After recent events, Fluttershy moves to Las Vegas, where she meets new friends, including a chaotic one.
After her parents died and her brother moved away, Fluttershy inherits her family's fortune and moves to Las Vegas, where she meets Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and a talking dog named Spike, but one day she meets a chaotic friend, who for some reason, can't stop thinking about her.
"Mommy, why is Daddy so sick?" asked a young eight-year-old girl who had a light yellow complexion with light pink hair and teal eyes to her mother with concern.
"I don't know dear," said her mother who had a cream colored complexion with purple glasses over a pair of magenta eyes that matched her hair, she also had a yellow pearl necklace around her neck.
The doctor could not hold back a sad face as he came into the waiting room "I'm sorry, we did the best we could, but I'm afraid your husband will die within the next few minutes, now is the opportunity to say goodbye"
The child and her mother ran into the room kneeling beside a light green man with the same eyes as his daughter's, he had even lighter pink hair than his daughter's he also had a mustache that was the same color, and he wore a hospital gown.
"Fluttershy?" he said weakly,
The young girl embraced her dying father crying, "Daddy" she said through sobs
"Daddy's fine sweetheart," he said before coughing horribly.
Fluttershy embraced him tighter,
"Fluttershy, there's something I want you to promise me before I go"
"Anything," she said holding his hand in hers
"Please, take care of your mother, and be good for me, okay?"
Fluttershy nodded, still crying.
"That's my big girl," he said before giving her a kiss on the cheek,
Fluttershy and her mother embraced him when the sonogram started beeping slower.
"Goodbye, we love you" whispered her mother,
"Goodbye," he whispered back when suddenly, the sonogram's frequency line went flat and there was a loud beep that seemed to go on and on forever until finally, it stopped.Fluttershy turned to her mother in cried in her arms, her mother embraced her crying as well. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ten years later, Fluttershy was in the waiting room, this time, alone.She was hoping this was a dream and she would soon wake up, but she pinched herself countless times and it did her no good.A nurse walked up to her with a sad look on her face "I'm sorry, but I'm afraid she will die in a few minutes, we did the best we could," she said putting a hand on her shoulder
Fluttershy thanked her and ran into the room, she saw her mother there on the bed, she kneeled beside it and looked down,
"Fluttershy?" asked her mother holding out her hand
"Yes?" Fluttershy answered, taking her mother's hand
"Before I go, promise me, that no matter what, have kindness, courage, and hope, please"
"Of course"
Her mother then gave her a present, Fluttershy took off the lid, inside was a beautiful little box, Fluttershy opened it, then a little tune played, Fluttershy gasped, it was the music box that her mother and father used as a lullaby to put her to sleep every night, Fluttershy couldn't hold back the tears any longer.As she cried and embraced her mother her mother then put her hand on her daughter's cheek.
"Beautiful, strong, my sweet sweet Fluttershy"
then her hand dropped, the sonogram let out a long beep before it stopped
Fluttershy whispered"Goodbye" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fluttershy sat in a chair in an office until she was given her family's will, it said
"We leave every penny we ever owned to our lovely daughter Fluttershy, who we will love forever"
Fluttershy took the paper in her hands, thanked the lady and left to go home. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fluttershy was in her room, petting her pet bunny Angel, who nuzzled her, he could tell that she was sad, Fluttershy smiled a bit, Angel bunny was often stubborn, and bossy, and hated to be told what to do, but he still loved Fluttershy, (although at times he would never admit it).
"Angel, I think it's time to start packing," she said
Angel nodded and jumped off the bed, he pulled out her suitcase
Fluttershy got off of the bed as well she took her clothes out of her wardrobe, she gathered up all her snacks for angel and her for the trip, she had packed her movies, her books, her blanket, and pillows, her hygiene products, her makeup, and lastly, the music box her mother gave her yesterday, she was all packed and ready to go.
except for one thing; Angel,
"Angel, I'm sorry but you have to go in your pet carrier, the airport doesn't allow animals to run free" said Fluttershy with a frown.
Angel folded his arms and looked away with an annoyed expression.
"I'll give you five carrots for dinner", she bribed
he did nothing
"Pretty please?" she pleaded
he did nothing.
Fluttershy sighed in defeat and sat on her bed, thinking about what to do,
Angel looked over at her eyes, no one could resist them when they were sad, he sighed and hopped over to his pet carrier
"The things I do for this girl" he thought as he slipped inside
Fluttershy smiled and said "Thank you, Angel"
Angel rolled his eyes while closing the carrier door and squeaked Yeah, yeah, I love you too, now come on!!"
Fluttershy nodded, as picked up her suitcase, and the pet carrier and went out the door, she was finally at the airport, after she got in, she looked around for her plane, she found it in the middle, a voice called over the P.A;
"The plane to Las Vegas will be leaving in five mintutes"
"Oh no" whimpered Fluttershy, she ran towards the plane, she got on just in time.
"The plane to Las Vegas is now taking off, passengers please stay in your seats until the flight is over, thank you", a few seconds later, the plane took off.
Fluttershy stared out the window of the plane, she saw many clouds and a proud blue sky, she looked away, she was not that fond of heights, well... more like falling from them, but still. At last after what felt like hours, the plane had landed
"All passengers, please stand up and grab your things once the plane comes to a complete stop, Thank you," said the pilot over the P.A,
Fluttershy grabbed her suitcase and her pet carrier and got off of the plane. ------------------------------------------------------------- Fluttershy found her way to her apartment room, she unlocked the door and entered, the first thing she did was open the door of the pet carrier, Angel quickly hopped out stretching and started squeaking complaints about how cramped it was in his carrier, Fluttershy sadly smiled
"I'm sorry Angel, thank you for staying in there the whole time, I think you deserve a treat," she said,
Angel's ears twitched as the rest of him stood still, Fluttershy took five carrots out of her bag and put them on the ground, the rabbit came racing towards them and started nibbling away, though not before giving her a squeak of thanks in acknowledgment, Fluttershy giggled slightly and started unpacking.Her room was really nice, it had four windows, a bathroom with walk-in shower/bathtub and other things behind one door, her bed was a four-poster that was extremely comfy, there was a mini kitchen, with a stove, there was a mini dining room, the room had a walk-in wardrobe, a closet, there was a little table beside her bed,and there was a good-sized T.V, under it was a fireplace.
Once she was finished unpacking, she changed into a fresh set of her usual clothes, which was a white tank top, a light green skirt with thin, light pink lace, there was a white butterfly, a light pink butterfly, and a butterfly that was a normal shade of pink on the left of the skirt, she wore knee length socks that were pink with white spots, she wore boots with a white edge at the top, and a white heel at the bottom, she wore pink eyeshadow and she a little hair clip with a white butterfly, she then decided to go outside.
"Be good Angel, I'll be back in a couple of hours," said Fluttershy on her way out, she took the elevator down and went outside. -------------------------------------------------------------- Fluttershy looked around, it was an extremely busy city, though it was full of nice people, then suddenly a girl came up to her, this girl's complexion was lavender, she had dark purple hair with magenta highlights that was in a bun, she wore black glasses over her eyes that matched her hair, except without the highlights,she wore a plaid skirt, and a maroon vest over a light blue shirt with long sleeves, she had black ankle shoes with purple legging socks that came up to her knees
"Hey, you look lost, do you need a map?" the girl asked holding out a map
"Oh yes, thank you," Fluttershy said taking the map
"It's no problem, this is a big city, so it's pretty easy to get lost"
"Yeah, I'm new here by the way,"
she chuckled "I've noticed, I'm Twilight Sparkle," the girl said holding out her hand
Fluttershy took it"I'm Fluttershy," she said
"Well, it's nice to meet you, and if you have any questions about this place, I live in that apartment over there," said Twilight pointing over to the same apartment that Fluttershy lived in
"I live there too"
"Well, in that case, I'm on the seventh floor"
"I'm on the tenth"
"Well, I guess I'll see you around then, I gotta go, bye," said Twilight waving goodbye before walking away
Fluttershy waved back, then she started looking at the map Twilight gave he when she suddenly got pushed over, into a puddle of mud
"Oops, sorry," said a girl who kept on running, Fluttershy didn't see much of her, but she caught a glimpse of rainbow hair
"RAINBOW DASH, YOU COME BACK HERE AN' HELP THIS GIRL UP,!!!" said a female voice that had a southern accent, Fluttershy looked up and saw a girl with an orange complexion, she wore a brown cowgirl hat that covered some of her straw-colored hair that was in a ponytail, she had white freckles on her face, a pair of brilliant green eyes, she had a white shirt that was green around the neck and had rolled up sleeves,she wore a blue jean skirt with a brown belt with a red apple in the middle, and she wore brown boots that had red apples on them, the girl suddenly sighed and knelt down.
"You okay sugar cube?" she asked holding out her hand
Fluttershy took it as she was helped up
"Ah'm sorry 'bout Rainbow Dash over there, she loves ta run, but Ah don't reckon she meant to knock ya down," the girl said rubbing the back of her neck, "I'm Applejack, but sometimes you can call me A.J," she said shaking her hand up and down
"Oh, it's fine, I'm Fluttershy, it's nice to meet you," said Fluttershy putting on a smile
Applejack then walked closer and asked"Hungry?"
Fluttershy's stomach rumbled at the mention of hunger
"Um,.... a little?"
Applejack then brought out an apple and put it in her hands"Try that" she said
Fluttershy took a bite out of the apple, and her eyes immediately lit up, she never had an apple this tasty before,
"This is delicious!!!" said Fluttershy,
Applejack put on a proud smile "Glad ya like sugar, if ya need any more of those sweet apples, just come to Sweet Apple Acres, we have the freshest apples around, I gotta go now, I'll see ya later" she said as she waved goodbye as she walked away
Fluttershy waved back, she was about to go back to her apartment, when she heard a scream, she then felt a pair of hands grabbed her shoulders and turned her around, she saw a girl with a white complexion, she had a two beautiful blue eyes,she had the most elegant curls in her royal purple hair, she had a hairclip with three blue diamonds,she had a light blue shirt with puffy, mid length sleeves, she a purple ribbon with two blue rings in the middle that went around her waist, she had two golden bracelets, one one each wrist, she had a light purple skirt with a pyramid of two blue diamonds on the right of the skirt, and she had two purple boots with a diamond at the top of each, this girl had a look of horror on her face
"DARLING!!!WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?!!!!!" she shrieked in panic
Fluttershy looked down, she just realized that she was covered in mud
"Don't worry dear, I'll clean you up right away, you poor thing." said the girl pulling her towards what looked like a spa -------------------------------------------------------- A few hours later, Fluttershy and the girl having a steam, it was absolutely relaxing, suddenly the girl spoke up,
"I apologize for freaking out earlier dear, my name is Rarity, and yours?"
"Oh, Fluttershy, it's fine Rarity." said Fluttershy smiling
"That name is Perfect for a pretty girl like you." said Rarity with a smile
Fluttershy blushed"Th-thank you, but I-I'm not that pretty"
Rarity scoffed"Please, I know beautiful when I see it, and I can see that YOU Fluttershy, are beautiful, inside, and out"
Fluttershy smiled a bit at this, though she still didn't agree with Rarity
a few minutes later, the two girls walked out to the reception office, Fluttershy was about to pay, when Rarity stopped her hand with hers
"Ah-Ah-Ah, I'll pay for this darling"
"But it's really no-"
"PLEASE, dear, I INSIST," said Rarity as she paid for the treatment
"Thank you Rarity," said Fluttershy
"No trouble at all darling, maybe we could do this more often?"
"Of course"
"Well, it's getting a bit late, I should probably be off, it was lovely meeting you dear, goodbye"
Rarity waved goodbye as she walked off, Fluttershy waved back, the sun had already gone down, she started to walk back to her apartment
when suddenly she heard a shrill voice purr "Evening Gorgeous, to whom do I owe the pleasure?"
Fluttershy squeaked and turned around in alarm, there was a tall man with a gray complexion, he had fierce black hair, a pair of green eyes with red irises, he wore a black tux with red shoes, he looked like Satan, though Fluttershy could barely make out his appearance in the dark.
"Um,.....I-I-I, uh" Fluttershy stuttered
"Calm down, my sweet little doll, I simply just want your name," he said cupping her chin in his hands
Fluttershy ran as fast as she could at the moment, but she stopped at a dead end, she then felt a pair of arms grab at her legs, she turned around, he was smiling menacingly, he leaned in towards her face closer, and closer, Fluttershy closed her eyes, ready for the worst.
Sombra felt a pair of strong hands grab him by the back of the neck and slam him towards the ground on the other side
Fluttershy's eyes opened and she saw one figure up and another on the ground, then she saw a hole in the fence
"RUN" yelled a voice
Fluttershy stood up and ran faster than she did last time, she didn't stop until she was home --------------------------------------------------------- Fluttershy embraced Angel bunny panting, Angel embraced her back squeaking questions about why she was out after dark, Fluttershy quickly explained everything to her precious bunny, Fluttershy was terrified, who was that man who chased her, why was he chasing her? who was that figure who was standing up? Fluttershy cleared her head of these thoughts as she made herself dinner, ---------------------------------------------------------- Fluttershy watched some nature documentaries, she then turned the T.V off, to get ready for bed, she changed into her pajamas, they were a green shirt and pair of pants that matched with white butterflies and she wore purple slippers she felt scared that someone might have been watching her through the windows, but as she checked them, no one was there, she decided to open her music box and listen to the tune, she listened to it for a few more minutes, she then felt a lot better, she decided to put her bunny to bed,
"Angel please get into bed, it's past your bedtime," said Fluttershy trying to get Angel to settle down, but Angel kept saying he wasn't tired, but Fluttershy saw the tiredness in his eyes so she sang this song
"Hush now, quiet now it's time to lay your sleepy head, hush now, it's time to go to bed"
Angel's eyes drooped, but he would not give in easily
"Drifting off to sleep an exciting day behind you Drifting off to sleep Let the joy of dreamland find you"
Angel was now on the floor, sleeping, Fluttershy giggled and picked up her pet and put him into bed singing
"Hush now, quiet now it's time to lay your sleepy head hush now, quiet now it's time to got to bed"
Fluttershy then got into bed herself but one question remained, who was that voice?.
Fluttershy woke up and yawned, it was a beautiful day in Las Vegas, she got out of bed, took a shower, had breakfast, then she brushed her teeth, then she changed into her normal clothes, then she suddenly there was a knock at the door
"Come in," said Fluttershy
the three girls she met yesterday came in, including two other ones
"Good morning Fluttershy, This is Spike," said twilight, Fluttershy then saw a purple dog with green on him as well,
"OH MY GOSH!!!" she said as she ran over to the dog and held him in her arms
"Um,...hi?"
"YOU TALK?!OMG, that is amazing!!!" then she put him down and looked at the others
"Mornin' Sugar Cube," said Applejack tipping her hat
"Morning dear," said Rarity
"Sup?" said a voice Fluttershy vaguely recognized
a girl suddenly walked up to her, this girl had a light blue complexion, she had magenta eyes, she wore a white tank top with a cloud that had had a rainbow-colored lightning bolt under it, she wore a short, blue, leather jacket with short sleeves over her shirt, she had a pink skirt with white stripes on the side with grey shorts underneath, she wore rainbow-colored bracelets on each wrist, she had rainbow-colored socks, and she wore blue boots with white shoelaces, but Fluttershy instantly recognized her rainbow hair; she was the girl who knocked her down yesterday.
"Hey, I'm Rainbow Dash, sorry 'bout knocking ya down yesterday, I was trying to get some exercise, but I should have stopped to help ya up"
"Oh, it's fine, I'm Fluttershy"
"Well Flutters, it's a nice place ya got-"
"HEY, WHAT ABOUT ME?!" shouted a voice
A girl ran up to her, She had a light pink complexion, she had blue eyes, crazy poofy fuschia hair, she wore a white tank top with a pink heart in the middle, she wore an extremely short blue jacket with short sleeves, a purple ribbon tied in a bow, going around her waist, she had a purple skirt with two blue balloons, and one yellow balloon, she had two light blue bracelets, one on each of her wrists, and she had shoes the looked like rainbow's, except they were a lighter blue, and they had light pink bows at the top.
"Hi! I'm Pinkie pie, I like parties, and cupcakes, and cakes, and sweets, and candy, the girls said I should probably wait till' tomorrow to meet you, but I just HAD to see you up close!!!" said the girl in a high, fast worded, and energetic voice, while putting her face closer to hers
"WHOA!!!, you ARE really pretty!!!" said Pinkie pie in awe
"Didn't I tell you?" asked rarity with a smile
"You mean didn't WE tell you?" Twilight said
"Either way, you were right on the target," said Rainbow
Fluttershy blushed, she was often called beautiful, but she still wasn't used to it.
"So, do you all know each other?" asked Fluttershy
they all nodded
"We're all real good friends," said AJ
Fluttershy smiled, then she remembered what happened last night
"Um,...girls? I think I'm going to take a walk"
"All right, but try to be back shortly, we were thinking about having a sleepover," said Rarity with a smile
Fluttershy nodded and went out the door. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Fluttershy was walking outside wondering what was going on last night with the two figures, she couldn't exactly make them out that clearly, especially the one who she thinks saved her, suddenly she heard a voice purr
"Excuse me miss, but I can't help but notice that you're really cute, how about I buy you a milkshake?"
Fluttershy squeaked and turned around, she saw a man with a white complexion, he had light blue eyes, blonde hair, and he had a tuxedo on,
"Huh?O-oh,n-no thank you," she said backing away, she realized she was in an alleyway
"Oh please, don't be like that," he said walking closer
"No, please, no, NO!!!" she screamed as she closed her eyes and braced herself
suddenly a fist collided with the side of the brute's head
Fluttershy's eyes fluttered open slowly, she saw the boy getting up, and she saw another boy standing in front of her, this boy had a gray complexion, he had yellow eyes with red irises, he had crazy black hair, he had a little white goatee on his chin and he had a tooth that looked like a fang sticking out,he has a yellow long-sleeved shirt with a brown vest, he had red pants, one brown shoe, and one green shoe, to Fluttershy his appearance was chaotic,...yet interesting.
"I don't know if you've heard, but I believe the lady was telling you to get lost"
The brute scoffed "Whatever, I'm leaving" he said as he stomped off
there was dead silence, then the boy asked "Are you all right?" although he didn't turn around
"Y-yes, thank you, b-but did you have to use v-violence?"
he said through clenched teeth "You're too kind for your own good, you know that?"
"I,....I-I can't help it," she said "Though, that probably doesn't make sense"
he shrugged "What's the fun in making sense?"
"What about the satisfaction of understanding?"
".......Sometimes it's better not to understand things"
She just stood, she never met someone like him
"Wh-Who are you?"
He finally turned around and to her surprise, he was smiling"Well,...I'm Discord,I'm different from most people you meet, but I enjoy chaos"
"Um,....why?"
"Well I think that making sense is boring, so chaos naturally entertains me,............What's your name?"
"Um,....I'm Fluttershy" she said louder than she intended
"Fair name, suits someone like you, see you around" he said walking away
Fluttershy stood there with her thoughts, 'what just happened?'
finally, after a few minutes of silence, she said quietly "He saved me"
they all said in unison "What?"
Fluttershy sat up and said, "A boy saved me yesterday, and today"
"Saved ya from what?" asked Applejack
Fluttershy paused then she whispered "Someone who tried to hurt me"
"Who Darling?"
"Well, today there was this boy who was a bit flirty, but mainly, there was this boy, he had gray skin, he had fierce black hair, he had eyes that looked like Satan's, and yesterday, he tried to get me"
"The boy who saved you?" asked Twilight
"NO!!!, the boy who was after me"
"Did ya get his name?" asked Rainbow
"No, but I got the name of who saved me...I think"
"WHICH IS?" asked pinkie pie in her innocent voice
she paused again "I'll tell you later"
"Yes, we need to start setting up for our sleepover," said Rarity ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After changing into their P.Js they got the sleepover started.While Rarity was painting her nails, Rainbow Dash and Applejack were telling Pinkie Pie about the craziest things that ever happened to themselves, Twilight was reading a book about "How to not embarrass yourself in front of your crush" (Although she told them it was how to organize your books) Fluttershy was writing in her notebook about Discord.
Discord is the most chaotic boy I've ever met, but he was also interesting, and I hope no one sees this but, he was even a tiny bit,.......cute.I wonder if I'll ever see him again
"Fluttershy, you okay?' asked applejack
Fluttershy closed her notebook and irises shrank in alarm
she looked at AJ blushing and Said "YES!!!, just fine" she gave a fake laugh
Applejack detected a lie, but she felt that if she asked a girl as delicate as she why she was blushing, she would break faster then the china in a china shop with a clumsy mad bull set loose, so the cowgirl just nodded and walked away.
After a few minutes, Pinkie pie asked who wanted smores, and who wanted to do ghost stories, usually, Fluttershy would sit in a corner, but this time, she thought that a little bit wouldn't hurt.
After Twilight told a story, Pinkie Pie challenged Rainbow Dash to a contest between the two for who could tell a scarier story, when they got to Pinkie's story, Pinkie pie told Fluttershy to leave the room, after about ten minutes Fluttershy came back into the room, she saw Pinkie's hair, it looked deflated, almost like a,...................balloon, she also noticed Rainbow Dash was curled up in a little ball shaking, she had looked like she had seen a ghost, the other girls were hugging each other shaking,
"And then,....I GOT HER!!!!" Pinkie shouted all the girls screamed, it sounded like Rainbow's scream was the loudest and the highest
then Pinkie started laughing like a maniac, then her insane laughter turned back to her cheery one as her hair poofed up again, the girls started laughing along with her, except for Rainbow, Pinkie pie then said "The end"
Fluttershy walked up to her, Fluttershy then asked: "What was your story about?"
"Just cupcakes......, and I believe I won the contest Dashie," she said turning to Rainbow Dash, who nodded, still looking a bit spooked,
finally, Rarity announced it was time for bed, everyone got into their sleeping bags, except Fluttershy who lied down on her bed pulling her blankets over her. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Fluttershy woke up, she heard a constant tapping at her her window, maybe it was Constance, her new bird friend, she went over to the window and pulled back the curtains, but it wasn't Constance, it wasn't even a squirrel,........it was Discord.
Fluttershy screamed, Discord fell backward, nearly falling off, luckily her friends didn't wake up, and Discord stopped himself just in time and climbed back up again.
Fluttershy opened her window and faced him, she whispered loudly "Discord!!!, what are you doing here?"
Discord opened his mouth to answer, then he stopped, Why am I here? he asked himself
"Well,.....um,.....I wanted to talk to you" he whispered which was sort of true, though it could also have been that he wanted to get a closer look at her, but he decided to keep this to himself
"why?"
"Well, I didn't really see you that well last time," he smirked and poked her in the nose,"and I was trying to make sure you weren't doing anything stupid to get a guy's attention"
"WHAT?I-I was not-" she began angrily when suddenly he started to laugh
"That's absolutely adorable my dear, don't worry I was just pulling your chain," he said bringing out a chain he found on the roof
Fluttershy blushed, not only did she feel stupid not knowing it was a joke, but he also called her adorable,
"I-I....I thought-I d-didn't...." she stammered
he chuckled "You really are something aren't you?"
she went a dark crimson she looked away so he wouldn't see her face
Discord, however, felt almost compelled to make that the opposite, he wanted to look into the depths of those teal eyes that resembled bright sparkling Jades in the darkest night, he cupped her chin in his right hand, then quickly set it down.
"W-Why did you d-do that?"
"Uhh, direct eye contact," he said sweating a bit
"Oh"
"Hey, who are they?" he said pointing to five silhouettes on the ground
"They're my new friends Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, And Pinkie Pie"
"Oh?"
"Yes, and by the way, if you don't mind me asking, how do you know I live here?" she asked looking a bit nervous
"I watched you run away to make sure you got home safely last night"
"So you WERE the one who saved me last night?"
"Bingo!!!"
suddenly, he felt something grip him tightly, he looked down and saw that Fluttershy was hugging him
"Thank you," she said
Discord smiled, and he returned her gesture.
after a few minutes, Fluttershy let go of him, and then she asked
"Why did you save me?"
Discord paused for a moment
"Lets just say that me and the boy who attacked you don't exactly get along, I didn't want him to do anything harmful to a cute girl like you"
Fluttershy blushed a deep shade of cherries, but continued to talk"Who is he?"
"I'll tell you another time, but for now, I should probably get going," he said starting to climb down the roof
"Can you at least tell me his name?" she asked looking down at him
at first, he said nothing, then he whispered "Sombra"
Sombra was just sitting on his chair, he was fuming,
"Um,....is everything alright milord?" asked a girl with a shimmering crystal purple complexion, with shiny blue hair, her name was Radiant Hope.
"NO!!! ISN'T IT OBVIOUS?!!!" he growled venomously, it was as though he was actually spitting poison.
"The other day, I came across a girl with exquisite beauty, she was clearly rich, she was perfect, and what happens? SHE TURNS OUT TO BE AN IMPUDENT, WHINY, LITTLE MINX!!!!"
Radiant hope cowered in fear
"I was THIS CLOSE, to having her in my grasp, when out of the blue, comes this IDIOT, attacking ME!!! I'm surprised he made it out ALIVE"
"D-did you catch either of their names? s-sire?" Radiant asked shakily
"No,....unfortunately,.......you're not as stupid as I thought Radiant, that information would have been very useful"
she bowed "Thank you, milord"
"Quiet, it was just a mere compliment, I need some time alone in my room"
"Yes sire" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sombra sat in his room alone, in front of the fire, thinking about the girl he had seen, her eyes, he'd love to spread his darkness through them, her lotus hair, that would look prettier if dark red, and her pale yellow complexion, would look magnificent if it was rather,....black, he couldn't stop thinking about her, he thought "I will make her mine, she'll be mine even if I have to kill everyone"
suddenly there was a knock at the door
"ENTER" barked Sombra
it was Radiant hope, she had a note in her hand
"It's for you, you're darkness," she said shaking slightly
Sombra snatched it out of her hands and started reading it
Dear Sombra, I don't appreciate your little hunt you had the other day, I don't know much about manners, but I am dead serious when I say; HOW DARE YOU? HOW DARE YOU TREAT A LADY LIKE THAT? you could have taken away her innocence if I didn't stop you, you have done many nasty things in your life, but this is a new low even for you, a lady like that does not deserve to be treated like that, I will not tell you her name since I hate you, but I know her, you try anything like that to her again, you are dead. Sombra looked at the note and did nothing, then after a while, surprisingly, he smiled
"So,......Discord thinks he can stop me?Please, I'll treat any girl the way I want to, plus, he's just a boy who doesn't know what he's getting himself into, I'll just continue with the plan, and by the time I'm done, She'll be mine, and Discord will be destroyed"
Fluttershy sat on her bed, waiting for her friends she had invited them to a Christmas party, soon they came in
"Hi girls" she said, the others said hello as well
"D-Do you remember that boy I told you about?"
"The one who saved you?"
"Y-yes,....I-I invited him so you could meet him"
"SOUNDS EXCITING!!!" said Pinkie pie
"I hope he'll come,....." she said, she had decorated the place with wreaths, bells, Christmas lights, she had a Christmas tree with lots of presents underneath, she had some candles, red bows, garland, and other decorations, and not only had she invited Discord and her friends, but she had also invited their boyfriends too, Timber Spruce, Carmel, Soarin, and Cheese Sandwich, there was a knock at the door, Pinkie answered it, it was their boyfriends,
"COME IN" exclaimed Pinkie Pie, all the boys walked in except for Cheese Sandwich, who Pinke tackled in a bear hug
"Hiya, Cheesie Bear!!!"
"Hey there, Lovey-Dovey-Pie!!!" he replied returning her embrace
Rainbow smiled when she saw Soarin
"Hey," she said
"Hi Rainbow, did you miss me?'
"Pfffft NO," she said
when Soarin gave her a playful shove Rainbow laughed
"Okay, okay, maybe a little bit"
Twilight saw spruce and blushed
"Hey,......" she said shyly
"Hey,....." he replied just as shy, unknowingly, they grabbed each other's hands
"Howdy Carmel," said Applejack waving to her boyfriend
"Howdy AJ" he took a whiff
"Did you put on new perfume?"
"Nope," she said
"really?.....you smell like apple blossoms"
"Aww shucks Caramel, you always were a shameless flatterer"
Rarity watched this and frowned, she didn't have a special somebody, she sat down with her arms folded across her knees
"Ummm,.....Hey Rarity" she heard a voice say, she looked down beside her, it was Spike, Rarity smiled
"Spikie- Whikie, hello," she said
"Do you,.......mind if I sit in your lap?" the dog asked
"Not at all," she said Smiling, Spike returned her smiled as he gently hopped into her lap
Fluttershy started talking to Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich
"I'm really happy for you two, " she said
"THANKS, FLUTTERSHY, say,....why don't you have a special somebody?" asked the pink girl
"Well,......a COUPLE of boys asked me, but I barely knew them"
"Ahh," said Cheese "Don't worry Fluttershy, you'll find somebody soon, I know I did"
Fluttershy smiled "Thank you Cheese"
suddenly there was a knock at the door
"I'll get it," said Fluttershy walking towards the door, and to her surprise, Discord was behind it,
"D-Discord,.....you made it," she said smiling
"Hello," he said
The girls looked behind them, they saw a boy they had never seen before, Fluttershy gestured for them to come over
"Girls, this is Discord, Discord this is Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie," she said pointing at them introducing them by name
"It's nice to meet you Discord," said Twilight
Discord only yawned "The pleasure is mine," he said in a bored voice
"Is he nice?" whispered Rainbow to Fluttershy
"He is to me" she answered
Rainbow and the others shrugged and went back over to their boyfriends
"W-Welcome to my party" she said nervously
"Great to be here," he said trying to smile
"Umm,.....are you hungry?" she asked
"No, I had something on the way here"
"Oh,....okay,...." she said
There was an awkward silence between the two, untill Discord asked
"Can we go outside? it's a bit warm in here"
"S-sure" she said following him outside
they were warm since they were wearing winter clothing, there was snow outside, they just stood there
"Do you like animals?" he suddenly asked
"Yes,...very much"
Discord handed her something, it was a box with holes in it, and it was wrapped in pink
"Merry Christmas" he said
Fluttershy smiled, she gasped as she opened the present, inside was a real, baby fox, it looked up at her
"Discord!! she's so cute, thank you, thank you so much!!' she said nuzzling the baby fox, she then gave the fox the directions to her room and let the tiny fox inside.
"I,....I-I got you something too." she said blushing while handing him a box wrapped in red wrapping paper, he opened it, inside was a scarf that had blue and pink squares in the pattern of a chessboard
"I,....I-I'm not the best at knitting, but I made it for you,.....I remember you said that you liked this that were random, so I thought of the pattern and,....I hope you like it,..even though it's not much" she said still blushing
Discord smiled "I like it, I really do,....I really like that you were thinking of me while making it"
Fluttershy smiled back and looked up, she thought she heard a poof, she blushed a deep crimson
"What's wrong?" asked Discord noticing this
"L-Look up" she answered, Discord complied, he went just as red as Fluttershy, above them was a piece of what looked like,.....
"Mistletoe" whispered Fluttershy still blushing
Discord's heart pounded wildly, how did that get there? it wasn't there before, he had known this because he kept looking up because of how nervous he was, he didn't know what to do
then to his surprise, Fluttershy, with eyes closed, kissed him, right on his lips, his eyes dilated, he felt as though he was going to faint, but he didn't, then without thinking, he closed his eyes, and wrapped his arms around her, she didn't move away, she put her arms around his neck, they had kissed for almost a whole minute until Fluttershy let go of him and broke the kiss, discord let go of her as well,
"Merry Christmas Discord" she whispered still blushing, she waved goodbye and walked inside
Discord just stood there, then Applejack, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash walked out and saw Discord
"What's with Discord?" asked Applejack
"It looks like he's been struck by cupid's arrow" sighed Rarity, she was a big fan of romance, Discord then fell over with a loud thump
Discord was pacing, he didn't know what to do, yesterday, he had kissed Fluttershy, but was it because.......she liked him? NO NO, they were under mistletoe, she probably felt that she had to do it, so she just held her breath and took the plunge, half of him didn't want to believe it, but it was probably just the truth, he had wanted to bring her flowers to apologize about the recent events, he had just figured out that the mistletoe was there because of HIM, it seemed impossible, but random things out of the ordinary always happened depending on his desires, whenever he saw a bird, it would turn pink and grow a pigtail, whenever he was thirsty, a glass of chocolate milk would appear, he didn't know the cause of this, but all he knew was that he wanted to say he was sorry.
he knocked on her door, bouquet in hand, and sweating, before he knew it, Fluttershy opened the door
"O-Oh,....D-Discord, what a surprise," she said blushing
"hello,.....listen, I'm sorry about what happened last night, I don't know how the mistletoe got above our heads" he lied about the last part
"I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable, so,.......I got you these to apologize" he said holding out the bouquet,
"Discord these are beautiful,......but how did you know these would make me feel better?"
"Lucky guess" he answered "Thank goodness for the internet" he thought
"D-Do you want to come in?" she asked
"I would like to see your room," he said walking in
Discord looked around, he was shocked, how could she afford all this?
"My grandmother was a countess" replied Fluttershy
"Oh" said Discord, not realizing he was talking out loud
"Then my parents inherited the fortune, and now I have it"
"Well,.....where are your parents?"
at this Fluttershy dropped the vase, it would have shattered if Discord hadn't caught it
"They're,........th-they're not here anymore," she said shakily
"You mean they,........"
Fluttershy nodded, "It happened to my father when I was eight, then ten years later, my mother..." Fluttershy found and empty bucket on the floor, she kicked it slightly
"Ah," Said Discord
Fluttershy bit her lips trying to hold back the tears
"I thought maybe it was too soon," Fluttershy said
"Hmm?"
"I maybe it was too soon to get you a Christmas present, I mean, I don't know you that well,.....I actually considered waiting till next Christmas"
Discord chuckled "Really? So did I"
Fluttershy and Discord then both giggled
"Fluttershy?"
"Yes?"
"have you named the fox I gave you?"
"Y-Yes, I named her, enigma, because you gave her to me, and well,....your not like anyone i've met,....not that it's a bad thing but,....you know"
"I like it" Discord replied
Fluttershy smiled "Thank you"
"I have to go, but I'll see you soon my dear," said Discord walking out the door
"Bye" ----------------------------------------- Fluttershy sat on her bed reading a book about animals, then she heard a knock at the door
"Who could that be?"
Fluttershy opened the door, she saw someone she hadn't seen in a long time
"Z-Z-Zephyr?"
"Hey there Flutter Butter, it's your only favorite and bestest brother, Moi," said a boy, he had a light green complexion, blonde hair, teal eyes, he wore a teal tank top and brown khaki pants and brown shoes, this was Zephyr Breeze, Fluttershy's younger brother
"Aren't you happy to see me, sis?IIt has been way too long, I just thought I'd Check on my big sis and see how she's doing" said Zephyr barging into her room
"WOW this room is nice and breezy, you really use your money wisely don't ya Flutters?"
Fluttershy sighed, he hadn't changed a bit since she last saw him "Zephyr, why are you here? I mean I'm happy to see you, but why did you come?"
"Well, ever since I became a success in hair therapy, with a bit of your help, of course, I thought I'd check to see what my sister's up to"
"In fact, I've moved here so I can see you more often"
Fluttershy sighed "That's great"
"I know, I know, now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go to my room and unpack," he said walking out the door
"Well, this couldn't be worse," thought Fluttershy
Zephyr's head poked through the door
"Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I hope that you don't mind if I buy some stuff and put it on your card, thanks a million," he said
Fluttershy sighed and sat down, her and her big mouth, Zephyr had always done things without her permission, she just wished that he could learn to ask, but then again, that's what made him, himself, so who would she be to take that away from him? She sighed and then called enigma, as the baby fox hopped upon her lap, Fluttershy sighed, thinking about Discord, he was really nice to her, she just wished she knew why things always had to be awkward between them, she sighed and used her finger to twirl a loose lock of her hair, what was she going to do? Her brother now is in the same apartment as her, she wondered how her friends would feel about her brother, especailly including Discord.
Fluttershy looked out into the night sky from her windowsill, she sighed sadly, she missed her parents something awful, it had only been four days since she lost her mother, ten years earlier she lost her father, she now had nothing to remind her of them, Zephyr might have been her brother, but he was nothing like her parents, not that she needed reminding of course, she just wished that.....She could have something to comfort her whenever she missed them, but there was nothing that could comfort her, not even the animals could. She closed her eyes as she remembered how it was like with her parents
*Flashback*
Fluttershy was in the garden down on her knees, facing the house, she could see her mother sitting beside her father who was sick in bed, Fluttershy started picking flowers into a bouquet, she knew that flowers were her mother's favorite, she walked into the house, then upstair, the door creaked open, Fluttershy took in the smell of medicine and vaccines from the room, she walked towards her mother, who turned around, Fluttershy then held out the bouquet.
Her mother smiled down at her, she picked her up and placed her on her lap.
Fluttershy, startled, dropped the bouquet on her father's nose by accident, he jolted straight up and looked around, as though there was a burglar when he realized what happened he started laughing, Fluttershy and her mother joined in, they then did a group hug, they all whispered softly;
"I love you"
*End of flashback*
Fluttershy looked up at the stars, she remembered one of the two lullaby's her parents sang her mother sang the one she was thinking of, she began to sing
"Constant as the stars above Always know that you are loved And my love shining in you Will help you make your dreams come true Will help your dreams come true" ---------------------------------------------- Discord walked towards Fluttershy's front door, about to knock, when he noticed that the door was opened a crack, then he heard a beautiful sound fill the air, entranced, he listened
"The lamb lies down and rests it's head On it's mother's down in bed Dolphin plays in the moonlight's glow And butterfly dreams of a violet rose Dreams of a violet rose"
It was FLUTTERSHY singing, he should have known, her voice was impossibly sweet, so it was very obvious
"I'll cradle you in my arms tonight The sun embraces the moonlight The clouds will carry us off tonight Our dreams will run deep like the sea Our dreams will run deep like the sea"
although he knew that she wasn't talking about him, he couldn't help but blush

Fluttershy sighed and climbed into bed, Discord sped off, not wanting to disturb her, as soon as he was far down the hallway, his paced slowed and he let out a sigh of bliss, then he tripped and fell out the window, luckily, he landed softly in an ENORMOUS pile of leaves.
"HIYA DISCORD" shouted Pinkie, she was raking the leaves
"Pinkie?" he asked
"The one and only, why did you fall out the window silly? You just could have fallen down the stairs"
Discord got up and started brushing himself off
"And break at least HALF of my bones?" he asked "No thank you"
"NOT ANYMORE" exclaimed Pinkie "I forgot to remove my inflatable stairs"
Discord looked at her, then he shook his head
"BOY can FLUTTERSHY SING huh?"
Discord then remembered the beautiful sound
"Indeed," he said
"Are you blushing?" asked Pinkie, interrupting his thoughts, he looked at her frantically
"N-NO, I-I just-"
Pinkie gasped
"YOU HAVE A CRUSH ON HER, OMG"
Discord put a hand over her mouth
"First of all, you don't want to go waking the neighborhood, and second of all, I DO NOT"
Pinkie removed his hand "OMG, what can I call your ship? Dissyshy? No Discoshy? No" she gasped dramatically "I know, how about FLUTTERCORD?"
Discord put a firmer hand over her mouth
"DONT YOU EVEN DARE, AND FINE I DO LIKE HER, BUT IF YOU TELL ANYONE THIS, I WILL EXPLODE" he whispered frantically
"You got it, low-key" whispered Pinkie removing his hand again, she then skipped away.
Sombra lied awake in bed, he was smirking, thinking that he was too clever for words and that his enemies were so agitated.But this was normal, every night, before he went to sleep he would feel smug about how no one would know where he was, when he knew where THEY were he didn't mind the fact that they knew what time at night he came out, and which streets he like to prowl, but the location of his base would be a secret he would take with him to the grave,.....that is,....if he would EVER reach his grave. ------------------------------------- Fluttershy walked down the darkened street towards Pinkie's house, it was six O'clock P.M, but Pinkie had invited them all to her house to hang out, including Discord.Fluttershy's hearted pounded against her ribs, her legs not too different from a rattlesnake tail; shaking and feeling threatened, she was not too comfortable walking by herself this late at night, due to the last scenario she encountered this late, he heard a loud noise, then she broke into a sprint, ahead she saw pinkie's house, she continued running, refusing to look back, once she reached the door, she opened it, and practically slammed it as she went in, her breathing could be heard, she saw that Spike was sleeping on the rug, and all the guests were there, including Discord.
"Hey Flutters, your right on time," said Rainbow
"HI" shouted Pinke, when she looked at her, then she bit her lip and started sweating, she looked very worried
"Uh, Pinkie? You okay?" asked Applejack
Discord shot a dangerous glare at her,
"I JUST HAVE TO USE THE BATHROOM" she squeaked loudly
"Then you urinate," said Rainbow, knowing that her statement was obvious
"RIGHT" Pinkie exclaimed, she then ran upstairs as fast as she could.
"Well, THAT was peculiar, " said Rarity, she then heard a noise outside the window, she went over to it to investigate
"I'll say, Pinkie never sweats that much," said Twilight
"Maybe,...she's hiding something?" asked Rainbow
"Please, Pinkie? Keep a secret?" chuckled Applejack
Discord started to panic, what has he done?
Fluttershy slightly giggled at the expression on his face, Discord smiled back at her, Fluttershy did the same, then suddenly Rarity let out a bloodcurdling scream.
"THERE'S A BAT IN THE ROOM!!!" she shrieked.
There was indeed a bat flying in the room, but this bat wasn't normal, it was bigger than a usual bat would be, it had green eyes, and it was vicious, and it seemed to be out for blood, it started to attack.
Pinkie just got down from the stairs, she saw the girls and Discord panicking.
"Everyone, follow my lead" said Pinkie calmly, she then screamed and ducked for cover, So did Twilight when the bat flew past.
"Pinkie, why would you leave your windows open!?" she asked in a panicky voice
"I NEED SOME SORT OF ESCAPE ROUTE" answered Pinkie in the same tone
Fluttershy was crouching in a corner, the bat flew over to her and strangely hung right-side-up, looking at her intently
Fluttershy let out a squeak of fright
"FLUTTERSHY, can't you TAME this THING?" asked Discord
"Not if it's a bat like THIS," said Fluttershy, obviously frightened
Rarity then grabbed a broom and swatted it at the bat.
"BACK YOU BEAST, BACK" she exclaimed, sounding stressed the bat finally flew back Rarity chased it to the window, once the bat was outside Rarity tossed the broom aside and shut the window tightly.
"And ah thought th' Vampire fruit bats were bad" panted A.J
Everyone came out of hiding, panting, Spike jumped into Twilight's arms
"TWILIGHT, WHAT HAPPENED?!" he asked "I was in the middle of a nap, and then I heard Rarity scream, IS SHE OKAY?" he asked worriedly
Rarity took him in her arms "Don't worry Spikey-poo, I'm safe, I'm just glad you and the others are too"
Spike's tail wagged, he was happy, knowing that she cared for his safety.
Applejack panted "Hey, ya'll, Ah know we were gonna go to that haunted house and spend a night there since Dash dared us to, bu' ah think we can skip this one"
"Aw come on" said Rainbow "Are you chickens?"
"WE ARE NOT CHICKENS" exclaimed Applejack
"Then lets go" said rainbow grabbing their bags and handed them to their owners, who all groaned and followed, meanwhile the bat was on the roof, it stared at them with it's green eyes.
The girls and Discord made their way towards the haunted house, on the way Discord whispered;
"Fluttershy?"
"Yes?"
"C-Can I hold your hand?.....that is if your afraid, I mean if it makes you feel better, but if you don't need me to, I completely-" he began, his face burning red, he went stiff, Fluttershy grabbed his hand and gave it a squeeze, Discord did his best to hide his smile.
"Yo, We're here," said Rainbow, the group looked up, the house almost blended in perfectly with the darkness that consumed it, it was enormous, the windows had shutters that were full of holes and cobwebs, the house was black with red in some parts, it and the wind and fog didn't make things any better.
"Well, come on scaredy cats," said Rainbow as she walked towards the house, the others followed, as they walked up the stairs, they heard the creaking from the weary wooden boards that layered the stone stairs beneath it.
Rainbow handed them their flashlights and batteries she promised them as she opened the door, they walked inside, they then jumped as they heard the door closing on its own, except it didn't, at least not on its own.
"What?" asked Spike when they all looked at them "Don't want to let any pests or strangers inside do we?"
the others rolled their eyes and continued forward, the rooms was dark, despite the dimly lit candles, the room had a fancy red sofa and chairs, the chandelier had red crystal while being made out of onyx, there was a bookshelf full of books, Twilight let out a sigh of relief.
Rainbow swaggered in front of them
"Okay, we're all going to split up, so we're gonna need partners," said Rainbows
"Can I go with Rarity?" asked Spike, giving Rainbow puppy eyes
"Whatever," said Rainbow
"Oh Spikey-Wikie's my little GUARD DOG, how ADORABLE!!!" cooed Rarity holding Spike in her arms, he tried to hide the hearts in his eyes
"I'll go with TWILIGHT," said Pinkie,
"Yeah, uh-huh," said Twilight, examining the books on the shelves
"Ah think Ah'm gonna stick with Rainbow here," said Applejack
"All right then, Fluttershy, your with Discord"
They both looked panic-stricken
"You two can sleep in the attic, I've explored this house before, so by the looks of it, there's two bedrooms up there," said Rainbow pointing to the ceiling of the room
Discord and Fluttershy let out a sigh of relief, they wouldn't have to sleep in the same room
"Welp, the rest of you find a place to sleep, and I'll see you all in the morning," said rainbow, then she smirked "If you all survive, that is"
The others rushed to their sleeping spots. -------------------------------- Fluttershy walked down the streets in darkness, she had a flashlight in her hand, which was shaking, she stepped forward then she heard a low chuckling, she quickly turned around, there, behind her was Sombra, she screamed but it did no good, Fluttershy was cornered, Sombra slowly approached her, he took a strand of her hair and twirled it between his finger, she looked into his eyes, she felt paralyzed , he smiled dangerously at her.
"Fluttershy" he whispered
Fluttershy whimpered, she was certain what would come next
"Fluttershy" he whispered again
Fluttershy's breathing increased
"FLUTTERSHY" yelled Discord
Fluttershy jolted straight awake, screaming
"Fluttershy calm down!!! It's just me" said Discord in attempts to calm her down
Fluttershy panted, she looked around, she was still in bed, inside the old house, no one else but her and Discord was there, suddenly Fluttershy got to her senses
"D-Discord?What are you doing in my room?"
"Well, I was just passing by, when I heard you groaning, so I went in and saw you were having a nightmare, so I tried to wake you up"
"Why were you passing by?"
"Well, I WAS going to prank one of your friends, but now I don't feel like it, so I'm just exploring this place"
Discord started to walk out of the room
"WAIT" shouted Fluttershy
Discord turned his head in surprise
"C-Can I,.....go with you? I mean I can't go back to sleep, and,....I'm a bit afraid"
Discord and Fluttershy made their way down the hall,....it was very dark, Fluttershy thanked her prayers that they had flashlights.Discord walked forward, he heard Fluttershy scream, he turned around, Fluttershy's foot had made a hole in the floorboard
"Are you alright?" he asked pulling her up
"Yes, thank you," she said once she was on her feet again, she walked forward more cautiously, Discord then heard something hiss, he grabbed Fluttershy's arm firmly, but gently, concerned about his friend's safety.
A cat walked out in front of them, it was a black cat with green eyes, Fluttershy's eyes widened she ran over to the cat, all fear forgotten.
"Oh GOODNESS, your so cute" she cooed to the cat, the cat strolled over to her and purred as it felt Fluttershy's hand caress it's black fur, it then nuzzled its head against hers,....or nuzzled its FACE against hers, Discord walked over, feeling slightly suspicious, when the cat saw him, he jumped out and started to scratch his face
"YEOW" exclaimed Discord as he tried to remove the cat from his face, but the cat's claws would not move
Fluttershy did her best to move the cat but had no avail
eventually, when the cat went for his eye, Discord threw him off, the cat landed on its feet and walked away
Discord panted "STUPID CAT" he exclaimed angrily
"Are you alright?" asked Fluttershy, helping him up
"Yes, it seems I just got SCRATCHED rather SEVERELY"
"Oh dear, your face is COVERED in scratches," said Fluttershy, she pulled out her handkerchief and started cleaning his face
Discord jumped back in alarm
"I'm sorry, if I don't clean the cuts on your face, they will get infected," said Fluttershy, wearing a frown
Discord rubbed the back of his neck
"Sorry, I was just startled, that's all," he said nervously
Fluttershy continued to clean the cuts on his face.Discord did his best not to shudder, her touch was gentle and extremely soft, it was almost as if she was caressing his face.
When Fluttershy finished, she stepped closer to make sure she didn't miss any spots, she then tripped over her own feet, Discord caught her from under her arms, they gazed into each other's eyes, they didn't make a move.
"Yo, what's with all the-?" asked Rainbow when she saw Discord And Fluttershy
"What are you two doing?"
Discord and Fluttershy's eyes landed on each other, they pushed each other apart while blushing deeply
"NOTHING!!!" they said in unison
"Riiiiight" said Rainbow "Anyway, what's with all the noise?"
"A cat attacked me" said Discord
"Well no wonder you have so many cuts on your face" she said smirking
Fluttershy glared at her, Rainbow then said
"Tell you what, since your both awake, how about we do some exploring?" she asked, they both nodded, they followed Rainbow down the hall, they crept for what seemed like forever, until they heard footsteps that they knew weren't their own.
"It better not be that CAT again" said Discord
"It isn't" said a deep voice, a figure walked towards them, this figure reveled himself to be Sombra "It's me" he said
They screamed and started to run down stairs, once they reached the bottem, they shook the others awake
"What Time is it?" groaned Twilight, they all then saw Sombra,
"Questions later, RUNNING NOW!!!" said Pinkie, they grabbed their suff and ran out of the house, they didn't stop until they were at Pinkie's
Discord opened his eyes, he did not recognize his location, the last thing he remembered, was he told Fluttershy's friends about Sombra, with Fluttershy's help, of course, he left out some parts, not wanting people to think he was crazy, then he went home, and went to sleep.
THAT'S IT!!! HE WAS DREAMING, he knew how to wake up, he braced himself as he gave himself a sharp pinch on the wrist, but to his surprise, he was still inside the fog that surrounded him, he then saw before him a dark forest, he didn't like the looks of it, but for some reason, he couldn't turn back, so slowly and quietly, he began to walk inside.He had never been a fan of the dark, not because he was afraid of course, but because he couldn't see, then he saw a golden light, he squinted, he saw three pink butterflies, curious, he walked towards them.
Once he was just half a foot away, he reached out to touch it, but before it could the golden light disappeared and turned into a dark black cloud of hatred and fears; Sombra, Discord would know his eyes anywhere
"Hello Discord, it's been a while," he said smirking
"I INTENDED to keep it that way," said Discord rather coolly
"Aww, and here I thought you ENJOYED reunions"
"What do you want Sombra?" snarled Discord
Sombra smirked "I think you know VERY WELL what I want"
Discord clenched his teeth, he DID know what Sombra wanted
"She's too innocent Sombra, how could you be so careless?"
Sombra's smirk widened"Please, we both know that not even YOU can resist her"
"She'll never love you Sombra, so how about you stop this?"
"She'll never love me huh?Well, how about we make a deal?" =========================================== "So what will it be Discord?Do we have a deal?"
"Why would I ever make a deal with YOU?"
"Because it's the only way I'll stop"
Discord bit his lip, he knew that what Sombra was saying was true, as wicked as he was, he loved deals, so he would never cheat, he sighed
"Fine" he held out his hand and shook Sombra's
"Remember Discord, you only have by the end of the month" Sombra cackled as he disappeared into the shadows
Discord's face softened, he cursed himself What has he done? ========================================== Fluttershy sat down, feeling scared, when she felt a hand on her shoulder, she turned around, it was Discord, he was smiling at her, she smiled back at him, she stood up, but as she looked at him, Discord smiled evilly and revealed himself to truly be Sombra, she ran until she came to a door, without hesitating, she opened the door, she ran inside, and closed it behind her, she panted loudly, she waited to hear the sound of the door pounding, but it never came, she turned around and opened the door a crack, Sombra jumped out at her.
Fluttershy screamed as she looked around her, but then stopped, it was just another nightmare, but it felt so real, she wished that Discord was here, she thought that maybe Discord could calm her down, she wished he could whenever she was afraid, she then blushed at the thought, why did she feel so nervous when she thought of him?She wished she could just ignore it, but she couldn't.
The next day, Fluttershy invited Discord over for tea, then the next day and repeat, sometimes he wold invite her over to his house for tea, they have grown closer, Discord would tell her jokes, and all his funny stories, and every now and then he would accidently compliment her, he would always curse himself afterwards, Discord had become more sadder as he saw her, despite the fact that he knew that she would never,.......... anyways, one day, he had invited her over for tea, but he had taken it too far.
Discord sat on his couch, waiting for his friend to arrive, then he heard a knock on the door, he answered it, and smiled as he saw Fluttershy's face,
"Hello dearest," he said
"Good morning Discord," said Fluttershy, she walked in and sat on her usual spot on the couch
"So, how's my best friend doing today?"
"I'm fine,......can I tell you about something?" she asked nervously
"Anything Fluttershy" replied Discord
"Well, I once had this dream,......and well,....I think you might be able to tell me what it means"
Discord at first said nothing then he said "Please continue"
"Well,...I was sitting on a bench, feeling scared, then I felt a hand on my shoulder, I turned around and it was you-"
Discord dropped his kettle, she was dreaming about HIM? he blushed a deep wine red, but Fluttershy didn't notice
"And,.....you were smiling at me, but then you turned into Sombra and started chasing me, I hid behind a door, but when I peeked out, he got me, do you think it might mean something?"
Discord stood there,....nervous, she couldn't know that he and Sombra made a deal, it would put her safety in danger
"Um,.....no, it's just your fear of him," said Discord, he put her hands in his, they were warm
"But don't worry, I won't let him hurt you"
Fluttershy blushed
"Thank you,.....I'm really glad I have you there for me"
Discord smiled
"Fluttershy?"
"Yes?"
"I was just wondering,.....would you mind if I,.....maybe,....took you out for dinner?"
Discord slapped a hand over his mouth
"Sure," said Fluttershy
"Um,....great,....when?"
"Well, I'm free tomorrow"
"Sound great, see you then," said Discord as Fluttershy walked out the door, once she closed it Discord banged his head against the wall,
CURSE HER SURPASSING BEAUTY AND MY IDIOTIC SUBCONSCIOUS he scolded himself. ------------------------------------ Fluttershy walked into her room, a smile on her face, she saw Angel, she picked up the rabbit and hugged him tightly, Angel just stared at her confused.
A few hours later, there was a knock on her door, she answered it
"Hi Rarity"
"Hello Darling," said Rarity walking in, she was carrying an enormous box.
"How many are there?"
"Well, I'd say about,......Twelve dresses in total"
"Oh my," said Fluttershy, suddenly Pinkie burst into the room, dressed in a pink bunny costume, and carrying a basket full of eggs
"HAPPY EASTER" she exclaimed, she then gave Rarity and Fluttershy twenty eggs each and went out the door, Fluttershy put her eggs on her table, and Rarity put hers beside Fluttershy's.
"Right,........anyways, let's get you ready," Rarity said with a smile ---------------------------------------- Fluttershy was wearing an outfit that looked an awful lot like Rarity's except in green and pink
"Too-self-absorbed"
Fluttershy came out behind her dressing screen door wearing a dress, that was very itchy, and it had a bustle
Rarity let out a scream as she made attempts to get it off her
Fluttershy came out wearing a dress that seemed to be made out of nothing but gems
"Too blingy"
Fluttershy came out wearing a dress that was rather,......see through
"Too exposing," said Rarity covering her eyes
Fluttershy came out wearing a dress that was covered in leopard spots,
Rarity went over to Fluttershy apologizing and trying to make her stop crying
Fluttershy came out wearing a rock punk's outfit
"Too out of character"
Fluttershy tried on several other dresses until there was only one more left
"Now darling, I brought this one just in case, it's the most expensive dress I have ever made, it took me an entire year to make this one, but since your my friend, it's free"
Fluttershy went behind the dressing screen door, a minute later, she came out, Rarity let out a gasp
"IT'S PERFECT"
"Thank you for the dress Rarity
"No problem dear," said Rarity placing the other dresses in the box and carrying them out, along with her eggs
Fluttershy watched the time as she got ready, she showered, used an expensive lotion, and sprayed herself with perfume.She then brushed her teeth, used mouthwash, and popped a peppermint into her mouth, she brushed her hair to get rid of all the loose strands, she made sure she used shampoo and conditioner in the shower, she then opened her closet, and took out the dress. --------------------------------- Discord paced outside Fluttershy's door, in a suit, and wearing a black tuxedo, it had cufflinks and a red bowtie, he was holding a bouquet of pink roses and sweating.
"You just HAD to ask her out to dinner, didn't you Discord?" he scolded himself "Now thanks to you, she's-" he interrupted himself
"No, too late to turn back now, besides, she's just within your reach, maybe things will turn out fine" he took a deep breath and knocked on the door.
"Coming," said Fluttershy's voice behind the door, Discord jumped on the inflatable stairs and went outside, where he would see her, he then waited, whispering for what seemed like hours "You can do this, you can do this, you can-"
"Discord?"
Discord turned around, then his jaw dropped as he looked at Fluttershy, she was overflowing with beauty
Discord spoke gibberish, then he got ahold of himself and said "Yes,.....Yo-you're so,.......Divine"
Fluttershy blushed "Thanks, you look nice"
Discord cleared his throat and handed her the bouquet
"For you darling"
"These are beautiful, thank you" Fluttershy took them in her hands and called a group of birds
"Could you please take these to my room and put them in a vase?"
the birds chirped in response and took one flower each carefully in their beaks and flew to Fluttershy's room through the window.
"Shall we?" asked Discord holding out his hand, Fluttershy took it and let Discord lead the way, Discord told her to close her eyes, once she did, he secretly snapped his fingers and they appeared in front of an enormous castle, that he had made for himself, he had turned it a dull pink for his friend, everything inside was already set up.
"Okay you can open them"
Fluttershy let out a gasp as she looked herself, she had never seen a castle before, it was beautiful.
"Discord, how did you arrange this?"
"I know a guy" he lied he held out an arm, which she took, and lead them inside, he took his friend into the dining room, he held a chair for her, she smiled at him, he smiled back, he sat at the side opposite from her, Fluttershy dug into her salad, her smile widened, it was delicious.
"Discord this is amazing!!!" exclaimed Fluttershy
"Yes, it is, I hoped you'd like it"
"I do, I really do"
they ate the rest of their meal in silence, then when the both finished, Discord took Fluttershy's hands and lead her to the ballroom, it was breath-taking, the ceiling was see through glass, that showed the stars above, the floor was made of marble, and there was a magnificent crystal chandelier, and there was a balcony, there were gorgeous patterns along the walls, it was a wonderful sight.
Discord bowed while Fluttershy curtsied, Discord took Fluttershy's right hand in his left, and wrapped his free arm around her waist, Fluttershy grasped the same arm, as they glided across the floor, Discord was surprisingly skillful on his feet, and so was Fluttershy, Discord's grip slightly tightened on her, but she didn't notice.
Fluttershy gazed into Discord's eyes, they were beautiful once you got used to them, she smiled softly, while her heartbeat increased, she rested her head against his chest, willing enough to fall asleep in his arms, Discord blushed, he ran the tips of his fingers softly through her hair, how he wanted this moment to last forever, but knowing it couldn't, he lead her outside and sat down on the edge of the balcony
"That was amazing," said Fluttershy softly
"As are you Fluttershy" he replied just as quiet
"Discord,....I wanted to thank you, this was perfect, everything was"
"Only the best," said Discord smiling nervously, she was awfully close
"I'm really glad your my friend when I'm with you, I feel like,....I'm so much more than I really am"
"I'm glad too, when I'm with you, I feel like,....I'm not a freak"
"but your not, Your so much more than that, I see so much more in you"
"Well,....your the first darling"
Fluttershy's eye's sparkled, she closed them and started to lean forward, Discord started to do the same.Fluttershy's nose almost touched his, when she felt her lips being covered by a hand, she opened her eyes, much to her horror, it was Discord's, he quickly stood up
"I'm Sorry Fluttershy, I can't do this"
"W-What?"
"Believe me, I DESPERATELY want to, but I can't, it would put your safety in jeopardy"
"What do you mean it would put my safety in jeopardy?"
"Sombra and I gambled okay?'
"W-What?"
"We gambled that you wouldn't fall in love with me, I told Sombra you would never love him, well, we used to be like clones, exactly the same, so he wanted to prove my statement true with me I'm sorry, but I can't let you love me"
"But, then why did you go on this date with me?"
"It was my feelings getting the best of me, but I can't, and I won't let you love me"
Fluttershy slowly felt her heart break, he used her in gambling?How could he?
"W-Why did you do this?"
"Because I-"
Fluttershy ran off the balcony and out of the ballroom, tears flooding down her cheeks
"Because I love you" he whispered after he heard the ballroom door slam shut
Discord sat there, not saying a word, it started to rain, but he didn't care, he softly sang
"I was the one who had it all, I was the master of my fate"
he slowly moved his hand across the balcony rail
"I never needed anybody in my life I learned the truth too late"
he put his hands over his heart
'I'll never shake away the pain"
he closed his eyes, but the image of her in her dress still remained
"I close my eyes but she's still there"
his hands clenched into fists
"I let her steal into my melancholy heart It's more than I can bear"
Discord grasped the rail of the balcony, with both of his hands
"Now I know she'll never leave me Even as she runs away She will still torment me Calm me, hurt me Move me, come what may"
Discord's every syllable trembled with pain
"Wasting in my lonely tower Waiting by an open door I'll fool myself, she'll walk right in And be with me for evermore"
Discord pounded a fist on the railing
"I range against the trials of love I curse the fading of the light Though she's already flown so far beyond my reach She's never out of sight. Now I know she'll never leave me"
Discord saw Fluttershy run out the castle door
"Even as she fades from view She will still inspire me Be a part of everything I do Wasting in my lonely tower Waiting by an open door I'll fool myself, she'll walk right in And as the long, long nights begin I'll think of all that might have been Waiting here for evermore"
Fluttershy sat on her bed, her heart aching, how could he do this to her? She thought that they,....... she picked up a red rose from the bouquet Discord gave her after Christmas, she then remembered her father's lullaby, it was sad, but it was nice, Fluttershy walked towards the window, looking at the stars above her
"Everything is changing You're looking for the cure And you feel like you're The loneliest girl in the world"
Fluttershy looked at the rose and thought of Discord
"Trouble in your head now Don't know what to do Seems like up is down And red is blue"
a tear fell down her cheek and landed on the rose, it turned blue
"Red is blue"
Fluttershy looked up at the sky
"Red is blue." ------------------- Discord sat in his room, looking out the window, feeling wistful, he remembered his time he had with her
"Remember when we started Days when all was fun All that we could make When time, was young"
He lowered his head
"Now it's getting longer, Nothing feels the same You can't even make Sense of your own name"
Discord's red irises turned blue
"Because red is blue Doesn't make much sense But red is blue Messing with your head now Red is blue, ohhh ohhh ahhhhhh oh-oh-oh ohhh ohhh ahhhhhh oh-oh- oh"
Discord remembered all those times they had together, Discord saved Fluttershy from that brute, the talk they had on the windowsill, the Christmas party, the gifts, the kiss, the chats, the tea parties,....the date, now it was all gone. ----------------------------------------------- Fluttershy closed her eyes after remembering all that they had been through, now, it was all gone, Fluttershy gazed out the window once again
"In your heart There's a room where you lock away All the times and the things that they said And now red is blue"
Fluttershy saw a shooting star
"What was near is far now, Red is blue" ------------------------------------------------ Discord saw a falling star, he hid his face in his hands as he trembled and felt the tears race down his face
"Like a fallen star And red is blue, oh-oh-oh ahhhhhh oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh ahhhhhh oh-oh-oh"
Discord wept into his hands, he then stopped, he heard a cackle behind him, he turned around, there stood Sombra
"What's with the smirk?" snapped Discord "You lost"
Sombra chuckled "Poor naive Discord, I didn't think you'd be aware"
"What are you talking about? It's the end of the month, she doesn't love me"
Sombra laughed "that's what YOU think" he walked closer
"But there's one thing you don't know"
Sombra looked Discord in the eyes
"She still loves you"
Discord's eyes dilated
"W-What?"
"She still loves you, now matter what you do, but she doesn't think your coming back, which means....."
Sombra used his dark magic to drain every ounce of magic Discord had
Discord stood there, on his hands and knees, he lost his magic, and he had lost a bet to Sombra, he didn't know what to do, then, from the corner of his eye, he saw a cell phone, it was Fluttershy's she had accidently left it behind. ---------------------------- Applejack walked into Twilight's room when she stopped, she saw Twilight and Rarity tied up, and a bunch of kids running around
"Well, Rarity and I were SUPPOSED to be watching these kids, but then the found some rope, we underestimated their strength, and we can't move" said Twilight
"Uh,....Ah think y'all need some help"
"Well, we DID have some help thank you very much," said Rarity rather coolly
"YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" sang a high pitched voice across the room with some music
"I'LL TELL you what I want, what I really really want" sang Pinkie, who was wearing a pair of black sunglasses, while Rainbow held up her phone and played some music
"BUT THEY BETRAYED US!!!" shouted Rarity and Twilight in unison
"SO TELL me what ya want what ya really really want" Sang Sweetie Belle
"Okay, Ah'll try to help, but ah don't wanna get tied too, so ah'll have to be careful"
"I wanna, I wanna, I wanna, I wanna, I really, really REALLY wanna zig-ah-zig-ah" sang Pinkie as she ran over to Applejack, suddenly the music changed to "Awesome as I wanna be"
"Hey, what gives?" asked Sweetie Belle, disappointedly
"Sorry, it's my ringtone, hang on I'm getting a call," said Rainbow, she pressed the green button on her phone, put it to her ear and said;
"Yo?"
Rainbow heard Discord's voice through the receiver
"Discord? How did you get you get my number?"
"This is Fluttershy's phone?" Rainbow gasped "DID YOU STEAL IT FROM HER?"
"Okay,"
"WOAH WOAH, slow down!!! What about Fluttershy?"
as Rainbow listened, her face became more and more pale, then when Discord hung up, she dropped her phone on a pillow absent-mindedly
the kids all looked at Rainbow Dash
"Kids, Go to bed, now," said Rainbow, the kids didn't hesitate
Applejack untied Twilight and Rarity, while Pinkie helped her, the four ran over to Rainbow Dash
"Dash? What is it?" asked Applejack
"Flutters is in trouble"
"Why?" asked Rarity worriedly
for a long time, Rainbow said nothing, then she said "Sombra" ----------------------------------- Fluttershy sat in bed, holding Enigma, it had been six hours since she left Discord, she wished that he was here, despite what happened, she silently prayed that Discord would come back, then she sighed
"Who am I kidding? No one can hear me"
she closed her eyes
"I can hear you," said a voice, Fluttershy's head shot up in fear, her pupils shrank as she saw him, she tried to scream, but her voice seemed to be stuck, she closed her eyes as she felt a dark cloud of shadows consume her. ----------------------------------- Discord ran up the stairs, with the girls struggling to keep up with him, he then ran to Fluttershy's room, he looked around in horror, the room was in shambles, and Fluttershy was gone without a trace.
"We're too late," said Twilight in a panicked voice.
".....Maybe not"
"What?" said all the girls in unison
"I think I know where his base is"
"Well, where is it?" asked Rainbow
"The haunted house, when me and Fluttershy were walking down the hallway in the attic, I thought I saw a door, that's when the cat attacked me, maybe it's behind that door"
"Then what are we waiting for?" asked Rainbow "Let's go" ---------------------------------------------- Fluttershy's eyes fluttered open, she was in a chair, tied up, she tried to move, but she couldn't
"Lovely, you finally have awakened from your sleep"
Fluttershy whimpered as she saw a pair of scary eyes look intently at her in the darkness
Sombra walked closer and trailed his hand along her cheek, Fluttershy shivered, his touch was stone cold
"Why, just some love of course"
"What?!"
"You heard me dearest, I want you to love me, just say the words, and I'll untie you, but until then,...."
Fluttershy's heartbeat fought to burst out of her chest,
"How could I love you? You used me as some sort of dice in gambling"
"But so did Discord,.....how foolish of him, he tried to stop you from loving him so I wouldn't win this bet, but he was unaware that you still loved him"
"So that's why,......" a tear trailed down her cheek
Sombra held her chin in his hand, he grinned sinisterly
"My my, aren't you something beautiful?"
"Why?"
Sombra looked at her
"I beg your pardon?"
"Why? Why do you want Discord dead? why do you loathe him?"
"Well my dear, it's actually the other way around. When we were children, we used to be good friends, you would've thought we were brothers, then came the day, when I had lost my parents, they died from surpassing sickness, I was angry, the world turned it's back on me, I wanted revenge. I started having these powers, one day we went to an amusement park, where Discord met HER
"Her?"
"Yes,....her name was Celestia, he fell in love with her, I told him that love makes you weak, but he never listened, years passed, until we became adults, he still loved her, so, while he was sleeping, I looked for Celestia, when I found her, I destroyed her life, she was an orphan so no one knew, she had a sister, but she lived far away, regardless, I destroyed her as well, and then, to make sure that he had no one else to love in life,I destroyed his parents, it was easy since they were both sleeping, but I had forgotten to be quiet, so Discord found me there, he asked me what I had done, I simply answered that I killed Celestia and his parents, he asked me why, I answered "Because love makes you weak" I told him to join me, but he refused, and he fought me with these chaotic powers that almost came out of nowhere, I was very close to beating him, but he had prevailed,......I swore revenge, and discord made a vow to never fall in love again because he didn't want anyone else, or him to be hurt like that again, and so he kept this vow.
Sombra chuckled
"That is,....until YOU came along"
Fluttershy's cheeks were moist from the tears that fell down her face while Sombra revealed his horrible past
"Th-That still doesn't explain why you need me"
"Well, at first, you had nothing to do with this, I just wanted to scare you, and maybe later capture you, but then Discord met you, and I had this plan, didn't you wonder about the bat? Or that cat?"
"TH-THAT WAS YOU?!"
"Indeed"
"What are you exactly? A hybrid? A vampire?"
"Neither, I just have the power to shape shift, as long as it's a creature that blends in with the night"
Sombra trailed his finger from the underside of her ear, to under her chin
"So, now that I've answered your question, gorgeous, I think it's only fair that you answer mine, do you agree to love me? Or not?"
Fluttershy sat there, her expression, not a Kentucky dime less than frightened. ---------------------------------------- Discord and the girls ran up the stairs of the house, Discord grabbed his Flashlight and looked around then he saw the door, but it was boarded up, he started to move the items that blocked it
"Hey, watch where you throw that stuff!" exclaimed rainbow after a lamp almost hit her
"I don't have time for that, I need to get to her"
"I?" asked Rainbow
Discord sighed and turned around
"isn't it obvious to you?"
the others looked at Discord, Pinke shook like a triggered bomb until she exploded
"HE LIKES HER, HE LIKES-NO-LOVES HER, OKAY? HAPPY NOW? BECAUSE I'M PERSONALLY RELIEVED"
the others looked at pinkie, their jaws wide open
"How long have you known?" asked Twilight
"Ages" answered Pinkie
"Why didn't YOU tell us?" asked Rainbow to Discord
"Because.......I didn't want to admit it"
"Why?"
"THIS IS A STORY FOR ANOTHER TIME" exclaimed Discord as he resumed to toss objects out of the way, as soon as he began to remove the hundredth item, the objects moved out of the way by themselves and a figure in a cloak opened the door, the figure motioned them inside, they cautiously followed, they were lead into a cellar, where the figure removed its hood, Discord's eyes widened
"R-Radiant Hope?"
"Yes Discord, it's me, and I need your help"
"Who in the world is this?"
"This is Radiant Hope, she used to be an item with Sombra, until he turned evil, and turned her into his slave" explained Discord
"Yes,......I heard everything you said, and I want to help you, as long as you help me,....please,.....help me bring back the Sombra I remember all those years ago"
at first , silence, until Discord said "We'll do it"
Fluttershy looked at Sombra, an expression of fear upon her face, Sombra smirked at her, waiting for an answer, Fluttershy swallowed, she took a deep breath
"I don't love you,....I love Discord"
"Please, he's just like me, a boy like him is a penny apiece, I've got so much more to offer"
"I don't care, I'm sorry but I don't love you, and Discord is special to me, he's kind, he's caring, and he's done so much for me, all you've done is frighten me, Discord's different"
"He broke your heart"
"Yes, but it was because he wanted me to be safe, he cared enough to put what we were doing aside so he could keep me from captured by you, no offense, I know he didn't care about my happiness at the time, but he cared for my safety, sometimes, we have to try to do the right thing, even if it is hard, whether if it's facing the consequences of your actions, or breaking a heart-"
Sombra's fists clenched, he grew impatient, his smile instantly vanished.
"DISCORD DOESN'T CARE ABOUT YOU, NO ONE DOES, DEAL WITH IT, come on dearest, it's either me or no one"
Fluttershy tried to stay brave
"Then I choose no one," she said sternly
Surprisingly, Sombra's smile returned
"I thought you might say that, so I came up with a backup plan"
Sombra held up a knife before Fluttershy's eyes, Fluttershy flinched, nothing, she opened one eye.
Sombra laughed "Do you really think I would stab YOU when it's YOU I want?"
"T-Then why do you need it?"
"Well, I know how much you care about Discord, so I've decided to make a deal with you"
Sombra circled Fluttershy
"I took away Discord's magic since he lost the bet, and despite his strength, without his magic, he's completely vulnerable, so I could easily take him here, and......well, right before your eyes"
Fluttershy's eyes widened in terror
"Y-You WOULDN'T"
"I would" Sombra's grin widened
"However..."
"However?" asked Fluttershy frantically
"If you agree to my terms, I promise, I'll do him no harm.....so now's the time to make your decision, Fluttershy, what will it be?"
Fluttershy stood stiff, how could he do this? she said not a word
Sombra sighed and frowned "Well,....it's your decision,...I'm going to go find Discord and-"
"WAIT" exclaimed Fluttershy
Sombra turned around
Fluttershy took a deep breath and bowed her head "I'll accept,....just don't hurt him"
"You clever girl," said Sombra, he walked over to her, and slashed the knife, Fluttershy flinched, the ropes that trapped her fell, then, for what seemed like the hundredth time that night, she burst into tears. ---------------------------------- Radiant Hope guided Discord and the others to the stairs, they all groaned, there seemed to be a thousand of them, then Radiant hope pulled a switch, the stairs flipped over, revealing a slide
"WOWIE" exclaimed Pinkie, Radiant hope then sat down on the slide and slid down, Discord followed her, then Twilight, then Applejack, Rarity stepped forward cautiously
"How dusty is this slide?"
Rainbow pushed her forward and then went down herself
Pinkie went down with the rest, and of course, her hands were in the air, they all landed on a cushion, then they all heard something else slide down.It was Spike.
"Spike, I thought I told you to stay home" scolded Twilight
"But I'm a dog, I have sharp teeth, I can bite Sombra if I need to"
Rarity giggled, Twilight rolled her eyes
"Fine, but be careful, okay?"
the group continued forward, before them they saw a tunnel, there was an uneasy silence until Pinkie's loud voice shattered it
"Well come on, sillies, what are we standing around for?"
Pinke ran in front of the tunnel
"Scream as you go through" exclaimed Pinkie, she then ran throughout the tunnel
"WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" Pinkie's voice echoed
"COOL" Rainbow then ran through the tunnel,
"AHHHHHHHHHH" she screamed, then her laughing could be heard at the end of the tunnel, along with Pinkie's
Spike then sprinted down the hall
"HEEEEEELLLLLPPP" he shouted, then his laughing could be heard with Rainbow's and Pinkie's
the others rolled their eyes and walked quietly through the tunnel.
Sombra walked towards Fluttershy, he knelt beside her and put an arm around her,
"Believe me, dear, it pains me to see you cry, but you should be happy, after all, he is still alive"
"But I'll never see him again"
Sombra sighed
"I know what that feels like,......I felt the same way when I lost my parents"
Fluttershy looked at him
"You,.....you miss them, don't you?"
"Yes,.."
Fluttershy looked at him,
"My parents died too,....they died of the same sickness,....I still have a brother, but he's not like them,...but,...if you have someone who still loves you, you'll know that everything will be okay"
Sombra looked at Fluttershy, then he shook his head, as though he was trying to clear a thought from his head
"I don't NEED my parents, I don't need ANYONE" he then stood up and resumed his smirk
"So,.....Welcome to your kingdom, my queen" he gestured the throne room
Fluttershy sighed "It's nice"
"Yes,.....you know,...I think that you're looking a bit,....I don't know,....yellow?"
"I'm always yellow"
"Well" Sombra held her face in his hands "Not that your not beautiful, but,...I think you'd like a little better if you were black"
Fluttershy watched in horror as the shadows spread through her skin her complexion turned black, she lowered her head, Sombra softly laughed
"In just a few Hours,.....you'll lose all hope of being saved"
Sombra looked at her
"And when you do,.....there's no going back" ------------------------------------------ The small group walked forward,...then they saw a door,...it looked like it lead to a dark throne room, Hope covered her face with a hood, they walked in, it was like a demon's lair,....then again, it WAS a demon's lair, they explored the room, quietly as possible, Spike then started sniffing a wooden chair in the middle of the room, his ears perked up
"I caught her scent!!!"
"Good boy Spike, now hurry, follow the trail!!!" exclaimed Discord quietly
Spike continued to follow the trail until he found an open door,
"Over here" he whispered to the others, the quietly walked in, they looked around, they room was a deep ghostly blue-like black, Pinkie picked an old photo, she blew the dust away, but most of it got in her nose
"Ahhh, ahh, ahh!!!-"
Applejack put a finger under her nose, they both sighed in relief, Pinkie then looked at the photo
"Wow,...it's Radiant Hope and Sombra" she handed the photo to Radiant, she looked it, she slipped it into her pocket, Discord found another door, he opened it, then he gasped, it was Fluttershy, he called the others and ran towards it, but when he got to her, she disappeared, Sombra cackled.
"You seven found my lair? Impressive, but I'm afraid you can't stay long"
Discord slammed Sombra against a stone wall
"WHERE IS SHE?
"Oh don't worry, she's safe,.....at least for now"
Fluttershy reappeared, but her skin was black, her hair was slowly turning red, she was on her knees, and looked weak
"FLUTTERSHY!!!" shouted Discord
"Sorry friend, but I'm afraid she can't hear you,...her transformation is almost halfway complete, once it is fully complete, however, she will be my queen, she'll never be able to talk again, she will be too busy, trapped in a dark, cold prison of lost hope,...forever"
Discord looked at her, his eyes turned moist
"But don't worry,....I'll take good care of her soul,...and I'll make sure she's as happy as possible,...at least in the darkness"
Sombra looked at the rest
"But of course,..her soul might want some company"
Sombra threw Discord against the wall with the others and surrounded them with enormous black crystals,
Fluttershy looked at the rest, then at Discord, she lowered her head, her hair turned completely red, the only thing that was the same as before were her teal eyes, but Discord knew that he was close to losing her, what was he going to do?
Discord looked around, looking for a way to escape, he then got an idea,....maybe if, he tried hard enough,...he could use a drop of magic to save them, he closed his eyes,... concentrated, and prayed
"Please" he thought "I need to save her,....please, just give me a chance,...all I need is a drop"
Discord snapped his fingers quietly, a crystal disappeared, this small space was big enough for him to squeeze through, so quietly, he crawled through, then after holding it back for so long, Pinkie sneezed, Sombra looked at them, he saw Discord, he narrowed his eyes,
"How did you escape?"
"It doesn't matter, now, release her"
Sombra cackled "Do you really think you're a match for me? our just one powerless idiot,.....all alone" Sombra cackled again but was interrupted
"He's never alone"
Radiant hope walked out, followed by Twilight, then Applejack, then Rarity, then Rainbow dash, then Pinkie, then Spike.
Fluttershy looked up, then in for what seemed like forever, she had a hopeful smile on her face, her red hair, turned lotus pink again, her complexion lightened slightly, but remained still black
"Discord," she said, her voice could bearly be heard, but they still heard
Discord looked at her, he smiled lovingly at her
Sombra growled and said
"So what if you have friends?'
he walked over and pulled back Radiant's hood
"And my slave"
Radiant bit her lip as it started to tremble
"You don't have magic, how can you stop me?"
Fluttershy's smile slightly faded, her hair turned a darker pink
Discord glared at Sombra
"Your magic is dark Sombra, not to mention powerful, but that's only because you have MY magic, without it, your nothing, face it Sombra, you were always a coward, thinking you could run away from your past, but no matter how far you go, you can't avoid the truth, I know that feeling, I tried to run away from MY past, you killed Celestia,then you killed mom and dad, but doing this to an innocent girl,....you've gone too far,.. you betrayed me"
Sombra roared with anger, then he slammed Discord against the wall
"I DIDN'T BETRAY ANYONE, THE WORLD BETRAYED ME, THEN YOU DID, I WAS ALONE, I DIDN'T HAVE ANYONE"
"You had me," said Radiant
Sombra looked at her
Discord nodded as he stood beside her "She WAS there for you Sombra,..... she was ALWAYS there for you, everyone has at least ONE person who loves them, she would always be there for you,....love isn't always easy,...but it's a beautiful thing, I know that because,....."
Discord took a deep breath" I love Fluttershy,....she's so important to me,...I love her more than I did Celestia,....she brought my heart back to life, and lead it back into the light,.....without her,......I don't have any love inside me,......she's truly unlike any other,..and even if she's gone,.. she's the sun in my life, and she'll forever be the source of happiness inside my heart" said Discord
there was a silence until it was broken by a soft voice
"Discord...."
Discord turned around, his eyes dilated, Fluttershy's complexion was buttercream again, and her hair was its natural shade of lotus, her eyes were still teal, she was standing on two legs, no longer weak, she had a smile on her face, and there were joyful tears in her eyes.
Discord broke into a sprint and embraced her tightly, Fluttershy gladly did the same
"I'm so sorry,...I never should have-I wanted to-" he tried to get out but she silenced him with a nuzzle against his cheek
"I love you too" she whispered
he caressed the back of her head, trying to assure her that she was safe
the others smiled,
Discord suddenly clutched his side, Fluttershy gasped in horror, Sombra smiled evilly, the knife in hand,
Fluttershy held her hand against his cheek, he eyes then closed, she then burst into tears her face in her hands, Sombra cackled, then suddenly Fluttershy started to laugh, the other looked at her in surprise, Discord's laugh could also be heard, he stood up and so did Fluttershy.
"What? H-HOW?"
Discord rolled his eyes
"You know Sombra, I don't think you're too bright when it comes to stories,...surely you saw this ending coming from a mile away?"
Sombra looked at him puzzled
" Since Fluttershy was released, the deal was broken, so I have my powers back, I knew you would eventually use the knife, so I turned it into a toy, I just acted, it seems Fluttershy and I fooled you all, maybe we should become actors, what do you think Sombra?"
Sombra stood stiff, Discord chuckled evilly
"Well, I think it's time to end this"
without moving, he pulled Sombra to his feet
"Why so scared? Your old friend and special someone is here, Aww, and here I thought you ENJOYED reunions"
Sombra screamed as Discord drained his powers, he made sure there was not a drop left when he finished, Sombra was on his hands and knees, panting heavily, he had finally been defeated
The girls ran and embraced Fluttershy, she hugged every one of her friends, including Spike, Radiant smiled, then she walked over to Sombra
"Sombra, I still love you, and I'm willing to forgive you, but only if you're willing to change, please, be the Sombra I knew all those years ago" Radiant held out her hand to Sombra, Sombra looked at her then he took it, Radiant helped him up
"I'm sorry,....I thought I had been abandoned, I lost track of what had been important" said Sombra,
Radiant hope hugged him, he returned it, suddenly she pushed him away
"Of course, it's not to say that you won't get a punishment"
"I beg your pardon?" Sombra asked
Hope winked at Discord, Discord then snapped his fingers, Sombra turned into a cat
"Hey what's going-oh no"
Hope looked down at him smiling evilly, she had a spray bottle in her hand
"No, NO NO" shouted Sombra, he yowled as he got hit, he ran, with Hope chasing after him, the others laughed
"Do you think they'll make it work?" asked Fluttershy
"Here kitty-kitty," said Hope
"NO" shouted Sombra,
Discord chuckled
"I think they'll be alright," he said ------------------------------------------------ "It was nice to meet you Hope," said Fluttershy, the others nodded
"Likewise" she responded "Well, I better go catch up with Sombra" she then ran off "I'll be sure to write," she said as she ran off, suddenly Fluttershy asked Discord a question
"Discord, why didn't you tell us you had powers?"
"I didn't want you all to think I was crazy, plus it was MY magic that accidently caused the mistletoe"
"Mistletoe?" asked the others in unison
Discord and Fluttershy both laughed and blushed
"It's a long story," said Discord
"Well Fluttershy, it looks like you finally got your special someone"
"Yeah" she looked up at Discord "I guess I did"
Discord chuckled, the others made up reasons to leave, they then zoomed away, Discord wrapped an arm around her waist
"I think there's something we forgot to do"
Fluttershy raised an eyebrow
Discord held her chin and lifted her lips to his, Fluttershy went a bright red, but soon relaxed, eventually, she pulled away
"You know, this is the third time I've been happy in a long time"
"What was the second?" asked Fluttershy raising an eyebrow
"The dance we shared"
"And the first?"
"My first kiss, under the mistletoe"
Fluttershy giggled and leaned in as Discord brought her in for another kiss
