> Power Rangers Guardians vs Power Rangers Revolution X > by Banshee531 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Revolution X > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our story begins in a airy desert, where nothing grew and no life could be found. The wind blew the sand into the air, causing a powerful dust cloud which made visibility almost impossible. However it was this dust cloud which hid something from site. It was a group of vehicles which were travelling through the desert. They were large all terrain transport trucks which sped across the desert at high speed, busting through the sand dunes as they did so. Eventually the trucks flew out of the dust cloud and arrived at their destination. Said destination was a giant building that looked like a castle made of black metal and had gears all over the place. It had many large towers lining the perimeter, with a larger tower in the centre of it all. Inside the lead truck was a middle aged man in a uniform with a metal device strapped to his chest. He pulled out a walkie talkie and turned it on. "Professor Davis," he said, "are you sure this new device will do the job?" "Yes Commander," a male voice replied from the walkie talkie, "as soon as you get close enough the jammer will disrupt the barrier's signal long enough for the convoy to get through. You'll need to be quick as the shield will adapt quickly. "Understood," the man said as he cut the walkie talkie. As the trucks got closer to the castle, several of the towers began to glow before emitting an energy wave which began to solidify into a dome like shield. "Commander Ryn!" The driver of the truck said, "the particle barrier is up." "Activate the disrupter ray," Commander Ryn said. From out of the top of the truck folded out a satellite dish which pointed at the barrier. "Ready sir," the driver said. "Hold," Ryn said, "we don't know how long it'll last. We need to hold off until the last moment." The trucks got closer and closer to the shield and still they did not fire. "Sir?" "Hold." Closer and closer they got. "Sir!" "Hold!" Then seconds before the first truck was about to hit the barrier, Commander Ryn called out. "FIRE!" The dish fired off a red beam which struck the particle barrier, causing it to wave and wobble before an opening large enough for the trucks appeared. The first of the trucks raced through, followed by the rest of the trucks and just as the last one made it through the hole disappeared. If they had fired a second sooner that last one may have been cut in half. The trucks all came to a stop a few hundred meters from the castle. Once there all except the first truck opened up and from them came a small army of soldiers, decked out it black swat armour and each carrying a futuristic looking assault rifles. The army of men all got into formation, as Commander Ryn got out of the truck. He moved to its back and opened up a slat, before speaking into it. "You guys remain here until I give the signal. Let us clear the first few defences so you can go in full force." "Understood commander," a young sounding voice said. With that the commander closed the slat and turned to the soldiers. "Alright men!" He called out in an firm military voice, "if this works, this day will go down in history as the day we took back the earth from this mad man. Our goal is simple, infiltrate and take command of Mecha City. Once that is done our secret weapon will go in and hopefully finish the job. Is that understood?" "YES SIR!" The soldiers called out. "Then let's do this!" With that he and the soldiers rushed towards the front gate of the castle. As they drew closer they saw the gates slowly begin to open and a large group of something march out from behind it. They were humanoid machines that stoop at about six foot, with a brown metal armouring around their bodies. On the end of their left arm they didn't have a hand and instead had a thin tube like instrument. "Guardroid, inbound!" Ryn said as they continued to rush forwards, "ENGAGE!" The front row of soldiers raised their rifles and began firing lasers at the horde of robots. In return the robots aimed their left arms and from them shot their lasers. The two groups exchanged fire and despite the few numbers, the human soldiers took out all the robots with only a few casualties. "March!" Commander Ryn said as the group neared the gate. As they got closer Ryn began fiddling with the metal device on his chest, which then began to beep and display '15%' on its screen. In that second a blue aura began to surround the Commanders body as they stepped through the gate. Inside the castle was a whole bunch more robots, which began firing at the soldiers who in return fired back. Commander Ryn just walked calmly through the war zone, any blasts that flew at him just bouncing off the energy shield. In his hands he carried a pair a laser pistols, which he was using to blast the Guardroids down. After several minutes the robots had all been transformed into scrap metal, allowing the soldiers to continue on. They arrived inside a deeper section of the fortress. "Be on guard," Ryn said. "SIR!" One of the soldiers cried, getting his attention. Ryn turned and saw a large group of robots approaching. Unlike the last ones, there were much bulkier, like they were wearing football armour, and had a small laser blastedr mounted on their shoulders. "Megabots," he said, "take cover!" The soldiers all hid behind things and not a moment later, the Megabots blasters began firing small but powerful blasts at them. the soldiers found themselves completely pinned down. Commander Ryn pulled out his walkie talkie and opened a channel. "It's time," he said, "Code X!" Outside the castle, the truck Ryn had left shut opened up and five figures stepped out. They weren't wearing uniforms but did wear different coloured aviator jackets, each with a stylised number on the back. The five turned towards the castle and pull back the left sleeve of their jackets, reveal an odd device strapped to their arms. Back in the castle, the soldiers weren't doing so well. The Megabots had them all cornered. Several soldiers decided to go Leeroy Jenkins and tried to blast their way through the Megabots, but the attacks just bounced off the robot's bulky armour and left the those soldiers defenceless. As the Megabots aimed at those soldiers, Ryn rushed over to them and fiddled with the dial of his machines. The display changed to show '50%', as the force field around him expanded around the soldiers. The robots fired and their lasers struck the force field and bounced off, but doing so caused the barrier to weaken. Ryn and the soldiers took cover as the Megabots continued to fire. "What do we do sir?" One of the soldiers asked. "Nothing," Ryn said, "it's in their hands now." In that moment one of the walls of the room exploded, catching the Megabot's attention. Turning towards it they saw five figures stepping into the room, their forms shielded by the dust of the explosion. Eventually the smoke cleared, revealing five figures in brightly coloured body suits. The suits were a combination of the primary colour, either red, blue, yellow, green and pink, with white sleeves, boots and belts. They also had black trim going down the side. One their heads they wore a helmets that masked the entire head, with black goggle like visors in front of their eyes. The soldiers all cheered at the sight of the five, happy at their appearance. "GO RANGERS!" One of them said. "REVOLUTION X!" Another screamed. The five Rangers stepped forwards, causing the Megabots to begin charging their weapons at them. One then fired a single shot, which flew towards the Red Ranger at high speed. However, said Ranger reacted by pulling something off the hostler on his belt, before swiping it through the air and deflecting the blast back at the Megabot. The laser struck it and caused the robot to go dead in the water and fall to the ground. The Red Ranger, rapier like sword in hand, pointed his weapon at the robots. "Attack!" The rest of the Rangers charged forward, ready to take down their foes. The Blue Ranger was the first to reach them. He was punching his way through the army, his strikes actually causing major damage to the machines armour. "Prism Punch!" He called out as his arms and hands were encased within blue metallic boxing gloves, which he used to send several Megabots flying backwards at once. The Yellow Ranger meanwhile, had pulled out her own rapier. "Energy Blade!" She called out as she traced the blade with her finger, doing so caused it to glow bright yellow. "Power Slash!" She swung the blade around, sending energy waves out which cut the robots in two. The Green Ranger pulled a futuristic looking blaster of his belt and aimed it at the robots. "Energy Blaster!" He called out as he ran around his opponents. "Power Shot!" He fired off his weapon, shooting green energy bolts, and managed to hit each of the robots square between the eyes. And the Pink Ranger was doing flips and cart wheels through the robots, dealing them powerful kicks whenever she wasn't. "Prism Kick!" She called out as her feet were encased within pink metallic boots, which she used to send several Megabots flying with a single kick. The Red Ranger still had his sword in hand, but had also pulled out a blaster and was using them in tandem. He would slash one Megabot down before blasting another and so on and so forth. In a dark area of the castle a figure was sitting in a throne watching the battle on a computer screen. "Well well well," he said, his voice deep and menacing, "the Revolution Rangers have chosen to grace my hallowed halls. But their to late, my plan cannot be stopped at this point." He switched the computer screen to show another room, which was completely dark. Pressing a few buttons the room lit up, revealing what was inside. It was a space ship like creation infront of a large mechanical circle. "Power up the Transmatt Gate and ready the ship," he said into the computer, "it's time to take a vacation into another universe." Back with the Rangers, they'd just finished off the Megabots which lay as scrap on the floor. "Okay," the Red Ranger called out, "you guys can come out." Commander Ryn and the soldiers stepped out and looked around, impressed by the skill the Rangers possessed. "Excellent Rangers," Ryn said, "I'll let you take point from here on." The Rangers nodded as Red turned to his team. "We all know the plan." The others nodded and were about to begin, when a female voice called out. "WAIT!" They all turned to the entrance and saw a middle aged woman with brown hair step in, followed by another Ranger. This one was dressed in black, with white sleeves and boots along with gold trim and visor. On his chest he wore a gold vest like shield. [AN] "Mom," Red said as they walked over to them, "Neo. What are you doing here? You were suppose to stay in the transport." "Sorry," the woman said, "but we detected a powerful surge of X Energy coming from somewhere in the complex. It could be some kind of weapon or trap he's set for us." "You sure Doctor Catherine?" Ryn asked. "Positive," Catherine replied, "we need to investigate it just to be sure." "She's right," Red said as he turned to his team, "change of plans. Me, Mom, Neo and the Commander will check it out. The rest of you, stick to your tasks. Take out the security and power source for the complex, that way he'll be defenceless." "Right!" They said. With that, the Rangers and soldiers split up, Blue and Pink going one way and Yellow and Green going the other, leaving Red and Neo with the scientist and commander. "It's this way," Catherine said as she lead them through the many areas. On the way, they ran into a group of Megabots blocking the way. "I got this," Neo said as he pulled out a device. It was a rectangular box with a screen and a handle that curved at the end. "Neo Defender, Blast Mode!" He ran at them and pointed the device at them, before pressing a button on the handle with his thumb. Several black energy bolts flew out a slot in the device, which struck the Megabots and destroyed them. Once he got closer to them, he pressed a button on the side of the device. "Blade Mode!" A black energy blade shot out the end and with it he slashed through the rest of the Megabots. "Nice work," Red said once he'd finished. "Thanks," Neo replied putting the Neo Defender back into Blast Mode. "Let's go," Catherine said, "it's not far now." They continued through the castle, until they reached a large metal door. "This is it," Catherine said. Suddenly they heard footsteps. Turning back around they saw several Guardroids and Megabots marching down the corridor. "Oh great," Red said, but in that second Neo and Commander Ryn stepped up. "We'll hold them off," Ryn said as he activated his machine, "you and Catherine see what's in there." They nodded and stepped through the door. The two looked around, but the room was completely black and they couldn't see a thing. "See anything?" Catherine asked. "No it's to dark," Red said, "let me switch to night vision." However, before he could the room lit up and revealed the ship and ring. "What is that?" Red asked. "No," Catherine said, "it couldn't be." "Oh but it is!" The two tensed up hearing that voice, before looking around. "I welcome you to my farewell party," the voice said, "it warms the cockles of my heart that you would come see me off." "What's the plan here?" Red asked, "what are you up to?" "Oh isn't it obvious?" The voice replied, "I'm doing what you wanted me to do. Giving you back your world. I've set my sights on a new one." "I can't believe he pulled it off," Catherine said, "the Transmatt Gate was just a theory." "Oh it's so much more then that," the voice replied, "let me show you." Before they could reply, the circle began to hum as it powered up. The device began shooting blue lightning inside the circle, which became more frequent until they connected and the ring started spinning. faster and faster it went until finally the lightning transformed into a solid blue pool of energy. The ship began to power up and and levitate, getting in line with the gate. "No!" Red said as he pulled out his blaster, "he can't get away." With that he started blasting, but the ship had a barrier around which the laser bounced off. Eventually the ships thrusters kicked into life, sending the ship flying forwards towards the gate. "NO!" Red said as he began running towards the gate. "Wait!" Catherine called as she followed. As the ship finished passing through, Red and Catherine leapt through the gate. Seconds later the devices began to spark and crack before switching off. A second later the door opened up and Ryn along with the rest of the Rangers came through, before looking around. "What's going on?" Blue asked. "Where are they?" Pink asked. Green looked over the machine and shook his head, "I don't know," he said. "That's not a good enough answer," Yellow said. "They came in here," Neo said, "so where'd they go?" "I don't know," Ryn said, "but lets hope they find a way to contact us soon." > Doctor Mechano > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The city of Canterlot was enjoying another amazing day of peace. It had been a week since any kind of monster had attack, not since the Power Rangers defeated the giant lovecraftian monster. Many people had begun to suspect that that monster had been the one behind the other attacks and with it destroyed, the city was completely safe. The Power Rangers had brought peace back to the city. And where were the Power Rangers you ask? Four of them were at Sugarcube Corner, enjoying their last few days of freedom before school started back up next week. Flash Sentry, the Red Ranger of Courage, was sitting on the end of a couch lazily playing his guitar. Micro Chips, the Yellow Ranger of Knowledge, was sitting on a chair opposite him playing a video game on his phone. Sandelwood, the Green Ranger of Willpower, was sitting on the floor meditating. Sunset Shimmer, the Gold Ranger of Forgiveness, was sitting on the other end of the couch enjoying a nice cup of coffee. Despite no longer being in activate duty, they all still wore their colour codded Ranger Jackets. The last member of their group, the only one not a Ranger, was Twilight Sparkle. She was sitting between Flash and Sunset, nodding her head to the Red Rangers music while reading a book. Her dog Spike was sitting on her lap, lazily snoozing away. Pinkie Pie was also there, manning the register but with no one else in the place she was leaning on the counter looking bored. Each member of the group were doing their own thing, but enjoying it in each others company. However, they all came out of their little worlds when Flash finally stopped playing his song halfway through a tune. They all turned towards him and saw he had a small frown on his face. "What's up?" Twilight asked as she closed her book. Flash didn't reply for a moment, obviously trying to put his thoughts into words, until finally he sighed and turned to them. "Is anyone else...bored?" The four all stared at him for a moment, before all sighing in relief. "I'm so glad someone asked that," Micro said as he shut off his game, "I was worried I was the only one." "Same here," Sandel said, "everything I used to enjoy doing now seems so..." "Low stakes," Sunset finished, getting a node in agreement at this. "Its understandable," Twilight said, "after everything that's happened this summer, everyday life wouldn't seem as exciting." "Tell me about it," Flash said, "I'm even having trouble sleeping. All the energy I used to use kicking monster butt is just there keeping me up. I'm considering trying to do a hundred push ups before bed, just to see if it works. "You guys don't even know you're born." The group turned to see Lyra Heartstrings, the Blue Ranger of Trust, walk in alongside Sweetie Drops, the Pink Ranger of Love. Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Fluttershy also arrived. "We were Rangers long before you guys were in the mix," Lyra said, "you've only spent a summer doing this." "Try doing it for almost a hundred years," Sweetie said. The others all nodded at this, knowing the two had a point, but still it didn't change the fact that they were all incredibly bored right now. "I'm happy that we were able to stop Darklight and save the world," Flash said, "but I just wish something exciting would happen. Heck, I'm actually starting to miss Doom Raizer." Everyone else chuckled at this, before deciding to change the subject. "So how's Soarin?" Twilight asked Rainbow. "He's doing okay," the teen girl replied, "unlike the rest of you, he's actually doing stuff." "Getting ready for this years soccer season I'm guessing?" Micro said. "Yeap," Rainbow said, "they look to win the Intercity Championships again this year. Since it's Soarin's senior year and he's hoping to get a scholarship, he's working even harder then usual." "We should go cheer him on during his first game," Pinkie said, "it'll be great." "Unless he's facing us," Rarity said, "but it would be nice." "Agreed," Applejack said. "I think Soarin would like that," Fluttershy said. "Sounds good to me," Flash said. In that moment, a familiar beeping caught their attention. They all grew concerned hearing it, before Flash reached for his wrist and rolled up his sleeve to show his communicator. He then pressed the blue button to open the channel. "Rangers!" It was Principle Celestia, who sounded rather concerned. "We're here Celestia," Twilight said, "what's up?" "Are you near a TV?" This time it was Principle Luna who spoke. "Yeah," Flash replied glancing over at the one attached to the wall, "why?" "Switch on the news," Celestia replied, "you'll see why." They all grew concerned and turned to Pinkie, who'd grabbed the remote and switched it on. The TV burst into life and showed what the two principles had been concerned about. Canterlot was under attack. The once peaceful city was now in chaos as humanoid robots had suddenly appeared and began reeking havoc, blasting the laser guns which they had in place of a left hand. Many people were running in a panic, trying to escape this new threat. Flying above the mechanical army was a small egg shaped vehicle, no bigger then an old fashioned car, which was silver in colour with a tinted triangular window on the front. It hovered above the robots firing its own more powerful lasers. The Rangers watched in horror at what was unfolding. They couldn't believe this. Only a week after defeating their last enemy and now someone else was trying to do the same thing. Who were they? Where had they come from? Were they connected to Darklight in some way? Were they also after the Elements? All these questions raced through their heads. "How?" Flash asked. Before anyone could answer however, the TV suddenly switched feeds. Now the screen showed nothing but darkness, though they could see the outline of someone in it. "Greetings," The voice was deep and menacing, Fluttershy practically shrunk in fear from simply listening to it. "I am sending you this message so you know who it is that had conquered you. I am the brilliant scientist known as Doctor Mechano!" The eleven teens all stared at the screen in shock, not knowing how to feel. "I have conquered my home dimension and have now chosen to set my sights on yours. You will all bow down to me. Your government cannot stop me, the heroes you call the Power Rangers cannot stop me. Soon, your world will be under my total control and there is nothing you can do to stop me. Heed my warning and surrender." With that the screen went blank and the room fell into silence. "This can't be real," Rainbow said, breaking the silence. "I get the feeling it's completely real," Sunset said. "What do we do?" Sweetie asked. Everyone turned to Flash, expecting an answer. The teen rocker thought about what he'd just heard, how this Doctor Mechano had said that they didn't stand a chance against him. Darklight had said the same thing and look what happened. Flash smirked at the memory, before nodding and turning to the others. "What do you think we're gonna do," he replied, "we're gonna kick this creeps butt and send him packing back to his own world." The others all smirked at this and nodded. "Let's get to school and grab our Elements," Flash told them, "then we'll Ranger up and take this guy down." "No need Rangers." They all looked back down at their communicators, hearing the voice of Starswirl the Bearded. "Are you all alone?" "It's just us," Micro said. "Then I'm free to do this." Suddenly there was a puff of smoke and as it faded, they saw something now laying on the table. It was a cone shaped metal case, with a line running down the middle which looked like it opened up. They gathered around it as Twilight pulled the case open. Inside were eight familiar hexagonal crystals of different colours. The Guardian Elements. The Rangers all smiled as they took all but two of the Elements. "Okay," Flash said as he held his Element to his heart, "new plan. Me, Lyra, Micro, Sandel and Sweetie will head out. Sunset, Twilight and the rest of you head back to the base and be ready for anything. We don't know this guy, so he may send a second wave out. Contact Soarin and Shining Armour. If he does send out something else, head out and take care of it." Sunset nodded, though a little sad she was being put on the bench, and they all headed towards the door. "Here," Flash said as he handed Twilight his keys, "I'll get a ride with Sandel." Twilight nodded and they all headed out the door, ready to take on a new adventure that awaited them. The town centre was a mess. The robots and ship had turned the whole place into a warzone, with rubble from the destroyed buildings littering the place. The Guardroid robots continued to march through the city, firing their blasters at anything that moved or shined. As one Guardroid stepped passed a wall, it turned towards it and then fired a blast at it. The wall exploded and as the dust faded, the Guardroid saw a small group of people were all huddled behind the remains. The group of people all saw the robot and all began screaming, as it slowly stepped towards them with its blaster raised. While this was happening, a hooded robed figure was rushing through the rubble. When they heard the screams they turned to see the Guardroid getting closer to them. However, before the figure could react, five different coloured blasts flew out of nowhere and shot the robot down. The figure turned to the origin of the blast and saw five teens, blasters in hand, rushing towards the army of robots. Flash and his team ran as fast as they could towards the robots, blasting any that got to close. Eventually they were at a close enough distance that the mechanical army recognised them. The Guardroids all turned their attention to the five and stared at them, as if studying them intensely. The space ship then flew down and landed at the front of the army, a trio of legs folding out and taking the wait. "Well well well," a familiar voice got broadcaster from it, "let me guess. The Power Rangers." The five simply stared at the egg ship, none of them amused by the person inside. "And you're Doctor Mechano I'm guessing," Flash said, "why don't you stop hiding and show yourself." "Very well," the voice said, "look upon the face of your future ruler!" The ships window slowly opened, releasing a white smoke that kept the person within hidden. Finally the last of the smoke cleared, revealing the figure inside. Doctor Mechano was a middle aged man with greying blonde hair. His entire left side of his face was covered with a robotic mask, while his left eye appeared to have been completely replaced with a red cybernetic one. He wore a black metal suit and his right arm appeared to have been replaced by a robotic one. The Rangers stared at the man in near horror, seeing his half robotic form. Mechano just smiled as he saw their stares. "Not the usual villain that you're used to am I?" "How would you know what kind of villains we're use to?" Lyra asked, she and the Rangers getting over their original shock. "Oh you'd be surprised what I know about you," Mechano said, "I've been keeping my eye on you for a long time." "For how long?" Micro asked, "how long have you been here?" "I first arrived in this universe three months ago after escaping my own universe." "Escape," Sweetie said with a raised eyebrow, "that implies things weren't going well." "So much for conquering your world," Sandel said. Mechano growled at this. "My claim was not completely unjustified," he said, "I was able to take control of ninety nine point nine nine percent of my own universe." "But I'm guessing that last zero zero one percent was proving to much?" Micro said. "There were...resistances," Mechano said, "a nuisance, not a threat. However their efforts to stop me, diminished my resources and my world was running low on obtainable ones. I needed to get my hands on a new method of gathering those resources." "So that's why you're here," Lyra said. "Why is it every interdimensional power hungry tyrant keeps coming here to cause us trouble?" Flash asked before turning to his team, "did we miss a meeting?" "Enough of your jokes," Mechano said as the lid of his ship came back down and the ship took off, "you cannot defeat me. Surrender and maybe I will allow you to life as my personal henchmen." "Like we'd ever work for a monster like you," Sweetie said. "Then you will be destroyed," Mechano said. "Now where have I heard that before?" Micro asked in mock confusion. "Oh I know," Sandel replied, "from another psychopath who wanted us to give up." "Exactly," Flash said as he stepped forward, "and we all know how that turned out." "Well you won't find me so easy to defeat," Mechano said, "Guardroids!" The robots reactivated, raising their weapons and readying themselves to attack on command. "It's Morphin Time!" Flash called out as the five of them each pulled out a familiar battery shaped device. "Magi-Chargers!" "READY!" With a click the devices shined, before the five placed them in their Morphin Blasters and shut the slot.. DRAGON CHARGER...ENGAGED! SEA-SERPENT CHARGER...ENGAGED! GRIFFON CHARGER...ENGAGED! SPHINX CHARGER...ENGAGED! FENRIR CHARGER...ENGAGED! "Energise!" They yelled spinning the barrel, before pointing the blasters to the sky. "Unleash the Power!" They all pulled the triggers and five different heads flew out and bit down on them, decking them out in their Ranger Suits. "Power Rangers," Flash called out as they posed and said together. "GUARDIANS!" "Impressive," Mechano said from the safety of his ship. He then pressed a button on his control panel, "attack!" The Guardroids received the command and all did as they were told, marching forward and firing their blasters at the Rangers. "Let's do this," Flash said as the Rangers pulled out their weapons and charged forward. Micro was the first to strike, using his blaster to shot down several Guardroids as he ran forward. He then leapt up and over some of the robots, landing in an empty space between two groups. Before they had a chance to react, he fired away with precision accuracy. "It's feels good to be doing this again," he said as he ducked down to dodge a blast, before firing his own in response, "these things might be easier to beat then a Shade." He reached into his belt and opened the buckle, before pulling out another of his chargers and then clicking the button before placing it in his blaster. GRIFFON CHARGER...ENGAGED! "Energise!" He said as he spun the barrel, before pointing the weapon at a large group of Guardroids. "Morphin Blaster, FIRE!" He pulled the trigger and unleashed an extra powerful attack, which flew at the robots and destroyed them. Sweetie meanwhile took out another Magi-Charger and clicked it. "Magi-Charger, ready!" She then placed it in her blaster. "Morphin Duel Blaster," she pulled the trigger, "activate!" A blast of light shot out of the barrel and took form, becoming an attachment for the blaster. It lengthened the barrel and now had two blaster heads side by side. She held the weapon with both hands and aimed it at the Guardroids. "Power Blast!" She began to fire rapidly, the twin barrels doubling the power and striking multiple enemies at once. Several Guardroids managed to get close to her, by Sweetie easily dodged them while she continued to blast away. "Blade Mode!" She pressed a button on the side and a blade flipped out from between the barrels, which she used to slash at the Guardroids she had just dodged. "Spirit Sabre!" Sandel pulled out his cutlass like sword and began slashing away at the Guardroids.  He then hit a button on it, causing a compartment to flip open. Opening his belt he pulled out a Magi-Charger and clicked it, before placing it in the slot and shutting it. FENRIR CHARGER...ENGAGED! "Power Slash!" He spun around and cut down the most of remainder of the Guardroids. "Righteous." Lyra flip jumped into another group of Guardroids, before dealing a barrage of powerful kicks which sent the robots flying. She then pulled out both her Spirit Sabre and Morphin Blaster, slashing away at the robots before blasting them from a distance. "Blast Cutter!" She screamed before blasting the air and then slashing the blast, sending it flying towards the group before exploding. Flash was fighting off the second to last group of Guardroids, using fighting skills he'd learned from the rest of his team. Sweetie's stylish dodging combined with fighting moves Shining had taught him, then he pulled out his blaster and sword to use in a combination of Micro and Sandel's skills. "Now this is more like it!" Once they'd finished up, the Rangers grouped up to face the final batch of Guardroids. "Magi-Charger!" Flash said as he held up the device and clicked the button, "Ready. Guardian Buster, activate." He threw the Charger in the air before it transformed into a larger version of the Ranger's blaster, which Flash caught and activated by pulling the forend. Four compartments opened up on the side, with a fifth opening at the back. Magi-Chargers," everyone said, as they activated their Chargers and placed them in the compartments before shutting them. "Locked and loaded." When Flash placed his into the compartment and shut it, the white streaks changed to red. GUARDIAN BUSTER...RED CHARGE! As Flash aimed the weapon at Guardroids, Lyra and Micro placed their hands on his shoulders and hips while Sandal and Sweetie did so to them. "Guardian Buster, Dragon Blast...FIRE!" Flash pulled the trigger and a single powerful blast shot out, which morphed into the shape of the Dragon Zord's head as it flew at the robots. The blast struck the ground and created an explosion, which consumed the Guardroids and fried them to a crisp. On the sidelines, the cloaked figure watched the battle. "Their skills and teamwork are top notch," he said, "but they don't know what their dealing with. Maybe they can help us, but can we trust them." From his transport, Mechano watched the battle and had to admit he was impressed. "Almost as good as the others," he said, "but I know they don't stand a chance against these." He pressed another button on his dashboard. "Megabots, engage!" With the Guardroids destroyed, the Rangers turned to Mechano's ship. "Got anything else to throw at us?" Flash asked confidently. In that second they heard the sound of heavy footsteps getting closer. Looking around they saw a group of Megabots marching towards them, ready for battle. "You had to ask," Lyra said. "Those things look a lot more advanced then what we just took out," Micro said. "Then let's advance our own tech," Sweetie said. "Sounds good to me," Sandel said. "Let's do this," Flash said as he pulled out another Magi-Charger. The clicked them on and then placed them in their Morphin Blasters. "Magitech!" They all yelled spinning the barrel, "Online!" The fired the blasters and out came the heads again, only instead of biting on their bodies they bit the rangers arms. There was a flash of light and when it died down, the Rangers were shown holding new weapons. "Let's do this," Flash said as he and the other Rangers charged forward. "Dragon Breaker!" He called out as he reached the robots, "Head Smash!" Throwing all of his might into his arm, he swung forward and punched the first Megabot with the dragon shaped metal glove. However, though the Megabot was pushed back, it remained in tact and once again began moving forward. "What?" Lyra spun her Serpent Staff around and used the bladed end to slash at the robots, but the weapon barely scratched the metal. "What are these things made of?" "Griffon Shooter," Micro said, "Morphin Blaster, Duel Shot!" He fired his two weapons at the robots, but they simply bounced off the armour and only seemed to cause them to stumble of a second. Sandel was currently slashing away at the robots with his Fenrir Fang, but like with Lyra his weapon was doing nothing more the scratching the paintwork. "Not righteous," he said. "Sphinx Shield!" Sweetie called out as she held up her weapon along with her Morphin Blaster. She fired at the robots, but like with Micro the blast simply bounced off them. The robots all aimed with shoulder mounted blasters at the Pink Ranger, before firing a barrage of lasers at her. She tried to guard with her shield, but the force of the attack was just to much and she was sent flying back. She collided into a nearby wall and then fell to the ground, the rest of the Rangers rushing over to guard her. "Sweetie," Lyra said as she checked on her, "are you okay?" "I think so," Sweetie said, "but these things are to strong." Back at the base, the rest of the team were watching the battle and were beginning to grow concerned. "Their getting their butts handed to them," Rainbow said. "Why aren't their weapons working?" Rarity said, "they worked fine of the first group of robots." "Those robots were made of a basic metal alloy," Twilight said, "whatever these ones are made of, it's not something from this world." "If we could get an exact reading on the metal," Sunset said, "we could re-calibrate their weapons to deal with them. But our sensors can't make heads or tails of it." "There has to be something we can do?" Applejack asked. "I don't think there is," Twilight replied, as she turned back to the screen. The Rangers found themselves in a tight spot, with their weapons completely useless against the robots they quickly found themselves out of options. "It's over Rangers," Mechano said as his army fired off their weapons. There was a powerful explosion, which sent the five flying back. They hit the ground with such a force, that they demorphed and were now helpless. "Goodbye Rangers," Mechano said as the Megabots re-aimed their lasers at them, "you have no idea how happy destroying Power Rangers is going to make me." The Rangers tried to pick themselves up, but they couldn't. All they could do was watched as the Megabot's blasters charged up. It seemed like this was the end for them. "Evolution, Revolution!" From out of nowhere, a barrage of red laser fire flew over the downed Rangers and struck the Megabots. The robots were all pushed back and their blasts sent flying into the sky. "What the?" Flash asked as he tried to look behind him, but before he could see where the blasts had come from, something leapt over him and then landed on the ground infront. The five's eyes went wide as they saw the one who'd saved them was actually a Red Ranger, who was kneeling on one knee having landed like that. The Red Ranger looked up from the ground and then stood tall between the downed Rangers and the Megabots. "YOU!" Mechano screamed from his ship. "Surprise," the Red Ranger said, "wasn't expecting to see me here were you?" "So you leapt through the gate after me," Mechano said, "well it makes no difference. You will be destroyed alongside these Rangers." Flash and the others managed to push themselves to their feet, as the new Rangers glanced back at them over his shoulder. "Who are you?" Flash asked. "A friend," the Red Ranger replied as he turned to the Megabots, "leave these guys to me." "ATTACK!" Mechano screamed as the robots charged forward. The Red Ranger also charged forward, meeting the Megabots head on and knocking them back with precision accurate kicks and punches. When he struck the robots, they stayed down. "He's good," Micro said. "True that," Sandel said, "I've never seen anybody move like that, not even it those old martial arts movies." The Megabots fired their lasers at the Ranger, but he saw this coming and leaped backwards. He did a midair back flip and dodged the blasts effortlessly, before landing a ways away before he went to his belt and pulled out two a pair of weapons. A futuristic blaster and rapier, which he started wielding with perfect skill. He fired at several of the robots, blasting them down before slashing at some more with the rapier. "Whoever this guy is," Lyra said, "he's obviously been doing this for a long time." "Yeah," Sweetie said, "but who is he?" "I don't know," Flash said, "but he's on our side, that's what's important." The Red Ranger had taken out the majority of the robots, leaving only a small group of the left. He turned to them and nodded. "Time to end this," he said as he put his blaster away and spun the rapier in his right hand around until her was holding it in a backhanded grip. Bringing it up he took his left hand and began tracing two fingers along the blade, which began glowing red as he did this. "Energy Blade," he called out before spinning on the balls of his feet and doing a backhanded slash through the air, "Power Slash!" An energy wave flew off the blade and struck the ground around the Megabots. The Red Ranger spun to face the Guardian Rangers, as an explosion occurred behind him completely destroyed the remaining Megabots. "Oh yeah," he said. The Rangers had to admit, that was badass. Mechano didn't share this sentiment and his ship began to leave. "You win this round," he said to them, "but I have bigger plans. This world will be mine." And with that the ship zoomed off. "Not while I'm here," the Red Ranger called out to the retreating ship, before turning to the others. Flash and the team all stared at him, causing the Red Ranger to grow nervous. "So," he said, "um...hi." "Hi," Flash said suspiciously, "that's all you're gonna say." "Well what do you want me to say?" "How about a name," Lyra said. "And where you came from," Sandel said. "And how you somehow knew that psycho," Sweetie said. "And how your weapons worked against those robots while ours didn't," Micro said. "Okay," the Ranger said, "fair enough." Before he said anything else, there was a flash of red light and as it faded the cloaked figure was revealed. He then reached up and pulled off the cloak, revealing his true form. He was a human male, roughly twenty one years of age, with jet black hair a pale skin. He wore a red aviator jacket with a stylised number one on the back and on his wrist was an odd look device. "My name is Christopher Davis," he said, "I'm the leader of the Power Rangers Revolution X." The others nodded at this, Flash stepping up, "I'm Flash Sentry, leader of the Guardian Power Rangers." "It's good to finally meet you," Chris said, "I've been watching you guys since I learned this world had Rangers." "So how long have you been here?" Micro asked him. "Three months." They all turned to see a woman in a cloak like what Chris wore walking up to them. "Who's this?" Lyra asked. "My mother," Chris said as she stepped over to her, "Doctor Catherine Davis." "It's a pleasure to meet you all," Catherine said. "The pleasure's all our," Sweetie said, "especially since your son just saved our lives." "We should probably talk somewhere else," Flash said, "let's head back to the base so we can get up to speed with each other." "What's there to be up to speed with?" Sandel asked, "a mad scientist from another dimension's trying to take over our world and a Power Ranger from that would's come to stop him." "It's more complicated then that," Catherine said. "Please," Lyra said, "anything you can tell us will be of great help." Catherine nodded. "I'll tell you everything. It's a story of how we lost our world and of a single city, a city called Hope." > The City of Hope > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our story began almost thirty years ago, when a meteorite crash landed into our world. When the military of our world pulled it out of the creator it made, they discovered it was giving off a powerful energy reading. When they broke the meteorite apart, they discovered an unusual crystal core at its centre. Three scientists, the best in their fields, were brought in to examine the crystal. The first was me, Dr Catherine Song, I was the top mind when it came to unknown entities and all things not of the earth. The next was Prof Ryo Davis, the lead scientist in the field of robotics and machinery. Finally there was Dr Mechano, who had studied many aspects of both of our fields and was just as knowledgeable as us. We spent months studying the crystal, discovering that the radiation it was giving off was not only harmless to humans, but also a source of infinite clean energy. We named the crystal the X Element and the energy it gave off, X Energy. We believed this crystal to be a gift from the heaven, a way to rebuild our world into a brighter future and began designing devices and vehicles which would use the X Energy. In this time Ryo and I grew close and fell in love, eventually marrying. However, things one day took a turn for the worst. Ryo and Catherine had been enjoying some time together, when suddenly their lab shook. "What's going on?" Catherine asked. "I don't know," Ryo said as he got up, "but we'd better go check on the lab." Catherine nodded and they both rushed off towards their underground lab. When they arrived, they found the place was a wreak. There were loose wires and busted computers all over the place, along with pieces of the roof which fallen. "The whole place is coming down!" Ryo said. "What could have caused this?" Catherine asked as they climbed over the rubble. "I don't know," Ryo said, "but we need to make sure the X Element is secure." Quick as they could, they made their way to the lab which held the crystal. It wasn't easy with the whole building collapsing around them, but eventually they found themselves outside the metal doors. Ryo quickly types in the code, allowing the doors to open and for them to step inside. This lab was in even worst shape with every single piece of equipment short circuiting. In the centre of the room, inside glass container, was a house sized crystal which had several tube like cables attached to it. This was the X Element, the meteoric core which was glowing brightly. That glow was the X Energy it generated, which was being sucked into the tubes and being sent somewhere. "What?" Ryo asked as they rushed inside, "who's using the X Element." "Ryo!" They turned to see a younger none robotic Mechano rush into the room. "Thank goodness you're here," he said, "I don't know what went wrong." "You did this?" Ryo asked. "Yes," Mechano said, "I was testing the system, but the computers began to overload." "I told you we weren't ready for a field test," Ryo yelled over the sound of the out of control machines, "why didn't you listen to me?" "I thought we were ready," Mechano replied, "but I don't understand what went wrong. I only used five percent of the X Elements power." "Five percent is enough to light a whole city for a year," Ryo told him, "you channelled it into a single unstable point and now the backlash is going to destroy this whole place." "We have to evacuate!" Catherine said. "No!" Mechano said as he began typing away at the computer, "I can fix this. I know I can." "It's to late," Ryo told him, "the systems already in overload." "I can do it," Mechano said. Suddenly the computer he was working at exploded in his face, followed by several other computers. Ryo and Catherine had retreated back, safely away from the explosions but knew they had to escape. "Wait!" They turned back to the lab, where they saw Mechano buried under some rubble. He held a hand over the left side of his face, while reaching out for them. "Please," he called out, "don't leave me!" "We have to save him," Catherine called out as she tried to go in to get him, but the lab continued to collapse and Ryo pulled her back. "We can't," he told her, "if we go in there now we'll all die!" "But we can't leave him," Catherine told him. Ryo then reached around her waist and began pulling her to the exit. "I'm sorry," Ryo said. They rushed to the exit and were soon outside, just before the entire lab collapsed in on itself. Seconds later the remains were incinerated by a powerful explosion. They attempted to excavate the remains, but it was for nort. Mechano and the X Element were seemingly destroyed, the only thing that remained was an almost microscopic fragment of the crystal. We mourned Mechano's death and continued on with our lives, giving birth to our first born son. However, it turns out Mechano and the X Element somehow survived. Mechano had been badly injured and was forced to replace several parts of his body with machinery to live, transforming himself into the half robotic being he is today. It seemed the trauma of the explosion and his cyborganism had driven him insane, as he declared vengeance on the whole of mankind. Using the X Element, he created an army of machines which he used to begin his conquest of our world and he was succeeding. He'd concurred almost all of the world, until Ryo created a place where the remains of humanity could live. Using the X Element shard, Ryo created a device that would create a powerful dome energy shield. This Particle Barrier was used to create a safe heaven, where people could be safe from Mechano's attack. This safe heaven became the only place that Mechano couldn't get into and soon became the last safe place on earth. It was humanities last hope and so that became its name. For seventeen years the domed city of Hope protected the citizens within from Mechano's wrath, but Ryo knew it wouldn't last forever. For those seventeen years, Ryo worked on a way to protect humanity once the Particle Barrier became to weak and he did it. He created five weapons, which would be able to allow the user to not only protect themselves from Mechano's forces, but also be able to fight back against them. The Revolution Morphers. There was only one problem. The Revolution Morphers were so powerful, that they needed an incredible power source. They needed X Energy. With the X Element under Mechano's control, it seemed the Revolution Morphers were useless. That is until we made a startling discovery. Due to our constant closeness to the X Element, our exposure to the X Energy caused our DNA to be infused with the energy. Though this did not effect us in anyway, the energy infused DNA was passed down to our children. Christopher, Kade, the twins Daniela and Grant and finally Valarie, were each mutated and were able to generate the X Energy on their own. Though not in the same infinite manor as the X Element, they could generate enough X Energy that they themselves could fuel and use the Revolution Morphers. Though Ryo and I were reluctant to the idea of letting our children fight against a mad man, when the children learned of their abilities and what that meant they all instantly chose to take on the task. And so each one underwent training to become the heroes that would save the world. Overseen by our close friend, Commander Thomas Ryn, they soon mastered their individual skills and were ready to face the evil that was coming. And so it was that after seventeen years of peace, the X Element Shard finally lost the last of its power and the Particle Barrier shut down. Mechano had been waiting. As soon as the barrier fell he launched an all out attack on the city, but that's when he met them. After years of training, our five children accepted their destiny and used the Morphers for first time. Becoming the Power Rangers, Revolution X! With their new powers, the Power Rangers managed to defeat Mechano's invading army and send him packing. And so the war began. For two years Mechano would send his forces in, lead by more advanced attack bots. One by one the Rangers would defeat these forces, destroying the attack bots along with them, but with each fight Mechano improved his design and built stronger attack bots. Over time the Rangers would soon find themselves overwhelmed by Mechano's most powerful robot and were almost defeated, until the timely arrival of a new Ranger. This Neo Ranger saved the Rangers and defeated Mechano's robot, before revealing himself as the Ranger's younger brother Aichi. He explained how he had time travelled back from nineteen years in the future, where Mechano had defeated the Rangers and conqured the whole world. He and a hand full of survivors lived in fear of Mechano, who had turned their world into a barren wasteland. Their only hope had been an unusual device they'd found in the ruins of Hope City, a prototype Neo Morpher which Ryo had been working on before the Ranger's defeat. Taking it, Aichi snuck into Mechano's mechanical fortress and found what he needed. The future Mechano apparently created a device that could create a portal into the past, which Aichi used to travel back to the day when the Power Rangers were suppose to be defeated. With future knowledge, Aichi managed to destroy the robot and save his siblings before joining the team. With this new Ranger on the team, they managed to keep Mechano at bay but knew they needed to put an end to Mechano once and for all. After a year of searching, we managed to find Mechano's mechanical city and mounted a full force attack. Resistance was strong, but with the Ranger's help we managed to take the city and attempted to capture Mechano. However, it seems Mechano was prepared. He had built an interdimensional portal, one we had only theorised about, which he used to escape us. But before the portal closed, Christopher and I managed to jump through it. "And that's how he got here," Catherine said as she finished her story. She, Christopher and their new friends were in the Guardian Ranger's underground base. After arriving there and meeting up with Shining and Soarin, the group had sat down to listen to Catherine's tale. "Whoa," Soarin said, "I knew other worlds were real, but to think there's one so similar to our own...minus the whole mad scientist turning it into a wasteland part." "We're sorry to hear about your world," Shining said, "I can't imagine living like that." "It's okay," Catherine said. "I'm used to it," Chris said, "considering I grew up in it." "But still," Sunset said, "it's truly horrible." "I'd hate to live in a world like that," Soarin said. "And you won't," Chris said, "because I'm gonna stop Mechano and finally end this once and for all." "And you'll have us there to help you," Flash said, "you helped us and now we're ready to return to favour." He held out a hand, obviously expecting him to take it in agreement. Chris looked at his hand and then held up his own, staring at it as if unsure. In that moment, Catherine took hold of his hand and placed it in Flash's. "Christopher," Catherine said, "we can't do this on our own. We're alone in an unknown world, with no idea how to contact our friends. We need them." Chris stared at his mother for a moment, before smiling and grasping Flash's hand. "Okay," he said, "you're all right. I do need your help." They all smiled and nodded, ready to take on this new threat to their world together. "With that out of the way," Celestia said, "we should get to work." "She's right," Luna said, "and the first thing we need to do is find a way to stand a chance against Mechano." "Yeah," Twilight said before turning to the Rangers, "you guys took the Guardroids down easy enough, but your weapons barely even scratched the Megabots and most likely will have even less effect on anything stronger." "Right," Lyra said, "we need a way to fight back." "I can help with that," Catherine said as she moved over to the lab. "I have the specs of all of Mechano's machines, which we can use to re-calibrate all your weapons so you can fight back." "Perfect," Micro said, "we'd better get to work." He, Twilight, Sunset and the principles moved over to the lab. "While they do that," Starswirl said, "I thing it would be prudent for Christopher to help you all train for your next confrontation with Mechano." "No problem," Chris said, "when I'm done you'll know every move programmed into those machines." "Righteous," Sandel said. "Lead the way Chris," Sweetie said. With that the group headed out to the gym, ready to learn how to fight against Mechano and his metal death machines. While this was happening, Mechano was back in his hiding place. After arriving in this universe, he'd sort out an abandon factory and had converted it into a makeshift lab to build his army up. Currently Mechano was sitting at a desk, Guardroids marching around him as they worked to repair his fallen minions. Now that he was out of his ship, it could be seen that his left leg had been replaced with a metallic one. Mechano did not look happy, as he was currently mulling over what had happened in his last battle. Suddenly he slammed his fists into the desk, the robotic one causing it to crack, as he stood up. "I can't believe he's here!" He yelled, "and no doubt Catherine is here as well. I have to find a way to stop him and the other Rangers before they ruin everything." Suddenly a Guardroid stepped up to him. "What is it?" Mechano asked. The robot replied, speaking in beeps and whirls that Mechano understood due to his robotic implants. "It's ready?" He asked in surprise. After the Guardroid nodded, Mechano rushed over to a corner of the factory. Once there, he stepped through the curtain that was keeping the things behind it from view and looked up at his finished creation. "Tremendous," Mechano said with an evil smile. He then reached up and pressed a button on his robotic temple, causing info to stream through his mechanical brain. Doing so caused him to frown. "Curses," he said, "even with the X Element, I don't have enough energy to power it and my forces." He stepped back out from the section and moved to another one, where what remained of the meteor's crystal core stood. The X Element which had once been the size of a house, after decades of overuse and abuse, had been reduced down to the size of an average man. Despite this, the X Element was still a constant form of energy though it was a thousand times less then it had once been. "I need something that equals your power," Mechano said, "but what? There has to be an energy source in this universe that can equal yours, but where?" He thought for a moment, then remembered what had happened earlier that day. "Those Rangers," he said, "their power was on the same level as the others. If I can find out what they use to power their tech and take it for myself, I can use it to power the project and use the X Element for my forces. I must capture one of them, but to do that I will need a robot with tremendous power...or five." With that he rushed over to another section for the factory, where he was keeping all the attack bots he'd brought to this universe. That section was filled with large metal tube like pods, lined up one by one. Moving through the rows, Mechano looked around for the ones he wanted. Finally he found them, five slightly smaller pods. They were red, blue, yellow, green and pink. Staring at the pods, Mechano once again pressed the button on his temple. "Awaken." The five pods activated, before the front of them slowly opened and released a stream of mist. Seconds later, five figures stepped out of the the pods. "I have a job for you," Mechano said. Back at the school, six of the eight Guardian Rangers were in the gym with the Red Revolution Ranger. The mane six, minus Twilight, were also there to watch. Currently they were sitting on the bleachers as Flash and Chris were on the mat, practising the hand to hand maneuvers he'd been showing them. "Remember," Chris said, "these robots are designed to follow patterns. Be to obvious with your attacks and you'll be an easy target." "Right," Flash said. With that, Lyra rang the bell and they began. Flash started with a few jabs, which Chris managed to block, followed by a right hook and a left leg strike. Chris however, manged to block each and every one of his moves. "Flash is moving to predictably," Shining said, "it's like Chris said. There's no way he can take those robots down like this." "Come on Flash," Rainbow said, "get the lead out." Flash tried another jab to the face, but Chris merely caught the teen's fist in his hand and then used it to pull him closer and knee him in the gut, before throwing him back on the mat. "Come on," Chris said, "I've seen you guys fight, you're better then that." The winded Flash managed to push himself back up, before turning back to Chris and raising his fist in a boxing manor. "Bring it," Chris said. Flash charged forward and threw a few more punched, which Chris decided to start dodging and cause Flash to grow annoyed. "Come on," he said, "stop trying to hit me and hit me!" Flash yelled and threw another punch towards Chris, who leaned back in order to dodge. However, it seemed as if this was Flash's plan. Using the force of his punch, Flash leapt up and did a front flip bring his foot down. With all his strength, Flash threw his right foot down and struck Chris with his ankle. The force was enough to knock Chris off his feet and make everyone flinch at the attack. Flash was the first back to his feet, before looking down at Chris. "How was that?" He asked. "Unexpected," Chris replied before smiling, "brilliant." Flash smiled and offered a hand to help him up, which Chris took to get up. "Great work Flash," he said once he'd dusted himself off. "Thanks," Flash said. "You were both great," Sweetie said. "Best hand to hand fight a've ever seen," Applejack said. "Hopefully this will help you in your fight," Rarity said. "And when you take that meany down," Pinkie said, "I'll throw you all a victory party." "Sounds like fun," Chris said. "I'm quite impressed by your fighting techniques as well," Shining said, "I've trained for many years but the way you fight is as if its hardwired into you." "I pretty much is," Chris replied as he sat down on the bleacher, "I've been training since I was eight years old, preparing to take on whatever Mechano threw at us when he arrived." "That's so sad," Fluttershy said, "children should be playing, not training." "I chose to do it," Chris replied, "we all did. We didn't have much in Hope, but it was better then nothing. We weren't gonna let Mechano take that away." Everyone frowned hearing this. It was as if Mechano had stolen Chris's childhood, forcing him to hide away from the world and spend his life working to become a hero. The Guardian Rangers took their roles seriously, but even so they still had lives outside of that. Being a Ranger was Chris's whole life." "Well don't worry," Soarin said, "with out help you'll take this freak down and put an end to his insanity once and for all." "Yeah," Rainbow said, "then all you'll have to worry about is what your gonna do once your world's safe." "Oh I already know about that," Chris replied, "I've been thinking about it ever since I started my training. All my siblings have." "Really?" Lyra asked, "what so you wanna do." "Well first there's Kade. He's a military man," he said, "no doubt he'll join Commander Ryn's troop when we're done. Then there's Dani, whose a great pilot, she's been considering going into search and rescue. Grant inherited the most of our parents brains, the guy could build a computer out of paper clips and strings. And then there's Val, when she's not training she spends her time looking after little kids. She'll probably work to educate the next generation of our world." "And what about you darling?" Rarity asked, "what are your prospects for the future." Chris seemed to need a moment to think about it. "Well," he said, "I've spent my whole life trapped inside a domed city. When this is all over, I think I want to go out and see the world. Who knows, maybe Hope isn't the only group of humans who survived. If their out there, I'd like to find them and help them rebuild." Everyone smiled and nodded. That was certainly a noble cause. Suddenly the doors of the gym burst open and Micro Chips rushed inside. "Guys!" He called out. "What is it?" Flash asked, "is Mechano attacking again?" "No," Micro replied, "you won't believe this. We managed to make contact with Chris's world." This caused Chris's eyes to go wide. "What?" He asked in disbelief, "are you serious?" Micro nodded. "After we finished tuning our weapons, we started working on a way to try and contact your team. By combining your mothers data with our own interdimensional knowledge, we were able to get a fixed location on your worlds point of origin and when we sent a single we got a response. The others are working to open a stable channel." Chris's face was one of major confusion. Obviously he didn't understand a word of what Micro had said, but he didn't care because he'd finally get to see the rest of his family again. "Come on," he said, "let's go." With that he rushed towards the entrance of the base, the rest of the group. When they arrived at the base, they saw the others gathered around the holotable which was projecting a static image. "How's it going?" Flash asked. "We're almost there," Twilight replied, "it's finding the right frequency that will completely pass between the dimensional void that's the problem." "Hang on," Sunset said, "I think something's coming through." She was right, as the static began to slowly flicker into an actually image. It was a man who looked like an older version of Chris, with greying hair and a pair of glasses over his eyes. "Dad," Chris said as he and Catherine smiled. "Hello," he said, "are you reading me?" "Yes we read you?" Catherine said. "Catherine," Ryo Davis said happily, "thank goodness. I'd hoped it was you sending us that signal." Suddenly he was pushed out of the way, replaced by five younger people. "Mom!" The male brunette wearing a blue jacket said, "Chris." "Hay Kade," Chris said, "having fun leading the team in my absence?" "I wish," Kade replied, "Dani won't do a thing I tell her to." "Well maybe if you asked nicely," the female brunette in a yellow jacket told him. "I'm surprised you managed to send an interdimensional beacon," a male brunette wearing glasses and a green jacket said, "the universe your in must be very high tech." "As high tech as ours Grant," Catherine replied, "it's thanks to our new friends that we were able to create it." "New friends?" A girl with black hair and wearing a pink jacket asked. They looked around and saw Flash and the rest of the gang. "Who are they?" A black haired boy in a silver jacket asked. "They, Aichi, are the Guardian Rangers," Catherine replied. "More Power Rangers?" Kade asked. "Yeap," Chris said, "and they've agreed to help us fight against Mechano." "That's good," Ryo replied as he squeezed into the front of the group, "until we can get the Dimensional Gate working, we can't send you any reinforcements." "Well now that you've got our dimensional signal," Twilight said, "you should be able to open a portal here once it's done." "Indeed," Ryo replied. In that second the image began to once again grow blurry. "Our signals beginning to fail," he said, "we're losing you." "Dad!" Chris cried as he got closer to the monitor. "Don't worry bro," Kade said, "you just keep doing what you're doing. We'll be there as soon as we can." "Good luck Chris?" Valarie said. "Don't do anything I wouldn't do," Dani said. "More like don't do anything she would do," Grant joked. "Be careful," Aichi said. "Don't worry," Catherine said, "we will." With that the image cut out and the group were left in silence. Chris sighed, before he felt a hand on his shoulder. Turning around he saw Flash smiling at him. "Don't worry," he said, "you'll see them again." Chris just smirked and nodded, before an alarm cut the moment short. "What's that?" Catherine asked. "Security alarm," Celestia explained. Twilight began typing at the computer, causing an image to appear on screen. It showed images of Guardroids and Megabots attacking Canterlot again, but they weren't alone. With them was an eight foot tall silver robot, with a dome shaped head and rocket shaped arms. "That's more advanced then before," Micro said. "It's Missile Wrist," Chris explained, "he's an attack bot that Mechano's sent against us a few times." "We'd better get out there," Flash said. "Wait," Twilight said as she types away and another screen appeared, showing Guardroids and Megabots attacking a different part of Canterlot. "Two attack points?" Lyra asked. "Mechano's favourite tactic," Catherine explained, "divide a conquer." "What's the plan?" Sandal asked Flash. Flash thought for a moment, then nodded. "Me, Lyra, Micro, Sweetie, Sandel and Chris will take out the group with the attack bot," he explained, "Soarin, Shining and Sunset will deal with the other force. There are no attack bots there so it won't need as many Rangers to deal with." "I'm going to," Rainbow said, "those Guardroids and Megabots won't stand a chance against my speed." "And my strength," Applejack said. "I'm going to," Rarity said. "Me three," Pinkie said. "I want to help to," Fluttershy said quietly. "And me," Twilight said, "our powers can help us deal with them." "Powers?" Chris asked, only for his and Catherine's eyes to go wide when Twilight levitated a nearby book to her hand. "Whoa," he said. "Okay," Flash said, "but listen to Shining okay." He turned to the Silver Ranger. "Think you can lead them." Shining nodded. "Alright," Flash said, "then let's get this done." "RIGHT!" The fourteen others said before they all turned and headed out, ready to take on whatever Mechano threw at them. > Mecha Rangers > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Canterlot was once again in a state of panic, at the hands of Doctor Mechano's forces. Guardroids and Megabots walked down the street, firing off laser blasts at anything that moved and or got in their way. Leading them was the attack bot Missile Wrist, who despite not having any lasers could still do a tremendous amount of damage to the city. "Attack!" It said as it raised one of its rocket shaped arms and pointed it at a nearby building, before the rockets literally shot off the robot. It flew through the air at high speed, before it struck the building with such force that it caused whole thing to shake and then collapse. The rocket was then retracted out of the wreckage, by a long cable that connected it to Missile Wrist and caused it to return to its original position on his arm. "Attack!" At that moment the six Rangers finally arrived at the area, looking over at the horrible destruction that Mechano's forces were causing. "This is horrible," Sweetie said as she looked around. "Someone needs to stop this," Sandel said. "Someone will," Chris replied, "us." "Got that right," Flash said, in that moment they arrived infront of the robots. Missile Wrist and his lackeys detected the six of them, scanning them with their facial recognition software and instantly realising who they were. "Rangers detected," Missile Wrist spoke, "protocol three eight five, destroy." "Not happening bolts for brains," Micro told him. "Lets scrap this oversized lawnmower," Lyra told the others. "YEAH!" They all said. "It's Morphin Time!" Flash called out as he and the others pulled out their Magi-Chargers and held them up. "Ready!" They clicked the button as their Morphin Blasters appeared, allowing them to place the chargers inside before shutting the slot. MAGI-CHARGERS...ENGAGED! "Energise!" They yelled spinning the barrel, before pointing the blasters to the sky. "Unleash the Power!" They all pulled the triggers and the five heads flew out before biting down on them, decking them out in their Ranger Suits. "Power Rangers," Flash called out as they posed and said together. "GUARDIANS!" Chris just smirked at them. "Nice," he said before taking up a fighting stance, "my turn." He held up his right hand, as a ball of red energy appeared above it. "X Element!" He crushed the ball in his hand, causing the energy to surge around it. He then pointed his hand up, using two fingers to point upwards. "Evolution," he brought his hand down and slapped the two fingers onto his morpher, "Revolution!" The energy flowed into his morpher, which activated and caused the red energy to fly around his entire body. The energy began to solidify into Chris's Ranger Suit, the only thing missing being his helmet. Chris then held up both his hands above his head, causing the remaining energy to converge between them and form his visorless helmet. "MET...ON!" He pulled the helmet down onto his head, causing it to attach to the rest of his suit. Finally the visor goggles flipped down, concealing his eyes and finishing his transformation. Chris took up a fighting stance besides the Guardian Rangers. "Revolution...RED!" The six Rangers stood in a line, the Red Rangers in the centre, staring staring down the robotic army which was standing before them. "You ready?" Chris asked Flash. "What are you kidding?" Flash asked as they watched the first wave of robots charge towards them. "I was born ready!" With that the six of them rushed at the robots, ready to put up the fight of their lives. "Magitech!" They called out as they summoned their gear. "Energy Blade," Chris said as he pulled out his rapier, "Energy Blaster!" He fired off a couple of shots, hitting the Guardroids dead centre and knocking them down. He followed this up with several quick slashes with his sword, cutting several Megabots in half. The rest of the Rangers began their assault against the robots. "Alright," Micro said as he blasted several Megabots down, "looks like the tune ups worked." He spun around, unleashing a flurry of laser fire which destroyed every robot around him. "These things don't stand a chance against us now." "Don't underestimate them," Lyra told his as she swung the bladed end of her Serpent Staff around, while using its mouth to grab the Guardroids and Megabots before throwing them into each other. "Remember, these things still managed to conquer an entire world." "She's right," Sandel said as he used his Spirit Sabre and Fenrir Fang to mow then down like grass, "lets take these things down." He reached a group of robots that all pointed their lasers at him, but he managed to slash each of their weapons off before cutting them down. Sweetie was being shot at by multiple robots, but her newly upgraded Sphinx Shield was able to protect her from their blasts and allowed her to get close enough to them for her to slash at them with her Spirit Sabre. "This is more like it," she said as she took them down. "I can't believe these things were such a challenge before." "Dragon Breaker!" Flash yelled as he thrusted his right fist into a Megabot, "Head Smash!" The Megabot went flying into another group of robots, knocking them down like bowling pins. "Remember to keep changing up your fighting style. Don't give them time to adapt." "RIGHT!" The others agreed as they continued fighting. "Great work guys," Celestia said as she, Luna, Starswirl and Catherine watched from the base. "Your Rangers are quite impressive," Catherine told them. "Thank you," Luna replied, "we work them hard." "How are the others doing?" Starswirl asked. "They're about to reach their destination," Celestia replied, "hopefully they can finish them off quick and help the main team when their done." Across town from where the others were battling, another group of robots was attacking. Despite not having an attack bot with them, the Guardroids and Megabots were still causing major destruction. Hopefully that would soon change, as the three remaining Guardian Rangers and the Mane Six had finally arrived at the scene. "There they are," Shining said as the spotted the robots. "Then let's crush these tin cans," Rainbow said as she pounded her fist into her hand. "I hear that," Soarin said, "I've been itching for a fight." "But be careful," Twilight told them, "we've all seen and heard what these things can do in great numbers." "She's right," Sunset agreed as she stepped forwards, "you guys handle the Guardroids and leave the Megabots to Shining, Soarin and me." The girls all nodded, as Soarin and Shining stepped forward. "Let's do this," Shining said as they pulled out their gear, "Magi-Chargers!" "Ready!" Sunset and Soarin replied as they held theirs out. They then clicked them as a pair of Morphin Blasters and Soarin's Thunder Morpher appeared. They then placed their Magi-Chargers inside before shutting the slots. "Energise!" They powered their morphers up before pointing them to the sky. "Unleash the Power!" Their morphers unleashed the heads of their Zords, which flew through the air and then bit down on them. In a flash of light, the three of them were decked out in their Ranger suits. The three Power Rangers and six magical girls stood in a line, facing off against the robotic army. "Let's do this," Shining said as he charged forward. "RIGHT!" The rest called out as they followed. The Guardroids and Megabots charged forwards, firing their lasers at the nine of them. "Thunder Sabre!" Soarin yelled as he called upon his bladed weapon, before using it to cut down the robots. Sunset meanwhile took out another Magi-Charger and clicked it. "Magi-Charger, ready!" She then placed it in her blaster. "Morphin Duel Blaster," she pulled the trigger, "activate!" Just like that the weapon was upgraded into the twin barrel form, which she used to blast multiple robots at once. Shining meanwhile was showing off his well homed martial arts skills, using them to knock down several enemies with well aimed kicks and punches. The Mane Six were also helping out. Twilight was using her telepathy to lift up several Guardroids at once, before throwing them towards the ground. They crashed with a colossal clang, causing them to literally fall apart. Pinkie was using her explosive sprinkles to knock them all back at a safe distance. She was so busy throwing them, that she didn't notice a Megabot standing behind her ready to fire. However in that moment, Pinkie dropped he sprinkle container. This caused her to bend down and pick it up, causing the Megabot's blast to fly over her and strike a Guardroid infront of her. Pinkie noticed this and turned to see the Megabot, who she waved at before throwing a load of sprinkles at. Applejack was using her super strength to simply rip the robots apart with her kicks and punches. Seeing a large group of them Guardroids running at her, she grabbed a nearby dumpster and tossed it at them, crushing them. Doing so revealed a cowering Fluttershy, who saw her hiding place was now gone and whined. "Ya'll right?" Applejack asked. "I love being able to talk animals," she replied, "but sometimes I wish I had a more...active ability." Applejack smiled at her, before noticing a nearby shovel and picking it up. She then handed it to her. "This might come in handy." Fluttershy smiled before taking the shovel. Rarity meanwhile was using her crystal shield ability to trap the robots inside a dome, before shrinking it until they were crushed into junkyard cubes. Rainbow meanwhile was zipping around the Guardroids, knocking them down or taking them apart. Looking around she noticed several Megabots trying to surround Soarin. Dashing over to them, she grabbed them all and then moved them until they were standing in a line infront of the Thunder Ranger. She then zipped next to him and smiled at him, a single look telling him what he needed to do. "Thunder Sabre Strike!" His weapon surged with electrical energy, before he swung the sword down and sending the lightning towards the robots. One by one the Megabots were struck by the attack, causing them to short circuit and explode. Seeing the smoking pile of scrap, Soarin and Rainbow fist bumped. While all this was going on, Mechano was watching for his warehouse laboratory. He had two computer screens, one showing the battle against Missile Wrist and one showing the battle with the Mane Six. He watched as Soarin used in lightning attack on the line of Megabots, growling as he watched his minions fall, but then he realised something. "Those girls," he said, "they're different from the Rangers and other humans of this world. What is it?" He pulled himself closer to that computer and began typing away, until the screen changed to something similar to thermal vision. "Interesting," he said as he sat back, "they're giving off the same kind of readings as those Power Rangers. They're not as strong, but maybe all six of them...yes." He reached up to the button on his temple and pressed it. "There's been a change of plans." Back with Flash's team, the last of the Guardroids and Megabots had been taken care of, leaving them to deal with Missile Wrist. "Last one," Flash said. "But this'll likely be the hardest one of the lot," Lyra told him. "Let's be careful," Micro said. "But let's win," Sweetie finished. "Righteous," Sandel said. Missile Wrist turned to the Rangers, ready to fight for all it was worth as it raised its two rocket shaped arms. "Here it comes," Chris said as he and the others got ready. The rockets fired at the Rangers, causing them to leap out of the way. The rockets then retracted back to the robot, as the Rangers stood back up. "Now's our chance," Flash said as he readied his weapons, "let's do this." "Right!" The others agreed. With that they charged towards the machine. Missile Wrist saw this coming and once again fired its rockets at them, but Flash was ready this time. "Sandel!" He yelled as he dodged the first missile and then grabbed hold of its cable. "Gotcha bro," Sandel caught on as he did the same, grabbing hold of the second cable. "Nice move guys," Chris told them, "leave the rest to us." "Fire," Micro said as he shot multiple blasts at the robot, causing it to start denting up. Missile Wrist however, decided it didn't like this and turned its attention to Flash and Sandel. It's robot eye glowed, before an electrical surge flew out its body and travelled down the cable. "What the?" Chris asked as he saw this. Flash and Sandel were so focused on holding onto the cables, that they didn't notice the surge until it was to late. "AAAARRRR!" They yelled as they felt themselves get zapped, forcing them to let go of the cable and allow the robot to retract its weapons. "GUYS!" Lyra and Sweetie yelled seeing this, only to be suddenly bashed by the rockets and sent flying. "That's not good," Micro said. Then he and Chris saw the rockets fly passed them, before they spun around them and wrapped them up. "This is worst," Chris said as they struggled to break free. Missile Wrist spun on its robotic heel, causing it to spin the Rangers around before releasing them and sending them flying. Chris and Micro yelled out as they soared through the air, before smashing into the ground infront of the rest of the Rangers. "Ow," Micro moaned. "This isn't going well," Sweetie said. "A little heads up on the electrified cable next time man," Flash told Chris as he got up. "It's never used that before," the Revolution Ranger replied, "Mechano's seriously tuned this thing up." "So how do we beat it?" Lyra asked. "I'm open to suggestions," Flash told them. "We could try surrounding it," Micro said, "two rockets against six of us. It can't hit all of us." "Right," Flash said, "circle formation!" They all nodded before Sandel, Sweetie and Lyra rushed at the robot. Missile Wrist fired its rockets at them, but the three dodged and then leapt over it to land on the opposite side. As the robot retracted its arms, its domed head spun a full three sixty to see itself surround by the six Rangers. Said Rangers each pulled out their blasters and powered them up, everyone but Chris placing a Magi-Charger in theirs, before pointing them at the robot. "FIRE!" Flash yelled, causing them to unleash their attacks at the robot. One by one their attack struck the robot, damaging its armouring enough for the it to detect a danger. Suddenly it pointed its arms it two opposite directions and fired the rockets, before spinning on his heel. Doing so caused the cables to whip around in a circle. "Whoa!" Flash and the others yelled as they ducked down to avoid the cables. "This things way smarter then its previous incarnations," Chris said as he and the others picked themselves up. "So what now?" Sweetie asked, deflecting a rocket fist with her shield. "Celestia," Flash said as he opened the coms, "any ideas?" However all we was getting was static. "Must be a jamming signal," Chris told him, "another of Mechano's favourite strategies." "So we've got no technical help?" Sandal asked, before dodging an incoming rocket fist. "Looks like it," Micro said, "but we can't give up." "He's right," Flash said, "no matter what we keep fighting." "RIGHT!" They yelled as they charged forward. Back with Shining's group, they were down to their last few opponent. "Almost done," Soarin said as he slashed another in half. "Good," Shining said as he kicked another one down, "think you can get them in one area. I've got an idea." "No problem," Rainbow said. "Leave it to us," Twilight told her brother. With that the two used their magic abilities to move the remaining robots into one large group, with Shining standing only a few feet away. "Alright," he said, "time to end this." Shining smashed his right fist into his left palm, as it glowed a silver light. "Power Ranger," he spun around and with all his might he punched the air," Ultimate Justice Punch!" From his fist fired a powerful burst of energy, which flew at the robots and struck them. Shining spun around, as an explosion occurred and consumed the Guardroids and Megabots. "Woowee," Applejack cheered, "that was a sight ta see." "Indeed," Rarity said. "We're not done yet," Sunset said, "Flash and the others need our help." "RIGHT!" They all agreed before turning to leave, however. "Wait!" They all stopped at the sound of Celestia over the coms. "We're still detecting Mechano's robots in that area." "You need to find them and deal with them," Luna finished. "But where are they?" Twilight asked. Unknown to them, standing atop a nearby building were five figures watching them. Back down bellow, the Rangers and girls were all planning out what to do when suddenly. BOOM! The nine of them were almost blown of their feet, as something crashed into the ground a few feet away. Doing so had kicked up a dust cloud "What was that?" Pinkie asked. "I don't know," Shining said as he and the other Rangers took up a fighting stance, "but be on guard." They all did, preparing for whatever it was that was about to come out of the dust. Finally the cloud faded and they saw what it was, before each of their eyes went wide. Back with Flash's team, they were still battling against Missile Wrist. "This is getting us nowhere," Lyra said. "We need to take this thing out," Sweetie said. "I've got an idea," Chris told them, "but it may involve two of you getting zapped." "Sounds like fun," Sandel told him. "I'm in," Flash said. "Good," Chris replied, "then grab those cables again and don't let go no matter what." "ON IT!" The Red and Green Guardian Rangers yelled as they charged forward. Missile Wrist saw them coming and once again raised its arms, before firing to rockets at them. Flash and Sandel didn't flinch seeing them coming, instead they simply side stepped away and then grabbed hold of the wires. Seeing this, Missile Wrist once again unleashed a surge of energy that struck the two. They cried out in pain, but this time they refused to let go. "Now's our chance," Chris said as he pulled out his Energy Blade. "Right," the Guardian Rangers said as they pulled out our own weapons. "Spirit Sabre!" Sweetie yelled. "Serpent Staff!" Lyra called out. "And as for me," Micro placed a Magi-Charger in his blaster and pulled the trigger, "Magi-Drill Blade!" The drill gauntlets appeared on his arms, ready to help him slice and dice. "Lets do this," Chris said as he charged forward, the Guardian Rangers following his lead. Rushing over to Flash and Sandel, they raised their weapons before swinging them down at the cable. Chris and Lyra struck Flash's cable, with Micro and Sweetie got Sandel's. With enough force, they managed to sever the cable and make Missile Wrist weaponless. "Alright," Flash said as he threw the cable away, "it might have been painful but it was worth it to disarm him." "Really?" Chris asked, obviously not amused by Flash's joke. Flash just smirked under his helmet, before turning back to the robot. "Let's end this," he said as he readied his gear. "Magi-Charger!" Flash said as he held up the device and clicked the button, "Ready. Guardian Buster, activate." He threw the Charger in the air before it transformed into the super weapon, which he caught and activated. Magi-Chargers," everyone said, as they activated their Chargers and placed them in the compartments before shutting them. "Locked and loaded." GUARDIAN BUSTER...RED CHARGE! As the weapon charged, the Ranger took their positions. "Guardian Buster, Dragon Blast...FIRE!" Flash pulled the trigger and a single powerful blast shot out, which morphed into the shape of the Dragon Zord's head. All Missile Wrist could do was watched as the flaming dragon head flew towards him and struck, causing an explosion which consumed the robot. As the watched the fireball, the Rangers all cheered seeing their opponent destroyed. Chris however wasn't cheering and was staring at the fire. "Don't celebrate to soon," he said, "these things don't stop as long as their in one piece." "What's to worry about," Flash told him, "that thing's scrap." However, in that moment the fire dissipated and they could see something inside it. Missile Wrist was still standing, badly damaged but in one piece. "No way," Micro said, "we trashed that thing." "I think it's about to get worse," Chris told them. "How much worse?" Lyra asked. "Danger," the robot spoke, "danger. Initiate Last Resort Protocol six, six, six." The robot began to glow. "INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION!" With that the robot exploded into a massive stream of light which began to take shape, before said light faded reveal a giant Missile Wrist. "No way," Flash said, "those robots can grow giant sized too." "They can," Chris told him, "this is bad. If only I had the Power Hauler." "Don't worry," Lyra told him, "we've got this." "Yeah," Sweetie said, "this isn't our first giant monster experience." "Let's go guys," Flash said as he and the girls took out their Magi-Chargers. "Magi-Chargers," they said in unison as they clicked the buttons before throwing them in the air, "summons Zords!" MAGI-CHARGERS...ENGAGED! The Zords activated and emerged from their hiding spots, before rushing to their Rangers aid. "Activate Guardian Megazord," the three said, "Sphinx-Serpent Formation." ZORDS COMBINED!. The three Zords linked together as the Rangers teleported into the cockpit, placed their blasters in the slots and readied themselves for battle. GUARDIAN MEGAZORD, SPHINX-SERPENT FORMATION...READY! Inside the Megazord's cockpit, the six Rangers warped inside with Chris the only one not on a podium. "Whoa," he said looking around, "this is way different from my Megazord. "Watch and learn," Flash told him as he and the others placed their Morphin Blasters in the stands and prepared for battle. "Ready?" "READY!" The others said as they to got into a battle stance. The Megazord and Missile Wrist stared each other down, ready to battle. Missile Wrist raised one of its newly repaired rocket fists, before firing it at the Megazord. Said Megazord held up its shield, blocking the rocket which flew back towards the robot. "Now," Flash ordered as they had the Megazord charge forward as it raised its other weapon. "Tail Sabre!" They yelled as they swung their weapon down, striking the robot and damaging it. Missile Wrist staggered back, before firing its over rocket. The Megazord once again raised its shield, blocking it but the robot fired its other rocket at them. "Look out!" Lyra yelled as the Megazord sidestepped to dodge, causing the rocket to fly into the ground. "Now's our chance," Micro said. The Megazord quickly turned to the cable connecting the rocket to Missile Wrist, before raising its sword and then swinging it down to cut the cable. The cable snapped, leaving Missile Wrist with only one rocket. "One down," Sweetie said. "And one to go," Sandel finished. Missile Wrist stared at the spot where its arm had been, before turning to the Megazord as it rushed towards him. It raised its last rocket arm and fire, but the Megazord dropped its weapons and grabbed the rocket. The robot saw this and tried to retract the rocket, but the Megazord held on for all it was worth. The two giant robots spent several second playing a game of tug of war, before finally the strain was to much and the cable snapped. "Nice," Chris said seeing this. "Now he's defenceless," Micro said. "Let's put an end to this," Flash told them, getting a node in agreement. The five Rangers moved and spoke in perfect sync. "Dragon Zord...Final Strike!" The Dragon's head flipped up and opened its mouth, as flames formed within. The fire shot out of its mouth and flew towards Missile Wrist, who was quickly consumed. "Error," it spoke, "error...errorrrrr." With that the robot succumb to the flames, exploding as it did. The Rangers all cheered seeing the robot destroyed. "Alright," Flash said. "That was tricky," Lyra said, "but we did it." "Sure did," Micro agreed. "RANGERS!" The six all jumped hearing Principle Celestia's voice scream through the coms. "Looks like the jamming signal's gone," Flash said, "we hear you." "You need to get over to Shining's team's coordinates," Celestia said, "we lost contact with them." The Rangers all shared a worried glance, beginning to worry about what might have happened to their friends. The Rangers rushed over to the area the others were suppose to be at, but when they arrived they couldn't find them. "Anything?" Flash asked as the others regrouped after they had split up to look. "Nothing," Sandel told him. "They've gotta be here somewhere," Sweetie said. "Wait," Chris said, "look!" He pointed to an area behind some buildings, where smoke could be seen floating up. "Oh no," Flash said. With that they rushed over to the area, but what they found when they got there was horrifying. The entire area had been completely destroyed. The pavement ripped apart, street lamps and others knocked down and several large pieces of debris scattered all over. "What happened here?" Lyra asked. "Some kind of big battle," Micro replied. "But who was fighting?" Flash asked. No way the Guardroids and Megabots could do this, so if Twilight and the others and caused this then what was it that made them do it...and where were they. Suddenly a loud groan caught their attention, causing them to turn to a pile of rubble and see it move. "Someone's under there!" Sweetie cried. "Come on," Flash told them. They rushed over to a pile of rubble and began to move it, revealing a severally injured and demorphed Shining Armor. "Shining!" Flash said as he took of his helmet and kneeled down to sit him up, "what happened to you? Can you hear me?" Shining's eyes creaked open, as he groaned. "Flash," he croaked out, "you've got...to save her." "Her?" Flash asked before looking around, "where are they others? Where's Twilight?" More moaning caught their attention, causing them to look around and see Sunset and Soarin, in a similar state to Shining, pull themselves out of the wreckage of the street. "Guys!" Micro said as he and Sandel rushed over to Soarin. "What happened?" Sweetie asked as she and Lyra moved over to Sunset. "We'd finished off the Guardroids and Megabots," Soarin explained in a pained voice, "but then something else showed up." "What?" Sandel asked. "They were like nothing we've ever seen," Sunset groaned, "so fast, so strong." "What were they?" Lyra asked. However, in that moment a new sound caught their attention. Multiple heavy footsteps, closing in from nearby. They all slowly turned to the source, seeing what it was and all gasped. No one was more shook then Chris, whose eyes had gone wide as saucers. "No," he said as he walked a few steps forward "it can't be." Flash too was amazed at what he was seeing. "They look like...Power Rangers." Truer words were never spoken. Walking towards them were five multicoloured individuals. They appeared to be wearing the same costumes as Chris, only instead of spandex their suits were full body armour. Each was a different colour, pink, green, yellow blue and leading them was a figure in red. The Guardian Rangers put down their injured comrades and moved over to the Red Revolution Ranger. "Chris," Flash said as he reset his helmet, "you know what these things are?" "Yeah," Chris replied, "I do. They...are the Mecha Rangers." "Mecha Rangers?" Micro asked. "Robotic duplicates of me and my siblings. Designed to be the ultimate Power Ranger killers...and they are." "Be careful," Soarin yelled to them, "even with nine of us fighting together, we didn't stand a chance against them." "He's right," Sunset agreed, "they blasted us back and then knocked the girls out. A bunch of Guardroids took them away." Hearing this made the Rangers all grow angry. "They'll pay for that," Flash said. "Guys wait," Chris said but the others didn't listen and rushed forward as they pulled out their weapons. The Mecha Rangers saw them coming and scanned them, determining their opponent's weapon before their arms opened up. From out of them came a pair of devices which flew into their hands, before unfolding and transforming into a bunch of different weapons. Green carried a pair of mechanical swords in its hands. Pink carried a mechanical shield and sword. Yellow carried a pair of futuristic blasters. Blue connected the two devices into a mechanical spear like weapon. Finally Red carried a sword and a blaster in his hands. Weapons in hand the Mecha Rangers charged at their Guardian Ranger counterpart. The two forces met and despite using the exact same weapons, the Mecha Rangers proved stronger. Sandel swiped at Mecha Green with his Spirit Sabre and Fenrir Fang, but the robot easily counted his attacks and managed to slash him twice down the chest. Sweetie tried to strike Mecha Pink with her Sabre, but the robot used its shield to block the attack before striking her with its sword. Sweetie tried to block which her shield, but Mecha Pink managed to out manoeuvre her and slash her. Micro used his Morphin Blaster and Griffon Shooter to try and blast Mecha Yellow, but the robot fired its own blasters to counter the incoming lasers. It then leapt in the air and kicked Micro, before spinning around and shooting him with its blasters. Lyra and Mecha Blue clashed with their weapons, pushing each other back. However the robots spear head began to spin as it moved it closer the Lyra's head, forcing the Ranger to jump back. This gave Mecha Blue the opening it needed to spin around and thrust the other end of its spear into Lyra's chest, sending the Ranger flying back. Flash and Mecha Red fought against each other in perfect harmony, slashing and blasting at each other the second the other did. Eventually Mecha Red managed to get the upper hand on Flash and knocked his blaster out of his hand, allowing the robot to blast the Red Ranger before delivering the powerful slash to his chest. The five Guardians Rangers were all knocked off their feet and landed on the floor with a groan. As they tried to pick themselves up, they suddenly found the Mecha Rangers standing above them. Before they knew what was happening, the five robots reached out and grabbed their foreheads. Suddenly the five screamed in pain as they felt themselves be electrocuted. "NO!" Chris yelled as he rushed towards them, but before he could get there the Mecha Rangers finished whatever they were doing and threw their counterparts away. The Ranger crashed to the ground as they were demorphed. "You alright?" Chris asked as he knelt down next to them. "I think so?" Flash replied with a groan. "We need to get out of here," Chris told him. "We're no match for them, especially now that they've downloaded you." "Downloaded?" Micro asked as he tried to pick himself up. "They did it the first time my team met them," Chris replied, "they scanned your mind and downloaded everything into themselves. They now probably know more about you then you do and they're gonna use it to destroy you." In that moment the Mecha Rangers had finished their update and were once again on the attack. "We have to get out of here," Chris told them. "There's no way we can beat them." "But Twilight," Flash began. "You can't help her if you get destroyed," Chris interrupted. "But I doubt they're just gonna let us leave," Lyra told him. She was right. They needed a way out, but how? Suddenly something flew passed them, laser blasts. They flew over their heads and struck the Mecha Rangers, knocking them back. Chris and the Guardian Rangers spun around, seeing the source of the blast and smiled. Walking down the street, blasters raised, were five figures wearing suits similar to Chris's except they were different colours. Silver, blue, yellow, green and pink Power Rangers stepped towards them. They all smiled seeing this. "Is that?" Sweetie asked. "Yeah," Chris said, "that's my team." The five Rangers rushed over to them, looking them over as they tried to help them up. "You guys look like you could use a little help," Aichi said as he and Chris helped Shining up. "Yeah," Chris replied, "glad to see you here." "Dad managed to fix the portal enough for the six of us to come through," Kade said as he and Grant helped Soarin up. "Six?" Lyra asked. The Mecha Rangers soon recovered from the surprise attack, before turning back to the Rangers. However in that moment, Commander Ryn leapt infront of them. "You're not going anywhere," he said as he placed a device on the ground and activated it. The Mecha Rangers looked down at it a realised it was an energy field generator, but it was useless on its own. However, as Ryn activated it, the device shot out a pair of green electrical chains which flew in opposite directions. Following the chains the robots saw them hit another pair of generators, one to their left and one to their right, which each fired off another chain that connected to a fourth generator behind them. Mecha Red reached out the try and grab Ryn, but he was suddenly stopped by an invisible barrier. "Come on," Ryn said as he rushed towards them, "that field won't hold long. We have to go now." The Rangers nodded before running away, off to lick their wounds and hopefully come up with a plan to defeat the Mecha Rangers and Doctor Mechano. > Power Rangers Unite > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Everything hurt. That was the first thought that popped into Twilight's head as she began to regain consciousness. As her eyes flicked open, she caught a glimpse of many Guardroids and Megabots walking passed her. "She's awake," she heard Rarity's voice to her left, making her focus enough to turn her head. Rainbow was on her left, with Rarity and then Pinkie next to her. The three of them were each strapped into a mechanical X shaped restraining board, their hands and feet strapped to one of the four points by robotic shackles. "You okay Sugarcube?" Applejack's voice made her turn to see her and Fluttershy to her right, both held by the same machine. Looking up she also saw she was strapped to one as well. "I'm fine," Twilight said, "but what happened?" "Those robotic freaks beat us," Rainbow growled, obviously sore about being beaten. "They were so powerful," Rarity said, "nothing we did even slowed them down." Twilight remembered now. Five robotic Power Rangers had appeared and attacked them, to strong for them all to take down. Her heart suddenly jolted as she remembered seeing her brother be thrown through a wall. "Shining?" She asked looking around, "is he okay? What about Sunset and Soarin?" "We don't know," Pinkie replied, her hair flat. "We haven't seen them." Fluttershy nodded in fear. "I remember seeing Sunset trying to fight off the pink one, but the robot swatted her away before it knocked me out." "So it's just us here?" Twilight asked as she looked up at the shackles holding her wrists. "Good, that means it'll be easier to escape once I get these off." Knowing what Twilight was about to do, the girl's eyes all suddenly went wide. "Twilight," Rainbow called out, "don't-" but it was to late and Twilight activated her magic. The second she did however, she suddenly felt a surge of electrical energy rush through her body and cause her to scream out in pain. It lasted for several long seconds, before the surge finally ended and Twilight slumped forwards as she panted for breath. "Are you okay?" Fluttershy asked. "Yes," Twilight groaned out, "but what happened?" "It happens every time these monstrosities detect magic," Rarity told her. "We already tried our powers," Applejack continued, "but the same thing happened." "These mean things won't let us do anything," Pinkie pouted. "So we're trapped?" Twilight asked. "I'm afraid so," Rarity replied. Rainbow meanwhile, was pulling at her shackles as she did everything she could to try and break it. "If I could just get one hand free." "Oh that won't be happening my dear." The girls all froze, before looking over at the source of the voice to see Mechano and the Mecha Rangers stepping towards them. "Those shackles are made from the same materiel as my Megabots. No ordinary human could possible break them." The girls all frowned at the cyborg. "We're not exactly on par with your ordinary human," Rainbow told him. "You are while your strapped into that thing," Mechano replied, "I inputted the unusual energy reading you six give off into it. It not only prevents you from using it, but it's also siphoning the background energy you're giving off." The girls all shared a concerned look hearing this. He had found a way to drain their magic, but what was he using it for? As if reading their minds, Mechano smiled before turning to a the Mecha Rangers. "Bring them," he said as he walked away. With that the five robotic Rangers and a Guardroid moved behind the girls and began pushing their restraint boards, which had wheels, to follow after Mechano. "I should really thank you ladies," he said as they travelled across the warehouse. "Thanks to the six of you, I can now power my ultimate weapon." "We'll never help you," Twilight told him. "Oh but you already are," Mechano replied. "I might not know what this unusual energy you generate is, but I do know it will allow me to conquer this world the way I conquered mine." "Our friends won't let you do that," Rainbow told him, still trying to break her restraints. "That's right," Rarity agreed, "they'll stop you, you...you cad!" Mechano simply chuckled, as they arrived at a part of the warehouse that was hidden by a sheet. "You friends don't stand a chance. They didn't even put up a threat for the Mecha Rangers, so how do you expect them to defeat this." With that, he grabbed the sheet and pulled it away. The girls all looked inside the room and gasped at what they saw. Mechano simply smiled seeing their horrified expressions. "When this is fully powered, there won't be anyone who can stop me." With that he laughed, before stepping into the room followed by the now all struggling girls. Back at the base, the mood was sour. The Guardian Rangers had just been bandaged up and were currently sitting at a table to rest and recuperate, but even so they weren't happy. Finally the silence was broken as Flash brought his fist crashing down onto the tabletop. "USELESS!" He cried as he stood up. "We're suppose to be the protectors our world, but we can't even protect our own friends. DAMN IT!" "Flash," Celestia said as she moved over to them, "you have to calm down." "Calm down!" Shining almost yelled at her, "how can we be calm! Our friends have been kidnapped and are having who knows what done to them, with one of them being my sister." "We'll save them," Luna assured the Silver Ranger. "How?" Lyra asked, curled up in her seat. "We didn't stand a chance against those Mecha Rangers." "They made vapourware out of us," Micro said. "How are we suppose to defeat something so powerful?" Sweetie asked. "Can we defeat something so powerful?" Sandel asked. "I'm not sure we can," Soarin answered sitting back and planting his head on the back wall. Sunset, the only Ranger not at the table, was at the computer trying to find their friends, but so far nothing was coming up. Growing desperate, she struck the keyboard so hard she almost broke it. On the other side of the room, Ryn, Catherine and the Revolution Rangers watched as their new allies feel further and further into depression. "This is bad," Kade said to his group. "Can you really blame them?" Valarie asked, "we went through something similar after we first met the Mecha Rangers." "She's right," Grant said. "Well unlike us," Dani said, "they don't have the luxury of sitting around moping. Not if they want to save their friends." "She's right," Aichi said. "Then we need to help them," Ryn said. "Okay," Chris said as he stepped towards them. "Okay, enough feeling sorry for yourselves. We've got work to do." The Guardian Rangers all looked up at him. "What do you want us to do?" Flash asked, "you saw what happened." "Yeah," Chris replied, "I saw you rush in and get your morphers handed to you." The others all became sombre hearing this. "You guys messed up, but that doesn't mean we just give up." Flash stared at Chris for several seconds, before sighing. "You're right, we can't let this stop us." "We have to do something," Lyra said as she and the others stood up. They moved over to the computer, which was now showing the battle against the Mecha Rangers. "Those things are super strong," Soarin said as he rubbed his shoulder. "I can still fell the punch that blue one gave me." "Catherine," Micro turned to the middle aged woman, "you must have defeated them before. How?" "It wasn't easy," Catherine replied. "Tell me about it," Dani said. "We've never been able to defeat all the Mecha Rangers," Kade explained. "The best we've done is pick them off one at a time through surprise attacks." "Except the Mecha Rangers have a constant link to Mechano's main computer," Grant said, "so when they were destroyed their artificial intelligence survived and were downloaded into his computer." "So Mechano was able to just implant them into a new body," Valarie said. "The only difference is they get upgraded each time they're rebuilt," Chris said. "The last time we beat them," Catherine continued, "we inputted a virus into Mecha Green and when we managed to destroy it the virus was uploaded to Mechano's system. We thought it had deleted the Mecha Rangers, but it seems Mechano managed to salvage them." "And now they're here," Flash said. "And not only do they kick butt," Sweetie said, "but they know everything about us." "They can predict our every move," Sandel said. "How are we suppose to fight against that?" Soarin asked. Seeing everyone was getting depressed again, Ryn stepped in. "Hey, I thought we agreed no feeling sorry. We're gonna find a way to beat them, along with a way to save your friends." "Commander Ryn is correct," Starswirl, who had been keeping to himself until now, said. "We will succeed, but how can we do so if we believe we cannot." "We should all rest up for now," Celestia said, "it's likely we won't find anything for a while and we'll need you all at full strength if we want you to be victorious." The Rangers all nodded, though they were unhappy about this, before the Guardian Rangers all turned and walked out the door. The Revolution Rangers all slowly left after them. Celestia, Luna, Starswirl and Ryn also headed out, leaving Catherine and Sunset alone. The Gold Ranger started typing away again, as Catherine gently moved over to another one and started working on something. They worked for several minutes until the mother of six finally broke the silence. "Are you okay?" Sunset's typing ceased, as she simply started at the screen. "I know it's hard," Catherine continued, "sitting back and watching as those you care about are in constant danger. Lord knows the number of times I've had to watch my children fight to save the world." Sunset sighed, before turning to her. "Yeah, it is hard. I had to watch as the closest thing I have to a family was taken away and I couldn't do a thing about it." "You must really care about them," Catherine said. Sunset nodded. "Before I was a Power Ranger, before I was...anything special, I did a lot of terrible things. Twilight...well not that Twilight, saved me from myself. They taught me what really mattered and help me become the person I am today." She turned to look at the gold crystal, resting in its bed. "If it wasn't for them, I's never have been worthy of being a Ranger." Catherine didn't understand a few bits of that, but she knew what Sunset was trying to say. "But when push comes to shove, I couldn't help them when it mattered." Catherine moved over to the girl and placed her hand on her shoulder. "No one's perfect. We're only human, we make mistakes and sometimes we fail. The only thing you can do right now is learn from those mistakes, so you don't make them again." Sunset let what Catherine said mull over in her head. "You can't change what happened before," Catherine continued, "all you do is keep trying and do your best. So...what are you gonna do?" She stared at Sunset for several moment as the girl stood there thinking, until finally the girl smiled. "I'm going to find my friends and then, we're gonna save them." "Atta girl," Catherine replied before they both turned back to the computers and restarted their work, now more calm and focused on the task at hand. Over in the gym, we find Shining wearing some training gear and repeatedly striking a punching bag. Again and again and again he punched it with all his might, while the image of his baby sister continued to appear in his head. Doing so made him even more angry, causing him to punch the target harder. Finally he punch the bag so hard, the force ripped it right off its chain and sent it flying across the room. Shining panted in frustration, seemingly unable to calm down. "Impressive." Shining turned to see Commander Ryn standing at the entrance of the gym. "You're obviously quite strong," he said as he moved over to where the bag had landed, before examining it to see what Shining's punch had done. "Not strong enough," Shining said as he moved over to where the rest of the school's punching bags were kept, before grabbing another one and pulling it over to where he wanted it. Ryn watched him for several seconds as he struggled to lift the heavy bag, until finally he moved over to him and helped lift it. "You can't blame yourself for what happened. I've seen the Mecha Rangers take down a whole army of my best soldiers, along with the Rangers." "It doesn't matter," Shining said as he started pounding at the new bag, Ryn keeping it steady. "Flash trusted me to lead them, but then I went a failed to protect them from the those monsters. Now my sister is who knows where and having who knows what done to her." "Your sister is fine," Ryn replied as he watched the Silver Ranger throw punch after punch. "I know Mechano and even though he's insane, he's not an idiot. He took your sister and her friends for a reason and as long as he has need of them, he won't do anything to permanently harm them." Shining sighed. Hearing this should have made him feel better, but it didn't. It only made him worry more at the terrifying thought of what Mechano could possible want with Twilight and her friends. "I'm suppose to protect her," Shining said as his punched became half hearted. "I swore I would always be there when she needed me." He remembered how Cadance had told him about the Midnight Sparkle incident, how his sister had been transformed into a monster and he wasn't there to help her. Then when he learned she was helping the Power Rangers, that had made him want to be a Ranger to keep her safe. "But I didn't." Ryn remained silent as he watched the young man stew, before moving over to him and grabbing his shoulders. He then began to direct him to the gyms seats, before making him sit. "I know how it feels, wanting to keep the ones you love safe but not being able to." "How could you know?" Shining asked, slightly harsher then he wanted. Ryn turned to him, a look a steely focus in his eyes. "I lost my younger brother in Mechano's first invasion." Shining turned to look him in the eyes, shocked to hear this. "It was before I was made commander and my brother Cam was just starting out in infantry. When Mechano first attacked and we were evacuating to the City of Hope, I was stationed at the gates while my brother's division was sent out to make a clear path for the civilians. Just before the Particle Barrier was raised, his troop returned but...Cam wasn't among them." Shining felt bad for what he had said before. This man had actually lost his brother, yet he was still going. Ryn stood up, before moving over to where the punching bag hung. "The pain I felt that day scared me, made me feel like there was nothing left to fight for...but I was wrong." He turned to look Shining in the eye. "I had to keep fighting, to make sure Mechano didn't rip apart any other families, the way he ripped mine apart. My brother would want me to keep fighting and I'm sure, that your sister would want you to keep fighting as well." He stepped over to him, before holding out his hand. "I swear to you, I will do everything in my power to help you save your sister." Shining stared at his hand for a second, before smiling as he took it and was pulled up to his feet. "You're right," he said, "I can't let this stop me. I have to keep going for my sister." "That's the spirit," Ryn replied before they moved back over to the punching bag. "Now, let me show you a few moves that might help you." Shining nodded, before turning his attention onto the bag. Out on the field, we find Soarin kicking a soccer ball around. He aimed it at the goal, before kicking the ball with all his might. It soared through the air, before hitting the goal post and bouncing back at him. He groaned before kicking it again, causing it to hit the post again. With a growl he kicked the ball one more time, causing it to fly so high that it went over the goal entirely. Soarin let out a frustrated yell, as he kicked the ground and caused grass and dirt to go flying before he sat down. On the sidelines, Aichi was watching him. He walked over to where the ball had landed, before picking it up and bringing it back to the Thunder Ranger. "Looks like fun," he said as he placed the ball on the floor, "wanna show me how to play?" Soarin looked up at him in surprise. "You don't know how to play soccer?" "Not a lot of sports in my world," Aichi replied, "even less in the future." Soarin thought for a moment, until he nodded and stood back up. For several minutes the two of them kicked the ball around, as Soarin explained the basic rules to Aichi. "So," Soarin said once they were in the swing of it, "you're really from the future." "Yeap," Aichi replied as he kicked the ball to him. "I spent my whole life on the run from Mechano. But once I discovered the Neo Morpher, I realised I could change the future and save my family." "Well," Soarin replied as he looked up at him, "I'm sure when you get back to your time everything will be better." He kicked the ball back to him, but Aichi simply stood there as the ball hit his feet. "Yeah," he said solemnly. This didn't go unnoticed. "You alright?" "Well," Aichi bent down and picked up the ball, "time travel's not exactly a known subject. There no knowing what kind of effect changing the past has on the future...or me." "What do you mean?" "I mean, that when we finally defeat Mechano the future I came from will no longer exist. That means that I might disappear and then be replaced by an entirely different Aichi Davis." "So you'd just cease to exist?" Soarin asked. "It's possible," Aichi replied. Soarin wasn't sure how to respond. He knew his actions were putting his ever existence at risk, but even so he was still working to change the future. "Whoa," he said, "I don't think I could do that. Change the future knowing I might be erased." Aichi just nodded, before throwing the ball at the teen. "I admit it was scary when the thought first entered my head, but then I remembered everything I went through before travelling back. I realised that even though I might disappear, I won't be completely gone. I'll live on in my younger self and the memories my family have of me." Hearing this made Soarin smile, before dropping the ball and kicking towards the goal. Aichi was on his heel, ready for his first game of soccer. In one of the classrooms, we find Sandelwood sitting on the floor meditating. "Hummmmm," he said as he tried to clear his head, "Hummmmm. Hum-mow what's the use." He uncrossed his legs and jumped up onto his feet, before moving over to where he'd placed the desks he'd moved and began rearranging them. The door opened and Grant stepped inside, seeing Sandal and walking over to him. "Hey," Grant said, getting his fellow Green Rangers attention. "Oh hey," Sandel replied. Grant moved over and began helping put the desks back. "You okay?" "I guess," Sandel said, "though I'm finding it hard to open my chakra." "I see," Grant said. "Sorry," Sandel told him, "you don't want to listen to stuff you don't believe in." "On the contrary," Grant replied, "I do." "You do?" Sandel asked, "but the way you act and talk, I figured you'd be more like Micro." "If you mean I believe in science and reasoning, I do, but that doesn't mean I don't also believe in the supernatural." "Really?" "Indeed," he replied, "in fact, the supernatural is something I have great interest in. A long time ago humanity believed the sky was blue because the gods painted it, until someone discovered the true reason. I believe that magic and other stuff does exist, but we just don't understand it." "Makes sense," Sandel replied. "Besides," Grant held up his hand, before it sparked with green energy that Sandel guessed was X Energy. "Most people would say what I can do was magic, because they don't understand it." Sandel smirked before thinking for a moment. "You wanna try meditating?" Grant just shrugged. "Sure, sounds interesting." Sandel nodded before the two began rearranging the desks once again to give them more space. In the schools kitchen, we find Sweetie wearing an apron with a bunch of baking equipment around her. Valarie stepped inside and saw her, before smiling, grabbing a nearby apron and stepping over to her. "What we making?" "Not sure," Sweetie replied, "something...anything." "Alright," Valarie replied before grabbing her cook book and flipping it onto a random page. "Here we go, lemon cake." "Yeah sure," Sweetie replied, "whatever." As the to began to bake, Valerie watched as Sweetie mixed the ingredients into her bowl. "So," she asked, "you okay?" "I'm fine," Sweetie replied as she cracked open another egg to put in the mixture. "You sure?" Valarie asked, "because your being overly aggressive with that mixture." She pointed to the bowl, causing Sweetie to actually look down and see the mixture was done and she had been beating it longer then necessary. "Sorry," she said as she handed to bowl to her Ranger counterpart. "It's fine," she said, "your worried about your friends. It's okay to be." "It's times like this I wish for the days before I'd met any of them," Sweetie said. "You don't mean that," Valarie told her. Sweetie just sighed, before nodding. "You're right, I don't. I never want to go back to before I met them." "It can't have been that bad. You're what, seventeen...eighteen?" Sweetie just smirked as she folded her arms. "I'll be turning a hundred and ten soon enough." Valarie laughed at what she thought was a joke, until Sweetie's serious face made her realises she wasn't kidding. "You're serious?" She looked at her more closely. "What's you secret?" "Bonding to a magical jewel from another world, that stopped me ageing until I met Starswirl." "Arr," Valarie replied, "so no cream?" The two girls laughed, Sweetie's worries now completely forgotten, before returning to the baking. Shifting rooms to the actual cafeteria, we find Micro with his laptop. Currently, he was going over the battle footage of the Mecha Rangers and trying to find a possible weak spot. However, so far nothing he did seemed to reveal an answer. "Come on," he said as he pushed his glasses up to his forehead and rubbed his eyes, "there has to be something I can do." "Never thought I'd see a Yellow Ranger fawning over a computer." Micro replaced his glasses and saw Dani stepping over to him. "I like computers," he said, "got a problem with that?" "Not at all," Dani replied as she sat down across from him, "I've actually got a lot of respect for you eggheads. My twin brothers the smartest guy I know. Sometimes I wish I could be that smart." Micro just scoffed at her statement, before turning back to the computer. "Yeah sure. Say that again, when you have everyone looking to you and your big brain to come up with an answer for everything." He sighed as he sat back and stared at the ceiling. "Sometimes I wish I could swap my Element with someone else, to be brave or strong or selfless. So I wouldn't have this nagging feeling of always having to come up with the answer." Hearing this Dani simply let out a loud chuckle, getting Micro's attention. "What's so funny?" "Just the fact that you're are wishing to get rid of the one thing everyone else would kill for." Dani stood up and walked around the table, arriving next to him and spinning his chair until he was facing her. "Listen," she said as she grabbed his head and made sure he was looking her in the eyes, "never wish away your intellect. There's a reason you were given it, because you're the best one to use it. Now stop moping and get back to work, because everyone's counting on you." "Alright," a very scared Micro replied. "Good," Dani said as she let go and then walked off. "I'll get you some brain food." In one of the corridors, we find Lyra had fallen on her old standby...cleaning. She was currently mopping the floor and had been scrubbing the same spot for almost five whole minutes now. "Not bad." She looked up to see Kade leaning on a nearby wall. "Clean the rest of the place that thoroughly and you should have to worlds cleanest school by the time you're done...in five years." "Funny," Lyra said before continuing her work. Kade noticed another mop leaning against the wall, which he grabbed and dipped in the bucket before he began helping. Seeing this made Lyra roll her eyes. "You don't need to do that." "Beats doing nothing," Kade replied. "Fine," Lyra said before smirking, "you missed a spot." Kade looked up at his Ranger counterpart, before raising an eyebrow. "Where?" Lyra's smirk grew, before she brought the mop up and shoved the head of it in his face. "Right there." Kade knocked the mop head away, before wiping his face of the water. Once that was done, he smirked as his eyebrows narrowed. "It's is so on." He brought his mop up to swat her in the face, but Lyra used hers to block. The two mops sprayed water everywhere, but they didn't care. They were having to much fun. Up on the roof, Flash was sitting against the glass watching as the sun began to set. Feeling a presence he looked up and saw Chris, who was also staring at the sunset. "Beautiful isn't it," the Red Revolution Ranger asked, "I'll never forget the first time I saw the sun when I first came here." "How is it any different from your worlds sun?" Flash asked. "It probably isn't," Chris replied, "but my world's atmosphere is so polluted that the only part of the sun you get to see are the rays that break out through the clouds every now and then. Hope's virtual sun can't compare to the real thing." "If you say so," Flash said. "Don't take your world for granted Flash," Chris said as he turned to him. "It might not be perfect, but it could be a lot worse." "I know," Flash said. "If Mechano wins," Chris went on, "your world's fate will mirror ours. That's why we can't let him win, that's why we need to keep fighting." "I know," Flash repeated, "but sometimes it feels like I shouldn't be the one fighting." Chris was confused by this. "When I first became a Power Ranger, I thought it was my chance to do something incredible. No more sitting on the sidelines cheering the heroes on. But then I was made the leader and all the responsibilities were placed on my shoulders. I often wonder if the team would be better without me on it. With someone better suited to lead them." He then looked up at Chris. "Someone like you." Chris smiled, before shaking his head no. "What makes you think I'm such a great leader?" "You're a natural. You've been preparing to lead your team almost your whole life. You've been leader for three years and in that time you haven't lost any of your team." "Maybe," Chris replied, "but that doesn't mean I'm a great leader. You're right, I have been leader for three years. I've been facing off against Mechano for a long time." He then sat down next to his Ranger counterpart. "But Mechano's still around. If I was such a great leader, I would have beaten him long ago." "He's powerful," Flash told him. "From what I've seen and heard, your enemy was pretty powerful, but you still beat them." "Maybe," Flash replied, "but now this happened." "Yeah," Chris said, "you got beat, it happens to everyone. But that shouldn't make you feel weak. The way I saw you lead your team against Missile Wrist, that impressed me." "You were the one who figured out how to beat him." "Only because I've faced him before. You would have found a way to do it eventually." Flash didn't reply to that. "You're wrong about something as well," Chris went on. "I'm not a natural leader." "What?" "You said it yourself, I've been preparing to lead my team my whole life. I doubt I'd be as good as I am, if I'd just gone into this Ranger stuff right off the bat." He then turned to Flash. "You however, you became the leader as soon as you learn you were a Ranger and you took to it like a fish to water. If anyone's the natural, it's you." Hearing such a complement, especially from someone who knew what he was talking about, made Flash's heart leap. Nothing more was to be said. The two Red Rangers continued to watch as the last of the sun disappeared bellow the horizon. Mechano sat at his desk, as a computer infront of him showed the process of his creation's charge. "Eighty three percent," he said, "I'm running out of time. No doubt Catherine and those Rangers will find a way to discover my location. I need to slow them down, but how?" He thought for a moment, before a smile appeared on his face. "By exploiting their greatest flaw, protecting others." Back at the school, the Rangers had all gather back at the base. Right now they were watching as Sunset and Catherine were working on something. "So you think you can find the girls?" Flash asked them. "Yes," Sunset replied, "by readjusting the E-Tector, we can scan the whole city for their Geode's magic signature. Once we find it, we can launch a rescue mission." "And if we run into the Mecha Rangers?" Soarin asked. "We'll have to keep thinking about that," Sunset replied. "One problem at a time," Ryn said before turning back to them. "How long until you can do this scan." "I don't know," Sunset said, "we don't exactly have their magic signature one file." "We'll have to make it scan for any kind of magic," Catherine said. However, in that moment their computers turned to static. "What's going on?" Flash asked. "I don't know," Sunset replied, "I think someone's hacking into our system." Suddenly the computers stopped to static and showed the image of someone they all recognised. Mechano. "Greetings," he said, "I hope I wasn't interrupting anything important." Everyone glared at him, obviously not happy about seeing him. "Oh, why so serious?" "WHERE'S MY SISTER!" Shining almost screamed as he stepped forward. "I want and answer, NOW!" "Oh relax," Mechano said, "she and the others are perfectly safe." He reached over and spun the camera around, showing the six girls in their restraints. "See." Everyone grew tense seeing them like that. Twilight and the girls saw the camera pointed at them, before trying to cry out. However, Mechano turned the camera back to him before they could say anything. "If you hurt them?" Flash threatened the mad scientist. "They're useless to me damaged," Mechano replied, "stop fretting." "Enough games Mechano," Chris said. "Oh," Mechano said as he turned to the Red Ranger, "is that anyway to talk to your uncle boy." "UNCLE!" Everyone but Catherine and the Revolution Rangers cried out. "That would have been nice to know," Sandel told them. "It's not something we're exactly proud of," Grant replied. "Oh," Mechano said, "so you haven't told them. That before I was the brilliant Doctor Mechano, before Catherine and my no good brother betrayed me, I was Doctor Christopher Davis...the man your gallant Red Ranger is named after." Chris and the rest of his team looked down in shame, until Flash placed his hand on the Red Rangers shoulder. "That doesn't matter," he told them. "We trust you, despite who you're related to." Chris smiled, before turning back to the computer. "You can't split us apart Mechano. If that's what you're trying to do then forget it." "On the contrary," Mechano replied, "I came to tell you that this little relationship we have will be coming to an end soon. I have chosen to send my entire army out, to level the city of Canterlot and enslave its populace. I'm telling you this because no matter what you do, you will not be able to stop them. By noon tomorrow you will either be dead, or kneeling at my feet begging me to spare your lives." Everyone frown at the psycho's overconfidence. "My army attacks at sunrise. I look forward to seeing your pitiful attempts to stop me." With that, the connection was cut and the computer returned to static. Everyone took in what Mechano had just said. "Sunrise," Dani said as she turned to the others, "how long until then." Micro checked the time on his phone, before turning to them. "Just under and hour." "Great," Shining said, "now what do we do?" "We thank Mechano for blabbering on," Sunset replied with a smile. "Come again?" Lyra and Kade asked, before glancing at each other. "While my demented brother-in-law was talking," Catherine explained, "we ran a trace on his signal. We managed to get a location just before he cut the call." Now they were talking. "So what are we waiting for," Sweetie said, "let's go save the others. "And take Mechano down," Valarie finished. Everyone seemed to up for that plan, but Flash had other ideas. "Hang on," he said, getting their attention. "I admit going to get the girls now sounds like a good plan, but Mechano will have home field advantage. Plus all his troops will be there." "So what are you saying?" Aichi asked, "that we leave your friends where they are?" "No," Flash replied, "you heard what he said. He's sending out his entire army, meaning his base will be unguarded." "So we wait until he sends the troops out," Ryn said, "then attack him directly." "But then the town and who knows how many people will be destroyed," Celestia said. "This is a conundrum," Luna said. "What do we do?" Catherine asked. "We split up," Flash said, "two groups. One meets the attacking force and keeps the town safe, while the others will go after Twilight and the others." Everyone liked the sound of that. "So who does what?" Soarin asked. In that moment, Shining stepped forward. "I'm going after Twilight. I have to." "Me to," Sunset said as she stepped forward. "I need to save them." "Alright," Flash agreed, "then the rest of us will take care of the robot army." "I'll go with Shining and Sunset," Ryn said, "they'll need all the help they can get." They all nodded at this, glad they finally had a plan. As the sun began to rise above the horizon, the City of Canterlot was just waking up. However, unbeknown to them they were all in great dangers. An army of metal was matching towards the city, Guardroids and Megabots side by side ready to level the place to the ground. Right now they were about to reach a bridge which would lead them into the city, but instead of doing that, they came to a stop right before they were about to step on it. The reason they stopped was because they saw twelve figures, whose were nothing but dark blurs due to the sun behind them, standing in a line in the centre of the bridge. Finally the sun's rays moved enough for them to be shown in all their glory. Flash, Chris, Lyra, Kade, Micro, Dani, Sweetie, Valarie, Sandel, Grant, Soarin and Aichi stood side by side as they face off against the mechanical army. Flash and Chris glanced at each other, before nodding and turning back to the army. "Are you guys ready?" Flash asked as he took out his Magi-Charger. "READY!" The eleven other rangers cried. "MAGI-CHARGERS!" The Guardian Rangers called out as they activated them, before placing them in their morphers "X ELEMENT!" The Revolution Rangers cried out as they each generated a different coloured ball of energy in their hands, which they then crushed to cause the energy to flow through their hands. "ENERGISE!" Everyone but Soarin said as they spun the barrels of their Morphin Blasters. "EVOLUTION!" Everyone but Aichi raised their right hands up, using two fingers to point upwards. "UNLEASH THE POWER!" The five Guardian Rangers pointed their blasters to the sky and each pulled the trigger. "REVOLUTION!" The five Revolution Rangers brought their hands down and each slapped the two fingers onto their morphers. Soarin and Aichi were the last the morph, doing so at the same time. "Unleash the Power!" "Neo Power!" And just like that the bridge was illuminated, as the twelve Rangers were each consumed by the energy and morphed into their battle suits. "MET...ON!" The Revolution Rangers called out as they brought their helmets down. Finally the light faded and the robots saw the twelve fully morphed Power Rangers standing before them, before each taking a battle stance. Flash: Element of Courage...Power Ranger, RED! Lyra: Element of Trust...Power Ranger, BLUE! Micro: Element of Knowledge...Power Ranger, YELLOW! Sweetie: Element of Love...Power Ranger, PINK! Sandelwood: Element of Will...Power Ranger, GREEN! Soarin: Element of Selflessness...Thunder Ranger READY!" All: Power Rangers...GUARDIANS! Chris: Revolution, RED! Kade: Revolution, BLUE! Dani: Revolution, YELLOW! Grant: Revolution, GREEN! Valerie: Revolution, PINK! Aichi: NEO RANGER! All: Power Rangers...REVOLUTION X! Flash and Chris: Power Ranger...UNITE! In that second a massive explosion occurred behind them all, highlighting just how epic things were about to get. "ATTACK!" Every single robot said in unison as they began charging towards the Rangers. "No matter what," Flash said, "we don't let them get passed us and into the city. LET'S DO THIS!" "RIGHT!" Everyone else called out as they pulled out their weapons and charged forward. The two forces drew closer and closer, ready for this final battle. > The Final Battle Begins > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Meanwhile on the far side of town. Shining, Sunset and Commander Ryn arrived at the location they had tracked Mechano to, a group of rundown old factories and warehouses. The suited up Rangers and military official drove up to them on the Ranger's Guardian Cycles, before pulling up infront of the first building. "Is this it?" Shining asked as he turned to Sunset, who pulled out their portable computer. "The signal's originated from somewhere near here," Sunset replied as she and the men got off their bikes. "So many buildings," Ryn said as he looked around. "It could take hours to check them all." "Maybe," Sunset replied with her computer beeping, "but only one of them has been siphoning the city's power supply." She rushed off towards the location her computer gave her, followed by Shining and the commander. Eventually, they arrived infront of one of the larger factories. "This is it." "Good," Ryn said, "then let's get ready." The Rangers looked around and saw Ryn begin to fiddle with the metal device on his chest, which then began to beep and display '15%' on its screen. In that second a blue aura began to surround the Commanders body. "What is that?" Shining asked. "Miniature Particle Barrier Generator," Ryn replied as he readied his pistols. "Powered by the remaining fragment of the X Element. It's got enough power to form an almost impenetrable field around my body, but the bigger the field the more pressure it puts on the fragment and less time it will last." "So fifteen percent makes that?" Sunset asked as she pointed to the blue aura. "What happens when it goes to a hundred percent?" The particle barrier will be indestructible," Ryn replied. "But the crystal will likely shatter after a few seconds." "Then lets hope we don't need anything above fifteen," Shining said as he and Sunset pulled out their weapons. "Be prepared for anything. Mechano said he sent his whole army, but I doubt he'd leave his base completely unguarded." Ryn and Sunset nodded, before turning to the door. Just like that, Shining kicked it in and the three of them rushed inside. Just like Shining had said, several Guardroids and Megabots were actually inside and once they saw them, they opened fire. "Charge!" Ryn ordered as they rushed forward, blasting their way through the sentries and delving deeper into the building. Shining and Sunset jumped all over the place, dodging the incoming laser fire and shooting back at whatever targeted them. Ryn meanwhile simply walked through the factory as the robots fired at him, but the blasts bounced off the energy shield and sometimes struck a nearby enemy. Eventually the last of Mechano's security was destroyed and the three stepped into the centre of the building. "Alright Mechano!" Shining called out. "Your defences are gone, now show yourself and release my sister!" No answer. "He's here somewhere," Ryn said. "But where?" Sunset asked. "And if the girls are here, wouldn't they have called out to us?" "Unless," Shining said before freezing as he realised. "It's a trap!" As soon as he said that it happened, the doors they had kicked in closing before being covered by a layer of metal. "NO!" Ryn cried out as they rushed towards the door, but when they were there they couldn't find any way to open it. "Stand back!" Sunset said as she pulled out her Duel Morphin Blaster and fired it at the door, but her blast didn't even singe it. "Now what?" Shining asked, but before anyone could answer they heard the sound of deep laughter. Mechano's voice was being played over a speaker system. "Mechano," Ryn said, "where are you?" "Not there," Mechano replied. He, the Mane Six and the Mecha Rangers were in a robotic room, watching the group on a computer. "You think I'd send a message to you, knowing you'd try and trace it, from my real base of operations. You're almost ten miles away from my true base. But don't worry, I left a small parting gift for you." "Shining!" Twilight called out, "get out of there!" The three were trying to break through the door, but their efforts were interrupted by a new sound filling the room. It was a loud beeping noise, growing louder each time it happened. "What is that?" Sunset asked. "Look!" Shining yelled as he pointed to one of the factory support beams. On that support beam was a round device that had a counter on it, the numbers showing less then thirty seconds. Looking around they say multiple devices on every single support beam. "Are those what I think they are?" Ryn asked. "It's like I said," Mechano's voice told them. "It's your parting gift, in that it will part you...into many...MANY...pieces!" "He's rigged the whole place to blow!" Sunset screamed. "Can't we stop them?" Shining asked. "There's too many," Ryn replied, "and not enough time to disarm them all." "Any last words?" Mechano asked them, as the counter drew closer to zero. "Twilight," Shining called out, "if you can here me, don't worry. Flash and the others will save you." "Don't let this freak get the better of you," Sunset told them. "You might not be Power Rangers, but you can still do your part against him." "How touching," Mechano replied, "truly great last words. Goodbye." With that, the beeping sound reached its loudest point as the devices count down reached zero. KABOOM! "NOOO!" Twilight screamed as she and the others watched the screens feed go dead, as the camera was destroyed in the blast. Mechano burst out laughing, as he spun in his chair and watched the six teenage girls begin to cry. "Two down!" "You're a monster!" Rarity cried. "You won't get away with this!" Rainbow told him. "The others will stop ya!" Applejack yelled. "Oh really," Mechano replied. "Yeah," Pinkie said, "they're not gonna lose to a creepy old man like you!" "We'll see about that," Mechano said as he got up and turned to the Mecha Rangers. "Keep an eye on them. Whatever you do, don't let them do anything funny." The five robotic Power Rangers all bowed to their creator, as he turned and walked out the door. Once it shut behind him, they turned to stare at the girls. "Twilight," Fluttershy asked her crying friend, "are you gonna be alright?" Twilight didn't reply, to heartbroken over the loss of her brother and best friend. "Flash," she whispered under her breath, "please...help." Not to far away, the twelve Rangers were doing battle against Mechano's forces. The had pushed their opponents back away from the city and towards the edge of the industrial area they had originated from. Now they were battling them in teams of two. "Take this!" Flash yelled as he used his Dragon Breaker to smash a Megabot into a Guardroid that Chris was fighting, allowing the Red Revolution Ranger to slash them both to scrap. "And this!" Chris yelled as he pulled out his blaster and fired several rounds into a Guardroid running up to Flash from behind, slowing it down long enough for the Red Guardian Ranger to spin around and kick it into a ground of Guardroids. "Head Smash!" Flash called out as he jumped at the cluster and launched his armoured fist forward, destroying all the robots in a single bound. Chris was now fighting a group of Megabots, using his Energy Blade slash them at different angles until they were joined into one group. "Blast Cutter!" He yelled as his two weapons glowed. He then fired a extra strong laser blast towards the robots, before slashing his blade through the air and striking the blast. The combined force sent the two united attacks flying at the Megabots like a bullet, before it struck them and caused an explosion. As Flash changed weapons and pulled out his sword and blaster, the two Red Rangers stood back to back and fought in perfect harmony by blasting and slashing at their opponent. At no point did the two get in each other's way, acting as if they shared one mind by moving out of each others way without even looking. In another part of the industrial estate, an area filled with large metal pipes, Lyra and Kade were working together as well. Lyra leapt into the scene, cartwheeling her way into the centre of the robots while Kade was pushing his way through. "Serpent Staff!" Lyra yelled as she called upon her weapon and began spinning it around her body, slashing the Guardroids and Megabots down. "Prism Punch!" Kade yelled as the metallic gloves appeared around his fists, allowing his to smash and uppercut through the robots. "Take this!" He yelled as punched a Megabot so hard, that it went flying and ricocheted off one of the large pipes that was in the air. Lyra swung the blade of her staff at another Megabot, making a large gash in its armour, before spinning the weapon around and using its mouth to hook into the gash. "Heads up!" She cried before throwing the robot overhead, sending it flying towards her Ranger counterpart. "Oh yeah!" Kade yelled as he leapt into the air, before smashing the robot with both fists. The force sent the robot flying back towards the ground at such speed, that when it landed the explosion took out several nearby Guardroids. Kade landed next to Lyra and saw several more robots charging at them. Glance at each other, they nodded before rushing towards them. Atop the roof of one of the factories, Micro and Dani were battling a bunch of Guardroids. Dani was using her Energy Blade to slash them down, but was quickly finding herself outnumbered and outmatched. Micro was using his Morphin Blaster to shoot his opponents down, but also had his Spirit Sabre to counter anything that got to close. Looking around, Micro saw Dani getting surrounded and realised she needed some help. Dani had just sliced another Guardroid down, but suddenly a presences behind her made her look around and see a Guardroid getting to close. Before she could react however, the Guardroid ceased up and then collapsed, allowing the Yellow Revolution Ranger to see the Spirit Sabre in its back. Looking over to Micro, she saw him give her a node as he fought off his own opponents. Dani realised what he wanted her to do, making her smile beneath her helmet. Seeing some more Guardroids coming at her, Dani only had time to grab her blaster and throwing it wildly in the air, before pulling the Spirit Sabre out of the downed robot and using it to slash at its friends. Seeing her blaster falling back towards her, she spun around the kicked the weapon towards the Yellow Guardian Ranger. Micro saw the blaster coming and kicked over a nearby Guardroid, before spring boarding off it into the air. He grabbed the blaster and did a back flip, before unleashing a barrage of laser fire on the Guardroids. They struck and the robots were destroyed, as Micro landed and found himself back to back with Dani. "You ready?" She asked her Ranger counterpart as the Guardroids surrounded them. "You have to ask," Micro replied as the robots charged. The two started fighting together, Micro firing his two blasters to thin out the herd while Dani slashed down the ones that got too close. Meanwhile in a courtyard between a bunch of buildings, Sweetie and Valarie were fighting off a large group of robots. Sweetie had her sword and Sphinx Shield, while Valarie had her blaster and sword. The two Rangers were charging towards a group of Megabots, who all had their shoulder mounted blasters aimed at them. "Sphinx Shield!" Sweetie yelled as she jumped infront of Valarie, before the robots unleashed their onslaught. "Block!" She raised her shield and used it to protect herself and her Ranger counterpart, as the laser blasts bounced off her weapon. Once they stopped firing Sweetie ducked down, allowing Valarie to begin firing her own blasts at the robots. One by one they were shot down, allowing the Pink Rangers to continue forwards. "Take this!" Sweetie yelled as she slashed at them, once in a while using her shield to block the attacks coming her way. "Prism Kick!" Valarie cried out as her feet were encased in the metallic boots, which she used to send several Guardroids and Megabots flying as she kicked them. Once they finished with their opponents on the ground, the two looked up to see several more standing on some metal scaffolding. The robots pointed their weapons at the two and opened fire, causing the two to dodge or block the rain of lasers. "Give me a boost!" Valarie told Sweetie, as she rushed towards her and then jumped at her. "You got it," Sweetie yelled as she crouched down and raised her shield above her head. Once she felt the Pink Revolution Ranger land on it, she used all the strength to catapult her into the air. Valarie soared into the sky, passing the scaffolding and looking down to see the robots stare at her. She then swung her right foot through the air, unleashing a wave of pink energy which flew at them. The energy struck the robots, causing a majority of them to be destroyed while the others where blown back. Valarie landed on the scaffolding, while Sweetie had rushed up the stairs. The two then began taking out the remainder of the robots. Across the area on another lot of scaffolding, Sandel and Grant were fighting off several Megabots. The two were doing alright, but the Megabots surrounding them were growing closer and closer. In that moment they noticed Micro and Dani fighting on the roof across from them and saw how they had switched weapons, giving them an idea. "Here," Sandel said as he pulled out his Morphin Blaster and opened his belt, before placing a Magi-Charger in it. "Catch!" he tossed the blaster at his Ranger counterpart, who saw it and threw his Energy Blade in return. The two weapons crossed each other midair, before flying towards their respective Rangers. They caught them and with their doubled up power, managed to slash and blast their opponents down. Once they had finished with the ones surrounding them, they leapt off the scaffolding and turned towards a group of Guardroids charging towards them. "You ready?" Grant asked Sandel. "Totally," Sandel replied as his Ranger counterpart stepped infront, before kneeling down. Sandel then opened his belt and pulled out another charger, which he activated and placed in his Spirit Sabre. He shut the compartment and began spinning the two swords, as Grant spun the Morphin Blaster's barrel. "DOUBLE BLAST CUTTER!" They yelled as Grant fired the two guns, followed by Sandel slashing the air with his swords and unleashing a pair of energy slicers. Sandel's attack struck Grants, creating a pair of highly powered energy arrows that flew at the Guardroids. They struck the robots and caused an explosion, which engulfed several of them and sent the rest flying back. "Come on," Sandel said as he charged forward with his swords. "Right behind yeah," Grant replied as he followed, firing his blasters as he did. In another part of the complex, Soarin and Aichi were rushing towards a group of Megabots. "Blitz Bolts!" Soarin yelled as he fired several rounds of lightning bullets from his Thunder Morpher. "Neo Defender, Blast Mode!" Aichi to began firing his own blasts at the robots. The two attacks struck the Megabots, mowing them down like bowling pins. However, behind those ones were Megabots that had their blasters charged and fired. "Sky high!" Soarin yelled, as the flaps on his back extended and allowed him to take to the sky. "Neo Defence!" Aichi called out as his shield vest unleashed a wave of energy, which formed into a force field that the laser bounced off of. "Thunder Sabre!" Soarin summed his sword midair, before he swooped towards the ground and slashed the previously firing robots down. "Blade Mode!" Aichi switched his weapon to its laser sword form, before charging forward and using it to cut down several Megabots in a single slice. However, a sudden explosion caused Aichi to go flying and smash into the wall of a nearby building. Kneeling up, he saw a bunch of Guardroids marching towards him and he also noticed his Neo Defender had been thrown away from him. "Not good." A ways off, Soarin landed and cut down several more Megabots. He then turned to see Aichi was in trouble. "Here!" He yelled before throwing his Thunder Sabre, which flew through the air and dug its blade into the ground between Aichi and the robots. Seeing this, the Neo Ranger nodded to his counterpart before getting up and rushing to the sword. As the Guardroids fired their lasers, Aichi unearthed the sword and used it to deflect the blasts as he rushed forward. Once at the group, he began slashing them down the way he'd seen Soarin do it. Soarin meanwhile was having a tough time without his sword. But just as he leapt out of the way of a Megabot's shot, he caught sight of Aichi's Neo Defender and leapt forward to grab it and roll back to his feet. Already charged with Aichi's X Energy, Soarin was able to activate it and create the blade to use against them. The two Rangers soon fought their way to each other, standing side by side as they stood against the robots surrounding them. "Here!" They said as they swapped weapons again, before standing back to back. "Let's end this!" Aichi said. "Couldn't agree more," Soarin said as he took out his Magi-Charger and placed it in his sword. Their two weapons glowed, powering up, before they spun around and yelled together. "Thunder Sabre-" "Neo Defender-" "STRIKE!" They unleashed their attacks in a prefect circle, hitting every single robot surrounding them. Once they were done, they stood back to back and watched as the robots began to short and spark, before they all collapsed and exploded. Once the explosion ended, the two Rangers grasped hands in celebration. "Alright!" Soarin said. "Great work!" Aichi agreed. In Mechano's hiding spot, we see him watching the battle on one of his computers. "Enjoy your victory while you can Rangers," he said as he turned to another computer, which showed his creation's charge. "Ninety nine percent," he said with a smile. With that he got up and moved over to his ship, before climbing inside and activating it. The ship flew over to the hidden part of the factory, flying through the sheets and into the darkness. It then flew beneath a large object, before flying up into an opening. The ship flew up and long tunnel, eventually coming to a stop into a large opening. From the darkness came a series of mechanical arms, which plugged themselves into the ship. Second later the opening lit up, illuminating the ship. Turning to his computer, he saw the system reading one hundred percent. "Go time." Back with the Mane Six, they were all just silently waiting for something to happen. Then it happened, the screen they had watched earlier switched on and showed Mechano's hideous face. "Greetings ladies," he said with a twisted smile. "I know you must be getting bored, so I've decided to give you a little entertainment." The six all gave him a piercing look, knowing whatever he was about to show them would not entertain them in the slightest. "It's a little film I like to call...Power Ranger destruction!" With that, the screen switched to show the twelve Rangers all together. "This can't be good," Twilight said. Back with the Rangers, they had just finished off the last of the robots and were regrouping. "That's the last of them," Flash said as he and Chris arrived where the others had gathered. "Lets hope that was enough time for Shining and the others," Grant said. Before anyone could say anything else, the ground beneath their feet began to shake. The Rangers all had steady themselves so as not to fall over. "What's happening?" Sweetie asked. "Earthquake?" Dani speculated. "In Canterlot?" Micro replied, "possible, but not likely." "Then what is causing it?" Kade asked, only to get his answer a second later. One of the nearby buildings literally exploded, sending pieces of debris flying in all directions as a giant cloud of smoke funnelled out. "LOOK OUT!" Soarin screamed as they all dodge the projectiles that were flying towards them. After what felt like an hour dodging debris, the Rangers were finally safe and could focus on what caused the building's destruction. The smoke began to clear, revealing a giant figure to the world. "What...is that?" Valarie asked. That, turned out to be a giant mechanical robot with armouring that was gunmetal grey. It looked like a giant robotic version of Doctor Mechano, with large metallic spikes for its hair and a large red lens for its left eye. Its right arm had a mechanical hand with five razor sharp fingers, that when fully extended gave the hand a five pointed star look. On the end of its left arm, instead of a hand it had a giant laser cannon with an opening so large a train could run through it. The Rangers watched in horror, as the robot stood to its full height before turning to look down at them. Then it did something truly terrifying...talk. "Hello my friends," Mechano's voice called out from it, "how do you like my latest invention." "Mechano," Chris growled. "The one and only," Mechano replied, "and with my newest creation, I will finally be able to destroy you and conquer this world." "Don't go planning Mechano day just yet," Lyra called out to the mad scientist. "We're not going to go down so easily." "Yeah," Kade agreed, "what's so special about that robot? Doesn't look any different from the hundreds of robots we've scrapped before." Mechano just chuckled. "Because unlike my previous creations, this one has the smartest brain in the multiverse at its control...MINE!" In that moment a projection shot out of the lens eye, before showing a holographic screen with Mechano in his ship. "So you're controlling that robot?" Grant asked. "Correct," Mechano replied, "I decided to take a page out of your book." The robot raised its arms, showing how fast it could move. "Presenting...the Mecha Megazord!" "He built his own Megazord?" Flash asked. "No way that thing can stand up to a real Megazord," Chris replied. "Oh but it can," Mechano said. "Unlike my previous creations, this one isn't restricted by how much power I can give it." The screen then switched to show Twilight and the rest of their friends, all having the magic within them drained out. "It has its own internal everlasting power supply." "Twilight," Flash called out. "Guys!" Twilight replied through the screen, "you've gotta stop him." "SAVE US!" Pinkie screamed. "Save you?" Mechano asked before laughing, "they won't even be able to save themselves." With that the Mecha Megazord raised its cannon arm and pointed it at the twelve Rangers, before it began to glow as it charged up. The Rangers all froze in fear at the sight of the humongous blaster. It would fire any moment, meaning they did not have any time to dodge or call one of their Zords. "Goodbye Rangers!" Mechano yelled once the cannon was seconds away from firing. But then. BOOM! The Mecha Megazord was struck by a fireball, which had shot through the sky and hit it in the back. Doing so caused its blaster arm to be thrown wildly in the air, before it fired and sent its laser harmlessly into the sky. "WHAT!" Mechano screamed as the Megazord righted itself. The twelve Rangers turned to the source of the fireball and all went wide eyed. The Phoenix Zord was flying through the air towards them, its wings still smoking after unleashing the blazing projectile. "Somebody call for a hero?" Sunset asked from within her Zord's cockpit. "Because you've got two," Shining continued from next to her. "What?" Mechano asked, "but I blew you up! Kaboom! Gone! Atomised!" "Next time you should check your work," Sunset told him. "If you did, you would have seen Ryn save us." KABOOM! Sunset and Shining flinched as the room was filled with explosions, but seconds after the blast and they didn't feel anything. Looking up, they saw they were inside Commander Ryn's particle barrier. The force field was so strong, that the explosions and debris wasn't even scratching it. Finally the blast subsided and the last of the rubble flew passed them, and not a moment to soon as Ryn's generator sparked and whined before dying. Ryn fell to his knees, as the Ranger rushed towards him. "What did you do?" Shining asked him. "Turned my generator to one hundred percent," Ryn replied. "But you said that would-" Sunset did not finish, as Ryn opened up the front of his device and a pile of silver dust fell out of it. "The X Element shard is destroyed," Ryn told them, "but it was worth it." He looked up at the two and placed his hands on their shoulders. "Go! Help your friends. I'm afraid I am of no more use to you." The two Rangers nodded, before turning to rush out the remains of the factory. Off to help their friends in battle. "And it looks like we got here just in time," Shining said. "Alright guys!" Flash cheered hearing their story. Mechano growled hearing how his plan had failed. "I matters not. I'll just destroy you with my own hands!" With that he raised his cannon and fired at the robotic bird, which began flying through the air to dodge the attacks. "Guys," Sunset called out as she and Shining were thrown around in the Zord, "we need to go Megazord." "Right!" Flash and Shining said as they pulled out their Magi-Chargers, before activating and throwing them. "Summon, Dragon Zord!" "Summon, Minotaur Zord!" The two chargers flew off, arriving at their Zord's hiding places and flying inside. They then flew into the Zord's mouths, activating them. DRAGON CHARGER...ENGAGED! MINOTAUR CHARGER...ENGAGED! The Zord's eyes opened as they awoke, before bursting out of their hiding places and making their way towards their Rangers. The Mecha Megazord continued firing at the Phoenix, while Mechano stared down at the Rangers on the ground. "This should keep them distracted," he said as he pressed a button. The Rangers were watching the battle, when they saw something shoot out of the Mecha Megazord. It landed on the ground and revealed itself to be the Mecha Rangers, minus Red, along with a fresh batch of Guardroids and Megabots. The Rangers all took up a fighting stance seeing them. "Not good," Kade said. "Where's Red?" Lyra asked. "Must still be guarding the girls," Grant theorised. "RRRRRAAAAAOOOOORRRRR!" The Rangers turned to see the Dragon and Minotaur Zords had arrived on the scene. "Flash," Chris said, "you go help Shining and Sunset. We'll handle these creeps." "Got it," Flash said as he turned to Phoenix Zord and leapt up, teleporting into its cockpit between the two other Rangers. "Nice to see you made it," Sunset joked. "You ready to take this thing down?" Shining asked him. "You know it," Flash replied before turning to other Zords. The three then spoke in unison. "Activate Phoenix-Wing Megazord, Mino-Drake Formation!" The Phoenix Zord squawked, before turning towards the other Zords. The three opened their mouths, before their Magi-Chargers flew out with the Dragon and Minotaur's Chargers went into Phoenix's. DRAGON CHARGER...ENGAGED! It bit down on the first Charger before it flew out and was replace withe second Charger. MINOTAUR CHARGER...ENGAGED! It bit down on the second Charger before it flew out again and the last Charger flew in. PHOENIX CHARGER...ENGAGED! ZORDS COMBINED! And just like that, the three Zords transformed and linked together to form the humanoid robot that was just as big as the Mecha Megazord. PHOENIX-WING MEGAZORD, MINO-DRAKE FORMATION...READY! The new Megazord landed on the ground, facing off against Mechano's dark forgery. "Let's show this guy how a real Megazord fights!" Flash cried as the Megazord charged forward. "Phoenix Fist!" Sunset yelled as the bird head fist ignited and punched the robot. "Mino-Claw!" Shining called as his Zord slashed at it. The Mecha Megazord was pushed back by the attacks, before it tried to slash at the Rangers but they quickly took to the sky. Meanwhile back on the ground, the Rangers were doing battle against their robotic counterparts. However, the Mecha Rangers were still proving to be almost unbeatable foes, as they were able to counter every move the Rangers made together or individually. Chris, Soarin and Aichi meanwhile, were taking down the foot solider robots. "Take this!" Chris yelled as he slashed down a Megabot. After it fell, Chris looked up and saw to two giant robots do battle. "Wish I could help." "CHRISTOPHER!" "Yarr!" The Red Revolution Ranger cried in surprise, as he heard someone call to him over his radio. "Are you there?" "Dad?" Chris asked. "Looks like I'm through," Ryo Davis replied, "I've got the portal up to one hundred percent." "That's great," Chris said, "I need you to send me something." "Way ahead of you son. It's already on its way." In that moment, there was a brilliant flash of light. Chris turned to the source of the light, as it faded to reveal a giant truck. It was red in colour, with silver crome and black wheels. It was pulling a silver trailer behind it that had a large black X painted on it. "The Power Hauler!" Chris yelled as he rushed towards it. "Dad, you're the best!" With that he leapt up and teleported into the truck's cockpit, which looked like something you would see in an arcade. As soon as he put his hands on the wheel, the cockpit lit up and Chris put it into gear. "Time to help the others," he said as he steered it towards the battle. Once the two Megazords were in view, he pressed a button on his controls and an opening folded out. From that opening fired out a barrage of missiles, that flew towards the Mecha Megazord and struck it. "AAAARRRR!" Mechano screamed as his Megazord almost fell over. The Phoenix-Wing turned to the truck. "Need a hand," Chris said over the coms. "Love one," Flash replied. Chris nodded and came to a stop, before pressing another button which caused the transport to be disconnected. Once the Power Hauler moved away, Chris pressed another button. "Transport, OPEN!" The trailer flashed, before the top began to fold up leaving the bottom on the ground. Once it had folded ninety degrees, there was another flash and the three remaining sides split apart and folded towards the ground. This formed an X, while also revealing four vehicles which had been hidden within the transport. There was a blue and white police cruiser, a yellow helicopter, a green bulldozer and a pink ambulance. "Alright guys," he said over the coms, "do your thing." In the battle, the Revolution Rangers all heard their leader and nodded. "RIGHT!" They said. "Rev Cruiser!" Kade yelled out, activating his Zord. "Rev Copter!" Dani cried, activating her Zord. "Rev Dozer!" Grant hollered, activation his Zord. "Rev Medic!" Valarie called out, activating her Zord. The four Zord vehicles all activated, before driving or flying off the transport. Once they were off, the trailer folded back up into its original form. "Alright," Chris said as he pressed several buttons on his control panel, "activate Megazord, attachment formation!" With that, the five Zords all burst into gear as they got into position. The transport flashed once again, before it began to transform. This time, the trailer unfolded and reshaped itself until it took the form of a pair of robotic legs. The Rev Dozer and Rev Medic reversed until their backs linked up with the bottom of one of the legs, as the Power Hauler's front connected to the waist. The Rev Cruiser then reversed until its back linked up to the right side of the Power Hauler. The Rev Copter lowered a pair of cables, which connected to the Power Hauler's fifth wheel. It then lifted the Zords up, so that the Hauler, Cruiser and transport were soon standing upright as the Dozer and Medic took the wait. The Rev Copter the flew around the the Power Hauler's left side, as its tail rotter split in half and folded around its side, before it connected to the Power Hauler and its rotter disconnected. The fronts of the Rev Cruiser and Copter opened up, revealing a pair of mechanical fists. They then folded down, becoming a pair of arms. Finally the fifth wheel folded back, as a robotic head folded out the Power Haulers back. The Megazord was complete, with the Power Hauler and its transport as the main body and legs. The Rev Cruiser and Copter were its arms and the Rev Dozer and Medic were its feet. "Revolution Megazord!" Chris called out as the Megazord powered up. "ONLINE!" The new Megazord stepped towards the two others, who turned to see him. "Time for me to play," Chris said as he pumped the gas and the Revolution Megazord charged forwards, before throwing a punch. The Mecha Megazord used its clawed hand to catch the punch, but this gave Phoenix-Wing the chance to strike it with its Mino-Claw. The Mecha Megazord was once again pushed back, but once it steadied itself, it raised its blaster and pointed it at the Revolution Megazord. "Wheel Shield!" Chris yelled as the fifth wheel detached from the Megazord's back and flew into its left hand, allowing it to be used as a shield. The Mecha Megazord's blast fired, but the Revolution Megazord raised its shield and blocked the attack. The laser pushed the Megazord back a few feet, but Chris knew how to stop it. He angled his shield back, causing the beam to be reflected off and fly passed the Megazord's shoulder into the sky. "Phoenix Fist!" Sunset yelled as the Phoenix-Wing launched another flaming punch at the enemy. "My turn," Chris said as he pressed another button. "Activate, Revolution Sabre!" The Rev Copters rotters fell towards the Megazord, before the blades all spun around until they were pointing in the same direction. A handle folded out of the other end, which the Megazord grabbed. The rotters were now a large sword like weapon, which the Megazord swung at the Mecha Megazord and slashed it down the front. "Arr!" Mechano growled as his machine was damaged. "I'm not going down that easily." "Nice shot Chris!" Flash said. "Thanks," Chris replied, "but we can't keep doing this forever. We have to end it soon." "But we can't destroy that thing," Sunset told him. "Not without getting Twilight and the others out of it first." "She's right," Shining said, "but how do we get them out?" "We can help with that." The Rangers all jumped at the sound of Catherine's voice. "Mom?" Chris asked. "We've just finished scanning Mechano's robots," Celestia explained. "We've got its schematics and can direct you to where the girls are being held." "So someone needs to get inside that thing," Sunset asked, "but how?" "Easy," Flash replied before pointing at the spot Chris's sword had struck. They all took a closer look and saw the attack had left a hole in the machine's armour, big enough for someone to jump through. "Perfect," Shining said. "We just need to get close enough," Sunset said. "Then let's do this," Chris said. With that he charged forward, the Phoenix-Wing right behind him. "Stay back!" Mechano yelled as he fired his cannon, but the Megazord's either dodged or deflected the blasts. Finally the two Megazords got close to Mechano's, before they grabbed its and thrust one of their fists into the hole. "Go Flash!" Shining told the Red Ranger. "Me?" Flash asked, "don't you want to save your sister?" "I do," Shining replied, "but I know you've got a better chance of doing it then me. NOW GO!" "He's right," Sunset told him, "quick, before it's to late." Flash nodded, before leaping out the cockpit and landing on the Megazord's arm. He began to run down it towards the hole. "Mom!" Chris called out, "I'm setting the Megazord to remote control. I've going in with Flash." "Alright," Catherine replied as she pulled a device out of her jacket and connected it to the bases computer. "You can control the Megazord remotely?" Luna asked. "I can," Catherine replied, as the device transformed into a portable version of the Megazord's controls. "I can't use any of its special attacks, but we won't be using them." Once remote control mode was on, Chris also jumped out of the cockpit and landed on the robots arms. He then rushed down it, following after Flash as they got closer to the hole. "Ready?" Flash asked as he pulled out his sword and blaster. "Let's end this," Chris replied as he did the same. With that they leapt towards the Mecha Megazord, flying through the whole and into the machine's interior. "There in!" Shining called out as the two Megazord's pulled away from each other. "Let's hope they can save the girls," Sunset said. With that the three Megazords began to do battle once again. Flash and Chris landed inside a corridor, Guardroids and Megabots all around them. "Surprise!" Flash yelled as he and his Ranger counterpart unleashed a flurry of laser fire, before rushing down the corridor on their way to save their friends. "Hold on girls, we'll get you out of here." > Mechano Falls > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Back on the ground, Soarin and Aichi were working to take out the Guardroids and Megabots. Meanwhile, the battle between the Rangers and their mechanical duplicates continued. "Take this!" Lyra screamed as she thrusted her staff at Mecha Blue, but the robot used its spear to block it. "And this!" Kade yelled as he threw a Prism Punch at the robot, but it moved its spear so Lyra's staff blocked it. It then thrusted the spear up, causing the two's arms to be thrown high before Mecha Blue spun around and slashed them both its its spear. The two Rangers cried out and sparks flew off them and they fell back from pain. "Fire!" Micro yelled as he and Dani rushed towards Mecha Yellow, but the robot used its twin blades to deflect that blasts and send them flying back the Guardian Ranger. "AAARRR!" He cried as he was shot and sent flying back. "Micro!" Dani yelled before turning to the robot. "You'll pay!" She cried before raising her swords and charging at the robot. Said robot did the same and rushed at her, managing to block every one of her slashes before dealing its own. It managed to knock her blades out of her grasp, before dealing her a crossed slashed down the chest. She to cried out as she was thrown back and landed next to Micro. Sweetie and Valarie were facing Mecha Pink, but the robot was quickly overpowering them. "Prism Kick!" Valarie cried as she threw several leg swipes at the robot, but Mecha Pink's legs glowed before it countered her attacks with its own kicks. Eventually Mecha Pink was able to hit her in the stomach and send her flying back. "Morphin Blaster!" Sweetie cried out as she aimed her weapon. "FIRE!" She shot several rounds at the robot, but it simply used its glowing kicks to deflect them back at her. Sweetie raised her shield to protect herself, but as soon as the lasers ended, Mecha Pink leapt at her and dealt a powerful kick her shield. The force was so strong, that Sweetie couldn't withstand it and she was sent flying from the force. "Fire!" Grant yelled as he shot several blasts at Mecha Green, who managed to dodge every signal one. "Take this!" Mecha Green turned to see Sandel charging at his, swing his blades wildly at the robot. Said robot managed to use its own swords to block them, before noticing Grant unleashing another burst or rapid fire behind him. Pushing Sandel's blades away, Mecha Green leapt over the Guardian Ranger before kicking him in the back and sending him flying into Grant's blasts. "AAARRR!" He cried as he was shot. "Sandel!" Grant yelled, his distraction allowing Mecha Green to get close and deal him several powerful blows to his chest. "This is bad," Celestia said as she, Luna, Catherine and Starswirl watched the battle unfold. "No matter what they do, the Rangers are being overpowered." Luna nodded. "Even when they fight together, the Mecha Rangers knowledge of their fighting style is allowing them to counter them." "They'll find a way," Starswirl said. "The just have to keep trying." Catherine meanwhile was busy controlling the Revolution Megazord remotely. The three Megazord's were still battling. Despite the battle being two on one, the Mecha Megazord had had one mayor advantage on its opponents. That was that unlike him, they were not able to deal any major damage to it since their friends were still inside it. "Mino-Claw!" Shining yelled as the Phoenix-Wing slashed at the Mecha Megazord but, due to not wanting to damage it to much, it was only at half strength. Because of this, the Mecha Megazord barely flinched. "Phoenix Fist!" Sunset cried as they threw another weak punch, which wasn't even ignited. Because of that, the Mecha Megazord was able to take the attack like it was nothing. The Revolution Megazord raised its sword and used it to slash at its enemy but, due to them holding back, it didn't have enough force and simply bounced off the Mecha Megazord. "What happened to all your enthusiasm?" Mechano mocked as his Megazord slashed at the Revolution Megazord and then fired its cannon at Phoenix-Wing. "Don't tell me you've given up." The Phoenix-Wing fell back as it was struck, causing the Rangers inside to be thrown around. As they tried to get up, the Mecha Megazord fired another blast at them. Luckily the Revolution Megazord stepped in and used its shield to block. "We can't keep doing this forever," Sunset said as the Megazord tried to pick itself up. "I know," Shining replied once the Megazord was upright. "But we have to. Flash needs more time." The two Megazords charged forward, as the Mecha Megazord unleashed another laser blast. The Revolution Megazord once again raised its shield as the Phoenix-Wing took flight. The Mecha Megazord then raised its cannon at the sky, unleashing a swarm of laser blasts that the Megazord had to evade. Eventually one clipped its wing and the Megazord went crashing into the ground, leaving it open for the Mecha Megazord to attack. Luckily the Revolution Megazord was there to stand between them, as the Mecha Megazord charged. Mechano laughed as his robot knocked the Revolution Megazord aside, before turning back to the Phoenix-Wing. He was unaware that Flash and Chris had managed to get inside his creation. "That's the trouble with you Rangers," he said as he stepped closer to them. "You rely to much on others, which makes you weak when forced to fight alone. I don't rely on anyone, meaning I'm always ready to fight on my own." He laughed once again as he raised is blaster and pointed it at the Megazord's head. Shining and Sunset saw this and knew they were in trouble, as the cannon began to power up. Luckily, the Mecha Megazord was knocked aside. The cause, the Revolution Megazord, who was firing lasers from the shoulder mounted pipes of the Power Hauler. Doing this pushed the Mecha Megazord away from the Phoenix-Wing, allowing the Megazord to get up and fly to safety. "Relying on others isn't all bad," Shining told Mechano. "Yeah," Sunset agreed, "at least when we're in a tough spot, we have hope that our friends can help us. You'll never have that hope." They heard Mechano growl, as his robot righted itself. "Who needs hope, when I have ultimate power." Once again the Mecha Megazord started firing, causing its two opponents to once again dodge and block. "Come on Flash," Shining said as the flew through the air. "You have to hurry." Inside the Mecha Megazord's main power core, the girls were watching the battle and were as unaware as Mechano that their friends were on their way to save them. "What are they doing?" Rainbow asked as they watched the screen. "It's like their not even trying." Rarity sighed. "With us in here, they can't do anything too damaging to the Megazord." "Maybe," Applejack said, "but at least they could try and take it down without harming us." "That's to big of a risk," Twilight told her. "Who knows what would happen to us if they try and do anything to drastic." "They have to do something," Fluttershy said. "But what?" Pinkie asked. The answer quickly came when they heard noise coming from outside the room, followed by the doors being blown off its hinges and a bunch of laser blasts flying into the room and taking out some of the Guardroids. From out of the smoke leapt the two Red Rangers, who landed on the ground and slashed the remainder of the robots down. "FLASH!" Twilight and the others cheered in joy, seeing him and Chris turn towards them. "Ladies," Chris said nodded. "How?" Rainbow asked. "It doesn't matter," Flash said as he moved over to them. "We're getting you out of here." However, before he got close, several laser blasts flew from behind the girls and struck the two, sending them flying into the opposing wall. "Flash!" Twilight screamed in concern. The two Red Rangers pulled themselves to their knees, before looking up and seeing Mecha Red step out from behind Twilight's restraint. As the stood up they raised their weapons, before charging towards the robotic Ranger. Mecha Red pulled out its own weapons and also charged forwards. He deflected Flash's sword strike, before blocking Chris's and pushing it back up. It then dealt a pair of swift punched to their stomachs, the force of which sending them both back. The Mane Six all flinched seeing them hit the wall again, luckily they managed to land on their feet and charged once again. The three continued to fight, but Mecha Red proved to powerful against the two of them. Chris tried to slash at the robots neck, but Mecha Red caught his wrist and then kicked him away. Flash then pulled out his Dragon Breaker and threw punch after punch at the robot, managing to get in several hits until Mecha Red managed to finally block it and threw him at a wall. As Flash tried to push himself back up, he saw Mecha Red coming at him. Luckily Chris managed to get in front of him and used his sword to slash at the robot, pushing it back and allowing Chris to inflict several more strikes. Mecha Red then managed to deflect with its sword, before dealing a powerful kick to his stomach. Watching this, Flash's brain suddenly sparked with an idea. Chris had managed to get a few hits in when he first attacked Mecha Red on his own, the same way he had when he fought it solo...of course! "I've got an idea," Flash told Chris as he got up. "I'm all ears," Chris replied. "Wait for my signal an then attack," Flash said before charging at the robot and slashing at it, managing to get several hits in while watching Mecha Red carefully. Eventually when Mecha Red managed to block an attack, Flash knew this was the moment and leapt back. "NOW!" Chris nodded before rushing forward and began fighting Mecha Red, using his sword to strike it several times before blasting it with his blaster. Flash meanwhile swapped his Dragon Breaker for his blaster as he watched the two, until Mecha Red managed to dodge one of Chris's attacks. "Swap out!" He cried as he aimed his blaster at Mecha Red, while Chris jumped back allowing his to open fire. He got closer and closer to the robot while firing, hitting it each time until he got close enough to slash at the robot. "He's doing it!" Pinkie screamed in joy. "Flash is beating it!" "But how's he doin it?" Applejack asked, turning to Twilight. The purple skinned girl watched as the two Red Rangers fought the robot, Flash calling out when to swap. Finally a light flicked on and she realised what Flash had. "Brilliant!" She screamed. "What?" Rainbow asked her. "This thing might be advanced but it's still a machine," Twilight told them. "Every action it makes is done using a program, which it has multiples of for different situations. It's got a program to help fight Flash, Chris or the two of them together. But it takes time for it to switch programs." The rest of the team quickly caught on. "I see," Rarity said. "So when it's using the program designed to fight Flash, it can't stand against Chris and vice versa." Twilight nodded. "All they have to do is keep swapping out whenever Mecha Red switches programs." "You biggest mistake was reading my mind," Flash said as he kicked the robot down. "Maybe one on one you're a match for me or Chris, but when we work together!" He performed a Power Slash, striking Mecha Red in the shoulder. "You can't beat us!" "Mom," Chris said over the coms, "did you get that?" "We heard," Catherine said. "We're sending the instructions to the rest of the team now," Luna said as she and Celestia typed away at the computers. The Rangers were all in a dire state, as the Mecha Rangers were proving difficult to defeat. "We're in trouble," Lyra said as Kade helped her back to her feet while Mecha Blue, who was now holding a sword, slowly made its way towards them. "We can't give up," Kade told her, but before he could say anything else they both got a message through their visors. "What's this?" He asked as he and Lyra quickly read the writing and as they did their eyes went wide. "That's it." The rest of the Rangers all got the same message, learning what Flash had learned and all coming up with ways to use it. Lyra saw Mecha Blue rushing at them with it sword raised, before she looked up see a bunch of pipes overhead. "Give me a boost," she told Kade as she stepped infront of him. Kade nodded before grabbing her around the waist and hoisting her up, allowing her to grab one of the pipes and swing up. Kade saw Mecha Blue coming at him and slash its sword down, but he managed to grab the robot by the wrist and keep the sword raised high. This was what Lyra was waiting for, having done some gymnastic moves so she was facing the other way, and swung back down. Using her feet she managed to grip the blade and yank it out of the robot's hands, before letting go of the pipe and flipping through the air until she landed on the ground. Without a weapon, Mecha Blue was defenceless against Kade. The Blue Revolution Ranger called on his metal gauntlets and dealt several swift punched to the robots body, causing it to be pushed back. Lyra then pulled out her Spirit Sabre while picking up the robots sword, before rushing passed Kade and dealing several slashes to Mecha Blue. The attacks were so strong, that they managed to rip a hole in the robots armour. Seeing this Lyra took Mecha Blue's sword and shoved the tip in. "KADE!" She screamed as she leapt out the way, allowing Kade to rush up and punch the end of the sword, causing it to cut all the way through the robot. The robot shook as it tried to pull the weapon out of itself, but it couldn't. "We've got it on the ropes," Lyra said. "Let's take it down!" Kade said, before the two rushed forward. The rest of the Ranges were also working to take down the doppelgangers, now armed with this knew knowledge. "Take this!" Dani yelled as she and Mecha Yellow fought against each other with their swords. Micro was nowhere to be seen, so the Yellow Revolution Ranger was on her own. She manged to hit the robot several times, until the robot adapted and managed to block. In was in that second that a bunch of laser blasts struck it in the back, causing it a let out a robotic scream before turning around. It looked up and saw Micro on some scaffolding, acting like a sniper and firing at him from a safe distance. Before it could retaliate against him, Mecha Yellow felt a powerful slash hit it in the back. Dani had used his distracted state to deal a powerful blow, before leaping to a safe distance as the robot spun around only to be shot in the back again. This went of several times, whenever Mecha Yellow turned to focus on one Ranger the other would deal it a blow. Valarie and Mecha Pink were also clashing, both using high powered kicks against each other. When Mecha Pink managed to hit the Ranger in the leg and send her tumbling to the ground, Sweetie leapt it to block the next attack with her shield. She then started swiping at the robot with her sword, until the robot adapted and managed to block one. Seeing this, Sweetie jumped back before Valarie leapt up from behind her. She landed on Sweetie's shoulder and then bounced off to go even higher, before she quickly descended and dealt a powerful kick to Mecha Pink. The robot's chest armouring was practically shattered, as it staggered back and looked down to see its exposed wires and pistons. Sweetie pulled out her Morphin Blaster and spun the barrel, before firing off several rounds which struck the robots systems. Sandel was currently fighting Mecha Green, both using their two swords to counter each other. Suddenly the Green Guardian Ranger ducked down, allowing Grant a clear shot. He fired both his weapons, hitting the same spot on the robot's chest. Doing so caused Mecha Green to develop a burn in the centre of its chest, until it managed to adapt and began blocking the lasers. Sandel meanwhile had swapped his Spirit Sabre of his Fenrir Fang and charged at the robot, before thrusting the weapon into the burn. Due to the damage from the lasers, the armour broke and the Fenrir Fang impaled the robot. Sandel then used all his strength to slam Mecha Green into the ground, before dragging it around. Finally he thrusted his arm up and sent the robot flying off his weapon, before it slammed into a wall and broke right through it. "It's working!" Luna cheered watching the battle. "You were right Flash!" Celestia told the Red Ranger. "Battling the Mecha Rangers one at a time is giving us the edge." "I told you," Flash said smugly while he watched Chris fighting Mecha Red. The Red Revolution Ranger managed to block the robots two sword with his own, allowing him to jam his blaster into its chest and fire several rounds into it. This sent the robot flying through the air, until it smashed into a nearby wall with a loud thud. Chris turned back to Flash as the two stepped towards each other, high fiving as the passed. Flash then charged at the robot as it got up, before using his Dragon Breaker to smashing it back into the wall. He did this several times, causing Mecha Red to be sandwiched between him and the wall. Seeing the robot about to change programs, he then leapt out of the way. This gave Chris the chance to fire several more rounds, which struck the robot in the area Flash had been punching. Soarin and Aichi were down to the last few foot soldiers. Soarin slashed down a Megabot. "That." Aichi blasted three Guardroids. "Should." "DO IT!" They both yelled as they both struck the final few Megabots and destroyed them. "Alright," Soarin said seeing them all scrapped. "Now let's go help the others," Aichi said. However, as they turned to look for them something suddenly fell from the sky and crashed to the ground. As the dust cleared they saw it was Mecha Blue, who was looking worse for wares. Mecha Yellow soon followed, before a nearby wall was ripped apart and Mecha Pink flew through it. Mecha Green was the last, landing in the same area as the rest of its robotic team. The two sixth Ranger whistled at this, before they saw the rest of their team rushing towards them. "What did you guys do?" Soarin asked. "Discover the Mecha Ranger's weakness," Lyra told him. "They don't look to good," Aichi said. "Then let's use that to finally take them down," Kade said. The rest of the group nodded, before Aichi went to his communicator. "Mom, send us the Jet Booster Cannon." "You got it," Catherine replied. Back at the Megazord battle, the Revolution Megazord stood still as the Phoenix-Wing held the Mecha Megazord still. A compartment then opened in its leg, before something shot out of it. It was a silver space shuttle like vehicle, about the size of a motorcycle. It flew through the air towards the Revolution Rangers, before it suddenly stopped right above them. From the bottom of its wings, a pair of objects folded out and linked together to become a gun handle. The shuttle then dropped down and the Revolution Rangers caught it, Kade and Dani placing the wings on their shoulders while Grant and Valarie linked arms and placed the end on them. Aichi stepped to the back and grabbed the handle. "Jet Booster Cannon ready!" He cried as the nose opened up to reveal a blaster head. "Nice," Soarin said as he took out a Magi-Charger and clicked it. "Guardian Buster, activate!" He threw the Charger into the air before it transformed into the super weapon, which he caught and activated. Magi-Chargers," everyone said, as they activated their Chargers and placed them in the compartments before shutting them. "Locked and loaded." Soarin placed his Charger in the main compartment and shut it, causing the white streaks along the blaster to turn navy blue GUARDIAN BUSTER...THUNDER CHARGE! "ENERGISE!" The Revolution Rangers yelled as they began to glow, while a compartment opened near the back of their weapon. The light flew into the compartment, as the Jet Booster Cannon began to power up. As Soarin aimed the Guardian Ranger's weapon, Lyra, Micro, Sweetie, and Sandel took position behind him. "Guardian Buster, Thunderbird Blast..." The tail of the cannon split into a V shape, which Aichi aimed through as they prepared to attack. "Jet Booster Cannon..." FIRE!" They both pulled the trigger and the two weapons fired. The Guardian Buster firing a single powerful blast shot out, which morphed into the shape of the Thunderbird Zord's head. Meanwhile the Jet Booster Cannon shot a single cannon ball sized energy blast. The two attacks flew at the Mecha Rangers, who were all to damaged to do anything to save themselves, before it struck them and caused a massive explosion. KABOOM! The ten Rangers all spun around as the explosion engulfed the Mecha Rangers, destroying them once and for all. "We did it!" Sweetie cheered once the blast died down. "Finally," Grant said, "the Mecha Rangers are gone." "It's not over yet," Lyra told him. "Yeah," Dani said, "the others need our help." "Then let's go," Kade said. The others all nodded before rushing over to where the Megazords were fighting. That fight wasn't going so well, as the two Megazords were still forced to hold back while their opponent didn't have such a handicap. It fired several blasts at the Phoenix-Wing, forcing it to stay back and dodge while the Revolution Megazord tried to get closer. However as it tried to slash the Mecha Megazord, it raised its cannon arm and blocked it before bringing its claws together and spinning them like a drill. It thrust the drill into the Megazord's chest, doing serious damage to it before pulling back and jamming its cannon into the hole made. It fired, sending the energy through the Revolution Megazord and causing it to spark as it was blown back. "NO!" Catherine yelled as her computer went dead. "What happened?" Celestia asked. "That blast knocked out the remote control unit. I've lost control." "Can't you do something?" Luna asked. "Not from here," Catherine said as she moved over to another computer. "Someone needs to get into the cockpit and take control." "We're on it!" They all looked to the computer and saw the Rangers rushing towards the Megazords. The Revolution Rangers arrived at where their Megazord had landed and all jumped into the different Zord parts. Each one sat in their cockpits and put their hands on the steering wheels. "Rev Medic online," Valerie said as her Zord powered up. "Rev Dozer online," Grant followed as his Zord powered up. "Rev Copter online," Dani said as her Zord powered up. "Rev Cruiser online," Kade said as his Zord powered up. "Power Hauler," Aichi said as he took control of Chris's Zord. "ONLINE!" The Zord's engine gave a mighty roar as it powered up. All five parts of the Megazord were at full power, allowing it to stand up and reengage into the fight. In the Phoenix-Wing's cockpit the rest of the Rangers teleported inside and readied themselves for battle. "Nice to see you made it," Shining told them. "You doubted we would?" Soarin joked. "Not a chance," Sunset told them. "Flash," Lyra called out, "you need to get out of there now." "Way ahead of yeah," Flash replied as he and Chris stood side by side, their sword blades leaned against their shoulders and their blasters charged. Mecha Red wasn't looking much better then his siblings had done, barely seeming to stand up. "Let's end this," Chris said as their weapons began to glow. "Agreed," Flash replied. They aimed their blasters at the robot and both fired a shot, before slashing that shot with their blades. "BLAST CUTTER!" The two attack flew through the air, combining as they did so, before striking Mecha Red and causing an explosion. The two Red Rangers stood their as they waited to see whether or not Mecha Red had survived. Suddenly something stepped out of the flames. It was Mecha Red, but its armour was melted way and leaving only its robotic skeleton. The robot looked at the two and tried to reach out to them, but eventually it gave up and fell to the floor. Mecha Red...was dead. "YEAH!" The Mane Six all cheered, as they watched the two Red Rangers fall to their knees in exhaustion. "Great work guys," Twilight said. "Indeed," Rarity agreed before looking at her shackles, "now if you would kindly." "Right, right," Flash said as they got up and moved over to them. Using their swords, they managed to slice the manacles off them. "Finally," Rainbow said once she was down. She held her ache shoulders as she stretched out her arms. "I'm glad your all okay," Flash told them. "Thanks to you guys," Twilight said. "Can we get out of here please?" Applejack asked. "Agreed," Chris said as he moved over to where they had entered through. The rest of the gang quickly followed and were out the door. In his cockpit, Mechano was busy fighting when he suddenly got an alarm. "A problem in the power core?" He asked as he switched one of his monitors to the room and saw the girls gone. "WHAT!?" He looked at his power supply and saw he had enough energy stored to give him a half hour before it would go down. "Plenty of time. Once I destroy these Zords, I'll find those girls and take them back." He typed in his next command, causing the Mecha Megazord to raise its drill and then thrust it towards the Phoenix-Wing. The Megazord however, raised its Mino-Claw and used it to grab the robot by the wrist. The Guardian Rangers were giving everything they had got to keep the drill away from them. "Guys," they then heard Flash's voice, "we could use a lift out of here." They looked over at the hole that the Red Rangers had leapt into and zoomed in to see them and the girls there. "Love to," Shining groaned, "but we've got a problem right now." "We've got this," Aichi's voice called out. They looked around to see the Revolution Megazord charge at them and raise its sword, before swinging it down and slashing the Mecha Megazord's drill arm completely off. "NO!" Mechano screamed at the loss of his weapon. "NOW!" Shining called out, as the Phoenix-Wing threw its Phoenix Fist at the Mecha Megazord and thrusted it into the hole. When it pulled back, eight figures were holding on for dear life. "What?" Mechano said as he saw them. Suddenly it all clicked, why the two Megazords seemed to be holding back. "They tricked me!" He watched as the Phoenix-Wing moved its fist close enough to the cockpit for seven of them to jump inside, before pit moved over to the Revolution Megazord and Chris leapt into it. In the Phoenix-Wing, Flash and the girls warped in. "TWILY!" Shining screamed as he pulled his sister into a hug. "Thank goodness, you're alright." "I'm fine BBBFF," Twilight assured him. Shining then pulled away from her and turned to Flash. "Thank you." Flash just nodded before turning back to their enemy. "Chris, you ready?" "You bet," Chris said, having relieved Aichi of the Power Hauler's control. "Then lets end this," Flash told him. "Once and for all!" Chris nodded, before putting his Zord into gear. "You heard him guys. Let's do this!" The other Revolution Rangers all agreed as they to put their Zords into gear. The Revolution Megazord's sword flew out of its hand, before returning to it X shaped rotter form that began spinning above the Megazord's head. A compartment in the middle of each other their steering wheels opened up, as the Rangers all began to glow. "X ELEMENT!" They all cried as they thrusted the palms into the compartment, the light streaming into it. The Megazord began to glow, the light flying upwards into the rotter and causing it to glow and spin faster. Eventually it became a glowing buzz saw like weapon. "FINAL X STRIKE!" They all yelled, as the attack was sent flying through the air towards the Mecha Megazord. "ULTIMATE FIREBALL FINISH!" The Guardian Rangers all cried out. Their Megazord's Phoenix wings ignited, before the flames flew into the Dragon Zord's mouth. "Three!" They said as they pulled their weapons out of the podiums. "Two!" They aimed the weapons at the monster. "ONE!" They pulled the trigger. "FIRE!" The fireball flew out the Dragon's mouth, creating an flaming arrow which flew at the monster. The two attacks flew into the air heading straight for the Mecha Megazord. They struck the giant robot, causing a massive explosion which consumed it. In his cockpit, Mechano was being deafened by alarms and explosion as he tried to stop what was happening. "No, no, no, no!" He cried as he did everything he could, but nothing seemed to be working. He looked over at a big red button on his control board and having no other choice, he slammed his robotic fist down onto it. The Rangers watched as the explosion continued, until finally the fire ceased and the Mecha Megazord could be seen. It was charred and standing limp, swaying from one side to the other. Eventually the robot slowly began to fall face first towards the ground and collapsed into a pile of junk. The Rangers and their teammates screamed in joy at the sight of their opponent's defeat. "You did it!" Rainbow yelled. "I knew you could!" Fluttershy screamed. "Victory party!" Pinkie cheered. Everyone else was down with that, but then Micro saw something. "Wait," he said before pointing at the sky, "look!" Everyone else looked at where he was pointing and saw what he did. It was a familiar looking egg shaped ship, which was flying through the air with a trail of smoke behind it. "Mechano!" Flash yelled. "He must have ejected from his Megazord before it blew," Twilight said. "Then let's get him," Sandel said. But before they could even think of a way to grab him, the ship glowed before it disappeared in a flash of light. "He's gone!" Sweetie yelled. "He must have returned to his world," Lyra said. "We've gotta do something," Soarin yelled. "No," Chris said over to coms, "don't bother. He's no threat now." "He's right," Catherine said, "he's lost his troops, his base of operations and the X Element was most likely in his Megazord, so it must have been destroyed. He has nothing to use against us now." "So that's it?" Applejack asked, "it's over?" "Yeah," Grant said, "it's over." "We did it," Flash said as he looked over his friends, "together. Guardian, and Revolution Rangers...VICTORY IS OURS!" They all cheered at this, while the two Megazords fist bumped. The threat to both their world had been eliminated and now, they could celebrate. > Parting of the Ways > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- And celebrate they did, as later that day Catherine, the principles and even Starswirl were preparing a feast on the school's back field. As soon as they had finished putting the last bowl on the table, they heard multiple voices behind them. They all turned to see the fourteen Power Rangers, six magic teenagers and one military commander walking towards them and waving as they got closer. The principles and Catherine all waved back. Once they all gathered around the large table, the party began. There was music, singing, dancing and incredible food. After eating, the group all started having fun. Fluttershy used her magic to summon several woodland critters, which she showed to Valarie and Sweetie. The Pink Revolution Ranger was amazed by the sights of the animals, that were practically none existent in her world. "Hello," she said as she petted a dear, "you are gorgeous." "isn't she," Fluttershy said with joy in her voice. Meanwhile Lyra was reading a book, unaware that Kade was snooping over her shoulder. "What'cha reading?" Lyra yelped in shock, accidently throwing her book in the air. Kade caught it and read the cover. "Oh, we've got this on my earth. Saucy." "Give it here," Lyra said with a laugh as she reached for it, but Kade just laughed and held it out of her reach. He then rushed over, with Lyra in hot pursuit. At the table, Applejack, Micro and Grant watched as Sandel and Dani were about to start an arm wrestle. Applejack held both their grasped hands in hers. "One, two, three, GO!" She let got and Sandel pushed Dani's hand, but the Yellow Revolution Ranger was holding him back without even trying. "Come on man," Micro told Sandel, seeing his reddening face as he tried to win. Grant just laughed at the sight of Dani yawning, before turned to his Twin. "Dani, just beat him." Dani gave a smug look. "Okay," she said before pushing Sandel's hand so hard she literally threw him off the table. Soarin and Rainbow and the other more physically activate members of the group, were all playing a game of soccer on the field. Aichi and Commander Ryn were dribbling th ball towards the net, until Rainbow used her super speed to steal it away from them. She stopped to show off as she bounced the ball on her foot, before rushing towards the goal and scoring. One the race track, Twilight and Catherine rushed over to the finish line before turning back. A hundred meters away we find Flash and Chris, getting ready to race one another. "READY!" The two women yelled as they raised a white flag, "AND GO!" The two Red Rangers shot off the starting block, quickly hitting their max speed and rushing down the track. They stayed even the whole way, laughing as they did so. They were enjoying it so much, that when they both passed the finish line they shot passed Twilight and Catherine and just kept going. The two females both laughed seeing this, with Flash and Chris doing the same when they finally came to a stop. The party lasted until the sun kissed the horizon. It was finally time for the Guardian Ranger's new friends to return home, all lined up opposing their Ranger counterpart. "So," Flash said to Chris, "this is it." "Yes," Chris replied to him, "as amazing as this world is, our world needs to be rebuilt." "We'll miss you guys," Twilight told them. "We'll miss you all to," Catherine said. "Maybe you can write," Pinkie said, causing them all to laugh. "I don't think the post office has an interdimensional package service," Valarie joked. "Even so," Sweetie said, "this is goodbye." "It doesn't have to be," Grant said. "Instead it can be...until we meet again." "I like the sound of that," Sandel said. The others all agreed, knowing that this wouldn't be the last time they all met. "If you ever need help," Micro said as he corrected his glasses. "We're only a portal away." "Same with you brain box," Dani told him. In that moment, their was a flash of light behind the Revolution Rangers. A large portal opened up, signalling it was time to go. "That's our ride," Aichi said. "Well then," Ryn said, "we should get going." The others all nodded. "I hope you manage to find Mechano," Shining told him. "Yeah," Soarin said, "make sure that guy gets what's coming to him." "We will," Kade said. "Good luck rebuilding your world," Lyra said. The others nodded, before turning towards the portal. Ryn was the first to step through, followed by Kade, then Valerie, Grand and Dani. Catherine gave everyone one final hug, before stepping through the portal and leaving only Chris. The Red Revolution Ranger held his hand out to Flash. "Like Grant said, until we meet again." Flash smiled before taking the hand and shaking it. "Until we meet again. And thank you, for helping me find my confidence as a leader again." "My pleasure," Chris replied before pulling away and walking towards the portal. He gave them a backwards wave as he stepped through, before the portal slowly shrank in size and eventually disappeared. Everything seemed to go silent now that their new friends were gone, Flash in particular continuing to stare at where the portal had been. Twilight stepped up to him and placed her hand on his shoulder. "I know you and Chris got close. I know this must be hard." Flash just sighed, before giving her a sincere smile. "Yeah," he then put his arm around her, "but I've got you...and everyone else." They turned back around and walked over to where their friends were. "So what now?" Rainbow asked. "Well," Celestia said, "school starts in a few days. I'd suggest you enjoy your last few days of summer, before your senior year arrives." "She's right," Flash told his friends, "let's go have some fun!" "YEAH!" They all cheered. The latest danger to their world had passed, now a new adventure was awaiting our heroes. What amazing situations will they get into? There is only one way to find out.
