> Alien VS Predator: Equestrian Hymn > by Mr. Dorchester > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > The Strange Device > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Predator walked alongside his companion, Youngblood. “Can't wait to get home. See the wife and kids again.” Lonewolf glared at Youngblood and shoved him away, “I'm called Lone Wolf for a reason, boy. Now the only reason I'm taking you with me is to show you the way of our ancestors.” Youngblood rubbed the place on his arm where Lonewolf had roughly shoved him away. He then began to adjust his helmet. Lonewolf stared at Youngblood through his mask. A few minutes of complete silence passed. With the exception of snapping twigs as the massive Predators cruised their way through the Earths forest. “So... what is this for again?” Lonewolf sighed, stopping in his tracks and looked at Youngblood, “Since I am one of the Eldest of the Hooded Blades, it is my job to train new comers like you and make sure you keep our tradition going strong. Each clan sends their eldest with the newest Blood Brother so that I may set an example on how to truly hunt. Some day I will die, and you will take my place as one of the Eldest.” “But why are we here, on this Father Planet?” Youngblood asked. This young one has a lot of questions... he reminds me of myself when I was younger. Thought Lonewolf. “With evolution comes new knowledge. With new knowledge comes new inventions... somehow The Serpents have driven their way down here. Also, this is a former Father Planet. Such was decided after the creatures of this planet invaded our sanctuary not too long ago.” Youngblood and Lonewolf continued to walk through the forest until it got dark. “Turn your night vision on, Youngblood.” Lonewolf turned on his night vision and began to scan the area for any movement. He saw something in the distance and motioned for Youngblood to follow him. The object slowly became bigger as the two Predators approached the object. They crouched behind a fallen tree. “What now, Lonewolf?” Lonewolf put his finger in front of his mask in a hushing gesture. He pointed towards the creature and pretended to throw a spear at it. Youngblood responded with an enthusiastic nod. Lonewolf slowly raised his head, and quickly brought it back down. “It's a Serpent. Picking at some sort of human device. We must be careful now, Youngblood.” Lonewolf quietly clicked in through his COM channel to Youngblood. “I want you to kill it. Remember to activate your camoflauge, sneak up behind it, and stab it in the back. Be weary of its acid blood, though. It can melt your arm off in a matter of seconds in you're clumsy.” Youngblood nodded. Activating his camoflauge, he quietly approached the Serpent. Otherwise known as an Alien or Xenomorph. He took out his battle spear, unsheathed it, and rammed it into the Serpents back. It hissed in agony and began to throw it's massive bone like tail in random directions at it attempted to claw at Youngblood from behind. Yet he still hung on strong. “Now take out your disk, and slice the beast's head off!” Lonewolf yelled. Youngblood grabbed for his disk. He shook it violently once, causing the large metal circular contraption to release the jagged metal spikes. He cut the Serpents head clean off from the neck, roaring in victory as he held the Serpent's head as a trophy. “Good work, Youngblood! You have brought honor upon your clan!” Lonewolf appeared from behind the fallen log. “Now, young one. You must mark yourself with it's blood to prove your kill, and bring your trophy back to our leader to show you are ready to hunt in one of our beginning groups. I will lead you, and your brothers until you are ready to all hunt together. Only then until you master group hunting will you be able to become an Elder and be allowed to hunt alone, or train another new comer.” Youngblood roared in victory once again, and snapped a finger off of the Serpent. He slowly removed his mask, revealing his bright neon green eyes and his massive mandibles that covered his mouth. He brought the acid blood filled finger upon his forehead, and marked himself with an ancient symbol to show his first kill. He then marked the same symbol on the forehead of his helmet. “But that was only a minor Serpent, young one. They are easy to kill. But with each victorious kill, you bring more honor and glory to yourself and your clan. Your ancestors look down upon you in happiness.” There was a slight buzzing sound as the machine that the Serpent was looking at sparked. “What about this?” Youngblood asked. Lonewolf looked down, and picked up the strange machine. It looked like some sort of book, but when Lonewolf opened it the device was filled with strange symbols of four legged creatures with wings on their back, horns on their heads, some with none of those features at all, some with both. He studied the strange device for a few moments before turning to Youngblood, “This is a strange device, indeed. We shall bring it to our clan leader as soon as we return. But if it proves useless, we will destroy it.” Youngblood and Lonewolf made their way to their ship with the dead aliens body. Lonewolf punched in a few numbers into the ships hatch opener and the two Predators walked in. Youngblood put the limp body of the Alien on a tray and joined Lone Wolf at the front of the ship. Lone Wolf took off his helmet and set it on a nearby flat surface. “What should we do- LOOK OUT!” Youngblood roared. Suddenly, a massive Queen Alien broke through the trees, knocking them down. She was followed by at least ten lesser Serpents. “Shit. Youngblood, take the wheel while I go up top and fend off the Serpents and their queen!” “But Lonewolf, I-” “No time for debates, Youngblood. We need to get off of this planet and return to ours. The humans will have to fend off the Serpents and their queen until we can return.” Lonewolf grabbed his helmet, putting it on quickly. Youngblood took hold of the wheel and began to start up the engine. Lonewolf opened a small hatch which led to the upper part of the medium sized carrier. He got up on the deck, and readied his wrist blades. He looked at the strange human device still attached to his belt. It had begun to spark and made weird noises again. He ignored it and began to fend off the Serpents and their queen. One of the Serpents jumped up on top of the deck, hissing at Lonewolf. He welcomed the Serpent with a challenging roar. The Serpent charged at Lonewolf, who quickly side stepped and brought his left wrist blade down on the Serpents back. It hissed in agony, and began to dash towards the front of the ship. “Hold still, you son of a bitch!” Lonewolf grunted. He began to charge his shoulder blaster, and fired a weak shot at the Serpents head, causing it to explode. Quickly turning around, Lonewolf was greeted by a surprise attack by two more Serpents. He side stepped, causing one of them to miss. But the other got lucky and raked the side Lonewolf's helmet. He grabbed the dull end of the Serpents bladed tail and began to swing it like one of the Olympic challenges. He released the Serpent and it's tail, causing it to smash head first into its brother. Suddenly, there was a sudden vibration as the ship started up and began to lift off of the ground. The device strapped to Lonewolf's belt began to vibrate even more violently, as a massive aqua blue light engulfed the entire ship, bringing the nine remaining Serpents and their queen with them two wherever the strange device was taking them. > Crash Landing > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The sudden aqua light nearly blinded Youngblood as he shielded his eyes, releasing the controls. All of a sudden, the entire ship was falling out of a bright blue sunny sky. Youngblood activated the COM channel and began to search for a connection to Lonewolf. A connection was made. “Lonewolf, are you okay out there?!” Youngblood yelled. There was a few grunting and hissing and roaring noises before a sudden silence and the door behind Youngblood opened and Lonewolf walked in. He ran over and grabbed hold of the controls. “The Serpents and their queen fell off of the ship. Come on, don't fail us now!” Lonewolf roared. He threw the thrusters up, and they were almost thrown into the ceiling as the ship came to a sudden stop, and then began to fall down even faster. “BRACE FOR IMPACT!” Lone Wolf roared over the sounds of alarms. The ship collided into a nearby snowy mountain, and began to fall from several cliffs before landing on top of some sort of golden and yellow castle. Yet no physical connection between the hard metal of the ship and the bright marble floor of the castle was made. Instead, the ship had latched itself into the castle and had become stuck. Lonewolf released the controls, looking over at Youngblood who was in the fetal position in the commanders chair. “Get up, Youngblood. It appears this device has brought us to this strange colorful world. Activate your camo, and lets go scout the area.” The two Predators activated their camo and exited the ship, landing on the floor with a thud. Before them stood a large white horse like creature with a crown, a horn, and wings. Her hair flowed like it was made of pure magic. “What is that thing?” Youngblood whispered. “I have no idea. But let's keep cautious.” Lonewolf responded through the COM channel. Another horse creature had shown up beside the white one. This one was a much darker shade of blue, but still had wings and a horn. “What are those things?” Youngblood asked. “Hush! We must stay quiet or else we'll be s- DAMN IT!” The darker creature looked in the Predator's direction, and had tackled Youngblood. His camo faded. But as soon as the horse creature saw Youngblood, she backed away screaming. Lonewolf deactivated his camo and ran up to Youngblood. “I'm fine, I'm fine!” Youngblood roared as Lone Wolf tried to help him up. He took notice of the two four legged creatures, and readied his shoulder blaster. “Do not shoot! We are friendly!” Princess Celestia demanded. Lonewolf stared at the horse creatures, “They speak the humans native tongue. We can communicate with them through our translators. Let's try it...” “Who are you?!” Luna yelled. There was a quick click, and distant like static before Lonewolf was able to speak. “We are known by many names. The most common is either Predator or Hunter... you may call me Lone Wolf, and my apprentice here, Youngblood.” Lone Wolf gestured his hand towards Youngblood. “Calm, sister. These beings mean no harm, I'm sure.” Celestia said. “You two are related?” Youngblood asked. “Yes. I am Princess Celestia, and this is my younger sister, Luna. We rule over this land known as Equestria.” “How did you get here, Hunters?” Luna asked. Youngblood looked at Lonewolf, “It was that strange machine we found with the Serpent, wasn't it?” “Hold on, Serpent? As a snake?” Celestia asked. Lonewolf looked at Celestia, who flinched slightly at the sight of his mask and the many marks to show his many victorious battles. “No. We talk of much larger, more dangerous creatures with acid blood and long tails.” He said. "Hang on, let me see that." Celestia said as she pointed her hoof at the strange device. Lonewolf tossed out the device, which had broken in half. The machine landed at Princess Celestia's feet. Celestia picked up with her magic and began to study the two pieces, “Interesting... this seems to be some sort of teleportation device powered by-” She paused for a moment, squinting hard at the device “-plasma...” Lonewolf groaned, “Our ship uses plasma as a resource for fuel!” “And with those Serpents on the loose, we cannot let them spread through this planet and make it their own!” Youngblood said. “What do you plan to do, Hunters?” Luna asked. Lone Wolf faced Luna, “We plan to hunt them down...” Youngblood grabbed Lone Wolf's shoulder and spun him around, “SERPENTS!” Three Serpents burst through the door, a large group of royal guards chasing after them. Youngblood took out his disk and threw it at one of the Serpents. It jumped, causing the blade to slice through one of the royal guards helmets. Luckily he just had a small gash on his cheek. “Stay clear of their acid blood!” Lone Wolf roared as he charged at one of the Serpents. He released his wrist blade and slammed it into the Serpent's chest. It roared in agony, flailing its tail in random directions. Youngblood was taking one another of the Serpents with the royal guards. “Look out!” He yelled. But it was too late as the Serpent's tail went right through one of the royal guards chest. Blood sprayed everywhere as the tail waved around with the limp body of the royal guard still attached. One of the royal guards threw a spear at the Serpent, causing it to go right through it's left leg. It removed the spear, which had melted from the acid blood. The Serpent charged, screeching at the royal guard who had thrown the spear. Youngblood tossed a tightening net which latched onto the Serpent. Causing it to roll up against the wall. It roared as the net slowly got tighter and tighter. “The net won't last for long. We must vanquish it!” * * * Lonewolf slammed the Serpent head first into the wall, debris spraying everywhere. He kicked the Serpent in the back, breaking its spine and killing it instantly. He then proceeded cut the Serpent's head off, making sure it would stay dead. The Serpent broke free of the net, snatching one of the royal guards, and ripped open the guards chest with its tail. He brought the royal guards face up to his, and slammed his smaller mouth into the guards skull, forming a massive bloody hole in the middle of his head. He roared in victory, tossing the royal guard to the side. Youngblood met up with Lonewolf. “What happens now?” He asked. Lonewolf shifted his glance at Youngblood, and charged up his plasma blaster, “What do you think?” Youngblood gave Lone Wolf a thumbs up, and charged up his own plasma blaster. Lonewolf fired a fully charged shot at one of the Serpent's, causing the body to explode. Acid blood blasted everywhere. A few royal guards were unlucky and got caught in the spray, forcing them to remove their protective armor as it hissed. One last Serpent left, Youngblood thought. He looked around for the Serpent, nowhere to be seen. He looked up to see it climbing the ceiling. It jumped down on top of Princess Luna, and began to rake her face. “HELP!” She yelled out. One of the royal guards head butt the Serpent off, but it wrapped it's tail around the guard bring it with it. It was as if it was in slow motion. Only making it worse for everyone to watch as the Serpent dug it's long sharp bony fingers into the royal guards eye sockets, he yelled out in agony. But everyone could just watch in horror as he was decapitated in what seemed like an eternity. The Serpent held the royal guards head in it's claw, faced Princess Luna, and quickly wrapped it's tail around her neck and fled off with her before anyone could react. “LUNA!” Princess Celestia yelled. She spread her wings and tried to fly after her sister as the Serpent quickly sped away through the hole in the ceiling. Celestia felt herself being dragged down as Lone Wolf had caught her with his tough rope. “You idiotic creature! Don't go after your sibling! That Serpent will bright her to their queen where she will become infected! We cannot risk bringing her back!” Lone Wolf roared as he slammed Celestia into the ground with much force. “SHE IS MY YOUNGER SISTER!” Celestia yelled. Youngblood grabbed Celestia, forcing her wings to stay at her sides, “Listen to me! If we can find your sister before it is too late, we'll rescue her. But if we see she is infected with a Serpent fetus...” Celestia looked at Youngblood with tears streaming from her eyes. Youngblood looked at Celestia with sympathy, “...then we will have to kill her before the fetus can arrive.” > Planning > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Princess Celestia sent Lonewolf and Youngblood to Shining Armor and they began to devise a quick plan to bring Luna back before it is too late. “The Serpents will most likely have stationed themselves somewhere in a crowded, wooded area where it is dark.” Youngblood said as he looked at a map of Canterlot, Ponyville, and Everfree Forest. “They might head towards Everfree Forest. Near the Ursa Major cave...” Shining Armor said. Lonewolf and Youngblood's masks still hang on their faces, as their translators were built in. Youngblood adjusted his light armor and looked at Shining Armor, “Or maybe inside of the cave itself. These creatures are extremely hostile and are impossible to tame. It would be a death sentence to take one on in a peaceful manner.” “So what do we do?” He asked, Lonewolf cracked his knuckles, his visor flared green. He chuckled deeply and faced Shining Armor, “We fight 'em,” “Just the three of us?” “Of course not. Just me and my protege, Youngblood. I want to be as stealthy as possible. No assistance. Nothing.” Youngblood pushed his hands away from the map of Equestria and gazed over to Lonewolf. “When do we begin?” “I don't want a hybrid crawling around this planet. Their place is not here, and neither is ours. We will set out when it turns dark to the Ursa Major cave.” Lone Wolf turned his head away from Youngblood and over to Shining Armor. Shining Armor folded up the map and nodded, “Are you going to need anything, Hunters?” “A few throwing spears. That is all.” Lonewolf growled. Meanwhile... Princess Luna struggled against the solid, web like substance that held her against the wall. The Serpents had covered her horn and wings in the substance as well to prevent flight, and use of magic. “LET ME GO, YOU FOUL BEASTS!” Luna roared, blasting her Royal Canterlot Voice as loud as she could. There was a slight hissing sound, and two Serpents crawled slowly towards Princess Luna. One of them grabbed her face with its claws, studying her every feature. It drooled on Luna's chest plate. That's when the Serpent put its claw on Luna's stomach, and began to move it around. “Take your foul claws off of me!” She yelled before kicking the Serpent off with her free hoof. It landed on all fours, and hissed at Luna. She hissed back. The Serpent turned its head towards the other, and nodded. The other Serpent made a smiling face and they both wondered off. Luna put her head down and sighed. “Please, Hunters... return and save me and Equestria from this coming nightmare...” Complete silence before the two Serpents returned carrying some sort of green and brown oval shaped item. It had some sort of four way crease on the top, like an opening. They set it in front of Luna and left her alone with the strange item. She stared at it for a few minutes before it opened. Luna tried as hard as she could to stay completely still, waiting for something to come crawling out of the egg. There were a few slimy like sounds before a big, pale, hand like creature came crawling out of the egg. It landed on the floor, and looked up at Luna. Luna held her breath, waiting for the strange creature to make a movement. But it just continued to stare at Luna as though it was waiting for her to do something instead. Suddenly, the creature sprung forward towards Luna's face. Luna pointed her horn at the creature, hoping to stab it before it could reach her face. > Made To Destroy > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lonewolf and Youngblood halted before the Ursa Major Cave. The mouth of the massive cave welcomed the two hunters as they walked in as pitch black darkness quickly filled the entire area around them. “No need for the translators, Youngblood. Let's just get the princess, and get the hell out of this place.” Lone Wolf said. “Activate your night vision, Lonewolf.” Youngblood's visor clicked, and the visor glowed green. “Mother of Hooded Blades!” Youngblood roared. “What is it, Youngblood?!” “Turn on your night vision!” Youngblood gasped. Lonewolf turned on his night vision, and nearly punched Youngblood in frustration as hundreds of ponies hung from the wall in the sticky black substance. Most of their chests ripped open at the ribs, revealing they have already been infected. “They certainly have grown smarter... catching this much in such a short period of time, I might add. I'm impressed to say the least.” Lone Wolf said, slowly calming down. The two Predators continued their way down the Ursa Major Cave, when they stumbled upon the dead body of the Ursa Major, and the Ursa Minor. Both with massive rakes on their bodies and faces. “They couldn't have gotten infected... too big.” Youngblood said as they traversed through the cave. "Good observation, Youngblood. I am impressed to say the least." Lonewolf said before continuing down the dark path. There was a hiss, and at least fifteen Serpents appeared from out of nowhere. But they weren't regular Serpents. They had the head of the Serpent, the tail, and the apendages, yet the body was much larger, and more muscular. Like a horse... “These creatures... are some sort of... horse! It all makes sense now! Unicorns and pesasus!” Lonewolf gasped. “Since when do you know about these creatures?” Youngblood asked as he readied his weapons. “I've done my research on humans, and their beliefs before becoming part of The Hooded Blades...” Youngblood smirked from beneath his helmet, “Hey, Lone Wolf.” Lone Wolf, spear in hand, glanced over to Youngblood, “Yes?” “You ready to bring more honor and glory to your clan than anyone else has in their entire life?” Lonewolf roared loudly, the ground beneath him shook, and the Serpents dropped from the ceiling, ready for battle. “If we don't live, I'm going to kick your ass so hard in the Second Life that these Serpents themselves will feel it.” Youngblood threw one of the spears at the Serpents, catching it off guard. The spear exploded upon impact, taking out the Serpent. “I can live with that.” Youngblood and Lonewolf charged at the Serpents, roaring as they prepared for an onslaught. Youngblood grabbed two of the Serpents by their necks, and tossed them against the wall. He grabbed one of them, still in a daze, and slammed his wrist blade into its stomach. Acid blood sprayed across Youngblood's helmet, but he didn't care. He threw the Serpent across the room, either killing it or causing it to bleed out. The other Serpent began to slowly get up but was cut off when Lonewolf, out of nowhere, slammed into it. The rest of the Serpent Hybrids chasing after him. Youngblood took out his bladed disk, and threw it at the massive crowd of Serpents. He sliced effortlessly through most of the crowd, quickly returning to Youngblood. “It seems this old boys time has run out, Lone Wolf. Too much acid blood finally got to the blade.” Youngblood yelled as he threw the melted bladed disk to the ground. Lonewolf quickly turned around, stabbing one of the Serpent Hybrids in the skull. He quickly removed the staff, and speared it at one of the other Hybrids. “Don't use your shoulder blasters unless you are forced to! We are going to need all the plasma energy we can get if we are to return to our own planet.” Lone Wolf said as he slammed two Serpents heads against each other. But more and more still came, until the two hunters had become surrounded. Yet the Serpent Hybrids merely looked at the hunters, studying them. “How smart have they become...?” Youngblood asked. Lone Wolf reached to take off his helmet. “The hell are you doing?! Taking off your mask is a sign of surrender! If the hunters back home ever find out, you could be shunned from the clan!” Youngblood roared. Lonewolf stroked the side of his helmet, and began to pick at the pipes. He slowly removed the mask, revealing his humanoid face. He had a massive, deep scar running through his right eye. Yet there was no right eye there, as it was stitched shut. He was also missing most of his teeth, including the lower left mandible. Instead, a bionic device that glowed black and red planted itself onto Lone Wolf's face that replaced his right eye. “Lonewolf, what the fuck do you think you're doing?!” Lonewolf's mouth clicked menacingly, “Doing what I should have done in the first place. Blow it all the ashes!” The Serpents merely watched. Because of their hosts they came out of, they developed an interest in others affairs. A type of evolution “For fifteen billion years we've hunted these creatures, and for what? Nothing but destruction. Is that what we're made to do? Destroy?” Youngblood ran over to Lonewolf, grabbing him, “Think about the others that live here!” Lone Wolf pushed Youngblood away, snarling at him. He walked up to one of the Serpent Hybrids, and brushed the top of its head with his hand. “These creatures feel no remorse, no mercy, no tolerance. It's... amazing. I admire it's purity...” “They're abominations! That's why we destroy them!” “Why did we make them...?” “Because we could, and that they are a good match for hunters like you and me!” Lonewolf turned his head, giving a death stare at Youngblood, “How would you feel if you heard the same thing coming from your creator?” Lonewolf stroked the Serpent's chin, suddenly stabbing it in the head with his wrist blade. It was just an act. The other Serpent Hybrids hissed and fled. “What...?” Youngblood stammered. “These... horses are friendly creatures. These Serpent Hybrids came from them, thus they will feel the same. They are... not as merciless as the regular Serpents.” Lone Wolf picked up his helmet, and put it back on his head. “I see...” Youngblood said. The two hunters continued down the dark cave. I hope you can find the references I put in this chapter :3 > Countdown > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Face Hugger slid off of Luna's horn, as she impaled it with her horn. The acid burned her covered horn, but it didn't matter to her. She had killed many of the Face Huggers that the queen had sent her way. She had been victories against most of them. The Queen, which had become a Matriarch, gave birth to more and more Face Hugger eggs. “You horrid monster, let me go this instant or you will face the wrath of Nightmare Moon!” The Matriarch roared at Luna fearsomely. “Do not spit at me, monster!” The Matriarch slid it's head back into her shell, continuing the birthing process. Meanwhile... Youngblood slid his hand across the slimy, black wall. “They've created some sort of barrier.” Lonewolf walked up beside Youngblood, and began to feel the barrier, “Damn Serpents. They've grown too smart.” Youngblood turned his head towards Lonewolf, “What do we do now?” Lonewolf tried to slice the barrier with his various blades, yet nothing worked. “Damn... I think we gotta blow it up.” “But that could possibly hurt the princess!” “That's a risk I am willing to take. These Serpents show no remorse, no mercy, unclouded by ego. They have no ego! The only thing that goes through their mind is kill. It's what they're made for.” “Please, Lonewolf. We can save this planet!” Lonewolf turned his head, “Damn it, Youngblood. I wish you wouldn't be so sensitive so much. I don't care about the princess, or anyone else but me and you. I don't care if we've got to blow this entire planet up! Which in fact, we might have to end up doing if we want to wipe these damn things off the face of the universe!” Youngblood readied his wrist blades, “I won't let you...” Lonewolf looked over at Youngblood in shock. His own protege, challenging him. “There is no use for bloodshed! At least our own blood. Now, get out. I will make the blast radius as small as I can. Yet no guarantee this won't hurt the princess you so wish to save.” “We can save her! How would you like it if our princess was in danger?!” Lonewolf stopped from removing his bracer, and rounded up on Youngblood, “WE HAVE NO PRINCESS, YOU IDIOT! We follow the gods! No one else!” “We live, strive, and survive to hunt these creatures down! It brings honor to ourselves, our ancestors, and our kin!” Youngblood removed his helmet to reveal a regular Predator face, yet with burning green eyes, “Then bring honor by saving others!” Lonewolf strapped the wrist bomb onto the wall, it slowly counted down. “Get out of the way. Find cover in the cave.” “Not if it kills the princess.” "I don't want to do this to you, Youngblood." “Fine then. I'll do it.” "I'm sorry, Youngblood." Lonewolf charged at Youngblood, who quickly side stepped and sliced Lonewolf's side with his blade. Lonewolf quickly got back up, and fired a plasma shot at Youngblood. He twisted his body at the last moment, causing the plasma to hit the bomb, causing it to set off early. “YOUNGBLOOD! NO!” The blast radius was small, but it blasted far enough to scorch Youngblood's back, sending him flying towards the ground. He slammed into the dark stone of the cave floor, and laid there. Completely still. “No... no no no no no!” Lonewolf ran over to Youngblood. His back was burned so bad his spine was easily detected through the flesh and muscle. Lonewolf knelt down and picked up Youngblood's body and turned him over on his back. Lonewolf pulled out a health stim and slammed it into Youngblood's chest. No response. “Youngblood... no... no no no!” Lonewolf used all of stims, but nothing could revive Youngblood. He was dead. Killed by the blast of the wrist bomb. Lonewolf stroked Youngblood's head, closing his eyes. He closed his eyes, clicking mournfully behind his mask. He looked up to see Luna and the Matriarch staring at Lonewolf. “You... BASTARDS!” Lonewolf charged at the Matriarch, and fired several plasma bolts at her. She screamed in agony, and quickly removed herself from her sac. Lonewolf readied his wrist blades, and threw his battle disk at the queen. She hissed as it skimmed her armored head, and quickly returned to Lonewolf's hand. He jumped high into the air with his lance in hand, ramming it into the side of the Queen's head. He grabbed on one of the Queen's smaller hands, and tore it off with all of his strength. He jumped away from the Queen, and was quickly surrounded by more of the Serpent Hybrids. He turned invisible, and quickly jumped to a ledge. He threw more of his battle disks, slicing off the Hybrids heads. “Come and get me, you fucking bitch!” Lonewolf roared. He jumped down onto the Queen's head and began to stab it with his wrist blades. She clawed at Lonewolf, only scratching him or her head. Acid blood sprayed all around, splattering the walls, the ceiling, and the floor. Luna struggled to get out as she battled more of the Face-Huggers. She stabbed another, and eventually struggled enough and broke free of her bondage. Transforming into Nightmare Moon, she began to fight the Serpent Hybrids. “HOW DARE YOU KILL MY LOYAL SUBJECTS!” She roared. The queen brought up her tail, and swung it at the top of her head. The force was enough to push Lonewolf off, but he pulled out his lance and dug it into the queen's side. He hung on with all of his might, and began to climb up towards the queen's head. The queen grabbed Lonewolf with her main right hand, and threw him against the wall. Lonewolf, dazed from the impact, got up and switched his visor so the Serpent Hybrids were colored in a bright neon green. He jumped up towards another ledge, and began to run along the wall. He fired several plasma shots before jumping from the ledge on the wall to the side of the Queen's face. He found easy footing, and held on tight. Lonewolf grabbed hold of the Queen's bottom jaw, and sliced it off with his wrist blade. More acid blood sprayed as the Queen roared. Lonewolf knew that he and the princess couldn't fend off all of the Serpents including their queen. He had to escape with the princess! He had to use Youngblood's wrist bomb! Lonewolf activated his translator once again, “PRINCESS! USE YOUR MAGIC TO HOLD THE SERPENTS AND THEIR QUEEN TOGETHER!” “I will try, Hunter!” Luna, still in her Nightmare Moon form, gathered the Serpents and their queen into a massive dark blue ball. Lonewolf and Nightmare Moon regrouped. “Where is the other one, Hunter?” Lonewolf looked at her Nightmare Moon through his mask with much guilt, “I... didn't mean to... kill him... it was the Serpents... they forced me to!” Nightmare Moon looked ready to cry, “He will not die in vain! What do you plan to do, and hurry. I can't hold them for much longer!” “Youngblood's body still has a wrist bomb. I can blow this entire place up!” “If I get too far, or too tired, the shield will collapse! They could easily catch up to us! Have you seen how fast those creatures are?!” Nightmare Moon gasped. “That is a risk we will have to take! Come on! And yes, I've hunted them my entire life! Call me one of them, if you wish to!” Lonewolf ran up to Youngblood's body, grieved over him for a short time, and began to punch in numbers. Once he had finished, he gestured for the princess to follow him. Together, Lonewolf and Nightmare Moon ran as fast as they could out of the cave. Lonewolf turned his head to see a small group of Serpent Hybrids catching up to him and Luna. He aimed his wrist blades at one of the nearby Serpents them, and shot out one of the blades. It slammed into the Serpent's shoulder, causing it to fall onto the ground where it quickly got back up, and suddenly healed itself. "What the hell?!" Lonewolf roared. Luna turned her head just in time to see the Serpent Hybrid heal it's shoulder, "These hybrids have inherited magic!" Suddenly, a dark figure swooshed right above Lonewolf's head. "And flight!" Lonewolf turned his head towards Luna, “Hurry! Use your magic to get us out of here!” Luna's horn sparked and she transformed back into her regular self, “They've broken out!” “The blast will kill them! Hurry!” Luna used all of her remaining power, and transported them back to Canterlot Castle. At that same time, the queen poked her head out of the cave and walked out to be hit by the light of the rising sun. She roared, but was quickly silenced as the bomb went off, annihilating everything in 100 yards. The cave was destroyed, the Serpents and their queen had been wiped out, and about half of the Everfree Forest as well. Back at Canterlot Castle, Celestia was hugging Luna tightly as she cried over her sister, telling her how worried she was. “Oh thank you, Lonewolf!” She paused, “Where is Youngblood?” Lonewolf looked down. A few moments of silence passed before Celestia broke it. She frowned, “Oh... I see... well, it seems that your ship was easily repaired, and look at this, can also be fueled by magic! I was able to completely fill up your tank!” Lonewolf removed his helmet. Celestia gasped, and Luna screamed a little when they saw Lonewolf's face. He looked up at the two princess with his bionic eye. It shifted in its socket, adjusting itself. To put a little more detail into what Lonewolf looks like. He wasn't the regular everyday Predator. He was a Berserker Predator AKA Super Predator. “I am sorry for the trouble we've caused you.” Even though all Luna and Celestia heard was a series of clicks and chatters, they knew somehow Lonewolf was apologizing. He dropped the helmet on the ground, and walked into his ship. He started up the engines, and suddenly vanished as he transported himself back home. His helmet still on the ground. Lonewolf sat in the bunker as he set his ship on auto-pilot. He sat in his bunker, thinking about what his clan would do when they found out that Youngblood was dead... He blamed the Serpents, but he knew deep down he had been the one who truly killed Youngblood. Yet who created the strange machine that caused all of this trouble? And for what purpose? At that moment Lonewolf knew what he must do. He will gather the best hunters from his clan, return to the strange planet, and find out the origins of the device. > Epilogue > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Epilogue... Celestia and Luna stood at the balcony. Celestia held Lonewolf's helmet in her hoof, studying it. “This machine... houses terrific mechanisms! Don't you agree, sister?” Celestia looked over at Luna, who had collapsed on the floor. “Luna? Are you alright?” “Y-Yeah... I'm fine... my stomach just... gah... hurts.” Celestia dropped the helmet, helping her sister back up on her feet. But as soon as she was able to stand, Luna fell on the floor, screaming pain. Something pushed up against her stomach, causing what looked like a foot to make a large mark. “Luna?! What happened in the cave?!" “AAAAHHH!!! CELESTIA! HELP! OH GOD, WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME?!” Luna clutched her stomach. “OH M- Guards! Guards, come quick!” “Sister! Something happened in the cave! Something that I knew would come and bite me later! Gaah! I feel like my chest... my chest is going to burst!!” Tears began to stream from Celestia's eyes as she held her younger sister. Suddenly, blood blasted from Luna's chest as a sharp, black object sliced Luna's stomach open. “CELES-” "LUNA!!" A large, reptilian like creature crawled out of Luna's stomach. It looked at Princess Celestia and opened it's mouth to reveal it's pink gums. It hissed at her menacingly, when suddenly another pair of jaws came jutting out of it's mouth. Like it was evolving right in front of Celestia's eyes... It ripped it's umbilicle cord from its stomach, and quickly swiped it's claws against Celestia's face. She dropped to the ground. Not dead, but knocked out from the force of the blow. Celestia dropped next to her dead little sister. Two guards came in, and screamed in horror when they saw Luna's bursted stomach. Tons of blood began to spill onto the floor. The Proto-Xeno-Hybrid looked at the guards while they screamed in horror at the sight before them. It caught them by surprise, jumping on one of the guards, ripping it's chest plate off and digging into the guards chest. Throwing out organs, blood, muscle, tissue, and bone with ease. The other guard watched in horror, but it was too late for him to react before the Proto-Xeno-Hybrid grabbed him as well, and quickly finished him off as well. Shining Armor burst through the door, and screamed in horror at the gruesome sight. The Proto-Xeno-Hybrid jumped at Shining Armor while he screamed in terror. The night sky was filled with blood curdling screams of unexpecting ponies. “She had been victorious against most of them.” Aliens VS Predators: Equestrian Hymn, by Mr. Dorchester/TheCBF36 Inspired by: AVP Alien Predator(s) Prometheus Thanks To: Ridley Scott - For shaping my childhood, creator of Alien, and making me the massive Sci-Fi/Horror geek I am today.
