“My name is Mihana Runner. Daughter of Lady Aiya of the undersea kingdom of Misty Palms, and daughter of a once great Hero, before he enemies destroyed his reputation, His name was Damien Runner, a hybrid born of a human mother, and an alien father. he was once considered a Marvel, now he has become nothing more than a Rouge. He once leads a group of brave heroes who were born with special powers called Orbit. Together they were widely known as the 19 Guardian team, G.O. Force. My father's Family…My Family, The Runners have always been a proud and noble family ever since the first Runner over 350 years ago. Although there have been those who sought out our destruction, our family have always managed to carry on no matter what.”

“a few days ago, I was summoned by my grandfather, Owen “Zoner King” Runner with urgent news…”

“What?! Wh-What are you saying Ojiisama?!” Mihana asked out of shock. Before she was a middle-aged man sitting behind a desk.

He wore a long black trench coat with red lining with a dark red shirt underneath with black pant. His skin was lightly tanned with big blue eyes and light orange hair. 

“it’s just as I told you Mihana, there’s a chance you may have a cousin who doesn’t even know she’s a Runner.” He told her.

“How? How do you know?” Mihana asked eagerly. 

“it was just yesterday actually. Your Father told me himself.” Owen replied to his granddaughter. 

“P-Papa?!” Mihana shouted as she was even more flabbergasted as Owen tried to calm her down. 

“Like I said, your Father, Damien, sudden came unexpectedly and told me this. Just a few days ago, his older brother, your uncle, Leonardo came to him and told him that he has a daughter somewhere on Earth. When your father told me that I was just as surprised as you are now. After that, he asked if someone would look into it…and…He chose you.” 

Mihana slumped back into her chair. “Why isn’t papa telling me this himself…?” she quietly asked. 

“Mihana…” Owen said as he stood up from his chair. Standing at 7.40 ft. he walked over to Mihana. 

“we both know why he can’t…With everything that’s been going on, it’s only a matter of time before your father’s enemies start coming after the rest of the family. And if what he and his brother said is true, this girl may be an easy target for them." 

 Mihana could only look down at her feet. Owen walked over to Mihana and places his hands on her shoulders. 

“Look Mihana, I know you miss him, we all do. But right now, we all have a job to do. I know you can do it, and so does your father which is why he asked that you look after this new Runner.” Mihana sighed and looked up at her grandfather.

 “Ok…I’ll do it.”

Owen smiled and ruffled her hair. 

“That’s my girl. Oh, and one more thing.” 

"Huh?" Mihana tilted her head in confusion. "what is it Ojiisama?" she asked.

“It’s a small chance…but regardless…She might have...Orbit.” Owen said with a serious look on his face. 

“Wh-What?! She has Orbit?!!” Mihana asked with wide eyes.

 “I don’t know for sure, it’s a long shot but I don’t know a single Runner who doesn’t have Orbit abilities. But in the case that she does, whatever power or ability she has, you must be able to help her use them properly. And with that said, you think you can handle this?” Owen asked.

 After a brief silence, Mihana looked over to her grandfather and nodded her head. 

“Yes. I’ll do it.” Owen smiled as his number one granddaughter and reached behind himself to his desk. 

“That’s my girl. Everything we know so far about this girl is right here.” He said as he gave Mihana a file. “Good luck.”

"after that, I packed up my things and began my search for this ‘Missing' Runner. It wasn't too hard finding where she lived. She just so happened to live on the island of Neighpon, an island off the coast of Japan, after that it was just a matter of going to town to town, trying to find her. I wasn’t going to lie…I thought it was pointless at first. But I didn’t want to let down Ojiisama…and papa.”

“The Car ride wasn’t exactly enjoyable…but most long road trips are the same…” Mihana thought to herself as she sat in the back seat of a moving car. She then looks across at her and happily stared at the person sitting next to her.

The person was a young man, about the same age as Mihana, he wore a red jacket that conforms to his body, accompanied by a pair of wide-legged pants. But his most defying feature is his well-maintained pompadour hairstyle,

however, due to the long car trip, he had fallen asleep in his seat and was snoring loudly. Mihana smiled menacingly and leaned over to the young man, and began poking his cheek, once her finger made contacted his cheek, the young man was suddenly awakened

“GAHHH!!!” he shouted as he jumped in his seat. All Mihana could do was giggle from his reaction. “Por el Amor de Dios Mihana…quit it…” the young man groaned.

“Jessie Overlace, or has my papa and others call him, Crazy Bullet. I first met him when I first ran away from home and ended up in his native home of Puerto Rico. When papa came looking for me, he ran into Jessie first, and it wasn't long before it was revealed that he had Orbit just like papa. Papa was impressed by Jessie's skill and courage and decided to take Jessie on as his protégé. Jessie was very loyal to Papa and when Papa was forced to leave, he made Jessie team leader of G.O. Force. Although Jessie was papa's student, Jessie and I did have a little thing for each other, and it wasn't long before I started calling him my boyfriend. I can't even imagine what I do without Jessie now…" Mihana smiled to herself.

“Hey! Knock it off back there!” the driver of the car shouted after feeling Jessie’s sudden movement.

“Sorry Hyde,” Jessie responded with a yawn.

“yea, sorry uncle Hyde, but I just couldn’t help it.” Mihana chuckled.

“You shouldn’t be sleeping anyway Jessie, We’re almost there.” A voice from the passenger seat said.

“You’ve been saying that for the last few hours Blaster…you can’t blame me.” Jessie whined.

"Hyde "Zero" Walland was also known as Thunder Fist and J’onn “Blaster” Walland, two longtime friends of my papa. Along with Papa, they were part of the original 8 founding members of G.O. Force. I call them uncles because well if Papa sees them as the family, why shouldn't I?" Mihana happily thought to herself.

as they drove, the car radio was blasting music.

“Geez Blaster! How many times are you going to play this song?!” Hyde yelled as he turned off the radio.

“Aww, but I like that song!” Blaster complained.

“So, do I, but you don’t see me playing it over and over again like a broken recorded!” Hyde argued back.

Blaster huffed and went back to the map in front in him.

"Well anyway, I was right. We are getting close to the next town. I believe it's called…phone….pon-e….Phony?” Blaster struggled to pronounce the name of the next town until Mihana leaned close to his ear whisper,

“Ponyville.”

“PONYVILLE! Yes! Thanks, Mihana.” Blaster happily cheered.

Hyde sighed

"Ponyville huh? Sounds interesting enough. hope this won't be another annoying trip."

“With our luck, that would be the less of our troubles.” Blaster said as he tried to fold up the map.

“True…” Hyde signed.

"Hey, Mihana…what's this girl's name again?" Jessie asked as he leaned back in his seat.

“Let’s see…” Mihana took out the file Owen had given her and looked through the pages. “Ah, here it is…Her name is…Twilight Sparkle.”

Somewhere in the town of Ponyville, a young girl is sleeping soundly in her room. Still, in her pajamas, her dark blue hair with a long violet streak was spread throughout her pillow as she snored.

A few seconds later, her bedroom door opens as a small boy with bright green hair enters the room. He walks over to the side of the bed and nudges the sleeping girl.

“Come on Twilight, it’s time to get up.” He calls.

However, Twilight only rolls over to her side while placing her pillow over her head, the boy only rolls his eyes in response.

The boy goes on to lick his finger and then places the wet digit on Twilight's exposed arm. The sudden contact of the wet finger on her skin jolted Twilight's body forcing her to wake up instantly,

“GAH!” she yells as she falls out of the bed and flops on to the floor.

“Oooowww….” Twilight groans as she sits up while rubbing the back of her head. Still half asleep, she looked over across the room and saw the young boy.

“Geez Spike! What was that for?!” she yelled.

"well geez, Twilight…did you forget what time it is?" Spike said as he pointed to the clock on her nightstand.

Twilight turns around, but as soon as she saw the time, her eyes widen to the size of dish plates.

"CRAP! IM LATE!!!" she screamed and bolt out of her room and into the bathroom.

Meanwhile, in the kitchen, an older woman with moderate purple hair with light gray streaks was preparing breakfast. All the while Twilight was zipping back and forth between her room and the rest of the house.

“Oh my gosh, OH MY GOSH! I’m going to be late! Where are my shoes?! Did I do last night’s homework?! Where are my Glasses?!!!” she panicked. All the while, Spike casually walked over to the kitchen table and pour his cereal into his bowl.

“She’s up.” He said before eating a spoonful.

"Thank you Spike-Kun," the women said while placing a glass of orange juice onto the table.

“HAS ANYONE SEEN MY GLASSES?!!!” Twilight shouted as she ran into the kitchen panicking.

“TWILIGHT! They’re on your head.” The woman calmly said as she places a plate of food on the table for Twilight. Twilight checked the top of her head, and just as she said, there were Twilight’s glasses.

"O-Oh…Right…Thanks, Mom…and sorry…" Twilight said sheepishly while blushing a bit.

“It’s fine Honey, now take a seat and eat before you leave.”

“O-ok…” Twilight quietly said and sat down.

“Gee Oneesan, getting worked up over the first day back to school, I can only imagine how the rest of the school year will be.” Spike teased while smirking.

"Now Spike-Kun, you leave Twilight alone. It's only natural to be nervous on the first day." Twilight’s mother said as she began washing the dishes.

“Yea, Yea…” Spike groaned as he and Twilight ate their breakfast.

Soon after breakfast, Twilight and Spike prepared to leave for school, after saying goodbye to their mother, Twilight and Spike went their separate ways for school.

"Cya later Twilight," Spike called and waved as he went off to his middle school.

"Bye Spike! See you at home later!" Twilight said as she went on her way.

Just as Twilight was walking, a sudden and strange sensation stuck her.

“Huh...that's odd…That Feeling…it felt strange but yet…familiar…" Twilight thought about the feeling but quickly shook it off as she looked at her wristwatch. "OH MY GOSH! I Gonna get to school!" she cried and raced off down the road.

It wasn't long before Mihana, Jessie, Hyde, and Blaster reached Ponyville Station.

“Ponyville, founded over a hundred years ago by pilgrims and seed traders, Currently at a population of 58,713. Today, Ponyville is best known for its numerous tourist attractions, many shops and markets centers, lavish day spa, and the best-tasting apples courtesy of Sweet Apple Acres." Blaster said as he was reading out of a brochure, while the group walked towards the center of town.

As they walked, they couldn’t help but look around at the beautiful scenery and the sight of people walking back going about their busy day.

Once at the center of town, Hyde turned the group.

“Alright, here’s the plan. Blaster and I will look for this girl’s house and introduce ourselves to her parents and explains what’s going on.”

He then turned to Mihana and Jessie,

“You two will ask around and get some info on this girl. And keep an eye out for her too, she’s close, I can feel it, and I know you guys can sense her too.” Mihana and Jessie nodded to Hyde’s command,

"Got it, boss," Jessie replied.

“Good, let’s go Blast," Hyde said as he grabbed Blaster by his collar, all while Blaster was still read from the brochure,

“Oh! This Sugercube corner is supposed to have the best cake and pastries in town!” Blaster called out while being dragged away by Hyde,

"we can sightsee later, now let's go!" Hyde said back to his boisterous brother.

Once Hyde and Blaster were out of view, Jessie turned to Mihana.

“So, where do we start?” he asked her.

“this way,” Mihana said as she started walking down the street.

“Hey! Wait up!” Jessie called and ran after Mihana, who had a head start.

“So, since we're all able to sense her, that pretty much proves she has an orbit, right?" Jessie asked while walking next to Mihana.

"yes, and no. remember what Papa said, while orbit users are able to sense other orbit users. It doesn't mean that their Orbit has been fully awakened yet. Or they could just be orb-enhanced with no orbit abilities.” Mihana replied as she continued walking.

"Yea, I know I was just asking," Jessies said back as he noticed the serious look on Mihana's face.

"This way!" Mihana shouted as she began to run down an alleyway,

“H-Hey! Slow down!” Jessie called after her and gave chase.

Elsewhere, Twilight was running down the street like a madman,

“CRAP, CRAP, CRAP! I’m going to be so late!” she screamed to herself, as she ran, she noticed an ally way before her.

"Yes! I can take a shortcut through there!" she thought to herself. Twilight makes a spilled second turn into the ally and dashes forward.

"Haha! Nothing can stop me now! The first day of school, here I com-AH!!" was the last thing Twilight said before crushing into another person, who was also running down the ally.

“Graaahhhh...” Twilight groaned as she slowly picked her up. As she sat up, she saw the other girl she crashed into. She gasped and crawled over to her side.

“Oh My! I’m so sorry! I didn’t see you!” Twilight panicked.

“N-No…it was my fault…I didn’t see where I was going…” the girl groaned as she picked herself up. As Twilight watched the girl stand up, the same familiar feeling from earlier came back, only this time, it was much stronger when the girl was with her.

“Wh-what is this…feeling? I feel like…like I know this girl…but how?” Twilight thought to herself.

“Mihana!” Jessie called as she ran over to Mihana and Twilight who was still on the floor.

“You really need to slow down.” Jessie panted.

“S-sorry.” Mihana sheepishly said as rubbed the back of her head.

Jessie shook his head and noticed Twilight on the ground.

“Hey, you ok down there?” Jessie asked while holding out his hand to Twilight.

“U-uh y-yea, I’m fine, it was my own fault anyway.” She said while taking Jessie’s hand, allow him to help her up.

Once off the ground, Twilight dusted the dirt off her skirt,

“Thanks, and I’m sorry again. I must be going now. Good-bye.” Twilight said as she bowed to Mihana and Jessie and began to run off,

“Wait!” Mihana cried out

“Would your name happen to be…Twilight Sparkle?” she asked. The mention of her name made Twilight stop her in tracks. She then looked back at Mihana with wide eyes.

“Y-Yes…How do you know that?” the stunned Twilight asked.

Jessie placed his hand on Mihana’s should as she took a deep breath.

“My name is Mihana Runner…A few years ago, your mother, Twilight Velvet, traveled to Tokyo for a small trip, where she ran into a young man, and well…how do I put this…” spend some time” together. Sometime after she returned to Ponyville, she had you. At the time, she assumed that you were connived by her recently deceased husband, Night Light. However, she was wrong. Twilight Sparkle…” Mihana took a deep breath before finishing her sentence.

“Twilight Sparkle…you are really the daughter of my uncle…Leonardo Runner.” Upon hearing what Mihana had to say, Twilight was even more stunned than before.

Twilight began to stagger a bit before leaning against a wall. “I... I have another father…?” she gasped as she fell to the floor.

“I’m sorry. I just thought you had already known. I didn’t mean to do anything any harm.” Mihana sadly said to the distraught Twilight.

“N-No…it’s fine…it’s just…I always knew I was different from my brothers, Shinning Armor and Spike…but to have a whole different father from them…wow…”

Twilight spoke as she places her forehead into the palms of her hands. Jessie leaned down to Twilight’s level,

“For what it’s worth, I know how you feel. I was kinda messed up when I learned my brother and I had different moms.” Mihana went on to join Jessie,

“Regardless of what I told you. I know that Mr. Sparkle loved you the same way.” Upon hearing her words, Twilight looked up at Mihana and took a deep breath, after which, Mihana and Jessie both helped Twilight off the ground.

“So…I guess that technically makes us…cousins?” Twilight asked Mihana.

“Yep.” Mihana happily smiled.

“HEY SPARKY!!” a raspy voice called. The trio looked over to see a group of young boys walking towards them.

“Oh no…” Twilight said with a sigh.

Confused, Mihana looks over to Twilight,

“You know these guys?”

"Hardy…My older brother Shining Armor is a police captain. He busted these guys for shoplifting a while back. And ever since they've been coming after me for payback." Twilight replied.

"Hey Sparky, we've been lookin' for ya, though you could make it to school without getting our "back to school" gift?" one of the thugs said while the three other boys chuckled behind him.

“Gosh, why don’t you guys get a life or something and leave me alone!” Twilight angrily protested.

"Aww, poor lil Sparky don wanna play with us anymore," One of the thugs chuckled. "oh, look out guys, she means business." Another thug said as the whole group laughed.

However, their laughing soon stopped when Jessie stepped forward and stood in front of the group.

“Back off…” Jessie coldly demanded.

Jessie’s sheer size and posture forced the thugs to nervously take a step away from Jessie.

"Tsh, come on girls, we're done here," Jessie said as he turned back and walked towards Mihana and Twilight.

“Y-yea well…we ain’t in the mood to throw down anyways…especially with some punk with a crappy haircut!” The leader of the thugs said as the others began to laugh. The moment he heard “crappy haircut”, Jessie stopped in his tracks.

“Oh no.” Mihana’s eyes widen in pure terror.

“what? What’s wrong?” a confused Twilight asked as she tilted her head.

“Hey…punk…” Jessie called to the leader.

“Huh? Me?” the thug leader asked.

“Yea…come here…” Jessie calmly. The leader chuckled as he walked over to Jessie, who still had his back towards the leader.

“what did you say just now?” Jessie asked while not moving an inch.

"Hehe, I said you got a crappy haircut-GAAHHH!!!" the leader grunted as he soon felt Jessie's fist hitting his stomach with incredible force.

“WHOA! He’s fast!” Twilight thought to herself as she watched the events unfold before her, while Mihana facepalmed herself while having a nervous look,

“Not again…” she sighed.

Before the leader fell to the ground, Jessie had caught him by grabbing him by the cheeks and sharing him dead in the eyes.

“What the fuck did you say about my hair?!” Jessie spat as he threw the thug leader away from him.

Twilight couldn't believe her eyes as she watched Jessie, but she was, even more, disbelief by what she saw next. either or not it was her imagination, but when Twilight saw Jessie make a fist with his right hand, she could have sworn she saw a second fist materialize right next to Jessie's.

with both fists, Jessie punched the thug so hard and fast, his nose and mouth seemingly exploded into a mess of blood and broken teeth. The sheer force of the punch was so strong, the thug was sent flying and ended up crashing into his minions.

“MY NOSE! MY NOSE!!! IT FUCKING HURTS!!!” the leader cried out.

“oh man! Look at him!”

“He’s so messed up!” two of the thugs panicked.

During the panic, Jessie walks over to the thugs and stares them down.

“calm your tits…I barely niched ya…” Jessie coldly responded.

After a second or two, Jessie turned away from the thugs, and in an instant, the leader's nose and mouth were completely healed, as if nothing happened at all.

“W-Wait…a second ago, he was all messed up!”

“Now there’s hardly a scratch on him!” the thugs said in complete shock.

“Wh-what…the hell…is going…on?!” a completely stunned Twilight asked herself as her mind was still trying to wrap around what had just happened in front of her. The thugs scrambled to their feet and stared at Jessie with disbelief as he walked back to Mihana and Twilight.

Once halfway towards the girls, Jessie once again stopped in his tracks and stood silent. The thugs’ cowards in fear of what Jessie might do next.

“SCRAM!!!” Jessie shouted to the thugs.

"AH! LET" S GET OUT OF HERE!!" the leader screamed as he and his minions raced down the alley, just to get away from Jessie.

Once the thugs were out of view, Jessie huffed and walked back to Mihana and Twilight.

“well, I don’t think they’ll be messing with you anymore.” Jessie happily said to Twilight. Only when he looked over to Twilight, he saw that what deeply shook her she just witnessed. When Jessie looked over to Mihana, she had a disapproving face while her arms were crossed.

“Huh? What did I do?” Jessie blankly asked while shrugging his shoulders. Mihana only facepalmed herself as a response. Mihana then looked over to the stunned Twilight.

“Maybe I should explain…” Mihana said nervously.

“Y-You think?” Twilight said back to her.

Hyde and Blaster continued to look for Twilight’s house, however…

“we’re lost…” Hyde huffed as he and Blaster walked into a plaza.

“we’re not lost. It says so right here on the map.” Blaster said as he pointed to the map, only for Hyde to take the map and turn it right side up.

“Oh…yea we’re lost…” Blaster nervously grinned.

“Oy…why do I keep listening to you I’ll never know.” Zero huffed and he walked towards some of the shopping centers in the hopes of asking for directions.

While he was walking, he had internally bumped into a girl who was running down the street,

“What bitch threw a pebble at me?” Hyde asks as he was unaware of the girl he bumped into.

“Geez Hyde, Zero really is the perfect name for you…” Blaster sighed as he helped up the girl.

“You ok there?” Blaster asked as he helped up the girl. The young girl had light rosy pink hair, with big cyan blue eyes and was wearing a school uniform similar to the one Twilight was wearing.

“O-oh…Y-yes I’m fine…I-I’m sorry I didn’t see you there. I was in a hurry…” the girl softly said in a low voice.

“Geez, why are you apologizing? I bumped into you.” Hyde roughly pointed out, while freighting the girl.

“ah, don’t mind him. He’s just grumpy cuz of the long car drive. If it’s all right with you, may I ask for your name?” Blaster happily asked.

“O-oh…um…I’m…Fluttershy…” the girl quietly answered.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you. What was that?" Blaster asked. The girl swallowed deeply,

“Fluttershy…” she replied even quieter.

“Uh…” was Blaster’s response as he still couldn’t hear her answer. Hyde rolled his eyes in annoyance,

“Gah, SPEAK UP DAMN IT!!!” he yelled at the top of his voice, forcing other people nearby to stop and stare at him for a moment.

The girl squeaked before crouching down,

“I’m Fluttershy!!!” she shouted while hiding behind her bookbag.

Hyde and Blaster watched as Fluttershy quivered in fear of Hyde’s wraith. Blaster looked over to Hyde with a disappointed look on his face.

"Nice going…" he said before kneeling down to the scared Fluttershy.

“Hey, Fluttershy was it? I’m sorry about that. My brother here is naturally grumpy.”

“I am not…” Hyde huffed.

“You see, we’re new in town and we’re trying to find the Sparkle residence.” Blaster said in a calming voice in order to try and ease Fluttershy’s fear. Upon hearing the name Sparkle, Fluttershy peaked from behind her bookbag,

“T-Twilight-chan?” she asked in a small voice.

“Yes! Twilight Sparkle! Don’t you know her?” Blaster happily asked.

"Oh, H-Hai…Twilight-chan and I…we've been friends since childhood."

"Yes! That's perfect! My name is Blaster, this grumpy dude is Hyde. You see we have some important business to discuss with her and her family. Could you take us to where she lives?" Blaster asked with a bright smile.

“w-well…I could…but I have to be heading to school soon…and I…AH!” Fluttershy suddenly gasped as she saw a disturbing sight across the street.

There on a corner side, she saw a group of punks throwing small rocks at a puppy that was tied to a signpost.

“Haha! Look at that stupid lil mutt!” one punk said as the others joined him. In an instant, Fluttershy dashed to across the street, leaving Blaster and Hyde dumbfounded by Fluttershy’s new found courage.

“didn’t she say her name was flutter-SHY?” Hyde asked in confusion.

“No! please stop!” Fluttershy shouted as she stood in front of defenseless puppy.

“Stop this!” Fluttershy demanded.

“Oh, look at this, some bitch is helping a bitch.” One punk chuckled.

“Please, this isn’t right! It’s just puppy! You shouldn’t be-“ but before Fluttershy could finish, one of the punks kicked her to the ground.

“ah Shut up! Once we’re done with this bitch, we’ll have some fun with you too!” he laughed.

"HEY!" Hyde yelled upon seeing Fluttershy hit the ground and began to run over to help her, with Blaster close behind him. However, once they were near her, Hyde and Blaster were suddenly stopped, by Fluttershy's hand. Quietly, Fluttershy picked herself up from the ground and brushed off her blouse and skirt.

“Hey Punk…” Fluttershy said in a clear and loud voice.

The group of punk looked back at Fluttershy and was surprised to see her standing.

“huh? I thought I’d-“ but before the punk could finish, he was suddenly sent flying by a quick uppercut…by Fluttershy.

“HOLY SHIT!” Blaster and Hyde both said in amazement and shock.

The other punks were frozen in fear and shock by what they just saw, as Fluttershy freed the puppy and picked it up before walking towards the punk she sent flying.

“Now, before I was so rudely interrupted…It’s NOT! NICE! TO PICK! ON THINGS! THAT ARE! SMALLER THEN YOU!!!” Fluttershy yelled as she repeatedly stomped on the punk’s groin. “NOW SAY YOU'RE SORRY!!" she demanded.

The punk was left crying his eyes out as a small stream of blood came out of his mouth.

“I-I-I’m sorry miss-“

“NOT ME THE PUPPY NUMBNUTS!!” Fluttershy shouted.

“I-I’m sorry puppy!!” the punk cried out.

“Good…now…SCRAM ALL OF YOU!!!” Fluttershy shouted as the punks ran screaming for their lives, trying to get away from her.

All the while, Hyde stood completely shocked and stunned while holding Blaster, who had leaped on to Hyde out of new found fear of Fluttershy.

“…something’s not right with that girl…” Hyde softy said.

“Oh really? What was your first clue? The sudden Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde reenactment?” Blaster sarcastically asked. Hyde drops Blaster to the ground and walks over to Fluttershy, while she placed the puppy back down on the ground

“Hey! Fluttershy was it? I wanna talk to you.” Hyde commanded as he walked towards her. However, once Fluttershy saw Hyde walking towards her, Fluttershy raced off away from him.

"Ah Damn…Come on Blaster!" Hyde said as he raced after Fluttershy.

“Geez, for once can we go to a new place without chasing someone?!” Blaster shouted while running after Hyde.

“So…what exactly is Orbit?” Twilight asked as she walked with Mihana and Jessie.

“it’s a bit complicated, I’ve had my Orbit for a few years, and I still don’t quite get it myself.” Jessie shrugged.

Mihana sighed,

“I wish my papa was here, he’d do a better job at explaining it. But here’s what I know. Orbit is a collection of powers and abilities an orb enhanced person has.”

“Orb enhanced?” Twilight asked.

“Orb enhanced beings are just simply beings who were born with these,” Mihana explained as she held up her Orb, which was in the shape of a small pearl, it glowed brightly when Twilight studied it closely.

"Oh, my…it's so pretty…It’s kinda like the ring I have.” She said. At that point, Jessie also held up his Orb, which was a little bigger than Mihana’s.

“So, you guys were born with these…’orbs’?” Twilight asked while looking at both orbs.

“Well, not me. I found mine on a beach near my hometown in Puerto Rico.” Jessie said to the curious Twilight.

"Wow…hey…wait a sec. I think I've seen these things before…yea…it was on the TV…Those…G.O. Force guys had orbs like those…If you have this orbs…then that must mean…you guys are with…G.O. FORCE?!!" Twilight shouted.

“Basically…” Jessie blankly said to the shocked Twilight.

“So…if you guys are with G.O. Force…than that means…YOU GUYS ARE ALIENS! Which also means…I’M AN ALIEN TOO?!!” Twilight said as she started to freak out.

“Uh hey, I just said I was from Puerto Rico. Meaning I’m full on Human.” Jessie said with a little annoyingness in his voice.

“And technically, you would be considered a hybrid, since your mother IS human. And you’re not alone. My papa is also a hybrid himself, which make me a hybrid myself.” Mihana said to calm down Twilight.

“O-oh…I see…so…your mom is human too?” Twilight asked softly. Mihana nervously looked away while scratching the bridge of her nose.

“Well…actually…My mama…is a mermaid…” she responded. Twilight seemly blinked before shouting,

“WHAT?!!”

Fluttershy runs down an alleyway and hides behind a garbage bin. While hiding, she peeks out and watches as Hyde runs back, followed by Blaster who is out of breath.

“Wait! Hyde! At least…at least…*gasps* *gasps* pace yourself!” Blaster huffed while following Hyde. Fluttershy felt relieved once she saw the two men out of sight.

"SURPRISE!" Blaster shouted as he and Hyde popped out of trash bins that were next to Fluttershy.

“EEP!” Fluttershy squeaks as The Men’s sudden appearances made her fall to her flop to the ground. Fluttershy scrambles to her feet to get away but is caught my Hyde.

"Hey, Hey, Hey! Hold it for a second. We ain't gonna hurt ya." Hyde told the frightened girl.

“Th-Then…why did you follow me?” Flutter shy asked.

"Well, for one thing, you said you'd help us find Twilight's house…and you forgot your bookbag." Blaster said while holding up Fluttershy's bookbag.

"Also, what was that whole act back there? First, you all soft and innocent, then the next thing we know, you go all she-hulk on those punks, what gives?" Hyde asked as Fluttershy looked down.

“I’m sorry…” Fluttershy quietly said,

“There’s nothing to be sorry about. We just want to know what happened back there, and why you ran off.” Blaster asked in a calming voice.

“Well…I just don’t like seeing animals get hurt…my parents have been running an animal sanctuary across town ever since I’ve been born. And what you just saw back there…well…I didn’t always act like that…” Fluttershy softly said.

“really?” a confused Blaster asked.

“Oh yes, in fact…it all started after I got…This.” Fluttershy said as she held up a small Pale, light grayish gold orb with an image of three small butterflies with pink wings from her pocket. Hyde’s and Blaster’s eyes shot open wide once they saw the orb.

“YOU HAVE AN ORB?!!” Hyde shouted aloud.

“M-Mhmm…J-just like G.O. Force…from TV.” Fluttershy whined from Hyde’s sudden outburst.

In a split instant, Hyde and Blaster turned to each other.

"She has an Orb, that means she has Orbit," Hyde said in a low whisper.

“But how? If she does have orbit then we should have been able to sense her once we arrived in town.” Blaster replied.

“D, (a nickname for Damien Runner.) went through the same thing with Jessie. He said he didn’t sense Jessie’s orbit until after he saw Jessie use his Orbit.” Hyde said back.

“So, your saying is, She might have found this orb and is bonded to her, making her into an orb enhanced?" Blaster asked.

“Maybe so…” Hyde said while thinking. Hyde and Blaster than nodded to each other and turned back to Fluttershy.

“Fluttershy, were you born with that Orb or did you just happen to find it?” Blaster asked.

“Oh, Goodness no.” Fluttershy shook her head. “I only got this just a few months ago…after…well…”

“after what?” Hyde asked.

“My incident," Fluttershy said softly. Hyde and Blaster looked at each other in confusion. Fluttershy swallowed hard and spoke.

“It all started a few months ago, I was coming home one night from the animal sanctuary. I was walking down the sideways when suddenly a dark stranger stepped out of the alleyway. I couldn't make out his face, but he was about your height." Fluttershy while pointed to Hyde.

"Go on," Hyde said to her.

“He didn’t say anything he just stood there, right in front of me. I was freaking out…but then, he suddenly pulled out a gun!” Fluttershy explained while showing that merely recalling the incident was making her uncomfortable. Blaster placed his hand on her shoulder as a way of comforting her. Fluttershy took a deep breath and continued her story.

"I tried to run away, but the next thing I knew, I heard a lot bang and I was knocked down to the ground really hard, knocking me out. The next thing I knew, I woke up in my father's arms and my mother was calling an ambulance. But when I began to regain my sense, I had found this in my hand." Fluttershy said as she held up her orb. "They never did find the man who shot me."

Hyde thought for a moment and looked over to Fluttershy.

“Fluttershy, would it be ok if I saw your bullet wound?” he asked. Fluttershy blushed a little.

“Uh…o-ok…”. In that moment, Fluttershy began to undo the top buttons of her blouse.

“WHOA! HEY! HEY! HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” Blaster freaked out while covering his eyes.

"You idiot, keep it down," Hyde grunted.

“H-here…” Fluttershy said while opening her blouse, blushing like crazy as she was also showing a little bit of cleavage. Right about her left breast was a small bruise that was almost easy to miss.

“from the look of this, the bullet came out of a Colt 1851 Navy Revolver…and it looks like you were shot at point blank. With a gun like that and with it being so close, you should be breathing at all right now.” Hyde said while expecting the bruise.

“That’s what the doctor’s said. They said it was a miracle that I survived.” Fluttershy said while quickly redoing her blouse.

A few minutes later, the trio walked out of the alley.

“and you said you found that orb after you got shot, right?” Hyde asked. Fluttershy replied with a simple nodded.

“and they never found the person who shot you?” Blaster asked next.

“N-no…in fact, I’m not the only one who went through this kinda thing. All over town, there have been reports of people calming to be shot, but never having any wound or injury to prove it. I’m the only exception it seems…” she said while looking down.

“I see…” Hyde said as he went into deep thought.

"It was only after I got this orb was when I began having that terrible temper…" Fluttershy sadly said. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare or hurt anyone…I just…get so riled up whenever I see an animal in distressed." She said while stroking a strain of her hair. Hyde looked over to Blaster. Blaster looked back at Hyde and nodded his head.

“Fluttershy, could we see your orb again?” Hyde asked her.

“Uh…o-ok…” Fluttershy held up her orb right in front of the two men. Hyde goes on to reach down his shirt and pull out a long chain necklace, on the end of it, was a small silver orb. Blaster reaches into his shirt pocket and takes out a small white orb.

In the presence of Fluttershy's orb, the two men's orbs began to glow brightly as did Fluttershy's orb.

"Oh, my!" Fluttershy said as she looked at the light of the orbs. A split second later, Blaster and Hyde put away their orbs. And the glowing stopped.

“Fluttershy, You may have something we call, an Orbit.”

“a…what?” Fluttershy asked while tilting her head.

"FLUTTERSHY!" a voice shouted out. The trio looked across the street to see Mihana, Jessie, and Twilight waving at them.

“Twilight-Chan!” Fluttershy happily called back and ran to her, with Hyde and Blaster following her.

“Good Morning, Fluttershy.” Twilight happily said.

“Good morning to you too, Twilight-chan” Fluttershy smiled.

“Where the hell have you two been?!” Hyde shouted to Mihana and Jessie,

“We were…sidetracked.” Jessie nervously smiled.

“Twilight Sparkle? My name is J’onn Walland, but I’m often called Blaster. No doubt Mihana as already told you why we’re here.” Blaster said while shaking Twilight’s hand.

“Huh? Oh…yes, she said that my father…my birth father…is her uncle.” Twilight hesitantly said.

“that’s right. The Runner Family sent us to talk with you and your mother. But it seems that will have to wait since you two must be on your way to school. My apologies.” Blaster said while bowing to Twilight.

"Oh no, no, it's fine," Twilight said while rubbing the back of her head.

"Twilight-chan…" Fluttershy whispered to Twilight's ear. "These two men said I have something call an "Orbit"

Twilight’s eyes widen,

“What?! You too?!” she shouted aloud.

“Wait, she has Orbit too?” a surprised Jessie asked.

“But how?” Mihana asked Hyde.

“Long story, but I’ll say this, she throws one hell of an uppercut," Hyde replied with a smirk.

Upon hearing the word ‘uppercut’ Twilight looked at Fluttershy with a grim look

“You didn’t…” she said as Fluttershy nervously smiled.

“You and that Temper…” Twilight said while facepalming herself.

The group began walking Twilight and Fluttershy to school. While walking, Hyde explained was Orbit was to the girls, when he was finished, Twilight spoke,

“So, I get that Fluttershy’s temper is a result of her orbit, but that ghostly hand I saw form around Jessie, is that part of his orbit too?”

“…Ghostly…hand…?” Hyde said as he slowly looked over to a very nervous Jessie.

“Uh…I can explain…-“

“YOU IDIOT!!!" Hyde shouted while whacking Jessie over the head.

“HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU?! KEEP HIM IN CHECK!!!” Hyde yelled while putting Jessie in a chokehold.

“I-It’s not my fault! He just slipped out!” Jessie explained while trying to get free of Hyde’s grip.

“BULLSHIT!!!” Hyde yelled. While Hyde went at it with Jessie, Mihana and Blaster facepalmed themselves out of embarrassment, leaving Twilight and Fluttershy completely confused.

“Uh…should we know what’s going on…?” Twilight hesitantly asked.

"Look, girls, You girls just learned about Orbit today, and there is a lot, and I meant a lot about Orbit you don’t know about. So over time, we’ll cover all you want to know in time.” Mihana calmly said to Twilight and Fluttershy while Hyde continued to beat up Jessie, while Blaster tried to break them up, but failed to.

Sadden, Twilight to push on, “But…”

“But nothin’! We’ll tell you what you need to know when we say so. Now come on, aren’t you two girls supposed to be at school right now?” Hyde roughly replied. Twilight's eye widens as she looked at her wristwatch,

“OH MY GOSH! HE’S RIGHT! FLUTTERSHY LET’S GO!” she yelled before running off.

“Twilight! Wait!” Fluttershy called out before running after her, with Mihana, Hyde, Blaster, and Jessie close behind.

Canterlot High, Ponyville's top-ranked school, next to Crystal Prep Academy. The group making to the front stairs of the building and stop to take a breath.

“Nice place…reminds me of our old school, eh Hyde?” Blaster said.

“Yea…especially since you guys don’t have to fight attack robots just to get in…” Hyde replied.

“I Don’t even want to know…” Twilight said while gasping for air.

“Well, Well, Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy.” A voice from the front door spoke. There, stood a tall adult woman with beautiful flowing hair that looked like a glimmering rainbow.

“Principal Celestia!” Twilight shouted as she stood straight up and dusting off her uniform.

"Oh dear," Fluttershy said as she did the same.

"So Glad you girls can finally join us on the first day back," Celestia smirked.

“And who are these two?” another voice said from behind Jessie and Mihana.

Both Jessie and Mihana looked to see another woman, though she was a bit shorter than Celestia, she was still quite tall with black and blue flowing hair like Celestia’s.

“Uh, I’m Jes-Jessie Overlace, Madam.”

“and My name is Mihana Quinn Kujo Parker Runner.” Jessie and Mihana both said while bowing to the woman.

“Uh huh, well tell me Mr. Overlace and Ms. Runner, Why aren’t you in class?” she asked in a harsh and strict tone.

"Mihana and Jessie don't go to this school, Vice Principal Luna. They're new in town." Twilight said to Luna, while Fluttershy hid behind Twilight from Luna. Luna huffed and walked over to Celestia’s side, “Fine then...”

“Please excuse my sister. She’s a bit too strict with the rules of our school. To what do we owe the pleasure of you visiting our little town?” Celestia asked.

“We’ve come to discuss some…family issues with Twilight and her mother.” Blaster said responded

“Family issues? Twilight is something wrong?” a worried Celestia asked Twilight.

"Oh no, no Celestia-Sama, nothing is wrong, in fact, today I learned that Mihana-chan and I are really cousins," Twilight replied.

"Oh, I see, that sounds wonderful." Celestia smiled. Luna tugged on Celestia's sleeve and showed her the time on her wristwatch. Celestia nodded to Luna and looked over to Blaster.

"well, then I'm afraid this will have to wait until after school. It was nice meeting you, Mr…"

“J’onn Walland, Madam, and this is my brother, Hyde.” Blaster smiled.

“Well then, Mr. Walland, Mr. Hyde, Mr. Overlace and Ms. Runner, enjoy your stay here in Ponyville, come along girls, it’s time for class.” Celestia smiled.

“Twilight, we’ll see you after school and head straight to your place.” Blaster said to Twilight.

“Ok, cya guys.”

"G-goodbye," Twilight and Fluttershy said as they entered the school. As the four began to leave Canterlot high, Celestia whispers to Luna,

“They seem nice.” Luna shrugged her shoulders,

“Meh, I guess. For a minute, I thought that boy and girl went to Crystal Prep, but with a haircut like that…I’d find that hard to believe.”

"agreed," Celestia said as she and Luna walked into the school.

Unbeknownst to them, Jessie had heard their comment about his hair and went into a fiery rage like before. Only this time, Hyde was able to calm him down by knocking him out with a single punch. Hyde, Blaster, and Mihana quickly ushered the unconscious Jessie away before they could be seen by anyone.

-Somewhere at a local café-

“Ugh…did you really have to hit me with that arm?” Jessie said while rubbing the side of his cheek.

"Did you really have to throw a hissy fit in front of the whole school?" Hyde replied with a raised eyebrow. Jessie made a dirty face at Hyde until he was stopped by Mihana.

“Now Jessie, he does have a point.” She said as Jessie mumbled under his breath.

“Now, Uncle Blaster, you were saying about Fluttershy?” Mihana asked.

“It's just as I said, Fluttershy said she was shot and the next thing she knew she was orb enhanced," Blaster told Mihana.

"Incredible, a gun that gives people Orbit…and…you sure you and papa have never encountered something like this before?" Mihana asked.

"Look, kid, if it's new to us, and it's new to your dad." Hyde roughly said as he ate a bite of his cake.

"I can't believe that girl had an orbit and you guys didn't sense it sooner," Jessie said.

“Hey, watch it," Hyde spat back, "The same thing happened with you and D when you two first met, and as I recall, D had to knock your lights out when you started throwing a hissy fit like from earlier," Hyde smirked. Jessie once again grumbles as he eats his slice of cake.

“So, what do you do now?” Mihana asked.

“Right now, we focus on the task we were sent to do.” Blaster said. Blaster looks over at a wall clock and back to the group. “In a few hours, we’ll pick Twilight from school and then head straight to her house.”

“Hopefully we didn’t freak her out too much…” Jessie said.

“You mean YOU didn’t freak her out, I’m still stunned from what Fluttershy did. You should have seen her! She sent a guy flying like a rocket!” Hyde proclaimed.

“Yea, I’ll see it when I see…” Jessie said while rolling his eyes.

As her first day went on, Twilight went about the normal routine of every first school day. But it was clear she wasn't completely focused on her class. Her thoughts were all abuzz by what she learned and saw that morning. Learning she had another father, being part of another family, Orbit was all she could think about during that day. She knew she was told to wait, but she had questions, and she wanted answers.

Soon enough, School let out. After parting ways with Fluttershy, who had to leave for the animal sanctuary, Twilight meant up with Mihana and the others. During the walk, Twilight and Mihana talked with one another, learning more about each other. Eventually, the group makes it to Twilight’s house, a small two-story building with a little garden in the front yard.

“I’m Home!” Twilight called out,

“I’m Home too!” Blaster shouted in an immature tone. Hyde and Jessie chuckled as Mihana rolled her eyes.

“You’re such a dweeb,” Hyde said while tapping Blaster’s shoulders with his fist. Upon hearing Blaster’s voice, Spike pops his head from around the corner.

“Heh, hey Oneesan, aren’t you suppose to bring home one guy?” he smirked.

“Spike! Be nice! They’re our guest.” Twilight shouted while blushing a little.

“You must be Spike, Twilight told us a lot about you. My name is J’onn Walland, is your mother here?” Blaster asked the young man. Spike briefly stared at Blaster and the group before turning down the hall.

"Mom! Twilight's home and she brought a guest!" he called.

The group follows Spike into the living room where Twilight’s mother is sitting on the sofa. As soon as she sees the group, she stands up,

“Oh, I didn't know Twilight was bringing guests home, I'm Twilight Velvet. How can I help you?” she asked. Mihana stepped forward to Velvet.

“Ms. Velvet…My name Mihana Runner…and we have much to talk about…”

-Hour and a half later-

A tall muscular young man stepped into the house.

“I’m home.” He said while talking off his shoes.

"We're in the dining room, Shinning." Velvet called out. Shinning Armor walked down the hall to the dining room.

“I hope you got dinner started, cuz I am starving-" he stopped as he saw not only Velvet and Twilight at the table, but Blaster and Hyde sitting across from them. In the conjoining living room, he saw Mihana and Jessie with Spike.

“what’s going on here?” Shinning Armor asked.

“You must be Shinning Armor. My name is J’onn Walland, and this is my brother, Hyde. We’re here on behave of the Runner Family to talk about Twilight." Blaster said while holding out his hand to Shining Armor.

“Runners? hmm…well…I guess it was a matter of time before you guys showed up.” Shinning Armor sighed.

“YOU KNEW TOO?!!!” Twilight yelled out.

“Twilight, please, calm down sweety.” Velvet said while trying to calm down Twilight.

“How can I when my whole family knew I had another father and didn’t tell me?!” Twilight shouted.

“Hey! This is news to me!” Spike shouted back.

“Twilight, I’m sure your parents and brother had their reasons. I’m sure they just wanted you to have a normal life. I’m sorry you feel hurt but you must understand.” Jessie said while looking over to the group at the table.

Twilight sadly looked down,

“Fine…” she said as she sat back in her seat. Velvet places her left hand on Twilight’s shoulder.

“I’m sorry, please continue.” She said to Blaster.

“Uh…well…” Blaster said while shuffling through some documents on the table.

“Well, as per Runner Tradition, Twilight is entitled to a share in Leonardo’s inheritance, should anything happen to him.” Blaster said to Velvet.

"and you might be getting cash sooner than expected with everything going on," Hyde said

“Why? What’s going on? And why isn’t this Leonardo here telling us all this himself?” Shinning Armor asked harshly while drinking from a beer bottle.

"Well,…let's just say…The Runner family has been in quite a crisis lately…forcing all Runner to be on high alert…” Blaster nervously said.

“Oh my, I hope everything is ok.” Velvet said in a worried tone.

“Yea, it’s nothing they can’t handle. The Runners are more focused on what Leo did, in fact, when Leo's mother and grandmother, or twilight's grandmother and great-grandmother learned what you and Leo did, they both threaten to castrate him with a melon Baller…it was kinda funny." Hyde chuckled, followed by Blaster, Jessie, Spike and finally Shinning Armor.

“Boys! This is a serious matter, you shouldn’t be laughing.” An upset Velvet said.

"Hehe, sorry mom…wait, he's scared of his own mom and grandma? I thought this guy was supposed to be some brave warrior type guy.” Shining armor asked.

“Well…” Blaster said as he and Hyde both looked at each other nervously while remembering that the two women they were talking about are both well known for their violent tempers.

“…He just knows how to take a lose…” Hyde finally replied.

“yea…let’s go with that…” Mihana laughed nervously.

“and if you know what’s good for you, you’d do the same.” Velvet said while grabbing Shinning Armor’s ear.

“Hey! Hey! Ow! I’m sorry!” Shinning Armor shouted.

During this time, twilight just started down at her feet quietly.

“Twilight…are you ok?” Mihana asked her.

"Well,…it's just…" Twilight began before standing up from her seat.

"IM SORRY! I'm sorry for causing such a fuzz! I didn't mean to stir up so much trouble in your family!" Twilight said while bowing before Mihana.

“Twilight?”

“Twilie” Velvet and Shinning Armor both said worryingly.

“Geez Kid, why are you apologizing? Look the Runners are a tough Family, been like that for over 300 years now. They’ll get through this like they always do. So, don’t worry.” Hyde said to her.

"I-I know…but it's just…causing trouble in a family is never a good thing…I just feel bad that's all…and as for the inheritance, please tell The Runner family and my dad-I mean, Mr. Leonardo that my family and I are doing just fine and that they don't have to worry about us…that's all." Twilight said. Impressed by her maturity, everyone smiled at Twilight, everyone but Spike,

"Geez, sis! What's wrong with you?! These guys say we're about to get a boatload of cash and you go and refuse it?! Come on!” Spike yelled.

“SPIKE!” Twilight shouted back.

“Not cool Dude,” followed by Shinning Armor,

“OUT! NOW!” Velvet yelled at spike as he mumbled while walking out of the room.

“I’m sorry about him, he’s still quite young.” Velvet said to Blaster and Hyde.

“Meh, he does have a point.” Hyde shrugged. Blaster elbowed Hyde’s arm and stood up from his seat.

“Well if there isn’t anything else. I think we should be on our way.” He said.

“But it’s almost sunset and I bet none of you have eaten yet. I’ll get dinner started.” Velvet said while going to the kitchen.

"Oh no! You don't have to that ma'am," Jessie called to Velvet.

“Nonsense, I insist you stay for dinner. Now make yourselves at home. And Dinner will be ready in a jiffy." Velvet said as she got busy.

“I won’t mind if you stayed.” Twilight smiled.

“We’d be honored.” Mihana smiled back.

Sometime after dinner, Mihana, Jessie, Hyde, and Blaster began to leave the Twilight household.

“Do you have any place to stay?” Twilight asked as she walked the group out.

“We’ll be staying at a nearby hotel. So, don’t worry about it.” Jessie said to her.

"Oh, ok then. See you all tomorrow." Twilight waved.

"Cya Twi, and tell your mom dinner was great," Hyde said to her.

"Goodbye, Twilight Sparkle" Mihana smiled as she and the others left. Twilight smiled as she watched the four walk down the street.

As the group was walking, Hyde spoke to Blaster.

“Geez, that kid is something, where I was ready to take a blow for that bastard Leo, but she ends up apologizing…”

“She’s modest I’ll give her that.” Blaster replied.

"Yea, but now that that's out of the way, we still have a new problem, that Orbit Gun," Jessie said in a serious tone.

“Fluttershy said there were others who were shot by that thing, which means there might be other orb-enhanced in Ponyville.” Mihana followed up.

"yea, but for now, we can worry about that tomorrow. I need to hit the hay." Hyde said while yawning loudly while making Blaster, Jessie and Mihana laugh.

Back at the Twilight household, Twilight lays down on her bed in her pajamas, still thinking about the eventful day she had experienced. As she stared up at her ceiling, she notices a strange glow coming from her dresser drawer next to her bed. She opens the drawer and pulls out a ring. On the ring was an Orb, shining a bright grayish mulberry glow with an image of a pink six-pointed sparkle surrounded by five small white sparkles. As she stared at the orb, Twilight began to think…

“This orb…The Runner Family…Orbit…what does all this mean? And what does it have to do with me?”

“Twilight, Lights out!” Velvet called from the hall.

“O-ok! Good night!” Twilight called back as she quickly puts the orb away and crawls into bed for the night.

Meanwhile, unbeknownst to Twilight, two strangers hiding in the shadows watch the Twilight household.

“You know what to do…” one stranger said to the other, as second stranger’s eyes began to glow.

Chapter 1


It has been a few weeks since the group met Twilight and her family. While Hyde and Blaster investigate the mysterious shooting around Ponyville, Mihana and Twilight begin spending a lot of time together. Through Mihana, Twilight begins to learn more about the Runner Family. Mihana also tells Twilight about her Mother and her siblings, both biological and adopted, but mysteriously leaving out her Father. Whenever Twilight asks about her father, Leonardo, Mihana is quick to change the subject. One morning, when twilight is about to leave for school, she is greeted by Fluttershy, Mihana, and Jessie.

“Oh, good morning.” Twilight smiles.

“Good Morning Twilight-Chan,” Fluttershy said back

"what brings you guys here?" Twilight asks while walking down the road, with Mihana, Jessie, and Fluttershy following her.

“We thought it would be nice to walk you to school.” Mihana smiled.

"Oh, thanks, guys." Twilight smiled brightly. She then looks around. “where’s Mr. Hyde and Blaster?” she asks

"They're doing some investigating into the Shootings around town, trying to find that stranger who shot Fluttershy and tracking down that Orbit gun," Jessie replied to Twilight.

“Oh, I see. I hope they find something. From what I hear, it’s been months since the last one.” Twilight said.

As the four walks down the road, Jessie finally spoke up,

“Hey Twilight, I’ve always wondered something, why is this place called Ponyville anyway?” Jessie asked with a confused look on his face.

“Oh, that’s simple, our town crest shows the image of an earth pony, Pegasus, and unicorn, surrounded by four alicorns. Originally the town was going to be named something else, however, visitors would see the crest and nickname the place pony town or village. eventually, the nickname stuck, and Ponyville was born.” Twilight explained.

“Oh, wow. For a second there I thought all of you were like, pony people in disguise.” Jessie replied.

The girls all laugh at Jessie’s comment

"You've been hanging around Papa way too long," Mihana tells Jessie while chuckling.

The four soon arrive at Canterlot High, at the front doors stands Vice-Principal Luna, welcoming the students as they enter.

“ah, Ms. Sparkle and Fluttershy. So good of you two to be here on time for once.” Luna smirks

"Good morning to you too Vice-Principal Luna," Twilight said while bowing to her.

“Y-Yea…Good morning.” Fluttershy nervously said.

Luna watches as Twilight and Fluttershy enter the building, but her sight soon falls on Mihana and Jessie.

“Runner and Overlace, was it?” Luna asked the two.

"Yes, ma'am," Jessie replies.

“I assume you were here to walk Sparkle and Fluttershy here. But why are you still here?” Luna asks.

"You see ma'am, we were hoping if we could use your school's library," Mihana replied.

“For what exactly?

"We just want to do some research on the shooting around town, we already been to the town library and didn't find much, so we thought we try here," Jessie said to her.

“You mean those silly little rumors of people being mysterious shot but coming out unharmed? Why would you want to research such a silly little topic?” Luna asked with a raised eyebrow.

“It’s kinda our thing to investigate strange happenings…” Jessie smiled nervously.

Luna places her chin in her hand and thinks,

“well, it’s against school rules to allow strangers in…but since Celestia trusts you, I suppose no harm will be done. IF you two behave yourselves.” She said to them.

"Oh yes, ma'am. We will." Mihana said as she looked directly at Jessie, who was sheepishly looking away from her.

“Good. Follow me please.” Luna said as she entered the school with Mihana and Jessie close behind her.

As Mihana and Jessie follow Luna, they marvel at the sheer size and scope at the inside of Canterlot High, while peeking into a few of the classrooms while class was in progress.

Luna soon comes to a massive two-story library, leaving Mihana and Jessie in awe.

“Everything you need is here. If you need me I’ll be in my office. I remind you again, behave yourselves.” Luna told the two.

“Yes Ma’am.” Jessie and Mihana replied as Luna felt the library.

“Man, this place is huge. My old school has nothing on this place.” Jessie commented while looking around

“Yea, but let’s get started," Mihana said as she took a seat at a computer desk.

“what do you think we’ll find here?” Jessie asked.

“I dunno, but hopefully something. Uncle Hyde and Blaster have the local library and townhall covered we can at least help.” Mihana said with a serious look on her face.

“well…ok then…” a bewildered Jessie said as he got to work himself.

-a few hours later-

“Man, I’m bored…” Jessie whined.

"You hardly did anything," Mihana said while still working on a computer.

“If you want something to do, then I might have something," Luna said from the doorway.

“GAH!” Jessie yelped as Luna’s sudden appearance caused him to fall out of his chair.

"what is it, Vice-Principal Luna?" Mihana asked.

“I need someone to give this note to the head of the party planning committee. She’s setting up for the fall formal. And with everyone still in class, I figured one of you could do it.” Luna said.

"I'll do it," Jessie said as he got up and walked over to Luna.

"Very good then," Luna said as she gave the note to Jessie. "She'll be in the gym. It's down the hall to the left. You can't miss it." Luna said and left.

"I'll be back," Jessie said to Mihana.

“Don’t get into any trouble!” Mihana called out to him.

“Yea, yea…” Jessie replied while waving his hand at her and walking away.

Jessie eventually makes it to the Gymnasium. There he sees the entire gym beautifully decorated with streamers, balloons, and banners hanging on the walls and ceilings.

“Whoa…check this place out…This is really something.” Jessie said to himself.

“Thank you!” a voice suddenly blurred out.

"GAHH!!!" Jessie yelled while jumping from fright. Jessie turns around to find the source of the voice, instead, he sees a girl. The girl is about Twilight's age, but will a striped T-shirt, cutoffs and wild brilliant rose hair that looks like pink chewing gum.

“I did it myself. Been working on it since morning.” The girl said to Jessie.

“wait…you did all this? By yourself?” a bewildered Jessie asked.

“yep. It’s kinda my thing around here.” The girl smiled while walking pass Jessie.

"Wow." A speechless Jessie said as he watched the girl climb up a latter to hang up a banner. "So, if you did this, you must be part of the Party planning committee. I'm looking for a…Pinkamena D. Pie.” Jessie asked the girl.

“Hai, that’s me. But everyone calls me Pinkie Pie instead.” She smiles while sliding down the latter.

“Oh, well then uh…Pinkie Pie…Vice-Principal Luna told me to give you this.” Jessie said while handing out the note.

In a quick pink blur, Pinkie Pie snatches the note out of his hand and reads it.

“yep, got it!” she yells and gets back to work.

“So…You really went all out for this formal thing…” Jessie said while looking around the gym once more.

“Tsh, this ain’t nothing.” Pinkie Pie said while blowing up some balloons. “You should have seen last years. Now that was a party!" she happily smiled.

“Heh, right…” Jessie smirked while leaning against the wall.

“Hey…wait a minute…Now that I think about it…I’ve never seen you around her before…” Pinkie pie said while giving Jessie a suspicious look.

Jessie was caught off guard by Pinkie’s remark and tried to think of something to say.

“Uh well uh…My name is Jessie Overlace…and I’m…”

“A new student? A transfer? A foreign exchange student?” Pinkie Pie asked while happily jumping up and down in front of Jessie. She suddenly stops and lets out a loud and long gasp.

“Are you one of those aliens everyone talks about on the news?!!!” Pinkie Pie loudly asks while getting very close to Jessie’s face. Dumbfounded by the sudden questions, Jessie tries to speak.

“Wh-what? N-no. I’m from Earth and- “

“Pinkie Pie!” a voiced called out

Suddenly bursting through the side door was a tall, tanned skin girl walked in, holding several cases of fizzing pop in each hand.

“Where do you want these to go?” she called.

"Whoa,…she's strong." Jessie marveled as he watched the girl holding the cases with ease. She wore a western suit outfit, complete with a cowboy hat and boots.

“Put them over there AJ!” Pinkie called as she pointed to the corner of the gym.

“AJ?” Jessie asked

“Yea, That’s Applejack, my cousin.” Pinkie Pie happily said.

"Really?" a stunned Jessie said as he looked at Pinkie and Applejack while noticing how much taller Applejack was than Pinkie and their whole attire. “Uh…Could have fooled me.” Jessie remarked.

"Who's your friend there, Pinkie?" Applejack asks while noticing Jessie, upon being noticed, Jessie tries to introduce himself.

“Oh, uh…I’m Jessie…Jessie Overlace and I’m- “

"Well it's mighty fine t' meet ya, Jessie, I'm Applejack, any friend of Pinkie's is a friend of mine." Applejack said as she grabbed Jessie's hand and shook it hard and fast.

“GAH! Y-yea...n-nice to meet you too!” Jessie grunted while struggling to get out of Applejack’s grip. “Geez, this girl has the strength of an ox!” Jessie thinks to himself. After a few more minutes of handshaking, Jessie finally frees himself from Applejack's grip.

"I knew you guys would become friends." Pinkie Pie giggled.

“Yea...something like that…” Jessie said while holding his newly bruised hand.

“Jessie-Kun?” a voice called out to Jessie. Jessie looks over and sees Twilight and Fluttershy at the doorway.

“Oh, Yea guys!” Jessie called.

“You know this feller Twi?” Applejack asked her

“Yea, He’s my cousin’s boyfriend, I told you about him, remember? What are you doing here?” Twilight asked.

"Well…uh…" Jessie tried to think of something as Hyde told him to not tell anyone else about the Orbit Gun. "Mihana and I are just borrowing the school library for research." He responded.

“Oh, Mihana-Chan is here too?” Twilight asked a little stunned.

Suddenly, Pinkie Pie lets out a loud and long gasp. “YOUR COUSIN IS HERE?! WHY DIDN’T YOU SAY SO?! I WANNA MEET HER!” Pinkie Pie shouts as she tries to run off, only to be caught by Applejack.

“Hold on there Sugercube, we still have work to do here.” Applejack tells Pinkie Pie.

“Aw, Phewie…” Pinkie Pie pouts.

"It's ok Pinkie, Fluttershy and I were sent to help out with the party decorations," Twilight said.

“ah, that’s mighty kind of ya, Twi” Applejack happily smiled.

However, soon enough, a thought pops into Twilight’s head as she slyly smiles.

“But…since Jessie is here...You’d already have enough people, and won’t be needing me. So instead I’ll just go and…check on Mihana-chan, ok bye!” Twilight says as she suddenly runs out of the Gym, leaving everyone stunned.

“Uh?! HEY! TWILIGHT!” Jessie shouts as he soon grunts. “That alil…” he says as he runs after her. “GET BACK HERE!!!”

As Jessie tries to run after Twilight, he suddenly bumps into another student who was walking by.

“Hey! Watch it!” the student shouted.

Jessie looks at the student he just bumped into, the student is wearing a Gakuran school uniform, with a cap on. Under the cap, Jessie can see what looks like rainbow hair.

“Oh…uh, sorry man. Didn’t see where I was going.” Jessie apologized.

While this goes on, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie watch as the student give Jessie a dirty look before walking away.

“You better be sorry…ain’t no punk with clown hair going to ruin my day.” The student spat while walking down the hall.

Upon hearing the words ‘clown hair’, flames began to burst from Jessie’s eyes.

“WHAT DID YOU SAY YOU LIL’ SHIT?!!!” Jessie yells

Fluttershy’s eyes widen with fear as she watches Jessie.

“Oh no, it’s just like what Twilight said happened the last time!” Fluttershy thinks to herself.

-Quick flashback of Jessie slugging a thug after meeting Twilight-

Fluttershy runs over to the enraged Jessie.

"JESSIE! Please! Stop!" she screams. Sensing trouble, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie run after her.

“YOUR ASS IS MINE PUNK!!!” Jessie screams while running after the student who insulted his hair, only to be stopped by Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and Applejack.

“Jessie! Please! Don’t do this!” Fluttershy pleads with him.

“Whoa! What’s gotten into you?!” Pinkie Pie cries out.

"Whoa, there partner! That ain't gentlemen like! Now ease on down!” Applejack said as she holds Jessie back by his arms. Holding him in place.

The student simply looks back at the struggle, he scoffs at the group and then walks away. Once the student was out of sight, Jessie gives up his struggle and falls to the ground, panting. The girls sigh a breath of relief that Jessie had finally calmed down.

“Hmph…asshole...” Jessie huffs.

“ah, don’t let him get t’ ya.” Applejack reassures Jessie.

“Who was that guy anyway?” Jessie asks.

“Rainbow Dash? He’s just a big party pooper, He thinks he’s a big shot cause he’s captain of most of the sports teams in the school.” Pinkie Pie answers.

"Rainbow Dash, Huh? His ass is mine the next time I see him…" Jessie thinks to himself.

“A-are you all right, Jessie-kun?” Fluttershy softly asks

“Yea…S-sorry about that guys…” Jessie replies while looking down in shame.

“Ain’t no big deal Sugercube, but you got one hell of a temper tha’s for sure. And over hair too! Ain’t your pa or ma ever tell ya not to get so riled up like that?” Applejack said in a serious tone.

Jessie rubs the back of his head in embarrassment,

“Yea…their not the only ones…” Jessie responded.

Applejack sighed and helped Jessie up from the ground.

“Just try t’ keep a cool head for now on, ok?” Applejack asked

“No promises” Jessie shrugged his shoulders and smiled.

“Your’ a nice fella Jessie, I like you.” Applejack smiled.

"and you, geez, I only know like two guys who can hold me back the way you did," Jessie commented on Applejack's strength.

“Oh, you have no idea! Applejack is like crazy strong!” Pinkie Pie said as she skipped back into the gym.

“ah, what can I say? Farm work ain’t an easy job." Applejack blushed while smiling. "Now come on Y'all, we got work too." Applejack command.

“yea…work…your next Twilight…” Jessie said under his breath as Fluttershy pats his shoulder before walking back into the gym.

Twilight walks into the library and sees Mihana busy at a computer desk. Twilight walks over to Mihana and taps her shoulder.

"Hey, Mihana-Chan" Twilight says, while also making Mihana jump a bit.

“OH! Twilight…I…I thought you were in class.” A surprised Mihana said.

“I was kinda chosen to help decorate the gym, but Jessie said he would cover for me and so I decided to see you.” Twilight smiled.

“Jessie…said he would cover…for you?” Mihana asked Twilight while looking at her with a raised eyebrow.

“Hehe, y-yea.” Twilight nervously smiled while rubbing the back of her head. “Anyway, what are you doing here?” she asks.

“Looking up those shootings. Uncle Hyde and Blaster are doing the same, so I figured I do the same.” Mihana answered.

“I see…Find anything?” Twilight asks.

"Nothing…it's like the people who were shot never reported or just…disappeared," Mihana said in a worried tone.

"I'm sure you'll find something," Twilight reassured her while sitting next to Mihana. "Mihana, can I ask you something?" Twilight asks

“yes?”

“Why are you so determined about all of this? Jessie told me when you guys first got here, you were…how Jessie put it…hellbent on finding me. Now that this whole ‘orbit gun’ business started, you’ve been focused on that as well…Why?” Twilight asks.

Mihana stops what’s she’s doing and looks down,

“I don’t want to let them down…again.”

“What do you mean?” Twilight asks in a confused tone.

“A while back…My papa and I…we weren’t on very good terms…Long before I was born, or before he even met my mama…My papa was part of the Order, he was even one of the original eight members of G.O. Force, along with Uncle Hyde and Blaster. Growing up, I thought it was cool what my papa was doing, but I as I grew other, it felt like all my papa cared about was fighting…and I won't lie…I started to act sorta like a brat for it…not only did I give papa a hard time, I have the rest of the family a hard time…and I mean…I real hard time." Mihana said while placing her head into her hands.

Twilight places her hand on her shoulder, as Mihana sat up and took a deep breath.

“I did some things that most Runner would consider disgraceful…but I didn't care, I was angry cause this stupid job took away my papa. But then one day, my grandmother...or our grandmother…Lucy gave me what most would call, ‘a kick in the pants', and man was it a hard kick. She gave me an in-depth history on the Runner family and saw all the sacrifices Runners made over the years, including the ones my papa made. At that point, I realized how much of a brat I was, and my Orbit finally awoke. After that…I vowed to better for not just my family but for my papa.” Mihana said while holding a fist to her chest.

“Mihana…where is your papa now?” Twilight asked with a frown.

“I don’t know…and even if I did know…I’m not allowed to tell. But where ever he is…I’m sure he’ll be back. I know it.” Mihana replies.

Upon hearing Mihana’s answer, Twilight begins to wonder if her father, Leonardo, would do the same.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to dump on you like that.” Mihana apologies while wiping her eyes.

“No, no, it’s ok. I was going to ask you more about the Runner family anyway. Thanks.” Twilight smiled.

Mihana smiles back as the two begin to talk once more.

Sometime after the school day, Jessie, Pinkie Pie, Applejack and Fluttershy wait by the front door.

“Man... I never thought I work so hard just to set up for some party…” Jessie winced.

"You get used to it." Pinkie smiled while she looked like she had more energy to spare.

The four as soon joined by Mihana and Twilight.

"Hey everyone," Twilight said, but her smile turns sour when she sees Jessie sowling at her.

“Glad you could join us.” Applejack said to Twilight with arms crossed.

“Sorry, it’s my fault, I held her up," Mihana said while bowing.

“Heh, I figured,” Applejack said while adjusting her hat. “So, you much be this long-lost cousin we heard ‘bout, Name’s Applejack, nice to meet ya’.” She said while shaking Mihana’s hand

“Oh, nice to meet you…” Mihana smiled. “Man, this girl has some grip.” She thinks to herself.

In a blinding pink blur, Pinkie Pie appears before Mihana.

“GAH!” Mihana jumps upon seeing the sudden appears of Pinkie

“HI there! I’m Pinkie Pie! Twilight told us so much about you! Are you really a mermaid?! Are you really an alien?! Is it true that Twilight and Fluttershy have superpowers?! Do you have superpowers?!” Pinkie asks as her wide excited eyes stare deeply into Mihana’s shocked and nervous eyes.

“Uh…” was all Mihana could say as the sudden questions completely dumbfounded her.

“I know, right?” Jessie commented to Mihana.

“Heh, Sorry ‘bout that. My cuz gits a bit too excited when meetin’ someone new.” Applejack said as she pulled Pinkie Pie away from Mihana.

"Uh, it's ok. Really. I don't mind." Mihana laughs Nervously, while Jessie, Twilight, and Fluttershy snicker under their breaths.

When the group walks out of the school, they see Hyde and Blaster standing at the front gates.

“Mr. Hyde? Mr. Walland? What are you doing here?” Twilight asked.

"Your mom asked us to pick you up after school, she said she wants you to pick up a few things for dinner," Hyde replied while handing Twilight a small piece of paper.

"Aww,…she knows I hate doing the shopping!" Twilight whined.

“I figure that’s payback for bailin’ out on us, huh?” Applejack chuckled, follow by Mihana and Jessie.

“What now?” Hyde asked.

“Twilight-chan and I were supposed to help decorate the gym, but she skipped out on it and made Jessie do her work," Fluttershy explained.

“Wait, You and Him, do your work?” Hyde asked Twilight as she nodded. “Hehe, Damn girl. You must be a Runner then.” Hyde chuckled while twilight rubbed the back of her head with a nervous smile.

“What are you two doing here?” Blaster asked Mihana and Jessie.

“We thought we’d help you on your…ahem…’research’” Jessie replied.

"Research? Oh! yes! Our research, uh…thanks, guys." Blaster says while Hyde rolls his eyes at him.

“What Research?” Pinkie Pie asked while appearing behind Hyde and Blaster. Pinkie’s sudden appears makes Hyde jump while Blaster seemingly disappears in a puff of dust.

"Wh-what the…" dumbfounded, Hyde looks from where Pinkie is now to where she was. "How did you…"

“She does that…” Jessie explained

“GAH! This is so exciting! Meeting so many new people all at once!” At that moment, Pinkie lets out another deep gasp, “We should throw a party! Do you like parties?! I love parties! We should totally have one!” Pinkie cheered while Hyde gave her a deeply confused face.

“Aw, a party, for us? How nice of you.” Blaster’s voice spoke out.

Upon hearing Blaster’s voice, the group looks around to try and spot him. Fluttershy eventually looks up and sees Blaster hanging from a tree limb.

“Blaster falls down now.” He says as the limb finally breaks off, causing Blaster to faceplant to the floor, landing right in front of Hyde and Pinkie. Blaster then stands back up, as if nothing had happened and smiles.

“So…Are you guys aliens? Are you from another galaxy? Do they have parties on your planet? Do you like cake? DO YOU HAVE SUPER POWERS LIKE G.O. FORCE AND TWILIGHT?!!” Pinkie Pie asked once again while happily jumping up and down.

“Yes, Yes, Yes, and Duh, who doesn’t? and no.” Blaster replied while answering all of Pinkie’s questions in order.

Pinkie lets out another long and deep gasp before clinging on to Blaster for a hug.

“I CAN’T BELIEVE IT! MY FIRST FRIEND WHOSE ALSO AN ALIEN! THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER!!!” Pinkie cries for joy

“Heh, I like this kid, she’s weird.” Blaster chuckles.

"Yea, you would," Hyde smirks, while Twilight, Fluttershy, Mihana, and Jessie all giggle.

At that moment, Applejack pries Pinkie Pie away from Blaster.

“Mah Apologies sir, my cuz can be alil to hype’. Name’s Applejack.” Applejack said while holding on to Pinkie by the back of her collar.

“and I’m Pinkie Pie!” Pinkie happily proclaimed while waving her hand.

“Friends of your’s Twilight?” Hyde asked

"Hehe, Yea, I've known them for a while now," Twilight replied while chuckling.

“Pleased to meet ya,” Applejack said while holding out her hand to shake Hyde’s right hand.

“Hyde. The dweeb next to me is my brother, J’onn.” Hyde said while shaking Applejack’s hand

“Nice to meet ya’ll, and Wo-We! You got some grip with that hand ther’ mister.” Applejack exclaimed while shaking hands with Hyde.

“Uh…yea…you could say that.” Hyde smiled nervously.

"Well, it was nice meetin' all ya'll. But I have to git goin'. Have to pick up my lil sis from school, and this one's sis gets mighty crabby if she's late." Applejack said while putting Pinkie Pie over her shoulder.

“Trust me, it’s not a good idea to get Maud angry.” Pinkie whispered.

"Cya Twi, Fluttershy. It was nice meetin' ya Mihana. And Jessie, remember to keep that temper in check." Applejack said while walking off with Pinkie Pie over her shoulder.

“It was nice meeting you too.” Mihana smiled.

"BYE, YOU GUYS!!!" Pinkie cries out while waving goodbye.

Once Applejack and Pinkie are out of view, Hyde looks over to Jessie with a raised eyebrow and a mean glare.

“Do I even want to know?” Hyde simply asks.

"Well uh,…see you…there was this guy…and uh…well..." Jessie struggled to find the words he wanted to use to explain himself to Hyde.

“Um…well, Jessie almost got into a fight…But it wasn’t his fault. Rainbow Dash made fun of his hair! Jessie was about to do something like before, but Applejack, Pinkie and I stopped him just in time.” Fluttershy explained.

“Ugh, Rainbow Dash…I should have known. I really won’t mind if you busted his teeth for once.” Twilight scoffed.

Hyde pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed deeply.

“well whoever started it, the last thing we need is you causing trouble at ANOTHER school. You’re lucky Fluttershy and those girls were there to stop you.” Hyde harshly said to Jessie while he rubbed the back of his head.

“Sorry…” Jessie said in a low voice.

“I Kinda like those girls. That Pie girl kinda reminded me of…well…me when I was her age.” Blaster smiled.

“What do you mean ‘Kinda’?” Hyde asked with a smirk on his face. Blaster responded to Hyde comment by playfully punching Hyde’s arm. Hyde responded by punching Blaster in his arm while chuckling.

“Alright everyone, let’s get a move on. Your mom would be home until late this evening, and you got shopping to do.” Hyde said to the group.

“I know…” Twilight grumbled.

“Coming Fluttershy?” Blaster asked.

“Oh, I wish, but I have worked at the animal sanctuary. I’ll see you all tomorrow though.” Fluttershy responded.

“Alright then, cya.” Blaster said.

As the group waved goodbye to Fluttershy, they made their way to the market district.

The five spend about an hour collecting the items Twilight's mother requested before stopping to grab a bite to eat at a local fast food place. During which, Hyde notices Twilight giving an uncertain look.

“Alright, split it,” Hyde says to Twilight

“u-uh?” A surprised Twilight replied.

“You have something on your mind. So just let it out.” Hyde demanded.

Mihana, Jessie, and Blaster all look to Twilight to see what she had to say. Twilight shallows hard and thought of what she wanted to say.

“I want to know more about Orbit. Like how it works and stuff. I know you said you’d tell me at a later time, but I just want to know.” Twilight said to Hyde.

Hyde sighed and stood up,

"Let's take this outside." He said and walked out, as Mihana, Jessie, Blaster, and Twilight followed him. Once outside, Hyde looked over to Twilight. “So, you wanna know about Orbit huh? Well truthy…I don’t know much a whole lot about it either. I was hoping you’d wait until your uncle came and explained it to you.”

“My Uncle?” Twilight asked.

“Papa?” a shocked Mihana asked.

“Wait, Red’s coming here?” Jessie asked

"Yep, D said he was coming back to see you. And I figured he'd explain what Orbit is to you since his master explained it to him. But since you want to know so badly, I guess I can cover the basics." Hyde said

“o-ok…” Twilight said as she took a seat on a bench, with Mihana and Jessie joining her. Hyde and Blaster stood before the three. Blaster looks to Hyde and Hyde nods his head. The two men then took out their Orbs.

“Has you already known, Orbit is a set and/or a collection of abilities and powers a person has or born with. For someone to have an Orbit, they must be Orb-Enhanced, meaning they must be born with or bond to a Power Orb, like these, only Blaster and I were born with these orbs.” Hyde explained while Twilight was writing down notes “Another thing you should know about Orbit is that they come in different types.”

“Types? Like those creatures from that video game?” Twilight asked

“NO TWILIGHT! Orbit is NOT POKEMON! but yes, it’s kinda like that…” Blaster remarked, leaving Jessie and Mihana to chuckle.

"It's ok, I made the same mistake," Jessie whispered to Twilight.

“Oy…Nerds…” Hyde mumbled while rolling his eyes. “Anyway, different orbit users often fall into different types or styles depending on their orbit. You have the normal types were a person’s orbit gives them enhanced Strength, speed, reflexes, eyesight, hearing, and durability. The second type is for users who have body modifications. The third type is mostly a subgroup of Orbit users known as elementals, meaning they can control one or more of an element, like fire, water, earth air, etc. But it’s important to understand, no two person’s orbits are the same.”

“You mean, two people can’t have the same powers?” Twilight asked as she kept writing down notes

"We're not saying it's not possible for two people to have the same orbit, it's just that it's extremely rare," Blaster told Twilight.

"But how is that possible?" Twilight asked with eager eyes.

“With so many power/ability combinations, the odds of two or more people getting the same Orbit is a pretty slim chance," Hyde explained.

“I see…” Twilight said as she continued writing. As she wrote, Jessie was amazed by how many pages she had written.

Hyde looked at his watch,

“it’s getting late, we should go.” He said

“But wait! I have so many other questions! What’s kind of body modifications are there? What other elements are there? What kind of training do you need?” Twilight asked while trying to get more information out of Hyde.

"We can talk about it later, now let's go," Hyde said while slightly annoyed.

“But-But-But-!!!” Twilight said before being picked up by Hyde and being placed over his shoulder

“I said. Later.” Hyde grunted. “I knew it was a can of worms, but I opened it anyway…” Hyde thought to himself as Blaster, Jessie and Mihana followed him.

Eventually, Hyde sets Twilight down, only on the promise that she won’t annoy him with more questions. While walking with Mihana and Jessie, Twilight looks over her notes.

“I still can’t believe all this stuff is for real, and it’s only the tip of the iceberg!” Twilight happily said.

“Don’t expect to understand it all at once. There’s still a lot to cover.” Mihana told Twilight.

“One thing I don’t get…” Twilight said with a confused look,

“‘One’ Thing?” Jessie asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Mr. Hyde said you two were able to find me by sensing my presence, but that would mean you two have the same ability, and Hyde said that it was rare for two people to have the same ability sets."

“It’s simple really.” Mihana said, “While yes, it is rare for two people to have the same orbit, there are some abilities all orbit users have, one of them is being able to sense other nearby Orbit users.” Mihana explained.

“Interesting," Twilight said while writing it down in her notebook.

"There's also the Orbit throw," Jessie said

“What’s that one?”

Jessie looks around and sees a trash can with a lid on it. Jessie takes the lid and throws it hard at a wall across the street. During which, both Jessie’s hand and the trash lip was surrounded by a bright red aura. Once the lids touch the wall, it flies back to Jessie’s hand.

"That is," Jessie said.

“WHOA!!” Twilight says as her eyes are wide open and while she furiously writes in her notebook. Mihana shakes her head while smirking at Twilight’s reaction. “And…I can do something like that?” Twilight asked

“well, yea. But it takes a lot of practice. Trust me, the first few times…won’t be pretty.” Jessie said while rubbing the back of his head with a nervous smile.

“I think I’ll be looking forward to that.” Twilight smiled.

Suddenly, without warning, a young man, about Twilight’s height, rams into Twilight, knocking her over to the ground, while the young man keeps running. "ow!" Twilight says as she rubs her backside.

“Twilight! Are you ok?” Mihana said as she helped Twilight up.

“yea, guess I should watch where I’m going.” Twilight sheepishly replied.

“HEY BUDDY! WATCH IT, WILL YA!?! Gilipollas…” Jessie shouted as he watched the young man run down the corner. “who was that guy?”

“No clue…” Twilight said as she dusted herself.

“Oh My! Twilight! Your uniform!” Mihana exclaimed as she pointed out that Twilight’s uniform was covered in dirt.

“Geez, was that guy rolling in the mud or something?” Jessie flatly asked.

“Eww.” Twilight cringed as she tried to wipe the dust off her.

“Come on, let's get you cleaned up," Mihana said as she leads Twilight to her house, there Hyde and Blaster were waiting.

“There you guys are.” Blaster said to the trio.

"Geez Twi, what you do? Take a mud bath?" Hyde asks upon seeing the huge dirt stain on her uniform.

"Some punk coded in dirt ran into Twilight, didn't even stop to say sorry," Jessie explained.

“Oy…kids these days,” Hyde said while shaking his head. “well it ain’t too bad, just a simple wash and it’ll come right out.”

"Twilight, we already bought the groceries into the house, your brothers are home as well." Blaster said to her.

"Thanks, guys." Twilight as she headed to the door.

"Time to head back to the hotel you two," Hyde said to Mihana and Jessie.

"Actually, if it's all right. We'd like to stay with Twilight for a little while longer." Mihana said to Hyde while making Twilight smile.

“Fine, Fine. Just don’t be out too late.” Hyde said as he walked over to Jessie and handed him a small device. “Just in case.” He said as Jessie nodded to Hyde, after which, Hyde began walking away.

"Cya you guys later, and see you tomorrow Twilight." Blaster said while waving goodbye.

Twilight smiled at Jessie and Mihana and welcomed them into her home.

Elsewhere down an alleyway, the same young man who knocked over Twilight stops by a trash can, from there, a shadowy figure stepped forward.

"Well?" the figure asked.

“I followed them like you said and I tagged her. I now have a way to get in without being detected.” The young man said to figure.

“Good. Once you’re in, take Sparkle and bring her to the meeting spot.” The figure commanded

“Gotcha” the young man nodded.

“and make it quick, the others are getting impatient, there can be no mistakes this time.” The figure said to the young man.

"Relax, they don't call me Quicktrip for nothing." He smiled before disappearing into dust.

Chapter 2


Once inside, Twilight turns to Mihana and Jessie

“I’m going to take a quick shower; you guys just relax and we’ll get dinner started.” She said to the couple

“Sounds good to me.” Jessie smiled.

While twilight walks to the bathroom, Mihana and Jessie head to the living room, there Twilight's brother's Shining Armor and Spike greet them.

"Hey, guys. What's up?" Shinning Armor says while on his recliner

“We figured we stay for dinner. Uncle Hyde and Uncle J’onn already went back to the hotel.” Mihana explained while sitting next to Spike on the sofa while he’s playing on his phone.

"Cool," Shinning said as he took a sip of his beer. After taking a few gulps, he turns up the volume on the tv for the evening news.

“Reports say There is still no signs of the superhero team, G.O. Force, the world-renowned team was last seen tracking down escaped extraterrestrial criminals after a massive prison break at the infamous “Hades’ Oven” prison. Officials have still yet to release the cause of the breakout. In Local news, eyewitnesses have claimed to see a large bear on the outskirts of town, some have claimed that this bear is responsible for the disappearance of a few campers three months ago, but investigators and park officials have yet to prove these rumors true. Local townsfolk are advised to stay clear of local wildlife and lock your doors at night.” The news anchor said as Mihana watched while thinking of her family and friends.

“So, are you guys part of G.O. Force?” Spike bluntly asks, catching Mihana and Jessie off guard.

“U-Uh…what makes you say that?” Mihana nervously asked.

“You guys have those orb things with you. And G.O. Force has orbs like those.” Spike replied.

“Well, where G.O. Force is from, it’s kinda common for everyone to have an Orb.” Mihana explained.

“You interested in G.O. Force spike?” Jessie asked while looking at Spike’s t-shirt which has the G.O. Force insignia on it.

"Uh, Heck yea! They're all we talk about at school! And don't get me wrong, the new team is ok, but I'm really into the Original eight! Especially the red guy! He's awesome!" Spike excitedly proclaimed.

“Yea…he is…” Mihana softly smiled as Spike was indirectly talking about Mihana’s father.

“Meh…they’re not so great.” Shinning Armor huffed.

"Shiny is just jealous cuz he doesn't have superpowers or a flashy colored suit," Spike said with a teasing smirk.

“They’re just a bunch of masked vigilantes who take the law into their own hands. It's disgraceful." Shinning Armor said with a mean look.

“But Mr. Shining. You don’t really mean that. Think of all the good G.O. Force has done.” Mihana said with a frown.

“Yea…it’s not like the normal police would have done a wonderful job handling those criminals without them," Jessie said after Mihana.

Jessie's comment made Shining Armor look over at Jessie with a mean glare as Jessie returns with a glare of his own. Sensing tension, Mihana thinks quickly.

“Uh, Jessie! W-why don’t you go check on Twilight, see how’s she’s doing?” Mihana suddenly blurred out.

“Fine…” Jessie replied as he got up and walked out the room.

“Your boyfriend has quite the mouth on him.” Shinning Armor says to Mihana.

“He…Just says what he feels…He’s like that sometimes.” Mihana nervously smiles.

----

Meanwhile in the bathroom, Twilight is still in the process of taking her shower. Right next to the shower is a basket of Twilight’s dirt-stained uniform. However, the dirt stain begins to peel off Twilight’s uniform. The dirt falls to the floor as it begins to take shape of a young man, it’s not long before Quicktrap stands in the bathroom.

“Get in, Get the girl, get out. Easy.” Quicktrap says to himself as his right-hand forms into a large claw while walking towards the shower, with Twilight completely unaware of his presence. But just before Quicktrap could go any closer, there is a knock at the door.

“Twilight? Everything ok in there?” Jessie calls from behind the door.

"Yea, I'm fine," Twilight replies as she turns off the water. “I’m almost done.”

“Shit!!!” Quicktrap panicked as he loses his solid form and turns back into the dirt stain on Twilight’s uniform, mere seconds before Twilight steps out.

Twilight grabs and wraps a towel around her hair and naked body before going into her room. Once gone, Quicktrap reforms back into his humanoid form.

“Damn it…not as easy as I thought…hmm…she has a nice body though…” Quicktrap thinks to himself before slapping himself across the face. “Focus Quicktrap! You have a job to do!” he mentally tells himself before disappearing into a pile of sand.

----

A few minutes later, Twilight, wearing a T-Shirt and shorts, and Jessie joins Shinning Armor, Mihana, and Spike in the living room.

“what’s that Twi?” Jessie asks as he sees something glittering in her hand.

"Oh, this? This is my ring, I've had it since I was a baby. Thought you'd guys would like to see it." Twilight said while showing it to Jessie and Mihana.

“Wow Twilight, your orb is pretty.” Mihana said as she marveled at the right. “and what a cute symbol it has” Mihana commented as she sees the pink six-pointed sparkle inside the Orb.

“Hehe, more like a cutie mark.” Jessie giggled as Spike joined him.

“It’s true, Twilight has had that thing since she was born, and it’s stuck with her since. No matter how many times she’s lost it or tried to get rid of it, it always appeared out of nowhere for her.” Shinning Armor says as he got up from his lounger.

“Really?” Mihana said with a sight hint of amazement,

"Yep, so eventually, dad made it into a ring for Twilight," Spike said

“It…it was the last birthday gift he gave me…” Twilight said with watery eyes.

“I’m sorry Twilight.” A sadden Mihana said while holding Twilight’s hand.

“No, it’s ok. He was a great man. And I’ll always love him for it.” Twilight smiled

As Mihana smiled back at twilight, Jessie thought to himself.

“Red said once a person loses their orb, it’s gone for good, and they must get a new one…so what’s the deal with Twilight’s orb?” Jessie wonders to himself.

“Anyway, you two staying for dinner?” Shinning Armor asked while walking towards the kitchen

“Oh no, we just thought we hang out with Twilight for a little bit. In fact, we should be leaving soon.” Mihana smiled.

"Meh, suit yourself." Shining Armor replied.

“Aww, at least stay for a little while longer.” Twilight pleaded with Mihana.

“Yea! Come on! Please!” Spike joined in in the pleading.

"Hyde will be very grumpy if we're late," Jessie said to Mihana.

“Hmm…” Mihana thought for a minute and then looked over to Twilight. “I’m sure Uncle Hyde won’t mind us staying for a little while longer.”

“Yay~!” Twilight and Spike cheered

Unbeknownst to the group, Quicktrap, in his sand form, was hiding under a chair while staring at the group.

"Huh…so those are the outsiders' everyone's been talking about…This may be more difficult than I thought…no matter, they’ll have to leave and I’ll move in…” Quicktrap thought to himself.

-One hour later-

"Wow Jessie, you suck at this game," Spike comments while watching Jessie's video game character die for the millionth time.

“Hey! Shut up! At least I’m trying!” Jessie shouts back at Spike.

“Jessie isn’t the best at video games.” Mihana giggled while helping Twilight with her homework

“Hey, at least he knows the correct way to hold a game controller, unlike someone…” Spike smirked.

“I Held it upside down, one time! ONE TIME! Let it go!” Twilight shouted back, as everyone started laughing.

Meanwhile, Quicktrap has remained in the same spot he’s been hiding in.

“Damnit…don’t these guys have anywhere else to be right now?” Quicktrap grumbles. While no one is looking, Quicktrap moves into the hallway and reforms into his into his humanoid form. “This is taking longer than I thought…and that annoys me.” Quicktrap thought to himself. “I could just talk them all out at once…Sparkle and her brat brother are easy targets, but the other two…I have no clue what their orbits are…and I risk trapping myself…damnit…I told them we should wait a little bit longer…wait a sec…where’s the big brother?” Quicktrap asked himself.

“Don’t. Move.” The voice of Shining armor said as he pointed his police gun at Quicktrap

“Never mind…” Quicktrap grumbles.

“One chance bub, who are you and what are you doing here?” Shinning Armor demanded. However, in a split second, Quicktrap spins around and kicks Shinning Armor hard, throwing him against the wall.

“shit…plan B then…” Quicktrap grunts and disappears in a puff of sand.

Jessie is the first to react to the sound of a crash.

“What was that?” Twilight asked as she and Mihana stand to their feet.

Jessie is the first to leap to his feet and race down the hall with Twilight and Mihana behind him.

"SHINNING!!!" Twilight screams upon seeing Shining Armor on the floor. Jessie runs over to him.

“is he?” a worried Mihana asked.

“He’s ok, just knocked out.” Jessie response.

"Twilight? What's going on?" a worried spike asked while peeking from the living room.

“Spike! Get back in the living room!” Twilight demanded while walking towards Spike. As Mihana looked around, Jessie stands back up,

“Mihana…we’re not alone…” Jessie says with a blank nervous look on his face. Mihana’s eyes widen upon realizing what Jessie meant.

Suddenly, a wall of sand explodes, sending Mihana and Jessie back into the living room.

“Wh-What the?!!” Twilight screams while holding on to Spike

“WHAT’ S HAPPENING!?!” Spike panicked.

Once everyone is in the living room, the sand reformed back into Quicktrap’s human form, upon seeing Quicktrap, Twilight gasps.

“YOU! You’re the guy who ran me over!” Twilight pointed out.

“what are you doing here?!” Mihana demanded.

“Look, I don’t want any trouble with you two, just hand over Sparkle and I’ll be on my way!” Quicktrap explained.

“Wh-what?! What does he want with me?!” Twilight asked herself.

“Your alil late for that pal! What do you want with Twilight?!” Jessie demanded while taking a fighting stance.

“I don’t need to explain myself to some punk with dip-shit hair!” Quicktrap spat.

Upon hearing the words ‘Dip-shit hair’ Jessie’s eyes burst into flames, “BASTARDO!!!” Jessie yells and charges at Quicktrap. Jessie lets loose a right hook towards Quicktrap, only for it to be blocked by a wall of thick sand. But this doesn't stop Jessie, as he lets loose another right hook, then left hook, a few jabs, and an uppercut. But each blow is blocked by a small shield made of sand.

"Heh, you're tough I'll give you that, but my defense is impenetrable," Quicktrap smirked as Jessie continued his assault.

While Quicktrap is busy with Jessie, Mihana pulls out her phone and quickly calls Hyde.

“Do you have any idea what time it is? You better be callin’ to say you’re on your way to the hotel!” Hyde yells over the phone.

“Uncle Hyde! We need help! We’re under attack!!” Mihana cried into her phone.

"Wait, what? Mihana, what's going on?! Mihana?!" Hyde yells

“Oh, no you don’t!” Quicktrap says as he shots sand from his fingertips, knocking Mihana’s phone out of her hand and bruising it.

“Mihana! Are you ok!” Twilight says while checking her hand.

“I-I’m fine…” Mihana grunts.

“No more games! You’re coming with me Sparkle!” Quicktrap yells and tries to rush at Twilight.

“Hey, Kitty Litter!” Jessie yells. Quicktrap turns towards Jessie, only to see a left hook fly straight at him, and slamming into his nose. “Heh, wide open with your chin down, my kinda target!” Jessie smiles.

“GAH!!!” Quicktrap groans as he’s sent flying back into the wall with a bloodied nose. “Grr…You son of a bitch!” Quicktrap growls.

“Mihana! MIHANA!!!” Hyde yells into his phone, trying to get an answer.

“What’s wrong?!” Blaster asks while rushing into the hotel room.

“Damn it, the kids are in trouble, get the Triggers, we’re going now!” Hyde commands.

"RIGHT!" Blaster says as he heads to a large truck under his bed. There, he takes two ring-like devices, one sliver the other white. Blaster takes the white ring while throwing the silver ring to Hyde.

“LET’S GO!” Hyde calls and races out the door.

“RIGHT BEHIND YOU!” Blaster yells while running after Hyde just as storm clouds were forming outside.

Jessie is thrown onto the coffee table, breaking it in the process. Quicktrap stands over him, panting heavily.

“I’ve just about had enough of you!” Quicktrap grunts.

All the while, Mihana, Twilight and Spike hide behind the sofa.

“Twilight, what are we going to do?!” Spike panicked

“I…I don’t know…Mihana…who is this guy?! What does he want with me?!” Twilight asked

"An orbit user…and it's strange, we should have been able to sense him sooner…what's going on?" Mihana softly says. Mihana looks around and sees the door is unguarded. "This way," Mihana whispers while taking Twilight and Spike by the hand and slowly moving towards the doorway.

"Going somewhere?!" Quicktrap yells while not only blocking the doorway but also trapping the three in a pit of sand.

“TWILIGHT! HELP!” Spike screams while trying to get free.

As the girls try to get free, Jessie stands back up and takes out device Hyde has given him earlier. Jessie takes the device and places it on his wrist. But as soon as Jessie is on his feet, Jessie sees that he too is in a sand pit.

"Thought you could escape huh? Well, no one gives Quicktrap the slip!" Quicktrap grunts to Twilight and Mihana. "As for you!" Quicktrap turns to Jessie as sand slowly crawls up his body. "I should have done this in the first place!" Quicktrap spats as sand completely cover Jessie.

“JESSIE!” Mihana screams.

“It’s over for you punk! Sand…COFFIN!” Quicktrap yells as the sand on Jessie forms into solid rock and slowly begins to crush Jessie. “Heh, bye-bye turd!” Quicktrap smirks.

Suddenly, a loud crash is heard as huge cracks appear in the rock sand.

“Wh-What the?!!” A dumbfound Quicktrap yells.

“DORARARARARARARARARARARARA!!!" Jessie yells out as a fury of punches break apart the rock until there is nothing left and Jessie is free. Once Jessie is free, everyone, except for Mihana, is shocked to see Jessie's sudden change in appearance. Jessie now wears a red armored bodysuit, his helmet looks similar to a stag beetle but with a single horn on his forehead. And as shown on his chest plate and shoulder pads, is the image of a bullet with a sinister smile.

Spike’s jaw drops and eye widen as he soon makes a sudden realization. “Twilight! That’s him! From G.O. Force! That’s him! CRAZY BULLET!” Spike shouts.

“I…No way!” a speechless twilight gasps.

“Aw SHIT! NOBODY SAID ANYTHING ABOUT G.O. FORCE!!!" a terrified Quicktrap screams.

Once freed, Jessie pops his neck and cracks his knuckles. “Now…” he says while looking towards Quicktrap. “What did you say about my hair?!” Jessie yells as the eyes on his helmet glow bright red, spikes form on Jessie’s knuckles and the horn splits into two.

“Now Jessie…don’t overdo it.” Mihana calmly says to her boyfriend.

In the blink of an eye, Jessie leaps towards Quicktrap, ready to strike him.

"CRAP!" Quicktrap tries to block with his sand wall, only for Jessie's fists to break through them. "SHIIIIIIT!!!!" Quicktrap cries out.

“DORARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARA!!!!” Jessie cries out as another barrage of fists and punches pummel Quicktrap, with the last one sending Quicktrap flying through the wall and into the hallway. Quicktrap tries to get back on his feet as fast as he can.

"Damn it! Damn it! This is bad! This is Bad!" a panicked Quicktrap cried out. Once Quicktrap is on his feet, he glares at Jessie, who is standing over him. “I-I-I’ll show you…I’ll show you not to mess with ME!!!” Quicktrap yells as he leaps towards Jessie as his right arm forms into a giant sand fist, only to be stopped but a sudden left hook. “GAH!!” Quicktrap grunts as he’s sent flying down the hall.

Jessie looks over to the side and sees Hyde and Blaster at the doorway.

“You guys are in so much trouble!” Hyde yells. As Mihana, Twilight and Spike watch from the newly made hole in the wall.

“Hyde! Blaster! About time you guys!” Jessie said to them.

“Wait…Blaster? As in…” Spike thought to himself.

Before Hyde could say anything, Blaster sees Quicktrap getting back up.

“Looks like sandy isn’t done yet.” Blaster comments.

"Let's do it then," Hyde said while taking out his Orb and the sliver ring-like device, as Blaster does the same.

Hyde and Blaster place their Orbs in a small slot of the devices,


“TRIGGER ON!”


a computer proclaims on both Hyde’s and Blaster’s devices. once inside, the Orbs move to the center of the ring and lights up, as a secondary belt-like device appears on their waists.

"Ready?!" Hyde asks while holding up his silver ring.

“Ready!” Blaster replies while also holding up his white ring.


“ORB SPARK!”

Both Hyde and Blaster say while swiping their Ring devices over their belts. The rings soon begin flashing Hyde’s and Blaster respective colors as they then hold them up to their chests. Suddenly a beam of light surrounds Hyde and Blaster.


“ORB SPARK! THUNDERING MIGHT!!!”



“ORB SPARK! SHOOT SHOOT BLAST!!!”


The rings announce as Hyde and Blaster soon appear in their armored Bodysuits. Hyde's wears silver armor that is designed to look like Norse god of thunder Thor, complete with a large Warhammer. While Blaster wears white armor with dark gray outlines throughout his body, His element is shown to have a bycoket cap, making his appearance like Robin Hood.

Twilight and Spike stand speechless with their jaws dropped upon seeing Hyde and Blaster’s transformation.

“OH. My. GOD!!! IT’S THUNDER FIST AND ‘THE’ BLASTER!!! TWILIGHT, IT’S REALLY G.O. FORCE!!!” Spike cried out while geeking out a little. As Twilight remained speechless.

“Hey! Where’s my Trigger?!” Mihana cried out.

"Sorry, but we were in a hurry," Blaster responded.

“that’ll teach you to always have it with you.” Hyde scolded.

“But you gave Jessie his!” Mihana whined.

“You really want Jessie to have his Guardian Trigger with him ‘ALL’ the time?!” Hyde asked Mihana.

Mihana opens her mouth to answer but quickly pauses. "Yea…good point…" he sighs.

“Uh, I’m right here ya know…” an offended Jessie commented.

"Shut your trap, it's GO time," Hyde said as he, Blaster and Jessie took a battle stance just as Quicktrap recovers.

“Teme…” Quicktrap grunts he fires a spread of sand bullets at the trio.

“DORARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARARA!!!!” Jessie yells as he deflects the sand bullets with a fury of punches as Hyde swats a few away with his hammer.

"Keep him, busy guys, I'll hit him with the old ‘one hit wonder'" Blaster says as he flips a switch on his bow, changing it into a crossbow.


“GEAR CHANGE!!!”


A computer voice announces. Blaster takes the ring trigger and swipes it over his belt


“ORB CHARGE!!!”


The Trigger proclaims as the crossbow begins to glow a bright white light. With it, Blaster fires off a large rapid fire of emeralds shards. The Shards pummel Quicktrap, once again sending him through the wall and into outside just as a rainstorm was in the process.

Once outside, Quicktrap reverts to his original flesh and blood form.

“Damn it all! How did all this go south so quickly?!!” Quicktrap grumbles while trying to crawl away.

“Going somewhere punk?” Hyde yells out as he, Blaster and Jessie walk over to him.

“Didn’t really think this plan out really good, did ya pigpen?” Blaster asks

Hyde grabs Quicktrap by his collar and held him up, almost lifting him up off the ground. “Who are you?” Hyde demanded.

"Ta-Take it, easy man! I-It's just a job!" Quicktrap pleaded.

"Then why don't you tell us who hired you, and why you guys want Twilight," Jessie asked.

“where did you get your orbit?! Was it that Orbit gun? Like the others?!” Hyde yelled

Quicktrap panicked as he thought of what to do next. With the rain soaking his body, he was unable to turn into sand and attack or even escape, thus leaving him at the mercy of the trio before him. All the while, Mihana, Twilight and Spike watched from inside the house, with Spike taking pictures with his phone.

“This is so cool! Right Twilight?” Spike happily exclaimed.

“uh…y-yea…” Twilight said with a nervous smiled while looking at Mihana, who simply shrugged

“Quit Stalling! And Talk already!” Hyde yelled while shaking Quicktrap.

Quicktrap was freaking out as he tried to think of a way out of his current predicament. “Crap, Crap! How do I get out of this?!” He thought to himself.

Suddenly the rain soon stopped, and the sun shined through the clouds. As the sun shined down, Quicktrap felt his body dry up from the rain. With this opening, Quicktrap smirked and quickly turned into a small dust devil and made his escape.

“Damn it…” Hyde grunted.

“Who was that guy?” Blaster asked Jessie

“Called himself Quicktrap, he said he was after Twilight for some reason.”

“He was after Twilight you say? Huh…” Hyde said as he thought.

Mihana sighed a breath of relief, “It’s over.”

“Wow…” Spike gasped. “That…Was…AWESOME!!!” he cheered.

“Oy…” Twilight rolled her eyes at Spike’s reaction. Suddenly, Twilight’s phone starts to go off, “Hello?” She answers “Oh, uh Hey M-mom What’s…You’re on your way home?...be in a few minutes?!!...N-no I don’t sound surprised…just…excited that’s all” Twilight nervously smiled. “Ok…ok…cya when you get here…love you too…bye.” Twilight hung up her phone and looked around the house. “GAH! MY MOM’S COMING AND WHEN SHE SEES THIS!!!...I’m so dead.” Twilight panicked.

"Quit your whining, we got this," Hyde said while picking up the still unconscious Shinning Armor with Blaster’s help. “Twi, you and Spike go take look out for your mom. We’ll handle everything here.”

“But…But…” Twilight shuddered.

“Twilight, it’s ok. Trust us.” Mihana said while smiling and placing a hand on Twilight’s shoulder.

Twilight, still unsure, sighed and nodded. “Come on spike.” She said as she walked out the door, with the confused spike following her.

Once Twilight and Spike leave, Hyde turns to Jessie. “Jessie…you know what to do.”

Jessie nods as his fist begins to glow a bright crimson color.

Twilight and Spike wait down by the corner of their house for their mother, while also trying to figure out how to tell Velvet what had happened.

“Twilight! Look!” Spike called while tapping Twilight’s arm

Twilight look ahead and saw her mother walking towards them, Both Twilight and Spike swallowed hard and ran towards Velvet.

"Hey, you two, crazy storm we had, huh?" Velvet smiled.

“Uh, y-yea…you could…say that.” Twilight nervously responses.

“Yea, ‘Crazy’” Spike nervously smiled as well.

Velvet notices the worried and nervous looks on Twilight’s and Spikes face and raises an eyebrow.

“what’s up with you two? You act like you just burn down the house.” She says

Twilight’s and Spike’s eyes widen from Velvet’s comment.

"O-of course not mom! I mean, we'd never do anything to the house." Twilight nervously laughs

“Yea… ‘we’ won’t.” Spike quietly mumbles. Twilight than elbows Spike in the stomach. “OH!” he yells.

“Well, let’s get going.” Velvet smirked and began walking towards the house.

“UH! WAIT!” Spike yells “uh…wh-why rush? Why don’t we just, uh…take a stroll around the neighborhood…like we…use too?” Spike smiled.

“Yea! Let’s do that.” Twilight smiled.

“No thanks. I’ve been on my feet all day, I need some rest.” Velvet smiled and continued walking.

Twilight and Spike quickly try to think of something to stop Velvet.

“Aw, come on mom. Nothing says relaxing like fresh air.” Twilight said to her.

“Maybe later, your brother probably has dinner ready.” Velvet replied.

“Oh, come on, it's Shining Armor's cooking we're talking about. Why don't we just go eat out?" Spike commented.

“Spike-kun! That’s rude to say about your brother! now enough foolishness and let’s go home.” Velvet demanded and walked off, turning the corner leading to their house.

Defeated, and with an overwhelming feeling of dread over them, Twilight and Spike slowly followed their mother.

“Mom…I just want to let you know…We’re both sorry about the house.” Twilight said

“Why? I don’t see anything wrong with the house.” Velvet replied.

"Huh?" both Twilight and Spike say as they look at the house. "HUH?!!!" they both yell as they see the house has been completely repaired as if they were no damage to it at all.

“Yep, looks about the same as I felt it.” Velvet said as she walked up to the front door and walked in.

Twilight and Spike followed close behind their mother inside and were even more dumbfounded. Inside they saw that the walls were fine. Not a single hint of a fight was seen.

“But…How?” a dumbfounded Twilight asked herself.

“wow Jes, Spike was right…you do suck.” Shinning Armor said while in the other room.

“SHUT UP!” Jessie yelled out of frustration.

Upon hearing Shinning Armor's voice, Twilight, and Spike rush into the living room to see a wide-awake Shinning Armor, sitting in his lounger, while Jessie is playing the video game from earlier. Twilight and Spike especially take notices that Jessie is back to wearing his normal clothes. Across from them, was Mihana setting the table for dinner.

"Hey, mom!" Shinning Armor called out

"Oh, Good evening Mrs. Twilight and welcome home," Mihana said while bowing to Velvet.

“Why, Hello their Mihana-Chan and you too Jessie-kun.” Velvet smiled.

“Hey Mrs. T” Jessie smiled while putting the game on pause.

A still dumbfounded Twilight and Spike looked around with confusion.

“What’s up with you two?” Shinning Armor asked.

"Uh…Shiny…are…are you ok?" Twilight asked meekly.

“Yea, why?” Shinning Armor asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Well,…it's just…you were…uh…" Spike began to say but quickly stopped when both he and Twilight saw Mihana and Jessie making a grim face while holding a finger up to their closed lips. "Uh…Never mind." Spike smiled.

“Uh huh…” Shinning Armor replied.

“What are you doing?!” Blaster calls from the kitchen. “That’s too much salt! That’s not the recipe”

“Shut up! I know what I’m doing!” Hyde yelled back.

“I’m Telling ya, you’re going to ruin it.” Blaster whined.

"Will you calm your tits! It's just stew." Hyde replied while bringing out a large bowl of beef stew to the table.

"Stew you're going to ruin…" Blaster mumble while bringing out bread rolls.

“what was that?” Hyde asked with a sharp look on his face.

“Nothing~” Blaster replied a coy look on his face.

"Ahem…" Mihana called out to Hyde and Blaster, who was unaware that Velvet was watching them.

“Oh! Mrs. Twilight! We didn’t see you there. How was your day?” Blaster smiled.

“I’m Fine, I have to say, I wasn’t expecting to see you two here.” Velvet said.

“Well, we picked up Twi from School, did the shopping and then came here. We noticed Shining Armor was tried so we decided to help with cooking."  Hyde said as he pulled out a chair for Velvet.

"Oh, How thoughtful." Velvet said while taking a seat at the table.

“It’s the least we can do for dropping in on you so suddenly.” Mihana happily smiled.

Velvet smiled as she began to eat her stew, "Hey this isn't too bad." She smiled and ate more while Shining Armor soon joined her.

"Thank you, Old family recipe," Hyde said while giving Blaster a smug look. Blaster rolls his eyes in response.

While everyone was around the table, Twilight and Spike stood still, completely confused by the fact that everyone was acting normal, as if Quicktrap’s attack didn’t happen.

“Well, it’s getting pretty late, we all should be heading back to the Hotel.” Blaster said.

“yep, Mihana, Jessie. Let’s Roll.” Hyde said as he headed towards the door.

“See you later Mrs. Twilight.” Mihana waved.

“Cya” Jessie said as he followed Mihana.

“Twilight, Spike, why don’t you walk our guest out?” Velvet said to the still awestruck siblings.

“H-Huh?...uh…su-sure…” Twilight shuddered while walking to the door.

“But…But…But…” the still dumbfounded Spike said until Twilight grabs him by the arm and drags him out of the room.

Once outside, Hyde turns to Jessie and Mihana.

"That was way too close," Hyde said to Jessie.

“Sorry boss. I would have gotten him sooner if I had only sensed him in time.” Jessie responded.

“Wait, he was in the house and you still didn’t sense him?” Hyde asked

Jessie and Mihana nodded to Hyde.

"Just like Fluttershy." Blaster said. "Who knows how many orb enhanced are in this town."

"and if we can't sense them than there must be something big going on here," Hyde said while thinking.

"We need to be extra careful," Mihana says, but before she can say anything more, Twilight rushes in.

“HOLD EVERYTHING!” Twilight yells while catching everyone off guard.

"WHAT WAS ALL THAT?! THE HOUSE?! SHINY?! WHAT?!!!" Twilight screamed until Mihana covers her mouth.

“TWILIGHT! It’s ok, Look. I chanced Shinning Armor’s memories, so he won’t remember that fight.” Mihana explained.

"Wait…you…" Twilight says as she grew to the size of melons.

“It’s part of my Orbit. I can alter the thoughts and memories of others around me…” Mihana said as she looked down. “I’m sorry, I…I didn’t mean to do it without permission…I just didn’t want you to get into any trouble.”

“No, No. It’s ok. I understand. Really.” Twilight smiled. Mihana returned with a weak smile of her face.

“Ok, so I get how you brainwashed Shinning, but how did you fix the house?” Spike asked.

“Oh, that was me.” Jessie flatly said.

“YOU?!” both Twilight and Spike asked in shock.

“Yea, why?” Jessie asked while scratching his nose.

“But…But…the house was a wreck…how-how…did you…” a stunned Twilight asked before being stopped by Hyde.

“Sorry, but you’re going to have to hold your questions until tomorrow. We gotta get going."

“Oh, and one more thing.” Blaster said before walking over to Spike and taking his phone.

“HEY!” Spike yelled while trying to get his phone back. “Give it!”

“Don’t act innocent, I know you were taking pictures.” Blaster said as he went through Spike’s phone and deleting all the picture of the Hyde, Blaster, and Jessie in their armored bodysuits.

“But how am I going to tell my friends that G.O. Force was at my house?” Spike whined.

“yea, that’s the thing…” Hyde said while walking towards Spike. “G.O. Force wasn’t at your house. There was no fight at your house. There were no Orbit users at your house. You. Saw. Nothing…Got it?”

“But. But. But.” Spike whined before both Hyde and Blaster gave him a grim stare down. “O-ok…” Spike said while looking down in defeat.

Twilight pats Spike on the head. “It’s probably for the best Spike.”

“Yea…I guess…” Spike mumbled.

After saying their goodbyes. Hyde, Blaster, Mihana, and Jessie left to return to the hotel, all the while Hyde scolded Jessie and Mihana for being late.

Elsewhere, Quicktrap reformed his body and leaned against a wall, completely out of breath.

“Damn it…DAMN IT!” Quicktrap yelled while pounding the wall with his fist.

“What happened?!” a voice shouted. Quicktrap looked over to his side to see it was the same person he was talking to earlier in the day. “Where’s Sparkle?” the person asked.

“There was…an issue…” Quicktrap replied.

“What Issue?” another voice called out.

Quicktrap looked around to see he was surrounded by a group of people.

“Those…visitors…They were members of G.O. Force…” Quicktrap said while talking a sit on the ground.

“WHAT?! G.O. FORCE IS HERE?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!!” one of the members of the group yelled.

"That's to be expected…with all the activity we've been doing, they were bound to show up eventually." Another member flatly says.

“I don’t think so…” Quicktrap commented.

“what do you mean?”

“I don’t know…it’s like they didn’t know I had an Orbit until I revealed myself…I mean, even when I tagged Sparkle, they still didn’t notice my Orbit.” Quicktrap explained. “I thought Orbit users were supposed to sense other Orbit users.”

“They are…” an older voice said.

The group spread apart as an older gentleman walked up the Quicktrap.

“But the fact that they couldn’t sense you might give us an advantage.”

“I would have taken them if YOU had given me a trigger!” Quicktrap spat at the gentleman.

“and I told you to be patient! With your powers, it’s becoming difficult to make stable armor for you.” The gentlemen replied.

“Of course! That makes so much sense.” One of the members said in a happy tone, but suddenly in a low growl, “Only cuz you give us crappy bootlegs…”

“SILENCE!” the gentleman yelled, forcing everyone, including Quicktrap, to stand at attention. “Don’t forget, who gave you all your Orbits.” He says to them while showing the group a Colt 1851 Navy Revolver. “Don’t forget your places. ALL of you.”

“Yes Professor.” The whole group said in unison.

The gentlemen sighed. “Still, even if G.O. Force can’t sense us, they’re still a threat. All of you. Stay focused and don’t bring attention to yourselves.” He commanded.

"Yes Professor." The group said again, before leaving, all except for one.

“Sir…I…I was thinking…with G.O. Force here…maybe…maybe we don’t have to go with the plan…maybe…we could- “

“Dear Child,” The gentleman while holding up the young person’s chin with his fingers. “Don’t forget, it was I who saved you and your sibling from the slums. What would G.O. Force want from a person like you? Now, do as your told and stick with the group.” The Gentleman said before leaving.

“so, what now?” a voice called out as Rainbow Dash stepped out of the shadows.

“I for one…am tired of his bullshit…” the young person said while stepping out of the shadows, revealing to be a young woman with vivid orange hair with light brilliant amber stripes. She grips her Orb with an image of a yellow lightning Bolt in it. She walks away with Rainbow Dash walking behind her. “Come on Dash, I’m tired of waiting. G.O. Force will help us…either they want to or not…”
