Confession in the Hospital Room
Quibble, Scootaloo, and Rummble all made their way up to the VIP box. The show was still a few hours away from starting. Many of the Wonderbolts were up in the VIP box talking to friends and family. The box sat above the rest of the stadium and had the best view of the arena. "Hey Quibble, Scootaloo, are you guys ready to see the most awesome Wonderbolts' show yet?" Rainbow Dash flew over to them. Rumble headed over to his brother who was talking to their parents.
"You bet I am Rainbow!" Scootaloo ran up to her idol, who picked her up and tossed her on to her back.
"You bet we are." Quibble kissed her on her cheek causing her face to go slightly pink. Scootaloo gasped. "Made you blush Dash." Quibble smirked. The playful smirk was returned by Rainbow Dash. Scootaloo gasped and gave a slight cheer, as Rainbow Dash stepped up to Quibble kissing him on the lips. His eyes went wide and his cheeks went red.
"Made you blush 20% more." She smirked as she walked past him gently patting his cheek with her tail as she walked Scootaloo to her spot. Quibble just stood there out of it as most of the other ponies in the box were snickering. "Hey Quibble you're filly and the best friend are over here." Quibble shook his head getting out of his daze and trotted over to his seat.
"Only best friend?" Scootaloo asked. "Come on Dad when are you and her going to go steady. You're practically Marefriend Stallionfriend already. Just make it official, already."
"That's the question we've all been asking." Thunderlane walked over with his brother. Who sat down with his fillyfriend. "Come on Quibble you've got one of the best mares in Equestria, even counting the Princesses. And everypony in Ponyville know you're a pair just own up to it."
"It's fine Quib's told me why, and it was a good enough reason for me. I'm willing to wait." Rainbow Dash put her wing around her stallion. "So long as I'm the only mare for him before he makes it official then I'm fine with it." She leaned in and pecked his cheek. She leaned in and whispered into her ear. "I've asked Rarity to look after the CMC at her house for a slumber party tonight so I hope your available." Quibble's face got red again, as he gulped.
"Alright everypony time for the last practice run. Let's go!" Captain Spitfire called.
"See ya Rumble. You're going to love the show."
"See you guys. Sit back and enjoy the show." Rainbow Dash got up and headed out following Spitfire and the rest of the Wonderbolts. Scootaloo cozied up with Rumble as they watched out the window as the Wonderbolts started flying into the arena. Doing practice runs and warm ups for the show. All of the practiced stunts were ones that had been seen before. All the newer stunts had already been drilled into them by now, and would remain a secret until preformed for the audience.
The stadium was now nearly full, and the show had just started. The Wonderbolts flew out into the arena ending The conversation between Quibble and Rumble's parents, as all eyes turned to face the arena, as the show began. The Wonderbolts flew around the arena leaving all but one of them leaving a storm cloud in their wake. The only one that was different was Rainbow Dash as she flew around the stadium she left a rainbow trail in her wake. The first thirty minutes they preformed their standard stunts. All the part and parcel tricks that they were known for. After the first thirty minutes the Wonderbolts flew straight up into the sky beginning a new trick.
They rose hundreds of meters into the air, before diving down. Every hundred meters the two furthest ponies on the wings spun off. Their storm clouds spinning away from the rainbow in the center of their formation. With in seconds Dash was the last pony still in a dive. She pulled up at the last second. Spinning back up. The crowd erupted in cheers. The others reformed above her and dived down. Spun past them her rainbow trail breaking through the dark clouds.
She flew in a dizzy daze above the crowded stadium of adoring fans. She shook her head trying to reorganize her thoughts, before diving down to rejoin the group. She dove down the world still spinning around her. She missed her mark slamming hard head first into the side of Soarin who was fortunate enough to crash into Thunderlane. The two of them managing to keep each other in the air Soarin in a daze. Dash however blacked out. Spinning to the ground. The crowd screamed, the other half couldn't make a sound. Spitfire dove in hard grabbing two emergency clouds and raced down throwing the two in front of Dash. The two clouds burst, as they tried to break her fall. They however succeeded in slowing her down enough for Spitfire to catch her a few hoofs above the ground. The air show came to a stop as everypony held their breath.
Quibble's heart stopped as medical ponies came into the arena. Scootaloo started crying as her mentor, and second mother lay there unconscious on the ground. Rumble wrapped his forehooves around his filly friend. Quibble put his hoof on his daughter's back as his world started to fall apart. The pain in his chest, was horribly familiar to him, it was just like Sea Breeze all over again. He finally let go of the breath he was holding, along with the rest of the stadium, as Rainbow Dash raised her hoof. She brought it back down quickly as the medical ponies put her on a stretcher and took her out to the hospital. Quibble got up and took Scootaloo with him as they headed to the hospital.

Rainbow Dash regained consciousness. She felt weird, then again she always felt weird after screwing up so bad that it ended in a visit to the hospital. She rubbed her head. It was bandaged up. "Well that's good it looks like I only hurt my head." She stretched her wings. "For a moment there I thought it was something important." She tried to sit up, only to be forced by a searing pain to sit back down.
"Rainbow Dash, you're awake. Are you okay?" He wiped the tears from his eyes as he sat up.
"Huh yeah just seems to be my head. It only hurts when I think. So I should be fine right?" Quibble started shacking tears welling back in his eyes. "Hey come on. I'm fine."
"You're on heavy pain killers Dash."
"That explains a lot. Like having the best stallion in Equestria in my hospital room." She chuckled. "Hey what's wrong do you need some pain killer? Cause I'm the one that has the head injury but you're the one crying."
"Dash, seeing you there. It. It felt just like losing Sea Breeze again. It made me think." He wiped the fresh tears away only for more to take their place.
"Yeah thinking hurts."
"I thought about us." Her ears perked up. "About our relationship, how I've been an idiot." He started shaking. "That you were going to die and I never told you I love you. I love you so much and I want to be with you." Rainbow's cheeks started glowing red.
"Wow I should have crashed a long time ago." She put her hoof on Quibble. "Calm, down Quibbs. I'm not going anywhere. Scootaloo needs me, and you're an absolute wreck without me." With that she slipped back into unconsciousness as the time released pain killer was injected. "Love you. Quibble. Pants," She said in her sleep with a smile.
