> A Guard's CFVY Break > by Moonlit Novel > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Prologue: A Grimm Feeling > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Title: A Guard’s CFVY Break Fanfic of: RWBY/MLP Rating: T-M Genre: Romance/Adventure Pairing: Velvet Scarlatina/OC Prologue: A Grimm Feeling Princess Twilight Sparkle had just perfected her spell to transport items without a pony being sent with it, or so she thought. As she invited the other princesses to her castle in Ponyville. With the princesses came their guards and trusted highly ranked Magicians. Moonlit Novel knew not which he was but knew that the blind mare opposite him was Celestia's most trusted Magician now that Twilight Sparkle was no longer a subordinate, but rather an equal. “Captain, are you prepared to take notes? For surely, if Princess Sparkle has figured out this spell then we will need to get the wards ready so no brigade can teleport explosives into the castle” said Princess Luna and Moonlit Novel nodded, he knew a spell like this had plenty of military applications as well as civilian applications. “Yes, princess” said Moonlit as he levitated a notebook and pencil in front of himself. A little bit into the demonstration Princess Twilight said she was about to attempt the spell for the first time, and before anyone could stop her upon hearing that, she channeled the spell onto an apple on the table when suddenly the apple disintegrated and the spell flew off and hit the Crystal mirror as Twilight flew back crashed into the wall of the room and passed out as the Crystal Mirror started to billow black translucent clouds and shake. After a little bit the clouds stopped billowing out as everything seemed to calm down a bit Princess Luna was the first to gather her wits. “Captain, I want you to check on the human world that Princess Twilight has made friends in, make sure it is alright” she said, at this Moonlit nodded and galloped his way through the portal not even looking back… - - - Stumbling a bit as he stood up in his new bipedal form, Moonlit Novel looked around, he was in a forest that was pretty dark, on his hip was the rapier he always carried, and his body… his body was a caucasian color and his red hair did nothing to hide the pony ears or red horn coming out of his head. And while he couldn’t feel his magic anymore, he could feel something gnawing at his being before his fighting instincts told him to dodge left. Doing so he managed to dodge a large black bear creature with what looked like a white bone helmet and bony spikes coming out of its arms and back, going on instinct Moonlit grabbed the handle of his sword in his new found hand and drew it and stood in a ready stand as the bear, creature, thing seemed to stand there staring at him for a moment before it roared and attacked him slashing left and right with him dodging before a translucent green appendage seemed to come out from behind him and grab the creature and throw it away from him, twirling around to see what the new threat was… he saw nothing. Hearing twigs snap and more roars Moonlit Novel readied his sword, whatever the green appendage was it seemed to be friendly at the moment he started to move forwards as three more of whatever that beast was appeared and charged at him, not not at him. He realized rather quickly they were after the portal and he tried to force the magic to happen, to destroy the portal, but what happened was that several more appendages flew out and grasped the portal and in short work destroyed, not only his only way back, but these creatures way to harm Equestria as well, a fair price to pay to protect everyone he cared about… he decided that if he was going to be trapped her, well first thing was first. He reminded himself as the appendages wrapped tightly around the creatures and squeezed tighter and tighter until the creatures exploded in a mess of fur, spikes, and blood. “I suppose it is time to look for water and supplies” Moonlit Novel said to himself before hearing sounds that were unfamiliar to him a constant retort of sound going against his better judgement, his tactical mind decided to head towards the sound. A little while later he came across four beings obviously young people, not children in the traditional sense, but if he had to guess not one of them had seen their eighteenth winter, and they were fighting creatures that were similar to the bear creatures he had fought, but they were surrounded, and even with their unconventional weapons that were currently keeping the creatures away, they were going to be overrun soon as more kept showing up… - - - Using his guard training, Moonlit ran and jumped on top of a beowolf run along the top of the enemies and jumped and landed in the circle of the young people surprising the leader carrying a minigun. “Just who the heck are you?” asked the girl with brown hair and a slightly red highlight near the end of a rather long set of locks. “I think, we have more important things to worry about for the moment” said Moonlit Novel as he closed his eyes and spread his arms, if those green appendages were his, than this should work. Suddenly up to thirty tentacles flew off in multiple directions and pierced several grimm through the skulls killing then instantly before they started to reach for whatever grimm was close by and started to crush them. Although his tentacles were killing left and right, he was not standing still with his trusty rapier he wove in and out of the beowolves, though one got through and ran at the group, the girl with the minigun let loose a volley of bullets killing the grimm, but also hitting Moonlit unawares. Making him stumble and then get clawed in half vertically and for a moment everything thing stood still as the body of Moonlit Novel fell in two different directions, before the tentacles shot towards Moonlit and wrapped his body up in themselves, for ten long agonizing seconds that the group of young hunters had to fight on their own again, with low ammo and low strength and a disheartened morale from getting their supposed hero killed. As soon as the tenth second passed the tentacles flew off and killed the last remaining beowolves in the area and Moonlit groaned from the ground, standing up as if he had not been slashed at all however the bullet wounds were still there and, not that the fighting was done and the adrenaline was wearing off, was life threatening, however this time the tentacles did not wrap around him, or attempt to heal him. Stumbling to the ground only to be caught by a brown haired rabbit faunus that he didn't notice before. “I hope you are here to take these kids home, angel, I am not worth worrying about” said Moonlit with a strained smile as the girl blushed, “Strange though for…” he passed out just as the hunter that had been assigned to them appeared a lot worse for wear having been forced away from them by stronger creatures of grimm. “Hunter! He’s still alive, we need to-” instead of letting the faunus girl finish, he put a finger to her lips silencing her and pulled out his scroll calling for an emergency evac back to Beacon Academy. “I will do all that I can to make sure this man lives, he kept you four safe when I was forced off, it would be poor thanks indeed to let him die, Coco, status on your weapons?” - - - A month later Moonlit Novel awoke in a bed hooked up to hospital machines, and, he lifted his sheet, yep a catheter, he now had a small bundle of scar tissue where he had been hit by the bullets. Sitting up he noticed something was off, he wasn't dead, and he wasn't in Ponyville, like he hoped, making it all a bad dream. His clothes were folded neatly on the chair beside the hospital bed… after waiting for what felt like an hour, Moonlit hit the call nurse button, tired of waiting and within a few seconds a nurse came bursting in, it was obvious they hadn't been expecting someone to call for a nurse in his room so they assumed correctly that he had awoken. - - - After a month of being prodded and tested, both on a mental level and a physical level, during which time he learned a lot about the world he was in, like for one it was called Remnant and the creatures that attacked him were called grimm. He also learned that the ability he used was called a semblance and that it was odd that he had access to his semblance but not his aura. Also during that month he learned, to his embarrassment that the girl he called an angel was one of the girls he saved, and she had taken to visiting him on the weekends as did the rest of her team, though she usually stayed the longest every night, she kept that up even after he woke up, she was the one that unlocked his aura. - - - “You know, I'll be alright, I can find a job and make a living here” he said one time when Velvet, the girl he had called an angel, commented that her whole team felt guilty about what they perceived as amnesia from practically being dead for ten seconds. “But Professor Ozpin said he’d get you a job until your memories come back.” Moonlit didn't have the heart to tell her he never lost his memories about this place because he had never been to Remnant before… > Chapter One: A New Job > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter One: A New Job True to Velvet's word, a man who went by the name Professor Ozpin met with him the evening before he was discharged… “Well hello, I am Professor Ozpin, I hear I owe you a debt of thanks for saving my students” “I feel it is my duty as a trained soldier to inform you, sending untrained children to fight those monsters alone was-” “They weren't alone, the hunter sent to watch them while they went on their first mission was drawn away by grimm much stronger than the ones that attacked team CFVY” interrupted Ozpin and Moonlit frowned but it made sense, those children, “Also they are old enough to start families of their own, my school is a specialized academy, a college for those that wish to fight Grimm, if you will.” Moonlit's frown deepened but he nodded before standing of the chair he had been sitting in, having long since tired of laying in the bed. “I apologize for my rude behavior, please sit down, I am Moonlit Novel” said the former pony and Ozpin nodded before taking the offered seat and Moonlit, happy that he had put his clothes on as he had, rightly, assumed the people here did not like nudity, walked over and sat down. “I do believe it is time for you to say what you came here to say, I do not believe that you have the time to waste spending it with a hospitalized st-person…” “Ah, yes, I wanted to offer you a job at Beacon Academy, the pay should be enough to pay off your hospital bill, and you will be granted a full scholarship to attend the classes to get yourself acquainted with our world” Moonlit's eyes narrowed and his semblance activated as he stood up ready to flee from the area after getting rid of— “It really has been a long time since Remnant had a visitor from another world, I believe that the last was back when the kingdoms were at the height of their power and peace reigned.” Moonlit froze and his semblance idly waved around in the air around him. “How long ago?” he asked cautiously his eyes beginning to narrow. “At least a millennium give or take a century or two…” Moonlit visibly calmed and 'turned off’ his semblance causing it to disappear. “How did you know? Velvet didn't seem to—” “You’ll find not many know about the old times, and those that do generally have incomplete knowledge, myself included” “Where would I be staying?” asked Moonlit Novel and Ozpin smiled kindly. “At the school of course, it is a boarding school after all” Moonlit nodded before frowning. “Is—” “Room and board is covered, you will not have to worry about any of that.” “What will I be doing?” asked Moonlit obviously wondering what his job would be. “Combat training for some of the newer students, being a soldier gives you a mind for combative scenarios. We have Grimm captured that we can use and we can capture more as needed, after they have passed to your approval, you are free to do whatever you wish to do for the rest of the year. However you will have to watch over the students in your scenarios, as I am sure you know” Moonlit Novel nodded he had done something similar before when he ran training for the Lunar Guard. “Alright, I'll do it, if nothing else I can help make these greenhorns combat worthy, the grimm I fought were weaker than a chimaera. And I lead forces against a rather pissed off dragon before, I doubt there is anything as tough as a full grown wyrm.” said Moonlit Ozpin gave a small smile and stood up and started to head for the door, “one catch though, I want to be allowed to take classes during the week, so I want to run my training scenarios on the weekends” Ozpin looked at the person sitting on the bed the smile on his lips growing slightly. “Of course, you will be setting some time for yourself on Sundays I assume?” Moonlit turned his head towards Ozpin a confused look on his face, “There are these pesky things called laws that require me to give my employees time off, and I assumed you going to class was a requirement so you could be a good professor for my school. You start the day after tomorrow, your employment I mean, your training scenarios start next year so you have time to acquainted yourself with our world, I'll have you placed in with team CFVY, I think they would be happy to have a new friend that is reasonable towards Miss Scarlatina” Moonlit narrowed his eyes but before he could ask Ozpin to clarify, the man left… - - - ‘This is it, my new life, I suppose I should go find—’ Moonlit started in his head when the doors to his transport opened up revealing a smiling team CFVY. “Hey there, hot stuff, I wondered if you would take Professor Ozpin's offer” said Coco and Moonlit rolled his eyes and smiled “Afraid you wouldn't be able to handle yourself without my help?” he asked a mischievous grin on his face and Coco scowled as Fox and Velvet had looks of annoyance and giggles respectively. “No, you must of held out pretty well with as many bodies there were back there, though I could have done without getting shot, a multi shooter like your weapon needs a lot more control than that moment of panic lent to you. I don't blame you, I learned you had been fighting heavily before I got there and were running on low strength, ammo, and sleep. I’ve seen plenty of soldiers with more training than yourself panic like that in similar situations. No, I blame your superior. I have had commanding officers relieved of command for less.” said Moonlit and the looks on team CFVY seemed to be one of surprise. “So you got your memories back” said Velvet and Moonlit gave a weak smile before speaking up. “Why don't I take you four to meet Ozpin with me, there are things I want to tell you that you won't believe until he backs me up.” CFVY looked at Moonlit and then shrugged. The started to walk down the dock and towards the school. “So are you some rare kind of Faunus?” asked Velvet and Moonlit shook his head with a smile. “You'll find out in a bit, did Ozpin make any announcements about me?” asked Moonlit and Coco grinned. “A little full of yourself, aren't you?” asked the young woman and Moonlit chuckled shaking his head. “Apparently I am going to be your newest professor, though I am also going to be your classmate” he said and Coco went wide-eyed, no she had not heard about that. Soon they reached the tower that held Ozpin's office and team CFVY and Moonlit made their way to the elevator only for a woman to stop them informing them that Ozpin didn't want to be disturbed while he was waiting for the newest professor to show up and Moonlit chuckled before giving a slight bow. “Just call me Professor Moonlit Novel” The woman looked annoyed but motioned for Moonlit to go ahead but just as she was about to send team CFVY back to their dorms she noticed Moonlit motioning for them to get on ahead of him. “I am not sure why you are trying to get these four inside the meeting, but I must inform you that they are not—” “I promise you, they aren’t staying for the full meeting unless Professor Ozpin has no problem with it, I just have something I want to tell them that the good Professor can confirm for me so I don’t look like a fool, so please humor me” asked Moonlit and the woman gave a hard stare for a few moments before sighing and motioning for them all to continue onto the elevator. “Just to be clear, Professor Moonlit, you are to respect Professor Ozpin’s wishes, if he wants them out, they return here, no arguing” “Only after he confirms something for them first, then I will not argue” the woman glared but sighed before letting the elevator go on its way to the top of the building… > Chapter Two: Setting The Stage > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter Two: Setting The Stage “Ah, hello, I see you brought your friends, hello team CFVY” said Ozpin and the four younger adults smiled. “Now is there a reason why they are here?” asked the older man and Moonlit nodded. “Professor, could I ask you confirm something for me, and for them?” “Well that depends on what it is, somethings are not meant to be common knowledge” “What I am about to share with them is not meant to get out to most of them, but I do want them to know, because I don’t want any lingering worries about my sanity” “Ah, that I can do, now why don’t you go on and share this information, I will confirm whatever needs to be confirmed” “Thank you” said Moonlit with a slight bow before turning to team CFVY and taking a deep breath. “I am not a native of Remnant, in fact I am not human, or faunus, I am a pony, I am Captain Moonlit Novel, Captain of the Lunar Guard under Princess Luna and her top military strategist and tactician. Suffice it to say, I get shit done when ordered to get an objective” as he said that Fox narrowed his eyes and Coco looked worriedly at Velvet unsure how the girl would take it, knowing that her friend was obviously mentally ill. Velvet tilted her head in confusion, it was Yatsuhashi however that asked the question that was needed to be asked to save Moonlit’s relationship with the team. “What do you mean, not a native of Remnant?” “Well—” “Ah, he is a stranded visitor, a visitor from a place unheard from for over a millennia, from around the height of the kingdoms” said Ozpin and team CFVY looked at him confused. “Professor, you can’t tell me—” Moonlit nicked himself on his rapier and handed his blade to the professor who took it gracefully careful to take the blood sample and put it on a slide. He then deposited the slide into a slot on is computer desk causing it to pop up several screens some of them warnings about unidentified species, closely related to horses. “Now let me put this against faunus DNA, there are a few basic things that all faunus share on a DNA level, no matter what kind of faunus. Velvet, if you would?” asked Ozpin and team CFVY looked worried but Velvet stepped forward. Ozpin pricked her finger with a pin collecting the blood sample and just as he did with Moonlit’s, inserted it into a slide and then a slot on the desk. Typing a few keywords that CFVY caught, and understood to mean he was looking for any similarities. None came up. “Now I know you are not about to call Professor Ozpin a liar to his face, but can you at least admit that I am not like any species that has been on this world in over a millennia?” team CFVY looked at one another Coco pursing her lips, Fox nodded, Yatsuhashi sighed, but it was Velvet that walked up to him and hugged him and then stood beside him, much to the surprise of the rest of their team. “I have one question” said Yatsuhashi and Moonlit tilted his head letting him know he could continue. “We heard he went through many bags of blood while they were performing surgery to remove the bullets from him, if he isn’t like us, how could he handle our blood?” “The magic of friendship” said Moonlit in the most calm and collect voice that caused the group to look at him curiously and hostilely in the case of Fox. “I am not kidding, you will find that every world a pony has been to through the magic mirror has access to that magic, which is capable of so many wondrous miracles that would normally be impossible, most of that blood was giving by people attempting to give the gift of life to those who were on the verge of dieing” said Moonlit and Fox’s glare softened as he knew that was the case. “Well that gift spurred on the magic of friendship to heal a being whose entire being is that of Harmony and not discord and disharmony like these Creatures of Grimm” “Yes, thank you Moonlit, for throwing years of science out the window for the theory that it is magic” said Ozpin, but when they turned to him, the elder had a smile on his face. “Now you being a student as much as a professor leaves me at a predicament, one that admittedly I didn’t realize would cause such a problem until recently,” said Ozpin and Moonlit tilted his head confused as to what would be the problem. “all students are placed on teams, under the leadership of a fellow student, you see the predicament, I hope?” asked Ozpin and Moonlit frowned. “You can’t put me under the command of a student as that would undermine my authority more then it already will with me being a student, and you can’t put me in charge of a group because I am a professor” “Precisely, however, there is a way to fix this, but you won’t like it” “What is this way to fix it?” asked Moonlit as team CFVY stood off to the side feeling like a third, fourth, fifth, and sixth wheel. “You don’t attend classes” Moonlit frowned, certainly that was one way to fix it. “Or rather, you attend private classes by the professors, I have already informed them of the… nature of your being here, at least a version of it, it was difficult to get them to believe a person without foreknowledge of the Creatures of Grimm existence was able to defeat so many and save one of our promising teams” Moonlit nodded. “I suppose that is what will have to happen, we can’t afford to let them think someone was getting special treatment regardless of the reason” said Moonlit with a sigh as he turned to team CFVY. “I was looking forward to spending the year with you, and learning along side you” said Moonlit before Coco spoke up. “Couldn’t he be a full time student the first year? I mean isn’t he supposed to learn everything he can before he starts teaching? Otherwise he will be a bad teacher, no offense, Moonlit” said Coco and Moonlit just shrugged. “I would still need to be part of a team, I doubt there are many solo Hunters in Beacon Academy, save the professors” “No, it is a fine idea” said Ozpin causing a confused look to cross Moonlit’s face. “Congratulations, Moonlit, enjoy your enrollment to Beacon Academy. I suppose we can work on getting your employment after you graduate.” - - - “Celestial Sisters… This wasn’t what I was expecting” said Moonlit as he threw his arms up in exasperation as they walked out of the building, he was still given a professor’s room, and the privileges and responsibilities of a student for at least the first year, and Moonlit planned to graduate after the first year. “I know, but at least you will be able to say you learned something before you have to start teaching” said Velvet and Moonlit shifted his eyes to her for a moment, his gaze softening. Something told him that although she was most likely a good fighter, she did not like conflict with others. Suddenly Moonlit’s eyes moved to Velvet’s ears and he tilted his head. “I apologize for asking this, but are they real?” asked Moonlit pointing to the top his head where the ears would have been if he was her, the team seemed to tense unconsciously although Moonlit ignored it as Velvet tilted her head in confusion her ears twitching before she reached and tugged her ear down. “You mean these? Of course they are real, have you even seen what you look like?” asked the faunus and Moonlit nodded with a shrug. “I assumed it was because I came from Equestria, not because of anything special” responded Moonlit with a level voice a smile on his face and Velvet smiled in return before walking over to him and poking him on the horn with a finger and then running said finger down it making Moonlit shudder. Seeing this Velvet eeped and jumped away a blush on her face Moonlit looked away from her as Coco and the rest of team CFVY looked between their teammate and their new friend. Coco just grinned… > Chapter Three: Preparations > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter Three: Preparations A year later: Moonlit stretched as he made his way to the door, the person there had been knocking for the last few minutes, waking him from a sound sleep. Pulling up the pants he had grabbed along the short path to the door and fastening them, he opened the door. “HEY!” he shouted as team CFVY came rushing into the room nearly running him over. “What in Tartarus?” he asked as he shut the door, they had seen him after a fight with Glinda Goodwitch, which had left him virtually naked from his white clothes clinging to his sweat covered body as she used so many attacks, most keeping his semblance at bay, he had been asked who he wanted to fight. He smiled and without a hint of smugness pointed at the woman. There had been no victor, time ran out before they could finish. But now, Coco openly took in his appearance, and Velvet blushed heavily and looking away, obviously this seemed a bit more intimate. “Nice to see that what we saw in class wasn’t a lie” said Coco with a smirk and Moonlit merely rolled his eyes. “Is there a reason you have barged into my room at,” Moonlit glanced at the clock on the wall, “03:00 in the morning?” Coco smiled and tossed her Scroll at Moonlit who caught it with one hand still glaring at Coco before opening the device. “Ozpin can’t be serious, can he? He wants to send me to take out several grimm?” “Well you aren’t going to be alone, we’re coming along for the ride” said Coco and Moonlit sighed and shook his head. “No” “No? Why not?” asked Coco and Moonlit pointed at Velvet and then to Coco causing he to bristle before Moonlit spoke up. “I know you can fight, but Velvet, and yourself, Coco, have and interest, and an open interest in me. If earlier has any indication. Even if that interest is one hundred percent sexual, it might take your mind off the task at hand, and could at at the most inopportune time leading to one or all of us being killed.” said Moonlit and Coco glared at him through her sunglasses. Moonlit simply frowned at her. “Are you saying you aren’t interested in us?” asked Velvet in a rare moment of confrontation making Moonlit go wide eyed, as this was dangerous territory. “That is another reason as to why you shouldn’t go, I can’t afford to be distracted, I might throw myself between either of you, any of you for that matter. And we know I can survive getting slashed in half, we know I can reattach any severed limb that was cut off, but what if it is a Gryffon? What if instead of slashing, it bites off my arm, or half my body? Okay, the last one was a bad example, that has happened—” “Wait which one?” asked Fox clearly interested and Moonlit tilted his head in confusion before it clicked. “I have been bitten in half, swallowed actually, my Semblance went haywire ripping me out and reattaching my body to its legs, damned Aura isn’t consistent all the time, scared the hell out of the professor at the time,” Moonlit chuckled, “apparently there hasn’t been a death at the school in a while,” he looked thoughtful for a moment, “I think you were out on a mission that week, well it was used as a reminder that anything can happen, and that if my Semblance wasn’t so intent on keeping me alive, I would have been dead” he frowned. “Now I am getting off track, there are too many things—” “Unfortunately, Mr. Novel, they are going” said Professor Ozpin as he opened the door, Moonlit frowned, no, outright glared at Ozpin, the hostility was almost palpable. “No, this is not to undermine you, Mr. Novel. There are far too many to allow you to go alone, if you are incapacitated by such an event such as being cut in half again, they are there to hold them off, you may be able to take on thirty-one opponents at once, but the numbers we are recording are well into the hundreds. And they are already on their way to the village” Moonlit shook his head sighing. “If time was not of the essence then…” “Perhaps you should make your way to the airship, time is of the essence, We will expect you back in a week, but will send enough ammunition for longer, just use your scroll to request more if needed” said Ozpin making Moonlit frown, but he nodded and team CFVY and himself made their way to the airship platforms… - - - “What do we know?” asked Moonlit as team CFVY and he waited to arrive at the village the ship bumped in the air as they hit some turbulence Moonlit a center of calm in contrast to the person he had been before getting on the airship. He had been rather angry when Ozpin had ordered him to accept team CFVY's aid. Which lead to the girls getting an earful, not that the boys escaped his ire, when he was done verbally ripping Coco a new one, he turned to them and handed them their asses when they snickered. Velvet on the other hand was treated softer, much to team CFVY's surprise, but she got an earful that she needed to give a hundred and ten percent so he didn't worry about her. “The village isn't all that big which makes the appearance of so many grimm concerning” said Coco falling into her mission mode as the boys called it, not that Moonlit had ever seen it otherwise he would not have been concerned with her being distracted by any lingering sexual or romantic tensions. “They may be fearing for their lives, and it has led to more grimm gathering to attack?” offered Velvet, Moonlit gave a nod before motioning for Coco to continue. “That's about all we know about the village itself, it is rather new the amount of grimm is concerning, but like Velvet said; it may be as simple as they saw few grimm patrolling and instead of keeping calm, the patrol freaked attracting more and the fear grew.” said Coco, Moonlit frowned, he hated the lack of information. However he will make a plan when they arrived now was time to get some rest before they started. “Go get some sleep, these villagers are going to need us at our best, and arriving with a full night's sleep will do that” he ordered and team CFVY looked at each other before staring at Coco who frowned at them as she headed to one of the bunks. “You heard him, get some rest, and Velvet no hitting on the pony-boy, you get some rest too” she ordered causing Velvet to blush heavily as she scurried off to a bunk and climbed in quickly pretending to be asleep. Something that made Moonlit chuckle before he got up and went to one of the remaining bunks. Obviously Beacon Academy mission airships were built with a team and teacher in mind, that was fine, it suited the purpose of this mission. - - - Moonlit awoke the moment one of the crew entered the room, crawling out of the bunk he stood up and glanced at the crew member. With that one glance he knew something went wrong. Waking team CFVY who was a little groggy until the crew member said they were coming in hot, what ever sleep remained evaporated and the rushed to the weapons’ locker to gather their weapons. “I hope you are ready, cause this time I am trusting you with my back” receiving nods Moonlit nodded to the crew member who led them to the side door that began to open as they started to fly low, grimm starting pour into the village. With a grimace, he activated his semblance and jumped out of the airship, followed closely by team CFVY…
