A man named James is driving down a dark forest road to meet his girlfriend, when he feels something tugging on something insde him, he is knocked out by an unknown force, when he he wakes up he finds hes no longer himslef.
James is a twenty eight year old man who is driving to meet his girlfriend, they have been holding a long distance relationship for a long time now, but James wanted to surprise her by visiting her, but on his way there he feels a strange tugging sensation in his chest, he is knocked out by a strange force and everything goes black, when he wakes up he finds himself laying on the forest floor, he soon discovers that he is no longer in his body.
On a late night in December a man at the age of twenty eight drove down a dark road, his name was James Harkin, at the moment he was traveling to his girlfriends house, Christmas was in four days and for the holidays he was planning to spend those four very speacial days with her.
But she had moved away a few months back, that meant they couldn't see each other often, it was hard but they fought through it and kept their relationship strong, now he was gonna surprise her by driving all the way to where she lived, that was only one of the surprises he had in store for her, the second was a ring.
They had been dating for over a year now, James thought he was ready to ask her to marry her. While he thought about it he was starting to tingle with excitment.
As he was driving, something strange started happening, he started hearing a high pitched ringing in his ears, while something in his chest was being pulled on hard, it was very uncomfortable and starting to get stronger.
"Ngh...what the hell?..." He said confused, the pulling dtill getting stronger ever second.
Then there was a hard pull, his vision went black as he passed out.

It was cold, that was the first thing he noticed when he woke up, the second was that he was laying on the ground, he must have crashed and got thrown out of the car, he groaned and forced his eyes open, an action that should have been easier then it was.
He was in a forest, so he thought that he must of hit a tree and was thrown into the forest in the crash, judging from the pain in his leg and arm and the throbbing in the middle of his forehead he probably didn't have a pretty landing.
Images of him rag dolling through the window and hitting the ground played in his mind, most people would have cringed at the sight, he chuckled at how he imagined it, it looked funny actually much like a game, but his chuckling stopped when he heard it.
His chuckling sounded feminine, first time he's heard of a person getting a female chuckle after a car crash, he then noticed the dark purple colored strands of hair fall into his eyes 'That's definitely not normal' he thought.
He then saw an odd shiny black shape in his vision where his nose should be, he lifted his hand to touch it but a black stump with holes in it came into view, he jumped away from it, he couldn't see it anywhere now, nothing looked like what he saw a few minutes ago, but soon a fearful thought entered his mind, he slowly lifted his hand up again, the stump returned but this time it was shaking with fear.
James' heart was beating faster, he slowly looked down at his body, his pupils shrunk to pinpricks. His entire body was black and shiny, it looked like a bugs exoskeleton, but for a four legged animal.
At that moment he then realized it wasn't a stump he saw for his hands, it was a hoof, though a hoof that looked like it had been shot several times.
He was some bug horse? One with holes in its hooves and purple hair and tail, even the hair had holes in it, he rubbed her head with his new hoof and bumped it against something hard on his head, he winced at the feeling, whatever that was it was really sensitive at the moment while being sore at the same time.
He reached up with both hooves and carefully and lightly felt it, it bent in a bunch of directions and went pretty far up from his head, it ended with a sharp point at the top.
He thought for a minute on what it could possibly be, it was connected to his head so it wasn't just sitting there, it then hit him it was a horn.
So wait he was a bug unicorn? 'What the hell`s going on here?' He thought as looked around nervously.
He thought about it for a moment, odd black bug horse with holes in its hooves and purple web like hair, his eyes widened with realization.
"I'm a changeling" his hooves shot up to his mouth quickly hearing a woman's voice with a weird reverberating sound to it, but the action of quickly throwing his hooves to his mouth ended up being a double punch to his face "gah fuck!" He yelled falling on his back, he rubbed his now sore muzzle.
'Ok note to self don't do that again..' He sat back up and felt an odd twitching on his back, as this happened he felt weird muscles move and a weird flapping sound.
James looked behind and looked at his back. He saw large purple colored wings, so that explains the muscles moving and the flapping sounds, now back to his other more important mystery
He cleared his throat "testing" once again the woman's voice spoke out "crap..." He looked down between his legs and noticed a very important part that identified his correct gender was missing. It was disturbing to find out that he was now a woman but like a grown man he held it together.
In reality he screamed his lungs out and fainted.

"Ngh...wha?" He woke up and rubbed his head 'man what a crazy dream, I thought I was a girl changeling hehe, woo I probably shouldn't watch mlp so much before going to sleep anymore' he opened his eyes, he was still in the forest "oh crap" he whimpered.
His breathing escalated while his eyes darted all around "o-ok calm down calm down...how can I calm down in this situation?!" He screamed freaking out "Ima chick bug horse in the forest!" He yelled to no one while flailing his arms around in the air.
He took a couple of deep breaths and calmed down slightly "Okay..okay, I need to stay calm, I can't freak out I need a clear mind to figure this out" he decided to distract himself by thinking about something else "Man if Elizabeth were here she'd be laughing...Elizabeth!" He yelled with realization "Oh my god! What am I going to tell her?!" His mind raced with hundreds of thoughts about Elizabeth and his situation.
He stopped on one thing, the ring, where was the ring? He looked around for it hoping it didn't get thrown to far in the crash, but luckily he spotted the box by a tree.
It was a couple feet away, he put his hooves under him and pushed up making him stand. James wasn't expecting to go so high up, his legs were way longer than expected, he was not used to standing on all fours so he wobbled and struggled to stay standing, he eventually spreaded his legs further apart to keep himself standing.
He doubted he could even walk with these but he needed that ring.
He walked towards it with determination in his eyes. He ended up stumbling way to far right, then way too far left.
He then stumbled and fell right in front of the box, he reached his hooves out and pulled the box closer and struggled to open it, James had to be sure the ring was still in it, he eventually opened it finding the ring inside undamaged "Whew...thank god..." he sighed, a wave of relief washing over him..
He closed the box and held it close to his chest "Okay, I don't care if I look like this I'm gonna get to Elizabeth and I'm gonna propose to her" he said to himself "Maybe she'll like it? She does really like the show..." He had to admit, he wasn't to confident in this idea at all.
But he needed to get out of this forest and find help or shelter, it was getting colder and colder out. He knew one important thing about bugs, they did not do well against the cold.
A problem popped into his mind, how would he find a safe place if he can't even walk right and also hold a box? He didn't have hands or pockets, he could maybe set it on his back? But it would probably fall off, he only had one other option really, he grabbed it with his mouth and stood up.
It wasn't very pleasant tasting but he tried not to think about it, he started to try and walk.
It was hard to not get his legs tangled together when walking , they were so long, he was not used to walking on all fours at all, they'd send him crashing Into the ground a lot during his walk, that resulted in him hitting his muzzle in the dirt.
Yeah having your face extend outward also was new, and painful when he faceplanted, this happened a lot while walking.

James had been walking for what he assumed were hours now, he got this information from the sun now setting and the moon beginning to rise, he still hasn't found a good place to stay in this cold weather.
His knees were pretty scuffed up, and his nose was bleeding from hitting it when falling.
As he walked he suddenly spotted a cabin a couple meters away. Joy filled him while he went to run to it, he forgot that he's actually never tried running with these legs before.
This resulted in him tripping, falling, and rolling the rest of the way to the cabin, he slammed against the door and fell backwards hitting the ground with a thud, he groaned and puked the ring box back up that he had accidentally swallowed in the rolling.
"...this...sucks...so much..." He groaned and sat up, he grabbed the box again and went to open the door, he discovered that the door was locked "You can't be serious" he growled having enough of this day, his speech was muffled from the box "fine you don't wanna open the normal way, then I'll just bust you down" he backed up and ran at the door making sure not to trip this time. He then slammed against the door and was sent flying backwards into the trees.
He dangled from branches his eyes rolling in his head "Okay...that's a strong door..." He moaned and heard a cracking sound "crap" the branches broke and he fell to the ground.
He huffed and walked towards the door "So...sick...of this...crappy day..." He groaned and stood up, he glanced over to the right of the door and saw keys hanging on a hook, he looked up at the sky "I'm not sure what gods are out there but you really, really suck and I hate you" he set the box on the ground and grabbed the keys with his mouth, they tasted like rusty metal, he shivered at the taste, he then turned the key in the lock and it unlocked.
He chuckled victoriously and pushed the box in the house and walked in, he kicked the door closed behind him and spit the keys out.
The first thing he saw was a fireplace and firewood "Haha yes now the gods now of my hate for them so they give me good fortune haha" he laughed and walked to the fire "Alright...how do I light this thing?".
He sat there for a while thinking about it and decided to clack two rocks together until they made a spark, this took a long time with little success. He grumbled as he clacked the rocks together harder, he felt a tingling sensation in his head but ignored it as he focused on trying to make a fire, there was then a green spark and a fire started in the fireplace "Haha once more I am granted victory thank you kind gods" he chuckled and laid down on the rug on the floor by the fire, he pulled the box close to him and watched the flames. Already he felt warmer.
"Alright after this I'm gonna find a way out of this forest and get to Elizabeth, then try and explain that I'm me. Then I propose to her, then we try and fix me, yeah this should go good...hopefully" James laid his head down and sighed as he closed his eyes trying to get some rest for the night. He had a long journey ahead of him.
James drifted through a black green stared filled void, he discovered that he was his human self again, he looked around, he was aware that he went to sleep so maybe this is one of those lucid dreams? He tried to make a tiger with wings appear, he tried his hardest, but nothing happened at all.
"Hmm so...not a lucid dream.." He deduced as he continued to flout, he tried swimming but couldn't go the way he wanted "well this dream sucks..." He grumbled.
Suddenly he started hearing whispering voices, hundreds of them, they were getting louder every second, as they did hundreds of glowing green eyes appeared in front of him, they were getting closer and closer.
"S-stay back...I-I" James stuttered in fear while looking for a weapon,, he decided to pull off his only weapon, his shoe. "I have a shoe!" He yelled trying to sound threatening, but was absolutely terrified.
The voices were now at normal speaking volume and the eyes were inches from him, James thought he was going to die.
"Enough" A woman said in a reverberating voice much like James' voice. All the other voices stopped, suddenly green flames appeared in front of James.
The flames dissipated, a large bug horse was now standing in front of him smirking, she had green hair with wings, James recognized her as a certain pony he wished to never meet in real life. Chrysalis, queen of the changelings.
"Hmm... now this is an odd sight" She said looking at James while circling him. Somehow she was able to walk even without touching the ground, she had a smirk on her face as she examined him "I thought I was going to meet my little sister, but instead I run into...an ape? Or" her eyes started flowing green as James felt a sharp pain in his head, her eyes then stopped glowing "a human? Oh such odd creatures, hmm I never expected this".
James rubbed his head, the pain subsided "d-did you go into my memories?" He asked looking terrified.
"Oh you catch on fast" She answered while walking closer to him.
"Stay back!" He demanded trying to sound threatening, but it didn't work as he only got a smirk from her.
"Hehe you really think you can scare me little human?" She fired a green beam from her horn that hit James in the chest, he screamed in pain as he held his chest in pain "you`re pathetic, I'm not sure how you got here but I'm going to tear your weak mind apart to find out, unfortunately doing so will most likely cause you to lose your mind, but I don't mind that a bit" she charged up her horn, her eyes started glowing as James felt the pain in his head again.
"Aghh!!!" He screamed in pain as he saw flashes of his memories, he knew she was seeing all his memories everything he's been through, everything he's thought of, he saw images of his family his friends and then Elizabeth, he saw all their dates, all the dinners they've been to, all the movies they watched together and all the times they've said they loved each other. He wasn't going to let her tear his mind apart, he still needed to get back to Elizabeth and his family.
"What?...you`re resisting?...you have more fight in you then I thought...no matter what, I'm still going to find out how you got here" She declared with a wicked smile as she put more strength in the spell.
"Ngh...hrr arghh!!" He yelled as he fought back, purple electricity pushed back against Chrysalis' magic "I'm not letting you take my memories!!!" He yelled, a large wave of magic flew back at at her.
"W-what?!" She was shocked as the blast flew at her and hit her, she screamed in pain and the world shattered, as James now woke up.
He jumped up panting and looking around frantically, seeing the "dream" was over "God...what was that even about?.." He groaned feeling exhausted, he saw the fire was out, a ray of sunshine hit his eyes.
He sat up and rubbed his head, he then heard the front door open and the sound of hooves clopping on the wood floor, his head slowly turned around fearing Chrysalis was here, but instead of seeing the bug queen, a mare and stallion were standing there looking shocked and scared at him.
"Um...hi?" He tried smiling friendly, but that made them scream and the stallion charged his horn "Oh god no, I don't want-" he was cut off by being hit by the magical blast, he slammed against the wall "ngh...ow" he whined and grabbed his box and ran to the window and jumped out it, he broke through the glass and then ran down the dirt path through the woods.
"Next time you won't be running freak!" He heard the stallion yell from the cabin.
A long while had passed of continuous running, he couldn't see the cabin in sight so he slowed his speed down to a walk. He looked down where he was shot by the magical blast and saw he was bleeding badly "ngh crap...I wasn't expecting a unicorn to attack me..." His eyes widened with realization that was a mare and a stallion, things clicked together now, he wasn't on earth anymore, he was in Equestria now.
His mind raced, Chrysalis said she was thinking she'd see her sister in that weird void, but from what James remembered from the show she didn't have a sister, but I guess in this universe she does, he would have to look out for her as well.
He went back to thinking about his situation, he's now in an alternate Equestria in the body of a changeling who's now being most likely hunted by Chrysalis and her sister. James needed to figure out how to get home some how and out of this body, he needed help though, he can barely use this body which is no good, he needs to get help and who better then the ponies known for helping, the Mane Six.
Judging by the look of the forest and those two ponies he saw, he's somewhere near a town, the only town he's seen in the show so far is Ponyville, so that's where he'd try and head to since this was a dirt path. Ponies must have walked along it, so there should be tracks leading to the town.
He looked at the path and saw faint tracks "haha yes" he said as he started to follow them.

Chrysalis jumped awake "...that damn ape...hrrr how could he have that magic?" She growled, when the memories she was able to gain rushed through her mind "..So that's how...hmm he'll be a lot more dangerous to deal with now, though it will take him quite some time to figure out the power he has, as well as how to control it" she chuckled hatching a plan.
"Oh yes James you keep wandering around enjoy these moments you have because I'm coming and I'm going to make you suffer" She laughed maniacally.

James eventually ventured out of the woods, after three hours of following the tracks on the path, his legs were sore and tired from all the walking. The box in his mouth was leaving a very bad taste.
He looked around to see if all his walking actually got him somewhere, there were some grassy hills, a little familiar looking cottage with a path that lead to the town, he's seen so much of in the show, the town called Ponyville, he smiled slightly as he walked towards the town.
As he got closer to the town his vision started to blur, he shook his head to try and clear it, but his legs started feeling really weak all of a sudden, he started stumbling as he walked.
He started feeling light headed , he remembered his open wound he got from the unicorn that attacked him, he looked down and saw a lot of blood gushing out, he stumbled forward "o-oh crap..." He mumbled, he looked at the town then tried running to it to get help but he stumbled forward more and fell to the ground, the box tumbled to the ground in front of him.
"H-help..." He barely yelled, he had no strength left to yell any louder, his mind was pretty clouded at the moment, but with the rest of his strength, he forced his head up and lifted his head up and yelled "help!..." After the word left his mouth his head fell to the ground.
He struggled to think, the only thoughts that were able to slip through the clouds were 'I feel so tired, I should sleep, I need rest, I'm going to die if I sleep' these raced through the mush that was his brain.
He tried reaching for the box but his leg felt so heavy, he was struggling to stay awake but was failing, his vision started darkening "n-no...I...still need...to se...el...beth..." He mumbled as his vision went black and was swallowed by unconsciousness.
~~~~~~~~~~<Fluttershy's Cottage>~~~~~~~~~~
Fluttershy was feeding her animals, outside and in her house. She was smiling softly as she did so, she loved making her animals happy.
As she was finishing feeding them all, she heard a faint sound, she looked around for the source of it but couldn't see anything. She heard it again, but this time it was a bit louder, it sound like somepony was calling for help.
Fluttershy ran to the area where she heard the call for help,, she looked around looking for anypony and spotted a black figure laying on the ground, she ran towards them but skidded to stop when she was close enough to see who was laying on the ground.
The pony was actually a changeling, but not just any changeling it was a queen changeling, she almost looked like Chrysalis except she had a long magenta mane and tail, her horn looked different.
Fluttershy backed up slowly getting ready to run away but stopped when she noticed the small pool of green blood that was growing under the changeling, she hesitantly stepped closer and rolled the changeling over slightly to look for any wounds, she saw a large open wound with blood leaking out of it, she flinched back seeing it.
She looked around seeing if there was anypony else around or any changelings, she wasn't sure what to do, she couldn't leave her there to suffer and die, she walked over and pulled the changeling onto her back carefully, she then went to go back to her cottage but stopped seeing a small black box on the ground, she picked it up with her wing and made her way to her cottage.

James moaned while waking, he didn't really sleep, he kinda was in a black void, he couldn't really think in the void, he just sat there, it was really weird and uncomfortable.
Now that James thought about it he was actually laying on something very comfortable and soft, and he felt very warm. He shuffled around and felt a blanket on him 'Oh thank god it was a dream, I'm must have dreamt driving to Elizabeth's' he thought with a smile and opened his eyes, instead of his bedroom he saw what looked like a living room, he looked under the blanket at himself and saw the black shell that covered his body and grumbled "Still a changeling..." He grumbled, hearing a woman's voice come from him "and a girl...".
James huffed and tried to recall how he got here, he was walking he realized he was bleeding a lot and passed out. Thinking about the wound, he looked at his chest and found bandages wrapped around him where the wound was "huh...so someone patched me up...who would get that close to a changeling and help one?" He thought about it and came to a realization "I'm in Fluttershy's house".
Fluttershy is really the only pony that would help an injured changeling. James got off the couch and looked around, oddly there were no animals, or Fluttershy around, normally this place is full of animal. James walked around the room looking at everything closely, it was really weird, it was like a 3D version of the cartoon. It looked so real.
"Man this is weird...kinda cool...but mostly weird..." James said while rubbing his hoof on a table, he then looked around the room, now that he was in a house he really wanted to see what he looked like now, he'd only been able to guess his appearance through touch and imagination. James walked around looking for a mirror, he actually hadn't seen much of Fluttershy's house from inside in the show.
After walking around the first floor of the somewhat big house and not finding a mirror or something reflective, he was standing at the bottom of the stairs looking up them "ok...stairs...simple enough just gotta go...yup...just go simple as that one leg at a time...alright..." He hadn't moved at all
"C'mon! Stop being scared and just go!" He yelled at himself and put his front left leg on the first step "ha see not that hard" he praised himself and put his other leg on the next step, he then moved the first leg to the third step and then his second to the fourth, at this moment he was stretched out on the stairs, his back legs still at the bottom of the stairs "oh yeah...you two still need to move...ok" he put his first back leg on the first step then his second on the second step "haha alright doing good, how far form the top am I now?" He looked up to see there were a lot more steps ahead "...crap" he moaned.

James eventually got to the top of the steps "Oh thank god..." He collapsed to the floor from tiredness "stupid long legs...stupid stairs...stupid..stupid" he grumbled and stood back up, and huffed "Now that mirror" he walked around the second floor and found the bathroom "haha yes success!" He walked in and turned to the mirror and looked at himself "oh god...I look like Chrysalis...is that racist?" He thought about it for a moment "yeah I'm not gonna try and think about that to much" he mumbled before looking back at the mirror, he had long purple hair and purple eyes, his horn was very dangerous looking "Man, everyone's gonna run seeing me..." He mumbled.
James heard shuffling coming from another room and walked out of the bathroom "hello? Any-pony there?" He got no answer, and started looking for the source of the sound, he followed the sound all the way to a bedroom "um...hello?" He heard the shuffling, he looked at the bed 'didn't Fluttershy have that secret hiding spot under her bed for nightmare night?' He questioned himself and crouched down, he then lifted the blankets up and peeked under the bed.
James saw Fluttershy huddled under the bed surrounded by blankets and pillows, upon seeing James Fluttershy eeped and shuffled back further away "oh no no no I'm not gonna hurt you, I really could never do that honestly, I just wanted to say thanks for helping me I feel a lot better now hehe" James chuckled lightly.
"Oh um your welcome" Fluttershy said very very quietly with a small smile.
"Um...I'm just gonna...go back to the forest now...so...bye" he let the beds blanket fall down and started walking away.
"W-wait you can't go, your injuries aren't fully healed and you could get an infection, you'll have to stay here...um if that's ok" she said crawling out from under the bed.
"Oh no no you've already done so much for me...I can take care of myself I'm sure" he said and smiled, he then thought about it, he knew little to nothing of medicine or Changeling biology "um...you sure I won't be too much of a bother?".
"Oh no you won't be at all" she smiled.
"Well...if you say so" he replied, he really didn't feel good about this, he felt like he was taking advantage of her.
"You should probably lay down you don't want to open your stitches" she said with a smile.
"Oh yeah your right, don't need to have that thing open again" he chuckled, and walked back to the stairs with Fluttershy only to dread at what he saw, stairs going down "crap...walking up them was already hard enough..." He moaned and attempted to walk down the stairs, he ended up tumbling down the stairs "doh! Gah! Ow! Ngh! How long are these stairs" he said on each step he hit until hitting the bottom.
"Oh my are you alright?!" She ran to him instantly, she quickly started to check his whole bodyto make sure he was alright, he was besides some scrapes and bruises.
"Yeah...I think..." He groaned rubbing his head "I'm just not used to walking on all fours down stairs...".
"What do you mean?" She looked at him confused.
"Hm?...oh um well I wasn't like this originally, I was a..hm how do I explain this, I was something that stood on two legs and didn't have fur or a shell, in fact I looked nothing like a pony" he explained the best he can.
"Oh...maybe you hit your head to hard on the stairs" she said while putting her hoof on his head.
"No I'm serious I wasn't this two days ago, I don't even know how I became this, I just woke up like this" he said while standing back up.
"Um...ok..." She said obviously not believing him.
He sighed "whatever...I wanna see Twilight maybe she can help".
"How do you know about Twilight?" She questioned.
"Oh...um...well...I watched you and your friends..." He said slowly but regretted it seeing Fluttershy back up slightly "No, no, not like that gah, I'm stupid, ok where I'm from...there was this box that allowed me to see stuff and I watched you and your friends solve problems...like nightmare moon, discord, chrysalis...um yeah this isn't sounding less creepy" he groaned.
"So a magic box allows you to watch us?.." She asked.
"Yeah...can we just go see Twilight?..." He really, really wanted to get out of this situation.
"Well...I'm not sure that'd be a good idea, you would probably scare a lot of the other Ponies in town, no offense" she explained.
"Damn it...you`re right...and no offense taken I'm not friendly looking" he sighed "Okay, anyway can we sneak to Twilights?".
"Um why don't you just disguise yourself?" She asked.
"I don't really know how I'm new to this whole body...but I could try" he focused on trying to change how he looked, purple flames engulfed his body "Oh dear god I'm on fire!!0!" He ran around screaming and rolling on the ground trying to put out the flames, he sat up and blew at his fire covered leg but stopped when he noticed it didn't hurt "oh...it doesn't burn".
Fluttershy ran over and dumped a bucket of water on him putting out the flames.
"...thanks Flutters" he stood back up and shook his head getting the water off "Okay, now let's try this again" he took a couple deep breaths and closed his eyes focusing, the flames washed over his body and he was now a green mare with a blue mane and tail.
"Wow..." Fluttershy said looking at the change.
"Huh...cool I'm not at all deformed...luckily" he was looking himself over, unfortunately he didn't have a cutie mark since he couldn't really make one "well...that may stick out...but it will have to do, ok I'm ready to go to Twilights".
"Um ok" Fluttershy said and walked to the door followed by James.
'Okay, now I just gotta focus on keeping this form and we should be good, won't be hard at all' James thought as he walked but he could have sworn he heard a deep chuckling from somewhere but put it off to be his imagination.
The universe chuckled darkly at the poor fool who decided to jinx himself.
James and Fluttershy walked down the dirt road in town, Fluttershy had a small smile on her face as she walked, all while James was glancing all around sweating.
His eyes were wide as he looked at each and every pony around him, he soon discovered that he needed to focus on the form he was in to stay in it, it was easy at first until they got into town. Now all he could see were different types of ponies walking around.
He was struggling greatly to focus on his pony form, but there were so many different ponies all over, each one he saw he felt his body almost change to look like them. It was even worse when he saw a Unicorn or Pegasus, when he saw their horns or wings he almost gained them.
"H-hey Fluttershy c-can we please hurry?...k-kinda struggling to stay in this form" he said with a nervous chuckle as he walked behind her.
"Oh yes of course" Fluttershy said as she picked up the pace before she was stopped by an earth pony.
"Hey Fluttershy, I wanted to say thanks again for taking care of my pet ferret while I was out of town, it means a lot" the blue earth pony said to Fluttershy.
"Oh you`re very welcome, the little guy was so well behaved while you were gone" Fluttershy said with a warm smile James' eye twitched as he now had wings because he had just spotted Derpy.
The blue earth pony glanced at James "is your friend alright?" He asked Fluttershy.
"Oh yes she's just feeling a little under the weather, I'm taking her to one of my friends for some help" Fluttershy explained.
"Oh that's goo-wait weren't you just a pegasus?" The blue earth pony asked James a little shocked.
"Huh?" James looked at his back to find it bare now, he then glanced up to find a horn, he chuckled nervously once more "um...nope...m-must have been seeing things" he was hopping hoof to hoof, he was feeling extremely uncomfortable and itchy now.
"Ummm....ok..." The blue earth pony said confused and glance back at Fluttershy and whispered "you sure she's ok?...she seems...odd" he glanced at James and his eyes widened "I thought you were unicorn?!".
James looked up to find no horn, he then looked at his back to find no wings, he then chuckled and slowly looked back at the pony "hehe nope...j-just seeing things...maybe you should head home and lay down buddy".
The blue earth pony squinted at him suspiciously, he then closed his eyes and opened them, they instantly went wide "y-your...what?...I...ahhh!!!" He ran away screaming.
James looked at himself to find a horn and wings on his body "hey Flutters? Can we head to Twilights now?".
"Um yeah we should probably go" Fluttershy said looking at James before quickly galloping towards Twilights, she was fallowed by James who was trying to make his horn go away.
Eventually, after some running, the two got there and James was able to get the horn to disappear finally.
"Whew...thank god...I'm glad no one saw that" James said as he took one step forward, his nose twitched and sneezed, he felt his flames wash over his body when he sneezed.
He then heard ponies all around him gasp "...oh no..." He said and he glanced around in fear.
All around him were ponies looking at him their expressions differing from fear to anger, James whipped his head around to look at all of them, his won fear was increasing with each face he saw, he couldn't help it when he accidentally changed into one of them.
"Hey, it's trying to pretend to be a pony!" One yelled.
"To late freak we already saw what you really looked like!" A unicorn yelled.
"Let's chase it out of town, no one wants one of those things around here!" An earth pony yelled.
All the other ponies yelled in agreement as they started slowly getting closer.
"W-wait n-no..I'm not gonna hurt anyone! I swear!" James yelled as he backed away from them helplessly.
He kept changing between the ponies in the crowd uncontrollably.
None of the ponies were listening to his please as they marched closer to him, unicorns then started firing spells at him.
James was able to dodge them but just barely, he quickly ran as fast as he could away from the crowd of ponies.
The crowd chased after him with fury in their eyes, James ran as fast as his legs could, he ran out of the town and towards the woods but he didn't stop.
He kept running until he couldn't hear hooves hitting the ground, he ran through bushes and branches getting scratches and small cuts in doing so, he eventually had to stop from exhaustion.
James was panting and keeping his head down at the ground.
He glanced around and his eyes widened, his head shot up with a terrifying realization, he ran straight into the Everfree Forest, he was now was absolutely lost.
"O-ok don't panic...don't panic" he told himself as he slowly started backing up "Just walk backwards and you'll make it back out, simple as tha-eep!" Something touched him from behind, he jumped and started running while screaming, what he didn't know was what poked him was a small stick.
James ran around in the forest screaming his head off, the ponies in town could hear the screaming and it sent shivers down each and every one of their spines as they heard it.
James ran until he tripped on a small rock and stumbled before hitting the ground rolling and slamming into a tree "...why...does...this place.....hate me?..." He groaned laying on the ground, he sat up and looked around "no creepy dangerous animals good...good good good...ok..." He slowly stood up and walked very slowly.
His head shot in the direction of each sound he'd hear, if it's either a bird or a cricket "j-just relax...just relax" he told himself as he walked.
"Maybe I can find Zecora...hehe....please?" He begged to whatever gods were out there, he decided to try and focus on something else besides the horrible death forest he was in "ok ok...um...I wonder...um...what Elizabeth would do in this situation...probably just mess with people...hehe yeah she`d totally be changing into the princesses and just act like a wack job..." He chuckled lightly at imagining it.
"Yes Twilight, my new student is now Pinkie Pie, I'm planing on making her an alicorn as well" James said in a Celestia voice. He laughed at his own joke "Oh, I totally could mess with people too, just pretend to be a princess walk around, and feed off all the love the ponies in town have towards Celestia. It'd be just so muc-did I just say feed off love?" That made him stop in his tracks, he did say that, he said with almost no second thought.
He was scared, he would never do that, it would be just evil, that's something Chrysalis would do! It's something she has done though a little different, still he just said something the monster queen would.
Why would he think of saying that? It made no sense, he didn't even know how to eat love, and yet, he said it like he's done it before, none of this made any sense. Was staying in this body messing with his mind? That was an even scarier thought, what if he loses his mind being in this body.
James looked around, realizing he hadn't been paying attention to where he's been walking this whole time.
He was standing by a small pond, he walked over to it and looked at his reflection, he didn't recognize it at all, it didn't have his brown hair or his green eyes.
This thing he was looking at had a long sharp horn and fangs, this thing was a hideous monster, but it looked sad, he looked sad.
He laid down by the pond looking at his reflection, he missed his old self, when he looked normal and wasn't a freak or monster.
He sighed then turned away from the pond "My life's ruined....I`ll never see my family or friends...or...Elizabeth...i`ll never see any of them...i`ll just have disappeared or died on Earth...but here...ill just be attacked and wanted dead, chased around or yelled at..." tears accumulated in his eyes and he began sobbing at the life he'd lost, everything he'd ever loved now gone and out of reach "..why did this happen to me?" He asked through his sobs.

Hours passed since James realized he lost his entire life, he was laying on the cold ground in the dark forest, the moon was hanging in the sky.
James sniffled, tears still streamed down his face but less then a few hours ago. He didn't know what to do, he didn't know where to go, he lost everything, it was darker and colder with everything he's lost, he felt empty inside.
He heard a twig snap nearby, but he didn't care, if some animal wanted to come eat him he didn't care. What was the point in living? He'd lost everything and was trapped in this monsters body, he gave up.
The sound of footsteps got closer and closer till they stopped behind James.
"Is she alive?" A male reverberating voice asked.
"I can't tell, I can't hear her through the hive mind" another male voice said, they sounded almost exactly the same.
"...poke her" the first one said.
"What no you poke her" the second defended.
"I told you to do it first" the first whispered aggressively.
"Well...um...you just do it" the second said.
'These two are like little kids...' James thought as he listened.
"No you do it!" The first yelled.
"You!" The seconded yelled back.
"No you!"
"No you!"
"No you!"
"No you!"
"SHUT UP!!!" James yelled as he stood up glaring at the two, he saw they were both changelings.
They both jumped back before getting down on the ground with there heads to the ground.
"S-sorry q-queen..." The one on the right said.
"Y-yes sorry we didn't mean to anger you, your highness" the one on the left said.
"Stop kissing ass..." The one on the right whispered and shoved the other one.
"You're the kiss ass" the left one shoved back, then the right one tackled him, they were rolling on the ground in a black ball of legs and wings.
'God these two are annoying...though kinda funny to watch, wait did they say queen? Hmm...oh I got the ideas' he chuckled in his mind, before he then cleared his throat "both of you stop!" He did his best royal sounding voice.
They both stopped and got back into Boeing positions "Good, now tell me why are you both here?" James asked with a raised brow.
"W-we were ordered by Queen Chrysalis to find you, we've been looking everywhere, b-but we couldn't find you". The right one said.
"W-we're sorry Queen, we beg you not to punish us" the left one pleaded.
"Hmm...I'll spare you both...for now...as long as you two stop annoying me" James glared at them making them flinch.
"O-of course" they both said simultaneously.
"Great, now tell me what were Chrysalis's exact orders?" James asked.
"We were ordered to locate you and escort you back to hive" the left one explained quickly.
'Hmm...either these two don't know that Chrysalis wants me dead, or they're still scared of me even though they know that.
Or these two are just dumb' he was leaning towards a mixture of dumb and not knowing "Okay I will come with you both".
"Alright, follow us your highness" the right one said while they started walking, James followed them, he noticed both of them were very, very nervous.
James poked them both making them jump, he chuckled at them. The two changelings chuckled nervously and continued walking, James kinda felt bad, he just scared these two who were already scared "Sorry about that you two..." He rubbed the back of his neck.
"No need to apologize my queen" the right one said.
"Yeah we're fine" the left one said.
James still felt bad as he followed them, he thought about how he was gonna lose these two, since he really didn't want to give Chrysalis the satisfaction of killing him.
How would he get away from them, he could run but they might find him again, he thought about it and came up with an idea "Hey you two, I order you both to run about three miles away from me...I...need some time alone to...think" he hoped this would work.
"Um..okay Queen we'll see you... I guess.." The left one said before he started running. "Yeah..." The right one agreed as he ran after the left one.
"Wow...are all of them that easy?" He sighed in relief and started walking the opposite direction of the two "Okay now what should I do with my miserable self?.." He glanced around as he walked, still no sightings of a manticore or other dangerous animals "hmm, maybe it's because I'm a changeling Queen? It's plausible".

After some hours of walking, the sun was rising, James looked extremely tired. He got no sleep the entire night.
"So tired...this stupid forest never ends..." He grumbled as he walked, he eventually saw a large tree with a large hole in the bottom, he walked over and looked in.
There were no animals or anything in it, he crawled in and laid down.
"Hmm...this is nice..." He smiled faintly and yawned "just gonna close my eyes for a bit" he closed them and was out instantly.
James opened his eyes to find he was once more in the black void with green stars "crap..." He looked around "Okay, here again..." This time he could actually walk though.
Chrysalis appeared with an annoyed look on her face "Do you never sleep or something? I've been having a very difficult time finding you".
James felt having a bit of fun with the bug queen to cheer himself up a bit "and you are?..." He asked with a confused expression.
Chrysalis's annoyed expression turn to one of confusion "What do you mean `who am i?` You know who I am!" She yelled.
"Hmm...wait wait let me guess... John?" He asked.
"No" She looked annoyed again.
"How about Bobby?".
"No..." She started gritting her teeth.
"Hmm, Chris?"
"Close" she almost smiled.
"I wanna say Harold".
"Arghhh!!! How can you go from Chris to Harold?! I said you were close now your further away!!!" She yelled looking absolutely pissed.
"Sorry Chrysalis, I thought I was hitting the target with that last one" James said with a smug smile.
Chrysalis's expression turned to realization "You little monkey...you were just messing with me?!".
"Eeyup" he smirked.
Chrysalis growled and she shot a green Magic blast at him, he was sent flying backwards from the hit.
"Ngh...yeah...maybe messing with her wasn't the best idea...nah totally worth it" he chuckled as he sat up holding his shoulder where he was hit.
Chrysalis walked over "I'm glad you're enjoying yourself monkey..." She growled as she stood in front of him.
"Hehe...thanks Bug face...it's always good to have a laugh from time to time.." He stood up.
"Hmm yes I think I'll have a good laugh. When I'm tearing your pathetic mind apart!" Chrysalis exclaimed as she started charging her horn.
"Before you go and do that...can you tell me why I'm here and why I'm in this body?.." James asked as he rubbed his injured shoulder.
"How should I know? I only just recently found out about you being in that body" Chrysalis said.
"Worth a shot...okay so what do you know about this body then?" He asked her, she must know something about this body.
"Oh I'll gladly enlighten you, monkey..." She smiled wickedly which creeped James out, her horn then sparked and she fired a magic blast into James head.
James stumbled back holding his head "Ahg! ...w-what did you do!?" His head was pounding greatly.
"Oh just giving you what that body has forgotten, enjoy monkey hehehe" she chuckled and disappeared.
"What the hell...is with all your ominous speeches!?...oh...oh crap..." He stumbled back before falling back into a completely black void.

James groggily woke up, he rubbed his head, he had his hands, so that meant he was in the dream void still, he looked around the room he was in, the walls were grey and rocky, even odder, he was laying on a bed "what the hell?..." He stood up and walked around.
"We both know how dangerous it is to explore outside of the hive" the voice sounded like chrysalis but much younger.
"I know Chrysalis, but being stuck in here all day every day is getting annoying" another voice said, it sounded like a child too, but it was also familiar as well.
"There's also training for being a queen sister, it's not just sitting around playing with rocks, be happy that we have these powers" Chrysalis said, the voices were getting closer.
"I am very happy with them sister, but not suing them to their full extent is just foolish, we could be going around all over taking all the love we can with these powers.
Our race is dying and have become pathetic roaches, but imagine when we're ruling, all of Equestria will be ours, the princesses will be crushed under our hooves, they'll be no match at all for us together" the voices were right outside the room "we could have all those pathetic ponies in chains" the two walked in, James saw a young chrysalis walk in first but behind her is what really shocked James, he saw a younger version of the changeling he was.
"Hmm...I will agree with you on that sister" young Chrysalis said.
"Of course you do, it's a good plan" Chrysalis' sister said with a smile.
James jaw was on the ground at his realization, he was in the body of Chrysalis' sister.
James stood there stunned just staring at the sister of Chrysalis, she was just as power hungry as Chrysalis even at this age.
He honestly couldn't believe he was in her body, how could it have happened and where is she if he's in her body?
Chrysalis was reading through some scrolls, her sister was practicing her magic, levitating objects while also changing them into different things.
James soon came to realize he was like a ghost to them, they could see touch or hear him, he couldn't touch them either.
It was interesting really, he figured all this must be a memory of chrysalis' sisters body.
Suddenly the world went blurry to James and then cleared, he was now somewhere else, it looked like a throne room, but the walls had holes and webbing all over.
He looked around and saw a changeling queen sitting in the throne, she had light blue mane and eyes, at the bottom of the throne were two smaller thrones, sitting in them was chrysalis and her sister.
There was worker changeling standing in front of the thrones "your highness, food is running very low, I'm afraid we don't have enough food for everyone in the hive..." The changeling said with a sad expression.
The Queen changeling sighed "we must make do with what we have until the gathering group returns with more food" she said with a sad expression.
"Why not just take some ponies from a nearby town and drain the love they have?" Chrysalis' sister said.
"We cannot do that...we are not monsters who ponynap ponies" the Queen said looking down at her daughter.
"We're far stronger then any pony, it's pathetic how we're living, we could even take the love from the environment around us, but no you prefer starvation" Chrysalis' sister said glaring at her mother.
"...I will hear no more of this, go to your room" the Queen ordered.
Chrysalis' sister growled and got off her throne and made her way to her room, the Queen sighed rubbing her head with her hoof.
"Ok so...little miss genocide wanted to kidnap ponies and drain them of basically life...I now know why the changelings were scared of me..." He said to himself, the world started to blur once more.
When everything cleared he was now in what looked like another bedroom though much larger including the bed.
There was also a changeling sleeping in the bed, he looked closely and saw it was the Changeling queen. He heard hooves clopping on the stone floor quietly then the wall opened up.
In the door way stood two changelings he recognized instantly, it was Chrysalis and her sister.
"What are you two doing here?" James asked knowing they couldn't hear him.
Chrysalis and her sister walked towards the bed, Chrysalis' sister looked at her mother "sorry mother but...your rule is over" she charged her horn and touched it to her mothers head, in a purple flash their mothers heart stopped beating, Chrysalis and her sister smiled.
"Oh my god..." James was horrified, they killed their own mother, and she was a good changeling.
The world blurred once more and cleared, once more James was standing in the throne room, but this time there were two thrones side by side, sitting in the thrones were chrysalis and her sister both now adults.
"I sensed a magical energy yesterday, it was very powerful, I was thinking of investigating it, perhaps it could be of use to us?" Chrysalis' sister said.
"Hm go ahead I'll continue to run the hive, contact me when you find it" Chrysalis said.
"Of course" Chrysalis' sisters horn glowed and she teleported away, once she did the world blurred and cleared.
James was standing in a forest one he recognized, it was the one he first woke up in.
"This is where I sensed it but...there nothing" Chrysalis' sister said as she looked around the area.
James looked around too "so this where I came into this horrible new life...so then what happened to you?" He asked looking at her.
Chrysalis' sister then stumbled back and looked at her chest "w-what is this? Ngh..soul magic?!" She opened her wings and attempted to fly but she winced and fell to the ground holding her chest "n-no...this is not how I die!..." She yelled before her eyes went blank and she went limp on the ground.
James looked closely at her, her eyes were unfocused and looked soulless, then her pupils widened making James jump back "jeez!" He patted his chest as his heart was beating fast.
Chrysalis' sisters eyes slowly closed, a few feet away a small tear ripped opened, it looked like a blanket being ripped but it was flouting there, the rip was growling white, then a small blanc box fell out of it, it was the ring box James had.
"...who did this to me?...why would they?..." These were just two of the many questions James had, none would be answered.
The world blurred and slowly turned dark.

James eyes slowly opened and he was once more in the woods, but it was the woods he'd fallen asleep in.
"More and more questions..." James sighed softly and stood up, another day he'd walk around aimlessly in this strange world.
He was becoming so tired of it all, being chased, being hurt, and being hated, what was the point of it all?
James huffed and started walking, he's had enough now, if he's gonna be stuck in this miserable world then he's actually gonna do something, he was tired of moping around, he was gonna help this world, no more goofing around, no more jokes, it was time to be serious.
A snowflake then fell onto his nose catching his attention, he looked up at the sky and saw snow starting to fall, his eyes widened in happiness, memories of running and playing in the snow from childhood flooded his mind, he missed doing those things so much.
He then began running around trying to catch snowflakes on his tongue, he didn't care if he looked foolish or ridiculous, he was enjoying the fond memories he'd almost forgotten.
He eventually caught one on his tongue and smiled, he remembered doing the same thing when he was kid, things were so simple back then.
James sighed and looked up at the clouded sky, he watched the small snowflakes slowly fall, each so different none the same.
He started walking around, every breath he left out a puff of white would come out, even with how drastically different his body was, something were still the same.
James stopped walking after that thought, things were still the same even when so many are so different, his eyes soon burned with furious determination, he was gonna save this world, even if everyone on it had treated him like shit he wasn't gonna do the same to them, he loves this world and he's not gonna see it burn.
He marched in a single direction, he knew the only way to help was to go straight towards ponyvill, he could still help by telling them everything he knew, chrysalis was definitely planning something, he could warn them before it was to late.
"Finally I found you!" A green blast of magic was shot at James exploding and sending him slamming into a tree.
"Ngh..." He looked up to where it came from and saw Chrysalis.
"I knew if I sent you into those memories if be able to track your mind, and now here I find you" Chrysalis charged another blast in her horn.
"Hrrr I've had enough of you!" He yelled as his honor ignited in a purple glow, he then fired a blast of purple fire at her, Chrysalis easily dodged it.
"Hrr!!" James kept firing blast after blast at her, each time chrysalis would dodge them, James was getting angrier.
"Hehe is the little monkey getting mad now?" Chrysalis teased as she kept dodging the blasts.
James growled and kept firing, but the flames were starting to get smaller and smaller with each one he fired at her.
"Aww is someone loosing strength? How pathetic, you have the body and magic of a changeling queen and you can't even last more then a few minutes in a fight, you should be happy when I put you out of your misery" she chuckled as would barely even move and dodge the flames, half of them weren't even making it to her before they extinguished.
"Hrr..." He shot more and more flames at her, his horn kept sputtering out sparks half the time.
"Hahaha! Oh I'm sorry but it's actually hilarious watching you attempt to use magic, your like a foal attempting magic for the first time, I'll tell you this when you dead I'll be sure to remember you like this, a pathetic foal trying to use magic" she laughed hysterically.
He was now panting as his horn sputtered out some sparks, he gritted his teeth, he wasn't weak, he wasn't a foal, he wasn't gonna listen to this anymore.
"Just die already!!!" He yelled as a large purple sphere formed at the tip of his horn, he then swung his head at her sending the magic sphere shooting at her.
Chrysalis gasped as she lit her horn up, the blast hit her and exploded in bright flash of purple and green, the explosion sent James shooting into the sky with a trail of smoke, he then crashed to the ground just outside the forest.
Where the explosive happened was now a large smoking crater, trees were burnt al, around it.
James groaned as he tried to stand up, large cuts and gashes covered his body all of them leaking green blood, some was even coming out of his mouth and nose.
He was able to stand himself up but just barely, his head was pounding and his ears were ringing, even though everything was blurry he was able to focus his visor enough to see ponyvill, he started walking towards it.
But it was more like limping as he was dragging one of his back legs, it he couldn't feel it at the moment, he dragged his injured body down the dirt road into town.
Some Ponies gasped other yelled at James, but their yells went to deaf ears, James couldn't hear anything besides ringing and his heart beating, he didn't pay any attention to anyone around him he was focused on only one thing.
Some ponies got in front of him threatening him to leave but James just walked past them leaving them stunned, more and more ponies were watching James with less and less anger and fear but more with sorrow, they all saw his injured from, the green blood trail he left behind him.
James could see his destination so close now, he was almost there so close, but his legs gave out under him making him collapse to the ground just a few feet from the the crystal castle doors.
He struggled to pull himself forward towards the doors, everything was getting so dark, he lost his strength and his legs went limp, he stared at the door, he was so close and now because of his body he couldn't make it.
His eyes slowly started closing, this was it he had no more strength left to keep going, he was going to die alone in the cold.

Chrysalis appeared in the throne room of her hive, she had a few scratches and burn marks on her "hrr that little pest!...how dare he?!" She shot s blast at the wall blowing a hole in it.
"When I find him I'm gonna crush his skull under my hooves!!" She growled and paced around the throne room when she stopped as she had an idea.
"No...I won't crush his skull, I have something far better in mind for him" she chuckled and walked to her room.
Once chrysalis was in her room and looked through her books till she found what she was looking for, she looked at the one page "hehe...yes like killing two birds with one stone..." She laughed maniacally.
James slowly woke up from his dreamless sleep, he hated sleeping in this body he never got and dreams or anything just being awake while asleep it was horrible.
"She was very badly hurt worse then before, Twilight she needs help..." Fluttershy said to who James guessed was Twilight.
"Yeah and she's also a changeling queen, how do we know this isn't some kind of trick?" Twilight asked, she didn't sound like she was happy about the guest who was sleeping on her couch.
"Well...she could also not be tripping to?" Fluttershy said.
Then James heard a door open and a group of hooves clopping against the floor "alright Twilight I woke up from my nap for this what's up?" Rainbowdash asked.
"I found a changeling queen at my front door badly beaten up and out cold" Twilight explained.
"And you just let her sleep on yer couch? Now how is that a good idea?" Applejack asked in a country accent.
"I have to agree with Applejack on this one twilight" Rarity said.
"It wasn't my idea it was Fluttershy's" Twilight corrected.
"She's new to town right?" Pinkie asks as she tries to hold back her excitement.
"Yes well...we're pretty sure" twilight said not actually sure how long the changeling has been in town.
"Ok I gotta go bye!" Pinkie ran out of the room in a pink blurr.
"Well...that's great..." Rainbow said sarcastically.
James slowly sits up and rubs his head, he looks at them before jumping off the couch at them "oh my god!! I never even thought it would be possible for me to ever meet you in person!! This is like a dream come true! I mean your all really real!! This is amazing!" He cheered while hugging them all tightly, rainbow then punched him in the gut making him let go and hold his stomach.
"Ok...ill admit...I kinda deserved that...kinda wish this was a dream now...really hurts" James fell over.
"Alright twi what's her problem?" Rainbowdash growled annoyed.
"Well...from what Fluttershy's told me she's not really dangerous, she's basically the exact opposite of Chrysalis" twilight explained.
"Dang right I am...she sucks I'm AWASOME!!" James yelled as he threw his hooves in the air.
"....ok...explain" rarity asked.
"Um well...I was afraid she might be dangerous so I uh kinda...I used a spell to make her a little...loopy" twilight chuckled nervously.
"Wait....you drugged me??...shit no wonder why I feel like and orange..." James took a moment to think about what he said "what the hell kind of drugs did you give me??" He stood up and stumbled around "I need to go drink some water" he ran into a wall "this wasn't here before...".
"Ok we have a drugged changeling queen who is acting drunk, what the heck do we do with her?" Rainbowdash asked.
"Well the spell will last for a few hours, so until then we just need to watch her and make sure she doesn't do anything bad" twilight explained.
James rubbed his head trying to get ahold of his jumbled mind "I...chrysalis is planing something...I think...she kicked my ass...or...I kicked hers....or I kicked my own?...I don't know everything's all over" he rubbed his head "I...I'm her sister!!! Or...not? I'm human! I'm James!!!" He face planted and was knocked out cold.
Everypony was looking at James with confusion, except twilight who had a shocked expression.
"Did she say her name was James?" Rainbowdash asked.
"Yes wait did she say human?" Twilight asked to make sure she didn't mishear what she said.
"Yes she did wait isn't that those things you met when you went in the mirror portal?" Rarity asked.
"Yes! How would she even know that?? Unless she's from there or maybe she's been spying on us and found out about it, could that be what chrysalis is planing??" Twilight theorized.

James groaned waking up and rubbed his head, his mind was finally a lot clearer so the drugs must have worn off.
James looked around and found he was in a different room, it looked like a bedroom but not Twilights, he figured it must be a guest room.
He walked around the room looking at the different things, he still couldn't get over how realistic everything was, since he has only seen it in 2d.
He stopped walking when he got to a mirror and looked at his reflection, the smile on the changeling queen vanished and turned into a depressed frown.
James got flash backs to how all the ponies in town reacted to seeing him, he would never hurt anyone of them on purpose but they all acted like he would have bit their heads off if they came close.
"Then why are you trying to protect them?" Chrysalis asked walking into view of the mirror.
James jumped back and got in a defensive stance baring his fangs as he aimed his form at her.
"My oh my you weren't this animalistic when we last met" Chrysalis chuckled not at all afraid.
James realized he was acting much like a wild animal and got back in a standing position, he was now scared of himself, why would he act like that he's never done it before, or at least from what he remembers.
"Hehe simple answer is your body's acting on instinct, you poor foolish monkey, did you really think you'd be able to control that body?" Chrysalis chuckled as she circled James "you have no knowledge on how to control this body simple you've been using it like you normally would your body, but there's a lot more to changeling bodies then a monkey's".
"I'm not a monkey!!" James roared as his horn shot a blast at her but she moved out of the way making it hit the wall, James growled before calming and his scared look returned "w-what's happening to me?...".
"Oh your poor poor little thing" Chrysalis walked over and nuzzled James' neck calming him.
James felt a lot calmer when she did that, things were better with her, James eyes widened and he pushed her away "s-stop that!" He yelled trying to sound tuffet then how he felt.
"Hahahahaha" Chrysalis laughed wickedly "my sister loved when I did that, something we shared".
"I'm not her you bug freak!" James yelled with annoyance.
"Really? Hm then" Chrysalis levitated the mirror over and placed it in front of James "this is you?" She asked.
"N-no" he said while looking at his reflection, he hated it looking at it just reminded him of what he's lost.
"Then who is it?" She said walking behind James.
"I-it's your sister....b-but I'm not her...I'm just in her body...that doesn't make me her..." He tried to explain.
"Hm...yes...but in body and form...in magic and strength, your everything she was except in mind" Chrysalis said while she stood behind him and she moved to his ear, she whispered into his ear "but...if you were her in mind...you wouldn't have to deal with all this pain...all this hate, you could be free from this misery and memories" her horn lit up making James eyes glow green and his expression softened as he fell under her spell.
James' mind started to fog, the images of his friends becoming blurred until they were gone completely, his memories of his parents blurred before vanishing, people he's met and talked with disappearing from his mind.
Soon he got to the memories with Elizabeth, the first time they met vanished, their first date faded away, when they kissed disappeared, the times they spent together turned to black, the image of Elizabeth slowly clouded and fogged.
James' eye twitched before widening he shook his head and ducked chrysalis "s-stop!!" He yelled holding his head in pain.
"Hehehe I did enough already" Chrysalis teleported away leaving James alone.
He stumbled around the room as he struggled to think in his very jumbled mind, he winced and fell to the ground holding his head as he struggled to remember, he tried remembering his parents faces but only came up with nothing, he tried remembering his friends but got nothing, he struggled to remember Elizabeth's face but only got a blurry picture in his head.
Tears formed in his eyes as he began sobbing, this was worse then being away from them he couldn't remember them now, they were only the blank spaces of where he knew people should be.
He sobbed holding himself on the floor, he staid like that for hours and hours, his tears seeming to never end.
There was then a knocking on the door "h-hello? Um are you alright in there?" The voice of Fluttershy asked from behind the door.
"G-go away..." He sobbed and tightened himself into more of a ball, he just wanted to hide away from this world.
"Oh um...ok..." Fluttershy said backing away from the door, she the turned to the others "she's very upset and crying...".
"We heard Fluttershy" Twilight said looking at the door as they all heard the sobbing on the other side.
"Well ah can't stand here and just listen to her suffer like that, we need to somehow cheer her up" Applejack said.
"And how exactly are we supposed to do that?" Rainbowdash asked.
They all then came to the same conclusion and said all together "Pinkie".
"I'm sure one of her parties would make her feel better" Fluttershy smiled.
"Well if Pinkie can't then no one can" Applejack declared.
They all agreed on the plan and went off to find the pink party master pony.

Many hours have passed and James has continued to lay on the floor in a tight sobbing ball, his eyes now stung from the amount of tears he's shed, each new one he let out stung a bit, he continued sniffling.
James saw a pink letter slid under the door into his room, he sniffled and stood up and walked over to it, he looked at the pink paper with blue writing on it, the writing said three simple words.
Come Down Stairs
James sniffled and opened his door, he might as well see what they wanted, jams walked down the hall his head hung low as he sniffled, he noticed a blue string that lead down the hall and down the stairs, he followed it all the way down the stairs.
When he got to the bottom of the stairs he found himself in a dark room, he couldn't see anything but he could hear people shuffling around in the darkness, fear filled his body and he back up fearing this was a trap.
The lights then turned on, James covered his eyes in fear waiting for the inevitable attack, but it never came he lowered his arm and looked at the now lot room.
"SURPRISE!!!" The mane six cheered as confetti and balloons fell from the ceiling out of nowhere.
"W-what?..." James said just below a whisper as he looked at them all, the tables with gifts on them and party hats all over, then there was a loud bang from behind James followed by something hitting him from behind, he jumped and turned around in panic to see Pinkie with her party cannon, but James thought he just saw her with the others how did she? Oh yeah this was pinkie, James smiled faintly before the memories or lack of them returned making him depressed again.
"Aww this is a party you supposed to smile silly" Pinkie pulled the corners of James lips up in a smile shape and let go hoping the smile would stay but it just fell back into a sad frown.
"Um...hey look!" Pinkie pulled James over to a table with a bunch of party hats, she grabbed a purple one and put it on James head, she smiled and looked at James expecting a smile but only found a frown.
"Uh...look over there!" She pulled James over to a piñata and put a blind fold on her self and spun around swinging a bat around before falling over, she giggled and pulled the blind fold off, only to see James still depressed.
Pinkie chuckled nervously and looked around for anything to cheer her up, she saw the gift table "look presents!" She grabbed James and ran over to the table "go ahead these are all yours" Pinkie said gesturing to the presents.
James looked at pinkie then the table, he then grabbed one and slowly unwrapped it, once unwrapped he found a mirror.
"That ones mine darling, since I know a mare just loves to make sure her mane is perfect" Rarity said with a smile as she flipped her mane.
James looked at his reflection and tears formed in his eyes as he began sobbing, Pinkie grabbed the mirror and chucked it out of the room she then through the box at Rarity landing on her horn.
"Uh..uh...uh...the cake!" Pinkie dragged the sobbing James over to a table with a absolutely giant cake "girls! Help me!" Pinkie yelled as she couldn't reach the candles.
The rest of the girls ran over and made a tower of ponies to get James up top, pinkie was just below him.
"Blow out the candles and make a wish" Pinkie smiled while trying to keep hold of James, the rest of the girls were struggling to keep them up as they wobbled left and right.
James sniffled and looked at the candles, they reminded him of when he was little, but he couldn't remember his parents faces, this made him cry harder.
"Gah! No no it's ok don't cry!" Pinkie said panicking, the tower of ponies then started leaning towards the cake.
"Ah can't hold it!" Applejack yelled as they all collapsed onto the cake making cake explode out all over the room.
Everypony was absolutely covered in cake, pinkie poked her head up and looked around at the huge mess and failure, tears formed in pinkies eyes at the failure of party until she heard laughter, but it wasn't from any of the girls it was from James.
James was sitting with cake all over him laughing in tears, he wiped cake off his face and looked at it making him burst out into more laughter.
Soon everypony else was laughing and giggling, Pinkie walked over to James "what made you go from gloomy to laughy?" She asked.
"Hehe...I-it's just...this reminded me of when I was a kid...I was so excited about my cake I slipped and face planted into it hehe...my entire family laughed as I lifted my head with cake covering my face, I saw all their faces and it was so nice seeing them that happy" he rubbed some tears from his eyes before realization struck him.
He remembered his families faces, he remembered what they looked like, he remembered his friends as well, tears of happiness streamed down his face and he hugged pinkie tightly.
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! You made me remember you really are the best party pony ever!" James cheered as he hugged pinkie and cried tears of happiness.
"Your welcome" Pinkie beamed with happiness.
James scooped up some cake and smooshed it in her face, pinkie then did the same, soon an all out cake war started with everyone throwing cake at each other back and forth, the night went on like that the crystal castle filled with laughter.

Chrysalis paced back and fourth in her room practicing her spell on changeling after changeling all ending in failure.
"Hrr damn it!" She growled and slammed her hooves on the ground making the changeling in her room wince.
"What am I doing wrong?!" She growled before taking a deep breath and casting the spell once more, the changeling's eyes widened before relaxing.
"W-what's going on?..." The changeling groaned rubbing it head.
"Haha it worked!!!" Chrysalis cheered.
"What worked? Why are you so much more taller then me now??" The changeling asked confused and angry.
"Oh shut up your spoiling this for me" Chrysalis cast another spell wiping the changeling memories, she then had two others drag it away.
"Oh little monkey get ready because now my spell is ready, and you will regret ever coming to this world!" Chrysalis laughed maniacally.
Three days have passed since James' party, he explained to the girls what had happened and they all have been trying to help him gain his memories back fully, but he's been living in Twilights castle and doesn't really leave.
James yawned waking up, he crawled out of bed and stretched his legs making them pop then his necking making it cracks, he twisted his body resulting in more pops and cracks he then shook himself feeling ready to start the day.
He left his room and walked through the castle halls, he walked to the library grabbed a book and laid on one of the couches and began reading, he did this for the past three days, he had read through all of equestria hystory, there have been a lot of wars for such a friendly looking world.
He was no reading a how to magic book, yes apparently there is such a book here.
Twilight walked in and saw James she smiled and walked over "what are you reading today?" She said peaking over James' shoulder.
"Trying to figure out how to use magic" James said as he flipped to the next page.
Twilights eyes widened and sparkled with excitement "want my help??".
"Um...sure" James set the book down.
Twilight was visibly excited "ok what do you wanna learn first?".
"The basics" James replied.
"Ok" twilight teleported a rubber ball on the table in front of them "ok I want you to focus your magic on this and lift it up" twilight said as she made a note pad a quill appear.
"Alright" James closed his eyes and took a deep breath, he then focused his magic around the ball and lifted it, it was pretty easy he just imaged picking it sup with his hand.
"Ok very good" twilight made three more appear "now loft all these".
James focused on them all and tried lifting them, but it was a lot harder he could lift two but the other two were harder, he was sued to having only two hands, he took a deep breath and opened his eyes and looked at all four of the balls, instead of imagining hands he imagined just lifting all four up.
All four of the balls blew up "...ok...so...not exactly what I wanted..." He rubbed the back of his neck nervously.
Twilight made four more appear "practice makes perfect" she smiled and watched waiting for James to continue.
James huffed and focused again, all four lifted up before turning to dust "ok...this magic is really dangerous..." He groaned.
"Normally magic doesn't do that" twilight said writing all this down, she then made more balls appear.
James huffed and continued attempting to lift the balls, this went on for hours, he was able to successfully levitate them, he moved onto lifting rock balls, metal balls, and eventually he could lift pretty much anything in the room, which he gladly did so, the room was full of flouting books couches and a purple pony alicorn.
"Muahaha the powerful James can lift all!!" James cheered levitating everything in the room, that was until his horn fizzled out and everything fell to the gorund, James stumbled a bit and suddenly looked tired "w-what happened?.." He groaned.
Twilight quickly ran over worried, she then used a spell to check if James was ok "oh...your magic is very low...you must have used it all up".
"R-really?.." He rubbed his head before his stomach growled, he was extremely hungry now.
"Um maybe we should get you some breakfast?" Twilight smiled and walked with James out of the library and into the kitchen, she then made James some cereal.
James levitated the spoon with cereal on it to his mouth, he ate it and chewed before his eyes widened and he instantly spit the food out "oh god what the hells wrong with your cereal??".
Twilight got another spoon and took a bite of the cereal "what do you mean? It tastes fine".
"What?" James took another bite but spit it out, the cereal tasted rotten and disgusting, the milk tasted spoiled too "your crazy!".
"What?" Twilight was genuinely confused.
James looked through the coverts and found an apple he took a bite out of it before spitting it back up, it tasted rotten, he then ate anything else he could find in the kitchen but spit everything out, it all tasted disgusting he felt like puking.
"W-what's wrong with me?.." He looked at twilight with worry as his stomach growled, he was starving but he couldn't eat anything, he needed to eat or he'd starve to death.
"I'm not sure" twilight pondered why James couldn't eat anything.
James looked at a muffin and ate picked it up, he opened his mouth nervously and ate the thing whole and swallowed it, he sighed in relief until he felt his stomach turn and twist he groaned holding his stomach before running to the bahtroom, he then puked into the toilet as his eyes watered from the pain.
He panted barely able to keep himself up, he's never felt this sick before in his life.
Twilight walked in with a solemn expression "I...I think I know how why you can't ear anything James...".
"W-why?..." James groaned looking at her.
"Well I remembered changeling's feed of of emotions...I think that's why you can't eat anything" Twilight explained walking over and rubbed James back trying to comfort him.
"Oh...that's great..." James winced feeling his stomach grumble "so...how do I feed off of emotions?..." He asked looking up at her.
"I'm not sure..." Twilight said sadly.
James groaned and hung his head, Twilight hugged him feeling bad for him, once she hugged him James felt an odd tingling he pulled at it more and more and an explosion of wonderful taste filled him, though the more he gladly fed on the hungrier he got, he needed more so he kept taking more and more.
Twilight felt woozy and fell over passing out from exhaustion, James noticed instantly because the wonderful taste and feeling was gone now, he looked at her worriedly and shook her lightly "twilight?? Are you ok???".
"Ngh..." Twilight groaned in her sleep.
James realized he was feeding off her love and accidentally took way to much, he felt horrible...and still hungry.
He looked at twilight and pressed his head against her trying to get that feeling again but he got nothing, he grumbled "guess I can't feed off her...I already drained her..." But he was still starving, he needed more.
He then got an idea, he was in a town known for friendship, he could easily feed on everyone in town, the thought of all the love made his mouth water, he changed into his pony disguise and went to leave the castle, but he ended up running into spike.
"Oh hey um..." Spike squinted at the odd pony and realized it was James "James? Why are you a pony?".
"Oh I thought I'd just have a little stroll through town" James said with a smile.
"Oh does Twilight know?" Spike asked.
"Of course" James answered as he walked over to spike and pulled him into a hug "I ever tell you how cool you are?...".
"Um...no" Spike said weirded out.
"Well I think your the coolest per-er dragon in town" James siad, he could taste it already.
"Thanks" spike smiled.
That was it James started draining the love spike released, but spike looked tired already and he'd just started.
"Ugh...w-what's?" Spike tried to talk but passed out.
James groaned letting spike fall to the floor, he still was hungry.
He walked down the stairs and out the castle doors, he then looked towards town, he saw so many ponies walking around.
There were some walking and talking, others sitting at tables talking, he even saw fillies running around laughing.
They all looked so...delicious, James walked towards town smiling, he walked up to a group of ponies "hello I'm new to town...mind giving me some directions?..".
The green earth pony was the first to speak "oh sure just follow us" they all started walking, James could already taste their kindness.
James gladly started feeding on it as the ponies showed him around, each of them looking more and more exhausted as they walked while James looked more and more energized.
"S-sorry...I...I don't think I can keep walking...I feel...very...tired..." The green pony collapsed followed by the other two.
"Aw...you guys were so good though...to bad" James wined as he walked past them and over to other ponies, this town was full of ponies all full of love, all just waiting to be drained.

Twilight groaned waking up, she rubbed her head and looked around, she found she was still in the bathroom but James was nowhere to be seen.
She stood up and walked out of the bathroom, down the hall she saw spike passed out, she quickly ran over to him and checked him to see if he was alright she then shook him trying to wake him "spike please wake up!".
"Ngh hm?.." Spike groaned waking up "Twilight?...what happened?...where'd James go?".
"James?" Twilight asked confused before her eyes widened and she gasped, James was trying to figure out how to feed off love he must of fed off her then spike, twilight quickly ran around the castle looking for James, but she couldn't find him anywhere.
If he wasn't in the castle then he must have went outside, twilight ran outside and towards town, once there she gasped in horror, ponies all over were knocked out.
Twilight walked through town following the sleeping bodies of ponies, she then found ponies wrapped up in green slime, some stuck to the ground others to buildings, she even found one dangling on a string wrapped up in the slime.
Twilight picked up her pace and she saw a dark figure shuffling around by something on the ground, she slowly made her way towards it "h-hello?" The figure didn't react.
"Who's there??" Twilight said in a more stern voice, the figure still didn't react, she lit her horn a cast a light spell on the figure, she then gasped at what she saw.
It was James and he was spitting green slime onto a passed out filly, Twilight stumbled back "James?! What are you doing??" She yelled.
James stopped spitting out slime and looked at her "T-Twilight?" He looked at the filly then back at Twilight with a scared expression "w-what the hell have I done?..." He ran passed Twilight.
James ran down the road looking at all the ponies he'd drained, tears formed in his eyes as he ran, he couldn't have done this but he was the only one capable of doing it.
If twilight hadn't stopped him, he would have just trapped all these ponies to drain them, and he knew he'd just do it again if he staid in town, he made his way out of town and towards the forest, he was a monster that was where he belonged.
He ran as fast as he could, he ran even when he heard the calls from Twilight to stop p, he kept going and going, tears blurred his vision as he ran, he kept running till he could no longer hear the calls.
He panted and looked around, he was pretty deep in the forest far enough away so he couldn't hurt anypony.
He sat down and sniffled as he looked at the ground, his tears hitting the forest floor, ever since he's got to this place his luck has been getting worse and worse, he really did have nothing in this world, he wanted to protect ponies but now he's become a threat to them himself.
"Good gods above are you always crying?" Chrysalis mocked as she walked out of the shadows.
"Oh goody if it isn't my good ol friend Chrysalis the bug horse" James groaned and looked away from her "haven't seen you in a while, I was begging to think you'd actually left equestria, guess dreams don't come true..." He sighed.
"Oh your cute, alright little monkey I'm actually going to give you the chance to leave here" she said with a smirk.
"What? Why would you do that?" He asked suspicious.
"You've been a very very big thorn in my side as of late, one I would oh so gladly be happy to get rid of, but with all your jokes I'm not feeling up to it, so ta ta" Chrysalis started walking away.
"No wait!" James yelled standing up "I'm sorry but if you can get me out of here I'll stop mocking you, please.." He begged.
Chrysalis smiled and turned around "of course I can, a simple spell once you've figure it out" she walked over to him "so...would you like to leave?..I need you to completely agree for this to work".
"Yes I want to leave" James felt hope fill his body, he'd given up hope of going home a long time ago but now he felt it again he could actually leave, a smile grew on his face.
Chrysalis smiled and touched her horn to James her eyes then glowed green as her horn lit up, she cast the spell and James was sent spiraling into darkness, it was getting harder to think, he struggled to form thoughts.
He tried to think anything but he failed to as everything went black and he was gone.
Chrysalis looked at the now passed out monkey, she then shook him lightly "wakey wakey".
"Ngh..." His eyes opened and looked at her, he then stood up and rubbed his head "Chrysalis? Where are we?...ugh...my heads killing me".
"Hm who are you?" Chrysalis smiled.
"What kind of question is that? I'm Queen Antennae your sister" she glared at Chrysalis.
Chrysalis smiled and laughed triumphantly "oh you have no idea how good it is to hear that sister".
Antennae continued glaring "what in Tartarus is wrong with you?".
"Oh I'll tell you on the way to the hive, I also have a new plan to take over equestria I think you'll like it sister" Chrysalis smiled as she started casting the teleportation spell.
"Hm if it's anything like how your acting, I won't like it" she growled waiting for the spell to commence.
~~~~~~~~~~<Changeling Hive Six Hours Later>~~~~~~~~~~
Antennae was walking through the hive, her sister was walking with her keeping an eye on her, it was getting on her nerve quite a bit "you keep looking at me and I'll bite your head off sister..." She growled.
"I had forgotten how grumpy you can get" Chrysalis smirked.
Antennae huffed "Yeah yeah I know I'm crabby deal with it!...Now tell me what this amazing plan of yours is".
"Fine, my plan is we take all of the swarm and surround the town that is home to the elements of harmony, then-" Chrysalis was cut off.
"Aren't those the girls that ruined your little wedding?" Antennae smirked.
Chrysalis gritted her teeth "yes...they are".
"So this is a revenge plan? Oh now I'm really looking forward to this plan" Antennae chuckled.
"Hrr just listen! Once we have the town surrounded we will swarm the town and take all the ponies, they all are full of love that could feed the hive for a good long time, as well remove the elements problem" Chrysalis explained feeling proud of her plan.
Antennae looked at her unimpressed "so we release the entire swarm?...why not just tunnel below the town and collapse it?...then the elements are out of the way".
"We'd be loosing all the love in the process" Chrysalis retorted.
"A minor loss but worth it to be rid of an enemy" Antennae said.
"We're going with my plan" Chrysalis said leaving with no room for argument.
"Fine go ahead sister, just remember I'll be there watching your plan unfold" Antennae said and walked into a large room holding a hundred changeling's "oh good gods is this really how many we have?".
"Yes...why?" Chrysalis looked at her confused.
"We're screwed, I'm out" Antennae walked out of the room.
"W-what n-No! They are very well trained!! If you don't come with to this then your a coward and I get full control over the hive" Chrysalis yelled.
Antennae stopped and huffed "fiiiine...." She groaned.
~~~~~~~~~~<Ponyvill Two Hours Later>~~~~~~~~~~
Twilight and the other girls had successfully freed and woke up everypony James attacked.
At the moment all six and spike were sitting in the castle around the table, they all were silent.
"I doubt he meant to hurt anypony" Fluttershy was the first to speak.
"Fluttershy's right, James wouldn't do that on purpose he's nice and funny not mean and scary" pinkie said with a smile.
"Ah don't think everypony else will see it that way" Applejack said with a somber frown.
"Well he could explain himself if he hadn't ran off to hide in the forest, that's sounds pretty guilty in my book" Rainbowdash said crossing her arms.
"But he ran off into the Everfree Forest in tears, the poor dear must be so sad and scared, I wish we could find him but it's nearly impossible to find anypony in that forest" Rarity said.
"So do I..." Twilight said feeling bad, she was worried for James he wasn't used to his magic and with so many dangerous creatures in the Everfree he had a low chance of survival.
All seven of them heard a scream from outside and they all ran out of the castle, they all stopped in their tracks when they saw a huge swarm of changeling's surrounding the entire town, there were ones flying in the sky keeping pegasi from flying, standing in front of the swarm were Chrysalis and James.
"James?! What are you doing get away from her!!" Twilight yelled.
James looked around before looking at Chrysalis "is she talking to me?".
Twilight looked at James stunned, why was he acting like that.
James walked forward closer to Twilight "young alicorn your mistaken on my identity, I have never met you before I'd recognize a younger alicorn, I am Queen Antennae, second ruler of the changeling's and sister of Chrysalis".
"What??..." Twilight looked shocked before glaring at Chrysalis "what did you do to him?!?!?" She yelled but was then lifted into the air by a violet magic aura.
Antennae glared at twilight and lit her horn "you dare speak to my sister in such a way? I should end your life now".
"Not so fast sister" Chrysalis chuckled walking over smiling "little Twilight what I did to James was what he agreed to, I did nothing with out his consent".
"What did you do?!" Twilight growled struggling to break free of the magic.
"I brought my sister back, simple as that he took her away and I brought her back while also getting rid of him" Chrysalis smiled darkly, she then moved closer and whispered into Twilight's ear so Antennae wouldn't hear "I erased James from his own mind and replaced it with my sisters...your little monkey friend is gone" she chuckled and walked away "come now sister let's not waste our power on them".
"Fine" Antennae let twilight drop to the ground as she followed her sister.
Twilight looked horrified as Chrysalis walked away with her sister.
"Swarm the town and take all the ponies you find" Chrysalis ordered as the changeling's swarmed the town grabbing all the ponies they saw, twilight and the others ran around fighting the changeling's.
Rainbowdash shot through the sky hitting changeling's out of the sky, some chased after her but she easily out flew them and took them down.
Applejack bucked each changeling that ran at her, one was thrown back and smacked against a window and slowly slid down before falling to the ground.
Fluttershy ran around dodging changeling's accidentally making them slam into each other as they tried to grab her, two flew at her but she ducked down just in time making the two slam their heads together.
Twilight and Rarity were using their magic to throw objects at changeling's, Twilight froze five of the changeling's in ice.
The changeling's couldn't run fast enough to escape the pink menace, they tried to hide but they couldn't, they tried to fight but failed, her laughter caused changeling's to scream in terror, the sound of her cannon firing off and making colorful confetti rain from the sky made them cower in fear, none could escape as she bounced closer and closer, her smile never leaving her face.
"Pfft well trained in getting their asses kicked" Antennae chuckled watching the swarm get beat.
"Hrrr" Chrysalis growled annoyed with her sister.
"Wow sister I'm very very impressed with you plan, honestly I don't think I could ever come up with one any better..." Antennae said sarcastically and rolling her eyes.
"Hrr shut up!!" Chrysalis yelled having enough "you couldn't do better!!" She challenged.
"Oh really?..." Antennae took the challenge and cracked her neck, she lit up her horn "let's see...who's doing the most damage...hm" she looked around but spotted Rainbowdash and smirked "you" she fired a beam of magic at Rainbowdash.
"Haha nice try bugs" Rainbowdash mocked as she kicked another one of of the sky, she didn't notice the beam of magic shooting at her until it was to late, in an explosion of bright colors Rainbowdash fell from the sky and crashed to the ground, her fathers and fur burnt as she was knocked unconscious.
"You see sister, that's how you do this" Antennae smirked.
"Shut up! You know I don't need you to rule the hive, I did after all bring you back! I can just as easily send you away" Chrysalis threatened.
"Really?" Antennae looked at Chrysalis.
Chrysalis smiled believing she scared her sister "yes it is ac-" she was cut off by the sound of magic firing off and searing pain in her chest, she slowly looked down to see a wound gushing green blood out from her chest, she looked back up at her sister.
"Try to send me back now..." Antennae smirked and smacked Chrysalis away, she then charged her horn up, she flew up above the town as she charged a large magic blast "this town will be reminded of the failure so many changeling's have brought upon the hive, but after I'm done with it there will be nothing but a crater!!!" She yelled.
Twilight gasped and looked up at the large magical blast forming above town, she then flew at Antennae and head butted her in the stomach, it caused Antennae to loose focus making the blast explode, Twilight was sent fly back towards town while Antennae smashed into a building.
Everyone ran over to twilight including the now awake Rainbowdash who limped over, Twilight groaned and sat up, she had scuffs and scraps on her but was otherwise alright.
"Arrrghh!!!" Antennae yelled blasting out of the building she crashed into, she growled standing on the road in town "I get why my sister was so sick of you ponies!!!" She yelled and started charging another blast.
They all ran toward Antennae and surrounded her "please James don't, I know you're still in there, you can't do this!!" Twilight yelled.
"I'm not James!!! I don't even know who that is!!" Antennae yelled.
"Don't you remember your parents your friends?? How would they react to this???" Rarity yelled.
"I killed my own mother and you think this is what she'd find worse??? You think trying to make me feel bad will make me stop? That's far to cliche" Antennae laughed.
"Hrr this is for shooting me out of the sky!" Rainbowdash yelled and threw a rock hitting Antennae on the head.
Antennae stumbled back and the magic blast fizzled out, her eyes spun in her head and she passed out hitting the ground hard.
"Dash uh good job" twilight said as they all walked closer to the now knocked out changeling queen.
"James can't really be gone can he?" Fluttershy asked worried.
"I'm not sure...but I know a way to find out" Twilight lit her horn and pressed it against Antennae's, her eyes then glowed and she went into her mind.

Twilight looked around the black void, it seemed endless.
She moved around the void and passed by memories of Antennae, she looked at all the memories looking for ones from James but she couldn't find any, as she was flouting through the void she spotted a grey spot in the darkness, she flew towards it and saw it was what she assumed was James, he looked human but not like the ones from the mirror.
James was sitting in the black void he was grey and transparent, Twilight could barely feel his life force at all, she flew down to him and touched him "James??" She called but he didn't respond.
Twilight was then tackled and pinned to the ground "hello little brat!" Antennae growled "you'd dare invade my mind?!" She slammed her hooves done on Twilight.
Twilight screamed in pain and looked at James "James please! You have to gain control!! This is your mind! Not hers!" She yelled but he still didn't react.
"Quit your babbling!" Antennae raised her hoof to slam on Twilights head.
"Please James!" Twilight yelled and stared terrified at Antennae.
"Die!" Antennae yelled and stomped her hoof down but it was caught before it could reach Twilight "wha?!" She looked at he stopped her and saw James.
"No one uses my body to hurt ponies" James sucker punched Antennae off Twilight, he then ran at her and continued punching her, he relentlessly punched her in the face before grabbing her and lifting her up above him, a large chest appeared in the ground and opened up into a colorful abyss.
"What is that?!" Antennae yelled.
"This is where all my darkest memories go! ENJOY DABS AND BAD MEMES!!!!" James yelled and threw he down into the chest.
"NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" Antennae screamed as she fell further and further down into the abyss before disappearing from sight, James then slammed the chest shut.
James walked over to twilight and helped her up, she then proceeded to hug him tightly "sorry twi...I was having a hard time remembering myself".
Twilight sniffled as she had tears of joy in her eyes "I thought you were gone forever!...but I'm so happy your back".
"Heh same...now let's go back to the real world...there's a certain bug queen's ass I wanna kick" James said and cracked his knuckles.
Twilight nodded and she cast her spell to leave James mind.
~~~~~~~~~~<Real World>~~~~~~~~~~
James sat up awake and rubbed his sore head "gah who hit me?...".
"James?" Fluttershy asked.
"Yeah it's me..." James said before he was tackled in a group hug by the ponies, he smiled "this is nice...but really who hit me?".
"That was...um..Chrysalis, yeah she flew over and hit you before flying off" Rainbowdash lied.
"You hit me didn't you?" James asked.
"Yeah...well only because the other you shot me out of the sky" Rainbowdash clarified.
"Oh shit really??...sorry damn it she really screwed around with my body" James huffed before looking around and spotting Chrysalis who was trying to crawl away "oh no you don't!" He ran at her.
"Crap" Chrysalis cursed before standing up and lighting her horn and firing a spell at him.
James deflected it and threw a barrel at her smashing on impact and knocking her over "haha!! A man from my world always said barrels were evil, guess he was right in your case".
Twilight was looking at James stunned.
"What?" He asked confused.
"You deflected her spell!" Twilight yelled amazed.
"I did? I did!" James yelled in realization "looks like taking back control from Antennae allowed me full control over the magic" he smirked.
"Of course it did...hrr you lucky little monkey!" Chrysalis yelled.
"Huh...I guess I am lucky" James thought about it and even though a lot of bands happened to him, he was able to get help from Fluttershy, survive fights against Chrysalis, gain friendship from the girls, and even regain his memories, he was actually pretty lucky.
"But now you luck runs out!!" Chrysalis yelled and shot a magic blast into the sky.
"...um...you missed..." James said looking at her, everyone then burst out laughing.
"Oh laugh it up, because this will be the last time any of you laugh!!" Chrysalis yelled as the sky darkened.
The sky tore open to a dark purple void, dark clouds formed around the rift and lighting sparked into the rift.
Purple lightning shot out of the rift and started ripping open other rifts, the new rifts grew over time and some formed together making larger ones, the rifts grew larger.
"Twilight what's happening?!?!?" James yelled.
Chrysalis beat twilight to answering "the rifts are tearing apart our dimension, their bleeding into other ones and crushing them together, in moron terms for you their destroying each other hehehehehe, if I loose then you all do as well" she laughed maniacally.
"You psychotic bug freak!!" James punched her and turned to Twilight "how do we fix this?!?!".
"I-I'm not sure, we'd have to try and force the rifts close, but we'd need a lot of magic to close them, enough to risk a ponies life!" Twilight panicked and started talking with the girls for ideas.
James thought over what Twilight said, he then looked up at the large rift and his expression turned stern, he then spread his wings and shot up into the sky towards the rift.
Twilight looked back towards James not finding him there now, she looked up and gasped "James?!? What are doing?!" She yelled.
"Saving the world!!!" James yelled while dodging lighting, one bolt came close to hitting him but he was able to narrowly dodge it, he then got to the large rift and lit his horn, he then started pulled the two parts of the rift together trying to close it, a bolt shot out and ripped open a rift next to him, he looked at it and his eyes widened at what he saw.
It was Nightmare Moon, but she had a white mane and tail, she was using her magic to pull another large rift closed, she glanced at James before looking back at her rift, she then gasped and looked at James again.
"Um...hi..." James said looking at her.
"Hey..." She replied.
"Soo...were you human before?" James asked.
"Yup...you?" She asked.
"Same" James said.
She chuckled lightly "life likes throwing curve balls I guess".
"Heh no kidding" he looked at the rifts "man I wish we could talk more...bet we'd be good friends huh?"
"Yeah we probably would" she smiled sadly before looking back at her rift as she started pulling it closed.
James looked at his rift and did the same as he pulled it closer and closer together the other rifts closed together, he struggled to pull the main rift closed as it kept trying to reopen and grow bigger, James growled and forced all his magic into closing the rift.
His horn sparked and blasted out waves of magic as he out everything he had into closing the rift, his horn shot out a large blind blast of light "arghhh!!!!!!" He yelled as the light exploded blinding everypony watching the scene play out.
Once everypony could see again they all saw that the rifts were closed but James was nowhere to be seen, Twilight and the others ran around looking for James.
They searched under broken buildings, everywhere, but they couldn't find him anywhere.
Twilight was sobbing at the only possibility she could think of, he had used all his life force to close the rifts, he was gone all because he gave his life to save them all, he'd just gotten back his life only to loose it for everypony who had chased him out of town not that long ago, and he knew what he was doing, twilight told him trying to close the rift would cost a pony their life, and he still did it.
The other girls hugged twilight in tears as they cried as well.
"What's with all the crying? I just saved the world...id expect some celebrating not crying" James said as he limped over to them.
They all gasped and tackled him into a hug "oh! Not this again!" James said as he was squished in the hug.
"We thought you were dead!!" Twilight yelled.
"Sorry! I was blown into the forest it took me a while to get back here my wings are tired so I couldn't fly" James explained.
Twilight and the others hugged him tightly, he smiled and hugged them back.
A week has passed since the rifts closing, Chrysalis escaped during the panic which angered James quit bit, James has been living in his own house as of now in ponyvill, he stays in his own pony form most of the time while walking around but usually is his changeling self at home, though he does like abusing his transformation ability, he loves pretending to be another pony and messing with everypony in town, him and the girls hang out whenever.
Rainbowdash has been teaching him how to fly and hes become a pretty good flyer, though that's what he says others will say he's decent at flying.
He helps Fluttershy out around her house when he can, he likes the little animals and is still trying to repay Flutters for all the trouble he put her through, though satan or angle as Fluttershy calls him is still a pain in James' ass, they never get along, Fluttershy surprised James one day by pulling out the ring box, he had completely forgot he'd lost it in the first place, he now keeps it by his bed to remember his old life.
James hangs out around the farm, he's still trying to learn how to buck a tree properly, one time he accidentally knock a tree down and had to spend the rest of the day trying to put the tree back up, applejack still says its crooked.
Rarity asked James if he'd be a model for her since he could literally be and body type she wanted, he wasn't to sure about it and felt embarrassed about wearing dresses, but he agreed, he still can't help but blush when he wears a dress, he'll forget the time he had his picture taken while wearing a dress, he chased the photographer down but wasn't able to chase the train the guy got on to, now he's apparently in magazines in Manehattan, spike always reminds him.
Twilight helps teach him how to control his magic and learn different spells, now he cane make a flower grow with out catching on fire, though he did accidentally cause a giant weed outbreak all over town, those dang things engulfed the town.
James loves hanging out with pinkie, she knows the perfect ways to make him laugh and he's found out his emotions are connected to his transformations, so laughing makes him change randomly into different ponies, he has fun changing to pinkie on parties, then everypony gets to deal with two pinkies.
Life's been pretty odd but also fun living in ponyvill, he's made a lot of new friends now and explores the lands of equestria, there's always something new happening in the world and he try's to enjoy it.
James is at the moment trying to write, one of the more difficult things he's had to deal with, he's writing his entire story of coming to equestria down in a journal, incase he gets memory loss again.
He finished writing the final chapter and set his pencil down smiling, he closed the book and looked at the title he gave it Forever Changed, it fit pretty well with how his life has been, he walked away from the desk and looked out his window, life may be hard and new now but he'll just have to adapt to it, it's all he can do.
"If only these dang headaches and black outs would go away..."
