After spending some time on earth, Moonstone is going to attend school to learn more about human's.
Moonestone, a Homeworld gem turned Crystal Gem was fighting to save the earth when a strange light shined in the sky blinding him, when he woke up he found him self in an alternate version of earth where everybody had technicolored skin.
15 years later, He is going to school to learn more about human's and this world.
I am your narrator of this story Moonstone. I have peach skin with short blond hair , my eye's are orange and I am wearing a black tank top with a star on the it and and navy blue jean's. My gem is well a Yellow Moonstone it's placed on my right shoulder, am also a Home World gem turned Crystal Gem. Yep you heard me. But my story starts long before I attended Crystal Prep. It start's at a field full of giant strawberries, were I was trying to fight back Home world's to save this planet, but one gem gave me trouble, a Jasper. As we were toe to toe, my katana and her clamor clash a bright light shines down from the sky. As I looked up I felt something touching me before passing out.
After some time I woke up on what looks like a beach somewhere, I decided to look around to see if I can find someone, but screaming caught my attention and I ran towards the sound
As I ran around a corner I saw two female people, both with pink skin, but the one that looked five had magenta hair with streaks of gold and rose, and the other one just had magenta hair with a single gold streak being attacked by a giant dog like creature with what looks to be gem for a nose.
Seeing this I rushed forward pulling my katana out of my gem blocking the creature's paw. "Run!" I yelled as I looked back I saw them do just that.
"Now then it's just you and me doggy." I said to it as I jumped over one of its paws as it swept at my feet. As I landed it charged at me knocking me back.
"So you want to play like that then." I said as we both charged at each other. As I got close I dodged to the left and slashed one of its legs off. It looked like it did not faze it at all because it just turns around and charged at me again. I took my stance and duck under the 'dog' and slashed it stomach.
As I landed on the other side as it puffed into its gem. "That's new." I said as I walked up to the gem and bubbled it, looking into the refection of the bubble I saw the two from before staring at me.
"Am not going to hurt you." I said putting my weapon away.
They slowly walked up. "Th-thank you." The woman said as she held the little girl tight.
"No problem." I said as I tried to send the gem back to the temple. "Ok that weird."
"Um mister what are you doing?" The little girl asked.
"Nothing.." I said shaking my head. "So where am I?"
"Manehattan beachfront. Are you lost?" The woman said.
"Never heard of it.." I said before closing me eyes to sense my surroundings, that is one of the things a Moonstone made on the moon's of Ugla prime can do. Pretty handy to scout locations to build 'Kindergartens'. Feeling nothing I shock my head.
"Is something wrong?" The little girl said
"Nothing big but" I said as I kneel down, which scared the women abit. "It seems am far from home."
"Maybe we can help. Can we Mommy?"
"I don't think so, it's too far." I said to her.
"Look if you need a place to stay.. Maybe you can stay with us for abit, till you get on your feet." the little girl’s mother said as she looked at me, proble thinking am homeless. Which I am, sort of.
"Sure, my name is Moonstone. Just call me Moon." I said as I stood up.
"Am Cadance and this is my mommy." The little girl said.
"Amor is fine with me." She said with a smile
15 years later
I was walking to the school that I have attended for the past three years now thanks to Cadence.She said it should help me understand human's a bit better. Watching everyone walking the same way wearing the same thing as me, reddish-purple blazers. That made me a bit uncomfortable due to me gem being hidden.
"Good morning."Cadance said to me as I walked up to the stairs to the school, it look like it was something made by Home World.
"Good morning Dean." I said
"You don't have to call me that, how long do we known each other." She said as I just shrugged it off as walked past her.
I dodged the people in the hallway as I made my way to see a friend of mean before class, and see if she is still trying to get into that stupid program. She was been at it for as I can remember.
After nearly bumping into Fleur as I came up to a door at the end of a hall and knocked on the door. The only answer I got was barking from the other side of the door.
I took a step back as the door opened by a girl with light purple skin and moderate sapphire blue hair with a one violet and one bright rose streak wearing a lab coat over her uniform and she is wearing a skirt. “Oh Moon, it's nice to see you. How was your weekend?” She asked.
“It was ok, Twilight. Still at it?” I asked as I walked into the room, it had many science instruments all over.
"Of course. I can't take a break, I need to find the best project to insure that I get in to Everten.” She said as she sat down in front of her computer.
“Look. I said this before, I will help the best I can. But try not to get your hopes too high.Ok.” I said to her right as the bell rang
“Why are people saying that. Am sure if I find something great it will be a guarantee entry.” She said as she collected her things for class.
“We just don't want you to be to sad if you don't get in.” I said as she proble rolled her eyes at me.
“Let's just get to class.” She said as she walked passed me and waited too me to leave so she can lock the door.
"Fine. See you at lunch then.” I said as I rush to my first class of the day as it was on the other side of the school. Why they gave me a locker far away from home room is beyond me.
The day was almost over as Ms Harshwhinny was talking about some math thing that seems easy enough. Like the others I wanted to get out of there because it's Friday
“Now then..” she said but was interrupted by the school bell. She let out a sigh “I want page sixty-five done this weekend. You are free to go.”
Everyone left in a hurry, as I took my time. I didn’t need to be at work of another hour or so. As I put my stuff away Lemon Zest, one of the Shadow 5 walked up to me.
“Do you understand this stuff?” she asked me with her headphones around her neck, still don’t know why the teachers let her have them in class.
“Yes , it's very straightforward .” I said as picked up my stuff
“Really, because I don’t get it. Why don’t you help me understand it better then?” she asked.
“Don’t you study with Sugarcoat?”
“She’s busy at the moment with her club’s. So is that a yes?”
I looked up at the clock and sigh knowing full know why she wants to study. “Sure, let's head to the library then.”
“Awesome dude. Later I’ll buy you a drink at the cafe.” She said as we head to the library.
“I work there, it's cheaper if I pay.”
After some time helping Lemon understand the homework we decided to head over to Moonlight Cafe.. Ya I know creepy that I share similar name with the cafe.
As we walked in I saw one of my co-workers, Indigo fighting with a red haired girl wearing a leather jacket with two boy’s behind, one chubby and the other tall and lanky . “Why are you here, Wonder dolt.” Indigo said as the two girl's butt heads.
“Just getting something to drink, so mind your own business.” the redhead said with venom back
“Whats this all about.” I said as I walked in between them, trying to stop this form getting out of hand.
“She’s a Wonderbolt, one of your enemies.That's what’s up.” Indigo said not losing eye contact with the redhead.
“Look this is a public place, it's not like she’s coming into our cafeteria and ordering.” I said as she backed up a bit, knowing I'm right.
“But.. Fine, what do you want miss.” Indigo said trying her hardest to be nice.
“A chocolate milkshake to go and I want you to make it, I don’t trust her.” The redhead said as she gave Indigo a smile that said ‘I won’.
I rolled my eye’s and went behind the counter and washed my hands.“Make it a double.” she said as she leaned on the counter as I was getting ready to make it.
I put the chocolate milkshake on the counter when I was done, and rang her up. She left without saying a thank you.
“See what I mean. There no go …” She said as our boss came out from the kitchen. “I mean..”
“Its already. I went to CPA so I know about the rivalry, but don’t let it happen again" he said as he went back into the kitchen as Indigo mumbled to herself.
“Man you almost got fired if it was not for Moonie.” Lemon said.
“Really , that nickname again.” I said as I stared on what Lemon's usually.
“I agree, what's with all the nicknames.” Sugarcoat, girl with bluish skin with grey pigtail and glasses in a crystal prep uniform said as she seemed to appear at of nowhere.
“Don’t do that.” Indigo said as the others Shadow 5 walked up.
“So have you got anyone to go to the fall dance?” Sunny Flare, the fashionista of the group said as she and the others sat down at the counter.
Almost everyone shock their head, before looking at me. “What” I said as served them their drinks.
“Have you ask, Twilight to go with you?” Sugarcoat said as she took a sip of her drink. “By the way you got my drink wrong.”
“Sorry. And no, am not asking Twilight to go because I'm not going. You know I never go.” I said as I started to clean some glasses.
“But dear you two are so close, I bet no one will ever ask her because of it.” Sunny said as she took a sip her tea that Indigo made for her.
I stared into the cup I was washing remembering the first time I first met Twilight.

I was walking through the hall’s of CPA when I felt someone that is scared of someone. As I walked up and peered behind a corner, I saw a girl with whitish skin and light pink hair yelling at Twilight about something.
“I gave you everything you need to do the work and I failed!” the pink haired girl yelled as Twilight is backing up into a corner.
“You didn’t do anything so..” Twilight said meekly.
“I even INVITE you come to one of my parties and you didn't even come.”
Seeing this I had to intervene, so I walked up behind her and tapped her shoulder. “What.” she said as she turn around.
"It's not nice what you are doing to her so leave her alone.” I said to her giving her a glare
“Well, it's not fair if SHE passed our group project and I don’t.” the pink haired girl said as she made a ‘whoa is me' gesture making me roll my eye’s.
“YOU said it yourself, you didn’t do anything nothing at all, so I don't see the problem with you getting a failing grade.”
“Gave her an opportunity to make a name for herself, so I see it as a fair trade. It's not my problem she did not show. ”
“Maybe she didn’t want your help, not everyone wants a hand out.” I said standing my ground to her.
“Ya whatever, I have better things to do.” She said as she bumped into me as she past me.
“Th-thank you no one ever stands up for me.” Twilight said as she shyly played with her glasses.
“No problem. People like that grinds my gears. Names Moonstone.” I said to her with a friendly smile.
“Twilight.” She said as she kicked the floor before the bell rang singling time for the next class
“Before you go do you know where class A-27? It’s my first day here.” I asked befor she rushed off.
“That's the next class I have, so why don’t you just follow me .” She said as she walked away.
“Yo are you still there?” Lemon said as she snapped her fingers in front of my face making me come back to reality.
“Sorry, just thinking. So you were talking about the dance or something.” I said as I put the cup down.
“That's right so…” Sunny said but I started to tuned her out as I went back to work.
After work I decided to take the long way home. As I walked I saw the same redhead from before harassing a guy with peach colored skin, spiky dark red hair wearing sunglasses for some reason. Before I could walk any closer he just walked away.
I just stood there before she noticed me and gave me a glare that said ‘you saw nothing’ before storming off. I just shook it off and continued to walk back to my apartment.
As I got home I was greeted by the corrupted gem that I bubbled so long ago, that must of been the Jasper I was fighting. How it indeed up like this it known.
“So how was your day?” I said to it knowing it can't answer me while bubbled. I walked over to my Ponysation 3 and started up Legend of Dragoon.
As I got to a boss my cell rang. Looking down and saw it was Twilight. “Hello.” I answered
“I was wondering if you would like to help me with a project?” Twilight asked
“Am guessing for Everten.” I said. The only answer was silence. “Fine I will help.”
“Great, be here by 9 am then.”
“OK....” We talked a bit longer before hanging up.
I woke up a few hours before I need to, so left my house to go for a walk wearing a grey leather jacket, on my walk I saw the boy from before.. ‘I never seen him before so he must be new to the area.’ I thought
“Hey Moon.” A female voice broke my concentration
I turned around “What do you want, Gilda?” I asked as I saw a girl with light brown colored skin and white hair wearing an aviator type jacket over a simple white tee and jeans walking up to me.
“Just wanted to see my favorite guy. What do you think” She said as she rolled her eye’s
“For the last, tell Principal Cinch no. Why does she want me to join the Friendship Games anyway?”
“She does not want only you, dweb, it’s also that girlfriend of yours.”
“Look, me and Twi are not dating and even if I do join she won’t so can you please stop bothering me.” I said as I walked passed her.
“Hey am not done talking with you.” She said with a bit of anger as she grabbed the hood of my jacket.
“I would suggest you let go, unless you want something bad happen to you.” I said in a eary tone.
She let’s go. “Tch. fine you're not worth the money. Later dwebi.” She said as she walked off. Knowing her she will be back later.
As I knocked door Twilight’s brother, Shining Armor answered.. Of course he would answer. “Moon.” He said as he blocked the door.
“Look, your sister asked for help.” I said
“She told me.” Shining said as he let me thought.
He followed me to the garage where you would find Twilight on the weekend’s. “She does not know anything so you don’t have to breath down my neck.” I said as I got to the door.
“Am just making sure my sister is alright.” He said as I opened the door.
The garage had many thing’s all over the place. On the table there were beakers filled with different liquids and shelfs with more stuff anyone should have. Granted the gem collection she had, that her brother gave her, did freak me out the first time I came here.
“You made it.” Twilight wearing a lab coat said as she got up from looking at her laptop.
“I would never break a promise, you know that.” I said
“I know I could count on you.” She said with a smile.
I shook my head. “Really you want to spend your day in here. It is a wonderful day out.” I said as I sat down on one of the chairs next to her, as I try to get her out of the house.
“You sound like my mother..” Twilight mumbled. “I need to find something soon.”
“I thought you have until the end of the year?” I asked as she nodded yes. “Then why rush.”
“I don’t want them to think am tardy with everything I do.” She said right before letting out a yawn.
“You stay up all night again.” I said.
“No am-” She couldn't finish that sentence before yawning again.
“See.” I let out a sigh. “Let’s get out of here so you can at least relax that big brain of yours” I said as poked her head, getting a chuck from her.
“I guess I could use a break” she said as she looked at the screen. “Plus it may help me find something.”
“That’s the spirit. “ I said as I got up.
“Where are we going?” She asked
The first stop we went to was the museum, they had a special exhibit that came all the way from Egypt.
“This seem interesting.. Maybe I can..” Twilight said as she looks over some of the artifacts.
“We are here to relax.” I said as I shock my head.
“I know but being here is getting my mind going.” She said as we continued to walk around.
“I get this is important to you, but you don’t have to push yourself too hard.” I said as we came to a sarcophagus with a fake mummy that to the untrained may seem’s to look real.
Twilight let out a sigh. “That is what everyone is saying to me.. I get you all care for me and all but..”
“You think we are nagging you but we care.” I said as we walked to the next part of the exhibit. "I bet you will think of something, you are the smartest girl I know.”
“You really think so.”
“Personal yes, I have seen you work so hard to get where you are.” I said
As we continued I could feel the presence of someone following us, but I payed it now mind, am having so much fun too.
After a hour or two just wondering around the museum, we decided to get something to eat. We stopped at Hay Burger, on are way to are next destination.
“This is great.” Twilight said as she eat with some ketchup on her cheek. Seeing this made me let out a small chuckle. “What?”
“You got a little something on you..” I said as I pointed to my own cheek.
“Sorry.” She said as she wiped the ketchup off. “Must of been more hungry then I thought.”
“Let me guess you skipped dinner again.” She nodded her head. “Why am I not surprise.”
“I had to find something, and I couldn't just wait around.” She said as she took another bite.
I just shock my head, but something caught my eye. Out of the corner I think I see Gilda spying on us..
“So what are you looking at?” Twilight asked as she turned around. As she did what I think was Gilda fled.
“Nothing let’s hurry up and eat.” I said as I picked up my burger.
It was getting late so we round are day back at her house. “I had a nice time.” She said as she smiled at me rocking back and forth as we stand on her porch
“Me too. See you don’t need to be stuck in your house all day.” I said
But before she could answer the door was opened by her mother, Twilight Velvet. “I see you are.. Oh moon it's nice to see you” She said
“Hi miss Velvet, how are you doing?” I asked her
“Am doing good.. Why don’t you stay for dinner.”
“No thanks I need to do some things at home.” I said to her as I took a step back. “See you at school.”
“Ya-ya sure.” Twilight gave me a awkward looking smile.
As I walked away I felt that presence again. Instead of heading straight home I took the long route by heading to the park, luck for me know one was there.
“I know someone is there!” I called out.. But now answer, so I kept walking.
When I turned left I came face to face with weird looking large all red bird with a gem stuck in its chest. “Easy there, you're not the one following me were you all day?” I asked the gem bird.
“Squack.” It said as it flew past me and right into Gilda, how was sneaking on up me.
“What do you want?” I said as I pulled the bird off of her.
“Well I saw you were on a date with that dwibe, so I decided to have a talk with her. But it seems you two were inseparable.” She said as she got up.
“....I was just helping a friend out, she really need to get out of her house is all.” I said as I held the gem bird.
“Ya, whatever. What is that thing anyway?” She said as she stared at the bird.
“Its a bird what do you think.”
“It does not look like any bird that I have seen.” She said as she leaned forward and the bird chomped down on her noes. “Why you.” She longed at the bird, but i sidestepped making her fall,
“You got in its personal space.” I said as I took this opinion to walk away
“You get back here, Dwibe am not done with you and that bird!” She yelled after us.
As we got a good distance away I put the gem bird down. “You can transform back.” It tilted its head as I spoke. “What's the matter… Don’t tell me you one of the thous gem.” I said as it only got more confused.
“Its not safe out here, how know’s what someone well do to you.” I said as I picked it up “You’re coming home with me.” It looked up confusedly but nestled into my arm’s. “Hope you don’t act like other bird’s.” I said as I turned a corner.

On a some were close to the city limits “Where is that bird.” A muscular gem with pale green skin said as he searched there ship
“It must of escaped when we sent the other one out.” I said as I hung up the communicator. “Plus it's not our problem now is it.”
“I guess you're right, Labradorite.” The other gem said as he sat back down next to me
The next few days went by. It was boring to say the least, nothing real happen.. The only thing that people were talking about was the dance that was happening on Friday. Funny it usually happens next Friday, but I guess Cadance was able to convents Principal Cinch to move it up so none of the students can crash the Canterlot High’s dance..
It was the day before the dance, and everyone is running around like headless chicken to get everything ready. I decided to help and decorated the gym.
“Do we rely need all this?” I asked as I walked into the gym with a box full of stuff.
“Yes, this place needs to look awesome.” Lemon said as she was setting up the DJ booth on the stage.
“Am surprised Principal Cinch is letting you do all this?” Sugarcoat said as she and the other’s walked in with boxes in hand.
“This year it is up to Dean Cadence, so no snobby dance like we have ever year.” Lemon said as she jumped down.
“They not snobby there sophisticated dance.” Sunny said getting Lemon to roll her eyes. “But a change of scenery is all way a good thing.”
I just shock my head. “Let's get this over with.” Indigo said as he look thought the boxes and pulled out some streamers.
“Hold on.” Lemon said as she went and turned on some Music “There now we can start.” She said.
“I hope this is not what you plan to play only our music?” Sugarcoat said
“No I asked around what people would like to listen to, if you must know.” Lemon said as she pulled out some streamer’s.
“Were so you want this.” A guy with dark brown skin with blond hair said as he carried a box
“Over there Trend.” Lemon said as she points next to the stage.
“So Trenderhoof, do you have…” Sunny started to ask Trenderhoof but I toned it out and just listen to the music and help put up the streamers and other thing’s. Man what I would do to just moph and fly up there instead of going up a ladder.
“Ohh. He said yes.” Sunny said
“That awesome.” Indigo said as she went to high fived her
“Please don’t.” I asked as she was the one holding the ladder that i'm on, getting Indigo to roll her eyes.
“So what about you, are you bring someone.?” Sunny asked as I climbed down.
“No, i'm not 100% sure if i'm going.” I tell her as I climbed the ladder down and walked over to the box and pull out some more things. “What is the theme, under the water or something.” I said as I pulled out what looks like a cut out of a fish.
“Yep. Cadance thought as this first official dance scene Principal Sombra quit. And why not come?” Lemon said as she punched me in the arm.
“Dance’s are not my thing that's all, but looking at how much hard work you put in is changing my mind.”
“Really.Th-thanks, I could of done it with all your help.” She said with a smile big smile. “Group hug!” She yelled as she pulled us all in getting the other’s that are helping to stare.
Not many students care for one another but this group seems different. Ever since I met them they seem so opened to each other.. I wonder what they would of been if they never met me.
I shaked that thought out of my head. “This great and all but we have more stuff to put up.” I said as I stepped away from the hug.
“His right.” Sugarcoat said as she pushed up her glasses
After we got up all the decorations, I decided to check in with Twilight. Knowing her she will be in her lab. As I got to near I noticed her door was opened a crack, knowing her she would never leave it open like that.
So I Sneaked up piped through creak of the door and saw Gilda going through her files.
“No. that's not it.” She said as she rummaged through a drawer throwing paper’s all over the place. “What was that.” She stopped as I made the door creak
Seeing as I blow my cover, I walked in. “You're not supposed to be here. “ I said to her. She just stares at me before giving a smirk.
“Oh what are you going to do tell Principal Cinch.. She is on my side.” She said as she got up and stared at me with that stupid smirk.
“What if I go to the Dean she would be on my side.” I said to her, if anyone came by the would think we are having a staring contest.
“Unlike the others of this school am not afraid of getting kicked out, it would be a blessing.”
Knowing that is true i stepped forward. “Get out.” I said with a threatening voice.
“You think you're a hotshot, show me your fangs then.” She said as she raised her fist.
“What do you think you're doing.” Cadance said her voice came from behind me
“Nothing am just passing by and saw this dwibe in here.” Gilda lying
Candance shock her head at the statement. “Gilda run along before I decide you deserve more.”
I watch her run away. “You know she was lying right.”
“Am well of aware of it, what can I do anything to punishes her. It seems anything I do just goes over her head and then she does it again.” She said as she shock her head.
I bent down and began to pick up the papers that Gilda throw around. “Here let me help.” She said as she bent down and helped.
“So the dance is tomorrow, are you going with anyone. I bet I know someone that would love to go with you.”
“Look i'm flattered, but aren’t you already taken.” I said with a smirk
“Not me.. am over that.. No am talking about Twilight, no one asked her.”
“Look I well go and talk to her tomorrow about going as friends so she does not have to go alone.” I said as I picked up the renaming pages.
Cadance shock her head. “If you think that well help her..”
The day is almost half over do to the dance happening tonight we end early. All day I have not seen Twilight at all, I asked the others if they seen her and all they said is she was absent from class all day.. That is strange for her she never misses a day of school.
After class I went straight to her little lab to make sure she saw real not here and not just to focus on a project or something..But she was not even there.
I let out a sigh and left, there is no need for me to stand around… Maybe I should head over to her house and see if she up to going with me.. Maybe it's too late and she found someone else. I shaked my head and texted her.
As I got to the front doors of the school she texted me back. ‘Am fine just have a little cold is all and I don’t want anyone to catch it so.. Am not going to the dance.’
As I read I know something was not right, she never gets sick.. Will maybe once or twice a year but it's too early for that.. I texted back ‘hope you feel better soon.’ Now that's sent I went home to get ready for the dance.
As I got home I was greeted by the gem bird from its perch with a caww.
“Nice to see you to.” I said as I sat down on my couch. The bird just stared at me as I relaxed.
After awhile I looked into my room and saw the tux that Sunny made for me. Funny, up until yesterday I was not think of going but she still managed to make one for me. Am know fashion expert but it nice looking one.
I let out a sigh knowing I could just transform into and I felt bad do to all the time she probably spent on it. I push that thought down as I transformed what I was wearing into a under shirt of the tux.
I as I looked up and saw what time it and decided to head out, and seeing as it is short noticed I did not have a ride like the other’s. As I walked down the street I heard someone honk at me, I turned my head and saw a limousine pull up next to me and Lemon popped her head out of the sun roof. “Hey Moonie, why don’t you join us we have plenty of room.” She calls out to me before she was pulled back in.
The window closest to me opened and Sugarcoat eyed me. “She’s right there is a lot of room.”
I shock my head as she opened the door letting me in. The limousine was nice looking, the seats looked all vinyl and there seem’s to be a mini...bar. Sugarcoat must saw me staring at it. “I requested non alcoholic beverages.” She said.
I took a bottle and read the label before taking a sip.
“So are heading to Twilight’s house to pick her up?” Sour asked.
“No, she said she was sick.” I said
“For real, that sucks. Anyway it's going to be an awesome one.” Lemon said, she was wearing a purple shirt with a lemon green skirt and a black jacket over it.
The drive there was short, but an exciting one to say the least. As we pulled up so did Sunny and her date, Trenderhoof. “Perfect timing now we can enter together.” Sunny said as she walked up to the door’s of the gym.
We were in aw from what the gym looked like amazing, I know I helped set it all up but seeing it all light up and everyone having funny for what looks like the first time in their lives was a big surprise.
The gym looked just like we were under water with all the blue lights and the coral like streamers hanging down from the ceiling. “You outdid yourself.” I said to Sunny as she walked next to me.
“It was not only me but it was a group effort remember.” She said as she had her arm linked with her date.
“I guess you're right, but this is your design thought.” I said as I walked up to the refreshment.
After some time Lemon walked over to were me and Indigo was standing. “YO, how are you doing?” she asked as she had a cup in hand.
“Am doing fine, it seems a lot of people came tonight.” I said as I took a sip of my own cup of punch.
“This is the biggest crowd then the last few year’s..So why aren’t you out there dancing?” Lemon asked
“I ah, am not a great dancer that's all.” I said.. I may be lying but am not that into dancing It always will remind me of my time back when I opposed the side am on now and her.. I shaked that thought out of my head.
“Oh come on I bet your great come one.” Lemon said as she pulled me to the dance floor.
“Have fun you two.” Indigo said with a chuckle right before a guy walked up to her and asked to dance.
As me and Lemon walked onto the dance floor the DJ put on a slow song that made me roll my eye’s. “What you think this is corny.” She asked as I put my arms around her waist.
“Very with a side of pea’s.” I said witch made her chuckle. “Hey. Why aren't you the DJ for dance.” I asked as she calmed down.
“I was but the other said I should enjoy myself, and you know what I am.” She said with a smile as she tilted her head to the side. But before we know it the song was over. “I guess the song is over.” she said with a slight blush as we let go of eachother.
“It seems so.” I said as the next song played. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Twilight run out the door. “Hold on a sec.” I told Lemon as I pursued her.
“Twilight!” I called out as we made it to the front of the school. She stop’s and as turns slowly around I see that she is wearing a long blue dress with star’s at the bottom and light blues heals.
“Umm hi Moon.” She said as she looks down at the ground not even looking me in the eye.
“I thought you were sick.” I said as I walked down the step closure to her
“I was..I mean I am, it's just.” She said as she took a step back from me.
“You were never sick then?” I asked getting a simple nod. “Then why lie about then come?”
“Cadanec forced me out of the house when she found out I was lying.. I did not want to be swept up in all this but when she said…” she said finally looking at me with a sad expression. “She said you wanted to go with me then I saw you dancing with Lemon and..” She couldn't finish before falling to the cry crying.
“Hey there’s no need for that.” I said as I bent down to try and comfort her.
“Why her and not me is it because she is popular!” She cried out
“What are you talking about Lemon pulled me out there to dance, before that I was on the sideline watching.” I said putting my arm around her as she lounged forward and cried into me whispering something.
“I-I tho-ught I lost you to-oo...” She said as she left her head and looked my in the eye.
I smiled as our eye’s as met. ‘This warm feeling inside of me is just like back then with… No I couldn't.. Could I?’ I thought to myself before strong sensation came over me causing me to jump up to my feet.
“What is it?” She asked as she got up and put her hand on my shoulder.
I looked in the direction that I think the strange energy is coming from before a big rainbow came up and shot a laser down. “What was is it?” Twilight asked in a more concerned voice .
I look back at her and shaked my head. “Nothing, let's go have some fun seeing as you are.” I said looping my arm into her causing her to blush.
I paced around my apartment some time after the dance . “What was that? Twilight seem to not notice..” I mumbled as the bird that I named Bob was fast asleep.
As I paced my phone rang, I looked up and saw it was about 3 in the morning. I went over and saw it was Twilight, I picked it up. “Good you're still awake.” She said
“I could say the same to you it's late and you should really be sleeping.”
“Uh ya. Guess what?” She said obvious too into whatever she has to say. “My EMF meter has picked up something during the dance.” She continued
“What? Look can we talk about this tomorrow.”
“Sure I guess we can.. Good night then.”
“You better be well rested so good night.” I said as I hung up the phone and let out a sigh.
“It seems it wasn't nothing after all.” I crashed onto my couch and woke up Bob. “Sorry about,”
Early the next day I walked up to Twilight's house but before I could ring the bell her father, Night Light answer. “Oh hi Moon. Twilight is still sleeping but come in come in.” He said as he moved out of the way.
“Thank’s. Twilight seemed to of found something interesting.” I said to him, he is one of the people that know what I am.. Her brother does not like me hanging out with Twilight, he seem’s to be really protective of her.
“Is it something about..Them?” He asked as we lead my to the living room, they had a nice HD TV and a bookcase with a lot of book’s.
“I hope not.” I said as I walked over and picked up a the new Daring Doo book, for some reason this book series reminds me of a movie franchise back on the other earth. I just shake that though out of my head before I took a seat across from Night.
Not to long later Twilight came down in her pajamas, they were purple with light purple stars on them. “Morning dad. Morning Moon.” She said sleepily as she head to the Kitchen before turning around and rushing back up stairs.
“Most of forgot you were coming.” Night said with a chuckle as he began to read the Newspaper as I just shaked my head.
Not even a second later she came down wearing a vest over white longsleeve shirt and a purple skirt. “Sorry about that, was not expecting you this early” She said with a smile.
“I did not have that much to do today. So about what you found. Mind-” I was interrupted by her stomach.
“Mind if we grab something before.” I nod my head. “Thanks want anything.” She said as she walked into the kitchen.
“No thank you.” I said.
“Come on you need to eat to get that brain going is that not what you keep saying to me.” Twilight said as she popped her head out of the kitchen.
“You're right I have been hounding you about that.” I said as I head to the Kitchen but her father grabbed my arm.
“I just got a call earlier about some of my colleagues have seen a giant neon green hand last night flying into space.” He whispered to me.
That's right he works at the observatory so he is the best at giving me any info about anything suspicious flying around. “It could be thanks for letting me know. Hope you don’t get in trouble.” I said as he let go.
“OK then i'm heading out, they need some help. So you two have fun.” He said with a wink as he got up and left.
The house was quiet as I made my way to the kitchen. “Where is everyone?” I asked as I sat down at the table
“My mom is out of town for...Business stuff and Shinie is over at Cadance house. cereal ok?” She said as she took out a box of frosted flakes.
“Sure.” I said. Funny as long as I known this family I was never told what her mother, twilight Velvet does for a living.. She is out of town a lot.
We eat in silence until Spike came running up and tried to jump up into my lap. “Hey there buddy.” I said as I picked him up and put him on my lap.
“Remember the first time he met you?” She asked
“Like it was yesterday, he kept growling at me and giving me a look saying ‘don’t mess with her’.” I said as we both laugh.
“So what now? About us I mean” She asked as we calmed down and she started stared down into her bowl with one arm lying on the table.
“There’s not much to do.” I put my hand on to her’s. “We should work from here and see where things take us.” I said with a smile as she half smiled back at me.
We finished fast and she lead me to the basement door. “My dad told me yesterday I should move my stuff so the garage can fit more cars.. Plus it's an upgrade in size.” She said as she unlocked the door.
As we walked down I saw most of her stuff still in boxes. She leads me to a table next to a machine as she pulls out charts. “Now right here around the time of the dance the readings went off the chart’s twice.” She said as she handed me the chart.
As I looked at it the first one was to wave and imperfect for it to be Homeworld but the second one seems fit the bill...Mostly. “Maybe it just picked up a solar flare or something.” I said trying to get her to not look into this.
“What if it's not then what. As a scientist I need to look I need to look into this kind of stuff.” She said as ripped the sheet out of my hand.
“And what if it's something dangers what then.” I said with a stern look
"And what if its not."
"Look am just saying, you should not rush into this."
“I thought we are there for me thought and thought..” She said with a sob. “Get out.” She pointed to the door.
“Look am-”
“I said get out!” She yelled at me with tears running down her cheek.
I sighed as I walked over to the door. “Am just looking out for you..” I said as I walked up the stairs.
As I got the kitchen I heard the front door open. I walked over to see Shining Armor and Cadance. “Oh you're here..What's wrong?” Cadance asked as Shining gave me a look.
“Twilight found...Some reading’s that may be from Homeworld.” I said as Shining eye’s widen
“You did not-”
“No I did not.” I let out a sigh. “I tried to get her to stop her but… We kind had a fight.” I finished as I scratched the back of my head.
“Oh. So what are you going to do?” Shining asked
“Am going to look into this and keep her safe as best I can.” I said as I made my way out and back to my apartment.
As I got there I pulled out my katana and looked at it. “Funny, she is just like you.” I said as a tear fell onto the blade.
I left Twilight's house and decided to head over to the park seeing as it's a nice out. I walked over to a bench and sat down.
“Why does she so adamant.” I said as I let out a sigh and looked up, but someone's voice got my attention and I turned and saw a girl with light pink hair and light yellow skin walking a bunch of dog’s.
“S-slow down.” I heard her say as a lot of the dog’s pulled the other way. A small dog seems to break free and ran up to me.
“Loss something?” I asked as I picked up the dog.
“Oh umm thank you.” She said as some of the dog tried to chase a squirrel.
“Need a hand?” I asked as I walked towards her, she nods her head and I took a few leases from her.
“So do you you have a dog? You seems to be great with them.” she asked as I followed her as she walked
“No. I own a bird that's all.” I answered.
We walked around the park and made our way back to a building I have seen from time to time, the sign outside read ‘Animal Shelter’.
We walked to the back door, and I saw its true to its name. There are many animals in cages or in pens playing. “Not many people come help.” The girl said as my eyes fell on two puppies playing tug of war with a rope.
“That's kinda sad to hear… if I have the time mind if I come by and help?” I asked as I help put the dogs away.
“Sure.. um what's your name.” She said shyly
“Sorry I guess I forgot to mention. It's moonstone.” I said, but it seems she tensed up a bit. “Is something wrong?”
“N-no. Um its Fluttershy, my name that is.” She said quietly
“Yo is that you Moonstone.” a female voice called, I turned around and saw Tree Hugger, a green skin girl with red braided hair.
“Wait you know each other?” Fluttershy asked.
“It's complicated.” I said remember saving Tree Hugger a year ago or so ago from a corrupted gem. “So you final staying in one place?” I asked Tree Hugger.
“For now, this place gives out good vibes.” She said as she leaned on the door frame. “I heard you are attending CPA.”
“Ya..” I look at the clock over head and remember I have a shift in a few minutes. “Sorry can't stay, I have work soon.”
“Oh that's ok thank for the help.” Fluttershy said.
I waved goodbye and head to the front door and bumped into a girl with the whites skin and purple hair. “Sorry, I must've not been looking where I was going.” I said moving aside to let her in.
“Why thank you darling.” She said giving me a Sunny Flare vibe.
“No problem.” I said as I head out and to work
The following Monday was peaceful, the only real difference was Twilight was keeping her distance and hanging out with a girl I have never seen before. Lunchtime rolled around and I was sitting alone watching Twilight and this new girl chat like they have been friends for ever.
“Thats Moon Dancer, They were best friends till she moved away because of her dad's job.” Sugar Coat said sitting right next to me as the other followed with Lemon Zest sitting in front of me.
“Wow, how did you know that?” Indigo asked
“I was in they same class as them and they were inseparable.” Sugar Coat said as she took a bite of her sandwich.
“Soo why is she so distant with, you two seem close during the dance?” Sunny asked.
“Just a fight that's all.” I said with a shrug
“Is it about her research?” Sugar Coat asked getting spot on.
“It's something dangerous and she just too thick headed.” I let out a sigh. ‘She really reminds me of-’
“Umm so can you help me with this science real quick?” Lemon asked as she put a piece of paper.
I looked at the paper and saw that it was half done. “Really your not done.” I raised and eyebrow making her chuckle.
-After school-
I tried to leave school and head home but Gilda was waiting for me. “I see you have had a fight with your girlfriend.” She said.
“She is.. Arrg never mind what do you want?” I asked with a grown
“Will I found this picture and it looks like you are in it.” Gilda said showing a picture of me in the Amazon fighting a beast. “It was taken a few years back.. What is that?”
“I don’t know, that guy must be my look alike.. Anything else?”
“I doubt it.” she rolled her eye’s
As I walked passed her and saw Twilight was talking to Moondancer and our eyes meet for a second before looking back at Moondancer. With a sigh I made my way home.
As I walked in I was greeted by Bob flying over to my head. “Hey there, how was your day.” I asked it as it rubs its head on my cheek. It kawed in delight.
I walked over to my game console and booted up Ponymon. As I was fighting a gym a felt a strange energy wave like someone was using a warpad. “That can’t be good. Someone trigered the sensor. ” I mumbled as I got up and looked out the window of my apartment in the direction of the only Warpad in miles.
I turned and looked at Bob, it look agitated too. “I guess I could go check it out.” I said as I saved my game.
I decided to fly over so I transformed into a bird scaring Bob. “Want to go for a fly?” I asked getting a kaaw in excitement. With that we both flew out the window.
We made it to the warpad to know one in the area. ‘I guess that Homeworld ship was here check this place out… It was only a matter of time till they found this place.’ I thought to myself flying around the warpad before heading back home.
I have been keeping my eye on Twilight after find the recently warpad being activated to make sure nothing happens. But one day.
“Have you seen Twilight?” Cadence asked as she walked up to me as I was putting away my books seeing its lunch time.
“No.. Who long has she been missing for?” I asked
“She was not in school. I asked Shinning to check if she was at home and she was not there.. You don’t think?”
“Look let's not jump to conclusion. I’ll go ask around to see I anyone has seen her.” I said with a nod we went our separate ways, her going back to her office.
I spent all most of lunch asking around getting no answer. “Hey dewb I heard you're looking for someone?” I heard Gilda voice call. out.
I turned around and saw her leaning on a locker. “Look I don't have time to deal with you right now I-”
“I may know we're she may be.” She said eyeing her nails.
“What's the catch? I know you won't tell me without getting something in return.” I said narrowing my eyes.
“Ouch, can't I do something in the kindness of my heart.” She said took in back. “Anyway I heard her and her friend plan on going to a Hall’s abandoned scrap yard, if that helps.”
“Ok.. Thanks..” I said unsure of I should trust her, before heading to the parking lot
I opened the door and pulled out my phone to call Cadence. “I think I may know we're she is, am going to borrow your car.” I said fast hanging up faster them she could answer. I started the car and head to Hall’s scrap yard.
I parked the car far away from the scrap yard so it won't get damage.. Again.. As I walked up I saw that lock on the gate was missing, but before I could push it open a hand fell on my shoulder. Turning around I saw Indigo and Sugar Coat with a quiver full of arrows and a bow standing there. “Were here to help.” Indigo said.
“It's too dangerous to go in there.” I said
“Look we may not be Twilight's best friend and all, but we do care for one of our own…. And Cadences want us to help out.” Sugar coat said
“That too I guess…” Indigo said with a baseball bat in hand.
I looked at them and there weapons and thought to myself, ‘thoues weapons don’t stand a chance against a Gem… but.’
“So are you coming or what.” The goggle wearing girl said as she pushed open the gate with easy.
Knowing what I have learned about Indigo, that she would not give up till the task is done. So with other choice I followed closely behind.
As we walked around the scrap yard not finding anything but all of a sudden a noise caught our attention. We turned around and saw a fused Topaz, without a second thought we were captured.
The Topaz split us up, and I was in a cage with Indigo. “Let us out you big doult.” She said banging on the bars of the cage.
“Must you be annoying.” an Aquamarine said walking up to the cage.
“Wanna piece of this shorty.” Indigo said in a threatening tone.
“Like you can take me on.” The short Gem said laughing.
“What do you want from this place?” I asked calmly trying to find out there plan, am also glad they did not notice what I am yet.
“If you must know, you are heading to the Human Zoo.” She said with a smile
“Wait, human zoo?” Indigo asked
“Am going to check on the others so keep a close eye on them.” Aquamarine said flying off.
I took the time to come up with a plan, think of know other option I let out a sigh. “This better help..” I whispered
“What he-” Indigo said as my clothes started to glow. When it die down my clothes changed into my old Crystal Gem outfit with a few changes.
“I’ll explain later.” I said felling the stare am getting. I looked at our capture who was reading herself for battle. “Look we can do this the peaceful way or the hard way.” I said pulling out my katana.
Not waiting another second I slashed the bars apart and siced the Topaz in hafe causing it to poof. “You killed her?!” Indigo said walking out of the cage.
“I just poofed her reverting her back into her gem’s.. Look know not the time for this.” I said shaking my head.
I walked slow around with Indigo close behind. After turning the corner we saw a cage with Twilight, Moondancer, and Sugar Coat. I ran up and slashed the bar’s. “Where did you get that, you didn't have it-”
“No time we have to get out of here.” I said interrupting Sugar Coat.
“I thought you were something else.” Aquamarines said, but before I could turn around I felt a gem destabilizer shocking me, thinking a head I dropped my Katana on the the floor before I poofed.
