Twilight wakes up In a dark room with nothing but a Lantern, a Box and a Door, Where is she?
Twilight wakes up in a dark, Stone room. Nothing is in there besides a Lantern, a box and a door. She steps out of the room and sees a long dark hallway, as she keeps going she realizes she's in Some sort of Maze. Where exactly is she? How did she end up here? And most importanly, Is sompony watching her?
Twilight layed on a stone cold floor. Her head was starting ache as she slowly gained consciousness. Her entire Body was in pain, especially her back. Her eyes slowly open to meet Darkness. She couldn't see anything. She tried to stand up, but her body was too weak at the moment. She thought for a moment about what to do. She decided to create some light with her magic, to see if there was anything in this room that might be useful.
It took almost all of the little Strength Twilight had regained to cast the Light spell, but when she did, it wasn't enough to light up the whole room, but enough for her to see a lantern a little away from her, just sitting there. She used her magic to bring the lantern to her, and she lit it up.
Twilight could see things a lot more clearer. She looked around and then looked at her body, she was horrified by the sight. A Bandage was wrapped around her waist, and there was blood spots on it. The spots where her wings should be. Her wings were gone! Somepony or something must have taken away her wings and put her in this room, But for what reason?
The Alicorn, Now Just a unicorn, tried to stand up again. She was almost there, but ending up on the floor again, this time in a sitting position. She sighed. 'Haven't gotten enough strength to stand up yet' She thought. She looked over at the lantern she began to question alot of things. 'Where am i? Why am i here? How did i get here? Who or what took my Wings? And why? What is going on?' Her head was just filled with question that she began to space out.
Alot of possible answers started to fill her head even more. She was so focused on her questions, she didn't even notice she was standing and started pacing, until she stopped and saw that she was standing, feeling a little better. She took some careful steps to make sure she could go on without falling to the ground. After walking a few circles, she was pretty sure she has gotten her strength back. She grabbed the lantern with her magic and started walking around the room to see if there was an exit.
She eventually found one and was going to open the door, but then notices something on the ground, it was a box. It was made out of dark wood, and it had a golden keyhole at the front. Thinking it might be useful, Twilight picked up the box with her magic. She then went to open the door, when she did it let out a loud squeak. Before her was a long dark Hallway. The unicorn was happy she found the lantern. She slowly started to walk down the hallway.
Twilight had no idea how long she's been going. The Hallway seems to go on forever. Though, She had a suspicion that she wasn't in a Hallway. Her theory became confirmed when she saw a room, With 4 other hallways. That's when she knew. "I'm in a Maze" She said. Her throat felt so sore after she spoke, and her voice was slightly raspy. She wondered why.
The unicorn just stood there, wondering which way to go. After a few minutes she decided to go in the second hallway and prayed that she chose correct. She kept on walking, her hooves starting to ache. How long was she going to keep walking? Her head was filled with so many questions, it felt like her head was about to burst. She tried her best to remember what had happen before she ended up here, the last thing she could remember, was that she was with her friends in the Castle library and that's it.
She kept on walking and walking, until finally, she stumbled upon something. It was a small random stand, with a torch on it, and in the wall there was build a small room big enough for the unicorn to crawl in. The strangest part was that there was a pillow and a blanket there. Twilight became so confused, but she was so exhausted, she didn't bother question it. She turned off the Lantern and layed it, Plus the box down next to stand. She lifted up the pillow and blanket with her magic, and crawled into the small room in a comfortable laying position. She then put the pillow under her head and the blanket on top of her, and she was fast asleep.
In the darkness of the corridor where Twilight had stepped into. A Dark, shadowy creature was slowly walking, with slow heavy steps. It groaned when it noticed the light of a torch. It reached the source, and saw a purple unicorn Laying in a tiny room, probably asleep. It's instincts told it to grab her. it reached out to the unicorn, but it felt something burn it. Then it noticed. There was a magical barrier Protecting the pony while she was asleep.
The creature was so annoyed until a deep voice was heard throughout the corridor. A voice it was familliar with. "Now, now, You won't be attacking our 'guest' while she's sleeping. She will need her energy for the next 'Task'. Now move on" The voice told the creature.
The creature stood there in front of the unicorn for a moment, but then continued down the corridor. After a while, another shadow towered over Twilight. The shadow chuckled. "Oh, Little Twilight, That room you woke up in was just a start. Just wait for the other Tasks i have in store for you" It said, then left, letting the unicorn have her peace and quiet.
After all, she will need her all her energy, for all the tasks that will be layed before her. And it won't be as simple as just walking around a dark room with a lantern.
Twilight startled awake as a loud thud echoed through the corridor. The unicorn slowly poked her head out, carefully, looking both right and left. Nothing. She rubbed her eyes with one hoof and sighed. She crawled back into the small room and tried to go back to sleep. She closed her eyes waiting for Dreamland to claim her. After hearing that Thud, paranoia started to flow through her body and gets her guard up, but because of that she couldn't fall asleep. For the thought of something out there just waiting for her to fall asleep so it could take her was big enough to give her energy.
She tried her best to calm down, convincing herself that there is nothing in the maze other then herself so that she could relax. However that didn't work for long as another sound was heard throughout the corriodor, This time it was not a thud, It sounded like low growling of some kind of creature. Twilight's eyes snapped open as she reacted. She quickly crawled out of the tiny room and her magic, on instinct picked up the box and the latern. The unicorn quickly turned it on and looked around. Nothing. Twilight tensed as she heard another growl, this time louder. She quickly started to run down the corridor, not looking back.
Twilight had started to slow down, her hooves aching from all the running. She panted heavily, thinking she might be safe now. She stopped for a moment to catch her breath. She felt her head was pounding slightly, Her heart racing and her mind fuzzy. She had no idea how long she's been running. As she calmed down she realized. She hadn't been paying attention to how long she was running....and where she was running. She had been running in different swings and without a second thought.
She was now more lost then before. Twilight sat down, facehoofing. "Why didn't i pay attention?!" She asked herself. Twilight just sat there, Mentally yelling at herself. After a moment she shook her head and stood up. "There's no time for blaming myself, i need to keep going" She said. Her magic lit up and picked, what she didn't realize she put down, the lantern and the box, then started down the corridor infront of her.
Twilight kept going, her hoofsteps echoing through the corridor. She looked everywhere around her, trying to find any tiny clues that can help her. Nothing. She just kept going, she didn't give up. Then she noticed at the end of the corridor was a door. She began to sprint down the corridor, parying that the door was the exit. She reached the door and used her magic to open it. Sadly, it wasn't the exit. She levitated the lantern inside and noticed it was huge room, She was relefied to notice that it was different from the room she woke up in, meaning she hasn't going in a circle.
She stepped into the room and suddenly light turned on. There were Fire lanterns in the room, lighting it up. Since she does have light now, she turned off the Lantern, but kept it closed. Then she was supried to noticed that a message was written on the wall. It said:
Light shows you where you're going Light Shows you what you see But Light also can help the monsters Track down Thee
Twilight was confused by the message. Was it implying that some monsters exist in the Maze? The unicorn just shook her head. She didn't belive that theory. Then she looked to her right to find another Message on the wall wich said:
If Darkness starts to reach Darkness the light can't shine through Quickly Go hide Before they find you
Twilight began to be concerned. Was it saying something is after her? Then she noticed that the door she entered from started to be devoured in Darkness, even though the room is completley Lit up. Twilight realized now the meassages were Warnings, Instructions, To probably survive in this Maze. She quickly started to look around for a hiding Place. She then noticed a wooden table in the corner of the room. When she heard the door started to creak, she dashed down under the table and tired to stay calm.
Then she saw it. A dark creature stepping into the room, nearly extinguishing all light in the proscess. The creature was also growling. Fear struck the unicorn, remembering that sounded like the same growl from before. Has this creature always been here? And is it really after her? It did look like it was looking for something. Or somepony. It took a while, but the creature finally left the room, Stepping out of the door on the other side of the room, close to the table Twilight was hiding under.
The unicorn knew that creature had disapeared when all the light returned to the room. She slowly crawled out of her hiding spot and sat up. 'Ok, So i'm not alone in this maze' She thought. 'That means i have to be extra careful. Getting out of here won't be easy. Atleast the messages gave me a hint to how i can get away from the Dark creature' She started to create a sort of Mental list on things she has learned about her situation until now.
Something or Somepony braught me here. I've lost my wings. I'm in a maze. I have a Lantern and A strange box And there is a dark creature after me.
Twilight looked around the room again and noticed there was something on the table she was hiding under. It was a tiny bottle. The unicorn picekd it up with her magic and looked closer. "Oh, It's Oil, for my lantern" She said, quietly to herself. She braught up her lantern and started filling it up with the oil. "That's good, i think it was starting to run out. Hmm, It looked like it was placed here, as if somepony wanted me to find it. Something does not make sense here. Although, i guess i can add this to my Maze to-do list" Twilight said, starting to go over her Mental "Maze To-Do" List.

When Twilight was finnished filling the lantern, she placed the bottle on the table and began to head out of the room. She carefully open the door and took a peek. Nothing. She then stepped out of the room and turned on her lantern, then started to head down the corridor infront of her.
