> The light of the Traveller > by MLP_Thundersky > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > 1 The Red Legion (Prologue) > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was a beautiful day of relaxing for a Guardian. I helped Amanda Holliday with the ships in the hangar bay and did a bit of Warlock exercise with Ikora Rey. But now the important thing was that I had time to rest. Aksis and the Fallen Splicers were defeated and now it has been a relatively quiet time. As I laid in my bed in the upper parts of the Tower, the whole Building got shocked by explosions and the lights went red. “Every Guardian, defend the Tower!” Commander Zavala’s voice could be heard through the speakers. I jumped out of my bed, grabbing my Häkke Assault Rifle and SMG, as well as my Gjallarhorn Rocket Launcher, and ran out of my room up to the Tower Plaza. As I entered it, five Guardians had begun fighting the Invaders. The sky was filled with Cabal Ships and Tower Defence Ships fighting each other. “What happened here?” I asked a Hunter, whilst pumping two Cabal full of Arc energy from my SMG. “The Red Legion is invading. You should see Commander Zavala and ask him for more information.” the Hunter said, running out of cover and activate his Golden Gun, killing a bunch of Cabals. “Hunters.” A Titan complained. “Guardian Down!” “Cover me.” I yelled over the sound of gunfire. The three remaining Guardians gave cover fire, allowing me to push forward and revive the fallen comrade, simply by standing next to him. The body of the fallen Guardian lighted up in white light and he stood back up. “Thanks bud.” He gave me a weak punch to the shoulder pads. “No problem.” I said, giving him a punch to the back. “Guardian, Ikora wants you to meet her at the Speaker's Place.” My Ghost said. “See you later?” I asked the other Guardians. “Yeah, just go” A Warlock answered. I took the shortest way through a broken wall and met with Ikora at the Speaker's place, which we found empty. “No, this can not be.” Ikora kneeled down to the floor. “Don't worry Ikora, I will get him back.” I said, “Amanda, my ship.” “Your ship is coming Guardian.” the Tower Engineer said. I activated the teleporter and took control over the ship. As the ship made its way to the Command Ship of the Cabal, I had to dodge a bullet storm from the cabal flak turrets, which wasn't easy. As I found a landing place on the Cabal Destroyer, I teleported down, weapons raised and made my way into the giant ship. As I entered the first room, which was a barrack, I found it empty. Some of the displays were activated and showed something in Cabalish and a picture of the Traveller. “What is this?” I asked my Ghost. He scanned the Screen and said:”It is a map of the Traveller, they're trying to cut us off of his light.” “That is bad, isn't it? “ I asked the Ghost. “It would take away all of a Guardian's power and shut down every Ghost.” the Ghost answered. “Then we better get moving!” I said,”Where's the fastest way to the engine room?” “I set you a way point, Guardian.” We headed to the way that the Ghost marked for me, and came to one of the Catapults. “Maybe we should shut it down.” I whispered to my Ghost, peeking around the corner. “Don't ask, just do it.” I pulled the Gjallarhorn from my back and aimed at the control table. A rocket shot out of the barrel and released a swarm of micro rockets on impact, killing all Cabal Soldiers near it. “Sky, what's your Status?”  the familiar voice of a Titan asked. “Don't worry Blackjack, just killing a few fat assess.” I said, shooting a wounded Cabal the Helmet of, letting him suffocate in the air of the Earth. “Guardian, we should move on.” my Ghost said. I entered the engine room which was completely dark. “Something's wrong.” and with that the room lighted up, revealing thirty enemy's. “Music?” “Something Classical.”, I said whilst loading my Zarinea-D. “Now playing: Cro-Meine Gang.”, the helmet showed. With that the fight began. The first eight Cabals got knocked out by my Assault Rifle. As I heard the *Click* Sound, signalising that the Mag was empty, I pulled the Rifle over my shoulder, and pulled out my two Shadowclaw SMG’s. I emptied both magazines in seven of the remaining Cabals. As the SMG’s also signalised with a *Click* that they were empty, a Cabal used his Booster Pack and jumped right in front of me, punching a Shadowclaw out of my grasp. “Hey, that was expensive.” I said whilst giving him a taste of my Warlock melee. “Super Charged “ the helmet display showed. “Now let's end this dance.” I said whilst charging a Nova Bomb in my hand and throwing it in the group of remaining Cabals. All fourteen Cabals got disbanded by Void energy. I place an Explosive Charge on the main reactor and ran out to a outer deck of the ship. I pressed the button for the explosives, but nothing happened. I pressed it a few more times, before giving up. I looked at the Traveller and what I saw shocked me to my bones. A orange shield builded up and hulled the Traveller in it. As I looked to my Ghost, the blue light in the middle flickered a few times before it went out and he fell to the ground like a rock. I also felt the light slipping out of me, making me weak and defenseless. I grabbed my deactivated Ghost and put him in a pocket of my armor as a Cabal general walked out to the platform. He came up to me, and punched me to the edge of the Platform. “You will remember my name for ever.”  the Cabal said, placing his foot on my face. “My name is Ghaul, and your light is mine.” and with that kicked me of the Ship. As I felt I tried to Short Teleport, but failed, I hit the Ground and the world went black. > 2 Equestria > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I woke up in in a bed. I thought I just had dreamed, but then noticed that it wasn't mine. As I looked around in the room, I noticed a distinct lack of metal and concrete, which the Tower was build of. The walls were made out of crystal. I sat up in the bed and looked another time around in the room. As I sat up I noticed an extreme pain in my neck. “Just how hard did I hit the ground. And where the hell am I?” I asked myself. I noticed a bed table, with my Shadowclaw laying on it, and my Auto Rifle leaning on it. “Where is my Gjallarhorn, that thing is exotic!” I looked around in the room and found it laying under my bed. I  stood up and analysed the situation. My ghost and I are cut off from the light and we're stuck god knows where. I heard voices from outside of the room. “Fluttershy, are you sure that you can handle this?” a feminine voice asked. “Yes I am sure that I can handle him. Animals are my specialty, don't forget that Twilight.” another feminine voice answered. Did that thing just called me an animal? I heard steps, not footsteps but a clocking similar to a horse. I grabbed my Shadowclaw and laid down in the bed, pretending to sleep, the SMG hidden under my back. I closed both my eyes only half, to see what's going on. A yellow horse with wings and a long pink mane and tail entered the room, and gave me a friendly look. As probably she stepped near the bed she laid something on the table, as I looked another time I noticed it was my helmet. “Don't worry, you will be okay in no time.” she said, laying on hoof on my chest. “Here goes nothing.” I said in my thoughts. I jumped out of the bed and grabbed her, placing the barrel of the Shadowclaw on her head. She began to scream like shit. “I'm sorry.” I said, giving her a punch with the magazine holder of the weapon. As I felt her body relax, knowing she was knocked out, I laid her carefully on the ground. “I have to get out of here.” I put on my helmet and took the remaining weapons. I opened the loader of the launcher, only to find on remaining cartridge in it. I looked at the magazine screen of the AR. Empty. At last I took out the magazine of the Shadowclaw. 23 bullets remaining. “Wow, that's great.” I said to myself. I looked out of the window on a free patch of grass. “That has to be about twenty meters and I have no abilities.” I looked a few moments at the door before I opened it. I looked into a hallway of crystal. Luckily it was empty. I ran down the hallway and took a staircase down to the ground. I heard voices and stopped at the next corner. I peaked around it, just to find a sort of meeting room and six more of the ponies. After a few seconds the yellow one came running in the room, probably informing the others about me missing. At the same moment the cyan one spotted me. All of them began to chase after me, the cyan and a purple one flying while the rest ran. I also began to run and tried to shake them off in the hallways. Finally they split up. After a few more distraction maneuvers I finally shook them off. I came to the room from the beginning, and stopped to take a short break. A few seconds later I noticed that it was a big mistake. The room had six entrances, and now each entrance was blocked by one of the ponies. I raised the Gjallarhorn and took a shot at the white unicorn. The rocket got simply vaporised  by a spell from the unicorn. I dropped the launcher, knowing that I can't do anything to get out of this situation. I kneeled down and took my hands behind my head. I destroyed the heart of the black garden, killed Crota and his father Oryx, and destroyed a fallen god called Aksis. But now I got defeated by freaking ponies. All ponies created an unbreakable circle around me. I closed my eyes to not have to see the inevitable. I would die, but this time forever. “Guardian the light is coming back. Use your abilities.” I felt the light return in my body. I pressed a button on my helmet to restart it. With that the speakers went of, so I couldn't hear what the ponies were talking about. “Ultimate charged.” the helmet showed. Also the helmet activated completely, making speakers and HUD available. “Oh now it's a party.” I said, the pink one giving me a suspicious look. I stood up and made a quick short teleport upwards and threw a cluster charge. The charge went of at impact, blinding and stunning all ponies in the room. As the smoke disbanded, I noticed that I was caught in a magenta bubble of something. “Release me at instant!” I yelled at the ponies. “Why should I? You attacked us!” the purple one yelled back. “I don't belong here. My friends are dying out there for something important!” I remembered the fighting at the Tower. The angry look on the ponies faces softened. The orange one gave a signal to form around. As they were talking, I pulled out my Ghost: “I have a plan, but you have to trust me.” “I hate when you say that Sky.” the Ghost complained. I switched the second perk of the SMG to ricochet rounds, and fired the complete magazine at the wall of the bubble, killing myself with it. As the ponies looked up, frightened by my dead body, the purple one released me from the bubble. As I hit the ground, my Ghost instantly revived me. “Surprise!” I said, throwing a Nova Bomb directly under me. As the ponies were distracted I began to run, but got stopped by a spell from the purple unicorn. The next thing I could remember was my a multitude of voices. “Guardian, wake up Guardian!” I heard my Ghost saying. “He's okay, is he?”, I heard the yellow one ask. “He has died about 3000 times. So it's normal for him to die and get revived.” my Ghost said with an amused undertone. I stood up, dusting myself off. “You are sure he will not attack us another time?” the cyan pony asked the purple one. I stepped near the cyan one and deactivated my visor: “Depends on how you treat me.” The cyan one shrugged and moved a few steps back. I reactivated the visor of my helmet, making my HUD ready again. “This is an award situation isn't it?” I asked in the round. “I understand your situation Sky, but why attacking us?”, the purple one asked. “When you're a Guardian of the light, every new race can be an enemy.” I sighed, “I speak from experience.” “Also, how do you know my name?” I asked them. All ponies looked at my Ghost. “How much did you told them?” I asked my Ghost, giving him a angry look. “About.” he made a short pause, “Everything.” “So then you know who I am.” I asked in the round. “Yes we do. Also I would like to introduce myself and my friends.” the purple one answered,” I am Twilight Sparkle, the princess of friendship.” “Howdy there, I'm Applejack.” the pony took off her hat. “I'm Pinkie Pie.” the pink pony jumped up and down. “I'm Rarity, pleasure to meet you.” she looked at the helmet on my head. “Name's Rainbow Dash.” the cyan Pegasus landed on the ground. The yellow one said nothing. Twilight gave the pony a look I couldn't decipher. After a few seconds the Pegasus said: “I...I'm Fluttershy.” Twilight smiled: “You have to tell me everything about your species.” She sat down on a chair at a table made out of crystal, as well as the other ponies. I placed my Zarinea-D on a free spot on the table. “First off you need to know what a Guardian is.” I  sat down on the table “A Guardian is revived from the dead by a Ghost which has chosen to travel them. We Guardians are divided into three classes.” “I'm a Warlock. We have our magic to create giant black holes, control storms of arc energy or forge a blade of solar energy.” I created a small Nova Bomb to show my abilities. “Also there are the Hunters, who have their agility and cleverness, and the Titans who simply have their strength and stubbornness.” I gave a short laugh. All ponies were interested now. “What were you before you got reborn?” Twilight asked. “I was a soldier like now, only without light. I was protecting the last few colony ships. We got ambushed by a fallen ketch. 2.000.0000 people died because we failed.” a tear ran down my face and got stopped by the edge of my helmet. “I never heard such a tragic past. Not even Starlight comes near that.” Twilight place a hoof on my hand. “Starlight?” “Oh I forgot to tell you. She's also one of our friends. She'll be back in about an hour.” Twilight said, writing something on a scroll. “Spike! Where are you Spike!” she called for someone A purple dragon enter the room. Twilight gave him the scroll and he literally burned it. “What did you do?” “She just sent a letter to Princess Celestia.” Rainbow Dash said, placing a hoof on her face. I tried to answer but my Ghost cut me off. “Incoming emergency call from Commander Zavala.” “Send it through.” I said, jump from the table. ‘How can they still contact me?’ The Ghost projected a hologram of Zavala into the room. “Last call for all remaining Guardians out there. The Tower has completely fallen, we're gathering around on the Farm located in the EDZ.” The message ended. “Call in my ship, we have to help them.” I said, making me ready for combat. “First off: Our ship got destroyed. Second: There is no Guardian link in the next two hundred systems.” the Ghost said. “What do you mean?” I asked the Ghost, almost dropping the Gjallarhorn a second time. “That means we're stuck. Or you can build a system which can communicate over two hundred systems!” the Ghost almost yelled. “Can you scan the area around us? Maybe you find something what could help us.” I asked the Ghost. The Ghost opened up and scanned After a few seconds he said:”I found nothing special, except a chest which radiates an extreme cold.” the Ghost answered, “it's located in the basement of this building.” “Can I maybe see that chest?” I  asked Twilight. “Sure.” Twilight answered and lead us down to the basement. The chest was located in a dark corner. The Ghost made light for us all. The Chest was a simple iron chest covered in ice. I used a scatter grenade to break it open. I grabbed inside and pulled out a sort of a rifle, covered in snow. I washed away the snow and a name engraved into the weapon's frame came to light. Coldheart. “Wow, only ten copies of this trace rifle exist! Where did you find this crate?” I inspected the rifle. “I found it out in the desert.” Rainbow answered. I reached another time in it and pulled out an arc SMG know under the name of Riskrunner. “Also only ten copies of this were made. Probably some scavengers left it out here, don't ask me how they got so far out.” I said inspecting the new SMG. “Maybe there is still hope Guardian.” the Ghost said, scanning the chest. “Maybe.” I holstered both weapons, Zarinea in my hand, Shadowclaw and Gjallarhorn dematererialized by my Ghost. We turned back to the meeting room where now a unicorn waited for us. She shrugged as she saw me. “Don't worry, he's friendly, if you let out the part where he tried to kill us.” Twilight said, giving me a look I couldn't order in. Starlight first looked at the Assault Rifle in my hands, then at the holstered SMG, and last at the Trace Rifle on my back. “Are you sure that you can trust him, because he looks...how you say it... off world.” Starlight asked after a few seconds. “Yes he sure is.” Fluttershy stood next to me. I didn't expect her to answer that question. “So you too had a dark past?” I asked. Starlight looked first at me then at Twilight. “I took over a village and took away their cutie marks because my only friend got his and left for magic school.” she said. The room went silent for a few seconds. “What are cutie marks?” I asked. Everypony looked at me. “Cutie Marks show the special talent of somepony. Fluttershy’s for example shows three butterflies, because she's good with animals.” Twilight explained, “Is the thunderbolt on your helmet not your cutie mark?” “No. It's a simple marking. This one is for my fireteam, we were called Thunderfire. In there are two others as well.” I explained, “Mine shows a thunderbolt, because I'm the leader.” “I would like to see your abilitys.” Rainbow said excited. “Maybe tomorrow when we're outside” I answered, ”Do you maybe have a room where I can rest for now?” “Of course.” Twilight lead me to a room, probably built for bigger races like humans. I sat down on the bed. “They aren't that bad. Hmm?” my Ghost asked. “Yeah, but we have to get back to earth.” > 3 Ikarus IV > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- “Yeah, but we have to get back to earth.” It was a pretty hard day so I took off everything except my pressure suit, and laid down on the bed. “There is something I ask me the whole time.” the Ghost said. “What is it?” I asked, turning around to sleep. “A ship tried to link to us, but earth is 200 systems away.” the Ghost answered. “Can you locate the signal?” I jumped out of the bed and put my armor on again. The Ghost scanned. “It is on Ikarus IV, an old Guardian outpost near the edge of discovered space.” the Ghost said after he finished the scan. “Then make the link. Maybe we can get home.” I said, running out of the room. I ran past Twilight, and she yelled something after me. I heard her hoof clocking so she followed me. I opened the door and stopped. “Sky what's Wr…” Twilight was silenced by the ship descending down from the orbit. The ship hovered only a few meters over our heads. It activated its landing gear and landed in front of us. “Twilight, we heard loud noises from here. Did something…” Rainbow Dash came along with Twilight's other friends and stopped mid sentence as she saw the ship. “What is that?” Rainbow Dash first looked at the ship, then at me. “It is a Minerva-class ship. Biggest and best armoured ship for Guardians.” my Ghost answered before I could say anything. I stepped near it and the main hatch opened. Fluttershy took a few steps back, seemingly scared by the giant gunship. “Maybe it's better if you wait here.” I said before entering the ship. I made my way through the storage room to the cockpit. I sat down on the pilot seat and checked the instruments. Fuel: 85% Engines: Standby Main Gun: fully loaded Rockets: Armed “This ship is too new and too good in shape for such an old outpost.” I said to myself. Then I noticed the the yellow dragon square with an eye in the middle on the console. Could this be the ship off my old master Osiris? “Can you connect us to that outpost?” I checked the weapon systems. “Something is disrupting the signal.” the Ghost answered. “Keep trying.” I tested the main gun, and hoped for a Click sound, meaning that the gun is not loaded, but actually three real shots fired out of the barrel. Twilight could barely dodge the three armour piercing rounds. Through the gunpowder smoke a purple light began to shine through, meaning that Twilight charged a spell at me. I activated the speakers. “Sorry, my fault.” Twilight's horn stopped glowing. I stood up from the pilot seat and walked to the main hatch where the others waited. “So, what are you doing now?” Rarity asked. “This ship has not the needed jump range to reach earth, but enough for the next planet.” I answered, tipping in data for the board computer. “So what now?” Twilight asked. “Now I will fly to that moon where this ship comes from.” I put on my helmet. “Can I come with you?” Rainbow Dash was excited. “I don't know what awaits me there.” I pulled out my Riskrunner ,”So No” Rainbow Dash’s excitement vanished more into anger. I got back to the cockpit and started the main engines. The ship took off and made its jump to Ikarus IV. As it came out off jump speed I could see the whole planet and it's moons in their full beauty. The ship turned right to the moon and made its path into the atmosphere. The moon was covered in Vex structures. We landed on the main platform of the Guardian station. The air locks were broken, so no breathable air in the station. We entered the dark station, my Ghost lighting the way. As we entered it I became a bad feeling. Something was wrong. “Look if you can activate the power.” I said to my Ghost, weapons at ready, looking for treats. “I will try but I don't believe there is any power left in this place.” he scanned the main controls. Suddenly the lights went on, revealing twenty Vex Goblins. I raised my weapon, but before I could shoot a voice behind me said:”Don't shoot Sky, their friendly!” I turned around, just to see my old master Osiris stand behind me. “Is that really you?” I asked, almost dropping my weapon. “Yes it's really me. It has been too long student.” he placed his hands on my shoulder. We shared a hug, and I went off to inspect on of the Goblins. As I stepped near it, it didn't flinched or tried to attack me, it just stood their. “So why aren't they attacking you or me?” I asked my old master. “Why should they? When Vex attack they only fight for their territory or for a new living space. The only thread out here are the Cabal.” he gave one of the Goblins a holopad. “The Vault of Glass?” I still didn't trusted the Vex. “We only protected our home.” one of the Goblins answered in flawless English,”We held you like the fallen for a thread and only protected what was ours.” The Goblin was painted in yellow and black and had a blue lense instead of a red one. I turned to Osiris:”You said there are Cabal out here what are they doing here?” “I don't know what their building on Heiros but it is definitely nothing god.” a minotaur followed by two harpies entered the room. “Also, what happened to the light?” Osiris inspected my partly scorched armor. “The red legion trapped the traveller and cut of every guardian from its light.” I looked at Osiris, noticing he still had light in him,”I think we are the only ones with light left.” “What are we doing now?” Osiris asked. “The ship that brought me here hasn't got enough fuel left, so I don't know.” I inspected a weapon that a Vex gave me. It was an Antiope-D Häkke submachine gun. I put my Zarinea-D into the ship's inventory. Next a Vex showed me a room with armor. I found a new set of Warlock armor and put off my old armour, and on the new, storing the old one in the ship's inventory as well. With new equipment I reentered the main room. Now equipped with an SMG, a trace rifle and a field forged shotgun from someone called Hawthorn. “So what's the plan?” I asked in the group of high ranked Vex and Osiris. “We received new scout reports.” a Vex commander responded. “Their building a ship called ‘The Almighty II’.” another one continued,”It can destroy whole systems, by making their sun implode.” “They will test it on a solar system named Equestria, not known to humans but known for Vex.” the yellow Goblin pointed on a small solar system on a holographic map. It was the same planet where I got teleported to from the traveller. “There are intelligent creatures living there. We have to help them.” I said, gaining the attention of everyone in the room. “We can't help them.” the yellow Goblin answered. “If we don't help the the Cabal wipe out another peaceful race.” I punched the table,”I have been there for only a day, but they're not really into combat. So if we don't help them, their dead.” “As I said….” the Goblin tried to answer. “IF YOU DON'T HELP THEM THAT'S YOUR PROBLEM, BUT I WILL HELP THEM!” I yelled back at the group. “Sky you will die your last death!” Osiris responded. “If I go down, I go down fighting.” I loaded my shotgun,”Just provide me with more Intel and I will take out that ship.” I left before one of them could answer. I entered the waiting ship and flew back to Equestria. > 4 Things getting worse > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The ship descended down from the atmosphere. It shook two times before it stabilised and flew a straight path over the everfree forest into the direction of ponyville. I pushed a button for the autopilot to slow down and left the pilot seat to the storage room of the ship. I opened the armory and looked through all of my weapons I could materialise. With the help of the Vex we established a link back to earth to a new safe place called: The Farm. I opened the inventory and looked for three specific weapons. I finally found them and punched in the codes for materialisation. I put down my other weapons in a chest and took out my old weapons I used to love. First I took out my Origin Story. A special kinetic weapon for the Vanguard. Next i pulled out a Häkke DMR called Silent and Deadly . A gift from Lakshmi-2, representing the FWC in the tower, for saving one of her higher members. Of course it had special markings of FWC and New Monarchy and was coloured in gray and white. Last I pulled out a shotgun from Dead Orbit called Gravity Slingshot, which I  received from Arach Jalaal for saving one of his convoys from a fallen scavenger crew. Of course Executor Hideo was not very happy about the respect I had for the other fractions and they for me, but I think he dealt with it his way. The two things I pulled out were special. A special leg holster for void hand cannons and a gift I received from the hunter vanguard Cayde-6. Normally Warlocks wouldn't get gifts from the Hunter vanguard, but I wasn't an average Warlock. Warlocks had to choose their path between the Voidwalker, Stormcaller or the Dawnblade. I choose the path of the Void. I started as an Voidwalker Warlock, but quickly learned how to use the void for other things. Ikora teached me the path of the Voidwalker, a friend of Cayde the path of the Night stalker and a friend of Zavala the path of the Sentinel. Ikora gave me me a special Bond, Cayde a hand cannon where I could focus my void in and use it like a Gunslinger and Zavala gave me a void enhanced Titan Mark which I could clip to my robe. These things helped me through my life so I was glad to have them back. I put the bond and the mark on their right places and put on the leg holster. I spun the hand cannon around like Cayde does every time. I placed it back in its holster, grabbed the remaining weapons and left the armory back to the cockpit. As I entered back the cockpit the ship already hovered in front of Twilight's Castle. I teleported down and ran directly to the main door. I knocked on the door, but no one opened. I knocked another two times, but still no one opened. I pushed down the door handle, but it was locked. I looked around for another entrance, and found an open window in reachable jump height. I used my glide ability to reach the frame and then climbed inside, silently. I walked down the main corridor and watched for open doors and my room. As I was in the middle of the corridor I heard steps. I looked around for cover, but couldn't find anything. I quickly took a smoke bomb from my belt and threw it on the ground, making me invisible. Twilight's dragon assistant Spike came around the corner. I pressed myself against the wall, hoping that he doesn't see me. He just walked by, doesn't made any suspicious movements, and I took my way again down the corridor. I finally got to my room. I looked for one special thing. “Sky, we need to talk.” Twilight stood behind me in the door frame. I shrugged, because I hadn't heard her approaching. “What is it?” “A giant metal thing landed in the Badlands and Celestia and Luna wants to talk to you.” Twilight gave me a bit angry look as I continue searching and only half listened. “And how do I get there?” I finally found what if looked for and clipped it as well onto my robe. My Ghost materialised in front of me and scanned a book Twilight had with her. “I updated your map. You have now a teleport zone at the Canterlot Castle.” “Can you tell me exactly how that thing looked that came down the sky?” I had a theory what it could be. “It looked like a giant V with a bigger end what glowed, as well as some pretty weird red and black markings as well a name written on it. Orobas Centaro was it.” “Tell everyone to remain inside until I'm back. Also tell Celestia and Luna to meet me at the Orobas Centaro.” I cocked my shotgun. “What? Why?” Twilight asked. “The Orobas Centaro is a god damm Command Ship. Holds space for about 20000 Cabal soldiers, letting Goliath Tanks and Harvesters out. Those ships are built for invasions.” I called in my ship. Twilight sighed, before I teleported onto my ship and flew of to the Badlands. On the way I discussed with my Ghost:”What do you think they want?” “Resources and power like every time.” my Ghost answered. “I think not this time. They're going for something else this time otherwise the sky would be full of cabal ships by now.” I looked out of the main window. The Orobas Centaro could be seen from a very far distance. The ship was painted in a red tone, the colour of the Red Legion. As we closed in my Ghost captured an out bursting signal and translated it. “Dominus this is your last chance of giving up, otherwise Emperor Calus will defeat you himself.” “So the Cabal have inner conflicts. Interesting.” I examined the hull of the ship from range. I took a close look at the anti air weapon systems. They were deactivated but loaded. “Scan the ship for life signs, I want to know how many are on there.” The Ghost scanned for a few seconds. “There are none. There are no security protocols activated as well. The ship just flew it self down here.” he was obviously confused. I flew the ship into one of the open hangar bays and teleported down. Weapons at ready I made a few steps forward, expecting a surprise attack. But nothing happened. “This has to be bad.” > 5 Orobas Centaro and a dead Friend > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I walked slowly the way to the main elevator, checking every single corner. I found no enemies what made me suspicious. I entered the elevator and pushed the lever to get up on the bridge section. I switched to my Gravity Slingshot and awaited a large squad of Cabal forces. The door opened, and as well as in the hangar no Cabal troops in sight. I entered the bridge only to find it empty. I walked over to the main console and shut down the whole ship. I started the ship back up and took control over it. I firstly checked the life support system. It was fully intact and showed only me as a life signature. I plugged in the device I had on my robe and uploaded the new protocols. All of the monitors went green as the directives were finally installed. I punched in another code: RSPTN directives Volusp protocol Access:Denied “The connection failed, try another frequency.” I observed the main computer carefully. “Which one?” the Ghost asked, working on another computer. “Try Rus8.” I said, activating the outer lights and sensors. As I looked out of the main window I saw a good amount of ponies who looked like soldiers and two bigger ones in front of them. “It looks like Celestia and Luna are here.” I plugged out the device and put it back on my robe. I grabbed my Shotgun and went back to the elevator. Before I left I grabbed one of the arm holopads Psion Commanders sometimes had to control the ship from outside. I walked the short way from the elevator to the ground deck and opened the front hatch of the giant ship. I walked outside to meet up with Celestia and Luna. As I stepped outside all guards held up their spears or charged spells. I responded in activating the automatic defense system. All guns on the underside turned to face the guards. All guards moved closer together forming a living shield for the more powerful unicorns. The two bigger ones didn't even flinch, and for surprise for the Guards, walked over to me. “You must be Sky I presume.” the white one said. “That must be me.” I still had my hand on the fire release. “Guards stand back!” she yelled back at her guards. The Guards lowered their weapons and as a response I set the turrets back on flight mode. “I am Princess Celestia.” she pointed a hoof at the other pony next to her,”And this is Princess Luna my little sister.” “Pleasure to meet you, Twilight informed you about our situation?” “We are sorry to hear, thou are stuck in our world.” Luna answered. “So you know nothing about the Almighty II?” I asked, watching closely the guards. “Almighty II? What is that?” Celestia asked. “To summon everything up, you're standing at the edge of extinction.” Luna tried to interrupt me, but I simply continued,”This ship is build to blow up sun's and delete whole star systems from the map. And now it's targeted at your sun.” “Why not solve this diplomatic?” Celestia asked, and looked closer at the ship behind me. “Diplomatic?” I gave a short laugh,”Good one. The Cabal are very aggressive, blow up moons for getting in their way.” At that sentence Luna shrugged a little bit. “Their whole life exists of war, so more likely. No.” I listened to my ghost, while the princesses talked. As they turned back to me Celestia began to talk first:”We may not like that method, but couldn't you fight them back with that giant metal thing behind you?” “The Orobas Centaro? From what I have heard the Centaro is about a one thousand of the size…” before I could finish my sentence Luna had a breakdown. Two guards sprinted to her and helped her up. “The...They are here.” she could barely speak. “Everyone get in the ship! We have to get moving!” I yelled at the guards. They first didn't move, but as I started the engines they entered the ship as well. I looked at Luna laying on the hangar floor, completely exhausted. I ran to the elevator and entered the bridge, Celestia and two guards behind me. I took over the main control, and showed the two guards what they could do. One I sent to the coms the other one back down with Celestia to try to reach Twilight to meet us at Canterlot. As I descended down the ship over the Canterlot Castle, to get the now back opened ground hangar door in reach of the floor. As I looked out of the main window I saw Twilight and her friends, as well as a heck of a pony army waiting for us. I left the bridge with the guard and showed him how the holo projector I gave him functioned. As the last one left the ground deck, walked back into the direction of the elevator. “SKY WAIT!” Twilight stopped me on my way. She and the others quickly ran up the ramp to the deck. “Can we come with you?” Rainbow asked. “This is definitely not a safe place for six little ponies.” I answered before I left to the bridge. I heard their hoof clocking in range and closed the hangar door. I entered the bridge and started my flight in the orbit of Equestria. >>>-----<<< As I watch the screens to keep up with everything. I slightly missed the heart beats on the life support monitor. “Sky we're not alone!” my Ghost said. Now I saw it: six or more heart beats crowded together behind a tank in hangar 2. I pressed a button and sealed the hangar. I took the elevator to the hangar and opened the door. The lights were out so I activated the lamp on my shotgun. I reached the spot where the heart beats were. My radar went completely red and I could hear heavy breathing, probably because the hangar was now air sealed through the security lock. I peeked around the corner and shot. I heard the shot hit something, not metal nor flesh. A weak purple light emitted from the darkness, and I shot two more shells in the direction, making the purple light brighter. After the third shot Twilight yelled:”Sky Stop! IT'S US!” Before I could do anything, something hit me directly in the chest throwing me a few meters back. Reflexively I did a force field melee and whatever it was got sent to the hangar selling. A very loud snap could be heard and something fleshy hitting the hangar floor. Finally the lights went on and I could see what it was: Rainbow Dash laying on the ground, dead. I stepped over to her and sensed her pulse, but nothing was there. The others came running over to her, probably sensing she was dead. “Rainbow?” Twilight asked, tears running down her eyes. Silence She pressed her head into Rainbow Dash's side. “WHY?” she yelled at me. Now the others really realised what happened. Applejack charged me and threw me on my back. I could barely hold her hoofs away from my throat. I often fought against Titans in Crucible, but hell Applejack was strong when she was mad, even Shaxx couldn't  come near to her strength. Me still struggling under Applejack’s pressure, my Ghost just appeared and flew over to Rainbow Dash’s lifeless body. “Can this be right?” he splitted up his shell and fired a concentrated light beam at Rainbow Dash. After a few moments of pure silence Rainbow Dash moved. Applejack moved aside, letting me stand up. Everyone looked at her. “What is wrong girls?” she didn't know what was going on. All of them ran to Rainbow Dash and gave her a group hug. “No really, what happened? The last thing I can remember was attacking that guy who shot us and the waking up on the ground.” I answered before the others could:”First of all that was me, second I threw you against the ceiling, killing you and, don't ask me how, my Ghost revived you.” “How is that even possible?” Twilight asked. “Somehow you all are wielders of the light, making me able to revive you.” my Ghost answered. “You mean the Elements of Harmony?” Applejack asked. “Probably.” my Ghost answered, giving Rainbow a closer look. “Anyways, what were you doing here?” I put the shotgun on my back. Twilight blushed a little bit:”We were going to help you.” “So much for help. Come with me to the bridge where we can talk.” > 6 Preparation > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I entered the bridge with them and showed them a place around the holotable were they could sit down. I shortly went to the main controls and activated the cloak mode, slowing down the ship but making it invisible for eye and radar. The others had sat down around the table, and I took a seat as well. “You said now is the time to ask questions. Why?” Fluttershy asked. “Because if I die, I'm dead. The light is not fully restored so my Ghost can heal me, but not revive me.” I plugged out a screw on my Origin Story and pulled out the barrel. The ponies went silent, the only thing that could be heard was me cleaning the barrel. “Sometimes he does things and don't think first. His head is as empty as I found him.” my Ghost said with some sort of funny undertone. “What do you mean with empty?” Rarity asked. “When a Guardian is reborn from his corpse he doesn't remember who he was before.” I answered, not stopping my cleaning. “But how do you know from your past then?” Twilight asked, now interested. “Rasputin” “Who?” all ponies asked. “Rasputin the AI Warmind of earth. I got sent to find his bunker under the cosmodrome. As I entered it he scanned me and found my databank, I helped sometimes in his bunker so he noticed me.” I made a short pause. “And then?” Pinkie was quiet, which was not very usual for her. “As I logged in to the main computer he gave me direct access and showed me the last minute before my death, plus he showed me my bio, that's why I know who I was and what happened.” I placed the barrel back in the rifle. “Since it was something personal for him, he had something personal for me. I worked with him and we were some sort of good ‘friends’. I was the only person he really let into his bunker, other guardians had to hack into the door system to get access.” I pulled the DMR from my back. “This was the last weapon I had in my hands before I died. It is something very personal for me,if I would lose it I would search the whole universe until I find it.” I drove over the weapon with my hand. “This is a special SR-25. It is connected to a device on my equipment, a clean shot can make me go invisible. All stripes stand for ten kills, 590 to be exact. Also it has a built in silencer what eliminates the weapon sound almost completely.” I thought now was the right point to show them who I really was. I took of my helmet and half mask and placed both down on the table, revealing my messy gray-blue hair and a battle drawn face with blue eyes. I had a tattoo over my right eye, similar to my helmet marking. All ponies stared at me in a mixture of awe and shock. “What you expect?” “Not a human.” Twilight answered. “Human?” Fluttershy asked. “I may or may not know some things about humans.” Twilight was seemingly stressed. Before one of the ponies could say anything I finished our talk about that theme:”Twilight we talk about that later.” “Is that on your face your cutie mark?” Pinkie asked. “Still no, this time. It is a coloured scar from a fight long ago.” I examined the chamber of my SR-25. “Now to you. Why didn't you left the ship as I said and stayed on Equestria?” I plugged in the device I had another time. “You send Celestia to contact me, and that's what she did. She said that we have to help you protect Equestria, that's why we didn't left the ship.” Twilight answered. “You know that if I didn't went to check the hangar you could had suffocate or frozen to death.” I gave Twilight a angry glare. “But everything worked out in the end, right?” Applejack said before Twilight could answer. “It may did, but what about next time? Also how are you going to help me? The Almighty is mostly open so if you can't breathe in space you suffocate.” I loaded the mag of my DMR, each cartridge one by one. “Pegasus Magic. I can breathe in space.” Rainbow Dash answered. “You may can, but you still can't come with me, you never fought the Cabal. I don't think you can fight anyway.” “After I sent you flying back a few metres, you still think I can't fight?” Rainbow was very angry. “I killed you with one punch, don't forget that. Also the Cabal have a way stronger armour than I have, how would you compete against that?” I loaded my rifle. “Bring it on!” Rainbow Dash yelled. Before me or Rainbow could do anything, my Ghost got between us:”Guys calm down, it brings us nothing if we kill each other, especially you Sky!” I looked at the radar. One minute until we reach the minimum distance of the cloak drive. “It's time we get back to work.” I stood up and left to the elevator, the others behind me. We entered the front hanger and I looked for one particular ship. With the help of the others I found it. It was the ship of the commander. I opened the side hatches and looked at the interior. “So, the plan now is: I enter the Almighty with the stolen ship, deactivate the weapon system, head back and we blow the Almighty with the firepower of this ship up.” I explained. I turned to Twilight:”I give you the command over this ship whilst I'm away. Don't let anything near it that's not me.” “But…” I stopped Twilight in her answer. “There is no ‘But’. If I don't come back, turn back to Equestria, gather all together and fly to this coordinates.” I gave her the coordinates of earth and turned back to the ship. I entered the ship and started the engines. I missed that Rainbow Dash jumped a second before I closed the drop hatches into the ship. “RAINBOW!!!!” the others yelled after her, for me through the engine sound not noticeable. > 7 Infiltration > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I flew in the direction of the weapons core system. “Harvester OC-22874 verify yourself or we'll shoot you down!” a Psion said over the comms. My Ghost verified us. “You have permission to land on platform T4E338.” the Psion gave as a response. Instead of flying to the landing pad I flew in the direction of the Almighty’s weapon core. I found a perfect spot to set down and hovered the ship a few metres over the ground. I opened the drop hatches and jumped out, still missing Rainbow Dash only a few seconds behind me. As I took my first steps on the Almighty, my Ghost flew the Harvester in a save but hidden spot, still reachable for me. As I went around the first corner I met a cabal patrol and took them out with ease. The next encounter was a bit different: Ten Legionaries and a Centurio. I emptied four mags in the Cabal, leaving two Legionaries over. I made a quick shadestep into cover and reloaded. As I peeked over my cover I didn't really expect what I saw: Instead of two Legionaries Rainbow Dash stood there, hooves covered in Cabal blood oil. “What are you doing here?” I lowered my weapon. “Saving your flank.” Rainbow walked over to me. “Anyways when you are here then help me at least.” I picked up a slug rifle from a dead Cabal and threw it over to her. “Sure.” she catched it with a wing, weighted it a few seconds and took aim,”How do I use this thing?” “Aim at an enemy and pull the trigger. If the counter goes to zero, take one of these” I threw a mag over to her and she catched it with her other wing,”Change the old one, pull the bar on the left side and you're ready to go again.” She fired a test round with almost no recoil. “Seems easy.” she stepped inside the next room. “Yeah may now, but don't get cocky.” I stepped behind her in the room. We took out two more patrols with ease, but a third one got us a pretty good fight. We entered a hangar as the lights went on, revealing sixty Cabal soldiers. We both made a quick dash to the side behind cover and waited for the first wave of enemies. The first wave began as ten Gladiators and ten War Beasts rushed to our position. The War Beasts were easy to take out, but the Gladiators had really heavy armour, taking more than two mags of my Origin Story. We took out four of them by shooting them together, making it impossible for them to get close. Two of them came through the crossfire and tried to kill us in 1v1s. I waited for mine to get close, switched to my Gravity Slingshot and killed him with two precision shots to the helmet. Rainbow Dash gave her Gladiator a very good fight. She gave him precise punches and kicks until he staggered back, and ended the fight with a high speed kick to the chest, sending the challenger flying to the back wall of the hangar, making his thrusters explode on the impact. Another one jumped over our cover and pressed Rainbow to the ground. I quickly took out my DMR and shot it's booster, until it malfunctioned and sent it flying through the air. The last three where no problem now, but now the second wave began, consisting of Legionaries and Phalanxes. Rainbow killed five of the Phalanxes before she self got hit. She ducked down behind our cover and let me take a closer look at her shoulder. She only caught a graze. “I will tether them, when you see a bright purple light shoot them.” I peeked over the cover and instantly ducked down again as the Cabal opened fire on our position. “I have no ammo.” she complained and threw her weapon in the crowd of Cabal forces. “When I tether them, punch one in the head, that should kill them all.” I counted to three. As I reached three I jumped in the air and fired a void anchor, tethering all of the Cabal and instantly refilling my ultimate energy. Rainbow dashed forward, and as I predicted, punched one in the head, dealing the same damage to the others and making them explode in void light. We entered the hallway to the weapon core and I scoped in to examine the situation around the core. “We need something well armoured and heavy hitting to get through that.” I lowered my weapon. “Like a tank?” she pointed her hoof at a Goliath tank next to us. “That could do.” We entered the tank, me on the driver seat Rainbow on the gunner seat. My Ghost quickly analysed the tank and explained to Rainbow:”Red button fires the main weapon, green one a rocket barrage.” He turned to me:”Drives like a Drake, red button releases a fiery close range attack” The tank was pretty slow, so we had to watch our maneuvers, Rainbow holding the Cabal on distance whilst I got the tank in position for a clean shot. Before we reached a clean spot a Harvester showed up and before Rainbow took it down made us unable to move again. I jumped out the tank and took out the last defenders. “New plan?” she asked. “New Plan. Climb up that thing throw a grenade in it and run.” I found a good path to jump up. I began my jumping and Rainbow flew up and waited for me. I found a vent and opened it. “When I throw a grenade in there, this whole thing will collapse.” I pointed at a catwalk pointing to the sun,”Our ship waits there.” “Stop talking and go.” she made herself ready to sprint the whole distance to the ship in ten seconds flat. I threw a scatter grenade in the core and with that destroyed the ventilation system, making the core overheat and collapse. “RUN!” I yelled over a dozen explosion. We reached our ship in time and I quickly brought us on course with the Orobas Centaro. I activated autopilot and went back to the crew apartment. Rainbow was still covered in Cabal blood oil and had scorched spots on her fur from the sun. “You gave them a pretty good fight.” I sat down next to her and gave her a fist/hoof bump. “We should do THAT more often, instead of fighting each other.” she began cleaning her wings. “Probably. But we're still not finished.” > 8 End of an Empire and a new home > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- We set down in the hangar two where Twilight and the others waited. I left the ship first, Rainbow after me. She cleaned most parts of the Cabal blood oil out of her fur, but the burnt spots were still clearly visible. Twilight shared a hug with her:”That was literally the dumbest idea you ever had.” “Yeah but it worked out, right?” Rainbow looked at me, expecting a yes. I sighed:”Not really.” “WHAT?“ all ponies almost yelled, except Fluttershy. “It's weapon is probably destroyed, but the Almighty is still active.” I activated the main battery's over my holopad. “So what's the plan now?” Applejack asked. “I have to get to the bridge. Maybe focused fire will destroy it.” I stepped on the elevator to the bridge and activated it. We reached the bridge and I sat down on the commander's seat and took back control over the ship. “Twilight, Radar.” I showed her her place next to me. “Rainbow, AAA.” I showed her the way up to the control center. “Pinky, Rocket Defence system. When you see a red dot on the screen press the button.” she sat down next to Twilight. “Rarity, ship repair. When we get hit try to fix it.” I didn't say anything to Fluttershy, because I thought that it would be better for her to do nothing. I took aim at the centre of the Almighty, deactivated the cloak and fired a first barrage of smaller artillery. It did absolutely nothing. Now the Almighty activated it's own ADS and fired a barrage of rockets. Pinkie stopped them before they hit us. Now two cruisers attacked us. The first one didn't came in firing range before it got shredded by the artillery fire. The second one could barely fire a few rounds which missed, before it got destroyed by Rainbow Dash with the AAA. I fired now continues with everything I had on one spot, damaging the hull but nothing more. “Sky you should see that.” Twilight said with a frightening undertone. I looked at the Radar and what I saw wasn't good. The whole front was covered in red dots. “Rainbow hold them back as good as you can!” I yelled up to her. “I will try!” she yelled back. Half of the Harvesters got destroyed by AAA fire, the rest came through and slowly got destroyed as well. Now the Almighty fired another time and Pinky missed it because she was too focused on the Harvester rockets. The rockets impacted and took down the shields to 10%. “We aren't doing enough damage.” Twilight jumped up from her seat:”The...The Weapon they found a way to repair it. I..I can feel the energy flowing through it.” “If this doesn't work we're doomed.” I plugged in the Warsat controller Rasputin gave me before I left his bunker last time. I tried eight different satellites, eight times a red screen. As I looked up I saw the core of the Almighty light up. I punched the console, and laid my head on it, knowing this was the end. Suddenly the screen went green and showed: >>>War-Sat 15587 <<< User: Guardian Sky Access code: 1944659234885 Access: Granted Activating Voluspa Protocol 4 Control regained Satellite Eraser ready Firing laser on marked position >>>Your Welcome Sky<<< “You goddamn old Russian.” I stood up from my seat. “What?” everypony asked, Rainbow flying down the ladder to the AAA. “Enjoy the firework.” A Warsat teleported right over us and activated its weapon systems. It fired its main weapon at seven different spots, ripping giant holes in the ship and making it explode in a giant fireball, destroying all Cabal forces around it. I received a group hug, and kneeled down on the pony's height. “You did it. You really did it. You saved Equestria where we couldn't.” Twilight had tears of joy in her eyes. “Let's head back down.” I stood up and turned to the controls. The ship only took a few burnings from the re-entry in the equestrian atmosphere. I hovered the Orobas Centaro about hundred metres over the gardens of Canterlot Castle. We went down to hangar one where my ship waited. It was a bit crowded, but it was still enough place there. We set down in the gardens, where I landed in a open spot. Princess Celestia and Luna awaited us with a few guards of their own. As we left the ship they both and their guards bowed down, not before Twilight and her friends, they bowed down before me, because as I looked back Twilight and her friends bowed down as well. I responded with a short salute, giving them a signal to stand back up. I stepped forward to Celestia:”The Almighty is no more.” “You saved Equestria where the Elements couldn't. Me and my subjects want to thank you for that.” Celestia levitated a small chase up to me. I opened it. In it was a small shard of the Traveller. “I think it be belongs to you.” Celestia gave me a friendly look. I gave it my Ghost and he analysed it:”This explains why the Traveller sent us here and we got our light back after a short time. This small shard holds so much light that I could create about 200 Ghosts or supply one guardian over 20.000 years.” “That is really strong for such a little shard.” I pulled out a small knife to carve in two more stripes on my DMR,”Also delete ‘Save another star system’ from our list.” “Done.” “So what's left?” I finish my carving. “Nothing. Your list is empty.” he answered. “That means waiting for the next enemy for over a hundred years.” I sighed. “You could stay here. Weird things happen here all day.” Rainbow sat down next to me. “Maybe.” I pulled my SR-25 over my back. “Guardian! Are you…” I stopped my Ghost with a simple hand move. “I said maybe. Besides, we have a job to do.” I looked at Celestia and Luna,”Would  you please.” My Ghost projected a map of Heiros on the ground. “This is Heiros, a Cabal planet where they build most of their ships, plus it isn't very far away from here so it could become a threat one day for you.” I pointed at a specific spot and my Ghost loaded a new map, this time of the facility itself. “This facility is known as Calus. Main shipbuilding facility and fuel storage of the Cabal empire. The plan is to take it out.” now my Ghost loaded a 3D map of the facility. A high ranked guard stepped to us:”Look at those walls! How are you going to bring them down?” “I don't have too. We have a stolen Cabal command ship, don't forget that. They don't expect to be attacked by one of their own ships. Also the Vex will attack the outposts so they get distracted.” I explained. “Seems a good plan.” Twilight came up to us. “Only requirement is that I need people on my ship.” I looked through the round of ponies. “The equestrian military and Wonderbolts stand completely behind you.” Celestia said. “30 minutes not later.” I looked at the captain. “Understood.” he ran back inside. >>>30 minutes later <<< The shields were restored and all ponies were on their position. I took off and made a quick jump to Heiros. The Vex had started their attack so we got escorted to the ground by two interceptors. “Orobas Centaro this is Escort one to your right. We will help you touchdown due to critical circumstances.” “Sky we are in battle range.” a dark blue unicorn said. I activated the speakers:”All positions open fire!” Our first target was to destroy the anti air of the base, so we hadn't to worry about that. After a few minutes of strong resistance we finally took out most of them with 80% shields remaining. Next off was the shipyard itself. After ten minutes of heavy fighting we only had destroyed only 29 of 324 ships. “Commander I have an idea.” a yellow pegasus called me over to her. “What is it?” I took a look at the screen. “You see those lines?” she asked. I nodded. “They are filled with fuel. Damaging them enough could release a chain reaction which could destroy the base.” “Good idea, what's your name.” I asked the pegasus. “Spitfire, captain of the Wonderbolts, Sir!” she saluted. “Good to know.” I turned back to my place,”Rainbow focus your fire on the fuel line.” “Understood.” she gave as a short response. A few seconds later the fuel lines exploded, destroyed most of the ships and setting the rest of the base on fire. “Sky, I think it was not a very good idea to destroy the fuel lines.” my Ghost sad. “Why?” I asked, looking down at the firestorm. “Look at the seismic activity. It seems they pulled the fuel from the planet's core. I think you can guess what happens now.” I opened all channels:”Everyone retreat, the planet is collapsing!” “Get us out of here!” I yelled over to the flight engineering part of the bridge. As a response the Orobas Centaro turned and jumped into the orbit. A minute later the planet exploded. “I caught a cabal signal, it says that the emperor has fallen. You ended a whole Empire, for a short amount of time!” my Ghost said happily. >>> One day later  <<< “Sky you're coming?” Osiris voice sounded through the feed. Silence. “The Traveller awoke and I want to turn back to earth with you.” “I stay here.” I sat on the open front hatch, Rainbow Dash next to me. “WHAT!” Osiris yelled over the comms. “I thought about it a long time, but yes I'm staying on  Equestria. I found friends here and this planet needs protection.” I gave Rainbow a short hug and she left to Ponyville, which would be my new home from now on. “It's not that I'm angry or something, I'm just surprised but OK with it. I will give message to the tower when I'm back. Good hunting Thunderfire 1.” A bright spot showed up in the sky and I knew, Osiris made his jump back to earth. “Good hunting Yellow 6.”
