" Aw man why the hell does my whole body feel like a bull just ran me over?" I asked as I slowly opened my eyes and rubbed my throbing head. Once my eyes were open I was shocked at what I saw before me. I expected to see something, like a tree or something I don't know, but what I was meet with was a black void of nothingness.

I blinked a couple times in a vein attempt to dispurse the void that laid out before me. After serveral attempts of trying to wake up from what I hoped was a weird dream I asked," um okay, where in the world did the world go and why am I here?" As soon as I said this almost like clock work a mysterious voice said," This place is where life and death intersect with one another."

I quickly turned to face the source of the voice and was meet with a man in a rabe whos face was covered. He kinda looked like a member of organization Xiii from the Kingdome Hearts games.

" What in the world does that mean and who are you?" I asked the mysterious figure.

The figure then let out a small chuckle and said," Oh pardon me my friend let me introduce myself." The figure then removed his hood to show and old man. The old man then bowed with one hand over his chest and said," I am the one who guides the dead to the world beyond, I am the one and only Death."

I could hardly belive what I was hearing, but then agian it wouldn't be the weirdest thing to happen me today.

After getting  over the shock of meeting  this so called death I asked," So just to get things clear you are the guy that reapes souls, that Death?" Death then gave me a devilish smile and said," The one and only."

I had no words, well except for the word "um" that is.

After a couple of seconds, and a small mental breakdown, I asked," Mind telling me how I went out because I am kind of curious."

Death then turned his head to the side and asked," do you not remember?"

I just shock my head and said," nope not a single clue."

Death then lowered his head and said," You, my friend, died in a fight to protect a young girl who was being  attacked by a group of men who wished to do some horrible things to her."

As Death told me this I began to remember the fight.

I recalled how a girl no older then sixteen years old being mugged by two fully grown men. At first I didn't want to get involved because it wasn't my fight. But no matter how much I wanted to just walk away and pretend that  didn't see anything I just couldn't do it. So I decided to charge in and help the girl. Too make a long story short the girl made it out of the whole thing. Me on the other hand not so much, let's just say I got a knife to the chest.

I then looked at what I guessed was the sky and chuckled. As I was chuckling I said," Man at least I went out how I have always wanted to." Death then, with raised eyebrow, asked me," What do you mean by that my friend?"

I then turned my attention to Death and pointed at him with a closed fist and said," I went out fighting." For a guy like me that  is all I could ask for."

Death then broke out into a strange laugh and said," You sure are one strange man you know that."

I shrugged and said," I don't know about that but thank you I guess." I then looked around at the world and asked," So what now, do I go to Heaven, the other place, or do I just stay here?"  

As soon as I said this Death smiledand said," Well normally you would be sent to the land of the dead. However you are a special case, a special case indeed." Death started to circle around me as he continued to talk. "Due to your nobal actions I Death, the guide of the dead, shall grant you a second chance at life."

I couldn't understand what I was being told so I asked," What do you mean by " second chance at life?" Death then smiled at me and said," What I mean by that is simple, I am giveing you a new life for you to live."

I took a step back in sheer shock and asked," wait you mean that I get to live again." Death then gave me a quick nod as a way of telling me that I was correct.

I then smiled widely and said," Really that is so beyond cool. I can't belive it I get to go back home." I then started to dance a sort of happy dance.

But while I was dancing Death said," well not exactly my dear friend."

" What but I thought you said I get to be alive again?" I asked in confusion and just a tiny bit of annoyance.

Death then sighed and said," You are getting a new chance at life; however, your life will be in a world far different from the one you haved lived."

I raised my eyebrow and asked," What does that even mean and how exactly is it diferent from the one I have been living in?"

Death then said," Well there are no human beings in this world and it is made up of what your kind call mythical beasts. Which mean that you will have to take on an all new and improved form inorder to better fit in."

I could hardly belive what I  was hearing at the moment. For most of my life I had been reading myths from all around the world that I once called home, and I loved it. So when I heard I was going to a world filled with mythical beasts I was so happy.

I then smiled and asked," So do I get to chose my new form or are you picking it for me?" Too which Death just shrugged and said," You can if you wish, just name the creature and you shall become it  when you get to the new world my friend."

I turned my head to the side and thought of what beat that I would like to become, and due to my nerdy back ground it was kind of easy. I then leaned in close to Death and told him the beast that I wished to become.

Death then, with a raised eyebrow, said," Okay if that is really your choice the it shall be done, but just so you know the beat that you wish to become  is strange even for as far this world concerned."

I smiled as I pointed at myself and said" Well as you can see I am not exactly the normal type at all." Which made Death burst out into a deep and some what horrifying laughter, honestly never thought that would happen but hay it did.

Once Death stoped his laughing he said," You truely are a strange oe you know that." Death then gave a nod and with pride he said," Very well then I will grant your request."

Just  as Death said this my entire body started to glow with a white aura. As I was inveloped by the aura I said," So this is it I guess, looks like it is time for me to get started with my new life."

Death smiled and then gave me a quick nod and said," Yes it would seem like it is time for you to start your new life." Death then put his hand out for me to shake and with a bright smile said," Until we meet again my newfound mortal friend."

After a few moment I took Deaths hand and happly said," Until we meet again my friend,  which hopefuly wont be for a very long while." Then the whole world, that was once black as the night, was drowned in a ocean of light. As I started to disapear from that world I said," Watch out world world cause I am comeing for ya."

After what seemed like an eternity in that white void a plethera of colors attacked my eyes. The many different colors were a bit of a shock to my eyes, due to the fact that all I could see prior was white, so I had to shut my eyes tight as a way to help them adjust.

I rubbed my eyes to try and ease the pain in my eyes until finally I was able to open them even just a little.

Once my eyes were fully opean, and well adjusted to all the colors, I looked around at my surrounding.

What I saw was a dark forest that looked like it was taken right out of a fantasy slash horror movie. I then said, okay this is an improvment  on the sheer white and black that I am used to; however, this place just screams danger and I can't say I like it."

I then looked around at the trees, and other flora, that looked like they belonged in a swamp rather than the forest.

As I was taking in my suroundings I noticed a tiny pool of water not but a few inches away from me. I then leaned over the pool to see if death gave the form that I had asked for.

What I saw both made me really happy and kind of mad. The form that I saw  in the pool was the Four Tailed Beast, Son Goku. However to my displeasure it wasn't the giant awesome tailed beast but his tiny chibi form.

I just looked at myself in the pool of water taking in my new, little, form. From the tip of my four tails to the tip of my horns, or eyebrows I couldn't tell which.

After I got a good look at myself I sighed and said," Man when I asked to become Son Goku I pictured the giant hulking beast one." I then raised my hands, or paws in this case, to my face and made a pair of fists. I then punched the ground with both fists and said," No I just had to become the tiny one, the one with such little power. Thanks for nothing Death!"

*back in the dark void with Death*

Death was watching the tiny tailed beast using a crystal ball. Death chuckled and said," Well you didn't say that you wanted to be the giant version so its not my fault."  Death then covered his mouth to stop the laughter and said," Besides it is much more fun to watch you work for that form."

*back in the forest*

I sighed and with the sound of defeat in my voice I said," Okay it might not be what I wanted but it is better than nothing." I crossed my arms and asked," Now what should my next move from here be, should I try to find my way out of here or should I stay here?"

Just as soon as thouse words left my mouth a load growl could be heard behind me. I turned to the source of the growling but saw nothing but shrubs and trees. I then asked," Um... is someone their, perferably something that doesn't want Tailed Beast for lunch?"

As I stared out at the forest I noticed what seemed to be a pair of bright yellow eyes glaring at me. I gulped in fear and said," Okay um, that is really, really creepy."

As I stood there frozen in fear the yellow eyes started to move closer to me and out of the shadows. Once the eyes were fully out of the shadows I could see tht they were much more then scary eyes. What I saw wasa wolf about twice my size. Oh and not to mention, IT WAS MADE OF FREAKING WOOD!"

I could hardly belive what I saw, a wolf made of timber, a Timber Wolf you could say.

If I wasn't so afriad for my life I would more than likely be so amazed right now.

As I looked at the wolf, or Timberwolf as I will call it, slowly make its way closer to me I readied myself incase it attacked which sure enough it did.

The Timberwolf had began its assulet bycharging full force at me like a bull. 

I stood shocked as the beast charged at me, my mind racing a mile a minute trying to figure out what I should do. However when the Timberwolf was about three seconds away from getting to me my body just took action and moved me out of its path. Because of this the creature completely missed me and ended up coliding with a tree, which made the Timberwolf fall to the ground.

I starred at the colopsed monster for a second before I started to run as fast as I could.

As I ran I said," Okay stay calm and think this through, I can find a way out of this mess." It then hit me like a bolt of lightning, my ticket out of this was to use the trees to escape. I then ran to the closest tree to me and climbed up it as fast as I could.

Once I reached the top of the tree I started to breath in and out fast. Once I managed to catch my breath I asked," Okay now that I am up here where, and what, should I do now?"

I then looked at the sea of tree tops and said," okay that can work."

I then jumped from treetop to treetop, only stopping to see if the Timberwolf was still behind me. And surprise surprise the barky beast was still on my tail, or tails I should say. This sight just made me growl and say," Oh come on whats a guy, or Tailed Beast, have tot do to get rid of this branch for brians."

I then continued to jump from tree to tree until I felt the tree I was standing on shake. The shaking caused me to loss my balance and fall to the ground. Once I was on the ground I saw what caused me to fall, and that was both the Timberwolf that had been trailing me but another one as well.

I just growled and said," Oh come on like one wasn't bad enough, oh no I just had to get another."

The two Timberwolves turned to face me and snarled at me.  I snarled back at them and in a venomis tone said," Alright I am sick and tired of this dumb game of catch the monkey!" I then started beat my chest and scream,"  COME ON THEN, COME AND GET ME!" To which they did by chargeing at me full force.

As the wolves came closer to me I could fell something start to stir inside me, Adn when they were about a coule feet from me a small ord formed in my open mouth and shot out. In the split seconds that the orb was flying I noticed that the orb was a Bijuu Bomb. However I didn't get much time to bask in what I just did before it came into contact with the wolves and exploded.

The explosion  destroyed both the wolves and sent me flying into a near by tree. When I came into contact with the tree my vision started to go black. Right before my vision went ompletly black I managed to croak out," Okay not the way that I wanted my first day in a new world to go." Then everything just went, for what I think is the third, pitch black.
> Chapter 2: News Faces

I had no idea on how long that I have been passed out from that explosion when I finally started to wake up. At first everything I looked at was really blurry, which might be because of being unconscious for a while or the fact that I hit my head with enough force to cause a concussion. But when my vision settled I was shocked at what I saw, a normal bedroom and I was in a bead in the center of it.

As I looked around at the room I was asking to myself,” Okay how did I get here, I was in a forest before right?” I then tried to sit up but as soon as I moved my body a huge wave of pain, especially in my head, came over me which made me screech in pain.

After a few seconds passed a bright yellow pegasus thing came running into the room and almost tackle hugged me. As she held me she said” Shh shh it’s okay you’re safe here.”

You would think that I would be freaking out more but in all honesty I was just to darn comfy. Her fur was so soft and warm it felt like I was being held by a mother, or a giant fuzzy blanket. I was honestly really sad when she released me from the embrace, I might have even stretched out my arms to show I wanted another hug.

After the second hug, seriously those hugs were really amazing, the yellow pegasus then asked,” So are you feeling any better?” I gave her a quick nod and said,” Yeah that really helped thank you.”

The yellow pegasus seemed to be taken back by my speaking a little bit but soon regained its composure. The equine then asked,” So can you tell me your name and how you got hurt the way you did?”

I paused for a second to think of what I should say until finally I said,” My name in Son Goku, but you can just call me Son. As for the second thing  well I kinda exploded.”

The yellow pegasus covered her mouth in shock and asked,” Oh my you poor thing what caused the explosion?” To which i said,” Oh that was me.”

The yellow pegasus looked at me in a mixture of fear, question, and worry. She then asked,” What do you mean by that, how did you cause the explosion?” I then shrugged and said,” I don’t really know.” Okay I know this is kind of a lie but when you think about it really isn’t because I had no idea on how I performed the Bijuu Bomb.

The yellow then lowered her head as she sighed and when she raised it back up she said,” Okay then at least you are safe now.”  I then asked,” Pardon me but since I answered your questions do you mind answering a couple of mine?” The yellow pegasus then said,”Oh my of course you can.” She then smiled warmly at me as she sat down next to me on the bead and asked,” What do you want to know?”

I smiled back at her and asked,” Okay do you mind telling me who you are, how I got here, and how long I have been out for?”

The yellow pegasus smiled as she said,” Oh well my name is Fluttershy and as for your other two questions well I don’t know how long you have been unconscious. As for how you got here well I saw a lot of smoke coming from the Everfree Forest and decided to go and see if any animals were hurt and when I got there I found you and brought you back to my home.”

I then looked around at the room again and said,” Oh that makes sense.” I then looked at Fluttershy and said,” Thank you for helping me miss Fluttershy it means alot to me.”

Fluttershy smiled at me warmly and nuzzled the side of my head while saying,” You have no need to thank me, I love helping out tiny animals in need.” This made me sigh because I was still kind of sad that Death made me the chibi version of Son Goku and not the giant hulking beast.

Fluttershy seemed to notice my sadness and asked,” Is something wrong Son you seem a bit sad.” I shock my head and said,” Oh no I am fine I was just thinking about something.” Just then my stomach started to growl loudly which caused Fluttershy to giggle and said,” It would seem that you are hungry, want to head down and grab a bite to eat?”

I gave her a quick nod as I tried to stand up so we could go downstairs but as soon as I started to stand a wave of dizziness and pain washed over me.  I was forced to sit back down to just try and regain my balance. Fluttershy looked at me with worry and said,” Oh my you mustn't try and move you are still wounded and weak.” Fluttershy then got off of the bead and put me on her back.

Fluttershy  then smiled and said,” Until you are fully healed I will carry you; however from what I have seen thus far that won't take long.” I blinked and as I turned my head to the side and asked,” Um what does that mean?”

She looked at me like I had just said the weirdest thing that had ever been said which just made even more curious. She then said,” I am talking about your rampant healing ability.” I then blinked and asked,” My heal to the what now, since when have I had that?”

Just then it hit me that maybe with this new form came a healing factor like what Naruto had in the show. The only problem with that hypothesis was the fact that I am a tailed beast while Naruto was a Jinchuuriki. But hay who am I to look a gift horse in the mouth.

After we descended the stairs into the living room I asked,” So what do you have too eat cause I am hungry enough to eat about anything?”  Fluttershy smiled warmly and said,” WellI have some nice bananas for you if you would like?”

I chuckled at what she said,” I wouldn’t mind some bananas but just so you know I like more foods than just that.” Fluttershy snickered a little bit as we entered the kitchen and said,” Okay I will try to remember that.”

Once inside the kitchen Fluttershy craned her neck around to grabbed me by the nap of my neck and set me in a chair at the table. After she set me down in the chair she went over to her counter and grabbed me a bushel of bananas. Once she got thous and placed them in front of me she asked,” So would you mind telling me a couple things, if it’s not too much trouble I mean.”

I gave her a nod as I peeled one of the bananas and said,” Sure shot.” Fluttershy smiled and asked,” Would you please tell me how old you are i there are any others like you?”

I swallowed the bit of banana I was eating and said,” Well I guess you could say that I am a child.” Which was kind of true sense I was just brought into this  world a day or two ago. I then said,” And as far as others like me are concerned, well that I don’t really know.” I had no way of knowing if I was the first person who was given a chance like this or chose to become a tailed beast.

Fluttershy looked at me with sadness in her eyes and said,” Oh dear I am so sorry to hear that, you must be awfully lonely.” I took another bite of my banana and said,” I guess so.” Fluttershy then smiled and said,” Well if you want you can stay here with me and my animal friends, I know that you would love it here.”

My eyes shot open as I started to choke on my banana and once I managed to get down the piece of banana I asked,” Um say what now?” Fluttershy smiled and said,” well I was thinking since you are just a child and don’t have any family you could stay here with me.

I was about to say something when a nock on the front door could be heard. Fluttershy looked in the direction of the front door and said,” I will be right back Son just sit tight.” I chuckled nervously and said,” Oh please don’t worry about me.”
As Fluttershy went to the front door and opened it I could hear another voice. The voice then said,” Hey Flutters what gives I thought we were supposed to go flying up to Cloudsdale.” Fluttershy then said,” Oh really I am so sorry but I found this hurt animal and have been taking care of it.” The voice then asked,” Really what kind of animal is it.” Fluttershy then said,” It is a red four tailed monkey.”

When she said this the voice the screamed out happily,” Really where is it?!” When I heard this I honestly gulped in fear, especially when the voice came flying in. I honestly could believe what I was seeing, a blue pegasus with a rainbow mane and tail was looking right at me.

I raised my paw and said,” Um hello there.” The pegasus then smiled widely and said,” Oh my gosh you look so awesome.” I chuckled nervously and said,” Thank you I guess.”

The pegasus smirked at me and asked,” So who are you and better yet what are you?” I cleared my throat and said,” Well my name is Son Goku and I am a tailed beast.” The pegasus turned her head to the side and asked,” What is a tailed beast?” I raised my tails up and and said,” Well I am a beast and I have multiple tails so what do you think.” This bit of snark made the pegasus laugh and say,” I like you, names Rainbow Dash by the way.”

Rainbow Dash stuck out her hoof for me to shake which I did. Once we did Rainbow Dash turned to Fluttershy and asked,” So Flutters mind telling me where you found this guy and if he is staying here with you?”

Fluttershy smiled warmly at Rainbow and said,” Well I found him unconscious in the Everfree forest due to an explosion, which he caused.” Fluttershy then looked at me and said,” As for him staying here, well that is up to him.”


I sighed as I rubbed the back of my head  and said,” I don’t know Fluttershy I thought that I might try to live on my own for a little while.” Fluttershy then looked at me with concern in her eyes and said,” I understand but I still think you should consider staying here with me, and from what you told me you are a child and every child needs a home.” Fluttershy then gave me a sort of sad puppy look which would bring even the fiercest creature under her thumb, or hoof I guess.

I sighed and said,” Okay I will think about it but I will not promise anything.” Just when I said this Fluttershy smiled brightly as she flew up to me and hugged me tightly. Meanwhile Rainbow Dash, who was flying above me rolled her eyes and said,” Okay now that all that mushy stuff is out of the way why don’t you tell me about this explosion that he caused.”

After about thirty minutes of me explaining Rainbow Dash said,” So let me get this straight  while you were facing off against Timberwolves you caused an explosion that not only got rid of them but knocked you out cold.” Rainbow Dash then burst out into laughter and said,” That is both really cool and really funny.”
I puffed out my cheeks in anger which Fluttershy took notice of and said,” Rainbow Dash that is really mean of you, now apologize to Son.” To add in a bit more force she stared at Rainbow Dash with a glare that scared the life out of me. Apparently Rainbow felt the same because she soon turned to me and said,” I am sorry Son.”

I smirked at this and with a cocky tone in my voice said,” Oh I forgive you Rainbow Dash.” Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy seemed to take note of my tone and both of them glared at me to which I said,” I’m sorry.”

After a bit more talking another knock on the door could be head to which Fluttershy went to answer. This time I decided to follow her, which was a lot less painful now, and see who was at the door and when she opened it I saw and equine with both wings and horn. The sight of this creature just filled me with so many questions popped into my head, like what on earth is she.

The equine looked at Fluttershy with worry and said,” Fluttershy good your in, we need your help in town square.” Fluttershy let out a sigh of worry and asked,” Oh my what is wrong Twilight and how can I help?”

Twilight looked her dead in the eyes and said,” A strange fox is running a muck in town square.” Fluttershy turned her head to the side and asked,” How is it strange Twilight?” Twilight then light her horn and a image of the fox appeared, and to my surprise it was Kurama the nine tailed fox. Twilight then continued to say,” For some reason this fox has nine tails.”

After finally managed to regain my senses I said,” I know that fox, he is a tailed beast like me and is name is Kurama.” Twilight then looked at me with a mixture of fear, surprise, and intrigue and asked,”  Um Fluttershy what, and who, is that four tailed monkey?”

I raised my tails like I had done for Rainbow Dash and said,” My name is Son Goku the four tailed beast.” I then padded closer to Twilight and asked,” Are you sure the fox has nine tails, are you sure that is Kurama?” Twilight gave me a somewhat reluctant nod and said,” Yes the fox has nine tails but I am not sure what its name is.”

I looked at Fluttershy and asked,” Fluttershy please can you let me come with you I need to know if it is him, if it is Kurama?” Fluttershy looked at me reluctantly and said,” I don’t know Son it could be dangers.”

I growled at this and said,”  Well if you wont then I will go myself.” I then burst out of Fluttershy’s home past both Twilight and Fluttershy. I had no idea where I was going but all I knew was that I need to find Kuruma.

After a bit of running I came to the outside of Ponyville and said,” I guess this is the place  but how do I find him?” Just then a wave washed over somehow letting me know how to find Kurama and the best course to take. I shock my head and said,” Okay so that is useful, weird but useful.”

As I followed the directions that my mind had shown me a deep voice could be heard saying,”I know you are there. Come here.”

I stopped in my tracks and in a low voice asked,” Is he looking for me, but how does he know that I am here?” However before I could spend too much time on that thought the voice yelled,” can you please stop that! I am trying to focus!”

I blinked and asked,” Um okay that is weird.” I then ran to the source of the voice and what I saw was in fact the Nine Tailed Fox Kurama. After a couple seconds Kurama, who was standing on top of a statue surrounded by multi colored equines, spotted me and yelled out, “i could use a bit of help! These ponies won’t leave me alone!”

I blinked for a second and said,” Oh yeah I am on it.” I then started to beat me chest as a way to get the ponies attention, which it did. The ponies turned their gazes to me and a orange pony yelled,” There’s another one of dem varmints get it.”

I gulped when the herd of ponies started charging as me the only thing that I could think to say was,” Mommy.” However right before the ponies were on top Kurama jumped in front of me and said,” he hasn’t even done anything wrong yet? Why are you chasing him? I may have taken apples but it was only because i can’t get anything to eat normally as i have no money. Please just take me. Leave him alone!”

I looked at Kurama and then at the ponies and said,” I don’t think it is wise to antagonize them, they kinda have us outnumbered ten to two.” Kurama grind a sinister grin and said,” good thing i have them outgunned 1000 to one. And that’s just none lethal jutsus.”

I gasped and asked,” You know jutsus really?”

“Made a few as well. Like this one, Lighting style Shock Mines!” Kurama's nine tails then raised up and shot out tiny senbones like hairs filled with lightning chakra which when gives off an shocking explosion when contact his made. I looked in aw at what I saw and said,” That was so cool!”

Kurama smirked and in a smuggish tone said,” that was with just a small trickle of my chakra.” I smiled and said,” You have to teach me!” However before Kurama could say anything a worried voice called out me from behind saying,” Son oh thank goodness.”

I turned to face the voice and was shocked to see Fluttershy flying up to me and Kurama. My eyes started to shrink in fear due to Kurama’s jutsu so I pointed out a place behind us where she could land. Once she landed in the spot I pointed out she glared out me like a mother would and said,” What in the wide world of Equestria were thinking running off like that, you could have been really hurt.”

I lowered my head in shame and said,” I am sorry Fluttershy but I need to find out if it was Kurama Twilight was talking about.”  I then looked around and asked,” Where is Twilight and Rainbow Dash?” Fluttershy sighed and said,” They are back at my cottage watching of my animals.”

Kurama meanwhile looked at the two of us and asked,” so who are you?”

Fluttershy looked at Kurama and said,” Oh I am sorry my name is Fluttershy and you must be this Kurama that Son has been talking about.” Meanwhile the orange pony yelled out,” Flutters be careful with them apple stealing varmints.” Kurama rolled his eyes and said,” I only did that because i was starving and had no food or money. I am willing to work to pay you back.”

Fluttershy gasped and said,” Oh my that is terrible.” Fluttershy then looked at the orange pony and said,” Applejack I will pay for the apple he took if you and the rest of these ponies leave these two alone.” Applejack sighed and said,” Alright Flutters.” Applejack then turned to the ponies and said,” Y’all heard her get outta here.” Which they did in a matter of minutes.

Fluttershy then paid for the apples that Kurama stole. Fluttershy then turned to me and Kurama and said,” Alright boys lets go home.” Kurama raised an eyebrow in confusion and asked,” what just happened? ”

I chuckled and said,” Well Fluttershy just helped me and you out of a bind that is what happened.” I then walked over to Fluttershy and said,” Come on Kurama lets go, oh and don’t forget to neutralize your jutsu.”

Kurama sighed as he released the chakra in the the senbone hairs which left them useless. Kurama then slowly walked up to me and Fluttershy looking not to pleased. Fluttershy smiled at both of us and said,” Okay now you two let’s go home.” Fluttershy then lead us back to her cottage and inside.

Once inside we were greeted by Twilight and Rainbow Dash who in unison asked,” What were you thinking.” I blinked in several times and said,” Um I was thinking that I wanted to find out i the fox you were talking about was Kurama.”

Twilight was just about to say something more but was stopped by Fluttershy saying,” Twilight I think that is enough for now.” Fluttershy then turned to me and said,” Besides it is getting late and I need to know whether they are going stay here or go somewhere else.”

I turned to Kurama and asked,” What do you think Kurama it is getting late?” Kurama sighed as he lowered his head in annoyance and said,”are you a fool? We stay here of course!”

Fluttershy smiled and said,” I am happy to hear that, I have already set up a couple places for you two to sleep.” Fluttershy then picked me up by the nap of my neck and carried me over to a small bead that was in the corner of the room. Kurama meanwhile walked over to a larger bed and with a smirk said,” Now this is more like it! Thanks Fluttershy. This will be the best sleep i have had in many years.”

Fluttershy smiled and said,” Well I am happy to hear that. Now you two need to get some sleep so goodnight.” Me and Kurama gave a quick nod and laid down on are beads to rest. As I lied there starting to fall asleep I thought to myself how weird, but fun, today was. As I thought about that I could hear Kurama’s angry voice in my head say,” can you please keep it down! Your thinking so loud i can't sleep!” As soon as I heard this my mind shut up and fell into a deep sleep.
> Chapter 3: Training Begins Now!

I slept peacefully throughout the night and was only awakened by a little white bunny kicking my side. I slowly turned my head to face the bunny and said,” kick me one more time and I smack you with my tail.” The bunny just glared at me and then rapidly kicked my side so being a tailed beast of my word I smacked him across the room with one of my four tails. This sent the bunny flying into the wall with a thud, which may or may not have brought me a lot of joy.

As I looked at the bunny who was now on the ground I heard a angry voice ask,” Son why did you hit Angel Bunny.” I turned to the voice, which was Fluttershy, and said,” I told the fluff ball to stop kicking me or I would hit it.” Fluttershy glared at me and said,” that is not how we deal with are problems Son, you should have come and gotten me.”

When I was about to say something I heard a growl come from Kurama who it seems me and Fluttershy woke up. Kurama sat up and in a tired and angry voice said,” what is all this racket! I was having a great dream of eating a chicken!”

This made Fluttershy gasp and say,” Kurama that is not the type of talk that I want to hear in my house.” I turned my head to the side and said,” why he needs food and he is an omnivore.” Fluttershy sighed and said,” I know but I take care of a lot of animals here and not all of them are comfortable around animals that eat meat, and I want them to feel as comfortable as possible.

I gave Fluttershy a nod to show that said I understood. Kurama on the other hand just rolled his eyes and said,” well it’s not my fault. I need meat to stay healthy and i just have the arua of a predator. I can try to tone it down at least though.”

Fluttershy smiled and said,” thank you Kurama that is all I am asking for.” Fluttershy then pet the top of his head like you would a dog when it did something good. I smiled brightly and started to picture Kurama wearing a coller. However I forgot that me and Kurama had this sort of mental link so he saw what I thought.

Kurama growled angrily and in a threatening voice said,”one more thought like that and i triple your training.” Fluttershy turned her head to the side and asked,” what are you talking about, what is this training you are talking about.” Kurama looked Fluttershy in the eyes and said,” to control his tailed beast powers and learn how to defend himself. I must teach him or else he could lose control and bad things could happen.”

Fluttershy looked at me with worry and asked,” is this training going to be dangerous Kurama?” Kurama shrugged and in a matter of fact tone said,” not leathly so but it can be. I will do everything i can to reduce the risks.”

Fluttershy hugged me tight and asked,” Son are you okay with this, it sounds like it is going to be very dangerous and painful?” I sighed and said,” Fluttershy I will be fine now can you let me go cause I am really hungry.” Fluttershy let me go from the hug and said,” oh I am sorry Son why don’t you and Kurama come into the kitchen so I can make you something to eat.”

Me and Kurama gave her a quick nod and followed Fluttershy as she walked into the kitchen. I jumped onto the chair on the left side of the table while Kurama jumped onto the one right.

Fluttershy then set a bowl of fruits in front of me and a fish in front of Kurama. Kurama looked at Fluttershy and asked,” what is this?” Fluttershy smiled and said,” Well I can’t give you any chicken but I can give you fish.” Fluttershy then frowned and asked,” why do you not like it?” Kurama sighed as he lowered his head and said,” i never had fish before is all. But worth a taste.”

Fluttershy smiled brightly and said,” that is all I could ask of you Kurama.” Fluttershy then kissed him on the top of head like a mother does when there child does something good. This made me burst into a intense fit of laughter.

Kurama glared at me as I laid on the ground laughing and screamed out,” THAT JUST EARNED YOU DOUBLE TRAINING!” I just continued to laugh my heart out but between each laugh when I had enough air I said,” I regret nothing.”

Fluttershy glared at me and said,” Son it is really rude to laugh at somepony else.” Fluttershy then picked me up like a small child and set me down on the chair. Fluttershy then said,” now you sit there and eat you breakfast or you will be in big trouble.” I blushed at being treated like a small child.

Kurama smirked and in a teasing tone said,” aw I didn’t think you could get any redder than you already were.” I growled and was about to say something when Fluttershy said,” Son, Kurama eat or you are both in trouble.”

We sighed and started to eat the food that she had given us and when we finished we both said,” done.” Fluttershy then walked walked over to us and said,” see how nice it is to eat a meal and not bicker with each other.”

Kurama rolled his eyes and said,” well we are brothers in a sense. So it is normal for us to bicker. But ya it is nice.” Fluttershy smiled and said,” alright you two can go out and do your training.”

I smiled brightly and jumped out of my chair and to the door. Kurama sighed and followed close behind me and when he was behind me he said,” this shall be tough and hard. Are you ready to learn the way of a bijuu shinobi?”

I smiled and said,” HAI SENSEI!” This made Kurama smile as he opened the door with his tail and said,” then be ready. When we leave i want you to run for as long as you can.”

As soon as that door was fully opened I ran as fast as I could out the house. Kurama smirked and ran after me and due to his speed being much greater than mine he caught up to me in mere seconds. Once he caught up to me he said,” i said how long not how fast. You will burn out quicker if you always use full speed. Pace yourself.”

I sighed as slowed down and asked,” Is this better?” Kurama raised an eyebrow to me and in a threatening tone said,” not that slow. Try to keep up a fast but maintabile pace. The speed i used to catch you when you were going at your top speed was my normal battle pace.”

I growled as I started to pick up a somewhat fast speed that I knew I could stay at for a while. After a few hours of running I fell onto the ground and in gaspes said,” body.. hurt.. run.. No more.” Kurama walked over to me and said,” not bad on the speed but i know you can go faster. Take my paw.” Kurama reached out his left paw out for me to take.

I looked up and  weakly grabbed his paw. I groaned and asked,” are we done yet sensei?” Kurama shock his head no and said,” you need more training. Here my chakra will help you. Then when you are back to 100% we can start with chakra training.”

I groaned and said,” Oh come on I am for all intended purposes three days old, can’t you take it a bit easier on me.” Kurama shock his head once again and in a stern voice said,” do you want to hurt your new friends!? You must train!  By the way I am taking it easy on you. The person who sent me here made my training 10 times harder than what you are getting!” I turned my head to the side and asked,” Really who sent you here?’

Kurama sighed and in a low tone said,” i was once human many years ago. But about 30 years ago i died and was seen by the sage of sixth paths. He knew you would need a teacher. So he gave me this form, and powers, and sent me here. So this is training straight from the sage of our art himself.”

I crossed my arms and said,” That is not fair why did you get to meet the sage of sixth paths while I only got to meet Death.” Kurama chuckled and said,” Death needed to send you. He knew i was here to help you. When the time comes for you to gain more power you  will get to meet him.” Kurama closed his eyes tightly and when he opened them again his eyes had changed to look more like a frogs with his normal eye running through it.

I gasped and said,” you can go Sage mode, that is so really cool! You have to teach me how to do that!?” Kurama then closed his eyes again and when he opened them again they were back to normal. Kurama chuckled and said,” in due time.” This just made me cross my arms and puff out my cheeks like a small child.

Kurama sighed and said,” you know the dangers right? Well as your chakra is now the nature energy would overwhelm you and you would turn to stone. Train up your normal chakra first. Patience shall be the key.”

I sighed and said,” fine Kurama sensei I will wait.” I then stretched and asked,” so what are we doing first for my chakra training?” Kurama smiled and said,” well first i need to teach you how our chakra as tailed beasts is different than a normal beings. Do you know the concept of yin and yang?”

I gave him a quick nod and said,” I think so but I am not sure?” Kurama sighed and started to draw in the dirt with his tails the Yin and Yang symbol. As he did this Kurama said,” Yin or physical chakra is what most beings have more of. It is life,breath and energy. Yang on the other hand is what we have loads of. Its is the spiritual side and the so called “dark” half of chakra. Our versions of justus have to use different ratios to anything else. So do you know hand signs?” I just shock my head no rapidly which made Kurama sigh.

Kurama then started to draw all the hand signs and once he was done he said,” these are how you draw on your chakra. Try these while channeling some chakra.” I looked at the signs which were Snake, Ram, Monkey, Boar, Horse, Tiger. After I weaved those signs I shot out a giant fireball from my mouth.

I watched as the fireball went flying towards the everfree forest until it hit it and caught it on fire. I looked at Kurama and asked,” did I just do what I think I did?” Kurama gave me a toothy smile and said,” yup. That was the fireball jutsu.”

I smidly widely as I looked at what I had done but that joy soon turned to regret when I heard a Fluttershy’s voice behind me say,” What in Celestia’s name do you think you are doing Son.” I turned to face Fluttershy who was glaring daggers at me and Kurama.

Fluttershy just stared at us in anger and fear until finally asking,” Kurama what do you two think you are doing?” Kurama turned his head to the side and in matter of factly tone said,” training. Give me a second.” Kurama then weaved a few signs which caused a rush of water to come out of his mouth putting out the fire. After a  few minutes later  the forest is good as new, well it mostly was.

Fluttershy shock her head in disapproval and said,” Kurama that is a very dangerous kind of training and I don’t like the idea of Son taking part of it.” Fluttershy then grabbed me by the nap of my neck and set me on her back. Kurama growled as he used his tails to grab me and set me on his back. Kurama then said,” would you rather he lose control? He must learn this otherwise he could lose control. The normal arts are bad enough if used on accident. But if he figures out a tailed beast arts by accident kiss Equestria goodbye! Trust me he needs to learn our ways.”

Fluttershy glared at Kurama as she grabbed me again and said,” He is only a few days old, I am sure you can wait for him to grow up a bit more.” Kurama then grabbed me again and said,” to wait is to spell doom! The older he gets without training the easier it will be for him to lose control! Plus our maker told me to train him when i got here. The jutsu you saw and all the ones he shall learn for a while are beginner level moves. I won't go to fast but he NEEDS THIS!”

This whole game of pass the four tailed monkey continued until finally I yelled,” WILL YOU TWO STOP ALREADY!” Fluttershy and Kurama looked at me with surprise at my yelling.

I sighed and said,” how about both of you set me down and we talk about this because you two playing pass the monkey is getting very annoying.” Fluttershy, whos back I was on, set me down on the ground between her and Kurama.

I took a deep breath in and out and said,” okay why don’t we stop for the day and the next time we train Fluttershy can supervise and tell us when she thinks we are going a bit overboard.” Fluttershy gave a quick nod while Kurama on the other hand said nothing. After a couple of seconds of Kurama scowling he sighed and said,” one art a day. You may pick every other day shy. That fine with you?”

Fluttershy smiled and said,” alright I can agree to that.” Fluttershy then turned around to face her house and said,” now you two come on in for supper and bed.” Fluttershy then walked back towards her house.

I looked up at Kurama and asked,” so you are going to teach me more jutsu’s when she isn’t looking right?” Kurama smirked wickedly and said,” when we are alone yes. Think of it as a lesson in stealth.” Kurama then took on a more serious look and said,” however i do agree i must choose which jutsus I teach you more carefully.” Kurama then pointed his center most tail at me and said,” Feel that drain?”

I closed my eyes for a second and when I opened them I gave a quick nod to show that I felt it. Kurama smiled and said,” good. For now don't use the fireball jutsu too much. You don't have as big of chakra reserve as i do. If you start to feel woozy let me know and i can share some of mine.”

I gave him a quick nod and said,” Okay Kurama sensei, now why don’t we go get some food.” I then started to run back to Fluttershy’s home. Kurama sighed as he watched me run and asked himself,” is he even worth it? No i made a promise to the sage when we meet.” Kurama then sighed one last time before running after me.

Once we entered the house Fluttershy said,” Come into the kitchen boys I have your meals ready.” As we walked into the kitchen, and took the same seats as we did in the morning, I saw what she made us. For me she made a stack of banana pancakes and for Kurama she made him a salad with a couple small pieces of fish in it.

After we ate are food me and Kurama went back into the living rooms where are beds were and laid down. Fluttershy smiled and said,” goodnight boys see you in the morning.” Fluttershy then turned out the lights as she went upstairs to her room.

I yawned loudly and asked,” so Kurama what are you going to teach me tomorrow?” Kurama let out a small yawn as he set his head onto his paws and said,” i said she gets to pick every other day. Tomorrow she will likely have you learn healing arts or something which she feels is safe.”

I smiled weakly and said,” okay just thought I would ask.” I then set my head on top of my arms and fell into a deep sleep. As I slept I heard a voice saying,” go find him, go find Gyūki!”
> Chapter 4: Journies Call

After a long night peaceful night of slumber I slowly started to wake up due to the familiar thumping on my backside. I growled and said,” if that is you you annoying cotton tailed pest then I will hit you ten times harder than I did yesterday.” I then opened so I could see if it was that annoying rabbit that was hitting my backside, and surprise surprise it was.

I picked up the tiny fluff ball by the ears  with the tail closest to it and when I did I held it in front of me said,” okay last warning pest you hit me again and I will smash you.” I thought that would scare the little pest into never hitting me again but I was wrong. The little thing kicked me square in the nose.

As I screamed in surprise I could hear a very angry Kurama yell,”KNOCK IT OFF! You are being to loud!”

I looked at Kurama while still holding the rabbit and said,” It wasn’t my fault this little varment keeps kicking me and it is getting very annoying.” I then looked back at the rabbit and with a evil grin started to spin it around using my tail.

After doing this for a minute or so I heard a loud, angry, voice say,” Son you stop that right now and put Angel Bunny down right now!” I stopped spinning the bunny around and turned to see a very angry Fluttershy glaring at me with a very stern glare.

I laughed  nervously and asked,” Hey Fluttershy when did you wake up?” Unsurprisingly she didn’t say a thing, all she did was glare at me with the same kind of look that a mother gives a misbehaving child. I lowered my head as I set the bunny down on the ground and said,” I’m sorry Fluttershy.”

As this was going on I could hear Kurama in my head in a mocking voice said,” well i guess i need to double your stealth training.”

I growled at Kurama’s words but didn’t do so for long because  Fluttershy had stomped her hoof on the ground and said,” There will none of that Son, stop growling right now.” I sighed as I raised my head to face her and in a defeated  tone and said,” yes ma’am.”

This made Fluttershy smile and say,” Good now why don’t you and Kurama come and have some breakfast before you start your training.” Fluttershy then turned to Kurama and said,” And remember that I am choosing his lesson today Kurama.”

“I know. What kind of things do you want him to learn?” Kurama asked as he stood up from his bed.

Fluttershy smiled and said,” Well I don’t know exactly, I don’t really know what you can teach him and what he can learn.” This made both me and Kurama slouch over and sigh.

“Well what kind of things would you WANT him to learn?” Kurama asked in a very annoyed tone of voice.

Fluttershy smiled and said,”  We will talk about that during breakfast, now come along you two I picked up some special food just for the two of you.”

I smiled when I she said this and decided to run into the kitchen to see what the food was she was speaking about. Once in there I didn’t see any special food and asked,” Fluttershy where is the special food that you had mentioned, I am hungry.”

Fluttershy smiled as she walked over to me and slowly started to pet my head while saying,” I still have to make it Son so please be patient.”

This made me grumble in annoyance and said,”aw but I want to eat now.” This childish behaviour earned me mad glare from both Fluttershy and Kurama.

“A ninja must learn patience Son.” Kurama said as he padded closer to me until he was right over me glaring daggers down at me. This look scared me beyond belief and made me backup in sheer terror.

Fluttershy looked at Kurama and said,” Kurama that is enough can’t see you are scaring him.” Kurama scoffed as he backed away from me and went to his seat. “Perhaps you are right. I am just not used to this kind of thing is all.”

Fluttershy turned her head to the side and asked,” What do you mean, are you talking about being a big brother?”

I looked at Kurama when she said this and burst out into laughter. This made Kurama to growl at me and in a angry voice say,”you will shut up right now or i will double your the running distance.”

This made me stop by laughing but I still found it kinda funny how Fluttershy had referred to Kurama as his big brother. Sure he was older, wiser, and has somewhat of a brotherly aura around him. I looked at him and wondered why I had these feelings and will I feel the same way with the other Tailed Beasts, and even if there was any other Tailed Beast’s out there.

After thinking about this fo a while my concentration was shaken by Fluttershy asking,” Is something the matter Son? You seem to be lost in thought.”

I looked at Fluttershy and said,” Oh i’m sorry, I was just wondering if there are any other Tailed Beast’s out there like me and Kurama.”

Fluttershy turned her head to the side and asked,” So there are more creatures like you, you and Kurama I mean?” She seemed to really like the idea of other creatures like me and Kurama running around.

I blinked a couple minutes before I started to chuckle from her actions. I then said,” Yeah counting the me and Kurama there is nine of us in total.” I then took a deep breath and started to name off all the Tailed Beasts,” There is Shukaku the one tail, Matatabi the two tails, Isobu the three tails, me Son Goku the four tails, Kokuō the five tails, Saiken the six tails, Chōmei the seven tails, Gyūki the eight tails, and finally Kurama the nine tails.” After I finished rattling off all the names I let out a deep breath.

Fluttershy smiled and said,” Wow you two really do have a lot of siblings.” While keeping her smile she asked,” Are their anymore like you that you haven’t told me yet.”

I turned my head and went over the list of Tailed Beasts in my mind and after a bit of thinking I remembered the one that I forgot. I straightened out my head and said,” Now that you mention it there is one other Tailed Beast, which in a way is are mother.”

At the mention of this both Fluttershy’s and Kurama’s eyes shot open, Fluttershy’s was because of shock while Kurama’s was from fear. “ Um why are you two staring at me like that?” I asked wondering why this fact shocked them so much.

Kurama growled a bit and in a sharp tone said,” we don’t speak of the ten tails. We come from her and that is all.”

Fluttershy looked at Kurama and asked,” Kurama why do you say you can’t talk about her, she is your mother right?”

Kurama sighed and while looking down at the table he said,” imagine the worst monster you can think of. Now times that by ten and add insane power. That is the ten tails.”

Fluttershy looked at Kurama with shock and said,” Kurama that is no way to talk about yours and Son’s mother.”

I shrugged and said,” Well he isn’t wrong, she was really evil and literally a giant raging monster that had the power to easily destroy the world.”

Fluttershy looked at me with the same shock and said,” Now that is enough you two she is your mother.”

Kurama rolled his eyes and as way to try and change the subject said,” to settle this i can show you we are telling the truth or is there something else you wish to ask?”

Fluttershy sighed and said,” No I have no further questions.” Fluttershy then set down two bowls full of food in front of us  and said,” Now you two eat up and afterwards you two can train.”

Me and Kurama looked at the bowls of food and then started to eat. After we finished me, Kurama, and Fluttershy went outside so me and Kurama could train.

Once outside Kurama said,” now time to work on your body first. Yesterday showed me i need to build you up. ⅓ of what i had you run last time at battle pace.”

I sighed said,” Hai Kurama sensei.” I then started to run one ⅓ of the distance that I had the day before at the speed he told me to. After I finished I walked over to Kurama and asked,” Okay now that I am tired, what do we do next?”

Kuraa then looked at Fluttershy and me as he said,” well first i want you to go as fast as you can for as long as you can. After that i think i have a art to teach you that our friend here might like for you to learn.”

I sighed and in a depressed voice said,” Hai sensei.” After running for about fifty minutes of running around full speed I collapsed to the ground. I groaned and said,” Okay i’m done, goodbye cruel world.” I then acted like I had died.

Kurama rolled his eyes and said,” get up silly fool! Time for you to learn how to heal.”

I groaned as I started to slowly stand back up. Once I was fully up I asked,” why do I have to learn healing techniques, we heal not very long after getting hurt?”

Kurama raised one of his tails and pointed it Fluttershy. Kurama then, in a somewhat annoyed voice, said,” you do but what of your allies and friends? What if Fluttershy gets hurt?”

I sighed and said,” I understand Kurama Sensei.” I then walked over to him until I was right in front of him and asked,” So where do we begin?”

Kurama smiled and said,”  like all arts. Time for you to learn the signs.” Kurama then started to draw all the the hand signs on the ground and once he was finished he said,” try doing each sign first. Then when you have it down try to use it.”

I turned my head to the side and asked,” Um how am I supposed to practice it when there is nothing hurt around?”

Kurama gave a quick nod before turning to Fluttershy and asking,” do you have any cuts or shuch?”

Fluttershy shook her head and said,” No but angel Bunny has a couple bruises from him and Son ruff housing like they were.”

I growled and said,” Nope I am not doing anything for that little devil.” I then turned my back from them both which earned me a deep growl from Kurama.

I turned back around slowly until I faced a very angry Kurama. Kurama then in a very demanding voice said,” you will test it on him. But who knows? Maybe your first couple of tries might hurt him some more?”

I smiled evilly and said,” Now that you put that way I would love to try it out on him.” Fluttershy then gave a that look again, that motherly look. I lowered my head and said,” fine I will make sure not to hurt him anymore.”

Fluttershy stopped giving me the look and gave a quick nod as a way of saying good. Kurama then coughed a bit as a way of breaking the tension and said,” are you ready to try?”

I sighed and said,” yes sensei, i’m ready.” Kurama gave a quick nod as he went into the cottage to grab the little rodent. After a couple minutes Kurama came out of the house holding the little devil with his tails.

Kurama then placed Angel in front of  me and said,” try it now please. Lets see if you have picked this up.”

I gave Kurama a quick nod before weaving the hand signs that he had drawn on the ground. Once I had done that my hands started to glow green with healing powers. I moved my hands over to the pest until I was over it.

After almost an hour of training the little devil still wasn’t healed, not a scratch. I growled angrily and said,” Oh this is pointless, I can’t do this.”

Fluttershy then stood up and walked over to me. Once there she wrapped her left wig around me and said,” Don’t worry Son I bet with a bit more practice you will get it.”

For some reason this made me really happy and kinda determined to master this jutsu. But before I could try the jutsu again my vision started to grow blurry and I feel to the ground unconscious.

As I laid there unconscious the voice from the night before said,” Son you must find them, find your brothers and sisters for a great disaster is coming.” Then a picture of the eight tails flashed before me as the voice continued to say,” Find him first, Find Gyūki for he will know where to find the rest.”

After the voice said this I started to regain consciousness. Once I was awake I was greeted by a worried Kurama and Fluttershy looking down at me.

I looked at the two of them and asked,” Um what happened?” I then looked around and finally noticed I was on my bed and it was dark outside. I then looked back at Kurama and Fluttershy and asked,” How long was I out?”

Kurama let out a sigh and said,” about six hours. You used  up a lot of your chakra at once and passed out. I’m shocked though. That was a lot of chakra for a newborn.”

I chuckled and said,” Really that must mean that I am more awesome than I thought I was.”

Fluttershy chuckled and said,” Okay now simmer down there Son, you need to get some rest.” She then looked over at Kurama and said,” You too mister, it is time for bed.”

Kurama gave a quick nod and went over to his bed and lied down. Fluttershy smiled at us both and said,” Alright boys I will see you in the morning.” Fluttershy then turned off all the light as she went upstairs.

After about three hours of me trying to go to sleep but being unable to due to the voices words ringing in my mind I decided to do what it said. I stood up from my bed, making sure Kurama was asleep, and made my way out of the cottage and onto the porch.

I sighed and under my breath said,” I can’t believe I am doing this, Kurama and Fluttershy are so gonna kill me when they find out.” I then ran out into the dark night not really knowing where I was going or how long it would take. The only thing I did know was I have to find Gyūki!
