See the rainbow...
"Holy shit... What happened?" you say with a groan, slowly sitting up as you rub your eyes, not wanting to open them because you can already feel the sun piercing through your eyelids.
Reluctantly, you open your eyes, blinking as you get a full view of the place around you. At first, you think you woke up in some weird village, with wooden houses and straw roofs. "Man... This place would not do good in storms or fire..." you say to yourself as figures start to pass in front of you, figures in all different colors, from red, to blue, to yellow, literally any color that could be thought up and you realize where you were.
"Jesus... Or should I say Celestia? Doesn't matter, I must have partied a bit too hard last night... Or maybe I'm still blacked out..." you pinch yourself, and feel the pain.
"Okay, so I'm definitely awake, but how did I get here? This place doesn't exist," you stand and step into the, you guess you'd call it a street, but there's no cars, and the only carriages are ones hauling commodities, other than that everyone is walking or flying around.
You wander with the crowd, and are amazed that you're not receiving any weird looks. You look down at yourself, confirming what you already know, "I'm definitely human, but everyone else is a pony, well, on two legs. Maybe the same magic that brought me here makes other see me as normal to them? That's kind of a relief." you think to yourself.
As you're looking around, you venture into a no-pedestrian zone, where the weather team practices.
"C'mon Cloudblight, this is your first day, you'll find out how to do this properly." You hear from above, looking at a blue pegasus push a mean looking storm cloud that's letting out stray lightning bolts. Before you can even react, one hits you and you tighten up, fainting onto the floor.
"Hey... Hey! Are you okay?" You hear above you, your entire body sore, but managing to open your eyes, seeing the blue pegasus again, this time her face is a foot away from yours, her rainbow colored mane dropping down next to you.
"Uh... Yeah. Sorry, I wasn't paying attention," you say with a sheepish chuckle and deep blush as you stare at the mare you had wished was real ever since you saw her, the gorgeous, but cocky, Rainbow Dash.
"Well you need to, this place is for weather training, and you can feel why now," Rainbow pinches her temples, shaking her head, "I told Mayor Mare we needed a fence to stop things like this from happening, but no, nothing is gonna happen, according to her."
"I mean it, I'm fine, surprisingly." You slowly sit up and Rainbow moves out of your way. "Maybe if I act like I don't know her, I can get a date!" you think, "Thanks for checking up on me miss...?"
Rainbow Dash blinks and looks at you "You don't know who I am?" She smirks and jumps in the air, doing a back flip before holding herself in a laying down position, one leg over the other as she 'leaned' on one hand "I'm Rainbow Dash! Fastest flyer in Equestria, not to mention I've saved the world a couple times."
You shake your head softly "I've never heard of you, but you are really pretty. Maybe we can hang out tonight? I recently moved here, and I don't want to spend my birthday alone."
She blushes lightly at the offhand comment on her beauty, but it quickly fades. "Sure, but only because I struck you with lightning and I feel bad, plus you've never heard of me and that makes me feel worse. Come to my house at eight tonight, I'll show you around town, and show off a bit while I'm at it. It's the only house made out of clouds, you can't miss it." With that, she takes off, going back to the weather team recruits.
