If you are to understand this story then this one fact must be made very clear to you, now then, are you good and ready to go? Yes? Very good then. Anyhow Discord was dead and so was Fluttershy and the main six too as well. But none of their deaths, including his, were very silent to the pony population. After he died there were many who came to his funeral, some out of respect, some out of pure curiosity if he was actually really dead. But there was only one in the crowd who was not only there out of respect, but out of love too as well. Celestia stood very silent looking down on the body of her very good dear old friend. “I am sorry that you felt that you needed to die with Fluttershy,” she said very softly to herself now then, “I don’t know if you can hear me for wherever you are or might be, but if you can than know that I always have loved you.” “Come now, there’s no need to cry over him, you have me now.” Celestia turned very quickly to see where the voice had come from and who it was, and to her great surprise the being was a draconequis. “No, this is impossible. You can’t be real, your kind died out.” “And that’s exactly what we wanted you to think, in reality we’ve just been hiding really good, and we would have come a lot sooner if we had known that we had a fellow brother here, but it was only until very recently that we heard news of him, but by the time that we got here it was already too late for him. “Well then can you please tell me why you are here now exactly and who you are too?” Celestia said staring at the creature with great intensity now then. “Certainly, my name is Eris, the mother of Discord, and when I heard what you did to him and what he did to this land I wasn’t very happy while I was here. Anyhow I’m just here to let you know that we can offer a replacement for Discord if you want to, but that is dependent upon your readiness and willingness of course, but should you ever need or wish to talk with use we are always here for you, I personally look forward to making peace with these lands, so good day, I wish that I could stay but funerals have never been our style that much ever really, but then again, we don’t ever die unless we want or wish to exactly.” And with that said Eris smiled and bowed very deeply before vanishing. “Well, that was very weird and odd and strange,” she said to herself now then, but then suddenly Eris decided to pop back in again to see her now then. “Oh, I forgot, one more thing, I just wanted to say that I am very glad that he could make a friend before he died, and that’s because he never had one before even in our land, having one meant the whole entire world for him back then, and I’m just very glad that he finally got the chance and opportunity to have one before he died, so thank you for giving him that my dear good princess.” And then with that said she disappeared, and this time for good. “Well then, it seems if you just waited you would have found your real true family, but then again, I guess that you already did with your friends, and that’s why you didn’t bother with any of you silly little stupid tricks, you didn’t try to lie or hide yourself anymore, you opened up your heart and decided to show your real true feeling, and that’s why I think you decided to go quietly. You didn’t bother with dramatic flair or jokes because you knew how serious the situation was and really would be, and for once in your whole entire life you were really truly open and honest, and for that I applaud your bravery that you decided to show, I just wish that you were here with me right now.” And with that said she took a very deep heavy sigh. She didn’t know why she loved Discord, but perhaps maybe it had to do with the fact that they were once friends when they were very young. And the hardest thing that she ever had to do other than banish her sister was to imprison Discord in that cold cruel stone statue, and what was worse was when she learned that Discord could think from within his prison. He wasn’t in a deep state of sleep or unawareness as she had previously thought, and when she learned this new fact she had been completely devastated. She could just imagine what thoughts of hate and anger and other various random ideas went through his head, or at least she tried to, he was the spirit of chaos after all and knowing what he was thinking exactly would be impossible. Yet she knew that whatever he thought, whatever his ideas were, he must have been very lonely and bored in that prison, and she just wished that she could undo that action and fix all of her mistakes, but she knew that you could not ever change the past no matter what you tried to do or how hard you did it. And that is why she was sad now, because she had lost a very good dear old close friend of hers and she never even got the chance or opportunity to say goodbye just like his family, but at least one pony did have that before he died. And that pony was Fluttershy, his newest friend, and she knew that in the end he must have died happily so long as he remembered her and all the good times that they had shared together, and with that thought she slowly smiled.
