> Love, Life, and other Stuff > by Leviathan Jaeger > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > A new life style > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sunset woke up to the sound of the beeping alarm clock. She quickly smacked it with her hand and sat up in bed. She tiredly rubbed her eyes and grabbed her phone from off the table next to her. While looking at the weather for the day she felt the bed move. She looked over at the sleeping Adagio on the other side of the bed. Sunset smiled at her sleeping girlfriend, who was currently cuddling one of there pillows. After a few minutes of checking emails, Sunset got out of bed and headed for the shower. A few weeks after the Valentine's Day party, Sunset decided to move in with the Dazzlings, much to Adagio's joy. Instead of staying in the guest room however, Adagio offered Sunset to stay in her room, which she gladly excepted. Each week day she would go off to school, leaving Adagio and Scarlett to deal with the other couple in the house, Aria and Sonata. Even though they were in love with each other, they still argued and fought with each other, just not as much as before. Sunset tried to get them to visit the school, but none of them wanted to deal with the other students. Sunset stepped out of the shower and dried herself off. After changing into her clothes, brushing her teeth, and doing her hair, she walked downstairs for breakfast. She wasn't surprised to find Sonata already awake and in the kitchen, since she was always the first one awake. Adagio usually woke up before Sunset would leave, and Aria would sometimes be awake before then as well. "Good morning Sunset!" Sonata said with a happy smile. "Good morning Sonata," Sunset replied back, wondering how Sonata could have as much energy as she did every morning. She walked over to coffee maker and brewed a cup. "Want some pancakes?" Sonata asked, walking over to the stove. "Yeah, that be great," Sunset responded back to her, sitting down at the kitchen table. Sonata walked over and put a pancake on Sunset's plate. "I tried my best to not burn them this time." Sunset cut off a piece and tried it. "This is delicious Sonata." "*gasp* For realzies!" "Yes, for realzies," Sunset said with a small laugh. As she continued to munch on the pancake she heard someone come down the stairs. She turned to see Adagio, with her hair poofed all over the place. "Good morning Dagi." "Good morning Sunny," Adagio responded with a yawn. She took her place at the head of the table and looked over at Sonata. "Made pancakes again?" "Yep. And there not burned this time," she said with pride. "There actually really good this time," Sunset told her poofy haired friend. Adagio eyed the pancake suspiciously as Sonata put it down on her plate. She slowly cut off a piece and chewed on it. "It actually is good." Sonata giggled with delight as she watched her leader continue to eat her creation. She got even more excited when she saw Aria walk into the kitchen. "Good morning Ari!" "Morning," Aria responded tiredly. She walked over to the coffee machine and brewed a cup, and noticed the two people at the table eating. "You tried pancakes again?" "Yep, and I have a special one just for you," Sonata said with a wide smile. Aria rolled her eyes and sat on the opposite side of Sunset. She slouched down on her hand as she waited for whatever surprise Sonata had in store. She took a drink of her coffee just as Sonata put the pancake on her plate. She looked down and saw that it was shaped like a heart. A smile formed on her face at the site of the little surprise. "Thank you Sonata." "Your welcome Ari," Sonata said as she gave her girlfriend a hug from behind. The four of them continued to eat their breakfast until Sunset got up from the table. "Well, I have to head off. I'll see you all later." She stopped by Adagio. "Bye Dagi." "Bye Sunny," she said as she gave Sunset a sweet kiss. Adagio watched her walk out of the room and towards the door. Sonata giggled at how cute the two of them were, and then got a idea. She scooted closer to Aria. "Ari, could I have a good morning kiss?" "I don't like kissing," she lied, hoping Sonata would drop it since she didn't want to right in front of Adagio. "That's not what you said last night," Sonata stated, making Aria blush. "Well now, what's this I hear?" Adagio asked with her interest peeked. "Nothing!" Aria retorted. "You told me you love kissing me," Sonata said to her with a innocent face. "Sounds to me like you two spent some quality time together last night," Adagio said to the blushing Aria. "We just had a friendly conversation before going to sleep. Isn't that right Sonata?" Aria asked, hoping she would catch on. "No, we were cuddling and kissing each other, and that's when you told me you loved kissing me," Sonata responded back, making Aria blush even more. "Well now, sounds like more than just a friendly conversation," Adagio said with her signature smirk. "Your one to talk Adagio, you spend every night with your girlfriend. You two have probably already had sex," Aria replied to her. Adagio leaned back and smirked even more. "Maybe we have, but it sounds like you two want to," she said, making both of them blush. "Go feed your damn snake!" Aria retorted to her. "Alright, I'll leave you two alone," Adagio said as she got up from the table. "Don't feed her Henry, he's my favorite," Sonata said to her, making Adagio shake her head. Once she was gone, Sonata leaned towards Aria. "You don't like kissing me?" Aria turned towards her lover. "I love kissing you Sonata, I was telling you the truth last night. I just didn't want to in front of Adagio." "Oh. Well, she isn't here now," Sonata said to her as she put her arms around Aria's neck. Aria smiled before pulling Sonata forward and lovingly kissing her. Sonata crawled onto Aria's lap to get closer to her, which Aria responded to by wrapping her arms around Sonata's back. The two parted to catch a breath, before giving each other a passionate kiss. Aria reach down and grasped Sonata's ass, making the blue siren squeak. They continued this until they heard laughing from behind them. They quickly parted and turned to see Adagio standing there with Scarlett around her neck. "What do you think Scarlett? You think they want to fuck each other?" Adagio asked her reptilian pet with a devilish grin. Sonata's whole face turned red as she got off of Aria's lap, and Aria merely yelled at Adagio. Later that day, some of the Rainbooms made their way to lunch. Once they got their food they sat down at the usual table in the lunch room, except now they had a new member, the girl known as Twilight Sparkle. After the whole friendship games and the ordeal with Midnight Sparkle, Twilight's family had her transfer to CHS. There she connected with the Rainbooms, joining their group. She enjoyed everyone's company, but in the small amount of time she new them she found that she had developed a crush on Sunset Shimmer, a big crush. She was hoping for a opportunity to ask her out, but that would all change at lunch today. "You'd think our math teacher would slow down and explain the problems better than what he did," Rainbow Dash said with a groan. "He wasn't that bad Rainbow," Applejack said to her as she took a bite out of her apple. "Applejacks right darling, you can't just blame the teacher because you can't solve the problem," Rarity stated to her, backing her girlfriend up. "But he sucks at his job!" Rainbow said, hitting the table. "Calm down Dashie, I'll help you with it after school," Fluttershy said to her, trying to calm her down. Rainbow turned and smiled to her. "Thanks Flutters." Fluttershy nodded to her with her own smile before turning to Twilight. "Did you get it Twilight?" "Huh, oh yeah, I got it," she replied, having been distracted on wondering where Sunset was. Her face lit up as she saw Sunset enter the cafeteria. "Hi Sunset!" she said, scooting over to make room next to her. "Hey Twilight," she responded back, sitting down next to the purple girl. "Sorry I'm late." "All you've missed is Rainbow complainin about our math class," AJ responded to her. "It wasn't that bad," Sunset said to her. "Math sucks," Rainbow said, crossing her arms. She looked around and noticed that one more person was still missing. "Hey, where's Pinkie Pie?" The others shrugged their shoulders at her question. It wasn't long after that Pinkie rushed over to there table and flopped down on the seat. "Hi guys! Sorry I'm late." "Pinkie darling, where have you been?" Rarity asked. "Well, I got to thinking that since Twilight is now part of our group that we should throw her a super duper awesome party but I needed to plan that party so I made a list of different things that I need to get for it and I also needed someone to play some music so I was talking to Vinyl and she agreed to play some at the party and that's what I've been doing so how are you guys?" she said in all one breath. "Um...good. You was talking to Vinyl?" Sunset asked. "Yep, and she's going to be there," Pinkie stated, throwing a thumbs up towards Vinyl across the lunch room, which the music girl returned with a thumbs up and a smile. "She's cool." "You don't really need to throw me a party," Twilight said to her modestly. "Nonsense, we gave Sunset one when she joined us, and so now you get one," Pinkie said with the happiest grin. "Ok, if you say so," Twilight said with her own smile. "So, when is it?" Sunset asked. "It's Thursday!" Pinkie said, jumping in the air. "So we have a party on Thursday, and a movie night on Friday. At least I can take a nap on Saturday," Fluttershy said with her dry sarcasm. "Oh and Sunset, don't forget to invite the Dazzlings!" Pinkie said to her. "Who are the Dazzlings?" Twilight asked. "They're some of our friends outside of the school," AJ responded to her. "And one of them is Sunset's girlfriend," Rainbow Dash said with a smirk. Twilight's heart sank when she heard those words. She turned to Sunset and asked, "You-you have a girlfriend?" "Yeah, I guess you'll get to meet her on Thursday," Sunset replied back to her. Twilight didn't know how to respond. She merely looked down at her hands, her heart crushed. "Who is she?" she asked, barely looking up. "Her names Adagio, and she's greatest person I've ever known," Sunset responded to her, looking off in distance like she was daydreaming. "Ya think we should tell her about the...other part concerning them?" AJ asked. "What other part?" Twilight asked the group. "The part about how they are actually sirens from the other world that Sunset is from and that they tried to take over the school by controlling all the students through their singing and magic but we stopped them by shattering their pendants with the power of friendship and then they were mad at us for awhile but Sunset got to them and they excepted friendship and then Sunset fell in love with their leader so now they are a couple," Pinkie explained to her. "You know, when someone says the power of friendship out loud, it sounds really stupid," Rainbow said, making Fluttershy elbow her in the side. "So your...dating a siren...who is the leader of a group of sirens?" Twilight asked. "Yes, it may sound odd, but Adagio is a wonderful person. And we love each other so much," Sunset said to her with a smile. "Oh," was the only response Twilight could give. Tears started to form in her eyes, but before anyone could see them, she excused herself from the table and walked to the bathroom. "What's wrong with her?" Dash asked. "Bad food?" Pinkie asked. Everyone just brushed it off, except for Fluttershy, who noticed something about her before she left. On the opposite side of the cafeteria, Trixie sat at a table alone, watching the Rainbooms chat with each other. 'Stupid Rainbooms, sitting over there without a care in the world, always happy,' she thought to herself. 'Not only are they impossibly annoying, but there rubbing shoulders with the Dazzlings, and even going as far as to date one of them, the worst of them, that Adagio Dazzle.' Trixie shuddered when she remembered the look Adagio gave her at the Valentine's party. 'Trixie wants them to pay, Trixie wants revenge, and Trixie will get it. But how?' Trixie thought to herself. She looked out the window towards the playing field, and remembered the group of girls who were there not to long ago. 'Trixie knows who to have help,' she thought as she grinned and gave a small evil laugh. > Party till Midnight > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pinkie Pie bounced around her house, making sure everything was in its place for the party. As she checked off everything on her list, Vinyl entered the room. "Is everything ready on the music front?" Pinkie asked her, to which Vinyl responded with a thumbs up and a smile. "Perfect! We have the food, decorations, drinks, candy, cake, cupcakes, and let's not forget the balloons!" she yelled as she released several balloons that appeared in her hands. Vinyl only smiled at her friends cheerful nature. Pinkie was always known for making new friends, but outside of the Rainbooms and Sonata, she didn't really hang out with many of them. Recently though, she had been spending more time with Vinyl, the DJ of the school. They had known each other for years, but never really spent time with each other, until Pinkie needed her to amp up the music at her parties. Pinkie was blowing up some balloons when a knock came at the door. She quickly rushed over to it and opened it, finding Applejack and Rarity on the other side. "Hi guys! Welcome to the party!" the pink girl squealed with delight. "Howdy Pinkie, are we the first ones here?" AJ asked her. "Yep, now come on in and make yourselves comfortable," Pinkie responded to her, letting them both inside. Both of the girls waved to Vinyl, who kindly waved back. Rarity walked over to the drink table, while there she noticed someone sitting off to the side of the room. "Octavia? I'm surprised to see you here darling," she said, walking over to her. The cellist looked up from her seat and smiled at Rarity. "I'm only here because Vinyl needed a ride, her car is currently unusable, which means I have to drive her around." "Oh, well at least this time if there's a discussion about why tea is better than coffee, I'll have you here to back me up," Rarity joked with her. Octavia smiled and took a sip of her drink. "Indeed." Pinkie wasn't the only girl that was being chummy with another musician, Rarity had started to spend time with Octavia. Rarity liked being around her, since she enjoyed her more refined lifestyle. When Applejack was busy doing work on the farm, Rarity would sometimes go get tea with Octavia, and sometimes listen to her cello playing. Of course AJ knew about this. Another knock came at the door, and Pinkie once again rushed over to open it. On the other side was Twilight, the reason for the party. "Welcome Twilight, to your very own super duper awesome welcome to the Rainbooms joining party!" Pinkie said, throwing confetti in the air. "Thank you Pinkie," she said with a smile as Pinkie pulled her inside the house. "Hi everyone." she said a little shyly. "Howdy Twilight," AJ responded to her. Twilight looked around the room at the familiar faces, until she looked at Octavia. "If you don't mind me asking, who are you?" "Oh I'm sorry, we haven't met yet. My names Octavia," she said as she extended her hand, "lead cellist at CHS. And the girl standing over there is Vinyl, the DJ of CHS." After shacking Octavia's hand, Twilight waved to Vinyl, who waved back and smiled. "And she's also your roommate," Pinkie stated. "Yes Pinkie. Also my roommate," Octavia responded back to the hyper girl. Pinkie was about to say something else, but her thoughts were interrupted by another knock. She soon let in Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. "Hey guys, the life of the party is here," Dash stated, puffing out her ego. The others rolled their eyes at this. "Don't be silly Rainbow Dash, the life of the party is Twilight, she's the reason we're having it," Pinkie said, pointing at Twilight. "Hehe, yeah..." Twilight said in response. "Yeah, whatever Pinkie," Rainbow said with a shrug as she walked over to Twilight. "Welcome to the Rainbooms," she said, giving Twilight a light punch on the shoulder. "Thanks Rainbow," Twilight responded, rubbing her shoulder. "Hey Fluttershy," she said, giving the shy girl a wave. "Hi Twilight, I hope all of this isn't making you uncomfortable," Fluttershy asked sincerely. "No, it isn't. It's just more attention than what I would've ever gotten from Crystal Prep, and I'm trying to a just to it." "Ok. Did Spike come with you?" Fluttershy asked. "Did someone say my name?" came a voice from Twilight's backpack. When Twilight unzipped the bag a purple and green dog poked his head out. "It was getting hot in there." "Sorry Spike, I forgot you was in there," Twilight apologized, letting Spike down on the ground. "Hi Spike, I brought you a special treat," Fluttershy said, pulling it out of her pocket. "Thanks Fluttershy," Spike replied, taking it from her hand. "The dog can talk?" Octavia whispered to Rarity. "It's difficult to explain," Rarity whispered back. Another knock came at the door, and Pinkie bounced over to open it. "Hey Sunset!" Pinkie exclaimed. Twilight immediately looked towards the door, watching Sunset walk in. "Hi Sunset." "Hey Twilight, having a good party so far?" Sunset asked with a smile. "Yeah, definitely," she responded with a smile. 'Especially now that you're here,' Twilight thought to herself. Rainbow Dash looked past Sunset with a questioning expression. "The Dazzlings didn't come with you?" "They'll be here later, Adagio ran into a problem earlier," Sunset explained to her. "The Dazzlings are going to be here!" Octavia asked with shock. "Oh...right, you don't know yet. We befriended the Dazzlings last year, and tonight was when Twilight was going to meet them," Rarity explained to her musical friend. "So they've changed?" Octavia asked. "Yes darling, they're not evil anymore. In fact, Sunset is dating the leader, Adagio." Octavia and Vinyl shot a puzzled look at Sunset. "I know it sounds strange, but they've changed. Can you give them a chance?" Sunset asked, trying to get their trust. The two musicians looked at each other and nodded. Octavia sighed before giving their answer. "Alright, we'll give them a chance." Sunset let out a breath, then smiled happily at them giving her friends a chance. "So what was the problem Adagio had earlier?" Applejack asked. "She had to apologize to the mailman, and explain what happened to the police," Sunset responded, making everyone slightly nervous when she brought up the police. "What happened?" Fluttershy asked. "Scarlett had attacked the mailman," Sunset flat out stated. "Who's Scarlett?" Octavia asked Rarity. "Adagio's dreadful pet snake," Rarity responded with a huff. "How in tarnation did Scarlett get out of the house and all the way to the mail box," AJ asked. "I have no idea," Sunset shrugged. "And she attacked the mailman?" Fluttershy asked, concerned for the man and the snake. "Apparently. The guy was so scared that he called the police while it happened. Thankfully Adagio was able to call her back into the house. But then she had to deal with the consequences." "Adagio didn't teach Scarlett to attack people, right?" Rainbow asked. "I highly doubt that Rainbow. Scarlett is there to keep her company, not be a guard dog, well snake." Sunset responded to her. "Well let's not let this drag us down, we have to celebrate Twilight being our new Rainboom person!" Pinkie stated, trying to change the subject to something more happy. Later in the hour, another knock came at the door. Everyone turned towards the door as Pinkie opened it. In stepped Aria and Sonata, the latter being thrilled to finally be at the party. "Twilight, meet two of the three Dazzlings!" Pinkie said as she motioned Twilight forward. As she walked up, Twilight looked the two sirens over. One she noticed was really happy, while the other looked rather unpleasant. But what really took her surprise was how pretty they both were. As both of them walked up to say hi, Twilight also noticed their alluring hip movements. "Hi." "Hi! I'm Sonata Dusk," the blue one said happily. "I'm Aria Blaze, not that last names are all that important," the purple one stated. "Nice to meet you," Twilight responded with a weak smile. "Where's the third one?" Pinkie asked. "Not far behind," came a voice from behind the two girls. Aria and Sonata both stepped to the side at the sound of her voice. Soon the lead siren walked through the door and forward to Twilight. "Hi, I'm Adagio Dazzle, the leader of the Dazzlings." "I'm Twilight Sparkle," she answered her back. Twilight was taken back by what she saw. Not only did she notice that Adagio was beautiful, but she also noticed just how god damn sexy she was. "Twilight Sparkle, the girl Sunset has spoken a lot about recently," Adagio stated, making Twilight blush just a little but thankfully her glasses helped hide it. "And if I'm not mistaken, your also the girl who turned into Midnight Sparkle." Twilight's breathing stopped for a split second at the mention of her name. "Y-yes, that was me," she admitted ashamed. " Well, I'm happy to see that Sunset has helped someone else come out of a dark place," Adagio told her genuinely, putting a hand on Twilight's shoulder. When Adagio walked past Twilight to Sunset, Sonata spoke up, "We all make mistakes." "You guys are ones to talk," Rainbow stated, which made Fluttershy promptly elbowed her in the side for saying. "And Twilight's not the only person you get to meet tonight!" Pinkie told the three sirens. "What?" Aria asked, to which Pinkie pointed to Octavia and Vinyl. "I'm Octavia, lead cellist at CHS," she said, shaking each of their hands. "And this is Vinyl, the DJ of CHS." "So your the one who plays the cello, I must say that I love your playing. I always did enjoy the cello," Adagio said to her with a smile, which made Octavia actually smile back. "Hi Vinyl!" Sonata said, which Vinyl responded with a smile and a wave. "Do...do you not speak?" "Oh I forget to mention that. Vinyl is actually mute, she can't speak. Which is why she likes to express her thoughts through her music," Octavia informed them. "Oh," Sonata responded back. "So your a DJ, and you can't talk?" Aria asked, which Vinyl nodded to. "I like you," Aria said with a smirk. "So now that everyone's here, WE CAN START THIS PARTY!!" Pinkie exclaimed, jumping high in the air. "Hit the music my good DJ!" Vinyl popped up behind her equipment and started to play a song. The girls then preceded on with the party. After hours of dancing, games, contests, eating, and more games, the girls started winding down. Soon they were all in the living room, sitting in the different chairs. "So there's four couples in this room right now?" Octavia asked. "Yep," AJ responded to her. "I know about three of them, so which two make up the fourth?" she asked. Sonata swung her arms around Aria, pulling her close. "We do," she said happily. Both Octavia and Vinyl raised a eyebrow at the them. "You two?" "We don't understand it either," Rainbow stated. "Why do ask about the couples, is it because you two want to make a fifth?" Adagio asked with a smirk, pointing to the two musicians. "No! I was just curious," Octavia responded quickly. "If you say so," Adagio replied, taking a sip of her drink. "Anyway, which of you was first?" Octavia asked. "Technically Flutters and I were, but the first to come out about it was Sunset and Adagio," Dash replied to her. Octavia looked over at the two quizzically, while Vinyl gave them a thumbs up. "That shouldn't surprise me." "We're not afraid of what people say about us, isn't that right Sunny?" Adagio said, putting her arm around Sunset. "Yeah, it is," Sunset said with a smile, before giving Adagio a sweet but short kiss. Twilight could feel the tears swelling in her eyes at the sight. Quickly she excused herself and walked to the bathroom. Once inside and sure the other couldn't hear her, she began to cry, the tears quickly sliding down her face. "Well well well, little Twilight is heartbroken," a voice said from inside the room. Twilight quickly looked around to see who it was. "Who's there?" "Just your true friend," it responded to her. Twilight looked around some more before looking back at the mirror. She gasped and stepped back when she saw Midnight Sparkle looking back at her. "Did you miss me?" "What do you want!?" Twilight asked full of anger. "Oh I was just sitting around inside your head, watching the outside world, when I noticed a certain girl you care so much about kissing another girl. I saw how upset it made you, and I couldn't help but laugh at your sorrow," Midnight responded mockingly. "What happens out here is none of your concern!" Twilight stated to her. "Oh but it is my concern. You think your the only one that has eyes for that dreamy pony girl. I want her as much as you do," Midnight explained to her. "Why would you want her?" Twilight asked. "If I can have her by my side, no one could stop me. Besides, imagine what she's capable of in bed," Midnight said seductively. "You'll never have the chance Midnight!" Twilight yelled at her. "That's where your wrong Twilight, I will have my chance. I grow stronger everyday, and soon I will control your body. Your sadness, your hatred, your anger fuels my spirit. I know how much you despise that Adagio Dazzle, how much you would love to see her gone for good. I can make it happen Twilight, I can help you achieve everything you've ever wanted. I can get you Sunset Shimmer, you just have to let me have control." "No, no! I'll never let you out! I control what I do, and if Sunset is happy with Adagio, then I'll let it be!" "Hahahahahaha, look at you, lying to yourself like that. You and I both know your not happy when you see them together. Let me have control, and your problems will disappear." "No! I'll never let you have control!" "So be it. I will be back Twilight, and there's nothing you can do to stop me!" Midnight said as she gave a evil laugh and vanished, leaving Twilight looking at herself. "Twilight, are you alright? You've been gone for awhile," Fluttershy said from the other side of the door. "I'm fine Fluttershy," Twilight responded. She looked back at her reflection in the mirror, "Just fine." She walked out of the bathroom and back to the group. "I'm telling you Rarity, coffee is better than tea!" Rainbow stated to Rarity. "And I'm telling you, Rainbow Dash, that tea is far superior to coffee!" Rarity stated back to her. "And I thought we argued loudly," Sonata whispered to Aria. "Yeah," Aria whispered back to her. "Alright you two, break it up. It doesn't matter which is better, just as long as the two of you enjoy what your drinken," Applejack said, standing between the two. "Well, now that that is done, I believe it's time to depart, I need to sleep tonight," Rarity said. "Yeah, but we're not done yet Rarity," Dash said with a smirk. "Drop it Rainbow," AJ warned. "Are you ready Sunny?" Adagio asked. "Yeah, I'm tired," Sunset replied. The two of them got up from their seat. "Well Twilight, I hope this party was a lot of fun for you. And once again, welcome to the group." "Thank you Sunset," Twilight responded with a smile. The smile on her face got bigger when Sunset gave her a hug. She hoped it would never end, and her face showed it. No one noticed it though, except for Aria. The purple siren was getting out of her seat with Sonata when she noticed the slightly to happy face of Twilight. She didn't think to much on it, but she didn't discard it from her mind. When the hug broke, Adagio walked up beside them. "Shall we go, I wanna see if I make it home before you do," Adagio smirked. "As long as you don't break the law trying to do it," Sunset joked. "It was nice meeting you two," Adagio said to the passing musicians. "It was nice meeting you too, and your companions. I'm glad to see I was wrong about you three," Octavia said genuinely, before she and Vinyl walked out. As Sunset and Adagio walked out, Twilight heard a voice in her head. 'I can make your problems go away.' Twilight shook her head as she walked over to the remaining people to say goodbye. > A unexpected circumstance > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Aria sat on her bed, playing a game on her phone. She was not happy that Adagio hadn't cancelled tonight's movie night. 'We just had a party yesterday, why do we need to see everyone again!' she thought herself while in her grumpy mood. Her door was slightly open, just open enough for Scarlett to slither her way in. Aria looked over the top of her phone at the reptile. "What do you want?" she asked aggravated, which made the snake stare at her. "God damn it Scarlett, where did you go?" Adagio said from the hall. She poked her head into the room and saw her scaly friend. "Come here," she said, walking over to the snake and picking her up. "You really need to keep track of where she goes Adagio," Aria stated. "It's not my fault she wants to roam around," Adagio responded. "Whatever. Why are we having the movie thing tonight? We just had a party," Aria asked with no enthusiasm. "Because Aria, Sunset said she has a surprise for everyone, and I want her to able to show everyone what it is," Adagio responded as Scarlett wrapped herself around her neck. "Of course, gotta make Sunset happy. Heaven forbid you say no to her," Aria said as she rolled her eyes. Adagio grabbed Aria by the front of her shirt, pulling her forward. "Wanna run that by me again Aria Blaze," she said with a menacing tone. "Let's make Sunset happy, right? Hehe..." Aria said nervously. Adagio released her grip from Aria's shirt, letting her back down on the bed. She then walked out of the room, passing Sonata in the hallway. "Go cheer up your bitchy girlfriend," she ordered the other siren. Sonata watched her walk away before knocking on Aria's door. "What?" "Can I come in Ari?" "Sure, whatever." Sonata walked into her room and sat down next to Aria. "Adagio said you need some cheering up." Aria only grunted at what she said, but her face changed when Sonata kissed her on the cheek. "Did that help?" "A little, but you'll have to try harder than that to cheer me up," Aria responded with a smirk. Sonata only responded by pushing over Aria and crawling on top of her. She giggled before deeply kissing Aria. Adagio put Scarlett in her tank before heading downstairs. She stopped in the living room to watch Sunset arrange the furniture. "I hope whatever the surprise you have in store is worth it." she said with crossed arms. Sunset smiled and walked up to her, putting her arms around Adagio's neck. "Don't worry, it will be. I promise." "I hope your right." "Oh don't be grumpy Dagi, your acting like Aria." Adagio was going to respond, but couldn't because of Sunset pressing her lips to her own. After breaking the kiss Sunset smirked at her. "Want more?" "You know I do," Adagio responded with own her smirk, before pushing Sunset up against the wall. As they kissed passionately, Sunset ran her hands over Adagio's hips before landing them on her ass. Adagio responded by groping Sunset's boobs, making the sunny girl moan. "I know you love it when I do that. You love having your breasts squeezed, don't you Sunset?" Adagio whispered in a seductive tone. "Yes, oh yes. Don't stop," she replied to her. Sunset moved one her hands and slide it down Adagio's pants and panties. She stuck two of her fingers inside of Adagio, making the siren moan loader than Sunset was. As both of their hands worked their magic, they went back to kissing each other, rolling their tongues together. Meanwhile, Sonata was still on top of Aria, kissing her lovingly. She eventually broke the kiss and looked down at her lover. "I'd love to continue, but I need to go see if everything is ready downstairs." "Ok. We can continue tonight," Aria said with a sly grin. Sonata gave her one last kiss before sliding off her and walking out of the room. She walked down the stairs and heard the other two girls moaning. Sonata stood against the wall, not wanting to see what was happening around the corner. "You two know people will be here soon, right?" she asked loudly. The two girls broke their kiss and looked towards where the voice came from, then back to each other. They both stepped back from each other, Adagio releasing Sunset's breasts while Sunset pulled her hand out. Her fingers were soaked, but Sunset took care of it by seductively licking off the juices. Adagio licked her lips at the site before walking away towards the kitchen, swinging her hips to give Sunset a show. She watched Adagio's performance until the siren was out of view, then walked into the bathroom to wash her hands. After that, she joined Adagio in the kitchen. "Tonight, I'm going to rock your world Sunset Shimmer," Adagio whispered, using her seductive tone again. "I can't wait," she whispered back. "Can I walk through now?" Sonata asked loudly from her place around the corner. "Yes Sonata, coast is clear," Sunset answered her back. Sonata joined them in the kitchen. "Do I need to listen now every time I come down the steps, cause I really don't want to walk in on whatever you two were doing." "No Sonata, we'll keep it in the bedroom for now on. At least try to," Adagio said, smiling at Sunset. Later on, someone knocked on the door. Sunset opened it and found Twilight standing outside. "Hey Twilight, come on in," Sunset said with a smile. "Hi Sunset, I was worried I had the wrong house," she said as she walked in. They talked to each other as Sunset lead her to the living room. "Welcome to the Dazzling's house," she said with gusto. "It's a nice house, just the right size for four people." "Yeah, it is," Sunset replied. She heard Adagio call for her from the kitchen. "I'll be right back Twilight, just make yourself at home," she said as she walked away. Twilight stood in the center of the room, admiring her surroundings. 'Well now, look at you. Visiting the house of your enemy. Bold move Twilight,' Midnight spoke to her mockingly in her head. "Stop it Midnight," Twilight whispered to herself. 'What's the matter Twilight, you don't wanna be reminded that Adagio is here,' Midnight responded back to her. "Shut up Midnight!" she whispered with hate. 'Better stop talking to yourself, you got company,' Midnight stated to her. Twilight turned around to see Sonata standing behind her. "Hey." "Hey Twilight, do you like our home?" she asked with a smile. "Yeah, it's a very comfortable house," Twilight replied. "I love it!" Sonata said with a happy smile. 'Look at how cute she is when she smiles,' Midnight stated. 'That cute face with those hips.' "Stop it!" Twilight whispered. "I didn't do anything," Sonata said confused. "Oh I wasn't talking to you Sonata, I was talking to...you know what it doesn't matter," Twilight quickly replied. "Ok?" Sonata answered back to her. "Anyway, I'm happy to know you'll be coming to these for now on." "All you guys do is watch a movie and hang out?" "Yep. We watch different kinds of movies, Adagio and I usually pick them out. Aria can't anymore." "Why not?" Twilight asked. "Because everyone else wimps out when I put on one of my movies," Aria said, walking up to them. "I don't wimp out! I watched that one about the shark with you," Sonata retorted. "Sonata, your a siren, you lived in the ocean, of course the shark wouldn't scare you," Aria stated to her. "I made it through the one that had the dinosaurs in it." "That wasn't a horror movie." "I made it through others!" "Name one." Twilight watched the two argue, and she couldn't help but feel a little uncomfortable while doing so. 'You know Twilight, the purple one is rather hot when she's upset,' Midnight told her. 'Could you give it a rest!' Twilight said back to her in her head. Midnight only laughed at her response. Thankfully the argument ended when another knock came at the door. Sonata went to go answer it, leaving Twilight with Aria. Twilight shifted in her spot before finally speaking up. "You watch horror movies?" "Whenever I get the chance," Aria replied back. "Oh, cool." In time everyone else arrived, and they all gathered in the living room. Sunset looked at her phone to check the time. "Almost time." "Time for what?" Adagio asked. "For the surprise to get here," she replied. "What is the surprise darling?" Rarity asked. "If I told you, it wouldn't be a surprise," Sunset said, walking out of the room. Rainbow snickered at Rarity for asking the dumb question, making the fancy girl roll her eyes. Everyone looked up from their seats when they heard a knock on the door. "Isn't everyone already here?" Sonata asked. "Not everyone," Sunset said, walking back into the room. "I invited a guest." Everyone looked towards the entry way to see who it was. They all sat in shock when the guest walked into the room, the guest being Princess Twilight Sparkle. "I'm back," the princess said with a smile. Everyone sat there motionless, until Pinkie jumped out of her seat. "Twilight!!" she yelled, running up to the princess and giving her a hug. "Haha, hi Pinkie," she said, returning the hug. "Well lookie there, Princess Twilight, welcome back," AJ said as she and Rarity walked up to her, also giving her hugs. "It's good to see guys again." "Indeed it is darling," Rarity said. "Hi Rainbow, Fluttershy," Twilight said to the approaching girls. "I'm surprised to see you," Fluttershy replied to her. "Yeah, I thought you was busy being a princess," Rainbow stated. "I'm was able to get a break from being a princess, a vacation I guess. I would've been here last night, but I had to deal with someone's shenanigans." "Discord?" Sunset asked to her. "Discord," Twilight confirmed. "Well it's good to see you again Twilight," Applejack said, as everyone joined in for a group hug. The Dazzlings had moved out of their seats and stood next to each other. "Did Sunset tell you about this?" Aria asked. "No, I had no idea," Adagio whispered back to her. When the hug broke up, Twilight noticed the Dazzlings standing off to the side. She took a breath and walked up to them. "Hello Adagio." "Hello Twilight. Excuse me, Princess Twilight. It's been awhile," Adagio said to her. "Yes, it has. Sunset informed me that you three have changed, for the better." "Yes, we have. We no longer want to rule over Equestria, or take control of the people of this world. We've changed, and you have Sunset and your friends to thank." Twilight stood there, pondering on what she said. Sunset had written to her everything that had happened since they accepted friendship. At first she didn't really believe it, but she soon accepted that it was true. A smile formed on her face as she stepped forward and gave the siren leader a hug. "I'm glad to see you've changed." Adagio was taken back at first, but she quickly returned the hug. When they parted, Sonata gave Twilight a hug, surprising the princess. When they parted, the two sirens looked at Aria. "Your turn," Adagio said to her. Aria rolled her eyes and stepped forward, hugging the princess. When they parted, the sirens started asking about Equestria, which Twilight happily told them about. During all this time, human Twilight stood and watched. She had already met the princess once, and it was very awkward, but now it felt even more awkward. Seeing the Rainbooms greet her happily and seeing the Dazzlings make peace with her. It was a happy scene, and it would've made her smile if she wasn't watching the pony turned human version of her doing all of it. After talking about Equestria for a little bit, the princess noticed the other Twilight. She walked up to her, hoping it wouldn't get really awkward. "Hi...Twilight." "Hello Princess...Twilight," human Twilight responded. "So, how do we say their names now. We can't call them both Twilight," Rainbow asked. "You guys can call me Twi. I've always liked that nickname," human Twilight spoke up. "Alright, Twi it is. At least while both of you are in the same room," AJ told them. "Now that introductions are out of the way, wanna watch the movie now?" Aria asked. Everyone agreed and made their ways to their seats. The usual spots were filled, leaving the two Twilights to sit on the new couch with Pinkie. 'What a surprise, the other you is here. I wonder if she has her own Midnight in her head?' the demon spoke in Twi's head. Twi tried her best to ignore Midnight, but as the night went on it proved more and more difficult. Midnight kept directing Twi's focus to the two lovers on the recliner. Twi kept trying to focus on the movie, but Midnight had a strong voice in her head. It was troubling her so much that it started to show on her face. Twilight looked over and noticed it. "Is something wrong," she quietly whispered to her. "No, I'm fine," Twi lied to her. Once the movie ended, the chatting commenced. Twi started to talk to Twilight, asking how living in Equestria was. As the conversation went on, Twi found she really liked talking to herself, at least a different version of herself. As their chat started to end, Twi thought up a question. "Where are you going to be staying Twilight, now that your here on vacation?" "*gasp*I haven't thought about that! I got so wrapped up in what I was doing and then coming here I didn't think about it!" Twilight said, starting to freak out a little. "You can stay with me if you want." "Really? You'd let me do that?" "Yeah, we got a spare bedroom at the house. And I want to spend more time with you." "Alright, I like the sound of that," Twilight said with a smile. As the two of them moved to join the others, Twilight got a idea. "Why don't you three come visit the school with me on Monday?" she asked the sirens. The three of them looked from one to the other. "I don't know about that Princess," Adagio said to her. "You guys should, show everyone you've changed. And you can call me Twilight," she responded to her. Sonata looked at her companions before saying her resolution. "I'll go." The other two looked at her. "You actually want to go?" Aria asked her. "Yeah, I'll give it a try. I mean, the Valentine's party wasn't bad." "I don't know Sonata," Aria said to her. "Don't worry Aria, we won't let anything happen," Rainbow said, stepping forward. "Yeah, we'll make sure no one gives her any trouble," Applejack stated, stepping next to Rainbow. Aria looked at them, then to Twilight, then to Sonata. *sigh*Fine, you can go, but I'm going with you." "For realzies?" Sonata asked her. "Yes, I'm not about to let you go back there by yourself. Besides, you know Adagio and I don't let you go outside the house alone." Sonata quickly gave her a hug. "Thank you Ari!" "Your welcome." After seeing there answer, Twilight turned to Adagio. "What about you?" "I'm not going. I could care less about that place." "Come on Adagio, it isn't as bad as you think it is," Sunset said to her. "No Sunset, not this time. I'll see how they do first." "Well would you look at that, Adagio can say no to her," Aria said with a smirk. Adagio shot her look, making the purple siren back down. With that out of the way, people found it was time to disembark. Each of them said bye, and Twilight explained that she would be staying with Twi while she was here. When everyone was gone, Adagio turned to Sunset. "Sorry Sunset, I just don't want to go back there yet." "It's alright Dagi, I know you'll visit in the future," she said, giving Adagio a kiss. "Now, we didn't get to finish something earlier." Sonata heard this, and saw both of them smirking to each other. "Ari, let's go." "What? What are you doing?" Aria asked as Sonata pushed her towards the stairs. "Don't ask, but we need to be in a room like right now!" she said as the two hurried up the stairs. Adagio and Sunset giggled at the two. "She does know that we're going to the bedroom right?" Sunset asked. "Not like it matters," she said, before kissing Sunset again. The two of them made their way up into Adagio's bedroom. Sunset went to kiss her again, but Adagio stopped her. "Wait on the bed, I have something I want to show you." "Oh really," Sunset said as she sat on the bed. Adagio disappeared into their walk in closet. When she walked back out, she was wearing some sexy lingerie. "Like what you see?" she asked seductively. "Definitely," was her only answer. Adagio slowly walked over to her, hips rocking back and forth. She pushed Sunset onto her back and crawled on top of her. Adagio kissed her as she pressed her body against Sunset's. She both began to strip Sunset, until she was just in her bra and panties. "Mmmmm, look at how soaked these are," Adagio said as she rubbed Sunset's panties. She moved her hands up to her breasts, and carefully slipped her hands under the bra. She began to massage them, making Sunset moan from the pleasure. "Oh yes," Sunset moaned. Adagio smiled as she pulled one hand out from the bra, and stuck it down inside the wet panties. She began to finger her rhythmically. "Does that feel good?" "Oh fuck yes," Sunset answered her back. Adagio continued her attack for a little while longer, but then she removed her hands. Sunset looked up at her disappointingly. "We can't have you climax while still clothed. Let's remove the rest of what we have and get down and dirty," Adagio said in her sexiest voice. Sunset seductively smiled back at her as two began to strip what was left. In the other room, Sonata was laying on top of Aria, making out with her. Aria had her hands on Sonata's back, but she slowly slid one down and into Sonata's pants. The blue siren squeaked at the move, but quickly regained her composure. "I to can play at that game," she said with a smirk. Sonata slid her hand under Aria's shirt, grasping onto one of her breasts. "Why not do both of them?" Aria asked her, also smirking. "Why not just have them out in the open," Sonata responded to her. Aria's smirk got bigger as the two of them began to strip. On a different side of the city, the two Twilight's were sitting in Twi's bedroom. They had been chatting for awhile, talking about differences in each of the worlds, what it's like to be a pony, and what it was like growing up as a human. Eventually Twi brought up a topic she had been wanting to ask. "Twilight?" "Yes Twi?" "When you and your friends reformed a villain, did any of them ever have any...troubles with their past self?" "What do you mean?" "Did any of them have...voices in their head...voices of what they were?" Twilight pondered her question for a few moments. "Every villain we have reformed has struggled with what they were, even Sunset. But, I don't think I've heard any of them say anything about voices speaking to them. Why do you ask?" Twi shifted in her seat uncomfortably. "You know about Midnight Sparkle right?" "Sunset wrote to me about what happened that day." "Sometimes, I can hear her talking to me, speaking to me about different things." "What different things?" This made Twi stop. She didn't want to tell Twilight about her crush on Sunset, but she knew that she could help if she did. But she choose not to tell her. "Nothing important." "Twi," she said, taking Twi's hands in hers. "If the being known as Midnight is haunting you, I want to help you. I will help you get rid of the demon, but you have to tell me what she troubles you about. If we can solve that problem, then we can deal with her. So please Twilight, tell me what's wrong." Twi gripped the other Twilight's hands. She wanted to tell her, but she didn't want her to judge her. Her thoughts went back to Crystal Prep, the day she discovered she had her first crush. She told the others she hung around with about her crush, and they began to mock her. Insults were thrown left and right, leaving her melting where she stood. They ridiculed her for having a crush on someone that was already in a relationship, which she hadn't known about. All her so called friends laughed at her, and worst of all, the girl she loved joined them. They gave her shit for how she felt, leaving Twi heart broken. When she joined up with the Shadowbolts, she never told them anything about her life. And now she didn't want to relive those moments. "It's nothing Twilight, I swear." Twilight let go of her hands. "Alright, if you say so. But keep me updated about Midnight, I want to know the next time she speaks to you, alright?" "Alright," she responded. Twilight then gave her a hug, which Twi happily returned. The two then decided it was time for bed. Twi helped Twilight prepare the room, and then she went to her own room. Deep in Twi's mind, Midnight laughed at what had gone down. "Soon Twilight Sparkle, soon I'll be in control." She gave a evil laugh before disappearing deeper into Twi's mind. It was Monday, and the sirens were preparing to enter the school. They had waited until lunch to visit, since they didn't want to sit through any boring classes. As they entered the building, Sunset met with them. "This feels familiar," she joked with them. "Very funny," Aria responded to her joke. "Except we're missing your favorite siren." Sonata giggled as Sunset rolled her eyes. The two of them followed her to the lunch room. It didn't take long for the other students to notice the new guests. Several looks were shot their way, Aria ignored them, and Sonata tried her best to. They sat down at the Rainbooms table, with several people still watching them. "I know we're good to look at, but they can stop now," Aria said, seeing that Sonata was starting to become uncomfortable. Rainbow and Applejack shot some looks around the room, making some students go back to eating, but some didn't. One of them was Trixie, and she was not happy to see them there. 'They dare show their faces here, after what they've done! I can't believe it. And it's only the two sidekicks, I guess their leader chickened out,' Trixie thought to herself. She noticed a group of jocks walking past her table, giving the two sirens dirty looks. This gave Trixie a idea. "Boys," she said, getting their attention. "How would you gentleman like to make some money?" Back at the Rainboom table, Sonata was getting to be comfortable, since she had Pinkie to help her. Aria just sat there, sometimes talking to the other girls. She noticed Vinyl across the room, and sent her a wave. Vinyl waved back as she listened to her music. After sitting for seemed like forever, Aria had to move. She remembered passing the bathroom on the way to the cafeteria. "I'll be right back," she said as she got up. "Where are you going?" Sonata asked her. "Bathroom," she replied, and then she walked towards the door. A couples minutes pass and the girls notice the time. "Lunch will be over soon, which I guess means you and Aria are heading out," AJ said to her. "Yeah, but don't worry, we'll be back. This wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be," Sonata said with a smile. "I'll go get Aria." "Are you sure you should go alone?" Sunset asked her concerned. "I'll be fine, the bathroom isn't far," Sonata responded. "I don't know Sonata, maybe you should just wait for Aria to come back," Sunset said to her. "It's fine Sunset darling. After all, she wouldn't want to get caught up in the massive drove of people when lunch is over," Rarity stated to her. "Alright Sonata, text me when you and Aria are about to leave," Sunset said. "Okie dokie," and with that, Sonata walked towards the door. Once outside the cafeteria, she could see the bathroom up ahead. She briskly walked down the hallway, until three guys stood in her path. "Excuse me, I need to get through," she said politely. None of the guys moved. Sonata started to get nervous, so she started to walk back the cafeteria, only for that way to be blocked by two more guys. All of them were heavy lifting jocks, the toughest guys in the school. Sonata tried to stay calm, but panic was starting to take over. "Where you going little girl?" one of the guys asked. "Are you lost?" another one said. "You must be if you came back here." "We remember what you and your pals did to this place, what you three did to the people." "And some of us ain't to happy about you showing your faces around her." "So now that we have the opportunity, it's time for some payback." the one said, before drawing back his fist slamming it into Sonata's stomach. The blue siren was knocked back by the hit, slamming against the lockers. Another guy saw the opening and also slammed his fist into her stomach. The siren clutched her stomach, tears starting to form in her eyes from the pain. She slowly fell to the ground and huddled in a ball. "You shouldn't of come back here freak!" "You little monster!" the guy said as he kicked her in the side. "Freak!" another said as he also kicked her. "You and your friends are nothing!" Sonata was full on crying, from the pain and the hurt in her heart. One of the guys forcefully lifted her back up, and slapped her in the face. Another guy punched her in the back. And the last guy full on punched her in the face, knocking her out cold. Her unconscious body fell to the floor, and the guys looked at each other, feeling accomplished. Aria made her way out the bathroom, and saw the group of guys in the hallway. Then she noticed something else, the unconscious body of Sonata Dusk laying at their feet. Pure rage and anger filled her body. She charged down the hallway at the men. One turned towards the noise he heard, only for him to be slammed in the face by Aria's fist. His whole body went flying in front of the others, slamming his head into the metal poll on the side, cracking his skull. One of the other guys retaliated, sending a fist towards Aria. She caught his arm, and snapped the bones in it. He cried out in pain, but was quickly silenced by Aria punching his ribs, breaking a few, and then slammed his head into the wall, breaking his collarbone in the process. Then two of them came at her. She dodged the one and caught both arms of the other. She twisted them behind his back, breaking both of them, and then kicking his leg in. She threw him on the ground hard enough to knock him out, and prepared for the other guy. She caught him by the shoulders, and slammed his head threw the window, glass cutting his face. She brought him back in and threw him against the lockers, knocking him out. She looked at the finally one, who was to scared to move. She looked down at Sonata, and got enough rage to run up and punch him in the chest, cracking his sternum, and sending him flying back far enough to bust through the cafeteria doors. Everyone immediately looked over at what happened. Sunset took one look at beaten up guy, and then burst out of her seat, running towards where he came from, the others not far behind. When they came upon the scene, they say Aria hunched over, cuddling Sonata in her arms, crying. "Oh no," was the only response Sunset could make. A ambulance had been called, and Sonata was being loaded up into it, while the other guys were being put in another one. Sunset had her arm around Aria, who was still crying. Applejack watched the blue siren get fully loaded into the vehicle, when a horrifying thought came to mind. "Who's gonna tell Adagio?" The others felt fear rise in them at the thought. Adagio was cutting carrots when her phone went off. She pulled it out of her pocket and answered. "Hello? Hi Rarity." She started walking to the other side of the kitchen, but stopped frozen. The knife dropped out of her hand and clanged on the floor. "WHAT!!" > Recovery is a nightmare > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Aria and Sunset sat outside the hospital room, waiting for the doctors to finish their examination. Both had been silent all the way to the hospital, and still the silence remained as they sat next to each other. Aria finally broke the silence, "I shouldn't have left." Sunset turned to her, "It wasn't your fault Aria." "It was my fault! I went with her for one reason, to make sure nothing happened, and I fucked it up." she said as a few tears fell down her cheeks. Sunset put a arm around her, trying to comfort the hurt soul. Sunset had never seen Aria this emotional before. Before she and Sonata got together, Sunset sometimes doubted if Aria even had any emotions. But now she saw that there was more to her than meets the eye. "It's my fault Aria, I let her go. It seemed safe at the time, but now I regret it more than anything else." The door to the room opened and the doctors stepped out. The two girls immediately sprung out of their seats and faced them. "How is she?" Aria asked. "She's going to be fine. A few nasty bruises here and there, but nothing permanent. She hasn't regained consciousness yet, which usually by now most people do. In time she'll come back, until then she just needs to rest," the doctor responded to her. "May we see her?" Aria asked again. "Yes, you may," the doctor replied, moving out of the way of the door. The two walked into the room and saw the blue siren laying comfortably on the bed. Aria walked over and placed her hand on top of Sonatas. "I will say, she's doing a heck of a lot better than those guys upstairs that also came from that school. I don't know what happened, but they definitely got the bad end of the deal," the doctor said, exiting the room. "They deserved it," Aria said once he was gone. Sunset wanted to respond, but her focus shifted when she heard something come from down the hallway. "OUT OF THE WAY!!" the voice yelled. The two girls looked outside the room to see Adagio running down the hallway. She quickly entered the room and looked down at the girl. Tears formed in her eyes when she laid sights on her. "Oh Sonata..." she said as she moved next to the bed. She brushed some of the hair out of her face as Aria moved up beside her. Sunset watched as Adagio's look of sadness turned to anger as she turned to the other two. "Who did this to her?" she asked. Sunset was quickly by her side. "A group of guys at the school, but don't worry, Aria already took care of them," she said, hoping Adagio would calm down. "I broke their bones for hurting a member of this family," Aria said as her hate for the guys came back. "I hope they stay broken," Adagio said, looking back down at Sonata. A few hours passed and the trio was still sitting in Sonata's room. Most of the time was spent in silence, only a few times did someone speak up. Soon the rest of the Rainbooms, along with Octavia and Vinyl, came to visit. "Is she alright?" Pinkie asked in a calm but worried tone. "She's going to be sore, but she'll be alright," Sunset replied to her. "She hasn't regained consciousness yet though." "The poor darling," Rarity stated. "Why would they do something like this?" Applejack asked. "Revenge," Twilight spoke up. "They couldn't see that they came back to the school peacefully?" Rainbow Dash asked. "No good ruffians," Rarity said, shaking her head. The group stayed by Sonata's side for most of the day, until it got closer to night. Most of the girls had left by then, leaving the original three. Aria was sitting right next to Sonata's bed, holding her hand, while Adagio and Sunset sat on the two chairs against the wall. Every time Adagio thought about what happened, her anger rose, only until Sunset calmed her down. A knock came at the door, and in walked a nurse. "I came to inform you that visiting hours will be over in about fifteen minutes." Adagio thanked the nurse and she walked out. Both Sunset and Adagio got up, and with one last look at Sonata, they walked out the door. Aria stood up looked down at her. "I'll be back," she said, before kissing Sonata on the forehead and leaving the room. Sunset and Aria had another quite ride while Adagio rode alone, and when they got home, they quickly got ready for bed. Aria set the alarm clock on her phone for as early as she could go visit Sonata. Sunset and Adagio laid in their bed, thinking about the whole day. Sunset felt Adagio's warm hands wrap around her, but something was off. She turned towards her to see tears in the siren's eyes. "Sunset, I'm scared," she said. Sunset was completely blown away at this. Adagio never gets scared, Sunset thought she didn't fear anything, never really had any reason too. But to hear her say that made Sunset tense up. "Of what?" "Of losing you, or Aria, or Sonata. What happened at the school was planned, what if next time it's worse? I couldn't bare losing any of you. I love you all to much to see any of you get taken away!" she said, tears freely flowing down her face. Sunset brought her close, letting Adagio bury her face beneath Sunset's chin. Sunset rested her head on Adagio's soft poofy hair. "We love you too Adagio, and we wouldn't want anything to happen to you either. It'll be alright." Adagio looked up at her, "You really think so?" Sunset looked back down at her, nodding her head. Seeing Adagio, the mighty leader of the Dazzlings, broken down and crying made Sunset hurt on the inside. She pulled her closer, stroking her hair to try to calm her down. Eventually the two fell asleep in each others arms. Morning came and Aria was prepared to leave. On the way out of the hospital last night she asked what the earliest she could come back would be. She made it her mission to be back by Sonata's side as soon as possible. She got in Adagio's car, not caring if Adagio needed it today, and drove to the hospital. Once there, she quickly made her way to Sonata's room. She entered the room to see Sonata just how she was last night. Aria took her spot by the bed. She gracefully ran a finger along the side of Sonata's face, trying to hold back some tears. She felt her phone go off in her pocket, and she pulled it out to see a text from Sunset saying to text her if Sonata wakes up. Aria texted back ok and put down her phone. She placed her hand in Sonata's, hoping for her to wake up. About two hours pass and Aria is still sitting there, one hand in Sonata's and the other holding her phone. Sonata slowly opened her eyes, the blinding light kept them from fully opening. Once she adjusted to it, she peered around to see where she was at. She noticed Aria sitting next to her. "Ari?" Aria shot up out of her seat at the sound of her voice. "Sonata!? Sonata your awake!!" "Where am I?" "Your in the hospital, you was brought here after what happened." The memories came flooding into Sonata's head. The first punch, the other punches, the insults, the kicks, and then the final punch that made everything go black. "What happened to the guys?" "I took care of them, they won't be bothering you anymore." Sonata smiled at her hero. "Thank you Ari." Aria smiled back, holding her hand tightly. "Now let's go ho-ow ow ow ow," she said as she tried to get up, but the pain in her body made her lay back down. "Lay still Sonata, your body is really bruised." Aria told her. As Sonata laid back down, Aria pulled out her phone to text both Sunset and Adagio. Adagio was already on her way to the hospital when she got the text, but she was having trouble getting there since her car was gone. Sunset was putting books in her locker when her phone went off. She took one look at the text before shutting her locker and running for the exit. Sunset passed Adagio walking to the hospital and picked her up. The two quickly made their way inside the building when they got there and over to the room. Happiness spread on their faces at the sight of the awake girl. "Hey guys," Sonata said from her bed. Adagio was quickly by her side, hugging her as gently as she could. Sunset joined by her side, joy written all over her face. The three of them expressed how happy they were to have Sonata back, tears of joy being shed in the process. The doctor came in later and told them that Sonata could go home with them, and be careful with her. Sonata tried to get out of bed, but the pain in her stomach made it hard to get up. Aria reached her arms under her and picked her up, and gently let her down. Sonata stood by her, sore but happy to by her girlfriend once again. The three of them walked out of the hospital and to there cars, the sirens went back home while Sunset went back to school. The news that Sonata was awake made the Rainbooms very happy, and it gave Pinkie the idea to throw a party to celebrate. The day soon came to a end however, and Sonata was sitting on the edge of her bed. Her door creaked open and Adagio looked in. "How are you doing Sonata?" Adagio asked, checking on her one more time before going to bed. "I'm still a little sore, but getting better," she responded. Just before Adagio closed the door, Sonata called her name. "Yes?" Adagio asked. "Can I ask you something?" "Of course you can," Adagio stated, entering the room. "Am...am I a freak?" Adagio sat down beside her. "No your not a freak. Why would you ask that?" "What if those guys were right. What we've done, what I've done, what if I am a monster," she said, starting to cry. Adagio put her arm around Sonata. "Your not a monster Sonata. Yes, we've done terrible things, but it's in the past. We've changed, you've changed, and you can't dwell on past mistakes. Your a good person Sonata, you have a good heart. You make people smile, you bring joy to our lives. We may not always show it, but your special to us Sonata, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise." "*sniff*You really mean it?" "Yes, I mean it with all my heart. And you have others that think the same. You can ask Aria or Sunset, and they'll tell you that your a good person as well. We'll always be here for you Sonata. We love you." Sonata wiped the tears from her eyes and smiled to her, "Thanks Dagi." "Your welcome Sonata." Adagio said with a smile, she was about to get up when a idea popped in her head. "How about tomorrow we go to that taco restaurant you love, just the four of us." "You really mean it!" "Yes, I mean it," Adagio replied to her. "Thank you again Dagi!" Sonata responded. "Your welcome you little taco girl. Now get some sleep, your bruises need to heal," she said as she got up. "Alrighty. Good night Dagi." "Good night Sonata," Adagio replied to her before turning off the lights and closing the door. On another part of town, two other girls were up talking to each other, the two being Twilight and Twi. "So he had a door that made you witness your worst fear?" Twi asked. "Yes, if I didn't have Spike there, I would've been trapped in a endless nightmare." Twilight responded. "Sombra sounds like a scary unicorn." Twi said, putting her arms around her legs. "Sombra was a monster, he worked through fear and dark magic. He enslaved his own ponies, and found satisfaction in it. Everyone assumes him dead, but I've always had this fear that he truly isn't gone." "I liked it better when you talked about discord." Twilight rolled her eyes as she thought about him, "Discord may be reformed, but he's still a problem I have to deal with." "I know this worlds Fluttershy is really nice, but I'm still surprised that she was the one to show him the light." "She's his favorite because of that, and also because the rest of don't care for his company." "As much trouble as he gives you I'm surprised you aren't his favorite." "I'm his favorite to annoy." "Oh." Twi rested her head on her legs and rocked back and forth, thinking of something else to do. "Could you take off your glasses, please?" Twilight asked. "Why?" "I kinda want to see if you take them off and put your hair down if it's like looking in a mirror." "Ok?" Twi replied. She took off her glasses and took her hair down from her ponytail. She looked across at Twilight, who was inspecting her carefully. "Huh, it is like looking in a mirror. But I like you better with the glasses and the ponytail, it's cute." "Thanks," Twi responded, putting her hair back up and glasses on. "So since you've been back, have you talked to Flash any, Sunset told me about you two." "I haven't really. We both said our hellos but no conversations yet. Not that it'll bug me if I don't talk to him." "Why?" "I'm interested in him anymore, or actually in any guys period." Twi's eyes went wide. "You like girls?" "Yeah, I grew tired of looking for a guy, and thought what would it be like to be with a girl. Sunset told me that being with Adagio was the best decision she ever made, so I thought that maybe I could find a girl too." "Interesting." "What about you Twi?" "I-I'm interested in girls too." "Really? I guess the similarities keep coming." "Yeah." The two sat for a couple seconds in silence before Twilight spoke up again. "There's one more thing I want to do before we go off to bed." "What is it?" Twi asked. Twilight shifted in her seat and took a deep breath, letting it out before answering. "I...I want to try kissing you." Twi sat up in her spot and blushed deep red. "What?!" "I want to see what it's like to, kiss yourself...for science of course." Twilight answered. "Um...alright..." Twilight was actually surprised by her answer. "Your sure about this." "Y-yes, I'm interested to see too, for scientific reasons also." "O-ok, here goes." The two of them closed their eyes and locked lips. It started as a gentle kiss, but the more it continued, the more it grew. Twilight moved forward and put her arms around Twi. Twi did the same, making them both closer. Twi's tongue was able to enter Twilight's mouth, and both of their tongues danced together. After a few moans and a few minutes, they parted, leaving a saliva string. The two looked at each other for a few seconds before Twilight once again broke the silence. "That was...interesting." "Yeah...it was," Twi responded. The two moved away from each other to prepare for bed. Once they were both done, Twi spoke up before Twilight left the room. "You won't tell anyone about what happened, right?" "No, I won't. It'll be our own little scientific secret." Twilight replied before walking to the guest room. Twi laid her head on the pillow, a smile formed on her face before she turned out the light. > Intro to a new problem > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Octavia pulled her car up to Pinkie's house. She and Vinyl got out and made their way to the door. "Now Vinyl, when you play your music tonight, don't blow out the speakers this time! The last thing we need is for another unfortunate accident like before," she said as she knocked. Vinyl gave a thumbs up and a smirk as Pinkie opened the door. "Welcome! Come on in!" the pink girl said with more enthusiasm then needed. The two musicians walked in to see everyone was already there. Two made their way towards the specific reason for the party. "We're happy to see your doing better Sonata," Octavia spoke for both of them. "Thanks guys, I'm glad to see you both here," Sonata replied with a smile. "Now that everyone's here, let's party!" Pinkie shouted. She quickly dashed into the kitchen and rolled out a couple tables of food and snacks. Everyone grabbed their plates and dug into the food. "Pinkie this hamburger is delicious," Adagio told her party friend. "Thank you! It took a while to fix but I eventually got it to come out just right," she responded with a large smile. "Some of the best we've ever had!" Sonata also told her. "And we've had our fair share of good food over the years," Aria stated. "Could you tell us some of the experiences you've had?" Pinkie asked as the others gathered around to listen. "Since we've been living on this world for a while we've tried many different plates of food," Adagio told them. "Yeah, and when it comes to meat we've had fish, chicken, duck, goose, cow, pig, hors-" Sonata stopped herself as Sunset and Twilight looked at them suspiciously. "You've eaten horse before?" Twilight said with a small glare. "Well, technically..." "It was delicious," Aria interrupted. "Aria!" Sonata retorted. Aria smirked as she continued, "And we've had pony too." "Disgusting," Sunset commented. "Don't worry Sunset, your best tasting pony I've ever had," Adagio smirked as she put her arm around Sunset. Sunset blushed dark as the others giggled. The group continued eating until everyone was full. A few games were played, and soon Pinkie got another idea on what to do. "Hey Applejack, who's stronger, you or Rainbow Dash?" "Ah, I don't know, wanna figure out?" AJ asked, looking at Rainbow. "Yeah, let's do this!" she replied competitively. The two sat down at a table and locked hands in a arm wrestling competition. Pinkie yelled go and the two began straining to pull the other down. The others watched and tried to guess who would win. After a few minutes of hard pushing, Applejack won. She sat in the chair triumphantly and looked at the others. "Anyone else wanna try?" Aria responded by sitting down in the chair and putting her arm up. AJ put her arm up to, and with Pinkie's go, she tried her hardest to win. But Aria was stronger, and she was not about to lose. The others, with the exception of the two sirens and Sunset, looked in awe. Applejack was one of the strongest, if not the strongest girl at CHS, and to see her losing was odd. "How is Aria that strong?" Rarity asked. "Sirens are naturally strong creatures. They would use their voice to manipulate others, but if it came down to brawling they were also prepared," Twilight informed her. Adagio heard what she said and perked up. "I see someone has studied us before," she said with a grin. "I did before I came here the second time, and also because Sunset has asked me to," Twilight stated, nudging her friend. "Has she now," Adagio smirked towards her now slightly embarrassed girlfriend. Aria took her time beating Applejack, even though she could've easily done it. After AJ's arm was pinned, she leaned back in her chair with the most confident smirk. She looked around at the others to see if there was any other volunteers, fully knowing there wouldn't be. Her smirk got bigger as she went to get up, but it went away when Adagio sat across from her. "Come on Aria, prove to the others whose the strongest siren," she said with a evil smirk. Aria put her arm on the table, and so did Adagio. Pinkie yelled go and Aria pulled with all her might, but Adagio's arm didn't budge at all. The others watched with even more awe as Aria struggled for a few minutes, before Adagio slammed her hand down in victory. After that the poofy haired siren took back her spot next to Sunset. "How? How are you that strong?" Rainbow asked. Adagio laughed before responding, "Like I've said before, I'm full of surprises." The night went on with a few more games, and eventually the group split up into two parts. The first part was the group that was currently having a videogame battle royale. The second group was outside enjoying the cool evening breeze. In this group was Adagio, Rarity, Octavia, Twilight, and Fluttershy. "I'm happy to see Sonata is doing better," Rarity stated. "Yeah, she still has some bruises, but she's doing well," Adagio said to her. "I've never seen Aria so caring before," Fluttershy commented. Adagio smiled, "She loves that little airhead more than anything else." "Despite their personalities being so different, and I thought you and Applejack were the odd couple," Octavia stated to her fancy friend. Rarity rolled her eyes at the comment. "Really Octavia." "Speaking of couples, you and Vinyl go together pretty well," Adagio smirked to the cellist. "W-were just friends," Octavia stated quickly. She regained her composure before continuing, "we always have been." "And you wouldn't want it to be more than that?" Adagio asked. Octavia went to answer, but she hesitated for a few seconds. Those few seconds were all Adagio needed. "So you don't know?" the siren smiled. "I...I honestly don't know," she answered, looking at the ground. "No one tell Vinyl this!" "We won't, you can trust us darling," Rarity said with a smile. Adagio turned her attention to Twilight. "How about you Princess, got anyone special in your castle?" "Nope," Twilight responded. "Are you sure about that?" "Your not getting to me Adagio, I know how you work," Twilight said with crossed arms. Adagio shrugged her shoulders, "Alright, if you say so." Octavia thought of the question that was on everyone's mind after what had happened at the school. "Adagio, what would you do if someone hurt Sunset, or tried to take her away?" Everyone had seen what Aria would do for Sonata, now they were curious what their leader would do for her girlfriend. Adagio thought about her answer when she noticed a bug scurry past her foot. She stepped on the back of it and watched it wiggle under foot. "I'd hunt them down, put them through pain they couldn't comprehend, then watch as they cry for their lives to end and be sent to hell," she said as she slowly stepped on the front of the bug, killing it under her foot. "O-ok...noted..." Octavia said, stepping back a little. Just then Pinkie poked her head outside and called them back in. The party was soon coming to a close when Adagio noticed Octavia and Vinyl standing next to the drink table. "Watch this," she said to the others as she walked over to the two. She acted like she tripped next to them, bumping into Octavia. The act had made Octavia fall on top of Vinyl, and as they hit the ground their lips connected. Octavia blushed deep red when she noticed what happened. She cut the kiss and helped Vinyl back up. "Vinyl I'm so sorry! I didn't mean for that to-" she was cut short by Vinyl placing a finger on her lips. She smiled at the blushing cellist and replaced her finger with her lips. Octavia was shocked at first, but it didn't take her long to kiss back, putting her arms around the DJ. Adagio grabbed a drink and walked back to the others, a confident smile on her face. "Why did you do that?" Fluttershy asked. "They just needed a little push, in the right direction," Adagio answered, looking back at the two. The group slowly moved out of the room to give the new lovebirds some privacy. Octavia backed out of the kiss to talk, "Vinyl, I never thought I'd say this, but I care for you, a lot. I love you." Vinyl could feel some tears form in her eyes before she gave her answer in the form of another kiss. After a few minutes of kissing, they joined the others, hand in hand. The party was soon over and everyone made their ways out to leave. On way the back to her house, Twi was fighting herself in her head. During the party, she tried her best to not think about Sunset, but she couldn't stop. Her pretty face, that gorgeous hair, her lovely body kept popping into her mind. She new she had to stop, she new Midnight used it as fuel to grow in her head. The fact that Midnight hadn't spoken to her for awhile made her nervous. Twi knew she wasn't gone, she would be back. Once they were home, the two got ready for bed and headed for their rooms. Twi sat on her bed, wanting to get the sunny girl out of her head. She tried to think of how to, when a idea finally popped in her head. A knock came at her door, and Twilight walked in. "Hey, just came to check on you. It looked like something was bothering you on the way home," Twilight said to her, sitting down next to her. "It was nothing, really," Twi replied. "Twilight...would you want to...run our little scientific secret again?" Twilight blushed a little and thought about what to say. "Yeah, we can try again." "Are you sure?" "Yes," Twilight responded before kissing her. Twi immediately wrapped her arms around the princess and pulled her forward. Twilight moaned as Twi's tongue entered her mouth, rubbing against her own. As the two kissed, Twi slowly laid down on her back, and Twilight rested on top of her. The two made out for awhile before separating. "Your, a really good kisser," Twilight said as she looked down at the other girl. "So are you," Twi replied. Twilight got off of her and helped her up. The two sat next to each for a couple seconds in silence before Twilight spoke up. "I guess I'll head to bed, goodnight." "Goodnight Twilight." Twi rested her head on her pillow, happy that her mind was now clear. That same night, next to the school building, Trixie was waiting for certain people to show up for a meeting. She turned when she heard several footsteps approach her position. "It's about time," Trixie stated agitated. "You could've picked to meet during the day," a voice came from the shadows. "Trixie was busy today." "What do you want anyway," came another voice. "Trixie needs help getting some revenge on two bothersome groups of individuals, the Rainbooms and their monstrous friends the Dazzlings." "Why should we care about your problems?" "Trixie needs some help, and if you help, Trixie will give you enough money to send your class on that cruise you want so much." Out of the shadows stepped the Shadowbolts, with the one in front grinning. "We're listening." A couple days have passed, and neither Twilight nor Twi had spoken about their experiment to each other since it happened. Twi was getting more and more worried about Midnight and what she had planned, since the demon was being so quiet. Twilight was laying in her bed, dreaming about sitting around, laughing with her friends, when all of a sudden Midnight appeared. She evaporated her friends, except for Sunset, who she ripped out of the clutches of Twi. Midnight hovered Sunset in air before draining her of magic and her life. Sunset fell back down to ground as a gray lifeless corpse. "NO!!" Twi screamed as she sat up in bed. She looked around her room and remembered that it was just a dream. She grabbed her legs and rested her head on them as Twilight busted into the room. "Twi, what's wrong?! I heard you scream," Twilight asked quickly. "It's...it's nothing Twilight, just a nightmare." "Was it Midnight again?" Twi nodded her head she looked down. Twilight walked over and sat beside her, putting a arm around her. "Twi, I'm really worried about you. You can't let her keep doing this to you, you'll go crazy. Tell me what's wrong, what she keeps hurting you with." Twi brought her head up and looked at Twilight, and she saw the worry in her eyes. She had to tell her, she had to tell someone. "Alright, promise you won't judge?" "I promise Twi, just let me help you." "I need to confess something. I...I have a crush on Sunset." Twilight was taken back by this. "You have a crush on Sunset?" "Yes, I don't know why," she said as tears came to her eyes, "I know she's happily dating Adagio, but I can't get her out of my mind. I've liked her ever since she helped me escape from what I'd become. I try to move on, but Midnight won't let me. She knows I still love her, and she uses it to her benefit. I think she's planning something, but I don't know what." Twilight brought the girls own hands into hers. "Twi, I know it must be difficult, but you need to let Sunset go. You can't hang on to it anymore, or else Midnight will drive you to insanity, or worse. Let go Twi. Is there anything that helped you forget about her?" Twi knew the answer, but she didn't really want to say it. "Your kissing did, it's why I asked about it the second time." Twilight leaned forward and kissed her lovingly. She did this for almost a minute before pulling away. "Move on Twi, don't feed the demon anymore. If it takes me kissing you everyday, I'll do it, I just don't want to see you suffer." "Why do you care so much?" Twi asked between tears. "Because I love you Twi." "Y-you...love me?" "Yes Twi, I love you. Let go of your feelings, be free." Twi looked at the princess with tear filled eyes. She closed her eyes, and took a deep breath. She opened her eyes back up and smiled at Twilight. "Thank you Twilight." "Your welcome Twi. Now hopefully she'll leave you alone, but if she doesn't, I'll be here to help you." Twi nodded her head, "Do you actually love me, or was that just to help me release my feelings?" "I was actually being serious." Twi didn't know how to respond. Someone was actually in love with her, but it was herself. "And you don't find that to be...weird." "I'm a pony princess from another dimension, weird is a day to day thing for me." "True." "I can't imagine what you must be thinking, another version of yourself loving you. A version that's technically not human." "I'm...actually ok with it." Twilight sat shocked. "Really? Your ok with it?" "Yeah, one of the reasons I was able to let go of Sunset, was because those feelings were replaced...by you." Twilight sat there, wondering how to respond. She decided to just kiss her again. Twi kissed her back, but with a new passion this time. The two shared each others passion until Twilight fell on her back, and Twi laying on top of her. "Twi." "Yes Twilight?" "I think it's time we expand our scientific experiment." Twi blushed hard at what she meant. "You really want to?" "Yes, I want you. All of you." Twi responded by kissing her again before removing her pajama top. She went back to kissing as Twilight removed her pajama pants. With her now in just her black bra and panties, it was Twilight's turn. Soon she was just in her underwear too, and the two went back to kissing. They felt up each other's bodies, but soon decided it was time for everything to come off. The two quickly removed the remaining clothes and looked at each other's naked bodies. Twi moved back down to kiss Twilight, letting their bare bodies rub against each other. "I want to see how you taste," Twilight said, breaking the kiss. Twi responded by moving her pussy above Twilight's face. Twilight gave it a lick, sending chills through Twi's body. Twilight continued to lick her pussy, going deeper and deeper into it. Twi moaned as she felt herself get eaten out. "Oh yes Twilight, fuck yes." Twilight licked her clit, making Twi moan loudly. She picked up speed with her licks, savoring ever taste. Twi could feel her climax approaching, but she wanted to hold it off. She rocked her body to rhythmically go along with Twilight's licks. Twilight stuck her tongue deep into Twi, making her moan louder than before. Twi leaned back and moaned as her climax released, to which Twilight licked up the juices and swallowed. Twi panted as she looked down at Twilight. "My turn," she said as she moved down towards Twilight's pussy. She noticed how wet it was, and gave it a nice long lick. Twilight moaned at the contact, pleasure sweeping through her as Twi began to continuously lick her. Twi gave her clit a hard lick, earning a loud moan from Twilight. She went deeper inside the princess, enjoying the taste. Twilight's climax came quicker than Twi's, but it didn't stop Twilight from feeling absolute ecstasy. Twi moved up to lay beside Twilight, placing her head just under Twilight's. "That was amazing," Twi stated. "Yeah, it was. You taste really good." "So do you." Twi rested her head on Twilight's chest, while she rubbed her hand up and down Twilight's body. "What do you think the others will say, when they learn about us?" "With the relationships going around, I don't think we have anything to worry about," Twilight said with a smile. She kissed Twi before smirking at her. "Ready to continue?" "Yeah, definitely," Twi responded. The night was far from over for them two. > Trying new things > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sunset sat at the desk in her and Adagio's room working on a school assignment. She'd been there every since she got home, not really paying attention to anything else that was happening. Not that much was happening, Sonata was being relatively quiet for the day, Aria was sitting in her room listening to her music, and Adagio was trying to teach Scarlett how to constrict something slowly and by her command, why she was doing this no one bothered to ask. The poofy haired leader eventually ended the lesson and put her pet back into its tank. She slowly walked over to the studious girl and put her arms around her, leaning down to rest her head on top of Sunset's. "You've been quite the busy girl Sunny, why don't you take a break with me and relax," she said, rubbing her head against the other girls. "Sorry Adagio, but I need to finish this. It's due this week and I haven't had time to work on it." "Oh Sunny, you can finish this later. Have some fun with me." "Not now Adagio." "I've thought of something different we could try." "I said not now!" Sunset yelled. Adagio quickly removed her hands from around her and stepped back. Sunset quickly regretted her outburst and turned towards Adagio, seeing the siren slightly hurt by it. "I'm sorry Dagi, I shouldn't of yelled. I've just been stressed about this." Adagio watched her spin back around and continue her work, when a idea popped in her head. She stepped back up to her and began to massage her shoulders. "This should help with your stress." Sunset smiled at the feeling of her soft hands do their work. Adagio always did give good massages, since she could work wonders with her hands, in more ways than one. She continued on with her work as her stress slowly moved on, giving her more opportunity to focus on the actual work. After about a hour of concentration and Adagio's massage, Sunset finished her assignment, smiling with a load of confidence. "I'm so glad that's done," she stated, stretching her arms in the air. "Thanks for the massage Dagi." "Oh don't thank me yet," Adagio replied, moving her hands from Sunset's shoulders to her breasts. Sunset gave a quick moan at the sudden touch, but she regained herself and placed her hands on top of Adagio's. "Now that your done, we can spend the rest of the day together," Adagio whispered in her ear before licking the girls neck. Sonata walked out of her room and towards Adagio's. She was about to knock when she heard moaning come from inside. 'Jeez already, it's a little early for that,' she thought to herself. Despite Sonata acting ditzy and innocent most of the time, she actual possessed quite the dirty mind. She wasn't as bad as Adagio, but she was worse than Aria. But unlike Adagio, the blue siren kept it to herself. The only person to know about this is Aria, who quickly found out about it during their night of pleasure. Sonata stood at the door deciding on whether or not to knock. She didn't want to disturb them, but she wanted to talk to them. She finally decided to knock, which made the girls on the inside stop what they were doing and look at the door. "What?" Adagio asked. "I want to talk to you two about something," Sonata replied. Sunset got up from her seat and walked to the door. "What do you need?" she asked, opening the door. Sonata walked in and waited for the door to close. She took a breath before answering. "I want to go back to the school." The two other girls stared at her in disbelief. "What!?" they both asked. "Do you not remember what happened last time?!" Adagio asked her. "Of course I do, sometimes I can't sleep because of it. But we need to forgive them for what they did, it's part of friendship and kindness in general. Forgive and forget. Sunset and the others did it for us, now it's our turn." Adagio and Sunset looked at the blue girl and then at each other. Sunset was both surprised and touched by Sonata's act of kindness. Adagio was at first full heartily against it, but she realized that she was right, others did it for them, now it was their turn to do the same. "Have you told Aria about this?" Sunset asked. "Not yet, I came to you two first because I knew you would understand more than anyone Sunset, and I kinda need Adagio's permission to leave the house," she said, looking at her leader. "What do you think?" Sunset asked Adagio. Sunset was for it, but she knew Adagio had more word in this than she did. "*sigh*Fine, but you better see what your girlfriend says first," Adagio warned. Sonata called Aria to the room, and soon the purple siren was there, one ear bud in her ear. "What do you want?" she asked, half listening to her music. "I want to go back to the school." Aria shut off her music and grabbed Sonata by her shoulders. "You wanna what!!" "Aria listen, I know what happened last time wasn't easy for us, but we need to forgive and forget. We did awful things and we were forgiven, so now we need to do the same." Aria looked up from her girlfriend at the two other. "You two don't agree with her right?" "Aria, it's like she said, you need to forgive and forget. It isn't easy, but it's part of being a good person," Sunset stated. Aria looked over at Adagio, "What about you?" "I agree with them," she said, making Aria look at all three of them. Aria thought long and hard about what they said. True, they were given a second chance, but why should those people have one. She thought about how horrible they were, but then she reminded herself how horrible they were too. In all actuality, they were much worse than those guys, but they were given a second chance and a shot at friendship. "*sigh*Alright fine, but I'm not leaving your side at all this time," Aria told her, bringing Sonata in for a hug. Sonata smiled into the hug. "Thanks Ari." The two younger sirens left the room, leaving the two owners of it alone. Adagio smiled and reached around to grab Sunset's boobs again. "Now, where were we," she said as her hands worked magic. Over at the Sparkle's house, the two purple humans were cuddling in a chair, reading a book. Neither one of them had spilled the beans yet about their relationship, but in their defense, there hadn't been a good time yet. Twi had been busy with some school work, and Twilight had to go back to Equestria for a few days to solve a problem. But soon they were both back in each others arms, and ready to tell the others. "Twilight?" Twi asked, looking up from the book. "Yes Twi?" "I've been meaning to ask, how will our relationship work if I live here, and you live in Equestria?" Twilight closed the book and set it aside. She hadn't really thought about that, but now she realized it was a pretty big issue. She pondered on the question before coming up with a solution. "Sunset's book." "What?" "You could use Sunset's book to talk to me, kinda like how you text people in this world. I would try to visit as much as I could, but I guess it would have to be like a long distance relationship." "Could we last like that?" "I believe we can." Twi rested her head against Twilight, thinking about their future. She did love the princess, so no limitation should stop her from loving her. "I can't believe I'm technically dating a princess." "Is that stranger than knowing your dating a version of yourself, and a pony?" "It's still a little odd to think about, but I don't really think of you as me. And for the second part, your human here, so it doesn't bother me." "What if I wasn't human, and I came over as a pony still?" "I would be seriously questioning my sanity," Twi replied, making both girls giggle. "I'm actually curious about what you like as a pony." "Maybe one day you can come with me to Equestria and find out," Twilight said to her, making Twi sit up. "That could happen?" "I could have it arranged, I mean I come here so I can't see why you couldn't see my world." "That would be interesting, and fun." "Yeah, although I don't know how the others would react to seeing two of me," Twilight said with a small laugh. "True. I'm still worried about what the others in this world are going to say." "I'm sure they'll be fine with it. If not, you can come live with me in the land of ponies," Twilight replied to her, giving another laugh. The two giggled for a few minutes before calmly looking into each other's eyes. The two began to kiss, putting their arms around each other. Twilight slid her hand under Twi's skirt, feeling her way up her thigh and finally into her sweet spot. "Not wearing anything under this, I'm surprised your that bold." Twi blushed as she felt her lower region get penetrated. "I wasn't going to go anywhere like this, I was saving it as a surprise for later. "Well, I am surprised," Twilight told her, pulling her hand back out. She licked her fingers before moving off the chair to in front of Twi. She pulled of her skirt, and put her head in between the Twi's legs. Twi moaned as the princess ate her out. Deep in Twi's mind, Midnight sat and watched the princess do her work. Midnight was also busy working herself, sliding her fingers in out as she masturbated to the scene going on outside. She licked her lips when Twilight began to undress, taking in once again every detail of her body. As Twilight and Twi got hot and wet, so did Midnight. The day had come for Sonata and Aria to give the school another try, but this time Adagio was with them. They walked up to the school, and with a group sigh, walked in. Sunset once again met them, giggling when they walked in. "Now this really feels familiar," Sunset said with a smile. "Have you told anyone we're here?" Aria asked, skipping Sunset's joke. "Nope, no one knows your here except for me and the Principal. Speaking of which, she wants to speak with you Adagio." The leader walked towards the office Sunset pointed to and walked in. Sunset had informed Principal Celestia of the visit, and the Principal wanted to see for herself that the Dazzlings wouldn't want revenge for what happened last time. The two others walked with Sunset to the lunch room, but before they went in, they peered through the windows. Everyone was sitting at the tables, and Sonata found the guys who hurt her. They were sitting with the other athletes of the school, but they were covered in bandages and casts. Sonata took a breath and walked in, Aria and Sunset closely behind. The room fell almost completely silent as everyone turned their gaze at the new people. Sonata didn't make it far into the room when one of the jocks stood up, as best as he could, and yelled asking why they were here. Sonata calmly walked over to him, and looked up into his. "I'm here forgive you, and show everyone that we've changed." The jock was very surprised by this, so surprised he had to sit back down. He couldn't find words to say, except thank you and we're sorry. Sonata smiled to him, and others, then joined the other two as they walked over to the Rainboom's table. "I...I can't believe you actually came to do that," Twilight said in awe. "Forgive and forget," Sonata said as she took a bite out of a taco she got somehow. "You didn't tell us they were coming Sunset?" Rarity commented. "Surprise," Sunset replied as the others welcomed them back. The other students were not so welcoming. They began to talk among themselves, but after a while a group of them got the boldness to walk over to them. "Why are you back, don't you know no one wants you here," the guy in front said. "Hey! Be nice to them, can't you see they don't want any trouble!" Rainbow said, standing up for them figuratively and literally. "Why should we, they've done nothing but cause trouble. Because of her, our sports teams are shit right now," he said, pointing to Aria. "That's because those guys hurt her girlfriend, and she wasn't about to let it slid!" Applejack stated, also standing up with Rainbow. "Oh her girlfriend, sorry, I forgot she's dating that pathetic little girl." Aria could feel the anger boiling inside her, but she new this was supposed to be a peaceful trip. "Hey, that's not nice to say! Sonata is a great person!" Pinkie responded, putting her arm around the blue siren. "Of course you guys side with them, you side with every evil person that comes along!" "Excuse me!" Sunset said as she stood. "It all started with you. First you pull that she-demon stunt, and then they show up. You befriend them, saying they've changed. And then you befriend that little psycho right there," he said, pointing at Twi, " she tries to kill us by ripping holes in the world. But no it's fine, they've changed. Of course you'd say that, monsters stick together!" Twi could feel tears welling up in her eyes. Twilight put a arm around her and looked back at the group with a stern face. Sunset wanted to punch this guy more than anything, but she new that wouldn't solve anything. "They have changed, they've become better people!" Sunset informed him. The rest of the room was fully into the conversation they were having. More students joined the group, surrounding the table. Sonata was regretting her decision as she moved closer to Aria. "I want to go home," she whispered to her. Aria wanted to leave too, not that she was intimidated, she just didn't want to stick around to see if she could hold it together. "We can leave once Adagio gets here," she whispered. Then it struck her. 'Adagio, where is she? Her meeting shouldn't have been this long?' Aria thought to herself. "Look everyone, the she-demon is backing up the monsters!" the guy shouted into the room. Others began to mockingly laugh. "Oh and we haven't even gotten to the real messed up part yet. The part about how the she-demon is dating the leader of the monsters! And would you look at that, she isn't here to defend you, what a trusting girl you have. She's probably off somewhere jerking off some guy under spell!" Sunset clenched her teeth as her hands formed into fists. She was really struggling to not beat the crap out of this asshole. "You think she actually cares about you, she probably swings between sex partners as much as she swings her hips!" More laughter came from the crowd. "I wonder what her response would be if I just slapped her little demon right now!" he said as he brought up his hand. He was a bought to bring it down when a knife flew past him and the others and stuck to the wall. Everyone turned towards the direction it came, just to gasp loudly as they saw who the thrower was. There, standing at the door, was Adagio Dazzle, and she was pissed. The whole room fell silent as she walked forward, her footsteps echoing in the quiet room. Her look of anger turned to a evil grin as she approached Sunset and the guy. She stopped just in front of the two, looking to see if Sunset and the others were ok, before turning to the guy. The man turned pale and shook in shoes, fear gripping his every bone. "You want to know what my response would be?" she asked in a calm, evil tone. The man gulped before answering. "Y--y-yes..." He couldn't back down now, in his mind, he knew he had already dug his own grave. Adagio calmly walked towards the wall, people moving away as she approached. Ever since the Valentine's Day party, the news that Sunset was dating Adagio was all over the school, and people were not happy about it. But no one dared approach Sunset about it, in fear of Adagio. Very few knew why they were scared of her, but the feeling of fear was something that the entire room felt, whether or not they understood why. The Rainbooms, as well as the two sirens, were beginning to feel worried about what she would do. Rarity, Fluttershy, and Twilight remembered what Adagio said outside of Pinkie's house, and it made them very worried. Sunset had calmed Adagio down before, but this was different. Even Sonata and Aria, who were used to Adagio's angry breakdowns, were worried what she would do. "I wouldn't be happy," the siren said as she pulled the knife out of the wall. "Not very happy at all." She turned and started walking back to him. "But your in a school, and I've made a agreement with the leaders of this establishment that we have come peacefully, and I will keep my word. We are here to show you all that we have changed, and that we want nothing more than forgive and forget." Adagio joined Sunset, standing by her side. Her friends let out a sigh, happy that things didn't go horribly wrong. "Um...ok, alright. I see," the guy said, turning to walk away as everyone else began to sit back down. Adagio brought back her evil grin as she grabbed the guys shoulder and pulled him back, putting the knife to his face. "But if any of you threaten the safety of my family or my friends again, nothing in this world will stop me from making your life a living hell! Is. That. Clear!" "Yes! Absolutely!!" "I don't want to see you around Sunset ever again! Now get out of my face," she said, letting him go. The guy ran away from her, running out of the room and down the hall. Adagio sat down next to Sunset, a confident smile on her face. "Is everyone alright?" "Y-yes, we're fine darling," Rarity replied. The next few seconds were silent, until Sunset spoke up. "Dagi, you wasn't going to do anything to him, right?" "Of course not Sunset, I'm just making sure he doesn't hurt you or anyone else. I didn't just for you." Twilight spoke up next. "W-what would you have done if it was up to you, and there wasn't anything holding you back?" Adagio twirled the knife in her hand, letting out a evil laugh. That's all Twilight needed as a answer. "Adagio, where did you get that knife?" Aria asked. "My hair." "What?" "Pinkie explained to me one time that you can carry stuff in your hair. I took her advice, and now it's how I conceal and carry." Pinkie let out a gasp, "You actually tried it!" "Yes Pinkie, yes I did." "That's so cool! I'm not the only one anymore!" she said as she pulled a small confetti cannon out her hair and set it off. Adagio laughed and concealed her knife back into the curls of her hair. Everyone in the cafeteria calmed down from what had happened. No one even sent a dirty look towards their table, as fear of what would happen kept them from doing it. But one girl wanted to be different from the rest. She moved from her table and walked over to the Rainbooms/Dazzlings, and sat next to Adagio. Everyone gave her a confused look, especially Adagio. "Wanna muffin?" the girl asked, extending her hand as she presented a little muffin. "Thank you?" Adagio said, excepting the gift. "My names Derpy, wanna be friends?" "Um...why?" "Because I want to show you that not everyone in this school hates you guys, I think your cool. And also I think your hair is awesome." "Thank you...Derpy." Adagio said, as two more girls sat down at the table, but this time across from them. "Hi, I'm Lyra!" one of them said. "And I'm Bon Bon! Nice to meet you guys!" The three Dazzlings were very confused. People were actually trying to talk to them, after what had happened. "You three are being to pushy, give them some time to think," Octavia said as she and Vinyl joined the table. Vinyl sat down next to Aria, and showed her a text on her phone that read, I made a new song, wanna hear it? "Sure," she replied. Vinyl took off her headphones, and Aria put them on. The music began to play, and Aria enjoyed it immensely. "This is really good!" Vinyl smiled as she watched Aria move her head to the beat. The new girls chatted with Adagio and Sonata, and soon the tension from earlier was gone. Lunch came to a end, and the students began to pile out of the lunch room. Derpy, Lyra, and Bon Bon said by to the their new acquaintances. "I guess today wasn't so bad after all," Sonata said with a smile as she and the other sirens walked with Sunset to the building exit. The group stopped as they heard Twilight quickly walk towards them. "I forgot to tell you guys, but tonight Twi and I want you guys, as well as the others, to meet us at Sugarcube Corner." "Did something happen?" Sunset asked. "Is it your birthday?" "No, but something did happen, and we get to tell you all tonight. I'll see you four there," she said before walking away. "Odd, but ok. Not like we had any plans anyway," Adagio stated. "We did," Sonata said, making Aria blush. "Oh really, what kind of plans?" Aria quickly covered Sonata's mouth when she went to answer. "Nothing!" "Right," Sunset said as she and Adagio giggled at the couple. Later that evening, the whole group was at Sugarcube Corner, not knowing why. Twilight and Twi sat at the head of the table, looking at everyone and their confused expressions. "Twilight, what's this about. Is it because of today?" AJ asked. "No no Applejack, we don't need to worry about today. The two of us want to tell you guys something." Aria leaned over to Rainbow Dash. "Twenty bucks they say their dating," she whispered to the rainbow girl. "I'll take you up on that. There's no way that's what this is about," Dash whispered back. "What we want to tell you guys is...Twilight and I are dating," Twi told everyone. Everyone sat in their seats, both shocked and very confused, except for Aria. She smirked over at Rainbow Dash and held out her hand. Dash rolled her eyes and placed the money in the purple girl's hand. "It finally happened," Adagio said, breaking the awkward silence. "What happened?" Twilight asked. "There's a couple weirder than Sonata and Aria," she responded, earning a glare from Sonata. "I um...I'm happy for you Twilight...and Twilight..." Rarity stated. "We know it's odd, and probably goes against so many things, but we love each other," Twilight said, putting a arm around Twi. "You mean you love yourself," Aria spoke up. "Well, technically yes..." Twi replied. "Is it incest or masturbation if you two had sex?" Pinkie asked. The two Twilights blushed as the others gave Pinkie a look of why. "What? Just asking." "Whether or not it's odd, congratulations Twilight and Twi!" Sunset said with a smile. "I knew it was coming," Aria stated, leaning back in her chair. Both Twilights looked at her confused. "I've been able to perfectly predict who liked who in this room. Except for this idiot," she said, pointing at Sonata, which made her giggle. The group talked for a couple hours, before deciding it was time to leave since the store was closing. When Sunset went to brush her teeth, she saw that Adagio was already in the bathroom, taking a shower. She rolled her eyes and took her stuff to the downstairs bathroom. She walked inside to see Aria standing in front of the mirror, in just her underwear. "Sorry Aria, I didn't know you was in here," she said, going to walk back out. "You can still brush your teeth in here you know, I really don't care," she said, turning to the leaving girl. "Are you sure?" "Yeah, I know Adagio likes to have the entire bathroom to herself, she used to hog it all the time when we lived in a apartment." Sunset walked back inside and over to the mirror. When she moved in with them, Sunset knew something likes this was bound to happen. She was just happy she wasn't naked. She took one look at Aria, and noticed that she was incredibly curvy. She quickly withdrew from looking at her, but not before Aria noticed. "Like what you see?" Aria asked with a smirk. Sunset quickly went to respond but Aria stopped her. "I'm just kidding, I know I'm good to look, all three of us are. But I wouldn't do it when Adagio's around, she might get jealous." "Why are you so comfortable with...this?" "Cause your family," she responded. "You really think of me as family?" "Well, you are dating our leader, and you live with us, and you stand up for us like your one of us, so yeah, I think you are." "Oh, well, thank you." "Don't mention it," she said with a small smile. "I...want to thank you for what you've done for us. You gave us friendship, and you've stood up for us multiple times, like today. I also want to thank you for being there for Sonata. You've shown you really care about her, about us, and I'm really thankful for that." "Of course I do Aria, I also think of you three as family. No matter what happens, I will be there for you three, I promise." Aria looked into the mirror and gave a small smile. She then gave Sunset a hug, her smile getting bigger. "Thank you." "Your welcome," she said as she hugged back. A few seconds go by and Sunset remembered that Aria was practically naked, and they were hugging in the bathroom. "Aria, you can let go now," she said, becoming very conscious of having Aria's half naked body against hers. Aria let her go and went to walk out of the bathroom, only to run into Sonata, who was also in her underwear. "Aria, I came to ask you about-oh hey Sunset, what brings you done here?" "I...uh..." she stammered as she looked at the two sirens in just their underwear. "I came to brush my teeth." "Cool!" Sonata responded. Sunset calmly, but quickly made her way out of the bathroom and up the stairs. She rushed into the room and closed the door, just as Adagio walked out the bathroom, also in just her underwear. "Where did you go?" Adagio asked. "I went to brush my teeth downstairs, and ended up running into Aria and Sonata...like that," she responded, pointing to how Adagio was dressed. "Did you enjoy it while it lasted?" she asked with a smirk. "Would you like them to join us tonight?" "What? No!" "Are you sure? I know Aria has quite the curves, and so does Sonata." "No!" "I'm just kidding Sunset, your all mine," she said as she pulled Sunset against her. "All mine." In a different house, Twi was laying on her bed comfortably. Twilight was in the guest room, the two had decided that they would save their energy for tomorrow instead of having sex that night. Twi drifted off into sleep, a smile on her face as she thought about how she and Twilight had finally revealed their relationship. Twi opened her eyes to see what dream she would have tonight, but it didn't look like a dream. She couldn't describe what the place looked like, but it was odd. She sat down on what looked a chair, but it quickly formed into a table. She was about to get up when part of the table formed up from it to make chains, and those chains locked around her wrists and ankles, restraining her to the table. She tugged to get loose, but stopped when she heard a sinister laugh. She looked around, and gasped when Midnight descended in front of her. "Well, well, well, look what we have here. Little Twilight has entered my domain." "Midnight! Where am I?" "Your in your subconscious Twi, this is where I spend my days, looking out on the real world through your eyes." "What are you doing? I thought you stopped?" "You think just because you got over Sunset I would leave you alone. For someone as smart as you, you should've known I would never stop." "Let me go!" "Can't do that I'm afraid, I want control, and now I'm going to take it." "I'll never give you control!" "Of course you wouldn't, which is why I'm going to take it from you." "H-how?" "Your mind was already vulnerable because of you being so distracted by Twilight. So now I just need to have you so relaxed, that your mind will put me in the driver seat." "H-how will you do that?" Midnight licked her lips, her long tongue sticking out of her mouth. "You know, I've been watching you and Twilight have some fun," she flew down to beside Twi, "and it turned me on every time." She began to rip Twi's clothes, leaving nothing till she was completely naked. Twi blushed and struggled more, but she watched as Midnight disrobed herself, revealing her naked body. The demon rubbed her body against Twi's, making the girl shift around uncomfortably. "What's the matter Twi, I thought you like getting dirty with yourself." Twi tried her best to break free, but Midnight had her trapped, right where she wanted her. She closed her eyes, hoping her own body would wake up, but they shot back open when she felt Midnight's tongue enter her body. A moan escaped her lips as she felt the tongue move around inside her. Midnight moved her tongue out of her pussy, and into her mouth. Her long demon tongue wrapped around Twi's, making her moan against her will. She made out with her prisoner for a couple minutes, before leaving and going back to her original destination. The force of her licks and size of her tongue made Twi orgasm very quickly, but Midnight wasn't done. She made Twi orgasm several times, kissing her in between each one so she could taste her own juices. Midnight had her tongue all over Twi, tasting her all over. She made Twi orgasm so many times, the poor girl eventually passed out, her naked body laying on her table. Midnight laughed at her success, and moved close to Twi. "I'm going to enjoy getting my power back. And don't worry, I'll take good care of Twilight," she said before giving a evil laugh. Twi woke up the next morning, and looked around the room. She got out of bed and headed for the bathroom. There she passed Twilight in the hall. "Good morning Twi!" the princess said as she walked towards the kitchen. "Good morning Twilight!" she said with a smile. She walked into the bathroom and looked into mirror. "Your looking really good today Twilight. Or should I say, Midnight," she said with a evil smirk. > A dawning shadow > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rarity leaned against the entrance of the barn, waiting for her girlfriend to finish her farm work. She peered down at her nails, inspecting them carefully to see if they remained perfect. She shot back up to look when the barn doors opened, and a sweaty Applejack emerged into the opening. Rarity gave her a smile as AJ whipped the sweat from her head. "I'm never doing that again for Applebloom, that youngin needs to learn to do it herself," Applejack stated, picking up the water bottle she had sitting next to Rarity. "Well now you don't have to worry about it anymore darling, it's over," Rarity said to her, walking over and putting a hand on her shoulder, not hard enough to get sweat on it. "Now we can spend some time together." Applejack gave a sweet smile, placing her hand on top of Rarity's. "Yeah, I'll get cleaned up and then we can go to that restaurant you love so much for a date, how does that sound?" Rarity held her hand as the two of them started walking towards the house. "That sounds wonderful darling." Once inside the house AJ walked upstairs to prepare, while Rarity sat down on the couch, crossing her legs in a proper manner. Applebloom walked out of the kitchen and spotted her sitting on the couch, and decided to join her. "Howdy Rarity!" she said, plopping down on the other side of the couch. "Hi Applebloom, how are you doing?" Rarity responded to her with a kind smile. "I'm doing good, how about you?" "Doing fabulous darling, just waiting on your sister so we can go out this evening." "Oh, you two goin on a date?" Applebloom asked, a giddy smile forming on her face. Rarity put her hand up to her mouth as she gave a small laugh. "Yes Applebloom, we are going to that fancy restaurant in the mall, for a date." "That's really romantic," she stated with the smile only getting bigger. "I'm glad your the one that's datin Applejack, despite your differences in things." Rarity rubbed the top of Applebloom's head as she replied to what she said. "Thank you Applebloom." Since she started dating AJ, Applebloom had become like a second younger sister to Rarity, and it did nothing but make Rarity enjoy being around the Apple family even more. Even though Rarity wasn't fond of the farm life, she did enjoy the visits, especially when they invited her to one of their home cooked dinners. Rarity and Applebloom chatted for awhile, until AJ came down to join them, sporting her nicest clothes. While they weren't as fancy as Rarity's, the fashion girl still enjoyed them whenever the farm girl wore them. "Shall we be off, m'lady," Applejack said, tipping her cowboy hat with a grin and extending her hand. "Oh Applejack, you make me blush," Rarity responded, putting a hand to her mouth, giggling as she excepted AJ's hand with her other one. The two walked out of the house and into AJ's car, which the cowgirl preceded to drive towards their destination. In a different part of town, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy were walking in the park. Fluttershy was feeding the ducks while Dash watched. The rainbow girl couldn't help but smile at how cute Fluttershy was, kindly giving pieces of bread to the different ducks. "Now Mr. Quackers, don't take to much, save some for the others," Fluttershy spoke to the duck in her calm, quiet voice. She placed the remaining bread pieces on the ground, and then walked back over to Dash, a cute smile showing on her face. "You can't pass up helping any animal, can you?" Rainbow asked, a kind smirk on her face. Fluttershy shook her head as she interlocked arms with Dash. "Ever animal deserves some kindness, and they usually return the same kindness to you later." "I'll take your word on that," Rainbow replied, holding Fluttershy's arm tight. The two of them slowly walked through the park, not speaking to each other to much, but they didn't need words to have a good time, just each others company. "I'm glad you was available this weekend to spend time with me," Fluttershy spoke up, dissolving the silence. "Fluttershy, nothing is more important to me than being with you and seeing you happy," Rainbow stated with her kindest smile, making Flutters blush. Rainbow kissed the top of her head, making the shy girl blush even more. The two walked off into sunset, happiness enveloping ever step they took. The weekend had come to a end, and Monday had begun. Twi stood in front of the mirror, wondering what she should wear. Technically speaking, Midnight was wondering what to wear. The demon didn't care to much for Twi's usual outfit, so she walked over to the closet, peering over the assortment of clothes within. Her eyes landed on some clothes that look like they'd been never worn, and a slightly evil smirk formed on her face. She decided on a pair of black jeans, which matched her dark purple shirt with a sparkling star in the center on the front. She also pulled down a black zip up jacket, putting it on to complete the look. She kept the glasses and ponytail, not wanting to change her look to much. She walked out her room and met with Twilight in the living room. Twilight spun around when she heard the girl enter the room. "Hey Twi, ready to-" she stopped when she looked over Twi's new outfit. "Your trying a new look?" Midnight looked down at herself before looking back at Twilight. "Yeah, I thought I would try something new, do you like it?" Twilight looked her over some more before answering her question. "It's, different...but not bad." Midnight gave Twilight a smile, before walking up and giving her a kiss. Twilight happily returned her kiss, putting her arms around the girl. The two kissed for a couple minutes, before Twilight pulled away. "We should probably leave, don't want to be late, you need to be at school." Midnight gave a chuckle, rubbing Twilight's back in a slow manner. " Alright, let's go." The two girls parted and walked out of the house, Midnight sporting a confident grin as she walked behind Twilight. When they arrived at the school, they met their friends out by the statue, their usual meeting place before school. Sunset noticed them walking up, and stood up from her spot to welcome them. "Hey Twilight, hey Twi, how are you-" she stopped when she saw Midnight come into full view. The other girls noticed as well, looking Midnight over, odd looks covering their faces. "What's with the new look Twi?" Dash asked. Midnight laughed at her question, giving a grin as she answered. "I decided to, change a few things about myself." Rarity walked around her, checking her over from top to bottom. "I will say it's...different, not necessarily bad, just very different for you." "What are you doing, expressing your dark side?" Pinkie joked with her. The group gave a short laugh while they all walked into the building, Midnight chuckling within herself as they walked. "More than you know," she said under her breath. The day went on as a usual school day, nothing very exciting happened, until last period. The school was having a dodge ball competition, and everyone had to participate. The two teams were selected, Rainbow Dash and Applejack being the teams captains. The two teams choose their sides, and the battle commenced. Dash and AJ immediately started going after each other, while the rest of the girls just did their best dodging and throwing. Like most athletic games, Fluttershy was quick to be out, along with Rarity and Octavia. The three girls sat on the bleachers and watched the mayhem. "I'm not surprised you three are out," a voice stated from beside the bleachers. The three girls turned towards the familiar voice, only to see the Dazzlings leaning against the bleachers. "Why are you three here?" Rarity asked as they took their seats. Adagio gave her hair a flip as she sat down, and then looked over at them to answer. "Sonata got the idea to have all of us go to the opening of that new taco restaurant in the mall, and we got tired of waiting at the house, so we came here to watch whatever it is that you do at this time." She looked back at the game just in time to see three more people get out. "Looks like Aria's type of game." "Like I would want to play this," Aria stated, propping her arm up to rest her head. Sonata moved from her spot to sit next to Octavia, giving the cellist a warm smile. "So, how's your relationship with Vinyl going?" Octavia gave a small blush as she looked out at the DJ in the field, currently dodging some balls, dancing while doing it. "It's, progressing. Our life hasn't changed to much, but we enjoy each others company more now." "Great to here!" Sonata said with enthusiasm, making Octavia smile. Out in the field, Sunset and Midnight were standing closer to the edge, with Sunset chucking dodgeballs left and right. She watched a ball go sailing towards Midnight, and she shouted to warn her. "Twi, look out!" Midnight quickly spun and caught the ball, a confident smirk appearing on her face before chucking it back towards the enemy team, nailing someone in the stomach. Sunset walked over to her, a bit shocked at what she witnessed. "Wow Twi, you got really good reflects." "Well, you know...learned how to back at Crystal Prep when we played this game, since I was usually a target for people to laugh at when I got out..." she responded, rubbing her arm in a shy manner. Sunset gave the girl a warming smile, hoping to cheer her up. Midnight gave her one back, before the two got back into the game. As the game went on, lots of people got out. When they joined the bleachers, some of them sent glares in the Dazzling's direction, but none of the three really cared to pay attention to it. One of the guys in the game noticed them, and got a idea. He leaned back and threw the ball as hard as he could, right in Sonata's direction. Aria saw it coming, and moved quickly to catch it. She caught it just before it hit Sonata, her hand hovering in front of the girls face. Aria stepped off the bleachers and threw the ball directly back at the guy. The ball went sailing back into him, nailing him in the stomach, sending him back and on to the ground. He clutched his stomach as he rolled around from the pain. Aria returned to her seat, proud of her accomplishment. "Thanks Ari," Sonata said to her, nuzzling her head against the Aria's shoulder. Aria gently pushed her off, but gave her smile. "Don't mention it." The game soon came to a end, with Rainbow Dash's team the victors. She proudly walked off the field and joined the rest of her friends, the most ego driven smirk plastered on her face. "Did you guys see how awesome I was out there?" Rarity gave a sigh before answering. "Yes Rainbow Dash, you did good, now just drop it before it goes to much to your head." AJ walked up behind Rainbow and gave her a slap on the back, congratulating her on the win. When the celebrating was over, the group learned of Sonata's plan, and decided it was a cool idea. They got their things together and drove to their homes, just to meet at the mall later on. The group of girls made their way to the taco restaurant, with Aria having to calm down Sonata from her excitement. When they got their food, they all sat at a table, munching away at the delicious food. "Look who it is girls, the Rainbooms are here too," a voice spoke from the side of the table. The girls looked back, or just looked up, to see the Shadowbolts standing next to their table. The voice belonged to Sour Sweet, the girl at the head of the group. "Oh hi girls, how have you been?" Rarity spoke up, trying to be friendly. "Oh we've been doing great, Crystal Prep has been nothing but splendid since Cinch left," Sunny Flare responded, checking her nails as she answered. "That's good to hear," Rarity stated to them. "Care to join us?" As the Shadowbolts thought about it, Rainbow whispered to Rarity. "What are you doing?" "I'm trying to be nice, we don't need any enemies from other schools. Besides, there not that bad," Rarity whispered back. "Alright, we'll join," Sour Sweet said with a smile, that quickly changed to a frown. "Not like we have anything better to do." Before they sat down, they looked over the current inhabitants. They recognized everyone present, until their eyes fell on the Dazzlings. "Who are you?" "I am Adagio Dazzle, leader of the Dazzlings," Adagio stated, standing up. "Pleasure to meet you," Sour Sweet said, shaking her hand. "Now who are they?" she asked, regaining her frown as she pointed to the other two sirens. "I'm Sonata, and this is Aria," Sonata happily answered, shacking the girls hand as well. "Aren't you the three sirens who took over CHS?" Lemon Zest asked, taking off her headphones. Adagio gave small chuckle before answering. "Well now, I see our popularity has reached other schools," she said, looking back at the other two, who were also smirking. "You took over a school, how could we not here about it," Sugarcoat stated in her usual voice that sported no emotion. The Shadowbolts took their spots, each girl opening her bags of food and beginning to eat. The Rainbooms, as well as the Dazzlings and the musicians, didn't really know what to say to them. Last they saw them was during the end of the Friendship games, and the whole Midnight Sparkle ordeal. "So Twilight, how's being in the losers school?" Indigo Zap asked, taking a bite out of her taco. "It's better than being at Crystal Prep," Midnight retorted. She remembered the girls, the ones who made it possible for her to exist. Despite that fact, she didn't really care for them, since they stopped helping her after she came to life. "If you say so," Indigo responded, giving a mocking smirk. "I take it you three no longer want to take over the world?" Sunny Flare asked, looking at Adagio. "No, we stopped walking that path a while ago, thanks to this girl," she said, putting her arm around Sunset. Sunset gave Adagio a smile before giving kissing her cheek, earning a confused look from the Shadowbolts. "Are you two, a thing?" Lemon Zest asked, turning her head. "Yeah, we have been for a while," Sunset replied, setting her hand on Adagio's. "Good for you two," Sour Sweet commented, "since both of you tried taking over CHS." "Are you the only couple?" Sunny Flare asked. The Rainbooms started laughing, making the Shadowbolts even more confused. "Actually, there's a lot more that just them," Rarity stated, earning a look from the Crystal Prep girls. She explained the different couples, making the Shadowbolts both shocked and curious. "So, let me get this straight," Indigo Zap said, placing her hand on the table. "We're surrounded by lesbians." "I'm not a lesbian," Pinkie spoke up, raising her hand in the air. "Except for you," Indigo said, rolling her eyes. "Technically the majority of us are bi, but I guess yes," Applejack stated. "Are any of you in a relationship?" The Shadowbolts shook their heads no, but Aria noticed one of them looking off to the side, acting like they were trying to hide something. "The weirdest one out of all them is definitely you two," Sour Sweet said, pointing to the two Twilights. "Seriously, who dates themselves." "Yeah Twilight, I never you knew you was into girls," Sunny Flare commented. "I'm full of surprises," Midnight responded. "How original," Adagio stated, crossing her arms and rolling her eyes. "Your relationship is definitely odd. Suits you perfectly," Sour sweet commented. "Ok, what's your deal?" Sonata asked Sour Sweet, which made the girl turn towards her, wondering what she meant. "You keep going from nice to being sour, a smile turning to a frown." "She has a split personality disorder," Sugarcoat stated. "Oh...does that mean your crazy?" Sonata asked, twirling her finger on the side of her head. "No, no, I'm not crazy," Sour Sweet replied, raising her hands up in defense. "Not like you." "Yeah, I'm pretty crazy," Sonata said with a giggle, earning a glare from Sour Sweet. All the girls continued their conversation until it got time for them to depart. The Shadowbolts said their goodbyes before walking away, and when they were out of hearing range, Sunny Flare spoke up. "So, why are we helping Trixie deal with them?" she asked Sour Sweet. "Because, we want the money she's offering us," Sour Sweet replied. "And to watch their smiling faces turn to looks of fear as they crumble before us." "But, they don't seem that bad," Lemon Zest commented. "And did anyone think Twilight was acting, different." "Her attitude was bound to change when she left our school and joined them," Sugarcoat responded to her headphone caring friend. "I still can't believe the monsters we were told about are apart of their group," Indigo Zap stated. "Did anyone else find them to be slightly unsettling, especial that one with all the hair." The other girls nodded, but they pushed that feeling aside. "Doesn't matter how we feel about them, we have a job to do," Sour Sweet told all of them. "And we will see them bow before us as we take of them down." "Your split personality is getting worse Sour Sweet, it's starting to make us worried about you," Lemon Zest said to her, which the others nodded to. "Guys, I'm fine, no need to worry about me," she said with a comforting smile, before it turned to a sinister grin. "Nothing to worry about at all." The other girls looked around at each other with worried glances, but just decided to not say anything else as they walked out of the mall. > Creating plans > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Twilight and Midnight were in the living room, with Twilight holding Midnight in her arms as they both were laying on the couch. The two of them were enjoying their morning together, relishing the moment since they both new Twilight needed to leave. Midnight crawled her way up so she would be directly above Twilight before giving her a loving kiss. Twilight pulled her arms up and around Midnight's neck, stroking her ponytail in the process. The two of them made out for several minutes before Twilight pulled away. "We should probably head to the portal...I do need to return to Equestria," she stated, a look of sadness covering her face. "Alright...just promise that you'll come back to visit," Midnight asked of her. Twilight brought her hand up to her face and slowly caressed her cheek. "I will come back to see you Twi, I love you." Midnight gave a warm smile down to her, before leaning down and kissing her gently. The two girls moved off of the couch and headed towards the door. Midnight drove Twilight over to CHS, silence enveloping the ride. Once at the school, the two got out of the vehicle and joined hands. They slowly walked over to the statue, and found their friends waiting there to say their own goodbyes. "Hey everyone," Twilight said to all of them, slowly waving while doing so. "Hey Twilight," Sunset responded, a kind smile on her face. She walked up and hugged Twilight, which made the princess let go of Midnight's hand and bring her arms around the sunny girl. "It's a shame to see you go back, but Equestria needs their newest princess." "Yeah, and don't worry, I'll be back," she said as she parted from Sunset, giving her own kind smile. Pinkie rushed up and hugged Twilight tight. "I'm going to miss you!!" she said to her, some dramatic tears falling from her eyes. "I'll miss you too Pinkie," Twilight responded as Pinkie let her go. Each of the Rainbooms gave their own goodbyes and hugs, some giving some tears and some not. After each of them were finished, Twilight turned to the Dazzlings, who were currently standing behind the others. Twilight walked up to Adagio and gave her a smile, which the poofy haired girl returned. "Don't cause any trouble while I'm gone," Twilight said in a joking manner. "Define trouble, princess," Adagio joked back. The two gave a short giggle before embracing each other. After they parted, Sonata walked up and gave her own hug. "When you get back, can you visit the South Luna Ocean please, I wanna hear about how it's doing when you return." "Alright Sonata, I'll check it out," the princess replied. When the two parted, Adagio and Sonata looked over at Aria, who was currently standing off to the side with her arms crossed. Adagio motioned with her eyes for her to come over, which Aria replied by rolling her own eyes before walking up. When she gave Twilight a hug, Twilight whispered something in her ear. "When I get back, I want to hear if there's anymore couples." Aria gave a small smile before replying in a whisper, "Sure." The two parted, and Twilight walked over to the Octavia and Vinyl, who were also present to see her depart. Octavia met with her first, giving her a warm smile. The two hugged each other, and as they hugged, Vinyl came up from behind and gave her a hug. Twilight gave a short chuckle as she was embraced from both sides by the musicians. When they parted, the princess walked over to the portal, where Midnight was standing in front of it. "I guess this is goodbye..." Midnight said to her, before hanging her head. Twilight lifted her hand and brought her face back up to hers. "For now, but I will be back, I promise." The two looked deeply into each others eyes before engaging in a deep kiss. The others awkwardly shifted glances as they kissed, as they were still not used to seeing two people who were the same kiss each other. When they parted, Twilight caressed her face one last time, before giving a final wave and goodbye, and walking into the portal. With a flash of light she was gone, leaving the others with one Twilight. Applejack walked up to Midnight and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Well...on the bright side, we don't have to call ya Twi anymore." Midnight gave her an appreciated smile as she turned to her. "Actually, keep calling me that, I like it...and because I've kinda gotten used to it." Applejack gave her nod before walking back to Rarity. The group of people made their ways over to their vehicles, each returning to their homes. Once Midnight was home, she walked down to the basement and flipped on the light. She walked over to the working table and grabbed some supplies. "With Twilight gone, I can finally begin my plan," she stated with a evil grin. She set herself to work, gathering pieces together to build her device. Over at Crystal Prep, the Shadowbolts had gathered themselves into one of the many study rooms. With the school day having already been over, very few students remained at the school, but they had permission from Principal Cadence to stay over, saying they wanted time to study with each other. The group gathered around one of the tables, as Sour Sweet laid down some paper and grabbed a pen. "Alright, so how should we go about helping our little magician?" she asked the other girls. The others looked from one to the other, trying to form ideas in their heads. After a few minutes of silence, Sunny Flare spoke up. "What exactly does she even want to do to them?" Sour Sweet was about to answer, but stopped herself when she realized Trixie never mentioned that. She sat down in her chair and rubbed her chin. "Trixie will tell you what Trixie wishes to do," the magician stated, walking into the room, making each of the girls very confused. "Trixie, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at CHS?" Lemon Zest asked, bringing her headphones down from her ears. "Trixie is here to see if you five are doing a good job at coming up with a plan. Apparently you need Trixie's help," she said as she took her spot, standing next to Sour Sweet. "If you told us what you wanted to do, we wouldn't just be sitting here!" Sour Sweet yelled at her, making Trixie step back slightly. The magician regained her posture before revealing her plan. "Trixie wishes to humiliate them, bring them down to the level they dropped Trixie to. To see them admit Trixie is best around." "Your so full of yourself," Sugarcoat remarked, making the other Shadowbolts giggle. "Trixie recognizes that Trixie is the best, the greatest and most powerful." "If your the greatest and most powerful, why ask us for help?" Sunny Flare asked, earning another giggle from the girls, making Trixie frustrated. "Trixie needs you five to back her up, to make sure nothing goes wrong." "And how do you want to humiliate them exactly?" Indigo asked. "Just make them be in a way where they have to submit to Trixie, especially Sunset and that bitch Adagio," Trixie said to them, hate mixed in her words. "Whatever, and we'll definitely get out money when this is over right?" Sour Sweet asked, which made all of the Shadowbolts turn to Trixie. "Yes, yes, you'll have your money. Just be good little Shadowbolts and do what Trixie asks," she stated, patting Sour Sweet on the head. "Of course we'll do what you want," Sour Sweet said with a smile, before it turned to an angry glare as she grabbed Trixie by her shirt and pulled her forward. "Now listen here you little bitch, we are the Shadowbolts, and we answer to no one! Now leave before I really get angry!" Once let go, Trixie hurried out of the room and soon out of the building. Sour Sweet gave a huff and stormed out of the room, leaving the other girls trying to decide on whether or not to follow her. Soon Sunny Flare and Lemon Zest decided to go get some drinks, while Indigo and Sugarcoat stayed behind to come up with a plan. Indigo paced the room while Sugarcoat sat at the table. Indigo walked back and forth several times before finally getting something. "I've got it! Let's make them loose in some more competitions!" she stated with all her enthusiasm. She looked over at Sugarcoat, who just looked up at her with her usual face that showed no emotion. "No?" "Your plan lacks logic," Sugarcoat stated to her before looking back down at her paper. "Well, what about making them feel stupid in front of everyone at CHS?" Indigo asked. "Only Trixie wants to humiliate them, making them fail in front of everyone would be illogical," Sugarcoat replied to her. Indigo gave a frustrated grunt as she jumped on to the table and put her face right in front of Sugarcoat's. "Oh like you can think of something better Ms. Robot!" Sugarcoat put her finger on Indigo's forehead and slowly pushed her face away. "We don't need to humiliate them, that's Trixie's job. We just need to put them in the place where it should happen. Whatever happens once they're there isn't our problem if she's already paid us." Indigo sat up on the table and smirked at Sugarcoat. "So what your saying is, just deliver them to the spot, then just let whatever happens happen?" she asked, which Sugarcoat nodded to. "Great idea Sugarcoat, this is why your my favorite Shadowbolt," she stated as she jumped off the table and put a arm around the emotionless girl. "I find your reasoning...logical," Sugarcoat said to her, making Indigo giggle. Lemon and Sunny were walking down the hallways, drinks in hand. Lemon had gotten one for Sour Sweet, hoping it would calm her down. "I'm going to go find Sour," she said to Sunny. "Ok, just...don't do anything to further upset her," Sunny said to her, which Lemon nodded to. Lemon turned down the hallway and headed towards the archery range, since it was Sour's favorite spot in the school. When she walked inside the indoor range, she found Sour Sweet loading her bow. She released the arrow, letting it glide through the air and hit the target on the outer edge. Sour Sweet gave a frustrated growl as she went to load another arrow. "Sour!" Lemon shouted, getting her attention. When she put her bow and arrow down, Lemon walked up to her. "I brought you a drink." Sour Sweet calmly grabbed the drink and took a sip. Once finished, she gave a satisfied sigh and turned to Lemon Zest. "Thanks Lemon." "Your welcome," she replied with a smile. The two sat down on one of the benches facing the range. As Sour took another sip, Lemon shifted in her seat before speaking to her. "Sour, I'm really starting to worry about you." "Why?" Sour Sweet asked, taking another sip of her drink. "Your bipolar condition is getting worse. You used to just go from being nice to just being mean, but now, your starting to get more physical about it...more angry...and more violent." Sour Sweet put her drink down and hung her head, which prompted Lemon to ask a question. "Sour, have you tried getting help about it?" Sour Sweet looked back up at Lemon, before turning back to look at the ground. "...No..." Lemon put her arm around her and rubbed her shoulder. "You really should...I don't want it to get any worse." Sour Sweet's face turned angry as she shoved off Lemon's arm and turned to her. "Why do you care! You never cared about it before! No, you was to busy rocking out to notice you music freak!" Sour yelled at her, making Lemon slid away and bring up her arms just in case she needed to shield herself. Sour calmed down and saw the hurt in Lemon's eyes, and it made her own eyes start to tear up. "Lemon...I'm so sorry...I didn't mean too..." Lemon slid back to her and brought her into a hug, letting the few tears in Sour's eyes slide out and land onto her shoulder. Lemon brought her arm up and rubbed her back, trying to calm her. "It's alright Sour, I know you didn't mean it...but you need to get help about it." She backed out of the hug and rubbed some of the tears from Sour's face. "Please." Sour Sweet wiped some of the tears as well, and smiled at Lemon. "I'll try to. Thanks Lemon, I'm glad to know your there for me." "I always will be, your my best friend Sour, you always have been," she said to her, bringing her into another hug. After they parted, Lemon watched Sour Sweet shoot some more arrows, complementing her on each successful shot. After school the next day, Sunset drug herself into the house, dropping her book bag by the door and walking into the living room. She plumped down next to Aria on the couch, who was currently texting on her phone. She looked over at the sunny girl who was resting her head on her hand. "Sucky day?" Aria asked, which Sunset nodded to. "Today was so boring, the teachers did nothing but give lectures, lectures about nothing we need to know," Sunset said to her, rubbing her forehead. "You haven't missed anything her either. Sonata's in her room playing some new game she got, and Adagios...actually I have no idea where Adagio is," Aria stated to her, making Sunset turn to her with a confused look. "How do you not know where she is?" "Sometimes she just disappears...or maybe she's just in the basement," Aria said, bringing her hand up to her chin. "You guys have a basement, and you never told me about it?" Sunset asked her. "Oh, we didn't, whoops. I'll show you where it is," Aria said, standing up and walking away. Sunset got up and followed her into the kitchen. Once inside, Aria pulled up one of the floor panels, revealing a trap door. Sunset stared at it in awe, while Aria opened it, and motioned for Sunset to walk down the stairs. Sunset walked over and preceded down the steps, taking in each sight as she descended down, with Aria right behind her. Once at the bottom of the steps, Sunset looked around. The room she was in relatively empty, only a few chairs and some tables. When she walked over to one of the chairs, she noticed the chair was stained with dark red marks, as well as the floor around it. Sunset gulped as she thought about what the substance was. She looked over at one of the tables and saw several knives and saws laid out across it. Her breathing quickened when she put the two circumstances together. She spun around when she heard someone approaching from around the corner, only to see Adagio walking towards them with Scarlett around her shoulders. "Oh, hey Sunset," she said with a smile when she noticed the two in the room. "Hey Adagio...you never told me you had a basement," Sunset said to her. "We didn't?" Adagio asked, looking over at Aria who was shrugging. "No, you didn't." "Well, sorry about that dear, but now you know." "Adagio...what are you doing down her...and what have you been doing down here?" "Oh I've just been putting away some of the junk we've stored down here. I've got most of the furniture away, as well as the majority of the other useless stuff that came with the house. Although I can't find a place to put these knives and saws." Sunset glanced over at the stained chair and wanted to quench her suspicion. "What happened to this chair?" Adagio looked over at it and rolled her eyes. "Sonata spilled red paint on it while she was moving paint cans. We haven't moved it since then, so I guess the paint just dried on it and around it." Sunset sighed a breath of relief as she looked around the corner to see several pieces of old furniture as well as other stuff stashed away in the back. She walked up and gave Adagio a hug, making the siren give Aria another confused look, which Aria shrugged too. "Adagio, lets go get some coffee at Sugarcube Corner," Sunset said to the siren she was currently holding tightly. "I need something after today." "Um, sure. Are you ok Sunset?" Adagio asked, which made Sunset look up at her. "I'm fine, now that I'm with you." "You two are weird," Aria stated. Adagio rolled her eyes and walked with Sunset. As she passed Aria, she had Scarlett slither off her shoulders and on to Aria's. "Can you be dear and put her in her cage, thanks," Adagio said to her as she and Sunset walked away. Aria stood there and crossed her arms. Scarlett moved her head and looked up at Aria, which made the siren look down at her. "What?" Aria asked, making Scarlett just flick out her tongue and move her head around. > Making friends > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rarity slowly walked her way though the mall, holding Applejack's hand as they passed several stores and people. As Rarity admired the different selections of stores, Applejack just wondered to herself why anyone would need so many clothing stores when just a few would get the job done. They eventually made their way to the fountain, where they met with Aria and Sonata. When Sonata saw them approaching, she jumped off her seat and quickly dashed over to them with Aria walking slowly behind. "Hey guys!" Sonata exclaimed to them with her signature adorable smile. "Hello darling," Rarity responded with a smile. She looked over at Aria, who just nodded to her, then looked around for the others. "Where's Adagio and Sunset?" "They'll be here soon...maybe," Sonata replied to her, shrugging her shoulders. "Well, we can wait for them, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy are going to be late as well," Rarity told her, checking her nails on her free hand. "What are they doing?" the blue siren asked. "Rainbow needed help on something for school, so Fluttershy said she would help her, although they should've been done by now," Applejack responded. "Maybe they're having some fun together," Aria said, a smirk forming on her face. Rarity and AJ blushed slightly, thinking about the possibility of that. "I doubt that. Rainbow maybe, but not Fluttershy," Applejack said to her. "Such a shame," Aria replied. Another smirk appeared on her face as she thought up a question for the couple. "What about you two?" "W-What?" Rarity asked, fidgeting with her purse on her side. "Have you two spent any nights together, getting to know what's under each others clothes?" The two girls blushed deeply as Rarity looked away and AJ rubbed the back of her head. Applejack cleared her throat in a stressed manner before responding. "Well...um...you see..." "I'll take that as a yes," Aria said to them, which they both nodded to, continuing to blush. Sonata gave a short giggle at how embarrassed they were. "Don't be embarrassed, I'm sure we've all done it by now." "Could we move on to another topic?" Rarity asked, pulling the top of her shirt. "But I was about asked where you did it," Sonata said disappointed, making the deep blush return to the girls faces. "Sonata, you took it to far," Aria said condescendingly, making Sonata turn to her. "I did?" she asked confused, making Aria face palm. Rarity was about to bring up a new topic when she felt her phone go off in her purse. She pulled it out and looked to see that Midnight had texted her. "Girls, Twi wants us to meet her by the donut shop, and we shouldn't keep her waiting." The others agreed, and they started to walk in the direction of the shop. Sonata looked down and saw the couple in front of her holding hands, and it gave her a idea. She calmly slipped her hand into Aria's, intertwining their fingers together. Aria was taken by surprise by this, and looked down at Sonata. The blue girl looked at her with a loving smile, which Aria returned. The purple siren gently squeezed Sonata's hand, making Sonata give a short giggle. Midnight stood by the donut shop, holding a glazed donut in her hand. She took another bite out of it and gave a joyful laugh after she swallowed the bite. 'Oh how I've waited to taste one of these. The smooth texture, the soft body, the delicious taste, this is almost as amazing as having my magic back!' she said in her head. She walked back to the stand and bought four more, after she finished the first one. She walked away from the stand and began to eat one of them, as she noticed the others walking up to meet her. She waved her hand as they approached, using the other hand to nibble on one of the desserts. "Hello darling," Rarity greeted her. "Hi Rarity, have you tried one of these donuts?" Midnight asked, taking another bite. "Yes, I have...are you sure you should be eating all that sugar?" Rarity asked, pointing to the three and a half donuts left in her hand. "It's fine Rarity, there just so delicious!" she exclaimed with all her excitement. The others looked at each other and just shrugged it off, and preceded to walk away from the stand, with Midnight nibbling away at her treats in the back. As they walked off into the mall, Aria got a text from Adagio saying that she and Sunset were near the entrance of the mall. After everyone else heard the news, they shifted their way to the destination. They found the two girls sitting on a bench, making out. Rarity cleared her throat as they approached, making them stop. Sunset blushed slightly, while Adagio looked rather annoyed at being interrupted. "Hello darlings, sorry to intrude," Rarity greeted them. "Hey guys..." Sunset said to them, getting off the bench. "Couldn't keep it at home Adagio," Aria said tauntingly. Adagio merely flipped her off as she stood next to Sunset. As Aria continued to taunt to Adagio, Rarity felt her phone go off again. She pulled it out to see who texted her as Sunset and Sonata held their girlfriends back from starting a fight. Rainbow had texted her that she and Fluttershy just arrived outside the mall. She put her phone away and turned back to the group, just in time to see Sunset, Applejack, and Sonata physically trying to hold back Adagio from beating Aria, who was regretting going so far in her taunting, while Midnight stood on the side and munched on her last donut. Rarity rolled her eyes and stepped in between the girls and explained that they need to meet up with the last two girls. Adagio calmed down, and the girls let go. The group began to walk again, but not before Adagio gave one last threat to Aria. "About time," Rainbow said to the approaching group when they got to them. "Says the one that was late," AJ remarked to her. "It's my fault, sorry," Fluttershy said to them, shifting her eyes away from the girls. "It's alright darling. Now that everyone is finally here, we can begin to shop for the summer!" Rarity exclaimed to them all. "Wait, where's Pinkie Pie?" Applejack asked, making the rest realize she wasn't with them. A burst of confetti appeared to their right, and Pinkie rushed up to them. "Here I am!" she said to them, throwing more confetti in the air. "Where were you?" Applejack asked. "The party store silly, you think I wouldn't go there as soon as I came," she responded with an enthusiastic smile. "Alright...well now that all of us are officially here, we can now start to shop," Rarity explained to them again. "Mind if we join you?" a voice said from behind all of them. They turned around to see the Shadowbolts, with the voice belonging to Lemon Zest. "You wish to do what darling?" Rarity asked. Sour Sweet moved to the front of the group to explain. "We want to join you." "Why?" Rainbow asked, crossing her arms. Sour Sweet's sour side was about to answer, but she fought it back and regained her smile. "After our little dinner session last time we met, we decided that we want to try spending more time with you guys." "Why," Applejack asked, not really buying it, and neither was Rainbow. The two stood next to each other with crossed arms. While they did let them eat with them that one time, neither one of them trusted the Shadowbolts. Sunny Flare saw that Sour Sweet was about to give a sour answer, so she stepped up to answer. "Because despite being from rivaling schools, and having a not so great past, we actually enjoyed being around you guys last time, so we want to try again." The Rainbooms and Dazzlings looked at each other, and after a few moments of thinking, Rarity responded to them. "I think that sounds like a splendid idea." "Perfect!" Sour Sweet replied with her smile. Rarity motioned for them to join with them, and as they walked up, she started to explain her plan. "Alright, we have all day, so we don't need to rush around, but let's have everyone meet back here for dinner. Does that sound good for everyone?" The others nodded, making Rarity smile. Once she was finished talking, the group split in two. The first group consisted of Rarity, AJ, Rainbow, Fluttershy, Pinkie, Indigo, Sugarcoat, and Sunny Flare. The second group was Adagio, Sunset, Midnight, Aria, Sonata, Sour Sweet, and Lemon Zest. The first group preceded into the summer clothing store that dealt more on the fancy side of things, which didn't make Rainbow Dash nor Indigo Zap very thrilled. The two of them stood towards the entrance, watching the others shop around. Rainbow was surprised AJ was with them, but then she noticed her helping Rarity out, looking very confused. She let out a laugh, which made Indigo look at her confused. Rainbow pointed at AJ, and Indigo shared her laugh. "So Indigo, how's the sport teams at Crystal Prep doing?" Rainbow asked. "Oh there doing great, better than anything CHS has," she replied with a confident grin. "Oh really, what makes you think that?" "We got a new gym coach, some dude named Sombra. The guy acts like he's training an army, but damn does it get results." "Huh, sounds interesting. What's he like?" Indigo shook a little as she thought about him. "Dude freaks me out honestly, there's just something about him that feels off." "I wish CHS would get a better gym coach, the one we have now sucks." "Explains a lot," Indigo said to her mockingly. Rainbow got a little ticked at that, but soon smirked as she thought up her retort. "At least we don't have a creepy drill sergeant as a coach." Indigo gave a small laugh at that. "Alright Dash, I'll give you that one." The two continued talking about gym and sports, but stopped when Sugarcoat joined them. "Hey Sugarcoat, find anything?" Indigo asked. Sugarcoat pushed up her glasses before answering. "The contents of this store do not match what I desire, so the answer to your question would be a no." Indigo just smiled at her and patted her on the shoulder. "Whatever you say Sugarcoat, maybe Rarity can help you find what you desire." "Perhaps, I'll check with her after we disembark from this establishment," she said before turning back and joining the others. Indigo smiled in her direction, while Dash stood tilting her head with a confused face. "So ah...is she always like that?" Rainbow asked. "Yeah," Indigo replied, turning back to her. "How do you deal with that all the time?" "I could ask you the same thing about Fluttershy?" Indigo asked, crossing her arms. "Yeah, but we're dating, and last I checked, you two aren't...or are you?" Indigo shook her hands in a defensive fashion. "No, no, we're not dating, we just hang out a lot." "...Alright, whatever you say Zap," Rainbow said, turning back to the shopping girls, who were now approaching them. On the other side of the mall, the second group was at one of the swim suit stores. Adagio was browsing the different ensembles, until she noticed a particular one. She grabbed it and carried it over to Sunset. "Sunny, how do you think this would look?" she asked, holding the bikini up to her. Sunset looked it over and scratched her head. "Dagi, don't you think it's a little to...skimpy for the beach." "Who said it was for the beach," Adagio replied with a seductive smirk, making Sunset blush. Sour Sweet was browsing different sets of clothes, when Midnight walked up to her. "So Sour, how's your bipolar nature going?" Sour Sweet looked at her from the corner of her eye and sighed. "Fine Twilight." "Is it though, you've always had trouble with it." "Why do you care?" Sour asked, anger on the end of her words. "I was just wondering if I need to avoid you like everyone else in your school does," Midnight said to her. Sour Sweet felt some hurt in her heart after hearing that. When she turned to respond to her, Midnight wasn't there. Sour Sweet looked around, and finally saw her standing at the doorway, nibbling on another donut. Sour was starting to walk towards her, when Lemon appeared next to her. "Hey Sour, which do you think is better, the green one or the pink one?" she asked, holding up two different bikinis. Sour calmed herself down and turned to her best friend. She looked the two of them over carefully, and finally decided. "I like the green one." But her frown returned and ruined the moment. "Matches your seaweed hair." Lemon couldn't help but be slightly hurt by that, and Sour noticed it once she came back to being sweet again. "Lemon, I didn't mean it! I think your hairs great!" she said, trying to repair what she said. "I know Sour, thanks for your help," she said with a smile before walking back towards Sonata. Sour looked down at the ground ashamed, and walked towards the entrance, where she stood alone. Back to the first group, Sunny Flare was looking at some diving gear, when Pinkie appeared next to her and examined the gear. "Thinking about going scuba diving?" Pinkie asked her. "Well, maybe, I might try it this summer, always wanted to try," Sunny responded to her. "It's a lot of fun! I went one year with my sister Maud, and we saw all kinds of fish, and it was amazing! Well except for that run in with the shark, but the chances of doing that is really slim, so don't worry about that, especially if you have a sister like Maud who can fight off a shark, I mean you might have someone like that but I don't know. But you definitely need to try this stuff out!" Sunny Flare just stood there and tried to take everything in she just heard in that short amount of time. "Ok...I'll remember that..." Pinkie just smiled to her and started recommending what type of gear was best. As the day went on, the girls stopped for dinner, and while at dinner, Rarity got another idea. "Adagio darling, I understand that your having a movie night this Friday?" Adagio looked up from her food and swallowed her bite. "Yeah, we haven't had one in a while...why?" Rarity put her fork for her salad down and looked over at the siren leader. "What if we invite our new friends to it?" Adagio looked around at the Shadowbolts, who were just as surprised as the rest of them were at the idea. "Um...I guess they can if they want." The Shadowbolts looked around at each other, before looking at Sour Sweet for the final decision. Sour looked around at everyone before issuing her answer. "Sure, why not." Rarity and Sunset gave a smile, since Sunset was also on board with the idea, while everyone else just went along with it. As the week progressed, it soon became Friday, and the Shadowbolts had arrived at the Dazzling's house. Before they got out of the car, Indigo asked a question. "Why are we doing this again Sour?" Sour turned around to face Indigo in the back. "Because, if we're going to get them to Trixie, they need to trust us, and with friendship comes trust, so if we just be nice and friendly to them, they'll go much easier." Indigo crossed her arms and muttered under her breath. "Your one to talk about being nice." It was just loud enough for everyone to hear it, including Sour Sweet, who turned back to her in a not so happy mood. "What did you say Indigo?" "Nothing Sour!" she said as she quickly got out of the car. Sour just rolled her eyes and got out with the rest. They all walked up to the door and knocked. Sonata answered the door, and let them in with a smile. The shadow group walked into the house and followed Sonata to the living room, where everyone else was waiting. Rarity was the first to great them, a warm smile on her face as they entered the room. Rarity talked with Sunny Flare, while Lemon stayed with Sonata, and the rest looked for spots to sit. Adagio and Sunset had to supply more seating for them, which came in the form of two more love seats and one beanbag. Indigo and Sugarcoat took one of the love seats, while Sour Sweet sat in the other one. Before Sunny Flare could claim the spot next to her, Lemon took it, happily sitting next to her bestie. Sunny Flare looked down at the beanbag and sighed, before plopping down on it. As everyone got situated, some more conversations started. Indigo began to chat with Rainbow again, talking over sports. Despite what Indigo may have implied in the car, she actually was taking a liking to being friends with the Rainbooms, especially since she finally had someone to talk sports over with that wasn't stuff like archery or roller derby. Lemon Zest had found a friend in Sonata, which wasn't surprising since Lemon liked her quirky nature. Sunny Flare did enjoy Rarity's company, since both of them had a eye for fashion. Sugarcoat was never a social person, always had Indigo to do it for her. Sour Sweet wasn't great at making friends either, but she sort of had a connection with Adagio, since both of them were leaders. Despite what their mission was, the Shadowbolts were becoming actual friends with the others. While all of this was happening, Midnight just sat back and watched. She hadn't expected the Shadowbolts to be apart of this, but she wasn't disappointed they were now becoming friends with them. She wanted to get back at them as well, and if everything went smoothly, they were in a perfect position for it. Sonata put the movie in and returned to her seat next to Aria, resting her head on her shoulder. As the movie went on, Indigo brought her arms up as she yawned and stretched. When her hands fell back down, one of them fell right onto Sugarcoats. She immediately pulled it off, both of them having a small blush from the awkward contact. The movie got rather boring after the second act, so boring that Lemon was having trouble staying awake. Her eyes kept going shut, then flying back open, then shutting, then opening. Eventually they closed for good, and she was out of it. Her head slowly fell to the side, landing on Sour Sweet's shoulder. Sour glanced over at her and noticed that she had fallen asleep. She just shrugged and let it happen. Towards the end of the movie, the action burst back in, and the loud rock music woke Lemon back up. She wondered why the TV looked sideways, then she realized why. She removed her head from Sour's shoulder and kept looking at the TV, not really wanting to make any eye contact after that awkward situation. Once the movie was done, the different parties got ready to leave. The Shadowbolts were the first to want to leave, and with their goodbyes being said, they were out of the door. Sour drove Indigo and Sugarcoat to Indigo's vehicle, since Sugarcoat usual just rode with Indigo everywhere because they lived close to each other. Sunny Flare was next to be dropped off at her car, and then Sour drove towards Lemon's house. Once there, Lemon turned to Sour Sweet. "Thanks for the ride." "Your welcome, anything for my best friend," Sour said with a smile. Lemon was about to get out when Sour stopped her with a question. "Lemon...do people avoid me because of my...condition..." Lemon sat in her seat and looked at her friend, seeing the look of pain in her eyes. Lemon knew the answer was yes, but she didn't want to tell her that. "Sour...it doesn't matter what others think of you..." "Tell me Lemon," she said calmly, but when Lemon started to say something else, her calm nature left. "Tell me!" Lemon sighed before looking to her friend. "...Yes...they do..." Sour Sweet looked down at the steering wheel for a couple minutes silent, before looking back at Lemon Zest. "You won't ever avoid me, will you?" Lemon brought Sour into a hug, giving her a warm embrace. "No, I'll never avoid you Sour. Your my best friend, you have been since we were kids. I stuck with you then, and I'm going to stick with you now." Sour pulled away from the hug and smiled at Lemon. "Thank you Lemon." "Your welcome," she replied with her own smile. Lemon exited the vehicle and walked to her house as Sour drove away. Indigo pulled up to Sugarcoat's house, stopping just in front of the door. "Thank you for the assistance of traveling," Sugarcoat said to her. "Your welcome, I like our car rides," Indigo responded with a smile. Sugarcoat gave one of her rare smiles, and pulled Indigo into a hug. Indigo was at first confused, but it quickly turned back into a smile as she wrapped her arms around her. They hugged each other for a couple minutes, until Sugarcoat pulled away. She said goodbye to Indigo before getting out and walking to her door. Indigo just smiled towards her direction before driving away.
