One morning in a shop called Gems and Accessories,There was a yellow Earth Pony with Pink and Mint Green Mane named
Lariette Emeralds cleaning up her shop,she was waiting for her friends to come pick her up so they can go on that weekend
outing they've been planning.After she was done cleaning up,she went to her room to prepare.
Meanwhile in Cloudsdale,there were two Pegasus preparing themselves to go to an outing,they are both Lariette's friends,the female one is named Rain Feathers,the male one is named Windy,Windy was already finished everything he needed to do before leaving and is now waiting for his roommate Rain. "Hey Rain come on,don't want to keep Lari waiting!" he called out to Rain,Rain was up in her room brushing her mane,she put down the comb for a moment and replied to Windy "i'll be right down,just hold on a few more seconds!". Windy then simply replied a simple "ok" and waited. Rain soon came down and asked him "ready to go?" Windy replied a simple "yes" and they both flew downwards towards Ponyville
Meanwhile back down somewhere in Ponyville,there was a small clinic owned by a Lavender coloured Earth Pony named
Lavender Sunshine,She was just taking care of her last patient for the day before leaving and letting the next doctor take
charge,"Okay now young filly,Stay off that wing for about a week and you will be fine." Lavender told the young filly who
sprained her wing because she accidentally crashed into a tree and landed on her wing."thank you doctor!" said the filly.
Lavender opened the door and sign her telling her she can leave now,The filly left and Lavender got out her doctor coat and
prepared to leave,near the exit the nurse bid her goodbye as she leaves,"Have a pleasant day Doctor Lavender." said the
nurse. "You too Lovejoy." Said Lavender as she left and closed the door behind her.
At the local Library,Twilight Sparkle was rearranging her books neatly and accordingly to their sections,"Oh,History of
Equestria,that goes into history of course,The Ballad of..." and on and on she goes rearranging and re-shelving the books,
when suddenly spike came into the main Library room and showed Twilight a calendar. "Hey Twilight,i just noticed this here
on the calender,shouldn't you get going soon?" Twilight used her magic and levitated the Calender out of spike's hand and
flew it in front of her. 'Outing with Lariette and her friends' was written on the square of July 7th. " *gasp* oh no!,how could i
forget the invitation Lariette sent me! Spike! watch the Library while i'm gone okay?" Spike just let out a little giggle and said
"Sure thing Twilight,now just go on ahead and have fun,Lariette and the others are probably waiting" Twilight gasped again
and said "You're right Spike,See you!" as she opened the door with her magic and ran out of the Library while closing the door behind her.
Back at Lariette's shop,she was preparing five cups of Apple Juice because she was expecting her friend to come very soon and they were going to confirm the locations they were going to while walking around Ponyville. Somewhere in Ponyville Town Square Lavender was walking towards Lariette's house when she saw Twilight Sparkle, She called out to her and Twilight approached him. "Hello Twilight,Good to see you,shall we get going together then?" Twilight was a little bit tired from running because she thought she might have been late. She took a few breaths and replied "Yes,let's go".
Rain and Windy was very close to the ground,they wanted to land directly in front of Lariette's house but they saw Twilight and Lavender so they called to them from above and landed in front of them. "Looks like we're all here,now lets go to Lariette's shop." Said Windy to the whole group. Everypony nodded and they walked together to Lariette's house
Back at Lariette's shop,she heard a knock at her door, She went to open it and saw that all of her friends have came, "Welcome Everypony! come on in I've prepared Apple Juice for all of you." They all went in and Lariette closed the door, After they all sat down and got comfortable, Windy, As discussed, is the leader of the whole group so he explains their idea to the whole group all over again like they did last week. "Okay,so first we'll go to the park, Then we go to the Everfree Forest because Lavender wanted to do some research on them, And then we'll go to the Mountains to help Lariette collect some gems to restock her shop. Lastly we will then go back to Ponyville by Night time, Is this schedule good everypony?" They all just nodded in agreement. Windy then raised his hoof and said "Well then,lets get going!" They all left the shop, With Lariette being the last one to exit and locks the door behind her. They all walked towards the park.
At the park there were lots of ponies out in the park enjoying their day as well, Families,Group of Friends,even couple, all of them just enjoying the peaceful day. But despite all of this, somewhere a certain somepony was all alone and sad. She is a travelling Unicorn named Alouette Emeralds. Her sister left home when she was very young, She couldn't remember anything about her sister at all except for the name of her sister,Lariette Emeralds. Now she is travelling all over Equestria looking for her sister, Now Alouette is looking for her in a small town called Ponyville, Back at the park Windy and Rain was sitting alone together on a hill. "Today feels very great doesn't it Rain?" Rain was just sitting there being quiet, But when Windy asked her that she responded "H-huh? oh yes it does." Windy was curious as to why Rain's acting weird so he got closer and asked "Anything wrong Rain? just tell me i might be able to help." Rain tried not to look suspicious at all and replied calmly "No, nothing's wrong I'm just thinking about stuff." Windy believes her and offered a hoof and said "Come on,let's go meet up with the others." Rain actually has a crush on Windy but she's not ready to say it yet,she touched Windy's hoof and Windy pulled her up on her feet, They both walked towards the center of the park where they promised to regroup at.
Meanwhile somewhere else in park, Lariette and Lavender was sitting together on a park bench,they're talking about how each other's business was doing. "So Lavender, How was work today? not too many ponies came in i hope." Lavender gave a smile and replied "No, only one, A young filly Pegasus. She Crashed into a tree while flying and landed on her wing." Lariette was slightly shocked to hear it and said "Oh my,was it serious?" Lavender just gave another smile and said "No,she just sprained her wing a bit, It'll heal in about a week." Lariette was very relieved to hear that the young filly wasn't badly injured. Lavender looked at her and said "Well it's nice to know you care about others,how's business with you then?" Lariette looked at Lavender and said "Oh good,Famous ponies always come into my shop even though it's just a plain old shop." Lavender giggled a little and said "That's good to know, let's head back shall we?" Lariette shook her head and said "You go on ahead, I'm gonna stay here a little bit longer." Lavender got off the bench and stood up and said "Suit yourself,come meet us later then Lari." She walked away towards the center of the park leaving Lariette alone.
Just a few meters away from her,Lariette saw a pony whose colours looked just like hers,except darker. She approached Lariette and asked "Excuse me,miss? Do you know where is there a Jewel shop here?" Lariette got off the bench and stood up and said "Oh there's only one of those here, It's my shop. Do you need something?" The pony looked quite surprised and she instantly asked. "Miss, this is important, is you name...Lariette Emeralds?" Lariette was surprised as well because a pony she never met before knows her name so she asked "Y-yes i am, How do you know me?" The pony hugged Lariette,which caught her by surprise, The pony then said "Sis...it's me, Alouette, You remember me right?" Lariette then had a flashback, She remembered the baby sister she always cared for, but after she went travelling with Rain Feathers, She never did think of coming back to visit her parents and forgot about Alouette. "How could i have forgotten about my little sister all these years.." Lariette hugged Alouette back and they both cried a little "Of course i remember you, You're the one and only little baby sister that i have always cared for." they let go of each other and wiped their tears. Alouette had something she always wanted to tell her sister when she finds her, Now that she found her sister she told her "Guess what sis? i can do magic now." Lariette smiled and said "Haha, Really now. Show me some." Alouette readies herself and her horn started glowing. "Okay sis,if you insist." She casted a spell and a bright flashed occured, Blinding Lariette causing her to cover her eyes with her hooves. When she opened them, she saw..Herself. Alouette on the other hoof, Saw herself as well. Lariette panicked slightly and asked "Alouette what did you do?" Alouette tries to calm down and said "H-how did this happen? all i wanted to do was levitate you." Lariette let out a laugh and said. "It's okay I'm not angry or anything, It's just that i have friends waiting and i really have to go now." Alouette sighed and said "I'm sorry sis, I messed up." Lariette hugged her and said "It's okay, For now let's think about what we're going to do about this" They both sat there on the bench thinking on what to tell the others and how are they going to reverse it.
Lariette and Alouette are still racking their brains trying to figure out how to get their bodies back to normal. Then Alouette had an idea. "Hey sis, since you're a Unicorn now because you're...me. Why don't you try to cast that spell? it might switch us back."
Lariette thought it was a good idea as well and they tried it. Alouette told her how Unicorns do magic and Lariette tries it the same way, Another flash came like before but this time nothing happened. "Ouch, my head.. never thought casting spells can give you a really bad headache." They both sat down again and tries to think of even more ideas until Lariette heard Twilight and the others calling for her, She thought they were probably looking for her because she hasn't showed up yet. So she made a plan with Alouette. "Okay Alouette, You hang out with my friends and try to act like me as much as possible, Don't call anyone until you remember their names. I'll go back to Twilight's Library and ask spike if he can help me find a book that might have a way to reverse this, Okay?" Alouette nods and Lariette rushes off away from everyone until she is out of sight. Twilight and the others approached Alouette and asked "Okay Lariette, ready to go?" Alouette was worried because she did not know what are the names of any of the ponies so she tries to act like her sister as much as she can while learning their names. "Yeah anytime." They all walked towards the direction of the Everfree Forest. Meanwhile back in Ponyville. Lariette was running as fast as she can towards the Library, She walked up to the door and gave it a knock. "Who is it?" She heard a familiar voice, it was Spike's voice. "Spike is that you? it's me Lariette." Spike was surprised, The voice he heard wasn't Lariette's voice, Also Lariette was supposed to be away with the others. Knowing this he opened the door anyway. "Lariette weren't you supposed to be--" Spike was surprised, the pony in front of him wasn't Lariette at all, she has the same colour as Lariette except slightly darker. And she's a Unicorn instead of an Earth Pony. "You're not Lariette!" Lariette pushed Spike into the Library and closed the door really quick, She calmed Spike down and explained to him slowly and carefully what's going on. Spike then calmed down and believes the Unicorn that it was Lariette. "Spike can you help me find books about magics? any books at all." Spike and Lariette began to look around the Library for books that might help Lariette. Then he saw a good book that might just be useful to Lariette. "Hey Lariette! how about this one?" Lariette tries her best to use a levitation magic and it went smoothly, She reads the cover of the book, "Young Unicorn's Guide to Magic" was written on the book, Lariette spent a good 20 minutes reading the book and now she knows all the basic spells she would need, Levitation, Short-Distance Teleport and a horn Flashlight. They searched around for books that actually tells her how to reverse the spell but they had no luck. "Oh well thanks anyway Spike, I do have an idea though." Lariette opened the door and rushed towards the Everfree Forest, Spike still having no clue as to what Lariette's plan could be just went back to taking care of the Library. Meanwhile back at the Everfree Forest, The group spent helping Lavender studying all the plants there to see if any of them are good for making medicine, While Alouette listened in closely on their names as they searched, She at least now knows the names of each and every single one of them. Lavender was currently holding down a certain plant but she saw a sprout growing behind a tree that looks kind of similar to the one she's holding down, But everypony else was busy, Everypony except Alouette so she asked Alouette to go and get it for her. "Hey Lariette, can you help me a bit and get that plant behind that tree there for me?" Alouette knows Lavender was referring to her and went to pick the sprout for Lavender and gave it to her. Lavender mixed the sprout with the plant she was holding and studies it carefully. "I see, It gives you energy and makes you less sleepy, And it's even stronger than Coffee, This might be useful" Alouette is still hoping that her sister might have found a solution to their little problem because she doesn't know how much longer can she keep acting like Lariette. Meanwhile on the other side of the forest Lariette was running towards Zecora's hut. But as she was on her way she saw Zecora right by the side of the road and calls out to her. Zecora was quite surprised because a Unicorn she has never met before knows her name, Lariette explains to her what happened and she invited Lariette to her hut. Zecora explains to Lariette that she needs to get certain plants for Zecora so she can make the potion, But the location of the plants is what worries her. "But if i go there, then Alouette and the others will be there. Maybe i can get Alouette to secretly pick them up for me. Lariette gives Zecora a thanks in advance and told her that she will be right back with the plants. She left the hut and started walking towards the other side of the Everfree Forest hoping all her friends and Alouette are still there. Lariette finally reached the other side of the forest and noticed that Alouette and the others have left. She thought that they were probably headed for the mountain right now. So she gets herself busy looking for the plants Zecora mentioned as hard she could. Meanwhile up on the mountains. The group had just recently gotten there and they asked Alouette what kind of gems does she need. "So Lariette, what exactly are these gems that you need, i can use my spell to find them for you."Asked Twilight. Alouette was trying to think of something to say as soon as possible, Then she thought why not just say the easiest one to say. "Well i can't remember exactly what so lets just get all of it." Twilight then began casting the spell she learned from Rarity while her and the other Elements of Harmony was saving Rarity from the Diamond Dogs. She located a lot of gems pretty fast and they all got busy digging them up. Meanwhile Alouette was still planning on going with her sister's plan. ("After we go back to Ponyville Sis will switch us back with whatever it is she found and explain everything to them right?") So she just prepares herself to properly introduce herself to these ponies later. Back at the forest Lariette has already found all the plants she needed and came back to Zecora's hut. Zecora had recently finished making them and tells Lariette how to switch them back. "So basically Alouette drinks this while i cast the spell right? Thanks Zecora." Lariette then got out the hut and runs straight to Ponyville, She noticed that it was nighttime and had to hurry back because they are probably going to her shop and she just remembered she forgot to tell Alouette where the key is. And knowing Twilight she will keep making Alouette talk even though she honestly knows nothing. Meanwhile somewhere on the road from Ponyville to the Mountains, The group was still on their way but Rain told them she needs to do something first and asked them to wait. She dragged Windy along with her. "Ouch Rain what is it?" Rain was still nervous but she promised herself that she would do this today. "Actually Windy i... I love you, ever since we became roommates i've always loved you." Windy was surprised to hear that but Rain's heart was beating really really fast waiting for WIndy's answer. "Actually Rain...I've been in love with you too, Ever since the first moment i saw you." Rain was very happy and relieved to hear that and hugged Windy. "Let's go back to the others Rain, They might be worried." Rain nodded and they went back to the group and everypony walked back to town together. Lariette reached her shop and noticed that they haven't came back yet so she took the key which she hid inside the dirt in one of her Flower Vase next to her door and entered the shop. Soon after everypony was back in Ponyville and headed towards Lariette's gem shop. Rain went to open the door and noticed the door was unlocked. "That's weird. Lariette you usually lock your door right? i know this because i tend to always try to open your door because i was too hasty." Everypony then noticed that it was weird as well and rushed inside of Lariette's shop leaving Alouette outside, Alouette was worried. "Okay who are you and what are you doing in out friend's shop!" Yelled Rain and Windy at a Unicorn preparing some kind of drink in the shop. They both grabbed the Unicorn and holds her down. Alouette then entered the shop and asked them all to stop. "That's Lariette! I'm not Lariette!" they were all surprised to hear it and Rain asked the Unicorn she was holding down. "Is it true, You're Lariette?" Lariette nodded and both Rain and Windy got off her. Lariette and Alouette then carefully explained it all to them. "Then we were with your sister Alouette the whole time?" Asked Lavender. Lariette was surprised that they didn't know it was Alouette. "Wow Alouette, You haven't seen me in years yet you can still act like me that even my own friends can't tell the difference?" they all then shared a short laugh, Afterwards Lariette then did what Zecora told her to do and got their bodies to switch back. Alouette then properly introduced herself. "My name is Alouette Emeralds, and just like my Cutie Mark here, A small Emerald Ring shows, I am a Jewel accesory maker." Then Everypony introduced themselves to Alouette as well. Alouette was very happy to meet them all. "So Alouette, now that you've found Lariette what are you gonna do?" Alouette then answered them. "Well i was planning on staying with my sister, but first i guess i have to tell Mom and Dad." Lariette then came to Alouette and put a hoof over her shoulder and said. "In that case why don't we go together, I want to see how Mom and Dad are doing too. Leaving the shop for a couple of days won't hurt." Alouette agrees and everypony went home. The next day they all went to the Train Station to see Lariette and Alouette off. "Well see you two in a few days, Hope your parents are okay Lariette." Said Lavender to Lariette. Lariette nodded and then both her and Alouette got on the train. They both waved goodbye to their friends. to Lariette they were her closest friends but to Alouette, they'll be her new friends in Ponyville. "Hey sis, when we come back to Ponyville why don't you make a shop of your own in my shop? like an Accesory Making corner." Alouette was happy to hear that and she said yes. When they both reached their house. Alouette knocked on the door, Lariette was a little nervous. The door was opened by two ponies. The male one was green coloured, pretty much like Lariette's mane with a purple mane. The female one was yellow coloured like Lariette's body with a pink mane. they both hugged Lariette and Alouette smiled looking at her family finally being reunited. "Mother...Father...I'm back." They went inside and shared a wonderful story about Lariette's success in Ponyville and about Alouette's travels while looking for Lariette.

Hello, My name is Lariette Emeralds, And i am an Earth Pony, and i will tell you about my life, 15 years ago i was just a small little Filly, living with my Parents in Fillydelphia, We have no neighbours since my house is at the far end of the neighbourhood, while the house next to ours is unoccupied. 2 years later i was old enough to go to school, and at that time the house next to ours was occupied, they are a family of Pegasus, My mom told me they have a daughter about my age and that i might be good friends with her at school. the next day school started and i went to school. And the moment i got there i can already tell which one is my neighbour's daughter, She had colours that looks like her parents'. In class we sat next to each other, Class went by quietly, During recess i asked her if her name was the name of my neighbours' daughter's name, Rain Feathers. Her answer was yes and I introduced myself. we became very good friends. lets skip ahead to when I got my Cutie Mark, it was about a month since I started school. Me and my mother were shopping, whenever she was going to buy something I always interrupted her and told her to get some other ones, and then at this one shop she finally asked why do I keep interrupting her. suddenly the Shopkeeper came and said those products have gone bad. My mother was quiet surprised how I was able to tell the quality of the products. Even I do not know myself. At that time I also have a strange habit of picking up rocks and collect them. However they weren't just any random rocks, I pick rocks that has a pretty weird but beautiful shape. One day a travelling Pony walked by our house and noticed my collection, he asked if he can buy them for around 100 bits. We were surprised why would he want to pay that much for some plain rocks. He then asked me to try and wash them off. They were small but valuable pieces of jewelry! We sold it to him and when before i know it, I got my Cutie Mark. Small pieces of Emeralds. My mother told me it probably means I have an eye for quality since I can tell from good to bad products and even unconsciously identify jewels instead of plain rocks. 5 Years passed since then. I finished school and I now have a little sister, Her name is Alouette Emeralds, It's pretty funny how her colour is the same as mine, Except darker and her eye colours are reversed. I've always wanted to own my own shop when I was young. But since I graduated from school the local clinic gave me a job offer, it was a job for checking the qualities of their medicine. I would have gladly accepted even if it means abandoning my dream of opening my own shop, But there was another capable pony for the job so I declined the clinic's offer, A few days later it was time for me to travel a little, Looking for the perfect town to set up a shop that fits my special talent. Rain was going to Flight Academy in Cloudsdale, But since she can go there by flying from anywhere at all she insisted on following me so we travelled together. That's when we came to Ponyville, We were greeted by a rather happy-go-lucky pink Pony. We decided to stay for awhile so the Mayor gave us a little house to stay in for a few days. I wanted to learn what kind of Jewels could be found here though before I set out for another town, At least I thought i was going to go to another town. So we headed for the local Treehouse Library. On the way we saw a young Pegasus learning how to fly. but she failed and was failed down to the Earth. Then a Pegasus came and rescued the little Filly and put her down on the ground safely. We were very impressed and asked him for his name. his name was Windy and he was just going back to Flight Academy since he was done with his businesses in Ponyville. After he left Rain looked a bit nervous to me but I didn't let it bother me too much. we reached the Library, The Library was owned by a purple Unicorn named Twilight Sparkle and her assistant Spike, A dragon. I found the book I was looking for and told her I will return it next week. On the way I accidentally tripped myself and hurt my head. Rain thought it was serious and she picked me up and we flew all the way to the clinic. The doctor that was in charge at the time was Doctor Lavender Sunshine. She said it was nothing serious, I just landed on my head a bit too hard and got a slight headache. She gave me some painkillers and we went back home. A few days later, I've been thinking about making the house I'm staying in my own shop. I talked about it with the Mayor and she said she will give the house to me. But the things I need like a Counter and other items like that I'm going to have to get them myself. So I worked myself for a whole week and i had enough bits to buy me all the necessary things. I work by selling jewelries I found up on the local mountain to famous Ponies that visits the town from time to time. like the infamous Earth Pony Photo Finish. and so I finally had my own shop and Rain went to Cloudsdale and stayed in Flight Academy. Now it's the present, and that weird spell Alouette messed up on that we switched bodies. Haha those were good times. I'm still surprised that she's the only Unicorn in the family while the three of us were Earth Ponies though. After that time where me and Alouette went back home. my Parents' died of old age one week later. Alouette wouldn't stop crying for 4 days straight and I had to comfort her every few hours. Now it's been 2 months since our parents' death. Now me and Alouette are running the shop together. I sell jewelries to Ponies and if they wish, They can request that they're made into accessories, Alouette handles that part. So now we're both a Jewelry and a Crafting shop. as for Rain's parents. I hear they've moved to Cloudsdale. And that is my Life story. "Hey sis we have a customer." "Oh coming!" Well it seems I have to take care of my shop now. thank you for listening to my story.
