A purple unicorn wearing a blue cape with purple stars on it and a pointy hat with a purple star and five white stars around it is standing on the roof of a building. Beside her, a purple dragon with no wings is looking up at the sky along with the unicorn. In the sky, the sun and the moon are floating side by side each other.



What's going on here? Why is the sun and the moon out at the same time? What am I doing in Manehattan?


The purple unicorn  noticed 13 other ponies on different rooftops. Then suddenly, 26 blue and black cards started to fall from the moon and 26 yellow and white cards started to fall from the sun.


What are these cards? What doe this all mean?



A voice said "Twilight. Twilight. Twilight Sparkle, it's time to get up."







The purple unicorn, or Twilight Sparkle as she is called, is asleep in her bed as her mother. Her mother then walked away for a moment and came back with a trumpet. She then started playing the trumpet in the room and this caused Twilight Sparkle to wake up.


Twilight said as she got up and had her ears covered from the trumpet playing"Ok, ok, I'm up, mom. Please don't do that; I have an alarm."


Her mom said noticing the alarm is broken since it shows 5:45 am when she knows it is not that time"Honey, I think your alarm is broken."


Twilight asked "What time is it?"


Her mom responded "7:15 am."


Twilight shouted as she quickly go out of bed to get ready "What!? I'm going to be late."


Her mother said "Calm down sweety. School doesn't start until 8 and the distance to the campus isn't that far. Besides, it's the last day of school and I'm sure they won't be mad if your late."


"Mom, I one of the élite students at Canterlot Academy who has a perfect attendance record; that means something."


"I know, dear. Just remember, when you get back we're going to talk about our vacation plans."


"Ok."


Twilight Sparkle ran downstairs into the kitchen and grabbed some bread, an apple, and brown paper bag that has her lunch; while she's doing this, her father is doing the crossword puzzle.


"Bye dad; see you later."


Bye sweety.


My name is Twilight Sparkle. Those were my parents, Night Light and Twilight Velvet. I have a big brother, Shining Armor, too; he attends college in Fillydelphia. I am a junior(soon to be senior after summer vacation) at Canterlot Academy and I'm one of the top students there for my perfect attendance and my papers on the evolution of modern magic.


Twilight had finally arrived at Canterlot Academy but noticed that no one was out and began to worry that she's later than she originally thought. When she arrived in her homeroom, only two ponies were there and they were her friends: Moondancer and Minuette.


Twilight said to the two unicors "Moondancer. Minuette. Are you the only ones here?"


Minuette said "Looks like it."


Moondancer said "We've seen other students, but not many; however, the entire senior class isn't here."


Minuette and Moondancer. Two of my closest friends since we were in magic kindergarten. Minuette is the fun one of our group and likes to throw music parties at her house. Her favorite treat is doughnuts; some of us think she has a problem with them since she goes to the doughnut shop four times a week. Moondancer, if I had to choose, is my best friend. We both have a lot in common when it comes to our studies and we have the same level of intelligence. I just wish she could be recognized as an élite student like I am; she's just as good as me.


Twilight asked "What about Twinkleshine, Lemon Hearts, and Lyra; have they shown up yet?"


Minuette explained "Twinkleshine said that she was going to skip the last day of school, Lemon Hearts had to leave for Baltimare because her grandmare is sick, and Lyra just left a note saying "I've met the love of my life. Will see you all after the break." "


Moondancer asked "I wonder who this love of her life is?"


Minuette said "I'm sure we'll find out after summer vacation is over. By the way Twilight, your family's traveling vacation is still on, right?"


Twilight said "It is. We're suppose to talk about what the plan is for our vacation plans when I get back from school. You two are still coming with us, right?"


Minuette said "Of course; wouldn't miss it for all Equestria. I'm just glad your parents are letting us go with you."


Twilight said "Well, since my dad (somehow) managed to win an airboat from a bingo competition and it's big enough for more than four ponies, my mom encouraged Shining Armor and I to bring friends."


Moondancer said trying to hide the fact she is blushing "So, Shining Armor is going to be there?"


Twilight said "Yep. He's suppose to show up at the house tomorrow morning before we leave in the afternoon with his friend. I forget his name, but I do know he's in the same department as Shining Armor."


Said a female voice "Oh, so you girls are the only ones in homeroom today."


Twilight said noticing the books that Professor Raven is holding via her arms and magic "Professor Raven, good morning. Do you need help with those?"


Professor Raven said as before she tripped on a pencil and almost dropped all the books "No thanks. I've got this under control. I'm just glad that the three of you decided to come on the last day of school, rather than skip school like 85% of the school's student body did. Ahh, the books."


Twilight said using her magic to stop all the books from falling "Don't worry Professor Raven, I've got them.


Professor Raven said "Thank you, Twilight."


I didn't realize it then, but catching Professor Raven's books like that caused the seal on one of her books to break; I couldn't have known that this book in particular was that important.


Twilight said noticing a book with Celesita and Luna surrounding the sun and moon on the cover"Professor Raven, what's this book?"


Professor Raven said "Its nothing; just an old spellbook containing spells that no pony can perform anymore."


Moondancer said "I don't think I've ever seen this book before. Are these art depictions of the legendary alicorns, Celestia and Luna?"


Professor Raven said "That's correct, Moondancer. While this book contains old spells written by various ponies across time who's names are lost, there are some spells that were supposedly written by them. There are a total of 3034 spells in that book."


Twilight asked "Would it be possible for us to borrow this book and look over some of these spells during the summer?"


Professor Raven said "Well, it's not like any of you can cast these spells anyway; so, yes, you can borrow this book. But you should know that it's mostly written in Olde Ponish."


Twilight said "Thank you, Professor Raven."


Said a unicorn student "Hey everypony, there's a party going on in the gym. Everypony is encouraged to attend, students and teachers."


Minuette said "Sounds fun. Can we go, Professor Raven?"


Professor Raven said "Sounds like everypony is invited; it's encouraged for you to go so go right ahead."


Moondancer said "Aren't you coming with us?"


Professor Raven said "I have some other stuff I need to take care us first, so I'll stop by later."


Minuette said grabbing Twilight and Moondancer and running off"Ok. Come on, girls."


Professor Raven said after they left "I did what you asked Zecora; I just hope you're right about this."


Later that night, Twilight arrived home after school with Minuette and Moondancer. Her parents talked to them about their vacation plans while they ate dinner at the same time. After they finished talking about their vacation plans, Twilight and her friends went upstairs to her room and started to look at the spell book; her parents went out to get a few more things for their trip. While Twilight and Moondancer are intrigued by the spells, Minuette was indifferent about it for the most part and she's can't read Olde Ponish like Twilight and Moondancer can.


Moondancer said "Some of these spells look weird. Strawberry Rainbow Blast, Fantastic Exit Beam, The All Seeing Eyeball."


Twilight said "Well, Professor Raven did say that some of these spells were written by ponies whose names have been lost through time; maybe these ponies were eccentric."


Moondancer said "That is possible."


Minuette asked "Are there any spells that will make doughnuts appear out of thin air?"


Twilight said "No, but if we find any we'll let you know."


Moondancer said noticing a page not written in Olde Ponish"Hey, what's this?"


Twilight said "This isn't written in Olde Ponish. "


Minuette asked "What is it?"


Twilight said before turning the page to where the cards are in a compartment of the book""Celestia Cards and Luna Cards"? That's what the title says."


Moondancer said "Hey, the cards are surrounded by 4 gems but there are 10 gems missing from these slots."






(At Canterlot Academy)


Professor Raven is in her office looking at some photos of her and some of her students. While she's doing this, a unicorn with a broken horn wearing black armor walks in.


Said the pony "You're Professor Raven, correct?"


Professor Raven said "Yes. I guess it was only a matter of time before you showed up."


The pony said threatening her with her broken horn "If you know who I am, then you know why I'm here. Where is the book; where are the cards?"


Professor Raven said "Your too late."






(In Twilight's room)


Moondancer said holding  The Dream Card"These cards look amazing. Love the artwork."


Minuette said holding The Silent Card "I wonder who made these."


Twilight said noticing a card glowing "Hey, one of the Luna cards are glowing."


Moondacner asked"Which one?"


Twilight said after grabbing the card "The Windy."


Then suddenly, a big gust of wind formed in Twilight's room. While she and her friends held onto the floor as the wind blew, all the cards except The Windy started to blow around in Twilight's room and eventually phase through her walls and into the sky.


Moondacner asked "What was that?"


Minuette asked "Twilight, how did you do that?"


Twilight said "I don't know; I never meant to do anything."


Minuette asked "I don't suppose Professor Raven isn't going to notice that those cards went missing when we return this book to her?"


Moondancer said "She's going to be mad at us."


Then suddenly, the book started to glow purple and a purple and green eggs came out of it. The egg then hatched and a dragon appeared before them, yawning.


The Dragon said "That's the best sleep I've ever had."


Moondancer asked "Girls, are you seeing what I'm seeing?"


Twilight said "A purple dragon with green scales."


Moondancer "Yep."


The Dragon said "Ponies!"


Minuette asked"Yes, who are you?"


The Dragon said "I'm Spike. Guardian Dragon of the Celestia and Luna Cards; mainly the Luna Cards." Spike turns around and notices the cards are gone. "Ahhhhh! The Cards! The Cards! Where did they go? What happened to them? Where are the Celestia Cards? Where are the Luna Cards?"


Twilight said showing Spike The Windy card"You mean this."


Spike said snatching the card away from Twilight"The Windy (Luna). Thank you ponies. Now, where are the rest of the cards?"


Twilight said"Funny story about that. "


Spike said"Ok? Tell me."


Twilight explained "We were going over some of the spells in your book, we found the pages where the cards were, one of them started to glow (specifically The Windy), a huge wind appeared, and they all flew away."


Spike shouted "WHAT!? THAT"S NOT FUNNY?"

Somewhere in a forest, a pink pegasus is looking up at the sky when suddenly, one of the Celestia Cards, The Friendship, falls from the sky. She grabbed the card and flew to a nearby hut and went inside; there, a zebra is putting a powder in a cauldron.


The zebra asked"Was it there?"


The Pink pegasus said "Yes, Zecora. I have The Friendship with me; it fell in the exact spot as you predicted."


Zecora said "That means the rest of the cards have been released as well."


The pink pegasus said "Then I better start searching for them too; I'm sure the others will start searching too."


Zecora said "Cadance. If you run into "her" make sure she doesn't retrieve The Friendship; she's not ready for it, yet."


Cadance said before leaving "I understand."







Back in Twilight's room, Spike is running around screaming in terror after learning that all the Celestia cards and the Luna cards, except The Windy, are all gone. He eventually stopped after running out of breath from all the running and screaming.


Twilight said after giving Spike some water"Spike, I'm really sorry about this; I didn't mean to release all the cards like that."


Spike said after drinking the water "How did you do it anyway?"


Twilight asked"What do you mean?"


Spike asked"How did you break the seal?"


Twilight said with a confused look on her face "What seal?"


Spike explained "There was a magical seal placed on the page where the cards were suppose to be. The only ones who could break it are Celestia, Luna, or one of the 14 Pillars of Harmony, specifically you're not one of their blood relatives.  But even if you were a blood relative of one of the Pillars, you need all 14 of them just to break the seal along with 14 gems, or elements,  that each represent their special trait."


Moondancer said showing Spike the burgundy, blue, pink, and purple gems  "You mean these gems?"


Spike asked "Where are the rest? Don't tell me, they blew away."


Moondancer said "No, only four of these were here when we got to the page."


Spike said looking at the gems "Bravery, Laughter, Kindness , and Magic.  Hmm. That's odd. They agreed to keep all the elements in one place. What happened? Why would Ember.........hey, was there another dragon here before I woke up?"


Twilight said "No. You are the only dragon that appeared."


Minuette asked looking at Spike's back "By the way, if you are a dragon, where are your wings? Don't dragons usually have wings."


Spike said"They do and I have wings. Or at least I had them until The Watery and The Dark blew away. I need those cards along with The Windy to be at full strength. Ember needs The Firey, The Earthy, and The Light; they're Celestia cards."


Moondancer asked "Who's Ember?"


Spike explained "She's the other dragon guardian of the Celestia and Luna cards. While I keep track of the cards, she keeps track of the gems. We were both sealed in the book together to keep track of the cards and the weapons and make sure no evil force tries to take them."


Twilight asked "If that's true then how come you didn't notice she was gone until now?"


Spike said "Well, apart from being asleep, we were kept in to separate dimensions of the book. It was necessary for us to be separate so we could better defend the cards and the weapons. Also, Ember isn't much of a talker anyway."


Moondancer asked "Spike, how long have you been asleep in this book?"


Spike said before he interrupted himself "It's varied from time to time. You.........."


Twilight said "Spike, what's wrong?"


Spike said "I sense a Luna card revealing itself."





Somewhere, in the streets of Canterlot, Twilight Velvet and Night Light are walking back from the air docks after checking up on their air boat.


Velvet said "I'm really looking forward to a relaxing vacation."


Night Light said "I know you are hun."


Velvet said noticing a big hole where a mailbox used to be  "Honey, wasn't there a mailbox there?"


Night Light said looking at the nearby café "I think so. And didn't that café over there have tables and chairs outside."


Velvet said "It did.


Night Light said looking around "You don't think there's a thief on the loose, do you? Velvet? Honey."


Velvet said as she is floating in the air "Up here."


Night Light asked "How did you get up there?"


Velvet said with an excited tone "I don't know."





Somewhere else, Twilight and the others are following Spike since he knows the location of the Luna card that has chosen to show itself.


Twilight asked "So, which card revealed itself?"


Spike said "I don't know yet. I may know when a Luna card or a Celestia card will show itself but that doesn't mean I know which one it is; I'm not a psychic."


Minuette stopping for a moment "Hey, wasn't the doughnut shop there?"


Moondancer said "Minuette, this is no time for doughnuts."


Minuette said pointing out the big hole on the ground "I know, but look. The Doughnut shop is gone."


Twilight said looking up "More like it's in the air. Look."


Spike said as he noticed other ponies in the air "Not only that, but ponies are in the air too."


Minuette pointed out to Twilight "Like your parents."


Spike said "This is the work of The Float card."


Twilight asked "How do we stop this?"


Spike said "We need a Cardcaptor to capture it."


Moondancer asked "What's a Cardcaptor?"


Spike said "In short, they are ponies who are supposed to capture the Celestia and Luna cards in the event they go crazy for any reason."


Twilight said "I don't think your going to find one at this very moment nor do I believe there is one in Canterlot."


Spike said "From the looks of things, your right. Then there is only one thing we can do. Moondancer, give me the Element of Magic."


Moondancer said giving Spike the purple gem from her pocket "Ok. Why?"


Spike said "Twilight, give me your hand."


Twilight asked after grabbing Twilight's hand with the purple element "Spike, what are you doing?"


Spike said "Something that Ember and I can do in case of an emergency. I call upon the Element of Magic to bestow its power on this unicorn. Her name is Twilight Sparkle. I command you to bestow your power on Twilight Sparkle and make her the Cardcaptor of Magic. Release!"


The purple stone then transformed into a purple staff with a book on top of the staff that has her cutie mark on the cover of the book.


Twilight asked "What is this?"


Spike said "The Element of Magic turned into a weapon. Normally, Ember is supposed to do this but since she's not here I have to do it. So, Congratulations Twilight, you are a Cardcaptor."


Twilight asked "What!? Why me?"


Spike said "Because we need a cardcaptor now and you fit the bill at the moment since you are the one who broke the seal and managed to use The Windy without an element in the first place."


Minuette said "I don't suppose you can also make me and Moondancer Cardcaptors as well, can you?"


Spike said "No. You two don't fit with the Elements of Bravery, Laughter or Kindness."


Twilight said "So, what am I suppose to do?"


Spike said "You need to find The Float and seal it away. I'll help you of course."


"What should we do?"


"Just stay here; we'll take care of this."


"Twilight, are you sure?"


"Its my fault that this card is reeking havoc, so I need to be the one to stop it."


Twilight and Spike ran toward the direction where the Spike could sense The Float card. As they are running toward it, they notice all the stuff and ponies in the area. Twilight asked why The Float card is doing this and Spike explained that The Float card isn't trying to hurt anypony; it's a mischievous card that likes to make thing float in the air. Twilight and Spike then arrived at Canterlot Academy, where The Float card is located at the clock tower of the school.


Spike said pointing at the purple hot air balloon with a pink basket and white wings "There it is. Now seal it."


Twilight said "Wait, if I seal The Float now, then the spell will break and everypony in the air will plummet to the ground."


Spike said giving Twilight The Windy card"When that happens, use this."


Twilight said "The Windy."


Spike said "Use it and it will save everything and everypony from plummeting to the ground."


Twilight asked "How can you be sure?"


Spike said "Because this card and I are connected. It's very powerful and it will save everypony."


Twilight and Spike said as they are floating too"Ahh."


Spike urged Twilight"Do it now. Seal The Float card away."


Twilight shouted while pointing her staff at The Float "Return to your original form and be sealed, FLOAT."


As a result of Twilight pointing her staff at The Float, it turned into energy and into the form of a card. However, this did cause everything and everypony that was under The Float's influence to start falling. In order to save everypony, Twilight said: "Windy. Use your powerful wind and save everypony from falling. Release."


When Twilight tapped on The Windy card, it started to glow and a green pegasus pony came out of the card. It flew around Canterlot and created a huge gust of wind that stopped everything and everypony from plummeting to the ground and landed them safely.


Twilight said "That was a close one. It looks like everypony is ok."


Velvet shouted as she and Night Light ran toward her with Minuette and Moondancer"Twilight."


Twilight said giving them a hug"Mom, dad, are you alright?"


Velvet said "We're fine, honey. But that was rush. How we managed to float into the air like that was amazing; it was surprising and unexpected, but amazing."


Spike said "It may have been amazing then, but your lucky that The Float card isn't all that powerful."


Night Light said surprised to see Spike"A dragon! Wait, where are your wings?"


Minuette said "That's what I asked."


Moondancer said noticing the crowd "Uh oh, looks like ponies are coming over here to investigate what happened."


Twilight said "How are we going to explain this to them?"


Professor Raven said looking badly beaten "All of you come in here, now."


Twilight said "Professor Raven. What happened to you?"


Raven shouted to them "Just come in here now."


Moondacner said "Is that the Amnesiulet?"


Raven said as they all came in"Yes. Get behind me, all of you."


As the crowd of ponies came toward the school, Professor Raven held up the Amnesiulet and a mist appeared from it that covered all of Canterlot. Everypony stopped heading toward the school and simply went back to their homes or simply walking in different directions like nothing happened at all. Afterwards, Professor Raven fell to the ground, but Velvet and Night Light prevented her from falling to the ground.


Twilight asked "Professor, what happened to you; who did this?"


Raven said "Somepony who is after the Celestia and Luna cards. Twilight, you have to gather as many of the Celestia and Luna cards as you can and bring them to Manehattan."


Twilight asked "Manehattan? What's there?"


Raven said before fainting "Find Zecora in the Everfree Forest; she can tell you more."


Elsewhere, on a rooftop, the unicorn with a broke horn is watching Twilight and the others with the help of a magical telescope with a blue hedgehog standing next to her; she also notices that Twilight has The Windy and The Float.


The blue hedgehog asked "So, what are we going to do now, Tempest; aren't we going to steal the Luna cards from her?"


Tempest said "We can't, Grubber. Since her element touched those cards, they now belong to that unicorn Cardcaptor. Besides, now that all the Celestia and Luna cards, we need to start looking for them before they do."


Grubber said "I'm sure we can get to them before she does."


Tempest said walking away from the scene "We will, but I wasn't referring to that unicorn; I was referring to the other Cardcaptors that are out there. It won't be long before they find out that the cards have been set free."

The next morning, at the train station,  Twilight's brother, Shinning Armor has arrived with his friends, Spearhead and Spitfire.

Spitfire said "So, this is Canterlot; a lot fancier than I originally thought it would be."

Spearhead said "It's awesome to be home again."

Shining Armor said "I know, right. "

Spitfire asked Shining Armor "How far is your house from here?"

Shining Armor said "Not too far from here. Follow me."

Spearhead said picking up a rapier sword like pin on the ground"Hey, what's this doing on the ground?"

Shining Armor asked "What you got their Spearhead?"

Spearhead said "Just a pin shaped like a sword; looks awesome and inspiring."

Spitfire said sarcastically "Sure it does."

Eventually, the three of them headed in the direction of Shining Armor's house. However, they did not realize that a pink earth pony with a very big bag is following them.



At the Canterlot hospital, Professor Raven is resting on the bed. Twilight and the others simply told the doctors and the police that her parents found her walking from the direction of the school; Raven, before she fell unconscious, said that she was mugged by some stranger in some strange armor; the police believed them of course since some parts of the school have been vandalized and they have been at the hospital ever since. Velvet left a note for Shining Armor at the house so he knows where they are.

Moondancer said "I hope Professor Raven is ok."

Twilight said "The doctors said that she has major injuries to her right leg, her sides, and a slight concussion, but she will pull through;however, it will be a while before she wakes up."

Velvet wondered "I wonder who did this to her?"

Spike said while hiding in a bag "Someone who is after the Celestia and Luna cards, obviously. However, I do wonder why she had the book in the first place."

Twilight asked "What do you mean by that?"

Spike said "Last I checked, the book was supposed to stay in the castle."

Night Light asked for confirmation "The castle? You mean the Castle of the Two Sisters."

Spike said "Yes. That's where the book is supposed to be under protection of  the 14 Pillars of Harmony, or at least some of their servants."

Twilight explained "Spike. The castle had been abandoned for almost 545 years. The Council of Equestria moved to Manehattan after the Everfree Forest started to grow out of control."

Spike said "That's impossible. The Tree of Harmony should have contained everything that grew there."

Minuette asked "Spike, where are you going?"

Spike said "Heading to the Everfree Forest. I need to see what happened for myself."

Velvet said "Spike, that place is dangerous."

Spike said "I don't care. I have to go there."

Twilight asked "Ok, but how are you going to get there without getting too much attention."

Spike asked "What does that mean?"

Minuette pointed out "Don't get the wrong idea about me saying this, but you're a dragon. Your going to draw a lot of attention to yourself since no pony has seen a dragon in a very long time."

Spike said with a reluctant look on his face "Then I'll have to go with plan D. Since The Windy card is contained, I should have enough magic to do this."

Twilight asked "Do what?"

Spike started to glow purple and his body started to transform into something else. Eventually, he stopped glowing and turned into a puppy."

Spike said "Not my favorite form, but it'll have to do."

Moondancer asked "Wait, dragons can transform into dogs?"

Spike said opening a window "No, just me and Ember; it was Princess Celestia's idea."

Twilight asked showing Spike her staff in a small-key chain form "Wait. What about this?"

Spike said before he stopped himself to smell something "Normally, I would take that with me since you aren't in the family of the Pillar of Magic. However, I don't know where the Pillar of Magic's family is, so  I'll let you hold on to it for safe keeping along with The Windy and The Float since you do have some magical power strong enough to break the seal in the first place. I'll hold on to the elements since I need to............."

Twilight asked "Need to what?"

Spike said "Not only do I smell Pillar of Harmony bloodline, I sense a Celestia card; both are in the same direction of your house."

The Sparkle family said at the same time "What?"





Back with Shining Armor, he and his friends went inside the house with the help of Shining Armor's keys. Once inside, the found the note addressed to him from his mother about Professor Raven being at the hospital and will be back soon.

Spitfire asked "So, whose Professor Raven?"

Shining Armor said "She's Twilight's homeroom teacher and mentor. She's also the one that highly recommended that Twilight be enrolled in Canterlot Academy after she displayed this huge burst of magic by when she was a filly; she even turned mom and dad into plants."

Spitfire said "Your sister must be really powerful if she can do that."

Shining Armor said "Well, as far as I know, that was the only time she's done that. Processor Raven said that something external triggered it but it is possible for Twilight  to use such power when she's older; that's what she's told my parents at least."

Spearhead asked after hearing someone knock on the door"Hey, are you expecting anyone?"

Shining Armor said before answering the door "No."

The pink pony said "Hi."

Shining Armor asked "Can I help you?"

The pink pony introduced herself  and asked"Hi, I'm Pinkie Pie. Is this 3413 Glass Slipper Lane?"

Shining Armor said "It is. How do you know my home address and why is it written on this sheet of paper?"

Pinkie Pie said "Because my Granny Pie told me to come here. She said that I would find Spike the guardian dragon of the Celestia and Luna Cards here and a fellow Cardcaptor."

Shining Armor said with a confused look "Cardcaptor? Guardian Dragon?"

Pinkie Pie said "Well, technically I'm not a Cardcaptor yet. I need to get the Element of Laughter from the guardian dragon, Spike, first."

Shining Armor said "Listen, I don't know who you are or what you're looking for but there is no one, especially a dragon, by the name Spike here."

Pinkie Pie said "My tongue is on fire. My tongue is on fire. A Celestia card is here."


Shining Armor said with an even more confused look "Ok, what are you talking about?"

Pinkie Pie headed inside the house and toward the kitchen where Spearhead and Spitfire are drinking soda. She told Spearhead to get rid of that pin before it was too late; but it was too late. The pin started to glow and become a full fledged sword; it latched onto Spearhead and his eyes started to glow read.





Back with Twilight and the other are running back to Twilight's home where Spike says the Celestia card is located.

Twilight asked "So, this is a Celestia card instead of a Luna card?"

Spike said "Yep. It's The Sword card. It's a very powerful but also violent Celestia Card. She created it to help in combat situations against' very powerful foes, but even she had trouble controlling the sword sometimes."

Night Light asked "If it was at our house, how come you didn't sense it before."

Spike explained "Because it wasn't originally at your house; someone must have brought it there and then it activated for some reason."

Velvet said with a worried look on her face "If it was brought to the house, then that must mean Shining Armor is home. I hope he's ok."

When they all arrived at the house, they saw Shining Armor, Pinkie Pie, and Spitfire protected by a barrier that he created to protect themselves from Spearhead who is being controlled by The Sword.

Everyone except Spike said "Shining Armor."

Shining Armor said "Everyone get away from Spearhead, now!"

Twilight said as she and everyone else moved out-of-the-way of Spearhead slashing at them"Ahh."

Minuette suggested "Just encase him with one of your barriers."

Shining Armor said "I tried that already; he broke all of them easily. The one you saw protecting us was almost going to break."

Spike said "The Sword can cut through almost anything; standard magical barriers won't work."

Shining Armor said "Did that dog just talk?"

Twilight said "Long story. But since we're all here, maybe we can all jump him."

Spitfire said "Won't work. The moment we tried getting close to him, he almost slashed at us."

Pinkie Pie said "There has to be something that we can do."

Twilight asked"Who are you?"

Pinkie said "I'm Pinkie Pie. Nice to meet you. I'm a soon to be Cardcaptor."

Twilight said "You're a Cardcaptor."

Spike said smelling her "She is. She's the bloodline for the Pillar of Laughter."

Velvet said to the girls  "Girls, look out."

Spearhead said while being controlled by The Sword "Cardcaptor."

Spike said after they dodged the attack  "The Sword seems to be going after the two of you since you are Cardcaptors."

Twilight said "How come?"

Spike said "Because The Sword doesn't like being sealed so it must want to get rid of the two of you."

Twilight said just before she was about to be sliced but not before Shining Armor put up a barrier around Spearhhead "Ahh! Thanks Shining Armor."

Shining Armor said while almost exhausted "Don't thank me yet; this barrier won't last long."

Moondancer said using her magic to strengthen the barrier a bit "I'll help you out; this should make your barrier last longer for just a bit."

Shining Armor said "Thanks Moondancer."

Spike said getting the blue gem out "That should buy me some time. Pinkie Pie come here and give me your hand. Also, is Pinkie Pie your real name?"

Pinkie said "Ok. It's what I tell other ponies to call me, but my real name is Pinkamena Diane Pie."

Spike said "Sounds about right. I call upon the Element of Laughter to bestow its power on this Earth Pony. Her name is Pinkamena Diane Pie. I command you to bestow your power on Pinkamena Diane Pie and make her the Cardcaptor of Laughter. Release! "

The blue gem transformed into a white and pink mallet with three balloons, two blue and one yellow, on the face of the mallet.

The moment this happened, the barrier that kept Spearhead and The Sword in broke and they headed in Pinkie Pie's direction. Twilight got in the way to defend her with her staff and managed to block the attack. This gave Pinkie Pie enough time to get out-of-the-way and Twilight immediately moved out-of-the-way too. Spearhead tried to attack both but they dodged the attack. Spike told them that they need to disarm Spearhead; if The Sword doesn't have a wielder then it won't work. Twilight liked the idea, but they needed a distraction. Pinkie Pie got an idea and asked Twilight to distract Spearhead so she can grab something from her bag. Twilight did what she asked and distracted Spearhead as best she can. Shining Armor wanted to help but he's too exhausted to make anymore barriers. Spitfire wanted to go in and help Twilight but Spike stopped her.

Spike said stopping them from trying anything else "You can't; none of you can."

Velvet said"But Twilight....."

Twilight said "Leave this to her and Pinkie Pie; only they can do this."

Spitfire said "So can I; I'm not afraid. Just give me one of those stones and make me a weapon."

Spike said "I can't do that. "

Spitfire asked "Why not?"

Pinkie Pie said bringing out a blue cannon"I'm back."

Twilight asked "Pinkie Pie, what is that?"

"My party cannon. Surprise."

Pinkie Pie used the canon and fired confetti, cakes, muffins, and her mallet at Spearhead which caught his attention and headed toward Pinkie Pie. Twilight then used this opportunity while he was about to strike at Pinkie Pie to attack his hand as hard as he could and manage to disarm The Sword away from Spearhead; he fainted afterwards.

Spike said "Now, do it now."

Twilight said " Return to your original form and be sealed, SWORD."

The Sword turned into energy and eventually into a card that floated in the air. Twilight was about to grab it, but it went to Pinkie Pie instead.

Twilight asked Spike "Huh? How come it went to her?"

Spike explained "I assume that Pinkie was the one who not only noticed the card but also got it to show its true form; so, the Celestia card goes to her automatically. It doesn't matter if Twilight sealed it."

Pinkie Pie said giving Twilight The Sword "Here."

Twilight said "But it went to you."

Pinkie Pie said "It's ok; I don't like swords all that much anyway. Also, this can be considered a sign of our friendship as Cardcaptors."

Later, after bringing Spearhead in the house, Twilight and the others talked to Shining Armor and Spitfire about the Celestia and Luna cards; Spike did most of the explaining before he headed up to Twilight's room with the cards. Eventually, it cut to Pinkie Pie explaining that her Granny Pie told her to come here because her Granny sense told her that she would find Spike here specifically; everyone was confused about how her granny knew this but decided not to think about it too much now. As for their vacation plans, Velvet suggested that they head out for their first destination, Ponyville, after Spearhead recovers.

Twilight and Pinkie Pie headed upstairs to see what Spike is doing. When they entered,  they noticed the cards in a circle and glowing.

Twilight asked "What are you doing?"

 Spike said "Since we have at least 3 cards, I was using them to see if anymore cards are in Canterlot. From the looks of it, there aren't any Celestia or Luna cards in Canterlot."

Pinkie Pie asked "So, we can use this method to detect the cards now?"

Spike said "Sort of. This method may be able to sense the presence of a Celestia or Luna card, but it has a double edge; it warns the cards that they are being detected and will cause them to run."

Twilight said "At least Canterlot is safe from these cards."

Spike "That may be the case, but no other place in Equestria is safe as long as those cards are out there. I just hope the other Cardcaptors are out there and have noticed the danger by now. There is also the matter of who is also after the cards as well."

Twilight said "Maybe this Zecora pony knows."

Pinkie Pie said "Zecora; your planning on seeing Zecora?"

Twilight asked "I guess. Do you know her?"

Pinkie Pie said "Not personally, but I do know her name; my Granny Pie told me. Also, she's a zebra. The Zebra Shaman of the Cardcaptors."

Somnambula. A desert town in Southern Equestria named after the legendary hero, Somnambula, who saved Southern Equestria from ruin when the land was terrorized by evil forces that plagued the land a long time ago. Since then, the town has been at peace and is famous for being named after the legendary hero, archaeological digs, and ancient temple excavations.


In the town, during the night, Tempest Shadow and Grubber are walking through the town in search of a supposed sighting of a Celestia card by one of their informants. While they are walking, Tempest thinks back to her conversation with Raven.


(Flashback)


Tempest said holding Raven by the neck "What do you mean I'm too late; what have you done?"


"Simple. I made sure the Celestia and Luna cards would be released so you and your organization would never get your hands on the cards."


Grubber shouted outside "Tempest, you need to take a look outside."


Tempest said as she saw the cards fly away through the window "No. What have you done?"


Raven said "If you want the cards now, you have to go after themselves."


(Flashback Ends)


Back in Somnambula, Tempest Shadow and Grubber entered a bar where they are supposed to meet their contact. Tempest Shadow went to the bar keep and asked if anyone by the name John Doe is; he responded by saying that he is in the private room on the second floor. They head for the second floor where their contact is waiting for them and enter the private booth.


Tempest Shadow said "Dr. Caballeron."


The Doctor asked after finishing his drink "Who wants to know?"


Tempest Shadow said "The Big 5."


Dr. Caballeron said "So, you are Tempest Shadow. I was told by Number 1 that you would be meeting me."


Tempest Shadow said "That is correct. He said that you have information about a mysterious entity or strange occurrence going on in Somnambula."


 Dr. Caballeron said "Yes, but before I mention anything I need my payment first."


Tempest Shadow said after showing him a big bag of money "You will get this after you tell me your information; just know that if I find out that you are lying then I'll be back and there will be no place for you to hide."


Dr. Caballeron said explained "I understand. Over the past few days, there have been reports of a strange figure coming out during the day and attacking ponies at the excavation site. However, this figure seems to attack the strongest of ponies there."


Tempest Shadow asked "What do you mean by "strongest ponies"?"


Dr. Caballeron said "Ponies that do all the heavy lifting, guard the archaeologist from bandits and wild animals; that sort of thing. This figure came up toward them all and beat them all up."


Tempest asked inquiring for more information "He didn't attack anypony else?"


Dr. Caballeron said "No; just the ponies who fit the criteria I mentioned. The figure doesn't attack anypony else."


Tempest asked "And this figure only attacks during the day?"


Dr. Caballeron said "That is correct."


Tempest said giving him the money  before she and Grubber left "Here, as promised."


Dr. Caballeron said "Pleasure doing business with you."


Grubber said "Well, that was easy. Now all we need to do is wait during the morning to go after the Celestia card."


Tempest said "Too easy. I want you to follow him tomorrow morning and make sure that he wasn't keeping anything else from us."


Grubber said while eating a piece of cake "Got it."


The next day, Tempest Shadow headed to the excavation sight to find this mysterious figure and take him or her down. The head of the excavation sight had everyone clear out so Tempest could handle this on her own; however, he was worried that Tempest would be another victim of this figure's attacks. She simply told him that she can handle this on her own and won't be another victim. After everyone left, Tempest saw the figure come toward her; it turns out to be an Earth Pony with bandaged hands, orange robe, brown shoes, and a brown medallion. Tempest says: "So, you decided to show yourself to me after all. You consider me worthy of your abilities, Fight card."


Back with Grubber, he is following Dr. Caballeron and seeing where he is going. As he is following him, he notices that the doctor is holding a pan scale with the sun on one side the moon on the other. Grubber, while eating a piece of cake, is looking at a book titled "Celestia and Luna Cards Guide" and looks up the image in the book since he thinks he's seen that scale before in the book; he has. The pan-scale is actually a Celestia card, The Libra. It's an inanimate type that doesn't control anyone or have a specific master unless it gets sealed. It has the ability to tell if someone is lying or not.  From the looks of it, Dr. Caballeron is planning on using it for something but he doesn't know what. Eventually, he followed the doctor to a house almost away from the town where a mare is being tied up and guarded by three thug ponies.


Back with Tempest, she is dodging all the punches and kicks coming from The Fight. Eventually, it got to the point where she had to use her hands and feet to block the attacks coming from The Fight. Tempest thought to herself that The Fight's moves are relentless and she sees no end to them. She knew that she had to end this quickly. She got close to The Fight as best she could, placed her broken horn in front of its face, and let out a strong spark that blinded The Fight. Tempest then kicked The Fight back away from her and threw a black and green orb at The Fight. As soon as it hit, The Fight's body started to get covered in a strange rock; it tried to Fight it off but it was too late and it became completely encased in the rock. Tempest Shadow then grabbed a purple amulet with a yellow and black eye on it and said: "Fight. I command you to submit to me in the name of darkness. Become my eternal slave and be sealed away from the sun." The Fight then turned into energy and was sealed inside of the amulet.


After that, she headed for the spot where her airship is located and waited for Grubber to report back on Dr. Caballeron. Eventually, he arrived and he had The Libra in his hand.


Tempest asked "What took you?"


Grubber explained "I had to wait for the right moment to get this Celestia card and I wanted to buy one of their Somnambula cakes before we left. But like you said, Caballeron was keeping things from us; he's trying to track down the Celestia and Luna cards so he can use them for himself and thought The Libra would help him do that along with this mare he had tied up. I think he name was A.K. Yearling. I only got The Libra when she and the doctor's goons were fighting so I was able to take advantage of the confusion to get it; also, it didn't resist me taking it"


Tempest said "I'll tell our masters about him. Good work, Grubber. Now put the Libra down before you get cake stains on it."


Grubber said putting it down while still eating cake"Alright."


Tempest said after pulling out the amulet "Libra.  I command you to submit to me in the name of darkness. Become my eternal slave and be sealed away from the sun."


The Libra then turned into energy and went inside of the amulet. Afterwards, they got on board their airship and left the town.


In Tempest's room, she walks to her mirror and places a purple stone in it. As a result, Five figures covered in darkness appeared before her in the mirror.


Said a male voice "Tempest Shadow, report."


Tempest said "Of course. I have obtained The Fight card and sealed it away. Grubber has also managed to obtain The Libra as well, so we now have two Celestia cards at your disposal."


Said an old creäture's voice "Excellent work, Tempest. But can you care to explain how a creature such as Grubber managed to get such a Celestia card, regardless if the card is not picky about who uses the power, sealed or not?"


Tempest explained "According to him, he managed to get it during the confusion between Dr. Caballeron's encounter with sompony by the name A.K. Yearling; he's trying to get the Celestia and Luna cards for himself."


Said the same male voice "Interesting. We will have one of our agents deal with Dr. Caballeron. You focus on finding the cards and bringing them to us."


Tempest said "Understood."


Said a female buggy voice "One other thing, Tempest. If you find someone by the name Captain Celaeno, bring her to us; she has information on the Pillar of Healing and who is supposed to wield the Element of Healing."

Mighty Helm Island. An island located near the oceans of Equestria. It got its named after the elite group of pony guards that defended this island a long time ago. Other than defending the island itself, the Mighty Helm are famous for fighting in the many wars that have plagued Equestria. While the helm has fought for Equestria for hundreds of years, the group disbanded a long time ago. Now, all this island is a tourist destination for those wanting to learn about the Mighty Helm, see the statues dedicated to the greatest warriors among them, and join the military academy there.

At the docks, during sunset Cadance is getting off the passenger boat and heading toward the town. Before she could do anything, she is greeted by the harbor master, a blue unicorn with a gray mane, eye patch, and sailor's outfit.

The Harbor Master said "Welcome to Mighty Helm Island. I see that you're new to this place."

Cadance responded"I am."

He said"Name's Thunder Anchor . I'm the harbor master of this island ."

Cadance said "I can see that."

Thunder Anchor asked "So what business do you have here, young mare?"

Cadance said "I'm looking for somepony in particular; his name is Roast Pear."

Thunder Anchor said "Roast Pear? Oh yeah, I know him; he's one of the teachers at the military academy. If you're looking for him, he should still be there at this hour."

Cadance said before leaving "Thank you."

Cadance then headed in the direction of the military academy, which isn't hard since the building itself, a giant tower, is visible even if you are out at sea. As she continued to walk through the town, she believes that she senses a presence, probably a Celestia card; but before she could reach to it, she bumps into a small filly who was carrying a basket filled with apples and pears.

Cadance said "Oh my gosh, are you alright? I'm so sorry; I wasn't paying attention."

Said a filly with a pink bow"It's ok; I was looking where I was going."

Cadance said "Let me help you with that."

Said a pony with a hat on"Apple Bloom, wait for me. Wait happened?"

Cadance said helping the filly pick up the fruit "It was my fault. I wasn't looking where I was going and I made her drop all of these apples and pears."

She said "Thank you, miss. I'm Applejack. This little one here is my little sister, Apple Bloom."

Cadance said shacking her hand "Nice to meet you."

Applejack said "I don't think I've seen you here before. Are you new?

Cadance said "Yes. My name is Cadance."

Apple Bloom asked Nice to meet you, Ms. Cadance. So what brings you here to the island?"

Cadance said "I'm here on business; specifically, I'm here to see somepony named Roast Pear."

Applejack said "Your here to see our uncle."

Cadance said "Yes, though I didn't know he's your uncle."

Applejack said "Well, I'm sorry to say Cadance but Uncle Roast Pear left the island a few days ago on business."

Cadance said "Darn it. What kind of business?"

Apple Bloom said "He didn't say; but he should be back sometime tomorrow."

Cadance said "That's good to know. Do you know any inns that I can stay in for the night?"

Applejack said "Sorry to say, but most of the inns are already booked given that it's summer. But since your here to see our uncle, you can stay with our family for tonight."

Cadance asked "Are you sure that's ok?"

Applejack said "It'll be fine; we sometimes take in guest in our family barn when the tourist start to show up."

Cadance said "Ok; thank you."

With that said, Applejack and Apple Bloom lead Cadance to their home. While walking, Cadance tried to sense the presence again but it was already gone since night had already fallen upon them.

A couple pf minutes later, they arrived at a medium-sized house that is almost on the edge of the island. The two sisters and Cadance entered the house where their mother is sitting down, reading a book.

Apple Bloom said running toward her mother and giving her a hug "Mom, we're home."

Pear Butter said hugging her daughter "Applejack, Apple Bloom, your home early."

Applejack said "Yeah. The stand was doing great today, but we had to come home because we were running low on our initial goods that we were going to sell; we managed to save some fruit for you and the babies."

Pear Butter asked looking at Cadance"Thank you, girls. Who is this?"

Apple Bloom said "This Cadance. We met her in town; she's here to see uncle Roast Pear about some business."

Pear Butter said "I see. I'm Pear Butter; Roast Pear is my older brother."

Cadance said shaking Pear Butter's hand "Nice to meet you, ma'am."

Pear Butter said  "Applejack, why don't you and Apple Bloom get dinner ready. I'll show Cadance to the guest room."

Applejack said looking at her pregnant mother "Are you sure your ok to do that mom? "

Pear Butter assured her daughter "I'm fine, Applejack. I may be pregnant but I can still do stuff like that. Now you and Apple Bloom get dinner ready."

Applejack said "Ok."

Apple Bloom said "Call if you need us, mom."

Pear Butter took Cadance upstairs to the guest room where Cadance immediately put her stuff down.

Pear Butter said "The bathroom is down the hall if you need it. Sorry that the bed isn't made; I'll get you some nice sheets for you to sleep in."

Cadance said "You don't have to do that. I can just us my sleeping bag. If I wasn't able to find an inn to stay in for the night, I was going to camp out."

Pear Butter said "Trust me when I say that you wouldn't be the only one doing that tonight since it is tourist season."

Cadance said "I noticed."

Pear Butter said "Cadance, I know why your here."

Cadance said with a surprised tone "You do."

Pear Butter said before"Yes. I know that......."

Said a voice "We're back."

Pear Butter said "We can talk about this later, now that my husband is here."

Cadance is caught off guard by this statement from Pear Butter.



Elsewhere, on a train station, a light amber earth pony with brown eyes, black cut short mane, and wearing a cloak, is sitting in a train car, looking at the window. Eventually, the train stopped and he got off for a moment to be greeted by two other ponies wearing cloaks.

Said a hooded mare "Cardcaptor of Strength, Roast Pear, it is a pleasure to see you."

Roast Pear asked "Is she here?"

Said the hooded mare pointing to a hooded unicorn sitting on a bench behind him "She is; she's sitting right there."

Roast Pear asked "Is she willing to do this?"

Said the unicorn "I am."

Roast Pear said "Ok then. Follow me, Cardcaptor of Beauty."




Back at the house, Cadance came down to meet Pear Butter's husband, Bright Macintosh; she also met their son and older brother to Applejack and Apple Bloom, Big Macintosh. The two of them have just gotten back from the fields and helping repair the roof of one of their neighbors . Dinner was finally ready and they sat down and ate. 

Bright Macintosh asked "So Cadance, where exactly are you from?"

Cadance said "I was originally from a small village near Baltimare but I've traveled around with my adoptive mother, Zecora, for most of my life."

Apple Bloom asked "How come she isn't with you?"

Cadance said "Because she has other stuff to take care of and couldn't come with me to see your uncle."

Big Macintosh said "Are you here to join the military academy?  If so, good luck; our uncle takes no prisoners and will run you ragged."

Cadance said before getting interrupted by somepony knocking on the door "I'm not here to join the academy. I just.........."

Thunder Anchor said after Bright Macintosh opened the door "Bright Macintosh, sorry to disturb you and your family, but the town is having an emergency meeting and everypony is required to come."

Bright Macintosh asked "Why, what's going on?"

Thunder Anchor said "There's been another attack."

Everypony left and headed to the town hall for the meeting. According to police reports, there has been somepony going around attacking tourist with arrows during the day; the injuries were bad enough to put everypony who was attacked in the hospital now. While the attacker hasn't gone after anyone at night, it has become difficult to track the attacker. Everypony is advised not to go around the town alone and anyone under the age of 18 is to be accompanied by a parent or anyone over 18. Cadance knew from this news that this is the work of a Celestia Card; specifically, the work of The Arrow Card.

Back at the house, the Apple Siblings turned in for the night since it is late and they had to get up early in the morning. As for Cadance, she is in her room with Bright Mac and Pear Butter.

Bright Macintosh asked "So, you're a Cardcaptor?"

Cadance said "Yes. I'm the Cardcaptor of Love. I understand that Roast Pear is suppose to be the Cardcaptor of Strength?"

Pear Butter said "And you came here to ask for his assistance since the seal on the Celestia and Luna cards have been broken and they are scattered all over Equestria."

Bright Macintosh said "Looks like my instincts were right about it being a Celestia card; but at the same time, I wanted to be wrong. "

Cadance asked Bright Macintosh "You're a cardcaptor too, aren't you?"

Bright Macintosh said "Yes. I'm the Cardcaptor of Honesty. However, Roast Pear takes care of anything related to the cards after Pear Butter and I left our homes, got married, and started having kids."

Cadance asked "Do they  know about this?"

Bright Macintosh "No. We haven't really had the chance to talk to our kids about this; we didn't think we would have too since the cards were sealed for so long and the odds of them being released seemed low."

Pear Butter said "Also, it would almost be like talking about our parents, his mom and my dad; it's a difficult conversation to have with them."

Cadance said "I see."

Bright Macintosh said "Ms. Cadance, I'll help you in capturing the card on the island, but that's it. I can't come on this quest with you, my brother-in-law, and anyone else who is a Cardcaptor."

Cadance said "I understand. "

Outside the room, the three of them didn't realize it, but Applejack was listening in on the conversation.

The next morning, during early sunrise,  Cadance and Bright Macintosh went out to find The Arrow card. Most of the town is still asleep at this time so finding it without causing too much of a ruckus wasn't going to be too hard for them. While they are walking through the town, Cadance is trying to sense the card's presence.

Bright Macintosh said "Anything?"

Cadance said "No, net yet. The card is doing a good job concealing itself. How come you aren't able to sense it?"

Bright Macintosh said "I was never really good at doing that. My mother could do that, but not me. By chance, during your travels with your adoptive mother, did you ever meet somepony by the name Maria Ann Smith? She lives in Ponyville at a place called Sweet Apple Acres."

Cadance said "I recently came from Ponyville. While walking around the area, I did come across that place and it..........did you hear that? Someone is following us."

Bright Macintosh said "Come out, now."

Applejack said walking out from behind the house "It's me."

Bright Macintosh said surprised to see his daughter "Applejack, what are you doing here? Are you by yourself?"

Big Macintosh said coming out too "Nope."

Bright Macintosh said surprised to see his son"Big Macintosh."

Applejack said "We came to help you."

Bright Macintosh said "You two need to need to get out of here; it's not safe."

Applejack said "Why? How dangerous are these Celestia Card things?"

Bright Macintosh said "How do you know about the Celestia cards?"

Cadance said sensing a presence "Everypony get down, now."

While Cadance and Big Macintosh  dodged to the left, Bright Macintosh and Applejack dodged to the right. They noticed a hooded figure holding a bow, pulling on the wire, arrows appeared out of thin air, and fired again at them. 

Big Macintosh said "What is that?"

Cadance said "The Arrow Card. A very aggressive Celestia Card that likes to shoot its arrows at anybody that it deems hostile."

Applejack shouted "But everypony who lives here is peaceful."

Cadance said "That doesn't matter to Arrow."

Applejack said "How do we stop it?"

Bright Macintosh said "You can't. Only Cadance and I can handle this."

Cadance said as an arrow almost hit her head "Actually, we may need their help after all now. Arrow is way more aggressive than I anticipated."

Big Macintosh asked after Cadance gave him 25 sheets of paper with strange signs on it "What are these?"

Cadance said "Magical Paper written in Olde Ponish. I need you and your sister to place these around the area."

Bright Macintosh said "Cadance, I don't like the idea of putting my kids in danger like this."

Applejack said "Dad, we're not fillies anymore. We can help you."

Big Macintosh said "Besides, I don't think we can run anywhere now. "

Cadance pulled Big Macintosh away from the arrow before it hit his head "Look out." She then headed out and said "Hey Arrow."

Said Arrow "Cardcaptor."

Cadance said "That's right. I'm your opponent."

Cadance grabbed out a sky blue gem and it started to shine in front of everypony. The gem turned into a pink and white bow with the gem shaped like a heart on the top. Cadance pulled the string and fired her own arrows at Arrow himself. Arrow dodged them but Cadance flew toward him to make sure he wouldn't get away.

Applejack said looking at the papers "So, how do these papers work anyway?"

Big Macintosh said "Who knows, but we might as well do what Ms. Cadance asked."

Bright Macintosh said "You two start placing the papers around town. I have to help Cadance."

Applejack asked "With what?"

Bright Macintosh said bringing out a small shovel "This."

Applejack said with a perplexed look "A mini shovel."

Bright Macintosh said "It's one of the elements in the form of a weapon; it's on your favorite Mighty Helm member, Rockhoof. I can use this to help Cadance."

Big Macintosh asked "Is it suppose to do something?"

Bright Macintosh said "It should have grown bigger. What's going here?"

Cadance shouted "What's wrong?"

Bright Macintosh said "It's not working. My weapon isn't working. "

Cadance said noticing an arrow from Arrow going toward Applejack "Look out!"

Bright Macintosh said after he pushed his daughter away before getting hit in the shoulder from one of the energy arrows "Ahh." 

Big Macintosh and Applejack said "Dad!"

Bright Macintosh said after his kids moved him to a safe place "I'll be fine. You two need to help Cadance."

Applejack said "We can't just leave you like this."

Bright Macintosh said "Don't worry about me; your dad has been through a lot worse than this. Now go."

With that said, Applejack and Big Macintosh ran around the town and placed the magical papers on the walls, some houses, and a few barrels. While they are doing this, Cadance is battling Arrow with her energy arrows. The two of them are evenly matched in terms of shooting despite not hitting each other. However, Cadance is starting to feel exhausted from shooting her energy arrows at Arrow. In order to save some energy, she simply flies toward Arrow while avoiding arrows being hit at her. She manages to land a kick at Arrow's face, causing his hood to come off, revealing it to be an earth pony male. This did not phase Arrow as he simply moved away from Cadance and started shooting at her again. Cadance retaliated with her energy arrows, causing the arrows to destroy each other.


Applejack said "Cadance, we've run out of magic paper."

Big Macintosh said "Now what?"

Cadance said "Thanks you two."  

Applejack said as she noticed Arrow about to shoot Cadance "Look out."

Bright Macintosh said catching Arrow from behind and holding on to him tightly "Oh no you don't."

Applejack said "Dad!"

Bright Macintosh said "Ms. Cadance, do whatever you were going to do now? I don't know how long I can hold him."

Cadanc said holding up a real arrow with a paper on it "Force of the Ice. I command you, be my arrow and strike at my enemy."

As a result of her saying this, the magical paper scattered all over the place started to generate ice that was heading toward Cadance's enchanted arrow that has enchanted paper on it. Cadance then put the arrow on her bow, ready to aim it  at Arrow, took a deep breath, and fired it at the Arrow. Bright Macintosh moved out of the way in time so the arrow only hit Arrow. This caused Arrow to freeze completely.

Applejack said "That's amazing."

Cadance said pointing the bow at Arrow "Return to your original form and be sealed, ARROW."

While still encased in ice, Arrow turned into energy and turned into a card. After it's transformation, it went straight to Cadance. Cadance got down to check Bright Macintosh but Big Macintosh and Applejack were already there.

Big Macintosh said looking at the card "Is that Arrow?"

Cadance said "Yes. He won't be hurting anypony anymore."

Applejack said "What exactly were those papers you gave us?"

Applejack said "Enchanted paper that can summon certain elements like ice. It's easy to make but you have to scatter them around in order for power to come toward the "master" enchanted paper."

Said a voice from afar "Hey, did you all here something?"

Thunder Anchor said from afar "I think it came from over there."

Said a panicked female voice "It might be the attacker."

Applejack said "Oh boy, how are we going to explain this to everypony? "

Roast Pear said as he appeared before them with the hooded unicorn "You won't have to."

Big Macintosh said "Uncle Roast Pear."

Roast Pear said "Come on, let's head back to the house and I'll take care of the rest."

They all went back to the house like Roast Pear said before the crowd of ponies showed up. He then grabbed an Amnesiulet, pointed it in the air, and covered the town in its power, making them all forget the events relating to Arrow and the damages.

Big Macintosh said "What was that?"

Roast Pear explained "It's called an Amnesiulet; can wipe out anypony's memories about certain things. However, this one was only made to wipe out any evidence or information that relates to the Celestia and Luna cards along with any damages related to it. It's the ultimate Deus ex Machina for our work."

Cadance said "I have one too, but it can't just wipe out all the damage done."

Roast Pear said "This one is special."

Apple Bloom said running out of the house to hug her uncle "Uncle Roast Pear, your back."

Roast Pear said "Hey Apple Bloom."

Apple Bloom said noticing injuries on both of them"Dad, Ms. Cadance, what happened to you two?"

Bright Macintosh said "We have a lot to talk about."

Everypony went inside and headed to the dinning room where Pear Butter is sitting down at the dinner table.

Pear Butter said giving Roast Pear a hug "Hey Big brother."

Roast Pear said "Hey little sis."

Pear Butter said heading toward her husband "Bright Mac, are you alright?"

Bright Macintosh assured her "I'm fine, darling. This is nothing."

Roast Pear said holding the mini shovel "I'm going to take a guess and say that the shovel didn't work for you."

Bright Macintosh asked "How did you know?"

Roast Pear said holding a pair of gloves "Cause you're not the only one. The gloves don't work either. Anyone who received the elements in our time our beyond that, can't access the power of the elements to create the weapons." 

The hooded unicorn said taking off her hood "They're asking for a new generation of Cardcaptors to harness their power."

Roast Pear said "Everypony, I would like to introduce Sugar Belle. She's the new Pillar of Beauty; one of the newest Cardcaptors."

Apple Bloom asked "What's a Cardcaptor?"
