One day in a bad storm in Cloudsdale made by some kind of a magic. Rainbow is left with her dad and siblings which isn't so bad but then he started to date and later got married and moved away. Rainbow dash's siblings then left and did their own thing and Rainbow Dash was left alone. That's when she dropped out of school and went to Ponyville where she is now. Something happens and someone comes back and rainbow dash finds out the most interesting things. Rainbow Dash also gets to try out for her dream team. Read to get the deets!!!!!!!!!
Rainbow Dash is upstairs playing with her dolls and her siblings as it storms so hard, it's one of the biggest storms Cloudsdale has seen in forever. Down stairs Firefly has her Wonderbolts flight suit and goggles on about to go into the storm. A little Rainbow Dash came downstairs frightened with her older brother in tow.
"Mommy please don't go, I don't want you to go," Rainbow Dash sobbed as she was being embraced in her mothers hooves.
"I have to go sweetie, but you will always be my little Dashie. I love you," Firefly said, and with that she walked into the storm.
Rainbow Dash awoke with a jolt as someone knocked on the door. Rainbow grumbled as she lazily fell out of bed and answered the door.
"What do you want Thunderlane?!" Rainbow Dash asked annoyed. Thunderlane was always getting on her nerves.
"I was just telling you that you are late," he stated bluntly.
"Oh man I forgot that we were getting started earlier," Rainbow Dash said she ran and brushed her hair. In twenty seconds flat she grabbed Thunderlane's hoof and they were out of the door.
Rainbow Dash is not mad, she is pissed. Princess Celestia has changed the date of the Summer Sun Celebration to the week after tomorrow, and requested that it would rain today instead of tomorrow. Rainbow handed out the weather assignments for each group.
"So do you all understand what you need to do?" Rainbow Dash asked, in return everyone nodded. "Ok, any questions?" One brave pony raised her hoof, and it wasn't Thunderlane.
'So, it is a light rain and not a storm?" Cloud Kicker asked.
Rainbow Dash thought she covered that everything they needed to know was in the list!!! "LOOK ON THE LIST!!!! IT'S ON THERE!!!!!!!!," Rainbow yelled in an annoyed tone as the ponies scrambled to their hooves.
"Um Rainbow I understand if you don't want to say, but is today the anniversary of..."
"My Mother, yes. Now don't you have work to do?" Rainbow said raising her brow.
"y-yes ma'am." with that she walked away, and Rainbow Dash flew away to make sure that everything is awesome.
"It looks like everything good, so now it is time for a n. a. p."

When Rainbow Dash woke up, it was thunder storming. "I thought I told them Rain," She complained as the hard rain was hitting her. Rainbow Dash flew up to the cloud and tried to stop it. Rainbow Dash was bamboozled this must not be a normal storm, it almost seems like the storm 10 years ago.
"SPIKE, Take a letter. Dear Princess Celestia, there is an unusual storm made by a magical essence in Ponyville and I'm worried that Rainbow wont be able to do anything about it. If you know a solution, can you please come and help. Your Faithful Student Princess Twilight Sparkle." Spike sent the letter, and a second later Celestia and Luna are here. "Celestia thank goodness you are here." As if on cue Rainbow Dash crashes through the door panting.
"Rainbow Dash, are you able to stop the storm? I've never seen such a storm before." Twilight panics.
"Twilight calm down, I can't really stop the storm I've tried and all of the weather ponies are at home. Even though I have seen this storm before I can't stop it. "Rainbow Dash said in a panicking tone. "And now everything is going wrong, everything is beyond my control and I just don't know what to do..." She breaks down sobbing.
Twilight comforts her sobbing friend, and Celestia decides to speak up. "So is today the anniversary of Firefly's disappearance, I'm sorry.
"I-it's ok-kay I-I-I-I-I-I've g-gotten over it," Rainbow said. Rainbow heard a faint scream and it sounded like... "OMG That Sounds Like SCOOTALOO," She yells and speeds away.
Rainbow is speeding to try and catch Scootaloo. "RAINBOW IT IS NOT SAFE TO GO OUT THERE," Twilight yells after her friend.
"I-I-I-I HAVE TO SAVE HER."
"SCOOTALOO!" Rainbow screeched, "YOU HERE?!"
"Rainbow Dash! " Scootaloo cried, the orange filly clutching onto a tree, "R-Rainbow! I'm so scared!" Dash bit her lip, her muscles aching as she trudged forward, the rain feeling as if it was starting to bruise her. While putting up with the pain, Rainbow marched over to Scootaloo, growing closer and closer with each shaky step.
"... Don't worry, kid.... " She seethed, "I've... got you - " Lightning crackled above them, and in complete and utter terror... Scootaloo let go of the tree. Because of her hollow bones and light weight, the wind carried her like a leaf with its odd and impossible strength.
"DAAAAAAASH!" Scootaloo screamed, her small body being thrown through the wind, "HEEEEEEELP!"
"SCOOTALOO!" Rainbow Dash yelled, "I-I'M COMING!" Rainbow stopped her wings and let the wind toss her after the little pony, the rain on her goggles nearly blocking her vision. Through the iron rain and the relentless wind, Rainbow followed after the orange filly, determined to save her little friend. The wind suddenly tossed the small filly into the town, throwing her down an alley. Rainbow growled, her wings flaring out as she followed every single turn and curve. The storm seemed to play with her, throwing the orange filly into thin alleys. But after much trial and much exhaustion, Rainbow Dash was finally getting closer and closer to Scootaloo. But they were heading straight for Town Hall.
"DASH!" Scootaloo cried, tumbling through the air.
"HANG ON KID!" Rainbow Dash screeched, her single hoof reaching for her friend, "ALMOST!... GOT!... YOU!... " Her hoof was getting closer and closer... and was now only inches away.
But it was far too late. They were heading straight for a collision course for town hall. Dash managed to grab the small filly, bringing her into her chest and clutching her as the wind propelled them like a cannon ball... Dash closed her eyes and shielded the small filly into her chest. Her life suddenly flashed before her eyes. Breakfast with Fluttershy, getting Daring Doo books from Twilight at the library, hoof-wrestling with Applejack at her farm, regrettably going to the spa with Rarity, pranking with Pinkie Pie, teaching little Scootaloo the ropes, being scolded by her mother... seeing her father's smile as he read bedtime stories to her, hearing her mother laugh at her ridiculous bed-mane, feeling her mother kiss her before she went off to school, and watching her mother turn away as she left the house to face the oncoming danger.
Her last words were "Mommy... Help me..."

"Rainbow Dash was abruptly shoved in the mud when she realized that she wasn't dead. Rainbow Dash looked under her wing and saw a frightened Scootaloo, then looked up to the sky. Rainbow Dash was wearing her moms old flight googles the only thing left.
Rainbow Dash say a pink blur first thinking that it was pinkie in the sky but she also saw blue.
The blur rocketed through the air, blowing past each powerful gust of wind and taking every single rain drop along the way. Rainbow watched the strange flying object centered in the middle of town, spinning as quickly as it could in a circle, fighting off the powerful gusts of wind and the bullet rain. Lightning cackled, but somehow it missed the flying creature as it flew around and around, in a tight circle. After a few moments, the blur made a small tornado of its own, and the cyclone continued to grow taller and wider as it spun in that strange circle.
The tornado, somehow caused by that one blur alone, rose straight towards the thick cloud. Rainbow watched, her jaw practically hitting the street as the dark cloud absorbed into the tornado, making it pitch black. At first, it seemed that the tornado was too small to take in the entire cloud and that it was inevitable... but the tornado continued to grow, absorbing the cloud little by little... and very soon, the rain that plowed over Ponyville began to thin out until the small glimmer of sunlight peered out from the edges of the massive thunder-cloud.
Ponies were walking out of their houses, glancing up at the sky to see the giant air-tornado take in more and more of the cloud until it finally had it completely engulfed. Twilight and the princesses were watching in awe. The whirlwind was completely massive, but it was all up in the air, not once touching the ground. And in an incredible display of power, the tornado blasted itself up into the atmosphere, making the dark cloud all but disappear as it rose higher and higher into the sky.
"Wait... " Rainbow blinked, "I... I know that weather technique... that tight circle... that air cyclone... and the wind blast. "
The blur suddenly blasted down from the sky, and suddenly its form came into view. It wasn't a strange, magical air creature... it was a mare Pegasus. Rainbow lifted her goggles and rubbed her eyes as she stared at the strange pony descending down into the street.
The mare was pink, with a blue mane, and two lighting bolts and she had a Wonderbolt flight suit on.
"Weh that was a lot of work, but I couldn't have done it without the turbo spectsparkwormchaser I named it after all of my kids. Firefly flies down where she sees Rainbow sitting staring at her. "Wow that was awesome how you saved that filly from hurting herself." She said to rainbow.
"Firefly," Rainbow dash chocked out, now Scootaloo was looking in awe.
"The one and only, also the most awesome pony in all of Equestria," Firefly boasts.
"Well actually that title is taken by Rainbow Dash," Scootaloo said proudly.
"Wait, Rainbow Dash? that's the name of one of my daughters," She said.
"Well she is right here."
Before Firefly can speak Twilight and the princesses come over. "Rainbow Dash are you okay?" Princess Celestia asked looking back and forth between Rainbow and Firefly that were at the time staring at each other.
"M-m-mom?"
"Dashie? No you aren't my dashie, but you are ," Firefly chocked out.
"Why doesn't everypony come into my castle," Twilight told them as Rainbow tried to stand but couldn't. Seeing this Twilight helped her stand, and they went into the living room. Twilight then suddenly put her mane into a bun and go a pair of glasses.
"Um Twilight you do realize you don't have to replay the seen where my grandma comes back to life to," Rainbow Dash joked as Twilight shook her head.
"No I'm your therapist, since you are so stubborn I am going to have you tell me everything. So let all of your feelings out. I already know that the only person that you let your guard down with, is Fluttershy and Spitfire because they are your besties," Twilight said motioning for Rainbow dash and the Princesses to sit down, but heard a knock on the door and Cadence and Shining Armor walked in, and sat down.
"We got your letter and came as fast a possible. We definitely didn't want to miss this. Oh and Twilight, who knew that you are a therapist," Cadence said glancing at her glasses and note book, and then glancing at the client, Rainbow Dash.
"Why do all of life's forces have to turn against me?" Rainbow asked herself as her mom settled down on the couch beside her.
"Okay so first question. How long has it been since you've had a good cry with someone comforting you?"
Celestia just stared at Twilight wondering how this will turn out. "Why do you need to know? I don't know!" Rainbow just yelled giving Twilight a warning glare.
"Okay next question. What do your family members do for a living?" Now there was tension growing in the room and Rainbow didn't awnser right away.
"Well my mom Firefly was the previous Wonderbolt, my dad Striking Blitz is the co-captain of the Equestrian Royal Gaurd or E.R.G." Rainbow dash stated looking at Celestia and Shining Armor.
"He is my best friend, Commander Blitzo. I never would of thought you were his daughter." Shining Armor said happily as Cadence put a hoof on his shoulder, telling Dash to go on.
"Well my oldest brother Warm Front is a Wonderbolt in elite squadron 4, my sister Sparkling Crystal lives in the Crystal Empire because she is a crystal pony. To be honest I don't know what she does, but I heard she is engaged from Cadence who is her best friend. Storm Chaser, Storm Chaser, Storm Chaser, she is a Wonderbolt in squadron 2 she dates Wave Chill, Soarins brother. We aren't as close as we used to be, um don't know what happened. Then there is um... Spectrum is my twin brother and... Um I don't know where he is, what he does, and I haven't seen him since I ran away! I miss him, I really do, but we haven't spoken in like 5 years." Rainbow is now sobbing, tears are coming down like waterfalls as she cries in her conforming mothers chest.
"Yes, yes good let it all out. I know it can be hard to of see a loved one for a long time, that's how I felt when Shining Armor left. Twilight said with a comforting smile. Shining Armor just looked At Twilight with a blank stare.
Rainbow Dash calmed down. "Do you feel better?" Firefly asked, Rainbow only nodded. Spike came into the room with tea and bisects, and set them on the table.
"Thanks Spike, you can go spend the rest of the day with Rarity." Spike practically squealed with delight and walks out of the castle into the the fresh afternoon air.
"So Dashie are we good?" Firefly asked as Rainbows cheeks heat up.
"No we are not!! Number 1 DONT CALL ME DASHIE! You dissapeared for a fricken 10 years and your asking me 'are we cool!?' Like we used to be best buddies. Believe me I am not one to hold a grudge, but your the one who wanted some 'alone time' for 10 years to think about this whole marrage and having kids thing. YOU HAD ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD, BUT WHAT DID YOU DECIDE TO DO?" Rainbow dash yelled in her face. "Didn't you get married at like 18 and made a big mistake having kids and on top of that leaving and not getting to spend all of your life watching your kids grow." Rainbow looked hurt.
"Look Rainbow, I never meant to hurt you in any way I just-" Firefly was cut off by Rainbow Dash snorting.
" 'I never ment to hurt you~" Rainbow mocked her mother, Firefly scoffed. "Sure you didn't. Mom you left us, you hurt our feelings. Are we not good enough for you? Do you not love us?" Rainbow voice cracked. Those words tasted like bile in her mouth.
"Rainbow Dash! I can't believe you, stop that right now!" Twilight said In a demanding tone, but Rainbow Dash doesn't care. Truth is she stopped caring a long time ago.
"I was clearing my head," Firefly said truthfully. She turned towards the princesses and mouthed the words 'help me' they just shook their heads.
"Yah, for 10 years," Rainbow said in unamused. "Ugh I feel. Kinda. Sick..." cadence rushed to her side.
Rainbow shakes her head "I-I-I need to get some rest and clear my head, I'm kinda dizzy" she said as her vision faided and Rainbow fainted, and hit her head on the cabinet.
"That's going to leave a mark," Shining Armor a matter a factily.
"Shining!" Cadence exclaimed.
"RAINBOW DASH IS DATING THUNDERLANE!!" Firefly yelled In return she got...
"WHAT!!" everypony in that room yelled so the ponies in Appleloosa can hear.
Rainbow Dash wakes up dizzy, like she has a migraine. Rainbow smells the clean smell that she hates, she sees the white walls, and hears the heart rate monitor. Oh crap I am in the Prison called... hospital. The constant beep of the heart rate monitor makes her sick. There was a nock on the door, and then it opened and her friends, and her mother came in.
"Finally, I'm board and I just want to get out of here," Rainbow Dash said in a whining voice, one she didn't want her friends to hear, but they did.
"Don't worry the doctors are releasing you later," Twilight stated with an apologetic look on her face.
"Oh," Rainbow said disappointed. Rainbow didn't want hospital food, she was board, and she had an awful headache. 'Could this day get any worse' Rainbow thought. She was shuffling in her bed. Why is the room white? Why are the sheets so scratchy? Why do you have to wear such ugly gowns? Rarity would think they were a crime against fashion.
Rainbow Dash's thoughts were interrupted by a nock on the door and an overly happy nurse came in. "Oh my goodness who are you? miss happy?" Rainbow Dash accidently said out loud.
It is like she did not even hear her. "The doctor will be right with you~," 'Miss Happy' said as she stared at Rainbow Dash's majestic magenta pools. Rainbow dash repelled backwards because she smelled bad, like rotten apples.
"When was the last time you took a shower," she muttered under her breath as the nurse left. Twilight just looked at her and Firefly gave her a glare.
The doctor, Doctor Stables, walked in the room and started taking notes. "How are you feeling?"
"I am fine just dizzy and my head hurts."
"Well you can start on the paperwork and be out of here in about an hour." Doctor Stables started taking the drip and the IV off of her and she started feeling dizzy and nauseous, but after a little while she felt better.
"So Rainbow, your mom was just telling us about you and Thunderlane Dating," Twilight started.
"WHAT! mom you told them!!" Rainbow said and Pinkie Pie started jumping on the bed.
"Yes Yes! She did, she did!" Pinkie exclaimed still bouncing. Rainbow could feel the impact and then pinkie jumped on Rainbow's hoof.
"OWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!" Rainbow yelled.
"Ops sorry Dashie," Pinkie said and got off of the bed.
The Doctor came in with the sign out papers and told her to read through them and sign. Rainbow eyed the quizzically. Rainbow didn't care anymore and just signed the papers and gave it to the doctors.
"You are free to go, remember stay out of the sky for three hours and TAKE IT EASY!!! We don't want a redo of the last incident hmmm?" Doctor stable walked out and Rainbow and her friends just followed.

Rainbow Dash was sitting on Twilight's couch, talking to her friends, mother, and the princesses and an interesting question came up.
"When are you goin to see your husband?" Applejack asked.
Rainbow and her mother flinch as the room got silent. Rainbow awkwardly shuffled in her seat Firefly, however glanced at each tile on the celling. "I don't know," She mumbled. "Rainbow when was the last time you've seen your siblings and father?" she said quietly trying to change the subject.
Rainbow Flinched so hard "UMMMMMMMMMM!" That wasn't a good sign for Firefly.
"Ya mean ya have all these siblings and ya never even think ta visit?" Applejack asked shocked. "I would be all over my family."
"Yah I want to know about that too," Thunderlane's voice came from outside and he came in. Rainbow Dash was wondering why Thunderlane was here, but she didn't care as Thunderlane sat beside her.
"Since Rainbows Father works for the Equestrian Royal Guard, does him and Shining work together?" Rarity questioned.
"As a matter a fact, I do." Shining answered as Cadence told them it was time to take their leave and the all telaported out.
"Well it's getting dark, c'mon Thunder lets go," Rainbow said and walked out as she pulled Thunderlane by the ear out.
"Um, is it a bad time to say that I haven't had dinner," Fluttershy through out there and everyone just stared at her. "What?"
"I know why don't we all take a trip to Canterlot to visit Rainbow's dad?" Twilight said. Pinkie jumped up and down.
"That's a great idea we came met Dashie's daddy and we can stay In luxury while we do it!!!" Pinkie exclaimed running around and around until she got onto the celling. Pinkie Pie gasped and looked at her friends. "And maybe, just maybe Dashie's brother will be there, oh yes didn't Shining Armor say he was going to be there too? It will be so fun!"
By the time Pinkie finished planning Twilight has already got it set up. They leave tomorrow on the 12:00 train and Twilight has already sent Rainbow a letter, but the fact that Rainbow never reads letters that she sends may be a problem.

Rainbow Dash was sitting in the kitchen as her mother was making dinner, just something quick. Rainbow as pondering and then someone decided to pay Dashie a visit.
"Fine time to see you Dashie," Discord said as he floated around the chair that Dash was sitting on.
Dash rolled her eyes "in... my house," Discord saw that she was clearly unimpressed.
"You and your little hero group are going to Canterlot tomorrow on important business and guess who is tagging along." Discord smirked as he slithered around and up Dash's leg.
"Omg I wonder who?" she asked sarcastically.
"Well ME!!!!" Discord screamed in her face. "Fluttershy invited me."
"MOM! Make a note to tell Fluttershy THANK YOU FOR INVITING MY PERSONAL STALKER!" She screamed in her moms face.
"huh?" Firefly didn't even know what was going on as she put some bread in the oven.
"Never mind."
"I'm going to came and pick you and mommy dearest up and take you to the train station. I will even pick you up at 8:00 to make sure we get there on time," Discord said. Rainbow Dash got out of her chair to make sure she was right in his face.
"If you come to my house and wake me up, YOU will WISH YOU WERE STILL IN THATDAMN STONE," Rainbow yelled In his face. Discord just melted and popped out of sight. "Good, that handles that."
Rainbow Dash looked at her mom and she wasn't even aware that some crazy lunatic came in her house. Firefly gave her a plate and sat down. "Mom seriously are you deaf," Rainbow mumbled.
"So Dashie what's shaking," Firefly said casually.
