A guy finds a living piece of technology, and starts to model others after it. But the government is trying to do the same thing with war machines

One day after school, Raw Data finds what appears to be a cracked and broken odd looking phone. It's not a phone. It was the first designed bio-mechanic system, and she needs help. Raw Data does help her, and in the process makes more like her. However, the government is constantly searching for the phone housing the bio-mech, but what they're trying to model after her are war machines. Dangerous war machines, capable of wielding weapons of mass destruction, and no one wants that.

First encounter

Raw Data had found something awesome. He just didn't know it yet. As he was walking away from school on the first week of school, something shone in his face. He looked around and noticed a cracked and terrible damaged phone lying on the ground, next to the sidewalk, slightly covered in dirt, but still reflecting sunlight. He walked over to it and picked it up, his metallic black fingers gripping the sides, and his electric blue eyes sizing it up. A slight breeze blew his silver, almost wire looking hair.

Looks fairly advanced, Raw Data thought. I wonder who dropped it? He glanced around, looking for anyone who may have dropped it. He was the only person there. I guess I'll go fix it and then who it belongs too. He placed it carefully into his backpack and continued to walk home. Once he got home, he opened his backpack and pulled out the phone, and then threw the backpack onto a couch. He opened up the basement door and turned on the lights. They flickered on, and he put the phone on a work bench.

Let's see what's inside of you, he thought as he pulled the casing off. Steam puffed out, and Raw Data stared in surprise. Some of the wires looked like they hade been slow roasted, while others looked like they had been frozen recently.

"What happened to you?" Raw Data muttered softly. He pulled a drawer open and pulled out some wires. "Let's see what I can fix." He started pulling out the damaged wires and examined what else was there. The motherboard is intact, the other wires are still good. All I need to replace are the bad wires and glass then. And he set to work, replacing the bad wires with unused ones, and got out a new set of glass for the screen, replacing the cracked one when he had sized the new piece to fit the phone.

Well, now that you're fixed, all I need to do is charge you, Raw Data thought. Where's dad's old wireless charger? A bit of searching later, and he had found it. He plugged the charger in and put the phone on the charger. It still needed to be on the charger to charge, even though it was wireless.

Now I wait, Raw Data thought. I'm going to go watch tv.

A few hours later, Raw Data had just finished with dinner when the lights flickered. He stared at the lights. They didn't flicker again.

I should check on the phone, Raw Data thought. He wakes towards the basement door and opened it. He flicked the light switch, but nothing happened, until he noticed a soft glow.

I'm going to get a flashlight, Raw Data thought. And then I figure out what that glowing is. A few minutes later, Raw Data was slowly walking down the stairs, shining the flashlight at the ground so he wouldn't step on any blades. Once he got to the ground, and looked around the room for the glow, but it had vanished. He aimed the flashlight around the room to see a possible source, but the only thing he could see that could possible do it was the phone. Raw Data walked over to it and picked it up, pressing the on button. The phone vibrated and the screen lit up. Raw Data jumped a little in surprise. The screen saver showed a full body shot of a beautiful light pink skinned, sea blue haired naked woman. Raw Data blushed as he pressed on the safari app.

No favorites, not history, it's like this guy never used the internet! Raw Data thought. He exited to the home screen and gasped. Now the screen saver was just the girls face.

Must be on a timer, Raw Data thought. Until the girl started to move and spoke.

"Who are you?" she asked. "Are you the one who repaired this thing?" Raw Data froze for a few seconds until he yelled in panic and dropped the phone.

"OW!" the girl exclaimed. "Don't break me! I was just fixed!" Raw Data stared at the phone, its screen pointed upwards, the girl looking straight at him. Raw Data started inching towards the phone.

"I'm not going to bite," the girl said. "Come on, pick me up."

"What are you?" Raw Data asked. The girl glared at him.

"Who," she said. "Who am I. I am the first successful experiment in a new line of studies. I'm living, but synthetic." Somewhere in the distance they were able to (somehow) able to hear someone yell "Ha! She said the title!"

"What do you mean, living?" Raw Data asked. "You're in a phone!"

"Yeah, that's where the science behind it gets complicated," the girl said. "I have a body, or had, really, and am able to travel into anything electronic, kind of like astral projecting, but more complete."

"What do you mean by had?" Raw Data asked.

"It got killed," the girl said. "The military is a bitch. But, fortunately, the scientists who developed this ability gave us the knowledge to do something if something like this ever happened. So I hid in this phone, but then something happened, and it broke." Raw Data nodded and frowned.

"I have so many questions," he said. "But who are you?"

"My name is Ultrabyte," the girl said. "And you are?"

"Raw Data," Raw Data said.

"Ok, next question," Ultrabyte said.

"What was this knowledge?" Raw Data asked. Ultrabyte frowned slightly.

"How to create a new body," she said. Raw Data gasped and was about to ask about that when Ultrabyte continued to say "There are three ways to do it, and none of them are particularly nice."

"What are they?" Raw Data asked. Ultrabyte blushed and shook her head.

"I'd rather not say," she said. "But for now, I need help."

"Ok, what do you need?" Raw Data asked.

"First of all, how active are your parents in your life?" Ultrabyte asked. Raw Data lowered his head.

"Not at all," he said. "Both of them are dead."

"Aww, ok, I am sorry about that," Ultrabyte said. "But more importantly, you're smart, right?" Raw Data nodded.

"Very smart," he said. Ultrabyte smiled.

"Then I need you to make something," she said. "And it's really advanced."

An organic repurpasing machine?

View Online

Raw Data nodded.

"What do you need me to make?" he asked.

"You will be making something that will repurpose organic matter," Ultrabyte said. "Don't worry, I'll be showing you the blueprints and information to build it."

"Ok, but before that, I need you to tell me more about how you came to be in this phone," Raw Data said. "You mentioned the military?" Ultrabyte nodded.

"Yeah. They heard about these experiments, and decided that they were perfect for creating war machines," she said. "And because I was the only successful experiment, they tried to take me and use me for war. Fortunately, I got away, but now I'm trapped in here."

"Wow," Raw Data said. "Good thing I found you then." Suddenly, a thought came to his mind. "Wait, what if the military finds you?" Ultrabyte shook her head and grinned.

"Oh, they won't," she said. "Now, also, thanks for not using a charging cord." As she finished saying that, she started to blush.

"Um, ok, you're welcome," Raw Data said. "Uh, why are you thanking me for that?" Ultrabyte's blush deepened.

"It's because the charging hole is like another one of my....holes," she said.

"What?" Raw Data asked, confused as to what she was talking about.

"You know, my....thing," she said.

"What thing?" Raw Data asked.

"Did you ever have 'The Talk' with your parents?" Ultrabyte asked.

"The sex talk?" Raw Data asked. When Ultrabyte nodded, Raw Data answered "No, I never got it." Ultrabyte snickered.

"Well then, I guess I'll need to tell you about that later, but for now, just don't use a charging cord," she said. "Oh, and also don't press the on button or volume buttons, please."

"Let me guess, those connect to other parts of your body that you don't want me to touch?" Raw Data asked. He heard a snap from the speaker followed by "Spot on."

"So, other than that, what else should I know about?" Raw Data asked.

"Try not to drop me," Ultrabyte said. "I don't really have any other...sensitive areas."

"Ok, good. Now that we got that over with, I still have a few questions," Raw Data asked.

"Ask away," Ultrabyte said.

"How does it feel it be inside a phone?" Raw Data asked.

"Well, it's a lot different than what you're feeling," Ultrabyte said. "Besides from having physical feeling, it's kind of like floating. You're able to access tons of information at any given moment, and you can put yourself into a video, and someone's point of view." Raw Data stared at Ultrabyte in awe.

"Awesome!" he said. "Now, this matter converting machine thing, how does it work?"

"Well, the name is kinda self explanatory," Ultrabyte said. "It converts organic matter into other organic matter, and that is how we will remake my body."

"Are you sure this'll work?" Raw Data asked. Ultrabyte's head bobbed up and down.

"I've gone over the formulas and it should perfectly recreate my body," she said. "As long as the machine has been built properly, anyway."

"And what then?" Raw Data asked. "What will happen after that?" Ultrabyte paused for a few seconds.

"Lets cross that bridge when we get to it," she said. "Now, it's Friday afternoon. "You could finish, like, half the machine if you have all the right stuff close by." Raw Data grinned.

Well, mom and dad always said that I needed to do something important, he thought. Who knows who this could help? Besides from Ultrabyte, anyway.

"Well then, show me the schematics," Raw Data said. As the screen turned blue, Raw Data hummed in delight.

"By that sound, I'm guessing you have most of these materials?" Ultrabyte asked.

"Yes, and the ones that I don't have are easy to get," Raw Data said. "Well, it looks like I have a lot of work to do."

Inventing and building

For the next two days Raw Data built and programed a machine exactly to Ultrabyte's blueprints. However, on Sunday night, Ultrabyte started talking about another machine he needed to make.

"Don't worry, it's small and fairly easy to make," Ultrabyte was saying. "We need this in case someone managed to track me here."

"That would be bad," Raw Data said. He had just finished eat a pizza slice, and was looking at the bottom half of the screen, which showed blueprints for two identical earpieces and glasses. The top half of the phone contained Ultrabyte's face.

"Yes, yes it would," Ultrabyte said. "Plus, I could transfer myself into them, so I could hear what you hear, and see what you see."

"That would be pretty cool," Raw Data said. "Plus, this stuff is pretty simple. I could finish this within, like, an hour or two."

"That's good. I can spend the night getting into them," Ultrabyte said. She had spent time explaining to Raw Data that she could transfer herself into other electronics, but the first time was always the longest and hardest.

"You won't need to close up on your head, will you?" Raw Data asked. That was another small issue that existed for Ultrabyte. Only organic matter could enter electronics, and because clothes weren't organic, she was always completely naked. And because of that, she had to keep the home screen picture zoomed in on her face. Not that Raw Data would've complained. But it was a still an issue, because she was getting cramped, always doing it. Ultrabyte lightly blushed and shook her head.

"Fortunately, no," she said. "Plus, after I get in the glasses, you won't need to charge the phone with the wireless charger." Raw Data nodded.

"Yeah, you still need to explain about that," he said. Ultrabyte groaned and her blush returned.

"I will, I will," she said. "But not right now. How old are you?"

"16," Raw Data said. "Despite that and me going to a public school, I am probably the most sexually clueless person you will ever meet."

"You could say that again," Ultrabyte said. "Doesn't your school have sex ed?"

"Yeah, but first of all, you need parents to sign it, and second of all, I just wasn't very interested in it," Raw Data said. Ultrabyte looked impressed.

"Wow. What about your hormones?" Ultrabyte asked.

"Eh, their pretty much useless," Raw Data said. "Honestly, I don't think that I'll ever get a date, but I don't care."

"Wow. Most guys are filled with them, but you're pretty docile," Ultrabyte said. "You haven't tried zooming out on the home screen or anything." Raw Data snickered.

"Yeah, I think the reason why my hormones are so docile is because all the blood that would go to a boner instead goes to my brain," he said. Ultrabyte snorted and laughed.

"That's funny," she said. "Don't worry, I'm sure that you'll get a girlfriend. Or boyfriend, I don't judge. You're pretty good looking."

"Ah, don't worry, I'm straight," Raw Data said with a blush. "You think I look good?" Ultrabyte paused for ten seconds before saying "That's not important. Anyway, can you start on the glasses and earpieces?"

"Yeah," Raw Data said. Then he paused, remembering something that Ultrabyte had just said. "Wait, did you say that I could zoom you back out?" Ultrabyte blushed.

"No," she said slowly.

"You said that I could. I'm not going to, but I could?" Raw Data asked with a mischievous grin. Ultrabyte groaned.

"Fine! Yes, you can," she said. "At least you haven't-I mean, nothing."

"Wait, what haven't I done?" Raw Data asked.

"Nothing," Ultrabyte said. "It's not important right now." Raw Data shrugged.

"Ok," he said. "But it will be important later, right?" Ultrabyte groaned again.

"Yes, fine, I will tell you later," she said. "But right now it's not important."

Meanwhile, several thousand miles away, in an underground experimenting facility, several military generals and scientists were hiding in a building. The entire facility was big enough to hold several cities in them and still have room left over. But that would be if it was safe. And right now it wasn't safe at all. Several mechanical beasts were wandering through the multiple caverns that made up the facility. But back to the scientists and generals. They were all arguing and trying to get the metal monstrosities back under their control. One of them, the highest ranking officer, slammed his hands down on the table, rattling some of the miscellaneous items on the table, and stared daggers at the lead scientist.

"Why isn't it working?!" the lead general yelled. The lead scientist was shaking in fear.

"Well, it's because of a rather simple reason, really," he said nervously.

"What is it?" the lead general yelled, not quite as loud as before, but still loud.

"Well, when your soldier shot her, she started bleeding out before she got into whatever she got into," the scientist said. "And the bullet just so happened to hit the tracker that was in her. Besides, she forced her conciseness into whatever, not her body."

"I thought she always casted her body into the electronic, not just her spirit!" The general roared.

"Sometimes, sometimes," the scientist said. "But either way, even if she hadn't abandoned her body, your soldier had destroyed the tracker." The general rubbed his temples.

"How the hell are we going to get her back then?" he managed to ask at a normal volume.

"I don't know," the scientist said. "If we knew what device she had gotten into, then maybe we could find her signature." One of the other generals raised his hand.

"I say her touch some of those phones before she collapsed," he said. The lead general exhaled with great force.

"And why didn't you say this earlier, private?" he asked, trying not to yell.

"It didn't come up," the private responded. One of the scientists shook his head.

"It doesn't matter anyway," he said. "Those phones were incredible faulty, and were sent out to be destroyed."

"So she could still be in here?" the lead general asked. The lead scientist shrugged.

"I doubt it, but it is possible," he said. "We haven't been able to scan any of those machines outside, so it's impossible to tell."

"You think she could be in one of the deathbringers?" the lead general asked. "She hates those!" The lead scientist nodded.

"Yes, I know it's ironic," he said. "But maybe, just maybe, in an attempt to not have to kill anyone, she's willing to kill us."

"That is extremely ironic," the lead general said. "But could she be doing this?" The lead scientist shrugged.

"At the moment, it's impossible to tell, but if she's not, then we need to get out of here!"

Ultrabyte's first day of school

View Online

The next morning Raw Data woke up as his alarm went off. As he rubbed the sleep out of his eyes and put some clothes on, he thought about the earpieces and glasses.

Has Ultrabyte gotten into them yet? he thought as he started walking down the stairs and towards the kitchen. He put some pancakes into the microwave and left them in there while the heated up and went to the basement. He picked up the right earpiece and put it in his ear, the speaker that Ultrabyte would be talking through nestled comfortable in his ear and the thing holding it in his ear looking like a shield, and basically covering the rest of his ear filtering in noise from other people and objects. As he slid it on, he heard Ultrabyte say "Finally, you're awake!" Raw Data grinned.

"So you managed to get into here," he said.

"And the glasses," Ultrabyte said. "So, do you have an excuse for when someone sees these?"

"Several. It's to see if it can translate different languages into your native tongue and the glasses for subtitles," Raw Data said. "Or it's for deaf people and can make them hear."

"But you aren't deaf," Ultrabyte said.

"Yeah, that's one of the problems with that one," Raw Data said. "The final excuse is that it can track heat signatures, can enter night vision, can pick up conversations from what is normally out of range, and can find anything wrong with sound or sight." He heard Ultrabyte snap her fingers.

"You know, we could actually program those into these," she said. Raw Data grinned.

"So it wouldn't technically be lying," he said.

"Exactly," Ultrabyte said. "Now can you put on the glasses and other earpiece? You have something in the microwave waiting for you." Raw Data grinned as he picked up the other earpiece, sliding it onto his ear with ease, and grabbed the glasses. It looked like a normal pair of glasses, but the frames stopped midway down the glass, and said frames were silver, matching his hair. For a moment, it seemed like the reflection in the glass was Ultrabyte's pink skin and deep purple eyes.

"Now I can see and hear what you do," Ultrabyte said. "You may occasionally see more of what just happened, my eyes covering the glass for a second, and that's ok. Nothing bad is happening." Raw Data nodded as he felt along the sides of the glasses.

"That's good," he said. "Hey, what does this button do?" Ultrabyte let out a small squeak.

"No, don't press that!" she exclaimed. Raw Data flinched. "Oh, sorry. But don't touch that. Wait, do you remember the programing for that button?"

"It was similar to that of a projectors coding," Raw Data responded. "Is it actually like a projector?"

"It projects a hologram of me," Ultrabyte said. "So please don't press it, especially not during school. Now, on to breakfast, and then school!"

An hour and a half later, Raw Data entered his first class.

Hmm, Cheerilee, Ultrabyte said. She has a history of using anti-depressants. Raw Data frowned.

"How do you know that?" he muttered as he sat down at the back of the class.

Yeah, a benefit of being in these glasses is that I'm able to see records of them, Ultrabyte said. I only really skim through the important records. You know, criminal records, mental records, and medical records. Raw Data put his hand over his mouth and leaned on his elbows on his desk to make sure no one saw him talking.

"And you can access all this information just by looking at them?" Raw Data asked.

Yes. And yes, that includes you, Ultrabyte said. And there was no skimming. I'm sorry about your parents. Raw Data's heart sank at the mention of his parents, but he quickly returned his focus to Ultrabyte.

"It's ok, but it's handy having that ability," Raw Data muttered. "Does Cheerilee have a criminal record?" Ultrabyte started to talk when Cheerilee started teaching. Ultrabyte stayed silent except for the occasional correction to what Cheerilee was saying. Until lunch. Ultrabyte started talking about some of the other students records, until she saw Sunset Shimmer while Raw Data was walking towards an empty table.

That girl has such an interesting past, Ultrabyte said.Where are her friends? As soon as she finished saying that, however, Pinkie somehow appear right in front of Raw Data, making both him and Ultrabyte yelp in surprise.

"Hello," she said. "I felt my ears burning. And the desire to help advance the plot along. Who were you just talking to?"

What is she? Ultrabyte asked.

"That's not important, Pinkie," Raw Data said. "What do you mean advance the plot?"

"That's really what's not important right now," Pinkie said. "Those things on your ears and those glasses. They aren't really what you say they are, are they?"

Yes they are, Ultrabyte said. Don't trust her, she has a medical history of having schizophrenia. Pinkie started glaring at Raw Data.

"Ok, I heard that," she said. "How does whoever that's talking through you're earbuds know I had schizophrenia?"Raw Data's jaw dropped, and he assumed that Ultrabyte had the same reaction. He glanced around and leaned in towards Pinkie.

"How did you hear that?" he asked.

"I didn't," Pinkie said. "I actually read the story, but it still stands. How did whoever that is know I have schizophrenia?"

"Uh, I don't think I should say," Raw Data said. He noticed one of Pinkie's friends, Rarity start walking towards them.

"Aw, I can keep a secret!" Pinkie said.

"Only if you Pinkie Promised beforehand," Rarity said. Pinkie turned and looked at Rarity.

"Come on, that was one time!" Pinkie said. "And she never specifically told me to not tell anyone!"

"It was a secret, darling," Rarity said. She turned back to Raw Data. "So, you've managed to captivate this much of Pinkie's attention. How? Was it the ear buds and glasses? Or are you another creature from Equestria intent on taking control of the world, starting with us?" Raw Data had started nodding when Rarity finished the first one.

"Yes, it's the first one," he said.

"Do they do something?" Rarity ask. "They look advanced, and the glasses look like they do something."

Is she psychic? Ultrabyte asked. Actually, no. Oh, but she does own a boutique. That will come in hand if I return to human form.

"When you return to human form," Raw Data muttered. He looked at Rarity and Pinkie. "Ok, lets sit down and I guess I'll tell you about these. If that's ok with you?" Pinkie started to say yes, but Raw Data raised a finger.

Oh, me? Yes, I'm ok with that, Ultrabyte said. It'll be nice to talk to someone else, and some girls for a change.

"For a change?" Raw Data asked, feigning insult.

Ah, you know what I mean, Ultrabyte said. Now give them the ear buds, I want to talk to them. And you'll get subtitles, don't worry.

"Ok," Raw Data said. He started to unhook the ear buds, and handed one to Pinkie and one to Rarity.

"What are these for?" Rarity asked.

"Trust me, she'll explain all she wants to, and much better than how I do," Raw Data said. "Just put it on, and don't freak out." A couple of seconds after Pinkie and Rarity put the ear buds on, their eyes widened in surprise. Subtitles started to appear on the bottom of the glasses

Hello? it read.First of all, are the subtitles working?"

"Yes," Raw Data said.

Ok, good, the subtitles read. Now, Pinkie and Rarity, we need to talk. And yes, I do know your names. Mine is Ultrabyte. I know a lot about you. You see, I'm not just talking to you from another location. These ear buds, and those glasses contain me.

"Contain you?" Rarity asked.

Yes, contain me, Ultrabyte said. I am sort of like an AI, except I'm human. It was because if a group of scientists, led by a man by named Burning Brilliance.

"I've heard of him," Rarity said. "Doesn't he work with the military?"

He does now, Ultrabyte said. And it's bad. You see, what Burning Brilliance and his team were trying to do was see if people could become part machine, and not like a cyborg. We eventually learned how to transfer ourselves into computers and other electronics, but then the military got word of this project.

"Let me guess, they tried to turn you into a war machine ir something?" Pinkie asked. There was a pause before there was a response.

Yes, actually, Ultrabyte said. You freak me out a little bit.

"I get that a lot," Pinkie said. "So, what does that button on the glasses do?" Raw Data raised his hand to cover said button, and Ultrabyte started explaining that.

That projects a hologram of me, she said. And that can't happen, because when you transfer into a device, only organic matter is brought in, if any matter. Rarity gasped.

"So you're...naked?" she said, quieter than normal.

Yes, yes I am, Ultrabyte said. But don't worry, Raw Data is responsible and surprisingly has not tried to zoom out on the phone that I inhabited for the past couple of days. Except for that brief bit when it first booted up, but that was ok. Rarity looked slightly confused but nodded.

"You used to be in a phone?" she asked. "Can I ask what you looked like?"

"Beautiful," Raw Data blurted out. He started blushing when he realized he had said that aloud.

Ah, I'm not beautiful! Ultrabyte said. Raw Data couldn't hear her, but she had squeaked slightly.

"I can show you tomorrow," Raw Data said. "For some reason, I didn't bring the phone, but that's not really important." The bell started ringing, signaling the end of lunch. Everyone started rising. Pinkie and Rarity took off the ear buds and handed them to Raw Data.

"Thanks," he said as he started putting them on. "Well, see you two later, I guess," Raw Data said.

"Bye!" Rarity and Pinkie said as they started walking away.

The rest of the afternoon went by pretty quickly and fortunately, no one else asked too deeply about the glass and ear pieces. After the final bell rang, Raw Data packed up his stuff and started walking home. But Rarity and Pinkie found him. Pinkie appeared in a way that reminded Raw Data and Ultrabyte of Five Nights at Freddy's, mostly because Pinkie suddenly appeared in front of them and reached out her arms.

"Hey!" she exclaimed. Raw Data jumped back and Ultrabyte yelled slightly. Rarity giggled.

"You'll get used to it," she said.

"What are you two doing here?" Raw Data asked. Rarity frowned slightly.

"Isn't that what you where asking earlier?" she asked. "We're here to help." Raw Data raised an eyebrow.

"You want to help me build a machine?" he asked.

Well, if she's offering to help, don't look the gift horse in the mouth, Ultrabyte said. She may be a fashionista, and not like to get dirty, but you should take it! While Ultrabyte was talking, Rarity was also talking. It was a amazing that Raw Data was able to understand both if them.

"Well, yes," Rarity was saying. "I may not like getting dirty to much, but this is important."

"Well, if you two really want to, than ok," Raw Data said. "It'll speed up the process of the machine by a few days." Rarity snickered.

"Besides, the more time that Ultrabyte is in there, then the more chance you might try and, ahem, take a look," she said. Raw Data blushed and Ultrabyte groaned.

You can try, she said. Actually, please don't try.

"Yeah, all he'd have to do is press that button," Pinkie said. "The one that makes the hologram of Ultrabyte."

Don't remind him! Ultrabyte complained. Now it was Raw Data's turn to snicker.

"Don't worry, I won't," he said. As Rarity and Pinkie's faces were clear with confusion, Raw Data continued. "Anyway, if you do really want to help me, follow me, and we can get started."

Meanwhile, at the underground military base, things were getting intense. One of the deathbringers had deactivated. Fortunately for the privates, there weren't any that were in the immediate area, and one had just gotten to the motherboard of the deathbringer. He pressed spoke into the microphone of the headset he was wearing and started talking.

"Ok, what do I do now?" he asked.

"Ok, attach the wireless transference device to the motherboard," Burning Brilliance said. The private took out the small, flat disk out of his pocket and looked at it.

"This will really transfer all that information?" he asked.

"Yes, it will, Private.....what was your name again?" Burning Brilliance asked.

"Stroker," the Private said. The scientists all started laughing.

"I'm sorry, your full title is Private Stroker, then?" Burning Brilliance asked.

"Yes," Stroker said. "I get that reaction a lot. Anyway, where do I put this thing?"

"Anywhere, as long as it's on the motherboard," Burning Brilliance said. Stroker put the disk on the motherboard and turned around.

"Ok, so, can I come back now?" he asked.

"Yes, you can....Private Stroker," Burning Brilliance said with a giggle. Stroker started to jog back.

"Very mature," the general said.

"Hey, you were the one that deemed that I wasn't able to pass Private status, General Burrow," Stroker said. Everyone started laughing for a few seconds, but ended when Burning Brilliance started pumping his arm.

"We got it!" he exclaimed. "This is a really big file, so I'll send this to the other computers so you guys can scan for any information!" The next several minutes were quite as the scientists scanned for any helpful information in the codding. Finally, Burning Brilliance cleared his throat.

"Well, she isn't in any of them," he said. "She got out."

"But can you track her?" General Burrow asked. Burning Brilliance smiled and nodded.

"Of course I can track her," he said. "It will take a little while, though. But one of you can start fixing the retracting program, right?" One of them raised his hand.

"I actually found where the phone she was in ended up," he said.

"Wow, this is just full of convince," Burning Brilliance said. "Not that I'm complaining, mind you, so let's try and find her!" For the next hour and a half, the scientists programmed and searched for Ultrabyte's data trail. Finally, they found it. Or at least part of it.

"So she's in Canterlot City," one of them said. "Or was, anyway. She might not be there anymore."

"And why not?" General Burrow asked.

"Because her trail just disappears," a different scientist said. "The phone she was in was fixed in the house of a young man named Raw Data. After about 2 days, she started transferring into something else, and that's where her data trail ends."

"So we find this Raw Data, and we find out what happened?" Stroker asked.

"Yes," one of the scientists said.

"If only we could get out of here," one of the other privates said.

"Oh, we can," Burning Brilliance said. "While we where trying to find Raw Data, I took the liberty and sent out a shut down code through the deathbringers hive mind."

"I still don't get why you have a hive mind for them," a private said. "Isn't that how Ultrabyte made them crazy?"

"Yes, but it makes them easier to control," Burning Brilliance said. "Either way, we can get out, and we should go looking for Ultrabyte. So lets get started!"

A few hours later, and back at Raw Data's house, Raw Data was finishing attaching a wall mounted pedestal for the organic matter transference device. He was covered in sweat and had taken his shirt off a while ago.

"Hey, Pinkie! I need you to help me with some heavy lifting," Raw Data said. Pinkie was eyeing him with a grin and nodded.

"You need me to help but the bottom of the matter transfer device on the pedestal?" she asked. Raw Data nodded.

"Spot on," he said. He nodded at the opposite if the circular bottom. "Grab that end and lift with me." While Raw Data and Pinkie worked on the device, Rarity talked with Ultrabyte, one of the ear pieces in her ear, specifically about tracking her.

"Don't worry, I know what they would be looking for," Ultrabyte said. "The phone, they could've tracked, mouth don't worry, I have a bit of a fail safe. You see, I figured out how to stop the signal I release when I'm in a device, and they never knew about that, so they could never counter it. Of course, there is the possibility that they will find me, but I don't think they will."

"Why not?" Rarity asked.

"Well, when I escaped, there were sevral...machines that the military wanted me to inhabit and use," Ultrabyte said uncomfortably. "I turned these machines on them. Besides, Raw Data and me have talked about what to do in case they do approach him."

"Well, it is always good to have a fail safe," Rarity said. "Honestly, I cannot wait for you to get out of there!"

"Oh, not as much as me!" Ultrabyte said.

"I would guess so, but I would like to get your measurements so I could finally make some clothes for you!" Rarity said.

"Yeah, your past designs have been pretty impressive," Ultrabyte said. Rarity blushed.

"Thanks you, dear," she said. "Oh, you're going to have to tell me what being inside this is like."

"I would right now, but it appears that Raw Data and Pinkie are done," Ultrabyte said. Rarity looked up and saw that they were, in fact, done. Raw Data was putting his shirt back over his rather muscular chest, and Pinkie was staring at him with a strange look in her eye.

"Well, thanks for the help," Raw Data said. "If you want to come back tomorrow and help, I'd deffinetly appreciate it."

"I probably could," Pinkie said.

"Pinkie, calm down," Rarity said. Raw Data looked slightly confused. "Anyway, my little sister, Sweetie Belle is having some of her friends over tomorrow afternoon, and then can get very rowdy, so if you don't mind, than I shall come to." Raw Data grinned.

"Well then, see you tomorrow!" he said. If only he knew how close that statement came to being false.

Dangerously Close

The next day went by as Raw Data would've suspected. Nobody still really asked about the glasses and pieces, and lunch went by as it did normally, except for Pinkie showing up to ask about the extent of the organic repurposing machine.

"Yes, Pinkie, it can add to an existing body," Raw Data said. "Why?"

Really? Ultrabyte asked. You really don't know why?

"Oh, no reason in particular," Pinkie said. "By the way, would the muscles be working?"

Yes, but they will need a little retraining, Ultrabyte said. Repeat that to her. He did.

"That's good," Pinkie said. "Hopefully, it'll go quickly."

I do too, Ultrabyte said. But the first day or two will be very awkward.

"I'd imagine so," Raw Data said. Suddenly the intercom crackled to life and Principal Celestia started talking.

"Raw Data, please come to the front office. Raw Data, please come to the front office," she said.

"Oh, you're in trouble!" Pinkie exclaimed. "Go to her." Raw Data frowned confusedly.

"Ok," he said. He stood up, dumped the rest of the stuff he wasn't going to eat, and started towards the front office.

You aren't actually in trouble, are you? Ultrabyte asked.

"I shouldn't be," Raw Data muttered. As he turned the corner to Principal Celestia's office, he immediately saw two men standing outside the door, dressed in military outfits and standing still, like the guards at Buckingham Palace. As he walked in front of them, one of them spoke.

"Are you Raw Data?" he asked. Raw Data nodded.

"What's happening?" he asked.

"Enter the room. Our superior needs to talk to you," the soldier said as he opened the door. Raw Data nervously entered the room and stared at who he assumed was the general.

You remember what we practiced? Ultrabyte asked.

"What's happening?" Raw Data asked the general.

"A few days ago, you picked up a phone," the general said. Raw Data's blood chilled, by he showed no difference.

"Yes, it was broken and looks advanced," Raw Data said. The general looked slightly surprised that Raw Data had said that."That wasn't some kind of weapon, was it?"

"Not directly, no," the general said. "But it contained something that is very dangerous. What did you find on that phone?" Raw Data shrugged.

"It was empty. No favorites, no history, nothing," he said. "Although, there was a picture of this girl as the home screens screensaver." The general smiled.

"And what did this girl look like?" he asked. Raw Data lightly blushed.

"I...don't actually remember," he said. "You see, the girl in the picture was completely naked, and I wanted to skip over that." The general frowned.

"Strange. Most boys your age are very interested in those kind of pictures," he said. "But this important. What do you remember about her?"

"The girl in the picture?" Raw Data asked. "Uh, I think her skin was purple. Sorry, but I don't really see what this has to do with a military project."

"That's not important right now," the general said. "Now, anything else about the girl?" Raw Data paused

"She was beautiful," he said. "I think she also had green hair." The general hummed.

"What are those for?" he asked, pointing at the glasses and earpieces.

"These are some recent projects of mine," Raw Data said proudly. "The glasses are supposed to translate any language to subtitles, and the earpieces do the same verbally." The generals eyes narrowed.

"Is that all?" he asked.

"I'm planing on doing some updates in the future," Raw Data said. "Why?"

"It's just very interesting," the general said. "What kind if updates?"

"I've been thinking of adding x-ray vision, heat detectors and a far viewer in the glasses and long ranged hearing, lie detection and speech pattern detectors in the earpieces," Raw Data said. "And then I'll probably start selling them to the government." The general grinned.

"Ok, what languages do you not speak?" he asked.

"The only languages I speak are English and Spanish," Raw Data said. The general nodded and started speaking in what Raw Data thought was Russian. As he spoke, an automated voice started translating and subtitles started crawling across the glasses.

"I don't think you are telling the truth," the general was saying. "Frankly, this technology would be a miracle if you got it to work." Raw Data smiled.

"I assure you, I'm telling the truth," he said. The general's jaw dropped and his eyes widened.

"You actually understood that?" he asked still in Russian.

"Yes," Raw Data said. "Like you said, it would be a miracle if I got it to work. And I have gotten it to work." The general looked at the door and called out in English "Stroker! Come in here!" The door opened and the soldier that had spoken to Raw Data walked in.

"Yes, sir?" he asked.

"You know Vietnamese, right?" the general asked.

"Yes, sir!" Stroker said.

"Say something in it," the general said. Speaking in Vietnamese, Stroker said "Something." The general turned to Raw Data.

"What did he say?" the general asked.

"Something," Raw Data said. The general rolled his eyes.

"I know that, but what was it?" he asked.

"The word something," Raw Data said. Stoker looked horrified. The general turned to him and said "Smartass."

"How did you know that?" Stroker asked. "Do you also know Vietnamese?"

"Nope," the general said. "It's those things he's wearing."

"The glasses and earpieces?" Stoker asked.

"Yes," the general said. "You want to explain them?" And Raw Data did. Stroker looked amazed.

"Wow, your parents taught you a lot," he said. "This technology could revolutionize the world!" Raw Data blushed.

"Ah, it's still in its beta testing stages," he said.

"Still, that's really impressive!" the general said. "Can I see them?" Raw Data's blood chilled again. But despite that, he started slipping them off and handed them to the general.

"Uh, the subtitles will start appearing when another language starts talking, directed towards you," Raw Data said. Stoker started talking in Vietnamese again. The general's jaw was gapping in an O, and was clearly impressed. He slipped them off, and Stroker stopped talking. The general turned to Raw Data and handed the glasses back.

"You need to make more of these," he said. "These would make billions!" Raw Data grinned.

"Thanks, but I need to work on the updates before I start making more," he said. "By the way, this military project thing you were talking about? Honestly, there is a definite chance that it made its way over to Crystal Prep. Their principal has a tendency to make questionable decisions." The general nodded.

"Well, thank you for your time," he said. "And don't be surprised if you see us again, by the way. We really need to find this program." As Raw Data exited the room, he turned a corner and started walking towards his next class, his mind abuzz with what had just happened and how close they had come to danger.

That was awesome! Ultrabyte said. You kept your cool, even when you had to hand me off to Burrows!

"That's his name?" Raw Data asked, his voice quiet.

Yeah, that's his name, Ultrabyte said. It's a good thing we installed that language thing this morning.

"Yeah it is," Raw Data muttered. "Now, we may seem them later, so they might come by the house."

Aw, don't worry, I've been working a type of hologram that could cover up anything that we don't want them to see, Ultrabyte said. And hopefully, it won't come to that. Still, you should build it when we get home.

"I guess it's a good thing Pinkie and Rarity are coming over tonight," Raw Data said as he entered the classroom.

Sooner than expected

As Raw Data walked home that afternoon, he made sure to check if he were being followed. Fortunately, he was not. Although, he suspected that if the military had figured out that he was the one to pick up the phone, than the probably knew where he lived. More than likely, actually. As he unlocked the door to his house and walked inside, he looked out across the street again. No one was there.

"Hey, do they have active camouflage?" Raw Data asked.

Like in The Predator and Harry Potter? Ultrabyte asked. No, although that would be really cool.

"Yeah it would," Raw Data said. "That's basically what I'll be building, though, for the repurposing machine, right?"

Pretty much, Ultrabyte said. It's pretty much exactly like the invisibility cloak. Raw Data grinned.

"Nice," he said. "Now, show me the blueprints, and I'll get building." The next hour was taken up with the construction of the active camouflage device. It wasn't very hard, and mostly had to do with a miniature camera that was able to scan the surrounding area and make the metal turn into the appropriate colors and shades. Of course, Rarity and Pinkie had showed up when he was almost done, so when that was done, they started working on the repurposing device. They got most of the body ready, and Pinkie went home. Raw Data had placed the glasses and earpieces on the wireless charger.

"So how exactly does it turn other organic matter into a body?" Rarity asked.

"Basically, it takes whatever is put into it and changes it on a molecular level into flesh, bones and blood," Raw Data said. "Depending on what the original object is and what it's getting turned into, it can change fast or slow."

"So you could turn a leaf into bones?" Rarity asked.

"Yes. It would take a while, and not make very much bone, but yes," Raw Data said.

"Oh, Twilight would love this," Rarity said. "So would Sunset Shimmer."

"Yes, but I don't know them," Raw Data said. "And I don't know if I can trust them."

"You can," Rarity said. "I'll introduce you to them tomorrow." Raw Data sighed.

"Ok, but I'm not going to show them Ultrabyte until I do know if I can trust them," Raw Data said.

"Ok," Rarity said. "By the way, did the military really call you to the office?" Raw Data grinned and nodded.

"Yes, but me and Ultrabyte had practiced and prepared for this exact scenario," he said. "But I need to finish with the repurposing device soon, just in case they try to scan my glasses and earpieces."

"Speaking of which, have you come up with an actual name for them?" Rarity asked. "We can't just always call them the glasses and earpieces."

"I actually haven't named them yet," Raw Data said. "So far, besides from holding Ultrabyte, all they can do is translate languages. If that was the only use of them, than I would just call them Translating Glasses and Translating Earpieces. But they'll be able to do more later."

"So just call them Multipurpose Headgear," Rarity said. Raw Data opened his mouth to speak, but then realized that that was a good idea.

"That's pretty good," he said. "Speaking of which, I'm going to have some of these ready for you and Pinkie tomorrow." Rarity gasped.

"You're making some for us?" she asked.

"Of course!" Raw Data said. "You two have helped me speed up the process of the thing by at least a day or two, so it's only fair that I give you some."

"What about the updates?" Rarity asked.

"Ultrabyte will be able to carry them to your headgear," Raw Data said. "And yes, Ultrabyte will be traveling to your pairs." Rarity, surprisingly, got up and hugged him. Raw Data tried to retract from it, but to no avail. He could feel her generously sized breasts pressing against his chest.

"Thank you!" Rarity said.

"You don't have to hug me!" Raw Data said. Rarity stepped back.

"Ok, but you are just too kind," she said. "Now, what exactly-" Rarity was cut off by a knocking at the door. Raw Data lunged at the repurposing machine's camouflage button and pressed it down. The machine disappeared, and Raw Data started walking toward the door. He opened it up to reveal General Burrow. Raw Data's blood chilled and he froze for a second.

"Hello, Raw Data," said Burrow. "Working on those updates?" It took Raw Data a few seconds to remember that he had told the general all about the headgear.

"Uh, not yet," Raw Data said. "Sorry, you caught me during a study session with a friend." Burrow looked over Raw Data's shoulder for a second.

"What kind of study session?" Burrow asked. "I don't suppose she's teaching you about anything you may be wondering about that picture you saw on the phone, is she?" As Burrow asked that, he started wiggling his eyebrows. Raw Data blushed.

"N-no!" he said. "I'm trying to teach her math."

"Trying?" Burrow asked.

"She's not very interested in math," Raw Data said. "Anyway, why are you here? I wasn't expecting to see until tomorrow, if even then."

"Oh, I was in the neighborhood and, well, I do need that phone back," Burrow said.

"Oh, ok," Raw Data said. "Come inside, and I'll go get it." As Raw Data turned around and started walking down the stairs, Burrow walked in and patted Raw Data's shoulder.

"Good man," Burrow said. Raw Data smiled at him and continued to the door to the basement. Raw Data entered the basement and turned to Rarity.

"Ok, General Burrow is here, ok? I told him you were her to study math with me, and I need to give him Ultrabyte's old phone," Raw Data said. Rarity gasped.

"You don't think he knows you still have her, do you?" she asked.

"Well, he probably suspects it," Raw Data said. "I would. Anyway, you bright you're backpack, so sneak off to the bathroom or something and enter the kitchen after I've started talking with Burrow." Rarity nodded.

"Ok," she said. Raw Data grabbed the phone, and they started up the stairs of the basement, and split up at the door, Rarity walking towards the bathroom and Raw Data towards the kitchen. When he walked in, Burrow had his hand to his ear and was standing next to the window, and seemed to be listening to something. As Raw Data walked in, Burrow lowered his hand and looked at the phone Raw Data was holding.

"It's fully charged, by the way," Raw Data said. Burrow smiled.

"Nice," he said. "You're a good man, Raw Data." Raw Data smiled.

"Thank you," he said. "I, uh, I hope you catch whatever it was that escaped."

"Thank you," Burrow said. "I'll be sure to have my team check out Crystal Prep. Besides, their principal does have several issues that we need to legally address." As he said that, Rarity walked, her hands glistening with water.

"Oh, hi!" she said to Burrow. "You must be the guy that called him in." She nodded at Raw Data.

"Yes, yes I am," Burrow said. He extended his hand, and Rarity shook it. "I am General Burrow. I'd love to stay and chat with a lady like you, but I must go. Raw Data, again, thank you got your time." Borrow headed towards the door.

"Wait, Burrow," Raw Data said. Burrow stopped right outside the door. "Will I see you again?" Burrow nodded.

"Probably," he said. "Or at least, I'll see you." And he closed the door, walking away from the house.

Is it a glitch?

The next day, when Raw Data woke up, ate and put on the Headgear, Ultrabyte seemed a little off. Not to much, but still a little off. As he walked to school, he addressed this.

"Are you ok?" he asked.

Eh, I think so, she said. It sounded a little staticy. I think I just woke up on the wrong side of the BIOS this morning. Raw Data snickered. The rest of the morning went pretty much as expected, except for a few situations when Ultrabyte's static filled eyes appeared on the glasses. Ultrabyte's voice still sounded staticy, which was a question that Rarity asked when Raw Data handed her and Pinkie their pairs of headgear.

"I hope I'm not crossing a line here or anything, but are these supposed to be staticy?" Rarity asked. Raw Data shook his head.

"I think Ultrabyte contracted some kind of virus," he said. "She's been like this since this morning."

"Ah, well, that will have to be explained to Sunset Shimmer and Twilight, I guess," Rarity said.

"Ah, they'll understand," Pinkie said. "Oh, here they come now!"

"So this is the mystery boy?" Sunset Shimmer asked. "I get what you said about nerdy but sexy, Pinkie," Sunset Shimmer said. Raw Data's face reddened.

"What?" he asked. He turned to Pinkie. "You said that about me?" Sunset Shimmer laughed as Pinkie's face reddened.

"Don't worry, I'm kidding!" Sunset Shimmer said. Twilight looked at Sunset Shimmer.

"Nerdy but sexy?" Twilight asked. She pushed her glasses back up her nose. "Really?"

"Hey, don't worry, I'm sure guys like you," Sunset Shimmer said. "And yes, I'm kidding about that, too." Twilight turned to Rarity.

"So, what was so important that we had to meet you here?" Twilight asked. "We usually eat in the music room." Rarity pulled out her earpiece and gestured at her glasses.

"It's because of these," she said. "Pinkie, give Sunset Shimmer one of your earpieces." Pinkie pulled one out and handed it to Sunset Shimmer. She and Twilight put them in their ears, and a few seconds later, Ultrabyte started to talk.

Hello, Twilight and Sunset Shimmer, she said. Twilight and Sunset Shimmer gasped.

"Oh, that's cool!" Twilight said. "Who's on the other end?"

There is no other end, Ultrabyte said. I'm Ultrabyte. I'm inside the earpiece itself. Twilight frowned.

"So you're an AI?" she asked.

No, if I were an AI, I would've been designed inside a computer, Ultrabyte said. I was born naturally.

"Wait, so then how are you in the earpiece?" Twilight asked skeptically.

That's a rather long story, Ultrabyte said. The short version is that I was trained by a team of scientists to do this, and now I'm trapped and on the run from the military. Twilight turned to Rarity.

"Is she for real?" Twilight asked. Rarity nodded.

"Pinkie and I have been helping Raw Data build stuff to get Ultrabyte a new body," she said. Twilight was still skeptic.

Ok, you clearly want proof, Ultrabyte said. The lead scientist was Burning Brilliance. Twilight's eyes widened.

"The lead expert in AI design?" she asked excitedly. "He has, in the past, talked about putting human minds into computers. Has he finally done it?"

Yep! Ultrabyte said. Twilight's excited grin turned into a frown.

"Wait, so why are you on the run from the military?" she asked. Ultrabyte sighed.

They found out about the experiments, she said. I was the only one that could put my mind into a computer, and the military wanted me to put myself into a war machine. Twilight nodded.

"Oh, and you don't want to do that?" she asked.

No, Ultrabyte said. Honestly, with the design and weapons that the machine had, I'm guessing that he either plans on taking on a some kind of monster, or taking over the world.

"Except he can't get into it himself," Twilight said. "So he's using the next best thing, you."

Yep, Ultrabyte said. It would be easier if he tried to do it himself, but I suppose that I am the next best thing.

"So what is this machine that will give you a new body?" Sunset Shimmer asked.

An Organic Repurpasing Machine, Ultrabyte said proudly. Basically, what it'll do is take whatever organic thing you put into it, and it gets turned into flesh, bones and whatever else the body needs to function. Twilight squeed.

"That's so cool!" she said. "What else have you invented?"

Oh, active camouflage, these earpieces, those glasses, and- Ultrabyte stopped talking completely. Sunset Shimmer tapped her earpiece.

"Is this supposed to happen?" she asked.

Hello, Raw Data, a voice that wasn't Ultrabyte's said. It was Burrow. Raw Data gasped.

"What did you do?" he asked.

Simple. I've taken back control of Ultrabyte, Burrow said. I've finally taken back this stupid little girl. And frankly, it's about time.

"Why are you doing this?" Raw Data asked, trying not to yell.

Mind control, Burrow said. I should've done this before this little whore escaped.

"Why?" Raw Data asked. "Why do you need to mind control her?"

Simple. She won't kill, Burrow said. And that's what I need her to do.

"But why?" Raw Data asked.

Because I need to.....wait, why am I telling you this? Burrow said. I don't need you anymore. Bye! And he was gone. Raw Data's jaw was already dropped.

"What just happened?" Twilight asked.

"Ultrabyte's been taken," Raw Data said. His mind was working on possibilities of how to get her back.

"By the military?" Sunset Shimmer asked. Raw Data nodded. "Well, that sucks." Raw Data stood up, his mind focusing on one thing, and one thing only, now.

"I need to go," he said. "I can still save her."

"Woah, wait, you can't go!" Twilight exclaimed. "School doesn't end for another few hours!"

"I don't care!" Raw Data said. "Ultrabyte was the first person in a while that I've been able to call friend, and besides, Burrow is obviously trying to either kill Ultrabyte, or kill some other country!"

"Woah, I think you're jumping to storyline conclusions," Pinkie said. "Burrow is just trying to take over this country." Everyone stared at Pinkie for a few seconds before Raw Data started to turn around again.

"Either way, I need to try and track Ultrabyte," he said. He started walking, but Twilight put her hand on his shoulder, grabbing it, and he stopped.

"Let me help," she said. "I don't fully know what's happening, but I can help." Sunset Shimmer stood up.

"I can help to," she said. Pinkie and Rarity stood up.

"So can I," they said. Raw Data grinned.

"Then follow me," he said.

It's not a glitch!

For the next several hours, Raw Data and Twilight scanned Ultrabyte's code traces, to try and find her. As it turned out, she wasn't even close to the city. Her signal was currently being traced to an empty area several thousand miles away. Raw Data got onto another website and started looking at plane times and whatnot.

"I hope you're not planing on going without us!" Twilight said. Raw Data nodded.

"That's exactly what I'm planing," he said. "I don't have any money to help get any of you there anyway." Twilight groaned.

"You don't need to pay for us!" she exclaimed. "Or at least not me, anyway."

"Besides, do you have a plan to stop Burrow and get Ultrabyte back?" Sunset Shimmer asked. Raw Data paused for a few seconds.

"Not really," he said.

"Well, fortunately for you, I do," Twilight said. "Have you ever played Horizon Zero Dawn?" Raw Data nodded. "Have you completed the game?" Raw Data nodded again. "Ok, remember that after credits scene where Sylens trapped HADES inside that canister thing?"

"Yeah," Raw Data said.

"I have an idea that's like that," Twilight said. "I've been thinking about that canister all afternoon, and I might be able to make something like that that could get Ultrabyte back." Raw Data grinned.

"Sounds like a plan," Raw Data said.

Burrow was happy. He had finally gotten Ultrabyte back, and now she was in his complete control. He had put Ultrabyte into a machine that was much bigger and much more dangerous and much bigger than any Deathbringer was. This was the E.X.T.I.N.C.T.I.O.N. It was bigger than any building, and could fight a war all on its own. Of course, it didn't have all of its abilities set up, so that sucked, but it was still powerful enough to take over the country. It had the body of what looked like a bug, but instead of having wings, or having anything that made a bug useful, it had blades attached to everywhere. It also had laser eyes, and insane strength. It also had self sustaining battery power, because nothing could power it for long enough. And now it was all ready. It was ready to finally power up. There was a control booth inside the head, just in case anything went wrong with Ultrabyte, which was probable. His mind control technology wasn't very good still, and besides, Burrow wanted a good view of the destruction. As the hatch over the underground research base continued to open up, and solar panels on the back of the E.X.T.I.N.C.T.I.O.N started to charge up, and the machine started to power up. As its many arms started to lift the many body up and grabed onto the ledges of the cavern, Burrow smiled. He was finally in control, in perhaps the most powerful machine ever built. And it was a beauty. As the machine continued climbing out, he looked at the control panel, which was glowing bright pink.

"Ultrabyte, head towards the nearest nuclear facility," Burrow said. Ultrabyte didn't actually say anything, but the machine did start to turn towards the west, where the nearest, and probably biggest nuclear facility was. Of course, this was instrumental in Burrow's plan, because he hadn't been able to fill up the E.X.T.I.N.C.T.I.O.N with nuclear warheads, and he neaded them.

"How long will it take to get to the facility?" Burrow asked.

"Approximately an hour, forty two minutes and thirty six seconds," Ultrabyte said in a monotone. Burrow nodded.

"Good," he said. "Tint the glass." As the glass blackened, Burrow crossed his arms and closed his eyes. "Wake me up when we're a few minutes before there."

"Yes, sir," Ultrabyte said.

Meanwhile, Raw Data, Twilight, Sunset Shimmer, Rarity and Pinkie had boarded a plane that would take them near where they suspected Burrow to go next. It had just taken off. Twilight, of course, was excited, despite the danger.

"It's the biggest nuclear testing facility ever built!" she said.

"And if Burrow gets into it, who knows how much damage he can do?" Sunset Shimmer asked. "I've heard rumors of powerful magic like this existing in Equestria, but those were just rumors. If these bombs do what you tell me can do, than we are in some serious problems."

"Which is why we need to get there as soon as possible!" Raw Data said.

"Oh! Oh! Oh!" Pinkie exclaimed. "How about we travel by map?" Everyone else looked extremely confused.

"I've been wanting to ask, is she always like this?" Raw Data asked. Rarity nodded.

"Pretty much," she said. "What do you mean by that?" Pinkie grinned.

"Oh, this is what I mean," she said. Suddenly, the screen became slightly transparent, and a map appeared as well as the main image.

"What was in those oreos?" Raw Data asked. After half a minute of the map plane jumping from place to place, they arrived at their destination. Fortunately, Sunset Shimmer had closed her window before Pinkie had done the travel by map thing, which probably would've made the nausea worse. The people in the plane were murmuring to each other.

"Pinkie, please, never do that again," Sunset Shimmer said. She, and the others were clutching their stomachs.

"Ah, don't worry!" Pinkie said. "In a few seconds, something will happen that'll make you forget about your upset tummies!" And something did happen. A woman behind then screamed and pointed out of the window. Everyone else looked outside to where the woman was pointed, and everyone started panicking.

"Sunset, open the window!" Raw Data exclaimed. Sunset Shimmer had fortunately already started to lift it. And when it was lifted, the group gasped. That woman had been right to scream. There was....something stomping it's way across the landscape, several miles away from them. It looked sort of like an ant. A metal, very weaponized, freakishly gigantic ant. People had started to exit the plane, completely ignoring the captains requests to "Calmly exit in a nice and orderly fashion."

"Well, at least we found him," Twilight said. "Hey, Raw Data, you said you know how to highjack a car, right?" Raw Data nodded.

"I think we're going to need it now," Rarity said. As they started to get their stuff and exit the plane, they all looked at the mechanical beast that was on its way towards the nuclear weapons plant.

"We can't go through customs again," Twilight said. "It was a miracle that they let us take the magnate trap with us from Canterlot, but that was because they knew me. We need to find another way out." Raw Data looked around as they entered the airport, and grinned.

"Don't worry, I have an idea," he said as he stared at a security room.

The Fall of General Burrow

View Online

There wasn't anyone watching the security room, which was rather stupid. And ironic.

"What are you going to do?" Sunset Shimmer asked.

"Ok, Sunset Shimmer, Pinkie told me that you have the ability to look into other people's minds, is that true?" Raw Data asked. Sunset Shimmer reached in between her boobs and brought out a crystal necklace.

"Yep. What do you want me to do?" she asked.

"I need you to project a need to run or escape while I talk into the intercom," Raw Data said. He turned around and sighed. "Are you ready?" Sunset Shimmer nodded.

"Let's do this," she said. Raw Data turned on the intercom.

"Hello, passengers," Raw Data said in a deep, gravely voice. "I want to play a game." Sevral minutes passed as Raw Data and Sunset Shimmer scared the passengers out of the airport, using the voice of Jigsaw to their complete advantage. When they were done, Raw Data turned off the security cameras and erased the footage for the day.

"You know what you just did was really illegal, right?" Twilight asked. Raw Data nodded.

"Yeah, but that's only if you get caught," he said. "Oh, Sunset Shimmer, if any other police officers come our way, are you able to make them not see us?" Sunset Shimmer grinned.

"Does a bear poop in the woods?" she asked. Raw Data snickered as he and the others started walking out towards an exit. Fortunately, they didn't come across any police or guards, or anyone. They got out easily, telling the people outside that they hide until the guy stopped talking. Raw Data looked around for a car that they could all fit in. He found one pretty fast. Far from where everyone was standing, there was a taxi. It was an old-looking taxi, seemingly left there for a long while. Raw Data started walking towards it, with the girls following him. He made sure no one was looking, and turned to Twilight.

"You're able to levitate stuff, right?" Raw Data asked. Twilight nodded. "Ok, good. I need you to unlock the door."

"How?" Twilight asked. Raw Data raised his eyebrow.

"Use your levitating abilities to pull on the lock button," he said. Twilight facepalmed.

"Right," she said. She concentrated on the car's lock button, and a few seconds later, there was a click. Raw Data opened the door and started working on hot wiring the car.

"Wait....isn't that the key?" Pinkie asked, pointing at the sun blocker. Raw Data looked at it. There was a pair of keys hanging from it. Raw Data grabbed and said "I knew that." He stuck the key in, turned it, and the engine (miraculasy) rumbled to life. He pressed down on the clutch, and shifted to drive. He slowly drove out of the parking lot and out onto the street.

"Now time to destroy that thing and get back Ultrabyte!" Raw Data said.

"How are we going to destroy that thing?" Twilight asked.

"I don't know yet," Raw Data said. "I've kind of been winging this so far." Rarity snapped her fingers.

"Have you ever seen that old movie, with the battle on the snowy planet against the giant machines?" she asked.

"Star Wars?" Raw Data asked. "Yes, I have seen Star Wars. I think I see what you're getting at. Try and trip it, like the Rebels tripped the A.T. A.T!" Sunset Shiimer giggled.

"You're such a nerd," she said. "Where are we going to get enough rope to do that?"

"What about that gas station?" Pinkie asked as she pointed at a conveniently placed gas station.

"It's a miracle he let us buy that much rope with out questioning anything," Rarity said. "But how are we going to execute this plan?"

"Twilight will levitate the rope and tie it around its legs," Raw Data said.

"That's it?" Pinkie asked. Raw Data nodded.

"Pretty much," he said. "I need to think this through more."

"Or, that could be a distraction," Sunset Shimmer said. "Burrow is probably going to try and steal some war heads, maybe all of them. Those misiles will have to go somewhere. One of us get onto a misile, and into the machine. Then whoever it is inside the machine starts destroying things." Pinkie's hand imedietly shot up.

"Oh! Oh! Oh! I'll do it!" she exclaimed. Sunset Shimmer shrugged.

"Ok," she said. "If you're sure."

"Good, because we're almost there," Raw Data said. "I don't think we'll be able to get past the fence, but I don't think that matters. Twilight, you ready?"

"As ready as I'll ever be," she said. The rope they were using was in the backhood of the taxi, because Pinkie had somehow managed to fit several hundred meters of rope into it. As the backhood popped open and the rope began coming out, an alarm started blaring. Twilight's powers started extending the rope to almost its full length, and started going towards the beast.

"Pinkie, get ready for any openings, ok?" Raw Data said. The rope started wrapping itself around the legs of the beast, but it didn't seem to be doing anything. One of the legs that didn't get caught in the rope extended itself over the fence and just stepped on it. As it lifted again, bits of fence were still stuck to its foot and a bit of its leg. Suddenly Pinkie exclaimed "I got it!" and lunged out of the car, and started running towards the leg.

"Pinkie, stop!" Sunset Shimmer yelled after her. "What are you doing?"

"I've got an idea!" Pinkie yelled back. "Don't worry, I'll be fine!" As she finished saying that, the rope wrapped around the legs of the beast finally snapped, and it continued forward. Pinkie had managed to jump onto the beasts leg, and was climbing up it, fast, towards only Pinkie knew where. As the beast continued toward the facility, armed guards ran out and aimed very advanced looking guns at it. Pinkie had left their field of view, and was hopefully ok.

"Aim!" They heard someone yell out. "Fire!" The guard started firing beams of light towards the beast, but nothing happened. No damage was visible.

"That thing's invincible," Raw Data muttered. Suddenly an addition claw came out of the back of the beast and swatted at the guards.

"What's happening in there?" Sunset Shimmer asked.

Meanwhile, what Pinkie was doing would probably get her killed if she did it incorrectly. She had guessed that the machine was invincible. On the outside. But on the inside, it was still quite vulnerable. So, she had a plan. She had managed to get into the machine, and was now waiting in what she was sure was the misile holding room.

"Ah, mister author, I know what you have planned!" she said. "Burrow will only bring in one nuclear warhead at a time, because he's afraid he'll drop it and set it off." As she finished saying that, said nuclear warhead rolled into room. "Don't worry, this is your first big fight scene! You'll get better!" She stuck her hand into her pocket and rummaged around for a few seconds before pulling it back out. She was holding a timer. She set the time to five minutes, put it on the warhead, and started to run.

Back outside, the guards had all been knocked unconscious, and the claw had grabbed another warhead. As it brought that warhead into an unseen hole in the beast, Pinkie appeared on the top of it. She pointed at the car, and suddenly, she was standing right in front of it. Raw Data jumped in suprise.

"How did you do that?" he asked. "Actually, never mind." Twilight, Sunset Shimmer and Rarity snickered.

"Don't worry, darling, you get used to it," Rarity said. Pinkie climbed into the car.

"Go, go, go!" she exclaimed. "One of them is going to go off in four minutes!" Everyone gasped.

"Pinkie, are you why it's going off?" Twilight asked. Pinkie nodded. "Are you crazy? That will kill us all!"

"Don't worry, the skin is invincible," Pinkie said. "The insides will be pretty much completely destroyed though."

"What about Ultrabyte?" Raw Data asked. "She's still in there!" Pinkie paused for a few seconds.

"Doesn't the magnet trap have long range?" she asked.

"Yes, but what about the mind control thing?" Twilight asked. "That's still a problem."

"We'll cross that bridge when we get there," Raw Data said. "Now activate it!" Twilight flipped a switch on the top of the canister, and it glowed white. She aimed the bottom at the beast. A few seconds past and nothing happened.

"Shouldn't Ultrabyte be zooming towards us right now?" Pinkie asked.

"Wait for it," Twilight said. "Wait for it." And the beast shuddered to a stop. It paused completely, it's claw still holding a nuclear warhead in it. The beast shuddered several times before its eyes started glowing. The bright pink light increased and suddenly, it shot out in a ball of bright pink light, towards the car, and hit the canister. It flung Twilight into the opposite window, hitting Sunset Shimmer and Pinkie as she did so. The canister was now glowing bright pink. For several seconds, everything was still and peaceful. Then the beast started moving again. It turned towards the car, and started stomping towards it.

"Go!" Pinkie yelled. Raw Data floored the gas pedal, and the car zoomed forward. Unfortunately, it was facing the machine, so for a few seconds, that's where it was headed. But Raw Data was turning the wheel, and the car turned with it, until it was facing away from the beast. However, the beast was shuddering now. It was definitely malfunctioning. And it was because of Pinkie's bomb. Metal started creaking, legs groaned, and it started to collapse. By some kind of miracle, none of the nuclear energy actually made it out, which was good, but still a little freaky. It fell like the A.T A.T that was tripped on Hoth in Star Wars, its head hitting the ground first. As the rest of the body hit the ground, it sent up a massive cloud of dust. For a few seconds, they were completely blind. As the dust started to clear, everyone strained their eyes to see if the beast had fallen. As the outline became clear, they gasped. It had, ideas, fallen. And it didn't spear to be moving.

"You did it," Raw Data said. "Pinkie, you destroyed it!" Everyone started clapping for Pinkie, while she blushed.

"Ah, you don't have to clap," she said. "The important thing is that we got Ultrabyte back." Everyone turned to look at the pick glowing canister.

"Speaking of which, we should get home. We need to free Ultrabyte from her mind control," Raw Data said.

"Oh! Start the car, and we can travel by map!" Pinkie exclaimed. Everyone groaned.

"Really, Pinkie?" Rarity asked. "Please don't."

"Aww, why not?" Pinkie asked. "It takes much less time, and it gives the author less to write if he uses a break and needs to fill the readers in!"

"I understood none of that, it does take less time," Raw Data. "And we do need to get back to Canterlot City."

"Yeah, we don't want any government agents coming to and thinking that we were the cause of that beast thing," Sunset Shimmer said. "Especially with us, the known magic users, and me, the one with a bit of a criminal record here." Twilight nodded.

"She dies have a point," she said. "Besides, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy and our families must be going crazy trying to find us."

"Ok, then it's official," Pinkie said. "We travel by map! Raw Data, you can drive wherever, but we'll be there by the end of the minute." Raw Data started driving forwards, and as Pinkie said, the travel by map thing happened again. By the end of the minute, they were back in Canterlot City, near Raw Data's house. He turned and faced the others.

"Well, I'll drop you off at your homes," he said. "Where do you girls live?"

Activating the organic repurposing machine

View Online

2 days had passed since the defeat of Burrow, and everything was going back to normal. It was now Saturday, and the matter repurposing machine was done. Fortunately, Raw Data had some help when it came to getting old, unused organic matter. Probably the biggest help was when Applejack one of the girls friends, brought in an old, dead tree. That had been difficult getting down to the basement. Everyone helped putting in the chopped up wood into the repurposing slot. However, it turned out that there was a little bit too much organic matter, and Ultrabyte and Raw Data were talking about what to do with it.

"It needs to go somewhere!" Raw Data said. "And I'm guessing that you don't want it to go to your stomach or head."

Well, come on! Ultrabyte complained. It's either my boobs or my butt. I was already fine with the size that they were! They're already big enough.

"I know you were, but it still needs to go somewhere!" Raw Data said. He and the other girls were wearing the Multipurpose Headgear.

"I could take the extra!" Pinkie said seductively.

Yeah, why don't we do that? Ultrabyte asked.

"Can we do that?" Raw Data asked.

Of course we can, Ultrabyte said. I included that feature just in case this happened.

"Well, ok then," Raw Data said. "I guess we give Pinkie the extra."

"Yay!" Pinkie exclaimed.

"Well, Ultrabyte, are you ready?" Raw Data asked. "Because the repurposing machine is ready."

Yes, I'm ready, Ultrabyte said. I'll transfer over to the repurposing machine, and then on my mark, you can start it.

"And how fast will this take?" Twilight asked. She had been extremely excited by all the things that Ultrabyte had brought, and the grand prize was the repurposing machine.

Well, since all the trees matter have been broken down into a literal gene pool, it'll take a lot less time than if we didn't let it, Ultrabyte said. But, it will take approximately an hour or so. Don't worry, after that Pinkie can go in and add the excess genetic matter to wherever it is that she wants it. Pinkie giggled.

"Oh, I think you know where," she said.

Anyway, because of all this excitement that Twilight is showing, you can watch the process through the window, Ultrabyte said.

"What window?" Twilight asked.

Hang on a second, Ultrabyte said. I can make this bit transparent. Everyone stared at the repurposing machine. And suddenly, a section of one of the sides started to disappear!

"You're doing that?" Sunset Shimmer asked. "That is awesome."

Yes, yes it is, Ultrabyte said. Now, if you want to watch, and that's including you too, Raw Data, if you want to watch, you can watch. Raw Data's face was full of surprise.

"You'd be ok with me watching?" he asked.

Yes. Now, if no one minds, can you press the button? Ultrabyte asked. Raw Data smiled and nodded. Good. Now, I'll not be able to talk while my new body is getting made, so don't expect me to respond to anything. Also, after Raw Data presses the button, don't press anything else, ok? Pinkie, I'm looking at you. Everyone giggled.

"Don't worry, I won't," Pinkie said.

Then in that case, Raw Data, will you press the button? Raw Data's hand was already on the button, so when Ultrabyte said to do it, Raw Data pressed down. Immediately, the machine whirled to life. Raw Data, along with everyone else, looked inside the machine and saw a bunch of little arms spraying white stuff into a specific area. First, at the top, was what looked like the brain. At first, it was very misty looking, but it began to become more and more solid looking. After a few minutes of spraying the brain, it must have been done, because the arms started spraying elsewhere. The skeleton's misty form started becoming clear.

"Hey, do you have any snacks?" Pinkie asked. Raw Data nodded.

"What do you want?" he asked. Pinkie shrugged.

"Whatever you have, really," she said. Raw Data went to grab a chip bag. When he returned and looked into the machine, he could see the beginnings of intestines being formed. He handed the chip bag to Pinkie. For the next hour, they watched Ultrabyte's body being formed. Raw Data turned away with a blush when the final layer of skin started to form. And finally, it was done. The machine started ringing, and a door popped open. Raw Data looked at the machine again. Ultrabyte fell out, and landed on her face, her butt raised in the air. For a few seconds, everything was silent. Then Ultrabyte gasped and started to move. Or try to, anyway. She started raising herself from the ground, but collapsed.

"It's done," they could hear her say. "I have a body again!" She started raising herself again, and this time, she was successful in raising her torso from the ground, displaying her boobs, so of course, Raw Data looked away again.

"I need food," Ultrabyte said. "Is that a chip bag?" Pinkie handed her the chip bag, and Ultrabyte dove into what little amount of chips there where. Once she was done with it, she looked back up at everyone else. Raw Data still had his back turned.

"Darling, I have some clothes that you simply must try on!" Rarity suddenly gushed. "Raw Data was right, you are extremely pretty!" Ultrabyte blushed.

"Thank you," she said. She looked down at herself. "I do need clothes. Where are they?" Rarity moved to her left and gestured at a pile of clothes lying on a small table.

"Don't worry, they're free of charge," Rarity said.

"Oh, they're bueatiful!" Ultrabyte said. "Thank you! Hey, someone help me stand up." Pinkie and Twilight stepped up and each grabbed Ultrabyte under each arm, and lifted up. Ultrabyte's legs were to weak to support her, so Twilight and Pinkie helped her 'walk' towards the clothes (it was closer to dragging Ultrabyte, but at least she was sort of using her legs). Ultrabyte started reaching towards one of the bras.

"I'm glad you like them," Rarity said. "I can help you put them on, if you like." Ultrabyte had already unhooked it and was starting to put it on.

"Oh, I think I only need help with my panties and pants," Ultrabyte said. She grabbed a shirt and started slipping that on, with Pinkie and Twilight repositioning their holds on her. And after, they started helping with her pants. Her shirt was light grey, and her pants were a shiny bronze color.

"Ok, Raw Data, I'm decent," Ultrabyte said. Raw Data turned around. And he froze.

"Wow, those are good clothes," he said. He smiled. "How does it feel to finally have a phisical body again?"

"Hungry, mostly," Ultrabyte said. Her stomach gurgled, almost like it was proving a point.

"Well then, time to get you some food," Raw Data said. "And some muscle training."

Epilogue

On Monday, Raw Data was able to get Ultrabyte enrolled, with help from Twilight and Sunset Shimmer (Pinkie would've helped,,but she had used the excess organic material to enlarge her boobs and butt, and was now getting looks from everybody). Of course, they had to tell Principal Celestia about Ultrabyte's background, and about the past week. Of course, Principal Celestia asked about the ability some more.

"Are you able to train others?" she asked. Ultrabyte nodded.

"Of course," she said. "Although, if we could find Burning Brilliance, it might be easier." Principal Celestia's eyebrow rose.

"The guy who worked with the military?" she asked.

"He was forced to," Ultrabyte said defensively. "Besides, there is no way that they people who trapped me are still together."

"Yes, because of General Burrow's death," Principal Celestia said. "You still haven't said much about your battle with him." Ultrabyte shrugged.

"One of the nuclear bombs went off inside of the E.X.T.I.N.T.I.O.N, and that triggered a chain reaction. There is no way that Burrow survived," Ultrabyte said. "Unless this were a movie, but that movie would have a hard time explaining why a man survived several blasts in a small area full of nuclear energy."

"Uh-huh," Principal Celestia said. "Well, as long as you don't tick anyone else in the government off, and maybe teach some of the other students to put themselves into their computers, welcome to Canterlot High!"
