"Just a few more screws..." Bubblegum said.
She had been working all day and night on her new invention. "A little here..." She said, twisting a screw
"Hia Bubblegum!" Cupcake poked her muzzle through the curtain "What ya doin?" She asked, Bubblegum pushed her away with her hooves.
"Its not ready yet Cupcake.." She replied
"Okie dokie Bubblegum!"
Cyborkrat Quarantine System, UFDF Defence Station
11:42 PM Earth Time
Sky sat down in the surprisingly comfy foam chair in the main briefing room on the Catarat. He was the only Star Ranger in the room, all the others were high ranking officers. "Now Sky, tell us what you saw." The UFDF CEO said.
"Its a long story." He replied.
"Nevermind, we took the blackbox out of your ship, the Aphelion." One of the officers said.
"Hey! You leave her out of this!" Sky shouted, slamming his hands against the plastic table.
"Calm down sir." One of the officers replied, which only made Sky Angrier.. Sky decided to sit down for a little longer.
"Alright men, From this data from the broken Warship, the Aurora, they were shot down from a interplanetary cannon." The CEO said, the officers nodded. "From what we could tell, is that this technology wasn't Cyborkrats." The officers looked towards Sky
"Wasn't me." Sky replied
"Sky, what were about to show you is classified ELITE Files. If any media group would to find these it could cause a breakdown in the UFDF, Do you understand?" The CEO said.
"Carry on then.." Sky replied, the CEO brung out a black container with some UFDF markings on it.
"This cannon was from the Precursors." The CEO said. "We heard from some of the marines aboard the Aurora and they said you were on some sort of ancient cannon, is this true?" The CEO asked.
"Yeah." Sky replied.
"The Precursor Tech on this planet shows a lot of abilities. We need you to collect more." The CEO said.
"Your sending me back to that crazy planet filled with ponies?" Sky said
"We guess so. Your commander has promoted you to General. You may bring a companion on this mission." The CEO replied. "Good luck, General."
The officers and the CEO stood up and walked out of the room, leaving Sky to sit there alone. "APS, Get the engine ready." Sky said
"Affirmative." APS Replied through the comms. Sky left his seat and headed towards the hangar, he grabbed the container on the desk on the way out and pushed the small button on the console to his left, the door in front of him opened and he stepped out, he headed right towards the hangar bay, to oversee the engineering crew upgrading the Aphelion.
"Hey!" Sky called out "You guys nearly done?"
"Nearly Done General!" one of the engineers replied with.
"Hurry up then!" Sky replied, he headed towards the cafe to grab a quick coffee before leaving.
Equestria, The CAB
3:40 AM
"Finally! Finished!" Bubblegum said, she wiped the sweat of her brow using her hoof and looked at what she created. A familiar face peered through the curtains.
"Evening, Bubblegum." Azure Byte replied.
"Hey Azure, I just finished this new invention." Bubblegum said.
"Cool, what is it?" Azure asked
"Its a power converter!" Bubblegum said quickly
"Why would you need to convert power?" Azure asked
"Well, Solar energy comes from a different type of power, and I need to convert it to be able to use it with the CAB" Bubblegum said, ranting on. Azure walked in to see the "Power Converter", it had some sort of date on it, and it looked like a wagon, but with rubber wheels?
"What sort of Power Converter needs wheels?" Azure asked
"What if I want to move it though?" Bubblegum replied. "Anyway, I call it the DeHoofian!" Bubblegum replied cheerfully.
Cyborkrat Secret HQ
4:35 PM Earth Time
The Commander rushed through the doors, he pulled at the system controls until they came to a halt. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING?" The Commander shouted. Nobody replied. "YOU WERE ABOUT TO GO INTO UFDF TERRITORY!" He shouted again. The Tracker ran behind him.
"Sir! We've got intel!" He said.
"This better be good!" The Commander said, still looking towards the pilots.
"The human who shot us down sir, is heading back towards the same planet!" The tracker said
"Send out a drone ship, take over that damn cannon!" The Commander replied. "We're not losing this time."
"What kind of name is that?" Azure replied, smirking
"It was on the top of my head! Anyway iv'e already carved it onto the hood!" Bubblegum replied
"This isn't a power converter is it?" Azure asked
Bubblegum sighed. "No it isn't" She replied.
"Well?" Azure asked
"I cant really tell you, not yet." Bubblegum replied.
"Why?" Azure said
"Because Somepony will hear over us!" Bubblegum said. She pushed the small button on the door using her hoof and it clicked open. She climbed in and connected her hoofs to robotic hands, she pulled a lever and the engine roared.
"Where are you going?" Azure shouted, through the roaring of the engine
"To somepony." She replied
"Who?" Azure asked
"Marshmallow." Bubblegum replied, she pushed a button with her new found robotic fingers and the wheels rotated. Thrusters opened from the wheels and the DeHoofian took off into the air, leaving the small tarp on the ground.
