Lord Beerus' Planet...

"Ha!"

A man with spiky hair and an orange gi tried to punch Whis, the angel swerving his head to the side. His hands were placed behind his back, as though he was giving himself a handicap. The angel moved to the left as the orange-clad Saiyan performed a roundhouse kick, only hitting the air instead. "C'mon, Whis! This is unfair!" whined Goku.

Whis chuckled, "If you wish to be the strongest, Goku, then this what you'll have to deal with."

"Gah! Forget this!" grunted another man wearing gray armor and a chestplate, the suit of his kind. After all, he was a prince and felt to show pride in the Saiyans. And so, Vegeta decided to attack at that moment, shoving Goku aside, earning a displeased 'Hey!' from the laidback Saiyan.

Vegeta lashed a fist out to Whis, who countered by poking Vegeta in the chest, knocking the wind out of him. "Urgh..." gargled the Saiyan prince, holding his stomach. He clenched his eyes shut for a moment before facing the angel again.

"Grah!" he shouted, trying to kick Whis, who blocked the attack.

"Alright, Vegeta! It's my turn, now!" Goku shouted from his spot, flying back to fight their mentor. The two flew on opposite sides of Whis, who easily deflected each punch and kick with his hands, a bored expression on his face.

BAM!

A white flash was seen and Goku and Vegeta were seen wiping a bruise on their faces. Whis sighed in slight disappointment, "It seems the two of you are making the same mistakes."

"It was Vegeta!" Goku blamed, pointing an accusing finger at his rival. Vegeta crossed his arms and gave Goku an annoyed scowl at his childish attitude.

"How can you blame me, Kakarot? You're the once acting like a damn child!" Vegeta groaned in disbelief. "If anything, this is your own fault!"

The two got another whack to the head from Whis, who gave a disapproving shake of his head, "Honestly, the both of you are immature when out fighting. If the two of you wish to become the best then I say it is best to address your problems that I've noticed since taking you in."

Goku and Vegeta rubbed their aching heads, "Alright, get it over with, please..." mumbled Goku.

"Let's start with you, Vegeta." Whis said, earning a huff from the Prince of All Saiyans.

Turning his head, Vegeta groaned, "...Fine."

"Your arrogance. You're impatient in a battle, always wishing to deliver a hit, even at the cost of Son Goku landing one in your place. If you put aside your ego and calm down for once, perhaps you can become an even better fighter than you already are." Whis lightly criticized.

Laughing, Goku patted Vegeta on the back, making said man smack his hand away, "Looks like you got a lot to learn, Vegeta!"

"Oh, but I haven't spoken about you yet, Goku." the angel added with a grin. Vegeta revealed a smirk and quietly chuckled to himself upon hearing that.

Shaking his head, Goku's eyes went wide, "Me? W-What about me?"

Raising his staff, Whis elaborated for the Saiyan, "Where Vegeta is too arrogant and impatient, you're too laidback and calm when the stakes are dire. You never take anything seriously. I understand you Saiyans' desire to fight the strongest, but one day that is going to cost you greatly." he raised a finger, "That is why I have come up with a solution to this." he explained, gently patting his staff on the ground.

Raising a brow, Vegeta asked, "And what is that supposed to be?"

"I concur." said another voice, not belonging to the three. The Saiyans and angel turned their heads, seeing a thin purple cat-like creature yawn and stretch his limbs. Scratching his back, the person spoke, "Whis... Why are these two here?" he asked with genuine curiosity in his tone.

With a small chuckle, the angel elaborated, "Oh, my apologies Lord Beerus, Goku and Vegeta asked for me to train them with their new abilities. I thought I decided to do something nice. This happened while you were napping. I'm surprised by the fact you're up by this time."

Beerus was silent for a moment, "What food did they give you, Whis?" he asked, "And can I have some?"

"They gave me pepperoni pizza. There's a few slices left for you in case you woke up." Whis said, gesturing to the flat box lying on the grass. The God of Destruction sat down, his legs crossed and he opened the box, seeing the few slices of pizza left, smoke still visible, meaning it was still warm.

"We thought you'd like this, Lord Beerus." Goku said lightly, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly.

Sniffing the pizza, Beerus stuck his tongue out, "If this isn't good, I may destroy Earth for you wasting my time." he revealed, earning a gasp from Goku and even Vegeta.

"W-What?! P-Please don't, Lord Beerus!" Goku pleaded, folding his hands and bowing. Vegeta mirrored his actions, putting aside his ego for the actual God of Destruction.

And so, Beerus took a bite of the pizza. Silence was passed among the group as the god tastes the food. Once he swallowed, a smile formed on his face, "That was good." he chuckled, "I made the right decision in sparing this planet. There's more delicious food here than I thought." he leaned on the tree, his hands placed behind his head. "You can go back to whatever it was you were doing, just don't bother me."

"Thank you, Lord Beerus!" Goku said, he and Vegeta bowing.

Whis grinned, "Anyway... My plan is quite simple. I'm sending the two of you on a mission. It's for an old friend of Lord Beerus and I. For a while, she wanted to meet some people of our world. And I was thinking the two of you would be perfect candidates."

"Hmph. And why us, exactly? And where are we going?" Vegeta wondered.

"To a land filled with magic. It's there I wish for the two of you to learn what makes that world as powerful as it is. Think of it as an ambassador trip. You'd be visiting an alien planet." Whis said.

Goku raised a hand, "Why there exactly? Is there anyone strong?"

Whis giggled, "Of course, Goku. This is a physical and mental challenge. It might be strange at first, but I know you two can adjust." he complimented. "I will check back with you in a couple of weeks to see how you are doing and see if you've improved at all while in this world."

Rolling his eyes, Vegeta muttered, "Thanks..."

With that, the angel raised his staff, it glowing red. Goku and Vegeta noticed that they too were covered in the red aura and were being forced to fly into a portal opening above them. They screamed as they fell in, the portal closing behind them. Beerus chuckled, "You just wanted them gone didn't you?"

Shrugging, Whis laughed, "Maybe. But this is for the better. Especially if you and Son Goku are to have that rematch."

Equestria...

Princess Twilight Sparkle and her friends sat down comfortably in her castle, which she still hadn't adjusted to despite some... renovations done by her friends. Each of them were talking amongst one another, enjoying each other's company. But like always one moment changed everything.

Pinkie Pie hopped around, her tail, mane and the like bouncing as she flew off the walls. Her friends tried to calm her down as she landed like a piece of paper caught in the wind. "Wow! That was weird!" she cheered, pumping a hoof in surprise.

Twilight Sparkle looked at her friend worriedly, "Pinkie, what in Celestia's name was that?"

"Pinkie Sense!"

Rarity raised a brow, "Pinkie Sense again?"

Rainbow landed next to her friend, "Well, what is it?"

"It was a super doozy!" the pink mare revealed loudly.

Fluttershy squeaked, "A-A super doozy?"

Nodding super fast, Pinkie responded, "Uh-huh! That means something completely weird and crazy is going to happen soon! I can't wait to find out what it is!"

Twilight rolled her eyes, the alicorn sitting back down, "Oh boy..."

"Yeah! I never had a super doozy like this." Pinkie exclaimed in shock.

Twilight put a hoof to her friend's shoulder, "I'm sure it was nothing. Remember your doozy before? It was only because I admitted to trusting your Pinkie Sense. I'm sure everything's fine." she comforted the pink mare.

Spike crossed his arms, the dragon raising a brow, "Eh. I don't know. I remember the falling piano."

"I'm sure it won't bas crazy and nonsensical as that, Spike."

Twilight could not have been more wrong.

Fluttering his eyes open, Goku sat up. "Woah. That was crazy. Hey, Vegeta?" he called out, rubbing the back of his head. The Saiyan stood up and dusted off his gi. He found Vegeta lying face-first in dirt and laughed.

"Oh, ha ha, Kakarot! Now get me out of here!" Vegeta was heard, his voice muffled in the ground. Helping his sparring partner and rival up, the two Saiyans got a better look at their surroundings. "What the hell? This looks no different than a regular forest on Earth? Where did that angel send us?"

Goku shrugged, "Uh... I'm not sure. He didn't say. But he said we can train here!"

"Of course your first thought would be to train. How about we find out if there is a town nearby or something." Vegeta suggested. Nodding, Goku agreed, "Pheh. Can't believe I'm stuck in another world with you."

"It won't be so bad, Vegeta, at least here we can focus on becoming stronger!"

The Saiyan Prince could be heard groaning.

Canterlot...

'Oh, I hope I wasn't intruding on anything.'

Celestia chuckled, "Do not worry, Whis. I am quite interested in your world. The visit from you and Beerus was quite interesting to say the least." she waved a hoof of assurance to her friend, letting him know that his plan was fine.

Whis laughed, 'Oh, Lord Beerus is like that.'

'Hey!'

"We are only jesting, Lord Beerus. Whis has told me very little about these visitors, anyhow. Are they as powerful as you say?" the Sun Princess wondered.

'Very much so.'

Celestia nodded, "I see. And with the gala soon, it would be a grand opportunity to welcome them to Equestria. Thank you for your time, Whis."

'Likewise, Princess Celestia. Do tell how they fare there.'

"I will, till we speak again Whis." and with that, Celestia lowered the communication staff given to her. She sighed, hearing the door open up. She spotted her sister trotting in the throne room.

"Are thou done speaking with Whis, sister?" Luna asked.

"I am, Luna. This is a grand opportunity for Equestria. I've been debating this for a while, since your return actually." revealed Celestia, "The two he has sent will be considered ambassadors. I do think our kingdom is ready for this." she said proudly. "We have come a long way in such a short amount of time."

Nodding, Luna responded, "If you think this is the best, I will support your decision, but I still have my doubts."

Waving a hoof, Celestia said, "Do not worry, sister. I'm sure whoever he's sent are pure in spirit. I can trust him and Lord Beerus. In the meantime, I wish to meet with these visitors. I shall send a couple guards to escort them to Canterlot to have a formal introduction before the gala as I have to stay here to set it up."

"...Very well." Luna agreed, "Lord Beerus, despite his hobby, was a trustworthy figure and whoever's here got on his good side. Thou shall send guards, sister."

Welcome to Ponyville! What World is This?

Goku and Vegeta wandered on, their destination unclear. The two walked for a few minutes, silence being passed among them, that is until Goku broke it. "So, Vegeta. What do you think is here? Whis mentioned that it might be weird."

Vegeta huffed, "I'm not sure and frankly I don't care."

Chuckling, Goku responded, "Yeah, that's what I figured!" he rubbed the back of his neck. "Oh, hey, a town!" he was right. Near where they were standing was a small town, but they couldn't be quite sure who or what lived there exactly.

"Finally..."

And with something in sight, Goku and Vegeta took off, using their ki to get there faster. A few seconds later and they arrived right outside the town beyond the number of trees. The two landed and walked in, hoping that they weren't met with hostility. "This can't be too bad." said the orange-clad warrior.

"For you, maybe. As a Saiyan warrior you should always be ready, Kakarot." Vegeta scolded.

Cracking his knuckles, Goku chuckled, "You act like I'm not. I hope that whoever's here is strong!"

"Same here. It's the only reason why I want to bother sticking around." admitted the Prince of all Saiyans.

"What am I even looking at?"

Vegeta asked this question upon walking into the town. Standing around were horses. No, ponies. Each of them looking like they were straight from a rainbow. "Kakarot, please tell me we were sent here by accident..." he groaned in disbelief.

The ponies around them were surprised, but Goku just waved, "Hi, there. What's up?" he chuckled in a friendly manner, "Is it any different from our world, Vegeta? We've been to Namek! They could be friendly for all we know!"

"H-Hi...?" a pony returned a wave from Goku, unsure of how to react.

A smile was returned by Goku, "Don't worry! We're not gonna hurt you." he assured, wrapping an arm around Vegeta, earning a disgruntled sigh from his ally and rival. "We're just wondering..." he heard the sound of rumbling, and looked down, seeing that the sound came from his stomach. "Heh heh... Is there any place where we can get some food?"

"U-Uh?" the pony stammered. "S-sugarcube Corner? There are lots of treats there!"

Turning left, Goku waved as his back turned, "Great! Thanks for the help!" he said. The Saiyan looked back with a thumbs up, easing the mare and anyone else watching. But a sneer from Vegeta made them shiver.

"I can't believe that we just arrived in a new world, and all you're focused on is the food." grunted the Saiyan Prince.

Patting his stomach, Goku replied, "I can't fight if I'm hungry, Vegeta. I gotta be at the top of my game if we're going to be training in this world. And that includes eating."

"Hmph. Very well. If we're going to be eating... I can probably eat more than you." Vegeta boasted.

"You're on!" Goku shouted back, and pointed at a building, "Is that it?" he asked, looking at a place that looked like a giant gingerbread house. "I think I can eat that all on its own."

"Please don't, Kakarot..." muttered Vegeta, "Let's just get inside before something goes wrong."

The Saiyan duo stepped into the building, having to lower their heads in order to enter. They towered over everypony in the room and were given glances upon entering. Awkward silence filled the room as Goku smiled sheepishly. Vegeta merely crossed his arms, choosing not to say anything.

"Hi, I'm Goku!" introduced the Saiyan, "And this is Vegeta! We're not gonna hurt anybody here, so get back to doing whatever it was you did!" somehow that convinced everyone to go back to eating.

"Grr. So much for this. I was told we were going to train, it's like this world hasn't seen humans before." grumbled Vegeta.

Goku raised a brow, "They probably haven't, Vegeta. In the meantime, we should keep to ourselves I say. Until we earn their trust." he decided.

"Do you want to get in front?" a stallion whispered nervously.

Raising a hand, Goku replied, "Nah. You were here first. Looks like it's pickin' up speed anyway."

A few minutes passed and Goku and Vegeta were in front of line, the orange-clad warrior placing a hand on the table. "Hi there! Can we have... Three-hundred cupcakes?" he asked kindly.

Mrs. Cake raised a brow, "Excuse me... Did you say three-hundred?" she wondered, confused on whether or not she heard his words correctly.

Nodding, Goku said, "Yep! Three-hundred! I'm starving!"

Sighing, Mrs. Cake whispered, "If only Pinkie were here..."

"Hi there!"

The Saiyans hopped back in surprise at the sight of the pink pony popping out from behind the counter. Mrs. Cake held her chest as she breathed. "Pinkie... You're going to give me a heart attack at some point." she chuckled. "I thought you were with your friends n your break?"

"I was, but then I heard that you needed my help! So I came back!" Pinkie exclaimed, her eyes turning to see Goku and Vegeta, "Ooo, new customers! My name is Pinkie Pie, and you are..."

"Goku and Vegeta! Nice to meet you, Pinkie." Goku offered a hand, which Pinkie shook enthusiastically.

Mrs Cake whispered into her employee's ear, "They asked for three-hundred cupcakes."

The pink mare paused, her mane shaking. The Saiyans gave her a weird look and saw a wide grin form on her face, "Three-hundred!? I'll be back in a minute."

Vegeta smirked, "Heh. There's no way she can get three-hundred--"

"Here you go!"

Standing on the counter was a tower. "Three-hundred cupcakes, counted to the exact number! I hope you enjoy!" Pinkie exclaimed to the duo.

Vegeta's jaw was agape, "Wha... But how?!"

Rubbing his hands, Goku heard his stomach again, "This world is awesome!" he grabbed the tray by the sides and balanced it as he slowly walked, "Whoever eats more wins, Vegeta!"

Instead of answering, Vegeta shook his head in disbelief, "What have I gotten myself into..."

Some New Friends! Saiyans and Ponies!

Goku munched on another cupcake, his cheeks filled with them. Vegeta's face mirrored his as they devoured the treats atop the tray. The Saiyans chewed loudly and a little obnoxiously, but to them, it didn't matter and probably never will.

"Hey... Vegeta..." muttered Goku, his mouth, "I'm winning."

Vegeta chowed down, "Yeah... Right... I've eaten more..." he gulped a cupcake without swallowing,

"Nah." Goku said with a swift shake of his head. "How many more are there anyway?"

"One-hundred ninty-seven!" answered Pinkie, appearing behind Goku, making him jump in surprise.

"Woah... Do you know Instant Transmission too?" the Saiyan asked curiously.

Pinkie blinked, "Insta-wha now?"

Vegeta crossed his arms, "How are you able to do such trickery mare?" he asked.

Shrugging, Pinkie answered, "I dunno!"

"Wonderful. Not only are we stuck in a world of colorful ponies, but now they live off logic that makes no sense!" huffed Vegeta, reaching for yet another sweet treat before his rival could finish devouring them all in that time.

Pinkie put her hooves on the table, "So... How are you going to pay for all these? Nopony has ever bought so many cupcakes!" she wondered aloud to the duo.

Putting his hand in his gi, Goku spoke, "I think I should have some money from when I was farmin'." he put some coins on the table, plenty to pay for the food. "Here you go!"

The pink mare looked at the coins, "I have no idea what those are!" she said gleefully.

"Those are Zeni! The money from our world." Goku explained.

"But we use bits here."

"Kakarot..." Vegeta sighed, "You mean to tell me we bought food on another planet and you did not once think about the planetary currency?" he asked.

Rubbing his neck, Goku replied, "Uh... Yes?"

"Good." then Vegeta landed a punch to Goku's face, surprising the Saiyan and Pinkie.

"Ow..." whined the orange-clad Saiyan, holding his nose, "What'd ya do that for, Vegeta?"

"Yeah! That wasn't very nice!" Pinkie growled.

With a grunt, Vegeta replied, "He deserved it. Simple as that." a thin smirk was seen on his face. "Now, is there anyway we are able to pay for these... surprisingly delicious snacks?" he questioned, putting a hand on the table and then grabbing another cupcake from the pile, swallowing it whole.

"Hey! That was mine." Goku grunted.

Pinkie put a hoof to her chin, "Well... I dunno. We're okay here at the shop. Maybe one of my friends can help. I think you should meet them soon."

"And why is that?" Goku asked.

"One of them's a princess, but she doesn't like to reference the fact often, so you didn't hear that from me." the pink mare whispered the last part to the warriors, who nodded.

Vegeta hummed, "Royalty. And one who is not prideful in their title. Perhaps it'd be a wise decision, Kakarot. If we were to ally with a princess, we'd be better off here while not making more enemies than usual."

"Yeah, I'd like to meet your friends, Pinkie." Goku admitted with a huge grin.

The Saiyan prince groaned, "We are not here to make friends, Kakarot. We are here to train and nothing more!"

"But Vegeta... I think this is what Whis wanted us to do. Remember what he said?" the Saiyan reminded his ally, "He wanted us to better ourselves here. I think that includes befriending the ponies here. Maybe they can teach us something that we never figured out." he added.

"...Fine." Vegeta huffed out after a small pause, "After I best you in eating this, we will go. Then, we'll worry about payment for this amount of food."

"Alright." said the other Saiyan and pony.

"I can't believe it was a tie..." Vegeta groaned.

"Hey, I'm surprised we somehow managed to eat a hundred and fifty of those." Goku commented. The warriors and Pinkie were wandering through Ponyville to wherever her friends were at. "Still, the two of us hadn't done anything like that since before Beerus showed up. It's nice to have some downtime, I'll admit."

"So, what are you two anyway? Aliens?" Pinkie asked, butting into the conversation. She hopped with each step Goku and Vegeta took, the two of choosing to reserve ki for later.

"If you must know, mare. We are Saiyans. Perhaps it would be better if we exchanged formalities once we meet these friends of yours." decided Vegeta. 'I can't believe I'm explaining myself to a damn talking pink horse. The gods must be taking pleasure in my bizarre torture. I'm not sure how Kakarot is able to be okay with this.'

Goku, Vegeta, and Pinkie finally arrived to where she wanted to go. It was a castle that towered the three of them, shining and appearing to be made of crystal. "Huh. That's actually a bigger building than I thought. This is where you wanted to go, Pinkie?" Goku wondered, rubbing the back of his head.

"Uh-huh! This is the castle!" Pinkie Pie replied.

"This...?" Vegeta asked, holding back a chuckle, "This is a castle? It looks like an enlarged toy set."

"Well, that's rude, Vegeta," Goku sighed, "I think it looks alright."

"Yeah!" agreed Pinkie, "How about I knock for you?"

"Hmph. Pleasure's all yours, pink mare." Vegeta replied.

And so, Pinkie trotted to the large door and knocked on it three times. The three waited for only a moment. The sound of creaking got their attention. The door slowly opened up, and the Saiyans could see an empty long hallway through what they could see as the door opened. Greeting them was a small purple lizard creature, "Pinkie? Where in Equestria did you go...?" he asked, his eyes gazing at the bipedals strangers, "And who's standing behind you?"

"Oh! Spike, meet Goku and Vegeta!" introduced Pinkie.

"Hey!" Goku greeted.

The dragon, Spike, raised a brow, "Uh, okay. Come on in, I guess. If Pinkie trusts you..." he muttered.

"Hmph. Nerve of you, dragon." Vegeta grumbled.

Goku and Vegeta stepped inside, following Pinkie and Spike. "Woah. This place is way bigger on the inside." commented Goku, looking upward. "How do you know your way around?"

"It took a long while to remember." said Spike, "Anyway, how did you two end up here? I thought you only existed in that mirror world Twilight and I were in."

"Mirror world?" Vegeta world, "Is this a storybook as well? If you truly wish to know, we are warriors from Earth. Sent here for some strange reason."

The four entered another door, opening it to reveal five mares sitting on giant chairs around a circular table. "Hi, girls! I'm baaacck!" sang Pinkie.

Rainbow Dash flew down to the pink mare, "Where the heck did you go, Pinkie? You just sorta up and vanished without even a trace. How did you even do that?"

Pinkie inhaled, "Remember that super-doozy I had?" at her friends' nods, she continued, "Well, I went to Sugarcube Corner, met these two strange people who ordered three-hundred cupcakes and now they need a way to pay for that! And I wanted to see if any of you could help!"

Twilight raised a brow, "Pinkie, what are you talking about? What strangers?"

"Yo!"

It was at that moment, Goku and Vegeta walked in with Spike. "Nice to meet you! I'm Goku. And that's Vegeta." Goku introduced the two of them, getting a wide-eyed glance from the ponies. Vegeta crossed his arms in silence. The orange-clad Saiyan put his hands on his hips. "You're all Pinkie's friends, right?"

"Uh..." Twilight studdered, unable to process words.

"I wasn't expectin' this..." Applejack muttered, "Um... Name's Applejack."

Rarity looked at the Saiyans, "I'm Rarity, and I must compliment the gi you're wearing, Goku. And your grey armor as well, Vegeta."

"Thanks!"

'Satisfaction from a unicorn...' thought Vegeta in his head, 'Damn Whis...'

Rainbow Dash sighed, "You make the strangest friends, Pinkie. I'm Rainbow Dash, fastest flyer in all of Equestria and now Wonderbolt!" she boasted, patting a hoof on her chest.

"I-I'm Fluttershy..." whimpered the yellow pegasus.

"A-And I'm Twilight Sparkle." the alicorn managed to say, "It's a pleasure to have you here, I guess. But why are you here exactly?"

"Yeah, about that..." Goku chuckled, "We're here to train."

"Train?" Rainbow repeated. "Train for what?"

"To become the strongest!" replied Goku with a raised fist.

"Kakarot and I were brought here to hone our abilities. We're Saiyans. A race of warriors, of which I'm the prince."

Spike looked at the Saiyan prince, "You're a prince? Funny, Twilight's a princess!"

Twilight gritted her teeth, "Spike."

Vegeta crossed his arms, "So, you're the humble princess. I'll admit, it's not everyday I meet royalty. Take pleasure in that title and the subjects you rule over."

"And why should I?" Twilight asked.

Goku frowned, "We're, uh... We're the last Saiyans..."

"The last?" Rarity gasped, "That's terrible! How did that happen?"

"It's because--"

A loud knock broke Goku out of the story, prompting Twilight to flap her wings. "I'll get it." she went through the hallways and arrived at the door. She opened it to see two Royal Guards.

"Good morning, Princess Twilight. We've come with news from Princess Celestia herself." one of the guards explained.

"What kind of news?"

The princess was handed over a piece of paper, with crude drawings of the two Saiyans she just met, "We heard reports that two strange creatures were here, do you know what we're talking about?"

With a quiet gulp, Twilight responded, "A-Are they bad?"

The guards shook their heads, "Oh no, they haven't done anything. Princess Celestia and Princess Luna only wishes to see them. For what reason, we're not sure. She said it was private. And for you and your friends to come as well."

"O-Okay. Girls, Spike!" she called out.

"Is everything alright, Twi?" Rainbow asked, bolting ahead in midair.

"Yeah, we have to got to Canterlot." Twilight explained.

"Why?" Spike asked.

"Goku! Vegeta!" Twilight called out again.

The two Saiyans slowly walked out, "Why are you being so loud?!" Vegeta grunted, "We're not that far away!"

The guards got a closer look at the warriors, "Oh, who are they?" Goku asked.

"W-We're your escort. Sent by Princess Celestia. Do not worry, you are in no trouble." the guards assured.

"Another princess? Pheh. Let's get this over with." Vegeta grunted.

Goku nodded, "More royalty? How did she know about us? We just got here!"

"That's why we're coming." Twilight said, "I'm sure Princess Celestia will explain."

"She better!" Vegeta yelled.

The Royal Meeting! The Princesses Knew?!

Canterlot...

Goku, Vegeta and the ponies walked through the large halls of the Royal Castle. "So you mean to tell me this city's on the side of a mountain? How does that work?" Goku asked curiously.

"It's always been like this, Goku." Twilight pointed out. "It's just something I've come to accept."

The Saiyan rubbed his head, "Well, I wouldn't know. Then again, my world is strange enough as it is."

Changing the subject, Vegeta asked, "Why does this princess want to see us? We have done nothing wrong. Other than Kakarot forgetting to pay for a simple treat."

Spike raised a brow, "Simple treat? You ordered three hundred cupcakes!"

The group made it to the doors of the throne room. Before they entered however, Twilight gave the Saiyans a warning. "Princess Celestia and Princess Luna are the highest rulers in Equestria. The two of you should be on your best behavior."

Goku raised his hands, "Alright, jeez." Vegeta merely gave a silent huff in response.

The doors opened, allowing the group to walk in. Sitting on adjacent thrones were Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, who stoically looked at the two Saiyans. The group stopped and the ponies and dragon bowed lightly.

"Yo, I'm Goku!" Goku greeted. This earned a kick to the shin from Twilight, who hissed.

"Be respectful..."

Goku and Vegeta shook their heads, "Oh, right." he bowed slightly as a formal gesture. "A pleasure to meet you, Princesses. I'm Goku and that's Vegeta," said Saiyan Prince remained standing still, his arms crossed and a frown on his face.

Princess Celestia giggled, "It is quite alright, my little ponies. The formalities are not needed today."

The Equestrians raised their heads. "So, why have you called on us, Celestia?" Vegeta asked.

Rarity nodded, "Yes. How do you know of these two already? We had only met mere moments before your guards arrived to bring us to Canterlot."

Celestia raised a brow, "Well, if you must know, I had assistance in arranging your arrival here, Goku and Vegeta. Thanks to an old friend, of course." she smiled softly.

"W-Wait... You mean you knew the two were coming?" Twilight questioned the older princess.

"Yes, Twilight Sparkle. We knew of their presence as soon as they arrived."

Vegeta scowled, "Whis."

Celestia chuckled, "Correct, Prince Vegeta. The angel Whis had wanted the two of you here not only to train physically, but in order to learn thr magic of friendship here in Equestria." she saw Vegeta shake his head and gag at the words, which she ignored for the sake of the conversation at hand.

"Hey, I have plenty of friends back home! Like Krillin, Tien, Master Roshi, Yamcha, Bulma..." Goku counted his fingers, naming each of his friends before Luna stopped him.

"I do believe my sister is teaching the two specifically of you to work better. I was in the conversation with Whis, and overheard how the two of you behave." the Moon Princess elaborated.

"Hold on... How do you two know of Whis? And do you know Lord Beerus?" Goku wondered.

Celestia looked at the small staff that was given to her, "Lord Beerus and Whis had arrived on our world sometime before... Before Luna became Nightmare Moon. He had come seeking delicious food. At the time, we were nervous of his power as a God of Destruction, but after he tried our food, he calmed down."

Luna grinned, "Ah yes, I do remember that. He was actually reserved if you didn't set off his temper. Luckily, Whis was there to keep him in check in case he overreacted to something. Lord Beerus was in the end, a friendly visitor of Equestria and had made good connections with us, and even left us with a staff to communicate with in the future."

"Time had passed and very recently had an idea popped into my head. With the arrival of Beerus came the knowledge of other worlds. It was at the time I called Whis, and he told me of his recent trip to Earth. To find the fabled Super Saiyan God Beerus had dreamed about, waking him from another nap."

"Super Saiyan God?" Fluttershy repeated. "These two are Saiyans... You mean..."

Celestia raised a hoof and continued speaking, "He discussed what had occurred. He told me of you, Son Goku." said Saiyan pointed a thumb at himself in confusion, "Yes. He said you were the fabled Super Saiyan God Beerus was searching for."

"Yeah... But it wasn't my power that stopped him. I had to gain such power from Vegeta and our sons." Goku sighed, the ponies getting wide-eyed at the revelation the two of them were fathers.

"Hold on... You're dads?" Rainbow asked.

"Yeah. Gohan and Goten are my sons. Trunks is Vegeta's. We combined our power along with Gohan's wife, who was about to have a child, in order for me to complete a ritual and allowed me to transform into a Super Saiyan God. Vegeta's almost there in gaining the power himself." boasted the orange-clad Saiyan.

Vegeta smirked, "You sound surprised. For once, I will surpass you in power." he clenched his fist. "The training we have undergone is working in my favor."

Celestia cleared her throat, "Anyway, Beerus saw the potential in you. After the two of you underwent training from Whis to hone the powers of this Super Saiyan God form, he came to me about my proposition. I wanted to establish connections with other worlds as a gesture of friendship and decided the two of you would make great ambassadors of Earth."

The Saiyan Prince turned his head, "So, he had all this planned from the start. He's more clever than I give him credit."

"So that's why the two of them are here?" Rainbow asked. "To be ambassadors?"

"Yes, Rainbow Dash." Luna answered, "But I have heard of how the two of you are. In exchange for aiding us, we will permit the two of you to train. The only time we will call for you is for the Gala or a threat catches us off guard."

"Awesome!" Goku cheered.

"Just don't get in our way." Vegeta groaned.

Pinkie raised a hoof, "Is this a paying job?"

"And why does thou ask, Pinkie?" Luna wondered.

"Because these two bought three-hundred cupcakes and have no way of paying for it." Goku chuckled sheepishly and Vegeta rolled his eyes at his rival, annoyed.

"We will pay for the bill, Pinkie Pie." Celestia agreed, "Whis also told me of your appetite and will request more food for the Gala when the time comes."

Goku grinned, "Heh heh. Yeah sorry, it just sorta happens."

"There is no need to apologize, Son Goku... But there is something I am interested in before you leave." Celestia said.

Goku put his hands on his hips, "What is it?"

"I think I wish to see the two of you in action. We were told of how strong you two are, but I want to see it for myself." the Sun Princess offered.

"A fight? Are you sure that's alright?" Twilight wondered. "You said they were practically gods!"

Vegeta faced the purple alicorn, "Kakarot and I spar all the time." he faced the Royal Sisters, "Very well. I will accept this. Only to prove myself against Kakarot."

"Hey, don't I get a say in this, Vegeta? You know I want to fight!" Goku whined. "It's time to put all that training to the test!"

Vegeta scowled, "It's time I showed you how strong I've become."

"Oh dear..." Rarity gulped.

Celestia and Luna stood up, "Very well, Saiyans. We will take you to the arena."

A Test of Strength! Goku vs. Vegeta!

View Online

"Not a bad arena you have." Goku complimented, seeing the square tiled stone floor located in a forest not too far away from Canterlot. He hovered as did Vegeta onto it. "So, you want us to spar huh? Fair warning, we don't like to hold back."

"As if I ever would against you, Kakarot." Vegeta groaned.

Celestia smirked, "Oh, do not worry. I wish to see your full power. For future reference of course."

The Saiyan Prince rolled his eyes, "That doesn't sound suspicious at all." he muttered

"Vegeta. It is nothing bad. I just wish to see if Whis is correct in describing your potential." Celestia corrected the tempered Saiyan, who faced his rival.

There were bleachers nearby the arena, allowing the ponies attending to watch the fight. "Aw yeah! Epic alien fight!" Rainbow cheered, "My money's on Goku!" she boasted, raising a hoof. "This is gonna be fun to watch."

"Are you sure this is safe, Princess Celestia?" Twilight asked, "You mentioned that they were gods. Imagine the damage the two of them can cause!"

"It will be fine, Twilight. I have erected a forcefield around the arena to withstand their overwhelming power." assured the Sun Princess with a wave of her hoof. "We will be safe from over here. This is merely a study session if you will."

"Study? I didn't bring any notepads." Twilight groaned.

Applejack nudged the purple alicorn's shoulder, "Ah think she meant that figuratively, Twi. We're just gonna see what the fuss is with these two." she said.

"Yes! Time to d-d-d-duel!" Pinkie cheered, with a raised foam finger in her hoof. And a soda hat on top of her head. There were pictures of Vegeta on the soda hat and the finger read, 'Vegeta #1'. The others gave her a confused glance.

"Where did you get that, Pinkie?" Rarity wondered.

The pink mare shrugged, "Merchandise."

Back with the Saiyans, Goku and Vegeta stood across from one another on the opposite ends of the arena. The orange-clad Saiyan smirked, "Heh. It's just like old times huh Vegeta?" he asked his rival, who chuckled darkly at his words.

"Indeed, Kakarot. But just know, this time I will best you." Vegeta boasted with a smirk. "It's time we put our training to the test. Don't you dare hold back!"

Goku rubbed his head, "Nah. I think this should be all-out. Though, we should spare the theatrics for when we feel like it."

"Glad you agree."

Silence passed among the warriors and spectators, the only sound being the wind blowing. Goku bent down, his body turned and arms stretched out on opposite ends and his left hand curled into a fist. A scowl formed on his features.

Vegeta bent his knees slightly and raised his right hand over his head in front of his face, his index and middle finger raised and curled. A confident smirk could be seen on his face.

Rainbow put her hooves to her face, "Wow. Intense."

"AHHHHHH!" screamed Goku, lunging after his rival. Vegeta blocked the punch with his elbow with one swift movement. "Hah!" he grunted, bringing his leg to the prince's side.

Vegeta uppercutted Goku, surprising the warrior. He brought his head down and lunged a foot at his rival, kicking Vegeta down. The Saiyan Prince pushed himself up, performing a powerful kick to Goku's chest, making him hold it and inhale sharply, losing his breath for a brief moment.

"Cheap shot..." wheezed Goku.

"You were open." replied Vegeta in a stoic tone.

Goku extended a hand, "Oh yeah?" he then shot out a ball of energy in Vegeta's direction, prompting him to swipe it away. The prince extended both of his hands to shoot Ki in his opponent's direction. The warrior hovered and blocked out each blast with his own, making them stop in the middle.

"H-Huh? They c-can use magic?" Twilight blurted out in disbelief.

Celestia shook her head, "No, it is not. Whis called it Ki. It is the energy within them that gives them their strength. I was not told much else beyond that."

"What? So, can we do that?" Rainbow asked.

Luna looked at the cyan mare, "We are not too sure, Rainbow Dash. Perhaps Goku, Vegeta or anyone else from their world have a better understanding of it."

Goku and Vegeta traded punches, each collision of their fists creating small tremors in the air that nearly shook them had they not been used to such combat. Their battle screams could be heard as they dealt powerful blows to one another. The draw ended once Goku brought his elbow forward to Vegeta's face.

"Grr..." grunted Vegeta. "Grah!" he shot out two more Ki beams in Goku's direction and he was launched back slightly by the force of the attack.

"Ha!" Goku screamed, lunging forward to perform a spinning kick which Vegeta ducked under. They hovered in midair as they traded attacks once again.

"Take this!" Goku yelled, after teleporting behind Vegeta and grabbing him and throwing him, holding him by his foot and spinning him around before letting go.

The two vanished in a blur once Vegeta got his bearings, "You're going to regret doing that, Kakarot!" he grunted as he brought his elbow forward as did Goku, creating a tremor that disturbed the air. The two paused before throwing a flurry of punches at one another, making them turn their heads in pain as a result.

The collision ended once Goku raised his arms, driving them down on Vegeta's head. The prince was knocked to the ground, but he wasn't down for long once the ground stopped shaking from the force of the fall. "Ha!" he yelled, flying back after his rival, kneeing him in the face, launching Goku back a little.

"Wow. Those two are powerful." Applejack commented, holding on to her stetson.

"I've never seen such finesse in fighting." Rarity added, nervously putting a hoof under her chin.

"Looks pretty cool, actually." Spike grinned.

Goku and Vegeta panted, wiping the blood on their faces. The orange-clad warrior grinned, "Say, Vegeta. How about we up the ante?" he offered.

"I thought you'd never ask."

The two Saiyans extended their arms and hunched down slightly as they descended. The ground began to shake and pieces of the arena began to fly upwards. The ponies did their best to stay still admist the sudden power overload coming from the warriors.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!"

Auras covered the duo as they screamed as loud as they could, getting brighter with each second.

"How long can they do that for?" Fluttershy wondered, "It can't be good for their lungs..."

"I do that all the time!" Pinkie assured, "They're fine."

The screaming ceased at last, and the Equestrians, minus the Princesses, went wide-eyed at what they witnessed.

Goku and Vegeta's hair was spiked up (the latter's moreso) and was yellow, and auras of the same color covered them. "W-What happened?" Rainbow asked loudly, her jaw agape.

"Heh." chuckled Goku, "This is what we call a Super Saiyan. It's a transformation that makes us stronger."

"Enough talk, Kakarot. I think a demonstration is necessary." Vegeta scoffed.

"Alright then!" Goku screamed, his and Vegeta's fists colliding. The two paused for a second before flying again. Grunts could be heard from them as they were equal in combat.

Vegeta growled, kicking Goku's side, before uppercutting him. In response, Goku lunged his fist directly into Vegeta's stomach, making him spit in pain.

"Egh. That looked awfully rough." Rarity gagged.

Twilight flinched, "Yeah. For a friendly spar, they're awfully violent with one another."

"Grah!" Goku yelled. The two vanished once again, dealing each other more punches and kicks that created small shockwaves in the air as a result. Eventually, the two were seen again.

Vegeta drove his fist directly into Goku's cheek, his head turning the side as a result. Goku countered with a headbutt and a ki blast to the stomach. The Sayian prince held his aching head and staggered back, annoyed by his opponent's tactics. He could hear his rival snicker playfully. "Take this!" he yelled, flying in an arch around Goku, who tried to blast him to no avail. Instead, he took a foot to the face and was slammed down.

On the ground was Goku, his face planted directly planted into the arena. "Ow..." he could be heard muttering. Vegeta planted a foot on his back, crossing his arms smugly.

"Had enough, Kakarot?" he asked. Suddenly, Goku vanished. Before he could react, Vegeta felt something on his back, making him bucklemdown in pain. He saw Goku's feet descend in front of him. A smirk could be seen, "Not bad..."

"Thanks. I've been practicing." Goku bragged.

Vegeta began to hover, prompting Goku to do the same. "I see. How about we finish this fight once and for all."

"Heh heh. I'm in."

The two Saiyans back away from one another, confusing the ponies on what they were doing. They could be seen positioning their arms differently. Goku hunched down slightly, his arms to the side of his waist. Vegeta brought both of his arms upwards. Their palms were cupped as if they were holding something.

"What in tarnation are they doin'?" asked Applejack.

"KA... ME..."

"GALICK..."

Blue energy began to form in Goku's hands, creating a noise that surprised the ponies. Purple energy began to appear on Vegeta's hands as they shouted some strange words. "What are they saying?" Twilight wondered.

"Yeah. Is that Ki?" Spike questioned.

Rainbow crossed her hooves, "I wish I knew..."

"HA...ME..." Goku continued as loud as he could.

"HA!" Goku finished, releasing a powerful blue beam.

"GUN!" Vegeta finished, shooting a purple beam.

The entire world seemed to tremble as their beams locked in a struggle. "Woah! That's awesome!" Rainbow admitted. "They gotta teach me how to do that!"

"That is pretty impressive." hummed Twilight, wondering how they're doing this.

"I was not expecting this..." muttered Celestia.

Goku and Vegeta exerted as much energy as they could in their Kamehameha and Galick Gun struggle. "AAAAHHH!" they could be heard screaming, the beams still colliding in the middle. The beams constantly moved back and forth, leaving the Equestrians to wonder who was going to win.

But, the two gave out, their arms still extended. The Saiyans panted, their hair changing back from yellow to black. "Heh. Guess we overdid it, huh Vegeta?" he asked.

"Nonsense." panted Vegeta, "I only wish to reserve my power for later. Using all of our strength here would be useless."

"T-They were holding back?" Fluttershy gulped.

Luna held her head, "After all that boasting. There is still more to them."

Goku and Vegeta walked out of the arena, seemingly unaffected by their bout. "So, what do you think?" wondered Goku.

"I think we were all impressed, Goku. Whis was correct in describing the power you two share. Perhaps we shall talk of the Grand Galloping Gala now."

"Hmph. What shall we be doing?" Vegeta huffed.

"We only wish to introduce yourselves to Equestria." Luna said. "It is in only a few days so be prepared."

"Alright then." Goku agreed. "So, uh... Where will be staying?"

"Twilight Sparkle..." Celestia called out, "Do you have available space for the two Saiyans?"

Twilight mumbled, "I think so."

"I wish for these two to stay with you for as long as they're here."

"Um... S-sure." Twilight slowly agreed.

"Awesome!" Spike cheered, "This might be the best Gala ever!"

Luna chuckled, "Mayhaps. Thou thinks you shall all return to Ponyville to rest and ready for the big night."

Unknown

Three beings floated around an endless purple void. Floating crystals surrounded them, each of them filled with images of past events. The tall one wore blue formal garb, had long red hair pinned upwards and a nasty scowl on his face. Floating behind him was a blue female with a staff, who had arrived from witnessing Goku and Vegeta's battle. Next to her was another blue warrior, wearing red and white armor and a stoic look to his face.

The leader turned around, "What is it?"

The female kneeled down, "My Lord. Son Goku and Vegeta are now in the land of Equestria. They were interacting with the locals and are about to attend what is known as a Gala, a public event in their world. Shall we interfere directly?" she asked.

The leader chuckled. "Not yet. Have you spotted anything else?"

"Yes. The two were sparring." the blue male added.

"Heh. Perhaps we can have a little fun with them there. I too have noticed something in that world. Something that can benefit us in the end." he brought a crystal to them. Projecting on the crystal was a purple unicorn with a mane a shade darker with a mint green highlight. "Mira, Towa. This is Starlight Glimmer. A unicorn prodigy bent on equality in that world. She has seeked revenge since the former Elements of Harmony ruined her world view. Perhaps you two can give her a little push before the gala the Saiyans are attending."

Towa chuckled darkly, "Of course, Lord Demigra. And perhaps we can cause a little more mayhem."

As she said this, she showed Mira and Demigra another crystal, one that showed Vegeta. The warrior and Demon God knew of her plan and agreed to it. Demigra spoke, "Very well. You shall meet with Starlight Glimmer before the Gala. With the dark magic from your staff, she shall be powerful enough to eradicate the ponies and perhaps the Saiyans. They will die at last. And my freedom shall be closer." he crossed his arms smugly, liking the plan.

Before the Big Night! What Can Go Wrong?

View Online

"Ugh. How much longer do I have to stand here?" groaned Goku, remaining still as Rarity moved measuring tape and a ruler with her magic. "It feels like we've been here all day!" he whined, doing his best to stay stiff.

The two Saiyans were in Rarity's home, the Carasoul Boutique. Twilight had requested that the two of them get ready for the Grand Galloping Gala, which was coming soon and had decided to see for themselves they were getting ready. It was in about a day, and so Rarity made sure to move as fast as she could in order to get the two warriors ready for the big night.

"I only wish to gain your measurements so I can begin making you your formal suits. You must look dashing for the Gala after all." Rarity hummed, her eyes never turning away from the ruler, which was covered in a blue aura.

Vegeta spoke up, "Perhaps you can speed things up? Kakarot and I do not have all day to waste fitting tuxedos."

The white unicorn pursed her lips, "and what, pray tell, do you have to do that's more important?" she asked.

Twilight nodded, "Yeah. This is pretty big."

"To train of course." Goku said.

"Is that how you'll pass the time in this new world?" Rarity wondered, "Here you are in a strange land to learn about friendship, and you're both acting childish over something so trivial." she sighed.

"It is how we Saiyans behave." Vegeta revealed, "And I will be damned if Kakarot gets one step ahead of me again." he grunted under his brrath inaudibly.

Rarity sighed again, "If you are to be in Equestria, I refuse to have the two of you like such... barbarians. Perhaps a nice break from fighting will ease you, like right now." she suggested.

Goku smiled, "You're right. Do you have any food here? I can use a break." he laughed. Vegeta shook his head at his ally's quip and Rarity lowered her head in annoyance, choosing to remain as neutral as possible.

"So, what is this Gala anyway? Why should it matter if the two of us even attend?" Vegeta questioned.

Twilight decided to answer, "The Grand Galloping Gala is the biggest social event in Equestria. Ponies of high status as well as the Princesses will attend. She already mentioned that you two will be ambassadors representing your world as a step in extending friendship across different worlds."

Goku nodded, "That actually sounds pretty cool. The last formal event I went to was a tournament. I can only hope history doesn't repeat itself." he faced Vegeta, who nodded in agreement, choosing to remain silent on the matter.

"Speaking of the Gala..." a deep voice called out of nowhere. Appearing out of thin air was a bizarre bipedal creature that had various body parts of animals on him. A bear paw, talons, horns and other creatures. The Saiyans raised a brow at his sudden appearance as he wore a fancy top hat and monocle.

"Who the hell are you?" Vegeta asked in an annoyed tone.

The creature pointed at himself, "Oh dear. How rude of me. My name is Discord. Spirit of Chaos, at your service gents." he snapped his fingers, bringing into his hand two business cards, which he handed to Goku and Vegeta.

Twilight groaned, "Why are you here, Discord? What do you need?"

A halo appeared over Discord's head, "Why must you think there's a motif, dear Twilight?" the draconequss chuckled, patting the alicorn's head. "I cannot visit my dear friends and their new allies that are coming to the Grand Galloping Gala?"

"Because speaking from experience in knowing me. That's half the reason you show up." Twilight replied in a deadpan matter.

"Heh. You kinda remind me of Buu." Goku snickered.

Discord opened a book, "Never heard of him. But I think you and I will get along fine, Son Goku." he wrapped an arm around the Saiyan, who smiled nervously.

"How do you know our names?" Vegeta asked.

"Discord is... an odd one." Rarity revealed.

The draconequss snickered, "I know lots of things, Vegeta. As a master of disharmony it is my job to create just a little chaos. But enough about me, let's talk about me."

"Huh?" Goku blurted out.

Raising a talon, Discord put on a soldier hat and grabbed a staff in his free hand, now ready to speak, "The reason I am here is because my dear Fluttershy already has a plus one to the Gala and didn't invite me. Not like I'm jealous anyway. But I was hoping if any of you could maybe... Have me as a guest?" he smiled sheepishly.

"I knew it." Twilight huffed.

"Quite sorry, Discord. But a few of us already have plus ones." Rarity apologized.

Discord wrapped his arms around his Saiyans, "What about these two? Surely one of them's going alone?" he pulled out a camera and took a photo. The flash was on, blinding the warriors for a few seconds.

"No." Vegeta dismissed. "Get your arm off me." he saw Goku rub his eyes.

Twiight put a hoof to her head, "If it'll get you out of here, then sure."

Discord smirk, "I'll go with Vegeta!"

"What?! Are you mad?" Vegeta nearly screamed.

The Spirit of Chaos chuckled, "Oh lighten up, Vegeta. I swear you're as uptight as that other version I saw before."

"Other version?" Goku wondered.

Discord snapped his fingers and made a screen appear in midair. The group watched as Vegeta yell countless things to their friends back on Earth, seemingly from past adventures. As well as a few things from Goku.

"God damn it, Nappa."

"I AM THE HYPE!"

"I did sit-ups, push-ups and drank plenty of juice!"

"Hey, best buddy!" Goku could be heard.

"Shut up idiot!"

The screen faded and Discord was left wiping a tear from his eye from laughing too hard. "Those versions of you two are a raging blast. It's strange hiw act so different."

"I-I do not act like... Him." Vegeta gasped.

Goku nudged his rival's elbow, "Pretty accurate if you ask me." that earned a punch to the stomach, "Ow..."

"If it'll get you to leave me alone, then you can be my guest, but please never bring that up again." Vegeta decided.

Discord nodded, rubbing Goku's hair, "And don't feel left out, Goku. I have another friend who can use your company. He has an appetite like you!"

"A-Alright. And hey, maybe you and I can see more of that! That was pretty fun!" Goku admitted with a snicker.

The draconequss laughed, "Maybe, but for now I must bid adieu!" and with that, Discord finally left.

"Thank Celestia," exhaled Twilight, "Hopefully that's it for today."

"He seems nice." Goku said.

Vegeta crossed his arms, "Maybe for you."

Nearby Canterlot

Starlight Glimmer slowly wandered through the forests. Her destination unknown. All she knew was that everything she had, was torn apart. All thanks to one princess and her friends.

"Twilight Sparkle..." Starlight growled.

I was because of her that her utopia was gone. The beginning of equality across Equestria. And now all that's gone. She was left with nothing, forced out of the town she ruled. The staff, gone. All she had was her magic and she wished to hone it to her advantage for when the time came. But she wished it could come sooner.

"They took it all away from me. If only I can get back at them..."

"Oh, is that a plea I hear?"

Appearing in front of Starlight was a blue woman with a staff in hand. She gave the unicorn a sinister smile. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Starlight Glimmer."

The unicorn gulped, "H-How do you know me? Please don't kill me..."

"Kill you? No... I have something better in mind. I am Towa, I come from a different world. Believe it or not, our motives have crossed." she raised her staff, bringing projections of two Saiyans she knew.

"Who are they? And what does this have to do with me?" Starlight asked.

Towa raised her head, "They are Goku and Vegeta. The reason I'm here is because they have befriended Princess Twilight Sparkle. These two Saiyans are powerful beyond your wildest imagination. That's why I have come. To give you the power necessary to destroy the Equestrians and hold off the Saiyans. They will be at the Grand Galloping Gala tomorrow in Canterlot. You have nothing, Starlight. Allow me to help you."

"I see... I-I agree to help you. Only to get my revenge on Twilight Sparkle." decided Starlight.

Smirking, Towa raised her staff, "Excellent choice." an aura of purple began to cover Starlight's entire body, her body glowed darker and her eyes flashed red before her pupils remained that color. "Now I must be on my way. Take the time to adjust to your new power." she said before vanishing.

Starlight chuckled deviously, hovering in the air without the need for magic, "Oh. I will."

The Big Night! At the Gala!

View Online

The carriages finally stopped in front of the castle. Once they stopped, the guards opened the doors one by one. Stepping out of the first one, were the former Elements of Harmony, each wearing a dress Rarity had made for them in the last Gala. Spike followed suit, earing a nice tuxedo and bowtie.

Next to come out was Vegeta, his arms folded as he walked and a familiar, yet surprisingly formal dressed draconequss hovering behind him. "You should learn to lighten up, Vegeta." Discord chuckled, trying to massage the Saiyan Prince's shoulders.

"Get your hands off me." muttered Vegeta.

Last was Goku, giving a sheepish smile to the ponies as a green creature of goo slid behind him like a snail, creating a trail of green slime on the floor. "Ha ha! Sorry aboust Smooze everybody! Discord said he'd be cool to invite." he assured.

The ponies looked in awe at Goku and Vegeta, the two Saiyans really have not made themselves public outside of Ponyville, but Goku, being the friendly fellow, waved to them as he and Vegeta stepped into the Gala itself. "I still can't believe we're being treated like diplomatic figures. I only came to train, not make peace with an alien race..." muttered Vegeta to himself.

"Ah, lighten up, Vegeta." Goku lightly laughed, "I'm sure this will be quick. On the bright side, once we do this, we don't have to worry about the ponies chasing us or something!"

The prince huffed, "It better be quick."

The two Saiyans took a seat at a table reserved for them, choosing not to do any socializing. "Where the hell is that bizarre creature?" Vegeta asked, referring to Discord. Goku pointed to his left, seeing that the spirit of chaos was conversing with Fluttershy and her plus one, Tree Hugger. "Never mind. Whatever keeps him away from me. And where is your supposed plus one?"

"I dunno." shrugged Goku, as he said that, he saw a ball of green slime fly past him, it filled with jewelry. "Uh... Never mind."

Pinkie hopped by, "Hey guys! Why are you just sitting around for? The party's just getting started!"

Goku laughed, rubbing the back of his neck, "I can't, Pinkie. I'm stuck wearing this small, itchy suit. It looks like something Chi-Chi would give me for something like this."

"And I'd rather not join in." Vegeta admitted. "None of the ponies should dare speak to me. It's for their sake. Not so much mine."

Goku looked to Vegeta, "That sounds awfully threatening."

"Oh, it does."

The Saiyans turned their head at the sound of the voice. Standing before them was a white unicorn with a blonde mane. "I'm not sure why my aunts would want such alien barbarians as diplomatic representatives if this is how you behave."

"And who are you supposed to be?" Vegeta growled, watching as Pinkie backed away.

"Excuse you. I am Prince Blueblood. I have the right mind to tell you to leave. After all, Equestria is no place for aliens like you." Blueblood gagged. "Truthfully, I'm not sure why you would bother showing up to such a high-class regal gathering."

Goku whispered to his friend, "He's starting to act like you when we first met."

Vegeta whispered back, "I know. And it's starting to irritate me."

"You dare whisper in front of me?" Blueblood whispered in a louder tone to get their attention. "I wish to know what you're talking about when I can't hear."

"Got some attitude. I can respect that." Vegeta muttered, standing on his feet.

Blueblood said, "Oh, I knew you would respect my authority. Honestly, you seem more respectful than those peasant Elements of Harmony my aunts seem to love. I'm not sure why they were invited."

Goku folded his arms, "Okay, now that was rude."

"Peasants like you wouldn't understand where I am coming from. They ruined the last Gala." Blueblood waved off, "Now if you excuse me, I have better matters to attend to." he was about to walk off, but Vegeta grabbed him by the collar and held him still.

A scowl was seen on the Saiyan Prince's features, "Listen here, you spoiled brat. I am no mere peasant and strangely enough, neither is Kakarot. We are an elite race called Saiyans, of which I am the prince of. The last of our kind."

Blueblood gritted his teeth, "No wonder your race is gone. You treat a figure of royalty like this? For shame!"

Vegeta smirked, using his other hand to charge a Ki blast, "Do you wish to repeat those words? If you must know, we have attained near godhood. It would be wise if you choose your next words very carefully." he muttered to the spoiled prince in a boastful tone.

"I-I'm sorry..." stammered Blueblood nervously.

The Saiyan Prince felt a nudge on his elbow, "Alright, Vegeta, I think he learned his lesson." hearing his ally's words, Vegeta released the prince, who inhaled sharply. "Now don't go insulting us or our friends again." Goku scolded. "We'll know."

"R-Right..." shuddered Blueblood. "E-Enjoy the Gala." he walked away, a nervous shake in each step.

Vegeta huffed, "Some prince. He shamed his title."

"At least you moved on from that phase." Goku sighed.

"Goku! Vegeta!" yelled Rainbow Dash, seeing her and the other girls trot to them. "We saw ya talkin' to that pompous jerk, Blueblood. Did he say anything insulting?"

"Oh, he tried. But I gave him a peek of true royalty." Vegeta boasted with a diabolical chuckle.

Goku laughed, "Don't worry. We handled it. In fact, we made sure he wouldn't bother you. From what we heard him say, he's kinda irritated with you from ruining the last Gala or something."

"It is quite a long story, darling." Rarity assured. "But I am glad to see you taught him a lesson."
"He was a kind of a jerk!" laughed Goku.

Pinkie gasped, "Kind of?"

Vegeta growled, "Can we stop talking about this? Didn't the Princesses want us to come here to have a formal introduction or whatever she invited us for?" he wondered.

Twilight nodded, "Yeah. In fact, she should be speaking in a minute."

Goku smiled, "Then let's get going! Once this is done, maybe I can snag a quick bite!"

Rainbow gestured behind her, "If Smooze doesn't get to the food first!"

"Aw..."

The lights dimmed in the hall, and on the stage was Princess Celestia, standing next to her was Princess Luna, the two of them also wearing formal wear. She tapped a microphone as she began to speak and everypony went silent, "Mares and gentlecolts..."

"It is with great pleasure that I introduce the first otherworlders outside of Equestria."

Discord shouted, "What about me?"

"Outside of Equestria." hissed Celestia, clearing her throat. "Anyway, they have lived in peace in Ponyville for a few days now. It is time I introduce and welcome Son Goku and Prince Vegeta to Equestria!"

The Saiyans stepped out from behind the curtains, Goku waving as the applause faded. "W-Wow. I wasn't expecting this kind of welcome. Basically, what I was hoping would happen would be that--"

BOOM!

Goku and Vegeta paused, the former halting speech at the sound of the explosion. The ponies shielded themselves and dived at the noise. The two Saiyans were the first to respond, the explosion being an obvious sign of danger. "Do you sense that Vegeta?" whispered Goku.

The prince nodded, "Ki. A strong signature at that. But who in this world has such power?"

"That would be me." said a bright purple unicorn with an aura a few shades darker covering her. Her eyes glowed red as she hovered in the hole she made, smoke fading from her horn, showing that she had used a spell.

"Starlight Glimmer?" gasped Twilight.

Starlight growled, "Yes, Twilight. I'm back. You'll pay for ruining my world order! And it starts with their demise!" she pointed to Goku and Vegeta who were obviously confused by this.

"We don't even know you, mare." grunted Vegeta.

"But I've heard of you and how powerful you are. You'd obviously be a detriment to my plan and I have just the way of stopping you." Starlight declared. She shot a beam of magic from her horn.

Nopony, not even Goku or Discord could react as the beam hit Vegeta. An 'S' formed on his head as he screamed in pain, an electric aura covering his body. "Vegeta!" yelled Goku, kneeling down to help his friend.

Vegeta's body was covered in the same aura as Starlight, his eyes sharing the red tint. "What did ya do?" Applejack asked aloud.

"C'mon Vegeta. Get up." Goku offered to help the fellow Saiyan stand, but when he reached a hand down, he was slapped away, causing him to be sent flying across the room.

Starlight laughed, seeing Vegeta stand on his own, an emotionless expression on his face. "He's my slave now. Now Goku will have no choice but to fight him and not intervene as I destroy you for destroying what I've achieved."

"You monster..." hissed Twilight.

"Monster? I consider myself a liberator." corrected the unicorn.

The girls gathered next to Twilight, ready to face the tyrant unicorn again. As Goku faced Vegeta for yet another battle.

Out of Control! Starlight's Revenge!

View Online

"You should've stayed back in that cave, Starlight!" Rainbow hissed at the dark magic engulfed unicorn. She stomped a hoof on the ground as she made this declaration, the other five appearing next to her and behind Twilight.

Starlight smirked, "I still think this was the wisest decision. After all, it will allow me to enact my revenge on you all for ruining my vision of Equestria." she declared.

"Hold it." Celestia ordered, her and her sister appearing in front of the unicorn. "You have put our subjects at risk." their horns lit up as she said this, scowls seen on their faces, "We wll have no choice but to detain you."

Starlight faked a gasp, "Oh no, I am so scared!" she shot a beam of magic at the alicorn sisters, entrapping them in a purple binding of sorts, squeezing their bodies.

"Celestia! Luna!" Twilight screamed.

Celestia struggled, "Don't worry about us!" she commanded, "Just make sure she doesn't hurt anypony else!"

Discord snapped his fingers, "I must say, I am all for a crazy time, but even I must admit this is rather crude. Do not worry, Fluttershy." he began to say to the yellow pegasus, "I will stand by you in this tough time and protect you. I know your dislike in fighting."

"Thank you, Discord." Fluttershy murmured.

The unicorn let out a snicker, "You think the Spirit of Disharmony can aid you? I've grown stronger than since we last met, Twilight Sparkle! Stronger than all of you combined!"

Goku growled, "All right, that's it!" he flew forward, ready to attack Starlight, but he felt an elbow to his face, halting his swift movement. When he turned he saw Vegeta, his body engulfed in the same purple aura still and his eyes blood red. "Oh come on, Vegeta! Now's not the time to fight!"

The Saiyan Prince yanked off his tuxedo and revealed his battle armor. Goku removed his suit and showed that he was still wearing his trademark orange gi, "Oh, you did that too? Thank goodness, I was getting stuffy in that!" he laughed lightly. His smile faded to that of a scowl, facing the enraged Saiyan.

"I didn't even come here to fight you, Son Goku. I wished to test my new abilities by tainting Vegeta's personality. He is now puppet and will be the aid to your destruction." Starlight declared.

"Oh, that's enough!" Rainbow snarled, driving a hoof directly into the unicorn's face, causing her to reel back in pain. "Should'a knocked that smugness of your face last time we met." she admitted, "Would'a been more satisfying honestly."

Turning her head, Starlight causally shot a beam onto Rainbow, launching her backwards. The attendants were in a frenzy over this and were scrambling, unable to do anything. Twilight huffed, "Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie... Get the others to safety, we'll distract Starlight."

"Okey dokey, Twilight!" Pinkie saluted.

Rarity gulped, "Do be careful, dearies."

Discord cracked his knuckles, "Don't worry, Fluttershy. She won't lay a finger on you or Tree Hugger. For your sake." he held off his grudge for the moment, earning a smile from the timid pegasus, who ran with her friends to help the bystanders. "Now, back to you, Miss Glimmer, I think a punishment is in order."

"You think splitting up is going to do you any good?" Starlight asked her opponents. "By the end, all of you will have suffered my wrath anyhow."

The powerful unicorn was the first to shoot, striking a beam down to where the heroes were standing. Twilight erected a forcefield which barely held the blast back. The alicorn gritted her teeth, struggling to keep the elongated beam of magic from harming her and her friends. "Grr..." she growled, stomping a hoof forward as she tried to reflect the beam directly to Starlight.

Luckily, Discord decided to step in and snapped his fingers, giving the bubble forcefield a reflective property. Starlight's own magic was aimed back at her. But Starlight created a shield of her own to absorb the force of the projectile, a smirk seen on her face once the magic shield disappeared into particles. "Well, that was quite rude." the draconequss huffed, putting his foot down.

Starlight shook her head, "You've brought in on yourselves. My world was perfect, equal, free from chaos."

Discord yawned, pointing a finger at Starlight, which shot out a small laser, surprising the unicorn, "A world free of chaos? Why would I ever want that? It sounds really boring."

Rainbow groaned, driving a hoof upon Starlight's stunned face, launching her back slightly. The unicorn faceplanted as the pegasus boasted, "He's right! That sounds really boring!" she watched as the unicorn staggered to her hooves and directed a beam upon Rainbow, causing her to be tossed around slightly, causing her to hit her side upon the tiled floor.

"Rainbow!" Twilight yelled, getting hit by a levitated chair while she focused on her friend. The chair broke apart as she growled in pain, falling on her stomach. The lavender alicorn saw Starlight stand over her.

"See, Twilight? Conflict is rather pointless, isn't it? Join my cause, and all of this can stop." the purple unicorn offered, reaching her darkened hoof to the dazed princess.

Twilight scowled, lighting up her horn again, holding Starlight still. "Never. You've reached a new low, Starlight."

Starlight frowned, "Fine. Have it your way." she closed her eyes, using her enhanced abilities to break free of the spell Twilight held her down with. "Don't bother with that weak magic anymore. I've grown more powerful than you ever thought."

Before Starlight could continue, Applejack shoved her, stopping her threats and boasts, "Bout time somepony shut her mouth." she grunted, while tying her up in a lasso temporarily. Then she started to help Twilight stand up after reaching a hoof downward, "You alright, Twi?" she asked her friend.

"Yeah... A little dazed. But I can shake it off." the alicorn assured.

Starlight held her head, her red eyes narrowing. "You will regret that!"

Discord yawned again, snapping his fingers. Suddenly, a mallet appeared in his talons. The draconequss teleported behind the unicorn and swung horizontally, tossing the mare upwards. While she was stunned in midair, Rainbow came back to the fight in time to create a small whirlwind with her speed, dizzying the powered mare. While Starlight was spinning, Twilight held her down with a magic cuff similar to what she used on Celestia and Luna.

"Now..." Twilight growled, "It's time you turned yourself in."

Starlight remained silent while she pondered her options, 'I wasn't expecting the draconequss to appear tonight.' she narrowed her eyes, 'Celestia and Luna I can handle, but his magic is an unknown variable. As much as I don't want to, I must enact Plan B and get Starswirl's scrolls for the spell. I'll catch Twilight off guard and Vegeta should have done the dirty work.'

In the blink of an eye and a white flash, Starlight suddenly vanished. And when she did, the dark bindings that trapped Celestia and Luna were released, freeing them. Celestia looked down where Starlight was once at, the girls surprised by her disappearance, while Discord drank a milkshape he materialized into existence. "Where did she go?" the Sun Princess asked.

Twilight blinked, shaking her head, "I-I have no idea! Her magic shouldn't have worked!"

Luna sighed, "Nopony is at fault, Twilight. At the very least, she retreated before any of our subjects were truly hurt. Do you know of who she is?"

"That stupid mare enslaved an entire town before we stepped in and kicked her tyrannical flank into hiding!" Rainbow explained, mashing her hooves together. "She got lucky she became a coward now!"

"I thought she would stop..." Twilight murmured, "I-I didn't think she would go this far for revenge. Or that she could have become as strong as she was."

Celestia put a reassuring hoof on her former student's shoulder, "It is alright, Twilight. Nopony could have predicted this." she looked at the destruction, the broken tables and chairs as well as chunks of debris lying about on the once clean tiled floor and the giant hole in the wall. "At the very least she retreated before any major damage could be done."

Applejack put a hoof to her chin, "Anypony see where Goku and Vegeta wound themselves at?"

Casually with a deadpan look, Discord pointed a talon to the ceiling, never stopping sipping his milkshake. Looking up, the girls saw a giant hole in the ceiling. "Huh. Guess that explains the extra rocks on the floor." Rainbow muttered in surprise.

Goku cracked his knuckles, "Alright, Vegeta. I guess we're doing this again, huh?"

The two Saiyan rivals were flying above the Gala, back in their traditional battle gear having torn off their gala suits for yet another fight. Goku scowled at Vegeta, who was still glowing a purple aura and his eyes were glowing red ominously.

Vegeta smirked, getting to his battle stance. "We shall settle this once and for all, Kakarot! I grow tired of playing second. Now, it is time I prove myself the stronger Saiyan!"

"This isn't you! I thought you moved past that!" Goku pleaded. "It's like with Babidi again!"

Vegeta snarled, "I don't care anymore! What that mare did, I feel more powerful than ever before! And now it's about time I show you this power. And now we shall end this pathetic competition!" he reared a hand to Goku, who blocked it. The two rivals backed away, Goku now wanting to fight Vegeta.

Smirking, Goku got to his stance as well. "Then bring it on!"

"Very well, Kakarot!"

"HHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA....."

Hunching down slightly, Vegeta began to scream as an electric aura began to form around his body. Goku readied himself, charing his Ki in case he was going Super Saiyan 2. But surprisingly, Vegeta kept going. Goku could feel the area shake as Vegeta's Ki and power began to rise tremendously. "What is he doing?!" Goku asked aloud, unable to even hear his own thoughts amidst the Saiyan prince's long scream.

Vegeta kept screaming, his purple aura mixing with the usual Super Saiyan aura. Goku noticed that he transformed beyond to a Super Saiyan 2, seen by the electric sparks surging from his body and hair, which spiked slightly as well. But Vegeta still screamed to power himself up. It was like years of rage condensed into a single moment.

Goku closed his eyes, seeing a bright yellow light cover Vegeta's entire body. His arms were folded in an 'X' formation as he felt the prince's massive energy surge push him back slightly. At last, the light faded and Goku opened his eyes, widening upon what he was witnessing.

Vegeta was still in the purple aura, but he could see what he did. He crossed his arms. Goku immediately noticed a huge spike in Vegeta's ki now, his eyebrows were gone and his hair was spiked down to his back, almost too lengthy. This looked familiar to Goku, as he too had this form, which he transformed into as well with ease, having experience with said form.

Vegeta had become a Super Saiyan 3.

Enemies Again?! Goku vs Vegeta: Round 2!

View Online

Vegeta smirked while folding his arms, "It may not be the power of a Super Saiyan God, but it will be enough to eliminate you." he boasted, putting his hands to his sides. His dark aura grew, covering his entire body while his eyes blinked red.

Goku frowned, pushing himself forward, "Ha!" he reared his fist back and punched Vegeta, the Saiyan prince using his elbow to block the attack with ease. "Grah!" yelled Goku, spinning his lower body to drive his foot to Vegeta's side, hitting his side. The Saiyan managed to hit Vegeta with his elbow directly to his face, making him hover back in pain.

Vegeta held his nose and wiped the blood off of it, "You got lucky, Kakarot. Now bear witness to the might of a Super Saiyan 3!"

Goku narrowed his eyes even more, ready for whatever Vegeta was going to throw at him. The Saiyan prince lunged himself towards Goku, going in for a right hook. Goku predicted the attack and stretched his palm out, holding Vegeta's fist in it. "What?" gasped Vegeta, trying to push his arm forward. He moved his other hand out, but Goku managed to grab it swiftly as well.

"You're inexperienced." Goku stated sternly.

Vegeta gritted his teeth and shouted, "Screw you!"

Screaming at the top of his lungs, Vegeta charged his Ki and watched as Goku released his fists from his grip. The Saiyans both charged their energy, intending to fight all out. Once they were ready, Goku yelled and flew towards Vegeta, seeing the new Super Saiyan 3 move his fist directly towards his stomach. Once the prince's fist collided with Goku's stomach, he coughed out. "Ah!" Vegeta smirked, satisfied that he landed a blow on his hated rival.

In response, Goku spun his body, kicking Vegeta in the back. The dark energy fueled Saiyan growled. "Damn it!" and so, he opened his palm, charging a small Ki blast meant to catch his rival offguard. Goku's eyes widened upon seeing the small glowing orb of energy in Vegeta's hand, but he was unable to react. "Ha! Eat dirt, Kakarot!" he mocked, seeing the smoke from the blast fade.

However, a blur shot out of there, a fist smacking Vegeta directly in the face. The Super Saiyan 3 backflipped in the air at the sheer force of Goku's punch. Goku continued his assault by driving his right arm downward once he dashed after the Saiyan prince. "Hah!" he screamed, punching Vegeta so hard, he landed in the garden.

Vegeta's landing created a small crater, "Curses..." he growled, picking himself up.

While Vegeta was flying up, Goku managed to transform into a Super Saiyan, blocking his rival's fist from coming towards his face. The Super Saiyan 3's jaw was surprised, "H-How? This form is supposed to be stronger!"

"I told you. You're inexperienced with the amount of Ki your harnessing and exerting in this battle." Goku revealed. "Just end this, Vegeta. I don't want to hurt you too bad." he said.

"I don't need experience to finally kill you!" Vegeta snarled, aiming a Ki blast to Goku's chest. The Super Saiyan was caught off guard and was slightly launched back, his blue shirt burnt. "This form will suffice in what I want."

Goku glared at Vegeta, the dark powered Saiyan prince readying another attack. Deciding to get an advantage, Goku used Instant Transmission, teleporting behind Vegeta. "What?" gasped Vegeta, spinning his body around to attack, but Goku held up his wrist, blocking the prince's leg with ease.

Vegeta growled and headbutted Goku, making the Saiyan reel back in pain, "Ah!" he screamed, taking a punch to the gut while stunned. The Super Saiyan 3 smirked, kicking Goku's side, throwing him aside. "V-Vegeta!"

"This power... I missed it." Vegeta whispered, curling his palms into fists in glee, "I haven't felt like this in forever! Ha!"

Goku charged forward, but as he leaped to kick, Vegeta swerved his body to the side, grabbing hold of his leg, "I told you the power of a Super Saiyan 3 was too much for you." he bragged. The Saiyan extended a palm and directed a Ki blast to Vegeta's face, covering his face in a bright light long enough to get the upper hand before his rival could react again. Goku grunted and moved his free leg so that it collided with Vegeta's cheek. "This isn't even a fair fight! What's the fun if you're not at full power?"

"Grah!" screamed the prince, his dark aura growing in power. Vegeta wiped his face, "You think that'll be enough, Kakarot? Do you not remember our first battle?"

Using Instant Transmission, Goku in front of Vegeta and tried to punch him, but the Saiyan Prince held his fist in his own palm and did it again when Goku raised his free arm, "I bested you before. It took the help of your young son and the short one in order to so much as weaken me!" he boasted, kneeing the low-class warrior, causing him to spit, "Ha! Perhaps history will repeat itself!"

Then within the blink of an eye, Goku headbutted Vegeta again and backflipped out of Vegeta's grip, his legs colliding with the Super Saiyan 3's chin in the process while he gained some distance. "Heh..." chuckled Goku, "You're starting to make this sound a little exciting! Alright, let's see if it will!" he dashed forward and and drove his fist downward towards Vegeta's face.

The force of the punch created a small wave that sent Vegeta flying downward into a forest far away from the mountain Canterlot was mounted upon, a way to allow things to escalate without worry, his body sliding on the grass, creating a trail of dirt in his wake. The corrupted Super Saiyan 3 cringed, holding his chin, "What the hell? I thought I was stronger than this! How could he bring me down like that?!" he wondered, believing his form to withstand more power than what his rival dished out. "Bah! No matter, I shall attend to him anyway!"

*FWOOSH*

"Huh--?!"

Vegeta couldn't finish questioning what happened, because Goku suddenly appeared and gave his former friend a right hook. "That's the drawback to using Super Saiyan 3. It can take quite a toll on your body when you first use it." said Goku, slapping the dark-powered Saiyan's arm aside. "Take it from me."

"But how could you use it so easily?!" Vegeta shouted, surprising Goku with a Ki blast. "I don't care about the drawbacks! I only care about finally killing you and proving to be the superior Saiyan!"

Seeing Vegeta flying towards him, Goku gritted his teeth and did the same, their fists bumping once they met in the middle, creating a force that blew across the garden. "Hah!" shouted Goku, the two of them deflecting each other's punches. Their fists and legs flying in various directions in an attempt to deal a hit in.

Then, deciding to switch things up, Goku performed a sweep kick, tripping Vegeta up in midair. In the process he charged a Ki blast and directed it towards Vegeta's face, pushing him aside and launching across the garden. The Saiyan panted, admitting that his rival was still a challenge to face after all this time. "Heh heh..." he wiped his mouth, seeing some blood on his knuckles.

"Ah! To hell with it!"

Vegeta came out of the smoke, and his knuckles jammed themselves right onto Goku's stomach. Then he followed up by driving his arms down upon his enemy's head, planting his face into the dirt. Goku pushed his body up. Once he did, he uppercutted the corrupted Saiyan Prince. Vegeta grunted and shot a purple orb at Goku, "Face it, Kakarot! I have the advantage here! No power can match with mine!" shouted the prince, ready to finish things.

However, Goku growled and grabbed Vegeta's wrist, tightening his grip on it, forcing Vegeta to release the Ki sphere to the sky away from him. The Super Saiyan 2 heard a crack sound and jabbed his rival's stomach before flipping him over his shoulder, "YAAAHHHH!" screamed Goku, throwing him as hard as he could. "Remember what Whis said? We have to work together..." he panted.

Hearing that, Vegeta tried to land a punch, but Goku blocked it with his arms, creating a small shockwave, "Work with you?! Yeah, right! You're an idiot! And yet somehow you're more powerful than me! It's the thing I hate most about you!" he declared.

"Who cares?!" Goku snapped, grabbing Vegeta's arm and spinning him around with ease, "This fight isn't getting us anywhere! You're wearing down quick! This isn't you talking! This isn't how we should be fighting!" Goku stated.

Vegeta charged forward, spiking his energy up some more the closer he got, "It doesn't matter. This is how are rivalry was meant to end, Kakarot! The day I finally come out on top!"

"Ah!" screamed Goku, getting knocked aside. The Saiyan shook his head and flew upwards before diving back down, slamming his fist directly into Vegeta's cheek, bruising it. Goku managed a smirk, "As much as I hate to admit it... I'm actually having fun!" he laughed, "You're puttin' up quite a fight."

Vegeta turned his head and scowled, his dark aura growing, "Well, believe it, Kakarot!" he decked Goku in the chest, following up with a Ki blast that launched him upwards. "Ha ha!"

Goku growled and then began to fly upwards, holding his chest in exhaustion, "But this isn't how it should've been. He's a puppet and not actually using his full potential. But he's still strong... I gotta give it all I got to wear him down and get Vegeta back in his right mind..." he curled his arms to his sides, cupping his palms together as he tried to draw as much energy as he could. A blue sphere of energy began to form, glowing within his hands.

"KA-ME--"

Sensing the spike of energy coming from above, Vegeta scowled, "Oh no you don't!" the prince then did his own pose, charging a purple beam of his own.

"GALICK!"

"HA-ME--"

"GUN!"

"--HA!"

Goku and Vegeta screamed and held their arms out right in front of them, beams of blue and purple shooting out of their palms, meeting in the middle, the two colliding at once and remaining at a standstill. Goku scowled, trying his best to exert as much power as he could. Vegeta noticed this and forced out more energy into his beam, purple overtaking blue. The area around them trembled, white lights flashed,, and a loud noise resonated as the Saiyans dueled.

Goku hissed, "Grr..."

Vegeta smirked, realizing he was getting the upper hand. Goku's Kamehameha was pushing down, but it wasn't much and the beam of the Galick Gun was winning in their beam struggle. "Now, Kakarot! Prepare yourself for oblivion!"

"Ngh... Damn it!" screamed Goku through gritted teeth, "I-It's not enough! I've got to take it further!"

"HHAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!"

With the scream that echoed into the heavens, the ground below trembled, wind blew harder than ever, and a yellow aura with sparks surrounded Goku, darkening even the night sky, "W-What?!" Vegeta spat, his purple glowing eyes narrowing at the surge of energy Goku was suddenly bringing.

His screams continued long, the beam struggle remaining at a draw for as long as Goku gained power. Finally, after a few moments, he had done what he hoped to achieve. Goku's spiky yellow hair went down behind his back.

He too was a Super Saiyan 3. And it was the power necessary to end this fight.

"HERE IT GOES!" screamed Goku, letting all of his energy into the Kamehameha, blue overtaking purple. Vegeta's surprised face was blocked out by the brightness of the Kamehameha.

"What--?!"

"AARRRGHH!" Vegeta's pained screams were muffled by the beam meeting him, covering the ground in a bright explosion.

"Whoa! What the hay is that?!" Rainbow Dash asked in surprise, noticing something in the distance that looked to be a solar flare. "Seriously, what's been goin' on this whole time? The ground shook and everything!" she wondered.

Celestia and Luna's jaws were agape, "That must be Goku and Vegeta fighting. Their power is far greater than we gave them credit for." the Sun Princess revealed.

Twilight blinked in surprise and held her head, "Y-You mean this whole time before now... They were holding back?"

Celestia nodded, "It appears that way, my former student. For mortals, they hold amazing potential, just like Whis said. Unlike anything we in Equestria have ever witnessed."

"It is bizarre how these two have become allies to the God of Destruction and are considered worthy to train. Beerus isn't usually like that with most mortals." Luna pointed out.

"But perhaps I can see it." Discord observed, "The power they wield. It would make for some good destruction... and chaos." he laughed to himself.

Vegeta laid on the ground in a small crater. Broken, bloody, beaten. The purple aura faded from his body, as did his Super Saiyan 3 transformation, and he reverted back to his normal state. He coughed, letting an eye open upon hearing something tap the ground from what he assumed to be flight.

"K-Kakarot..." he coughed, "What the hell happened?"

Goku knelt down, reverting back to his normal state as well, "That unicorn who showed up, Starlight Glimmer, put you under her control somehow. We fought. It was pretty cool I had to admit, what with you becoming a Super Saiyan 3."

Managing a smile, Vegeta said, "So I did hm... Pretty soon, I'll make her pay for using me as some unwilling pawn..." he slowly raised an arm and clenched a fist to declare this.

Goku helped his rival up, hearing some cracks coming from his body as he stood, making him cringe, "I'll see if we can get some Senzu beans for you and for emergencies later on somehow. Trust me, we need them to get back to training as soon as possible!" he laughed.

"Idiot... I hate having to depend on you healing me..." mumbled Vegeta, allowing Goku to fly them back to the castle.

Recovery from Battle! What Next?

Goku finally landed in the castle and dropped Vegeta's body down before dropping to a knee himself, "Heh heh. Sorry about all the damage guys." he apologized sheepishly. "Woo, man. That was a bigger battle than I thought... Where's that unicorn?"

"She got away. Are you two alright?" Twilight asked.

Vegeta growled as he sat up from lying down, "Do I look alright to you, mare? Bring us some Senzu beans now! I wish to be back at my physical peak!"

"A senzu wha-huh?" Applejack asked.

"Geisundeit!" Pinkie said, thinking they sneezed.

"Senzu beans, they can heal our bodies almost instantly..." Goku began to say, "...You mean none of you have anything like that here? Nothing at all?"

Luna shook her head, "We apologize, Goku. But we have never heard of this before."

Goku sighed, "Oh alright... Is anyone able to contact Whis?"

"I shall do so. Luckily, I brought the communication staff with me, so all it'll take is a single call." Celestia stated, warping the staff into existence right in front of her. She used her magic to activate it, hoping to get a response from their friend.

"That's so cool! So you know Goku and Vegeta's friends?" Rainbow Dash wondered aloud.

The Princess of the Sun smiled at the pegasus' enthusiasm, "I have only spoken to Beerus and Whis, Rainbow Dash. Goku and Vegeta are the first mortal beings from another planet I have encountered. But I have heard stories from him of their recent encounters."

The staff's orb began to glow, and in it revealed Whis, who smiled and gave a friendly wave, 'Why, hello there, Princess Celestia! Is this a friendly call to catch up already?'

"Whoa! You can speak to him in there?" Pinkie wondered, popping over Celestia's shoulder.

Whis laughed, 'I assume this is one of the Element bearers you have told me about, hm?'

Luna exhaled, "I do wish it was a friendly call. But we request something. It's Goku and Vegeta..."

'Those two are already bothering you, I see... I'm sure--'

"Hey!" Vegeta cut him off, "We did none of the sort!"

Luna continued, "No, they were actually on their best behavior. It's another matter... One of Equestrian origins. I'm sure Princess Twilight can elaborate as she and her friends have dealt with her before tonight's unexpected encounter."

Gulping, Twilight awkwardly walked in front of the Canterlot Royalty, "M-Me?" she cleared her throat, "Anyway, there's this pony, Starlight Glimmer... She wanted to bring equality and rule Equestria... We stopped her but she got away... Tonight, she came back. Stronger than when we last saw her, even more than Discord. None of us are sure how she got this powerful..."

Whis nodded, 'I understand... How does this relate to Goku and Vegeta though?'

Celestia narrowed her eyes, "She put Vegeta under her control. Goku had to fight him to bring him back to his senses. The two are weakened after their duel. They mentioned Senzu beans, and wished to have some to be back at their physical peak."

'Ah,' the angel corrected his earlier assumption, 'Very well, I shall bring the two back here to recover until all this clears up.'

"No way, Whis!" Goku shouted, "I'm actually startin' to get used to this world! And that pony could put up a good fight when we meet again!" he elaborated. "This could be fun!"

Rarity blinked and tapped her chin, "Why... That's quite a jump of reasoning."

Vegeta said, "As much as I hate to admit it... I'm with Kakarot on staying here. That mare made me her puppet, and I'd be damned to let that one slide. I'll give that unicorn a piece of my mind when we cross paths again. Just know I will not partake in any lessons of magic and friendship or some other junk!"

Discord folded his arms, "Did not see that coming honestly. Perhaps I could be of use here."

'The Spirit of Chaos himself.' Whis commented, 'How are you faring as a member of Equestrian society now, Discord?'

"Quite well, old friend," the draconequss responded, "But that is not important. See, now that I have some form of connection to your land thanks to this staff. My chaotic magic can conjure this up." he snapped his fingers, a small bag appearing in midair, "I am quite aware of Goku and Vegeta's world already. I have been watching a shortened and funnier interpretation of their past adventures while I was trapped in stone through the astral realm."

"You did what?" Rainbow asked.

Twilight rubbed her head, "It's better if you don't ask. Trust me, I've seen it firsthoof." she commented, trying to change the subject.

Whis replied, 'I didn't think you cared about Goku and Vegeta's antics, Discord. Not even Lord Beerus did before wanting to learn about the Super Saiyan God.'

Discord smirked and levitated the bag over to the Saiyans slowly, "Well, these two make great catalysts for chaos. How can I refuse such a thing coming to Equestria?"

Opening the bag, Goku opened his palm and held out two beans, "Here you go, Vegeta!" he said while handing one over to Vegeta, who chewed on it and swallowed. Same as Goku. The Saiyan Prince coughed and managed to sit up, "Feeling better already?"

"Of course I am." Vegeta stated simply, "Using the power of Super Saiyan 3 merely drained my stamina faster than I'd like to admit."

'Super Saiyan 3? You, Vegeta?' Whis asked, 'Quite a surprise. It will take time for you to master it. Perhaps you will reach Super Saiyan God soon enough.'

The prince smirked proudly, "It will not be a challenge for me."

Goku laughed, "Yep! Now we have to train harder than ever if you want to master Super Saiyan 3!"

"S-Super Saiyan 3?" Rarity gulped, "A-As in above your Super Saiyan forms you showed us?"

"Uh huh!" Goku answered casually.

The fashionista muttered, "Oh dear..."

"You guys are full of surprises." Spike commented. "You seriously have to teach us some of those moves for when stuff like this happens again." he suggested.

Vegeta shook his head, "Unfortunately, what we do can only be handled by the greatest of warriors. It would take years if you wish to be as powerful as us. Even without the obvious correlation that you are all not Saiyans."

"Try me!" Rainbow boasted, "I think I can handle your training."

Goku rubbed his head, "I dunno. As much as I would like more competition, we barely know how you can hande our style. It's pretty challenging!" he then slammed his knuckles into his palm, "But that's what makes it so fun. I'm not sure what you ponies can even do honestly!" he pointed out.

"Um... C-Can we not try, Rainbow." Fluttershy said, "I don't think I'm ready for fighting..."

"I'm not saying all of us have to. But at least let me have a crack at it!" Rainbow shouted.

Celestia tapped her chin, "I am with Goku and Vegeta, Rainbow Dash. Give it some thought."

"Come on! I'm totally ready to become as strong as you guys!"

"Let her."

The gruff voice got everypony's attention. Even Goku turned his head when he heard those words come out of the prince's mouth. Vegeta looked as stoic as ever, arms folded and eyes closed, "She wishes to endure our lifestyle. And our way of combat." he opened his eyelids, "Then she should see. She will know how challenging it truly is. To know the costs of reaching such power."

Whis blinked. Hard. And then smiled, 'My my. I did not expect Vegeta to get so touchy. This seems to be a matter best left to you. Let me know if I should come.' and with that, Whis ended the call.

Rainbow glared at Vegeta, "Bring it on! I think I can reach your strength in no time!"

"Rainbow, what are you thinking?" Twilight wondered through gritted teeth. "This is too much to deal with! Now's not the time for show-boating!" she added.

Vegeta replied, him and Rainbow ignoring the alicorn's words, "If you so wish. When we return to Ponyville, your training with Kakarot and myself will start the day after."

Applejack put a hoof to her forehead, "This is gonna go wrong..."

Discord laughed, "I'll bring the popcorn."

Starlight dropped in the middle of a forest. "So much for that plan..." she mumbled to herself. She kicked a rock, "Stupid Twilight and her friends. What I would give to get rid of them." she trotted forward, her destination unknown. Anything to get away from her enemies. Especially the Saiyans at this point.

Then, teleporting next to her was Towa, "Well well, quite a surprise if I say so myself. Guess that didn't go according to plan."

"No. It didn't."

The Time-Breaker nodded and waved her staff, the dark energy around the unicorn fading, "There. Now your aura is supressed. Son Goku and Vegeta can no longer track you now." she smirked, "Perhaps there's another way to get rid of the Equestrians you so despise..."

Starlight narrowed her eyes, "And what would that be?"

Towa said, "A way to defy time. To defy destiny itself. My power is weak as of now, but I can guide you to fulfilling that goal, and I too can grow stronger to assist you."

"...I'm listening." Starlight instantly agreed, wanting the destruction of her hated foes and the Saiyans.
