The Sculpture Object Class : Euclid All personnel are to mantain direct eye contact with SCP - 173. At least 3 people are to watch him, and warn each other whenever they blink. In case eye contact is broken, SCP - 173 will most likely kill it's victims by breaking their necks, or suffocation. In case SCP - 173 is found by an M.T.F. Unit, SCP - 173 is to be put in a containment cage immediately. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ SCP - 682 / A.K.A. Hard-to-destroy Reptile Object Class : Keter In case SCP - 682 is found, all units must be immediately warned, and the area sealed immediately. No containment required, SCP - 682 is to be immediately destroyed. All weaponry are to be used. In case weapons are unable to destroy him, try causing the maximum amount of damage possible, and wait for other units to arrive and aid in the battle. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ SCP - 714 / A.K.A The Jade Ring Object Class : Safe During the breakout, SCP - 714 was lost. It is unknown who (or what) took it. In case it is found by a staff member, they may or may not wear it, seeing it's effects can make a human exhausted, and reduce their speed. However, it also grants psychological defenses, as well as immunity to toxins, although effects will apply in case the ring is removed. Containment should be easy. The ring merely has to be kept in a pocket, and used only if extremely necessary. ... ... ... I woke up. Not the weirdest dream I had, especially because I work at the foundation. After blinking a few times I tried to think of what happend in the dream... ...I was at the foundation... There was a containment breach... Everyone was fighting the escaped SCPs... I fell into a machine... It wasn't a regular machine, it was a new SCP... I don't remember the name very well... My mind is blurry... I woke up... There were ponies. Talking ponies... And then one of them came closer to me. I was tired. I fell unconscious... "Oh, so you're awake." A voice said. I quickly looked to my side, and saw a lavender unicorn, with wings too. I was in a room made out of blue crystals, and beside her was a reptilian creature I couldn't identify... All I remembered was shouting from the surprise, running away, hitting my head on something, then falling unconscious again. All I could mutter before dozing off was something like : "...This is going to be a long day..." Then everything went black again. > Equestrian Log - File 1 - Area Recognition > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I woke up again after that. When I did, there was nobody in the room. I mentally cursed myself for acting like such a wimp at the sight of a talking unicorn. I work at the SCP Foundation, for crying out loud. I got up from the bed I was in, and moved towards the door that led to the outside of the room. When I got out, I met a giant blue crystalline hallway. I walked around the hallway, wandering aimlessly, searching for an exit. I have been to SCP - 106's pocket dimension once (an experience I'd never like to be through again), so those crystal hallways and rooms weren't so confusing at all. Just very, very time consuming. Eventually, I reached a room. It was huge, and circular. The windows reflected a slightly green-ish light. The very place had an amazingly soothing aura. There were seven thrones in the middle of the room. One of them was occupied by the same unicorn I've met before, and besides her, on a smaller throne was the green reptilian creature that was with her. On another throne, there was a white unicorn with a purple mane. On another throne, there was a pink pony, with a rather disturbingly happy smile. Floating around another one was a light blue pegasus, with a mane that had all colors of the rainbow. On the fifth throne was another pegasus, light yellow with a pink mane. And at last, there was an orange pony, with a blonde mane. I barely had time to turn back and leave, when one of them spotted me in there. The yellow pegasus squeaked upon seeing me, so all others followed her gaze and saw me. "So you're awake... again..." Said the lavender unicorn. I reached for my gun, but I wasn't able to find it. In fact, it was then that I realised I didn't have my armor aswell. I was wearing a pink outfit with a few details made of shiny gems. "What the hell is this?" I wondered aloud. "Oh, darling. It's just something I made for you while you were asleep. That black outfit is completely unfashionable, I thought you would like something more acceptable." The white unicorn answered. I looked at her in disgust. She realized my condemning glare and mumbled to herself. "Just add a little pink, and every male goes crazy about it." "Anyway, hello. My name is Twilight Sparkle." The lavender unicorn said. "And these are my friends." She continued pointing to the other equines in the room. "And you are..?" She said extending a hoof. I thought about it for a while. Should I trust her? I had no idea how I got there, as far as I knew she could have captured me. Either way, she seemed friendly, and so did the others, so I decided to play along. I took her hoof and shook it. "Anthony Williams." I said. "What kind of name is that?" Asked the rainbow-maned pegasus. "Rainbow! Show a little more respect." Said the white unicorn. After a brief discussion I learnedthe names of two of them. The blue pegasus with rainbow mane was called Rainbow Dash, and the white unicorn with purple mane was called Rarity. After the two calmed down, Twilight presented me to her other friends. The orange pony with blonde mane was called Applejack, the pink pony was called Pinkie Pie, the yellow pegasus was Fluttershy, and the reptilian was actually a dragon called Spike. Twilight showed me around the place. As I walked around the halls of that place she called 'Castle of Friendship', she talked about her and her friend's stories. Turns out she was the 'Princess of Friendship' who was also the leader of the 'Bearers of Harmony', a group who walked around that universe saving everyone when necessary. There was also a seventh pony who had just awoken, called Starlight Glimmer. Her story was that she was once a villain, and tried to make all of Equestria equal. She seemed interested in knowing me. Eventually, Twilight finished showing me the place, and took me outside with her friends. That place seemed rather dumb on the outside. It was basically a tree made out of crystals. One of them, Starlight, came to me and spoke. "So, what about you?" She asked. "Uh? What about me?" "You see..." Twilight started. "We have been to the human world once. Once we saw you, we thought you could have been from there. We tried to contact one of our friends there, Sunset Shimmer, but appearantly, you aren't like the humans there. She said you could just be something different that resembles a human... so... what are you?" Twilight asked. "Human." I answered simply. "What? But Sunset told me..." She started. "Perhaps it's another human world. I am 100% sure I'm human." I said. "Well, you do look a lot like the ones in there. But your name doesn't seem like one of the ones in there. And in general, you don't act like them." Twilight commented. "Still, I'd like to know your story." She gave me a pleading look. I thought about it for a while longer. Sure I was playing along, but I still didn't trust her completely. As far as I knew she could turn me into stone, or something like that. After a while thinking, I decided not to tell her, at least not for now. She looked disappointed, but understood anyway. She then showed me around town. Ponyville was the name. As I walked around, I noticed how there were very few ponies. Some of them seemed scared of me, not sure what I was. Eventually we reached a place called Sugarcube Corner. The place was dark on the inside, and Pinkie invited us in. Still playing along I joined them. When inside, the lights suddenly turned on, and I could see at least a few dozens of ponies. I immediately took a defensive stance, and got ready for the worst, as all of them shouted "Surprise!" Pinkie saw my worried expression, and giggled a bit. "No, silly. It's just a surprise party. You're new to Ponyville, so I called everypony to give you a party. " She explained. I still disapproved the idea, but I went along with it. Eventually, it got late, and so Twilight, Spike, Starlight, and I went back to the castle. I went back to the room Twilight arranged for me, sat in the bed for a while, contemplating what to do next. Eventually, I felt tired, and finally went to sleep. The next morning, I woke up, and moved towards the throne room. Twilight was there waiting for me. "Good morning." She said. "Morning..." I said, still not sure of what to think of her. As if reading my mind she asked. "Still not trusting me, are you?" "Well, you and your friends seem friendly enough, but I am still not sure of what to think." I admitted. "Why?" She asked curiously. After contemplating a little, I decided to give her a short answer. "Let's just say that after a few things I've been through, I am not going to trust anyone so easily." "What do you mean?" She asked. After a brief silence, I answered. "That's a story for another day." She invited me into the kitchen, and I reluctantly accepted. Upon entering, I realised I was still wearing that pink outfit. "Sorry for asking so early, but where is my armor?" I asked her. "Huh?" She questioned. "My armor. I think I was wearing it when I came here." I told her. "Oh. Rarity must've taken it. She mentioned something about making it more fashionable." Twilight answered. "Oh great." I said sarcastically. "We'll go get it later. Why don't you take a seat and have some breakfast." She asked. "I'm not hungry." I half lied. "Well, at least wait for the others to wake up." She told me. "Ok." I answered. A few minutes later, Spike and Starlight woke up, and went to the kitchen. After having their respective breakfasts, and asking me every now and then if I wanted to eat something aswell the two of them joined me and Twilight on the way to Carousel Boutique. Once we arrived, Twilight knocked politely on the door. "Come in." Rarity's voice sounded on the other side. We entered the place, and I must admit, it was quite impressive. The mannequins were all pony shaped. The place was pink everywhere inside, and the mirrors had a golden edge. The place seemed like a mixture of simple, yet elegant. "Oh, hello darlings!" Said Rarity, entering the room. She was wearing some glasses, and carrying a few dresses she was working on. "Hello, Rarity." Said Twilight. "What brings you here today?" Asked Rarity. "Oh, we're just here to get his armor back." Said Twilight. "Do you mean that old and ugly outfit?" Asked Rarity, with a horrified expression. "Exactly." Said Twilight. "Whatever do you want that for?" Rarity questioned me. "Oh I see, you dislike it because it's pink. I understand." She said, seemingly disappointed. "It's not that. It's just... It's my uniform, you know? I kinda need that armor. I am a soldier after all." I explained. "A soldier?" Starlight asked, looking at me curiously. "I'll explain someday." I told her. "Fine, I'll see if I can find it." Rarity said, getting out of the room. We waited for a while. While the ponies talked, I wondered what could have possibly happend with my squad. Had any of them come here too? I wasn't sure, but if they had, then that could mean that... The SCPs could aswell. That thought sent my mind rushing like never before. Twilight saw my worried expression and asked. "Something wrong?" "No, not at all." I said. She simply nodded, and we waited a few more minutes for Rarity. Eventually, she finally entered the room, holding my armor with her magic. I thanked her, and got into a dressing room. First, I slipped off of the pink outfit, removing the shirts, then the pants, then the shoes. After this I started putting my armor back. First the pants, keeping them there with my belt, and checking if my guns were where they should, as well as extra ammo. Then, I put on my boots. At last, the chest armor, with bulletproof vest. While putting on my helmet, I realised Twilight was behind me. I looked at her, and saw her look of fear while staring me. "Is something wrong?" I asked her. "What is... that?" She asked, pointing at my right arm. I saw what she was looking at and realised what she meant. She was asking me about that huge scat that covered a big part of my skin. Bad memories from SCP - 1048. "Well, as I said. I am a soldier. Getting hurt is part of my job." I answered simply. She looked at me in disbelief, but I had to tell her the least amount of information possible. She walked out of the room, appearantly sad I refused to tell her anything. I got out of the room, and gave back the outfit Rarity made for me. "Oh, that is not necessary. You may keep it. It wouldn't really fit anyoneelse here." She said. "Thanks." I said. "You're welcome." She said. After this, we left the place. On our way back, Twilight told me I would have to go see the princesses, for security measures. She said that I was still a creature from another universe, therfore the authorities had to meet me personally. I agreed, at least now that I could see their leaders I could finally decided whether or not to trust them. The day went along, as Twilight, Spike, and Starlight helped their friends. Meanwhile, I was in the Castle of Friendship, writing some logs, either for someone else who got here, or for the Foundation once I get back. Eventually, Twilight and the others returned from their activities, so they came to the castle. Twilight trotted near me and spoke. "Well, it is time. Let's take you to Canterlot." She said. I realised her horn was glowing, so I decided to prepare myself. Eventually, there was a bright flash of light, and suddenly we were all in a new place. The halls were white, with details in gold. The windows had shapes that resembles ponies and their achievements. On the end of the room, there were two alicorns, one much taller than Twilight, and one about the same size. The bigger one was white, with a flowing mane that resembled a rainbow, and was wearing golden adornments. The other one was dark blue, with a blue mane that resembled the night sky, and was wearing black adornments. "Princess Celestia, Princess Luna." Twilight greeted the two politely. She looked at me, and signaled for me to come closer. "This is Anthony Williams." Twilight said gesturing at my direction. I bowed before the princesses. If they were as powerful as Twilight depicted, I did not want to upset them. "Rise." Said the white one, Princess Celestia. I did so, and looked up at them. They were staring at me with curious eyes. I already knew what they would say next. "Where do you come from?" Asked Princess Celestia. "As I have explained to Miss Sparkle before, I come from the Human World." I asnwered as calm-sounding as I could. "As I am sure Twilight has explained to you already, we have the knowledge of a 'Human World', yet you don't seem like any of the ones in there." She stated. "There are more than one reality, this one you know may just be a different one." I explained. "Twilight has told me a few things about you. From the letters she sent me, you are a soldier. In your dreams, you keep saying random numbers as well as the letters S, C, and P. And usually mentions something known as 'The Foundation'." Celestia said, looking deep into my eyes. "As Princess of the Sun, it is my duty to protect Equestria and it's ponies, so I must know as much about you as possible." She said. I was still unsure whether to trust them or not, but after thinking for a while I realised that, even after all the time I've been here, they showed me nothing but kindness. Of course, some of them didn't really trust me, I could see it in their eyes, I didn't blame them for that, as I wasn't sure abut them either. Still, if I was in this world, something else might have come here too, and if that was the case, I might need more help than I thought. I took a deep breath, and asked the princesses something. "What I am going to say now stays in this room, mass panic is something that neither of us want." I said, looking at Celestia seriously. "As you prefer, now explain." She answered. "I am Anthony Williams, a soldier of the S.C.P. Foundation." I started. "SCP? What is that?" Asked Twilight curiously. "S.C.P. stands for Secure, Containt, and Protect. We are an organization that is specified on locating, cataloguing, containing, studying, and testing anomalies, whether they are objects, places... or creatures." I said. "We call these anomalies the 'SCPs'." I finished. "So that's what you keep saying on your sleep..." Mumbled Twilight. "You are talking about these anomalies, right?" Asked Twilight. "Exactly. We have 3 main categories for them. Safe : It's an SCP That is either harmless, or that has been already neutralised. Euclid : It's an SCP That is either non-comprehended by us, or just not able to be easily contained. Keter : Run. Run for your life. Run as fast as you can, and never look back. Hard-to-contain, extremely dangerous, or straightforward nightmare fuel. Stay. Away. From. Them." I said, looking at them sternly. They looked back at me, terror and concern in their eyes. I realised I might have scared them more than I intended to. After another deep breath, Princess Celestia spoke. "Still, that doesn't explain how, or why you got here." She said regaining her composture. "There has been a breakout." I said. After this, nobody even tried to hide their dread. I continued explaining. "Several SCPs have gone loose, most of them Euclid, or Keter. I was alongside my team trying to confront them, and contain them back. However, I got here. Appearantly, I fell in an SCP and was sent to this dimension. I am honestly concerned with the fact that when I was there, there were other SCPs in the room with me, and it is possible they come here aswell." I told them. "So why didn't you say this sooner?!" Asked Starlight, in disbelief. "Because I still couldn't trust you." I told them. "Why? We accepted you, helped you, even gave you a welcome party. Why would you be so cynical towards us?!" Asked Twilight, not understanding my resons. "Remember those scars you have seen?" I asked her. She looked pale, seemingly getting the messege, and simply nodding. "That's why." I said. "Let me guess, 'story for another day'." Said Starlight, disappointed. "I belive it's best. If the other SCPs are here, then I have the duty of stopping them. It is possible that even some of my comrades are here too. I must find them, if they are." I said. "We will arrange for you to go searching for these 'SCPs'." Said Celestia. "Really?" I looked at her. "If there is anything remotely threatening the peace in Equestria, it is my duty to stop it. You may go hunting these creatures." She said. Sure I wasn't expecting that. Even though I wanted to, I still wasn't sure I could do that on my own. As if reading my mind, Twilight spoke up. "Can me and the other bearers help him?" Asked Twilight. "What?" I asked her. "It's our duties as elements of harmony to keep peace through Equestria, and so, we should help you save everyone from these awful creatures." She said. "It's too dangerous." I said. "We have faced danger before." She said. "Not like this..." I tried to convince her. "Don't worry. We all belive in you." She said. I looked at Princess Celestia, who simply nodded, and said. "Fine, Princess Twilight. You may help Mr. Anthony Williams." She said, looking at me. "I trust you will be able to keep them safe, is that alright?" She asked. "I will do my best." I said, bowing my head. "Excellent. Now, you may want to go back to Ponyville, and..." Celstia started speaking, but was cut off by a loud noise. A white unicorn with a blue mane entered the room. He looked terrified, and beside him was a ping alicorn carrying a little filly. "Shining armor? What are you doing here?" Asked Princess Celestia. "There is... something... on the Crystal Empire!" He stuttered. "What is it, brother?" Asked Twilight. He looked at me, and his eyes widened with fear. "What is that?!" He asked. "He is just our guest." Said Princess Celestia. "But he may aswell be the solution to your problem." She looked at me, then back at him. "What is on the Crystal Empire? Give the most details possible." She asked him. "I'm not sure what it is either. It looks bipedal, but made out of rock, like, real hard rock. It looks kinda like a statue, it is mostly white, with some details in red and gree. It doesn't move, but is seen constantly on different places. Recently, several ponies have been found..." He hesitated. "...Dead..." He said at last. "We were able to link the sightings of this mysterious statue to the dead ponies, as it was usually seen before someone died, but we are never able to catch it, and we don't know where it will go next. It has recently disappeared from anyone's sight, but I know it is still there... somewhere... waiting..." He started to sweat. Twilight was horrified by this, and hugged her brother to confort him, as he hugged her back even more tightly. I was aware of the possibility of one of them popping up, But I didn't belive it'd happen so soon. "Does it sound like any of the ones you know?" Celestia asked me. "Yes. I am perfectly sure I know who is he talking about." I looked at all of them, giving off my best serious look. "SCP-173 / A.K.A. The Sculpture." I said. "The what?" Asked Twilight. "It's a creature made out of concrete. It can't move when being looked at, but when you aren't looking, it becomes active. It generally kills it's victims by snapping their necks, or suffocating them. It's extremely fast, being able to move various meters on the same time you take to blink. It's an Euclid type, wich means, we don't know where it came from, or what it's reasons are. It is generally kept in a cell, monitored at all times. If it is in the Crystal Empire, we must go there Immediately, I know how to stop it." I said. "Should I call the other bearers?" Asked Twilight. "We have no time for that, if it's already there, many ponies are in danger right now." I said. Twilight nodded, and said goodbye to her brother and friends, as she started the spell to teleport us into the Crystal Empire. "Goodbye, sis... Be careful." Her brother called her, much calmer now. "See you brother! Don't worry, I'll be fine." With that said, a bright flash of light covered the entire room. Both me and Twilight found ourselves into a dark alley, there were no ponies on the street. They were probably too scared to get out of their homes. "Where do we go now?" Asked Twilight. Suddenly, we heard a scream, far away. I looked at the direction where the scream came from, then back at Twilight, then asked her. "Where do you think?" I said, as we started running towards the direction of the sound. I got my gun and bullets ready. This was going to be a very, very dangerous mission. And it was my duty to see it through. > Equestrian Log - File 2 - Beware Of The Neck Breaker > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Both of us still ran towards where we heard the sound, though it had stopped a while ago. Still, we needed to be sure, so we kept running. Eventually, we saw a dark alley. The walls were made of dark blue crystals, and the floor was dark purple. We entered the alleyway, and kept walking through it's endless darkness. The corridors were dark, darker, yet darker. Me and Twilight walked for a while, I could see she was scared and trembling a little bit. Eventually, we reached the end of the alleyway, where there was a door, connecting to one of the buildings. The door was crystal pink, decorated with some details in white. It was slightly open, and it was possible to see a little bit of the inside of the place. The lights were dim, and the place seemed to be somepony's house. We opened the door and entered. When we did, I had to put my hand over Twilight's mouth in order to keep her quiet, as well as restrain her. I saw pure fear in her eyes, so I hugged her, and tried comforting her the best I could. She hugged me back tightly, sobbing a little bit. Eventually, she calmed down. I let go of the hug, and she just stayed there with her eyes closed. I knew what the feeling was, and seeing her like this reminded me of the first week in the foundation. As I walked around the room, I started inspecting everything in it. It was a mess, the tables were literally turned, and everything seemed to have just been thrown away into the air, and fallen down again. In the middle of the room lay a motionless pink mare crystal-like pony. Her mane was light green, like an emerald, but some parts were brown-ish, due to the pool of blood below her. I walked over, and knelt close to her. I put my hand in her chest. She was definitively dead. I looked at her neck. Parts of the crystal were shattered, and cracked. She had been strangled to death. Through her eyes I could see she died with them closed. All the pieces added up. "SCP - 173 has already been here. Let's move. We have to find it before any more victims appear." I told Twilight. She was shaking and sobbing uncontrollably, clearly in shock. I knelt down and put my hand on her shoulder. "Belive me, I know how you feel. You don't have to do this. If you want to, go back to your friends, I can handle this." I comforted her. "No..." She said. "I want to do this with you... There are lives on danger. I won't back off now." She said, still visibly shaken by the scene. I smiled at Twilight, even though she couldn't see it under my helmet. I took her hoof and helped her up. Both of us left the room, and back into the alleyway. Finding 173 was going to be a harder task than we originally thought. Both of us went into every single nearby place to the building, but nopony seemed to know anything, and nopony seemed to have witnessed or felt anything out of common. We searched every single building near that alleyway, but nopony knew anything whatsoever. After almost an hour searching, Twilight sat down huffing heavily. "Where... could something... like that... hide..?" She lookedies extremely tired, even though she tried her best to hide it. "What does it even look like anyway?" She asked. I took a picture of it, which I used while asking the locals if they had seen it. She saw the picture, and looked at me in a mixture of discomfort and dread. "I think I saw something like that..." She stuttered. "Where?!" I inquired. "In one of the ponies' house. Follow me!" She ran as fast as she could towards said house, I followed suit. Eventua, there we finally reached it, and Twilight rang the doorbell. "There's no time for that." I warned her. "But the door is locked." She said. I took off my gun and shot the doorknob, unlocking it. Twilight just froze in shock of what I just did. Pony weapons probably wouldn't be able to do something like that, I assumed. I entered the room, pointing my gun at every single possible thing I could see, yet, it didn't seem to matter. The room was cleaner than the last one, but still had some signs of damage, as well as a trail of blood. I followed the trail, while Twilight stayed in the other room. When I got to the end of it I saw a white crystal pony stallion, with a blonde mane, and mustache. He seemed to have had his neck broken. 173's signature. I knelt down to see if I could find anything. When I got closer, I could see he was holding a picture. I took the picture into my hand. It seemed recent enough. It showed him and another white crystal pony mare, with a red mane. What called my attention the most though was what the mare was wearing. It seemed like an adornment in her hoof, but upon closer inspection it seemed like a ring for ponies. A Jade Ring to be more specific. Simple, green. Not transparent green, just green, and without any kind of decorations. I had an Idea and I hoped it was just my imagination. I rushed back to the other room, and met Twilight, holding a few letters. "Did you find anything?" She asked me curiously. "I think I did, but I hope I'm wrong." I said, showing her the picture. "Look at her hoof. See anything?" I asked her. "A... ring..?" She looked at me, confused. "If I am correct, and I really hope I'm not, that ring is also an SCP" I answered. "Another one?!" She looked at me in disbelief. "SCP-714, to be precise. It's a ring that reshapes and changes size to fit into the user's fingers, or in this case, hoof. It's a Safe class." Twilight looked more relieved. "But it still doesn't mean it's harmless." Twilight looked concerned again. "And what does it do?" She asked me. "Basically drains all your energy and speed, but it also provides immunity to toxins and psychological stimulation." I explained. "Oh, so it also explains the letters." Twilight commented. "What do you mean?" I asked her. She showed me the letters she was carrying. "They seemed to be conversations between our victim here and his lover. The poor mare had seemingly fallen ill for no apparent reason, and the doctors said she had no signs of infections. She was also becoming more aggressive over time, and less concerned about anyone's opinion." She said. "The symptoms match. Any idea how old these letters are?" I asked her. "From what I see, two days. The same amount of time since he proposed to her." She answered. "And he probably used the ring. Alright, we must go find her. Did the letters have any information on where does she live?" I asked Twilight. "Yes, follow me." She said, as she exited the place. I stepped out, and quietly closed the door. Twilight winced as I did. I knew she was terrified by all of this, but she wouldn't admit it. We both moved along the street, distancing ourselves from that house. While we moved, I saw something with the corner of the eye. It looked black and white, and was moving extremely quickly. When I tried looking at it however, it was already out of my sight. Eventually we reached a house, and Twilight knocked on the door. Eventually, a white crystal pony, with a red mane came through the door. She was exactly the one in the picture, though she seemed even more exhausted. The jade ring in her hoof was still there. "What is it that you want?" She asked in a monotone voice. "Hello, I'm Twilight Sparkle, and this is Anthony Williams." She said, gesturing at me. "We're here to talk to you." She said with an obviously fake cheery tone. "Sure. Come in, or... whatever...." The mare said looking horribly ill. Both of us entered the house. The insides were much simmilar to the other crystal pony houses we've met before, except much cleaner and organized. Porbably because 173 hasn't been here yet. We saw she enter aswell and close the door. She looked at us uninterested. Twilight cleared her throat. "So... um... What's your name?" Asked Twilight. "...Rocking Note..." She said. "That's a... lovely name..." Twilight said. "What do you want here?" Rocking Note asked. "Oh. Um... you see... Anthony thinks that... maybe... this ring of yours is a paranormal object... And... He would like to inspect it..." Twilight said awkwardly. "Sure, you can see it." She removed the ring from her hoof. When she did, she fell unconscious immediately. "W-What happend?!" Twilight stuttered. "She removed the ring." I said, picking it up. "What?! Is that it?!" She asked in disbelief. "Don't tell me you knew this would happen." She shot me an icy glare. "I don't have to, you seem to have figured it out by yourself. When someone removes the ring they can have some often unpredictable side effects. Faining is one of them." I explained. While Twilight attended to the unconscious mare on the floor, I looked at the ring. Something told me I'd need it in the near future, so I put it in my pocket. While strolling around the house, I was thinking about things. SCP -173, and SCP-714 were here, so... were there any others? Prehaps there were, wich made me very concerned. If 106, or 682, or any other Keter for that matter were here... Then everyone was in grave danger. Still, there was hope, prehaps some members of the foundation were here too. They could help if that was the case. Eventually I had to stop in my tracks, as Twilight came close to me. "Yes?" I asked her. "She is awake. Should we tell her, or...?" I knew what Twilight meant. "Prehaps it would be too big of a shock at once. Let her calm down first. I'll go and search for 173 around this area. You stay and help her." I told her. "Meet me in the town square, in... 30 minutes?" I asked her. "Do you even know where the town square is?" She asked me. "I'll find out." I said, leaving the room. When I got back outside, I continued my search. I went from door to door to see if anyone had seen SCP-173. Things progressed rather repetitively. Knock on the door. Crystal pony answers. Help him get over the shock. Accept them calling me 'alien', 'monster' or whatever they chose. Get out without any information. I was beggining to lose hope, when at last, one of the ponies said she saw something. When knocking in one of the doors it was immediately answered, and a mare came out. The mare was a light blue unicorn, with a yellow mane. "Oh, what do you want here?" She asked me kindly. "I'm looking for something like this." I said, showing her the picture of SCP-173. "Have you seen it?" "Oh, my, yes. It's in the backyard. I wondered why would a statue like that appear." I rushed towards the backyard. "Everything okay?" She asked me. I looked at it. It was in the living room. Standing there, just standing. Waiting to make a move. The yellow-ish sculpture, with it's green orbs, that we at the foundation assumed were eyes staring directly at me. The mare came to my side, and screamed from the surprise. I looked at her for a split-second, and when I looked back, the sculpture was much closer. "Be careful, it can't move right now. Keep looking at it." I instructed her. She nodded, and both of us backed away slowly, trying our best not to blink. "Close all the entrances. It can't get out from here. I'll keep it here, okay?" I told her. "Ok, I'll go get the keys." She said, then left. I stood there for a few minutes. Always keeping one eye open, and the other closed. When the open eye was feeling dry, I'd open the closed one, and close the open one. I kept repeating the cycle, over and over. Once in a while I made a mistake, and had to move to the other side of the room, to distance myself further from it. Eventually the mare came back, and called me to the front door. I walked backwards towards it, still without blinking. We got out of the house and locked the last door. "Do you live alone?" I asked her. "No, actually, but the rest of my family is out for the day." She said. "Good, don't let anyone get there." I said. "What was it?" She asked me. "I'll explain on the way. I should get going to the town square now." I said. "I don't really live here, so... could you take me there?" I asked. She smiled and told me to follow her. We walked along, while I explained her about the foundation, and SCP-173, as well as what it was doing here. "That is... horrible." She said. "I know, and that is why I must contain it." I said. "Alone?" She asked. "I don't want to put anyone in danger, so alone would be better." I said. "Still, I'm not really alone. The princesses are aware of my presence here, so they have allowed me to get help whenever I needed it." I explained. "That's good to hear." She said. "We've been talking for a while and I don't even know your name." I said. "Oh, sorry. You can call me Frosted Drop." She said. "I like that name." I told her. She smiled. Eventuallly we got at the town square, and met Twilight. "Here you are." She said, looking slightly annoyed. "Sorry, I'm late." I said. "Did you find any information?" She asked me. "Not really, just the creature itself." I said. "...WHAT?!" Twilight was looking terrified. "It was at my house actually, I thought it was just a statue." Frosted Drop answered. "We were able to contain it there. We closed all the entrances." I told Twilight. Suddenly, a mare came to Twilight's side. It was Rocking Note. She looked horrible, even worse than when she was wearing the ring. I could see in her eyes she had been crying a lot recently. "Why is she here?" I asked. "Well, I couldn't just leave her alone, could I?" Twilght said. "It's dangerous." I said. "I don't care." Rocking Note said. "That thing... It killed my boyfriend. He even had proposed to me. I will not live it down knowing I did nothing to help stopping it." She said in a firm tone. "I see..." I simply said. "Well, the creature won't be leaving that house so soon, so, we have a few time to make a plan." I said. ... It was almost sunset, we spent the rest of the day trying to get the equipment we needed to capture it. We all met each other at Frosted's house. I had a pair of steel handcuffs, Twilight and Frost were carrying some chains. Rocking was carrying the shock collar. "Seems like we have everything." I said. "Do we get in now?" Asked Rocking. "Yes, everyone, on my signal." I said, getting closet to the door. "One..." Frosted got the keys. "Two..." She unlocked the door. "Three..." She opened it. "GO!" I said, as all of us entered at once. The room was empty. "Where has it gone?" Asked Frost. "I couldn't have left the house, not alone, at least." I said. We separated into two duos. Twilight went with Rocking, and I went with Frosted. Both of us were looking eveywhere to see if we could find it. Frosted was shaking, so I looked at her. "Are you okay?" I asked, kneeling down, closer to her. "Yes, I'm just... I'm scared." I looked at her eyes. "Don't worry, you'll do just fine." I ressured her. "I wasn't made for this..." She said. "What do you mean?" I questioned her. "Look at my cutie mark." She said. Twilight explained me about those. I usually prefer not to look at them. Looking at a pony's flank just feels kinda wrong, but in this case, looking at her pleading eyes, I just had to do it. It was very pretty, actually. It was an Ice cream cone, with some ice cream on top of it. "You see, now?" She asked me. "My special talent is actually making ice cream, not being a detective." She said slightly sad. "Do you see my cutie mark?" I asked her. She looked at me, in every possible angle, searching for anything, then pointed at my shoulder. "Is that it?" She asked. "No, it's just part of my armor. It's only the logo of the foundation." I said. "Then where is it?" She asked. "I don't have one. No human has." I said. She looked at me in confusion. "How is it possible? How do you know what to do, then?" "We don't." I said simply. "And that makes it so much more interesting. We can do whatever we want. So, why don't you try something new every now and then?" I asked her. She smiled at me, and nodded. Both of us went back to work. While searching the kitchen, we heard a scream from upstairs, and quickly rushed towards it. We arrived at one of the dorms, where Twilight laid unconscious on the floor, and Rocking was struggling with 173's grip. I quickly went over to, and checked her, while Frost kept looking at 173. "She's still alive." I said, relieved. I quickly helped Rocking out of 173's arms, and we kept staring at it. I went over to it, and placed the handcuffs, to prevent it's arms from moving. Frost then came to help me, as we chained it down on basically every spot, except the legs. Finally, Rocking helped place the shocking collar on it's neck, as I held it on a steel leash, that had a metal bar, preventing it from getting too close. "Excellent. Could you girls bring Twilight outside? I'll carry this thing. Stay away from it." I said. And so we did. When we got out, Twilight was finally returning to her senses. "What do we do with it now?" She asked. "I would like to destroy it, especially after the damage it has done, but the foundation wouldn't allow it. Our acronym is Secure, Contain, Protect, not Destroy, Destroy, Destroy." I said. "Then where are we going to keep it?" Asked Twilight. "Prehaps somewhere safe, back in ponyville. Does Applejack's barn have som clear space?" I asked. "For now it seems to have." Twilight said. "Well..." I said, looking at the creature behind me. It was still unable to move. "Now that space won't have to be empty..." I grinned. Our job was done. ... It has been three days ever since the incident in the Crystal Empire. Ever since we contained SCP-173, there has been no reports of anomalous activities, or deaths, though Applejack complains every once in a while about how that 'infernal creature keeps banging at her barn like crazy at night'. Rocking has been doing some psychological treatment, and Frost is doing something new with her life. Turns out that besides ice cream, she is very good at making spicy food. Who could've thought? As for me and Twilight, well... We are still searching for the SCPs. Several anomalous activites have been reported through several places already, but nothing has been found. Nothing, until... "Twilight! Thank heavens I found you!" A weird creature said, entering the room. It was just... Undescribable... "Discord! What are you doing here?!" She asked it. "I heard from Tia that you have been helping out a human capture some strange anomalies, is that right?" It asked. "Yes, it is." I answered. "Do you happen to know anything?" I asked. "Is one of them a bipedal creature, much lie a human, but with a black skin, a murderous grin across all his face, and seems to be able to teleport and kill anything by touch?" He asked. "... Start from the beginning..." I said. > Equestrian Log - File 3 - Rotten Carnage > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Yes" I said simply. Both Twilight and Discord looked at me curiously. I simply looked back and said again. "Yes, that is an SCP." I took a deep breath. "Through the description, it is possible to assume that you're talking about SCP-106, A.K.A The Old Man. I never thought we'd have to go through something like this. I'm sorry, but I'm not sure I'll be able to save everypony." I took yet another deep breath. "Anthony, are you okay?" Asked Twilight, concerned. "No, I'm not. SCP-106 is actually a Keter. It's abilities include killing everything by touch. It can also travel between dimensions, using the ability of corrosion. Anything it touches instantly decays. And if it catches you, it may not kill you instantly, but it will send you to 106's pocket dimension. An entirely chaotic world, where everything keeps changing, except the growing feeling of dread. If it catches you there, you are definitely dead." I explained. Once again, Twilight failed to hide her fear. Never before had she met a Keter SCP. Discord then spoke up. I had almost forgotten he was in there. I didn't look at him much seeing it was something difficult to look at. He seemed like an amalgamation of various parts of various beings. Some of which I didn't even recognize. "Perhaps I can find something to help you guys contain it." He said in a serious tone that didn't seem to fit him. "What about us?" Asked Twilight. "Where has it been spotted last?" I asked Discord. "Somewhere around the Everfree Forest, last I checked." He said. I knew where the place was. Twilight had been teaching me about Equestrian geography. That place seemed to give everyone the chills, just because it's a 'natural' place. It's not different from any forest in my world, save for the monsters. "Twilight, go get the other bearers, we have to go into the forest." I told her. "Okay..." She said, shaking slightly. She left, and I looked at Discord. He gave me a rather embarrassed smile, and cleared his throat. "So, you're from another universe right?" He asked. "Yes, I am." I answered. "Do you know how have you gotten here?" He asked. "Through an SCP. It was a new one, it hadn't been even cataloged yet. Me and my team were fighting them, when that SCP seemingly activated, and I woke up here. I was too tired, so I fell unconscious, and woke up in Twilight's house." I explained. "Do you know where that 'SCP' came from, or why did it activate?" He asked, scratching the back of his head. "Most of the SCPs are complete mysteries, and some are priorities, that one was just another of the many." I said. "Perhaps I may know it's origin." He said. I looked at him, he was sweating a little. "Explain, then." I said. "Well, perhaps I may have had something to do with this SCP... You see, recently I have been experimenting with interdimensional travel. You know, to pass the time..." He started, looking at little anxious. "But then, one of my experiments were lost... It seemingly was transported into another universe, and, well... 2 days later you came here..." He said. "Hmm, I see..." I said. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to cause so much trouble! Heh, when I thought I was reformed..." He said. "It's not your fault, that portal could have led anywhere, it was just unlucky to end in my universe. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone about this." I assured him. "Heh... thanks..." He said. "Still, I'm curious, why can't you just send them all back?" I asked. "I can, but first we have to find them." He answered. "And I'm sure we will." I said, confidently. "So, in the meanwhile, what is your favorite pie flavor?" He asked out of the blue. I couldn't help but smile a little bit. He really is the god of chaos. We kept talking about random sunjects until Twilight arrived with her friends. "Is everything ready?" I asked them. "Yes, everypony is ready, and you?" Twilight asked. "Always." I said, grabbing my gun. All of us left the castle and went towards the Everfree Forest. The walk wasn't that long, and few minutes later we reached the entrance of the forest. "If anypony wants to go back, do so now." I warned. None of them said anything, so I assumed everypony would come. Still, I could see all of them were shaking slightly, even Twilight. I took a deep breath and entered the forest. I could see the 7 ponies accompanying me. All of them with fear in their eyes. The trees were dark, and there were many shadowy places, as well as multiple plants I haven't seen anywhere before. Every once in a while one of them would say something like : "Be careful!", "Don't touch this!". Still, no one on the group was harmed. We walked for several minutes, and found absolutely nothing. No evidence from 106. Still, we continued searching. Any sign of corrosion, on the trees, floor, even the animals, would have been good evidence. But no, there was no evidence at all. After a long time, they were all tired. I didn't want to push them too far, so we found ourselves a way back to the entrance of the forest. I waited for all of them to be fully rested before I asked again. "Does anypony want to leave?" Fluttershy nodded. I gestured for her to leave. It was no surprise for me she would do that. "Anyone else?" I asked. Once again, no response. "All right, then." I said, as we entered the forest once more. We walked, as I kept observing those twisted trees, with their bases looking like faces, trying to scare us away. I heard Pinkie giggle behind me. I could only wonder why. I had lost count of the time, after walking through the strange plants for so long. It could have been minutes, or perhaps were they hours? I didn't know anymore. There were several complaints, but usually I ended them quickly. I don't know for how long we walked, but eventually we found a corpse. It was a giant corpse of a creature that resembled a wolf, but made out of wood. It was smelling of rotten wood, when I got closer to it, I examined it. Just as I thought. It was dead, and rotten. But it wasn't rotten because it was dead, that was the cause of the death. I examined it further, and saw the direction it was looking at before dying. It's eyes were turned north. I looked behind me. Everyone seemed to be shocked, and some at the verge of tears. Twilight was there least shocked, but still, she came close to me, breathing heavily. "What happend?" She asked. "106, it has gone north. That's where we're going." I said, as I pointed towards some trees. Twilight looked concerned, as she suddenly realised something. "That's where Zecora's house is!" She shouted. I understood, it was a friend of hers. We both started running, with the rest of the group close behind. While running, I realised the floor below me was corroded, and had a black color to it. Some of the trees' branches were darkened, and their fruits rotten. We reached a cottage, and all of us blasted inside. Twilight looked around frantically, as she was searching for her friend. "Zecora? Zecora!" She called. I had a look myself, but I realised she was not there. There was no sign of 106's presence, therefore I assumed she would be safe. I told Twilight about this, but she still insisted we looked around. After finishing their investigation, they came back without any clue of Zecora's location. We decided to keep following the trail of 106. We kept walking amongst black floor and decaying trees for a long while. We saw some other decaying corpses of birds, squirrels and other small animals. Thankfully Fluttershy wasn't there. At last, after who-knows-how-long we finally reached a castle. It seemed like an old building, with several trees around it. The entrance was rotten, but not 106 rotten, just age rotten. The area had a soothing aura. Both Twilight and her friends looked nostalgic of the place. I saw a black spot on the floor, and walked towards it. Upon entering the building, I saw several pieces of rock lying on the floor. The black spots marked locations around them. Apparently 106 had examined them before me. Upon closer inspection, I could see the rock shards had a familiar shape. It is only then I realized they had the shapes of the other ponies' cutie marks. "Twilight!" I called her. "Yes?" She said, trotting closer to me. "Do you know what this is?" I asked, pointing at the stones. "These... these are the original elements of harmony. How are they still here?" She asked. "Not sure, but our friend seems to have been taking a good look at them." I said, pointing at the black spots. Twilight gasped. We got up and went to get the others, before continuing to follow the trail of decay. Once we left the castle we started following the trail as quick as we could, walking along more dead animals and more decaying plant life. "What kind of creature would do such a thing?" Wondered Rainbow Dash. I could see they were either angry, in the case of Applejack, and Rainbow Dash. Twilight, Rarity and Starlight were concerned, while Pinkie seemed upset, so much that her puffy mane had gone flat. I myself wasn't happy about this whole situation, though I knew batter than to attack 106 directly. I could feel we were reaching closer and closer to the heart of the forest, and the trail was getting more and more fresh. We were close. We reached a strange place, right in the heart of everything. "Where are we?" I wondered aloud. "Close to... THE TREE OF HARMONY!" Said Twilight, running towards the place. We followed her. Once we arrived, we saw the creature himself. SCP-106, standing tall, with it's grim look, and dream haunting smile. It's hands were touching a gigantic crystalline blue tree, the branches in contact with 106 had become black. We wondered what he was doing, then suddenly, he looked at us. "We're fucked." Is all I could say. "It's destroying the tree of Harmony!" Rainbow Dash shouted. I took Applejack's lasso, and used it to tie Rainbow before she did something stupid. "Let me go!" She shouted. "It can kill by touch, be careful." I said. I took my gun and shot towards the tree. I hit the branches that had suffered 106's touch. The trees started to glow. 106 started to walk towards us, leaving a trail of death behind him. The Old Man extended his hand to touch us, but Twilight blasted him with magic, as all of us ran past him, and towards the tree. "We came in time, they tree will heal." Twilight said, examining the broken branches. "What about us?" Asked Applejack, looking at 106's approaching figure. "Do you girls trust me?" I asked. "Yes." Each of them said. "Good, all stay close to me and don't let go." I said as all of them hugged me tight. counted to three, as I ran towards one of the black spots, the biggest one. I jumped inside it, while 106's screech could be heard behind us all. We had fallen into the darkness. ... I woke up. My vision was blurry. It took me a while to be able to focus on anything, but when I did, I saw we were on a big round room, with a yellowish dim illumination of torches, that felt ghostly on the dark green hallways. The whole place had a smell of putrid flesh, and burnt rubber. I looked around, all six ponies laid beside me. I went to Twilight first, and woke her up. Meanwhile, I could hear a groan behind me. I looked back and saw Starlight, who got closer to me. She was also having problems with her vision, as she bumped into me. "Sorry..." She said. By that time Twilight was waking up. Her eyes fluttered open, and she started sitting upwards. I went to wake Rainbow up next. "Where are we?" Asked Twilight. "In the Pocket Dimension." I said. "What?" Questioned Starlight. "It's 106's hideout. I've been here before. Never wanted to come back, but it was an emergency." I explained. "What about the tree? Won't he try to destroy it again?" Asked Rainbow, now awake. "Nah, the infected branches have been destroyed, and the trees started defending itself. Twilight said it was going to heal, so there is nothing to worry about for now." I said. Twilight and Starlight helped waking the others up. Once everyone was back to consciousness, we started moving towards the corridor. "Where are we going?" Asked Rarity. "Out of here." I said. "Excellent, I really don't want to stay in a foul place like this..." She said. We walked along, descending into darkness. We eventually reached a place that seemed some ruins, in the middle of nowhere. The corridors we were in now disappeared. "What...?" Wondered Starlight. We kept moving, until we looked in the distance, and saw 106 looking at us from afar. He started moving in our direction. Realising we've been spotted, I jumped outside of the ruins, and all of us fell indo darkness once again. When we hit the floor, there was no pain, it was as if we had merely jumped in the same place, and not fallen 10 meters. We were in a place extremely like the first room we were in, but this time, instead of one corridor there were five. "Which way?" Asked Twilight. "I don't know." I confessed. "Didn't you say you were here before?" Rainbow asked. "This place defies all laws of nature, it's ever-changing, only 106 knows how to travel this place with perfection." I said. "We're running out of time!" Said Starlight. "Furthest to the left, then!" I said. All of us entered the tunnel, and reached another room much like the previous one, but with two doors. "Right!" I commanded. We kept following the dimly lit tunnels for a long while. At last, we were at the darkest part, where nothing could be seen, but with a light at the end of the tunnel. We were walking towards it. ... We opened our eyes and looked around. We weren't at the tree of Harmony, instead, we were back at Ponyville. "How?" Asked Twilight. "We moved. Quick, if we're here, he is probably here too. Be careful." I said. I walked around, and saw the distinctive black spots that 106 leaves wherever he walks. They led towards the Castle of Friendship, whose doors were slightly open, and corroded. There seemed a few dead animals lying on the floor. The plants around it were decaying. "There it is!" Shouted Rainbow. We went towards the castle, however, upon getting closer, the smell became too much to handle. Staying there for too long would turn out to be toxic. I reached into my pocket and picked up the Jade Ring, putting it in my finger. I looked at Twilight and the others. "Don't go in. I'll. Go myself, take care of anyone who gets too close. I'll be back soon." I said. Twilight waved me farewell, as I entered the castle. It's original soothing aura had become twisted, as though instead of feeling calm, I felt like dying. Or perhaps that was just the ring, draining my energy. I walked around the now black corridors, with this grim aura everywhere. I felt more and more tired, and a little braver, or prehaps reckless. I didn't feel the putrid smell anymore, all I felt was that something bad was about to happen, and I was running towards it. I entered Twilight's room. Nothing there. Moved towards my room. Still nothing. If it kept like that, I wouldn't be able to check all the rooms in time. At last, I heard a noise on the upper floor. I ran towards it, and once I got there, I looked at the middle of the hallway, and saw the creature again, who in turn looked at me. I was going to get my bullets, when I saw the creature was using its powers on my bullets, that were rusty when fired. I had no power against it, and the minimum consciousness I had left told me to run, and so I did. The creature wasn't after me, quite the opposite, in fact. The creature was running away from me. I could simply leave it to it, but it was my mission to contain it. Suddenly I head voices from the stairs, and I turned to see Twilight, and Discord, both wearing gas masks. "So here you are, quick, where is it?" Said Discord. "It's trying to get away." I said. "We must lute it back somehow." He commented. Lure it back..? That was it! On the foundation we always had a method to recapture 106, that involved a lure subject, that was used to call forth 106's attention. We basically took a member of D-Class Personnel, and broke their femur, so that 106 was attracted by the wound. Now, there were no D-Class personnel, but I knew the plan, and I was still there, with a mission to complete. I told them my plan. "That's crazy! Why would you do such a thing?!" Said Twilight. "Nu-Uh, there must be another way!" Discord complained. "Look, I know you care about me and all, but I must do it, to protect everyone else." I said. "But why you?!" She asked, teary-eyed. "Because I am a soldier. Getting hurt is part of my job." I said. ... We had everything ready. We were at one of the rooms, where I'd attract 106, so that Discord could contain it. Twilight was trying her best to hold back her tears, while I simply was breathing deeply. Discord gave me the sign, and I nodded. I looked at Twilight, and gave her thumbs up. She was still looking very nervous, but agreed to do it. She took one of the devices she developed to break rocks (for research purposes) aimed it at my leg, and... After a while all I could hear were my own screeches of pain. 106 had appeared in front of me through one of its portals, but Discord expected that, and contained it in time, wrapping him like a gift, in a giant glass box, that was supposedly indestructible. After a while, the pain had taken a bigger effect on me than I thought it would. I could see Twilight crying with the corner of the eye. I gave her one last smile before closing my eyes, and falling unconscious once again. The pain kept me awake long enough for me to be able to feel satisfied, for saving many lives, and avenging others. All I could see is darkness, and hear the cries on the outside. I couldn't feel my leg really well, but eventually I completely lost consciousness, not feeling anything at all. Finally, I started dreaming.
