Be My Witch
The last stitch of Rarity's bright red dress has been finished, she then used her tape measure to make sure each inch was right, if it wasn't, then it would take a lot of work to redesign the whole thing. She just wanted her customers to be impressed with the work she has in her shop, so that way she can make a lot of money and become more popular. As for her, she was exhausted from all the work all day. She went over to her couch, took off her glasses, and laid her back down on it to get her rest, she felt her back bones pop as she pressed her back into the seating of the couch. She was only asleep for five seconds until she heard a voice she recognized and abruptly opened her eyes. "Rarity.", the young voice said. She looked up and saw her sister, Sweetie Belle, dressed up in a mermare costume.
"Rarity, what do you think of my costume.", the little sister said. The costume was the same colors that Rarity wore for her mermare costume. The tail, scales, and seashell on her head were all in blue.
"Oh, Sweetie Belle, you look beautiful in that adorable costume.", Rarity said. "It's like the same costume that I wore, but a bit smaller and it fits on you perfectly." She spotted her hooves, she wasn't wearing seashell shoes, she wore some for her costume. The shoes that she wore were lavender. "Aren't you supposed to wear seashell shoes with your costume? Because, that's what I wore for my mermare costume."
Sweetie Belle looked down at her hooves, seeing that she had no shoes on. She shook her head. "I wasn't thinking I would need shoes for my costume.", she said. "Anyways, what were you doing on the couch? I was looking around the room and you weren't making any dresses. I thought you would be somewhere else in the house."
"I was about to nap on the couch until you showed up.", Rarity said. "Sorry if I surprised you."
"Well, aren't you supposed to be getting your costume ready?", Sweetie Belle asked. "Nightmare Night's in a couple days, you better get it set up."
Rarity's eyes widened in surprise. "Wait.", she said. "Nightmare Night's in a couple days?" Has she been reading the date on her calendar? It didn't look like she did at all.
"Yeah.", Sweetie Belle answered. "Why's that? Did you not get one or something?"
Rarity felt her heart beating with stress. "Oh no, I haven't got my costume yet!", she yelped. "I haven't thought of what I want to be. I was so busy with spending time with my friends and working on dresses. Whoa is me."
"Rarity, calm down.", Sweetie Belle said. " There's still enough time for you to get a costume. If it will help you out, I'll go around stores and find you a costume." She walked over to the door and exited the shop. She waved a hoof to her sister. "I'll you in a bit, sis."
Rarity started to get worried, her hooves wobbled with fear. It's been three hours since Rarity's thought of the best costume to wear for Nightmare Night. "Oh dear.", she murmured nervously. "It's been hours since I thought what would be the best costume I could wear, but I haven't gotten any ideas on anything. Whatever shall I do?" She hears a knock on the door. She walked over and opened it to see Spike holding some kind of costume behind his back. "Oh, hello there, Spike.", she said. "What brings you here?"
Spike blushed with nervousness, he hoped that Rarity would love the costume. "I just want to give you this witch costume.", he said, revealing the costume. It was a black witch outfit with a black hat and orange and black socks. "I hope you like it."
Rarity took the costume with her magic and took a nice look at it, she took a long time for an answer, making Spike a bit more nervous. She's not all that interested in wearing something that a fantasy creature on a spooky scary night while the wind blows and you hear noises from a night owl. Even, if she rejected the gift that Spike gives her, then it would break his little heart. Spike gets her a lot of gifts, and they're always wonderful. "Spike,... it's wonderful.", she said, joyfully. " Thank you so much. I'm wearing this for Nightmare Night. How did you even get the idea to get me this costume anyway?"
"I saw Sweetie Belle wearing a mermare outfit out in Ponyville, so I went up to her and asked her why she's wearing it out in public on a nice afternoon. She told me that she was trying to get you a costume for Nightmare Night, because you didn't have one yet and you were busy with other stuff. So I start to feel bad for you and I thought that I would be happy to get you a costume.", Spike explained.
"Spike that was pretty sweet of you.", Rarity said. "You didn't have to go through all that pressure to get me this costume. You know, I'm kind of surprised about this costume, I normally wear something that makes me feel beautiful, such as a dress that vampire queen can wear."
"I thought you would look cute in that outfit.", Spike said with a bright blush on his face. He giggled nervously.
Rarity smiled and tried to hide it with a hoof in embarrassment. Her cheeks turned bright pink. "Oh, Spike, you're getting me flattered.", she said.
"So, Rarity, since we're going to the Nightmare Night party at Twilight's place, do you want to spend time with me there?", Spike asked. "Be my side pal. Be my witch."
"I would love to, Spike.", Rarity said. Then, she spoke in a grand witch voice. "It wooooooould be so splendid, I'll see you that night, Spikey-wikey."
