But what made them smile was seeing that the grass began to grow as flowers sprouted from the ground and bloomed in vibrant colors watching this the other ponies of the village stood in wonder the bushes grew lush as the fields that once were barren now had trees of fruit and other forms of food.
A cheer rang out throughout the town as ponies began dancing in the streets. Another mare walked up to the mother and filly still in awe at what had happened.
"Ivy, are you seeing this?" the mare asked.
Ivy looked from the mare to her daughter as she had a smile on her face but still had tears in her eyes but these were tears of joy. "Yes I am, and if my Buttercup's dream was right we have the Alicorn Princess of Life to thank for all of this and that means Ground Pounder will be home today," Ivy said as she scooped up her daughter and kissed her cheek. Placing her back down Ivy began to talk with other ponies as they came over to speak with her. As this was happening Buttercup turn to look at where the light landed and saw standing there was Eve but Buttercup could almost see through her, smiling the filly waved at Eve making her smile and wave back before disappearing from sight.
I left the castle with three Guards making my way to the Solaris and Artemus School for Gifted Ponies and other Creatures so I could enroll myself in classes. Yes, you read it right Gifted Ponies and other Creatures, see a while back Dusk Shine adopted two orphan fillies sisters and one was a pegasus who could do magic I think their names are Midday and Midnight. ( Midnight's wish by catcatpuss66) Anyways I still don't see why I need chaperones I'm a big girl, in fact, I happen to stand as tall as Artemus and I did decide to wear my hooded cloak to cover up my wings and horn. But being the only other creature in Canterlot other than a few Diamond Dogs and Minotaurs that walk on two legs I tend to stand out no matter what I wear. Although having three Royal guards surrounding me didn't help much either especially when ponies would stop and bow to me calling me Princess Eve. I knew word would get out that I was an Alicornhuman and being pregnant and engaged to both of the Princes but this was getting ridiculous. The only ones that were kneeling and being in my opinion suck-ups were the nobles the average ponies around would just bow the heads and greet me with Princess or your Highness nothing more.
It took a little longer than I thought it would because of all that and all I had to do was walk one block just one and instead of five minutes it took almost twenty and worst of all my feet started to hurt and I really had to pee. Luckily we got there before anything happened and the first thing I did was hit the little fillies room. After that, I made my way to the headmaster's office to speak with Moondancer but before that, I had to get rid of my shadows so I just told them that I will only have one of them come with me and they had to decide which one it was. So after a quick game of rock paper scissors, the winner was Flare Warden (R63 Flash Sentry). To be honest I was glad it was her it's not that I didn't like the others but seeing as she was Dusk's marefriend and all I had spent more time with her back in Ponyville and she also happened to be Midday and Midnight's mom. She knew what it was like to help raise both a Pegasus and Unicorn filly.
Leaving the others to explore the school for as they put it blindspots, Flare and I reached Moondancer's office. Knocking on the door we waited for a few minutes before deciding to knock again only to have the doors blow open and have Moondancer standing there staring at us.
Without a warning, she jumped up placing her front hooves on my shoulders so she could look me in the eye. "Is it true what I've been hearing are you really an Alicorn?" She said looking at me before dropping back on all fours. It doesn't matter right now let's go and get you entrance exam over with then we can talk," She said turning as she began walking down the hall.
"Wait, what exam I was just coming to enroll for some classes on controlling my magic," I said watching her as she moved down the hall away from me.
"Well school policy states all ponies have to take some form of an exam to go here no exception you Highness," She said stopping for just a second before continuing to walk.
"Could I at least have a chair or stool to sit on my feet are killing me right now," I said in a whinny voice only to feel myself be lifted in Moondancer's magic.
"I am sorry your Highness but we have to hurry the board members are only going to be here for a little longer and then they'll be gone for three weeks if you don't do it today you'll have to wait," She said trotting faster.
I couldn't do much but sit there as I was forcibly carried to my destination, I did look over to see Flare was still by my side although she was giving Moondancer an angry glare. I was about to say something when we stopped and I was placed back down on my feet in front of a door.
Ok when you name is called step through the door and your exam will begin," She said as she started to walk to another door only to stop and turn back to look at me. "Um, Princess not to be rude but do you have a Cutie Mark?" She said tilting her head.
I smiled and lifted the hem of my dress up to show her my right thigh the look on her face was priceless I don't think she ever saw a mark like that before. Dropping it back down I fixed the wrinkles and looked over at her. "It called the Tree of Life it represents all the elements of creation," I said getting her to look back at me.
"So do you know what it means or what your special talent is?" She asked stepping back.
I just shook my head no, to be honest, I was afraid to tell her about what happened earlier this morning the thing with bright Shine and more importantly the village. See how I was started to look scared Moondancer moved over to me placing her hoof on my thigh.
"Hey it's ok, not everypony knows what their Cutie Mark means right away but given that your's called the Tree of Life that might narrow down what kind of test you need to take so just relax and like I said when you name is called go right in and don't be nervous you do fine," She said as she turned back around and entered the other door.
I stood there and took a deep breath trying to calm down only it wasn't working. I was about to just call it quits when Flare showed up out of nowhere with a chair for me to sit on.
"Princess, I think you'll be more comfortable with this," She said placing it down so I could get off my still aching feet.
Thanks Flare but I still feel like I'm not good enough for all this I said jesting to my stomach. "What if I screw up raising them and they turn evil or they hate me because I'm not a pony or," I said before Flare slammed her hoof down making me stop talking.
"Evelyn Lauren Faust, Stop this right now you will be a wonderful mother and your foals will love you no matter what," Flare said as she flared her wings out at me.
I just looked at her before I pulled her into a hug. "Thanks Flare I needed that but you might have to remind me again sometime," I said as we both started to laugh.
After that little episode, we both sat and waited for my name to be called. During this Flare told me about how the girls were doing back in Ponyville man I miss my friends one of these days I have to go back and see them and what it's like being a mom of two fillies. Time seemed to pass by then the door by us opened and my name was called. Taking a deep breath I got up and entered the room Flare following right behind me. Once inside I looked around until my eyes fell upon six figures sitting behind a table at the far end of the room. I recognized four of them right away Moondancer of course then there was Night Lite, Lyra Heartstring, and then there was Dusk Shine the other two I did know but figured they were teachers here.
Clearing his throat Dusk got my attention. "Now, Eve, we know that the use magic is new to you so we decided to just have you do a simple spell to see if you're ready to learn or we wait until your magic reserves grow," He said making me smile because he just used my name and not that stupid title.
"Yes, as my son has said we just want you to try and lift this," He said levitating what looked like an acorn over to a table that was behind me.
"Whenever you're ready," Lyra said smiling at me or my hands. Even after all this time that mare still has a thing for my hands.
I nodded and turned around walking over to the table looking down at the nut or seed no it's a nut an acorn I took a deep breath and concentrated. Picturing in my mind an invisible hand reaching out and picking up the nut. As I did this I could hear the voices of everyone in the room well not everyone just the two ponies I didn't know as they complained about this being a waste of time. Hearing this only made me get upset and I started to cry because I didn't want to fail in front of my friends.
Flare Warden POV
I stood in the corner of the room and watched silently as Eve was given the task of levitating a nut off the table. As she was trying I could hear the voices of the two at the end of the table complaining. I was about to say something when I heard crying I looked back over to see Eve leaning over the table covering her face as she cried. I turned to walk over to her when a blast of magic washed over the entire room it originated from Eve. I move Quickly to get to her so I could protect her as did Dusk Shine but as we got close another burst pushed us back. I stood there feeling helpless not being able to help my friend when I heard a gasp from Dusk Looking at what he was pointing at I also stood speechless. There on the table, the acorn began to glow then it started to crack open as a small green shoot emerged but what made me worry was it didn't stop there. That small shoot kept growing and growing fist ti was a small sapling about a foot tall but that was short lived as it grew faster and faster until a good size tree was there making the table crash to the floor from the weight. But it wasn't over the tree kept getting bigger until it hit the ceiling and with a loud crash the tree pushed through into the open sky above. I just stood there in shock until I heard a thud looking down I saw Eve on the floor unconscious. Rushing over to her I called for Dusk to help me get her out of there. Activating his magic we were teleported back to the castle. At that moment I wonder what the buck I was going to tell the Prince's.
Throne Room Duck Shine POV
I burst through the doors to see my former teacher and his brother sitting on their respected thrones. "Forgive my intrusion your Majesties but I must speak with you about Eve," I said trying act calm but after seeing what happened just a few minute s ago I was failing miserably.
In a heartbeat, both of them were on top of me asking question after question all dealing with Eve's health and that of the foals. Getting overwhelmed I used a little magic to push them both back.
Now before you start again she is fine the foals are fine and she back here in the castle in my room with Flare watching over her," I said making them both take a deep breath. "But that's not what I want to talk to you both about you see at her entrance exam Eve had a magical surge much like I did when I was a colt," I said to them making them look even more concerned.
Taking a deep breath I sat there and explained what had happened, from her, given the task of simply trying to levitate an acorn to her breakdown and crying. Then I told them of the magical burst and how much power was behind it and what happened to the acorn and its growth into a very big oak tree. I waited until they got all of that then I sprung the surprise on them.
" Now I know hearing this is very exciting especially when it is Eve we're talking about but you must understand one very important detail," I said stressing on the last part. " That acorn was a roasted one my father had in his lunch there is no way possible for it to be able to grow like it did, it was dead,"
"What do you mean Dusk are you saying that Eve..," Solaris began to say before I interrupted him.
"Yes, she brought life to the lifeless or rebirth if you will I think that's what her Cutie Mark means Birth and Rebirth life itself. How else do explain a tree the size of the Golden Oaks Library in the exam room of the school," I practically screamed? " Look all I know is that if Eve gets proper training and learns to control her magic she just might become the most powerful Alicorn in all of Equestria next to King Cosmos and Queen Eternia. She would be the Alicorn Princess of Life and Birth," I said looking at both of them.
Solaris stood there looking at the floor before he moved. My former student, I ask that you keep everything that has happened a secret for now, especially from Eve I, we don't think it would be beneficial to her health to learn of this right now," He said to at me with that fatherly tone of his.
"I understand and I'll let the other know about it as well but on a side note do you know what you'll be having?" I asked as I was about to turn and leave.
Why, yes our friend Dusk," Artemus said stepping up closer to me. "We are to be the proud fathers of two fillies and our dear Eve has already chosen their names they are to called Celestia and Luna," He said looking proud at the names.
"Thank you for telling me now I can let Rarity know so she can make some baby clothes for them when they're born," I said bowing as I turned to leave.
As I was in the hall making my way back to the school I couldn't help but smile. "Celestia and Luna, hmm well, after all, they will be the princesses of the sun and moon and who better to name them than Mother Nature herself," I thought to myself as I activated my magic and teleported back to the school.
Yay, it's Christmas or as the ponies call it Hearth's warming, either way, I always loved this time of year. The lights, decorations, food and most of all the presents. I always turn into a little kid during this time of year and being pregnant still hasn't changed anything. In fact, I think I'm acting, even more, caring with so much love for everyone. Here, let me tell you what happened just the other day.
I woke up feeling wonderful for two reasons first I was wrapped in the loving embrace of both my husbands. And the second thing was I got to feel my baby girls kick for the first time. So you can see why I'm happy. But what happened later was just as amazing see I was walking through the city and I came upon a rundown looking building. As I got closer I could hear the sounds of children that's when I realized that it was an orphanage but this was no place for children to live. Most of the windows looked like they were broken covered with boards and you could just feel that there was no true way to keep the place warm at night especially during this time of year.
Walking up to the door I stood there feeling the pain from this old place. The little lives within never knowing true happiness or joy. But that was going to change, I will never let a single child pony or other go without a warm bed and food for their bellies. After all what kind of a mother would I be?
My Foals will always be loved and have what they need but after my ascension, I felt as if I was the mother to all in this world the young and the old they were all my children and right now these young ones needed me. So I stepped up to the door and knocked waiting for some reply only to have the door open and for me to be greeted by a colt no bigger than that little guy in Ponyville Pipsqueak.
"H, H, Hello can I help you?" He said in one of the most adorable voices I ever heard.
Kneeling down I looked at him smiling. "Hello there little one, my name is Eve and I was wondering if I could speak with the pony in charge?" I said still smiling.
The colt still had to look up to me and when he did his eyes grew as big as dinner plates before he quickly bowed. " Your Princess Eve it is so nice to meet you, your Highness," He said still bowing.
Why thank you young one could I know the name of the well-mannered colt who greeted me?" I asked reaching out my hand.
"Yes your majesty my name is Short Stack," He said taking my hand and kissing it.
This caused me to blush and giggle a bit. "Thank you, Short Stack, for being such a gentle colt but could you tell me who runs this place?" I said as I gestured with my hand.
"Oh, that would be Mr. Penny Pintcher but he's not here right now," Short Stack said as he lowered his head and shock in what I could see was fear of the stallions name.
Seeing how this colt acted I had to find out the truth of why this place for the well being of orphans was in such a miserable state. Turning to look at my two guards one a Solar and the other a Lunar mostly for help getting back up but to speak with them. After they helped me up I turned to look at them.
"Wind Razor you will stay with me Flare Warden you will find this Penny Pincher and bring him here at once and I don't care if you have to drag him out of a toilet do you understand?" I said looking at her sternly.
I knew Flare would do anything I asked when it came to children seeing as she and Dusk Shine were trying to have one of their own. With a salute, she was off like a rocket. I turned back around and looked down at Short Stack who was watching all of this in awe.
"No how about you invite us inside, so we can meet the other children?" I said getting his attention.
Short looked back up at me and nodding before stepping aside so I could enter and I have to say outside with all the snow was warmer than inside. This caused my blood to boil as did Wind Razors as she huffed in anger but our moods changed a little when the sounds of small hooves could be heard running down the hall with the voices of laughing children. As we watched Twenty fillies and colts made their way into the front hall to greet us and I could see that most of them were in dire need of medical care and food. I had to keep myself from breaking down and crying at this and to stop my self from finding that motherfucker in charge. I'm not joking I want to string this guy up by his balls and use him as a Pinata with a mase as the stick.
I stood there and watched as all of the children lined up oldest to youngest to greet me and in a unified bow they all called out t once. "Greetings Princess Eve,"
I returned the greeting with a curtsy and a smile. "Thank you all for that kind greeting and it is so nice to meet all of you," I said trying to hold back my anger and tears at the sight of how these foals have to live. "Now according to my new friend Short Stack all of you are under the care of a Mr. Penny Pintcher is that correct?" I asked only to get the same fearful shacking from all of them and a few tear-filled eyes from the younger ones.
"Yes ma'am but he 's gone and we don't know when he'll be back?" A little thestral filly said.
Seeing this filly Wind Razor became even more upset to the point she started grinding her fangs. "How could somepony do this to these foals when I see him, I going to rip his throat out," She said under her breath but standing right behind me I heard every word and had to silently agree.
" Now I know you're all scared, but you don't have to be not anymore, so tell me the truth does Mr. Pintch treat you well?" I asked for all of them to fold their ears back and shack once more. Please, I know how you all fell that no pony cares about you but that is not true because I care and I want all of you to be happy safe and healthy so please are you being treated poorly?" I asked once more for Short Stack to step forward.
No, ma'ma most of the time we don't get enough to eat and it's always so cold. Some of the little ones are even sick because of it but Mr. Pintch says that we're just orphans so if we die then nopony will care," He said as tears fell from his and all the others eyes.
I could hold back my emotions any longer after hearing that and broke down. " I will not allow this to happen to anyone you children are the future of this land and you deserve a chance at happiness," I said through tear-filled eyes. "And I am going to make sure you get it,"
Just as I said that the door busted open and in walked a surely looking unicorn stallion even at the distance I was from him I could smell the alcohol on him.
What the buck is going on I was having a nice meal and some two-bit guard just drags me out the restaurant and bring me back here," He yells. "You miserable peises of shit better not have done anything or so help me," He started to say before his eyes fell on to me and Wind Razor. " Who the hell are you?"
"Hold your tongue cur and show respect you are addressing her Royal Highness Princess Eve," Wind Razor said stepping up to the drunk stallion with her sword drawn.
This got the stallion to sober up really quickly and I must admit it was funny to watch him as he tried to bow without falling on his face. "Y Y Your Highness, I did not recognize you forgive me," He said trying to compose himself. "May I ask why you are here?"
I just stood there looking at this fool trying to hold back my need to tear him apart but having all that training in royal etiquette I held firm. "Mr. Penny Pintcher it has come to our attention that you have been neglecting in your duties as Caregiver to these young fillies and colts for some time. And it would appear that you have been embezzling the Royal funds to maintain this home for these children. It would also appear that you have assaulted one of my personal guards," As flare had some of her wing feathers ruffled. " For that you are under arrest, Wind Razor take him and place him in the darkest, dirtiest hole you can find and feed him bread and water once a week until his trial next month and I do hope you learn how it feels to be neglected by those who are supposed to take care of you," I said signaling for Wind Razor to take him away.
I watched as he was about to say something but a quick reminder of a sword to his throat stopped him. After he was gone all the children cried out with joy until they realized that they were in the same predicament as before.
"Um, Princess what's going to happen to us now we don't have anypony to look after us?" Short Stack said stepping closer to me.
I looked down at him and the others as they all began to shiver from the cold. I stood there and realized he was right they didn't have anyone to take care of them and this place was not fit for anyone to live in. I closed my eyes and thought about what to do and like a bolt, it hit me so with a smile I looked at all their faces.
"Don't worry about that right now, for now, I want all of you to go and gather all of your things and be back as quickly as you can," I said making them look at me confused.
"Why are we going someplace else?" A little filly asked.
"Well until we can fix this place up and find a new nicer Caregiver for all of you, you will be staying in the castle," I said making all of their mouths hit the floor as well as Flares.
"Your Highness I know you want to help, but don't you think this is a little much?" Flare asked me after she composed herself as the children ran off to gather their things all laughing with joy.
I turned to look at her and smiled placing a hand on my pregnant belly. " Now Flare Warden I know damn well you were thinking the same thing as me, besides there's plenty of rooms that aren't being used and these kids need me, plus I know a few of the castle staff that have been looking for a filly or colt to adopt maybe you and Dusk might like to have one so when your baby is born they can a big brother or sister to watch over them," I said looking at her as she turned her head blushing.
"Princess I do appreciate your advice, but could you try and but out of our love life your not Princess Cadance," Flare said looking at me sternly.
"Oh, where's the fun in that, besides Caddy isn't here," I said sticking my tongue at her, making us both laugh.
After that, we heard the sounds of the children making their way back to us and seeing the meager belongings of them we looked at each other and we knew it was right to have them come with us. So I cleared my throat to get their attention.
"Alright children listen up," I said making all of them look up to me. "Now when we leave I want all of you to stay right behind me and if any of you can't keep up on our journey to the castle I want you to speak up to either myself or Flare," I said gesturing to Flare as she stood beside me. "Because I don't want to lose a single one of you," I said turning to the door and opening it only to see a squad of guards waiting outside. " Well children it looks like we're getting some more help guards I want all of you to help these children," I said as I stepped outside having the kids following me.
As we made our way to the castle I could see that the kids were a little scared at how the ponies in town were looking at them so to lift their spirits I began to whistle a tune.
"Princess, what's that?" A colt asked me as we walked.
"Oh, It's a song I used to sing when I was little and it always made me feels better, do you all want to try it?" I asked as turned to look at them.
"Yes ma'ma," They all said.
So with the magic of this world, the music started and I began to sing and seconds later not only were the children singing but all the guards as well. As we marched to the song the expression of the nobles soften and smiles moved across their faces.

As we finish our song we arrived at the main gates to the castle. Where we were greeted by my husbands and judging by the looks of confusion on their faces I had some explaining to do. So taking a deep breath I told the guards to keep the children with them while I spoke to the Princes'.
"Now Solaris Atremus I know you're confused about this but let me explain," I said before they both smiled at me making me confused.
"There is no need our love, WWind Razor has told us of the condition these foals were in and we knew full well you would do anything to help them," Solaris said smiling.
"So we had rooms made up for all of them and summoned the doctors to make sure they are healthy as well as have some of the staff go out and buy them Hearth's Warming gifts," Artemus said stepping closer to me.
I couldn't say anything so I just pulled them both close to me and kissed and hugged them as tears fell from my eyes. After composing myself I turned around to look at all little ones as a smile grew on my face.
"Well, children it looks like we need to get inside so all you can get to your rooms and get ready because tomorrow is Hearth's Warming Eve and we have a party to have," I said making all of them smile and cheer.
"Thank you, Prince Solaris Prince Artimus Princess Eve, we love you!" They yelled out.
This made all three of us smile and blush, making the children and guards giggle. I turned to look at all of them only to be greeted with big smiles.
"Alright now, it's getting cold out here, so how about we go inside," I said to them only for them to run past us into the castle.
"I just want to know something if you already knew what I was going to do then why did you look confused when we showed up?" I asked my stallions.
"Actually we were wondering about that song all of you were singing where did you learn it?" Artimus asked as he started walking next to me on my right.
"Yes I would like to know as well it was fun to hear," Solaris said as he walked on my left side.
"Oh, I learned it when I was in the Orphanage back on Earth the Nuns taught it to us," I said making both of them stop in their tracks.
"You were an orphan, but why didn't you tell us?" Solaris asked.
"Yep, till I was seventeen and I didn't tell you because that's not who I am it's just a part of a past I don't like talking about," I said as I continued walking.
After we got all the children set up in the rooms and had the doctors take a look at them we all settled down to prepare for the party and I have to say it was a blast. All my friends from Ponyville were there as were their families. We even found that some of the staff and guards wanted to adopt some of the fillies and clots. Pinkie, Cheese Sandwich, Dusk Shine, Flare Warden, as well as Rainbow Dash and Apple Jack wanted to adopt some of them. So I would have to say it was the best Hearth's Warming these kids ever had. Out of all twenty of them, all but Short Stack was chosen and my heart almost broke. But that all changed when I heard him cry with joy.
" Really you really mean it?" He said looking up at the last person or should I say dragon you would expect.
Yep, it was Spike after his little growth spirt he and Rarity finally got together and judging by the noticeable bump Rarity has, I say they're already on their way to having another bundle of joy joining them next year.
" Did you hear Princess, did ya?" Short said as he ran over to me smiling the whole way.
" Yes I did and I couldn't be happier for you, for all of you, Happy Hearth's Warming to you all," I said as I looked out at all the smiling children and their new families.
" Happy Hearth's Warming," They all called back.
The party continued on but for some reason, I felt as if I was needed someplace else. So quietly I creped away making my way out to the gardens. Looking around at the snow-covered ground I felt a sense of peace and calm. Taking a deep breath I was about to return when I heard a woman's voice call me.
"Eve,"
"Eve this way," It said as a ball of light appeared before me.
" Do not be afraid Eve this way," It said as it floated down a path away from the castle.
I followed the light without fear or worry until I found myself standing in front of The Tree of Harmony.
" Hello Eve, it is so nice to finally meet you," The voice said as the tree glowed.
" What's going on, who are you?" I asked as the realization hit me.
"You already know who I am Eve for I have been with you all your life watching over you," The voice from the tree said.
I stood there looking at the tree placing my hands on my belly. " Are you my Guardian Angel?" I asked now sounding like a small child.
"Yes Eve I am, but you know my real name," The voice said.
" You're, her, the Virgin Mary," I said in a whisper almost as if it was a secret I was supposed to keep.
"Yes Eve," The voice said before a figure appeared before me. " And I must say, I am very proud of you and all that you have done," The figure of the Blessed Mother said as she stood in front of me.
I was about to drop to my knees before I felt her hand on my shoulder. " There is no need for you to kneel before me my child as it is not healthy for you or your babies," She said smiling at me.
" I don't understand why, why have you come?" I asked now feeling unworthy.
I have come to give you a gift," She said smiling at me. "But not just any gift this is one from the Heavenly Father himself for all that you have done not only here but on Earth as well,"
"But, I'm unworthy of such a gift," I said bowing my head.
"You may think that but, He knows best, and this is the one thing that you always wanted," The Virgin Mary said only for another voice to be heard.
"Eve is that you?" The voice said coming from behind a very confused Eve.
The woman smiled at her with tears falling from her eyes. "Look at how well you have grown up and how beautiful you are," The woman said still looking at Eve with eyes filled with tears and love.
Eve stood there for a moment before it hit her of who this person was and with tears falling from her eyes she moved closer until she reached out and pulled the woman into a bone-crushing hug. " Mommy, it's you, missed you, mommy," Eve said as she hugs the woman making sure she was not harming her babies. " Where were you why didn't you look for me?" Eve asked as she released the woman.
"Oh, baby, I am so sorry but you were born premature and when the tornado hit the hospital the NICU was destroyed they couldn't find you and I thought, I thought I lost you," The woman said as she pulled her daughter into another hug crying. After losing your father then you I couldn't go on and I tried to end it but she came to me and told me that you were alive and I had to wait to be with you again,"
Hearing this Eve pulled away from her mother and turned to look at Mary. You knew she was looking for me all this time and you didn't even help me find her WHY!" I yelled not caring anymore.
"I am truly sorry Eve but the Lord had put you on a path that even he could not change. You were meant to come here, you were meant to fall in love with Solaris and Artimus, you were meant to carry their foals. You, my dear child, are the gift of Love and Hope for this world and your daughters will be the beacon for the future," The Virgin Mary said as she stepped closer to Eve. Now it is time for you both to return home your husbands are worried looking for you,"
"Wait, what do you mean the both of us?" I asked looking, from Mary to my mother.
Eve watched as her mother stepped closer to her half smiling. " I guess I should explain things to you when we get back to the castle?" She said only making Eve nod.
"Now I wish you both a Merry Christmas and long lives," The Virgin Mary said as she began to disappear.
Eve turned around to see her Guadian Angel disappearing. " Thank you so much for this and everything you had done for me," She said as the form completely vanished from sight.
The two were now alone but before either could say a word they both heard the frantic calls of two stallions.
"Eve,"
"Eve where are you?"
"Answer please our love,"
Both women just looked at each other and laughed. "I think it would be a good idea to let them know that the three of you are alright," Her mother said gesturing with her head in the direction of the voices.
I nodded to her before I called out. "Here I am and I'm alright," I yelled loud enough for them to hear me.
Seconds later both my husbands had landed at the entrance to the cave and quickly rushed to me both speaking at the same time and asking the same questions.
Are you alright, what happened, why did you leave without telling anypony?
"I'm fine and I'm sorry for worrying you both but I had to do this alone," I said as I hugged and kissed each of them.
"I do not understand what did you have to do alone?" Solaris asked before he noticed the figure standing behind me. Sunset Shimmer is that you?" He asked as he stepped closer to my mother.
Sunset bowed before him. "Greeting you Highness it's been a long time hasn't it?" Sunset asked lightly chuckling.
"Yes it has, tell me why have you come back?" He said looking down at the still bowing pony.
Sunset rose up to look at him. " I came back for two reasons first to ask for you to forgive me for my stupidity and the second was for her," Sunset said pointing a hoof at her daughter.
Artimus step up and placed himself between the two of us. "You will not harm our beloved wife or our foals. He said flaring his wings.
Sunset took a step back at this display. "Are you daf what kind of a mare would harm her own daughter or grandchildren?" She said yelling at Artimus.
"Wait, daughter, grandchildren?" Both stallions asked in unison.
"Yes, Eve is my daughter and now my baby is going to have babies," Sunset said as she looked at her daughter as tear filled her eyes.
"I do not understand how can you be her mother when Eve is human and you are a pony?' Artimus said as he moved to stand next to his wife.
Taking a deep breath Sunset closed her eyes. "The world I left to was Earth while there my body changed and I became human losing most of my magic. Ther I lived growing up as a normal girl I went to school became an adult feel in love with a human male we even got married. All the time I hid who and what I truly was until the day I found out I was pregnant then I decided to show and tell my husband the truth and when I did he just hugged and kissed me telling me he didn't care what I was he loved me for me. But all thing must end I lost him in an accident a few months later then Eve was born a month and a half early then I lost her due to a tornado hitting the hospital. I wanted to end it all but something stopped me then I learned that I would be with her again but I had to wait and here I am back with my baby girl and back home where I belong," She said as she sat on her haunches crying as she told her story.
Solaris moved over and wrapped his wings around her. It does not matter, you have gone through so much hardship but that is behind you, for now, you are with your daughter and home so come let us return to the party and announce the return of my former student and mother of our beloved wife Eve," He said making all of us nod in agreement.
And with that, we made our way back all the while my mother was asking me all sorts of embarrassing questions like how did the guys and I hook up and if it was true that Alicorns could go all night long you know typical mother questions.
After our return to the castle and party, I introduced my mother to everyone, typical Pinkie and Cheese wanted to throw her a welcome home party to which she excepted only for it to take place after the holidays. The party continued until all of the little ones were tuckered out and their new parents decided to take them all to bed. We too had chosen the retire for the night and that is when I had a strange but wonderful dream or maybe it was a vision of the future who knows.
Eve's Dream
I am longing under a tree in the castle gardens watching as my mother is teaching, my, I mean her granddaughters how to use their magic.
"Now, Tai, Luna, you need to concentrate so I want each of you to levitate these books up to the tips of your horns understood?" She said sounding more like a Drill Sergeant than a grandmother.
"Yes, Grandma," The girls said in unison.
"Remember when I am teaching you I am to be called Miss Sunset," Mother said as her stern look turned to a smile before all three of them started to laugh.
As I sat there watching this, I placed my hands on my extended belly rubbing it. "Soon, Discord you Sombra and Chrysalis will be able to meet you, big sisters," I said as I felt three small kicks from the foals inside me.
