> In the Dark of the Night > by IpreferpI > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Dabbling in Diabolical Desires > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- In her tower, the Princess of the night paced. The events she had witnessed left no doubt in her mind that there was indeed a solution to her problem. Glancing at her mirror again, frozen with the image of her sister and the colt Dusk Shine, she tried to clear her thoughts. Instead, only the terrible buzzing lurked around the edges of her mind. Must we pay for our sins forever? she mused, before opening the door to her balcony and stepping out into the cool night air. Above her, the stars wheeled in a dance to music only she could hear. The moon, once adorned with the face of the Mare in the Moon, now hung quietly over the mountains far to the west of Canterlot. Below, the city was quiet. A metropolis the capitol of Equestria never truly slept in this day and age. Once again, she marveled at how foolish she had been. Only a few more decades, a few more centuries, and she would have had her dream: ponies enjoying her lovely nights. Even now, her sharp ears could pick up the distant wub-wub of the nightclub owned by that curious mare, Vinyl Scratch. Though the cool air provided a moment of peace, soon enough the oppressive weight of her geas pushed down. For a few more moments, she fought it. She was a noble, an Alicorn of the most ancient blood, born of the First Ones penned into creation by long-forgotten gods. However, she was also a mare with needs, needs that she was now well aware a certain young colt could satisfy... if he was strong enough. But how shall we get to him? His only interests are the study of Magic and Friendship... she thought, before inspiration struck her like a hammer. Her lips curling up into a smile, she finally began to execute her half-baked plan. Picking up her quill, a primary feather from a long-defeated Gryphon Warlord, she dipped it into the ink well and began to write. Her letter was not long. "Let us see if we remember the Dragonfire Sending spell..." she said to the empty walls, before concentrating. With a burst of green fire, the parchment vanished on its way. Dusk Shine, the brother of one of the most gifted warriors in the land; son of one of the best writers; and most faithful student of one of the Diarchs of Equestria groaned and face-desked. "Spike... where is our copy of 'A Brief History of Everything, Unabridged' volumes one through seventeen? I don't need the others. I don't think I can figure out how to help the Mayor with the zoning law if I can't remember the history of Ponyville. Maybe we should go talk to Applejack and Granny Smith? They've been living in Ponyville forever, right?" Spike nodded, tossing another gem into his maw. The ever-hungry dragon looked over at the desk stacked high with books, parchment, quills, books, inkwells, and even more books. "I think so... but haven't you been at this long enough? Celestia told you to take a break!" Dusk glared at him. "I am taking a break... from my studies. Mayor Mare asked me to look over the new zoning laws, remember? Besides, if I don't figure all of this out in the next two hours, I'll just call it- Spike?" Spike had stopped listening, instead concentrating on not spitting out a mouthful of razor-sharp sapphire shards as he felt the familiar upwelling of energy that heralded an incoming message. Finally, with a belch to make any grade-schooler giggle, a jet of green flame coalesced into a scroll. Instantly noteable, however, was the seal of the Night Court, rather than Celestia's signet. Snatching it from the air with the ease of years of practice, he slit the seal before unrolling the scroll. To Thee Dusk Shine, Since our return from exile, we have looked upon you and observed your studies in Friendship and Harmony. Though mine sister has spent many hours extolling your intelligence, sensitivity, and dedication, We realize that We have yet to truly spend any time together since last Nightmare Night (For which We thank thee dearly for helping us bond with Our subjects). Nearly a year ago thou saved Us from Our own dark past and cleansed Our form of the dark taint upon us. Now that We have 'settled in', as mine sister is fond of saying, We believe that it is overdue for us to meet. As mine sister has given thou leave from thy studies, We do hereby extend thee an invitation to thee to visit Our chambers in Canterlot Palace. Mine sister informed Us that We may require some method or motivation to entice thee to come to Canterlot. Thus, We would be honored to tutor thee in several arts that Our sister lacks any ability to practice. If, as the ponies say today, the forbidden fruit is the sweetest, then perhaps this knowledge may tempt thee? The debt that We owe to Thee cannot be easily repaid, but We wish to be allowed to try. Princess Luna Dusk read and re-read the letter several times, before turning it over to see if anything was on the other side. It was... rather short. Though he had only ever met Princess Luna in passing, she seemed both distant and formal. Her legendary cool attitude towards both her servants and her detractors had merited her the moniker "Ice Queen" behind her back. His cheeks tinged a light red as he recalled another rumor: that it was due to being 'pent up' from one thousand years on the moon. Still... the rumors he remembered best were from history. Supposedly, she was the first being on her level of power to consort with Demons from Tartarus. Supposedly, she had created the magic now used in summoning rituals... and that she, as Nightmare Moon, had called forth legions from the underworld to do her bidding in the Lunar Rebellion. This was an area of magic he had never explored... for good reason. Being banished to the moon would be pleasant compared to the fate in store for those caught dabbling in Necromancy and Diabolism. "Spike, it looks like Princess Luna wants to see me in Canterlot. Maybe while I am there I can pick up a copy of "Residential Regulations" from the Royal Archives. Would you be okay on your own for a couple of days?" Spike nodded, a bit too quickly. "Of course! You can count on me. After all, I AM your Number One Assistant, right?" Dusk rolled his eyes. "Yes Spike. You are my Number One Assistant. I don't suppose your eagerness to have Discord, Big Mac, and Rumble over for Ogres and Oubliettes has anything to do with it?" Spike gave a deadpan look. "I can neither confirm nor deny the existance of an Ogres and Oublietts group." Dusk Shine groaned and facepalmed. "I swear, this bucking town." After FINALLY getting a decent night's sleep, with surprisingly pleasant dreams, Dusk Shine spent a quick morning packing a light travel bag before getting a train ticket to Canterlot. Though the ride was short, on this day the car happened to be packed with a large number of ponies heading to Manehatten, and most of them had the "Manehatten Attitude", right down to the absolute lack of manners. For a Unicorn who preferred solitude, Dusk Shine was uncomfortably cramped into a corner seat next to a large Minotaur who seemed unaware of his musk emanating over poor Dusk, causing him to wrinkle his nose. Once there, however, he finally got a chance to breath the air of Canterlot, Crown Jewel of Equestria and the most prosperous city on Equiis. A short cab ride later, and he found himself at the gates to the palace. Surprisingly, it was not Gleaming Shield on duty today, but some lunar pegasus named Nightstep. As it was still daylight, the poor batpony was struggling to stay awake behind his desk, eyes drooping and ears folded back against his head. Not wishing to bother the guard, Dusk waved his Royal Warrant and trotted by, nodding as the guard saluted sluggishly and resumed his post. Dusk made a mental note to mention it to his sister next time they met... though the thought of her, as always now, brought a tinge of pink to his cheeks. Finally, he stood outside the chambers of the Princess of the Night. To his surprise, the guard at the door ushered him in immediately, only for Dusk to find that the room was empty of Alicorn. Not even glancing back as the door behind him closed, Dusk instead focused his gaze upon the desk, upon which there was a single book, bound with a chain, and with a small card bearing his name upon it. Walking over hesitantly, Dusk eyed the strange tome. The chain wrapped around the book glowed with a magical aura while the book itself gave off an ominous red hue. On the card was a short note: Dusk Shine- We have been summoned to assist at Day Court for a few hours. We shall return shortly. Please, make thyself comfortable in Our quarters. This book is for thee, and contains a spell not for the faint of heart. -Best Princess Setting the note aside, Dusk Shine looked instead at the book. The enchantment on the chain was a simple seal, meant more to alert someone that it has been tampered with than to stop said tampering. Wrapping it in his magenta field, he gave a short incantation. The magic on the chain was not even close to a mach for his, and he smiled as it simply crumbled to dust. What happened next was difficult to recall, yet impossible to forget. The book screamed. With a shriek that would have been more at home in the mouth of a small filly, he stumbled backwards while an unholy wail filled the room. In a mad panic, he scrambled backwards until his head hit something hard, and his horn spat a few sparks in response before his groping hands clutched the edge of the bed. Pulling himself up as his heart pounded, he peered at the accursed book again. The screaming began to fade to silence, and after only a few moments the only sound in the room was his heavy breathing... and two girlish giggles. Slowly turning around, still tense, Dusk Shine saw a glamour fade, revealing Princess Luna and Gleaming Shield grinning at him. "Thy sister was correct, young Shine. The look on thine face was indeed without price!" "Priceless, princess. Priceless is how you say it" chided Gleaming Shield, stepping forward. "I'd love to stay and enjoy your humiliation a bit longer, little brother, but I have to go rescue poor Nightstep from daylight. Toodles!" Dusk sputtered as she clapped him on the shoulder and kissed his cheek on her way by before leaving. Princess Luna, however, simply waved her hand, causing the book to vanish. It was a few moments before Dusk found his tongue again. "P-p-princess... W-why?" She tilted her head, looking quizzically at him. "Was it not thine cohort, Pinkamena Pie, who claimed that it was fun to be scared? And do not thy compatriots Rainbow Dash and Pimkamena both 'prank' and engage in practical jokes? Was this not appropriate?" Finally, his heart subsided a bit. "I... I never expected it from you." Her smile was now from ear to ear. "Nopony ever does. We apologize if Our prank was in poor taste... but we hope it works as well on Our Sister." After a moment, her smile subsided a bit until she stepped forward, looming over Dusk by a full six inches. "We are... pleased that thou came so soon. Thy sister predicted you would, but we... have been let down before. But first, a debt must be settled." Dusk started to speak to deny that thanks were needed, but before he could, he found himself folded in a tight hug. To his chagrin, his face was pulled directly into her bust as her wings wrapped around him. "We can sense thy hesitation. The deed thou performed... thou could have smote Our ruin in the old Everfree Castle, or even simply banished or sealed Us. Instead... thou cleansed Us. Thou saved Us. Because of you, Nightmare Moon shall never again attempt to rule." It was nearly ten seconds before she pulled away, setting her hands on his shoulders. "I think it is time to explain a few things, however. You have faced many threats so far, but you will soon face a much greater test. Mine sister has forbidden Us from speaking of it further. For now... We hope to be able to help you. Perhaps though," she said, wrinkling her muzzle, "Thou should avail thyself of the water closet?" Dusk's face reddened as he remembered that he currently smelled like a train, and a Minotaur's armpit. Nodding, he stepped back a pace before setting his bag down on the end of the bed. "I thought I might be spending a couple of nights here at the castle?" Luna nodded. "Indeed. Thou shalt be our guest for the next two nights or so. Demonology is not an easy thing to get into or understand. Now go, and refresh thyself. We shall prepare for this evening's tasks. Night Court is out of session until Winter, and We... I... look forward to spending time with thou." > Why do we Fall? > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Long ago, in a time from whence we have very little save for hearsay and speculation, it is said that the forces of Chaos and Disharmony coalesced from all the beings imprisoned Tartarus. As all of the evils were locked away by the great heroes of ages long lost, they began to focus their hatred, their desperation, upon a young and fresh world unprepared for a united evil. First came the Imps. Lowly and weak, yet possessing deep cunning and shrewd patience, they urged young unicorn mages to push the boundaries of accepted magic. Called upon by Scholars for their strange knowledge of magic, they began to corrupt others. In time, a mage by the name of Moonlight Shadow, fearing his death, agreed to work with several imps to transform himself into the first Demon. Crystalizing his soul into a small gem, he gained eternal life at the cost of his ability to connect to his fellow pony. Though not initially evil, his seperation and the fear he caused in others drove him insane, until Eris assisted in banishing him to Tartarus forever. It was at this point that history becomes a bit more clear, despite even fewer written accounts of what happened next. It is generally agreed by scholars that Moonlight Shadow, now known as Infernal Desires, began to work in secret from the depths of the abyss. Solidifying his control of the Imps, he began to gather more power and send his servants out to recruit other young mages to his side. One by one, hundreds began to be corrupted, leading to the first-ever war. Unprepared, forces from Tartarus overran much of Equestria, stopped only by Eris, the goddess of disharmony, until she too was corrupted. It was at this time that two young sisters, Solar Sign and Lunar Light, were called into being by the collective desires of hundreds of thousands of ponies, who cried out for a savior. Manifesting from the Sun and Moon, they used their powers to push the infernal horde back. This time, they sealed the gates and set Cerberus, the Guardian, to hold them fast. However, several hundred years ago, the younger sister (Now known as Princess Luna) began to experience deep depression and guilt stemming from her anger at being seen as 'lower' or 'lesser' than her sister. While once again the details are scarce, it is well known that Princess Luna contacted Infernal Desires in an attempt to increase her power with forbidden magic, in an attempt to ensure that the respect she deserved would finally come to her. However, such power comes with a price. In exchange for power and triumph, she invited Infernal Desires into her heart and soul. Thus, Nightmare Moon was born. This, unfortunately, lead to her descent into madness. Two hundred ponies died as a result of her ritual, and many more in the War of Two Lights that ended with Celestia, unable to defeat her sister, instead banishing Nightmare Moon for nigh on a millenia. It is expected that many of these facts will be unconfirmed until such time as Princess Luna is redeemed and returned to Canterlot. From Magiks most Foul, 1st Edition Archive Keeper, Royal Archivist 689 ABL (After Banishment of Luna) Dusk Shine sighed, closing the book and moving the candle to the side. After two days and nights, he had read all six of the books Princess Luna had given to him, and he felt no closer to truly understanding this branch of magic than he was when he started. Despite massive volumes of text, most of it seemed to state different versions of 'we do not know much', treating Rumor and Hearsay as facts. In over two thousand years, there was very little on the subject, and for good reason. With Luna's return from raising the moon, however, he had a good chance to ask. Luna entered the Nocturnal Study, moving gracefully to stand behind Dusk Shine and resting her hands on his shoulders. Feeling how tense they seemed under her hands, she began to rub and massage gently. Whatever Dusk had been about to ask melted away as he slumped into the chair, relaxing for a moment. "Praythee tell, young Dusk, art thou not enjoying thy studies? Thy shoulders are most tense." Dusk sighed again, heavier this time. "It's just... all of these books tell me nothing about demonology! Princess Luna... I thought YOU were going to teach me? If Archive Keeper is to be believed, you are the foremost living expert." The rubbing on his shoulders stopped, and after a moment Dusk swiveled his neck around to peer at her. Afraid he had upset her, he was glad to see her simply looking pensive. He was about to speak when she opened her mouth again. "Indeed, we are. Dusk, we have a confession to make." Dusk stood slowly, stretching, before facing her. Something in her manner seemed off... she seemed nervous, self-conscious and afraid, as if she had to spend many moments chewing on each word before spitting it out. "Dusk, for many years Our sister has educated you in magic. She has done this for many pupils over the last thousand years. Each one did great things, and each one better than the last. However, we... I mean, I fear something worse is coming than we have seen in a milennia. Things we... I put in motion. Plans that... Nightmare Moon came up with. Dusk... you must be taught about demons. We fear that a great evil may appear soon... one we faced long ago, but against whom mine sister and I have no defense. My sister also gave me some much needed council, and we apologize for... well, for this..." Dusk stood there, waiting for her to finish, before simply watching her stand there and fidget. Just when the silence grew awkward, she leaned forward and planted a light kiss on his lips. Over in less than a second, it was hardly the most... intense kiss he had had. Luna stood back, looking uncertain. "Princess... W-what was that for?" he asked, feeling a bit confused. Sure, this was not his first time... that was a totally different story. Princess Luna was the least-eligible princess on the planet... and she had just kissed him. "Dusk... We apologize. Please sit down" Princess Luna started, before taking his arm and guiding him to sit next to her on the bed. "Demons exist, not as an extention of Chaos... but as its counterpart. Demons appeared, not because of anger and hatred, but because of a desire to impose supreme order. Most of those books are just... speculation, and guesses. I... learned that first hand. Dusk, demons and devils are bound by Faustian Contracts, which bind services for a period of time before payment must be made. In many cases, it is a simple matter of selling your soul or your cutie mark in exchange for supernatural powers. At the end, though, many regret the trade. However... I made a different choice." There was something glistening in her eyes as she looked down, taking Dusk's hands and holding on much tighter than was needed. "What... what did you choose? What did you pay?" Luna steeled herself again, and looked up. "You performed a service for me. You allowed me to... regain control." Her voice regained its harder edge as she fell back upon her old habits. "We have a debt unpaid. Demons cannot have debts. Dusk, One Thousand and Two years ago, we made a pact with Infernal Desires, who sought to leave Tartarus. In exchange for the powers of Nighmares and the dark magic needed to call upon Wraiths, Wendigos, Shades, and other monsters of the deeper night. To do so, we... fused. Part of his broken soul took over Our body, and... we could only watch as Nightmare Moon did everything we ever wanted, but destroyed everything we loved. The, for one thousand years, we slumbered and plotted revenge in our sleep. Then you saved us, Dusk. You have created a bond that cannot be easily broken... and this bond is driving Us to madness. We MUST repay our debt to you. Dusk, there is a service we would perform for you. As you have given of yourself for Us, so we would give of Ourself to You." Dusk's mind reeled. This was... alot more than he was expecting. "Princess, I'm n-not sure this would be ap-propriate... I'm happy to have aided you but you don't have to repay me. Princess Celestia asked me to aid her, and I was honored to repay her for teaching me all these years." At the mention of Celestia, Luna's face darkened as her eyebrows met. "Our entire life, we have been told that our sister is the one to whom one must speak. We are... the extra diarch. We asked you here, Dusk Shine, for one simple reason. We wish to repay a debt to you, not to be a debt that you repaid to somepony else!" Her sudden anger caught Dusk by surprise, and he nearly shifted back away from her. Instead, a small spark lit behind his eyes, just like the one from that fateful night when they discovered the Elements. "Princess? What's wrong?" For two long seconds, she was silent save for her sharp intake of breath. Then, her shoulders slumping, she spoke. When she did, her voice began to hitch as she struggled to bring up words long repressed. "Who do you think is older, Dusk? Light came FROM dark. We let it happen. We are... bound to an ageless power. We have seen and existed for everything, even before the Light shone through the clouds of the past. We have been... well, we have been. Mine sister and I took mortal form only a few millenia again, and someday, we shall revert to our etherial forms again. But It is... Dusk, my Night has existed before the first Stars were born. We were alone for so long... I was alone for so long. Finally, the forces that brought us into being created mine Sister and let Light shine through the dark. Yet, despite all of the suffering I went through... ponies loved her instead of me. They feared and shunned Our Nights. She is the Younger, yet all of our birthrights fell to her. Love, loyalty, compassion, empathy... these things, she was given so freely. Yet OUR domain is to hold back the terrors of the night." By now, tears were falling in a steady pattern from her eyes. The dark mascara under her eyes began to run as she tried to avoid shuddering, yet her trembling was easy for Dusk Shine to see. If she wasn't one of the most powerful beings on the planet, I might call it simple 'sibling rivalry', but this seems to go back much more than that. What would that be like, to be eternal? To remember everthing? Dusk counted himself lucky that he would never be cursed with that much power OR responsibility. Let ruling stay with the Princesses. Still, he was the leading expert on Harmony magic and the magic of Friendship. Somepony had to do SOMETHING for Princess Luna. For once in his meek, submissive life, Dusk decided to take the lead. Putting out a hand on her shoulder, he put the other on her chin and lifted her head. Even sitting down, she was a full four inches taller than him, and he had to reach up very slightly to make contact. Blinking, her eyes reflected the early twilight moonlight from the moon-window roof. Glistening, her eyes met his as his heart pounded. "Princess Luna... I'm not afraid of the night. Here... look at this!" he said, before concentrating. 0113 hours, Twilight Velvet's Study Twilight Velvet hummed to herself. It had been nice seeing Dusk yesterday, and it had given her the most marvelous idea: Make a scrapbook! She sighed as she looked at a picture of her young colt, eagerly holding his brand-new Nightwatcher-3000 Telescope with ManaMoter Alighnment. He had been so happy- "Oh BUCK" she swore, as the picture glowed and vanished. "I'm sure Mom won't mind if I borrow this" said Dusk, as he summoned an old photograph. In it, a young purple unicorn colt with vivid violet hair proudly clutching his new telescope, able to see even a couple of planets. It had cost his father two months of pay, but they had bought him the most powerful personal reflector-type backyard telescope available... before it even hit shelves. They were all standing inside of his bedroom, which was festooned with stars, galaxies, and planets all hanging from the ceiling in an exact copy of the night sky from their balcony. "I spent a year studying and copying the night sky in my bedroom... it even had a spell on it to make it change, the-" "Orrery Spell... to track things in the skies... We invented it..." interrupted Luna, looking at the photo. "This is th- er, you? As a colt?" "Yes. There I am, with Twilight Velvet and Gleaming Shield. Dad was... away at that time. I've always loved the stars. I guess my name really does fit?" he said, tilting his head, trying to elicit some sign of humor from the despondent princess. "Thy work was most impressive... but why dost thou show this to Us?" asked the princess of the night, taking it from Dusk and looking at it. "We are aware that some few enjoy the night to the day, but this is no longer the issue that troubles us most. Young Dusk... we agree that thou were most cute in this picture but-" she said, before the last thing she had been expecting to happen did so. Upon looking back up, her face was filled with Dusk's far lighter shaded one as he leaned in closely, looking into her eyes. They really are just like stars... Celestia, please forgive me... I just want to make her happy thought Dusk to himself, as he took the plunge. Luna's eyes widened as she felt a soft pair of lips press into her own, the hand on her shoulder moving behind her back as the young colt before her suddenly pressed himself far closer than would be considered appropriate, though he had long given up believing in social conventions. Heart racing, she felt a moment of blind panic urging her to pull away, to banish this young foal, and to get on with being haughty and formal. This was all overshadowed by the fact that she could now get rid of the torment plaguing her since her return, and the fact that she had not been with stallion or mare in over a thousand years. There was an ache in her loins that demanded to be sated, and to be sated now Princess Luna breathed heavily as Dusk pulled away, a tinge of pink on his cheeks as his eyes failed to meet hers. Mine sister choose well... she thought to herself, before blinking twice and mentally clearing her head. She did NOT want to think about her sister. Not tonight. For the first time in a very long time, somepony had, without her asking, offered her more affection than she could ever remember. Few dared to approach the Mistress of the Night, and never with pure intentions. She sensed that for him, it was a simple gesture of more-than-just-platonic affection, and an offer of more if she wished. She did wish for more. The silence must have lasted too long, as Dusk Shine began to speak again. "P-Princess, I'm s-sorry! I thought tha-" he started, before she took her turn to cut him off with a kiss. Pushing him over backwards, she assaulted his face, his lips, and even his mouth as she pushed her tongue in, frantically trying to get as much as possible before he could change his mind. Finally, she pulled away again, her chest heaving. "That was... more intense than We remember it" stated Luna, smiling uncertainly, before her expression fell. "Dusk... We want this. Very badly." Dusk hesitated, then smiled. Whew! Thank goodness for 'Expressions and Expletives: Everything you need to know to avoid Social Problems but were afraid to ask' he thought to himself. Dusk knew that he had very little in the way of bulging muscles or a chisled jawline, things most stallions seemed to care about, but he wanted to try something a bit new anyways. Disengaging from the princess's clinging hands, he stood up and took three steps away before turning around. Getting the idea, she got up and followed him, towering by half a foot yet seeming much smaller than her size would suggest. Though not blessed with the 'junk in the trunk' as her sister would call it, her size meant that her chest proportions were still larger than most mares dreamed of. Facing eachother, Dusk could hardly believe he was doing this. The first two times, in retrospect, he should have anticipated. This time, it had just seemed to happen, even though part of his mind could not help but notice that the mares in his life seemed to be far more forward than he had ever considered. Princess Luna smiled at him as she guided his hands up towards her corset. "Is it true, as We have heard, that thou art no 'blushing virgin' young Dusk Shine?" At her words, he did indeed feel an even rosier tinge come to his cheeks. Dear Celestia, his first time had been with Gleaming. Supressing a snort, Luna felt some of her confidence seep back as she considered her young, willin companion, and the things she wished to make him do to her. "Y-you know?" he said, looking up at her with apprehension. She smiled back, putting a hand in his mane and stroking it back. "We see all dreams, Dusk. Many dreams are simply memories, or wishes on how they could have played out. Others are desires, or hopes. We have seen enough to sort out Memories from Dreams. It is our Duty, after all, to make sure no pony will be a threat to Equestria ever again." "You... you're not ashamed then?" "Why would We be? Love is precious, Dusk Shine, wherever you can find it. As long as two adults are consenting and nopony is being hurt, there is no crime. We only hope that... nevermind. Have you ever undone a Corset?" Dusk frowned, looking at the intricate lacing along the sides of the garment that bound her chest tightly. A pattern appearing to him, he began to work on the knots as Luna nodded in approval, working around his waist to loosen his belt. Finally, with a little help from the Lunar Diarch, he lifted the corset free. To his surprise, she was not wearing a bra underneat. Upon noticing his quick glance, she smiled. "We are not as endowed as our Sister, and see no need to restrain the girls any longer, or any more, than we must for appearance. Still, it is nice to let your, as I have heard them called, 'naughty bits' breathe, is it not?" Dusk nodded, and finally brought his eyes up to look at her. Her abdomen was highly toned, with eight muscle clusters tightly defined. The only other pony he had seen, other than career body builders, with abdominals like that had been Gleaming Shield. Her breasts, now free, were large but perky, with none of the sag he had seen in some of his 'alternative educational' magazines. He could already feel a stirring, low before but now growing, in his loins. She was beautiful in every way, save for her eyes. Though bright, there was still a sad look about them, of somepony who had not been happy in a long time. He knew that look. He had seen that look in the mirror many times before moving to ponyville and meeting friends. "Princess..." Dusk said, tracing his hands down her side and bringing a shiver to Luna, "I know what it's like to be alone. I mean, I used to not care, but... it hurt so badly. Now, I look back and wish I had devoted more time to getting to know other ponies, instead of isolating myself. I don't know what it is like to be alone in the way you were though..." As she looked about to reply, he put a single finger on her lips. Never, in her entire existance, had somepony silenced her in such a manner. Her eyes crossed to look down at the finger, before looking back into his. "You are not alone anymore, Princess." There was silence, before she suddenly burst out. Dusk was nearly blown back in surprise as the now half-naked Princess of the Night began first to sniffle, before tears began. Dusk quickly pulled her into a hug, trying to keep his groin off of hers as he tried to comfort the stricken pony. Everypony needed a good cry now and then, and he had had his fair share of breakdowns... though usually not just before something like this. It was a few minutes before she drew to a hiccuping stop, and finally folded her wings around the young stallion, enjoying the close company of one who had at least tried to understand, instead of simply offering pity. They kissed again, Luna trying not to get cry-face all over Dusk, before suddenly pushing him back onto the bed. "We have NEVER been moved to such a d-display before, young D-Dusk Shine. Wouldst thou allow us to freshen up before we join thee... in bed?" Dusk nodded, sitting on the bed as he watched her head to the bathroom. His vast intellect came up with only one more thought: This is going to be a rough ride. > Tossing and Turning (Clop) > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was less than fifteen seconds before Dusk had made up his mind. Jumping off the bed, he plodded over to the bathroom, pausing only to steel himself before opening the door. Inside, he could hear the sink running in an alcove. Most of the room was dominated by a large basin that would fill with hot water, allowing for a bath one could swim in. Making a beeline for the sound of the water, he saw Luna washing the makeup off of her face. Her hair was no longer in an etherial state, instead sitting loosely around her shoulders as she washed. Putting a hand on her shoulder, he swallowed once before saying "I-if you want... I can help you with that. Maybe we could... t-take a shower together?" he said, trying to for once be bold. For another minute, she was quiet, before nodding. "We... er, I would like that. Thou art already familiar with the showers here, however. Perhaps... a bath, together?" Dusk nodded, and an old memory of him and Gleaming in the bathtub together as children brought a feeling of nostalgia to him. As she finished tending to herself, Dusk padded over to the large basin and inspected the faucets along the side. Lets see... Bubble Bath, no; Rainbow Water, eww; Lukewarm... who would even use that? Wait... what?" He was surprised as he found a faucet labled, in no uncertain terms, "Luna's Faucet set to the PERFECT TEMPERATURE. Alter under pain of banishment." Raising an eyebrow, he turned it on and tested it, letting the basin fill when he was satisfied it was a temperature he could survive. Undressing, he folded his clothing and set it off to the side on a small table. Getting an idea, he sat on the edge of the basin and concentrated. With a sigh, the ceiling shimmered and warped. The white tile decorated in tasteful flowers and gemstone inlays began to ripple as the surface changed to reveal something else. There was a gasp from behind him that nearly distracted him, but he finished the spell before it could fail. Now, there was a glittering array of stars and constellations as seen from Ponyville, all hanging next to a large full moon. Concentrating again, his horn lit as he started the second part. The lighting in the chamber darkened and the air cooled as he huffed and puffed, horn sparking, while the most powerful glammer he had ever cast took shape. In only four short minutes, the bathroom had been transformed into a scene on the hilltop overlooking Sweet Apple Acres. It was so realistic that whisps of steam wafted off into the cool night air, encouraging one to remain in the pool. Finally, he was able to breath easilly again. The spell had taken a toll from him, but not one that a good rest would not solve. As he turned around, the look on Luna's face made it all worthwhile. Instead of simple satisfaction as he had hoped for, there was sheer radiant joy on her face as she looked around her, stepping from the tile of the bathroom to the grass around the natural-looking pool of water. "Thy skills... thy attention to detail... you made this? These... are not simple copies of the stars. You made... all of this?!?" Dusk nodded, perplexed a bit. "I studied the stars for years. Making a Glammer like this is, while a bit exhausting, not even a tiny bit diff-" he stated, before once again being cut off as Luna smothered him in her chest, sitting down and pulling him towards her tightly. Her legs caused the slight slopping of water; but save for that the room was silent. A moment later, Luna's horn flashed and the sound of crickets and other night-life began to emerge. Pulling back, he saw a bittersweet expression on her face. "Nearly perfect, young Dusk. Nearly perfect." Dusk nodded, smiling as the reflection of the moon lit his eyes up. Leaning forward, he looked at Luna before gently taking one of the sponges used for washing, and getting it wet. "May I?" He asked, certain of the answer but knowing the role he had to play. They both knew; there was no true-love thing here. It was as simple as two ponies who needed eachother, even if just for a night. For her part, Luna had to restrain herself as she nodded reagally. "Thou may proceed." Stepping off the edge, Dusk moved around until he was in front of her; Luna simply reclined on the back, closing her eyes and trusting the stallion whom she owed so much, yet who wanted so little. The warm sponge pressed firmly against her neck and slid down, scrubbing away the sweat and dirt accumulated during a hard workout with her Lunar Captain, Stella. Sighing, she relaxed as Dusk went to work. It wasn't until her wings that he stopped. "Um... I've never learned how to preen before. How... how does it work?" Luna opened her eyes, blinking twice in the darkness, before looking at him. "Worry not about Our Wings. We are enjoying ourselves greatly... and would ask thou not to stop, please" she said, smiling and taking his hand, moving it to cup one of her breasts. Getting the hint, Dusk traded the sponge for a cloth and lathered it up. Starting slowly, he began to wash her belly; only when she made a grunt of impatience did he move up to her mammaries. Luna chewed on her lip as his explorations found her nipple, massaging it and the areola around it. They were, just like her eyes, a dark purple. Strands of her mane floated in the water as he leaned in closer, before kissing her one more time. Luna, eyes still closed, frowned as she felt his touches stop. There was a light splashing sound as of someone moving slowly in the water, and she was just about to open her eyes and ask why he had stopped when she instead arched her back, letting out a low moan. Dusk was glad that the one physical skill he seemed to be naturally good at was holding his breath. Putting his head under the water, he searched for her snatch. Finding his forbidden fruit, he leaned in closer and gently pushed her legs apart. It was always the scent he enjoyed the most, the smell of a mare who wanted something from him, but with his head underwater inhaling was not a good idea. Nevertheless, he gave her no warning as he plunged in. Dusk Shine gave a single long, slow lick along her slit before giving a very soft nibble at the nub near the top. Even below water he could hear the sudden gasp and moan. Taking it as a sign, Dusk popped up for a moment to give an impish smile before going back to work, not bothering to start slow. His rapid oral service lead to Luna quickly growing redder and redder, her legs twitching helplessly as her hands found her breasts and began to molest them. By the STARS, this colt is good. Sister Mine, this is one toy of yours I may end up never returning. The thought of taking Dusk Shine and locking him away, or perhaps putting him on a leash under her desk to service her gave her a naughty pleasure. There WAS a certain Mirror Pool, located near what was now Ponyville... she banished the thought, however. Her days of selfish desire were long behind her. A sudden nibble brought her back to reality and caused her to yelp. She watched as Dusk put his head up again, breathing hard, before starting back down once more. She hardly thought her levels of pleasure could increase until she felt a powerful clench in her nethers. With a sudden, sharp cry, she felt her first real orgasm since returning from the moon. Clenching her legs around the poor stallion's neck, she pushed her groin as hard into his face as possible. While his muzzle was much to blunt to fit in, she made up for it by riding his face as hard as she could while lying back in the warm water. This may have been a bad idea, thought Dusk as he began to run out of air. The powerful thighs clenching his head were beyond his ability to remove without magic, and the only cure he could see was to help her through her pleasure as best as he could. Pushing is tongue as far into her folds as he could, he felt her walls constricting around the intruder, seeming to both push him out and pull him in at the same time. Just as his lungs began to burn, his bonds went limp and he surfaced, gasping. His hard breathing was nothing compared to Luna's, who looked at him with shocked eyes. "Nopony... has ever... done THAT for Us. With a tongue that skilled, thou must have no trouble with magic at all." His earlier confidence fading, he nodded meekly before crawling over her a bit, setting his head on her chest and enjoying the snuggle a bit. The throbbing in his own stallionhood was ignored as he simply enjoyed being close to a mare he had just pleased so well. A moment later, a pair of warm wings wrapped around him and shielded his back from the illusory cold night air. After a moment, Luna spoke. "Dusk Shine... canst thou help us in getting up? We... need to get to Our bed. Our legs seem to be a bit... limp." With a wry smile, she held onto Dusk as he assisted her in getting up. Together, they dried off with far more contact than was usually needed for such a simple task. As Dusk reached for his clothing, however, Luna smirked, grabbing his wrist en route. "Thou will not be needing those yet, young Dusk." Smiling, Dusk looked up at her. "Race you?" It took only moments for them to make it to the bed, and Luna pushed Dusk over backwards with little care for grace or dignity. She wanted his stallionhood, and she wanted it now. Growling, she planted small kisses and nips all along his throat, from his shoulders to his ears as he squirmed under her. Unsatisfied, her hand flowed down his chest, admiring his slender, coltish frame that took her fancy in just the right way. She had always been partial to younger lovers, as only they seemed to give the attention she desired. Right now, reason and logic were cast aside as she pulled Dusk into another might embrace, pressing herself against him as hard as she could before sitting back and finally looking longingly at the treasure she sought. While he may not have been the largest lover she had taken to bed, he was far from the smallest and appealed to her in many other ways. The thought that she could still, after losing all of her practice and experiences, gain such control over such a sweet and innocent(ish) young being... her mouth watered at all the things she was going to enjoy in time. For now, she rose up, shuffling forward over him until he was in the perfect position. Dusk, who had been prepared for the slow intro he thought by now was commonplace, was unprepared when the princess squishing his lap roughly impaled herself on his member. Luna groaned as the itch in both her mind and body was put at ease now that her body was sure it was getting what it wanted. With a gasp, she quickly pulled herself up on his length before letting gravity to the rest. Pushing her hair back over her shoulder, she gave Dusk a fierce grin. "Thou shalt enjoy this much, young Shine. Sit thee back and bask in the moonlight..." she intoned. Dusk could only hold on to her hips as she rose again, grunting as she worked herself over his member. He felt far more like a passenger than a partner; a passenger on the most wild ride he had ever been. Not that he had ever been one for amusement parks, but a small corner of his brain stuck in analysis mode regarded it as 'much fun'. Her breasts bounced before him, the up-and-down motion would have been entrancing if Luna had not been distracting him by riding the poor unicorn until the wheels came off. Her still-damp fur glistened in the lamplight, looking nearly like her stars across her chest and belly. As her mane began to creep forward again, she pushed it back before leaning down close and whispering in Dusk's ear. "Thank you... we hope that thou will not think less of this after all is done. We are... not normally driven to lust like this." Dusk struggled to get words out despite most of the blood being somewhere other than his brain at the moment. "I... could never... think badly of you... P-Princess," he gasped, trying to form a coherent thought. "I kissed you f-first, remember?" With another heated kiss, the only sounds left in the room were grunting, gasping, and the occasional sigh as two ponies embraced in the most intimate manner possible. Finally, Luna could feel that the stallion beneath her was near his limit... and so was she. Dusk gasped while Luna simply closed her eyes, luxuriating in the feeling of total domination and control. With a sharp exhalation, Dusk squeezed her hips as he felt a familiar limit approaching. Princess Luna pressed herself down as she felt the final risings; not even air could have trickled between them for how tightly together they were pressed. With a cry, Luna arched her back, her wings flaring to their full length as her marehood clenched tightly again, even harder than before while electric shocks ran throughout her body. Together, under the light of a full moon streaming through the window in the roof, they came together. Even after finishing, they did not let go. It was a full ten minutes before Luna finally shifted off to the side, still holding tightly to her prize as she pulled his head into her cleavage, pulling him over her like her old favorite teddy bear as she felt an exhaustion she had not had in many years creep over her. The young stallion still looked dazed, his eyes crossed when they were open at all, though his breathing told her he was still awake. "How was that, my dear, sweet Dusk?" she asked, stroking his mane. ".... full of stars...." murmured Dusk, trying to figure out a good compliment as his brain began to shut down. "Thank you, Dusk Shine. However, before sleep claims you... May we ask one more favor from thou?" Dusk nodded, sleepily. "Anything.... anything at all..." he said, drifting off as his head rested upon her breasts. "I'd be h....happy to... help..." he finished, before finally nodding off. Days of study and an evening of hard exertion taking its toll, only Luna was left to smile as she watched him fall asleep in her arms. A feral smile curved her lips, and her horn glowed. > Infernal Desires (BONUS CHAPTER) (WARNING: FETISH MATERIAL AHEAD) > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Everything was wrong. Dusk ran, the empty hallways and corridors of Canterlot Palace looking familiar yet strange to him. Each corner took him to yet another room in the Lunar Wing of the palace. Behind him, the hallway faded into dark mist. Heart pounding, Dusk could hear the shrieking laughter of some infernal spirit. A sharp pain, like a whip, flared across his back. Yelping, he took off sprinting again, wrenching open a door and hurling himself through. This time, he stood before the Royal Gardens, with the statue of Eris, bringer of Chaos stood. The statue leered at him, Eris seeming to swirl before being replaced by a sculpture of the moon, tinged red. No, no, nonononono... where am I? This is... this isn't right! Turning around, Dusk found himself before the large double doors leading to the Throne Room. There were no guards outside, just as this entire palace seemed to be abandoned. Pushing open the doors, Dusk took one step before screaming as he fell. An endless void, filled with creatures snarling and snapping at him as he fell lasted for ages until he landed hard on his hands and knees. Once again, he was before the thrones. The throne he knew best, the Solar throne, lay in ruins. Broken pieces littered the ground while the seat itself was tipped over backwards. The other one, only recently restored to the Throne Room, was occupied. Upon it sat the tallest mare he had ever seen, even taller than Celestia. She was nude save for armor designed more for erotic appeal than protection, but seemed to wear her skin more comfortably than clothing. Lacking a codpiece, her large cock flopped down between her legs, leaving only the faintest hint of the marehood behind it. Her coat was as black as midnight in December, while her eyes were slitted like a dragons. Wickedly sharp teeth filled her grinning mouth as she looked down. At her feet, chained, were a battered looking Celestia and Gleaming Shield, both of them leaking something from between their legs. Even with the very air itself feeling odd to Dusk, as if this wasnt supposed to be, he recognized the figure on the throne. "Ah, my dear, sweet Dusk Shine. Our' slave's most faithful student, I see. What, trapped in here with little ol' me?" she crooned, leaning forward. Dusk attempted to rise, only to find himself frozen in position. He couldn't move, no matter how hard he tried, and her words flowed like syrup over him; sweet and sharp, yet hiding a sickly aftertaste. Celestia groaned, earning another kick as Nightmare Moon stood up, chanting. "Power granted to One more Fitting, By our Contract filled, Permitting. Lost and Alone I walk the Night, The terrors and creatures that I must Fight. Give us now what we desire the most, In return... we shall be your host." Nightmare Moon put her hand under Dusk's chin. Raising it up, she smirked down at him. "These words were spoken last one thousand and two years ago, on this very night. Our spirit was formed, that of Nightmare Moon. Infernal Desire and Lunar Light, the one you now know as Luna, made a pact. In exchange for his freedom, he agreed to merge his soul with Luna's to create Nightmare Moon, a being with traits from either... and powers from both." Dusk tried to find his tongue, only to fail at having any words come to his mouth. Unconcerned, Nightmare continued. "You made a promise, dear Dusk. Anything, anything at all. Our debt to you may now be paid... but a promise is a promise, right?" she whispered, leaning next to his ear. A flash of pain erupted in it as she nipped him, before standing back up and giving a cold laugh. "Now... this night may not last forever, so let us make of it what we can... shall we?" she said. A great weight lifted off of Dusk's body, and he felt himself able to move again. He had not done more than rise to a kneeling position before something warm whacked him across the face. Blinking, his nostrils were assaulted by a smell he usually associated with cleaning up his own messes... his eyes crossing as he looked down his muzzle, he could see her foot-long shlong, already half-hard, dangling in front of him. "I- L-Luna?" he croaked, finding his voice again. Once more the cold laugh assailed his ears before two hands found their way to the back of his head. "Get your treat, little stallion... or are you intimidated? We wouldn't want anything to happen to dear Celestia, would we? Or even your sister?" Gleaming Shield looked up, eyes dull. Nightmare's horn glowed menacingly, and with a gulp, Dusk closed his eyes, leaning forward to give a hesitant sniff. It was... kinda musky smelling, was his first thought. His second was that he could hardly believe he was even CONSIDERING doing such a perverse act... until her voice sounded again. "Don't be shy, little thing! You were quite happy to fuck your sister, and even your teacher. What's wrong with this?" Dusk flinched as her left hand left the back of his head, allowing her to flick him on the nose. Opening his mouth to protest, it was quickly filled with something other than a nice retort. His eyes bulged as several inches of throbbing flesh were force-fed to him, instantly pushing up against the back of his throat. He gagged and tried to pull away, only to be stopped as Nightmare Moon forced him deeper. Looking down his muzzle and trying to breath through his nose, he could see that there were still two or three inches left to take... and that she seemed determined to use him. Her powerful hips pulled back, allowing him a brief respite before pistoning back forward. This time, Dusk felt something give in the back of his throat as, with a slight ache, the flared head forced its way into his gullet. She gave a sigh and paused to enjoy the feeling, looking down at the powerful mage she had reduced to a simple cocksleeve. Eyes flashed in the dark around both of them as she grunted, humping again, over and over into Dusk's maw. By now, his mind could hardly process with what was going on. Never before had he even considered doing this sort of thing, or that he would be so... violated. Never before did he dream that such a thing might arouse him. Finally she pulled away, strands of his saliva linking him to the end of her girlcock. Gasping for breath, Dusk fell from his knees onto his belly, landing in the soft sheets of Luna's bed. How he got there from the throne room was as lost as his mind by now. Scrabbling madly, he he had nearly made it to the side of the bed before two strong hands grabbed around his (rather small) waist and dragged him back into bed. "You're not leaving so soon, are you? I would have thought that mine sister's best pupil would know better than to leave his work unfinished..." Dusk struggled, but he was no match for his captor as Nightmare pushed him onto his back. The softness of the pillows contrasted with her iron-hard grasp as the now fully-naked Queen of the Night loomed over him, pushing his legs aside. "I was always partial to stallions and colts, even when I was only Infernal Desire, you know. Luna inherited my preference for the younger crowd, you know. Unfortunatly, she never inherited this" she said, stroking her still-hard member as she began to push his legs up. Cheeks burning with shame, and more than a bit of arousal by now, Dusk Shine could only watch as she pressed the flared head of her large cock to his pucker. Nightmare Moon growled as he clenched far too tightly for her to seek entrance. Finally frustrated, she pulled Dusk upwards into a kiss, letting his full weight fall onto her member. Between his shock and the new position, she slid in easilly for her part. Dusk cried out as his previously virgin sphincter was forced open by the intruder. There was surprisingly little pain, though there was quite a bit of simple discomfort. Reduced to little more than gurgles, Dusk shuddered as she pulled out and pushed back in. Sharp teeth smiled over him as she thrust even harder, looking down at her conquest through half-lidded eyes, lips pulling back into a familiar smirk. Pushing all the way in, she finally let herself just rest for a while, lying down on top of Dusk and smothering him with licks, nips, and kisses though she was careful to ensure her dominating spirit. His lips were not allowed to find hers without her permission, and his hands remained pinned at his sides. Dusk lay on his back, crushed under Nightmare Moon hard enough that he could almost ignore the pain in his ass. There was something he could feel, something she was pressing against inside him that was bringing him pleasure despite his protests... and those protests were rapidly drying up as the powerful futanari pleasured herself with him. His relief was short-lived, however, as she pulled herself back up and out of him. "Roll over. Hands and Knees." Weakly, he began to obey, working his arms and legs until they found their way under him again in a parody kneeling before a queen. In this case, however, the queen in question happened to be kneeling behind him. His cheeks burned red as he braced himself. He did not have to wait long before he could feel her frisky hands all over his back, stroking him and pinching as she pleased. His flinches seemed to drive her into deeper joys as she cooed at him. "Ready, young Shine? Are you ready for your Treat?" Dusk bit his tongue, remaining silent until a sharp slap on his right asscheek drew a yelp out of him. Sniggering, Moon asked "So, does the naughty little colt like to be Punished after all? We've seen ALL of your dreams, young Shine. You have NO secrets from us. Now... are you ready for your treat?" Meekly, Dusk nodded. Though he could not see it, she nodded to herself before beginning the plunge back in. This time, they both groaned as she hit that place inside that brought pleasure not just to her, but to him. His own length began to grow, hardening but ignored for now, as the Mistress of the Night began to merrily pound his derriere. A hand under his chin caused him to look up... only to see another Nightmare Moon stroking herself in front of him, guiding his jaws around her length as well. Shame and lust battled within him as he opened his mouth, more willingly this time, and accepted her offering as she began to work more gently than the version pounding his taint. His throat accepted her more easily as she gasped, beginning to thrust against his face. From there, it was only alot of grunting, gasping, and groaning between the three parties. The pleasure inside of Dusk Shine began to outweigh everything else as he started to move on both of them, enjoying being dominated by two boy-girls so much more powerful than himself. His entire life he had been able to wipe small cities off the map in the blink of an eye, yet here he was reduced to a simple tool for somepony else's pleasure. The salty tang in his mouth began to grow thicker as Nighmare Two's member grew harder, moving towards release even as Nightmare One in back began to cry out in exultation. With twin screams, both versions of Nightmare Moon came at once, filling poor Dusk Shine from both ends with a thick creamy load. Unable to do anything more than take it, Dusk felt the fluid forced straight down his throat and into his belly even as his bowels were bloated by the demon behind. The one in front vanished in a puff of smoke after one final kiss, and two powerful arms wrapped around his chest as Nightmare Moon pulled him into a spooning embrace. She was big spoon, of course.
