supposed to be" The red and yellow haired girl said.
I then got in front of the pink haired girl and said "someone who is going to make sure you leave this girl alone"
" How dare you do you even know who I am!" she said in a angry tone.
" am I supposed to know" I said in a mocking tone.
" Oh a tough guy well I know how to make tough guys like you break" She said as she was walking up to me.
" How dare you speak to them that way!" Twilight said.
I look at Twilight like it was a sight I had never seen before no one has ever stood up for they would just walk away and not even help me at all and just leave me to be beaten. I then realized that this girl really mean't what she said when she wanted to be my friend.
"Wow I guess she really is a friend" I Though.
" What Did you say?" the red and yellow haired girl said as she turned around.
" I said- how dare you speak to them that way" Twilight said walking up to sunset
I then saw the red and yellow haired girl and twilight stare angrily at each other the the red and yellow haired looked back at and then smiled wickedly at me and then smiled Twilight.
"You two must be new here." The Red and yellow haired girl said as she to her finger and messed with Twilight's chin.
"I can speak to anyone to anyway I want." She said in a bullying tone.
She then looked at other students intimidatingly as the other students shook in fear she even got a guy to lock himself in a locker to avoid her. I was glad that girl was gone I was getting fed up with her behavior. I then turned around and kneeled down and looked at the pink haired girl to make sure she was okay.
" Hey are you okay." I said in a comforting tone.
The Pink haired girl then looked at me in awe as she stood up with a blush on her face and said " Oh um I'm... um thank you i'm fine thanks helping me out back there I um really appreciate what you did for me back there".
" hey don't mention it." I said.
"Hey Kyle is she okay." Twilight said running up to me.
" Don't worry about it Twilight I think she's fine" I said
" I can't believe you two did that." the pink haired girl said.
"Well I couldn't just stand there." Twilight said
" and neither could I" I said.
" Well, it's just that nobody ever stands up to Sunset Shimmer." The pink haired girl said.
"Sunset Shimmer!?" Twilight said in shock
" So that's her name." I thought.
" You heard of her?" The pink haired girl said.
" Sort of...." Twilight said.
" I don't think I have ever seen you two around here before. Did you two just transfer to Canterlot High from another school?"
I knew that twilight was from another world and I knew that I had to act fast so that nobody would get suspicious.
"um...."
" YES we are, were both new here and were both sticking with each other to help find our way around the school since we're both new and all" I said while winking at Twilight who had both a cute and confused expression on her face.
" Yeah Kyle's right we're both new here. Anyway my name is Twilight" Twilight said.
" And my name is Kyle what's your's" I asked.
I saw the girl look down at the ground and I could tell both from experience and from what just happened with Sunset Shimmer that this girl was really shy. I then knew just how to approach her.
" I'm.... Fluttershy" The Pink haired girl said quietly.
" Fluttershy huh That's a very cute name." I said.
"Wait I didn't catch that. Kyle do you know what she said her name was." Twilight asked.
" Yeah she said her name was Fluttershy" I said.
" Wait Fluttershy but how is that even...." Twilight said.
"Oh my goodness who's this sweet guy?" Fluttershy said in a sweet tone.
Before Twilight could say more, I saw Fluttershy look at Spike then she totally lost her shyness and rushed straight towards him, almost making Twilight trip.
" I guess it's not hard to tell that this girl loves animals" I thought.
That's Spike! my uh... dog!." Twilight said.
Fluttershy then grabbed Spike by cheeks and said "Oh he's so cute!"
I then saw Fluttershy grab her backpack and picked out some dog treats and put out her hand to Spike.
" Go on, eat up, little pup!" Fluttershy said.
Spike then decided to take a bite out of treat and tasted it after a few seconds he then ate the whole treat in one bite

When she said that was when my theory started to prove even more correct; that she and Spike were definitely from another world.

"Oh,Uh nothing! never mind. Sunset Shimmer said you picked something up; something that belonged to her. It wasn't a crown was it? " Twilight said.

" Uh lucky guess; do you still have it?" Twilight asked.
" Umm umm" Fluttershy said as she shook her head no .
" But do you know what happened to it"
"Umm hmm this morning, I was passing out flyers for the animal shelter like I do every Wednesday "
Then Fluttershy started explaining how she found this crown and how it came out of nowhere. I had no idea why Twilight was so interested in this crown but it sounded really important to her. I still had no idea why she was in this world in the first place so I began to wonder how this crown was somehow connected to being here in the first place.
" I had no idea how it got there. But I didn't want anything to happen to it, so I decided to give it to Principal Celestia." Fluttershy said while rubbing Spikes head.
"Principal Celestia? She's the ruler here?" Twilight asked.
"You could say that. Technically she and Vice Principal Luna do make the rules." Fluttershy said.
" Where is she now?" Twilight asked.
" I would like to know as well, since Twilight and I need to get our schedules for the semester." I said.
"Oh she's probably in her office" Fluttershy said.
Then Twilight and Spike both ran in different directions while I just stood there in confusion. Then twilight just walked back probably to ask her more specific directions. but the it looked like Fluttershy knew what she was going to ask.
"Third door on your left." Fluttershy said.
"Thank you" Twilight said.
"Yeah Thanks Fluttershy" I said as I walked away
"Oh Wait!" Fluttershy said
Then all three of us turned around wondering what else she wanted to say.
"You're not really supposed to bring pets onto school grounds. Might wanna tuck him into your backpack that's what I do." Fluttershy said.
I then saw Fluttershy turn around and saw three animals pop out of her backpack. One of them was a white bunny the other one was a white cat who also had a blue bow on it's head. The last one was a small red bird. I was starting to see why this girl works for an animal shelter she must really care about animals to go out of her way to help them in their time of need.
" They get so lonely when I'm at school all day" Fluttershy said.
"Oh okay! Thank you!" Twilight said.
Then I heard the bell ring which probably meant that class was about to start soon.
" Oh no I'm late for class!" she said as she scooped up her animals and ran off.
" Well then we better get going if we're gonna wanna get those schedules" I said.
"Oh right schedules sure lets go then I guess" Twilight said as she was looking away from me.
"Hey Twilight are you okay, you sound a little nervous" I said.
" Oh don't worry it's nothing I'm just a little bit rushed for time that's all" Twilight said.
" May I ask why" I asked wanting to know more.
"I'm afraid I cant say I'm sorry" Twilight said while walking away.
" Well okay if you don't want to talk about it that's fine but if you ever want somebody to talk to i'm always free to listen." I said.
"Thanks Kyle I really appreciate that well lets go get that crown.... I mean schedules. " Twilight said.
While we were walking towards the principals office I heard a quiet but familiar voice.
" Please Flash just leave me alone I'm going to be late for class." The voice said.
I then realized that voice was Fluttershy's and it sounded like she was getting bullied again. I couldn't tell if it was Sunset Shimmer or not so I decided to see If she was okay. "Hey Twilight there's something I need to check up on" I said.
"Is everything okay Kyle." Twilight said.
"Oh yeah everything's okay, I just need to check up on something, I'll see you in a bit." I said as I ran off.
"Alright I'l see you later Kyle" She said as she waved at me.
I then ran towards the place where I heard Fluttershy's voice. As I turned the corner I saw that she had her back towards a locker with a guy standing in front her. This guy had blue hair with a white shirt that had a shield and lighting bolt on it, with a black jacket, blue jeans, and black tennis shoes. And judging from his appearance he looked like a nice guy but looks can be deceiving.
" Please Flash I told you I'm not interested in you so please just leave me alone" Fluttershy said.

Suddenly I realized the time and began to walk away "Oh crap I better get going, Twilight will have a tough time walking if I'm not there to help her like I promised... so I'd better hurry" I said as I was walking off.

I turned around and began to walk back to the principals office to meet up with Twilight. Wow, this day has just been one huge roller coaster for me. One minute I'm helping out a girl from another world then I'm saving a girl from being bullied twice and by two different people all in the same day. Regardless, I met some new people, and most important I made a new friend, my first real friend. I guess going to school might not be so bad after all.
As I was walking back to the principal’s office to meet up with Twilight and get my schedule. As I continued my way through the hallways I saw the principal’s office ahead of me. All of a sudden I saw Twilight step out with a concerned expression on her face.
" Hey Twilight,” I said as I waved to her.
" Oh hey, Kyle, is everything okay? Why did you walk off like that?” Twilight asked.
" Everything’s fine, Twilight. I just ran into a little trouble that’s all, and I’m sorry I made you worry and also I’m sorry the way I left you like that,” I said while looking down.
Twilight came over and put her hand on my shoulder. " It’s okay Kyle. I know you didn’t mean any harm. You were just trying to help her that’s all.” Twilight said.
" Thank you for understanding Twilight... Oh, I almost forgot I need to get my schedule from the principal. " I said.
" Hold on Kyle, there’s no need to worry about that. I told Prince... I mean Principal Celestia that you were new here as well so I convinced her to give your schedule to me so I could hold it for you.” Twilight said. She reached into her backpack and gave me a piece of paper with all my classes on it.
" Wow, thanks, Twilight! That really gives me some relief and speaking of schedules did you get yours?” I asked.

" You really mean it even though we’ve only known each other since this morning?” twilight said.

“But that’s the problem. I don’t have any idea how I’m going to do it. I can’t even find my way around this school, not to mention even walking on my own.” Twilight said.
I could tell how frustrating it must be not to be able to do things on her own and always having to rely on others to do things for her. Since I’ve been through that many times in my life I felt I I just couldn’t let her do this on her own so I knew what I had to do.
" Twilight, since this means so much to you I would be glad to help you become Princess of the Fall Formal” I said.
" You really mean it?” Twilight asked.
“Oh course Twilight” I said.
Then everything fell silent for a moment and Twilight looked at me with a shocked expression on her face. I hoped I didn’t say anything that would offend her after all. Then all of a sudden I felt a pair of arms wrapped around me and I could hear Twilight whispering to me.
" Thank you Kyle, you have no idea how much this means to me.” Twilight said happily. She then noticed what she was doing and let go.

" Hey no problem at all. So how are we going to get you a Princess of the Fall formal and help you win that Crown as well?” I asked.
" Well, we can’t do this by ourselves. We’re going to need help and I think I know who can help us.” Twilight said.
" Who?” I asked.

" Really? How come Fluttershy?” I asked.

“She called me that again does she really consider me to be her friend” I thought.
In all my life I never had a friend before, especially when I tried to make a friend myself. They would just say that I was nothing more than a pathetic freak who would never make a friend at all. Even my mother, who was supposed to care for me, never even said that she loved me, much less being a friend. The only reason why she tried to keep me was because of the financial benefits she got from my disability.
Even though Twilight said she was my friend I was still afraid that this was all just a lie and everything would just go back to the way it once was where everybody treated me like shit and living my life as a mistake. But there was a part of me saying that this wasn’t a lie and this was all real, while the other part of me was saying how can I make friends even though throughout all my life I’ve been told I couldn’t make friends.
All of a sudden I began to daydream(more like day nightmare) about my life back in Las Pegasus. I was alone and when I looked around everything was dark and I couldn’t see anything. After all the other shadows began to yell at me as well I began fall back onto my knees and began to cry even harder. As I begged and begged for them to stop, they just kept on insulting me and making me feel more and more bad about myself

I could still hear those kid’s voices in my head and my mother’s and after years of torment by them I began to believe that I really was worthless and that I was nothing more than a mistake. That I was just meant to be alone for the rest of my life and that I would grow old and die alone. Then all of a sudden I heard Twilight’s voice which snapped me out of my “daymare”.
“Kyle are you okay?” Twilight asked.
“Huh? Oh yeah, sorry about that Twilight. I just blanked out for a second.” I said nervously.
“Oh, well okay, we better get going. I don’t think we wanna miss our chance to get help from Fluttershy.”
" Alright then let’s go”. I said.
I offered my arm for Twilight which she accepted and we began to look for the cafeteria.
“Hey Kyle?” Twilight asked.
“Yeah?” I said.
“If there’s something bothering you you can always tell me. " said Twilight.
“I can assure you Twilight, it’s nothing, but thanks I really appreciate that.” I said.
We began to search the school for the cafeteria, which didn’t take long since we saw most of the students headed to a large room. When we got there we saw this huge room with several flags hanging above the cafeteria walls along with many tables filling the whole room.
As Twilight and I began to search the cafeteria for Fluttershy I noticed something strange. I saw many students in groups which looked like stereotypical kind of teens like actors, Eco’s, and jocks. This didn’t surprise me that much that much since in every high school there ought to be many different kinds of groups.
I took a good look around and I wasn’t able to see Fluttershy here. I was starting to worry that she wasn’t here.
“I don’t see her here Twilight. Maybe she didn’t come to lunch.” I said.
“She could still be here. How about we split up. I’ll look around where they’re serving food.” Twilight said.
" Alright then. I’ll cover the far end of the cafeteria” I said.
When she let go of my arm her legs began shake a bit and I was a little concerned whether she could walk on her own.
“Are you sure you’re going be alright Twilight?” I asked.
" Oh don’t worry. I’ll be fine I hope. I’m just still having trouble with my uh...injury.” Twilight said nervously. Even though she was able to hide her true intentions from me pretty well I could still tell that she was lying which was understandable, but it only proved that my theory about her was correct and that she really wasn’t from this world or dimension. I don’t really know. I still wanted to ask her about it but the time still wasn’t right so I decided to leave it be just for a bit longer.
" I wonder if she really is from another world?” I thought
" Well we better get searching. If either of us finds her we’ll meet back here.” Twilight said.
" Got it” I said as I walked off. When I began to search the cafeteria for Fluttershy at the far end of the cafeteria I began to wonder if any of this was real. Is this all just some dream and that when this dream is over will I wake back up into the nightmare of a reality I was in when I lived with my mother in Las Pegasus? Even though I tried my best to make myself realize that I was not the person my mom always said I was and that I really was a good person not a pathetic mistake. But in the back of my mind I still felt those harsh words she said about me long ago.
" Come on you shouldn’t listen to her. You are not pathetic.” I thought.
As I continued to look around the cafeteria for Fluttershy I overheard some guys laughing and pretty loudly I might add. As I looked towards the table where it was coming from I saw four guys drooling over the magazines they were looking over. When I took a closer look I saw that each of the magazines was just dirty porn magazines which really disgusted me even though I had looked at a few Playboys myself in my lifetime. But I also knew that there was a difference between fantasy and reality.
I was just about to walk away and move on until I heard the things that they were saying.

“Oh... It’s nothing Twilight. I was just lost in thought again that’s all.” I said as I put my hand on her shoulder.
" Okay. Well, like I said, we better get moving. I don’t want to lose Fluttershy. We’re going to need all the help we can get if I wanna get that crown.” said Twilight.
I smiled at Twilight’s enthusiasm as she reminded me of my aunt back when she was helping me recover from my abuse. She was always kind, loving, generous, and never gave up. She was the one who helped me get away from my mother and helped me overcome my depression. But there some memories that just don’t go away.
I kept telling myself that “I am getting better and I am a better person.” but another part of me was saying that “I will always be a freak and I will never make friends.” I know that my aunt says that I am not a freak and that I would make friends. But the experience that I have gone through most of my life tells me otherwise and how could years of pain overcome the few years I had with my aunt telling me otherwise.
But then here I was helping a girl from another world trying to get some crown that she wants so badly and the strangest thing of all is she called me something that I have never been called before, "friend”, which is something that I always wanted in my life. Even if it was just one friend it would be enough for me.
While I began to day dream again I felt someone shaking my shoulder.
" Kyle.... Kyle.... Are you there? Hello Kyle!” Twilight yelled.
I shook my head to get out of the daydream I was in " Huh? Oh sorry, Twilight. Did you say something?” I said.
" Yeah, I was trying to tell you that we should get moving and find Fluttershy.” She said annoyed.
" Sorry I was just trying to figure somethings out.” I said looking down at the floor.
I could tell from the expression she had on her face that she didn’t buy it. Her expression changed from annoyed to concern. Then she put her hand on my shoulder.
" Kyle, please tell me what’s wrong.” She said.
I didn’t want to tell her about my past or why I’m so confused about having a friend. Well, not yet at least. We’ve only know each-other for a few hours and I didn’t want to depress her with my past.
" It’s nothing, Twilight. I was just trying to get something out of my head that’s all.” I said rubbing the back of my head.
" Kyle, please. I can tell something is bothering you. Please tell me. I can’t have you daydreaming while we’re trying to win that crown and besides we’re friends after all.” Twilight said in a concerned tone.
“Did she really call me a friend again?”
I thought she would just brush it off but she really seemed to care about me and other than my aunt no one has ever expressed much interest in me. " Maybe she really does consider me to be her Friend.” When she called me her friend again I felt like I was hit with a lighting bolt twice and I felt like she deserves to know about my past after everything that happened today, but now wasn’t time for me to be telling her about my past.
“..... Alright yes, Twilight, there is something bothering me and it’s something that has been haunting me for many years. But I can’t tell you now because I don’t want to talk about it in public but when we have some privacy I promise you I will tell you about it.” I said.
" All right, but please promise me you’ll talk to me about when we are alone.”
" I promise.”
Twilight smiled, " Thank You Kyle.”
I offered my arm to her. " Well we better get moving and find Fluttershy.”
Twilight then hooked my arm around hers and we began to look for Fluttershy. As we went to the lunch counter we saw several students looking at us with mixed expressions which I didn’t pay much attention to. But I could tell from the looks on their faces that some of them were thinking why someone like me would be with a beautiful girl like her. I decided to just ignore it and to let it go. I didn’t want to get angry again like when Flash started bragging about how much of a dirt bag he is.
Twilight nudged my arm a bit.
" Look! There she is!” Twilight said point towards Fluttershy.
She was at the end of the lunch counter and judging by her tray she looked like she was a vegetarian.
" Well, here goes nothing.” Twilight said.
We both picked up our trays to get our own lunch as we moved down the line towards Fluttershy. Twilight looked a little hesitant at first to talk to her. But she just went right for it.
“Excuse me. Fluttershy?” Twilight said.
Fluttershy looked back towards us while she was getting her lunch and smiled when she saw us.
" Oh hi, Twilight. It’s good to see you.” Fluttershy said.
She looked past Twilight, saw me and started to blush.
“And it’s good to see you too, Kyle.” Fluttershy said hiding behind her hair.
" It’s nice to see you too Fluttershy but there’s something Twilight here wants to ask you. " I said.
“Really? What is it” Fluttershy asked.
I saw Twilight looking at me like she still had some doubts about asking Fluttershy for help but I nodded at her telling her that it was okay
" I know we just met but I was wondering If you could help me with something?” Twilight asked as she was getting her food.
" Of course. " Fluttershy said.
“I’ve decided to run as Princess of the Fall Formal and...”
Fluttershy cut her off and spilled some juice on Twilight’s shirt. “Gasp! Oh Gosh!" She grabbed a handful of napkins and tried to clean off all the juice that was spilled on Twilight. That looked kind of awkward and I could see that some of the students were thinking the same thing.
“Sorry. It’s just, oh running for Fall Formal Princess is a REALLY bad idea” Fluttershy said as finished cleaning Twilight.
“Why?” Twilight asked.
" Because Sunset Shimmer wants to be Fall Formal Princess and when she wants something, she gets it! She’ll make life awful for anyone who stands in her way.” as Fluttershy and Twilight got their food I just simply got a hamburger and a fruit bowl and quickly caught up with them.
As for this Sunset Shimmer at first I thought she was just another evil bully diva always trying to get her way. But judging by how she thinks, she’s “ruling” this school like an evil tyrant. It just sickened me that a girl like her is bossing everyone around like that, especially the way she treated Twilight and Fluttershy.
“Why would principal Celestia even allow a girl like her into a school like this? But I guess this place really isn’t that different from where I grew up.” I thought.
" Just ask the girl who ran against her for Princess of the Spring Fling.” Fluttershy said.
“I have to try!” Twilight said.
“Oh, I don’t think you understand. You’d have to convince everyone here to vote for you instead of her: the Athletes, the fashionistas, the Dramas, the Eco Kids, the Techies, and the Rockers.” Fluttershy said.
“Called it!” I thought.
" Why is everypony...” Twilight started then her pet dog Spike slapped the back of her head. ”Uh, everybody separated this way?” Twilight asked.
" Maybe it was different at your old school, but at CHS, everybody sticks to their own kind. One thing that they do have in common is that they know that Sunset Shimmer is going to rule the school until we graduate.” Fluttershy said as we sat down.
“Oh yeah! Well, not if I have anything to say about it!” I said standing up.
When I stood up Fluttershy just yelped and Twilight just stared at me.
I rubbed the back of my head in embarrassment. ”Sorry about that” I said sitting down. " It’s just that I cant stand people like Sunset Shimmer who think they’re entitled to anything they want and think they can treat people like crap and get away with it. Well, I’m not gonna let it happen anymore!” I exclaimed.
Judging by their expressions, both Twilight and Fluttershy were looking at me in awe.
" Wow Kyle! That’s really brave of you.” Twilight said.
“Yeah it really is. I still can’t believe you stood up to Sunset Shimmer for me.” Fluttershy said.
“Well, like Twilight said, I couldn’t just let Sunset talk to you like that. It is just disgusting and why would she pick on someone as kind and gentle as you in the first place?” I said.
Fluttershy stared blushing and began hiding behind her hair again " Man, is it just me or is every girl I talk to getting feverish all of a sudden.” I said.
“Well, um, as you can probably tell I can get pretty shy around people, especially when it comes to boys” Fluttershy said.
“Really, then how come you’re not that shy around me?” I asked.
Fluttershy then took a deep breath” Well, let’s just say that boys like me but not in a way that I like.” Fluttershy said.
I think i kind of understood where Fluttershy was coming from. When Flash was sexually harassing Fluttershy and probably a lot of other male’s did too I could see how it would be hard For Fluttershy to trust any guy. ” I guess I should consider myself lucky that Fluttershy Isn’t afraid of me.”
I then felt Twilight nudge my arm a bit telling me that we were getting a bit off track.
“Oh, sorry about that Twilight” I said.
“It’s fine Kyle. So Fluttershy I wanted to ask you, where can I find the head of the Fall Formal Planning committee?”
After Twilight finished that question Fluttershy went from cute and quiet to angry and quiet.
“You’ll probably find her in her in the gym getting decorations put up or trying to ruin the fall formal.” Fluttershy said with a hitch in her voice.
“Why would you say that?” I asked.
“Because she doesn’t take anything seriously and she’ll probably ruin Twilight’s chances for trying to win Fall Formal.” Fluttershy said.
“Okay, well, thanks for telling us.” I said.
“We better get going and find her so I can sign up.” Twilight said.
I started to get up and I was about to offer Twilight my arm so we could head off to the gym.
“Wait.” Fluttershy said standing up. ”Oh sorry, Twilight. I was wondering if i could talk to Kyle just a little bit before you two leave?” Fluttershy asked.
" Sure but may I ask why?” Twilight asked.
“I just... Wanted to ask him a few things if that’s okay with you, of course” Fluttershy said while hiding behind her mane a bit.
I looked at Twilight wondering what she was going to say and to tell you the truth I was expecting the worst. Like she would get angry or something or my bad luck just finally caught up to me. So I just stared at Twilight getting mentally prepared for what was about to happen.
“Sure, it’s just fine with me” Twilight said.
“Okay that is not what I'd expected.” I thought.
“Are you sure you’re gonna be fine walking on your own Twilight?” I asked.
“I’ll be fine. I think I'm starting to get used to walking on my own now. "
" Alright. I’ll meet you outside the cafeteria when I'm done talking with Fluttershy.”
Twilight smiled and waved goodbye to Fluttershy and exited the cafeteria.
" So Fluttershy, what is it you wanted to ask me” I asked.
" I um, just wanted to thank you again for stepping up to Sunset and Flash. It really means a lot to me.” Fluttershy said.
I chuckled, ”Well, I’m just glad I could help out a girl in need, especially one as cute as you” I said.
Fluttershy hid her face behind her hair again and started blushing even harder than before. ”Do.. Do you really think I’m cute?”
“Sure, after all it’s like I said. You show a rare kindness that I hardly see these days.” I said as I winked at her.
“Wow! Um, thank you Kyle. I never really ever got this kind of attention from a boy before.” Fluttershy whispered.
Even though she was whispering I could still hear her pretty well. Even though I've know her for only four hours I can tell that she's really shy, which wasn't really hard to figure out but that can also be a very cute trait in some girls. Then a question at the back my head was starting to bother me a bit.
"So Fluttershy, before I go do you mind if I ask you something really quick?" I asked.
"Sure, what do you want to know?" Fluttershy asked.
"When I helped you with Flash what did he mean when he said he can get any girl he wants?" I asked.
After I asked that question Fluttershy's mood turned kind of depressed as she looked away a bit.
"Oh, I'm sorry I brought that up. I didn't mean to make you sad and if you don't want to talk about it that's alright." I said.
Fluttershy turned her head back towards me. " Um, it's okay. But if you really want to know then I guess I should tell you." Fluttershy said.
" What do you mean?" I asked.
" That Flash is an evil, sadistic, perverted, brow-beater!" Fluttershy yelled.
After she said that she instantly covered her mouth even though I've heard dirtier words coming from my mothers mouth.
" "Gasp!" I'm so sorry. It's that I never use that language and if I said those words my parents would get really angry with me." Fluttershy said looking down.
" Wow she's lucky she has parents who taught her not to curse. I really wish I had a mother who would condemn cursing."
"Hey, don't worry about it. I've heard dirtier things come out of my mom's mouth." I said.
" What really? She never told you that cursing is bad?" Fluttershy said.
"Well.... no. But I did learn on my own that saying those kind of things are extremely wrong." I said.
" Wow! So why didn't your mother teach you that cursing was wrong?" Fluttershy asked.
I didn't want to reveal my past to Fluttershy because I feared that if I told her or even Twilight they would both be afraid of me and hate me for the rest of my life and I would lose the only friends I've ever had.
"Well, how about I tell you about it some other time?" I said.
"Oh... okay then. But if you ever want to talk about it I'm always free to listen." Fluttershy said.
I stood up and sighed, "Thank you Fluttershy. I appreciate that." I said.
"No problem at all. I guess I'll, um, see you around the school?" Fluttershy asked.
"You probably might. After all, I am a new student here. Well, I better get going and help Twilight find the gym so she can sign up." I said as I stood up.
" Okay. Um, well, I hope I'll see you soon." Fluttershy said.
" I hope so too," I said.
I waved goodbye to Fluttershy and walked back out of the cafeteria to go and find Twilight. I still couldn't believe that I made two new friends in one day. That may not be a lot to others but to me, it was a huge deal. I never had any friends as I was growing up in Henderson. But something in the back of my mind was telling me that this was all just an illusion. I tried my best to ignore it but it just wouldn't go away.
