> My Little Pony: The Movie, How it Should Have Ended > by G33kySt3v3 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Opening Tempest Scene > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The weird creature had just delivered his brief message of his origin. Apparently he and the ponies on board had come on behalf of The Storm King, and the commander of their army was meant to appear and deliver a quote on quote, evil message. I had to roll my eyes in exasperation at this. Seriously? A super powerful villain had to pick today to invade Equestria? I really did not need this while I was trying to plan my Friendship Festival, it was already proving to be difficult enough already. The Commander finally appeared out of the ship, said something threatening, I wasn't really paying attention, she looked more powerful than the guy whose poster they had just dropped, why was she taking orders from him? Though, I found it odd I had to do a double take to make that the villain I was facing was a unicorn, but it seemed that it was, she just had a broken horn, and scar across the right eye. She also seemed to be somehow taller than me. Come on alicornification! Can't you make me seem at least a little intimidating? Celestia checked to make sure she heard the Commander's name right, apparently it was Tempest, I seriously wasn't listening there, didn't care enough. I just wanted her to attack us so that I could attack her and prove that she was horribly outmatched. The next part I was listening to, because she said this. "Here's the deal ladies, I need your magic. Now hand it over or we make things difficult, for everyone." Come on Tempest, can't you keep up with the whole hand/hoof horse pun thing? It's not that hard. Luna decided to call her on her problem of there only being one of her and there being hundreds of ponies behind us. Now I was pretty sure Luna's argument was silly, more like nine of us, cause the only ponies here willing to fight, were my friends, Celestia, Cadance, herself, and I. everypony else was very likely to run and scream at the first hint of danger. Tempest said something again. Totally still not paying attention, can we move on already? I guess we can, whatever she said alerted two large figures behind her to step creepily out of the darkness. Suddenly, many other airships were flying through the air towards Canterlot, probably filled with the creatures that were behind Tempest now. Looks like I was right, as soon as the figures stepped out of the shadows, all of the ponies behind us princesses, besides my friends, started running in random directions and screaming. Commander Tempest was charging at us, she threw some kind of orb in the air, I guess that now was a good time to act, cause that thing was filled with anti magic stuff. I teleported her away from the device before she could react, then teleported to the location I had selected, right next her. It was inside Canterlot Castle, where there would be no ponies. I decided that as a benevolent alicorn princess, as well as the princess of friendship, I would talk to her before I incapacitated her. "So, I wasn't really listening to the whole quote on quote evil message thing, but I'm pretty sure either you or your boss has no idea what you're getting into. So before I completely and totally incapacitate you, I'll give you a chance to call off the attack and accept the inevitability of friendship into your life." Of course this didn't fly with her, she decided that she instead needed to try and attack me. She charged up her horn and aimed it at me, I disabled the magic, teleported behind her, and whacked her in the back of the head, and was holding her to the floor faster than she could think, where'd my magic go? "Alright evil Commander Tempest, I'm going to tell you something that you already knew. I'm the Princess of Friendship, now I don't know if you've heard, but friendship is magic. Do you know what that means?" It was kind of funny, in fact I almost chuckled at it, the way her eyes lit up in realization. "It seems you do, it means I'm also the Princess. Of. Magic. Which means unless you are a lot more skilled in magic than having a broken horn allows, you stood no chance from the moment you chose to be hostile with magic. I'm also an alicorn, which means I have so pretty intense Earth Pony bullshit going on inside my body, which means that your military strength training is also useless. Please tell me the part of this where this goes well for you." "It seems I have sorely underestimated my opponent." she said, and wow, I hope Cadance put this pony in her shipping files already. 'Cause with that voice, I surprised even myself that I didn't screw her right there, seriously I should hint at that or something later, right now I was a little preoccupied. "Though, I think I am prepared to surrender, I never really liked The Storm King anyhow. I just follow his orders because he says that once I'm finished he'll restore my horn to how it was." Oh my Celestia, that voice! I should get an award for self control at this point, it didn't help that she's also a very beautiful mare. "Oh, is that the only reason you're evil? No, probably not, looking at the scar on your face, it was probably formed at a young age, and if I had to guess, you lost your horn at the same time." Tempest was shocked, that was easy to tell, so all she did was nod in agreement. "Going off the information that I have, you probably had friends at some point, and the accident that caused you harm was somehow connected to them. When they stopped hanging out with you because you were a little crippled you decided that friendship is evil and that you should go it alone." It was obvious at this point that Tempest was baffled, how could the princess have know all that? "Wow, you'd think life would throw me some originality once in awhile. But nooo. It's either an evil from a 1000 years ago, or it's a unicorn that for some reason thinks friendship is a bad thing. First Trixie, who let me tell you was a unicorn I met a couple of weeks after I made my first friends. She got her ass handed to her by me when I proved that unlike her, I could take an Ursa Minor." Tempest's mood seemed to sour at that point, her horn even sparking in agitation. "Oh, I see, that's how you lost your horn, an Ursa Minor, I don't blame you, those things are tough, probably would've been in a situation similar to yours if I was a filly. But anyway, we're getting off topic. Trixie comes two years later with an amulet she thinks will prove she's stronger than me. Can you guess what happens?" "She get's proved wrong again by the power of friendship?" "She get's proved wrong by the power of friendship! Not even a month later Celestia give me these stupid things and says, You're a princess now, have fun! Well... Not exactly that, but close. Soon after that she sends me through a stupid dimensional mirror to chase after some other unicorn named Sunset, in the form of something that seemed kind of like a hairless chimpanzee. Soon, she is also proven that the magic of friendship is actually a force that can not be beaten, even when you're a raging she-demon. Her words not mine. Couple years later I run into another unicorn! This one is named Starlight and has created a town of cultists who all have the same cutie mark and act the same. After defeating her she vows revenge and runs away, months later she comes back and throws me in a weird time loop, soon she is also proven that friendship is the only way of life where I don't kick your ass. These unicorn, are all very similar to you, but guess what I did with all of them?" "Sent them to prison for their crimes against Equestria?" I smiled gently, "No, that would have been rude, they were just misguided, and everypony knows that if you put your villain in jail, they'll just break out and plot revenge. So instead, I befriended all of them, and forgave them of the things they did. Starlight even became my student, though I guess she graduated after proving herself more powerful against my only original villain's revenge plot. Seriously if I considered The Storm King to be one of my villains, he'd be the second villain I've faced, in my long line of villains, with an original origin. So, how would you like to be friends? I'm sure Starlight would love to have you around." "You know princess, after careful consideration, I'm pretty sure choosing to be your enemy only ends up bad for me. I'm sure I'll even grow to like being your friend." Now that did get me to laugh. "Good, because I'm sure my other friends have already defeated all those large creatures you brought with you. And you get to help me clean up the mess that they inevitably made, I do need to be ready for the Friendship Festival tonight still!" Tempest's eyes widened, and then she realized she had made a larger mistake than attacking the Equestrian capital all on her own. > Discord Actually Helps > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- We had just crawled out of the lake after our actually unsurvivable fall down one of the many waterfalls hanging below the city of Canterlot. I was kind of upset that Tempest had had something available that could so easily immobilize an alicorn, would've made my whole life easier if I hadn't needed to save Luna, and could've actually dealt with the threat. Well, there was no way I could deal with the threat my own way now, I was going to have to find help, from, what did Celestia say? The Hippo Queen? How Odd. After having a nice heart to heart with my friends, we decided it would be best to go on our way, and find help to save Equestria. We were just starting, and it seemed that Pinkie really wanted to play some I Spy. Though, most of us did not, judging by our groans of exasperation. Fluttershy quietly made her way up next to me, "Uh-Um Twilight?" "Yes, Fluttershy?" "Well I-I just thought that maybe instead of going on a long unnecessary adventure, that for convenience will probably start making you upset with us, you might consider asking Discord for help? I know you all don't like him very much, but he can be surprisingly helpful when he wants to be." My eyes widened in surprise, how had I not thought of that before? I mean, he wasn't right here waiting, but usually he just appeared when some one said his name or in a time when you were least likely to want him to be there. "Fluttershy! You're a genius! I don't know how I didn't think of that before. Good thing it's usually not hard to get him here. Why don't you do the honors Fluttershy?" "Oh, okay. Um, Discord? Could you please come here?" Suddenly the named Draconequus appeared in a flash of light, his arms and legs spread wide in a fantastical display. "You rang?" he asked, as he snapped his fingers and suddenly there was a door in front of him with a doorbell on it. The sound of doorbell sounding off behind it. I decided now was a time as good as any to ask for Discord's help. "Yes, Discord, yes we did. We were just on our way to save Equestria when we realized that you would be a much bigger help than any other friends we might find. Could you come with us to Canterlot and make everything conveniently easy for us to take back the capital?" "Well since you decided to ask so nicely! As well as remembering just how amazing I am! I would be honored!" And so our heroes didn't take several hours to find a solution to their problem, and instead were able to take back Equestria quite easily. They even had the Friendship Festival on time. > After Meeting the Seaponies > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- We had just gotten out of the water after I had tried to steal the Pearl of Transformation and I was kind of upset. Not only had I accidentally tripped a security spell that I should have seen, I also got trapped in a very compromising position. Have you seen Queen Novo? That lady is crazy, guess I can see where her daughter get's her personality. I was scared she would have taken me right then and there! Anyway... can't wait for ponies to somehow find out about that, and have hentai written about me before I can say Princess of Friendship. Understandably, I was a little upset. Then my friends started yelling at me because somehow Pinkie had been able to convince Queen Novo to help us or something. "Maybe I would be better off without friends like you!" Oops, I hadn't meant to say that... Seriously, I didn't even know saying that could make my horn hurt like it does right now. What happened, did I get hit by a stagecoach? Couldn't worry about that friend to console. "Pinkie, I didn't mean th-" "I just can't talk to you right now Twilight." Now I really felt bad, especially when they started walking away in that kind of manner that somehow reminded me of my brother's wedding. Like Shining Armor had just said I was full of shit again, as well as Celestia agreeing with him just like that. "Now come on guys, don't be like that? What if Tempest finds us and captures me? Will you even worry? Or will you be like how you were at my brother's wedding and just assume everything is fine?" Rarity decided now to speak up, "How dare you compare now to that time Twilight! We just need some time away to think about everything! No need to be so rude!" Alright, whatever they didn't care that's fine. I'll just sit down and cry like I did at my brother's wedding when everyone didn't believe me, then Tempest will show up and be like. Hah, all your friends left you. And will be pretty much the same thing as when Chrysalis caught me, there might even be a song right before I escape, sung by the only other pony with me... Oh well, I guess I'll go do that sulking thing now. Hey! Spike followed me this time, I'm not completely alone like last time, maybe it will be different. Though, now sitting upon this rock, I could only think of one thing. "Hey Spike?" "Yeah, Twilight?" "You know that movie in the human world? Madagascar?" "Yeah? But what's that got to do with anything?" "Well I was just thinking, we got stranded on a beach, in the middle of a deserted island, no idea how to get home, and got separated over a disagreement. I kind feel like Alex the lion right now-" "And all our friends are Marty!" Spike finished for me. "That's kind of weird Twili-" I turned to look why he had stopped talking "Spike?" and he was being manhandled by one of the giant creatures Tempest always had following her... I tried to fire some magic at them. And I was in a cage now... I don't think I cared enough to yell anything, I had been right after all. I especially didn't care since it seemed that Spike's flame was effective against the creature, he would warn my friends. I reached the peak of my ascent, in some room which I could only describe as a Star Wars looking kind of thing. I had already proved to myself that magic didn't work, why try again? Then Tempest walked down the steps in the room like some kind of Kylo Ren wannabe, we get it... Your the bad guy, why does my life always seem like one of those movies from the human world made by that company called Disney? This much excitement must have been bad for me in some way. I tried to seem like I cared about the situation enough, "Why are you doing this? You're a pony, just like me." She smashed her head against the cage, and said something insulting, then some random orchestra started up from an unknown origin. I bet anyone who hears about my life somehow can guess what happened next. She started singing... All I could do was just shout out, and interrupt her. "I BUCKING KNEW IT!" > Ending Scene > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I can't believe I was sitting in this cage willingly. It's funny, I and the other princesses let all the stuff that happened, happen. Why and how you might ask? Well, how is pretty simple to explain, as pseudo-goddesses it's pretty easy for us to just disregard everything mortals can come up with and then act like they were never there, so if we had really wanted to, we could have just ended this before it started. But another thing we really enjoy? Making the mortals of this world feel special, like they did good, even the ones that wish us harm, we wouldn't want to discourage others from attacking us, that would make life boring. And that leads to the why, if you can disregard all the challenges life throws at you, it gets boring, so we sometimes act like we couldn't have made the situation awful for mortals and find a mortals' way of solving the situation. But seriously, this Storm King guy was pissing me off, could he just stop interrupting Tempest so we could get on with our days? Soon, they were done talking, and it happened. The Storm King went to jam his staff in the hole in the middle of the floor, and since I already knew how this worked... I quickly put myself into a hover just above the floor of the cage, it provided just enough room to do that, thanks Tempest. Dramatic light show, Storm King looks pleased with himself, and Tempest looks surprised and overjoyed to finally have a chance at getting her horn back, all according to plan. Then all the lights quickly faded back to where they came from. Oops, guess me not touching the spell circle messed something up... They quickly realized something had failed and looked to me. "Yeah... Sorry, kind of done the whole magic stealing thing with a thousand year old centaur before. Can I just say, not a fan, really not the best feeling in the world." I quickly dismantled the cages magic dispelling effects, and blasted the cage open. "Also, I've kind of just been acting the whole time, wanted to add some excitement to the mortals' life as Celestia would say. Tempest was the first to react, in about the manner you can expect from some one who just realized they're not as cool as they thought they were. "Whaa?" "Yeah, yeah, act surprised, maybe tell me I'm bluffing, and this is all just an illusion I'm somehow distracting you with. But it's real, I could have defeated you at anytime. I'll be taking this, don't want that crazy stick in your claws anymore." I snatched the Staff of Sacanas from The Storm King's claws, to which he immediately reacted. He jumped forward and slashed his claws at me, in quite a show of speed too. "The staff is mine!" I just phased out of the spot I was in, then quickly back in, after he had flown farther then he expected to without hitting something. "Yeah... No, and since I'm pretty sure the plan was to outright kill you..." I stabbed the staff through his head, until only the gem in the top was sticking out, then I teleported his body somewhere in Tarturus. Could've been a lava pit, could've been somewhere his body would just lay and decay for a bit, I didn't really care. "That's no fun, thousand year old revenge plots are the best! But Celestia said, Twilight, I need you to shatter this guy like you did Sombra, and I was like, alright Celestia, sounds good to me. Guess I didn't do it quite right, but oh well... Anywho, you should stop inching slowly away in hopes that I keep talking to myself, and not notice you. You're not off the hook yet." Tempest froze, and after seeing some of the darker things I did, I couldn't blame her for looking so scared. "What are you looking at? Do I have something on my face? Oh that reminds me! You've got something on the top of your head that needs fixing! Let me just do some Goddess of Magic bullshittery!" After carefully examining the diameter of the base of her horn, I healed the horn to what it should look like, soon I even added the magical foci it needed to function properly, and the nerves to make sure it's other purposes could be served. "Ta-da! All fixed up, it should work just like new again!" She stared up at her horn, and apparently the only reaction she could make was a gasp that the mixed emotions of, surprise, horror, joy, and astonishment. Then she quickly looked back down at me like I was some animal she treated improperly and had just escaped to get revenge. "Why do you still seem so afraid of me? Ooh, that's right! You just watched me kill some one like it was nothing! Well let me tell you, that's not what I had planned for you, and killing really isn't fun, I prefer to avoid it if I can. No, Celestia distinctly said, Twilight, while I want you to utterly demolish The Storm King, please spare the commander, reformation tactics only. Soo... The plan is reformation, which starts now!" I quickly dispelled the obsidian prisons around the other princesses, and gave them a dramatic group hug. "Thank the stars Twilight, I thought you might never save us from our prisons and we may have to deal with the situation itself! You are known to humor the mortals a little too much!" Luna said, and it seemed that Tempest was still frozen to the spot she stood, like one of the obsidian statues previously in the room. "In my defense, this one," she pointed to Tempest, "Is a lot of fun to play with, she's so confident all the time. It's a testament to my self control that I didn't just teleport her and I to a private location and just screw her right then and there!" "Ah yes, The Storm King's commander I asked you to spare, and since I don't see him, himself, I assume you took care of the issue he caused?" Celestia asked. "Yeah, yeah, I got rid of him. I even dumped the remains somewhere in Tarturus, don't remember where... Couldn't really be asked to care at that moment. Ah, but we're talking too long! I'll just take Tempest, have her make up for the crimes she committed by having her help me clean up Canterlot for my Friendship Festival tomorrow, and then I'll show her some of the benefits that come with being in a relationship with the Goddess of Magic! See you all tomorrow!"
