The girls continue their paths in life that leads them to university and adulthood, but something is amiss within their magical realms and a terrifying enemy approaches.

These first chapters re-introduce us to both Princess Twilight Sparkle's ponies and Sunset Shimmer's equestrian girls a few years down from the events of the Legend Of Camp Everfree.
People change and friendships grow stronger or are forgotten as adulthood approaches. But that's only part of the girls and ponies problems as an ancient evil as old as time threatens both universes, lucky for them they have the help of someone that was there since the beginning and has first hand experience with it all.

Life On Campus

Sunset Shimmer & Applejack's University shared dorm room

"Love summer mornings on campus." Sunset Shimmer looked out of her window as she opened the curtains to her dorm room.

"Ugh!!! Daylight!!!" Applejack hid under her covers. "Not again! Sunset Shimmer not everyone has classes!"

"Sorry AJ, need to remember you hate mornings!" Sunset Shimmer made a grimace as she realized this wasn't the first time this conversation had taken place.

Applejack sat up and reached over to her glasses and put her hair back into a ponytail.

"Sooo whats ya' day plan?" Grumbled Applejack as she rubbed her eyes from under her spectacles.

"Lessons as usual and then meet the guys at the cafe." Smiled Sunset. "Didn't think I'd end up with the most lessons this year...psychology sucks."

"Ya' got no pity here....you where warned, Twilight even made that chart." Laughed Applejack.

"No...not the chart again." Sunset slumped her shoulders a little as Applejack laughed.

"Sooo...no message from...." Applejack was interrupted by Sunset Shimmer's phone vibrating. "Eh never mind...guess it's earlier than ah thought....CURSE YOU SUNSET SHIMMER!!!!" Smiled Applejack putting both arms up in the air as she kneel on her bed.

"Hehehe, c'mon lazy bones I'm sure Flash is up already and on his way here..." Sunset grinned at Applejack who jumped out of bed.

"Naw ya talkin'." Smiled Applejack "Been looking forward to going to the Museum all week." Sunset smiled at Applejack's happy reaction.

"You two are perfect for each other you know...who woulda thought that a few years back." Sunset Shimmer made some coffee then sat at her desk.

"Ah sweety, one thing our life's has taught us is that friendship and love comes from where we least expect it." Smiled Applejack. "Remember how we met you Miss Demon?" Sunset smirked.

"Heh I've stopped trying to forget it now." Sunset laughed out loud. "But my dress did look pretty cool and powerful." She joked.

"Uhu, ya' still got that mean streak don'tcha worry, make sure ya don't forget that tonight at the game." Applejack smiled.

"You betcha, I've got this!" Sunset emulated their friend Gloriosa Daisy as Applejack looked at her with annoyance. "Hehe you love that don'tcha?" Smiled Sunset Shimmer as she prepped her book bag.

"Yeah oodles...." Applejack's face remained motionless. "Sooo, what Pinkie Pie say?" Applejack referred to the text from earlier.

"How did you know it was Pinkie Pie?" Sunset looked puzzled.

"Uhu yeah who else out of our group text each other on wake up?" Applejack smiled. "Twilight will be too busy with her usual OCD morning setup, Fluttershy is feeding her zoo, Rarity is probably still asleep and Dash is already in the gym."

"Hmm never thought about it." Sunset Shimmer puzzled for a bit. "She is just saying good morning...it's called been polite AJ." Sunset Shimmer playfully stuck her tongue out at Applejack.

"Hmm yeh it's called sumin' else." Applejack mumbled to herself with a smiled.

"Applejack...I can hear you...maybe there is something there...." Sunset Shimmer blushed. "Well I gotta get to class." Sunset walked towards the door. "Have fun you two...tell me all about it when I get back." She smiled.

"Ya bet ya we will." Applejack called back as Sunset Shimmer walked out the door.

Twilight Sparkle and Sonata Dusk's shared dorm room

"I'll talk to you two later, long lessons ahead, I'll see you at the cafe at break." Waved Twilight Sparkle as she walked out of her door.
Sonata Dusk sat at the coffee table with Spike.

"Annnnd relax..." Spike smiled as Sonata Dusk giggled.

"She is always such a hurricane." Sonata drank her coffee. "So what you wanna do today big guy?" She asked Spike. "And no squirrel chasing!" She quickly added.

"Awwww." Spike slumped then looked up from his bowl. "Frisbee & carrot cake afterwards?" He asked as Sonata grew a smile on her face.

"Now you're talking." She threw her half eaten doughnut at him to catch.

The Confession

Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy's shared dorm room

"Something smells good...Sunset's packed lunch?" Asked Fluttershy quietly as she walked into their dorm.

"Yeap!" Bounced Pinkie Pie as she finished the strawberry and Banana muffins. "Made ya some white chocolate ones too sweety." Fluttershy smiled and rushed to the breakfast table.

"So your cheerleaders got your routine down for the game tonight?" Asked Fluttershy as she took a bite of her warm muffin and a sip of her mocha. The table was in it's usual morning setup, perfect with delicious breakfast served and waiting for her when she got back from feeding the animals at the shelter. Fluttershy knew she had hit the jackpot when she got Pinkie Pie as her room mate, she loved Pinkie Pie's food and her hyper mornings never bothered her, plus Pinkie would need her more than ever this year.

"Yeap! I'm sure gonna get Sunset to run all touchdowns today!" Pinkie Pie squeaked as she released her pink curls from under her chefs hat, they sprang into action like loads of jack in the box toys before they calm down to rest down her back.

"Well Rainbow Dash seemed very confident yesterday...she said Sunset Shimmer has been awesome all week at practice." Fluttershy smiled as she finished her breakfast. "You better get going Sunset Shimmer is probably on her way to class already, I'll catch you at the cafe later."

"Got it. Do you think she will like these? they're a new recipe." Asked Pinkie Pie as she picked up the packed lunch.

"You made them....everyone will like them silly!" Smiled Fluttershy. "Now go!" She ordered as Pinkie Pie ran out the door at her usual full speed, then pop her head back into the room.

"Thanks roomy!" She winked and vanished out the door again.

Fluttershy smiled to herself and recalled how things had changed so much in the last year or so. First with Applejack and Flash Sentry was a big surprise at the Prom, but they where so perfect that it was impossible to remember them before they weren't a couple.
University had been a big change that loomed over them scarily, but they had all decided to stay together, their gift was too important to ignore. Rainbow Dash had put it best, they could do more together than separate in every aspect of their lives.

Their adventures in the past had made them a lot of friends that where now far from reach as they continued their paths to adulthood, but there were also a lot of them that remained close by.

Gloriosa Daisy and her brother Timber Spruce now owned the cafe that the Rainbooms spent most of their spare time at, this came in handy as Timber Spruce and Twilight Sparkle were inseparable since they met at camp two years ago. Sonata Dusk who had stood against them just over two years ago as a rival and enemy Siren was now Twilight Sparkles closest friend, she had parted ways from the other Sirens and joined the Rainbooms as their second singer after discovering her own magic with Twilight Sparkle's friendship.

Having two of their group in serious relationships took a little adapting too, but their partners knew what they were getting into before they agreed to date both Twilight Sparkle and Applejack, best of all both Timber Spruce and Flash Sentry fit into their group so well that it's strange to think that once their group was only the seven girls.

Fluttershy knew this year would either throw a huge rift in their group or make another unbreakable bond. She knew Pinkie Pie had unexpectedly fallen in love with Sunset Shimmer at some stage of their friendship. Pinkie Pie had told her very early on how she felt one night when Sunset Shimmer had inadvertently hurt her.

"She doesn't even know I exists!" Pinkie Pie cried as she ate the whipped cream straight from the can.

"Who are you talking about Pinkie, It was fun...everyone loved the party, we all told you as much..." Fluttershy seemed confused at Pinkie Pie's reaction. "Sunset Shimmer seemed over joyed when you invited Cheese Sandwich, she's had a crush on him for.....oh...wait you..." Fluttershy trailed away quietly.
Pinkie Pie looked up from her tears, her hair flat. "Pinkie Pie are you in love with Cheese...no wait....Sunset Shimmer!" She corrected fast as Pinkie Pie nodded her head and then ate more cream. "Oh honey...how long..."

"Since Prom night...she's the only person that takes me exactly for me...she sees past the crazy..." Pinkie Pie so far from her normal image that Fluttershy felt her heart crumble watching her friend despair like this.

"You need to say something...she doesn't know she's hurting you...she would never do that to you and you know it!" Fluttershy tried to speak up but her calm nature impeded her from loud noises.

That night clarified Pinkie Pie to Fluttershy, she had noticed how all of them had had their crushes and attractions to guys for a few years now and had been very open about it, all except Pinkie Pie, all she cared about was cooking and making her friends happy. All made sense now, she liked girls.

Having seen Pinkie Pie overcompensating around Sunset Shimmer it made perfect sense, she knew Applejack had suspicions and probably the rest of them too, but Sunset Shimmer seemed clueless about it. Thou it was obvious Sunset Shimmer was crazy about Pinkie Pie without knowing it, perhaps her own sexuality must have been stopping them from becoming more than friends, or maybe she was too afraid to accept it, or even what they would all say if she came out to them.

The Truth is Sunset Shimmer was their leader at the heart of the group, she didn't have the power Twilight Sparkle had, but unlike the Princess Twilight Sparkle from Ponyville, their Twilight lacked a powerful presence and had always relied on Sunset Shimmer for support.

By the end of High School they had all decided to study at Canterlot University together: Using their magic for the greater good, Fluttershy was going to be a vet while Twilight Sparkle was aiming at been a doctor. Sunset Shimmer decided to try and use her magic to be a good Psychiatrist and Pinkie Pie's love for food directed her towards studying how to be a chef. Rarity's love for fashion has never changed and she studies fashion while she already runs a very profitable clothing boutique. Rainbow Dash is the usual sport fanatic she has always been while she studies to become a Sports Teacher, Applejack loves her agriculture and is studying it in order to better take on the family farm later on.

Canterlot University Halls

"Gotcha breakfast!" Pinkie Pie's head popped from round a corridor right in front of Sunset Shimmer who didn't even flinch to it, instead she greeted her with a huge smile.

"I would ask how you always managed to float from entry points....but I know better by now." Smiled Sunset Shimmer.

"Yeap! It's your favorite but with a twist." Smiled Pinkie Pie as she blushed a bit, Sunset caught it and raised an eyebrow.

"Oh..you're not too confident on these?" She asked Pinkie Pie a little concern with her behavior.

"No...not at all...just hoping I don't ruin your favorite recipe..." Pinkie Pie stumbled out of character. Sunset Shimmer heard Pinkie Pie's mind get all flustered inside her head. "ohmygodohmygodohmygod get a grip Pinkie!" Pinkie Pie nervously speed talked in her head as she handed over the lunch bag. Sunset Shimmer found Pinkie Pie's out of character actions incredibly adorable, but it had been going on a little too long and she had decided to finally talk it out with Pinkie Pie today.

"Okay Pinkie listen..." Sunset Shimmer took a deep breath as she took her lunch gently from Pinkie Pie's hand. "I don't know what or when I did something to get this affection from you...but we should talk about it." She said beaming confidence as always.

"Erm...you...I...er...I mean...what do youuu mean?" Pinkie Pie was completely caught of guard and her hands began to glow pink with magic as she started freaking out, Sunset jumped on it before she made it worse and moved closer to her.

"No no no...that came out wrong...." She stammered for once and Pinkie Pie saw it too and relaxed before realizing Sunset Shimmer had grasped her hands in hers.

"Oh?" She short breathed with relieve. "You mean....you knew all this time and didn't say anything!" She blushed.

"Erm I read minds silly....you've been courting me telepathically for months now..." Sunset Shimmer smiled.

"Longer actually...." She looked up shyly to Sunset Shimmers surprise.

"Oh...hmm guess you started slipping lately then." Sunset Shimmer winked "Don't worry our conversation is only to talk about what we are gonna tell the guys now that we are dating." She smiled as Pinkie Pie raised both eyebrows in glad relief. "I've had feelings for you for a while now....so what i'm trying to say is...thank you, I'm sorry I took this long to say anything...i'm just worried about the other guys and how they will react...you know...with us been more than friends."

"You mean...you...want to be my girlfriend?" Pinkie Pie beamed.

"Dunno what you wanna call it, you're the first girl I've had feelings for..." shyly smiled Sunset Shimmer. "Try to relax your mind I can hear you screaming right now..." She said as she caressed Pinkie Pie's cheek to relax her. "But I know I want to be with you as more than a friend." She leaned over to Pinkie and kissed her forehead gently. "Talk to you later okay?" She said as she tried to play it cool and walked off towards her classroom leaving a dreamy Pinkie Pie stood in a happy daze. Sunset Shimmer turned the corridor corner out of Pinkie Pie's view and jumped in place with glee as she couldn't believe what she had just pulled off. Meanwhile Pinkie Pie stood impossibly still while her hands reached her pocket and took her phone out, she dialed something without looking then brought the phone to her ear with as little movement as possible.

"FLUTTERSHY!!!!!OHMYGOD!!" She squealed into the phone as Fluttershy answered quietly.
Sunset Shimmer heard her new girlfriend's voice travel down the corridor with joy and knew everything would be okay now, they both stood in the light to each other, having discovered Pinkie Pie's thoughts with magic was a shock and she felt like she had cheated Pinkie Pie of confessing her feelings to her, but also had given her enough time to say something and had to take the initiative in the end. It had been strange been courted by Pinkie Pie for the last few months in small to large hidden gestures, while Pinkie Pie never said anything out loud to her, Sunset's magic would always hear Pinkie Pie's most powerful thoughts project inside her mind.
They where both cute and sometimes produced different feelings that they would now be able to explore together.

At First Sunset Shimmer had been confused to Pinkie Pie's behavior, that only lasted for less than a day. She had always loved Pinkie Pie the most out of her group of friends, her wacky random behavior was never a surprise to her and she could see straight through her actions as big acts of affection to her friends and lately mainly to her. The first time she heard Pinkie Pie have sexual thoughts towards her was a little shocking.

"Hey Applejack..." Sunset Shimmer talked into her phone before she walked into her classroom. "Guess I'm gay then...yeah Pinkie Pie...you already knew that thou...so...er, talk later." She smiled at Applejack's squeak of joy as she hung up. Applejack looked at Flash and did a fist pumping motion.

"GO Pinkie Pie GO!" She shouted as Flash Sentry smiled.

"About time...jeesh." He handed Applejack a latte. "It's been kinda nerve breaking all this time...really didn't wanna see a depressed Pinkie Pie..." He shuddered. "Or an angry Sunset Shimmer." He double shuddered to that thought.

"Only happened twice before...it's not a nice image." Applejack's face dropped to a grimace as the memory would always be fresh. "And as for Sunset Shimmer's anger goes...I never want to see that again."

Sunset Shimmer's thoughts where racing so much in class she couldn't concentrate on anything but what it would be like to walk into the cafe at lunch holding hands with Pinkie Pie...and maybe even kiss! She had been writing into her magical journal all lesson, communicating with Princess Twilight Sparkle from Ponyville.

"So yeah...the first time was at the beach a few months back...she wondered how I would feel against her body in the heat, that's before she drifted into thinking of ice cream...." Sunset wrote as she smiled to herself.

"LoL, Aww Pinkie Pie is so strange even on this aspect of her life." The words materialized into the journal under Sunset Shimmer's paragraph. "What about you...when did you know you wanted to be with her?"

"Erm...well Pinkie has been courting me a lot longer than I thought, which explains a lot now. But my first attraction thoughts where the next day after she let that one slip...we were at the beach too and she had ice cream on her cheek and I cleaned it, I heard her mind nearly blow up when I touched her and instantly set off my mind to think what would it be like to kiss her there and then...I guess i really liked how she saw me." She wrote a little shaky at the thought.

"Well...I guess now you'll find out, I'm gonna be coming to your game tonight so I'll talk to you after you win...go team!...but on a more serious note, I also I need to talk to you about a new pony that has to come over the portal...it's a pretty big deal...but I won't distract you with it for now." Princess Twilight wrote.
A new pony? thought Sunset Shimmer, this would have to be serious for Princess Twilight to want to talk about it.

"That's pretty vague..." Wrote Sunset Shimmer.

"It's pretty serious and you're going to need him for what's coming." Princess Twilight's writing suddenly seemed to have resolve. "But for now, please let's just enjoy the good news of you two and the soon to be winning after party."

Author's Notes:

I decided on using Fluttershy on a story vehicle since her beautiful character would be the easiest to see daydreaming past events the most. As for the reason I used Pinkie Pie and Sunset Shimmer as a couple is from seeing their interaction in the last movie the Legend of Everfree, Sunset seems at easy around Pinkie Pie's craziness then most. :) Sunset strength and Pinkie's randomness would be a fun mix.

The Reveal

Cafe Everfree

"I'm sooooo prepped for this game, I think I can hit any pass I get my hands on!" Rainbow Dash said excitedly. Rarity sat quietly as she let Dash unload her usual pre-game rants.

"Well I'm glad to hear it darlin', but your team hasn't lost a single game since you and Sunset Shimmer joined it." Rarity smiled. "And that's without using magic!"

"Well, we are that awesome we don't need magic to win." Smiled Rainbow Dash.

"Try not to get to banged up tonight, we have rehearsal tomorrow fer the summer festival." Applejack added as she rested her head on Flash's shoulder.

"Yeah that reminds me guys, I got you another festival slot if you're interested, I'll give you more details on it at rehearsal tomorrow." Flash brushed Applejack's hair of her cheek.

"Well all I can say is you're doing an amazing job as our manager Flash." Twilight Sparkle added as she gave Spike a dog biscuit.

"Can I get anyone anything else?" Asked Sonata Dusk as she stood up to go to the ordering booth.

"Yeah i'll take a mocha please buddy." Said Spike as he looked up from his chair to Sonata.

"Sure thing." Sonata made her way to the booth, then suddenly stopped in her tracks. "Hey you! I nearly...No! no coffee for you!" Sonata looked terrified at the thought of Spike on coffee again, Spike laughed cheekily as he looked at Timber Spruce.

"Seriously Spike, that was so close this time..." Smiled Timber Spruce as he fist bumped Spike's paw.

"Yeah...she isn't the sharpest of our girls...but you gotta love her for it." Spike smiled as he watched Sonata Dusk trip on a slightly raised tile.

"There she goes again..." Smiled Rarity as Sonata composed herself quickly and slightly turned her gaze to see if anyone had noticed her tumble. "The poor darling...its hard to believe she was ever with those awful Sirens." Recalled Rarity.

"So by the sounds coming from your table by Dash...I'd say you guys are confident for tonight...as always." Gloriosa appeared from the kitchen and leaned over Twilight Sparkle to take a bite out of her cookie. "Thanks sis." She winked.

"Hey...you can get these for free you know...." Smiled Twilight Sparkle as she took her cookie back.

"Erm...those were free Twilight." Said Sunset Shimmer as her and Pinkie Pie joined the group, both holding hands and their body language very much that of a new couple, with Pinkie leaning on Sunset a little.

"Oh hey guys....wait!" Said Rainbow Dash "You mean you guys finally...got together!" She said overjoyed.

"Erm yeah...wait what?...we were just about to tell you guys...." Started Sunset Shimmer as Pinkie Pie slightly hid behind her shoulder.

"Oh wonderful darlings! you two look adorable together!" Added Rarity as she gave both of them a hug.

"Pinkie Pie is it just me or does everyone know about us?" Sunset Shimmer turned to her girlfriend.

"Erm you don't have to be psychic to see you two have been doting after each other for the last few months." Twilight Sparkle smiled as she leaned her head on Timber. "It seemed one way from Pinkie Pie's side at first...but lately..." She smiled.

"You guys are perfect for each other..." Smiled Spike.

"Yeah...like...I mean Pinkie Pie is like totally crazy and Sunset Shimmer has the most patience and resilience in like...the whole world." Sonata sounded off hazily as always.

"Erm..." Sunset Shimmer looked up at her amused. "Thanks?...I think." She managed.

"YEAH THAT'S RIGHT!" Bounced Pinkie Pie as she turned to Sunset Shimmer "I'll get your drink...honey." She blushed but bounced off. Sunset Shimmer loved how Pinkie Pie would know exactly what to come back with, and she felt warm and fuzzy at been called honey by her. She followed Pinkie Pie with her gaze and couldn't believe how lucky she was her first girlfriend was so beautiful.

"Awww...that's so adorable!" Said Rarity as she watched their interactions. "You look so smitten with her when you are not hiding it."

"Oh c'mon Rarity!" Sunset Shimmer grabbed a couple of chairs. "But I guess you're right....this feels much...more natural than pretending to just be best friends." She sat down.

"Hehe...well you two have pretty much been a item for the last couple of months, ya know." Added Fluttershy quietly beaming at Sunset Shimmer who still seemed a little nervous.

"I'm so glad you guys are okay with us...I wont lie, I've been freaking out a little since I started been attracted to her." Sunset Shimmer relaxed back on her chair.

10 Minutes earlier

"Hey you..." Sunset Shimmer walked up the waiting Pinkie Pie who stood outside the Everfree Cafe.

"Hey...Sunset...so erm...." Pinkie Pie was knocked out of character again.

"Oh c'mon Pinkie Pie it's just me...you don't have to freak out when I talk to you, I made my feelings clear...you don't have to hide it anymore...and neither do I." Sunset Shimmer tried to get her usual Pinkie Pie back. "Will this help you relax a little?" She leaned forward and kissed her, Pinkie Pie kissed her back and a few seconds later they gently released their first kiss and Pinkie Pie was back to her normal self.

"Wow...that's...well wow." Said Sunset Shimmer who now tried to compose herself as she ponied up, her pony ears and tail glowing brightly.
"That's new." She felt her pony ears and looked at her ponytail.

"Wow yourself Miss Shimmer." Smiled a ponied up Pinkie Pie as she slightly bounced on the spot. "Shall we?" She asked as she opened the door for Sunset Shimmer.

"Yeah but together." Sunset Shimmer held out her hand and Pinkie Pie took it and wrapped herself around Sunset's arm.

"Too much?" She asked as Sunset Shimmer happily looked at her.

"Not at all....not at all." She smiled back at her partner.

Stone Hammer

A couple of days ago in Ponyville.

"Welcome to the Ice Garden Maximum Security Prison." Shinning Armour walked down a ice blue corridor, it was freezing and reflections where everywhere. Princess Twilight alongside her team of Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy walked right behind Shinning Armour. Princess Twilight could feel her hoofs freezing if they stood still for too long.

"Why is he here?" Asked Fluttershy.

"Yeah isn't he supposed to be a hero of legend..." Pinkie Pie skipped along behind the group.

"Erm...it's complicated..." Shinning Armour explained. "You see...he has been in a form of stasis all this time..."

"WHAT! That's nearly a forty thousand years ago...how is that possible!?" Blurted Princess Twilight. "I mean...waking him up would either bring him into a nightmare or simply leave him completely lost." She explained.

"Beats me...but it get's worse.." Shinning Armour continued as they began to approach a huge jet black door. "You see Stone Hammer's power is unstable, his energy creates explosions every few hours, he is kept in a especially designed chamber....if he were to detonate in a crowded area, the damage would be catastrophic."

"Stone Hammer? now that is a scary sounding name!" Pinkie Pie pulled a zombie face.

"As I was saying...Princess Luna has had a vision that a Titan will return soon to try and destroy our world and the world your friends belong to Twilight...we don't have any information why this is going to happen as of yet, but we need both your team and Sunset Shimmer's to fight on both sides of this war." He stopped at the black door.

"War!?" Rarity could taste the word in her muzzle, it was horrible. "Ugh I hate the word, darling."

"A TITAN!" Pinkie Pie responded. "I don't actually know what that is..." She leaned over to Fluttershy.

"A Titan is one of two ancient beings of creation...their defeat is what brought the cataclysm that created Discord and most of our magic." Princess Twilight explained as usual. "Wait...we are about to meet Stone Hammer now!?" She turned to Shinning Armour.

"Not yet you're not, and even when you do it will only be for a few hours at the max." He answered. "We need to get him to the portal as soon as possible, Princess Celestia thinks that his unstable energy will cease once he crosses over."

"Makes sense, but won't we need him here?" Asked Applejack.

"Not as much as he is needed across the portal. We have Princess Celestia, Luna and Cadence. Not to mention Discord and other royals that will come to help if needed." He finalized.

"Wow, will it really get to that stage!?" Rainbow Dash looked a little unsettled.

"You need to understand...this Pony belongs to a time when the cataclysm that created our magic and changed our world occurred...as a matter of fact theories say his defeat of the Titans is what created the cataclysm." Shinning Armour was fascinated with what he was saying.

"I will see Sunset Shimmer and the rest of the girls soon and explain to them as much as I can about Stone Hammer, but their world is very different to ours. I don't know how they will have to deal with all this." Princess Twilight as she looked at her team.

"Well all this sounds scary to us, imagine what it will sound like to them." Fluttershy added as she looked at Princess Twilight.

"Yeah i'm getting freaked just listening to it here." Pinkie Pie stopped bouncing for just a sec.

"Guys back to the impending apocalypse please." Shinning Armour took control of the conversation once again.

"We are far from the portal here Big brother...how are we going to get Stone Hammer to it in time between explosions?" Princess Twilight looked at Shinning Armour.

"That's were our first ally will come in handy." He smiled. "Fluttershy, you know him best so make sure tomorrow night he is on board as much as he can be."

"Oh no....no no no...we have to trust Discord with a powerful weapon like Stone Hammer as such!" Said Applejack.

"I'm sure he will be fine!" Defended Fluttershy. "I will try my best to keep him in check...I guess as much as Discord can be kept in check...." She shied away.

"Good enough for me, for now let's just take a look inside so you see what kind of pony we are dealing with." Shinning Armour magically opened the door and slowly walked in.

Inside there was a huge shire horse, standing a whole head above Shinning Armour, his skin was earth colored stone and his mane beautiful long green grass, his eyes both closed and obviously in some sort of stasis, many scars on his chest and back and down one eye. He was obviously war torn, the Pony's had never seen anything like it.

"Wow...he's amazing...Ah mean he looks like some sort of...well...legend ah guess." Said Applejack as she entered the room and stayed close to the rest of them.

Stone Hammer stood perfectly still as the incantation to awake him needed to be chanted in order to revive him. The room was empty and obviously had been scorched many times over.

"Tomorrow we will wake him and explain everything as fast as possible before Discord takes him to the portal. Please make sure Sunset Shimmer knows what's coming her way." Explained Shinning Armour

"How will he react...everything he knows doesn't exist." Said Fluttershy.

"He will respond to Princess Celestia's Royal bloodline." Explained Shinning Armour. "He is bound by it."

"I will fly back now and meet the girls to explain to them whats going on." Princess Twilight concluded. "Let's hope Stone Hammer has some good manners to deal with the the world of Canterlot University."

Awake

Back to now and its 18:45 at the Canterlot University Football Grounds.

"I knew they had this in the bag!" Shouted Flash as he ate his hot dog and watched the game, Canterlot University was up by 28 to 10 in the last few minutes.

"Well Sunset Shimmer and Rainbow Dash are on fire." Timber Spruce added.

"Yep, and looking at Pinkie Pie and her cheerleaders, they are really going all out." Smiled Rarity as she looked towards the cheerleaders squad that was twice as loud as the visitors and Pinkie Pie had ponied up, creating pink explosions in the air while the other cheerleaders where trying to figure out how the trick was done.

"Hehehe I bet they don't see that everyday." Applejack laughed.

"Bring on the after party!" Shouted Gloriosa as she whistled watching Rainbow Dash throw a touchdown pass. The crowd went nuts.

Canterlot Wondercolts Fraternity House.

"I'm sorry I have to talk to you guys about this right now...but it's more serious than I previously stated." Ponyville Twilight Sparkle said as she looked at her circle of friends in the living room of Flash's fraternity house.

"C'mon Twilight don't worry about it, just give it to us straight..." Sunset Shimmer responded.

"Well Sunset, I know you'll have knowledge of this...I'm mainly trying to keep everyone else calm." She explained a little flustered.
"Okay darling, now you're starting to worry me." Said Rarity as she adjusted her seating.

"It's about the pony coming over to help you....his name is Stone Hammer...." Princess Twilight paused to see Sunset Shimmer's reaction.

"Stone Hammer...." She froze for a second. "You mean THE Stone Hammer, as in the Destroyer of Titans...That Stone Hammer!?" Sunset Shimmer proved to Princess Twilight that she had been more than deserving the title of Princess Celestia's most priced pupil... to be honest Princess Twilight had always thought of Sunset Shimmer as a better student than her.

"Yes...and I can tell you now...he is a site to behold in our world....he is..." Princess Twilight was interrupted by Pinkie Pie.

"Reallyreally tall, made of stone and has a green grass mane...massive explosive energies emanate from him in cycles and he is incredibly dangerous." Pinkie Pie speed talked as everyone looked at her awestruck and confused.

"Pinkie Pie I don't...." Rainbow Dash started but Princess Twilight added. "No that's about right." Sunset Shimmer leaned over and kissed Pinkie Pie's cheek.

"I'll never get over how you do that honey..." Smiled Sunset Shimmer as Pinkie Pie seemed pleased with herself.

"Do what?" Pinkie Pie said distracted.

"He is unstable in our world, but Princess Celestia thinks once he crosses over to your world, the laws of magic will cure him...since magic requires a specific catalyst in order to work here." Explained Princess Twilight.

"Ah yes, that makes perfect sense...like us, he would have to find what makes him create magic in order to project it." Said Twilight Sparkle.

"Exactly...but since he is from a different stage of our evolution we don't..." Princess Twilight continued.

"...Know what he will look like once he crosses over...." Twilight Sparkle added excited.

"Erm...sweety, can you guys stop double teaming an explanation please...its getting creepy again..." Timber Spruce smiled at his Twilight Sparkle who blushed.

"Oh...sorry hehe...please Princess continue." Said Twilight Sparkle as she sat back on her chair.

"Hehehe thanks....it does still feel a little strange when we sync." Said Princess Twilight as she continued. "Well anyways...he is a huge difference from us, stands nearly a whole head above Shinning Armour...and he is considered tall by our standards....the difference in his skin and hair is also worrying coming over the portal." She added.

"Hmm...well I guess we will have to wait and see." Added Sunset Shimmer.

Equestria Ice Garden Prison next day.

"Okay Discord please be ready to teleport us to Princess Twilight's portal." Fluttershy told Discord as he stood next to her in his usual happy unpredictable state.

"You can trust me this time Fluttershy...I am actually looking forwards to this more than anything in a long long time." He said as she rubbed his hands together.

They all stood outside the black door for a while now, suddenly the whole castle shook for around fifteen seconds, the air became heave and it felt like all the happiness had been taken from the world.

"What was that!?" Asked Applejack. "I've never felt so sad in my life." she looked at Shinning Armour.

"That was our cue to move in!" He ordered as he opened the door and began to chant an incantation, within seconds Stone Hammer shuddered and looked straight at Shinning Armour with a menacing look, his eyes solid jade.

"If you got a plan...use it now or he's gonna kill you." Discord smiled but was also a little taken aback by Stone Hammer who stamped his right hoof twice.

"Who are ye small...ponies?" He boomed. "Ye stand face to face with the Throne Of Elements Leader! Speak before I make you regret capturing me!" He took a step forwards.

"Mighty Stone Hammer, I am Shinning Armour leader of Princess Celestia's Royal Honor guard." He held a piece of parchment up with magic and made it move towards Stone Hammer. "This has the Royal Symbol on it...Shinning Armour it is an honor to meet and Royal Guard." He boomed and bowed slightly.

"You honor me Shaman." Replied Shinning Armour. "But we must move fast, your final fight with the Titans left you injured and you cannot control your power." Stone Hammer raised his eyebrows.

"Where we triumphant? Where is my team...is Diamond Razor okay..." Stone Hammer looked a little vulnerable for just an instance.

"Team?...no Shaman...there is no one left but you...we never found anypony else." Shinning Armour tried to explain.

"What?...why are ye so small...what elements does thou live by..." Stone Hammer seemed to be getting more confused by the minute.

"Sir..." Fluttershy walked up to him from behind Shinning Armour. "I'm Fluttershy....and you have been asleep for over forty thousand years, sir...we have very little history of you and until just now only knew of yourself and the Titans to be involved in the great Cataclysm. Please come with us and we will explain as much as we can once you're in a safe place." She said gently. "Princess Twilight will be honored to get you up to speed."

"Ah...a life elemental...your presence is soothing child, and your words always be true." He look down at the terrified Fluttershy. "I will agree with ye...I can feel one's power is unstable, so I will follow ye lead to safety."

"Guess it's my turn to shine." Discord stepped forwards to be met by Stone Hammer's piercing gaze.

"What manner of creature be ye!" Stone Hammer looked at Discord confused. "One can see the power emanating from your aura...it's old magic."

"Yes, well I belong to your world...I guess you could say you created me..." Discord smiled.

"One has no knowledge of creating such a abomination...but One will cure you of your instabilities." Said Stone Hammer as he shot ray of green life magic to Discord and within a second Discord was a full fledged dragon, all his parts the same dark grey.

"Oh wow..." Fluttershy looked taken aback as Discord looked at himself and squealed a little out of character.

"Well that isn't natural..." Snickered Rarity.

"Is it me or does Discord look stranger like this than before." Rainbow Dash joked.

"Mr Hammer!...please return my friend to what he looked like before!" Fluttershy stepped in and puffed herself up trying to be brave.

"Of course child...." Stone Hammer seemed confused. "One was merely trying to help the deformed beast." He changed Discord back to his usual disjointed...whatever he was.

"Thank you Shaman!" Discord bowed quickly. "I will know perform a teleportation ritual to safety."

"Ye may continue you poor deformed creature." Stone Hammer said as Rainbow Dash and Rarity snickered.

"Erm...Discord will do fine thank you Shaman." Discord announced politely and offended.

"Once we go through this portal you will need to take a different portal to see our Princess Twilight Sparkle...she will explain why we woke you." Explained Shinning Armour.

"The Titans have returned...this would be the only rational explanation, one is ready to do whatever my Royal Highness expect from me...my life is his." He said as a matter of fact.

"She's a her..." Said Pinkie Pie as she popped out from behind the group.

"As it may be...time has passed...and one accepts that everything has changed." He looked so strong with resolve. "A laughter sprite...this is a strange team that greets me today." He looked around.

"What do you mean?" Applejack stepped forwards confused.

"Ye all belong to bloodlines of both one's Shaman brothers and sisters and the royals themselves....yet ye seem surprise by one's statement." He looked at Applejack.

"Well ye be a fellow shaman...an earth elemental." He looked at a glad Applejack then he turned to Rainbow Dash. "A wind elemental..." Rainbow Dash smiled proudly.

"Makes perfect sense...I'am awesomely fast." Rainbow Dash flew in a quick circle.

"Aye ye be fast...also not modest at all." Smiled Stone Hammer as Rainbow Dash deflated a little with a giggle. "Ye...young dame be a crystal sprite..." He looked at Rarity who blushed a little.

"Oh my...what a sweet talker." Rarity smiled at Rainbow Dash.

"But enough pleasantries all...we must move along and be on our way..." Smiled Discord and summoned the portal that teleported them all to Princess Twilight's laboratory.

Princess Twilight's Laboratory at the Castle of Friendship

"Thou have Impressive magic Discord...." Stone Hammer stepped forwards after their arrival.

"Welcome Mighty Shaman." Princess Celestia stood in wait next to the portal, she was next to Princess Luna.

"Highness, ye honor this lowly Shaman." He took a full bow, Princess Celestia was taken back by his appearance, but Princess Luna remained calm.

"Lowly!?" Princess Celestia lost track of thought having their savior be so humble.

"The honor is ours Mighty Shaman." Princess Luna intervened "Allow me to be the bearer of bad news." She stepped towards him and he continued to keep his gaze to the ground as Princess Luna walked around him examining the huge earthen shire horse. "As you can see, our world is very different from your own, please allow one to thank ye for thous sacrifice in the Titans war." Stone Hammer spoke up gently with his gaze to the ground.

"Your Highness does not need to thank one for performing one's duty...but truth be told one did not act alone, a team of Shaman involved Diamond Razor, Steel Gazer, Ice Skyrunner and Thunder Sparkle...which I realize never survived the battle..." He's voice slightly quivered, then he stood up and tall. "Which brings one to simply say....order anything ye highness's require and one will fight till ones dying breath...one's life is yours." All the ponies present felt a chill in the air as this legend stood tall, proud and focused on nothing but his duty.

"Wow...legends just don't do him justice." Whispered Shinning Armour to Applejack.

"Indeed partner...he is just so..." Applejack was interrupted by Fluttershy. "Selfless." She said as she wiped tears from her eyes.

"This portal leads to another world...they walk with two legs and magic doesn't exist apart from we take from here." Princess Celestia spoke and approached Stone Hammer who once again bowed.

"The Human realm....it is my domain...I am the outsider here your highness..." He spoke to everyone's shock. "One was called to this realm to help one's fellow Shaman stop the Titans before...If ye have protectors half as brave as one's fellow deceased, then thou stand a chance."

"You are from the human realm!" Pinkie Pie appeared behind Stone Hammer.

"Yes young one...I'm sure it has all changed...but the species that lived there before was violent and one with nature...they showed so much promise." He added.

"They are now much changed, and technology rules their world. I wish you all the luck I can, please help us save our worlds...Princess Twilight awaits you there with her team that is lead by an outcast from our realm named Sunset Shimmer...a fallen mare who was more than redeemed herself." Princess Celestia stood close to Stone Hammer.

"I go with your blessings your highness..." He stood tall and then walked through the portal.

"Wow..." Princess Luna walked up to Princess Celestia.

"Yeah that was absolutely amazing." Princess Celestia felt like a little girl. "To unleash the power of a legend, and find out he belongs to another world to begin with."
"After all is said and done we need to rediscover what happened in his battle to better describe it and honor the rest of the Shaman involved in it." Shinning Armour stepped forward.

"And also ask him what he meant by other realms." Said Princess Celestia.

Canterlot High School portal to Equestria.

"He should be here any...." Princess Twilight was interrupted as the portal came to life.
Slender strong legs advance forwards and a young girl stepped out, her hair was made of beautiful green grass and her skin brown rock, she wore a earth colored short vest and a beautiful green grass skirt. She had flower arrangements all over her hair and a huge scar down her left eye.

"Hello?" Princess Twilight looked at her confused. The girl stretched her back and arms, she was muscular and tall, the concrete floor around her feet had cracked and grass and flowers grew out of it. Her eyes where bright jade and she looked all around her then bent down to the ground a picked up some soil and gently smelt it.

"One...is...home." She said and then looked up to see the group of girls awaiting him.

"Stone Hammer?" Questioned Sunset Shimmer as she walked forwards.

"An unknown elemental...on earth? Ye must be the outcast her highness mentioned...Sunset Shimmer." She walked towards her and the ground cracked to make brand new grass and flowers.

"Outcast?" Pinkie Pie cling to Sunset Shimmer's arm. "Oh you rebel, you." She smiled at a Sunset Shimmer and brought a smirk from Sunset serious face.

"Mighty Shaman." Princess Twilight tried to get her attention, Stone Hammer stopped in her tracks and turned to her.

"One does not recognize ye magic...it be new...but one can see ye be royalty." She took a knee quickly and then raised again. "One welcomes ye to thy realm." She gestured around her.

"You're realm?" Sunset Shimmer repeated confused. "But you are a girl...we thought..." But Stone Hammer interfered.

"One was only male in Equestria, and it was a strange experience." She smiled. "But then again, one was a horse."

"I love how you talk!!" Pinkie Pie appeared behind her.

"By the realms...this species have changed...and one feels very short all of the sudden." Stone Hammer looked around herself. "This laughter sprite one has already met...ye be Pinkie Pie." She chuckled a little. "How different ye look, but the hair remains the same." She said as she reached for Pinkie Pie's curls. "One...no I... feel under control...your highness." She turned to Princess Twilight and tried to blend her language a little. "Let's get to work." She ordered Sunset Shimmer. "Who be your team....." She stopped and looked at the girls carefully. "We have all met before..." She was confused. "Did all of ye come through the portal with me?"

"No shaman, these are their counterparts." Smiled Sunset Shimmer. "Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. You already met Pinkie Pie who's standing behind you."

"Realms! that's a lot to take in at once." She rubbed her forehead.

"Stone Hammer is there anyway you can stop doing that?" Asked Rainbow Dash as she pointed towards Stone Hammer's feet and the wild nature that grew around them. "It might be a problem if we do it around campus." She smiled.

"No problem...I can control everything in my realm...Rainbow Dash." She slightly elevated and then spun on her heel to be dressed as a shaman once again, a long earthen hooded robe and barefooted.

"Wow I need to learn how to do that." Princess Twilight smiled.

The Realm Watchers

Afternoon at Cafe Everfree

"So...try this." Pinkie Pie gave Stone Hammer a hot chocolate with a extra whipped cream.

"Thank you, Pinkie Pie." She smiled as she looked at all of them who sat watching her with interest. "Is there anything ye like to ask me?" She smiled.

"Erm...you seem very calm for someone that has just woken up, traveled between worlds and changed shape." Rainbow Dash explained. "Just worried you are gonna randomly explode...not in a literal way...thou the thought cross my mind." She puzzled.

"I am a watcher of realms and shaman of the throne of elements, last time I watched over the earth...humans where a very young species...I may have never walked among you as you're now...but I wasn't born a Watcher." Stone Hammer recalled. "One was born a very similar species to you...just less evolved and much stronger. This is new to me but one take life one step at a time." She smiled.

"You know I can hear you trying to adapt your language to us...you don't have to do that." Smiled Sunset Shimmer as she placed her hand on Pinkie Pie's lap.

"I would like to...adapting is part of life." She smiled and leaned over to the roses on the table and rejuvenated them with a simple touch.

"That's beautiful...." Fluttershy beamed as Stone Hammer looked at her a little confused.

"Thank ye Fluttershy...you know...you look so much like your counterpart that I don't understand why I changed so much when I crossed over." She smiled and puzzled then searched around the room "Sonata Dusk was it?" She looked over at the dizzy girl. "Ye I know about...ye be the reincarnation of a malevolent Siren." Stone Hammer narrowed her eyebrows a little.

"Yeah...how did you know...and what's reincarnation?" She said as she tilted her head to Twilight Sparkle.

"She's gained my trust Stone Hammer...many times over." Twilight Sparkle spoke.

"Then she shall have mine...highness." She slightly bowed her head.

"Oh...no, I'm not a princess..." Twilight Sparkle giggled a little.

"That not be true, ye may not posses the title of one....but ye has the royal blood and soul that makes a princess." Stone Hammer made Twilight Sparkle blush and all around nodded in agreement making Twilight Sparkle blush even more.

"Do you know which Titan could Princess Luna's vision have seen?" Asked Sunset Shimmer as she looked at Stone Hammer.

"Not yet...but one will find out once I get back to my watchtower..." She paused and quickly recalled her previous battle. "But either one will make a formidable opponent." She said as she touched her hair and it started to shrink to shoulder length, leaving a middle parting fringe and a very short back.

"Wow...I thought magic stopped working once you came over the portal." Twilight Sparkle said as she looked to Princess Twilight.

"I guess that goes just for us." Princess Twilight looked at Stone Hammer "But you shaman, are something else." She guessed.

"Ye be right yer highness. As mentioned before, one is a watcher, an immortal entity tasked with overseeing one of the four realms...mine was this..my fellow shaman of the Throne Of Elements had their respective ones to watch over...Asgard the realm of gods belonged to Diamond Razor, Jotunheim land of giants was Steel Gazer, Alfheim land of the elves was Skyrunner's beautiful domain...and finally Equestria belonged to your ancestor Thunder Sparkle...our leader and brother in arms. As the youngest of the watchers one was given Midgard." She paused, her eyes slightly in pain at remembering her companions faces. "Excuse me...one is filled with strange emotions you mortals call sadness." She gulped holding back silent tears.

"I'm sorry darling, It must be awful to wake to all this...all your friends gone...your world completely changed...but we are here for you if you need us." Rarity intervened as she placed her hands on both Stone Hammer's shoulders, she looked up at Rarity and could see the magic aura around her and also the rest of the girls suddenly brighten.

"You're magic has an amazing strength one cannot understand clearly yet." She stood up from her chair. "You are all bound to each other very strongly...specially you Sunset Shimmer and Pinkie Pie, your bond seems new..." She mused. "I must return to my home in the nether...in your time I wont be gone but a few hours...but in the nether I will have enough time to oversee everything I have missed...when one returns I shall be more prepared and less...how can one put it?" She paused. "Emotionally controlled...one hopes." She said as she levitated on the spot before vanishing slowly into thin air leaving a few flower blossoms in her stead.

"Okay....is it me or is this girl awesome!" Said Rainbow Dash as she looked at everyone's stunned expression.

"Well I think we can stop worrying about Stone Hammer feeling lost...she knows more about this world than we do." Sunset Shimmer looked at Princess Twilight. "We shall take it from here...you must get back home and try to find if Princess Luna has had anymore revelations."

"Good idea Sunset...I'm sorry I can't stay longer..." Princess Twilight hugged Sunset and Pinkie at the same time. "I'm happy for both of you...and please stay in touch with the journal at all times." She prepared to leave. "From now on we are walking in shadow."

Nether Realm high above earth

Stone Hammer found herself in her observatory floating above earth, a rock and lava plateau. The heat was immense and the floor she stood on was covered with beautiful grass.

"Home...how one has missed ye...and look at how thou has grown...technology and achievements that only can be described as wonders...." She looked towards the center of the plateau where a crystal sphere stood, immaculate and shinning bright with otherworldly green glow.

The Watcher's Sphere looked at Stone Hammer and blinked from green glow to lava read.

"My lady...is that you?" Asked a corpse less voice as it filled Stone Hammer's mind a little too loud.

"Etrium!" She held her head in both hands. "Too loud...this new body is frail and delicate..." She stumbled to the ground.

"Sorry young one...you look...well your avatar looks much more like today's beings. I thought you dead." Etrium the Sphere spoke to Stone Hammer.

"One has been trapped in Equestria." She replied as she picked herself up.

"I have missed our conversations. When your light vanished after the explosion that imprisoned the Titans I thought you had been extinguished along with the other watchers." It recalled.

"One still lives, but doesn't understand much...all I can say is that the power of Thunder Sparkles flows through me...so one can only guess he protected me as I exploded against the Titans..." She drifted and gently walked towards Etrium.

"Come forward little one..." Etrium advised. "Let me enlighten you with this worlds history you have missed."

Stone Hammer placed both hands on Etrium and was engulfed in light, thousands of years flashed through her mind, the time she had lost on earth. Discoveries, changes, love, violence and above all else war...so much war these humans raged against themselves for different reasons apart from survival. Stone Hammer began to crumble where she stood, her mind weaker than before and her resolve slightly broken from her guilt at surviving the Titan war.

"Light Shimmer, concentrate!" Etrium eased her as tears ran down Stone Hammer's cheeks, but at hearing her real name she began to pick herself up. "This is all you have missed....the time of the Watchers is over...but you..not Stone Hammer but Light Shimmer have a final mission...Atlas Moon is coming back."

"No...it's true...Titans...what can I do against a power so strong!" She shouted resembling a young girl more than a powerful entity.

"You're becoming mortal again...your power will never leave as long as you find where you belong...but once you leave here today, you can never come back. I shall be by your side always, when you need me most I shall console you..." Etrium reassured her. "Only you will be able to hear me..."

"These humans...all they know is war!" She said agitated. "How does Sunset Shimmer and her friends live here so happy and show so much love for one another?" The flowers on her hair lost their magical grip and started falling. "I'm becoming Light Shimmer again?" She looked down at her feet as they started to heat up from the earth and started to change from the rock skin to bright yellow. "Etrium...it was an honor to serve with ye..." Her voice becoming higher pitch and gentler, her eyes returning to brown from their previous jade green. "I shall return to the only people I have now....tell me now Etrium is Sunset Shimmer my blood?" She questioned as her hair became bright orange.

"She is yours and Thunder Sparkles descendant...the union of magic created by his death and your protection gave birth to her bloodline back in Equestria...that's why she is unique...there is only one Sunset Shimmer." Etrium explained as the powerful watcher had been replaced by a twenty something short young girl. "I will place you in their circle as her sister...add memories to both you so you won't be alone....Good bye my beautiful child...you where my most treasured student." Etrium announced as he began to teleport Light Shimmer to Sunset Shimmers location. At hearing Etrium show her emotion Light Shimmer crumbled and started to get agitated.

"No WAIT!! I'm not ready!! I..I..." She shouted as she tried to walk towards Etrium but bright light engulfed her and the next step she took was inside Sunset Shimmer's dorm room.

Sunset Shimmer and Applejack's Room

"What! What the...!" Shouted Sunset Shimmer as an explosion of light engulfed her room and a girl shouting appeared in full walking motion.

"No! No! NO! Don't leave me...alone...all alone...." Light Shimmer, the powerful demigod watcher known as Stone Hammer collapsed to the ground holding herself in her own arms, crying.

"Stone Hammer!" Pinkie Pie popped out from Sunset Shimmers bed, but Light Shimmer just trembled as her body temperature continued to drop from the heat of the magma that previously ran through her veins.

"No...that's not..." Sunset Shimmer looked down at the girl. "Wait! it is her...what's wrong? what happened?" Sunset Shimmer quickly bent down to help her up. "My god you're freezing! and your skin...your hair...what's happening!?" she worried. "Honey get me the extra covers...." She looked at Pinkie Pie who was suddenly next to her with the covers already, Sunset Shimmer smiled. "You're best." She took the covers and wrapped Light Shimmer in them.

"I...I am no longer Stone Hammer....." Light Shimmer trembled and shuddered. "I am no longer a watcher...I'm just alone...all alone..." The despair was starting to overwhelm Light Shimmer.

"You're not alone!" Snapped Sunset Shimmer. "You have us...we're your allies!...your friends...give us a chance to prove it to you." She tried to read Light Shimmer but heard nothing from her mind.

"You cannot read me Sunset Shimmer..." Light Shimmer tried to smile up at Sunset.

"I'm sorry...I was just curious to why I couldn't..." Sunset Shimmer quickly jumped to the apology.

"No need to say sorry...it must be strange not hearing anything coming from me when I'm in this state." Light Shimmer sat on the bed. "I'm sorry if I arrived at the wrong time." She looked around the room.

"Don't worry about that right now." Sunset Shimmer looked at Pinkie Pie gently as Pinkie Pie brought Light Shimmer a hot drink.

"It seems I've returned a lot later than I expected...but a lot happened I didn't expect." Light Shimmer sniffed. "I don't like this leaking thing." She wiped a tear from her eyes.

"It's called crying...and you look different....not because of the crying...but its the whole not been made of stone and grass with burning boiling lava flowing through your veins...that ol' chestnut." Pinkie Pie unloaded as she sat next to Sunset Shimmer.

"This is my new form, I guess it's what I would have looked like if I had been born in this age...my name remains the same as before I became a watcher..." Light Shimmer drank the hot chocolate. "I love this stuff..." She drank. "In this state I am known Light Shimmer...don't worry my powers are still here...just my earth elemental power from before I became a watcher." She puzzled.

"Light Shimmer?" Pinkie Pie smiled. "Like my Sunset...that's really nice....you look really really alike too...apart from the hair...and your brown eyes...they are huge like nice big doughnuts! " She bounced up a little. "Oh oh oh you gotta try doughnuts!"

"Yes...I...erm..." Light found it hard to explain as Sunset Shimmer looked at her with a straight face and a little puzzled.

"Well, Light Shimmer...Pinkie Pie is right we do resemble each other a lot." Sunset Shimmer stood up and smiled at her. "Apart from you awesome muscle mass." She pretended to flex her own biceps.

"She's right! you look much better than the scary looking earth creature with the green eyes and booming voice." Pinkie Pie over acted her motions as always. Light Shimmer smiled and wiped the last of her tears.

" You can sleep in Applejack's bed tonight, you probably need real non magical rest." Sunset Shimmer pointed at the bed across the room.

"Hehe...thanks probably true. I'm still so cold thou...not used to having blood again I guess." Smiled Light as she stood up and suddenly felt her knees close together a little. "Or erm..bodily functions." She blushed fast

"That way." Pointed Sunset Shimmer as Light ran to the toilet. Sunset turned to Pinkie Pie and they both said it at the same time. "Adorable." and giggled.

"Okay so I guess our big hitter is a little more fragile than we expected." Pinkie Pie got back into Sunset Shimmer's bed.

"Looks like it, I will have to write Princess Twilight about this update as soon as we wake up tomorrow..." Sunset Shimmer returned to her bed and laid next to Pinkie Pie.

"Hmm warm..." Pinkie Pie snuggled onto Sunset's shoulder and rested her head on Sunset's chest.

"That was erm...embarrassing." Light Shimmer came back into the room and sat at Applejack's bed.

"Heh don't worry, you're taking this better than I would..." stated Sunset Shimmer.

"Yeah...like what? you've changed shape like three times in one day, awoke from forty thousand year sleep and travelled through a few portals." Pinkie Pie smiled as she lifted her head up of Sunset to look at Light. "...And found out Sunset is your descendant." She said before resting her head back.

"Yeah...it's pretty craassayyyyWHAT!" Sunset Shimmer sat up quickly and turned to Light Shimmer.

"Erm...yeah." Light Shimmer sat cross legged on Applejack's bed biting her bottom lip. "I can tell you about it now orrrr we can just accept the fact that we are related and I'll explain it to you another time...once I've figured it out a little more myself." She smiled gently. "Yes let's do that..." She playfully dived under the covers.

"I..am...related to...Stone Hammer?" Sunset Shimmer felt a little woozy.

"And Thunder Sparkle...goodnight." Light Shimmer popped back out and then dove back under the covers and left Sunset Shimmer in awe.

"Night night." Pinkie Pie said as she pulled Sunset Shimmer back to bed ignoring her shocked state.

"Wait...we're just gonna skim over this and go to sleep!?" Questioned Sunset Shimmer but there was no reply from either of the two girls. "Oh c'mon Really?..." No response. "Guess we are gonna go to sleep then." She smiled as she could hear both girls giggling.

When Sirens come calling

Next morning at Flash's Fraternity house.

"You sir...'ave outdone yerself...." Applejack lay on her back panting gently as she looked at Flash who lay next to her.

"Why thank you my lady...." He smiled content with his performance.

"So...ah mah gonna need to lay 'ere still until the feelings in mah legs returns." She grinned content and Flash chuckled.

Flash stood up and walked to his bathroom to splashed cold water on his head.

"So how many nights you giving Pinkie and Sunset alone?" He dried his face and walked back into the room.

"Hehe...Ah gonna have to find out...but ah sure they probably got a lotta alone time to be catching up with." She laughed and picked her mobile phone up to read any missed messages.

"About the new erm girl I guess...more like entity really...." Flash tried to place Stone Hammer. "How's she not gonna attract attention looking like that?"

"Erm...she's in my dorm..." Applejack read the missed text message from Sunset Shimmer. "And it seems a lot has changed..." She sat up and realized she was covered in sweat. "Okay big guy, ah fixin' to get a shower and then ah be rarin' to go." A ponied up Applejack stood up completely nude and Flash raised his eyebrows in enjoyment at the site of his girlfriend.

"The ears never get old you know babe." Smiled Flash as AJ as she smiled.

"Means yah did a good job tha's all." She winked.

Applejack smiled and then walked to the bathroom. "C'mon cowboy..." She smiled at him "Get in 'ere with me." Flash did't need to hear it again as he threw his towel on the bed and made his way to Applejack. He picked her up from the hips and stepped into the shower with her and started to kiss her neck. "Yeeha...atta boy!" Applejack moaned as Flash leaned her against the shower wall.

Meanwhile Twilight Sparkle and Sonata Dusk's room

Sonata Dusk screamed in horror as she woke from a nightmare.

"WHAT! WHO! WHERE!" Snapped Twilight Sparkle as she jumped out of bed still groggy from sleep.

"Sorry sorry sorry." Sonata Dusk wiped tears from her eyes as Twilight Sparkle quickly walked to sit by her side.

"No it's okay, shush shush it's okay...what happened?" Twilight gave her a hug and held her close. Sonata was trembling.

"I...saw death..my sisters...Stone Hammer...Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie!!!" She began to freak out again. "Oh god poor Sunset..." She gasped.

"Calm down it's just a dream...I'm sure they're all fine..." Twilight tried to calm Sonata down.

"Spike! Spike here please..." She called the dog who jumped onto her bed.

"You okay? You look like you saw a ghost...you didn't did you?" Spike sat on Sonata's lap.

"Worse...I think....it wasn't a dream...it was a vision...like before..." Sonata stroked Spikes head trying to calm herself. This news shocked Twilight to the core.

"I don't wan't to know what you saw until we have Sunset Shimmer here...we need the journal to contact Princess Twilight." Twilight Sparkle decided to start getting change. "I'll get you some coffee okay...You get ready." She stood up and walked to their kitchen.

Sonata's mobile phone began to chime so she picked up and answered.

"I know it's been a while little sister...but there is a problem." Adagio Dazzle sharp voice engaged Sonata over the phone. "First of all...are you okay?" She asked slight worried voice.

"Yes..I'm fine...just made Sparkly jump a little with my like nightmare." Sonata trailed off into casual conversation already recovering from her initial horror.

"Sonata! focus!" Adagio snapped. "I really don't care what that nerd is doing! Both Aria and I had the same vision...so I'm sure you have too." We're on our way to you first thing this afternoon."

"Yes Adagio." Sonata Dusk replied to her sister and former leader. "Can't wait to catch up...there is so much..." Sonata trailed off again before Adagio snapped her back to the conversation.

"Sonata!...I know you struggle to pay attention but...have you met someone called Stone Hammer there?" Adagio questioned interested.

"Oh yeah...the earth girl...how do you know?" Sonata smiles as Twilight Sparkle walks back to her with a mug of coffee.

"Never you mind that! and what do mean girl!?" Snapped Adagio. "Ah forget it...just make sure Twilight Specs and Sunset Dimmer don't try anything stupid...okay?" She ordered as Sonata Dusk nodded in agreement.

"OH. My. God...you're nodding ain't ya!?...I can't see you nodding! brain dead!" She let out a grumble in defeat. "It's still painful talking to you!"

"Miss you Sonata you dumb-ass!!!" She heard Aria shout from the background as she laughed hysterically.

"See you soon dumb-o." Adagio hung up.

"Bye bye!" Smiled Sonata as she looked at Twilight Sparkle. "My sisters are coming." She smiled from ear to ear as she raised both hands in the air in victory.

"What!" Twilight Sparkle spat out some of her coffee in shock. "Do you think that's a good idea? you know...t-they are, well kinda e-evil..." She blushed.

"For realzys? It'll be fine...we will need them..." Sonata Dusk smiled as she tilted her head.

Sunset Shimmer and Applejack's Dorm room

All alone...the world is vast and yet small, I still hold the power to create life within me...I can feel the grass grow, the sky breath...human hearts are everywhere....from hate to love to fear. Breath all life in so creation can resume.
One will not fail the elements of the universe...feel me mother earth, one is your humble vehicle for you to harness power, I am your weapon of good, anger and hate, one cannot exists without the other...I feel you...embrace my strength...use me to lash out at what threatens you...

"What ya doin!? is it difficult...did you know you're glowing!? and floating...you're not asleep are you!?" Pinkie Pie was standing an inch away from Light Shimmer who was sat cross leg while meditating, Pinkie Pie was right she was floating on the spot and also glowing red. Pinkie Pie's interruption knocked Light Shimmer back to earth fast.

"By the realms! Pinkie Pie! Don't do...." She rubbed her bum after landing a little too hard. "I was meditating..." she had to giggle at Pinkie Pie's actions. "You know...trying to balance myself in order to have better control of my powers." Pinkie Pie looked at her blankly then blinked.

"Ooooh...sounds exhausting...do you want pancakes? waffles? ice-cream? oh oh oh! Pancake Waffles with ICE-CREAM!?" Pinkie Pie picked Light Shimmer up with a strong hug that knocked the oxygen out of her. "You look so much like my Sunset it's hard to not love ya." Pinkie Pie smiled as she released Light from her bear hug grip.

Light Shimmer was short on her feet, she looked up at Pinkie Pie slightly amused as she tried to get oxygen back into her small frame.

"Thank ye Pinkie Pie...you're a fine example of why Laughter Sprites where my favorite creation." Light Shimmer looked down at her feet confused. "I'm still really cold...guess it's going to take one a little longer to adapt to this fragile body." She grimaced in slight anger.

"Well you are pretty dinky...really teenie and dinky-dy." Pinkie Pie hopped to the kitchen.

"Are you sure those are actual words Pinkie Pie?" Light Shimmer looked over to Sunset Shimmer who was still snoring completely unconscious. "I guess one should answer all Sunset Shimmer's questions today...she is the closes thing one has to family."

"Okay now that is freaky-diky...you more like her ancestor." Pinkie Pie looked towards Light Shimmer who stood looking down at Sunset in silence. "You look the same age thou..." She stated. "....so more like sisters maybe..." She puzzled.

"For a forty thousand year old lady...One has aged well." Smiled Light Shimmer at Pinkie Pie.

"Wait...that was a joke!" Pinkie Pie bounced in joy. "You are so totally different from what everyone expected...not scary at all....we ARE going to have soooo much fun!" She overjoyed.

"Hmm, is that a good thing thou?" Light walked towards Pinkie Pie. "I was a powerful watcher and shaman before...I am but a fraction of what is needed for the coming events..." She mused. "I just hope one can live up to what is expected of me."

"I'm sure you'll all be fine...on a more important note....what do you want to eat?" Pinkie Pie looked at Light from behind a couple of glasses she pretended to use as binoculars. Light Shimmer laughed amused...laughter sprites where the best.

"I'll eat whatever you feed me Pinkie...the same thing Sunset would like I guess. As her life mate I'm sure you know exactly what that is." Smiled Light as she sat at the coffee table.

"Life-mate!" She stopped on the spot. "Hmm...I like that." She was overcome with joy and gave Light Shimmer another huge oxygen depleting bear hug.

Pinkie Pie hopped and skipped around in the kitchen with incredible speed as she cooked breakfast and suddenly there it was, pony ears, pony tail and a magical glow appeared to Light Shimmer's surprise.

"By the Odin's beard." Whispered Light as she looked at Pinkie Pie as she ponied up. "This magic...its similar to that of Princess Twilight's aura."

"Not similar...the same...it's friendship magic! it's our magic we create when we are all together..." Pinkie Pie appeared next to Light with a plate full of pancakes. "And these are Pancakes!...your new favorite food." She erupted as she put the plate in front of Light and then turned and jumped on Sunset Shimmer.

Sunset Shimmer let a out a cute squeal as she grabbed Pinkie Pie by the waist, they both giggled as Pinkie Pie tried to find Sunset's face from under the covers.

"Good morning beautiful." Sunset said as she was finally met by Pinkie Pie's smiling face.

"Hey Sunny! I think you've snored enough for today!" She smiled and gave Sunset a long passionate kiss that made her arch her back. "C'mon I've made breakfast... and I think Light's struggling with it." Pinkie Pie jumped out of bed in one quick motion leaving a very surprise Sunset blushing and a little turned on.

"I am not!" Came Light Shimmer's voice... "One is simply trying to understand how to get the golden goo out of this thing!" She looked over the maple syrup bottle in her hands.

"Hey...and I don't snore!" Sunset Shimmer laughed as she blushed.

"Yeah you do." Light Shimmer added with a smile as Sunset Shimmer sat up from her bed.

"Pinkie Pie Pancakes!" Sunset Shimmer smelled the aroma instantly "Damn...sorry I forgot to buy bananas." Sunset Shimmer joined them at the table.

"You mean like these..." Light created a glow from her hand until it was replaced by a bunch of fresh bananas. "One still has it." She smiled as Sunset's stared at her slack jawed.

"Oh Oh Oh...." Pinkie Pie jumped on the spot. "Make some..." Sunset Shimmer quickly interrupted.

"Not now honey...let's just try and eat and get Princess Twilight and the rest of our group up to speed with Stone Hammer's change to Light Shimmer." Said Sunset Shimmer. "And also please explain to me what you meant by we are related."

Light Shimmer took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.

The Vision

Back in Equestria Canterlot Castle.

"No! Get away from her you vile demon! you're dealing with me now!" a young human girl with earth for skin and bright green grass for hair levitated defensively in front of a fallen Sunset Shimmer and her friends. "You will not touch another hair on their heads while I stand!!!" She boomed as she looked up at a huge black mist. She began to glow bright red as she tighten her fists before extending her arms at the black mist, a huge lightning bolt flew out entwined with flowers and plant vines. The powerful projectile hit the black mist and continued to stream out of Light Shimmer's hands to the level that it started to drain her color...she fell to her knees without stopping her attack, as she screamed in pain she finally heard a booming voice shriek out in agony from within her target.

Light Shimmer dropped to the ground completely spent before the mist let out a horrid cackle.

"Stony, Stony you're a shadow of your former self...shame you have to die like this...after our last battle you showed so much promise...oh well...say hello to Thunder Sparkle for me!!" The black mist's horrid voice filled the air around them. "These new playthings will do just fine." Sunset Shimmer looked up and tried to get to her feet quickly reaching out to Light Shimmer.

"NO SUNSET! GET BACK NOW!!" Ordered Light Shimmer as she held her hand up to stop Sunset Shimmer approaching, the black mist let out a fowl cackle and struck Light with one huge magical purple shot and then fell silent. Light Shimmer stood immobile looking straight at Sunset Shimmer, then her eyes turned black and she started to slowly crumble into soil. Sunset Shimmer let out a agonizing scream as she saw her sister destroyed before her very eyes.

Princess Luna awoke horrified at her vision, she yelped for the first time in her long life at the images in her mind. Within seconds she found herself heading to Celestia's chambers to describe the vision as accurate as she could. Luna couldn't get the horrifying image of Light Shimmer been completely destroyed by such immense power. Who was this new girl.

"What is it sister? you seem agitated!" Celestia's answered her chamber door instantly to Luna's knocking.

"Death...a lot of death." Luna looked up at her powerful sister. "Sunset Shimmer and her friends are in danger!" She continued. "The Titan will destroy them all..." She began to loose her cool a little.

"That's why we sent them Stone Hammer...he can help them.." Celestia placed her head on her sisters to try and comfort her. "Sit and and calm yourself Luna...and let's start from the top of this vision before we inform Twilight and Sunset." She guided her sister inside her chamber.

Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie's Room

Fluttershy sat at the breakfast table with her pet rabbit Angel, she was enjoying her mocha and vanilla muffins that Pinkie Pie had made her last night before she slept at her girlfriend's house.

"Well things have definitely liven up in the last day Angel." She said as the rabbit ate his muffin and then looked at her. "Why yes Angel Pinkie Pie is at Sunset's again, I don't think she is going to be sleeping here for a while...you know the whole honeymoon phase thing...well you know how it is...you're a rabbit." Fluttershy giggled as Angel looked at her with his usual stern look. "Well now there is only me and Rainbow Dash left single...Rarity doesn't count...she has new boyfriends every few days." She smirked as Angel tapped his saucer with his foot asking for more mocha. "Why yes of course." She smiled gently. "I'm looking forward to talking to Stone Hammer...she has amazing magic, she just makes nature from thin air...I mean its so beautiful....you would love her...she looks like some sort of Demigod...well I think actually that is what she is." Fluttershy mused as her mobile phone chimed.

"Hello? Fluttershy here." She answered softly.

"Brace yourself...and don't freak out..." Came Sunset Shimmers voice and a bright spark flash filled room and suddenly Light Shimmer was standing in front of Fluttershy as she squeaked in shock.

"Fluttershy don't fret you already know me...I'm Light Shimmer, you met me as Stone Hammer." She smiled as she looked at Fluttershy and then at Angel. "Please to meet you too Angel...of course I wont hurt Fluttershy...I'm hoping to learn how to make friends with her..." Light Shimmer engaged conversation with Angel as Fluttershy looked at them. "Yes...you have a productive day to my young brother." Light Shimmer said to Angel and then turned to Fluttershy. "Close your eyes young one." She said gently as she placed both hands on Fluttershy's shoulders.

"Why do I..." Fluttershy began but then stopped as her hair felt a massive warmth of air hit her.

"Welcome Fluttershy...congratulations you just teleported!" Pinkie Pie gave her a huge hug.

"What? when? how?!" Fluttershy was still sat on a chair but instead of hers this belonged to Sunset Shimmer. "Oookay...Light Shimmer was it?" She looked up at the short girl. "You look different from yesterday."

"It's a long story...that we will surely one day revisit..but for now I need to do this." Light Shimmer placed her right hand on Fluttershy's head and the other on her own heart. Green energies flowed through Light Shimmer to Fluttershy for a few seconds as Fluttershy's eyes grew tears and she gave a massive exhale.

"Oh...my god...all this life!" Fluttershy slightly raised her voice. "I can feel all life...everything...I can hear heartbeats...the wind...this is amazing!!" She continued as she looked at Light Shimmer. "What did you do?....thank you." Fluttershy could feel the power inside her quadruple.

"I released your old magic...you're like me...an earth elemental...we're sisters of nature....I am no longer a watcher...I have reverted to my natural state." Light Shimmer took Fluttershy's hands in hers. "Relax and let all the background sounds fall apart from your mind...concentrate only on us in this room...or you will go a bit crazy..." Light Shimmer warned.

"Okay...I got this..." Fluttershy closed her eyes and allowed her mind to only think of the people with her right now. "I think I got it." She smiled as the sounds calm down and she was once again just hearing her friends.

"This is my gift to you...we will need it." Light Shimmer stood up and looked at Sunset Shimmer who had Pinkie Pie on her lap. "Now....where is that siren?" Her gaze now stern and serious.

"Oookay...maybe tone down the scary..." Pinkie Pie raised her eyebrows.

"Light...Sonata Dusk is our friend...whatever you think of sirens, Sonata is not like them." Sunset Shimmer explained as she stood up and walked to her wardrobe.

"Oh yes...Sonata is lovely...so sweet and innocent...she would never hurt a fly." Fluttershy shared.

"Yeah Sonata is awesome...but there was that time they took over our school and brainwashed everyone into zombies...oh oh oh and that time when the took over Twilight Sparkle...oh oh and the time...." But Sunset Shimmer quickly covered Pinkie Pie's mouth with one hand and wrapped her other arm around the pink girl's waist.

"Honey...you're not helping here..." Sunset Shimmer gritted her teeth and looked at Pinkie Pie from the side. "The point is...that was in the past...Sonata left all that behind ever since Twilight Sparkle restored her magic." Light Shimmer watched Sunset closely then raised her left eyebrow.

"Do you have so much forgives because you feel guilty about what you did?" Light questioned bluntly as she tilted her head to the side.

"Well..yeah kinda...wait a minute how did you know that?" Sunset Shimmer stopped in her tracks.

"Last night our memories melded while we slept...we share a lot of qualities Sunset Shimmer...don't think of what happened as invasive...you have my memories too..." Light looked at her sister. "I guess it's magic I don't fully understand...but I think I have been placed here in your time as your sister...that's why we seem so at easy with each other..."

"I thought I felt unusually close to you since I woke up...I mean this all feels so familiar...sitting here with you having breakfast...it's just like we have done this before so much it's second nature." Sunset Shimmer mused over the information she had just received.

"Wow SISTERS!" Pinkie Pie was next to Light Shimmer in seconds giving her head a hug without releasing it this time.

"Pinkie...Pie...need...oxygen....now!...." Light Shimmer tried to breath as Pinkie let her go and closed in on Light's face.

"That means that we're sisters too!!" She smiled as Light looked at her and then tapped Pinkie's head.

"I accept you as a sibling too Pinkie..." Light mused... "By your bond to Sunset I guess that makes you my sister too." Light turned to Sunset Shimmer "So the demon inside you...I will only call on it as a last resort...but If I do I will destroy it and free you from it..." Light looked at Sunset sternly.

"Demon!? I thought that was gone!" Sunset Shimmer looked horrified.

"No...the rage is there...I would destroy it if we where in a different situation...but I'm not sure if I wont have need of it...together with the siren as a weapon I might be of use to our cause." Light emanated the aura of a leader that gave Sunset Shimmer, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy the feeling to follow her without question.

"Sonata is a weapon?" Asked Fluttershy as Pinkie Pie popped from her side.

"Like a sword weapon, or like a gun weapon...oh oh or like a...." Pinkie Pie started to roll but once again her partner was there to relax her.

"Why don't we let her explain sugarcube..." Smiled Sunset Shimmer as she gave the pink girl a quick peck on her cheek.

"Later...for now let's get everyone else at a meeting point...I would like to meet the team that will be facing Atlas Moon with me to explain what will be expected of us all." She stated as she stood up. "How do I look?" She questioned Sunset Shimmer.

"Well it's safe to say you can pull off the jock look with a body like that." Sunset Shimmer smiled. "You look like a cross-fit athlete."

"I'm guessing Applejack's clothes?" Smiled Fluttershy as she looked at Light Shimmer.

"Here! this completes it." Pinkie Pie appeared behind Light Shimmer and placed a trucker baseball cap on her. "Now you look awesome." She stated.

"Okay...well you know best." Smiled Light Shimmer.

A few hours and text messages later at Cafe Everfree.

Twilight Sparkle sat impatiently twiddling her hair as she waited for Sunset Shimmer to arrive with the important update.

"So this is getting a little intense right?....which usually means we're all gonna do something awesome together and kick some butt!" Rainbow Dash smiled as she pumped her fist.

"Wish I shared your enthusiasm Rainbow...b-but I like to know all the data p-possible for whatever problem arises first." Twilight Sparkle bit her bottom lip.

"Ah c'mon ya'll, as long as we're together there ain't a'much we can't do." Applejack smiled as she drank her coffee and took one of Rarity's biscuit.

"I'm going to agree with AJ darlings...we have been tasked many a time before and have come out on top at every hardship." Rarity announced as a matter of fact.

"Erm guys like? here they come." Sonata Dusk announced as Sunset Shimmer in hand with a skipping Pinkie Pie came through the door to the cafe.

"Who's the new girl?" Questioned Rainbow Dash as Fluttershy walked in followed by Light Shimmer.

"Ah think that's Stone Hammer ya'll." Applejack gave her glasses a quick clean as Sunset Shimmer and her group arrived at the table.

"Hey guys...we've a little catching up to do." Sunset Shimmer explained with a smile as Light Shimmer stood next to her quietly.

"As always, my Sunny is understating it...there is so so so much to talk about..." Pinkie Pie began to roll on as Sunset Shimmer smiled and let her start the explanation.

As Sunset and Pinkie Pie continued explaining the events from last night and this morning to the rest of the girls, Twilight Sparkle watched Light Shimmer in amazement.

Light Shimmer was watching Sonata Dusk very carefully but all she had witnessed was a pretty girl that so far had payed no attention to Sunset Shimmer but just played with her dog.

"Is she always like this?" Light Shimmer whispered to Pinkie Pie as her gaze didn't leave Sonata.

"Yep! always always always." Pinkie Pie smiled who drank her hot chocolate as Light turned to face a creamed nosed Pinkie Pie.

"Like? Pinkie Pie you have...your nose is covered in cream." Sonata Dusk was suddenly sat next to Light Shimmer with a napkin for Pinkie Pie.

"By the realms!" Light Shimmer flinched a little as she had only taken her eyes of Sonata for less than a few seconds. "Erm...hello?" She struggled to talk to the siren who looked at her with a blank expression and beautiful big purple eyes.

"I like your hat." Sonata said as she smiled at Light. "So..like wow right..from what Sunset is saying you've had, like a pretty hard first few days here..." She engaged Light Shimmer in conversation proving she had been paying attention all along. "I can like relate to that, when me and my sisters first arrived we struggled to adapt to human life too."

"Your sisters?" Light Shimmer's eyes instantly narrowed.

"Yeah, like there are three of us here...Adagio and Aria are on their way..." Sonata Dusk smiled happily as the conversation instantly stopped and all girls looked towards her as Twilight Sparkle made a face-palm motion.

"Smooth Sonata...very smooth." Spike stated with a smile.

"WHAT!?" Sunset Shimmer quickly turned to Sonata then back to Twilight Sparkle. "When did you find out?"

"Just this morning...Sonata and her sisters have had a shared vision...which usually means a possible future." Twilight looked over at Sonata who slightly twitched at the memory of her vision.

"Three sirens could be problematic." Light Shimmer's cute facial features had changed to what Pinkie Pie had dubbed her "scary no BS look"

"Don't worry Light...me and my sisters are like, kinda bound to Twilight Sparkle since she restored our magic." Sonata Dusk placed her hand on Twilight's shoulder.

"Sirens bound to royalty!?" Light Shimmer's face soften. "It seems your royal Highness has an incredible power." She stated.

"Erm..no r-r-really it's just science...it was pretty simple really..." Twilight Sparkle began to explain.

"Darling, it was everything but simple." Rarity smiled at Twilight's modesty and gave her a side hug.

"Yeah...I still don't understand how you did it." Rainbow Dash shared with the rest of the group. "I mean you've explained it...more than once but I still just hear blah blah blah science, blah blah blah brainy stuff." she smiled.

"Well like, I've still got the chart if you wanna go over it again." Sonata smiled helpfully at Rainbow Dash.

"NO!" Came a chorus of Sunset, Applejack, Rarity and Rainbow Dash.

"The colors in the chart were pretty thou." Fluttershy whimpered quietly.

"Oookay. Guess it might have been a little m-more complex than I made out." Twilight Sparkle rubbed her arm shyly.

"Sonata Dusk." Light Shimmer stood up and extended her hand at her. "I require your aid."

"Yeah?" Sonata tilted her head and then looked at Twilight for reassurance.

"Go ahead Sonata, Light is here to help us after all." Twilight Sparkle looked intrigued. "But if you think about hurting her...I...I.."

"I will never hurt your Highness's friends..." Light Shimmer responded with a stern look and slightly offended that instantly shut Twilight up.

"Okay if you say so Twi." Sonata instantly turned to Light Shimmer full of confidence and took her hand.

In an instant green light engulfed both of them as Light Shimmer's hair became the same beautiful long green grass as before, then with a flash of light there was no Sonata Dusk within site. Light Shimmer slightly floated above the ground and looked around to the rest of the awestruck girls.

"Where is SONATA!" Twilight jumped up, slight fear in her voice.

"I'm like, here!" A voice called out to Twilight as a small indigo floating wisp made circles around a smiling Light Shimmer. "THIS IS AWESOME!" Sonata floated around Light with incredible speed. "Look how cute I AM!" Sonata didn't even try to mask her excitement. "So anyways..like what did you do?" She hovered next to Light's amused face.

"As a shaman I was taught to use many powers from our realm in order to strengthen me in times of need...I can now call on you when we go into battle." Light explained as another flash of light exploded again and Sonata was stood next to her completely normal again.

"There's something you don't see everyday...Sonata is now a fairy." Rainbow Dash stared at Light and Sonata in amazement.

"Does this mean you can do the same with Aria and Adagio?" Twilight Sparkle was back to her scientific mode as she examined Sonata.

"I'm okay Twi." Sonata reassured her.

"Sonata's sisters...especially Adagio are much more like the sirens you're used to." Sunset Shimmer said as she looked at Light.

"Adagio...Adagio Dazzle?" Light Shimmers face dropped and for a second you could see a human side to her not displayed before.

"Yeah that's her!...you know my sister? " Sonata seemed over the moon.

"You could say that..." Light Shimmer looked away from the group with slight embarrassment.

"Wait...no." Sunset Shimmer looked shocked for a second sensing her sister's feeling. "You knew each other, knew each other?" She smirked. "You're so full of surprises, sis." Sunset Shimmer found talking to Light this way very natural with only a second of pause as she questioned herself.

"It was a different life...different time." Light tried to dismiss it nonchalantly but realized no one was falling for it. "Don't tease!" Light responded to Sunset like a regular younger sibling. The rest of the girls watched the exchange in amusement, both Sunset and Light Shimmer seemed like siblings that had been together since birth and Sunset continued to tease a very vulnerable Light.

"C'mon you know I'm just teasing...I guess you like the bad girl thing." Sunset Shimmer gave Light a one arm nudge then realized they were confusing their friends. "Okay that was nice but strange." Sunset Shimmer realized how close her and Light had just been acting.

"Yeah..I guess that's the whole thing Etrium designed for us." Light Shimmer looked little confused then quickly focused. "But we have more important matters to attend to."

"So you both have memories of been together in childhood or something?" Twilight Sparkle questioned as she looked intrigued at both Light and Sunset Shimmer.

"Kinda...it's hard to describe." Sunset Shimmer mused. "I just feel incredibly close to her and an urge to protect her like you would to a younger sister."

"Hmm, the irony...that's definitely Etrieum's sense of humor...I'm the older one here!" Light huffed a little and crossed her arms as she resembled more her new age. "I guess this is his way of trying to keep me safe."

"Yep, yer definitely the young'en." Applejack shared as she nudged Rarity for her opinion.

"It seems that way darling...I mean you look around eighteen years old....if that." Rarity shared as she looked at Light and then Sunset.

"Hmm...and I'm starting to feel it too." Light Shimmer tried to compose herself.

"Okay guys me and Sunset have to shoot of to football practice." Rainbow Dash stood up and nodded at Sunset Shimmer.

"That's right..dammit I forgot..." Sunset Shimmer looked at Light "Are you gonna be okay on your own? Do you wanna go back to my dorm? Do you have any money for food?" She began to worried.

"Erm...I think I'll be okay Sunset...I can grow my food and everything you know." Light Shimmer teased as Sonata chuckled.

"She means literally too..." Pinkie Pie motioned magic coming out of her hands. "Mind...blown..." She made a slow explosion motion on her head.

"We got classes too guys." Twilight Sparkle looked at her watch. "Sonata would you stay with Light and show her around campus please?"

"Sure thing Twi...we will have lots of fun..." Sonata smiled as she stood up quickly.

"Please don't go to meet your sisters without us." Twilight Sparkle made sure that Sonata was listening.

"Oky-dokey." She responded as she grabbed Light Shimmer by the arm and began to drag her towards the door. Light's face was more confused than angry as she tried to wave at the group as Sonata dragged her away. "Ooh you're gonna love tacos...and crepes, crepes are the second best thing in the world..." She began to trail on about food as Light Shimmer just listening quietly.

"Well this will be amusing to watch...later guys." Spike quickly followed Sonata out. "And don't worry I'll keep them safe." He added.

"You think it was wise leaving Light with Sonata?" Questioned Fluttershy as she approached Sunset and Twilight. "I mean...Sonata is...well Sonata." She smiled.

"Erm I'm more worried about Sonata...Light can be quiet the handful." Sunset Shimmer said as a matter of fact.

"Sunset? how do you know this...you just met." Twilight Sparkle smiled amused and confused at Sunset's and Light's relationship.

"I dunno...I just know." Sunset said defeated. "Let's just take it as it comes guys...it's like I have memories of us together as children...but no images to go with them." She seemed confused and was growing a headache.

"Well she is becoming much more teenager like as time passes..." Twilight Sparkle thought back at yesterday's first meeting. "Are you happy with this situation?"

"Yeah...really happy...like I said, I don't understand it..but it feels right." Sunset Shimmer smiled at the thought of Light Shimmer. "I've kinda always wanted a little sister to pick on anyways." She chuckled.

"Oh god poor Light... this is just the beginning." Rainbow Dash laughed as she patted Sunset on the back letting her know it was time to go. "Go easy on her to begin with." She smiled.

"True, this has to be weirder for her...what, she was like an ancient being yesterday and now she is returning to mid-puberty...harsh." Giggled Pinkie Pie. "She'll be asking about boys soon...don't worry Light! big sis Pinkie Pie will help you!" Pinkie Pie jumped up and made a superhero pose.

"Riiight...the lesbian 'll teach'er about boys." Applejack chuckled.

"Ah yes....you make a good point there my dear AJ." Pinkie Pie was now holding a pipe and a Sherlock Homes hat as Sunset Shimmer let out a laugh.

A Day with Sonata Dusk

Light Shimmer stood in the sun staring at the beach, the blue sea washing up against the bright golden sand while the suns rays filling her with life energy. The wind hitting her face reminded her how been mortal had it's moments. Light Shimmer now on earth as a younger sibling to one Sunset Shimmer, a powerful mortal in her own right. She couldn't get her head round Etrium's plan to make her mortal and so vulnerable at such a crucial moment in the realms history...last time she had stood against the Titans she was a powerful Shaman and Realm Watcher, along with her fellow Watchers...they had all perish in order to stop the colossal Titans. The idea of standing alone against such a force, even with the help of this new group of warriors...was enough to make her want to scream.

"Here you go kiddo." Sonata Dusk approached the daydreaming Light Shimmer. "This is a really good gelato!" Sonata handed Light a cone, Light took it still slightly weary of the dizzy siren.

"So you don't know anything about anything really do you?" Light Shimmer bluntly spoke.

"Ouch...that's a little harsh...tone it down Light." Spike, Twilight Sparkle's purple dog spoke up before Sonata could respond...Sonata gave Light a slightly hurt look before she perked up again.

"Erm...One is...I mean I'm sorry Sonata...my experiences with your kind are not good ones..." Light realized she had actually hurt Sonata with her words alone. "You are very different to any siren I've met." She tried to smile. "In the best of ways..." She whispered as she couldn't control her blushing.

"For realizies!?" Sonata questioned. "What other sirens do you know?" She tilted her head to the side.

"Well mainly Adagio Dazzle and Aria Blaze as of late...well I guess it's more like a while back now." She giggled as her correction. "Make that Loooong while."

"That's right you are older than my sisters!...wow you're like...really really old." Sonata calculated her thoughts with a vague look.

"Hehe...I guess so Sonata." Light giggled as she looked at the air headed siren. "Thou I feel myself getting younger by the hour."

"Yeah you look like you're around eighteen." Spike looked towards Light then back at Sonata before he continued to eat his gelato. Light decided to try hers and the flavor instantly made her go a little high.

"WOW! What is this! it tastes like...well like...actually I don't know what..." Light Shimmer continued as she tried to get as much gelato in her mouth as fast a possible while Sonata giggled at her.

"It's just like...strawberry gelato...but the best around for realzies!" Sonata smiled at Light who realized her behavior and quickly tried to regain her dignity. "You don't have to like...stop acting like that...not with me...I like you all silly." Sonata smiled at her. "Twilight always says to be yourself no matter what." She slightly lectured.

"Point taken..." Smiled Light as she cleaned her cheek and missed some, Sonata noticed the other side of Light's face she had missed and leaned in to clean it, Light Shimmer froze as Sonata gently cleaned her cheek with a napkin.

"Erm...thanks, you didn't have to do that." Light blushed.

"No problem...I didn't think you were saving it for later..." Sonata giggled as Light's face warmed to her.

"So...what are the plans?..." Light Shimmer decided to close the unfriendly gap between them as she came to the conclusion Sonata Dusk was an odd siren who was been honest about bearing her no ill will.

"Well like, we gotta few hours to kill sooo....." Sonata thought out loud.

"Cinema and food courts!" Spike perked up with a smiled.

"Ooh sounds like a date!" Sonata cheered happily as Light looked confused.

"Well...not a date date right?" Light seemed a little cornered.

"It's an expression Light." Smiled Spike as he looked at the embarrassed Light Shimmer.

"Oh! right...I knew that..." Light Shimmer rubbed her elbow with her arm. "Did that sound convincing?" She looked up at Spike and Sonata.

"Nope." Spike deadpanned as Sonata quickly nodded yes. "C'mon let's get going." He laughed as the girls followed him towards the cinema.

Sonata Dusk talked all the way there as Light found it hard to keep up with her all of the while Spike just guided them towards their destination. Light Shimmer found that she couldn't keep her eyes of Sonata even thou her rambling was background noise, yet she really loved the way Sonata talked...the little funny words and the "Like" question she added to everything was so charming that without knowing Light found herself falling for her.

Equestria at the Castle of Friendship

Princess Twilight sat at her throne as she held many different manuscripts in the air with magic, reading their contents as fast as possible.

"That's the last ones I could find Twilight." Spike the purple dragon dropped the last few rolled up manuscripts onto the table.

"Thanks Spike but it seems this is a futile endeavor." Princess Twilight looked exhausted.

"Maybe yah should hit the hay Twi...you haven't slept for over twenty four hours." Applejack walked up to her.

"I know AJ but I need more information on what's happening." Twilight had her exhausted crazed look to her, that look that only came when she couldn't figure out the solution to a problem.

"Well darling, you're starting to look a little ragged...not the look for a princess if you ask me." Rarity spoke from her chair as she also looked through some manuscripts.

"Yep! and you can't have any more Pinkie Sugar Rockets!" Pinkie Pie appeared behind Princess Twilight. "You had four and that's waaaaay past the doctors recommended intake." She said over the top seriously as she was suddenly dressed with a doctors hat and periscope.

"Okay guys I get it...I'll get some rest...I'm sure a fresh mind should find some information tomorrow." Princess Twilight finally admitted.

"Also might be a good idea to check on Sunset Shimmer tomorrow." Spike sat on the table yawning as he spoke.

"Good idea Spike, let's all get some rest now and continue tomorrow." Princess Twilight stretched her wings and hind legs as she stood up.

The ponies all left their research as it was before saying their good nights and heading to their castle chambers.

Human realm outside the campus Cinema

The movie had left Light Shimmer amazed at what she had seen, human creation powers where amazing. Spike had explained to her countless times during the film that it was not real...it was all acting and computer generated effects...whatever that meant. Light Shimmer had struggled to listen to him as Sonata Dusk had been leaning on her shoulder to whisper to her all the things she liked about the film, every whisper Sonata had leaned over to do had had the warmth of her breath and scent of strawberries...and after the first six or so times Light Shimmer had found it extremely hard not to "accidentally" turn into it and steal a kiss...but she had managed to control herself. She was confused to why she had fallen for the ditsy siren, specially at a time like this. Light Shimmer knew Sonata wasn't using her powers on her, she had felt that before long ago and had swore to never fall for it again.

"Lighty are you like, okay?" Sonata questioned as Light walked next to her in a daze. "Didn't you like the film?...you've been awful quiet since we left the cinema...have I upset you somehow?" She worried.

"Hmm indeed...whats bothering you kid?" Spike stopped walking and sat down in front of both girls bringing them to a halt.

"Erm...I loved the movie...it was amazing...nothing is wrong...why do do ask?" Light Shimmer quickly defended herself too much as Spike gave her a deadpan stare. "I'm just a little tired...I can't eat as much as you Sonata...how do yo do it?...wait Lighty?" She lost her flow to realize that wasn't her name.

"Guess that's your Sonata nickname now..." Spike smiled. "We all have one...she does that a lot..."

"Okay?...Oh well, I kinda like it anyways..." Light Shimmer blushed a little and rubbed her arm as Sonata smiled at her.

"Good! cause I like saying it." Sonata picked Spike up in her arms and winked at her. "So we have killed enough timesy...we should probably head back to the cafe." Light Shimmer agreed with nod as she tried to not look at Sonata eyes directly.

"So...you've survived....who would have guessed it...out of all the watchers!" A young man walked towards them menacingly, he looked disjointed and slightly strange, something was off about the human.

Light Shimmer instantly went from a bashful crushy teen to serious no bs mode as she stood between Sonata and the newcomer. Light Shimmer was instantly her avatar with grass for hair and earth for skin.

"How about you use your own voice instead, demon!" She spat in hate towards the man, he smiled and then let out an awful female cackle.

"Wow! still the little know-it-all from before!" The possessed man teased, his awful voice sending shivers up Sonata Dusk's spine.

"Well...to know that I survived you had to at least give a killing blow! and I don't remember your brother doing that before I impaled him against the mountain...Atlas Moon!" Light Shimmer taunted the creature that had changed his stance to a much more hunched inhuman one. Light Shimmer whipped her arm to the ground to reveal a green light sword that flickered with her power, unstable and dangerous looking.

"Oh my...not very watcher like to taunt one's enemy...what's the matter? teenage hormones a little out control...mortal?" The possessed slithered out. "I see Etrium has left you alone to deal with me this time!"

"This will be easier than I expected...." Another possessed spoke, this time a female stepped forwards out of nowhere.

"These are not humans you're playing with!...you can create manifestations already!" Light Shimmer deducted looking at the two creatures.

A third creature appeared behind Sonata and grabbed her by both wrists as Sonata let out a frightened squeal that raised the hairs in the back of Light's neck so fast with hate that her reaction time to save her was nearly instant. Light Shimmer lunged towards Sonata's captor with her sword on point and instantly impaled it against a shop door making it burst into thousands of small black sprinkles. Light instantly turned back to the other creatures who had now multiplied and had began to close the gap between them.

"L-L-Light do you n-need my h-help?" Sonata freaked out a little as she stood frozen holding Spike.

"Nah...this is just exercise...I won't let them harm you!" Light shimmer boasted as she looked over her shoulder and gave Sonata a smirk that made the baby blue siren a little warm under her shirt. Light Shimmer ran towards the mob of creatures and somersaulted in the air to land perfectly in the center of them and started to parry and thrust her light sword at them chopping then into particles as more spawned to attack her until she was nowhere to be seen under a pile of creatures.

"Wow she is like.... really something...so amazingly...hot..." Sonata swooned over the earthen skin girl as she saw Light's sword keep swinging hitting target after target with grace.

"Hmm...I saw that..." Spike managed a smile. "You like her don't you...have you've been flirting this whole time!"? He added confused. "How did I not see that!?" He questioned as he usually found himself to be the number one go-to on Sonata knowledge. "Then again I didn't know you were...you know...gay." He concluded.

"How did you not notice?..." Sonata asked embarrassed then realized Light had been overrun by the creatures. "WAIT NO!!! LIGHT!!" She screamed at the crowd of mobs that piled on Light Shimmer as she was overran by the sheer number of them. "We have to help!" She panicked.

A massive green hue exploded from within the center of all the creatures turning them into black sprinkles and leaving behind a black mist as Light Shimmer, former Shaman of the Throne of Elements walked out of it with her sword pointing at the ground. Sonata Dusk was left a little breathless as Light's sword retreat itself into her hand and her skin and hair returned to their natural yellow and red in that order.

"Sonata! are you okay? are you hurt, did they scare you! I dealt with them so they can't get you now...say something..." Light Shimmer rambled at incredible Pinkie Pie like speed, her face back to her sweet & shy self. Sonata loved how much doting Light was giving her as she placed Sonata's cheek on her left palm gently to look at her better.

"I'm okay Lighty...p-promise I'm fine...you...y-you were amazing by the way..." Sonata slowly whispered shyly as Spike dropped to the ground anticipating maybe getting squashed by their first kiss.

Light Shimmer quickly picked up Sonata's thoughts crystal clear in her mind just like her sister Sunset's ability to read minds.

"You...you like me?" Light Shimmer blushed as she looked at Sonata.

"Well like duh!" Sonata smiled gently back at her. "Like, I've been trying to get your attention since we left the cafe." She said as she played with her fringe.

"Well...Like...that's good to hear..." Light Shimmer emulated her as she leaned closer to Sonata who copied and met her lips with her own.

Sonata felt a huge spike of power hit her body like a lighting bolt as her tongue touched Light Shimmer's and she was instantly hers. Sonata leaned into the kiss and let Light Shimmer's small but strong arms fully hold onto her.

Since yesterday Sonata Dusk the siren had done nothing but think about how to approach the powerful girl that she fallen for on site. Sonata Dusk had done nothing but think about the girl with the earthen skin all day and night, and then to her surprise found that she was crazier about Light Shimmer's more approachable look, yet she saw the same look of innocence and wonder that Light gave everything she looked at.
Sonata had been single for so long that she had forgotten about love in a sexual way hundreds of years ago, only until lately she had rediscovered friendship love with Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer, yes of course she loved her sisters, no matter how much they teased she knew they loved her the same. In the short time she had spent with Light Shimmer she had become more infatuated with her, the shy smile, her arms, her body her beautiful eyes, the way she talked as she struggled to keep a modern accent and slowly reverted to ancient English and all of this in a short little package of a girl that held her together. Above all Sonata loved how Light Shimmer looked at her, like a girl that had discovered a precious item inside her worse enemy. If their first kiss had any indication of their relationship's future, this would last forever, if they had been anywhere less public she probably wouldn't have held back and just let Light take all of her right there.

Light Shimmer couldn't believe Sonata was kissing her back so passionately, and it instantly cause Light Shimmer to respond the same way and their kiss blew her mind as her hair turned to grass leaving her skin the normal yellow. Light Shimmer gently levitated a few inches from the ground in order to reach Sonata's height and take a little more control of the kiss.
The last half a day had been perfect and Sonata had just intoxicated Light Shimmer with her personality, not to mention her looks and mannerisms, she felt relaxed as she read Sonata thoughts that saw them been a couple until she couldn't think anymore.

Light Shimmer pulled away gently from the kiss to meet Sonata's eyes.

"Girlfriend hey?...you don't have to even ask." Light smiled. "Like, after that kiss there is any need for that question." She blushed.

"Hehe...ah yeah you can read minds...well I like, like it!" Sonata planted a quick kiss on her new girlfriend.

"Okay...good thing that wasn't awkward at all girls." Spike deadpanned as he sat waiting. "Yep, I'm still here...waiting for both of you to come back for air." He teased the quickly blushing girls.

"OMG sorry Spiky!" Sonata looked down at Spike without letting go of Light's embraced arms around her waist.

"Hey there Sonata long time no see...hope we're not interrupting anything too important." Adagio Dazzle's voice came from behind Light Shimmer as it sent a rasping chill up her spine that paled in comparison to that of the creatures she had just vanquished.

"Ah crap." Spike deadpanned. "dun duh duuuh." He hummed without emotion.

Author's Notes:

I usually write action sci-fi so I'm glad to be finally using a little bit more of it in the following chapters as Atlas Moon begins to show her face a little more :) After spending a while on who to ship Light Shimmer with I felt the underused Sonata Dusk would be perfect because of her likeness and her childlike ability to just take things on as they come.

"Okay Sunset let's head back to the cafe and see what Sonata did with your sister." Rainbow Dash smiled as he flung her arm over Sunset's head as always for the after practice brah hug.

"That sounded totally wrong, you know." Sunset Shimmer laughed it off.

"Or did it?" Dash teased. "She is at that age right and Sonata has that pretty hot bimbo thing going."

"Hmm...let's change the subject of my little sister's sex life." She slightly snapped at a laughing Rainbow Dash.

"You know its weird seen you act this way Sunny, until last night you didn't have a sister...now you're this overprotective big sis...kinda envious of Light to be honest, you know." She shook Sunset left and right a little like a rag doll.

"Okay okay...I see what you mean...but it's a great feeling." Sunset Shimmer smiled at Rainbow Dash as she got her bearings back.

"So...this is another of your new stooges..." A girl walked towards Dash and Sunset with a slight limp and hunched posture. "Guess you're getting ready to face me a lot faster than I thought Stoney." Atlas Moon's voice filled the empty corridor that lead out of the changing rooms.

"Stoney? who the heck are you!?" Rainbow Dash stood ready to fight "I think you forgot to take your meds today girl...now move along before I move you along."

"My my, this one's a feisty fleshling, Stone Hammer...not like the little siren that just stood there frozen." It laughed as two more creatures joined it from within the walls shadows.

"What!? Sonata? Wait! What the hell did you do to my sister!" Instantly Sunset Shimmer was transformed into her power avatar as anger and fear flared out of her.

"Sister...wait...you're not Stone Hammer!" Atlas Moon cackled loudly. "You're her...sister was it?...oh this is going to be sweet revenge indeed...I don't fully understand how this came to be, but it makes things a lot more fun indeed. Destroy this creatures immediately...make the yellow one scream in death!!" The middle creature ordered the now eight mobs that had accumulated.

"Ha! you're in for a show now ugly!" Shouted Rainbow Dash as she jumped in the air and instantly transformed to her winged power avatar, she flew straight to the middle of the group of mobs and destroyed a few by crashing into them at massive speed. Sunset Shimmer stood at a distance and began to throw rainbow colored energy balls at them while avoiding to hit the blur that was Rainbow Dash with ease.

"They just keep coming!!" She shouted after Rainbow Dash. "What the hell!?" Sunset stopped to analyse their surrounding as twice the number of creatures now surrounded them.

"Then we just keep hitting them!" Rainbow Dash said determined as she swung her fists and used power clotheslines to take the creatures out.

"Not gonna lie! we look awesome!" Shouted Sunset as she continued to destroy mob after mob with a smirk on her face. "But we need a plan...let me think on it before they overrun us!"

Suddenly a bright green flash filled the corridor and there stood Light Shimmer's avatar, her unstable crackling sword unsheathed and ready to destroy. Rainbow and Sunset stopped and looked at Light Shimmer slightly confused but also relieved.

"Sonata now!" She looked at Sonata who instantly jumped towards her and became the wisp from earlier surrounding Light Shimmer like a speedy atom.

Light Shimmer turned to the crowd of mobs and signaled Rainbow Dash to cover her ears as she positioned herself ready to scream. Dash flew to Sunset Shimmer's side and they covered their ears as hard as possible as the Earthen girl shouted a musical note like a banshee that hit all in its path and tore them to the black sprinkles from earlier.

The loud shriek ceased and Sonata jumped back into her normal form to land on Light's arms like a new bride.

"You're awesome..." Sonata said dreamily at her new girlfriend as she gave Light's nose a quick kiss.

"That was the both of us silly." Light Shimmer kissed her forehead gently and put her down.

"Wait! what! how...who was...Lightness Andrea Shimmer!" Sunset walked towards her younger sibling slightly angry but also happy to see her.

"Ouch! I hate when you call me that!" Light Shimmer turned to Sunset and Rainbow Dash.

"Andrea?" Sonata tilted her head at Light who scrunched her nose shyly.

"Guys not now! Light can you just explain that...whatever attacked us just now!" Rainbow Dash tried to avoid the siblings new strange interactions that seemed more natural by the minute.

"I can tell you that better than your little shaman, Rainbow Crash!" Adagio Dazzle stepped forwards followed by her sister Aria.

"Oh great! you guys are here too...one thing at a time please!" Sunset looked at Light then down at her intertwined hands with Sonata. "Just couldn't resist the siren, hey?" She smirked. "You work fast sis." She teased.

"Actually...like, it was mostly me." Sonata Dusk looked at the floor shyly.

"Miss Sonata Dusk wow...that's a first." Rainbow Dash chuckled. "But...NAILED it!" She looked at Sunset and winked.

"Erm...bimbos, back to the problem at hand please." Adagio took over the conversation in her usual aggressive manner.

"Sorry, sorry 'fro-girl. Go ahead and enlighten us then." Rainbow Dash looked at the two new sirens with a stern look.

"Okay guys lets put the bs aside for now please...we all like to be alive right?...and if we wanna keep it that way we're going to have to work together." Light Shimmer ordered as she stood between the sirens and the Rainbooms. "If I can put aside the past with Adagio I'm sure you guys will be just fine." She frowned at Adagio who looked to the ground guiltily.

"Okay Stone...you're in charge...for now...but we're going to have a chat later about this whole you and Sonata thing." She pointed between Sonata and Light Shimmer.

"Sure whatever...I get the whole big sister thing...I'm sure Sunset wants to talk to us too...hey you never know...we might be dead by then anyways." Smirked Light Shimmer as her and Sonata giggled between themselves "And my name is Light Shimmer, Adagio...the Stone Hammer you knew is gone." She concluded.

"Babe, for all our sake's, I hope not in strength." Adagio showed a slight unnerved look to her usual confident expression. "For the newcomers here...those where wretches...kinda like ghouls that Atlas Moon can create at will and control like puppets to do her bidding while she's elsewhere." Adagio walked up to Sunset and taped her friendly on the shoulder. "The only way to destroy them is to kill them all at once as you just witnessed."

"Yeah no shi...." Spike began and was interrupted by Rainbow Dash.

"Yeah yeah yeah...But more importantly...Light did you have a lightsaber with you earlier!" Rainbow Dash couldn't contain her excitement.

"Ah what?" Light Shimmer looked confused.

"A sword made of light!" Dash continued as she pretended to use a sword.

"Rainbow, seriously...now?" Sunset turned to her captain with a smile.

"Enough...let's get the rest of you losers together before Atlas get's a chance to take you out one by one." Aria decided to finally join the conversation.

"Fair point Aria...good to see you're doing well." Rainbow Dash deadpanned.

"Ah you know how it is Dashy...been an ex-evil bitch is a demanding task." Aria deadpanned back as Rainbow Dash smiled and gave Aria a one armed hug.

"It's is good to see you!" Rainbow Dash confessed as Aria smiled as much as her grim face allowed her to.

"Ditto, you goof." Aria's face finally showing emotion as she play punched Rainbow Dash's shoulder.

Equestria at the Castle of Friendship library

"We have exhausted every possible route!" Princess Twilight finally rested her head muzzle down into a book in defeat.

"Well...someone once said that when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth." Spike walked up to Princess Twilight holding a huge book.

"Really? Who said that!?" Princess Twilight looked up from her book shocked at Spike's remark.

"I dunno, some dude." Spike dismissed it as he placed the book on the table in front of the Princess of Friendship.

The purple alicorn looked at it puzzled then looked at Spike with a not amused smirk.

"Fantasy & Fables of Equestria and Beyond?" She read out loud. "This is fiction...and children's fiction at that...there's nothing in here Spike." She conclude exhausted.

"C'mon Twi just try it already...not like you have anything else to go by." He deadpanned at the drowsy princess.

"Fine...let's give it a go Spike...at least it will be a relaxing read after all this searching." She admitted in defeat as she began to read.

"I'll make some waffles." Spike said cheerfully as he walked out of the library with purpose.

"Oooh waffles sounds good." Princess Twilight instantly perked up.

They say Equestrian magic just came to be by some miracle many eons ago, but some of us know better. The legend of the Throne Of Elements and The Watchers Circle is one I will be telling until my final breaths, as if it not for their sacrifice of everything...we would have nothing.

The Ancient Titan Atlas Moon and her brother Kronos had grown envious of the worlds the Watchers had created in their respective realms. Thunder Sparkle leader of the Watchers Circle kept vigil over Equestria while his sister Diamond Razor ruled over Asgard the land of the gods, her beauty had no equal in any realm. Steel Gazer the biggest and strongest of them all was beloved in his land of Jotunheim and his brother Ice Skyrunner watched gently over Alfheim the land of elves. Midgard was left to the newest and youngest of all the watchers, the only one without a royal blood line, chosen by The One Etrium from within the most advance race in Midgard, Stone Hammer was the bravest and selfless of them all, also according to prophecy she was key to the Titan's destruction.

Groomed from a very early age Stone Hammer knew she was destined to face the Titans and possibly meet her demise in order for all realms to continue to exist. Etrium took it on himself to care of her while she gained the powers of a watcher. She was a humble soul with love and wonder for all life on Midgard. The innocence of Stone Hammer struck a chord with Thunder Sparkle who loved her like a daughter so much that he helped her create so many of Midgard's races.

When the moment for battle arose, the watchers stood ready for it. Alas to their surprise nothing had prepared them for the Titans love for death & destruction, the Titans chose to act in Equestria as the magic there was at it's strongest and their acts of destruction would be immeasurable.

Kronos destroyed the connection between Alfheim and Asgard when he slay Ice Skyrunner in fierce combat, he injured Diamond Razor in the same process leaving her with only fraction of her power. Kronos would not have stopped if not for the resolute effort of Stone Hammer and her Light Blade of Eternity that finally pierced the Titan's heart and impaled him against the Mountain of Sorrow. As Kronos lay dying he tried to reverse time but Stone Hammer with the help of the injured Diamond Razor sacrificed her immortality to put an end to him, leaving her weak and unable to fully control her massive outbursts of power.

Atlas Moon shrieked at her brother's death as Thunder Sparkle and Steel Gazer tried with all their might to stop her wanton destruction of Equestria...when it was all but lost, Atlas Moon prepared to destroy the core of Equestria and with it all the magic of all realms. The remaining watchers concentrated all their powers and life force onto Stone Hammer's Light Blade of Eternity for a final explosive lunge. With the Watcher's combined powers, Stone Hammer, now a huge Earth and Life colt took her final jump into the abyss of Atlas Moon's destruction, with the knowledge it would be her life's final act.
Stone Hammer's selfless act finally pierced the Titan's armor creating an explosion that was to be the cataclysm to all life we now know in Equestria and the birth of our magic.

With his last breath Thunder Sparkle protected his beloved Stone Hammer from death by placing her into stasis that would allow her to be re-awoken once her powers could be controlled.

The era of the watchers came to an end as Equestrian royalty placed Stone Hammer in a safe chamber ready for her to be risen once someone understood a way to control her powers.

The One Etrium depicted with his final words to all realms that no monuments would give the Watchers actions justice, and their monument was all around its citizens and races, you had only to look around to see their victory. With this words Etrium retreated to the nether to only watch over the realms without interfering...leaving all lifeforms to their own devices and allowing his Watchers Circle to go into myth and legend.

This event is the cataclysm, it was the dawn of our time...a time where we no longer have connection with other realms or powers like the Titans to endure. Ponies walked Equestria as a new evolved yet smaller species, their magic beautiful yet weaker than before, everything in balance now, our weather and time having to be manually controlled.

"SPIKE!" Princess Twilight looked up from the fable with teary eyes as Spike scoffed waffles way too fast. "How did you find this!?" She questioned in relief.

"I just ran out of books to give you..." He gulped his food. "Did it help?" He questioned.

"Did it ever...you're the best!" she began to gallop out the library. "We need to bring Sunset and Light Shimmer across the portal now!" Spike grabbed a waffle in each hand and chased after the energetic purple alicorn.

Soo. I love writing the Siren's dialogue and cant wait for them to come into their own as danger grows.
I finally got a chance to vehicle the myth of the cataclysm in a very shorten story...but plan to flashback into it a lot more down the line.

The Shimmer Sisters In Equestria

Sunset Shimmer and Applejack's dorm room

Sunset Shimmer sat at the table alone as the two girls slept soundly, Applejack now back in her own bed while Light Shimmer lay on Sunset's bunk loudly snoring, Sunset smiled as she tried to relax her busy mind.
She was still digesting everything that had happened this past few days, all now seemed further in the past than it actually was. She no longer understood a life without her younger sister, she had always been there as far as she was concerned, Etrium's spell was complete and both girls shared a unbreakable bond. Twilight Sparkle had finally concluded it would be best to just treat Light as Sunset's little sister that had come live with her, she had a feeling their bond would be an important key to their conflict with Atlas Moon.

The Wretches that had attacked them two days ago had not come calling again since Light had dispatched them at the football grounds, yet students on campus had started to go missing. As for Light Shimmer, apart from using her magic to woo Sonata Dusk even more with little cute gestures of kindness, she had fully reverted to a regular teenage girl with a slight disconnected mentality to society due to her inexperience in modern day. She hadn't used her magic for anything but to create the food she ate and talk to animals.

The sirens had updated everyone at the cafe the very same night they had arrived, their news was something Sunset couldn't shake off, the image of her sister been completely destroyed by Atlas Moon haunted her more than it did Light it seemed. Adagio had explained that it was a mere vision not a prediction, this seemed put the group a little more at ease. No matter how annoying Adagio Dazzle was, Sunset Shimmer was happy to have all three sirens around now that they were all in danger. Princess Twilight had made contact to let her know no new information had been discovered about the cataclysm created by Stone Hammer and the Titans during the last battle, in return Sunset Shimmer had explained the emergence of Light Shimmer.

Princess Twilight Sparkle had instantly gained an interest in the Shimmer sisters magical relationship and asked them to come across the portal in order to see if she could investigate it a little more.

Sunset Shimmer walked to stand over her little sister who had started to stir uncomfortably and mumbling inaudible words, she watched her with love and then gently sat next to her and gently woke her.

"Sunset!" She instantly sat up and gave her sister a scared embrace, she was trembling and sweaty.

"What's a matter? you seem agitated." Sunset Shimmer held her tightly and rocked her gently.

"I'm gonna die aren't I." Light Shimmer's voice was voided of all fear, just plain and straight to the point, eyes filled with silent tears but also absolute resolution in them.

"No baby!" Sunset felt her heart tug really hard at the words. "I will never let that happen! we will protect you always." Sunset looked up to see Applejack sat at her bed looking back at them with a pained expression. Sunset motion Applejack to come to sit with them. The orange farm girl followed suit and as she joined the hug spoke gently.

"Ata girl, it'll be alright, ya'll see." She consoled Light and Sunset who seemed pretty worried at the thought of loosing her little sister. "Ah don' share the memories ya both do, but ya'll family to me now so ah won' stop protecting yah ever."

Light Shimmer wanted it to be okay, but she knew better, at least Stone Hammer did...the last loved ones that helped her ended up been destroyed. She knew she was designed as a weapon to stop Titans, she had been groomed from birth for it, she knew she wouldn't grow old with her lover, nor have children nor gently pass away in her sleep. This was her destiny, Thunder Sparkle had saved her from it once already and it seemed that it was just destiny, while she was around Titans would be too...this was her conclusion.
Light Shimmer's memories as of her past life and Stone Hammer still swam around in her head like small flashbacks of some other persons life trying to remind her of important past events.

"Can you call Sonata for me please?" Light asked as the three of them finally released their hug.

"Of course...just don't keep her awake too long...she's awful when she is tired..." Sunset Shimmer smiled at her younger sibling.

"She sure is...an' she falls asleep everywhere like a hen poaching eggs." Applejack smiled as she returned to her bed smiling.

"I just want to hear her voice." Whispered a shy Light.

"Why don't you just port over there?" Sunset Shimmer teased as Light seemed to muse at the idea.

"What time will ya'll be heading through the portal tomorrow?" Asked AJ as she sat cross legged on her bed.

"Princess Twi said around noon would be the best as they will all be waiting." Sunset Shimmer sat on her bed. "Please keep my diary with you at all times AJ, anything happens and you write me asap, we will be with you as fast as Light can port us." Sunset stressed at her best friend.

"Yeah yeah, dont'cha worry 'bout us...let's just see what Princess Twilight can figure out." AJ lay back on her pillow.

"Sonata says it's okay to go..." Light had joy back in her voice.

"Okay Lightness, make sure you're back for breakfast okay? I have no lessons tomorrow and would like to spend my time with you preparing until we go through the portal." Sunset Shimmer smiled. "Say hi to Sonata and Twi from us." She smiled as Light Shimmer created the usual flash of green light to teleport and was gone.

"Erm Sunset that's the first time she's sleeping at Sonata's dorm..." AJ deadpanned and then faked coughed as Sunset's smiled quickly faded and she reached for her phone to text Twilight to keep an eye on her sister and girlfriend. "Ouch being blocked by yer sister...that's evil Sunny." AJ laughed.

"I know! It's just...argh...I'm been overprotective again! she's old enough to do whatever she wants." She corrected herself and text Twilight another message telling her not to worry about it. Within a few seconds Twilight Sparkle replied telling her she wasn't home and was staying with Timber Spruce. Sunset Shimmer swallowed silently and then lifted the phone to AJ so she could read it.

"OOOH Sonata is in fer a night at the rodeo." Laughed AJ as she quickly raised her eyebrows cheekily.

"APPLEJACK JEEZ!" Sunset Shimmer shouted as she threw her pillow at AJ who caught it and began to pretend to make out with it.

"Oh Light...Like, please...more...right there....nearly there...nearly...oh LIKE, O.M.G!" AJ mimicked Sonata's dizzy voice in pleasure as she pretended to climax.

"You can be such an ass AJ!! I don't wanna hear that ewww!" Sunset Shimmer playfully covered her ears with her other pillow and threw herself face first onto her bed and both laughed until their stomach's ached.

Noon next day at Equestria's Castle of Friendship.

Sunset Shimmer caught her bearings as she stepped out of the portal to be back in her homeland, she had visited many times since she had become part of Princess Twilight's group of friends. She took a few steps forwards and loved the sound of her hoofs on the marble floor.

"Hey there Twi, you might wanna step back a bit." Sunset Shimmer smiled at a puzzled Princess of Friendship as a pink hoof popped from the portal, than another hoof before it was pulled back again and then suddenly Pinkie Pie was thought the portal with a jump as her curly mane sprang to life with a bounce.

"Oh wow...two of them..." Princess Twilight looked at Sunset with slight horror.

"Don't worry." Sunset Shimmer consoled her with a smile. "But she insisted in coming this time...and...erm I can't really say no to my special somepony..." Sunset Shimmer blushed as Twilight smiled at her.

Pinkie Pie hopped up to Twilight and gave her a huge hug before standing next to Sunset and nuzzling her.

"THIS IS SO AWESOME!!" She shouted exited as she examined her own body. "Oooh cutie mark!!!" She said as she saw her flank.

"Wait...that's not..." Sunset Shimmer caught the fact that her Pinkie Pie had a different cutey mark to her Equestrian counter part. The new mare Pinkie Pie had a drum kit and confetti on her flank.

"Guess that explains a lot really." the Princess of Friendship looked closely at Pinkie Pie's flank.

"Erm....sis I get that you love Pinkie Pie and all, but why are you all staring at her butt?" Came a voice from behind the three mares as Princess Twilight quickly turned expecting a site similar to that of Stone Hammer, instead there stood a short athletic looking young mare, same color as Sunset's fur with short red mane and the same facial features as that of a younger Sunset Shimmer.

"Stone Hammer?" Princess Twilight questioned as she looked at the young mare. "Wow...you really did change." She trotted closer to Light.

"Your Highness, it's an honor to be in your presence again, even if it is as a mortal." Light Shimmer bowed respectfully.

"Light Shimmer....the honor is still and will always be mine, your form may have changed but your deeds remain the same...and now I hear you're one of my closest friends sibling...that makes you part of my family too." Princess Twilight spoke in a much adult and royal manner than Sunset Shimmer and Pinkie Pie where accustomed to.

"Huh, you wont treat her with so much grace when you see her acting in a few moments..." Sunset Shimmer walked up to Twilight. "She is just a annoying little teenmare." Sunset teased as she nuzzled her younger sibling then helped her back up from her bow.

"Sunset...not in front of the princess." Light Shimmer gritted through her teeth embarrassed as she herself examined her new form. Princess Twilight tried to process Sunset and Light's interactions...they where so, for lack of a better word, real. Light Shimmer formerly Stone Hammer, probably the strongest magical power in all the realms was now a teenmare and younger sibling to one of her best friends. "This will take a little getting used too." She concluded with a smiled as she looked at the Shimmer sisters as they stood next to each other with a puzzled look, so similar that they look more like twins. "Okay...maybe it won't." Twilight added as she saw their resemblances.

"Ooooh...No cutie mark?" Pinkie Pie was next to Light Shimmer's flank.

"What? how is that possible?" Sunset Shimmer took a look for herself. "Wow...you late bloomer you." She teased.

"I don't think that is the case here Sunset." Princess Luna walked into the room, Light Shimmer instantly took a deep bow and this time pulled her sister down with her much to Sunset's surprise.

"Lightness!" Sunset pulled herself back up. "We don't bow like that around our friends!" She corrected the young mare and nuzzled her back to her four legs.

"But...Princess Luna..." Light seemed beyond embarrassed and her face was a bright shade of pink.

"Sunset is correct, Light Shimmer." Princess Luna smiled at her with a nod. "Thou is no longer a shaman nor watcher. You may do as you please....and I would love to be known as your friend." Luna's grace was magnificent as Light Shimmer blushed.

"Oh wow...look at you...amazing!" Pinkie Pie popped from behind Princess Luna as she examined the Alicorn's wings and beautiful dark blue sparkling mane.

"Pinkie Pie?...how erm...unexpected..." Luna looked at Sunset Shimmer with a raised eyebrow.

"It's a long story...." Sunset looked to the ground a little guilty.

"Hehe...you bet it is." Light Shimmer snickered with a nudge to her sister.

"It's okay Princess Luna, there's enough differences between our Pinkie and this one to be keep everything under wraps...as long as they don't see each other and cause mayhem." Princess Twilight mused.

"You can call me Diane Pie if it'll make it easier." Pinkie Pie was now standing next to her marefriend and wore big framed glasses and a baseball cap.

"Good idea...Diane." Light Shimmer said a little strangely. "That sound's strange....where did you find those glasses...and hat?"

"It sure does Andrea." Sunset Shimmer agreed with a smile.

"Ugh Sunset!" Light snapped as Princess Luna and Twilight chuckled a little.

"Weird right?" Twilight lean over to Luna.

"Agreed." Luna smiled. "But everything that's comes from magic has a reason to be." She concluded. "And by the by...where did Pinkie get them props from?"

"Erm don't ask...just never ask." Princess Twilight smiled as she looked at her friends.

The Sirens & The Agent

Canterlot Royal Hotel, Earth.

"So you didn't think following your girl to Equestria was a good idea?" Aria Blaze sat in the hotel suite's coffee table with a sulking Sonata Dusk.

"Nowy...we wanted to go together but Sunset pointed out that my Equestrian form would probably scare too many ponies..." Sonata mumbled.

"Hehehe....she's probably right, I do miss my awesome terrifying old self." Adagio Dazzle made a fist pump with a slight frown then looked back at a sunken Sonata. "Oh jeez Sonnie...she's only gonna be gone for a day or so..." Adagio placed a hand on her sister's shoulder with an out of place show of kindness that Aria raised an eyebrow too.

"Getting soft in your old age Addi?" Aria smirked. "She is just been a love sick puppy...ignore it." Adagio turned to her with a snap and frowned which made Aria back off instantly, she knew not to argue with the eldest sister Adagio Dazzle.

"Hate to admit it...Aria is a little bit right Sonata...we have to investigate something tonight...this is straight from Twilight Sparkle so we gotta give it our all...I need to you spark up a little bit, okay." Adagio was incredibly out of place and yet trying to keep her voice ice cold. She walked towards the minibar and Aria decided to follow her.

"Adagio are you okay...you seem off...and s-supportive?" Aria whispered as Sonata didn't pay them attention and just played on her phone.

"How many times have you seen Sonata like this?" Adagio dismissed Aria's previous question and met her with a stern look.

"Erm...never I guess..." Aria sounded a little disgusted.

"Exactly! cut her some slack...your little sister's in love for the first time and you been kind of a bitch about it...you'd think that would be my job." She stated as Aria felt a little shame.

"Fine...I guess you're right..." Aria rubbed her arm. "And BTW...do you know where Adagio got to?" She smirked.

"Do I have to kick your ass to show you where she is." The vicious venom voice responded calmly and cold as Aria raised her eyebrows slightly.

"No, no I'm good...now lead us on patrol." Aria smirked as she picked up a bag of jelly babies and headed to Sonata. Adagio saw Aria sit closer to her sister and instantly realized she was trying to cheer her up.

"Guess we are human after all..." Adagio thought to herself. "Ugh...I feel slightly sick." She made a glass of water levitate towards her. "Ah yes...but then there is the magic." She smirked.

That night Aria had a special request from Twilight Sparkle to perform, there had been crazy reading coming from the Canterlot High portal that had her worried, specially right now with Pinkie, Sunset and Light visiting the Equestria.

The knock at the door woke Adagio up from her nap, she sat up and looked towards her two sisters who lay asleep on the couch, Aria sat up head tilted backwards with Sonata resting with her head on her lap and pulling her body up into a ball.

"Get in here Twilight..." Adagio ordered in her usual manner as she edged to the end of her bed contemplating putting her boots on, she just sat there looking at her bare yellow feet trying to wake up.

"H-hey Adagio, sorry if you were sleeping...but you know...we gotta...s-start heading..." Twilight Sparkle walked in and made her way towards Adagio's bed and stood at the end.

"You do realized you didn't say anything just know...the whole walk to me from the door was a bunch of blah blah blah." Adagio deadpanned at her slightly amused.

"I did wake you didn't I...you're grouchier than normal." Twilight Sparkle narrowed her eyes as she fidgeted with her glasses. "You feeling ready for this...it seems Equestria is somehow leaking energy...that or Atlas Moon is siphoning it...either way we gotta find a way to stop it." She lifted a medallion spectrum reader similar to the one from the one she had created for the Friendship Games, this one was much more modern with its own LED touch screen. "And the readings go wild at around midnight." She concluded.

"Interesting." Adagio mused as Twilight lit up.

"Really!? Well in that case..." She began and Adagio stood up quickly.

"Nope...that's sarcasm Twi...jeez it's like you just met me or something..." Adagio smirked at the shot. "But all joking aside, I am glad you found the origin of it...I may have an idea of what it is." Adagio was interrupted by Aria's snores and she quickly levitated what remained of her glass of water and emptied it all over Aria's face.

"C'MON!" Aria jumped to her feet as Sonata was thrown of her, Twilight caught her with telekinesis before she hit the ground. "Adagio! one of these days...I'm gonna let Sonata teach you a lesson..." She trailed off as she composed herself.

"Gotta be evil to someone you know." Adagio smiled as Twilight Sparkle giggled a little.

"You're not evil silly..." Twilight nudged Adagio with a smile.

"You have no idea Twi..." Adagio smirked.

"Okay you two...enough lovey dovey friendship crap...let's get going." Aria used magic to dry her face and hair back to her usual makeup as Sonata gave Twilight a big hug.

"How you holding up?" Twilight Sparkle smiled at her best friend.

"Meh...like, strangely lonely." Sonata answered a little deflated.

"You know what that means right?" She winked at Sonata while nudging Adagio again.

"Yeah...probably really hungry...I need tacos...can we stop at Taco Bell on the way?" Sonata smiled at the prospect of food as Adagio gave Twilight a side glance that expressed her thoughts.

"No brain...no pain...I've told you before Twilight...she's the worse." Adagio began to put her boots on as Twilight smiled at seen her three friends in their normal environment, she had missed them this college term, especially Adagio...no matter how they tried to keep the whole Evil Sirens thing going...she knew she owned them her life.

The night was dark, darker than usual and the clouds along with the city pollution covered the light of the stars. Adagio Dazzle made her hand glow like a torch to lead the way as Twilight Sparkle and Sonata tried to read the Magic Spectrum Reader or as Twilight called it...the MSR.

"We're been watched." Aria spoke as she approached Adagio.

"Pinpoint it." Ordered Adagio as she walked closer to Twilight and Sonata. "Twi, Sonni. Aria spotted something...stay close to me okay." She looked at Twilight with a serious expression.

"Ok Addi." Twilight blushed slightly as Sonata nodded really fast. "Don't forget thou...I can fight too." She smiled.

"I know that Twi, but you need to research all this crap...and I don't know any of that...so you're more valuable right now." Adagio said as a matter of fact.

"Sound logic." Twilight Sparkle nodded and continued searching. Adagio knew Twilight would never argue with logic, that's what she liked the most about her.

The shadows had crept up around them as they continued exploring the portal statue.

"Adagio! something's not right!" Aria instantly shouted to her sisters as from within their circle Wretches popped out of the shadows like daisies.

"Hold your ground girls!" Shouted Adagio as she broke into a entrancing song towards a couple of wretches that began to fight each other.
The other two Sirens emulates their leader and Twilight Sparkle's avatar stretched her wings as she blasted as many wretches as she could, but their numbers where unusually high.
The Wretch sneaked up on Aria and was about to bite her neck when a massive sound exploded from the shadows and the Wretch's head blew up instantly before it dissolved.

"Jesus! H Christ!" Shouted Aria as she turned to see her assassin die, she turned back to try and see what was that but she heard something else. "FOOTSTEPS!" She shouted in song form as she aimed her voice at more targets.

The footsteps where fast, really fast and the silhouette that they belonged to was running with a slight forwards crouch, arms stretched back in a V -shape until it reached the Sirens and powerful brainbox. With a swift motion a sword was unsheathed that instantly reflected what little light the moon was giving out. Five swipes later and no Wretches were standing close to them anymore...still many left but this gave the girls time to breath as the new group member stood in the middle of them, still darkness covered his features and a long trench coat his shape.

The stranger stood perfectly still with a huge Katana sword pointing down and a scabbard on his back, he moved his head to analyze his enemies and then pulled a massive revolver from his coat and head-shot three Wretches.

"Sirens!" He ordered, a young rugged voice made all three sirens pay attention. "I'll round them up and you blast them!" He shouted as he moved so fast towards the wretches the girls couldn't keep up.

"You heard him!" Adagio beckoned her sisters closer, there was something familiar about the strangers voice.

The stranger swiped left and right while firing his magnum revolver at other wretches until he had them in a single place, the Sirens instantly saw their opening and blasted the wretches with a powerful banshee note that left nothing in its path.

"Is that all of em?" Aria looked for the stranger.

"Looks like it girls...that note never gets old..." Twilight Sparkle walked towards them still in her avatar form.

"Where is he?" Adagio joined Aria in her search. Suddenly deep coughing came from behind the statue followed by the sound of a zippo lighter and then the light of a cigarette hovered towards them until the stranger was within view.

"Hello ladies...I thought it was about time we met." He coughed slightly as he inhaled his Marlboro. "I'm agent Shadow Sun, part of a organization that polices strange phenomena on earth...their name will remain undisclosed for now." The girls eyes widened instantly at the site of the boy, he was short and thin, red and yellow hair in an undercut that covered his left eye, his yellow skin slightly unhealthy looking and a gaunt look on his face.

"The heck does that mean?" Adagio demanded. "How do you know what we are!" She snapped.

"Adagio." Twilight Sparkle held her hand to calm her down. "He just helped us defeat them wretches." She calmed her friend down.

"Twilight Sparkle...It's a honor to finally meet you in person." he said as he bowed a little. "The same goes for you three Sirens." they looked at him still in shock. "Don't look so shocked ladies...did you think the government isn't aware of your existence?" He smirked. "I know everything that's happening and then probably some more."

"How is that possible?" Twilight Sparkle looked confused but had a twinkle in her eye as to all the information this agent may possess.

"All in due time...for now let's get..." Shadow Sun coughed violently but controlled it quickly. "Get out of here and I'll explain as much as my cover allows me too." He tried to dismiss the girls look at his health.

"But the readings on my MSR!" Twilight Sparkle demanded.

"As Adagio already can tell you...that's Atlas Moon trying to break the portal connection in order to fully merge our realm and Equestria...there is nothing we can do about it apart from try and stop the Titan faster." Shadow Sun looked at Adagio Dazzle.

"He's right Twilight, at least we know this is where she's choosing to pinpoint it, all we can do is try to keep her from bringing any of the hostages she is siphoning energy from and using them here." Adagio placed a hand on Twilight's shoulder. "C'mon seems like it's gonna rain...let's head back to the hotel." Adagio looked up a the sky and felt the humidity hit her skin.

My sister, my Pinkie Pie and Pinkie Pie

Equestria Castle of Friendship.

Princess Twilight circled around her lab as she read a levitating manuscript and at the same time inspected my sister. She had explained to us that she could sense our bond radiating from us stronger than that of her and her friends...this made me happy to hear as now I didn't really remember a life without Light Shimmer in it.

"I think Etrium has a plan he has yet to show us." Light spoke quietly to break the silence as myself and Pinkie sat at the table reading the book Spike had discovered the cataclysm information from. I just couldn't get my head around how my little innocent sister was supposed to be this incredibly powerful deity, I mean okay I have seen her do some amazing things with her magic while doing our night patrols lately...something I'm still getting used to...but this book describes her attacking a colossal Titan head on!

"I'm still trying to understand Etrium's plan for the coming events...the book says he no longer takes sides nor involvement in all the realms affairs." Princess Twilight stopped examining Light an sat next to her. "I must say I love your pony form...you really have a huge likeness to your sister." She smiled as she switched glances between myself and Light.

"You flatter me, your majesty." Light bowed her head gently.

"C'mon Light, stop been so proper...you're making it hard to be friendly with you..." The Princess of Friendship smiled at the former Shaman who instantly blushed. "Sooo...I hear you fell for Sonata...that's a first..." I knew Twilight had my sister in her sights for teasing now, I wasn't going to miss this chance.

"Yeah, we thought Sonata was kinda A-sexual for a while...she never showed interest in anyone in that way." I added as Light became purple with her blushing.

"Well...I...erm...she's just so perfect...how can she have been single so long!" Light stammered out. "She is so loving and sweet too..."

"She is pretty crazy about you, Light...I don't think I've ever seen her so happy." My Pinkie Pie spoke. "And she definitely can't get enough of you...I mean the other night..." And I had to cut the conversation.

"Okay honey...TMI...still a little disturbed about it..." I recalled the night and the sounds...

"Erm...really...don't go there..." Light turned from me to Twilight. "Pinkie isn't the quiet type...FYI she is the incredibly loud and fast to finish type." She smirked as Princess Twilight raised a hoof to her lips to giggle.

"Yeap! Fast & Loud." My Pinkie skipped on the spot happy as...as..Pie I guess...no signs of embarrassment nor blushing...guess I was doing enough for both of us. "Sunny does rock my world thou to be fair." She dazed as I face-hoofed with too much embarrassment to cope.

"It's a shame Sonata couldn't make it, considering she is best friends with Twi...I've never really talked to her much." The Princess sat at a nice table that had been laid out by Spike earlier with nice tea and treats.

"So...erm are we done your highness?" My little sister asked as she walked towards Twilight.

"Yep...I see nothing out of the ordinary...you two...for now at least...are a beautiful mystery." She smiled at us as my heart skipped a beat with happiness.

We decided to head into Ponyville to say hello to some of our other friends and I was exited to introduce them all to my sister too. First stop was Rarity's shop and she was there with Spike who was helping her with the usual starry eyes.

"Thank you darling." Rarity kissed his forehead as he handed her a drink before turning to us.

"I see both of you getting on as always." Smiled Twilight as she stopped to turn towards Light. "Rarity you met Stone Hammer before...she is now Light Shimmer." Rarity had to double take at my sis.

"Wow truly astonishing creature you are darling!" Rarity was close to Light with a couple of elegant strides. "Your features are so strong and elegant! like a sporty Sunset!" She smiled at me.

"Hey Rar! I am sporty!" I argued in pretend shock, I knew what she meant.

"Of course darling, what I mean...well look at her." She tapped Light's hind legs with her right hoof to show off her solid muscles.

"Yeah yeah I get it...she’s a beast." I smiled as Light flexed her hind legs and raised her eyebrows mockingly at me.

"Thank you Rarity, you look so much like your human counterpart." Light smiled at her as Pinkie jumped in between them exited.

"Do me do me!" She said as she hopped in place, Rarity raised her eyebrows.

"Pinkie Pie...what happened to your fur?" She questioned.

"Guess Spike hasn't told you...this is earth's Pinkie Pie." Light bumped Pinkie with her rump to the side.

"That's a lovely cutey mark Pinkie Pie darling." Smiled Rarity as she saw my Pinkie's flank, the air was so relaxed it felt like we had all been here before many a time. Light's tummy made a big rumble and my younger sister blushed as she pretended it didn't.

"Any one else hungry apart from Light?" I asked as I smirked at her.

"I could eat...to the pancake house!" My Pinkie Pie made a silly explorer position as I smiled at her silliness.

"That is a great idea Diane." My sis twitched as she said the name, it was obvious this would take some getting used too.

We said our goodbyes to Rarity and Spike who where both hard at work with clothing for an upcoming fashion show.

The trip to the pancake house was filled with conversation from Pinkie and Twilight about Light and Sonata's relationship. Strangely enough Light and I walked behind the two mares as they enjoyed their gossip, all the time Light had a proud smile on her face...showing that she was completely in love with Sonata.

"Have you told Sonata yet?" I whispered to Light as she turned to me puzzled.

"Erm...told her what sis?" She questioned me.

"That you love her." I deadpanned then smiled....silly mare it's obvious to everyone.

"Eh...erm...well...kinda..." She stumbled quickly out of her cool element, at heart Light was still young and very much a klutz. "No...nope...not yet." She finally admitted in defeat.

"You know its obvious to everyone..." I decided to encourage her. "Specially from her side..." Light's face, for lack of a better word, light up...yep I went there.

"Really? you think so!" She nearly skipped ala Pinkie.

"Erm...yes...I figured she loved you before I figured you loved her." I laughed. "Her pupils always turn to hearts every time she looks at you...I don't know what you did to her but she is completely yours..." I giggled as Light's smiled filled her face...my sister was beautiful that was a given. "Just be careful not to hurt my friend Light, I think you would break her in half, and from what Aria said, you are Sonata's first...well everything." I concluded as Light's face went red.

"I'm gonna tell her next time I see her!" Light concluded like she was preparing for a night of patrolling, her face very determined, it was cute to see her so happy, specially in times like these.

The pancake house was bigger than I remember, we used to hang out here with the rest of the students back when I was part of Celestia's class...those times where amazing...there isn't a day that passes I don't regret screwing all that up in my stupid greed for power...but also always feel conflicted as everything I did led me to meeting my now family and friends.

“Oh. My...god.” Princess Twilight’s voice was a whisper as she froze at the sight of Pinkie Pie who was looking straight at us still as a statue, Light’s face resembled a rabbit looking up at a car’s headlights. Now don’t get me wrong but I love my partner with all my heart, and truth be told I’ve had a few fantasies about her and her pony other together...but this was nothing I was prepared for.
A quiet shrill that grew to a loud squeal came from both Pinkie’s, exactly the same pitch I may add. With seconds they where both bouncing in front of each other asking questions at breakneck speed and examining each other.

“Sis...please tell me we will survive this...Atlas doesn’t seem to scary now.” Light whispered into my ear as I shot her a side glance half laughing half nervous. My god both Pinkie’s looked amazing.

“Hey...Pinkie Pie...for some reason I didn’t think you would be here.” Twilight finally snapped into reality after she had obviously been envisioning a scenario where Equestria would exploded once both Pinkie Pie’s met. “I guess you met Pink...I mean Diane Pie.”

“Ohmygodohmygodohmygod! TWILIGHT!” Not my Pinkie Pie had appeared behind me. “Why...didn’t you tell me!? We’re going to have SO...MUCH...FUN!” Pinkie Pie examined me before appearing next to sis. “Wow...you’re reeeeeally cute!!! so much nicer than the big STONE HAMMER!” Pinkie giggled as she made a funny booming voice.

“Yep! she looks like a cute sporty stocky version of my baby!” Diane appeared next to me as she gently squished my cheeks and gave my muzzle a quick kiss.

“Oh yeah! I forgot you two are a couple!” Pinkie Pie came back to me and Diane to look at me closer. “After careful examination I agree with this! Sunset is to put it in a professional terms...a hottie.” Pinkie Pie stood dressed as a doctor and spoke like she was addressing a class.

“Oh...what the hell?” My sister approached me slacked jawed at all of Pinkie’s madness.

“Erm...I know I know...just don’t try to understand it, don’t question it...just move on.” I reassured her as Twilight stepped towards us.

“In best terms...Smile and wave girls, smile and wave.” She winked at us as we all giggled.

“Diane...shall we?” Pinkie Pie asked as she looked at her doppelganger.

“I think we should...and it should be right here....its time for....” My Pinkie inhaled same as her twin.

“AH PARTY!!!!” They both shouted together as Apple Jack came through the front door to the Pancake House.

“Sweet cheese an crakers!” She jumped back in fear as she saw both Pinkie Pie’s actions. “Somepony...please...wake me up...NOW!” She cowered a little as I smiled at my best friend. “Sunset! thank Celestia yah ‘ere!” She quickly composed herself as she gave me a huge hug. “Ah missed yah so much.” I loved her honesty be here or back home. “We got some catchin’ up to do.”

“That’s and understatement Jacky- old friend.” I smiled at her as as placed a hoof on Light to bring her closer.

“Oh my swirls yah gotta twin.” She gasped at our likeness and then smiled.

Grand Hotel, Earth

Shadow Sun sat with the Sirens and Twilight in the hotel bar, he looked incredibly ragged yet completely composed.

“So the smoking never stops hey?” Asked Adagio as Shadow Sun light another cigarette only minutes after finishing the last one.

“I’m sorry...does it bother you...I can put it out if it does...” He deadpanned.

“It bothers me...” Twilight slightly coughed, Shadow Sun turned to the speckled nerd.

“Ah okay...erm...well...how about I move away a little...” He turned back to Adagio. “So as I mentioned before...we’ve been watching you all since the Fall Formal that Sunset Shimmer took over, contrary to your believe, your circle of friends isn’t the only problem my agency deals with.” He smiled as he inhaled his cigarette.

“Like...them things will kill you, you know Sunny.” Sonata sounded of as a matter of fact, Shadow’s eyebrows raised a little at the nickname before he took his deadpan poker face back.

“These and many other things.” He deadpanned at the blue siren. “But thanks for the advice.”

“If you excuse me, I need to use the facilities.” Smiled Twilight as she looked straight at Adagio.

“Right...good idea Twi.” Adagio stood up and together they walked off in the direction of the toilets.

Shadow Sun sat in silence as he stubbed his cigarette out and then looked at the two remaining sirens.

“I get this might be a shock to the both of you...but we’re going to have to work together from now on in order to stop Atlas, my agency has notice a massive influx of paranormal incidents in the Canterlot area and a huge decrease of activity everywhere else.” He crossed his arms and legs and leaned back on his seat. Aria couldn’t quiet place what seemed off about Shadow Sun, but she knew she loved the bad attitude he seemed to have to everything around him. “Something big is coming.”

“You don’t say.” Aria deadpanned back at Shadow who smirked for the first time as if he had been waiting for Aria’s attention. “What exactly do you bring to the table apart from a gun and sword.” his eyes seemed to glow with the challenge.

“Well my sword and gun saved your life tonight.” He smirked back as Sonata looked from Shadow to Aria and narrowed her eyes. “And by the way...that wasn’t the first time I’ve saved your life, Aria.” He concluded.

“What do you mean? you been following us around!?” She snapped a flare of anger in her eyes.

“Not following you no. I was ordered to keep an eye on the activities all your group set in motion after the battle of the bands...you where powerless for a while if you recall.” He reminded her. “Alleys are not a save place for young pretty girls that cant defend themselves without magic.” Aria raised her eyebrows in shock.

“You mean?” She instantly recalled the stranger in the long dust coat that had saved her from a armed mugger only weeks after the show. She had never seen his face nor had a chance to thank him as he had vanished as fast as he had taken out the mugger.

“Yes that was me.” His smile was warm for an instant. “All you girls have been my mission for a long time now...as a matter of fact I went straight to the Fall Formal as my first assignment coming out of the Academy, the upper guys thought you were a one off walk in the park...” He chuckled. “I knew better the minute Equestria was involved.” His speech was cut short by another coughing fit he tried to control as Sonata stood up quickly and went to him.
Aria watched as her sister tried to help Shadow Sun...he was the one...she had fantasized about meeting her rescuer for years, all the things she would say to him now completely forgotten, she didn’t know what to do or say for once in her life, she wanted to thank him and give him a big hug but now was not the time...maybe it wouldn’t ever come.

“Breathe...Sunny...breathe.” Sonata placed her hand on his back as he stopped and looked up at Sonata and she saw what she had suspected all along, she gasped a little and knew he had notice her discovery.

“Don’t...Sonata....please.” He whispered as he gently squeezed her hand, the nervous look on his deadpan face just reinforced Sonata’s theory.

“I...I...won’t say anything, I promise Sunny.” She composed herself as he sat up and and thanked her for both the concern and the request.

Adagio and Twilight stood in front of the bathroom mirror.

“There is something not right here...” Adagio remarked bluntly.

“I can’t place it...wish Sunset was here to read Shadow Sun...but something about him doesn’t add up...I mean he isn’t lying about who he works for or how they know about us...but there is something he isn’t telling us.” Twilight sat next to the large marble sink. “He looks so familiar too.” Twilight added.

“We must have gone to school with him or something.” Adagio puzzled. “But he seems to know a lot about what’s going on...and he did save our lives.” she arranged her curls as she looked at her perfect reflection.

“Yes that’s true...and to be honest I don’t think we can turn help away right now.” Twilight concluded as they both nodded at each other. “Glad to have you here you know.” She added as Adagio smiled back at her.

“You know the only reason I left in the firs place, Twilight Sparkle.” Adagio stepped closer to her and took her hands. “But I’ve always come back when you needed me.”

“Maybe we should get back to the table.” Twilight blushed as she gently stepped away from Adagio.

“Good point kiddo.” Adagio snapped as she lead them back out the door.

Twilight and Adagio rejoined the other three who now stood at the bar, drinks in hand they resembled old friends more than newly met acquaintances.

“Did we miss something.” Adagio whispered to Twilight who looked as confused.

“Here Adagio..” Shadow Sun gave her her favorite drink. “I know you love these.”

“Yes, it’s not weird how you know so much about us at all.” She mocked.

“Sorry kiddo but it’s a professional hazard of mine.” He smirked. “You know...agent an all.” he mocked back. Adagio smiled back honestly, she couldn’t help but like this guys attitude.

“Okay Shadow Sun, we decided that we can’t turn help away right now so we will work with you.” Twilight Sparkle spoke as Shadow handed her a coke and rum. “How...?” she questioned slowly.

“Funny thing Twilight I have been thinking the same thing since Stone Hammer arrived.” He dropped the bomb on them as they all looked in shock. “C’mon guys...I told you we know everything that is going on around here.” He deadpanned. “Let’s just treat each other on equal ground from now okay.” He added gently. “I have information and help you guys will be happy to get.” He smirked as he took a sip of his jack & Ice.

“Okay...so I guess you’re one of us now.” Aria smiled. “I mean...part of the team.” She composed herself quickly as Adagio raised an eyebrow.

“Hmm indeed...well for now I guess we can call it a night and have a couple of drinks.” Adagio relaxed as she raised her glass. “Here is to you Shadow Sun, thank you for saving my two useless sisters and my friend.”

“Oh jeesh Adagio, there is no need for that.” He smiled humbled. “Job or not I hate seen an unfair fight.” He lit a cigarette.

“Seriously thou the smoking.” Twilight shyly spoke. “Can’t be good for you.”

“At this stage...they kinda are.” He inhaled as they looked at him. “Oh sorry guys...I’ve lung cancer....” he deadpanned as the girls faces turned to horror. “There is nothing that can be done...five, six months at the max.” He’s voice simple and without any fear or regret.

The Grand Hotel, Earth

So I've finally met my mysterious rescuer from all those years ago...and to be honest he is more than I expected. Not much to look at as far as heroes go thou, Shadow Sun is a small frail guy that smokes like a chimney, at the drop of a hat he can go into combat mode and its a site to behold as he swings Kio and fires Slash at targets and never...ever misses. I found it cute that he named his weapons...hehe what a klutz.

“You okay Aria?” Sonata lays next to me as we both rest after a night on patrol, I have missed my sister very much since me and Adagio left due to...erm romantic reasons gone wrong I guess...Adagio hasn’t been the same since, but that’s her business and I tend not to pry into it too much.

“Yeah looser I’m good...you’re the one that keeps sighing.” I look at my light blue sister who’s laid on her stomach with both feet in the air over her back. “We get that you miss Light, she is supposed to be back later...might be a good idea to start figuring how to introduce Shadow Sun to them.” She just looks at me with shrew eyes...my sister can read me like a book, always has...she is the “dumb” one...but not when it comes to figuring me out.

“That’ll be easy...Light will like Shadow...and Sunset...well trust me it’s gonna be more than fine.” She reassured me confidently.

I take a second to analyze her comment then go back to my own thoughts. For the first time I’m stuck for words, my digs and mocking doesn’t work on him...and my banter just brushes of him so fast, as a matter of fact he has riposted many a times now and left me defeated with no comeback. He is perfect in many ways compared to the grand hero I created in my fantasies, then why can’t I tell him how much that night meant to me! I find words to express myself hard when it comes to feelings...I’m so pathetic! What is wrong with me!

“Nothing’s wrong with you silly.” Sonata’s voice snaps me out of my daze...how did she know to this extent.

“Sonata? What?” I frown.

“You like Shadow...he’s the guy you fantasize about all the time...like...all the time.” She bluntly says as my jaw drops and doesn’t return.

“Sonata you freak!” My comebacks are weak and generic...and I know it...and I know she knows I’m vulnerable now.

“Even if so...he’s like...dying you know...don’t do this to yourself...it can only lead to pain...” For the first time Sonata is the words of wisdom, I know she is right but it’s too late for me...I was his the minute he rescued me...I hate my sense of damsel in distress, but as simple as it is...this is where I’ve been since it happened...and then again last night.

“Sonnie...It’s...too late for that...” I answer in defeat as Sonata lets out a long breath that make her fringe dance.

“Well he isn’t going to make a move...and time isn’t a luxury...maybe if you talk to him about it...” She drifted.

“Maybe...yeah...I should call him.” I can hear my voice is like a teen with a crush as I take my mobile phone from the mantle piece next to me.

“Calm down Aria...not so needy.” Sonata smiles at me...I’m a lost cause...Sonata is giving me romantic advice...SONATA of all people...the new one to all this out of the three of us.

I calm myself and look for his number in my contacts, find it and press dial...god knows what he's doing at this time in the afternoon, the phone only rings for a couple of tones before his voice answered slightly surprised.

"Aria!?" Came my rescuer's rugged tone. "Is everything okay?" I was taken aback, he either had an incredible memory or already had my number in his phone...

"Yes...yes Shadow all is okay...sorry to interrupt your day...erm..." I was trying too hard to sound my regular self but it wasn't working...I was suddenly a fumbling teenage girl with a crush.

"Okay...this is you right Aria...you sound so out of character I'm kinda worried...you sure everything is fine..." A cough interrupted his speculation. "excuse me...I mean...you sound kinda cute...and sweet...something isn't right." A crap...I sound a stupid as I think I do...but there is something there...he likes it. "Is this about me telling you about that moment a few years back?" And he reads minds.

"Erm...no!...oh what hell...yeah it is...please don't be a douche about it..." There we go...that's me.

"Ah much better...you've not been kidnapped...whatyawant anyways?" He is back to his deadpan self...and I find it sexy as hell...something is wrong with my tastes.

"Well...erm...I'd like to talk to you about it in private and well...you know...I just wanna say thank you...so erm...thanks for saving my life back then." I look up and see Sonata glowing with happiness at me and then I turn to my reflection in the wall mirror...I'm smiling...like a lot...ah yes my face hurts a bit...I had forgotten what smiling felt like.

"Hehe, don't worry about it Aria...like I said before It was part of my job and my nature...I've always been like that..." He replies with a slight more interest in continuing his conversation.

"You know...we could meet for a drink...just...us...without my two looser sisters." YES! I came out and said it...and I sound much more like me. Wait...there is silence...he is gonna say no...he is gonna say no....

"Erm...Aria...where are you going with this...the white knight effect should have long left you..." He replied a little confused. "And...I told you last night about my condition..." he deadpanned.

"Wait...what? yeah but...that's not it...I mean...it's just a drink, c'mon don't be a douche, I've wanted to meet you for like ever...you can even explain to me why you vanished after you saved me too...I mean I had to deal with the police all alone!" I'm on a roll now...use it Aria use it. "You kinda own me at least a drink for having to sit at the police station alone all night."
I can hear him slightly smile as he speaks.

"Sly Aria...very sly...fine...i'll be free in about half an hour...meet at the cafe your friends use so much?" He replies but I can hear it in his voice...he want's to meet me...why does his voice sound so familiar...I don't get it...

"Okay Shadow...I'm sure you're busy so...I promise not to take much of your valuable time." I mock him.

"If you only knew." He coughs a little before chuckling.

"Bye then." I hang up before a response...Ha I won...nope not immature at all.

"So...like?...good news then..." I can sense Sonata already knows the answer but I feel my face crack into a smile that I hope is not too out of practice to charm Shadow Sun.

"Well yeah...I always get what I want...pft like you'd have to ask." I brush my hair to the side feeling a little bit more myself and less vulnerable.

"Well...I'm sure you'll have fun, I'm sure about that..." Sonata giggles...but there is something she ins't telling me, so I jump on her and pin her to the bed by her wrists and she is instantly my prey.

"Okay 'Nata spill it...what the hell is it you know about this guy." She looks back at me and this isn't my sister I always get information out of...Light Shimmer has made her strong...like really strong.

"Nope not a chance sis...you're on your own on this one." She smirks.

"I'll lick your cheek!" I decide to play the thing she hates the most...but there is no reaction...instead she instantly licks my forehead and uses incredible strength to over turn my pin...for the first time EVER!...and Oh my god face lick is horrible!!!

"Serves you right hehe." Sonata is giggling really hard as for the first time I notice I'm actually really petite compared to my strong younger sister. "Now...let's get you all pretty to see Shadow." she offers her hand to me and I take it feeling our bond grow for the first time in decades...

"What has Light done to you?" I gasp slightly as with one motion she drags me to my feet. Sonata smiles and directs me to the mirror as she picked up a brush.

"Hopefully...like... something similar to what Shadow is gonna do to you." Touche sis...Touche.

Okay so now I've gone and done it...I'm gonna be alone with her...well shit Shadow...way to go...the one thing you're not supposed to do. I place my mobile phone back in my pocket and I see Applejack out of the corner of my eye as she approaches the statue...she isn't alone...hmm of course it's Flash Sentry...Mr and Mrs Prom Royals...who woulda thought it hehe.
Damn this cough...silently controlling it on stake out's is becoming agonizing...but I'm gonna work till I drop...hopefully not before I kick some Titan ass.
They are sitting around the statue with a small picnic basket...as I suspected the Shimmers are coming back...hmm Light woulda had her first Equestrian visit...need to see what information Princess Twilight has uncovered...hope it all went well...I shoulda gone with em...what was I thinking letting Light...no wait...Sunset is there...she can handle anything in Equestria...getting of topic again...damn omnipotent beings and their plans we don't understand. Again my lungs feel on fire...goddamn cancer...all the things I've done and seen and now this is gonna do me in...ugh...oh well might as well have another...not like they can smell it from here.
I inhale the sweet smoke of the murder weapon of my murderer and feel the fire inside me ease off. Now to the next step...Aria...myself, alone at the Everfree Cafe...damn Nightingale syndrome that has never left me...I can't give her any signs of it...she obviously is interested in me...why now of all times I have no idea...did't she look at me and see how broken I am...no one wants to ever know me...I'm reclusive, work driven, loner, rude...and of course a picture of perfect health....hehe yeah...that must be it...

"The girls won't be back for another twenty or so minutes..." Flash's voice come's through my left earpiece that is feeding me the signal from my hidden mic in the statue. "Soo...." And suddenly I just hear ruffling and look up to see them making out. Seriously these two are so in love i'm sure it's gotta make the rest kinda sick...then again Light and Sunset have gotten pretty bad themselves with their partners...Pinkie Pie and Sunset...that wasn't a shock to anyone I guess.
Back to Aria...she's perfect. Her bad ass attitude...her eyes...hair...skin...damn! getting distracted, I thought I had this under control...but I guess her interest in me is making my feelings resurface...but there is no future in this...I will end up hurting her...leaving her behind.
Thank god my phone is bringing me back to earth.

"Shadow Sun here...go." I answer my superior on the other line.

"The Shimmer sisters have been delayed...abort surveillance and make prep for tonight's patrol...make sure you're involved with the rest of the targets by the end of the night. I wan't you in their group and with as much information as you can gather by tomorrow...the time for action is close." His voice is lifeless as always.

"Affirmative...targets where engaged last night and my infiltration has began... piece of cake boss..." I hear the line go dead and know he is as happy as his character can be.
I pick up my art tube that houses Kio and head out of my stake-out location without anyone noticing me and head towards the cafe to meet Aria.
As I walk I feel something I haven't since I can remember...I'm excited...and happy...what's THE DEAL! This meeting can't lead into anything...I'm a professional...I got this under control.
The cafe is full as always and Rarity is at the bar engaged in her usual gossip with her sister-in-arms Gloriosa...the Gossip Two...Gloriosa nods at me and smiles...I am a regular here...I've always been here...with these girls...a backdrop no one cares to look at...same duster coat...same messy hair...same model Nike's and hat. You'd think the horrific scar across my eye would attract attention to me...but I guess if seen it must be a repellent to most.

"Hey sweaty...the usual?" Gloriosa approaches me as I look up from behind my glasses and nod then steal a glance at Rarity then back at the door. Gloriosa mistakes my glance at Rarity instantly. "The usual gossip meeting?" I smile and she instantly engages me in conversation...damn that was a rookie mistake...dammit Aria you've thrown me completely off my game.

"Yes darling...I'm sure you know my friend Rarity..." She turns to Rar and beckons the fashionista over, Rarity strides elegantly towards us.

"No...wait, I didn't mean..." Too late I'm in a three way conversation now that is happening before I want it too...I have no exit strategy and I can see I have to stick around for Aria.

"Rarity this is one of the regulars here...I'm not sure you've met before...this is Rarity sweaty...I can't recall your name sorry..." Seems Gloriosa is planning something I'm not too keen on.

"Shadow Sun." I fill the gap to the conversation. "Rarity was it...nice to meet you." I get into my distant character again.

"Hello darling...I'm guessing you call me over for fashion advice Glory darling...because Shadow you're a picture of originality and classic movies influence...simply magnifique!" She offers as I look at my clothes slightly amused. "You've got this whole Kyle Reese in a modern age look going." She adds.

"Sure." I'm stumped, but while she is talking about fashion and Gloriosa is helping out I see Aria walk into the cafe and look straight at me and smirk...my feelings crash against two simple thoughts...Damn you Aria Blaze and thank god my savior is here.
"Excuse me ladies...It was nice to meet you Rarity but my date is here..." I signal Aria over as she strolls towards me looking beautiful as ever except this time my hormones are on overdrive due to her been my rescuer instead.

"Hey losers." Aria smiles as she reaches a slack jawed Rarity and a smiling Gloriosa. "I see you met Shadow...I'm guessing that's expected since..." And with that I'm on my feet and interrupting Aria's break of my cover.

"So shall we head out to the park?" And in one swift motion i'm at Aria's side and heading out the door. "Thanks Gloriosa bye."

"That was strange." Aria deadpans as she stands looking at me with those massive purple pools that she calls eyes as her pigtails catch the wind and finishes her magnificent look...perfection...wait i'm an undisclosed agent to the most important agency in the world...I'm a professional...this is just a mission...keep it clean and formal...I am a rock...and this can't go nowhere. Nope this is easy to keep a level head on. Done. Let's talk like two adults who are preparing to work together on an important project. All business and no fun....sorry doll nothing personal.

Shimmers unite!

Canterlot University Campus, shared dorms closed off for renovation wing.

The room is clean...clinically clean with nothing out of place, the single bed is military clean and pressed while the single desk and chair house four laptops and a three electronic tablets. the mantle piece next to the bed has medicine bottles in perfect order of size from left to right on it.
It's darkly lit and the only window is boarded up from the outside, the kitchen is immaculate and doesn't seem to be have been used in years. It houses a nice microwave that sits on the middle of the kitchen worktop. There is a thump at the door.
In the middle of the room sits a hammer, rounded rugby ball shape head that ends on squared off edges, it's covered in ancient runes and has a leather strap at its hilt. It looks as old as time itself yet its perfectly conditioned. Keys shuffle on the other side of the door. There is a sharpening stone and a gun cleaning kit placed perfectly on the simple room table that has also only one chair to it. The door finally swings open and a couple tumble into the room kissing passionately paying no attention to their surroundings, they turn together without releasing their kissing and close the door...the purple girl pushes her prey onto the bed then seductively climbs along the others body and sits up on a riding position.

"So Shadow...is this going like you expected." She questioned seductively as Shadow tries to get his breath back and smiles, Aria removes Shadow's Katana and holster from her side and gently drops it next to the bed, Soultaker silently hits the ground and rests with a feint green glow.

"Nope...not even a little...more importantly...why you stop!?" He questions his teasing partner as she leans in on him again and continue kissing. Shadow Sun takes The Good Samaritan out of its back holster and drops the the six-shooter on the floor next to the bed. The huge revolver makes a heavy thud as it rests on the ground.
He starts to softly move his hands up Aria's back as she kicks her boots off and he copies, Shadow places his hand on Aria's cheek and takes her beauty in as she looks at him trying to see past his red curly hair that covers part of his face, she then continues to kiss him as she starts to caress his stomach gently and follow up to his chest before she stops quickly and sits up.

"You're wearing a bra!" She says as Shadow sits up quickly confused and alarmed at the same time.

"Well...yeah?" Shadows Sun looks a little taken back as Aria's face relaxes a little then she reaches for Shadow's chest and place both hands on it discovering her small soft breasts.

"Aria?...wait what?...you didn't know!" Shadow Sun is half shocked half amused. "Hey!...I get the whole flat thing...but c'mon...I'ma girl silly!" She snaps as she takes her baseball cap off and ruffles her curly red hair.

"What! wait...your hair...clothes...nope...wait...this makes much more sense...oh thank god!" Aria exhales as she releases Shadow's breasts from her hands and Shadow giggles. "I thought I'd become straight!" Aria relaxed." As Shadow let's out a laugh that brings a cough out of her as she lays back onto her elbows half sat up.

"I'm so sorry I thought you knew already..." Shadow's voice is but a whisper...her raspy tone still there but more familiar now than before to Aria.

"I guess this is what Sonata meant by I will be surprised no matter what." Aria gave Shadow a quick kiss on her forehead and held her face on her palms and looked at her closely...Shadow's face half hidden by her hair. "Need to move this out of the way..." Aria gently starts moving Shadow's hair to the side but her hands are stopped by Shadow's hand.

"I don't think you wanna do that!" Shadow gently snaps and slight fear breaks into her voice. "I think you're in for another surprise...I mean with me..." She shy's away as Aria feels her heart take a shot then gently brushes off Shadow's gentle grip.

"I've been dying to meet you since I first laid eyes on you...and now I'm crazy about the person you are ...let me see all of you...scar or no scar...I'm sure it's not gonna be..." She says it so gentle as she brushes Shadow's hair aside and takes her glasses off before continuing to put her hair back into a ponytail and then returns to look at her face to face. "SUNSET SHIMMER!?" Aria can't contain the pitch of her voice as Shadow raises her eyebrows slightly and then scratches her head slightly embarrassed but pleased her scar isn't the topic of conversation. "My god...you're the other Sunset Shimmer....you exists, you really do exist!" Aria still a little taken back. "That's where I recognize your voice from...the body language, your gorgeous hips and butt!" She lets it spill out...no need to be shy now...this was beyond unprecedented.

"Calm down Aria...yes, yes I'm earth's Sunset Shimmer...breathe...relax...it's not actually too hard to explain..." Shadow tries to calm his partner's cute rant as Aria slightly hyper ventilates.

"Talk!? Explain!?" Aria raises an eyebrow as her cheeks flush red. "WAIT! no...not now you don't...right now we're in the middle of something else..." She slightly shuffled in her riding position of Shadow and gave her a seductive look before she leaned in and continued to kiss her. "And before you think I didn't notice the scar...think again...but I think it's sooooo hot." She looked at her and then un-clipped her bra.

"Oookay...you're taking this a lot better than I expected." Shadow deadpans as Aria reaches for her new lover's zip. "Ah lot easier than I...." And Shadow's breath is taken away as she let's Aria take her.

Rarity, Fluttershy, Sonata, Spike and Rainbow Dash all wait around the portal statue for Sunset and company.

"Any minute now..." Sonata is like a child at Christmas morning as she awaits her girlfriend.

"Okay Sonata...you said that every two minutes for the last half hour." Rainbow Dash looks at Sonata with amusement.

"She's got it bad...let's just breeze through it...we could probably ignore her all the time and she wouldn't say anything of interest." Deadpanned Spike as he smirked at Rarity.

"Spike darling, as un-gentleman as that sounds...it's probably true for now." She smiled at the dog as he wagged his tail.

"Hope Pinkie Pie didn't cause too much commotion out there...she can be a little, erm random." Fluttershy whispered as everyone questioned at once.

"Ah Little!?" They all spoke in unison.

"Okay...maybe a lot." She brushed the floor with her shoe.

The portal came to live with a faint yellow glow as Sunset Shimmer stepped through it and looked around herself to find her friends.

"Hey guys!" She smiled non fussed by her transformation, she turned and waited as the portal turned pink and Pinkie Pie stepped out with braided hair and holding saddlebags filled with cupcakes.

"Ho Ho Ho...I come bearing gifts from the other me!!!" She put her hands in the air triumphantly as Sunset smiled and slightly shuck her head.

Light Shimmer finally emerged from the portal as Sonata instantly gave her a hug, Light was taken aback before giving her partner a gentle kiss.

"I missed you too Sonny." Light brushed Sonata's fringe the aside.

"Okay, okay group hugs..." Sarcastically added Rainbow Dash as she waved away an invisible fly. "Sonata says she has some important news for us..." She added.

"Oh...like...yeah...well Aria does..." Sonata interjected.

"Oooh darling, is it about the cute guy I saw her with?" Rarity instantly jumped on the gossip. "He was rugged to say the least..." She smiled.

"Erm...yeah...well there is more...but I think it's for them to share." Sonata felt that spilling the beans about Shadow Sun been connected to a secret organization that polices strange phenomena on earth would be out of her hands...never mind adding that Shadow was a girl...and not just any girl but Sunset Shimmer from this world... "Yeeeeah I like....think we should meet them at the cafe before patrol." Sonata tried to avoid eye contact.

"Before patrol!?" Sunset Shimmer raised her eyebrows. "Wait this guy know about what we do?"

"It's a long story...well like...not too long...but he can explain it better." Sonata stumbled her words.

"Oooh mysterious." Pinkie Pie smiled as she wore her Sherlock hat again. "The game is afoot!" She started to lead them to the cafe as she looked for clues with her newly produced magnifier glass.

"Honey?" Light Shimmer quietly whispered to Sonata as she held her hand gently. "Is this something I should be worried about?...you know...Titan connected?" She raised her left eyebrow slightly out of instinct.

"You could say that...like...maybe..." Sonata began to trip as she knew she wouldn't hold her tongue for long against the girl she loved. "C'mon let's just get there." She hurried them.
