> Chapter 1 - New Student

In the night time, a moving van was parked onto a new house, filled with boxes scattered across the garage. A moving truck was parked next to the side and movers were carefully lifting up the furniture to the new house The car door open and a man, having a young but gruff and matured look, sighed happily.

"Well, welcome to our new home of the city of Canterlot Town." he said while gave a bright smile "It's been a while since I moved back to my old home town. I can't believe everything changes since I moved with my parents as a kid."

A woman, being a gentle yet firm and brave, came to him and gave a kiss on his cheek "I can't believe that your parents allow you to buy their old house, Time Break ."

He nodded "Yeah, even though it was old, it still holds some precious memories, River Wave."

She smiled at her husband then noticed that someone is missing.

"Oh right, I forgot," he turned to the moving truck "Chrono, c'mon, check out our new house."

Coming out of the van is a red hair young boy, wearing a red shirt with a gear like symbol with a flame on the middle and a brown khaki pants that was bagged along with his black shoes. He gave a unimpressed look while walking with his hand on his pocket.

"So this is where we going to live?" he asked.

"Yep, our grandparents' house. Since we got a call from Canterlot Science Team to have another interview, they were lucky to give us this house so we can live there and hope we can finally land on that job."

"If not, then it'll be a waste." he muttered, looking away as River came to him and hug him.

"Oh sweetie, it's going to be okay, we'll going to make sure we get this job. And we promise, no more moving town to town, okay? Beside, you're going to make so many new friends." she said and he just nodded.

"Okay so we just need to get the boxes in and then we can rest for the day. Chorno, in the meanwhile, I already met up with the principal of the new school, Canterlot High. She got the forms ready so you'll be going to school tomorrow."

"Canterlot High? Why not Crystal Prep Academy?" Chrono asked.

Time Break shook his head "No way you're going to that school filled with snoobish and mean looking students who cares about success. Trust me, being there and hate it. Canterlot High is the place where I graduated and one of my dearest school I went when I was your age."

"If you boys are done, then we need to get the stuff inside!" River called them and they headed to the van to pick up boxes to the new house. Chrono just gaze at the clear blue skies and memories of him moving town to town, not having long lasting friendships, and feeling empty.

It's just going to end up like the usual. Friendship is nothing but a wasteful thought. The only thing matters is my machines. My Gundams who always there and will continue that way. 





Morning came and Chrono woke up in his new room. There was shelves and tables on the side but there are still boxes on the other side. Groaning, he came to the bathroom and brush teeth in the bathroom. Once dressed up to his usual clothes, he walked down the stairs where his parents are eating some bacon and eggs.

"Morning." he said with a emotionless tone. 

"Morning, Chrono." their parents said and he sat down where he got a paper plate and start eating. His parents sat down with him and they tried to have a conversation, but only silence was filled since Chrono just eating the food and not talking. 

Time Break coughed a bit, trying to break the ice "So Chrono, do you know who you're supposed to meet?"

"Principal Celestia?" he said "Is she an old friend of yours?"

"Yep, she was the reason I able to get you to attend this school." he gave a smile but dropped upon him having a emotionless look. He sighed "Look, I know you're feeling upset about this but like your mother said, we're going to get this job and we promise that we will never move around states again."

Her mother interject "Yes, so in the meanwhile, try to make new friends and-"

"I don't need new friends nor want any." Chrono said as he sat up and put the paper plates and plastic forks in the trash "I only need is my machines."

"Sweetie, you can't live your life with only your kits forever. You need to make new friends, because-"

"I'm going to get my stuff ready." he interrupted and goes back upstairs. 

Both of their parents gave a sad sighed. Since they been moving house to house, state to state, friendship is hard for Chrono embrace not after he never get the chance to make long lasting friendship.

"Oh, I hope the school can help him with our mistakes, Time Break." River said to her husband "At this rate, he'll be no longer be the happy and cheerful son we know and love and it'll be much difficult for him should he grow up."

"I know, but we had to. Beside, Principal Celestia said there's a group of people who can help him. I just hope they can help him too. If not......." he sighed and place his hands on his face. "Oh god, we just want a job and a normal life here. We got to get this position so we can make sure we can finally stay here."

River nodded and Chrono came down with his backpack ready. Time Break got out of the kitchen and both headed outside.





Before Movie Magic

At Canterlot High, all of the students were hanging outside while some are heading inside, doing their usual daily life around the school. It's has been a week after their trip to Camp Everfree and right now, they able to make enough money to repair the damage around the camp. 

Across the hallways to the music room, a harmonious music was heard as seven girls were playing a new song. From left to right a butter yellow girl with a soft pink hair with a white dress with a green skirt was playing tambourine, a cyan girl with a messy rainbow hair wearing a sport like clothing with a rainbow like skirt design was shredding her electric guitar, a lavender girl with a purple hair with dark purple and hot pink streaks tied to a ponytail wearing a dress consist of a pink dress covered a blue dress with a purple skirt was in tune of the song, a peach girl with a blond hair tied to a ponytail wearing a hat and have a southern western style was also playing a guitar, from the middle, a light pink girl with a puffy hair that shaped to that of a cotton candy with a colorful dress was drumming the beats of the music, a snow white girl with a curly hair and a elegant dress was playing the keytar, and a orange girl with a red and yellow hair streaks of a sunlight with a jacket covered her clear light green dress was also in tune with the music. Those seven girls are the Rainbooms consist of Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Sunset Shimmer.

Once they end the music with a beat, they cheered at the song they played.

"I got to say Fluttershy, you really outdone yourself with the song you made." Twilight said.

"Oh, thanks, I just had to find a lot of inspirations to get the song turned out." Fluttershy said.

"Well whatever you did, we are awesome with that!" Rainbow said "We should play that in case for the next Canterlot Musical Showcase!"

Applejack rolled her eyes "As long we don't have any of the magical stuff happening then we should be fine."

"And gives me time to get some new ideas for our new dress." Rarity said earning a sighed from Applejack but hold a smile.

"What's wrong with the ones we wore from the previously Musical Showcase?" Rainbow asked. "I look amazing in that."

"As much as I like the ones we wear, I like to make new variants of it. Beside, having the same would be dull continuous." 

"Just as long as you don't overwork yourself, Rarity." Sunset said.

"Speaking of which, we should head back to class soon." Twilight said as they glance at the clock. 

"And speaking of which, Sunset and I have art class on that day! I got some ideas after the song we played!" Pinkie said, earning smiles from her friends. Then her body begin to shake a bit along with her hair fizzed out.

"Pinkie what's wrong?" Sunset asked.

"I just have a strange feeling that we're going to get a new student coming here and a moody one at that!" Pinkie said, earning odd glance from them.

"Let me guess, you're Pinkie Sense told you about that?" Applejack asked and the bubby cheerful girl nodded.

"How you can know when a new student come?" Twilight asked, being a rational one.

"It's better if you just go with the flow Pinkie said." Sunset said "Trust me, Princess Twilight tried that and well........ let's just say, even she find the answer for that and it just drive her nuts."

Twilight nodded then a voice com was heard from the clock.

"Sunset Shimmer, please report to the Principal Office for a tour for a new student." Vice Principal Luna said over the coms of the speaker.

"Told you!" Pinkie said.

"In the meanwhile, we should head to class and meet up after school." Sunset said as she exited out of the music room with the others gathering their stuff and exit out.





In the Principal's office, Chrono sat down quietly while he Time Break explain to his old friend, Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna. After a few talk, he got up and gave a smile.

"Don't worry, you'll love it here." Time Break said as he exit out of the office leaving him alone with the two principals.

"All right, now since class is already started, your schedule will start tomorrow so until then, a student will give you around the school." Principal Celestia said only receive a silent nod. 

"So is it true you and dad knew each other from teenage years?" Chrono asked though in a monotone voice.

"We were classmate and friend. He always love coming here because of his interested in time base science." Principal Celestia said.

'Knock! Knock!'

"Come in." As the door opens, Chrono take glance at the student and for strange reason, his heart is beating faster upon first glance. A orange girl with a hair colored with red and yellow streaks wearing a black jacket and a beautiful light green dress. 

'Okay, what's going on?' he thought and shaken those unnecessary thought out of him. 

"You wish to see me, Principal Celestia?" Sunset asked. 

"Yes," Principal Celestia point at Chrono "This is Chrono Flare, a new student who will be attending tomorrow so I was hoping if you can give him a tour across the campus?"

Sunset nodded then turned Chrono with a warmest smile then reach out her hand. "Hello, I'm Sunset Shimmer."

Chrono gave a cold glance then shook it "Chrono Blaze."

"Chrono Blaze? Interesting name." Sunset said "Anyway, I'll show you across the campus."

Chrono only nodded and both left the office.

"Sister, you think that Sunset and her friends can reach out to Chrono?" Vice Principal Luna asked and Principal Celestia sighed.

"I have faith that she and her friends can do it." Principal Celestia said "If Time Break went the trouble of ask us for this, then I can't turn back on my old friend's request."





"So this is the computer lab," Sunset point to the room of the hallway while Chrono was glance at the direction she's pointing "the's the science class on the left, next the Music Room, and from the two doors on left, the Algebra class, the art class, and the calculus class." He only nodded silently, taken glance at the room. At least, he can know where to go for tomorrow's class.

"Oh right," Sunset said and she show him on the wall, a poster of the upcoming Canterlot High Musical Showcase "We're about to do the second Canterlot High Musical Showcase on December at Camp Everfree."

"Musical Showcase?" Chrono asked.

"Yeah, it's where most of the students participate to play their own tunes. My friends and I were practicing for it."

Chrono nodded silently.

"Maybe you should go there too. I'm sure you love to particpa-"

"Not interested." he said in a monotone tone.

"How come?" Sunset asked.

"Just a waste." He said and he walked away to the front, leaving her alone.

'What's with his problem?' Sunset wondered of his attitude before the school bells rang for the end of the day.





On his way back home, Chrono open the door and laid his stuff down then climb up to his room and laid on the bed. Since his parents were on a interview for Canterlot Science University, his parents left him some food on the table. Notice that he didn't ate anything, he warm it up on the microwave and eat alone on the table. 

His lips was curved into a deep frown and memories begin to swirled up, triggering his emotions.

'It's stupid.' a young boy was attending a elementary school and having friends. 'Life is nothing but a waste just like friendship.' another memory of him moving out to another country with his parents. 'I tried to have hope, but...' another shows him of having a soft smile with his new friends, but changed to that of his parents and himself moving to another country 'Having it cause nothing but pain and I can't hold those I want to be my friends.' He was shown to cry a lot on his bed, throwing a tantrum at his growth of his teen age 'It will be just the same; I'll move to another place and so forth because my damn parents can never get a hold on a job! I learned that truth, from everything that, the only thing matters is yourself, no one else and friendship and family are a waste of time.'

He glance at his model kit and hold one of them 'And you guys are the only thing I can rely on. My Gundams, my machines, no one else.'


Opening
> Chapter 2 - The Cold Hearted Loner

Chrono's school day has started and he woke up from his bed. Brushing his teeth and getting dressed and gather his supplies into his backpack, he headed down where his parents are cooking breakfast.

"Oh, good morning, Chrono." River Bend said.

"Morning mom." he said, still having his monotone voice "Morning Dad."

"Good morning, Chrono, so how's school yesterday?" Time Break asked while River Bend place some toast and eggs with soy sauce on the yolk.

"It was fine, just got a tour around class. Nothing special." he said while taking bites of it.

"So Chrono, Principal Celestia told me about a Musical Showcase that's coming next month. I was thinking if you can-" Time Break's sentence was interrupted when Chrono said the same thing to Sunset Shimmer.

"I'm not interesting in going. It's a waste."

"But honey, don't you think you should at least make some new fri-"

"No. Not interested in it." Chrono replied with somewhat of a firm.

"Chrono, please, we don't want you to miss out on anything that Canterlot High can offer-"

"Dad, please, it's a waste to go to any events that this school going to offer me nor of making friends. I'm happy to be alone with my machines and that's final." Chrono said before putting his empty plate into the sink and wash it. He headed to the door. "I got to go now. See ya."

With the door close, both of them sighed, knowing how Chrono can be stubborn on his choice.

"Honey, I don't know if we can able to live here, not with what have become of our son." River Bend worriedly about the situation.

"I don't want to move anymore. We're on a close to a tight budget during our job hunt and if we don't get this job, then we had to take other jobs as the only way to go to get enough financial support for it." Time Break said.

"And what would happen if Chrono remains like that?" River Bend asked, not wanting to know the answer.

"I'm afraid that we'll lose more than our chance, we lose him forever." Time Break said and glance at the window. Celestia, please, bring Chrono, our true Chrono, back from his empty void. Losing him in the state he is now, can mean the end of everything. As for us, we got to have faith. Faith that we can get a job for our living and our careers.





Walking down to Canterlot High was something that Chrono can easily get through despite the busy street of Canterlot Downtown. Upon arriving there, he enter the building and walking silently. Most of the students take noticed and give them a simple 'Hello' or 'Hey' but he shrugged them out, just only focused on getting to the principal office to pick up his schedule.

Once he reached there, he gave a knocked on the door. A voice simply said 'Come in' and he enter the principal office where Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna are waiting for him.

"Ah, Chrono, good thing you're here. I trust that the tour that Sunset give you helps you around the building?" Principal Celestia said which he shrugged.

"It's only necessary if I'm going to attend here." he replied.

Ignoring the monotone, Principal Celestia gave him the class schedule "Here are your class schedule. From there you'll be going to Algebra on 1st period with Ms. Cheerlie and Calculus the 2nd with Mr. Cranky Doodle."

"Sounds fine, I can handle those." he said.

"And for 3rd and 4th, you have P.E. with Coach Bulk Biceps and Art class with Ms. Matlida then you'll have lunch break with the other students." 

Chrono nodded silently while Principal Celestia continues.

"5th and 6th, you have Reading with Mrs Harshwhinny and Science with Mr Discord."

"Okay, I got it the jits of it." he said, finishing reading the schedule and about to leave -

"Chrono?"

"Yes?" he asked, abit annoyed.

"We also have clubs you can attend. I suggest you attend one of them for your curriculum points." Vice Principal Luna said.

"What kind?" he asked and the vice principal gave the list of clubs. Skimming the page, Chrono was searching for any club he's interesting but gave it back to her.

"Sorry, but none of them interesting me. Now if you excuse me, I got to get to my class." he said and left the office.

"When Time Break said that Chrono was more cold hearted, even from his monotone, he was right. He seems difficult to interact with him." Vice Principal Luna commented, feeling uneasy.

"I know, but if there someone we know who can help him, it's them." Principal Celestia said and Vice Principal Luna nodded.





At the Algebra classroom, Twilight was helping Rainbow Dash with some of the algebra problems that she's having trouble with along with Rarity.

"I still can't over the fact of this question!" she groaned, having her brain hurt. "I read the textbooks faster and still can't get over it!!"

"Rainbow, if you must know, skimming page faster just to kill time isn't going to help you with the test coming next week." Rarity said.

"Algebra is not that hard to figure it out." Twilight points out the question and explaining the directions. Rainbow Dash sighed and follow her direction until she got it right.

"Uggh, my brain feels like jam just knowing this." she complained.

The door open and Chrono enter in, earning surprise look from the girls along with some other students and the silent loner sat down next to an empty desk on front.

"Who's that?" Rainbow asked only to get a shrugged from Twilight and Rarity. 

The bell rang and Ms. Cheerliee came in with papers stacked. 

"Good morning, class. Hope you studied your algebra because we're going to the next lesson for the upcoming test next week. But first," she glance at Chrono, just staring in a robotic like expression "We have a new student, so please would you stand up and introduce to yourself?"

Sighed, he got up and head to face the classroom. Most of the students have a bit of uneasy feel due to his monotone and robotic like expression especially his voice.

"My name is Chrono Blaze. I just move here this week and that's all I can say." 

"Um, Chrono?" Ms Cheerliee asked "Can you tell me anything about yourself?"

"Just being alone is fine." he replied before sat down back to his desk.

Rainbow leaned to Twilight "What's up with that guy? He's seems......" the sport captain tried to come up with answer "strange."

Twilight furrowed her eyebrow at her "Rainbow, please, don't make judgement on him. He's new in this school."

Rainbow sighed before Ms. Cheerliee begin lecture on a new Algebra method. When she show the problem, she asked one of the student to come up and solve it. Most of the student raise their hands but Ms Cheerliee picks Chrono Blaze since she want him to give a chance. He got out of his desk and see the problem. After a few minute of thinking, he wrote down the problem in a quick succession, earning surprise from the classroom.

"I'm impress, Chrono, how did you-?" Ms Cheerliee asked.

"Easy. I've done algebra before as a kid." he said before sat down in his desk. Even Twilight was impress of him especially Rarity.

The bell rang as most of the student leave the classroom with Ms. Cheerliee reminded them of their homework assignment.

"Chrono?" Ms. Cheerliee called him and he head to her table. She passed him a textbook "Here's your textbook for this class. I hope you know what homework assignment you need to do?" 

"Yeah, " he flipping to a certain page and mark it with a pen "I'll get it done before tomorrow."

With that, he leave the classroom and walking the hallways. He encounter two younger students, one a musty orange skin boy with green hair wearing a green shirt and a bright white pants, the other a boy in his age, grey skin and chubby with a burnt orange mohawk hair, wearing a black shirt with a scissor design and blue jeans.

"Um, excuse me, Chrono, sir?" the musty skin orange boy asked "I was wondering if you can help us with our math problems? You see, me and my friend Snips having trouble with-"

Chrono shoved them away, ignoring them, leaving them confused and a bit offended.

While looking around the hallway, a bright flash glare at him, causing him to cover his eye in annoyance. In front of him, a girl with a white hair and a cyan skin wearing a pink shade was holding a camera. Along with her, two other girls are holding what to appear to be camera or cosplay stuff.

"Oh, very nice! The glare of that look would good on my album!" the pink shade girl admire the picture of him.

"Who the hell are you?" Chorno asked, a bit of annoyance.

"I'm Photo Finish! I take pictures for Canterlot High Scrapbook or other special events! Since you're new here, consider this you first high school photo."

Chrono sighed and passed them but Photo Finish stop him.

"Hold it! I need to get more of you!" 

"Is it one picture is enough?" Chrono asked.

"No, no, no! Although, the first one is good, I want to see more side of you!" Photo Finish hold her camera and -

'Snap!'

Another bright light causing him be distorted and he place his left hand on a nearby locker.

"Okay, again!"

'Snap!'

Chrono cover his eyes from the glare.

"No, no, I need to see your face, now show me your handsome face!" 

'Snap!'

Chrono begin gritted his teeth at the endless snapshot that Photo Finish was taking.

'Snap!'

"Okay, one more-"

Chrono grabbed her camera with pierced eyes and snatch it away.

"You. Stop. Taking. Pictures. Of. Me!" Chrono roared and he smash the camera at the floor then smash on the ground. Photo Finish was shocked along with the other two other girls were too. The same for other students who never seen this kind of behavior that Chrono was displayed. 

"What's going on?" Twilight asked them along with Rainbow Dash and Rarity.

"Well, dudette, the new kid just smash Photo Finish's camera." Sandalwoods said.

"Wait, you mean Chrono Blaze?" Rarity asked and he nodded. She saw the broken wreckage of Photo Finish's camera and she was holding her camera in tears.

Chrono grunted and about to walk away-

"Hey! New Kid!"

Rainbow zipped pass them and block Chrono's way, with eyes bore daggers at him.

"Who do you think you are, smash someone else's stuff?! You have no right to do that!" Rainbow said but Chrono walked pass her. Annoyed that she was ignored, she blocked him again, only to aggravated him.

"Get. Out. Of. My. Way." Chrono growled.

"No way, not until you apologize to her!" Rainbow said.

"She's in my way. Now move." Chrono said.

"Oh yeah, and what you going to do about -" Rainbow sentence was interrupted as Chrono grab her arm and twist it, causing her to scream in pain.

"Hey, you can't do that to-"

"Don't care, now I appreciate if you. leave. me. alone." Chrono growled while pulling her arm, making her in pain more. Twilight and Rarity was about to rushed to stop him from hurting her friend, but he pushed her out of the way.

"The same for you and the rest." With that, Chrono walked away, leaving a empty silence filled only with sadness and dread that Chrono placed.

"Jerk...." Rainbow muttered while rubbing her arm.

"How dare that guy just break Photo Finish's camera like that?!" Rarity said, outraged at this "I'm going to report this to Principal Celestia about it."

Rainbow nodded and both headed but Twilight was still standing there.

"Chrono......" she place her hand on her chest as if she felt her heart ache at  something that's familiar.....something from her time in Crystal Prep.

"Twilight, c'mon!!" Rainbow called her and she look back once more before catching up with her friends.





Lunch time started as Twilight, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash told Sunset, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie about what happen. And from their looks, they were mixed feelings about this.

"You mean that this new student just broke Photo Finish's camera and also tried to hurt Rainbow Dash's arm?" Applejack trying to understand the situation.

"I'm afraid so, darling." Rarity sighed "From his tone, he's something that he's doesn't want to be messed with."

"But why?" Sunset asked.

"I wish I knew darling, but because of this, most of the students stayed away from him even gossiping about him." Rarity said.

"Maybe he just need some friends to help him be happy! Speaking of which, I got an idea on setting up a -" 

"Pinkie, I don't think this Chrono guy is party person so it's not a good idea to do it." Rainbow said.

"But parties always make anybody happy!"

"Well, not for him." Rainbow said and Pinkie groaned.

"So what happen to him?" Sunset asked.

"I told Principal Celestia about it. She's talking with him about his attitude." Rarity said. 

"You don't think he's going to be suspended?" Fluttershy asked.

"Well, can't say for sure especially what he did to Photo Finish and Rainbow Dash." Applejack said.

While the girls continue talking about Chrono, Twilight muttered "I don't think he's bad."

"Say what, Twilight?" Applejack heard her mumble.

"Chrono isn't bad, girls." Twilight glance at them "He's just hurt and lonely."

"Um, Twilight, he broke Photo Finish's camera and almost broke my arm." Rainbow pointed out "So he is bad."

"But don't you think there's a reason he's like that?" Twilight asked. The girls shrugged, don't have any answer for that.

"Twilight, darling, what make you think he's like that?" Rarity asked her friend.

"The way he's always want to be alone, I don't know but, for some reason, he reminded of myself when I was in Crystal Prep, before the Friendship Games start." Twilight said "When I was in that school, nobody ever bother pay attention to me because of how everyone was so focus into winning so I isolated myself to my studies. At least I should be grateful that the Friendship Games came by otherwise, I don't think I'll be able to meet you girls and transfer to this school."

The girls can understand what Twilight mean. If Chrono is somewhat similar to her when she was in Crystal Prep, then it means that he just need someone who need a friend to help him.

Just then, Chrono came in the lunchroom and most of the students' chatter died down upon arrive here. He silently walk to grab his lunch and walk around for a place to sit until he found a empty one from the far back of the lunchroom. He sat down and just eat his meal. The sound of student's chatter were into whispers and such, gossiping him. The same two boys came out of their seat with their lunch and sat down where Chrono is.

"Hiya, buddy!" Snips said and he glance at them "You don't mind if we sit with you?"

Chrono sighed "As long as you don't annoy me."

Snails nodded "Sure thing!"

Chrono take a big bite of his sandwich. Just after a little fight, Principal Celestia called him and she told him about his attitude. Although she was disappointed, she gave him a warning to not to do it again but she want him to apologize to Rainbow Dash and Photo Finish but he stated that they're nothing but 'pests' but willing to do it if he's comfortable with it. 

"So um, Chrono, right?" Snips asked "I was wondering if you can help us with our homework?"

"On what?" 

"Algebra." Snails show him the textbook "It's just we're having trouble with this method and since you able to do it quickly, maybe you can help us with it?"

"Show me." Chrono said and Snails grab the textbook. Upon reading the information, he sighed and begin explaining the method clearly. To show him, he grab his paper and giving them some examples on it. The two begin to understand him more clearly.

"Okay, you can use the notes I did as reference. I highly suggest you study it." Chrono said and finished with lunch, he begin to walk away, hands in pocket.

The girls were surprise at how Chrono interact with Snips and Snails without them making him angry. Sunset came to them.

"How come you're not afraid of him?" she asked.

"Well, why would be afraid of him?" Snips said.

"All we need is asking him so stuff." Snails said and the two young boys exited out of the lunchroom. The bells rang and everyone exited out of the lunchroom and headed to their respective classrooms.





After school was done, all of the student headed out of the door and either heading home or hanging out. Sunset and her friends exited out and meet up at the Canterlot High Statue. 

"All right, tomorrow we got a weekend and the best, going to Canterlot Hollywood Studio to check on the set for a Daring Do movie!!" Rainbow cheered.

"It's a good thing that Canter Zoom decide to invite us to it after the ball at Camp Everfree." Twilight said and the girls nodded. They are all excited about a tour around the movie studio coming for tomorrow. 

Just then, Chrono came out and begin to leave. Twilight decide to walk to him, despite their friends protest and came to him.

"Uh, hello, Chrono, we met at Algebra and Science class. I'm Twilight Sparkle. I hope that we can be good friends." she raise her hand and he check on his hand.

"What's wrong? All you have to do is to shake-"

"I don't want to because my hands are really dirty right now." he showed his hands dirty which Twilight was surprised at his consideration to her and she blush a bit.

"Oh, I'm sorry if-"

"Whatever, that only means that you and me aren't on equal terms to begin with nor being friends with each other. The same for your friends too." he bluntly said, shocking her and her friends. He then walk away leaving her, clench her arm, feeling bad and her friends confront her with Applejack, Rarity, Sunset, and Rainbow glare at him.

"Okay, now I can understand why this Chrono guy is bad as sour lemons." Applejack said.

"Indeed, just as we thought there's some goodness in him, he just turn down to our friend!" Rarity said. "And stated that we're not on equal terms despite Twilight trying to."

"I guess you're right, girls." Sunset sighed "Guess sometimes there are others that don't need friendship."

"Still," Twilight sighed "why does he help Snips and Snails on their homework at lunch?"

"Probably trying to make sure they get away from him." Rainbow said.

The girls, except Twilight, nodded and they start heading back home. Twilight was walking back to her home and glance at the direction Chrono was heading.

'Chrono.....why are you acting like this? Why? You must have a good reason to act like this.' Twilight thought and headed back inside.





Chrono walked inside back home and he saw his parents cooking up dinner.

"Hi, Mom. Hi Dad." he set his stuff down on the side.

"Chrono, my old friend, Celestia called me and said that you got in a fight and broke someone's else camera? Is it true?" Time Break asked, feeling a bit stern.

"Yes, it's true." Chrono said.

"Chrono, why did you do that?" River Bend asked "You know you can't break someone's stuff. And you shouldn't be causing a fight in Canterlot High."

"They're in my way." Chrono stated "They're nothing but pests that needed to be remove."

"Chrono, that's no way to act like this in front of your parents!" Time Break said.

"Says for the one who took what I used to be away! I have given up on friendship ever since we move around the states! And if you two aren't able to get a job, then it's nothing but a waste like making friends that won't last forever!" Chrono yelled, having his anger exploded. His parents were left speechless and he headed to his room.

He lock the doors and yelled in anger. Swiping his stuff away, he laid his bed and from his anger, tears begin to spilled on his eyes. 

I know what's real. People are meant to be alone. Friendship and Family are nothing but a wasteful thought and I seen everything that happens. Now I know what I must do. So I can forever be away from this world. his mind clouded with so much sorrow and suicidal. 

After dinner and everyone is asleep, Chrono sneak downstairs and pack his clothes, some food, and his savings.  He then grab his Gunpla kits and place on his bag.

Sorry Mom, Dad, but I'm done. Done living in this world. Now I can find my own place to live without anyone. he open his window and once he's on the other side, he close the window and climb down. He begin walking towards Canterlot Town and while there's some people are still up, most of the stores are closed. He look around until he found a empty building away from the town and almost to the mountains.

Perfect. The place that will be my home. he climb the gates and making sure that no one is watching, he enter it and close the door, leaving him in total darkness.

After Movie Magic 

The next week of class has just begun and the Rainbooms headed back inside, feeling happy on their weekend. Sometimes after stopping Juniper Montage from ruining the movie set for the Daring Do movie, they got the chance to be part of the small roles of it. Rainbow was talking non stop about it along with Rarity, commenting on how they are the roll on being movie stars, despite Applejack stated that they got small roles. 

As soon as they about to enter inside, they heard crying from the Principal office. Notice this, they enter inside to see Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna confront Time Break and River Bend, crying.

"Principal Celestia, Vice Principal Luna, what's going on?" Sunset asked.

"I am afraid that Chrono Blaze ran away from home and went missing." Vice Principal Luna said.

"WHAT?!" all of the girls shouted. They couldn't believe this. Chrono Blaze is missing even on the second day of school?

"I don't understand, what happens to him?" Applejack asked.

"I don't know, but all we know is that River Bend and Time Break were just trying to be the parents they need to be only for Chrono to yell at them for the faults they did and sometimes at midnight, he ran away from his parents and went missing." Principal Celestia said.

"What faults?" Twilight asked.

"I'm sorry but we can't let you girls get involve in personal matters." Vice Principal Luna said.

"Please at least tell me!" Twilight said, "I know that Chrono wasn't a friendly person when we first met, but I know that I want to help him."

"But why?" Principal Celestia asked.

"Because I felt that we're not that different since he reminded me of my time in Crystal Prep," she said. 

Just as Vice Principal Luna about to speak, Time Break place his hand on her shoulder and gave a nod. Stepping back, he heads to her. 

"You must want to help our son, don't you?" he asked and she nodded "I knew that one day there will be others that we need our help with our son."

The rest of the Rainbooms came to her and Rainbow asking "So why does Chrono was acting all mean to other people?"

River Bend sighed "He wasn't like this. In fact, from what we know, he's such a friendly person. He always cares about his friends so much and willing to be open up. But that all changes when our first job that our wife and I worked was losing business as a result, we lost our job along with other people that were working. To make sure that we can find a new one, we begin moving states to find new jobs but so far we haven't found any. And Chrono, he tried to make friends but whenever we move, he doesn't get the chance to have a long friendship with anybody in every school we place him. As as a result, he was in so much despair and lost that he give up on making friends and became the person he is now."

The girls were shocked, to say the least. Chrono's parent was struggling to find a place to live and get a job around the state and Chrono felt lost and giving up on friendship. 

"Poor Chrono......" Fluttershy said.

"I can't believe that such a sad story!" Pinkie said while wiping her tears with a napkin.

"Golly, I'm sorry that you have to go such harsh times." Applejack said.

"It's fine, but we hope that not only we find a job here but we thought if he finds friends here...."

"It would return him back to his true self?" Sunset replied and they nodded.

"Only problem is whenever you two get hired it would be difficult to earn the finance for your home and such," Twilight said.

"Right, but right now, our son is missing." River Bend holds Twilight's hand "Please find our son. He's all that left in our life."

The girls glance at each other but nodded. Sure that Chrono wasn't friendly when they first met him, but now they finally know the reason, they can at least do their part in finding him.

"Well we don't know where to find him, but you can count on us to find him." Applejack said.

"Yeah, besides, if we find him, all he needs to be happy and not moody all the time!" Pinkie said.

"At first that I thought he was a rude person, but giving the fact of that reason, we'll do our best to find him."  Rarity said.

"Although I don't like what he did to our friends in school, I know that he needs someone to help him," Fluttershy said.

"Well, even though he tried to hurt me, I do my part too." Rainbow sighed.

"Don't worry, we'll find Chrono," Sunset said and Twilight nodded.

"Thank you, girls. Thank so much."  Time Break smiled for their willingness to find Chrono. He was right. There are others willing to help him and be friends to Chrono.

After Chrono's parents left, the girls headed back to class. With him gone, things are normal for students in CHS, but for the Rainbooms, it's not a happy thing to be happy.





A sunlight was glaring at Chrono's face and he groaned and got up. Waking up to an empty and old building, he stretches a bit and walks around it. Judging from the place, it looks to be a motel that was closed down for demolition. Everything was a bit rotten as splinters of woods were sticking out anywhere, walls were covered in oil, floors are stable but he can hear creaking every time he step on, believing it might break, beds were torn and dirty along with pillows and blankets. He walks to the bathroom and only that it was all but partly destroyed. The toilet was still working despite being broken along with the cracked up sink and shower. 

"It's not much but it'll do," he muttered to himself. 

Feeling his stomach growling, he grabbed his bag and ate some of the chicken he took from the fridge back at home. Taken a big bite of his meal, he sighed and glance at the broken window but stop himself from going to it.

No. I don't want anyone to find me. he thought and notice a small wedge hole on it along with eye holes too. He places his eyes on it and sees some of the people doing their daily business. 

He sat down and begin with thinking until -

"Are you going to live in this dump?" a voice was heard and sighed and a red transparent version of himself appeared.

"I made my choice, I'm done living in this world," he muttered.

"But you're born in this world, you can't just leave where there are so many things you can do!" the transparent version of himself. "Look, I know things have been hard for you moving places to places but you got to have hope!"

"Hope is nothing but fleeting dreams. I saw what the world is, other me! And I know now the only I can do is live here and rot away." Chrono argued. "That's the only thing that I can do."

"No, whatever whisper in your head, you need to fight it!" 

"I tried and yet that I tried to prevent have come. So I have no choice but to accept it and live here."

"And what about your parents? And those 7 girls?" Other Chrono asked.

"They're a waste, only in my way. " Chrono replied.

"No, they're not! They're trying to bring you in to bring happiness and you just throw them away?!" Other Chrono retorted "What happens to the Chrono I know? The one who believes in friendship and family? The kind and caring person?"

"The me you know is gone! And it'll stay that way!" Chrono said only for his other self is gone.

Chrono sat down and sighed. 

'I don't get why my other half wants me to go back? I saw what the world is and the only thing matter is to be away from that world.' Chrono's mind echoed. 

Knowing that he just needs to go out, he looks around for anything he needs. So far, he found a dirty sunglasses, a hat, and bandanna. Placing the glasses on his eyes, wrapped the bandanna to cover his face, and a hat to hide his hair, he nodded but found a dirty jacket and wear it. Slowly, he carefully got out of the back door and jump the back gate where no one else sees and begins walking around.





The beginning of Mirror Magic

The girls headed to the Canterlot Mall after school was done. So far, they haven't found Chrono anywhere but decide to take a break from finding him and begin to head to the food court while also exciting for the premiere of the Daring Do movie. While the girls order their food, Sunset sat down and begin writing her magical journal to her friend back at Equestria, Princess Twilight Sparkle.

'Dear Princess Twilight,

Tonight's the night of the big movie premiere. All of my friends are really exciting, and I should be, right? Except I can't seem to get over my mind on anything other than our new powers, and the rouge magic loses in this world and how scary but exhilarating is all is and a new student went missing. Yesterday, there's a new student name Chrono Blaze who move here and attend Canterlot High. But he wasn't very friendly to anyone especially being a loner. But today, he went missing on the second day of school. His parents told him about him and it turns out, he lost his belief of friendship because of his parent's job hunt all over the states. He wasn't a bad person, just felt lonely and hurt. Your counterpart sense that and want to help him because of how he was reminded of her back at Crystal Prep Academy days. How can we prepare for anything that's coming? When will it show up again?  For Chrono, if we do find him, how do we restore him back to his true self? How do we get him to believe the magic of friendship? Well that's the problem, finding him will be difficult, but with the weight of the problems on your shoulder you must have some advice on how to-'

But she stops when she saw that she's on the last page and filled.

"Oh no, shoot!" she sighed.

"What's the matter Sunset?" Pinkie asked, holding a tray of burgers.

"Oh, I just ran out of pages of my journal. That's all." Sunset said, trying to not let her know of her problems.

"Chillax, Sunshim. " Rainbow said with her meals on the tray.

The rest of the girls came back with their meals and take their seats.

"Um, who's 'Sunshim?'" Fluttershy asked.

"That's Sunset's new movie star name." Rainbow take a sip of her drink "I just made it up."

"Oh sweet apple' sake, we only have bit parts of the movie. We're not movie stars." Applejack pointed out.

"Yet, Applejack. Yet." Rarity said, with a hint of excitement.

Twilight turned to Sunset "There's more bothering to you than just journal pages, isn't there, Sunset?"

Sunset holds her book, feeling a bit worried.

"Um...."

"C'mon! Share your troubles!" Pinkie appeared and smushing Sunset's cheek "It might help smooth those stress nerves."

She let go of him and Sunset rubbed her cheek "Uh, I don't wanna to take any of our big night....."

"I said spill it, Sunshim!!"Pinkie appeared in front of her.

Sunset pushing Pinkie away "Okay, okay. It's just that things are calming down around here."

"And that's bad how, precisely?" Rarity asked.

"It's not." Sunset replied, playing her pen nervously "It's just that instead of enjoying the fact that things are calm, I'm constantly  thinking about things going wrong, even when there aren't, not to mention of no signs of Chrono."

The girls nodded solemnly, knowing of their search for him would be difficult especially since he hid. 

"What about you Twilight?" Rainbow asked, "Any luck or clues that can find him?"

Twilight shook her head "No, so far Spike tried to find him but with last night rain, he had a difficult time finding him due to the water washed up the scent away. I did get the chance to visit Chrono's house."

"And?" Applejack asked.

"So far, I checked his room but I did find a robot toy that he always collects. His parents said that Chrono loves the anime series, Mobile Suit Gundam and treasure it so much."

"Gun-what now?" Rainbow asked.

"Gundam. From what I heard, it's a popular Japan anime series genre involving real militaristic robots." Twilight got her laptop and type it to find a page about the Gundam series. She clicked and a video shows robots in a war scene fighting with unique weapons, caught the girls with mixed feelings of an impression but just curiosity. "So far, it spawns different timelines with their own story lores on it about war and gains a great deal of popularity across the world."

Sunset shivered at the thought of people liking war since she knows that back in Equestria, there are not many histories in wars except in ancient times, "I didn't know people can be interested in that."

"Well, it happens before but so far war only exists in histories if you remember what we learn in history class," Twilight said and the girls nodded.

"But what it has to do with finding him?" Rarity asked.

"I can see if he left any DNA or something that Spike or his robot dog companion can find him." she pulled out an HG Gundam Barbatos "His scent should be coated in it."

"Well at least that's the good news, the sooner we can find him, the better we can get his head straight," Rainbow replied.

"Well, it's not going to be easy, Rainbow," Sunset said. "The last time we met him, he's going to be very difficult."

"Not to mention very barbaric too," Rarity added.

"Still, we got to try, right?" Twilight asked and the girls nodded. Pinkie notices her journal glowing a bit.

"Look!" Pinkie pick up Sunset's journal "Princess Twilight's writing you back! Hey, everybody, Sunset getting Equestritext!" 

Sunset got her journal back with a playful smirk at her.

"What it's said?" Applejack asked.

Sunset read a bit and shocked "Princess Twilight wants me to come back to......Equestria."





At the streets, Chrono, wander around the town, looking around. Ignoring the people getting looks from his disguise, he heads inside of a grocery market. He stops a bit at the front, realizes something. Because of his disguise, he mostly gets a lot of suspicious from other people so going there will be risky but the same if he removes it. He'll be open like a target for police. Looking around, he found a cap, a half-empty hair dye, and a cap on the dumpster. He grabs them and begins to move, but spot something else: a broken amulet with a star-shaped symbol with one side missing. 

"What is this?" he picks it up and examines it. From the inside, wires and circuits were broken or cracked. Whoever made this, he certain this is no ordinary amulet.

"It's a device, a spectrometer." he mused at this "But what's it doing here?"

Decide to keep it, he hid it in his bag and head to an empty room. Cutting his hair shorter, he sprays the half-empty hair dye on his red hair, making it dark blue. After a few minute passed to dry his new colored hair, he grabs a baseball cap and place on it. With a dirty blue jacket he found, he walked out and head inside the grocery market. Shopping for some bread he can find, he got 5 of them and pay at the cashier. 

Walking out, he takes one look at the spectrometer. Examine the damages, he sees the circuits and wires are damaged. Look around, he decides to head to an electronics store at the Canterlot Mall.

Upon walking, he looks around the area for an electronic store until he found one next to a boutique store. He enters in and decides to ask the repair crew about it at the table.

"Hello, welcome to Canterlot Electronic Store, may I help you?"

"Yes, I was wondering if you can fix something?" he asked.

"Well, depends on what electronic device, we can do our best to fix it." the employee said.

"Okay," he pulls out the broken spectrometer "So I was wondering if you can fix this?"

The employee/repairman looks at it and surprises at this. 

"Interesting, a spectrometer yet it was handmade. Where do you get this?" he asked.

"I just found it. On the streets, broken up when I found it." Chrono replied.

The repair crew examines it and with some humming to himself, he replied "Well, the wires and circuits are broken, it needs some rewire it and a replacement for it. We can do that but that will cost you for the parts we're going to use."

"I don't mind the cost. Also, do you also do custom-order?" the employee/ repair crew nodded "Okay because I need some changes to it."

"Okay, I just need your name sir." 

He thinks about something. He can't use his real name to the public but then again, giving the fact that his loneliness guides him, it's better to change himself to someone else. And he got an idea on which one. One that defines him of his cold-hearted and loneliness.

"Ex."

"Huh?"

"My name. Ex." 





In the Canterlot Statue, the portal ripples open and Sunset came out after her trip to Equestria. But she wasn't alone. Another girl knee down, distorted from the portal's magic. She has a heliotrope pink skin with dark purple curly hair with a light bluish streak and wearing a pink beanie. She also wearing a green shirt with a pink next to her chest and a black vest. Unlike other girls, she wears grey pants with some holes in her knees and wearing black shoes. This is Starlight Glimmer, Princess Twilight Sparkle's student who wants to learn more about friendship by going to the human's dimension after Sunset got her new journal from her.

"Ugghh......" Starlight's vision still distorted until she regains her normal vision. She looks at her hooves now transformed into hands.

"What happen?" 

Sunset came to her and help her up "It's all pretty strange at first, but try to roll with it."

When Starlight tried to stand up, her legs wobble a bit before got her balance. Some of the students look at them weirdly at her. Sunset just wave her hand at them with a 'Hi!'

Starlight Glimmer look at her former hoof in disbelief "Are these?"

"Hands."

She looks down at her former hind hooves "And what happened to the rest of my hoo-"

"Feet! Those are feet." Sunset said and looking around, hoping no one is looking at the other students "Remember the whole thing where I say you need to lay low? Now would be a good time to play it cool."

"Oh. Right." Starlight said while chuckling "Play cool."

She whipped her hair and prepare to walk but crouch down and walk like her pony form did. This caught the attention of some students and Sunset rushed to her and stop her. She picks her up and other students glance at them while Sunset gave them a wave. 

"You did say I made a good distraction." Starlight commented and Sunset rolled her eyes in amusement.





At the counter, Ex (Chrono) was reading some magazines, trying to keep him entertained while he was waiting for his new spectrometer. While reading the pages of it, an article caught his interest:

'Mysterious anomalies happened in Canterlot High during the Friendship Games.' 

'Anomalies in Canterlot High?' he thought about it and he continues reading it.

'For the past months, strange anomalies happen at Canerlot High School on June 15, 2013. Many reporters attempt to find the source of it, but so far there's no evidence of the strange cause of it. Principal Celestia stated that it was part of the school event that they used on certain occasion.'

'Strange occurrences?' Ex (Chrono) raise his eyebrows at this. What strange occurrences? Did something happen to the school before he got here? He continues reading it and it shows Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna.

'Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna stated that the strange anomalies were only light shows and effects for the Fall Formal and planned to use it for certain events in the future. This happens again on the Canterlot Musical Showcase on September 24, 2014, when the school students, the Dazzlings, perform only to be upstaged by the Rainbooms.'

'Dazzlings? Rainbooms?' Ex (Chrono) continue putting questions of this article while he continues reading it.

'Another anomaly occurrence happens again on September 25, 2015, on the debut of the annual Friendship Games between Canterlot High 'Wondercolts' and Crystal Prep Academy 'Shadowbolts'.

"So these occurrences......it all happens on Canterlot High, yet no one knows how but see as light shows and special effects." he muttered, "Something tells me that there's more to it."

"I see that you're reading this article about it." an employee said and Ex look at him with a nodded. "Trust me, even I was surprised that happened then again, I see a lot of crazy things in my life."

"I do have a question about this. Does this actually happen before I came to Canterlot St?" 

"Yeah, but there's a bunch of rumors going around it." an employee replied.

"What kind?"

"Well, supposedly, one of the rumors goes as a scientific experiment, another is a 'magical thing' or what, I don't know, many reporters tried to find evidence about it even scientist, but so far no one can decipher what cause it."

"'Magic?' That can't be true. Magic is nothing more than a hocus pocus stuff." Ex scoffed at that rumor.

"I know, I don't believe in that kind of stuff too." The employee turns and continues on his daily shift. 

'Ex, your item is now repaired. Please head to the front desk for pick up.' the voice com was heard and he heads to it.

From the front table, the spectrometer now resembles that of a jewelry gauntlet. Instead of the pink stars, it was a dark blue with dark wings on the side. White streak linings are on the curved sides and when Ex open it, a large gap between wires and outlet was seen like the old pendant.

"I hope we got this right, sir, changing that spectrometer to a gauntlet was difficult."

"It's perfect enough." Ex (Chrono) pull out his wallet. 

After getting it paid, he exits out of the technical store. He takes a glance at his newly rebuilt gauntlet and strapped to his left arm.

"Huh, perfect fit." he smiled at this and about to head back -

"RUN!!" a loud screeched was heard and Ex looks back at other people are running away from.

"What the?" he hurried to the commotion and saw that his eyes widen:  a giant woman with a dark green hair curved and dressed to that of a movie star. 

"Who or what the hell is that?!" he muttered. He lay low and peek at the movie star monster girl blowing kisses to other people which he gagged at this. He notices a heliotrope girl with a pink beanie was sneaking behind her and spring to grab a mirror. Both of them starting to struggle until the heliotrope girl kicks the mirror off of the movie monster star's hand.

He saw the mirror flew to the ground and the mirror cracked yet he notice something odd about it. A soft blue light hummed and he turned and saw his spectrometer glowing.

"What the?" he glanced at it then the cracked mirror which the heliotrope girl picked it up.

"Give that back!" the movie monster star girl growled while swiping her sharp nails at her only missed and the heliotrope girl hid behind a plant pot. 

"No! This mirror is nothing but trouble! You have to realize that!" she said.

"What I realize is you are just like those other girls!" the movie monster star girl picked up the pot plant "I wish you'd join them!"

'Wish?' Ex (Chrono) thought about it and crouch down to see them between the collar of the rail. 'A mirror that grants wishes? How can a mirror do- Wait a minute, the article in that newspaper.'

'Could this be one of those strange anomalies I read about?'

He looked back to see the heliotrope girl running in circle trying to get away from movie monster star girl. The movie monster star girl growled and picked up a display cart and threw at her, blocking her chance to escape.

"Give it back to me!" the movie monster star girl growled.

"But my friends are trapped in there!" the heliotrope girl exclaimed.

'Somebody is trapped?! In the mirror?' Ex (Chrono) wonder about this and a video music was played behind the monster movie star girl. From his view, it looks the girls he met at Canterlot High and Sunset Shimmer in her flamenco outfit.

"Your friends stole one chance of being famous!" the monster girl screeched and starting to smash the TVs, give her time to jump.

Ex hold his gauntlet spectrometer while it continues to glow softly yet little brighter. 

'Something tells me that this mirror must cause my spectrometer to acting up.'

"Is fame really what you're after or are you looking for something else?" the heliotrope girl asked before duck down as the monster star girl getting closer.

"Like what?!" she ripped the tent off of it.

"Like.....a friend?"

That surprise her and she narrowed her eyes at her "Who would want to be my friend?"

"I would."

"Why?" the monster star girl asked.

"Because I understand you, Juniper. You think getting revenge is going to make you feel better, but it's not. Please, don't make a mistake that you'll end up regretting." the heliotrope girl said.

"I already made too many mistakes. What I've done is......" she dropped the tent in sadness "is......unforgivable."

"No, Juniper, I know they'll forgive you. But first," the heliotrope girl shows the mirror now breaking apart with little shards of left. "You have to set them free."

Ex continue watching this discreetly and the monster star girl grabs the mirror and glance at it. 

"I...." she looks back at the heliotrope girl, who gave a reassuring smile, "I wish I can make up for my mistakes."

A bright flash blinded and Ex saw Sunset Shimmer, Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, and Fluttershy, falling down on each other. In addition, the monster star girl was transformed back to a normal girl with green hair that has ponytails and wearing a cinema employee attire.

'The girls from Canterlot High?!' Ex surprised at this then begin to piece it together. 'So, those girls, they are connected to the strange anomalies.'

While everyone was surprised at this turn of event, the Rainbooms forgive Juniper Montage while sharing their magical corruption. As Ex about to leave, Twilight noticed him and widened her eyes.

"Chrono....?" she muttered, that didn't go unheard to the girls.

"Twilight, what's wrong?" Sunset asked and Twilight turned back to see him gone.

"Nothing, just my imagination," she replied, felt something bad about to happen.

Outside, Ex takes a glance at his spectrometer gauntlet. 

"I see now, so if there are strange anomalies and from my gauntlet's scanner, it's clear that I need to find it. And I know this will help me greatly." Ex said before heading back to the abandon motel.

After Mirror Magic

Night came and everyone was sleeping while stores or restaurants are open for midnight shifts. Most of the people do their nighttime activities while some headed back home to sleep for the day. 

In the abandoned motel, Ex was learning his new spectrometer while writing down the events that happen this day on his notepad. So far, he wrote what he knows about the strange anomalies that happen along with a newspaper article about it and the one about it during the Friendship Games and photos of the Rainbooms lined up on the string to Canterlot High.

"If the girls are involved in the strange anomalies, then I can try to go back to the school but I can't let anyone know where I am, nor go on the daytime. Nighttime would be best to go. I can use my spectrometer to gather data about it. It's a good thing I found a computer that's still working." Ex muttered.

'Yes, it would be wise to wait before conduct your search.......' a fainted voice was heard yet he was not disturbed by it.

"Yeah, I wonder if I can be free from this world and find my place?" he muttered.

'You will find it and free from this sinful world.'

"Yes, I must do it. I once believe in friendship and family but it's nothing more than a lie, a wasteful emotion. I can find a place where I truly belong and leave this world." Ex said.

'Yes, friendship and family are wasteful thought, you only need is yourself, no one else.'

He nodded then set his stuff down and sleep through with a music played on his iPhone attach to an earphone on his ears before begin to softly sing it.

'I'll find my place. A place I can be home.' Ex muttered before fall into a deep sleep.





Morning came and the students continue their education at Canterlot High. Upon after school came, the Rainbooms and Starlight came to the music room.

"So what's like to be part of the band?" Starlight asked.

"It was the awesome thing that we did since we form for the Canterlot High Musical Contest event." Rainbow Dash replied.

"Except the part where the sirens use their dark magic and making the students go all competitive." Applejack said.

"Please don't remind me of that, darling. I had to deal with that bad memory on that day." Rarity said, earning a chuckle from Sunset.

"You think I can be part of it too?" Starlight asked. The girls look at each other before Rainbow stated.

"Of course, but we need to find which instruments you're good at it," Sunset said.

Starlight nodded then notice Twilight feeling distant a bit.

"You okay, Twilight?"

"Huh?" she looks back at her and nodded "Yeah, I'm fine. Just got a lot of things in my mind."

"You sure? I hope it doesn't get in the way of our songs that Fluttershy made." Rainbow asked and she nodded.

"I'm fine really, girls. Now c'mon, we got a song to play." Twilight said.

The girls looked at each other then nodded and grab their respective instruments. With Pinkie tap her drumsticks, the girls begin to sing the music Fluttershy made. Starlight was bobbing her head in enjoyment at the song and while the song is in perfect sync, Twilight's mind remembers something before Juniper's madness started.

Flashback

At Chrono's house, Twilight knock on the door. Then the door open and Time Break and River Bend appeared.

"Twilight Sparkle, so glad to see you again." Time Break said.

"It's good to see you again, Mr. Break," she said.

"The pleasure is mine, please do come in."

She enters and examines the place. It was filled with some boxes yet there are some items of furniture in the living room. A cracked was seen on a soft gold wall but was covered in white putty sealing half of it. From a glance at the kitchen, it was small yet a little bigger for two or three people to walk through. 

Twilight sat down on the chair as Time Break gave her some tea while passing down two coffee to each other.

"Thanks"

Twilight take a sip and smile at the aroma. 

"So Twilight, have you got the chance to find our son?" River Bend asked only to receive a no from her gesture of her head.

"We tried but so far no luck. Rainbow and Applejack checked around the city, Sunset and Fluttershy look at the downtown, Pinkie and Rarity look over at the mall too but so far no sign of him. Even I asked Timber and Glorisa to see if he was at Camp Everfree but the result is the same. " 

Both parents sighed in depression.

"Ohhhhh, where our son can be...." River Bend moan in sadness and Time Break rubbed her shoulder, trying to calm her. 

Twilight felt sad, seeing them like this "If there's somewhere that can help us in finding Chrono, I can see if I can create a tracking device of his DNA to locate him."

Both of the looks at each other then nodded.

"Upstairs, in his room, there's should be his stuff that can help you." Time Break pointed and she walked up to his room. It was simple yet there are some boxes stacked on the left. A wooden table was seen on the Northeast along with bright wooden shelves. The bed was simple, filled with only blankets scattered and pillow with manga books.

"There's not much on which one that can help me find him," Twilight said while examing the room. She looks around until she found something caught her interest: a robot toy wielding a mace and a sword in the back with the strangest design including the waist being bare, from the pistons she saw. 

"Wonder what kind of robot he's collecting?" she wonders while examining it.

"That's a Gundam, Twilight." Time Break said, earning the attention of her.

"Gundam?"

"Yes, Chrono has a huge obsession with the series Mobile Suit Gundam, a popular series from Japan that's been spreading across the world and gaining a great deal of popularity.  He often collects a lot of model kits and builds them, imagines himself being a pilot of them in a fictional war setting."

"Seems like he does have a huge obsession with it." She trailed off seeing a lot of model kit boxes laid on the side of the wall.

"I know, we tried to get our son to find other things to get his outlet going but he's pretty stubborn on keeping his path of being a builder." Time Break chuckled remembering a good memory.

Twilight gave one more glance and thought about it.

"Mr. Break, you don't mind if I borrow this one? I think I can use it to find him, I just need something to help me with it."

Time Break nodded "Of course, Twilight."

End Flashback

"Twilight, you're going off the track of the music!" Rainbow's voice snapped out of her stupor and realize what she did. The music stopped a bit and the girls glanced at her.

"Sorry, girls. Just got something in my mind...."

"About what?" Starlight asked, not knowing the situation of her human friend.

"It's nothing, Starlight. Nothing to worried about!" Twilight tried to divert the problem "How about we get back to the music, and-"

"Twilight, darling, were you thinking about Chrono?" Rarity asked and she froze up a bit.

"Um, well....." Twilight trying to draw the attention, but nothing came up and she sighed "Okay, yeah, just thinking about him."

"Chrono?" Starlight asked "Who's that?"

The Rainbooms looked at each other before Sunset spoke "Well, it's complicated, Starlight. Chrono is a new student at Canterlot High but he ran away and went missing on the second day of school."

"But what for?"

"From what his parents told us, he used to believe in Friendship but lost faith in it after he and his parents went job hunting across the countries. Because of that, when we met him, he was a cold-hearted and violent." Twilight explained.

Starlight was shocked. She never knew that Chrono would lose his faith in friendship but also the way Sunset and Twilight spoke about him, it was a familiar feeling: the feeling that she once have before Princess Twilight reform her.

"So do you where he is?" Starlight asked.

"We don't know, we tried searching everywhere for him in Canterlot City and such but no luck," Rainbow said.

"But we can't give up on him," Fluttershy said.

"Yeah, all we need to do is find him and get the friendship back to him." Pinkie said.

The girls nodded at their Party Girl's enthusiasm. Soon, after their practice, they decide to head back home with Starlight decide to stay at Sunset's home and the sunset to dusk.





At midnight, everything was quiet around the sleeping building of Canterlot High. A shadow rushed a tree branch and bent down towards the bush. A pair of dark blue eyes squinted at the surrounding, the rushed out and the shadow being checked its arm and the gauntlet continue to glow brighter towards the statue.

"This must be it," Ex muttered and he placed his right hand and touch only a ripple was heard.

"So that must be the source of it." he smirked darkly "Well, I guess it's time to examine this 'magic'.

With a thrust of his left hand, the Spectrometer Gauntlet glow brighter and magical energies begin to absorb into it until all of it was gone. Ex place the hand on the mirror again only to feel a normal mirror.

"Incredible.......so this is the magic.......I never felt so much............power within me." His eyes glow dark blue and a wicked smile.

"Now let's see what my new power is capable of." 

Through careful turns and hiding from people, he returns to the abandoned motel. Upon setting his stuff down, he glances at his now fully charged Spectrometer Gauntlet. 

"To be honest, I never smile at anything ever since I threw away Friendship but this......." he gripped it tightly "this does bring my smile."

'Now you can escape this foul world and create a new one.' the whispers echoed eerily. 'Use that power and create your own paradise!'

"Yes, I will escape this rotten world and create a new one!!" he thrust his gauntlet into a wall and sparks of energies surge around and open a portal.

'Good, good, enter it and explore your own new world you truly desire.' the whispers echoed and Ex enters the portal.





5 days later

After a few days of showing Starlight around the city as well as getting a ticket for the new Daring Doo movie but this time having Juniper Montage as Starlight's friend, the Rainbooms were at the front of the statue, knowing that Starlight had to go back to Equestria.

"I got to say, the movie was pretty good but I like the book better." Starlight said.

"Yeah, but you got to admitted, we were awesome in that movie!" Rainbow said, earning a sighed from Applejack.

"An how many times I told you, Rainbow, we got small roles in it." 

"But sooner later, we might have more roles, darling." Rarity said.

"That is if Canter Zoom will allow us in the next one," Sunset replied.

Starlight shares a smile after a great time meeting her human friends (except Sunset), despite them being counterparts of her pony friends.

"Well, I better get ready to go now." she turned to the mirror "See ya!"

As she about to go through, she bumps her nose and fell down on the floor. Shocked at this, Sunset rushed towards the portal and tried to see if there's any magic but to her horror...

There's none. Only a plain mirror she felt.

"No, no, no, no, no, no!!" Sunset exclaimed while the Rainbooms helped Starlight up "Where's the portal?! WHERE'S THE PORTAL?!!!!!"
> Chapter 5 - The Power of the Gundams

To the horror of the Rainbooms, the portal to Equestria is closed and Starlight was stuck with them. Panicking, Sunset tried to write the news to Princess Twilight about this hoping for an answer from it in her journal.

"Ah don't understand, how can the portal to Equestria be missing?" Applejack was entirely confused.

"I don't know, Applejack," she muttered, walking around trying to figure out the situation while waiting for a reply in her journal.

"You think that someone stole it?" Fluttershy asked.

"Can't be, they don't have the technology to take the portal's magic beside Twilight's spectrometer during the Friendship Games." Rainbow realized this and turned to Twilight "Uh, no offense."

"None taken. But Rainbow is right, Sunset. Since you destroyed the spectrometer, it shouldn't function anymore and be broken into scraps." 

"Yeah, that's what we thought....." Sunset said.

"You think something happened to Equestria?" Pinkie asked.

"I don't know, Pinkie, if anything happened, then Spike would write an emergency letter to me." Starlight said, still rubbing her sore nose. 

"But I want to know is who and how?" Sunset said. 

'The girls are right. Twilight's spectrometer is destroyed so it should be in the scrapyard. A magical creature exiled to here? A government or what?'Her mind groaned at the situation. 

A vibrant ring was heard as Sunset saw her journal glow and she turned the page for the response from Princess Twilight. 

"What Princess Twilight said, Sunset?" Rarity asked 

She sighed and read it aloud:

'Dear Sunset,

I tried looking at the portal on my side and it was too was missing. I read every books around the castle and no luck of this cause. I'll have to look at the Canterlot Library with Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. Until then, tell Starlight that hang out with you girls.

'From Princess Twilight'

"Even Princess Twilight having a problem too?" Rainbow groaned at this news and all of the girls have a worried expression with all the same question: who took the portal's magic? 





Ex opened his eyes and from his amazement, the area is surrounded by a circuit of data, streaming everywhere in the dark blue and hot pinkish sky. The ground was hexagon shaped and each was moving by itself either up or down or moving to one side to another.

"Incredible.....so this is my new world......in another dimension......" Ex amazed at this.

'Yes, your own world. Your own kingdom.' the whispers said.

"My own kingdom......" from a chuckled to a maniac laugh "Whoever thought that the magic would grant me the wishes I want! Now I can build my own world in this dimension and rule it as a king! I have finally escaped this wretched world and found a place to call it home!!!"

Ex walked the platform and begin to sing:

A Kingdom Called Home

I hate the life I was born
I was filled with lies and empty promise
the world offering me.

A hunger of wishes course through me
A desire above everyone's else consumed me

Now I'm here into a world I am belong!
Now I can be free from reality and lies the world placed on me!
Now I can create a better life without nuisance in my way!
Now I can create a Kingdom Called Home!

Ex stepped down and using his magic, he slams his fist on the ground and surge of data flow around turning into Gundam units. Each stand like knights as he walked over them.

I once believe in the lies, 
I thought I found a home,
but all that was I become an empty shell.

I wish for a new life
One that's worth to me
One that's pure from the darkness

Now my wishes came true in this new world!
Now I can throw away the lies and darkness!
Now I can create a new reality!
Now I can create a Kingdom Called Home!

Ex using his magic and a rumble was heard and a data like castle appeared from the castle.

Now everything came true!
Now I am me in this world!
Now I am the one who is free
Now I have a Kingdom Called Home!!

Ex sat down on a throne room, his clothes changed to of a regal look and glance with pure evil.

From the farthest side of the dimension, a red being gritted his teeth. 

'Ex, no Chrono, you left me with no choice. I must do this so we can be reunited once more and return to your friends and family.'





At Twilight's laboratory, Twilight was fixing up a new device and she took some of the parts off from the spare parts she got from her failed inventions. 

"Twilight, you're still up?" Spike asked and he yawned "It's getting late, almost a midnight. Get some sleep will ya?"

"Sorry Spike, but I almost done with my device." she takes a screwdriver and twist down the bolt tightly "Okay, now for the test."

She pushes some buttons and a screen was seen but fizzled out a bit.

"Ah shoot!" Twilight groaned "And so close to finding Chrono with this....."

"Twilight, what makes you want to help Chrono? Do you have feelings for him?" Spike asked, at the last statement, she dropped down on the floor.

"What, no way! I already have feelings for Timber, Spike. I told you, I want to help him because he reminded me a bit of myself." Twilight said.

"I don't see any similarities of you two," Spike said.

"No, but from what I can tell, he's pretty hurt from losing the faith in friendship. I felt that when I focus on my studies, even though I was better off with it than making friends, it still hurt me a lot." 

"If anything, Chrono just need some friends to rekindle the friendship he lost." 

"But shouldn't you just let people be?" Spike asked

"Yes I know, but her parents want their Chrono back, the cheerful and friendly Chrono they know and love and....." she sighed "I want to help him the way Sunset did for me. If wasn't for her and her friends, I wouldn't be in an amazing school with such wonderful friends and a boyfriend that I have. It's just a way of sayin 'Thank You for everything' for her and her friends."

Spike sighed but nodded. Since after the Camp Everfree event, Sunset and Twilight have been very close almost like soul sisters they never have. 

"I guess I'll fix it up tomorrow after school." she sighed. "C'mon Spike."

"Way ahead Twilight."

With that, she turned off the light in her lab and changed her clothes to her pajamas and went to bed.





At the unknown dimension, Ex was gazing at the new world growing, the mobile suits he created through data, working on the structure of the data landscape. Another MS was working on the weapons and crafted to each MS. 

His throne lowers down and walk out when a GM unit bows down.

"How's my world?" he asked.

The GM passed down the reports and Ex was gazing at the result. Nodded, he returns it to the GM.

"Continue with the structure of the world. In addition, bring me the Full Armor Gundam Thunderbolt, Pyscho Zaku, and Crossbone X1 Full Cloth. I need them for a heavy defense in my castle. And make sure they are ready, weapon set and such."

The GM bowed in nodded before flying away.

"You there!" he points at a Zaku "I'll create more Zakus for you but need to make sure the structure of the castle is ready and the defense too."

The Zaku saluted and continue working hard on the defense.

'Excellent, your world is halfway complete, just make sure to defend it.'

"Yes," Ex muttered "I will defend my world. With my Mobile Suits at my disposal."

Just then, a large earthquake was heard and Ex grunted in anger of this.

"Who dares disturb my world?"

He turns to another GM "You there, I'll be checking out. Continue working." he slams his gauntlet to the floor and creates six Gundams. One a classic yet modern look, a blue-winged unit with gold frames, a unique unit with frames sticking out including the waist, a ground type with the symbol 08 on the left and another with an 81 logo on the right chest, a tall white unit with a pinkish frame glowing, a purple unit with three wings like metal feathers, and an angel-like unit.

"You six, follow me. We need to figure out who's disturbed my new world. And this time, it's time for the world to know the power of the Gundams."

With that, Ex headed to the portal along with six Gundams to the abandoned motel. 





At the front of the abandoned motel, a construction crew use a wrecking ball crane and slam it at the motel. A large crack was formed from it and the construction manager look up the clip of a new building.

"Okay, just a few more guys and this motel goes down." the construction manager said, earning nods from the co-workers.

"I was wondering who would dare to try to destroy my world." Ex's voice was heard getting the attention from the construction crew.

"What's a kid doing in there?!" one of them asked.

"Don't know, he's probably a hobo?"

"With that kind of clothes, yeah right."

The construction crew manager stops them and turned to Ex "Kid, it's dangerous to be there in that motel, you need to leave here now."

"And for the purpose of leaving my world?" Ex question him.

"We're trying to build a new coffee shop here. Just take your own world and get out." the construction manager points out of the street to him, but Ex begins to laugh, earning confused glance from them.

"You think you can build something on top of my world?" his eyes glow dark blue "Well then, I guess I have to decimate you. Consider this a judgment of your ignorance."

"Yeah right, what are you trying to be, a god?" one of them asked. 

A pink beam shot the crane and exploded, earning frights from the crew. To their horrors, multiple robots coming out of the building, each weapon in hand pointing at them.

"I'm not trying to be a god. I AM A GOD!"

With that word, all of the Gundams fire at the construction crew, destroying everything in sight. The construction crew screamed in fear as they run away from the onslaught. The same for other people who witness this event as police cars stop at the construction place and point their guns at him.

"Freeze-"

Ex slam his gauntlet on the ground and a violent shockwave hit them and sending the police car crashing into buildings.

The Wing Zero Custom fire its Twin Buster Riffle at another coming of police cars on left while the Strike Freedom fire its dragoon on the right.

'Now your world is safe, you can begin the final phase of your grand world.' the whispers echoed him.

"My world is already good enough...."

'True, but its small and you need to expand it, make it bigger for yourself.'

"How can I make my world bigger......"

'Destroy the old world, turn everything to data for it will become an expansion of your desire.'

"Yes, I shall destroy this world and with it a brand new world I desire!"

With that, he supercharged his gauntlet and slam on the ground. Sparks everywhere formed and the ground slowly begins to digitize and spreading. Many people rushed out of this but some were caught and turned into data.

"Now I will return back home to my kingdom. You six, continue your wake of destruction. I shall prepare for the new world to be born."

Ex return back to the portal and the Gundams continue its destructive rampageacross Canterlot City.
> Chapter 6 - Chaos in Canterlot
> --------------------------------------------------------------------------

At Canterlot High, the Rainbooms meet up at the band room after school with Starlight. Since the portal is closed, Sunset convinced Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna for Starlight to attend until they can find the portal magic. So far, Starlight has the same class schedule as Sunset and Twilight. As for their search for Chrono, it is still unsuccessful in their search. Even the police searched for him but no luck and they told they'll try to contact other police from other countries. 

While waiting for Twilight and Sunset to finish up with their Algebra class, Starlight examined each of the Rainbooms' equipment.

"Oh, oh, oh, maybe you can play the piano!" Pinkie suggested.

"I still need to work on the fingers, Pinkie." Starlight said.

"Oh, maybe you can play the guitar-"

"Pinkie, we already got three guitarists." Rainbow said, "We don't need more."

"Oh, maybe the piano?"

"You said that already, Pinkie." Rarity said. "Besides, we need to get wheels on those things."

"Oh, maybe a violin?" 

"I don't know, we're more into pop rock music Pinkie." Applejack said.

Just as Pinkie continue to suggest, Starlight place her hand on her mouth.

"Maybe it's better if I sing if that's all right with you girls?" 

The girls thinking about it but nodded. 

"All right, but we had to wait for Twilight and Sunset to be done in about-"

The door open and Twilight and Sunset came in, with the tracking device on hand.

"Sorry, I was finishing tuning up my tracking device. It wasn't easy finding the right parts to fix it up." Twilight said while setting her stuff down and the girls examined the device.

"Don't tell that's not one of the spectrometers that sucking the magic out of us, right?" Rainbow said, trying to repress the memory of it, earning glares at the girls.

"No, it's not this time. It's a tracking device to locate anyone through the strand of DNA." Twilight said "With this and a piece of Chrono's hair, we can find him anywhere thanks to the feature of Google Maps in it thanks to my coding skills in it."

"So does that mean we can find Chrono?" Starlight asked and Twilight nodded.

Just then, two doors swung open, and Flash Sentry came out, breathing heavily and scared.

"Flash, what's wrong?!" Sunset rushed towards him and help him up.

"Canterlot City......invading......robots.......destroying.......everything!" Flash mumbled.

"Wait, what happened to Canterlot City?!" Applejack asked.

"Dudes! Check out the News!" Sandlewoods came in and showed them the Canterlot City News.

"This is something that we have never seen before. Just a few moments ago, robot armies in the form of the japan's mecha series, Mobile Suit Gundam, have suddenly come to life and now attacking the city. How they came to life is remain a mystery. Police advise all citizens to retreat to the farthest place of Canterlot City while the Canterlot Army send out to quell the danger." 

"Wait, Gundams are coming to life?!" Twilight widen her eyes at this in horror just like the other girls did.

"But how?! Those things supposed to be fictional!" Fluttershy worried at this.

"Wait, you don't think....." Starlight asked Sunset and even then, she nodded.

"Girls, I think that Chrono Blaze stole the portal's magic and now using it to bring those Gundams to life and destroying everything," Sunset said, earning pure shocked from them.

"But why destroying Canterlot City?" Pinkie asked.

"I don't know, but we need to get the portal magic from him," Sunset said.

"Uh, Sunset, not to be a sore loser, but those things are robots! You know, techy stuff, weapons that can literally k-word anyone on sight, and also tough armor!" Rainbow said.

"Still, we have to stop them or else Canterlot City will be destroyed!" Sunset said and the girls looked at each other but nodded. With that, they rushed towards Canterlot City.





"Take them down- ahhhh!" an Army guard screamed as the Strike Freedom's Dragoons fire at the tanks, destroying them. Multiple jets flew over and fire missiles at them. The Hi-Nu Gundam deploy its Fin Funnels and create a beam barrier around them protecting them. Then it fires the Funnels at the jets, causing them to crash down on the city.

Multiple armies coming down and tried to shoot them but the Gundams fire back causing them to blast into the wall or drop dead.

GMs, Zakus, Jegans, and ReZELs came out of the portal and marching towards the city and destroying it on sight. Ex watches this and gave a sinister smirk.

'Soon, the old shall burn like ashes and upon that, a new world will rise.'

At the top of the building, a red robot with two shoulders like wings and a crest symbol pull out from the left side a grey rusty sledgehammer. Then changing into a winged mode and using its thruster, it rushes out and charging at the GMs and Zakus.



The GMs and Zaku notice and fire weapons at the red robot but with the incredible speed dodging bullets, it swung its massive sledgehammer at one GM on the head, causing to pop out and slam into the ground. Then another rush and the red robot jumps up and slam on top of the head of a Zaku, then with quick precision, it pulls out a shotgun and fire at the upcoming ReZELs causing them to stumble a bit and crash into a building. 

"All right, you want some more, huh? Well, you're in luck cause you guys got a one-way ticket....." the red robot's green eyes flash "to hell."
> Chapter 7 - Rainbooms vs Gundams
> --------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Rainbooms rushed to the battlefield and saw many people running their lives from the onslaught of the destruction. Fires crackle, buildings half or completely destroyed and the worst part, many soldiers were hurt or bodies were found. They know that this is Equestria Magic but to be used for genocide and destruction, this is something that they question if the Magic of Friendship can overcome this apocalypse.

"This is nuts......." Starlight was frightened of the casualties placed on this dimension. All she wanted was a look at the other world that Sunset lives in, but to be stuck and witness the destruction by one person consumed by Equestria Magic, this is something that she hoped that this darkest hour ends. 

"Oh, those people......" Fluttershy was scared, hiding behind Applejack as the girls saw other people stuck or injured from the destruction. 

"We better help those people," Twilight said and the girls nodded. Using their magic, each of the girls helped other citizens getting out of the wreckage and place them far from the city. 

"Okay, that should be the last of them, now let's find Chrono!" Rainbow said but before they can rush through, a large pink beam shot down on the ground, scared them. The Rainbooms look up and saw three ReZELs rush towards them.



"Incoming fighters!" Pinkie shouted and the girls dodge out of the way when they fire the fire grenades at them.

"Okay, so how do we fight them?" Rainbow asked, "Those things have tough armor."

"Only we can do is work together to defeat those things," Sunset said. "Rainbow take the skies, Rarity and Applejack provide cover and hit attacks!"

"Right!"

With activate their geodes, the girls transform into their Crystal Guardian form. Rainbow swoops up in the skies and the ReZELs fire at her but with her speed, she's impossible to be hit. As her crystal wings flap harder, she landed on the top of a ReZEL Commander Type and the Commander Type tried to get her off by doing a barrel roll but she holds it tight.

"Yaahhhhhh, Rarity, Applejack, here it comes! Get ready!" Rainbow shouted, trying to hold on to her dear life. Applejack grabbed a wreckage part of a building and Rarity use her gem power to deflect the attacks from the other ReZELs. 

"Okay, here it comes......." she squints her eyes at the target came close "NOW!"

With a raw strength, she threw it towards the Commander type and Rainbow hop out just in time for the ReZEL to be smashed onto the building wreckage and explode.

"All right!" Rainbow whooped but it was short-lived as the two ReZELs charging at them. Twilight used her magic to freeze them while Rarity conjured another diamond shaped energy and launched at them, pierce them at the chest, exploded in process.

"Boo-yah!" Pinkie shouted. Then from the right, three Zakus II came out and fire their machine guns at them. Rarity conjured a shield to protect them. 

"Pinkie, ready your cannons!" Rarity shouted and the pink party girl salute and pull out her Party Cannon from who knows where.

"All set and ready to fire!" Pinkie pulled out a mask with a scope on one eyesight and lock onto the targets. 

"Hit it!"

With the shield lower down, Pinkie fire her cannon as sticky batters launched at them, causing the Zakus to get caught on it. Many tried to get out but the stickiness holds them in place.

"Oh yeah!" Applejack fist bumped but more pink beams fire at them as the girls rush towards the building and hid behind it.

"Okay, Twilight, I got an idea. Hold those robots down. I'll see if my magic can do anything besides looking at memories." Sunset said and Twilight nodded. "Rainbow, try to knock them down. And Fluttershy....."

Fluttershy look at her and Sunset spoke, "Go Wild."

Fluttershy gave a grin at her plan. With that, the girls rushed out and Rarity provides cover for her friends. The GMs rush towards Rainbow and one pull out a beam saber and slash her but missed due to her speed and was knocked by a diamond-shaped energy from Rarity. Applejack grabbed two big building bits and rushed towards two more GMs. The GMs fire their beam weapon at her but using the building wrecks as a shield. She then threw one at the right, knocking the head out while she charges at the second, slam it to the wall. More GMs rushing towards Sunset Shimmer but Twilight using her magic to hold them in place. Trying to focus on attack spells, she opens her hand and fires yellow magic orbs at them, blasting them to pieces. 

For Starlight, she found a beam rifle and picked it up. The ReZELs coming towards her and in her fright, she inadvertently points the weapon and fire at the engines causing them to crash down on the other side.

"Okay, now I know how to use this thing," she muttered before she holds on her shoulder and fire at the other GMs.

For Rainbow Dash, she grabs a pole and smack the head cameras of the GMs and Zakus, knocking them down. A missile hits the ground, causing her to lose her ground. From the top, DOMs ganging up and surrounding her. She got up and prepare her pole weapon until a bear noise was heard as the DOMs glance back and a bear swiped its claw at one of them on the head. Birds gather around the other DOMs and either pecking or pooping them, distracting them. The same for the dogs and cats growled and hiss at them and latch on top of them. 

Fluttershy came to Rainbow side "Are you all right?"

"Yeah, thanks for the close call, Fluttershy," Rainbow said. "We better get moving and knock those robots to the scrap heap."

With a nod, they rushed forwards, catching up with the others.





Ex saw everything from the data stream, growled at the outcome "HOW?! My MS supposed to be unstoppable yet these girls able to use their magic to counter it! IT'S NOT LOGICAL!!!"

'Use the Gundams. Burn them on sight.' the whispers echoed.

"All right," he then presses few buttons and said "Gundam Units on Canterlot City. New mission. Target the eight girls and destroy them!"

He also looks at the other screen where he saw the red robot fighting hard on the battlefield.

'As for you, even in your Astaroth Origin form, you won't stand in my way.' his mind echoed at this and saw his kingdom begin to terraforming to the portal.





At the battlefield, the Astaroth Origin, swung and slam its sledgehammer hard, knocking them to the side. Once all of them were destroyed, he breathing heavily and knee down on the ground.

'I better keep going. I had to stop Chrono from destroying the world- huh?'

Its mind was interrupted as it senses something on the other side of the city.

"I sense......magic there........better check it out."

With that, it converts into his flight form and soars towards the area.





Sunset and the others encounter another GMs only in the Ground Type variant and begin shooting them with their cannon like gun called NFHI·GMCa-type.09/180mm Cannon and the girls dodge quickly give Rarity time to conjure a shield. Even with Rarity's shield, the impact from it, causing it to break.

"Okay, anyone else got a plan cause the shield won't last long!" Rarity shouted. 

Another impact and webs of cracks formed from the shield.

"I got one, I just need to charge up my magic." With that, Twilight closed her eyes as a surge of her magic formed. Once all of it gather in her hand, she opens her eyes "Okay, now lower the shield!"

As the shield is down, the bullets shot towards them and Twilight hold her hand. Every ballistic bullet was stopped and grunted to try to hold all of it, she pushes them back at the GMs Ground Type, destroying them in the process.

"All yeah, those robots are down for the scrap heap!" Rainbow said.

"Yeah, with those meanie robots down, we can totally beat any of them." Pinkie said.

"Hold up, something doesn't feel right." Sunset said, earning attention from the others "If I research correctly on the Gundam franchise, these guys are only grunt type suits."

"Yeah so?"

"So where are the-"

Before Sunset's sentence can be complete, multiple beams strike at them, causing them to fly backward. Before long, the girls groaned in pain a bit before seeing a blue-winged and gold frame Gundam descend to the ground.



Then more came to the side of the blue-winged Gundam. From the right is a classic robot holding a beam rifle and a large shield.



Next, a unique unit holding a mace and the strange thing is the robot's frames sticking out including the waist. 



A winged like unit in the form of an angel swoops down holding two large guns.



A ground type unit appeared with the 08 symbol on the left and an 81 on the right chest.



Nexxt, another winged type Gundam appeared in a purple color and have three feather-like on the back.



And the last one is a tall white Gundam, glowing in a pinkish red like glow from the expose frames.



All of them point weapons at the Rainbooms, with their eyes glow, preparing to destroy them.

"Oh, there are the Gundams." Sunset groaned a bit before standing up along with the Rainbooms. 

"So now we have to fight those Gundams?" Fluttershy asked.

"Seems so, sugarcube. And those guys aren't going to be easy like those grunt units we fought." Applejack said.

"C'mon, if we can work together and scrap all robots down, we can totally do it again!" Rainbow said and the girls nodded at their rainbow friend's enthusiasm. 



With that, the girls charged their magic and charged at them with the Gundams did the same. The Barbatos swung its mace at Twilight, but using her telekinesis, she pulled a wreckage and use as a shield. The impact of it, causing it to break and the Barbatos swung down at her only for Twilight's magic to caught it in a bubble. Sunset came to and fire her magic at it, only for the Barbatos to break free and swung the magic back at her, causing Sunset to groaned in pain. The RX-78-2 Gundam charges at her but Twilight stopped it caught in the magic bubble and swung at the Barbatos only for it to dodge and the Barbatos swung its mace at her, sending her to the ground.

"Twilight!" Sunset shouted.

The RX-78-2 Gundam landed on its knee and fire its beam rifle at Sunset. She dodges quickly only for the impact to knock on the ground.

"Sunset!" Twilight rushed to her side and helped her up.

"Seems like these Gundams know how to work together......" Sunset muttered.

"I guess we got to change it up a bit to defeat those Gundams," Twilight said and Sunset nodded before charging their magic and rush towards the Barbatos and the RX-78-2 Gundam.



At the skies, Rainbow dodging quickly from the Strike Freedom's dragoons but with them being remote based, she had a hard time dodging it, causing her to get hit on the back and crash down on the ground.

"Would you quit do that?! It's getting on my nerves!" Rainbow spat out the dirt and saw the Strike Freedom charging at her only for her dodge out of the way and speed through it. The Dragoons fire at her causing her to stumble and the EZ-8 came behind her and punch her to the ground.

"Hey, leave her alone!" Applejack shouted and she charging at the Ez-8 only for it to dodge and move to a nearby wall. Then the backpack latches on and begins sliding down, firing its machine gun and vulcans. Applejack dodge out of the firing range but the bullet caught her left arm and she screamed in pain. She grabs her injured arm and rushed out quickly to a nearby wall.

Rainbow came to her and examine the bleeding arm. 

"By Celestia, are you all right?!" Rainbow asked and Applejack only grunted in pain.

"Well, no, my arm got shot- owwww!!" Applejack gritted her teeth, trying to hold her tears of pain only to failed misery. Rainbow spotted an torn handkerchief and used it to wrapped the bleeding arm.

"Thanks, Rainbow. " Applejack said, "That aside, those guys are too powerful even if we work together!"

"No kidding, how we can defeat those guys?!" Rainbow asked. Before they can answer, they heard a missile coming towards them and they dodge out of the way, rushed out and stumble on the wreckage.

"I hope the others doing well cause we're going to need backup!" Applejack said and they rushed out of the battlefield dodging bullets from the EZ-8.



For Rarity, blocking the Fin Funnels using her diamond shield magic is getting irritated since the Hi-Nu Gundam fire its bazooka at her. She manages to dodge out of the way but she screamed when dirt getting on her outfit.

"Ugh, seriously! That is a crime against fashion, you uncivilized-!"

Before her sentence can be completed, the Unicorn fire a beam magnum and even with Rarity block it, the impact from it broke it easily and hit it on the ground. Then the Unicorn use its beam tonfa and swung its arms at her, tearing the outfit.

Pinkie threw some sprinkles which explode on contact due to her magic at the Unicorn Gundam, blinding it for a bit. She caught Rarity and got her to her feet. The fashionista screeched at the horror of her outfit now shred and torn.

"OH! IT! IS! ON!!!!!" Rarity's eyes were on fire and she prepares her diamond tonfa. "Pinkie darling, go all out on that purple winged Gundam! I got the white one for ruining my outfit!!!!"

"On it!" Pinkie said and got her party cannon. She loaded up with her sticky batter and she threw more rounds of exploding sprinkles at the Hi-Nu Gundam, earning its attention. The Hi-Nu fire its funnels at her, but Pinkie dodge quickly and hopping while she threw at the Hi-Nu's camera face, blinding for a bit and inadvertently causing the Fin Funnels to fire randomly around the area. 

"Okay, big bad meanie robot, time for your dessert!" she fires at the Hi-Nu but upon that, the Fin Funnels formed a pyramid-shaped beam shield, causing the batter to melted. 

"Oh c'mon! That's a special family recipe!" Pinkie groaned. The Hi-Nu regained it sense and glared at her, firing its beam rifle at her party cannon destroying it.

"NOOOOO! That was my favorite!" Pinkie wailed in a dramatic way "Oh well, it's a good thing I got lots of spares one around."

She pulled another from who knows where and lock on at the Hi-Nu firing multiple sticky batters but the Hi-Nu dodge quickly and slice the second one, only for Pinkie to pull another again.

Rarity charges at the Unicorn Gundam which blocked her diamond tonfa with its beam tonfa. It kicks her stomach and punches in her face.

"You brute! You should know that no man should hit a woman!!" Rarity angrily shouted but the Unicorn fire its beam Vulcans at her. Rarity conjured her shield again to deflect it.

"Okay, you want rough?" she pushes the shield at the Unicorn, making it topple a bit "Let's play ROUGH!"



Meanwhile, Fluttershy and Starlight dodge the intense beam buster fired from the Wing Gundam Zero. Starlight locked onto it and fire her beam rifle but the angel like Gundam dodge it in a graceful move then descend down and pull a beam saber and slash Starlight's beam rifle, making a little explosion. 

"Okay, that's bad." Starlight moaned "Fluttershy, any animals that can stop that?"

"Let me try!" She focus her magic as birds swoop down towards the Wing Zero only for it to swipe them away with its hands, causing them to fall down.

"OH, NO! Those poor animals!" Fluttershy shouted then glared at the Wing Zero "HOW DARE YOU?!"

Her eyes were in flame and spotted a beam rifle, grab it and fire at the Wing Zero only for it to dodge again and fire its vulcans at her. Starlight pushes her out of the way and both hid at the wreckage building.

"Okay, that thing is pretty powerful. Unless there's a way I can use magic, we're sitting ducks!"

"Oh, we're not," Fluttershy muttered, dangerously and Starlight take a glance at her only for her to regret looking at her and she saw her loaded the beam rifle. "We're going to get through this. Here."

She threw a rail gun which she got stumble a bit due to the heaviness "Time to send that angel to the scrap heap."

She rushed out and fire her beam rifle at the Wing Zero and in a quick second, she fires at the Vulcans, destroying it.

"Wow, I better remind myself never to make Fluttershy mad." Starlight said, then join with her and target the Wing Zero and fire it. The recoil sends her a bit topple and miss it but she shook it right off and fire it again, this time trying to get used with the recoil.





Gundam Astaroth Origin landed on top of the building and saw six Gundams, fighting 7 seven girls.

"What are these girls thinking?!" it mumbled "They can't fight those Gundams! These guys are the top bests of every Gundam franchise!!"

It notices two of them, a red hair with yellow streak hair was using magic to fight the RX-78-2 Gundam and a lavender girl with glasses and a ponytail dark purple with hot pink stripe working together to fight the Barbatos. The same for the rainbow hair girl and a cowgirl fighting the Strike Freedom and Ez-8, the purple curly girl and the cotton candy girl fighting the Unicorn and the Hi-Nu, and the light pink girl and a heliotrope girl working together to fight the Wing Zero.

'Still, I can't let them get killed like this!" it thought, then rushed towards the RX-78-2 and the Barbatos.





Sunset was sent flying to the ground, then she saw the Barbatos doing a front flip and prepare to slam her. She dodges out of the way before the mace makes an impact on the ground. 

"For a robot from a Japanese series, you're a tough one," she mumbled and she conjured a magic saber. The Barbatos charging at her but to her surprise, a strange gun-like weapon came underneath the right arm and fire at her. Realize this, she dodges it quickly and the Barbatos got in close, swung its mace at her but she blocked quickly with her magic saber.

But the impact causes her to stumble a bit and yet, she stands strong and struggles with the force from the Barbatos. Before that, the Barbatos, knee kick her stomach and swung its mace at her, sending her to the ground.

For Twilight, blocking the shots from the RX-78-2 Gundam is difficult but from the impact of a whip-like spiky ball is another. She tried to use her magic but because of the speed, she can't even hold it still so she tried to block it with a wreckage of the building. The RX-78-2 Gundam charges at her pulling out a beam saber.

"Okay, better tried out that ability, Twilight," she mumbled and concentrate her magic, she pulled out a lavender beam saber and block it.

The impact of it causing her to stumble but she stands her ground and struggles with it. The RX-78-2 pushing her down despite her strength and pull out another beam saber and begin slamming it at her magic saber. With each impact, Twilight's strength falters one by another as her knee land on the ground, the RX-78-2 slam both sabers at her's causing it to break in half.

She screamed and land on the ground. The RX-78-2 walk towards her and point its beam saber at her.

'Is this the end?' Twilight's mind fearing the worst. 

The RX-78-2 prepares to swing its beam saber at her.

'Sunset, Fluttershy, Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Spike, Timber, Mom, Dad, I'm sorry'.

She closed her eyes and prepare for her death. 

But death never came......

No coldness of darkness or intense pain.



She opens her eyes slowly and to her shocked, a red robot, holding a sledgehammer blocking the attack. The red robot struggles to push through and with enough strength, it pushes back and sidekick the RX-78-2. It pulls out a shotgun from the left waist and fire at the machine, but the RX-78-2 blocked using its shield. Then at a quick moment, the Astaroth Origin slam its sledgehammer at the head, crushing it to piece and destroying it. Then with the explosion, the Gundam was turned into a metal shaped totem.

Twilight was stunned. Of all the Gundams, she never has seen one before and when the red robot turned to her, her eyes widened in dinner plate upon the red robot coming towards her.

"S-Stay away! I warning you!" she threatens it but it didn't respond and she scooched away from it only to her to stop at a wall. The Astaroth Origin came to her side and Twilight prepares for the worst, but the red robot knee down and open its claw-like hand.

"Are you all right, miss?" the red robot asked to the bookworm's surprise. "Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you."

She hesitated at first but given the fact that the Astaroth Origin saved her, she nodded and placed her hand on it and the Astaroth helped her get up.

"Yeah, I'm fine, just got lots of bruising and bleeding," she said, indicated from the swollen and the blood coming from her lips.

"Here." the Astaroth Origin gave a blue orb, then with a magic she never felt before, a red aura forming a shield around her and all of her injuries begin to heal in a quick second.

"It's a healing orb. Use it and your friends." she felt a warm energy coursing through her. After that, she about to speak when they heard a loud rumble and the Astaroth Origin transform into its flight form along with Twilight following him to the battlefield and soar to where Sunset and Barbatos duking out.

At the battlefield, Sunset knee down, coughing a bit of blood from her mouth. She grunted as the Barbatos continue to swing its mace at her but she dodges through the wreckage and fires her magic at it only for the Barbatos to swing them out of the way.

"Seriously?!" Sunset groaned in annoyance as she about to clash it with her magic saber, the red robot slam the Barbatos into the wall, surprising her.

"What the?!"

"Sunset!" Twilight called her and she turned and saw her friend running to her. She about to walk but knee down due to the damage she has taken from the fight with Barbatos.

"Are you all right?" Twilight asked and she only nodded.

"A few my everyday bones got broken a bit- ow." she groaned and saw the Barbatos fighting the Astaroth Origin.

"So any idea why that red Gundam is fighting the other one?" she asked, seeing the Barbatos and the Astaroth Origin clash their respective weapons.

"I wish I knew, Sunset." Twilight replied, "But I hope that red robot can explain a few things about it once this is over."

The Astaroth Origin side dashes out of the way from the swing of the Barbatos and thrust its sledgehammer at it, breaking a few chunks from the armor. The Barbatos twirl its mace and swung upward at it, but was blocked by the wing binders. The Astaroth Origin use its left hand and punch at the Barbatos' face causing it to stumble as the Astaroth snatch the mace and swing both the sledgehammer and the mace in a dual wield style that the Barbatos didn't get the chance to react. The sledgehammer retracts and a red sword appears and the Astaroth pierce through the neck, immobilizing it.

"Aw man, I just recreate the scene from the final episode of IBO......." Astaroth moaned a bit. Then the Barbatos knee down and laid on the ground, turning into another metal totem. The Astaroth grab the part of the sledgehammer and reattach it back.

Then it turns to Sunset and Twilight as Sunset place her hand to protect Twilight but she reassures her which calm her down a bit but skeptical.

"You all right?" Astaroth asked and she only nodded.

"I don't understand, why would you protect us?" Sunset asked. 

"I had to. You girls just enter into a battlefield and it's no place for you and your friends to be part of it," it replied.

"We had to. We're on a mission to stop Chrono before he destroys our home." Twilight said.

Before Astaroth can reply, he notices large explosion was heard and turned to the site of it.

"Shit, not good," it growled then turned to them. Twilight slowly nodded and gave the healing orb to Sunset, the magic of it begin to heal her"The healing orb will burn away the damage you gotten. I'll go stop the other Gundams before your friends will get hurt."

With that, the Astaroth Origin flew to the battlefield, leaving Sunset and Twilight behind.

"We can't leave our friends like this," Sunset said and Twilight nodded. Both of them follow the Astaroth Origin to the site where their friends continue fighting the Gundams.







"WHAAAAAA!!!!" both Rainbow and Applejack were sent flying to the ground from the explosion the Strike Freedom and the Ez-8 created. Both groaned in pain and in turn coughing a bit from the dust. 

"Aw man, I don't think I can go on like this....." Rainbow groaned seeing the Strike Freedom and the Ez-8 walking towards them from the ashes.

"Me either.......they're just too powerful." Applejack rubbing her injured arm, fearing the inevitable of their demise once the two Gundams came out and point their weapons at them. Both of them closed their eyes, ready for their death. But a loud noise was heard and the Ez-8's machine gun was destroyed. Then at a quick notice, the Strike Freedom look up into the sky and saw the Astaroth Origin diving towards it. The Strike Freedom fires all of its dragoons at the Astaroth Origin but was deflected upon contact.

"Sorry, but beam weapons don't work on Gundam Frames units from IBO. They're completely ineffective since they have nanolaminate armor." Astaroth said and grab one of the dragoons and throw at the wings of the Strike Freedom, causing the dragoons to drop down to the ground. Then the Astaroth slam its sledgehammer onto the head, but the Strike Freedom grasp it quickly.

"Too slow!" With a quick side dash, the Astaroth Origin pulled out the sledgehammer and slash at the chest but due to the Phase Shift Armor, it had no effect.

"Good thing I picked this up from the RX-78-2 Gundam since I studied about Phase Shift Armor units from Cosmic Era." the Astaroth Origin pulled a hidden beam saber from the backside and the Strike Freedom tried to fire the rail cannons but the Astaroth dodge it quickly and place the saber on the back then activate it causing it to explode make into another metal totem.

The part of the sledgehammer was floating up until the Astaroth Origin grabs it and threw it at the Ez-8 which was blocked at first but the impact causing the shield to break into pieces. The Astaroth rush towards the Ez-8 and impaled its claw-like hand and rip out a part of the frame of the Ez-8 causing it to drop down dead resulting in the same fate as the Strike Freedom. 

Rainbow and Applejack were in shocked of the brutality the red Gundam did and the Astaroth Origin glance at them before reattached the sledgehammer back to the γ Nanolaminate Sword then change into flight mode and headed to the next battle.

After a few silence, Rainbow only muster up a sentence "Okay that's scary."

"No kidding, Rainbow." Applejack agreed to her friend "That Gundam just gone savage at the others."

"Applejack!! Rainbow!!" Sunset's voice was heard and they turned and saw their friends rushing towards them.

"Girls, are you all right?" Twilight asked only to see Applejack still grasp her injured arm. 

"Not really, my arm got shot-ow!" Applejack groaned. 

"Here, the red Gundam gave me this. It supposed to heal all injuries." Twilight gave the healing orb and the red aura coursing through her, healing her arm until it was back to normal. 

Applejack feels a relieved sighed and she unwrapped her injured arm and saw her arm is completely healed.

"Wow, my arm felt better. So any idea what's that red Gundam?" 

"No idea, but we need to focus on finding our friends. If that Gundam going to stop the others, then we need to follow it and save our friend."

The girls nodded and rushed to the find their friend and the Astaroth Origin.







Rarity and Pinkie Pie kneed down, feeling exhausting from fighting the Unicorn and the Hi-Nu. Both of their crystal guardian clothes were torn and shred from the longing battle. Rarity's magic has been extinguished from overused and Pinkie's hair was flat, feeling the pain from the battle. 

"Uh, Rarity, we're not making progress here...even though I...." she breathing heavily "even though.....we put.....our effort."

"I know, darling" she sighed and saw the Gundams glaring at them, floating high "But I ran out of my magic to help."

"Mine too."

Just as they about to charge at them, a loud noise was heard and the two girls saw the Astaroth Origin charging at them. Both of them point their weapons at it and the Astaroth Origin dodges quickly and pulled out a shotgun on the left arm and fire at the back which both of them were surprised at this.

"What is that?" Pinkie exclaimed at the battle as the three Gundams dive down and begin firing at each other while clashing their blades.

"No idea, darling!" Rarity groaned tried to get up "but we shouldn't be there Pinkie! Let's get out of here!"

"Right!" 

Pinkie help Rarity up and both rushed out of the battlefield. The Astaroth Origin look backed and nodded then focus on the battle. The Unicorn fire the beam magnum and the Hi-Nu deploy the fin funnels at it. The red Gundam dodge quickly from the onslaught of the fin funnels while staying clear of the shot fire from the Unicorn. 

"Okay, need to call a support." The Astaroth use the metal totem and in a bright light, the RX-78-2 Gundam appeared then it points its weapon at the Hi-Nu. 

"Good, handle the Hi-Nu. I'll take care of the Unicorn Gundam," he ordered and both of them charging at them.

While Pinkie continues helping Rarity up and walking, both of them notice Rainbow, Applejack, Twilight, and Sunset coming towards.

"Girls, you're all right!!" Rarity shouted. 

"Yeah, we were so worried about you that those meanie robots might k-word you all!" Pinkie said.

"Trust me, we're a-okay, Pinkie." Rainbow said then helping Rarity "What about you two?"

"Well, not good. Those Gundams are really powerful." Rarity groaned.

"Same for the other two me and Applejack fought and the ones Sunset and Twilight," Rainbow replied.

"But we got help. From an another Gundam." Twilight said.

"You mean the red robot?" Pinkie asked and Sunset nodded.

"But why would the red Gundam fight to defend us?" Rarity asked and the others shrugged.

"You guess good as mine, sugarcube." Applejack said. "Sunset and Twilight said that red Gundam just appeared out of nowhere and save them."

"In the meanwhile, we need to find Fluttershy and Starlight," Sunset said.

"But how do we find them?" Rainbow asked.

Just as they about to answer, the Hi-Nu crashed down on the ground, beaten up and destroyed, turning into a metal totem. The Unicorn point its beam magnum at the Astaroth but threw a repeated knuckle sandwich at the face, making it lose focus. Then with a quick pull, it fires the shotgun at the chest, exploding in the process and the Astaroth retrieve another metal totem.

"Thank you." With that, the RX-78-2 Gundam turned back into its metal totem before the Astaroth flew into another battlefield.

"We need to follow it!" Sunset said and the girls follow the Astaroth Origin. 







The Wing Gundam Zero kept dodging the bullet lines and dive towards Fluttershy, slice the beam rifle in half. Fluttershy screamed and she dodges out of the way.

"Fluttershy!" Starlight shouted and she fires the railgun at the Wing Zero only for the Wing Zero's angel wings block it and leaving it unscratched.

"How can its wings be durable?!" Starlight shouted in confusion.

Before she can answer, the Wing Zero slash the railgun in half causing Starlight to stumble on the floor. 

"Not good," she mumbled and Fluttershy rushed to save her but the Wing Zero took notice and heading towards her.

"Fluttershy, LOOK OUT!" Starlight screamed and Fluttershy's eyes widened at this and as everything went slow, the Wing Zero prepares to slash her, but unnoticed, a sledgehammer was heading towards the Wing Zero and smack into the face, causing it to crash into the ground, leaving Fluttershy shocked.

"Fluttershy, are you all right?" Starlight rushed to her side and she nodded. They turned to the direction of the sledgehammer and the Astaroth Origin appeared, much to their surprise.

"Who's that?" Fluttershy asked in wonder as the Astaroth Origin charging at the Wing Zero, grabbing its sledgehammer and pull out its shotgun.

With the Wing Zero got up, it grips the beam saber and charging at it. The Astaroth Origin fire its shotgun but was deflected from the wings and ricochet around, causing a fright from the two girls. 

"Fluttershy, we need to find cover!" Starlight said and she nodded. Both girls headed far from the battle between the angel and the demon, clashing their melee weapons on each other. Once they found an abandoned building, they hid behind it and watching the battle.

The Astaroth Origin slam its sledgehammer at the Wing Zero but because of the speed difference, the angel Gundam dodge out of the way and slash at it. However, due to the Nanominte armor's resistance to lasers, it only has little effect on it. The Astaroth turned and grab the right arm of the Wing Zero and twirl it around and slam to the ground. The Wing Zero fire its remaining machine guns but the Astaroth pull its sledgehammer and slam it into the face but the wings block it and the Wing Zero flap its wings, knocking it down to the ground. The Astaroth grab a car to hold its ground and switch into its flight mode and begin charging at it. The Wing Zero pull out a pole and begin swinging it at the red Gundam. With quick reflexes, the Astaroth Origin swoop its head under and throw a punch at the face. Then repeating the process again, it grabs the v-fin and pulls towards the barrel of the shotgun, firing it and destroying it and turning it into another metal totem.

"Okay, that should be the last of it," Astaroth mumbled and all of the metal totems from defeated Gundams were drawn towards its hands and it grasps all of it. "Now I got enough to stop Chrono." 

"Hold up, buster!" a voice stopped it and the red Gundam turned and saw the eight girls coming towards it.

"Just where do you think you're going?" Rainbow asked.

"Stopping Chrono in the Extreme Universe." Astaroth bluntly replied.

"Extreme Universe?" all of the girls asked the same thing.

"Another dimension created from an unknown energy anomaly." it replied, "Its begin to terraforming this homeland too."

"Terra-what now?" Rainbow asked.

"Terraforming is the process of transforming a planet or place into an exact location or what. Mostly exist in science fiction." Twilight said and turned to Astaroth "But wait, how can this dimension terraforming ours?"

"Chrono is using the gauntlet's power to expand his own kingdom in the dimension. As such, the town and everything on Earth will be turned into data, including every lifeform around."

"WHAT?!" the girls shrieked at this.

"Which is why I had to go alone. I'm the only one who can stop him." Astaroth about to leave, but Sunset and Rainbow blocked it even on the air.

"Hold up, buddy. We're on a mission to find Chrono and we're not going to sit there and twiddling our thumbs." Rainbow said.

"Rest assured that Chrono will be fine. I will handle this." Astaroth about to take flight but was caught in a magic bubble and a  diamond wrap from Twilight and Rarity.

"Look, we appreciate saving us, but Rainbow's right. We don't know why Chrono's doing this but we do know that we're not giving up on a friend." Twilight said.

"This isn't a game, young miss. This is a war. Meaning you kill or be killed." Astaroth pointed out.

"Don't say the K-word!" Pinkie shouted, "You're making the readers having a mental tick!"

All of them gave Pinkie an odd glance at her random antics. Sunset came towards Astaroth.

"Look, we know this is Equestria Magic that Chrono is using so we're responsible for it too to get it back before our world is destroyed. We do know the risk of it so we're willing to go through."

Astaroth look at the girls, having a determination expression even Fluttershy too. After a few thought, Astaroth nodded.

"Very well, but once we enter, you do as I say. No question ask unless necessary." 

The girls nodded and Twilight and Rarity lift their magic off of it.

"So sugarcube, care to give your name to us?" Applejack asked.

"Gundam Astaroth. Just Astaroth is fine," it replied.

"'Astaroth?' You mean your name is based on a demon name of a Great Duke of Hell from Ars Goetia?" Twilight asked and it nodded.

"The same for the Barbatos you and your friend fought."

"In that case, I'm Sunset Shimmer and these are my friends, Twilight Sparkle," she gave a friendly wave "Rainbow Dash" the sports queen gave a fist bump "Applejack" the farm girl nodded "Fluttershy" Fluttershy hid her hair a bit "Rarity" the fashionista gave a formal bow "Starlight Glimmer" Starlight gave nervous hello "and-"

"HimynameisPinkiePie.I'msogladthatyousaveusfromthemeaniegundamrobotsandcanyoutellmemoreaboutyourselflikewhatkindofweaponyouhaveohhorwheredidyoucomefromormaybe-" Pinkie's ranting was interrupted upon Astaroth place its hand on her mouth.

"I appreciate your enthusiasm but right now we need to go to the abandoned motel. That's where the portal is."

With that, the girls follow Gundam Astaroth to the abandoned motel.





Ex was furious, to say the least. To see all of six Gundams, the top best being bested by eight girls and Astaroth. In his rage, he slams his fist onto his throne.

"HOW?! My Gundams have the advantage but the Astaroth Origin came swoop in and destroyed my favorites!"

Ex groaned in anguish the sighed. 

"No matter, I got more where they come from. Let them come for their biggest mistake is getting in my way!" he turned and multiple eyes light up.

"And with my power terraforming the Earth, my world is about to complete soon."





After going through half of the army of the GMs and Zakus, they reached towards the abandoned motel.

"All this time, and we never thought Chrono would be here in that place," Twilight said.

"No kidding, Twilight, this place is deserted and empty." Applejack said.

"We better get going," Sunset said and the girls and Astaroth headed inside. While trying to watch their steps due to the condition of the building, Astaroth looks around at the office.

"It's got to be here. I sense a portal somewhere." Astaroth mumbled.

He glances around and the girls look around but having a distressed look, it guessed that they even can't find it.

"Ugh, where's the portal?" Rainbow groaned. "How can we find it if there are so many rooms."

Astaroth looking around then begin scanning for any energy signature until the scanners show a particular one upstairs.

"Got it." Astaroth said and the girls turned to it "Upstairs in room 283."

With that, they follow the red Gundam to the room and once it opens, they can see a backpack laid on the ground and food scattered and rotten.

"Ugh, why does Chrono have to live in this dump?!" Rarity gagged. "It's like a hobo house!"

"Girls, look!" Starlight pointed and they saw a portal open.

"That must be the portal to that 'Extreme Universe' Chrono is residing in," Sunset said.

"Yes, and I had a hunch that the portal is open to set a trap," Astaroth said.

"How do you know?" Twilight said.

"Calling it a hunch." 

"Still, we need to be careful. So are you girls ready?" Astaroth asked and the girls looked at each other and nodded.

"Very well then."

With that, Astaroth enters in, then Sunset, Fluttershy, Twilight, Starlight, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash follow through as the portal closed.

Once they step into the portal, their eyes (except Astaroth) widened at the sight of this dimension in shocked and scared.

"Wasn't expecting this to be this.......creepy."
