On the date Fluttershy’s birthday Discord wonders off and retrieves a present from another Solar System. Due to Discord, the evil of that Solar System has made its way to equestria. But the present that Discord brings home is probably the last thing that can stop the evil known as the krawl. Can this new being known as a Spectrobe save Equestria, or will the Krawl destroy the world.
It was just another day in ponyville. Birds were chirping and a certain draconequus was pacing around in a panic. It was fluttershy's birthday and he wanted his gift to her to be special.
“This is a disaster, I have nothing. What do I do, I know, Me what do I do.”Discord says pacing about, as he summons another version of himself.
“You are a god, just create something.” The copy discord says. The original Discord creates a copy of angel. “No,no, no. Something more creative.”
Oh I don't know, after all the gifts I have given her over the the amount of time I’ve known her I don't know” The original Discord said as the copy of angle explodes in pink dust and a cloud appears over discord and starts raining chocolate.
“You have been in this universe for so long you starting to get dull. Go explore, like you used to, that should give you some Idea.”
“Your right!” the original discord cheers as the second discord disappears. “What a smart guy.”
Discord went up into the air and began to open a portal. When he began his spell, the portal started to open by itself. And it changed color from white to blue. “ What’s This?” Out of curiosity he ventured inside.
What he saw when he arrived was something that shocked even him. He was in space. ”Well that's never happened before” he said to himself. He had appeared in a different universe. “I have never been here before. Now which one should I explore first.” He said flying to about the center of the solar system. When he reached his intended destination. He suddenly summoned a couch with a table and a bottle.It all floated level as if it were on a floor, but it was in space. Discord the proceeded to sit on the couch and put the bottle sideways and spun it. It spun and spun until after a very long time began to slow down. It stopped pointing to a very peaceful planet full of green and very rocky and rough terrain. he slowly floated to it and soon was on the planet’s surface.
“Ok, what here is present material.” Discord began slowly roaming around the planet searching for a gift. He kept walking until he ended up in a ravine and came to an abrupt halt. “ I feel a disturbance in the force.” Discord said completely serious. He turned to some rocks to his left and started to move them. After moving all the rocks he found a little creatur. It was a cross between a lion and a wolf. But it seemed to be frozen in time. It didn’t even seem to be alive. It appeared to be nothing more than a fossil.
“Fluttershy loves animals, I’m sure she’ll love this, but not in this state. This planet's condition is probably not very good for the creature.” Discord grabbed the fossil and flew back to his portal. What he failed to notice about the fossil is that, on its back it was glowing a slight purple. Discord eventually gets back to his home world and shuts his portal behind him. With the fossil still in hand he heads to Fluttershys cottage.
Fluttershy was out with the girls at this time so discord had the place almost to himself. But it doesn't take long for discord to run into angel bunny.
”Oh, what have you come to pester me about now?” discord said to the small bunny. Angel just stares at him and points to the fossil in his arms.”What, this? This is my present to fluttershy.A new pet for her scene she loves animals so much.” Discord summons a table in the center of the room and places the fossil on it. “ Stand back angel bunny while I work my magic.” Discord says while doing a bunch of unnecessary stretches. Discord then took a few steps back himself and began his spell. As if he was pushing open a door, discor copied the same motion at the fossil in the center of the room. Almost instantly after doing so, dozens of colorful beams shot out of his hands and hit the fossil. The room was cover in a blinding light. After what felt like an eternity, the light dimmed to where discord could see again. “Well, this is new.” Discord said staring at what used to be the fossil.
“What the!? Where am i? Why am i here?” The new much larger creature said in confusion. The creature was orange with its face the structure of a shield. Around its neck was two beam that went up to a point. The rest of the creature had the structure of a lion with heavily decorated armor.
”It can talk! Oh Goodie, Fluttershy will love you.” Discord said happily.
“who are you? Some kind of krawl?”
”Ah where are my manners, introductions, I am discord the god of chaos, and I am a draconequus, and you are?
“Whatever you did to me gave me knowledge. I have no name but i am a spectrobe. A leozar to be exact.”
“A leozar, fascinating. I can’t wait for you to meet fluttershy,she is going to love you!”
“Fluttershy? Who is that?”
”She is the nicest pony ever. You are our new best friend. Also what are these grim you mentioned.
“They are call the krawl. Nasty things that can destroy planets. Where you pulled me from was a place without magic.”
”Well, I have never heard of these creatures, I was right, I need to get out more. So tell me about yourself, like how did you get where I found you, and what are spectrobes?”
“Spectrobes are simply put the bane of the krawl. In a even fight we are the only thing that can stop them. But when i was trying to buy time for my son and wife to escape from a krawl attack they overwhelmed me. Your magic pushed me past what i was at the time.”
”So selfless.” Discord was listening to the spectrobe, while eating popcorn on a couch. “You say my magic pushed you past what you were at the time. I am guessing this is not your only form, is it?”
“You would be correct. This is the last form that the fossil you found would be. The first stage after we awaken is our child form. Then given time we grow into our adult form. That was the form i was in when i was beaten. The form im in now. Is the final form a spectrobe can take. Each stage looks different based on which kind of spectrobe it “
”Impressive. I was always this way, but I was never a, what you might consider, a good guy.”
“So once a bad guy? You have that vibe. What did you do?”
”Oh, I did nothing, except cause absolute chaos. I was so bad in fact, that I was turned into stone for 1000 years before i was set free to be turned back in hopes I would be good.”
“Wow you were bad. I won’t judge your past but if you slip i will stop you got it!”
”Oh how interesting, the kitten threatens the god of chaos.” Discord teased.
“I’m not just strong.” he lets a small flame out of his mouth. “I got bite to go with it.”
”Well kitten, well have to have a magic contest later, Fluttershy is about to come home.” Discord said walking over to a window.
“Oh this isn’t magic. But sure i can show you some moves.” he says as she walks in and squeals.
“OH MY GOSH! SUCH A CUTE KITTEN!”
” I’m guessing you like my present fluttershy.” Discord giggled
“I’m a gift? I’m flattered to meet you then.”
“It even talks! Yes i love it. But what is it?”
” It calls itself a spectrobe.”
“So a new animal then? Where did you get it?”
“I got him from a different planet, and he was merely a fossil. Tell her about yourself, like you did me.”
“Well i have no name but my kind is called a leozar. And it’s been a long time since i got to stretch my legs. I’m so sorry but is there anywhere i can get a good run in?”
”Fluttershy, why don’t you go outside and play with you new pet.” Discord teased again.
“PET!? I’M NO PET!” he roars in anger at the thought of it.
“You don’t have to be my pet but can we maybe do something please???” she says while rubbing leo.
“Ohhh that’s good! Sure I’ll come with you.”
The two walk out and head to the park. After a while they decided to have leozar meet the rest of fluttershies friends. But about halfway in town a blue furred rainbow maned pony spots him.
”Wow, who's the new guy, he look pretty awesome!” Rainbow dash said landing in front of them.
‘I can't just keep giving them my species name. So hmmm oh i got it’ he thought. “My name is leon.”
”So leon where did you come from, you know what nevermind.” She turns towards fluttershy” I’ll just follow you, scene I’m guessing you going to introduce him to the rest of the girls.” Rainbow turns back to leon “ Nice to meet you, I’m rainbow Dash. The coolest pegasus in Equestria!” Rainbow dash finished.
“The coolest huh? Well nice to meet you. I hope you not just talk.” he says with a smirk.
“Oh, bring it on!” Rainbow challenged.
“Oh dear no. don't fight please. Well if you don't mind that is.”
Hearing that leon backs off. “I didn't mean anything by it. I just don't tend to take things as they appre is all.”
”Sure.” Rainbow said sarcastically as she continued to follow fluttershy. “So where to next?”
“Well why don’t we head over to Rarity's place next.”
“Sounds like a plan”
It wasn’t long till they arrived. Rarity was in her dressing room when the sound of her door bell went off. “Coming!” Rarity sang. When she entered the main lobby, she stopped in shock. “ Oh darling, Who’s your new friend?” Rarity asked Fluttershy and Rainbow dash.
“My name is leon. Nice to meet such a sweet lady.” He said with a bow.
”Oh, what a gentlecolt. Its an honor to meet you, I am Rarity” Rarity said returning the bow.
“I’ll be honest i have no idea where i am or what I’m doing here. But it was worth it to see you.”
”Oh, stop.” Rarity said blushing.
“Were are on our way to introduce him to the rest of the girls. Wanna come? Rainbow dash asked.
“Of course, darling.” Rarity answered as they left the shop.
“Well the last stop is to Applejacks place on the farm.”
“So she live and works i guess there? Sounds like my kind of job.” he said as they arrive at the gate.
When they arrived they could see Applejack stacking hay next to the barn.
“Think she could use a paw?” leon asked.
”Applejack has it under control, but she always enjoys when others lend a helping hoof.” Rarity said.
“Alright then.” he said walking over. “Hey miss? Mind if i give you a hand?”
” Well houd’y there feller. I would very much appreciate it.” Applejack answered.
“Any spot? Or got somewhere in mind?”
“Take this stack into the barn, over yonder.” She said picking up a bale and bringing it into the barn.
To her shock he picks the rest of them up at the same time and carries them. “There we go. That was a good warm up.” leon said cokliy.
”Now no need to show off like Rainbow Dash, sugarqube.I appreciate the help.” Apple jack said grateful.
“This here is leon. We were just coming to get you so we all could meet him properly.”
”Thanks to leon here, I can come with ya’ll now since he just help me finish my work for today.” Applejack said.
“And it was my pleasure. Now then where are we headed now?”
“Now we heat to the castle, with Twilight.” Rainbow dash said.
“Darling aren’t you forgetting somepony.” Rarity asked.
“Somepony new is in town and she hasn't popped up yet, she will either meet us there or she is waiting for us in town.” Rainbow stated. Rarity opened her mouth to argue, but couldn’t. So they made their way to the castle.
When they got to the castle no one appeared to be there and the lights are out. “Lets just play along.” leon said.
Rainbow dash opened the door and let Leon go first. Once he stepped inside, he was stopped by a pink pony. “SURPRISE!” The pony said firing a party cannon in his face.
“ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” he roared trying to get the strange stuff out of his eye. “What was that for?”
“Well your are a new face in town so i thought I’d try to make you smile. Did it work?”
“It did kind of. Thanks. My name is leon. What is your name?”
“Pinkie diane pie but most just call me pinkie. Well were you surprised?”
“Not really. That would have worked on a pony but i don’t need much light to see.”
“Aw drat! Well let’s head to where i have a surprise for you.” He simply nods and the group wanders into the castle.
”Now where can we find, Twilight” Rainbow dash asked the group.
“She’s in the library.” said a little green and purple dragon. Walking past them.
“Hey Squirt.” Rainbow dash said to the dragon.
“So who- no what are you?” leon asked in confusion.
“I can ask the same thing of you. I am a dragon, and the names Spike.” Spike said replying to Leon.
“Well young one my name is leon and I’m a spectrobe.”
Spike looked to the others and they nodded.”Follow me to the library.” Spike said leading them to twilight. They soon came across a giant door, and Spike opened it to reveal a alicorn almost buried in books.
“Hi girls! Who’s your new friend?” Twilight asked.
“Hello there. Im Leon. And you are?”
“I’m Princess Twilight Sparkle. But please, call me Twilight.” She answered.
“Okay Twilight. Nice to meet you. I’m surprised though. I’m a giant new thing and yet you all have been nothing but kind.”
”We have seen and fought crazier things. I mean look at discord.” Twilight said “ We are also Elements of Harmony so we are all kind.”
“Elements of Harmony? Never heard of that.”
“Well let me tell you, and maybe you could tell us about yourself.” Twilight asked.
“Sure, But my tale isn’t a happy one. Do you still wish to hear it?”
”Of course. Alright everypony gather around.” Twilight said as everypony and dragon sat in a circle.
Leon sat down and sighed. “My story is a sad tale. Long ago before this world existed I was living a happy life with my wife and son. Till the first krawl came. Our pride tried to hold them off but while we could beat them with a decent amount of work one on one the krawl fight dirty. My family was the last to fall. The sad thing is any spectrobe who dies becomes a fossil that can be brought back to life but not with the same level of intellect they had the first time if done by machine. But this one magic gives me hope.” leon motioned with a paw at discord. “When he brought me back I had my reason intact and also made me evolve to my last form.”
“Last… form?” Fluttershy muttered.
“Spectrobes have three stages. The first stage is the child stage, the second and the one I died in was my adult fom. And the last stage and the one I am in now is my evolved form. My son was just a child form!” he started to cry. “And I was to weak to stop them!”
”Oh, my.” Rarity said sadly.
“Why did I have to be so weak!!?? If I had been in this form before the attack maybe they would have made it!”
“There there leon. It’s okay. You're with friends now.” fluttershy said stroking his fur, trying her best to calm him.
“Really? We just met and we are friends already? Thank you.”
”Yea, now were friends, AKA the coolest ponies ever!” Rainbow dash confirmed.
“The coolest? That sounds nice. Now I think I have told enough of my story. May you start your’s?”
“Well It all started when I came to town, as a task assigned to me by Princess Celestia-” Twilight started but was cut off.
*BOOM*
“What in tarnation was that?” Applejack said looking towards the entrance of the castle were the sound came from.
“That isn’t possible! It’s the krawl!” Leon said charging to the door. When he made it outside, ponyville was coverd in dark clouds. In the center of town was a tornado. Almost without thought Leon charged into the tornado.
When he makes it to the center he sees his foe. ‘Just two basic ones. I got this!’ he thought as he charges one with a paw raised. He brought it down, leaving a huge claw mark on one of the krawl. “You won't destroy this world!” he roars as he again swipes at the krawl dealing a bit more damage and knocking him down. Leon jumps back a few feet, while the first krawl gets up. The other krawl walks beside his wounded comrade and charge Leon. Leon does the same and charges at them while his armor forms right in front of him and forms something similar to a wedge. When Leon reaches them, his armor cuts both of them in half. Leon only got a few seconds to breath before another krawl appeared before him. This krawl was much bigger than the first ones. The krawl took a massive swing at Leon knocking him far back across the battlefield. The giant krawl slowly made his way towards Leon.“TAKE THIS!” Leon opened his mouth and a bright light started to glow from within him. “BURN YOU MONSTER!” he roars as he fires a huge beam of flame taking out the massive krawl and dispelling the tornado.
Having seen the battle rainbow is in awe. “THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!”
Leon walks out gasping. “Not ...huf... used ...huf… to… huf ...this ...huf... form!”
“You okay sugarcube?” Applejack worriedly asked.
He nods. “Ya just tired. First time fighting in this form.”
“I guess being in a new body means you used too much energy? You just need practice is all. But first I must tell the princesses.” Twilight walked off to go find Spike.When she found him, he was reading his favorite comic book, The Power Ponies. “Spike could you take a letter?” She asked.
Spike drops his comic and grabs a parchment and quill and starts writing. “Dear princess Celestia. I have grave news. A new enemy capable of destroying this planet has been spotted in ponyville. But don't worry. A new friend of ours ,the spectrobe leon, has saved the town. I have a feeling this is just the beginning of this dark problem. What do we do?”
“Your faithful student Twilight Sparkle.” When he finished, he rolled up the scroll and blew flames on it.
That night leon is tossing and turning in a panic restless sleep. He is seeing the first death of his wife and son.
Luna was doing her rounds when she saw a strange dream that she could tell was a nightmare.
“Not if we have anything to say about it.” she muttered and entered the nightmare and with a magic pulse banish the nightmare.
Leon was stuck seeing it for a while till a bright flash makes it all go away. When he tries to look for the source he is shocked to see a horned winged pony. “Who are you and why are you even in my dreams!?”
“Does thou not know? One of our jobs as Princess is to monitor the dreams of our subjects and banish nightmares. When we saw a black door we were duty bound to assist you. Now what are you?”
“A spectrobe your grace. The name is leon and I’m a leozar.”
“I see now pray tell what is a ,as you say, spectrobe?” Luna asked.
“We are were an ancient race. We once spanned the stars. Tell they came. The krawl. We tried to beat them but while we can beat them one on one they don’t play fair. I’m sad to say i’m the only spectrobe species alive and only because your friend, I think he said his name was discord? Rebirthed me out of a fossil.”
“Hmm, most interesting and I assume you have meet fluttershy and her friends?” Luna asked
“Yes i have. They are to kind to me. I wish i had known such kindness from my tribe.”
“You had a tribe, do tell.”
“It wasn't a big one but for the most part when i was a child we were family. But when i first evolved i felt like i was being shunned for doing so early.”
”That’s horrible, why would evolving early be a bad thing?”
“Almost all of the tribe evolved at the same time. The fact that a very small number of us were early was seen as a bad omen.”
“Oh, well don’t expect any of my ponies to ack so rude to you as your tribe did.” Luna said trying to warm Leon. ”Morning is going to come soon, you should rest. My sister and I will travel to Twilight's castle and meet you in the real world.”
“Alright then. Nice to meet you.” Leon said as Luna floated away and a much better dream started to appear. He was still just a leo and was running with one of the few friends he had ever made. Oddly enough it was not a leo but a blue and silver being, but no matter how hard leon tried to, he couldn’t remember what its name was or what it looked like exactly.
When leon wakes he see twilight in a tizzy. “What has got you so worried?”
“Oh nothing except the fact that princess luna is coming to meet you!”
“She wants to meet me? Guess my chat in my dreams wasn’t just me lucid dreaming.”
”We need to get ready,Spike-” Twilight was cut off
“Just made sure the place was clean.” Spike said coming from around a corner.
“Thanks, Spike.” Twilight said grateful.
“so you’re spike. I don’t think we have met yet.”
“I don’t think we have, let's start over. Hi I’m Spike, son of Celestia, nice to meet you.”Spike said holding out his claw for Leon to shake.
“Nice to finally met you. Im leon the spectrobe. So what are you?”
“I’m a dragon. The only one known in Equestria.”
“A dagon? Never heard of that.”
“I guess we’re in the same boat, I’ve never heard of a Spectrobe.”
“Well lets just try and get along. Since we are living in the same house.”
“Well said.” Spike said as they heard noise from outside.
“That must be them!” Twilight said rushing towards the door. She opened the door and two Alicorns walked though. One was the pony Leon talked to last night. The other was as tall as him, she had pure white fur and a flowing rainbow mane.
“Mom!” Spike said running to Celestia and hugging her.
“What bring you here? Me? If so i must know why?” leon was fairly nervous himself.
“Greetings, I am princess Celestia. I have come to meet you Leon.” Celestia said in a slight bow, with a gentle tone.
“Dont bow. If anyone should bow its me. But i won't since i would probably plop on the floor.”
Celestia chuckled. “That's quite alright. Now about you tell me how you come here over a cup of tea.” Celestia suggested.
“Sure. I’m not the most nimble though. So i might break the tea set.” Leon said sheepishly.
“Follow me.” Spike said as he lead them to the map room.
“This is interesting. What is this?” leon was looking all over in slight awe.
“It’s a map that allows us to go to areas where there are friendship problems.” Twilight informed.
“Are friends that important to your kind?”
“Of course. It’s basically where our power came from and how we got this castle.”
“As interesting as that sounds i’m going to be a slight skeptic to the power of friends. Nothing against you but “friends” have burned me before.”
“It’s fine, I thought it was stupid too.” Twilight said. Spike came back from the kitchen with lots of tea and handed it out.
“Now Leon, could you tell me you tale.” Celestia asked.
*Some Time Later*
“Wow, very interesting. So you came from a tribe. Could you tell me about them?”
“If you really want to know. We were a kind tribe. Small but close. But for me that all changed when i evolved out of my child form much sooner than the rest of the tribe. They thought i was a bad omen and most hated me. Even my own father chose to disavow me.”
“That's horrible. I’m glad to say my ponies would never do such a thing.”
“As nice is it to hear that the ponies here have been eyeing me as if i’m going to pounce them. But a spectrobe isn’t a meat eater but a gem eater.”Spike pouted when he heard this news.
“That’s perfect! Spike could share some of his gems.” Celesia pointed out, while gesturing towards Spike.
“And maybe i can help him find some as well? I’m not just this big for looks.”
“Sure, I could share what I got to start you off, but after that you’ll have to find some yourself. Like I do.” Spike answered
“Sure. I wonder how the krawl ended up here but if there are any more i need to keep my energy up.”
“After, we finish introducing ourselves we’ll eat and then we will go and dig up some.”
“I should learn more about my new home to. This is all so strange.”
“Well, while you and Spike go to dug up some then he can also show you around.” Luna said before putting on a serious tone. “I have a question about these krawl. You say that only you can do damage against them, but how can you be so sure?” Luna asked, while feeling useless
“because when other beings tried that lived alongside us they failed badly. Many died.”
“Were these beings Alicorn’s, very being capable of moving planet’s?” Luna asked
“Sister!” Celestia said trying to stop what luna was planning.
“No they weren’t. As i said magic is only a thing here on this planet. But they had weapons that could destroy the moon. But they didn’t even leave a dent.”
“Weapons that could destroy moon’s. HA, that’s just raw power for us.” Luna said proudly
“Luna Stop this now!” Celestia said falling to get through to her sister.
“uh that is just the weakest of their big weapons. If don't believe me though try to fight them.”
“If she doesn’t fight, I will!” A small drake said drawing everyone's attention. “ I’m tired of being left off to the side, and besides they couldn’t be too strong. Compared to what we’ve been though, I can take them!” Spike said proudly.
“You can take beings able to kill whole solar system!? Well it's your choice to try. And maybe just maybe, it will work. But don’t die you hear me.”
“You got It!” Spike said with a fist pump, while everybody gave him and luna a dirty look that said ‘Don’t you dare.’
High above the small town of ponyville a blue portal opened and a dark tornado seemed to fall out of it along with a blue light. The tornado seemed to fall from the sky and ram into the light and launched it to a large forest. The blue portal closed itself, while the tornado neared the town.
“The next teapot should be done by now.” Spike said walking back to the kitchen.
“What the?! More krawl!” leon roared in anger.
“You two stay here!” Celestia ordered whilegestering towards luna and Spike, who had just come back from the kitchen with a teapot.
Leon was the first to make it outside. The tornado was just sitting in the middle of town.
“So this is what the krawl are.”Celestia Thought out loud.
“Oh my, not again.” Fluttershy said holding a hoof over her mouth.
“Alright, Stand bac-” Leon was cut off by a green dragon and a dark blue alicorn dashing past him. Once Spike and Luna made it inside the tornado they were met with 2 small krawl. Luna and Spike looked at eachother and nodded. Spike ran towards the krawl, drawing their attention while Luna floated up in the air and was covered in a dark ball. Spike was using his claws and tried to cut some one of the krawl’s arm but whenever he hit them it made a scratching noise but left no mark. While Spike was focused on the first krawl, the other made it’s way around Spike and was about to slam Spike into the ground like a nail. But a bright beam of dark blue light hit the krawl in the side, drawing it attention. Everyone looked towards where the beam came from and saw a evil alicorn, Nightmare moon.
“MOVE!” The mare said to Spike. He rolled away from the krawl and Nightmare moon’s horn starts to lights up. One of the krawl seemed to follow Spike, and this didn’t go unnoticed by him.
“DO IT!” Spike said running straight towards her. She was confused but trusted the young drake and closed her eye’s. A huge beam erupted from her horn, Spike nearly rolled out of the way and the beam engulfed the 2 krawl, and caused a bright blinding light. After everyone could see again Nightmare moon opened her eyes and saw both krawl right in front of her, they looked Untouched. Her jaw dropped and they lifted their arms in unison, and brought in hammering down. Right before they hit Spike had jumped in the way causing the arms to slam into him and blew him back so hard into nightmare moon, it completely knocked her back into Luna. They both landed back in front of Leon. Spike was out cold and Luna could barely get up. Leon charged the krawl and took both of them out with one swift hit.
“We weakened them for you.” Luna said faintly before passing out herself.
“You did more damage than i expected but you still couldn't win. Leave it to me from now on.” Leon said to the unconscious two.
”I’ll make sure they’ll know.” Twilight said picking them up in her magic and taking them into her castle to heal them.
The next day leon woke to the sound of everyone else in a panic. “What is going on!?”
“Its Spike! He's Gone!” Twilight said in a panic.
“Gone!? Why?”
“I went to wake him up since he’s usually up before us. When I got to his room, his window was open and I found this note.” Twilight said showing him the note.
Dear Girls,
Ever since the battle yesterday, I just can’t help but realise how weak I am. So starting now I am going off to become stronger. Don’t worry, I will come back.

“I must go after him! Where would he likely go to train?”
“I have no idea where he would go. He’s never ‘trained’ before. The only place I can think of is here at the castle, the dragon lands, and Canterlot and he’s not at any of them! I sent a letter to Princess Ember and she says Spike’s not there, but she coming to help look. Spike would never go to canterlot, not unless Celestia’s there and we already checked the castle.”Twilight panicked.
“What about here?” leon pointed to a spot on a nearby map.
“The Badlands? No, There's nothing there. Spike may be a child but he his very smart.” Twilight said looking at the map.
“Darling, tell me you have any good new’s!?” Rarity said walking to twilight's side.
“I’m afraid not. We’re trying to think of where he would go.” Twilight answered.
“Why not here?” he said pointing to the nearby forest.
“That could make sense.” The more twilight thought about it, the more of a possibility it became of Spike going there. While Rarity just passed out.
“Oh, no.”
“Whats wrong? Why is that so bad?”
“The Everfree Forest Is a very dangerous place and it covers about 20% of equestria. But it makes way too much sense that he would go there.” Twilight answered
“He doesn't want anyone to interrupt but i could go and at least keep him safe.”
“No, you are the last one that should go. Like you pointed out yesterday, you’re the only one who can fight the krawl. I don’t want to admit it, but we can’t afford for anyone to go after him.”
Before he has the chance to nod leon feels something off. “This is weird but i think i’m not the only spectrobe on this planet.”
”What’s that supposed to mean?”
Deep in the everfree forest a small drake could be found running for his life from timberwolves. ‘I have to find a place to hide!’ Spike thought. He was currently running along the bottom of a cliff and was coming up to corner. Spike rounded the corner and saw a small cave and without much thought Spike dove in. The timberwolves just ran by the cave without looking. “That was close!” Spike breathed a sigh of relief. Once he got a good look at the cave he was in he noticed something. The cave he was in was a small room, but on the other side of the room was a small creature. It had a blue body with dozens of small white stripes all over it. It also had, what looked like, still lightning bolts coming from its head. Spike was fascinated by the creature, until he heard noise from outside.
“Crap! Their back.” Spike said just loud enough for the wolves to hear. Spike hid right beside the door as 3 wolves entered. They started to walk towards the small creature in the corner. The creature started to get up.
“Huh, where am I?” It said just as he looked towards the wolves. ”Ah! Get back!” he said falling backwards as the wolves began to jump onto him. But before they could land Spike kicked one in the side and like dominoes, they all fell over one after another.
“Come on let's get out of here!” Spike said holding out a claw for the young creature, while he accepted.
“Thank you, my name is Raayn.” Raayn said getting up.
“Nice to meet you, I’m Spike, now let's get out!” Spike said as they raced out of the cave followed by the wolves.
“This way!” Spike said as Raayn followed. Spike lead him deeper into the woods. They were dodging trees left, right and center. While Spike was running he saw a low hanging branch.
“Over there, run passed me!” Spike grabbed the low hanging branch and let Rayyan run passed him and Spike pulled back on the branch
*CRACK*
The sound echoed through the forest as Spike let the branch go hitting the wolves in the head. Spike continued running and caught up with Raayn who had stopped to watch what had happened.
“That was awesome!” But before Spike could thank him the wolves were back on there feet, running straight towards them.
“Let Go!” Spike said starting to run. Eventually they were almost out of breath. They had come face to face with a giant rock. On both side there was big trees and thick brush. This meant one thing they were cornered. The wolves had caught up and were now slowly approaching their prey.
“What do we do now!?” Raayn said in a panic.
“I don't know, were cornered.” Spike said in defeat. Raayn looked on in fear as certain doom approached.
“NO! I WON’T SURRENDER! NOT AGAIN!” Raayn screamed as he began to glow a bright light. It got to a point where no one could see. After a few seconds A much bigger creature came from the bright light. It had the body of a leopard, with long streaks on hair the shape of lightning bolts going all the way down his back. On both of his sides were huge pieces of armor that looked like huge blades. Spike could see spots under the armor where he saw flesh, so he knew that these blade weren't just for show. The only similarity was that the fur was still blue with white streaks all over its body.
The creature leaped towards the wolves and kicked the middle one,the wolf went flying into a tree and exploded into dozens of sticks. The creature then swung their massive blades around and diced the other wolves into sticks as well.
“Wow, what are you?” Spike asked in disbelief.
“I was a Ryza, but now I am a Rygazelle.” Raayn said walking towards Spike. “ might I ask what you are?”
“I’m a dragon.” Spike said proudly.
“Ok, what do we do now?” Raayn asked not knowing what to do.
“We need a good place to stay, how about we go back to that cave. That was a pretty good place to stay.”Spike suggested.
“That sounds like a good idea, how about on our way back you tell me how you got to that cave in the first place.”
*Some time later*
“Wow so you just left, just like that? Raayn asked.
“Yep, But I need to get stronger, so I had to leave.” Spike replied.
“I see, so this Leon fellow, you said he was brought to this world?”
“Yes, he was supposed to be a present to fluttershy.” Spike finished as they entered the cave. “Hey I have an idea! I’m out here to train why don’t you train with me. We will need all the help we can get when we fight the krawl.” Spike asked
“Sure, that sound awesome!” Raayn said excitedly. “It’s getting dark, we should get some rest.”
“That sounds like a good idea. I’ll take one side of the cave while you take the other. How’s that sound?” Spike suggested.
“Thats a good idea and Spike, thanks for saving me earlier.” Raayn said.
“Hey man, we're even. You saved me too.” Spike said laying down.
