Chapter I
When the night shimmers
I was nervous. Really nervous. It was my first day at Canterkot Highschool short CHS and I didn’t know what will happen. Maybe I should introduce myself first. My name is Night Star. I am a student and I got nearly all records at my old school. However, I wanted to go to CHS for a year. My parents let my luckily live in an apartment. Should I have any problems I could go to my old friend Luna. She was 14 years older but we never had a problem. We shared a fascination for the night and stars. I am looking forward to see her again. Anyways I was standing before the hoarse statue, which was standing before the entrance. I walked cautiously to the entrance, which seemed to be freshly renovated. As I entered through the twin doors the long corridor with many lockers. I wanted to the next best student, who I saw, where the chemistry room was. I had a timetable but I didn’t know where the rooms were. I asked a girl. This girl was pink haired and had a slightly brighter skin but still pink. “Excuse me, would you be so kind to say me where the chemistry room is?” Instead of an answer she ran away in a random direction. I shrugged. Something told me to not asked about this girl. So, I tried to find the room on my own. As I walked through the corridors of the CHS I get into an uncomfortable situation. A blue skinned girl with silver hair had pinned another girl with flaming hair against a locker. I sneaked to them. “Nobody ignores the Great and Powerful Trixxxie! Especially not you!“ She said and tried to slap the other girl. I intervened. I stopped her hand with my fist. „Who dares to…”
“… to stop the Great and Powerful Trixie?” Asked I chuckling. „Not so Great and Powerful now, eh?“ I didn’t get an answer, because Trixie run away.
“Thanks, I am Sunset Shimmer and what is the name of my saviour?” She asked with a grin.
“My name is Night Star, milady.” I answered grinning with a knightly tone. We both tried to hold back our laughter. Until we saw that we both tried it and we bursting into laughter.
“So, are you new here?” She asked.
“Oh, I am so sorry. I volunteered to show some new student around the school. I was on my way until Trixie had shown up and you now the rest.”
“It’s okay, at least I could help you this way.” I Said while trying to cheer her up. She looked at me whit a face, which asked ‘You are forgiving me?’. “Of course, I forgive you. It wasn’t your fault, you didn’t ask to get hold up.” I answered her unasked question.
“Yeah, you are right.” She said with a false laugh. I didn’t ask her about it. I liked her probably the reason for this laugh. Anyways she showed me the school. Unfortunately, I missed the chemistry class. At least I and her friends could get to know each other. Sunset leaded me to the gym because a friend of her with the name of “Pinkie Pie” had sent her a text which said she and the rest of Sunsets friends would be there. I noticed a grin at the face of her while reading the text of her friend. After this she asked me about this and I agreed. And why not. I mean I was new and didn’t lnow who Pinkie was. So, we entered the gym, which was strangely dark. Out of nowhere the lights turn on and I could hear a “Surprise!” from five different voices. I jumped into cover and sought out attackers. But instead of masked attacker with knifes I only saw five unknowns to me girls and Sunset. All of them laughed. I laugh about my own paranoia too.
„Howdy, mah name’s Applejack.“ Introduced a big blonde-haired girl with a strong Country accent. “Darling it’s pleasant to meet you. I am Rarity.” Said an alabaster skinned, with a gorgeous purple headdress girl with a British accent. “The name’s Rainbow Dash. Cool to meet you.” Introduced a cyan skinned girl with hair like a rainbow. “MynameisPinkiePie.Wehavemetalready,doyouremember?Iamsoooexicted!Ihavealsoorganizedthisparty.” Told me the girl from earlier.
“I am Night Star.” I introduced myself. I whispered to Sunset. “Is she always…”
“Yes.” I walked to the remaining girl.
“And you are?” I asked.
“I am Fluttershy.” She said quietly.
“Fluttershy, Right?” She nodded. „I won’t do anything to you neither now or in the future. I simply want to be your friend. Do you want to come to my apartment after school, maybe if you hold my cat, you will believe me when I say don’t fear me.”
I offered her. “This sounds nice I trust you and I am looking for to hold it. What kind of cat do you have.” While we talked about the holding of cats I noticed some strange looks from the remaining girls. I looked at them, as I would say ‘What?’. I heard them whispering.
“Does he talk with FLUTTERSHY?“
“Yes, Darling. What disturbs me more he has the same knowledge.“ We ended our takk with the agreement that we would take care of my cat today and tomorrow I would help her in the local animal shelter.
“What this place needs are music!” I said and stated a song. Pinkie looked at me confused.
“What the…?“ I noticed Sunset laying a hand on her shoulder.
“Now you experience what we have to deal every time with you.” Unfortunately, the next class begun but we wanted to meet again in the next break to as Dash had said “cut my wings short” at the soccer field. Nothing really important happened during class. I and Sunset was in the same history class, not because she wanted to integrate me in the school but we had simply the same teacher. Nothing unusual happened as told before the Teacher talked 50% of the time, I and Sunset 25% talked each of the time. I thought I saw a surprised looked on her face because I know so much. Anyways I heard the girls whispered again at the soccer field.
“… And ya’re sure abot this, sugarcube?” I heard AJ asking.
„Yes, he is a History book and he appeared to me this isn’t the only subject he is good.”
“So, another egghead I will show him what it means to play against me.” I heard Rainbow saying and came to me. “Ready?”
“Yes, and because I am fair you have the kick off.” Frightend inhailing was heard. ”To five goals?”
„So, here it is the next chapter. Have you anything to add Fluttershy?”
“It’s nice but…”
“But…”
“Why had you push so on my shyness.”
“You heard of the world where your friend went and she didn’t told you much about it and that your ask. And beside isn’t it true?”
“Yeah. So sorry. Anyways see you next time. Bye.”
