> The Locker Room Incident

Deep within the old Castle of the Everfree Forest, there was explosions and blood-curdling screams echoing throughout the night. A female unicorn named Chris Hargensen was making run for it down the castle hallways, terrified. Behind her, she could hear a male pony scream and the next thing that happened was that screaming stopped in dead silence. Just as soon as she reached the ancient library, closing the door behind her, she frantically tried to find a place to hide. Despite her being armed only a spear and with her magic, Chris' heart started pounding in fear while hiding behind several bookshelves. After holding her breath with her hoof, Chris could hear the door slowly open with a creaking noise. A unicorn pony covered up in blood steps forward into the library, armed with a double-bladed Axe.

"I know you're in there, Chris Hargensen." The bloodied female unicorn spoke in a scary tone. "You can't hide forever, bitch."

After recognizing the familiar, hostile voice of her bullied victim, Chris could not tell whether she felt bad in mistreating her or that she still want to put her out of her misery. Despite that, Chris slowly sneaks through the shelves, unable to think straight, and attempts to approach the emergency exit when all of a sudden, she hears footsteps coming closer and closer from behind. Just when Chris turned around and raised her spear, she saw nothing. Upon feeling relived for one minute she turns around to face the emergency exit only to see the bloodied unicorn appear right in front of her face, glaring at her in anger. 

As Chris freaked out, she raised her spear up to her midsection and attempted to thrust it at the bloodied unicorn, only for her to dodge it. The next thing that happened is the female unicorn swung her ax from her left, decapitating Chris' horn off her head and the moment she swung her ax from her right, she struck at Chris in her left front leg, chopping half of it off with ease. As blood squirted out from Chris' leg, she started screaming in pain as she hit the floor on her side. As the bloodied unicorn circled around an injured Chris, she started taunting the female unicorn with her ranting.

"What are waiting for, Carrie?" Chris screeched in pain while clutching her decapitated hoof. "DO IT! DO IT!!!!"

The female bloodied unicorn raised her Axe way above her head, preparing to behead Chris. But before she can finish Chris off, the unicorn hears another pony shout out loud behind her.

"CARRIE WHITE, STOP!!!" The purple pony shouted in a Royal Canterlot voice.

The moment both Carrie and Chris turned around, they see a purple alicorn pony appear before them at the doorway entrance of the ancient library. She goes by the name Princess Twilight Sparkle. As the pony princess stepped forward, she started glaring at them intensely before the entire screen turned white.




Two Weeks Earlier.....

It was a bright sunny day out in and exercise training field outside of Celestia's School of Gifted Unicorns, the very same school that Twilight Sparkle used to study at as the sun princess' prized pupil turned Monarch. Unfortunately, not every pony was able to study good and made friends with the other unicorn students like Twilight Sparkle could. In fact, after one hour of working out, there is a young unicorn mare in her early teenage years. She had a peach fur coat and a yellow mane and tail that bears the cutie mark of a red heart that is broken in two. The reason why she had this cutie mark was because the poor mare had trouble trying to fit right in with the other students since she attended school during the first few days. She goes by the name Carrie White.

Before Carrie went inside the fillies locker room, several other Unicorn started throwing fruits at her from both left and right, while others started laughing at her in silence. At first, she didn't think of it as a big deal. However, as soon as she went to the locker room to take a shower, the worse is still yet to come. After a few minutes of showering, Carrie heard some giggling coming from behind her. When she turned around, she saw nothing and went back to rinse herself off. But unknown to Carrie, a gang of several female unicorns are lurking in the shadows behind her. As soon as the unicorn gang emerged from the shadows, they armed themselves with all sorts of small objects, including lunch boxes, school bags, towels, books, and other school supplies.  Out of the blue, they snuck up on Carrie and as soon as they got closer, they struck at the female unicorn without any warning.

"STOP!!! PLEASE!!!" Carrie screamed as she is getting pelted by the objects that the unicorn gang is throwing at her.

Despite Carrie's pleadings, more female unicorns joined in, except for one named Sue Snell who is a light-brown female unicorn with a red mane and tail that bears the cutie mark of a golden plus sign. Throughout her years in the School of Gifted Unicorns, Sue was unanimously promoted as the 2nd most popular student, ever to rival Princess Twilight for whom she worships as her inspiring royal patron. Ever since Sue heard about how Twilight Sparkle became the 4th Alicorn Princess of Equestria, she could not help but feel so excited in getting the new princess' autographs at Canterlot. After Twilight got a Castle of her own to live in and is promoted as the one and only Princess of Friendship, Sue became one of Twilight's biggest fans in secret. Upon seeing Carrie hurt under such bad circumstances, Sue slowly started to feel bad for humiliating her for over the past few weeks. In other words, Sue's popularity over the school didn't help her stop Carrie's bullies from harassing her in the showers. While the other unicorns continued to keep throwing objects at Carrie, Sue immediately reported the incident to one of the nearby teachers to disperse the bullying crowd. Unbeknownst to any of the unicorns, Carrie's forehead started bleeding after getting hit by a small metal lunch box.

"EVERY PONY, THAT'S ENOUGH!!!" A royal white alicorn shouted in a Canterlot voice as she used her magic to restrain the entire crowd from causing Carrie's humiliation.

Upon shouting in a royal voice command, the white alicorn appeared before every pony else. As she proceeded forwards to the source of the crying noise, every pony that wasn't afflicted with her magic bowed down before her from both left and right. She goes by the name of Princess Celestia, the sun ruler who lived for more than a thousand years of her lifetime. She bears the cutie mark of a bright sun, and has a flowing mane and tail of multiple, bright colors. The white alicorn wears a big, elegant golden crown and necklace with a purple diamond in the middle. When Princess Celestia approached the sobbing unicorn, she sees Carrie hurdled up in a nearby corner at the showers. The moment Celestia comforted the poor unicorn, she hears some more giggling behind her back but they immediately stopped when the white alicorn turned around to face them, staring at them in a threatening glare filled with anger and fury. 

"LEAVE THIS LOCKER ROOM AT ONCE!!!!" Princess Celestia barked loudly while ordering the students out of the area. 

While the rest of the female unicorns leave the locker room, one of them gave Celestia an evil smirk upon her face. The female unicorn, who is responsible for ordering the gang of female unicorns to pick on Carrie, is none other than Chris Hargensen. She is a female lightly-tanned unicorn with a dark-brown mane and tail, in which they're both in a mangled mess. Her mane was tied behind her back with a red ponytail holder. Chris bears the cutie mark of a black "X." According to the her historical family records in Canterlot, Chris happens to be the daughter of a wealthy unicorn lawyer named John Hargensen. Despite how much trouble she is causing at the school, John refuses to believe in Chris' wrongdoings at the school that Carrie was in. To make matters worse, Chris' father bribed most of the guards that witnessed Chris' misbehavior, preventing them from spilling any beans towards the public. 

"Are you okay, Carrie?" Celestia asked in a calm voice. "Let's get you to my office, to see if we can work this out."

Before Carrie and Celestia left the locker room, Sue Snell appeared behind them. As Celestia started glaring at her, Sue protested against the incident that Carrie was in, saying that she doesn't have anything to do with Carrie getting bullied in the school. After giving it a few more thoughts, Celestia remembered how Sue became immediate friends with Princess Twilight, along with Lemon Hearts, Twinkleshine, Minuette, and Moon Dancer. Throughout her time, Twilight was able to gain Sue's trust in Canterlot. In return, Sue does her best to support the Princess of Friendship in any way possible. Unfortunately, because Sue almost humiliated Carrie by accident, Celestia told her that she, along with the rest of the unicorns that bullied Carrie, must be met with some intense disciplinary action later on.

At Princess Celestia's office, the white alicorn is sitting across her desk going over the recent reports of Carrie's humiliation over the past couple of semesters in her school. Across from where Celestia is sitting, Carrie is sitting on top of a chair while still sobbing underneath her hooves, not knowing what to do. After several minutes of going over Carrie's paperwork, Celestia starts her conversation with Carrie.

"You know, I wish I could do more than just subdue and disperse your tormentors Carrie." Celestia spoke in a calm voice. "However, I can't always protect you from them. I have more important stuff that needs to be taken care of outside my school. After all, I have royal duties that must be met with full attention. I mean, this is like the 550th time we have to go through incidents like that in my school."

"Yes, I understand, your highness." Carrie sniveled while letting tears come out of her eyes, unable to look at the sun princess. "But how am I going to survive here if you can't help me anymore?? Why can't I make friends with any pony here??? WHY???"

"It's alright, Carrie. Me and Luna have been talking about this for quiet a while." Celestia replied. "After going over your problems in the school, we decided to issue an agreement for you to start your friendship someplace else, instead in Canterlot."

"Really??" Carrie asked as she looked up to face Princess Celestia.

"We'll let you have a couple of days off from studying at the School of Gifted Unicorns. In the mean time, we have contacted Princess Twilight Sparkle from Ponyville." Celestia acknowledged. "She said that she'll be here to pick you up and will help you from here on out. Before that, however, she may need to request approval from your mother before we bring you into Twilight's castle."

Shortly after school, Princess Celestia escorted Carrie White out of the entrance, followed by several of her royal guards. At the entrance, a royal caravan appeared before them. The moment the caravan stopped, the doors opened, revealing a young purple alicorn with a dark-blue mane and tail with two purple and pink stripes on it. She bears the cutie mark of a pink star with little white stars surrounding it. She happens to be none other than Twilight Sparkle, the Princess of Friendship. Behind her, Twilight is accompanied by Flash Sentry, the orange Pegasus with the blue mane that bears the  cutie mark of a blue shield with a lighting bolt in the middle, and three other guard ponies. 


"Carrie White, I'd like you to meet Princess Twilight Sparkle." Princess Celestia said as she introduced the shy unicorn to the young purple alicorn. "Just remember, I already taught her everything on how to study the magic of friendship and for that she, above all else, succeeded in which no pony has done before."

Upon seeing Twilight up close and person, Carrie immediately bowed down at her hooves before getting back up. 

"Hello. So, you must be Carrie White." Twilight spoke in a calm, happy voice. "It's been a pleasure to meet you. Princess Luna told me about the problems you're facing in this school. Well, despite that, I have never in all my years I have faced this much excruciating pressure before when I tried to fit right in."

"P-Please, your highness." Carrie pleaded while holding both of her hooves together and kneeling below right where Twilight is. "I-I can't stand being humiliated any longer. I'm begging you, p-please help me!!!"

"You've got nothing to worry about Carrie. I'll do my best to help you manage your friendships but first things first." Twilight acknowledged before issuing her decisions towards the white female unicorn. "I may need to speak with your mother before I can take you into my protective custody."

Upon hearing what Princess Twilight had to say, Carrie could not help but worry from the fact that her mother wouldn't stop mistreating her on the day that she was born. It's just like it was yesterday. For her experience, Carrie's mother, Margaret White, is an abusive, religiously fanatical female unicorn who always keeps forcing Carrie to pray in an isolated dark room back at home. Every time that Margaret forced Carrie to pray for forgiveness, it gets worse. Rumor has it that ever since she learned about how Princess Celestia banished Nightmare Moon, a.k.a Princess Luna, to the moon, she makes  devotions towards the sun princess in hoping that everything she does will help rid the world of all darkness and sin. Unfortunately, there were rumors in Canterlot that Celestia is planning to put Margaret into an insane asylum due to her religiously insane behavior. Despite how her mother sees her doing sinful things, whether they're true or not, Carrie was hoping that by living with Twilight Sparkle, she might be able to get away from the horrors of her past and her deprived childhood. As a matter of fact, whatever Twilight will do to Margaret depending on her mood, Carrie was hoping that she will no longer worry about her mother anymore.

As soon as Twilight, Carrie, and Twilight's guards arrived at the White's residential house, they see windows partially broken, smashed up wooden floors, several scratches and cracks all over the walls of the house, and a couple of broken objects all over the front porch. Undaunted by such a horrid sight, Twilight Sparkle marched forward up the steps and knocked onto the front door with her right front hoof, hoping to get a response from Carrie's mother.

"Margaret White, this is Princess Twilight Sparkle." The purple alicorn announced to herself as she stood in front of the doorway. "We need to request your approval for taking your daughter into our custody."

After a few minutes of silence, the doors slowly opened wide. Out of the shadows, a gaunt-looking female unicorn appeared before Twilight Sparkle. She is Margaret White. She's happens to be a pale-tanned unicorn that has wrinkles all over her coat and ugly-looking bags under her eyes, looking like that she hadn't got enough sleep at all due to her mental, untreated Schizophrenia. She had a black, dirty-looking mane and tail and is bearing the cutie mark of a white holy cross. After hearing what Twilight just said, Margaret's eyes narrowed in anger. Before any pony could do anything, Margaret White immediately jumped on top of Twilight Sparkle, much to her surprise and horror. Twilight's eyes widen with shock as Margaret pinned her down to the ground and attempted to strangle the life out of her with both of her hooves.

"YOU DARE TAKE MY DAUGHTER AWAY FROM ME, YOU LITTLE WHORE???" Margaret snapped loudly with her horn lighting up in a white aura. "NO!!! I WILL NOT ALLOW IT. SHE IS NOT TO LEAVE THIS HOUSE AT ALL!! CARRIE MUST PRAY FOR FORGIVENESS OFF ALL THE SINS SHE'S......."

Before Margaret could say another word, Twilight used her magic to unleash a stun spell at her face, making her lose her grip on the purple alicorn. While she was being stunned, Twilight ordered her guards to arrest and restrain the fanatical unicorn from doing any more damage to her or to Carrie White. As Twilight got up, with the help of Flash Sentry, she sees Margaret furiously struggling with Twilight's guards. In less than a minute, the zealous unicorn bit one guard in the neck and punched him in the eye, knocking him to the ground, kicked the second guard in the groin, and grabbed the third guard by the face and kneed him with her left hind leg, breaking nose. As a result, all three guards moaned in pain while clutching their injures for a few minutes. However, just when Margaret broke free from the guards' grip and before she could attack Twilight again, Flash Sentry threw a hard punch at Margaret in the stomach with his right hoof. After taking the full brunt from the pegasus guard, Margaret collapsed onto the ground in pain while holding her stomach with her hooves.

"Sorry Mrs. White, but this is the only way for your daughter to start her life over again without putting up with any more suffering." Twilight Sparkle said as she took a breather from getting strangled. "Whether you like or not, I do believe that Carrie deserves a more better life than rather just being tormented at school or forced to do something she doesn't enjoy doing. In fact, if you're not going to settle this peacefully between us, then I'll have no choice but to isolate you in a more complexed, secured area; away from Carrie White. GUARDS!! LOCK MARGARET WHITE IN THE MAXIMUM SECURITY MENTAL INSTITUTION OF PONYCADERO!!!"

After hearing Twilight bellowing orders in a Royal Canterlot voice, the guards got back up on their hooves and grabbed Margaret by the arms and restrained her. This time, they immediately stuff her in a straight-jacket harness, put a muzzle on her face, and used a magic seal on her horn, preventing her from doing any more damage. Just when the prison wagon arrived at the White Residence, they dragged Margaret White inside the wagon but not before she makes her final speech in front of Twilight and Carrie.

"THIS ISN'T OVER, YOU LITTLE ROYAL WHORE!!!" Margaret roared at Twilight Sparkle and Carrie. "I WILL FIND A WAY TO BREAK FREE FROM THAT WRETCHED PLACE AND WHEN I DO, I'LL HUNT YOU BOTH DOWN AND MAKE YOU BOTH PAY FOR YOUR SINS!!!!!" 

After the guards forced her into the prison wagon, they hauled Margaret White off the streets disappearing from Twilight's and Carrie's sight. Upon seeing her mother taking her overzealous rage out on the purple alicorn, Carrie just stood there completely stunned with fear in her eyes. However, Twilight stood tall and stronger while comforting the scared unicorn mare in her hooves, telling her that its okay and that she promised her that the princess will fill a couple of restraining orders on the rest of Carrie's tormentors.

"Oh, Twilight. Why me??" Carrie sobbed as she cried in Twilight's arms. "Why do they have to hurt me so badly?? Why???"

"It's alright Carrie. As long as you're in my custody, I'll won't let anything bad happen to you anymore. I promise." Twilight said as she let the female unicorn cry for a few minutes before moving on.

Just when Carrie and Twilight went to the train station for a departure towards Ponyville, Sun Snell showed up and bowed down at Twilight's hooves before any pony could say anything. As soon as Sue got up on her hooves again, she went to check up on Carrie, despite the incident back at the School of Gifted Unicorns.

"Carrie, I'm really sorry for not being able to stand up for you back there." Sue said in a sympathetic way. "I mean, I thought it was funny at first but if I were to make real friends like Princess Twilight did, then the least I can do is stop making fun of every pony first, as well as taking advantage of their mishaps."

"Well Sue, you might as well accept the consequences for your actions because I did received word a few weeks ago that you accidentally spilled some water all over the school cafeteria, in which made Carrie slip over. As a result for your negligence, Carrie almost injured her back. They also said that you wouldn't stop laughing at her for several minutes after she was painfully humiliated." Twilight said informing the ex-bully of her delinquency while giving her a stern look. "Even if some pony like me were to be popular at school, they still have to be really careful in what they're doing; that is by following the rules of your peers and by not acting like a total big shot into thinking that he or she is better than the rest. You still have a lot to learn about studying friendship, Sue."

"I understand, your majesty." Sue responded while feeling regret over Carrie's situation. "I'll still try to keep in touch with you and Carrie at Ponyville as soon as possible."

"You have nothing to worry about, Sue." Twilight acknowledged. "She will be under my protection from now on and if I ever catch those dimwits harassing Carrie again, they'll have to deal with me instead."

"Thank you, Princess." Sue replied as she left the train station.

After Sue disappeared, Twilight helped Carrie pack up her bags and load them up into the baggage cart. Just when the train arrived, Twilight and Sue went on board, leaving their luggage at the storage car, and made found seatings at one of the passenger cars. Just as soon as Carrie sat on a couch across from Twilight, she notices that several other unicorns were snickering and started muttering phrases like "Creepy Carrie," "Carrie is a wimp," "Carrie is a whore," and "Carrie sucks." Ultimately, Twilight turned around to face the other ponies who are making sick jokes about Carrie and gave them a scary-looking glare at them. Upon seeing Twilight staring at them in a defensively, hostile manner, the ponies slowly backed away in fear and left the passenger car that Twilight and Carrie are in without saying another word.	





Meanwhile at Ponycadero, the royal guards were still having a hard time trying to secure Margaret White into one of the holding cells after she was involuntary admitted into the institution. Upon making a clearance through the security checkpoint, they were able to uncover documents from the White Residence stating that Margaret had a history of mental disorders that remained untreated for nearly 15 years. After signing in the application for her involuntary admission at Ponycadero, Margaret White was getting dragged by the royal guards for refusing cooperation, screaming that she needs to punish sinners in the name of Faust. Despite her wild rantings, the guards finally threw her into holding cell 2BA at the second floor of Ponycadero. 

"SOMEDAY, YOU WILL ALL REGRET FOR YOUR SINS!!!" Margaret screeched as she relentlessly banged on the cell door with all her might. "THAT ROYAL WHORE WILL REGRET THE DAY SHE CROSS PATHS WITH ME, ALONG WITH THAT WRETCHED DAUGHTER OF MINE!!!!!"
> First Days in Ponyville

Back at Canterlot, on the next day after the locker room incident, Princess Celestia ordered one of the best PE teachers at the School for Gifted Unicorns to have the every female unicorn that was in the locker room line up outside onto the exercise field. As soon as every unicorn was out onto the field, an elder unicorn appeared before them. She was none other than Ms. Rita. She had a red fur coat with the green mane and tail. Rita bears the cutie mark of a white soccer ball. Upon standing in front of the female unicorn PE students, Rita makes her announcement without hesitation.

"All ladies. Listen up and listen good." Rita shouted at the top of her lungs. "Princess Celestia had a talk with me about the incident that you insensitive little whores have caused in front of Carrie. She's not a doll that you could screw around with; SHE'S A PONY WHO HAS FEELINGS JUST LIKE THE REST OF YOU BRAINLESS LOT!!!"

Upon hearing Rita's angry shouting, the rest of the females unicorns started at her in shock. Others started looking at each other for a couple of seconds before they faced Rita again. Upon realizing what they had done, the entire crowd remained speechless, afraid of what kind of punishment will Rita throw at them. Before any pony could say another word, Rita continues her speech in front of the crowd.

"I was contemplating on having all of you worthless maggots suspended from this Faust-Forsaken school and banned from the upcoming Grand Galloping Gala." Rita said in anger. "However, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna went over these punishments with me and they suggested for me to have you all spend one-week of detention in this gym resorting to boot-camp style exercises. So, unless you all follow through this one-week of exercise, you will be banned from the Gala until next year. DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR?!!!!"

"YES MA'AM!!!" The entire unicorn crowd responded, not wanting to enrage her any further.

"GOOD. NOW GET YOUR FLANKS UP ON THE TRACK!!!" Rita said as she shouted orders to the female unicorns. "You all owe me twelve laps around the field. GO!!!"




First week; Day 1

At the Train Station in Ponyville, Twilight and Carrie have both arrived. When they both got off the train, Twilight's guards helped carry Carrie's luggage all the way to Twilight's Castle. Upon arriving at the Castle of Friendship, Carrie could not help but see so many gorgeous features all around Twilight's domain. It was a giant crystalized tree with a purple house with golden rooftops way up above the top floor of the castle. At the entrance, there is 2 huge golden doors with a golden staircase in front of it. On both sides of the door, there are purple windows. Up above the left side of the Castle, Carrie sees a golden flag post and on it there is a purple flag that displays Twilight's Cutie Mark. At the top of the purple house, there is a huge light-blue crystalized star behind the castle tower in the middle. Upon seeing all of this, Carrie stood there awestruck by such beautiful Castle designs. 

"Wow, Twilight. Is this where you live?" Carrie asked while still in shock. "It's so beautiful."

"That's right, Carrie." Twilight chuckled with a smile on her face. "A true princess is not without a good castle. Ever since me and my friends defeated Tirek, this Castle was established for me by a magical lockbox that was located in the Everfree Forest, right where the Tree of Harmony was at. It's got more than 50 guest bedrooms, a library, a kitchen, a map room, a top floor pool, and a dinning area. So please, make yourself at home and if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask me or Spike."

"Who's Spike?" Carrie asked nervously.

"He's a young dragon that I raised ever since I started attending Princess Celestia's school." Twilight answered. "He's my first friend and my number one assistant. I was the only one who treated him like he was my little brother."

"He's a dragon???" Carrie shrieked.

"Yes, but try not to get the wrong idea. Spike was already well-adapted to living in Ponyville and in Canterlot with me." Twilight acknowledged. "The guards will help you store your stuff inside one of the Castle's guest bedrooms. I'll introduce you to my other friends in Ponyville later on."

"T-Thank you, Princess." Carrie said as she smiled weakly.

"Oh and by the way, you don't really have to call me 'Princess' if you don't want to." Twilight suggested. "Just call me Twilight; I feel more comfortable in not being addressed formally by my friends too often."

"O-Okay, Twilight." Carrie responded as she lets herself inside the castle, with Twilight's guards following her while carrying her luggage.

As Carrie went inside the castle, along with her escort guards, Princess Celestia appeared right next to Twilight. The moment Twilight turned around to face her former mentor, Celestia stared at her with one of her eyebrows lifting up above her eye out of curiosity. Before Twilight could say anything, Celestia asked first about what happened since yesterday.

"I just received word that you arrested and locked up Carrie's mother in Ponycadero yesterday." Celestia explained in a suspicious tone. "Do you want to tell me why?"

"I did asked for her approval if I can let Carrie stay with me for awhile but she just flipped out in an instant." Twilight explained. "Before I even knew it, Margaret just assaulted me and the Royal guards. You should see the look on her face when she gave us quiet a scare. Three royal guards were sent to the hospital to be treated of their minor injuries after they locked Margaret up."

"Well, I guess it seems that Margaret went way beyond our control. I'm glad you were able to put her down, just to ensure Carrie's safety." Princess Celestia. "I was just asking because I was trying to make sure that you're alright. Truthfully, I was having serious doubts about her when I first met her on the very same day that she first attended my School at Canterlot."

"You mean Margaret White was...." Twilight asked before Celestia interrupted her speech.

"When I first met her, even before you were born Twilight, she did showed herself to be a normal young unicorn who was harmless, or so I thought." Celestia explained. "During the years of her semester, I did noticed that she had small cuts all over her body with a few strands of her mane pulled out of her head. The rest of her classmates were getting pretty scared of her. One day, after I caught her crucifying one of the students in this one classroom, I had no choice but to expel her from the school for displaying such dangerous behavior in the public. When she was a little filly, she used to live in the countryside of Appleloosa and attended church there every week. For her parents, she was despised by her mother and father after accusing them for their sins with extreme prejudice. When she turned into her mid-30's, I heard screaming and ranting coming from her house back in Canterlot. I tried to help her, but she eventually turned me away, believing in the name of Faust that she can still take care of herself. A couple of years later after you were born, she gave birth to Carrie, right after her husband left her. During the time she raised her daughter, Margaret became even more zealously forceful than ever. Sometimes, when I take strolls around the city streets of Canterlot, I see her through the windows of her house, dragging and chastising her daughter Carrie all over the place due to reasons that I don't understand. Just when I was about to enter her house, Margaret used her magic to form a huge barrier around it, preventing all means of access, and warned me that 'If you ever set hoof in my house again, I'll crucify you and make you bleed to death!!!' Upon hearing this, my face turned pale and I just stood there scared not knowing what to do."

"Why didn't you do anything about it when you still had the chance, even before I was born??" Twilight asked the sun princess. "She almost strangled me to death when I first met her, as if she thought I was going to kidnap Carrie."

"She was scaring me, the same way Nightmare Moon scared the living vibes out of me. I thought she was just a messed-up mother of a unicorn that needs to calm down. So, I gave her a week or two to see if she was able to come to her senses." Celestia explained to Twilight. "Well, I guess it's like what you said. You arrested her for assaulting you and the Royal guards. I should've dealt with Margaret sooner before you came in, but no, it was already too late."

"I do wonder what they'll do to Margaret in Ponycadero?" Twilight asked to herself.

"Well, one can only hope my dear. I'll be heading back to Canterlot." Princess Celestia announced as she unfurled her white wings. "I'll report back to you to check up on how Carrie is doing while visiting Ponyville. For now, just do your best to keep her safe."

"Understood, Princess Celestia." Twilight acknowledge as she sees her mentor flying up into the clear, blue sky before disappearing from plain sight.





Back at the School of Gifted Unicorns, Ms. Rita ordered the students to conduct several more exercises, ranging from push-ups with their hooves to one hour of relay races in three repetitions. Just when every pony was cooperating, Chris Hargensen, who was doing 20 more laps along with the rest of the students and Sue, finally snapped. 

"I can't take much more of this. Why would any pony want to help Carrie anyway?? She's nothing more than a worthless little whore." Chris muttered to herself while running with Sue. "I'm going to give that Rita piece of my mind!!!"

"Chris, don't do it. You'll be facing more bigger punishments if you do." Sue protested as she lit up her horn.

"You wanna bet, Sue?" Chris snarled as she turned towards the light-brown unicorn with hostility in her eyes.

After a few minutes of silence, Sue could feel the horror crawling up in her spine and backed away from the hostile unicorn mare. Chris turned her face away from Sue and faced Rita. Behind Chris, the rest of the students stopped running and stared at Chris in horror. As soon as Chris got closer to Rita, Chris started issuing verbal threats right behind her back. Suddenly without warning, Rita smacked Chris across the face, enraging the unicorn even more. 

"WHY YOU.....!!!" Chris roared as she lit up her horn and was about to use her magic on her PE Teacher. 

Unfortunately, by the time Chris fired her magic at Rita, the light-brown unicorn reacted by casting a red shield barrier to block Chris' magic. Before Chris could do anything else, she was met by a powerful shockwave that Rita unleashed from her horn and is sent crashing into the bleachers. As soon as Chris got up on her hooves, Rita teleported herself in front of her face and lifted her up above from where Rita was standing with her hooves.

"YOU WANT MORE? YOU WANT MORE? HUH??!!" Rita shouted at the top of her lungs before throwing her to the ground in anger. After a few minutes of silence, Chris shook her head in fearing for her life. Before she knew it, Rita makes her speech towards Chris out of anger and frustration. 

"Chris Hargensen, you are hear by banned from the Grand Galloping Gala until next year. NOW GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!!!!"

Without giving it another thought, Chris got up on her hooves again and grabbed her bags with her magic before leaving the area but not before she gave Rita an evil smirk while making her last speech in front of her face.

"This isn't over, Ms. Rita." Chris snarled at the PE Teacher. "IT'S NOT OVER!!!"

As Chris stormed her way out of the school temporarily defeated by Rita, the rest of the unicorn students went back to their boot-camp exercise routine, along with Sue Snell.

"I never like Chris' greedy ambitions." Sue muttered to herself as she went back to continue with her laps around the track. "I just hope Princess Twilight is able to do better with Carrie at Ponyville."





Meanwhile, back at Twilight's Castle in Ponyville, Carrie was able to unload her luggage and set everything up in her guest room. Her new room up on the second floor of Twilight's Castle, which is near the grand staircase in the main foyer. As soon as she is done, Carrie laid on top of her bed facing the ceiling from above, with her arms and legs spread out wide. After resting for a couple of minutes, Carrie starts to wonder what will it be like living someplace else, way from the other areas where her bad memories took place at. Just when she was about to fall asleep, Carrie hears a knock coming from outside of her bedroom. The moment she used her magic to open the door, a little baby dragon appears before Carrie. The dragon had purple and green scales. He only appears to be a few feet shorter than an average pony. Upon seeing the little dragon, Carrie couldn't help but see such an adorable creature like him. Before Carrie could say anything, the little dragon approached her holding a small tray of food for her to eat.

"Hello. My name is Spike." The dragon said as he introduced himself. "Twilight told me that you're going to be staying in our Castle for quiet some time. Carrie White, isn't it?! Well, you're going to love living in Ponyville with us because it won't matter what kind of pony or creature we meet, we'll always find solutions to make peace than rather war with them. Here, I've brought something for you eat."

"T-Thank you, Spike." Carrie said as she used her magic to lift the tray close to her while eating the food that Spike gave her. "So, is there any pony else that you and Twilight would want me to meet?"

"Why, yes." Spike answered in a positive tone. "They're all waiting for you outside of the Castle entrance."

After Carrie finished eating, she put the tray away and walked down to the main foyer with Spike. As soon as she came down the stairs, Twilight appeared in front of her with a smile on her face. Not a moment too soon, Twilight and Spike led Carrie at the main entrance, only for her to greet five more ponies. Unlike back in Canterlot, Carrie notices that not every pony is actually a unicorn. The only unicorn out of the five ponies is none other than the white unicorn fashionista. She had lovely, blue eyes and a purple mane and tail, bearing the cutie mark of three shiny diamonds. On her right, there is an female orange farm pony with the blond mane and tail, tied with a red braid, that bears the cutie mark of three bright red apples. The farm pony is wearing a cowboy hat on top of her head. Next to the farm pony, there is a hyperactive pink pony that enjoys jumping up and down. She has a pink body and mane, who also bears the cutie mark of three balloons. On the right of the pink pony, there are two female pegasus. One happens to be a yellow mare with the pink mane and tail that bears the cutie mark of three butterflies and the other is a light-blue mare than has a rainbow mane and tail that bears the cutie mark of white cloud with a rainbow-like lighting bolt. Upon seeing all five ponies smiling at her, Carrie starts getting nervous and immediately cowers behind Twilight's back.

"Come on, Carrie. They're not really bad ponies." Twilight spoke to the frightened unicorn before introducing her to the Mane 5. "From left to right, this is Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash. I've known them for a very long time and that they never hesitate in helping other ponies out."

"B-But, there's so many of them. I-I don't w-where to start!!!" Carrie stammered while freaking out. 

"Man, this poor young sugar cube is ah thousand times more scared than ah young chicken!!" Applejack muttered.  

"OOOoooooooo!!!" Pinkie exclaimed as her eyes bugged out from her face out of curiosity. "Looks like some pony needs to have a cheer-up party!!!"

"So Twi, what's her story?" Rainbow Dash asked the purple alicorn.

"Well, from the account of her background at the School of Gifted Unicorns of Canterlot, it's my understanding that Carrie had a bad history of violent abuse, bullying, and humiliation in front of her classmates." Twilight explained. "What's worse is that, her mother cannot help her at all."

"Why not, darling?" Rarity asked. "I thought for sure that she had parents that could support her like we do, right?"

"Maybe for us Rarity, but not for her. You see, Carrie's mother, Margaret White, happens to be a religious fanatic that was forcing her daughter to repent from her sins, every single day, like buck am I ever going to believe that!!!" Twilight said as she answered Rarity's question, followed by a grunt. "And her father was never there with her during the time that Carrie suffering against her own will."

Upon hearing what Twilight just said, the entire Mane 5 all gasped in horror upon realizing how hurt Carrie was. After a few minutes of silence, Applejack finally stepped in.

"Whoa, neilly. Ah bet she had a horrendous bucket of mental, scary habits that were never cooled off for even da slightest." Applejack exclaimed in shock. "She must've had a really bad family to start off with, ah?!"

"You got that right, Applejack." Twilight acknowledged. "You guys should've seen it. That crazy lady unicorn almost took it out on me and the royal guards."

"So, what did you do, exactly?" Fluttershy asked in a soft-spoken tone.

"I arrested Margaret White for her immediate assault and locked her up in the Ponycadero Mental Institution." Twilight said as she spoke to Fluttershy. "This may be a very harsh thing to do, but it's the only way to make sure Carrie's mother doesn't interfere with her daughter's rehabilitation in Ponyville."

After hearing their conversation, Carrie reluctantly came out from behind Twilight and introduced herself to the group.

"I'm wondering, how did you guys able to live here happily without suffering??" Carrie asked nervously.

"Well, sugarcube. We were able to gain a good reputation here by pursuing our dreams to fulfill our destinies." Applejack said. 

"L-Like what??" Carrie asked while still nervous around Applejack.

Before any pony could say anything, Applejack stared at Carrie while she raised her eye brow up above her left right eye, followed by a smug on her face before answering Carrie's question with a song.

I'm serious, silly, and stern. My glaring could hurdle cattle.
And violence wise, my hooves are not the cleanest.
But despite my roughneck look, and my freckles, and my hat,
I've always yearned to be an Apple Farmer
Can't you see me bucking apples from the trees,
Knocking them into the buckets till they pile

Before Carrie could understand what's going on, she sees Twilight and the rest of her friends lifting themselves up and down with their heads as they started singing along.

Though, I do like breaking wood,

Like every pony else, I've got a dream

As the Mane 6 started making a joyful choir, a strange creature appeared behind Fluttershy, much to Carrie's fright. However, Fluttershy told her that it's alright because the creature happens to be none other than a draconneques named Discord who's also her "Best Friend For Eternity Times Two." As Discord joined in the melody, he adds his singing voice along with the rest of Twilight's friends.

I've got scales and feathers and fur
Plus something here that oozes
And let's not even mention my complexion
Despite my different horns, my goatee, and my tail
I really want to make a love connection


During his singing, Discord used his magic to summon a rowboat, with him and Fluttershy riding in it. Without further a due, Discord summoned an oar to paddle with as he and Fluttershy rowed down through the grassy fields.

Though I'm one freaky blighter,
I'm a lover, not a fighter

As Discord lifted Fluttershy above his head, the yellow pegasus unfurled her wings and flew in a circle above the Mane 5.

There's a filly behind it dreaming,

Lily would like to quit and be a florist

Claude does little puppet shows

"Well, what about Spike?" Carrie asked Twilight. "What's his dream??"

"Heh. Heh. Heh." Spike snickered before he starts singing. "Well Carrie, now that you mentioned it, it goes on like this:"

I have dreams like you, no really
Just much a less touchy-feely
They mainly happen somewhere warm and sunny
On an island that I own, tanned, rested, and with Rarity
Surrounded by enormous piles of Gems.

Lastly, Twilight unfurls her wings and flies up into air, announcing her dream in front of Carrie and the rest of the mane 5 while flapping her wings.

Finally altogether, the entire Mane 6 decided to finish their song with one exciting speech. After listening to their song, Carrie started smiling out of relief and excitement.

After the Mane 6 and Spike finished their song with a loud cheer, Carrie could not help but clap with both of her hooves in a happy, positive way.

"Wow, that was wonderful. I never knew all of your dreams were that amazing." Carrie said as she smiled. "I hope one day, I will be able to discover my dream too."

"Don't ya worry, sugar cube." Applejack said. "One day, you will find your dream and your destiny here in Equestria."

"So darling, who do you want to start with??" Rarity said as she asked Carrie.

"Well, I want to see what I could learn from Fluttershy first." Carrie responded.

"Be my guest, Carrie." Fluttershy said as she acknowledged Carrie's request. "If you're ready, my cottage will be up north of Ponyville. See you then."

As soon as Fluttershy and Discord left the area, the rest of the Mane 4 went back to their homes to rest up for the next day. After realizing how entertaining and supportive Twilight's friends are, Carrie was able to find a bit of happiness once more. As for Twilight, she called Carrie back in for some magic teachings. Without hesitation, Carrie accepts Twilight's request and studied magic with her. After several hours of practicing magic, Twilight notices that Carrie possess very powerful telekinesis after Carrie used her magic to lift up all of the objects in the Castle Library. Upon seeing how amazing Carrie was with her magic, Twilight decided to give a couple of lectures in harnessing it.

"I'm pretty impressed on how intense and how powerful your telekineses spells are. However, if you're going back to Canterlot for any reason, I strongly advise you not to get too carried away with it." Twilight told Carrie, leaving her with a fair warning.

"Why not?" Carrie asked.

"Ever since I met you, I could sense your desire for revenge against some particular pony back in Canterlot." Twilight Sparkle said in a serious tone. "I should warn you, though, that your grudges will not get you anywhere because you'll be heading down towards a path of destruction and death in its wake. As a result, it will not end well for you or either of us."

"Well, there was this one unicorn pony named Chris Hargensen. She and her gang where the ones who wouldn't stop picking on me, the moment I set hoof in Princess Celestia's School." Carrie explained while worrying about her future and her life. "I mean, what am I supposed to do if I were to face them again?"

"You don't; I'll deal with them, Carrie. After all, I still have full royal authority to subdue any pony that proves to be a threat to our very existence. Besides, Princess Celestia already taught me on how to use magic for good than rather use magic for bad." Twilight said as she answered Carrie's question. "For now, just train yourself to let go of what you fear to lose."




Meanwhile back at Canterlot, after hearing about how Chris was suspended from the school and banned from the Gala, her father came storming into Princess Celestia's office and threatened to sue her and the school staff for not letting her attend the Grand Galloping Gala. Unfortunately, because how strong the evidence was when they claimed that Chris' misbehavior towards Carrie really was, they threatened Mr. Hargensen back with an intent of deducting half of his entire vault of bits to cover up the damages done on Carrie and the School. After her father gave up on her, Chris' anger started boiling over. As a matter of fact, Chris still blamed Carrie for what Rita did to her.

"Dammit. I hate Carrie White!!" Chris muttered to herself in anger as she left the school.

Back at home, Chris decided to contact her friends and her boyfriend Billy Nolan and his gang for an important meeting. In her mind, Chris is planning to pull of the most excruciating prank on Carrie, a prank where no pony will ever forget. As soon as she met one of her friends outside the Hargensen residence, Chris makes her decision.

"Tina, send word to Billy Nolan, his gang at Manehattan, and to the rest of our friends." Chris ordered. "Tell them to meet me at Ponyville."

First week; Day 2

After one day of training with Twilight Sparkle over magic, Carrie gets escorted by Flash Sentry and several other guards to Fluttershy's Cottage. There, she meets up with Discord, Fluttershy, and her pet rabbit, Angel. As the guards left to hang out at a nearby lake, Chris and her friends meet up with each other at a nearby alleyway in the marketplace. For Twilight, she and Spike went down to the marketplace to pick up some groceries and meet up with Mayor Mare for a couple of errands to run. In the alleyways, Chris decides to hatch a plan to get back at Carrie. The moment Billy Nolan shows up, he reveals himself to be an black earth pony with a red-orange mane and tail. He bears the cutie mark of a silver wheel engulfed by a bright red fireball. He was wearing a black jacket embroidered with grey linings with a hot wheel emblem behind its back. Behind Billy, there is four earth ponies and four pegasus. They were wearing that same black jackets as Billy is. As for Chris' friends, she had Tina and three more female unicorns by her side. Of all the unicorns in Chris' group, Tina Blake is a yellow unicorn with a magenta mane and tail who bears the cutie mark of a grey ring. In all, there were fourteen ponies who are poised to humiliate Carrier in front of the public again. Even though Billy and his gang are unaware of what Chris is thinking, they still decide to go with the plan that Chris is intending to hatch.

"Alright, every pony. Here's the plan. We have two weeks before the Grand Galloping Gala takes place at Canterlot. So, we must make this quick before the time comes." Chris announced to the two groups of pony thugs. "We need a few ponies to grab one of those pigs at Applejack's Farm and taken to the Everfree Forest to have it butchered. Next, we drain the pig's blood into a metal bucket and keep it safe. As soon as we make our way back to Canterlot, before the Gala, we need to break into the Canterlot Palace and hide that blood-filled bucket in a place where no pony will see it in plain sight. We'll tie the bucket with a very long string that'll reach down beneath the floors at where the Gala will take place. I will be the one who shall hide underneath the floors. I do need some pony to fill most of the ballots with Carrie's name on it so that she can go up to the stage where she'll be hailed as the winner of the Gala Queen competition. The moment she's on stage, I'll spring the trap. After we're done, we'll all meet back at Ponyville to celebrate at our favorite place, old castle of the Two Royal Sisters. Any questions?"

"I have one." Billy responded to Chris. "If any of the Princesses of Equestria get a wind of our plan, we'll get our flanks busted. How are we going to deal with that?"

"We'll have to keep them and their guards distracted long enough to proceed with our plan." Chris answered.

"Well, let's not forget Princess Twilight." Tina told Chris. "She's always has her eyes everywhere in Canterlot and is known to be the first pony that's popular at Celestia's School. After the fight she had with Lord Tirek while defending Equestria, there's no telling how powerful she is at the moment. I mean, because she bears the Element of Magic, her spells can be very deadly and unpredictable."

"Don't worry about it, Tina. I'll take care of her myself." Chris replied. "And absolutely no other pony is to hear about this, NOT ONE WORD OF IT!!! Any more questions?"

After a few minutes of silence, Chris immediately dismisses the group in order to carry out her plan to humiliate Carrie. As soon as all of her friends left, Chris went to the marketplace to buy several tools until she sees Twilight at the Gazebo speaking to Mayor Mare. Just when Chris approached the purple alicorn while unaware of her presence, several guards appeared in front of her and blocked her way with their spears while giving the female unicorn stern looks from their faces. 

"Don't even think about it, Missy!!!" One of the guards snarled as he held his spear, blocking Chris' path with it.

After she was done speaking to the Mayor and sees her go back inside to her office, Twilight turns around to see Chris Hargensen staring at her with hostile looks in her eyes, followed by a small smirk on her face. Upon staring at each other for a couple of minutes, Chris makes her first speech in front of the purple alicorn.

"Hello, Princess." Chris said in sly tone. "How's Carrie doing?"

"That's none of your concern, Chris." Twilight responded as she glared at Chris. 

"Well, why do you even care about that wimpy little whore?" Chris asked in a jeering tone. 

"I care, because just like every other pony, Carrie deserves to be treated fairly and without fear." Twilight responded. "If you think you got a problem with that, you may face even more than just getting expelled from being invited to the Grand Galloping Gala. If I were to own the School of Gifted Unicorns as their headmistress, I would've had you turned over to the security immediately for your constant bullying or write you up for one year of school detention."

"Yeah well, I thought for sure that you'd be the top of every pony else after you ascended towards your Princess status, always being high and mighty and taking advantage of those who have less power than you." Chris cackled in an evil tone. "You were my idol too. I always wanted to be like you too. You know, have all the power I could get in order to have ponies praise me. But what's this, you gave up your own pride and ambition just so that you'd look after that miserable wretch of a unicorn? Are you really that naive, soft-hearted, and dim-witted, like your snobbish mentor?"

"YOU DARE DEFY ME???!!!!" Twilight growled as she snapped with her horn lighting up. "Well, listen up Chris Hargensen and listen good. You are in NO position to lecture me on how I should treat my subjects and Carrie White. This is my kingdom, my domain, my turf. I make the rules here. I make the decisions. I make the threats, not you. And more importantly, Carrie White is now under my protection upon Princess Celestia's request. Do you really think that I am some kind of noble pony that wouldn't take royal duties like this very seriously?!!! Do you really think I'm that stupid enough to personally abuse such power as this?!! Don't you know how to do anything besides ridicule others?! Well guess what? I didn't gained the title as the 'Princess of Friendship just for the fun of it; I am dedicated to help ponies and other creatures get along with each other without fear and with harmony and joy. If I were to be prideful and ambitious, Princess Celestia will never let me get very far in her studies nor would I end up becoming like this. Besides, I was grateful that I'm able make Celestia proud of me because of what I am right now. Therefore, I am responsible for helping others before me; that's the only power that I'm expecting myself to use. Yet, you stand right here trying to test my patience over some pony else that just wanted to fit right in??!!!"

"Well, what are you going to do about it now, Princess?" Chris smirked weakly while still being blocked by Twilight's guards.

In just less than a minute, Twilight used her magic to summon a sheet of paper and shoved it at Chris' chest. The moment Chris used her magic to read the paper that Twilight gave to her, her eyes widened with shock after seeing what it says.

"W-What the BUCK is this??" Chris asked in horror.

"That paper that I gave to you just now?" Twilight hissed at Chris before shouting in a Royal Canterlot voice. "That is a restraining order. It guarantees the fact that if you lay another hoof on Carrie in any threatening way possible or make any attempts of stalking her in the future, YOU WILL BE ARRESTED AND LOCKED UP IN THE DUNGEONS OF CANTERLOT. DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR??!!!"

"Y-Yes, your majesty." Chris stammered in fear of her life and her freedom, as she slowly backed away.

"And don't forget that I received this order from Princess Celestia for you to pick up and that it's issued by Princess Luna herself." Twilight added on. "So, from this point on, we've got our eye on you, young lady!!! Because you have denied friendship towards Carrie White, either you stay the hell away from her or I'LL PUT YOU DOWN MYSELF!!! NOW, GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!!!!"

After hearing such intense speech from the raging purple alicorn, Chris immediately fled in horror not wanting to give Twilight any more scary ideas coming out of her head. The moment Chris disappeared from plain sight, Twilight turns her back towards the entrance of the City Hall only to be meet by a crowd of ponies staring at her under a state of shock and silence. Upon seeing the public paralyzed from what Twilight just said to Chris, the purple alicorn makes her small speech towards them before they could say anything.

"Sorry about that, every pony. I don't know what is going on in Chris Hargensen's head, but she was almost getting in my way for starters, thinking that I was better than the rest, even though that's not true."

After hearing what Twilight said to them, the crowd dispersed in silence and went back to what they were doing moments earlier. As soon as the Mayor came out of her office, she handed Princess Twilight some vacancy papers to fill out for Carrie White during her stay in Ponyville.

"Princess Twilight, are you feeling okay?" The Mayor asked. "I heard some shouting coming from outside of my office."

"Sorry about that Mayor," Twilight replied in a embarrassed tone. "Let's just say that some insensitive pony almost got in my way."

Later on, as Chris meet up with the rest of her friends, she started hyperventilating, leaving most of them confused and worried about her. Upon seeing her marefriend in such a frightened state, Billy came out of the group and took Chris to a nearby park to help calm her down after being traumatized from what Princess Twilight just told her. 





At Fluttershy's cottage, Discord and Fluttershy invited Carrie for some tea. As Carrie went inside, she sees all sorts of adorable little critters walking around and munching their food. They were various little rabbits, mice, ferrets, and parrots all over the place. Despite having so many animals in her home, Carrie found it surprising that Fluttershy is able to take care of the lot of them without lifting any hooves. Right next to Fluttershy, there is a little white rabbit named Angel carrying a full tea set on top of a metal tray. Upon seeing the shy unicorn, Angel started snickering at Carrie only for Fluttershy to give her pet "the stare." The moment Angel sees the look on Fluttershy's face, the bunny silently freaks out and slowly backs away. After Angel left the room, Fluttershy turns around to face Carrie, who is sitting across from where she was, with Discord sitting between the two ponies.

"Sorry about that, Carrie." Fluttershy said while sympathizing the frightened unicorn. "Angel can be a bit spoiled and mischievous sometimes."

"How did you do that? You know, when you looked at him in the eyes, he started cowering and backed away from you immediately." Carrie asked out of curiosity.

"Whenever I meet creatures that are being mean and hostile towards my friends, give them the stare." Fluttershy smirked. "Despite my past shy-riddled nature, I'm not as cowardly as I seem."

"Really?" Carrie asked, wanting to know more about Fluttershy. "How is it that you were able to overcome your fears?"

"It's like this," Fluttershy explained as she took another sip from her tea cup. "Whenever my friends are in danger, I have to be assertive against my enemies. This one time when I went out at night to find Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom, and Scootaloo they accidentally ran into a hostile cockatrice. They have the head of a chicken and a body of a snake. The worse part is, that they're known to turn ponies and creatures into stone just by looking at them in the eye. After seeing one of my chickens and Twilight turned into stone, I confronted that Cockatrice, giving him a terrifying stare. As I won over "the stare," I ordered him to turn my chicken and Twilight back to normal, leaving him behind a warning not to ever catch him doing it again."

"Wow. That I guess even shy ponies have unique devastating abilities to deal with certain situations as this," Carrie said while being astonished after hearing Fluttershy's story.

"So, what I'm trying to say is, that you just need to have the courage to stand up for others, as well as standing up for yourself!" Fluttershy added. "You can't run away from your problems forever, Carrie; even I can't."

"But, it's not just Chris that I'm having problems with, there were like four more unicorns in her group that wouldn't stop hurting me!!" Carrie sniffed as she looked down to right were her hooves are, with tears dripping down on to the table. 

Before Carrie could say anything else, the yellow pegasus went over to her side and hugged her in her arms, telling her that it's okay to be scared but it won't make her weak. As soon as the unicorn and pegasus finished embracing each other, Discord makes his speech in front of Carrie.

"I'm sure you're wondering why Fluttershy and the Mane 5 don't fear me," Discord said as begins his story from top to bottom. "I used to be a tyrant that spreads Chaos and Disharmony all over Equestria for over more than a thousand years. That is, until I was imprisoned behind stone by the Royal Sisters. When I first met Fluttershy and her friends, I put their elements of Harmony to the test to see if they really are worth wielding them. Eventually, they all succeeded in putting me down again. The second time I faced them again was when Fluttershy was able to get right through me when the others failed. Because she bears the element of kindness, she still cares about me as much as she cares about her animal friends and her fellow ponies. Despite how bad I was before then, I now know that having friends that enjoy being chaotic with me is actually all that I need to start living in a happy life in Equestria."

"Does that mean...." Carrie asked before Discord finished her sentence.

"It may not always work, but there's still a chance that there might be some good in others," Discord continued. "You just have learn how to believe in yourself that some pony will try to be friends with you. Just try not to give up hope, Carrie."

"I understand." Carrie responded with self-confidence. "Can I see your other animal friends?"

"Why, absolutely." Fluttershy smiled as she put her tea cup on the table. "Follow me."

As Fluttershy, Carrie, and Discord went outside to see the other animals, Twilight spots them from a distance. Upon seeing Carrie smiling with the yellow pegasus and the Draconneques, Twilight sees her fitting in quite nicely with the first of the Mane 5 and made a big smile on her face.




At Ponycadero, Margaret White is brought before a dark-blue earth pony wearing a grey formal suit, who happens to be a psychologist working in the mental institution. His name, which was labeled on his badge, is Dr. Azure Verden. He has a mix of silver and green mane and tail and bears the cutie mark of a balancing scale. After going over Margaret's paperwork and went through everything relating to her case, after gathering all the evidence from her house, Dr. Verden decides to do some consulting with the insane, old unicorn. Both the earth pony and the unicorn are inside a small room sitting in front of a metal table across from each other. On both sides of Margaret, there are two guards watching her every move. Margaret is seen having shackles on both of her hooves and a muzzle strapped to her face, while leaning on the table and staring straight at Dr. Verden. Before Margaret could say anything, the earth pony psychologist makes his first speech in front of her.

"So Mrs. Margaret White, it's been clear that you were having some serious mental issues with your daughter for more than 15 years," Dr. Verden announced to the old insane unicorn. "Tell me, is there really anything that you would consider from Carrie that isn't a sin?"

After giving it some thought, Margaret looks at the pictures of Carrie on the table for a few minutes before facing Verden again. Margaret takes a few deep breaths first before answering Verden's question.

"I don't really know how to answer a question like that, sir," Margaret spoke in a frail voice. "Ever since I devoted myself towards Christianity in Appleloosa, I always believed that the world of Equestria is unhealthy and that it must be completely cleansed of all sins no matter what."

"But, do you honestly think that it's necessary to take something like that out on Princess Celestia and then out on Princess Twilight Sparkle?" Dr. Verden asked. "They were just only trying to help others, not cause anything sinful or tyrannical."

"WHY DO I CARE??" The old unicorn screeched as she was held against her own will by the two guards behind her. "They still can't possibly think that they'll get away with taking my daughter away from me!!! THEY HAVE TO PAY, ALL OF THEM!!!"

"This isn't about you or your daughter Margaret White," Dr. Verden sighed. "This is about finding ways to forgive yourself and those that you hurt without relying on such forceful convictions."  

"Well, what about the other races that you ponies brought in??" Margaret asked while still being restrained by the prison guards. "You know, the griffins, the buffalos, and the donkeys. They're just going to infect the entire pony race further with their sins!!!"

"Perhaps, we'll discuss this another time!!" Dr. Verden suggested the zealous unicorn. "Guards, take her back to her cell."

After the two guards grabbed her by the neck and dragged her out of the room, Verden put all of the pictures back into the folder, labeling Margaret White, and headed back to his office. 




Twilight finds herself in a dark area of the Old Castle of the Two Sisters. As she made her way down the hall, the purple alicorn hears blood-curdling screams echoing throughout the corridors. When the screaming intensified, Twilight reaches toward a nearby room on her right. The moment she opens up the door, Twilight spots the entire room covered up in pony blood. On the walls, Twilight sees terrified ponies being crucified both left and right with wooden stakes nailing their hooves to the tall, huge cross. One of them is Chris Hargensen on her right and the other is Margaret White on her left. Both were screaming in pain as they feel their blood coming out of their bleeding hooves. As Twilight proceed inside the room, she could not help but witness such horrifying displays all around her. Upon seeing all of this, the purple alicorn princess vomited on the blood-soaking floors. As soon she got back up, Twilight sees an altar in a distance. All around the altar, there was fire spewing out of the cracks. In the middle of the altar, there is a unicorn pony standing right on top of it, with bloody lines drawn into a satanic-like sigil. Just when Twilight approached the altar, she sees Carrie White covered up in blood, from head to hoof, with tears coming out of her eyes. Carrie's shadow appeared behind her and transformed itself into a demonic shadowy silhouette that has tentacles with talons attached to its ends sprouting from its back, glowing blood-red eyes, and minotaur-like horns on its head. After a few minutes of silence, Twilight approaches Carrie before making her speech.

"Carrie White, what in the name of Celestia is going on here???" Twilight asked in horror not knowing what to think of this scenery.

"I-I'm sorry Twilight," Carrie cried as she lit up her horn. "Promise or no promise, I can't stand it any longer."

"Carrie, whatever you're doing here, this has to stop at once!!!" Twilight spoke intensely before shouting out loud. "THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU'RE DOING!!!"

"No, you don't understand," Carrie protested. "You can't help me anymore, no pony can."

Before Twilight could say another word, she feels herself lifting off the ground and start getting dragged away from the bloodied altar. 

"Carrie, stop!" Twilight ordered the out-of-control unicorn. "You don't have to do this!!! I can still help you!!!"

"No you can't," Carrie said as she continued to protest while pushing Twilight out of the room with her magic. "I've been hurt since on the day that I was born. JUST GO!! LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!"

"ARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!" Twilight screamed as she got sucked all the way out of the Old Castle.

As soon as Twilight hit the ground, she gets back up only to see the entire castle ruins collapse before her very eyes. The next thing Twilight saw was that the ruins fell into a massive black, bottomless pit before it completely disappeared, leaving behind a massive fire that consumed the entire ancient structure in an instant. Upon seeing all of these horrors, Twilight's eyes widened before she screamed.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" Twilight shrieked at the top of her lungs. "CARRRRRRRRRRRIIEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!"





"WAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!" Twilight screamed as she woke up from her bed, with cold sweat covering up her purple fur coat. 

After taking a few deep breaths, Twilight immediately got out of bed to check up on Carrie. As soon as she went to Carrie's bedroom, Twilight opens up a crack to see the female unicorn still fast asleep. It turns out that Twilight was just having a nightmare about Carrie's future. During the trek back to her bedroom, Twilight just realized that it's still midnight when she had this bad dream and that she still needs to go back to sleep and rest up for the next day. The moment Twilight went back to her room, she sees Princess Luna appear before her. She's a dark blue alicorn who happens to be the Princess of the Night and is known to travel through ponies' dreams. She bears the cutie mark of a black cloud with a white crescent moon in the middle. She also has flowing dark-blue mane and wears a black crown and necklace.

"It seems you've had a terrible forewarning about Carrie's future inside your dreams Princess Twilight," Princess Luna told the purple alicorn. 

"Y-Yes, I have," Twilight answered in a quiet, frightful tone. "That was most terrifying nightmare I ever had."

"You do realized that Carrie is still an emotionally disturbed young unicorn who may flip out if she gains the power to attack her tormentors out of retribution if not dealt with sooner," Princess Luna informed Twilight. "It may be just the beginning for her to understand friendship in Ponyville. However, friendship in Ponyville is very different to that of in Canterlot."

"Yeah, I know," Twilight spoke. "I mean, I already warned Carrie not to let her grudges get the best out of her. I even gave one of her tormentors a restraining order like you and Celestia wanted me to."

"But what if that's not enough?" Luna asked the purple alicorn as if she was doubting Twilight's efforts. "What if Carrie can't hold back her powers any longer? How would you respond to that? Do you even know what that nightmare is trying to tell you?"

After giving it another thought, Twilight wasn't able to come up with any good answers for Princess Luna questions.

"Let's face it, this may be the most dangerous friendship problem you and your friends have ever faced in Equestria," Luna summarized. "Trying to placate an emotionally, vulnerable pony who is like a ticking time bomb that'll blow up in any second is not going to be a cakewalk."

"Well, me and my friends will still try to do our best to make her feel comfortable in Ponyville," Twilight told Luna. "You know we can do this, Luna; I can do this."

"Just try to be careful on what you do or say to Carrie, Twilight," Luna suggested. "There's no telling how will she react to what the future will hold for her because I've got a very bad feeling about this."

"I'll do my best Princess Luna," Twilight acknowledged to the moon princess. "Thank you."

"I'll see you on the other side," Luna said as she unfurled her wings before taking off into the clear, blue night sky.

"I just hope Carrie will be hanging in there," Twilight said to herself before going back to sleep.

First week; Day 3

At the third day of visiting Ponyville, Carrie did another magical lecture with Princess Twilight after breakfast for 2 hours before Pinkie Pie came out from an unknown entry in the Castle. As soon as Carrie went to take out a book to read, Pinkie Pie jumped out of the bookcase, like a Jack-In-The-Box, making both Pinkie and Carrie scream like crazy, surprising the both of them in a heartbeat.

"Sweet Mother of Celestia, where did you come from??" Carrie shrieked after seeing Pinkie break the 4th wall. 

"I just want to check up on you to see how you're doing, other than being all gloomy and afraid." Pinkie squeaked in a happy tone, followed by a huge grin. "Say Carrie, do you want to come hang out with me at Sugar Cube Corner? Do you? Do you? Do you?"

"I uh.... Well, I...." Carrie stuttered in a nervous tone.

"It's alright Carrie." Twilight said as she sympathized with the shy unicorn. "Pinkie may have a habit of breaking the fourth wall, as well as surprising and scaring other ponies, but she only does that just for fun. There's a lot of reasons why Pinkie bears the Element of Laughter."

"Come on, Carrie. I know you hated being laughed at." Pinkie Pie said. "But you just got to learn how to have fun with your friends. In fact, I always been through this more than once, even with little fillies. After all, I do my best to make ponies smile and laugh with me, regardless of how sad and gloomy they are."

Before Carrie could say another word, Pinkie grabbed her hoof immediately and went out the Castle doors without giving it another thought. The moment Carrie and Pinkie reached Sugar Cube Corner, Carrie was meet by exploding confetti and balloons flying up to the ceiling. Inside the bakery, Carrie sees all sorts of mares drinking, eating, and laughing with each other. Some were playing all sorts of partying games, ranging from pinning the tail of the donkey to battering the pinata. At first, Carrie thought that she was going to get humiliated again, but Pinkie shoved her to a pinata to have her whack it with a stick while being blindfolded. After a few minutes, Carrie reluctantly used her magic to lift the stick up and whacked the pinata a few times, only for all sorts of candy to spill on the floor, much to the excitement of the little fillies. After doing several more party games with Pinkie Pie, Carrie felt a little more confident in hanging out with exciting events in Sugar Cube Corner. 

"I never had so much fun in all my life." Carrie said to herself as she drank a small glass of fruit punch with her magic. 

"Like what I said, there's nothing is wrong with laughing when you're happy!!!" Pinkie said as she squealed. "Come on, Carrie, the party is just beginning."

"Thank you, Pinkie Pie." Carrie smiled. "I-I'm not worthy."

After the party hosted at Sugar Cube Corner, Pinkie introduced Carrie to every pony in Ponyville. In just several introductions from the other ponies, Carrie could feel her enthusiasm and her self-confidence slowly building up. Not a moment too soon, Carrie started smiling with Pinkie Pie as they went to the Rock Farm to meet with Pinkie's family.





During the detour, Chris and her gang snuck into the Apple Farm, with the Apple residents taking a vacation at Manehattan for three days. As soon as Chris and her friends entered the area, they ensnared one of the pigs with a huge net and placed a silencing muzzle on its face, reducing the noise that'll attract unwanted attention. The next thing they did was hauling the captured pig onto a wagon before moving out.

"Okay girls, we may need to do this quickly before any pony could see us." Chris ordered her friends. "Billy and his gang will be navigating around Canterlot undercover, trying to gather as much information as possible about the Grand Galloping Gala and who's going to be on guard there."

"Say, Chris, how did it go with Princess Twilight?" Tina asked. "You were feeling totally pale since yesterday, what happened?"

"I'm afraid I have just made things worse between me and her." Chris said, still shivering in fear due to Twilight's warning. "She gave me a bucking restraining order to increase the protection of that dumbass, little bitch Carrie!!! If only I had the courage to kick her flank into next week....."

"Well, don't worry about it, Chris." One of her other unicorn friends spoke. "She maybe an alicorn princess but she'll be outnumbered from five to one."

"Don't forget that Twilight has friends of her own too and that they're not to be underestimated with under any circumstances." Chris informed her friends. "I heard that Applejack's kicking is strong enough to knock down even a tall tree without breaking a sweat, for instance!!!"

"Then, we might as well make sure they don't catch us red-handed!!!" Tina suggested.




After hanging out with Pinkie's family, Carrie felt like that she is able to learn more about Pinkie Pie than what meets the eye. Pinkie invites Carrie to dinner at a nearby restaurant back in Ponyville with Cheese Sandwich. As Carrie sat down in front of the dinner table at the restaurant, a spotlight shines down upon the Pink pony, with her colt-friend Cheese Sandwich helping her out. He is a yellow orange earth pony with dark-brown mane that bears the cutie mark of a cheese sandwich cut in two. Just like Pinkie, Cheese had a habit of putting up parties rivaling to that of the pink pony's party antics.

"My share, Mademoiselle. It is our deepest pride and our greatest pleasure that we welcome you tonight." Pinkie Pie announced. "And now, we invited you to relax, let us put up a chair as they dinning room proudly presents, your dinner."

Just when Pinkie begins her song, Carrie feels even more excited to see what kind of parties that Pinkie and her Colt friend Cheese Sandwich has in store for her.

As Pinkie pulled out the door curtain from her right, several earth ponies pushed in various parts of food up to the dinning table that Carrie is sitting next to. Upon seeing new dishes appear before her, Carrie's eyes widened with surprise and awe before Pinkie continued with her song.

Cream ragoon, Cheese souffle
Apple pie and pudding in flambe'
We prepare and serve with flair
A culinary caberet
Your alone and your scared
But the banquet's all prepared
No pony's glooming or complaining
While Trixie's entertaining
We tell jokes, I do tricks, with my fellow pony friends

As Pinkie sang along, Trixie, Cheese, Lyra, Minuette, Moon Dancer, Lemon Hearts, and Twinkleshine joined in the melody.

The moment the other ponies, except Pinkie left the area, she continues her song in a temporary, solemn tone.

Too long in Twilight's Castle, she's been lonely, needed so much more than reading
Needed exercise, a chance for us to use our skills

Meanwhile at the kitchen, Cheese Sandwich volunteered in helping the waiters and waitresses serve food to the hungry customers. As Cheese preps the food for Carrie, he continues with Pinkie's song.

Cider's been poured thank Celestia
I'll have the napkins freshly pressed
With dessert, she'll want tea
Why my dear, that's fine with me
While the chefs do their soft shoeing,

During the time Cheese did his part in Pinkie's song, he placed Carrie's dinner, along with a boiling tea kettle, tea cups, and cups filled with sugar and cream onto a moving tray and brought it to Carrie's table. Upon seeing such services respond in less than 10 minutes, Carrie started smiling again, finding the hospitality of Twilight's friends very impressive. Before she knew it, the entire restaurant staff started singing along with Pinkie Pie.

As the ponies lifted up their candles, Pinkie Pie appears at the end, wearing a top hat on her head and holding a big candy cane with her left hoof, leaning next to it. In the finale, Pinkie finishes off the song with her and Cheese dancing while lifting their canes and their hats up and down.

Just when the song ends, ponies started popping up caps from their Apple Cider bottles, with juice squirting out from both left and right at each other. All around Carrie, she sees ponies cheering and laughing for fun, much to Carrie's amazement. Before she knew it, Carrie started clapping with her hooves out of happiness.

"Thank you so much, Pinkie." Carrie said congratulating the pink party pony. "That is the most wonderful party and dinner I've ever had in all my life!!"

"Hehehehehehehe!!!!" Pinkie said while smiling and laughing at the same time. "Oh, it was nothing, Carrie. It's always been my job to make every pony smile and laugh with me. "So, do you want to party some more or do you want to go back to Twilight's Castle and rest up for the next day?"

"I want to hang out with you little more, Pinkie Pie." Carrie requested, showing a weak smile on her face.

"All righty then." Pinkie cheered while taking Care to Sugar Cube Corner again.




Meanwhile back at Twilight's Castle, Princess Twilight received a letter from Princess Celestia that she requests a meeting with her and Sue Snell back at Canterlot. As Twilight and Spike left the Castle and took flight all the way to Canterlot, Chris and Billy emerged from a nearby bush and snuck into the Friendship Castle to perform a heist, right after they butchered and drained the pig of its blood. As for Billy, right after they did some recon on the guards that'll be stationed at the Grand Galloping Gala, Chris called him over help her in her heist. From his experience, Billy is known for his strong lock-picking skills. Just when the two trouble maker ponies made their way up the stairs and into the main foyer, Billy reminded Chris on what they're looking for.

"Um, Chris. What are we looking for again?" Billy asked his female unicorn mare-friend. "You do know that breaking entry into royal property could mean trouble for us, right?!"

"I don't care, Billy!!!" Chris said in anger. "Tina informed me that a few days after Twilight got a Castle of her own in Ponyville, her sister-in-law, Princess Cadence, gave Princess Twilight a magic spell book that once belonged to an evil shadow pony known as King Sombra, who once ruled over the Crystal Empire with an Iron Fist. She wants Twilight to keep that spell book in a safe place deep within her Castle so that no pony would get their hooves on it. It's known as the 'Book of Forbidden Dark Magic.' So if anything goes wrong with our plan to humiliate Carrie White at the Gala, we need a backup plan of our own, starting with that book."

"Where do you think Princess Twilight will stash that spell book into?" Billy asked Chris. "It could be anywhere, hiding from plain sight. We might even get caught stealing or trespassing inside her castle."

"We're just going to have to take our chances then." Chris persisted. "It might be down below somewhere in the Castle's basement because no pony ever ventured anywhere in that creepy area. Instead, it's filled with spiders and cow webs and the hallways down below are barely even lit."

After Chris quietly closed the Castle doors behind her, she and Billy went downstairs leading to the dark bottom level of the Castle. In the dark hallways of the bottom level, Chris lights up her horn, casting a blue-pink light to illuminate the hallway. As they proceeded towards the end of the hallway, the two ponies see as arch, wooden door with two chains wrapped in a cross. When they got closer to the chained up door, Chris sees a metal lock attached to the chains, which is also right next to the door knob. Despite this, Billy took out a bobby pin and a screw driver from his mane and started picking the lock. After several failed attempts, Billy finally unlocked the door. 

As soon as the door opened, the chains that were barring it fell to the floor. Beyond the unlocked door, the room happens to be pitch black. However, Chris spots a switch next to the door inside the room. The moment Chris used her magic to flip the switch on, the entire room lit up revealing three bookcases at their left, a paige crystal chandelier hanging right above the ceiling, several podiums on their right, and one podium in the middle of the room. As Chris got closer to the middle podium, she sees the Book of Forbidden Dark Magic. It was a black-thick book with an attached red bookmark on its front page. On the book's cover, it displays a full image of King Sombra. In the image's background, it shows a darker version of the Crystal Empire. Impressed by the book's ominous features, Chris could not help but cackle in a sinister tone. However, just when she used her magic to lift the book up, the alarm started ringing throughout the entire castle.

"Oh Shit!!!" Billy said while startled by the alarming noise. "Chris, we've got to get out of here, NOW!!!"

"I'm on it." Chris said as she stuffed the book inside her duffle bag. "Billy hold my hoof. We're teleporting ourselves out of here!!!"

As three of Twilight's Royal Guards stormed through the dark hallways of the Castle, Chris lit up her horn and conjured a teleportation spell. Before the Royal Guards entered the room that the two ponies are in, Chris and Billy both disappeared immediately. Upon seeing the room completely empty, the guards started to have big question marks above their heads, not even understanding on who pulled off the alarms.

Meanwhile, back at the Everfree Forest, Chris and Billy appeared at the Old Castle of the Two Sisters. With the Book of Forbidden Dark Magic in their hooves, Chris and Billy laughed in a evil tone as they went inside the old Castle to meet up with the rest of their friends.

At the Castle of the Two Sisters, Chris started reading through the book of Forbidden Dark Magic at the old castle library. Outside of the library, the pig that Billy and his gang butchered up was hanging on the walls, stained with fresh pig blood. For Chris' friends and Billy's gang, they were were hanging out while playing card games and drank Apple Cider from a crate that they stole from the Apple Family's storage inside their barn. When Tina came up to Chris, while she's reading the spell book, she got curious on what is Chris is up to.

"So Chris, since when did you plan to cast dark magic on Carrie to make her suffer?" Tina asked, trying to get the full picture.

"Well Tina, when I heard that Pinkie Pie is known to make ponies laugh with her and making them smile, I'm starting to have a feeling that because of this, Carrie will not take any of this laughter personally anymore. In fact, she'll start laughing with them like it's not a big deal." Chris explained specifically. "So by reading this book, I intend to find a dark magic spell that will make Carrie go crazy against her own will; this may take awhile, though. But no matter, I'll make sure this will succeed, even if it's the last thing I do."





Back at Canterlot, during the time Chris and Billy snuck into Twilight's Castle, Twilight and Spike meet up with Sue Snell and Princess Celestia to have dinner at a fancy restaurant in the Eastern section of the city. While they're having dinner, Sue makes her first speech in front of Twilight.

"So Princess, how's Carrie doing?" Sue asked Twilight out of concern for the shy unicorn. "She's not giving you a hard time at Ponyville, is she?"

"Not at all, Sue." Twilight responded. "Everything is going quite nicely between Carrie and my friends."

"I heard that you arrested Carrie's mother and gave Chris a restraining order earlier." Sue said in astonishment. "I can't believe you're actually that brave in doing things like that."

"Believe me Sue, I've done worse to ponies like them; likely because they asked for it. As long as I have what it takes to stand up for others, I'll have no regrets on what I do." Twilight said, acknowledging her actions with full determination. "There's always a price to pay for any pony that treats friendship like garbage, due to such bad intentions. It's just like that one time in this one alternate world were I stood up for a two-legged creature who looks exactly like Fluttershy against a unicorn pony named Sunset Shimmer."

"Who's Sunset Shimmer?" Sue asked out of curiosity.

"She used to be one of my students before Twilight came in." Princess Celestia explained answering Sue's question for Twilight. "However, because she did not get what she wanted as quickly as she liked, she turned cruel and dishonest. Well, that's all in past. Ever since Twilight got her crown back from Sunset after she stole it from her,  I still have faith that one day she will return to make amends with me, just like with Twilight."

"I see." Sue said after taking another sip of grape juice with her mug.

Before any pony could say anymore, they hear a distant alarm go off from a distance away, coming from Ponyville. As soon as all three ponies got up on their hooves, leaving behind their payment and heading out the door, a squad of Royal Guards accompanied by Flash Sentry appeared before Twilight bowing down at her hooves.

"Princess Twilight, some pony just broke into your Castle and committed a robbery!!!!" Flash explained alarming the two alicorns and Sue.

Upon hearing Flash Sentry's report, all three ponies gasped in shock before they flew out of Canterlot and headed down to Twilight's Castle to investigate, with Sue riding on Twilight's back while flying in mid-air. As soon as they got there, a pony CSI crew is underway. Outside of the Castle entrance, there were guards stationed around the area, preventing any unauthorized ponies from interfering. Upon seeing Princess Celestia and Princess Twilight appear before them, they bowed at their hooves and let them both enter the crime scene. As for Sue, Celestia ordered her to stay outside. Inside the castle, the two Alicorns see the CSI examine the entire scene while taking pictures. Down at the Castle lower hallways, they spot an empty podium in the middle of the room at the end of the lower hallway. After taking a good look at it, Twilight just realized that what really happened here.

"Oh, shit!!!" Twilight gasped in horror. "I don't know how they're able to find it but some pony stole the Book of Forbidden Dark Magic!!!"

After hearing this, Princess Celestia's face turned pale with fear in her eyes. In her mind, any pony that gets their hooves on such volatile artifacts could spell total disaster not just to her, but to every pony around her as well.

"Don't worry, Twilight." The sun princess told her pupil turned Monarch before shouting orders to the Royal guards in a Canterlot voice. "We'll help you find it, Twilight. Hopefully we'll be able to succeed before it's too late. Guards sweep the entire area, find those thieves and that book and bring them to me. We can't let them get away with this!!!"

Later on, after Carrie finished partying with Pinkie Pie, she finally found the confidence to find the goodness in laughter and not to take it too personally. Well, when she ran into Fluttershy on the way back to Twilight's Castle, she reminded Carrie to be assertive whenever she finds jokes that are hurtful than rather harmless. As both Fluttershy and Pinkie lead Carrie back to Twilight's Castle, they spotted several guard ponies stationed in front of the Castle as if something bad actually happened there. When they got closer, the three ponies see Twilight giving out orders to the CSI team to have all physical evidence secured and transported to the Forensic Labs back in Canterlot for examination. After the CSI team left, along with half of the Royal Guards, Fluttershy and Pinkie came up to Twilight and asked what just happened. 

"Twilight, what happened to your Castle??" Fluttershy asked the purple alicorn.

"They said that some unknown thieves broke into my Castle and made it off with Sombra's Book of Forbidden Dark Magic!!!" Twilight explained as she started growling in anger. "I swear to the name of Faust, if I ever find out who's stupid enough to do this, I'll wring up their filthy little necks!!!"

After hearing about the situation that took place in Twilight's Castle, the other three ponies were completely shocked, unable to say anymore. Ever pony fell silent for a few minutes, until Carrie makes her speech in front of the purple alicorn.

"What's the Book of Forbidden Dark Magic?" Carrie asked.

"You definitely do not want to know what kind of spells that book contains!!" Twilight responded in a worried tone. "When King Sombra took over the Crystal Empire, he created all sorts of Dark Magic Spells and recorded them in a big, thick-covered book that he found in the Crystal Library. After we helped Princess Cadence reclaimed the Crystal Empire, defeating King Sombra, we secured most of the evidence of his dark magic deep within the catacombs underneath the Crystal Palace Throne Room. As for that Book of Forbidden Dark Magic, Princess Cadence handed it over to me after I claimed this Castle as my current residence. I could've sworn that I had it down in the Castle basement inside a room where I sealed it up with two long chains and a lock. For some reason, they found several lock picks lying in front of that door."

"Well, I hope we'll catch those crooks red-handed." Pinkie snarled to herself as she put on her Sherlock Hat and a smoking pipe in her mouth. "This is very intriguing indeed."

"We'll go over this later." Twilight told Pinkie and Fluttershy. "Right now, it's late and I'm tired."

After finishing their conversation, Carrie, Spike, and Twilight went back inside the Castle to rest up for the next day. As for Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie, they both went back to their homes and call it a night. 




At Ponycadero, Margaret was scratching the walls inside her cell for four hours until the prison guards came up to her cell. Upon hearing them knocking on her cell, Margaret turned around to see two guards standing in front of her. Before she could say anything, one of the Prison guards spoke first.

"Margaret, it's time for breakfast." The guard said in a burly tone.

The moment they opened the cell door, Margaret was immediately clasped in iron shackles, with a metal ball and chain attached to her left hind leg. As they made her way down to the mess hall, Margaret spots Princess Celestia and Princess Luna accompanied by an escort of four Solar Guards and four Bat Pony Guards at the main entrance of the Mental Institution. After eating breakfast at the mess hall, Margaret was escorted to another area where there's phones stationed in both her side and at the side where the Royal Sisters are. As soon as she sat down in front of Princess Celestia, Margaret grabs the phone with her hoof and holds it up to her ear before speaking to them from the other side.

"Hello, Princess Celestia." Margaret said in a silently cranky voice. "How's my daughter doing? She didn't cause any sins in front of you, did she?? TELL ME SHE DIDN'T!!!!"

"Look Mrs. White. Just how long are you going to keep blindly accusing your daughter of her sins, anyway??" Celestia asked while glaring at Margaret in a calm speech. "I mean, look at you, your insane, zealous behavior is putting yourself in even more danger than to everypony else. We have more bigger problems to take care of right now, than rather going over your mental crap. When Princess Twilight brought Carrie to live in Ponyville with her, her friends were able to start off with some very good hospitality. How could you not see that making friends in Ponyville is not a sin?? You tell me!! HOW??"

"I just want to do what's best for my daughter, Princess." Margaret said 

"Well, from Carrie's point of view, there is strong evidence that you are not doing a very good job in being a mother to her." Celestia informed. "Unless you could give up being so sinful to yourself and give up treating your daughter and every pony else like sinful devils, including my subjects, I'm not going to let you leave this place, ever!!!"

"You really think you and your purple alicorn princesse can stop me, do you??" Margaret hissed at the white alicorn. "If you really think you can stop me from my destiny, then it is you and Twilight that are being even more sinful than my daughter is."

"You know what?!" Princess Celestia said in frustration for not being able to reason with the crazed old unicorn. "Maybe we'll talk this over when you're being more reasonable and a lot less mental."

After Princess Celestia disengaged with speaking to Margaret White on the phone, Princess Luna stepped forward and used her magic to gain control of the phone before speaking to Margaret White next.

"Well. Well. Well. If it isn't the most sinful princess of all." Margaret said as she sneered at the dark-blue alicorn. "So tell me, Luna. Why did you think that Celestia would forgive you after you attacked her as Nightmare Moon? I thought for sure that any creature consumed by the darkness must be punished for their sins entirely."

"I was just lonely, being the one and only Princess of the Night and Dreams." Luna said while glaring at the cranky unicorn. "Of course, me and my sister used to have disagreements towards each other. We used to fight each other when we were little but that's only because we both got too carried away in doing stupid things. None of that matters anymore because we promised our mother that we would both help rule Equestria balancing both light and darkness under our hoofs."

"Is that so?" Margaret jeered at the night princess. "Well, what about Twilight and Cadence, why did you gave those two Royal Power?? What makes you think that those two could be trusted as new rulers of Equestria?"

"Cadence was one of the direct descendants of the Royal Family of the Crystal Empire that nearly went extinct thanks to the evil reign of King Sombra and that she's Tia's adopted niece." Luna answered intensely. "As for Twilight Sparkle, when Tia brought her to Ponyville, she was able to display all the great qualities of what it takes to become a true princess. And besides, during the time her brother, Shinning Armour, served in the Equestrian Military, he too ascended towards the Royal position after he married Princess Cadence. From our point of view, they're not sins, they are blessings!!!"

"Blessing my flank!!" Margaret grunted in anger. "Just who does that Princess Twilight think she is trying to take my daughter away from me???"

"Well for your information, me and Tia were the ones who decided this, not Twilight alone." Luna said truthfully. "Yet, out of denial, you attacked her and our guards on sight."

"I still wanted to protect my daughter from this sick world of sins!!!" Margaret responded in a deceiving tone. "IS THAT SO WRONG?!!!"

"Well, what you did to your daughter and how much she was hurt after that is wrong!!!" Luna answered sternly. "As far as we can tell, if you really wanted to protect your child, the least you can do is learn how to avoid being abusive or overstrict. Unless you can control yourself first, Carrie will be staying with Princess Twilight from now on. If you excuse us, Tia and I have some unfinished business to attend to. So, you might as well think about what we just said to you."

As Luna disengaged with communicating with Margaret on the phone, turned around and left the Institution with Princess Celestia, the prison guards came up to Margaret and told her that it's time to go back to her cell. However, she refused because Margaret still wanted to give the royal sisters a piece of her mind. Despite this, the guards dragged her by her hind legs and started struggling with the old unicorn as she started resisting them, grabbing onto the phone with both of her hooves. Eventually, one of the jailers pried Margaret's hooves off the phone before they shoved her back into her cell. Outside of the Institution, Luna could not help but to go over the situation that Margaret is in with her elder sister.

"Say Tia?" Princess Luna asked the sun princess. "If we can't find anymore solutions to reason with that cranky old lady, what do we do then?" 

"We might as well take Margaret White to Tartarus." Princess Celestia suggested for her younger alicorn sister. "I hope she won't be able to find a way to escape this place until then."




First week; Day 5

It has been 5 days since Carrie was stayed at Twilight's Castle to understand friendship in Ponyville. Even though, things were going smoothly between her and the Mane 6, the investigation behind the thefts in Twilight's Castle still remained unsolved. Despite this, Carrie still continued to learn how to harness and control her telekinesis with Twilight's guidance. After three hours of practice, Carrie and Twilight decided to have lunch in the dinning hall with Rainbow Dash. As soon as they're done eating, Rainbow invited Carrie and Twilight to spectate a Wonderbolts Performance at Manehattan. Without hesitation, both the unicorn and alicorn accepted Rainbow's request as they packed up for the trip to the Manehattan Stadium. As soon as they arrived in Manehattan, Carrie sees very tall buildings from left and right, the Mare Statue, and the Crystaller Statue. Later on, they met up with Applejack and her family and relatives during their last day of vacation in Manehattan. However, they wished to see Rainbow Dash do her performance with the Wonderbolts, in which will take place in the Manehattan Park this afternoon. 

"Wow, this a really great city!!!" Carrie said in awe. "If only Sue was there to see this."

"You haven't see anything awesome yet, Carrie." Rainbow Dash said in excitement while still hovering in mid-air. "The Wonderbolts are very famous for their Wicked, Sweet aerial tricks. I've always wanted to join the Wonderbolts ever since I was a little filly."

"I still don't understand why are you all being so nice to me." Carrie said while still doubting to herself. "I mean, this is the first time in 15 years that I ever meet ponies that were able to treat me fairly without question."

"As the Element of Loyalty, I never turn my back on a friend that needs help at anytime, Carrie." Rainbow said enthusiastically. "I may have displayed some stupidity and comedic relief along the way, but that's only because I get too carried away with my own pride sometimes, no offensive though. In fact, you haven't seen what Rarity or Applejack are capable of yet. While I was a little filly, Fluttershy was the first friend that I ever had, way before I met Twi and the others. There were ponies that call me Rainbow Crash, likely becausee always keep running into things since I was a silly, adorable little filly, always full of hyperactive energy. Sometimes, I ended up hurting my own wings when I crash into things. Ultimately, there were times were I have to stay strong and true to myself when defending Fluttershy from her tormentors at Cloudsdale. We both grew up together at that place after all. For a long time, I always though of Fluttershy as if she was like my sister."

"Is that so?" Carrie asked the light-blue pegasus, who is hovering in the air 10 feet above her. 

"You heard me. In fact, Twi could be your elder sister." Rainbow Dash said, making the female unicorn blushed out of embarrassment. "When we heard that Twi arrested your crazy mother and gave one of your bullies a restraining order, I thought she might be worth it, don't you agree?! After all, her undisputed, relentless devotion makes her a well-deserved pony noble in Canterlot, just like her elder brother, Shinning Armour."

"I-I don't know. I mean, we just met each other outside of Princess Celestia's school." Carrie said, afraid that Twi and the Mane 5 might be just using her from the start. "What if she started laughing at me in the most insulting way possible, later on? What if she is just using me? I still don't know anything about her, personally!!" 

"I'll let you know a little secret about Twi, Carrie." Rainbow Dash informed the shy unicorn. "You're not really the only pony that was being misunderstood of your feelings. During this one week, when Twilight was still a unicorn, she was freaking out, claiming that she had nothing to report to Princess Celestia. We thought it wasn't something to worry about at all, that is until she enchanted her Smarty Pants doll with the "want it, need it" spell. As a result, the entire town of Ponyville was affected by Twi's spell and was fighting over that doll. The next thing we saw was when Princess Celestia appeared above us when the sun came down. She casted a counter-spell that put every pony back to normal. The moment Princess Celestia brought Twi to the Library to discuss every single mistake that she made, we started protesting against the sun princess to not have Twi punished for her mishaps. After hearing what we all had to say, Princess Celestia disregarded Twilight's punishment and instead, expects me and the rest of the Mane 5 to report all of our findings in the Magic of Friendship only when we happened to discover them. Truthfully, from the start, in Spike's point of view, it turns out that Twi just let her own fears get the best out of her."

After explaining Twilight's mishaps and misunderstanding towards Carrie, both she and Rainbow Dash started laughing their heads off as they collapsed on their backs tumbling out of such sense of humor. 

"Man Rainbow, that was the most funniest story I ever heard about Twilight." Carrie cackled as she got up on her hooves again.

"BWA! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Rainbow laughed hysterically. "I know right?? That Twi can be quite a crack up sometimes. You should've seen the look of her face when that happened; it was priceless!!!"

"I heard that, Rainbow Dash." Twilight spoke out of annoyance as she appeared right behind the two laughing ponies.

"Sorry, Twi. I still want to cheer Carrie up by sharing your experience of being misunderstood to her." Rainbow Dash explained in a sheepish tone. "No offense."

"Howdy, every pony." Applejack appeared with two earth ponies. "Are ya all ready to see the Wonderbolt Performance this afternoon?!"

As Applejack's sibling appeared from behind her, Carrie sees a huge red stallion with the blond mane and a little earth pony filly that had a big red ribbon tied to her mane behind her head. The red stallion had a cutie mark of a big green apple and the little filly had a cutie mark of a little shield with a purple apple in the middle. Before Carrie could say anything, Applejack introduces the two earth ponies to her.

"Carrie, ah like you ta meet my brother Big Mac and my little sister Apple Bloom." Applejack said as the two approached the female unicorn. 

"Howdy." Apple Bloom chirped as she got closer to the female unicorn.

"It's a pleasure to meet you both, I'm Carrie White." Carrie said as she nervously introduced herself to the two earth ponies.

After going over what Carrie said to them, Applejack's siblings felt pity for her. However, they all escorted Carrie to the Manehattan Park, while Rainbow Dash prepares for the aerial performance with Spitfire and the rest of her team. As Applejack, her siblings, Twilight, and Carrie sat on the bleachers, Carrie goes up to Twilight before going over what Rainbow Dash just said about her.

"So Twilight, Rainbow told about how you were misunderstood by her and the rest of your friends. How did that made you feel?" Carrie asked the purple alicorn.

"Well, it made feel like that I'm going crazy because I was running out of ideas." Twilight explained. "I thought for sure that if I can't find a problem to solve, I'll make a problem myself."

"And it almost went from bad to worse?" Carrie asked further.

"I guess you could say that." Twilight responded. "I thought for sure that I need to send in reports to Princess Celestia every week. But because I missed the deadline, I thought I was going to get sent to magic kindergarden in Canterlot."

Upon hearing Twilight's negative thoughts, Carrie started laughing again much to purple alicorn's little annoyance.

"Magic Kindergarden?!! That's ridiculous." Carrie said still laughing at what Twilight just said.

"That's what Spike thought too." Twilight acknowledged. "Not that it matters anymore, I'll still do my best to help others only when they need to."

"Hey y'all!!! The Wonderbolts show is about ta start!!!" Applejack told the alicorn and unicorn out loud. 

At the beginning of the show, two rows of ponies raised the trumpets to introduce the Wonderbolts, while the P.A speaker makes their announcement to the public.

"Mares and gentlecolts, fillies and foals of all ages!" The P.A speaker spoke to the crowd at the Manehattan Park. "Look to the skies and prepare to be awestruck by the incredible flying prowess of... the Wonderbolts!"

As Rainbow Dash and Wonderbolts make their grand entrance from the clear-blue sky, the entire crowd of ponies were cheering for them. Some fillies are wearing caps and shirts to represent their favorite Wonderbolts. On the other side of the bleachers, Carrie spots two elderly pegasus cheering for Rainbow Dash, along with a little light-brown pegasus filly.

"Twilight, who are they cheering for Rainbow Dash?!" Carrie asked the alicorn as she pointed out to them with her hoof.

"That would be Rainbow Dash's parents, Bow Hothoof and Windy Whistles." Twilight explained. "As for the filly next to them, that would be Scootaloo, one of Rainbow's biggest fans."

"I wish my mother and father were there to take me places that I found exciting." Carrie muttered to herself as she let her tears fall silently. "I'm so glad that you and your friends were able to take me places. I mean, when I was stuck in that wretched house with my deranged mother, it felt like a total prison there with no means of escape."

Upon seeing Carrie cry silently in happiness, due to the fact that she was able to find her freedom with hanging out with her new friends, Twilight embraced Carrie in her hooves. As Carrie looked up to Twilight, she sees the alicorn smiling at her. As she smiled back at the purple alicorn, she felt that deep down, Carrie sees a sisterly figure within Twilight Sparkle. After she wiped away her tears, she turned her face to continue watching the Wonderbolts do their performances in the sky.

The Wonderbolts were doing all sorts of aerial dives, barrel rolls, climbing up and falling with styles, and passing each other. Next, they started diving through the white clouds. The moment the Wonderbolts made contact with them, the clouds disappear immediately. After clearing up the skies of all the clouds above the Manehattan park, the Wonderbolts formed up in a spearhead formation, with Spitfire in the middle and ahead of the group and Rainbow Dash at the far left of the group. The moment they dived down, the Wonderbolts Team flew back up, leaving behind a smoky trail. As they spread out, the Wonderbolts unleashed a smoky trail that formed into a giant waterfall up in the sky. Upon seeing this climatic performance, the entire crowd was going wild as they cheered for the Wonderbolts with encores and awe. Even Carrie finds this Wonderbolt performance very exciting.

"Oh, Twilight, this is so awesome." Carrie said in a happy tone. "I wish I could see more from Rainbow Dash and the Wonderbolts."

"Well, maybe next time we'll see more." Twilight responded while keeping Carrie's hopes up. 

After the Wonderbolts ended their performance, they flew back to their HQ, while Rainbow Dash met up with her parents and her friends at the sidelines. They celebrated Rainbow's Manehattan performance at The Cantering Cook restaurant. As they ate dinner, Carrie, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Twilight all laughed together, along with Applejack's family, Rainbow Dash's parents, and Scootaloo. The moment they finished dinner, Applejack and her family went back to their apartment to rest up before heading back to Ponyville. As for Rainbow Dash's parents, they went back to Cloudsdale. As for Carrie, Rainbow Dash, and Twilight, they went back home to Ponyville by train. After all exciting things that Carrie saw today, she felt like she belonged to the outside world than rather inside her mother's house. As a matter of fact, she felt like that after Twilight took her to various places all over Ponyville and all over Manehattan, Carrie just realized that she be better living off with her instead of her mother. Upon learning so much from Twilight and her friends, Carrie concluded that she will not have to worry about her past anymore.




Back at the Castle of the Two Sisters, Chris spent more than 3 hours trying to find a spell that will drive Carrie bananas. Eventually, she was able to find a dark spell that will make Carrie invoke her deepest nightmares, as if she'll be experiencing terrible, dark illusions. In addition, Chris found a dark magic spell that will put Carrie under mind-control and with its power, she'll start bringing destruction to every pony around her. Upon reading about those two spells, Chris started smiling to herself in an evil tone.

"MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" Chris cackled like an evil maniac. "With those two spells combined into one, no pony will ever see this one coming!! They'll all die before Carrie's might and then she'll face her ultimate punishment by the Royal Sister themselves; even Princess Twilight will learn the error of her ways when socializing with that little loser!!!!"

As Chris laughter intensifies, the rest of her friends and Billy and his gang could hear her laughing from a mile away. However, they ignored Chris' laughing because they're still planning to not just humiliate Carrie, but also to rig Carrie into making every pony think that she is an enemy of the entire world and must be destroyed.




At Canterlot, Sue requested an audience with her childhood friend and fiance. As soon as she went to the School of Gifted Unicorns, Sue was able to find him at the main entrance, waiting for her. The moment Sue approached to where her friend was at, he revealed himself to be a male unicorn with a cerulean body with the Viridian Mane and Tail, who bears the cutie mark of a Golden Rose. Upon seeing him in person, Sue announces his name.

"Tommy Ross, I would like to have a request for you." Sue asked the unicorn stallion.

"Yes my dear. What is it?" Tommy Ross asked Sue.

"Do you think you'll help accompany Carrie to the Grand Galloping Gala when the time comes?" Sue said as she asked Tommy.

Week 2: Day 1

After spending several days training with Twilight to control her magic, Carrie was able to receive a golden ticket to the Grand Galloping Gala from Princess Celestia and Ms. Rita. Upon seeing this, Carrie could not help but feel so excited for this upcoming event. However, she still doesn't have any pony that she can trust to escort her to the Gala. Twilight and the Mane 5, on the other hand, did her best to help her feel more confident about attending the Gala, in which starts at this Friday night. The moment they all went to the Ponyville Spa for some relaxation, Applejack starts taking a mud bath, Rainbow, Carrie, and Twilight were bathing in the hot tub, Fluttershy and Rarity went to do some massages, and Pinkie was sitting underneath the blow dryer. As Carrie hangs out in the hot tub with Rainbow and Twilight, she still is not sure on how will she prepare herself for the Grand Galloping Gala.

"I'm not sure about going to the Gala this Friday. I mean, doesn't it take place at Canterlot?" Carrie asked the Mane 6. "You know, the very same city were my problems began?!"

"Look, sugarcube. You've got nothing to worry about!!" Applejack protested trying to cheer up the timid unicorn. "I mean, it's already been one week since ya stayed at Twilight's Castle and accepted our friendship and hospitality. If you think you have a hard time trying to find somepony ya can trust at the Gala when things went sour, then it won't be a Gala at all. I wouldn't worry about any humiliation there because we kinda humiliated ourselves when we first attended the Gala."

"Besides, darling. It's okay to make mistakes at special events as this." Rarity said adding in Applejack's conversation. 

"You guys humiliated yourselves at the Grand Galloping Gala?" Carrie asked with her eyes widened with surprise. "How so??"

"When we went to the Gala, I had a lot to talk about magic towards Princess Celestia." Twilight explained.

"I wanted to hang out with the Wonderbolts." Rainbow Dash said.

"I intended to sell Apple Products at the Gala." Applejack exclaimed.

"I went to meet Prince Blueblood." Rarity added in.

"I went outside at to the Castle Gardens to meet the animals." Fluttershy proclaimed.

"I was hoping to entertain the Gala attendants with my party antics." Pinkie squeaked.

"But guess what?!" Twilight said to Carrie. "We didn't get what we wanted at the Gala. Instead, we caused quite a disaster there. Pillars and statues broke, animals were running rampart all over the area, and ponies were screaming and running around in terror. It was horrible. Of course, Princess Celestia was there too when it happened."

"Well despite this, it turns out that Princess Celestia didn't really cared if the Gala turned into a total mess-up." Rarity laughed to herself. "She pointed out that the Gala was always terrible. The thing is, the Princess got totally bored from the fact that nothing exciting or crazy happened, until we came in."

"So, what happened when you guys tried to meet up with the people that you found interesting in?" Carrie asked.

"Well, Princess Celestia got too preoccupied with the other Gala attendants." Twilight replied.

"I wasn't getting enough attention from the Wonderbolts." Rainbow Dash said in disappointment.

"No pony was interested in buy any of ma Apple products." Applejack muttered in dismay.

"Blueblood went from Prince Charming to Prince Charmless and turned into a ROYAL PAIN!!!!" Rarity screeched in anger.

"I got totally frustrated from the fact that none of the animals wanted to be friends with me. So, I started to become very forceful and crazy!!!" Fluttershy said while blushing out of embarrassment. "I was like 'You're going to LOVE ME!!!!' right in front of the animals."

"They weren't finding any of my party antics exciting at all." Pinkie said with a pouting frown on her face.

"Oh, Faust. Those were the most terrible things that I have heard." Carrie laughed before she almost went underwater inside the hot tub.

After Carrie resurfaced, followed by a short gasp for air, she starting to think that the Mane 6 still have their own flaws and yet, they didn't find any of this a big deal thanks to Celestia's amusement. 

"Yeah, I know, right, darling?" Rarity snickered. "We thought this was going to be the best night ever at the Gala. Instead, it was worst night ever!!!"

"So, Rarity, do you think you can help me find a good dress to wear for the upcoming Grand Galloping Gala?" Carrie asked the unicorn fashionista.

"Why yes, Carrie." Rarity said as she got out of her massage therapy.

As soon as the rest of the Mane 5 and Carrie left the Ponyville Spa, Carrie followed Rarity all the way to her Fashion Boutique to start work on a few dresses. As Rarity went to create the first dress on her purple sewing machine, she notices that Carrie was working on a dress of her own.

"Why, darling? Since when did you learn how to make dresses?" Rarity asked noticing Carrie displaying some seamstress skills while using the other sewing machine.

"When I was at home, I did watch my mom make dresses too. She used to work at a Clothes Store back in Canterlot as a seamstress." Carrie explained. "I learned as I watched."

"Well, it seems that you're able to learn one thing good from her." Rarity said, little a small smile. "So tell me, darling, what's your favorite color?"

"I prefer pink or white." Carrie said as she described her favorite dresses.

"How about we both make one that's both pink and white?" Rarity suggested to the peach unicorn.

"That'd be really nice, Rarity." Carrie said with delight.




During the time Rarity and Carrie are making a dress for Carrie to wear at the Grand Galloping Gala, Sue Snell and Tommy Ross attended to Twilight's Castle for a meeting in taking Carrie to the Gala. Twilight took both of the unicorns to the map room where they'll discuss this meeting at. As Twilight went to her seat, which has her cutie mark on it, Sue sat on Rarity's and Tommy sat on Applejack's seat across from each other. At first, Twilight is finding some doubts in Tommy's request because of how many people at Celestia's School wouldn't stop harassing Carrie. However, before she could say anything, Tommy makes his statement first.

"Look, I understand that you still don't trust me with Carrie, your highness." Tommy said while addressing Twilight in a formal matter. "But there's always the first time for everything. Second, I don't actually care what kind of person Carrie is, she's still just like every pony else; no difference."

"Well, wasn't Sue your mare-friend earlier? If so, how did you reacted when you first met Sue Snell?" Twilight asked Tommy. "The last thing I would ever expect is for some stallion to control an innocent mare with such forceful, cruel behavior or by cheating."

"As a matter of fact, we were both able to study well together at the School of Gifted Unicorns." Tommy explained. "In fact, I earned my reputation as one of the most popular athletic unicorn stallions in the school and made good use of poetry. When I first met Sue, she was interested in how to gain such good inspiration to most of the students, just so that we can live a good life in Canterlot. I mean, you and your brother were both way ahead of every pony else, including us, and I can't help but feel even more impressed on how you two became the newest Princess and Prince of Equestria. Trust me, I'm nothing like Chris or Billy or those heartless, snobbish ruffians."

"Even so, I still wanted to be true to myself and to others, no matter what." Twilight informed Tommy. "As the Princess of Friendship, I'm being held responsible for Carrie's safety, as well as the safety of my other friends and my family. I mean, if anything happens to Carrie at the Gala because of you, she probably will never want to speak to me again."

"How could you say that?" Tommy asked. "I mean no harm to Carrie, honest."

"A couple of nights ago, I had a scary dream of her standing on top of a bloodied altar with a demonic shadow appearing right where Carrie's shadow is at." Twilight explained. "Before I could come any closer, Carrie used her magic to shove me out of the Castle of the Two Sisters and the next thing I saw was that the entire ruins collapsed into a huge inferno, falling straight down into a huge, bottomless black hole, taking Carrie along with it. Princess Luna warned me that if Carrie becomes mistreated again, all Tartarus will break lose. Therefore, if I fail to keep Carrie in line and her situation under control, my reputation will go downhill; I probably will never forgive myself after that."

"Well, me and Sue have been talking about Carrie back at Canterlot." Tommy explained to the purple alicorn. "She still wanted to make it up to all the mistakes she made with Carrie when she first attended the School of Gifted Unicorns. In fact, Sue wanted me to go to the Gala with Carrie in order to express her apologizes for letting this school bullying get out of control. I mean, if you let me take Carrie to the Gala, I'll keep you informed that everything will turn out alright. I'll prove it to you that no harm will come to her, I promise."

Upon hearing Tommy's speech, Twilight took Sue to a nearby corner to discuss on what will be their verdict. After discussing all the options between the unicorn and the alicorn in quiet whispering, they both finally went back to where Tommy is before their decision is made.

"Okay Tommy, Carrie is all yours." Twilight said as she accepted the unicorn stallion's request. "Just keep a very close eye on her."

"Thank you, your highness." Tommy said as he bowed down at Twilight's hooves before he and Sue went to the Castle's Main Foyer to wait for Carrie.




Back at Rarity's Fashion Boutique, Rarity was able to make a dress for Carrie, with her doing the sowing while the fashionista stitched both pink and white fabric together. After one hour, they both finished the dress. It was a sleeveless, long pink gown with white embroideries and a small pink rose on top of its left shoulder. It has small white gems sewn on its waist.  As soon as Carrie put in on her dress, she also put on a Ruby necklace and a red rose band on her left hoof. The moment Carrie put on her dress and her accessories,and she started twirling around out of excitement. Upon seeing Carrie in her new dress, Rarity starts to get excited, witnessing such shinning fabulousness.

"My, don't you look lovely, darling?!" Rarity asked with delight. "This is so gorgeous and perfect."

"Why, thank you, Rarity." Carrie smiled, showing a small blush on her face. 

"Since you now know what to wear at the Gala, try to keep that dress tidy and clean until the day the Gala starts, okay?" Rarity suggested.

"Yes, I'll do my best, Rarity." Carrie acknowledged as she waved goodbye and took her dress to Twilight's Castle to store it in her bedroom.

As soon as Carrie went inside the castle, she meets an unknown Unicorn stallion standing next to Twilight and Sue. Upon seeing him, Carrie almost freaked out and tried to get away from him. However, Twilight used her magic to hold and take Carrie back to right where she was standing.

"Carrie, it's okay." Twilight spoke, trying to calm the frightened unicorn down. "This is Tommy Ross. He said he wanted to help you out when attending the Gala."

"What makes you say that?" Carrie asked still shaking in fear of what he'll do to her.

"I have some doubts in what Tommy is up to but after a long talk with him and Sue, Sue is just doing this in order to express her apologizes from what she did to you last week." Twilight explained to the frightened unicorn. "It's nothing personal, Carrie; this is the next step for you to hang out with a young, handsome stallion like him, as well as taking the next step to become a grown up pony. Remember what Discord and Fluttershy have both said to you?!"

After hearing what the purple alicorn just said to her, Carrie remembers a flashback a few days ago on what the Draconneques and the yellow pegasus mare said to her.

"You just need to have the courage to stand up for others, as well as standing up for yourself. You can't run away from your problems forever, Carrie; even I can't."

"It may not always work, but there's still a chance that there might be some good in others. You just have learn how to believe in yourself that some pony will try to be friends with you with or without Princess Twilight's guidance. Just try not to give up hope, Carrie."	


"Yes, I do." Carrie replied to Twilight's question. "But how will Tommy be any different from the rest of the other unicorns at Canterlot?"

"Because, I gained my respect by being social and kind-hearted with the other students." Tommy answered before Twilight could say anything else. 

"I-I guess I could give it try." Carrie reluctantly said.

"Just remember one thing Carrie, I'll still be watching you and Tommy from afar, hopefully no pony will pick on you ever again or do something worse than just that." Twilight informed the shy female unicorn.

As both Carrie and Tommy went out on a date, with Sue's permission, she and Twilight both watch them leave Twilight's Castle before heading into the Ponyville Marketplace. Tommy believed that Carrie will gain his trust after going out on a date with When Sue turned around to face Twilight, she gave her a smile on her face before Twilight smiled back at her.

"Look Princess, I understand were you're getting at, you know having Tommy go with Carrie to the Gala even though the stakes against it were very high." Sue said in a calm tone. "But I've known Tommy for like several months in Celestia's School. I don't really questioned his loyalty since I found a great interest in his poems."

"Well, I hope he'll do the right thing for both of us, Sue." Twilight acknowledged.




Back at Ponycadero, Margaret White was escorted by the Prison guards to a secluded area where female ponies were doing recreational dressmaking. As Margaret went to work, she secretly hid a needle inside her mane while the guards weren't looking. It's been over a week since Margaret was arrested and taken to the Ponycadero Maximum Security Mental Institution. However, despite all means of not being let out, Margaret plans her one-mare escape after observing the entire complex when being escorted around the area by the guards. Unbeknownst to every pony, Margaret looked closely at the map of the Institution in at the mess hall. There was an armory right next to her cell, and a ventilation shaft inside her cell that might lead to the sewers underneath the complex. During her nights in her cell, Margaret notices that there was only one guard stationed at each floor, patrolling the area. However, one of them accidentally falls asleep on the job. So, she decided to wait until she finds the opportunity to escape.

"They think they can keep me in here over my dead body, will they?" Margaret muttered to herself. "Well, I don't care what it will take to break free from this wretched place. I will do what I must. As soon as I leave this place, I'll hunt down Carrie and Princess Twilight and put them both out of their sinful misery."

Week 2: From the 2nd day to the 4th day.

During the time Carrie went out on a date with Tommy Ross for three days, she finally found the confidence to be with a colt that she could build her trust in. On their first day of their date, Tommy took her to the Apple Farm where they helped Applejack with selling her apples to the citizens of Ponyville. After 3 hours of selling, Applejack finally ran out of Apple products to sell at the market. The moment she left, the farm pony congratulating Tommy and Carrie for helping her with her business by giving them an Apple Pie for dessert, as well as a share of 1,500 bits, in which was approved by Granny Smith. At the 2nd day of their date, Tommy and Carrie went to a carnival down at Appleloosa. Even though she and Tommy had fun with the rides as seeing the farm ponies participating in herding competitions and races, Carrie is still shaking from the fact the her mother used to live there. However, Tommy embraced Carrie in his hooves telling her that there's nothing to worry about when it comes to her family's past. As time went on, Carrie was found a family that really cares about her in both Tommy's and in Twilight's eyes. At the 3rd day of her date, Carrie went to Manhattan with Tommy on a ferry tour around the harbor. As night approaches, both unicorns saw lights floating above the water, gleaming into the clear, night sky. Upon seeing the beautiful floating lanterns appear before them, they stared at them in awe and wonder while a song starts in the background.

All those days, watching from the windows

As they saw how beautiful the lights in the sky are, Carrie and Tommy looked at each other with smiles on their faces. When they turned around, they see fireworks exploding in the sky, much to their enjoyment. Before Carrie could say how exciting all of this is, Tommy asks Carrie on how she felt after hanging around with Twilight, the Mane 5, and him.

"So Carrie, are you happy that we let you see what's it like outside of your own horrible little world?" Tommy asked.

"Well, yes. I'm so glad I was able to meet you, Twilight, and the rest of the Element Bearers of Harmony." Carrie replied in a positive tone. "If not, I would never live it down."

"I'm happy that you finally opened up to us, Carrie, despite all those problems at school." Tommy acknowledged with a smile on his face. "And for that, your journey has just begun."

All those days, chasing down a daydream

As both Tommy and Carrie started holding hoofs, they both sang together while the bright light of the fireworks illuminated the deck of the ferry that they're standing in.

As they moved in closer to each other, Tommy shared a kiss with Carrie White. Upon feeling the warmth of being embraced by Tommy, Carrie could not help but feel more happy and more confident than ever. After the ferry tour, both of the unicorns headed back to Twilight's Castle in Ponyville to rest up for the upcoming Grand Galloping Gala.




Meanwhile, back at Canterlot, several bat pony guards accompanying Princess Luna were patrolling around the courtyard. Suddenly, without warning, Luna and the guards heard some loud banging noise coming from outside of the Palace, at the edge of its outer walls. The moment Luna sent her guards to investigate the noise, she sense some ponies rustling in the bushes. The next thing Luna saw was several pony intruders wearing black disguises climb up the palace windows with their ropes and infiltrated the Royal Foyer, right where the Gala is taking place at. As they all landed on their hooves, one of them took off her mask, revealing herself to be none other than Chris Hargensen.

"All right girls, time to take point." Chris announced in silence while issuing orders to her unicorn gang. "Tina, switch the real box of ballots with our box. The rest of you, help me raise the bucket full of pigs blood up into high beams above where the Gala Queen will be sitting at."

As Chris' lackeys went to work to setup the prank, Princess Luna stormed into the Palace Foyer with several of her bat pony guards behind her. 

"Chris Hargensen, what is the meaning of this??" Princess Luna angrily shouted in a stern tone. "You're not supposed to be here during the........"

When Chris turned around to face the night princess, she gave Luna a smirk on her face with a light, sinister chuckle. Before Luna could say anymore, her guards are getting snatched by Billy's gangsters who were hiding up in the ceilings, wrapping ropes around them and gagging them with paper cloths. Just when Luna was about to use her magic, Chris used a blowdart gun and shot at the night alicorn, hitting her in the neck with a tranquilizer dart. As the world around Luna turned black, she collapsed onto the ground unconscious.

"Alright girls, tie up this alicorn and hide her in the cellar, completely gagged." Chris ordered her friends. "Just you wait Princess Twilight, you'll regret the day that you crossed paths when protecting Carrie from me."

As they took Luna down to the cellars, Chris takes out her restraining order, ripped it up in two, and left it right where unconscious dark-blue alicorn is. When Chris went back to the Main Foyer, she went inside the attic with Billy and wrote something in the first page of the Book of Forbidden Dark Magic. After Chris finished writing in the book's first page, she made a small, evil cackle.

"Soon, this will go according to my wonderfully awful plan!!" Chris snickered as she and Billy remained in the attic with utter silence.

Week 2: 5th day
This morning on Friday, Princess Celestia is starting to worry about Princess Luna's disappearance. After several hours of searching for the night alicorn, the royal guards could not find her anywhere. Upon hearing this unexplained turn of events, the entire city of Canterlot was muttering in fear that something horrible has happened to the Princess of the Night. Despite this, Celestia assured to every pony that Luna will be found before nightfall. As for Carrie and Tommy, they went to the dinning hall in Twilight's Castle to get some breakfast, along with Sue Snell, Twilight, and Spike. They all ate pancakes and peanut butter sandwiches. 

"Say Twilight, did you hear about Princess Luna's disappearance?" Spike asked the purple alicorn. "It's all over the news on Foal Free Press." 

"Yeah, I thought for sure that Luna will always return to the palace, once the full sun rises." Twilight told Spike. "Instead, Princess Celestia decided to lower the moon and raised the sun all by herself. I did remember doing it at one time, it was a bit complicated."

"Wait just a minute, since when did Celestia let you raise the sun and the moon?" Tommy asked not getting the whole picture from Twilight.

"During the time Tirek was on the loose, I got called back to Canterlot by my fellow Princesses." Twilight explained briefly. "They transferred all their magic to me because Tirek wasn't aware that I was the fourth princess. Because of that, it had to be me to raise the sun in the morning; that was just temporary. After me and my friends defeated Tirek, we gave all the Princesses back their powers."

"I see." Tommy acknowledged. "It wasn't worth it, was it?"

"No, it's not. I mean, it's bad enough that I had to gain control of such overwhelming magic at such a young age without letting any pony else, including my friends, get involved in it." Twilight added in. "There was just too much at stake during that time."

After all three ponies and the dragon finished their breakfast, Tommy went back home to get ready for the upcoming Gala, while Carrie went to the Fashion Boutique for some makeup with Rarity's help. As for Twilight, she received a letter that Margaret White has escaped from Ponycadero. Upon reading the letter, she and Spike took flight all the way the Ponycadero to get to the bottom of the grim incident. Just when Twilight and Spike arrived at the Mental Institution, the prison guards bowed down at her hooves before letting her into the complex. As Twilight meet the head warden, High Heel Valiant and Dr. Verden, they greeted her before she had a chance to ask what happened. High Heel is a silver earth pony with a light-blue mane and tail who bears the cutie mark of a kite shield. He was wearing a full set of a prison warden uniform with a black beret on top of his head.

"I'm so glad you're here, your highness." Dr. Verden said as he acknowledged the purple alicorn's presence. "It happened during last night when Margaret escaped from this place."

"So Dr. Verden, tell me what happened." Twilight asked both Verden and High Heel.




Previously Last Night:

At 8:00pm, most of the prison guards went to hang out at the barracks while leaving two guards to patrol the cell blocks at the first and second level. As the guard look at the cell Margaret White was in before moving on, the zealous unicorn got out of her bunk bed and took out her needle from her mane. Without hesitation, she started picking the lock on the door of her cell with her needle. After 20 seconds of lock picking, Margaret finally unlocked the cell door and let herself out. She snuck into the armory and grabbed a sword from a nearby weapon rack. The moment she went back to her cell, she saw the guard right in front of her. However, before the guard could raised the alarm, Margaret hurled her sword at the guard piercing him from the back as the back jutted out from his chest. As Margaret pulled the sword out from the guard's corpse, after he collapsed dead on the ground, it started bleeding all over the corridor pavement. Not wanting to waste anymore time before the guards catch her, Margaret used her magic to unscrew the ventilation shaft. As she opened up the shaft, Margaret went inside the vents and closed it behind her before she headed out to the sewers to escape the Institution. After a few hours, the guards found the body of one of their own and raised the alarm. Despite the red alert protocol, they were not able to find Margaret White anywhere. So, they immediately notified Princess Twilight Sparkle of the crazy unicorn's escape.





Upon hearing what both Dr. Verden and High Heel had to say, Twilight Sparkle started sweating because she feared that Carrie will be in danger because her homicidal, zealous mother is on the loose again. After thinking about what to do, Dr. Verden snapped her out of her thoughts.

"Princess, what should we do!!" Dr. Verden asked the purple alicorn, trying to ask for orders.

"Dr. Verden, High Heel, don't let any of this reach out to the public. I don't want to cause another panic, not after Princess Luna's disappearance." Twilight ordered the two Prison employees. "I'll send in another search party to track down and recapture Margaret by any means necessary. Also, don't tell Princess Celestia about this either. She already have enough things going on in her mind right now."

"Understood, your highness." High Heel spoke as he saluted Princess Twilight before moving on.

As Twilight flew back to Canterlot, she meets up with Flash Sentry and his fellow guard ponies and told them to dispatch several search parties all over Ponyville and in Caterlot to find the unicorn mare fugitive. Upon heeding Twilight's orders, Flash and the guards moved on to conduct the search for Margaret White. 

Somewhere 1,000 meters away from Ponycadero, Margaret appeared out of the Sewer grate and grabbed a nearby cloak to disguise herself, as well as not attracting too much unwanted attention. As she made her way back to Canterlot in disguise, she spots patrols of 4 Royal Guards navigating through the city streets. Not wanting to get caught, Margaret stayed beneath the shadows of nearby buildings while heading back to her old house at the town square. As soon as she entered her old house, Margaret went to the kitchen and armed herself with her deceased husband's butcher knife and hid it underneath her cloak. After leaving her house, Margaret navigates all over Canterlot, the Everfree Forest, and Ponyville to search for the whereabouts of her daughter.




At Rarity's Boutique, Rarity just finished with giving Carrie her make-up. Upon seeing herself in the mirror with her Gala dress, Carrie could not help but smile at herself after feeling more confident and more excited to attend to the Grand Galloping Gala. After telling how great Rarity was when making dresses for her, it made the fashionista smile back at Carrie.

"So, darling, do you have any second thoughts?" Rarity asked the peach unicorn.

"No, not at all, Rarity." Carrie replied. "In fact, I can't wait to see how Tommy would dress up for the Gala as well."

"You'll do just fine, Carrie." Rarity told her. "In fact, if you need us for anything, me and the rest of the Mane 5 will be hanging out at Donut Joe's place at Canterlot."

"Thanks, Rarity." Carrie said, finally reliving herself of all the pressure before going to the Gala. 

After having lunch with Rarity and her sister Sweetie Belle at a restaurant nearby the Boutique, Carrie could not help but notice how long has Twilight been gone for.

"By the way Rarity, Twilight hasn't shown up for like four hours. Do you think something happened to her?" Carrie asked Rarity. "She promised me that she and Tommy will help escort me to the Gala before meeting up with you and the Mane 5 at Donut Joe's place."

"We'll, Twilight's royal duties can be quite a hoof full." Rarity told Carrie. "Whenever something revolving around the Equestrian Government occurs, they're expecting Twilight to respond to the situation without any hesitation."

"I hope she's alright out there." Carrie muttered to herself before facing Rarity. "I mean, is it natural for her to handle the danger whether or not you guys were there for her?"

"Darling, we've been fighting together to save Equestria for a long time." Rarity informed the Peach unicorn. "As long as we're together, there won't be any battle out there that we cannot win and there won't be any friendship problem that we cannot solve; that is how we Element Bearers of Harmony triumph over all that threatens to tear Equestria apart."




After searching for the whereabouts of her daughter, Margaret White snuck into the Mayor's Office and found out that, according to Carrie's recent files, she is staying at the Castle of Friendship in which was located at the edge of Ponyville. As Margaret made her way towards the Castle, she hid inside a nearby bush, waiting for the chance to put Carrie out of her misery.




As the search went on until 5:00pm, Twilight and Flash still received no report on where Margaret White is. Annoyed by the lack of progress in this search, Twilight and Flash decided to head back to Ponyville, along with Tommy Ross, to escort Carrie White to the Grand Galloping Gala. The moment Tommy Ross appeared, he was wearing a white tuxedo suit, with a red rose on his left chest. Just when Carrie saw Tommy in his Gala suit, she could not help but see how handsome he was at the moment. As they both smiled, Carrie and Tommy went inside the Royal Caravan with Twilight and Flash before they headed to Canterlot to attend the Gala. As soon as they arrived, Carrie and Tommy went out of the Caravan, while holding each other's hooves as they went inside the palace. For Twilight and Flash, they decided to meet up with the rest of the Mane 5 at Donut Joe's to go over what Twilight has been through over the past couple of hours.

At the start of the Gala, Carrie and Tommy see all sorts of pony nobles and citizens dressed up in various, colorful dresses and formal suits from both left and right. Even though Carrie felt nervous about how will they react when seeing her, she just realized that every pony was nonchalant about her presence. Along the way to the main floor, they met Ms. Rita who is wearing an elegant dark-blue, sparkling dress. Upon seeing both Tommy and Carrie, she could not help but see how beautiful Carrie is at the moment. After hearing Rita's complement, Carrie slightly blushed as she smiled at the PE teacher. Just when they're done talking about what Carrie went over during the time Princess Twilight took her into her Castle, Rita felt relived that Carrie was doing okay at Ponyville. After having their conversation with Ms. Rita, Carrie and Tommy went to the main floor and started dancing the night away.

Meanwhile, Princess Celestia went down to the bottom floor to take a bathroom break. However, before Celestia was able to make her way back up to the main foyer, she heard some thumping and grunting coming from the cellar. The moment Celestia used her magic to open up the door leading to the cellar, her eyes widened with shock. Upon seeing what was inside the Cellar, the sun princess remained speechless for a few minutes. Celestia could  not believe what she saw just now. It was Princess Luna. As Celestia approached her sister, she notices that the night princess is tied up and gagged, along with several of her bat pony guards. The moment Celestia took the gag off Princess Luna and untied her, Celestia started to ask the night princess about what happened to her.

"Luna, what happened to you?? And why are you and your guard ponies hold up in the cellar for??" Princess Celestia asked out of shock.

"There's no time to explain, Tia!!" Luna responded while trying to get to the point. "We have to stop Chris and her gang before its too late."

"What do you mean? What are you talking about??!!" Celestia asked her sister, not getting the whole picture. 

"First of all, take a good look at this torn up sheet of paper!!!" Luna asked as she used her magic to show the ripped up paper to the white alicorn.

Upon seeing what that ripped-up paper said, Celestia's eyes widened with horror. It turns out that Chris has violated her restraining order and is going after Carrie again.

"No!!! It cannot be!!!" Celestia muttered to herself in horror. 

"Yes, Tia. It's Chris Hargensen. She's here in the Canterlot Palace and is up to something no good." Luna said trying to warn her sister. "We have to warn Carrie before its too late!!!"

Not wanting to stand around any longer, the Royal Sisters galloped in a very fast pace back up to the Main Foyer of their palace. Back at the Main Foyer, Carrie and Tommy continued to dance until the P.A start to make its announcement to the public during the Gala.

"Attention, all fillies, mares, and gentlecolts." The P.A Speaker announced. "It's time for the election on who will be the  King and Queen of this year's Grand Galloping Gala."

As Carrie, Tommy, and the rest of all of the Gala attendants took their seats, a unicorn gentlecolt dressed up in a black tuxedo with black glasses and a black top hat went up the stage to announce the winner from the ballot. After reaching into the ballot with his magic and took out a slip of paper. Upon reading what it says, the gentlecolt makes his speech in front of the public. 

"The winner is Tommy Ross and Carrie White." The gentlecolt announced out loud and clear.

After hearing what the gentlecolt just said, every pony started clapping with their hooves while cheering for the two unicorns. As for Tommy and Carrie, they both left their seats and went up to the stage to accept their winnings. 

Meanwhile, Princess Luna and Princess Celestia alerted the EUP Guard ponies from outside to help back them up and find and arrest Chris and her gang, in which is hiding out somewhere from within the Palace. However, what no pony knows  is that Chris and Billy are still hiding in the attic. As they both came out of the attic, they were at the balcony, way above from where the Gala is taking place at, Chris used her magic to hold onto the string that was tied to the bucket full of pig's blood. The moment Carrie and Tommy went up to the stage and wore Gala crowns on their heads, Billy turned to face Chris. As Billy nodded his head, Chris pulled onto the bucket filled with Pig's blood and dumped it directly onto Carrie, covering her entire body up with blood from head to hoof. As the blood split onto the stage, every pony started under a state of shock. However, before any pony could say anything, Carrie started laughing to herself. For every pony else, this is the first time Carrie actually laughed thinking that it was all part of the Gala. Truthfully, the Mane 6 convinced her that the Gala was always terrible, yet it was funny. As Carrie started laughing, the rest of the crowd along with Tommy started laughing with her, all claiming that it was just for fun.

However, after realizing that their plan backfired, Chris started steaming with anger as her face turned bright red, with her teeth clenching together. 

"I knew this isn't going to work." Chris muttered to herself in anger and frustration. "It's time for plan B."

As the crowd laughed with Carrie, Chris lights up her horn as she casted Dark Magic all over the Gala. Suddenly, without warning, all the doors shut immediately and the lights went out, giving Carrie and the rest of the public a really big panic. Just when the lights went back on, Chris appeared in front of them. Upon seeing Chris tresspass in the Canterlot Palace, everyone's stared at her under a state of shock, with their mouths wide open and their jaws dropping down to the floor. Before any pony could say anything, Rita makes her speech first 

"CHRIS HARGENSEN??" Rita shrieked out loud. "WHAT IN THE NAME OF CELESTIA ARE YOU DOING HERE??? YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE BANNED FROM THE GALA!!! GUARDS!!!"

"Sorry Ms. Rita, but its too late for that; you're too late to save yourself." Chris said as she took out the book of Forbidden Dark Magic and casted a combo of two spells at Carrie White. "It's time for every pony to meet your DOOM!!!"

Before Carrie could see what was going on, the two spells struck her in an instant. After one minute, her eyes started turning maliciously green, with purple smoke coming out of her eyes. Just like that, Carrie started freaking out and panicking, thinking that the ponies are started to throw objects at her again. Upon seeing all this Tommy Ross stood there with horror in his eyes not knowing what to do, while the rest of the Gala attendees started at Carrie with shock and fear.

"I don't need this book anymore." Chris said as she threw the spell book to the ground. "Carrie!! Time to unleash Tartarus!!!"

After Chris and Billy teleported themselves out of the Gala, every pony started screaming and running for their lives. As for Carrie, she started to use her magic to shoot out powerful lighting bolts and hurl all sorts of heavy objects at the crowd. When the lighting struck the floors of the Main Foyer, explosions started erupting, fires started blazing, heavy objects kept crashing into the crowd, injuring or killing several of them as some of the attendants were impaled. During the mayhem, other ponies got too close to the fire and started burning away all of their flesh as they scream in pain before they collapsed, dead on the floor, while others that got hit by the lighting bolts and the heavy objects fell on the ground bleeding. Upon seeing all of this death and destruction occur before their very eyes, Rita and Tommy hid behind the stage, trying to evade all of the destructive chaos in the Gala. 

As the horrifying mayhem continued to have innocent blood spilt on the palace floors for several more minutes, the Royal Sisters finally able to use their combined magic to burst their way into the Main Foyer. As the surviving Gala attendants fled with their lives, they were rounded up by the unicorn guards, while the earth pony and pegasus guards came in along with the Royal Sisters, securing the entire place under complete lockdown. Upon seeing Carrie unleashing destruction against her own will, Princess Celestia was the first to respond to the situation.

"CARRIE WHITE, PLEASE STOP!! THIS ISN'T YOU AT ALL!!!" Princess Celestia roared in a Royal Canterlot voice as she and Luna casted a counter-spell to make her snap out of it.

Upon getting hit by the Royal Sister's spells, Carrie was sent flying off the stage and landed on the ground unconscious. After several seconds, Carrie started blinking eyes for a few seconds as she slowly got up. The moment Carrie started regaining her consciousness and looked around, she sees all the destruction and mayhem that occurred right before her very eyes. Carrie's eyes widened with shock and horror at seeing most of the Gala attendees screaming and running for their lives, while some were on the ground injured and either dead or unconscious. Before Tommy and Rita could see what was happening, Carrie eyes started welling up in tears again.

"Oh Sweet Faust, W-What did I do???" Carrie cried in grief. "What have I done???!!!!"

"Carrie, it's not actually your fault." Princess Luna told her while sympathized the frightened unicorn. "It was Chris Hargensen's."

"CHRIS HARGENSEN??? I-I thought Twilight already dealt with her!!!" Carrie cried as tears came out of her eyes.

"I knew it wasn't going to be enough to stop Chris on what she was planning to do." Luna explained to Carrie. "She actually had a backup plan of her own to make you look bad again in front of the public again."

As Carrie turned around, she sees the Book of Forbidden Magic lying on the floor. Upon reading the writing in the book's first page, Carrie had just realized that she was setup by Chris, her school nemesis. Without hesitation, Carrie angrily marched straight out of the Gala, ignoring Tommy, Rita, Luna, and Celestia.

"Princess Celestia, if you ever see Princess Twilight again, please tell her goodbye for me and tell her that I'm sorry." Carrie told the sun princess as she gave the Book of Forbidden Magic to her, while crying to herself.

"No, Carrie!!! WAIT!!!!" Princess Celestia pleaded.

Before any pony could approach Carrie, she lights up her horn and teleported away from the grisly scene at the Gala.




Meanwhile at Donut Joe's, the Mane 6 were having a pig out while eating donuts and coffee with Spike. After eating and laughing, Spike burped out a message from Princess Celestia. As Twilight used her magic to read the message from the sun Princess, her eyes widened with horror. Without warning, Twilight left Donut Joe's immediately and took flight towards the Canterlot Palace, with Spike riding on top of her back. The moment Twilight arrived at the Palace, she saw fires coming out from the Palace Windows, injured ponies on stretchers, dead ponies wrapped in body bags, fire teams dispatched to put out the fire, and guard ponies dispersing the crowd, while some of them were escorting the Gala attendants out of the area. As Twilight disengaged from her flight and landed on all four of her hooves, she was approached by Princess Luna, Princess Celestia, Tommy, and Ms. Rita. Just when Twilight asked what just happened, they all pointed their hooves towards the evidence that is lying on top of a foldable table. After going over through the evidence, Twilight got totally shocked at what she just saw. There was a torn-up restraining order and the Book of Forbidden Dark Magic. Upon realizing that the Dark Magic Spell book was at the Palace the whole time, Twilight looks inside the first page of the book. After reading the message on the page, Twilight's mouth dropped wide open as she realized who broke into her Castle and stole that spell book from her. 

"Thanks for the book, sucker!!! - Chris Hargensen"

After realizing who's behind this theft, it turns out, from Twilight's own point of view, that Chris must've casted a spell on Carrie that made her go crazy until the Royal Sisters intervened. As a result, Twilight started to have flashbacks on everything that she heard from Carrie, Chris, and Luna, realizing the horrors that Carrie unwillingly just caused all in one night.

"Oh, Twilight. Why me?? Why do they have to hurt me so badly?? Why???"

"Why do you even care about that wimpy little whore? You gave up your own pride and ambition just so that you'd look after that miserable wretch of a unicorn?"

"This may be the most dangerous friendship problem you and your friends have ever faced in Equestria. Trying to placate an emotionally, vulnerable pony who is like a ticking time bomb that'll blow up in any second is not going to be a cakewalk."


As Flash Sentry and Rainbow Dash arrived on the scene, their eyes widened with horror upon seeing such devastation all around the Canterlot Palace. In Rainbow Dash's point of view, she had never seen such destruction unfold before her very eyes. Before any pony could say anything, Twilight Sparkle issues another order to her friends and to her guards. Before she made her way back to her friends at Canterlot, Twilight remembers seeing Chris' friends and Billy's gangsters hanging out at the Castle Ruins of the Two Sisters earlier, while hiding from plain sight. After remembering seeing them some where else away from Canterlot and examining the scene all around her, Twilight just discovered an idea on where to find Carrie at.

"Rainbow Dash, get the others and meet me at the Castle of the Two Royal Sisters." Twilight ordered the light-blue pegasus before turned towards the orange pegasus. "Flash Sentry, assemble all available guard divisions and rendezvous with me at the Castle of the Two Sisters."

"Twilight Sparkle, what are you going to do??" Princess Celestia asked, concerning the safety of her star student turned monarch.

"I think I know what Carrie is going to do next and where!!" Twilight told to Celestia before she unfurled her wings and took to the skies once again. "Though, I'd better pray that I'm not too late."

"Princess Twilight, please be careful out there." Princess Luna said to the purple alicorn. 

After heeding Twilight's orders, Rainbow Dash and Spike flew back to Donut Joe's to alert the rest of the Element Bearers of Harmony while Flash Sentry rallied all idle guard ponies to form up with him and head down to the Castle of the Two Sisters.

Somewhere at the Everfree Forest, Carrie appeared in the woods. As Carrie sat down, the unicorn started crying to herself due to realizing what she had done at the Gala during the night. What's worse is that her entire body and her dress was covered up blood that's not even hers. Out of grief, Carrie ripped out her dress and threw it away into a nearby thicket, not wanting to see it again. After crying in her hooves for one hour, Carrie spots Chris and Billy laughing at her from a distance before disappearing deep into the forest. Refusing to become humiliated any further, Carrie's blood starts to boil in anger and fury. So, she secretly followed Billy and Chris all the way to the Castle of the Two Sisters, unaware of her presence. At the main entrance of the Castle Ruins, Carrie spotted the two delinquent ponies enter the ruins, greeted by 12 of their friends and lackeys.





Inside the castle ruins, Billy, Chris, and the rest of their friends celebrated in pulling off another prank on Carrie once again. As they celebrated, Chris and her gang proposed a toast and drank some more Apple Cider.

"That was amazing wasn't it, Chris?!" Tina cackled.

"I know, right?!" Chris said while laughing. "You should see the look on her face when we possessed her with dark magic. It was rich!!"

"Well, we did caused a lot of trouble trying to pull this prank up in Carrie's flank." One of Billy's gangsters said. 

"Chris, we might as well pack up and head for Manhattan before the EUP guards catch up to us." Billy suggested to Chris. "I mean, since we tied up and gagged an Alicorn princess and committed a heist in Princess Twilight's Castle, they'll likely be posting wanted posters of us. They'll be hunting us down tomorrow morning."

"I know." Chris said to Billy. "We'll leave these Castle Ruins as soon as we're done here and make our way towards Manhattan. There, we'll find a hideout in one of the old abandoned buildings."

"That's fine with me." Tina said.

"Count me in." Billy said to Chris.

As Chris, Billy, and the rest of their friends and gangsters continued to celebrate their victory, the shadow of Carrie White approaches the door leading to were they are. Unbeknownst to them, Carrie picked up a double-bladed Axe that was lodged into a nearby tree that didn't fall on to the ground, yet, and angrily charged up her horn to full power before marching towards the door, growling underneath her breath. Just when one of Billy's earth pony gangsters made his way towards the door where Carrie was from outside, the moment he opened the before trying to take a leak, the unexpected happened right before their very eyes. Carrie blasted the door apart with her magic, sending both the gangster and the door flying and crashing into a nearby wall across from where Carrie was standing at. Before any pony could see what was going on, the pony that was sent flying by Carrie's spell broke his spine when hitting the wall, with his face smashed into a bloody pulp by the door's weight. The next thing they saw was that the earth pony fell dead on the castle floor. The moment Chris and Billy turned around, they see an angry Carrie armed with a double-bladed Axe in her hooves with her horn charging up again. Upon seeing this, Billy's and Chris' eyes widened with fear and shock at what Carrie just done. Before any pony could say anything, Carrie stepped forward, glaring at them with an intent to kill, with Chris making her speech first.

"C-Carrie?!" Chris stammered in fear. "W-What brings you here, ah??"

"Chris Hargensen, you are so dead." Carrie snarled as she raised her ax with her magic. "Just when I was doing fine with Twilight and the Mane 5, you just started ruining my life, AGAIN!!! Prepare to die!!!!"

Before any pony could do anything, Carrie lunged at Tina, raising her ax high above her, and next thing they knew was that, with just one swing of her Axe, Tina's head came flying off from her body, with blood squirting out like a fountain from where neck was. As Tina's headless corpse fell flat on the ground, every pony, other than Carrie, stared at this gruesome scene with horror in their eyes, while Chris started screaming her head off in sheer terror.

"SOMEPONY, STOP HER!!!" Chris yelled while freaking out. "KILL HER!!! KILL HER!!!!!"

As Chris' three remaining unicorn friends charged up their horns with their magic and Billy's gang drawing out their spears and their swords, Billy and Chris made a run for it down into the dark hallways of the old Castle. The fight between Carrie and Chris and Billy's thugs begins. However, despite all the training that Carrie received from Twilight when comes to magic, she's feeling badly outnumbered as the three unicorns keep bombarding her shield with their magic. 

Just when they keep pushing Carrie away from the gang, the Mane 5 jumped into action as they crashed through the castle windows. One-by-one, Carrie sees them land on all four hooves. During the confusion, Carrie charged forward and hacked one pegasus gangster with her Axe, decapitating his left hind leg. The next he knew was that he collapsed on the ground, screaming in pain as he clutched onto his severed leg. In an instant, Carrie teleported herself away from the two groups before pursuing Chris and Billy.

As for the Mane 5, they charged forward engaging 9 remaining gangster ponies in an all-out battle.

"Ya ain't messing up any pony's life no more, YEE-HAW!!!" Applejack snarled as she bucked two enemy earth ponies with two of her hind hooves.

Pinkie jumped over Applejack and slammed a huge candy cane on top of the head of a enemy pegasus, slamming him straight into the ground. Rainbow Dash zoomed right past two enemy pegasus and jabbed one in the groin while they were in mid-air. As Applejack threw a punch at another earth pony, he threw a punch at her instead with both of their hooves hitting each other. Before Applejack knew what was happening, the earth pony gangster jumped over her, pinning the farm pony to the ground and attempted to strangle her. However, Rarity shoots out a blue beam of magic, hitting the enemy earth pony in the face before he fell on his back out cold.

"No ruffian is going to make a ruff out of my friends. HI-YAH!!" Rarity screeched as she made a jump kick at a enemy female unicorn.

After Applejack got back on her hooves she changed forward and went back into the fight with Billy's gang. During her aerial attack, Rainbow Dash was grabbed in the stomach and pinned to the ground by one of the pegasus gangsters.

"Buck her up, everypony." One of the pegasus gangsters hissed.

Before Rainbow Dash could get up, she was met by several kicks in the stomach and on her back. Just when Rainbow was about to lose consciousness, another female Pegasus started screaming in anger and fury. The moment one of the pegasus turned around, he was met by a raging yellow pegasus whacking him in head with a huge cudgel. It was Fluttershy screaming in rage, as she brutally smashed his face in several times with her cudgel until he lost conscious and started gushing out blood from his head. While they were staring at Fluttershy with terror in their eyes, Rainbow got up again and surprisingly punched one of the pegasus gangsters in the neck, damaging his windpipe. In an instant, Rainbow grabbed the enemy pegasus by his hoof and slammed him into another pegasus gangster, with both of them crashing into a nearby pillar.

During the fight between the Fashionista and the three enemy unicorns, Rarity was getting hammered by their magic spells. As she raised her gem shield to ward off the unicorn's spells aimed directly at her, Rarity charged forward in attempting to bash all of them with it on one go. However, one of the unicorns teleported behind the fashionista and blasted her in the back with her magic slamming her straight into a wall. Just when the female unicorns cornered Rarity and are about to finish her off, a huge powerful beam of magic came from their right and struck all three of them at once, sending all of them flying into the old Castle staircase. The moment Rarity turned to her left, she sees Twilight Sparkle appear as she landed on all four hooves. It turns out that Twilight just came in time to blast the three female unicorn thugs away from Rarity. As Rarity got back up on her hooves, she dove in and backed up Pinkie Pie, who was blocking a earth pony's sword with her Giant Candy Cane. Before Twilight could do anything else, Applejack intervened.

"We'll hold them off here, Twi. Ya go find Carrie." Applejack told the purple alicorn princess.

"Thanks, Applejack." Twilight acknowledged as she disappeared into the dark hallways of the Castle.

After seeing Twilight disappear into the darkness, Applejack went back into the fight, helping the Mane 5 drive away Chris' and Billy's gang.




As Billy and Chris made a run for it down the hallways, they reached to nearby open doorway to catch their breath. 

"Billy, did we lose her?!" Chris asked while being exhausted.

Before Billy could answer Chris' question, they heard a lot of shouting, screaming, and explosions coming from the area where they ran away from.

"I don't think so, Chris." Billy responded trying to catch his breath. "You go on ahead and get out while you still can. I'll hold Carrie off here."

"Billy, no! I won't leave you here." Chris protested fearing for the safety of her colt-friend.

"Sorry, Chris but you have already done enough. Now it's my turn to return the favor." Billy insisted. "Don't worry, Chris. I be right behind you." 

To prove it, Billy and Chris both shared a kiss. After that, Billy handed over a spear to Chris. As she picked the spear up with her magic, Chris fled further into the dark hallways. For Billy, he closed doors behind Chris and drew out his sword and shield.

"Come on out, you little bitch." Billy snarled as he made a battle stance with his shield in front and his sword in the back. "This between you and me now."

As Billy slowly moved away from the door, Carrie reappeared from the shadows behind him, raising her Axe with her magic. When Chris reached the old Castle library, she could hear Billy's blood-curdling screams from a mile away. Thinking that her colt-friend is dead, Chris entered the library immediately and closed the doors behind her before hiding behind one of the library bookshelves. After several minutes have passed, the library doors slowly opened, revealing a bloodied female unicorn named Carrie, who's armed with a double-bladed Axe.

"I know you're in here, Chris Hargensen." Carrie snarled in a scary tone. "You can't hide forever, bitch."

After hearing the hostile voice of Carrie, Chris could not tell whether she felt bad in mistreating her or that she still want to put her out of her misery. Despite that, Chris slowly sneaks through the shelves, with Carrie lurking through the aisles of the library in attempting to hunt her down. Chris hid underneath a table nearby, while covering up her mouth with her hoof. As she sees Carrie's legs move around the aisles, unaware that she's underneath one of the tables across her, Chris sees Carrie move left and right, hopefully she will not hear Chris' breathing. After a few seconds, Carrie went  towards her right to continue hunting Chris. As Chris got out from underneath the table, she hid in one of the aisles with her back leaning against a bookcase. When Chris turned her head around, she sees Carrie rummaging through the bookshelves, throwing the books away from her with her magic all over the place. While Carrie was distracted, Chris turns around to see a nearby emergency exit several feet across from where she was standing.

Unable to think straight, Chris went down on her knees and slithered underneath the other tables in front of her. As soon as Chris got up close enough to the emergency exit, she hears footsteps coming closer and closer from behind. Just when Chris turned around and raised her spear, she saw nothing. Upon feeling relived for one minute, she turns around to face the emergency exit only to see Carrie appear right in front of her face, snarling and glaring at her in anger.

"YEEEEEEEK!!!" Chris screamed out loud in fear. "S-STAY AWAY!!!! D-DON'T COME ANY CLOSER!!!!"

As Chris started freaking out, she raised her spear up to her midsection and attempted to thrust it at the bloodied unicorn, only for her to dodge it. The next thing that happened is that Carrie swung her ax from her left, decapitating Chris' horn off her head and the moment she swung her ax from her right, she struck at Chris in her left front leg, chopping half of it off with ease. As blood squirted out from Chris' leg, she started screaming in pain as she hit the floor onto her right side. As the bloodied unicorn circled around an injured Chris, she started taunting the female unicorn with her ranting.

"What are waiting for, Carrie?" Chris screeched in pain while clutching her decapitated hoof. "DO IT! DO IT!!!!"

The female bloodied unicorn raised her Axe way above her head, preparing to behead Chris. But before she can finish Chris off, the unicorn hears another pony shout out loud behind her.

"CARRIE WHITE, STOP!!!" Twilight Sparkle shouted in a Royal Canterlot voice.

The moment both Carrie and Chris turned around, they see Princess Twilight Sparkle appear before them at the doorway entrance of the ancient library. As the pony princess stepped forward, she started glaring at them intensely before saying anymore.

"Carrie, don't do it!!!" Twilight ordered as she lights up her horn with her magic, preparing for the worse. "Just listen to me, Carrie. You have no chance; now drop that weapon!!!"

Before Carrie could do anything, a stray beam of magic shoots through the window from a nearby Royal Guard that is stationed outside of the Old Castle Library in the Everfree Forest. It turns out that the Equestrian Royal Guards have arrived to clean up the mess. Outside of the Castle, there were platoons of unicorn guards, charging up their horns, pegasus guards armed with spears, and earth pony guards armed with lances, swords, and shields; all armed to the teeth.

"HOLD YOUR FIRE!!!" Twilight shouted while giving orders to her guards outside.

As Twilight approached the window, a floodlight appeared and was shinning down on the purple alicorn. Upon recognizing one of the Princesses of Equestria, Flash Sentry ordered the rest of the guards to stand down and hold their fire. Back at the Castle Foyer, during the continuing fight between the Mane 5 and Chris' and Billy's gang, a dozen royal guards stormed through the Castle's entrance, pointing their spears at the thugs. Upon seeing them, the Mane 5 quickly disengaged from the fight and let the thugs get apprehended by the encroaching guards. 

At the library, after the guards, heeded the purple alicorn's orders, Twilight turned around to face Carrie only to see the bloodied unicorn approach a guard statue and grabbed a halberd from its hooves.

"Carrie, think about what your'e doing!!!!" Twilight continued with her speech with the angry unicorn. "The entire area is covered, no exit. There's like 300 guard ponies out there and all are armed with lethal battle spells and spears."

Refusing to listen to what Twilight had to say, Carrie marched forward with her halberd but not before Twilight teleported herself in front of her and grabbed the halberd with her hooves from Carrie, furiously.

"THAT'S ENOUGH, DAMNIT!!!" Twilight roared in a Canterlot voice as she threw the halberd away from Carrie. "This fight is over. THIS FIGHT IS OVER!!!! Look at them! LOOK AT THEM!!! They're well-organized enough to take down even a rampaging Ursa Major or a Dragon!!!"

After a few minutes of silence, Carrie White felt lost in not getting revenge over the very same pony that started the humiliating shenanigans at the School of Gifted Unicorns, in which were directly aimed at her. 

"You kill Chris, and you'll be no different from her!!!!" Twilight grunted in fury. "I mean, look at her, she's a unicorn too just like you. Yet, you dare pick a fight with your own pony kind out of a personal vendetta at school??!! You do this, and either they'll kill you or I'm going to kill you in order to protect others from hurting each other!!!! IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT??? IS IT???"

As Carrie looked out at the window, she sees what Twilight was talking about and shook her head, responding with a silent "No." The moment she sees the guards out there, Carrie turns her back a few feet away from the window before Twilight continued talking to her.

"It's over, Carrie. IT'S OVER!!!" Twilight shouted.

"NOTHING IS OVER!!! NOTHING!!!" Carrie shouted back at the purple alicorn. "You just don't turn it off. It wasn't my fault that all this had to happened. Celestia asked you; I didn't asked you. I did what I had to do to win a good life, but somepony wouldn't let us win. When I first went to Canterlot, I see all those maggots at the school picking on me, SPITTING; calling me a 'Little Whore' and all sorts of vile crap??! Who they are to pick on me, huh?! WHO ARE THEY??? UNLESS, THEY'VE BEEN ME AND BEEN THERE, AND DON'T KNOW WHAT THE HELL THEY'RE YELLING ABOUT!!!!!"

"It's a bad time for every pony, Carrie." Twilight informed the upset unicorn. "But it's all in the past now."

"Well, maybe for you!!!!" Carrie replied, still upset about the situation at hand. "But for me, life in Canterlot means nothing to me. In Ponyville, you taught me that Friendship is Magic. Canterlot, however, is nothing."

"You were already doing very well with me and my friends in Ponyville, Carrie." Twilight said. "I beg of you, please don't let it end like this."

"When you took me to Ponyville, I was able to attend Pinkie's parties, I helped Rarity with the dresses, I was in charge of helping Applejack raise income by selling her apples. But back in Canterlot, I could not find a job in SORTING BOOKS, HUH????!!!!" Carrie screamed as she threw her double-bladed ax at the nearby bookcase and crashing into it, knocking it down to the floor.

Before Twilight could say anymore, she sees Carrie wailing as she collapsed onto the floor right next to a bookshelf behind her. The moment Twilight approached Carrie, the humiliated unicorn was crying again.

"Oh Faust, help me!!!!" Carrie sobbed. "During the time at home, my mother always kept putting me in that wretched closet at the kitchen and telling me 'Pray, Carrie!!! Pray for forgiveness!!' ever single, bucking day. *Hic* *Sob* Do you even know how long I was forced to do this?? I was stuck in that filthy closet and forced to pray for like four to five hours, unable to do anything else!!! *Wailing* I CAN'T STAND IT ANY LONGER!!!"

After seen Carrie cry for several more minutes, Twilight lowered herself down to Carrie's level looked at her in the eyes before saying anything else.

"I-I'm sorry, Twilight. I-I should've listened to you!!!" Carrie sobbed while covering her face up with her hooves as she let tears fall down from her eyes. "Y-You were right, my intent for getting revenge over Chris will not end well for me!!! P-Please forgive me!!!!"

Without saying another word, Carrie felt Twilight embracing her in the alicorn's hooves. Not a moment too soon, the rest of the Element Bearers entered the Old Castle Library, along with a squad of Royal Guards right behind them. Upon seeing Twilight embracing Carrie, they could not help but feel sorry for the peach unicorn for being humiliated again by Chris and her gang. As Twilight turned around to face the Mane 5, she lets go of Carrie before moving on. For Chris, she was struggling on the ground, trying to reclaim her broken horn and her severed hoof. The moment Chris grabbed those two things, Twilight appeared right in front of the injured unicorn, giving her a stern, angry look on her face.

"And you Chris Hargensen, didn't I warned you to stay the hell away from Carrie White?!! Did I??!!" Twilight hissed at the injured unicorn as she looked up at her, giving Twilight a chuckling, weak grin. "You think this is funny, huh?!! Well, you won't be laughing anymore when you have to face the Royal Sisters at Court back at Canterlot. So, as the Princess of Friendship, I hereby place you under arrest for two counts of trespassing upon Royal Grounds, violating all regulations from a restraining order, stealing a magical artifact from my Castle, aggravated assault, harassment, instigating violence, and for kidnapping an alicorn princess."

As Twilight Sparkle leads Chris out of the Old Castle, they had the traitorous unicorn secured on a stretcher with her broken horn and her severed hoof tied underneath it. John Hargensen went with the medical pony team to take Chris to the Ponyville Hospital to be treated of their injuries. As for the rest of Chris' remaining friends, they were all arrested along with Billy's remaining gangsters and taken to the prison underneath Canterlot to await their trial just as soon as Chris leaves the hospital with a prison escort. Tina's headless corpse was sealed up inside a body bag, along with Billy's corpse, which had an axe wound in his back, and are both taken straight to the Ponyville Morgue. Twilight Sparkle and the Mane 5 left the castle while being escorted by a small squad of Royal Guards. At the medical tent, most of the Mane 5 went only treated of their minor injuries and bruises shown all over their bodies. Before Twilight could take Carrie back to her Castle, Applejack steps in first.

"Hey, Twi. Do you think Carrie will be okay after all of this sheer madness and mayhem??" Applejack said in a worried tone.

"I'm not so sure, Applejack. I mean, for Carrie, this already has been the most horrible night ever; unlike any other that is." Twilight responded with a frown on her face. "I'm going to try to have her cleaned up before presenting her at trial as well. I can't blame her for causing such destruction at the school since Carrie was just being possessed by dark magic. However, she still needs to face her trial after murdering two ponies and attempted to murder another one all in one night. She may be our friend, but her actions still come with a price."

"Ah understand." Applejack acknowledged. "We'll drop by at your Castle to see how Carrie is doing later on."

"Thanks, guys." Twilight replied to her friends with a smile on her face as she took Carrie back to her Castle.

As soon as Carrie, Twilight, and Spike went back inside the Friendship Castle, Margaret White emerged from her hiding spot and snuck inside, drawing out her knife and preparing to strike at Carrie from the shadows.

The moment Twilight, Spike, and Carrie entered the Castle of Friendship, Twilight took the bloodied unicorn to the bathroom, while Spike gathered some soap, shampoo, a brush, and a towel from the Castle's Storage Area. Unbeknownst to the two ponies and the little dragon, Margaret infiltrated the Castle and hid somewhere deep within the hallways.

"Just you wait, Carrie." Margaret muttered to herself. "As soon as you're alone, I'll put you out of your misery, forever."

When Carrie started bathing in the tub with warm water caressing her body, Twilight help scrub all over her fur coat to rinse all of the bloodstains off her body with shampoo and a brush. After several minutes of scrubbing, all of the pig's blood finally came off of Carrie's coat. As soon as Carrie got out of the bathtub, Spike picked up one of the towels and wiped all the wetness off her fur coat. While Carrie was being escorted back to her bedroom with Twilight, she still was crying in silent. Despite this however, Twilight still continue to embrace Carrie in her hooves, her that everything is going to be okay at the Court tomorrow morning. As Twilight left Carrie in her room, she and Spike went back to their other room, using her magic to turn off all the lights in her Castle. But for Margaret, she snuck her way through the guest rooms in utter darkness, trying to find Carrie, while carrying her knife around.

Back at Twilight's room, Spike went to sleep on his bed right next to Twilight's bed. As Spike slept the night away, Twilight used her ink quill to write her latest report on her journal about everything that happened since this night. 

"Man, that was a very long, terrifying night me and my friends ever had!!!" Twilight said to herself while writing in her journal. "I'm sure everything will settle down, once we pass on the sentences to Chris and her thugs, as well as giving Carrie a fair sentence at the trial."

For Twilight's pet, Owlicisous, he started to sense something ominous from within Twilight's Castle. With it's blinking in alarm, he flew off its perch and went to investigate the strange presence lurking in the shadows.

During the time Twilight was writing her notes in her room, Carrie couldn't stop shaking at everything that happened since during the Gala. She could not believe to herself on what she almost became. Carrie felt that because she caused so much destruction at the Canterlot Palace and that she's expecting herself to be presented at court for murder, Carrie is starting to feel very afraid that the Royal Sisters, Element Bearers, and Twilight Sparkle will not forgive her that easily; Not after they deal with Chris Hargensen for her crimes. Carrie also feared that if she was deemed guilty at the trial, they might do something harsh to her, such as being sent to live the rest of her life at Tartarus, banishment from Equestria, or be sent towards public execution at Canterlot. Whatever punishment they would give her, Carrie felt that her entire life will be ruined forever, no thanks to Chris Hargensen. As Carrie looked out towards the window, she could not imagine on how will Ms. Rita, Sue Snell, and Tommy Ross would think of her right now after that terrible incident back at Canterlot. They might not forgive her either since they almost got hurt during the Gala. In her mind, Carrie blamed Chris for everything that she did to her, since on the very first day that she attended Celestia's School. Hopefully, Twilight and her friends will find a way to help Carrie avoid her sentences at the trial. But before Carrie went to sleep, she heard some footsteps and scratching on the walls in the castle hallways coming from outside of her room. Little did Carrie know, that some pony is out there still trying to get her. 

"T-Twilight, is that you?!" Carrie asked, while shivering in fear.

After a few minutes of silence, a sinister voice spoke from outside Carrie's bedroom.

"No, it's not my dear." The dark voice spoke in a creepy tone. "It's time to face your judgement for all the sins you have caused while you and that wretched Princess left me to rot in that Mental Institution!!!"

Upon hearing what the dark voice just said, Carrie's face fell totally blank, realizing that her zealous mother Margaret White is here, prowling around in Twilight's Castle in the middle of the night. The moment she saw the shadow of a blade emerge from underneath the door, Carrie immediately went to find a safe place to hide away from Margaret. After making a few loud bangs on the door, Margaret finally kicked the door down with her hooves, while her holding the butcher knife with her teeth. As Margaret looked around the bedroom, she wasn't able to find Carrie anywhere. Unknown to Margaret, Carrie was hiding inside the closet while holding her breath with her hooves. Just when Margaret was about to leave, she spotted a little fold on the floor rug pointing straight at the closet. 

"Come out, come out, wherever you are!!!" Margaret hissed as she walked towards the closet with holding her knife with her right hoof as the blade glistening in the moon light.

The moment Margaret White opened up the closet with her magic, Carrie unleashed a shield spell from her horn, shoving Margaret away from where she was and crashed into the side of the bed. The moment Margaret felt dazed, Carrie makes a run for it out of her bedroom and into the hallway.

"Come back here, you little demon!!!" Margaret snarled as she got up on her hooves and drew out her butcher knife from her sheath. "You can't escape your fate; you will die for all of your sins, Carrie!!!"

As Margaret chased Carrie down the hallways, the raging elder unicorn started shooting out magic spells at her daughter, with Carrie casting a shield barrier behind her back to ward off Margaret's attacks. Margaret teleported herself in front of Carrie and swiped her butcher knife at the frightened unicorn. As Carrie backed away from Margaret, she screamed out loud.

Back at Twilight's room, after she finished writing in her journal about her recent report, Twilight heard screaming echoing throughout her Castle hallways, alerting her and Spike immediately. At the same time, Twilight's pet Owlicisous came bursting into the room, screeching and chirping in fright, as if he's trying to tell Twilight and Spike that something bad is happening to Carrie.

"Sweet Celestia, w-what was that noise??" Spike shrieked as he woke up from his sleep, hearing the startling noise.

"I don't know!!!" Twilight spoke in an alarmed tone. "But I think some pony is after Carrie again!!! Spike, go raise the alarm, NOW!!!"

"I'm on it!!!" Spike responded as he immediately got up from his bed and activated the alarm.

As the silent, buzzing alarm went off, Twilight stormed out of her bedroom to find the source of Carrie screams, with her pet owl following her from behind. 

"Hang on, Carrie!!" Twilight muttered to herself as she lit her horn up to illuminate the dark hallways. "I'm coming!!!"

Meanwhile, back at the other side of the dark hallways of Twilight's Castle, Carrie ran all the way to the end of the hallway and went inside another guest room. Before she could find another place to hide, Margaret blasted her way into the room that Carrie is in, cornering the frighten unicorn at the back of the window facing the doorway where the crazy unicorn lady is. 

"NO!! P-Please, don't hurt me!!!" Carrie pleaded with her mother.

"It's too late, you little she-devil!!!" Margaret hissed as she raised her blade above her head. "SAY YOUR BUCKING PRAYERS, GIRL!!!!!"

Before Margaret could stab Carrie with her butcher knife, Carrie used her magic to shield herself from Margaret's attack. In just less than a second, Carrie shoved Margaret away from her and hurled several objects from the wardrobe nearby. However, Margaret used her magic to blast away every object heading straight for her. After every object was pushed aside from Margaret, she sees Carrie teleported herself right behind her before Carrie made another run for it. As the chase continues throughout the castle hallways, Carrie eventually lead her rampaging mother down to the kitchen and grabbed an nearby spatula. The moment Margaret entered the kitchen, she was met with a whack in the face by Carrie's spatula. Unfortunately, before Carrie could run out of the kitchen, she felt her right hind leg being grabbed by Margaret's magic. Carrie started screaming again as she felt her mother dragging her through the kitchen floor. 

"You think you can escape from me, just because they let you live in this wretched Castle, do you?!!!" Margaret sneered as she drew out her butcher knife again. "It's time to end this, she-devil."

Just as soon as she was about to stab Carrie with her butcher knife, Margaret felt a shockwave of magic hitting her in the chest. Before Margaret knew what was going on, Twilight Sparkle appeared from the darkness and used her magic to push her away from Carrie. Just like that, Margaret crashed into a nearby cupboard and fell flat on the kitchen floor. As Twilight helped Carrie up on hooves again, they see Margaret draw out two knifes with her magic.

"So, Princess Twilight, are you here to finish off where we started from?!!!" Margaret snarled as she is preparing herself to lunged at the purple alicorn and the peach unicorn.

"Why don't you go pick on some pony your own size?!" Twilight growled as she charged up her horn with her magic. "Actually, screw that!! If it's a fight you what, it'll be fight that you'll get, Margaret White!!!" 

As Margaret charged forward, Twilight lunged at the crazy unicorn with a surge of magic surrounding her purple body. In an instant, both the old unicorn and the purple alicorn clashed into each other, with various kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and glasswares flying all over the place. After battering each other with their spells and sharp objects, the two ponies jumped on each other, trading blows with their hoofs, until they took their fight all the way to the main foyer, with Carrie following from behind. Upon seeing Twilight fend off her evil mother with such daring intentions and fighting her battles for her, Carrie could not help but think of Twilight as part of her family than Margaret White. In fact, it became clear to her that Carrie made the right decision to have Twilight let her live in this Castle with her. Unlike Margaret, Twilight was able to show how a true family member takes care of others and looks out for them. Just when Twilight gained the upper hand, however, Carrie spotted something that caught her attention in which made her eyes widened with horror. Suddenly, when Twilight pinned her down onto the shinning floors, Margaret drew out another knife from underneath her cloak and made a sneak attack by stabbing Twilight in her side. Upon feeling the knife piercing her flesh, Twilight gasped in pain as she hit the ground on her right. 

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" Carrie screamed out loud as she charged straight at her mother without hesitation.

Before Margaret could see what was coming, Carrie immediately swiped the knife away from her mother, slammed her right hoof across her face and damaged Margaret's cheekbone, and rammed her horn straight into her mother's chin with her horn piercing right through her skull. The moment she felt Carrie's horn piercing her skull, Margaret let out a deathly, choking gurgle as blood started spilling out from her mouth and skull, with her eyes widened in a blank stare. As Carrie pulled her horn out from her mother's head, she blasted Margaret away with her magic, slamming her mother's corpse into the palace doors. Upon impact, the doors were forced them widen open, with Margaret's corpse hitting the grassy fields outside of Twilight's Castle. 

The moment she turned around, Carrie sees Twilight bleeding in her side while lying on the ground going in and out of consciousness. As soon as Carrie went over to Twilight, she sees the purple alicorn slowly closing her eyes while clutching her bleeding wound. Much to Carrie's horror, Twilight fell unconscious and bleeding to death.

"No! No! No!! Twilight, please hang on!!!" Carrie wailed as she let her tears come out of her eyes. "SOMEPONY, HELP ME!!!!!!!!"

Just when Carrie started wailing out loud for help, several guard ponies, Spike, and the Mane 5 appeared only to see Twilight Sparkle badly injured from a critical stab wound. As soon as the medical team arrived, along with an escort of Pegasus guards, they immediately took Twilight to the Hospital in Canterlot to be treated of her injuries. However, the rest of the Mane 5, Spike, and Carrie could not help but worry a whole lot when seeing Twilight suffering from a deep wound. For Carrie, she started crying in her hooves again, fearing that the very same pony that treated her like a sister is walking on a thin line between life and death. As for Margaret's corpse, they put it inside a body bag and took it to the morgue. With Carrie seeing Twilight get hauled off to the hospital, the rest of the Mane 5 comforted her and told her that Twilight will hopefully be okay.
> Epilogue: Finally Free From Sorrow; A New Beginning

Shortly after Twilight Sparkle was taken to the Canterlot Hospital for an immediate recovery, the rest of Twilight's parents and her brother showed up at the Canterlot Palace along with Carrie, Tommy, Sue, Spike, and the Mane 5. They all had worried looks upon their face after learning about what happened at Twilight's Castle from Carrie. They all stayed there, hoping that they'll be able to save Twilight from her injuries. During their stay at Canterlot, Carrie couldn't help but feel so worried about Twilight's recovery. Since she saved Carrie from getting killed by Margaret, the peach unicorn wouldn't stop thinking that it was her fault that Twilight is in the Hospital. Despite that, Tommy embraced Carrie in his hooves not want her to breakdown in tears again. As for the Mane 5, they were all crying silently in their sleep for not getting to the Castle in time to help Twilight stop Margaret's evil rampage. Eventually, after 5 depressing hours, the nurse from the Hospital came into their waiting room. Before anypony could say anything, the nurse makes her speech about the operation.

"We're able to save Princess Twilight during the operation." The nurse spoke in a calm voice.

"Oh, Thank Faust!!!" Carrie whimpered. "She's okay, isn't she?!"

"Yes, but she's still needs some rest. We already wrapped her wound up with a huge dress bandage." The nurse explained further before filing up her paper work at the reception desk.

"It's going to be alright, darling." Rarity spoke to Carrie in a sympathetic tone. "We all know that Twilight is always able to stay strong in terrible times like this."

As Twilight's parents and the rest of the Mane 5 felt relived that Twilight will gain a fully recovery, they all went to get some breakfast, while Tommy and Sue took Carrie and Spike to visit Twilight in her hospital dorm. The moment they came to visit Twilight, she was already reading a book that was right next to her while still lying on her bed. The purple alicorn was wearing a huge dress wound that was wrapped around her injury with her wings stretched out by a harness to prevent any complication of letting her wounds heal. The moment Twilight saw the three ponies and Spike in her dorm, Spike jumped on the bed and hugged her immediately, while crying in tears of happiness that she was alright. For Carrie, she sat by Twilight before she could say anything.

"I'm so sorry for what happened to you back at your Castle, Twilight." Carrie sobbed silently. "If only I hadn't dragged you into this, I'm sure none of this would've happened. I know you were doing the right thing for me and my mother but maybe if my mother could at least saw the truth in both of us, I'm sure she wouldn't be inside a body bag."

"It's okay, Carrie." Twilight responded with a weak smile. "I was grateful that you were able to save me before it got worse."

"No, Twilight!! You're the one who saved me." Carrie protested while tears were coming out of her eyes. "I may not be as strong and brave as you, but you were able to help me find the confidence that I needed to start a new life in Canterlot. For that, I owe you a lot, especially when you saved me from my mother and from my rage on Chris."

In just less than a minute, Carrie started sobbing on Twilight's stomach, with her patting on Carrie's head with her left hoof. For Sue and Tommy, they were both relived that Carrie felt a lot more better when getting support from Princess Twilight in just more than two weeks. If Twilight hadn't had what it takes for Carrie to find her path as a good citizen of Equestria, Carrie may fall apart in sadness and in grief, or die trying. After several more days in the Hospital, Twilight Sparkle was finally released. 

Soon afterwards, Chris Hargensen, her remaining friends, and Billy's remaining gangsters were all being put on trial for their crimes against the Equestrian crown. After going over the evidence and interviewing with the witnesses for testimony, Princess Celestia had sentenced all of the crooks to work at a prison mining camp at Saddle Arabia for life. As for Chris' father, he was stripped of his entire career for causing corruption, blackmailing, and bribery at Celestia's School and was banished to Saddle Arabia for life. For Carrie White, despite her two counts for murder, Twilight has testified that Carrie saved her from her violent mother and that Carrie only acted out of self-defense against two of Chris' and Billy's thugs. So, in order to pay up all debts, Carrie's sentence was reduced to only one year in Ponycadero, while working in community service as a seamstress, with following Rarity's advice voluntarily. 

As for Tommy Ross and Sue Snell, they were both married after they left the School of Gifted Unicorns and moved to Ponyville to start a new life with their children. Also, they did their best to keep in touch with their friend Carrie to make sure she is doing all right at Ponycadero. For the Mane 6, they all made sure to visit Carrie at Ponycadero so that she will not be alone there. Even though Carrie had to put up with her temporary sentence, she didn't actually mind because Carrie knew that she still have to start somewhere that will not involve any bullying or any harassment in the future. As for the Royal Sisters, they hired several security guards at Celestia's School to ensure the protection of unicorns, as well as preventing any more bullying occur there.	





After Carrie's sentence, she was adopted to the Sparkle Family after learning of how she saved their daughter from her homicidal mother. Furthermore, Carrie's life as Twilight's newest little sister was already well-approved by her new foster-mother Twilight Velvet and by Princess Celestia. Upon hearing all of this, Carrie never felt so happy in all her life that she was able to live with a family that truly cared about her, the way they cared about Twilight Sparkle. Before she went to live with Twilight in her Castle, she paid one last visit to her mother's grave at Canterlot. The moment Carrie came by Margaret's Tomb Stone, she spat on it, claiming that Margaret was never the kind of mother that Carrie wanted her to be. As Carrie continued to settle her life in living in Twilight's Castle, she eventually met another unicorn at Ponyville named Silversteel Valiant who is just as troubled as she was in his past life. However, after going on several dates with him at Ponyville, they were both finally married. Silversteel now serves as a Royal Guard under the command of Princess Twilight Sparkle and Carrie now works as an assistant seamstress at Rarity's Canterlot Boutique. Five years later, Carrie and Silversteel were able to give birth to a unicorn colt at the Ponyville Hospital. During their son's first year at Cheerilee's School, Carrie explained to him her entire story of everything that happened when she was in her early teens at Celestia's School inside her son's bedroom within the Castle of Friendship.

"And that was happened in Canterlot and in Ponyville." Carrie explained finished her story time with her son.

"Wow, mom. That was a very a frightening, but an amazing story you had there!!" Carrie's son spoke while in shock. "So, were you finally happy that Princess Twilight was able to help you find your path and fulfill your dreams while finding friendship in Equestria?"

"I guess you could say that, my dear." Carrie replied as she smiled at her son. "Yes. Because of her, my journey to find friendship in Equestria has finally just begun."

"So, you were Twilight's hero, aren't you?!" Carrie's son asked.

"No, my son." Carrie replied as she looked up to the sky and smiled. "She was my hero!!!"




At the second floor of the Castle of Friendship, Twilight Sparkle appeared at the balcony and saw a clear view of all of Ponyville below her enraptured in a dark-blue night sky. As the Princess of Friendship smiled, Twilight lit up her horn and shot out an intense magic beam up into the sky. After several seconds, Twilight's magic made several firework explosions up in mid-air. As the fireworks made intense popping noises, they displayed the cutie marks of her and the Mane 5. After all that, the fireworks exploded into the night sky, revealing Carrie's cutie mark as a full red heart, instead of a heart ripped in two. As the fireworks continued to explode in the night sky, Twilight just remembered a wonderful memory of what happened during her first days at the School of Gifted Unicorns.

"Carrie, maybe if I were to help her lot more sooner, then maybe things will not get out of control in the later years." Twilight said to herself as she looked up to the dark-blue sky.




In the Past:

During Twilight's second-year semester at the School of Gifted Unicorns, while Twilight as a little filly unicorn, she was able to live up to her name when Twilight Sparkle was able to get a 100% on several of her physics, science, and magical tests. As a result, most of the unicorns, including Chris, Tina, and Sue, were treating Twilight like a Queen, much to the purple unicorn's embarrassment. Not that it matters, Twilight was able to do nothing more than smile back at her immediate fans, not wanting to draw that much attention to herself, while moving on. Shortly after school, Twilight meets another little unicorn filly that was crying at the school courtyard, while Chris and Tina were dumping juice and water and throwing tampons at her. Much to Twilight's annoyance, she confronted Chris and Tina and gave them a scary-looking glare before they backed away and left the school without another word. After they left, Twilight went over to the filly's side and took her to Donut Joe's and ate several donuts with her.

"I-I don't know how to thank you, uhhhh......" The little filly said not knowing who was the purple unicorn filly's name.

"I'm Twilight Sparkle. What's your name?" Twilight introduced before asking the filly's name.

"I-I'm Carrie White." The soft-spoken unicorn filly answered nervously.

After Carrie ate several donuts with Twilight, the purple unicorn smiled at her as they both left Donut Joe's and took Carrie back to her home, while they're were talking about what they both went over at school, other than dealing with their bullies. When they both reached Carrie's mother's house, the little unicorn went on ahead and turned around to wave goodbye to Twilight Sparkle. As soon as Twilight waved goodbye to Carrie, she whistled along the way back home before resting up for the next day.




Back in the present, Twilight was finally happy that Carrie is able to begin her journey to find friendship after 16 long years of suffering and torture by the hooves of her bullies and her mother. 

"You have nothing to worry about, Carrie." Twilight said to herself as she smiled. "I'll always do my best to protect your friendship in Equestria because you'll always be my sister."

Not a moment too soon, Twilight turns around to face the doorway leading back inside her Castle. When she went inside, Twilight disappears into the Castle as she used her magic to close the door behind her. Up towards the night sky, the two huge exploding fireworks portrays the faces of Twilight and Carrie both smiling at each other before the lights disappear into the night.
