Chapter 1
"Knock! Knock!" Somepony was knocking at Twilight's door at this late? Spike tiredly walked towards the door and open it. There was no pony at the door. Spike looked around to see if there was anypony around and saw a pony with a black hoodie covering her appearance running away. Spike decided to chase after the mysterious pony but fell on a strange package. By the time he stood up, the pony was gone. He took the package and went back inside the library. Twilight was at her study table reading a book and asked Spike who was at the door. She turned around and saw him holding the package. She uses her magic and levitate it towards her. "To Twilight Sparkle" She reads opening the package to find a small notebook. The notebook was old and dusty while the writing on most if the pages were gone. As she open the notebook, she discover that the notebook was about a unicorn trying to create a spell that can open a portal to different types of realities but it was incomplete. Many hours past and Twilight and Spike fell asleep from reading what was inside the notebook.
The next day, Twilight woke up realizing that she has drools all over the page. She woke up Spike and they walked towards SugarCube Corner for their morning breadfast with her friends. Pinkie, who live above SugarCube Corner was busy making pancakes that she did'nt notice Twilight and Spike walked in. "Over here Twi!" Applejack called as Fluttershy,Rarity and Rainbow Dash waved them over. Twilight, who was still engrossed in the notebook,took the notebook out from her bag that Rarity made for her birthday and continue reading it. "Whatcha reading there? A dusty old notebook? Where did you get that Twilight?" As Rainbow Dash started blurting out questions that Twilight annoyingly ignored. A few minutes later, Pinkie walked out of the kitchen with freshly made pancakes and sat down beside Fluttershy. After the six ponies and Spike globbled down the pancakes, Twilight and Spike starts answering questions from the rest of the five ponies.
Twilight and Spike went back to the library and Twilight starts to figure out why the pony left the package and completing the spell. It was hard but a few weeks has past and she finally figure the spell out. She decided to call her friends to see the action to what she's about to show.
Twilight and her friends met up outside Fluttershy's cottage and they travel to the Everfree Forest so that they won't be seen. Once they made sure they were alone, Twilight explain how the spell work and what it will do. Twilight uses a chalk and draw a circle with strange wordings and begin to start the spell. Her horn lit up and shine it towards the circle. The circle started to glow really bright and a portal opened up causing a huge explosion that could be seen from Ponyville. "Twilight, darling? Are you sure the spell you just cast was supposed to do that?" Rarity,trying to keep her mane from getting ruin, shouted. " I'm not sure,Rarity! But if this is happening, it means the spell worked right?" Twilight replied. Once the explosion stopped, Rainbow Dash walked towards the portal to see what was inside it. A strong force of wind came out of the portal and started to pull Rainbow Dash in. Applejack, Pinkie, Fluttershy, Twilight, Rarity and Spike rushed in and grabbed each other tails but the force was so strong that even the seven of them couldn't escape it. The portal sucked them in and closed.
The seven of them fell into the ground but found themselves outside of the Everfree Forest. Strange creatures surrounds them and Fluttershy was so excited that she began talking to some of them. Rainbow Dash flew up to the sky to figure out where they were while Rarity was fixing her mane which was full of leaves and branches from the surrounding trees. Twilight was reading the notebook over and over again trying to figure out how to go back to Ponyville. Pinkie, Applejack and Spike? Well they were gathering wood to camp for the night as it was getting late.
Surprising enough, Rainbow Dash found a city and Fluttershy was able to get some information about their world. Apparently the creatures are call Pokemons and there are lots and lots of different types of them! They also explained that human catches them in some sort of ball and train them to fight each other which Fluttershy felt bad for them and determined to free those who was already captured. They spend a night in the forest and decided to head towards the city to ask for more information. Twilight was too excited to sleep that she started to take notes on a notebook she brought.
The sun started to rise as they woke up with an empty stomach and walked towards the city. "Yesterday, Fluttershy said that humans catches the creatures called Pokemons but whats a human?" Rarity asked curiously. "I'm glad you asked Rarity! I heard somewhere that human walked on two hoof and have hoofs that they call hands to hold stuff. They are also very cute...?" Twilight replied.
They finally arrived at the city and they saw lots of humans walking around. Twilight was holding a pen and her notebook rushing towards a boy with a red hat having six pokeballs on his belt. "Hi! I'm Twilight Sparkle! Wow! You're interesting for a human!" Twilight introduced herself writing what out the appearance of him. The boy, took a strange object out of his bag and said: "Cool! New Pokemons! Let's see what type you are!"
"Twilight Sparkle! Twilight Sparkle is a fire type pokemon. Its sometimes known as the "Lone Bookworm", it is not known for her social interactions." The strange object spoke. "Hey! I'm not a lone bookworm! And where did you get that information, strange object?" Twilight commended. As the boy ignored her, he threw a pokeball on her and it succeeded on the first try. Rainbow Dash,Fluttershy,Rarity,Pinkie, Applejack and Spike rush in to help Twilight but was also caught by the pokeballs except Spike as the boy ran out of pokeballs. Poor Spike!
Spike was offended that he was always the one who gets left out but got over it quickly as he is determined to save his friends and get back home. He followed the boy and learned that the boy's name is Red. Spike follow him to a gym and saw another woman challenge Red to a pokemon battle. Red open a pokeball and Fluttershy appeared out of it while the woman open hers and a water type pokemon appeared. Spike saw that Fluttershy was so scared that she could'nt move. Red ordered Fluttershy to use a move called 'Hoof Stomp' and she was forced to obey. Fluttershy was crying and apologizing to the water pokemon for hurting him. Soon, it was the woman's turn, she ordered her pokemon to use a move called 'Bubble Beam'. It hurt Fluttershy really badly that she fainted. Soon, Red did the same to the rest of the ponies and Spike saw him scurry to the hospital and heal them.
"How am I going to save my friends from...from that human?" Spike started to cry as he hid at an allyway beside where Red is spending the night. Meanwhile, the main six were spending the night outside the pokeball and they were discussing about how they are going to escape. "Ohhh! Ohhh! I know! Why don't we break the fourth wall and go back to the channel we are in? Oh wait. Nevermind, I forgot you guys can't do that!" Pinkie giggled. Everypony looked at Pinkie confused. Twilight immediately let what Pinkie said slide as she tries to think of a plan. "Spike wasn't captured right? Maybe he could help us! From what I know, in this world humans can trade Pokemons. If Spike becomes a Pokemon trainer, he can capture some rare Pokemons and trade us for it!" Twilight suggested. Everypony agreed with the plan except Rainbow Dash. "Thats a great plan Twi! But how is Spike going to do that? They will suspect that he is a dragon and try to capture him too!" Rainbow Dash explained. "I will send spike a letter and i will cast a spell on this food here that will turn him to look like a human for a week!" Twilight reply with a smile.
As Spike was trying to get some sleep, he burbed out a letter and some poketreats. He read the letter and did what he was told. He ate the poketreats and had a strange feeling and he looked down realizing that he grew taller, he screamed. "Ok, ok! Deep breath Spike, deep breath. So you are a human now, big deal! Luckily for me, it only last a week!" Spike mumbled to himself. He went to the store and grabbed some pokeballs to catch the Pokemons. After that, he went to the forest to catch some Pokemons. A few hours passed and he all he caught was a pidgy, a rattata and a weedle which was all uncommon. During that time, he started to level up his pokemons too causing all his Pokemons to be level thirty.
Five days has passed and he coulded find a Pokemon that is worthy to trade for his friends. When he was about to give up, he saw a strange bird with warm color feathers flew passed him. Spike started to chase the bird and found himself in a small cave. He walked towards the bird and immediately found himself in a Pokemon battle. He throw a pokeball causing a Arcanine to appear. Arcanine is a fire type pokemon. He commended Arcanine to weaken the bird and immediately threw pokeballs at it hoping that he caught it. After a few tries, he successful caught the Ho-oh(the name of the bird).
Spike went back towards the gym and found Red attempting to win the battle. Spike waited for him to finished the battle and offer Red a trade. Red uses his pokedex and discover that Ho-oh is a lengendary pokemon. He immediately accepted the trade for six of his pokemons. Spike quickly grab the pokeballs containing his friends and went to the ally. He freed his friends and asked how are they going to go home. "During the last few days, I have been trying to make the spell teleport us back to Pomyville. I'm almost done completing the spell! I just need a least a day or two." Twilight explained. "Great! How are we going to continue our lives in these pokeball?" Rainbow Dash grumbled.
It took Twilight really long to finished the spell but it was worth it as they were able to go back home. "Oh, I hope the animals are doing fine without me" Fluttershy said worriedly. "Don't worry,Fluttershy! I'm sure they are fine" Pinkie, trying to cheer her up. Twilight drew the same circle and cast a different spell. Her horn causes a huge beam of light that everypony(um...Everybody) noticed and rushed to see what the commotion was but by the time they arrived, the six ponies and dragon were already gone. The humans there went back to their usual routine and immediately forgot what had happened.
Back in the Everfree Forest, The six ponies and dragon fell to the ground and bummed their heads. They looked around hoping its the Everfree Forest that they are in. Luckily for them, they have two pegasus to help scout the area. "I can see Ponyville from here! It means we are back home!" Rainbow Dash cheered. The six ponies and dragon went back home to take a break while Twilight could'nt wait to tell Princess Celestia about their adventure. Twilight was so focused on writing the letter that she did'nt notice the old notebook slowly vanished into thin air. They also completely forgot about the pony who left that package and live their normal life peacefully.
