~Chapter One: A new.... Day?~
Magic of Bright fires and Dark Shadows flies everywhere as Princess Luna looks upon what
appears to be her darker side, Nightmare moon, the demon that turn her against her own sister, fighting against some twisted version of her older beloved sister, Princess Celestia.
“I’ve seen a lot, but…. I haven't seen THIS before!” Luna said, both amazed yet in fear. The sight of her own demons brings back the horrible memories.
“It’s…. Its Starlight Glimmer’s. She’s afraid this is what will happen if we….. Continue to fight!” Celestia says, freaking out, and not sure of what to do. Meanwhile Starlight cries out in sadness and in deep fear in the magical bubble.
“WHAT WAS I THINKING?! I'M NEVER GOING WITH MY GUT AGAIN!” she cries out, wondering why she was even there in the first place.
“If you don't fix this soon, it could have a grave consequence on Starlight's psyche!” Luna said as she worriedly look at Celestia.
“But my magic isn't powerful enough! I thought if we worked together...!” Celestia says. In her mind, Her heart cries out for luna.
“I have your magic, remember? It doesn't work in the dream realm. It has to be you!” Luna says sternly.
“Oh, Luna… I…. I can't do this! I was wrong! Your job is so incredibly hard! You have to battle nightmares and work in the darkness and do it all alone! It takes such a brave, strong pony to do what you do!” Celestia cries out. Celestia was freaking out, as she realizes something dark in her mind.
“And that pony is you. I walked a day in your shoes. I thought all you had to do was smile and be adored all the time, but I was wrong. There is so much more to it than that.” Luna says serenely as she holds her sisters hoof. Daybreaker, in all her glory laughs maniacally, surrounded in her bright fire, blasts Nightmare moon. Nightmare screeches as she falls down. The room fades and changes to the the bright throne room where Daybreaker ever so evilly sits on her throne where her fire shines ever so brightly in her soon to be victory.
“Don’t do this to each other!!” Starlight cries out from her bubble. Daybreaker not hearing Starlight’s words, trots towards Nightmare, to finish her off.
“In order to defeat Daybreaker, you need only to trust in your strength as I do.” Luna says.
“But…. I … I just can’t Luna! Luna, I……” Celestia look down and sighs.
“That day when I had to banish you, was worst day of my life, and from that day on, I was SO alone…..I so very ALONE….” Celestia cries out. Luna shocked hearing this from Celestia.
“W...What do you mean?” Luna asks.
“I tried everything I could go to bring you back….. I tried to re use the elements but they wouldn’t work for me, I tried a couple of spells from Starswirl old journal, but they wouldn't work. I tried to use EVERY INCH OF MY OWN MAGIC!!.... But in the end and now, I realized….. Im….. Im weak.” Celestia poured the ever so hurtful truth inside her heart. Celestia could feel the darkness inside of her. The memories flooded back to her. That day when luna was banished, that day when her own fears sank into her own heart, weakening her from within.
“And That is why, I am everything you're not!” Daybreaker spoke up. Daybreaker knows who she is, a better mare than Celestia. Luna snaps her at Daybreaker, eye’s filled with fury.
“No, you are not my better then my sister!” Luna shouts. Daybreaker will never be like Celestia.
“Oh but she is….. You and I both know it, Luna.” Nightmare says, gotten up from her fall. Luna starts to get nerves as Nightmare start trotting over to her. Luna could feel the darkness challenge her.
“You know that without the Elements of Harmony, we could have easily defeated Celestia. No…. I could easily defeated Celestia!” Nightmare said. Nightmare knows, that part of luna want to hurt her sister when they became one.
“Now look at you Celestia, you can no longer use the Elements of Harmony, and let that old student of yours and her student take all the glory, of ‘saving equestria’! Blah!” Daybreaker says. This darker side of Celestia says true words in Celestia’s jealous heart.
“And Luna, you're just back to where you were before! Celestia not giving you all the credit while you just sit in your little shadows!” Nightmare mocks Luna.
“T-that’s…. That’s not true!” Luna stutters. The reality of their truth starts to grip her, while Celestia looks down with shame.
“Face it, you're both nothing without US.” Daybreaker says as she gets closer at Nightmare moon. They both laugh in delight. A sinister idea forms inside Nightmare’s head.
“You know….. Why are we fighting each other? We only fight because this is Starlight’s fear, yet, In reality, whose fear is this really is?” Nightmare chuckles.
“True, and we both know we are both apart of Celestia AND luna.” Daybreaker says, catching on to Nightmare’s idea. Both Celestia and Luna look upon with fear.
“Why not see what happens, power beings as us, say….. Combine into one? And escape this pitiful place and make our own the the real world!” Nightmare says. Both Nightmare and Daybreaker laugh.
“You… You can’t! You have no power here!” Luna says. This was just a dream, and there was no way could try to overpower her and celestia at the same time.
“Ha! Oh yes we do, Remember Luna, I'm still apart of you, that goes the same for your powers.” Nightmare says ever so sly.
“And even though, Celestia has your powers, We are still connected. We are more real than you think.” Daybreaker says. Both laugh once again. With a glow of magic from their horns, They in hoof and hoof. A bright light and Dark shadows consumed them. The Light and the Darkness mix into one and form a silhouette of a tall pony with fading and mixing colors of purple and yellow creating what looks like a flaming sunset with inner stars. A mouth from from it, creating a dark sinister grim. It voice’s echos with its laugh.
“Time for the sun and moon to fade away!” It says getting closer to Celestia and Luna.
“N-no!” Luna blast a beam at it, but nothing happens. Luna turns to Celestia, looking at her with fear in her eye’s. They had to do something.
“Celestia! P-Please, you have to do something!” Luna cries out. Celestia looks at the thing with horror. She blasts some magic at it, it doesn’t even make a dent. The thing laughs. Celestia looks down with tears.
“I'm sorry luna, I….. I can’t….” Celestia says in a low voice. Luna opens her mouth to say something, but before she say anything, The thing appears in front of them. The the sunset looking flames surround them, Luna screams as the dark magic consumes them.

“Starlight! Starlight, please, wake up!!” a familiar voice calls out. Starlight hears the voice and slowly opens up her eye’s.
“Ughhh…… Twilight?” Starlight says as she starts to get up. Starlight could feel her whole body start to wake up.
“Oh, thank goodness you're up!” Twilight hugs Starlight tightly.
“Woah! Um, Twilight, what's going on?” Starlight asks, reacting to tight hug. Suddenly Twilight face’s shifts from happy to concerned and freaked out. Starlight knew this face. Something was wrong.
“What’s going on?! That’s what I wanted to ask you! Have you SEEN what the sky looks like?!” Twilight said. Those words make Starlight’s heart sink. Starlight quickly took a few steps to outside of the balcony. She looks up and gasps in horror. The Sky was now in mix and nue with colors of sunset and sunrise. Colors of blue, purple, orange and yellow mix in the sky, as now the Sun and the moon changed from being two separate things into a beautiful starstruck yet sinisterly dark Eclipse. Starlight wonders what has happen then the reality of the dream kicks in. She starts hyperventilating. Twilight runs over and tries to calm Starlight down.
“Starlight! Please calm down! You have to tell me what happen! And where are the Princesses?!” Twilight says.
“Why, we are right here, my precious student!” a alluring sweet yet dark calls out from above. Both mares look up to see a light purple-ish Grey alicorn descend from the sky. Her eye’s were that of a sunrise with dark inner purple in them as well sinister light purple eye lashes. She has armor on her chest, hoof, and head that is silver with purple marks on it. Her mane and was a flowing Sunset with inner light blue flame with inner stars on them. Her cutie mark was a splotch of a colors of a sunset with a dark purple moon and a dark orange sun. She flies down to the two other mares. Twilight expression turns to anger and stomps her hooves at this Alicorn.
“What have you’ve done with Princess Celestia and Luna?!” Twilight shouts.
“My, My Twilight, must we have to repeat ourselves? We are your princesses. Well, princess now.” The Alicorn chuckles.
“No, you are not!” Twilight shouts.
“Twilight…. She is them….” Starlight speaks out, tears stream out down her face. Twilight looks back at Starlight with an confused angry face.
“In the dream….. Nightmare and Celestia’s darker side came together and overpowered Celestia and Luna, because….. I switched their cutie mark, Celestia didn’t know what to do….. What have I done?!” Starlight cries out. She falls to the ground to cover her face. The map had send her there to make the sisters see eye to eye with the other, but know they are no longer there and an great evil is now alive. Twilight looks down with shockful doubt, see closes her eyes then with a sadden face, trots over and puts a hoof on starlight.
“Starlight, it's not your fault, You couldn’t have known that this would happen.” Twilight said. The Alicorn starts to trot over to them. Twilight turns to the Alicorn, filled with fury. Her horn lights up with her pink magic ready to defend or attack. Celestia and Luna may have turned into the ‘thing’ but she will still defend and fight for her and her friends. The alicorn chuckles. Before Twilight could do anything, The alicorn quick fire her own dark purple-ish red-ish magic which swirls around Twilight’s horn and wings, creating a magic chains around it. Horror sets in, for Twilight. She tries to use her magic, but color of her magic doesn’t appear.
“I can’t having you try to stop me or get your little friends now, can’t I? After all, I need to help set up my new kingdom!” The Alicorn says.
“New Kingdom?!” Twilight says in fear. The alicorn walks past Twilight and with her hoof, lifts up Starlight’s chin to meet her face.
“Now, Now Starlight, no need to cry. I must thank you, without you, I could have never been freed. Though, under my control, Equestria shall thrive. So I shall give you and Twilight….. Some Mercy.” The alicorn said. Starlight tears stop and look turns to fear. Both Twilight and Starlight did not like the sound of this.
“W-what do you mean?” Starlight says.
“While you may have helped me, I know that you both are quite powerful, and I will not have any threats to my kingdom, so from now on you are not to leave the castle. I will keep my eye on you both. And if you should ever leave, well….. It will be very unfortunate for your little friends.” The alicorn says harshly. Both Twilight and Starlight gulp.
“Now, come! My new throne awaits!” The alicorn trots inside.
“Yes princess ce..... Princess lu…. Um… what do we call you?” Starlight says, with a bit in fear in her voice. The Alicorn turn to them. She chuckles. This was going to be fun.
“You may call me…. Mistress Eclipse.”
