It's a dark afternoon, on the verge of a storm, and Twilight is standing on a cliff overlooking the ocean when she is approached by the rest of the Mane Six as well as somepony unexpected, Tempest Shadow herself. Twilight then turns around. "Tempest," says Twilight in shock, "what are you doing here?"

"I have something I want to share," replies Tempest, "it's about my horn and why I want, well, actually, need your magic."

"Go on then," replies Twilight Sparkle.

Tempest takes a deep breath then begins to share. "I was a young warrior in a warrior clan of unicorns. I was fighting one day and my horn got slashed by another young unicorn's sword. It cut off my horn. I went to the town medic after that and they bandaged up my bleeding and sparking horn. They told me it would never heal unless I managed to somehow get my hooves on alicorn magic. As a young unicorn filly, I took a sworn oath to myself to get a hold of alicorn magic to heal my horn once I was old enough to venture out on my own. Until then, I went back to training and continued to grow my combat and swordsmanship skills. After nearly twenty years of bettering my combat skills, I went out on my own. At long last, I was ready to go seek the alicorn magic I needed to rebuild and heal my horn."

"But I don't know if my alicorn magic can do that," replies Twilight. "My alicorn magic is still young and weaker than the other three princesses. I haven't had it as long."

"Any level of alicorn magic can accomplish limb reconstruction spells," replies Tempest bluntly. "I've done my research."

"Well," replies Twilight, "I'm still not sure." Applejack then pipes up.

"Twilight, are you really trying to help a pony who tried to kill you only hours before?"

"Yes," replies Twilight, "it's the right thing to do. I can see she's hiding her pain. I can feel it too."

"Whatever, Twilight, I trust you, I just warn you to be cautious," replies Applejack.

"I will," replies Twilight. "I promise." Applejack then steps back and lets Twilight and Tempest continue their talk. Twilight begins to concentrate and then recites the limb reconstruction spell from an old tattered book belonging to Tempest. "Reform, rebuild, rejoin, each bone piece by piece, cause them to stick together, let the pain and agony cease." The spell begins to activate. "Reform, rebuild, rejoin, construct, put each piece back where it belongs. Cover with marrow and then with coats of fur. Reform, rebuild, rejoin, each bone piece by piece, cause them to stick together, make everything go back to how it used to be." The horn then begins to reform on Tempest's head. Everypony stands in awe. They can't believe Twilight actually pulled it off. The horn soon finishes reforming and appears back in one piece on Tempest's head.

"I can't believe you actually did it," says Pinkie in shock.

"I'm with Pinkie on that," replies Rarity. "I thought that was beyond all alicorns and all unicorns."

"Well, many thought spells of this nature were at one point too," replies Twilight. "Mage Meadowbrook used to question this sort of spell herself. Learn to read." She says snarkily.

Tempest begins to cry as she stares up at her new horn. She can't believe she finally got her horn back after twenty years without it. Her mission has finally succeeded and come to an end. She embraces Twilight in a hug of thanks. She then goes with Twilight and her friends to go and deal with the Storm King one on one.

A few minutes later, they approach the Storm King. "Tempest, your horn's back in one piece," says the Storm King in shock. "But how?"

"Because of Twilight Sparkle," replies Tempest. "Alicorn magic can fix any wound and correct any incident." She then uses her magic to create a sword of light which she then hurls towards the Storm King. The Storm King runs off in fright but not before sending his minions after Tempest and the ponies. Tempest and the Mane Six kick the butts of the minions and soon, the minions are piled up in a corner, out cold. The seven then share a high seven before facing the Storm King head on. The Storm King shoots lightning magic from his staff at them. They jump out of the way and then Tempest jumps up onto his back while he's turned and grabs the staff from his grip. She then goes back over and joins the ponies. They then charge the Storm King once again. This time, they overwhelm him and Rarity, Twilight, and Tempest shoot him with magic, overwhelming him and knocking him out. The three then take a landing and do a three way high five. They then take the Storm King and turn him over to the other three princesses, who banish him to TarTarUs. Tempest then shares a hug with the ponies before hopping back onto the airship and taking off back into the darkness of the night.

The Mane Six then go into the castle to discuss with the princesses the day's events. "So, you used Alicorn magic to pull off a reformation spell, nice work, even if you did use it on one of our enemies," says Celestia to Twilight. "But we are still going to have a talk about this later. You're lucky she has no more ill will to bother us with."

"Yes, I know," replies Twilight. "Punish me however you wish."

"I'm not going to punish you," replies Celestia as she puts her hoof on Twilight's shoulder. "I'm not mad at you."

"Phew, I thought you were mad at me for a second there," replies Twilight as she wipes a line of sweat from her forehead. She then thanks Celestia with a great big hug. Celestia smiles down at her.

Meanwhile, Tempest lands the airship in her old town and hops off. She is then greeted by all her old friends and family. "Your horn is back!" they say in shock.

"And it's all thanks to Twilight Sparkle," replies Tempest. She then recounts everything to them as they listen on intently.
