Chapter 1
Four yellow hooves step on a door mat in front of a door that says 'Welcome to all of Tree Hugger's friends'. One front the front hooves brushes the dirt off by moving it back and forth against the mat. Fluttershy was visiting her friend, Tree Hugger's house for a little vacation, outside of Ponyville. She takes a deep breath, letting her heart miss a beat before she knocks on the wooden door. She waits half a minute before there would be answer from the door by a friend who was invited to the Grand Galloping Gala a few years back.
Somepony opens the door slowly, but the face doesn't get revealed yet. The yellow pegasus looks in and knows there's a green hoof. "Um, Tree Hugger, is that you?", she asked.
An eye pops out in the color of purple. She opens the door all the way open, revealing herself. "Well, hey.", she greeted. "Haven't seen you since the Grand Galloping Gala a few years ago.
Fluttershy giggled. "I know, it's been a while.", she said. "May I come in?"
"You certainly may, Fluttershy.", Tree Hugger said, letting her yellow friend in her little house.
Fluttershy stepped in the house and felt the floor which made out of oak wood. She lifted one of her front hooves up carefully, checking for no damages. "Can anypony get splinters easily whenever they step on this wood?", she asked.
"No, this wood doesn't give anypony splinters.", Tree Hugger said.
Fluttershy looked around and saw that the whole house is made out of wood, especially the furniture. "I know you put a lot of work on this little place. But, no offense, I don't feel comfortable sitting on furniture that's made out of wood.", she said.
"I know, that's because I live in these woods and not Ponyville.", Tree Hugger said. "Sorry if this makes you uncomfortable. But, I do have a room that you could be comfortable with." She pointed a hoof at a door on the left side of the living room.
Fluttershy was curious about the room. "What room is that?", she asked cocking her head.
"That's my sand spa room.", Tree Hugger said. "Whenever ponies need to be comfortable, I can just let them in there, they lay down in my box of nice warm sand, then I cover them up in it. I was wondering if you would like to try it, if you think it's ok."
She rubbed her neck with nervousness, she wasn't sure if she wants to do it. "Um, are you sure if you want me to do this?", she asked.
"Come on, 'Shy, I'm sure it's not going to be bad.", Tree Hugger said. "If it's a spa, it obviously means it will help you relax. So, can you try it out or not?"
"Hmm, okay, I trust you, Tree Hugger.", Fluttershy said. She was lead by Tree Hugger into the room. There were six large boxes that are the size of a full grown mare and they're filled with sand. "How do you get all this sand? Do you go to the beach a lot? There's got to be sand, otherwise it wouldn't BE a beach."
"Somepony sells sand at a market nearby the woods.", Tree Hugger said.
Fluttershy looked at all of the sand boxes. "Um, which one should I pick?", she asked. "There's so many of them."
"Pick number one.", Tree Hugger suggested, pointing at the box at the bottom right corner of the room.
Fluttershy raised an eyebrow. "How do you know that one's number one?", she asked.
"I put numbers on each side of the boxes.", Tree Hugger said.
Fluttershy felt sweat come down the side of her head. "Ugh, how is it so hot in here?", she asked.
"There's a heater in here.", Tree Hugger said. "This is the way to keep the sand warm. So, can you please lay down in the box?"
Fluttershy walked over to the box, climbed in, and laid down on her back, feeling the warm sand. She sighed as she relaxed. "You're right, Tree Hugger, it is warm.", she said.
Tree Hugger was grabbing plastic wrap head cap from her cabinet. "I forgot to tell you, you need to wear this around your head in order to breath.", she said, throwing the cap to Fluttershy.
Fluttershy took a look at the thing, as she held it in her hoof. "Ok.", she said, putting around her head and laying her head back down. She looked at all the sand that was pushed against the walls inside the box. "I got to say, this box is steeper than I thought."
"I pushed the sand from the center, so that way you have enough room to get comfortable.", Tree Hugger said. "You ready yet?"
"Yeah.", Fluttershy said with a smile. She relaxed and fell asleep.
It made Tree Hugger chuckle. She walked over to the box and began burying Fluttershy. First, she pushed the sand against Fluttershy's exposed soles. She pushed the sand over Fluttershy's hind hooves. She then pushed the sand over Fluttershy's front hooves and torso. She pushed the sand around Fluttershy's head, but didn't cover her face up. She made a big chunk of sand, the good size to cover up Fluttershy's face, she pushed it over and covered up the yellow Pegasus's face. She set a timer to fifteen minutes, the time that Fluttershy needs to relax. She left the room, to leave Fluttershy relaxing while completely buried in the sand.
Fifteen minutes passed, Tree Hugger went back into the room to uncover Fluttershy. She went up to the box and removed all of the sand from Fluttershy's body. She pulled her body up.
Fluttershy woke up. "How long have I been sleeping?", she asked.
"Fifteen minutes.", Tree Hugger said.
"Thanks for letting me experience this, Tree Hugger.", Fluttershy said. "You know, I did tell you I was going to spend time with you for a vacation, but your place is too dusty and wooden. So, do you want to go to a hotel and stay there for a few days?"
Tree Hugger nodded. "Go wash up and we'll pack up.", she said.
Fluttershy got out of the box and went to the bathroom to wash the sand off her body. She'll hope one day she go back to the sand spa again.
