The Twin's Arrival
(Eliot POV)
I was so excited to go to my very first convention, but my parents didn't want me to go alone so they asked my cousin, Sarah, to accompany me to the convention.
It's not like I don't like her, quite the opposite really, we have a lot of things in common and we always got along, we were almost the same age (her being older by 3 days a bit weird I know) and we were both shared a love of videogames and anime, but she can be a bit bossy.
I just hate that my parents don't trust me to go to the convention alone (I'm 18 damn it!). And I had everything planned out I even hand made one of my favorite anime character; Ulquiorra Cifer.
I had the clothes, the mask but not the sword. But since Sarah wanted to go as Evie Frye from Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, she recommended (Forced) me to go as Jacob Frye. So all that time trying to replicate Ulquiorra was a waste
So here we are at the convention; me dressed as Jacob with the black master assassin’s robe, top hat, beer collector belt, props for the weapons including the Mars gun, the legendary assassin kukri, and some throwing knives, a small pouch that had some replicas of the smoke bombs, medicine, plastic bullets, and voltaic bombs, and the legendary assassin gauntlet that had the hidden blade, grappling hook, and hallucinogenic darts attached to it(I had to order everything online)
Sarah as Evie Frye had the Aegis robe and cloak, legendary assassin belt, fake throwing knives, smoke bombs and voltaic bombs ,the world’s greatest cane-sword, Eagle’s splendor knuckles and legendary assassin gauntlet, the same as me, and we both had our hoods up because why not?
“Hey are you done daydreaming”
I looked behind me to see my cousin standing impatiently wanting to go buy some souvenirs with the money she saved (which wasn't enough she'll most likely “borrow” most of my saved cash)
“Let's go” she said, pulling me towards one of the many vendors there “I want to see what kinds of souvenirs I want to get”
I wanted to go a separate way because I wanted to look for some specific merchandise while I was here but it was now ruined

After walking around for the last 2 hours I managed to sneak away from Sarah to buy what I wanted with the money I had left (which was half of what I started with thanks to my cousin) and got a little figurines of some of my favorite characters from my little pony.
Yes I'm a brony no one knows that I like the show, not even Sarah, it would ruin my tough guy image (I got into a lot of fights and I'm into boxing and park out)
I got figurines of some of the mane six, spike, some side characters and my most favorite character Princess Luna.
As soon as I put the figurines in my backpack (where I kept my laptop, solar charger for both the laptop and phone, some snacks and my top hat) Sarah was dragging me by the collar of my shirt
“H-hey what's the rush?”
“There's something over here that caught my eye and I really want to buy it!” She exclaimed with excitement
“What could you want more than the posters of an anime you never even watched!” I said with annoyance
“This!”
We stopped at a vendor who dressed as the merchant from resident evil 4 selling some of the best merchandise I've ever seen, Luffy’s straw hat, ichigo’s hollow mask, Tex’s helmet, but what really caught my eye, and probably Sarah’s as well, was the shroud of Eden that was in the box, and the key next to it that looked exactly like the one in the game.
“That's what I want to get” she said while pointing at the shroud
“Hello there stranger, are you looking to bargain for this nice piece of cloth” the man said with the same creepy accent as in the game
“Yeah how much for it” I asked while taking out what I had left
“For you both how about $150? Sound good to you, I'll even throw in a second shroud.”
That actually sounds like a fair deal. Sarah and I, would want the shroud and I was the one that was going to pay for the thing so it's a win-win, sort-of.
“Alright, deal!” I said handing him the money and he handed us the shrouds
“This is so cool!” Sarah said, watching the shroud intently “ lts even glowing like it does in the real game!”
‘Wait, what?’
“Have a nice trip” the merchant said as my vision started to get blurry and I fell to the ground. The last thing I saw was my cousin falling right next to me.

(Third Person P.O.V)
As both Eliot and Sarah came to, they realized that they weren't ate the convention but in a dirty alleyway.
“What in bloody hell just happened” Eliot said, with his voice much deeper and had a British accent, as he was regaining his scenes
“Who said that that?” A voice behind him said “Eliot?”
As Eliot turned to look at where the voice was coming from, but he noticed that the gauntlet he had strapped to his left arm looked more realistic than it was before so was the gun, and the shroud was still glowing, but he didn't think much of it as he looked for his cousin
“Sarah, where are you?” He called out while getting up on his feet
“I'm right here”
Eliot turned and saw a lady he'd never seen before standing right behind him, but he noticed that she looked oddly familiar, then it hit him like a ton of bricks!
She looked exactly like Evie Frye!
“Eliot?” The Evie look-alike said shocked
“Sarah?” The Jacob look-alike said equally shocked
“What in bloody hell happen? Where are we? Why do you look like Jacob? Why do I look exactly like Evie? What’s going on?!” She said panicking about the whole situation
“Evie, calm down!” Eliot said before noticing he said ‘Evie’ instead of ‘Sar-’ then he noticed that he was forgetting both their names
“Why’d you call call me Evie? My name is S-” She started to say before also realising that she was forgetting their names as well
It then dawn on Jacob on what might have happened, as he had read about this happening to people on the internet
“Evie, I think I know what happen, but I need to make sure” he said walking to one end of the alleyway, which confirmed his suspicion; antro ponies walking around, but they seemed to look paranoid
“What? How do you know?” She said, confused that her cousin knows what happened
“I read about this happening to people who go to a convention dressed as their favorite characters from either shows or games and then mysteriously disappearing.”
“WHAT?! If you knew about that, why didn’t you say anything?!” she yelled at him, with rage
“Because those were just stories that people write on the internet. How was I supposed to know that it was real?”
Evie calmed down, somewhat, after hearing her cousin’s reason
“Ok, so where are we? What happened?” She asked him having calmed down
“Well, the guy who we bought the Shroud of Eden from is called the merchant he sells merchandise to people that will complete their costumes, but when they buy it they’re sent to a different world and become the person they’re dressed as along with their abilities, powers, and knowledge.” He started to explain to her while pecking from around the corner
“So now we’re Jacob and Evie Frye, The Twin Assassins?” She said starting to get the whole situation “Is there anyway to get back?” She asked hopefully
Jacob didn’t know weather to tell her or not, that the chances of returning were slim to none
As he was about to answer, five rouge anthro ponies walked up to them from behind. Three of them were earth ponies, a pegasus, and the leader a unicorn
“Well, well, well what do we gave here?” the leader said smirking.
He was almost as tall as Jacob, with little muscle. He had a slightly dark green coat and dirty blonde mane. He wore dark jeans, dirty white button up shirt and a crimson red jacket.
“Two strangers in our part of Ponyville? You’re either brave or stupid to be wandering around here. What do you boys think we should do?”
“Lets beat up the guy” The Pegasus said while eyeing Evie. He was shorter than the leader but was more fit and lean. He had dark grey coat and black mane. He wore the same thing as the leader “,and then have some fun with the girl.”
“Good idea, Quick hit. Then maybe they’ll learn not to mess with the blighters” The leader said while cracking his knuckles
Evie was both scared and confused. Scared of what they might do to her, and confused at what they were.
“Don’t worry, I’ll take care of this” Jacob said to her reassuringly as he walked towards the group, and stopping a few feet away from them
“Oh, looks like we have a fighter here, boys” The leader said smugly as the rest laughed “This really doesn’t seem fair, but it’s your funeral. Heavy Hitter get rid of this idiot!”
The biggest of the earth ponies walked forward, He was the tallest one of the group and easily the more built one. He had red coat and dark violet mane. He wore a dark red pants, and an oversize button up shirt that, for him, fit him a little tight
“You’re right this isn’t a fair fight….” Jacob said as he ducked under a right hook and delivered his own hit to the stomach, making Heavy bendover. Jacob then kneed him in the face making the larger man straighten up while taking a few steps back with his head looking up, exposing his neck. Seeing this, as if on instinct, Jacob drew his hidden blade and swiftly slight Heavy’s neck. Letting out a pained gasp he held his neck as he started to feel faint
“For you that is” Jacob calmly said as Heavy fell down dead
Both the group of gang and Evie were shocked that he had easily beat and kill the equine. But the gang quickly snapped out of their shocked state and were angered that this stranger not only killed a member but had the nerve to go against them
“Why you- boys, get him!!” The leader quickly commanded his gang
The two remaining earth ponies charged him and kept throwing punches hoping to either knock the newcomer out or kill.
But unfortunately for them Jacob was too skilled for them to handle, from his own past experience and knowledge from the game, as he quickly landed his own hits and snapped the neck of the first one then stabbed his hidden blade at the chest of the other one killing them both.
He then heard the sound of flapping wings and looked up to find the pegasus was flying 10ft above him.
“Hah, not so tough are ya? How are ya gonna beat, me if you can’t even reach me!?” He said smugly as he looked down on Jacob, and figuring out a way to beat him while keeping out of his reach
“I don’t need you to be near me to kill you” Jacob said smirking while taking out his gun and points it a Quick hit
Quick hit thought that the intruder was stupid for just pointing the strange metal object at him
“What are gonna do? Just stand there and be dumb? Or are you giving up for finally realising you can’t beat-”
(BANG)
Next thing Quick hit knew he felt a deep pain in his chest and started falling towards the ground dead as his other gang members
As Jacob was about to put his gun away he heard Evie gasp in shock, when he turned he saw the leader had sneaked behind Evie and had an arm twisted on her back and a knife at her neck
“D-don’t come any closer, or I’ll kill her!” He told the Assassin, shaking while having a tight grip on Evie
What he did shocked both the unicorn and his hostage, he aimed his gun at them
All was silent as he kept the gun pointed at them Evie’s body was in the way of his intended target, but as both Jacob and Evie locked eyes, she immediately knew what he needed her to do.
With her free arm she quickly delivered an elbow jab to his gut, making him lose his grip on her arm, she then freed herself from her captor and quickly moved away as Jacob pulled the trigger
(BANG)
The bullet hit its mark; between the eyes of the gang leader, and he fell down dead like the rest of his gang
“Well, that takes care of that problem.” Jacob said with satisfaction before turning his attention to his cousin, now turned twin sister “Hey, you alri-” was all he managed to say before Evie punched him in the face, making him stumble back a bit before falling on his ass
“WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING?” She yelled at him infuriated over what had occurred in the short time they were their and at Jacob for POINTING A GUN at her
Before Jacob could answer they saw a dull green flash coming from the gang leader's corpse when they turned they were surprised that there was green flames covering his entire being. When the flames disappeared a completely different ponie, if it was even called that anymore, was in his place.
Still wearing the same clothes, only dirtier and riddled with holes. The equin being had black, almost armor hard, skin, bug like wings sprouting from his back, holes on his arms, legs and horn, and eyes completely green
“A changeling? What’s a changeling doing with a bunch of gang?” Said Jacob confused at the disguised changeling
“What’s a changeling? What’s going on?” Evie said hyperventilating and close to tears
“Evie calm down. I’ll explain everything, but right now we have to look for someone who could help, and I think I know who.” He said as he flattened his top hat and placed it under his coat (which surprisingly fit) and pulled up his hood covering his most face
“Who could help us? How do you know if they COULD help us?” Evie asked while putting up her own hood
“Trust me, for now we should get to higher ground, it could help us locate her place faster.” Jacob said as while walking out of the alleyway, after seeing they could not climb the walls of the ally
“O-okay, let's get this over with. I just want to get home.”Evie said following her twin
Meanwhile, on the rooftop close to the ally they were in was two figures who saw the whole thing
“Did you see that? How he took down those thugs like it was noting? And that weird metal thing he used to kill two of them?” Said the first figure awed at jacob’s skills. By the tone of the voice it was clearly a girl
“Yeah… Maybe they could help us with our current problems that's been happening around Equestria.” Said the second figure now identified as a male “ And help the others from all the ‘debts’ they owe”
“You’re right! But we have to find out where they’re going first, and who they’re looking for.”
“I think I have an idea on who the guy was talking about,” The second figure said as he turned towards the direction the newcomers would look for “Let’s go I have a feeling they’re going to look for Twilight. Rainbow Dash go on ahead and see if any of those ‘Tax Collectors’ visited any on the other girls, I’ll head back home and wait for those two to come”
“Alright, I'll meet you back there, Spike” The figure, now identified as Rainbow Dash, said as she quickly flew to her friends home to see if they were not threatened by anyone else, While Spike headed back to the Golden Oaks Library.
