> Sunset's Dream Team > by RodTheBrony > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Are You A Real Villan? > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- “You don't know the first thing about this world and I already rule it.” This was a line Sunset Shimmer had just said to Twilight Sparkle, new to the human world. She liked that line. For the most part. She was lying when she said she ruled the world, let alone the school. She wishes that was true. However, her countless attempts have now been flushed down the drain. She did rule the school before Twilight came to the school. After that the students Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash were persuaded to be good from Twilight. She expected for Twilight to infect the rest of the students with this so called “friendship”. She wanted it to stop all of this friendship spreading but she couldn't do it on her own. Too much has been lost on her part. Sunset had a plan. She new a friend outside of Canterlot that knew other girls that was into the type of villainy she liked. That is what she would do. ... After school that day, Sunset drive to the outskirts of Canterlot. It took about half an hour. When she got to her destination, Sunset stopped her car in front of a blue, 1 story, western style house. Sunset got out of the car, locked it and walked up to the front door. Sunset knocked 3 times before stepping back. The door opened. Standing in the inside was Derpy. Sunset was confused. That wasn't the person she knew. “Hi there,” Derpy said. “I'm assuming you are looking for Carrot Top?” “Uh, yeah,” Sunset replied with a grin. “Ok, I'll get her,” Derpy said turning around and heading into a room beside her. There was silence for a bit until Carrot Top appeared at the door. “Hi Sunset,” Carrot Top said smiling. “C'mon in. Whatever you need, we can deal with it inside.” “Thanks,” Sunset replied before stepping in the house. When she entered, she get a huge blast of cool air from the AC. “Just wondering. Why is the AC on so high?” “Oh, our roommates like it that way,” Carrot Top responded signaling for Sunset to follow her. “We only get them once a week so I just live with it.” Sunset nodded as they entered the living room as they sat down on the couch closest to the entrance. “So where are these roommates?” “In the basement,” Carrot Top responded. “Why?” Sunset paused for a moment, trying how to say this in the best way. “I heard they were into villainy.” Carrot Top raised an eyebrow. “Sunset, why are trying to rule the school again? You know that you can't beat Twilight. With helpers or not.” Sunset blankly stared at Carrot Top for a couple seconds. She also blinked a few times. “How did you know this was about Twilight???” Carrot Top put a hand on Sunset's shoulder and turned to her. “Sunset, I'm your only friend. I know you very well. Especially when it comes to your type of villainy. “ “Yeah, I guess you are right,” Sunset replied smiling. As the two went in for a hug, Sunset gained more determined to beat Twilight and her new friends. The hug was long, but the two didn't care. Eventually, the two broke free of the hug. “Let's find you some villains,” Carrot Top said smiling, getting up just before Sunset. Sunset followed Carrot Top down to the basement. The steps were few but very steep. Once the two got down, they turned a corner to the area where the people were living. When they looked at them, Sunset was in shock. The 3 girls that were there all Iooked like herself except with different hair hair styles. Before Sunset could say anything, Carrot Top was already at the top of the stairs. “Good luck,” Carrot Top shouted down the stairs before closing the basement door. Sunset turned to the new girls. “Hi there,” the 3 said. “I'm Rina,” One girl said. “I'm Tina,” One other girl said. “I'm Lina,” The last girl said. “Shimmer,” they said together. Sunset looked at the girls blankly. Rina had her hair cut down to a 3, Tina had her hair in a bun and Lina had a pony tail. “I heard you were experts in Villainy, “ Sunset said slowly approaching the girls. “We aren't experts but we are good,” Rina replied as Tina and Lina nodded. “Good enough,” Sunset replied. Sunset got the girls to line up. The order was Lina, Rina, Tina and Sunset, left to right. “I need you to help me with a task, a villinus task,” Sunset said smirking. “Sure. What?” Rina asked. “I have this girl, focused on friendship while I'm focused on disharmony,” Sunset said starting to pace around the girls. “She has gotten out of hoof, er I mean hand by myself. I felt like you could help.” “Sure,” the girls said together. “Great, you are looking for a purple faced and purple haired girl,” Sunset said clapping softly. “So should we just get a one horned one eyed flying purple eater?” Rina asked with a confused look. “Didn't he die by a scoop?” Lina asked. “How is he still alive?” Sunset facepalmed. Turns out this wasn't going to be as easy as she hoped. “Idiots,” Sunset said almost yelling. She calmed herself. “The O.H.O.E.F.P.P.E is Fiction. So is FNAF. You are thinking about William Afton.” “Oh” Lina and Tina said together. Sunset sighed as she joined the line. “Are you a real villain?” “Well, uh, technically, uh, nah,” Rina responded. “Great. Just great,” Sunset thought to herself sarcastically. “Have you ever caught a good guy, like, like a real hero,” Sunset asked aloud this time. “Nah,” Lina replied as Tina shook her head. “Have you ever tried a disguise?” Sunset asked, hoping they would say yes. “Nah, nah,” Lina replied. Sunset sighed. She didn't know what else to do. Actually, she did have one final option. “All right, I can see that I have to teach you how to be true villains,” Sunset said with a smile and a finger in the air. ... The Next Day… Sunset and her new partners in crime were ready. After a 3 minute Musical montage, they were ready. Or, at least Sunset hoped they were. As she walked down the halls, all of the students looked at Sunset’s sidekicks with either shock or fear. Sunset was achieving her goal without commencing her big plan. Of course, this would help but not to the extent she wanted. What she wanted was for her partners to be so vilnius, she could get rid of Twilight without getting her crown back. As Sunset walked down the hall, she saw Twilight at the end of the hall. “Quick, in here,” Sunset said signalling the girls to come in the empty classroom next to them. Sunset opened the door. As she entered, she realized her companions did not follow. “Get in here NOW.” “But the purple girl you want is-” Rina didn't get to finish her sentence before Sunset grabbed the 3 girls by the leg and dragged them into the room. As Sunset closed the door, Rina looked at Sunset funny. “What was that for?” She asked angrily. “You were going to be caught Sunset said, yelling back. “You 3 aren't supposed to be here. Most of the students are not smart enough to know that. But the staff and Twilight’s friends are smart enough. Now why Twilight knows, I have no idea but she does.” “But didn't you say you had traps for her?” Lina asked. “Why not set them up now?” Sunset facepalmed. “I don't want to get caught so I will set them when ONLY Twilight is around. Why don't you know this stuff? It is villainy 101. If you ARE villains, you should know this stuff.” “We never said we were experts,” Tina said stammering. Sunset was growing furious. “THIS STUFF ISN'T ROCKET SCIENCE!!!” Sunset said as loud as she could. There was a knock at the door. “Sunset Shimmer, come out of this room now and explain yourself,” It was Principal Celestia. “Why do I always forget how loud my voice can get?” Sunset asked herself in her head. “You guys stay here and stay hidden till I come back,” Sunset aloud but quietly as she turned the doorknob to see Principal Celestia. ... Sunset was walking out of detention after the school day was over. Celestia had given Sunset a 1 hour detention even though Sunset’s reasoning for why she was so loud to seemingly nobody was shaky. Still, she rathered that than losing her one chance of getting rid of Twilight. Once she finally got to the room that she was in, she opened the door. When she opened the door, she saw her team on the floor in the top left corner of the room. “C'mon guys,” Sunset said motioning her hand to come forward. It took a while but eventually they got up and followed Sunset. “I'm sorry for leaving you there,” Sunset trying to sound sympathetic when she actually wasn't. The girls said nothing. “I'm serious,” Sunset said. The girls still said nothing. Just as that happened, Twilight passed by as she exited the school. “There she is,” Rina said pointing to her. “Great,” Sunset said ducking behind a bush once she got outside as she looked at the girls. Sunset pulled out a net out of her pocket and started to unfold it. “Now look at this net, that I just got,” Sunset said smiling at the girls. ‘When I say go, be ready to throw.” Sunset looked at the girls briefly. “Go.” The 3 threw the net on Sunset. “Throw it on her, not me.” Once Sunset got the net of her, Twilight was already gone. She wanted to scold the girls but if she did, she would have no chance of catching up with Twi. “Let's try something else,” Sunset said to the girls with a disappointing look. Sunset signalled the girls to follow her as she broke into a sprint. It took 2 ½ minutes to find Twilight. Luckily for them, Twilight was just caught up, talking with Flash Century. As Sunset looked for a spot to hide, she put a finger on her lips and faced the girls. The girls nodded in response. Just as Sunset found a spot, Lina had stepped on a huge stick. When she did, it made a huge cracking noise. “Don't touch that!” Sunset yelled as quiet as she could just as she picked up the stick and threw it in the bush. Just as Sunset finished things up, Twilight had already started to leave. “This time, i'll show you how to do it,” Sunset said growling at the girls. The girls followed Sunset to where she knew Twilight was going. The bus stop. Pinkie Pie had offered for Twilight to stay at her place for the night. Of course, she accepted. Sunset now was setting up her final trap, if this didn't work, she didn't know what to do. She took a bucket of banana peels out if her bag and opened. “Watch and learn, here's the deal, she will slip and slide on these banana peels,” Sunset said backing up, dropping the banana peels one by one. As she finished, her companions, as instructed previously, followed her but slipped on the banana peels in the process. “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!?!” Sunset yelled at the girls. “YOU GUYS ARE SO DUMB! YOU SAY YOU HAVE SKILLS IN VILLANY BUT YOU ARE JUST CLUMSY AND DUMB!!!!” After that, Sunset wanted to kill all 3 of them. Sunset felt like the 3 girls lied. Either that or they thought villany meant something else. By the time the girls got up, Twilight was coming their way. “Maybe this could work,” Sunset thought as she hopped into a bush with the girls. “Once she falls, I can throw her into the portal and block it off.” By the time Sunset finished monologuing with herself, Twilight had already slipped. Sunset started to come out of the bush but her companions beat her to it. Maybe they were trying to redeem their self. But no. When they got there, they helped Twilight up and cleaned up the bananas. Once Twilight hoped on the bus, just as she got up, Sunset went over to the girls furiously. “WHAT THE HECK WERE YOU THINKING?!?!” Sunset yelled. “YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO HELP THE GOD GARN ENEMY!!!!” The 3 girls looked at Sunset sternly. “Maybe you aren't supposed to but we are,” Lina said looking away. “We found out that what you are doing is wrong and is mean,” Tina said loudly. “The more we were with you, the more we realized that,” Rina said. Before Sunset could say anything, the 3 girls had turned their backs towards Sunset and started walking. Presumably back to Carrot Top’s place. Wait. “Uh, Carrot Top’s house is that way,” Sunset said pointing North. “We know,” Tina said in an aggravated tone. Sunset was confused. After a few seconds of thinking, the girls were gone. You know what, Sunset didn't need them anyway. She didn't need some people who couldn't help her in her quest to stop Twilight. She gave them a few chances and they blew it. Also, they are traitors. She rambled on about what they did for a couple minutes until she ran out of ideas. As she started walking home, she had this feeling. This feeling she should get new sidekicks. But who did she know that would do that. Sunset sighed. 2 people actually. 2 people that are not the most ideal but they would work. Tomorrow, she would talk to her biggest admirers to see if they want to be her sidekick. Who are these admirers? Snipps and Snails.
