> A New Destiny > by Pen Dragon > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Sorrow > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sorrow How long must I wait? I've waited four thousand years for my time to come, but it never came. When I first arrived I was given the responsibility to look after the realm of The Displaced, and was granted a place as one of The Elder Siblings. And for four thousand years I've been treated as some kind of deity among my fellow displaced. But as time went on they left this world to the next life. Everyone I knew, friends and family.... All gone. It was than I began to despise the world around me and those who saw me as a god, but I always knew that I wasn't a god. I was just a guy who was imprisoned in this realm after opening an email a long time ago. For so long The Elder Siblings had taken refuge within our temples. I sat on my bed alone in my private quarters, avoiding the light of day. The world I lived in was dead to me, and I hated it more than anything I have ever encountered before in my life. I could have stepped down and let someone else take my place, but no one was worthy for such a position. Everyone wanted one of two things in this world... Power or Freedom from this god forsaken place. I personally didn't want either of them, all I wanted was my little sister back. Even with all the power in the world I couldn't save her. I felt tears stream down my face for the first time in four thousand years and it still hurts just thinking about her. I just wished that I could have made a difference on that day. This place only brought back memories that I'd soon rather forget. It was just to painful for me to bare, I felt empty and alone. The Displaced was no longer my home. Knock' Knock' "You may enter." "Lord Suicune, we have completed the teleporter like you asked," A humanoid bird said, bowing. "Thank you Zsoltan, I would like to see it immediately?" I asked. "As you wish my Lord," he replied, leading me out of my quarters to the hallway. Zsoltan was my closest ally, even though he served another member of the high council, Ozai. "My Lord, I must ask you?" "Ask your question Zsoltan," I told him. "Why do you continue to hide from the other Lord's? They have given you magnificent gifts." Zsoltan said. "......" "Your status is at risk my Lord, they will strip you of your rank," "That is where you are wrong Zsoltan, they'll most likely prevent me from leaving this world if they can?" I answered him. "They've been running this world for a very long time and will still run it without me. It's time for things to change for both me and this world. I have nothing left to protect my friend." I explained to him. Everything I have said is true, and from the Zsoltan's expression, he seemed shocked at my words. I don't blame him, he saw me as god and he's always respected me and my fellow elders. "My Lord you can't be serious?! What you're saying is treachery to your fellow Siblings!" He shouted. "Zsoltan, I don't regret anything I say and if you truly see this as treason than you can alert Lord Yasha if you wish, but I am leaving and I don't know if you'll see me again. But I'm counting on you to look after the other Displaced. More will keep falling victim to that email and they'll need someone to look after them," Zsoltan has been serving Ozai and me for two hundred years now and I trust him more than the others. Zsoltan didn't have a response and remained quiet the rest of the way. After traveling through the halls we came across an old door, plated with magic runes that only I could access. With a press of my paw the doors began to open up and we entered, there I saw one of my leading scientists, Exuberant Witness the monitor of The Displaced and the only one I knew who was still alive "Ah, Lord Suicune it has been quite sometime since we last spoke. I take it you're here for the teleporter?" She asked. "Yes I am Exuberant, Zsoltan has told me it's been completed. Is there anything I should know?" I asked, I needed to know everything about it if I was going to leave this awful place. "As a matter of fact yes! You see the teleporter I designed is only a one-way trip. Meaning you couldn't come back even if you wanted to, it was something I've been trying to figure out for sometime now, at least until I discovered that it can do more than transport you to one destination, it could transport you through dimensions, other realities. The possibilities are endless! " she explained to me and I was rather impressed. "Where exactly would I end up?" I asked. "You could end up anywhere as far as I can tell. The computer sets the coordinates on it's own." "Will the trip be safe?" Zsoltan asked. "It is indeed, as long as nothing interferes in anyway," With that said, it was all I needed to know. "Thank you Exuberant, I am ready to depart immediately," I said. "Are you sure my Lord? If you do this, than there's no coming back," she said, warning me as if there would be consequences. It didn't matter to me where I would go or what would happen to this realm. All I wanted was to be alone with no disturbances, I've endured enough lost for several life times. "I'm sure and thank you for your many years of service, Exuberant. When I leave I want you to destroy this machine and all the research and paper work you have on it. This is the final order you'll receive from me, after that you'll be taking orders from Zsoltan from now on," I commanded, both Zsoltan and Exuberant we shocked at my words. "My Lord, please you don't have to do this. I'm not fit to lead anyone," Zsoltan explained, but I could only chuckle in response. "Zsoltan, you are more fit to lead as one of The Elder Siblings than me. My era has ended, but your's is just beginning and I know you'll do great things for these people," I said, bowing my head in respect. "Than....please allow me to do the honors my lord? If this is truly the last time I'll see you, than allow me to destroy the machine as a final order for you," Zsoltan dropped to his knees and pleaded, I could only nod in response, I headed towards the portal. "I'm ready Exuberant, fire it up," "Of course my Lord..... it's been a pleasure serving you," she said, as her tone went down. Even though she was only a robot, I could tell she was going to miss me. Zsoltan pulled out his blade and got into position, as Exuberant began to power the teleporter. "It's been an honor serving you, my Lord," Zsoltan said. Farewell my friends. Even though this was goodbye, I could only smile back at them, as I began to enter through the portal. Before I knew it, I felt nothing but pain. Apparently Exuberant didn't tell me the side affects of traveling through dimensions, every part of my body was in excruciating pain, as well as my mind. It was hard to think. Next thing I know, I black out. After hours of separating the good apples from the bad ones, both Sweetie Belle and Applebloom began heading towards there clubhouse. "So do you mind telling me again why Scootaloo couldn't help us?" Sweetie Belle asked. "Because, her ma was taking her to tah dentist today," Applebloom answered. "Urgh....why did it have to be today? My hooves are killing me," she complained. "Well we still got it done," Applebloom said, trying to cheer up her friend. "Yeah I guess, but right now I just wanna sit down in the club....." Before she could finish, her eyes widened in complete horror. "Sweetie Belle wats wrong?" Sweetie soon grabbed Appleblooms head and turned it the same way she was facing. Their club house was completely destroyed, pieces were scattered all over, and it was devastating to see it in ruins. Tears began to stream down Appleblooms face, while Sweetie Belle just began to look around for anypony that may have caused this. "Who coulda done this?" Applebloom asked as she wiped her tears away. Sweetie Belle didn't know how to answer that, but she had a feeling that whatever did this was big. They both climbed up to whatever remained of there tree house to see if they could find anything interesting. But what they found was something they weren't expecting, laying unconscious in the rubble was a large blue beast with diamond spots and a large hexagonal cerulean crest on it’s head. "I think I found what did this..." Sweetie said as she slowly approached the sleeping beast. "Sweetie get away from there!" Applebloom said, trying not to awaken it. "You don't know what it might do," "I think it's hurt," She said, slightly nudging it on the side of its head. What the two fillies didn't know was that their about to awaken the former deity of The Displaced. It's eyes slowly began to open, trying to figure out it's surroundings, as both fillies froze in place. Where am I? My body ached and from the looks of it, I crashed into a tree house. Before I could take in my surroundings I was met with loud, irritating screams of what appeared to be two colorful little ponies. They must be terrified by my presence, I better approach calmly. "There is no need to fear me little ones, I'm not here to harm you," I said, trying to stand up slowly, without frightening them. "H-how do we know your tellin the truth?" Appleton asked, shaking in place. "I don't harm children, I've always looked after them, where I'm from," I answered. Honestly I adored children for there innocence and kindness, they seem to be the only ones that would calm me. "Well we don't know if we should believe you or not," Sweetie Belle said. "You completely destroyed our club house." "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. If it makes you feel better, I'll rebuild it for you," I offered, both of them turned to each other and began whispering. "Alright we'll trust you, but if you try anythin' funny. Mah sista will buck you into next week." "Very well, but all I ask for is some answers about your world," I asked. "Well....I guess that'll be okay....wait are you from another planet?!" Sweetie asked. I couldn't help but chuckle just a bit. I could tell what was about to happen next. "That means y'all an alien!" She pointed out. "This is so cool, an actual alien!" "Wait...he's an alien." Both of them said in unison as they looked at me scared, but excited at the same time. It was cute to watch. "As I've said before I'm not here to harm you. Still I'm curious, who are you?" I asked. "Well I'm Applebloom, and this here is my friend, Sweetie Belle," she introduced. "Hi!" Sweetie said cheerfully. "Who are you mister?" Applebloom asked. "I'm Suicune, it's a pleasure to meet you two." I answered smiling at the two fillies. Perhaps things won't be so bad. > Betrayal > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Betrayal "Equestria?" The name sounded so foreign to me as Sweetie Belle and Applebloom explained it to me. After fixing they're club house, I began asking questions about the land, and from what they told me. Equestria was probably the safest place on this world. For some reason I found it hard to believe, but it was interesting to hear. "So these Princesses raise both the sun and moon?" I asked. "Yep, Celestia raises the Sun, and Luna raises the Moon," Sweetie Belle explained. Very interesting. "By the way, how did ya'll fix our club house? Do you have magic or somethin?" Applebloom asked, I could only chuckle at her response. "Where I'm from, anyone can learn magic, I learned when I was only fifteen," I explained to them. "So where are ya from?" Applebloom asked, which only soured my mood a bit. "I'm sorry little one, but that is for another time," I answered, honestly I didn't want to even remember my old home, or my old life in general. After all I left to pursue a new life. "Aww.... Can you please tell us?" Sweetie Belle asked, both began sticking out their lower lips with they're eyes slightly watering. It was cute that they thought puppy dog eyes would work on me, but just thinking about my home made me sick. "You two must understand that my world is far different from yours and is something I'd like to keep private until I get settled in this new world of yours," I said in a stern, but calm voice. I didn't want the two to run off screaming and I wanted to learn more from them. "Sorry Mister Suicune," They both said, I could but smile at their innocence. "It's quite alright young ones. You were only curious about my origins, but when the time comes I'll tell you." "Well.... What can ya tell us?" Applebloom asked politely. I began to think of what I could tell them, but not much came to mind. "I was a protector in my realm." "So you were like a Super Hero!!" Sweetie Belle said, grinning adorably. "In a sense I guess I was...." I said hesitantly. If they found out what I actually did. They'd never trust me again. "That's so cool!!! Scootaloo is gonna flip when she sees you!!" Applebloom said, but I gently pressed my paw against her mouth. "I think it would be wise if we kept my presence a secret for now." "But why? Everypony would love to meet you!" Sweetie Belle explained. "And yet, you were terrified of me when we met. Imagine the other ponies reaction? They would fear me which is something I want to prevent. I'll introduce myself to your people once I learn and understand you're world. Only than will it be easier for them to look at me, not as a monster, but as someone who's trying to find a home," I explained. Both of them didn't know what to say after that and simply nodded in response, but Sweetie Belle looked at me, wanting to say what was on her mind. I looked at the two fillies, waiting for there response. "Can we at least tell Scootaloo? She's our best friend and she also hangs out at the club house just like us." Sweetie asked. I suppose one more couldn't hurt. "Very well, but I'm counting on you to keep my identity a secret," I said, both nodded in agreement. "What time is it exactly?" Sweetie asked, I placed my paw on my chin and thought for a brief moment. "I'd say half an hour past noon," In all honestly it was just a guess. Time does fly by when you're talking. "Oh, Gosh! We're already late!" Applebloom shouted. "Late for what exactly?" I asked, tilting my head slightly. "It's Twilight time!" After hearing that, I was just confused. "Oh, right it's something we do with our friend Princess Twilight. We'll explain it to you once we get back," Sweetie said, running off with Applebloom. I simply shrugged and decided a well deserved nap was in order. Without a second thought I climbed up the rebuilt Club house and entered inside. My mind and body felt fatigue and I simply collapsed to the ground, I felt like something was pulling me somewhere and yet my body remained in the same place. My eyes felt so heavy that I was at the point where I couldn't keep them open any longer. I began to stir at the sound of footsteps that sounded familiar. It was than that I immediately opened my eyes and leaped from the floor into a fighting position. I was met with the other four members of The Elder Siblings. Rayquaza, of the East Region. Elysium, of the South Region. Ozai, of the West Region And of course the most powerful of us all... Lord Yasha, was the ruler of The Displaced, he watches over us and protects us from harm, Knowing him he was here for one reason only.... Me. "I had a feeling that you'd find me, but I didn't think it would be this soon," I said, glaring at them. "Did you honestly think that you'd get away Scott-free, you are suppose to be in charge of the North Region, not Zsoltan!" Elysium shouted. In all honesty I never liked her in the least, she was always a pain to work with. "Elysium, I'll handle things from here, so Please stay out of this?!" Yasha stated, as he walked up to me. I didn't bother to look at him, he was once considered my friend, but now we were complete strangers. "Why did you leave?" He asked. "A better question would be 'Why Not?' I've spent over four thousand years watching over the realm of The Displaced and for what? Just to lose everything I cared about," "Your acting like a child.... you knew the consequences when you accepted this task, Suicune. Regardless once we figure out how to rebuild the portal, you'll return to The Displaced immediately," Yasha stated, I could only scuff at the ridiculousness that he was spouting from his mouth. "No." "No?" "No, I won't go back to that hell hole, and you can't make me you fool!" I shouted, as my claws began to dig into the ground as they all looked at with shock. "How dare you speak to him in such a manor! Once we find out where your hiding I'm going to make you beg for life!" She argued "Elysium! That is enough!" He demanded, but suddenly Ozai stepped in. "My Lord, she was only defending your honor and I have to agree that....Suicune must be punished by death for abandoning us. After all we wouldn't want our realm to be discovered," Ozai explained, giving me the stink eye. "I hate to admit, but Ozai does have a point my lord," Rayquaza said, agreeing with Ozai and Elysium. I could only look on with betrayal. The only people I knew left had betrayed me, I could only hope that Yasha would over rule this and live me be. Yasha soon turned towards me, but said nothing for quite sometime, at least for a bit until he finally said. "I'm sorry my brother, but seeing that the rest of the council has come to an agreement. Once we complete our portal you shall face judgment," With all said and done I had awoken immediately, sweating with tears streaming down my face. I was betrayed by my fellow displaced and now I have no one. I'm alone now. I wiped away all my tears and got up on my paws and headed out left the clubhouse for a walk through the Apple Orchard. Even escaping to another world, my past will always come haunt me and I hate it. I gritted my teeth as my class dug deep into the earth beneath me, as I growled in anger. I knew I shouldn't let my emotions get the better of me, but it hurt so much. I began to take deep breaths as I retracted my claws, heading back to that club house to wait for those little fillies to show. I was wondering why they haven't showed up yet, it's been more than an hour. And just like that I began hearing they're voices as if I was asking for them. Of course I thought it was just a coincidence or something. "We're tellin ya Scoots there's a real live alien in our club house an he's amazing.," Applebloom said, praising me. "Yeah, true he did trash our clubhouse, but he fixed it with his magic quickly," Sweetie Belle added. "I'm still having a hard time wrapping my head around this.... You mean to tell me that you let an alien into our clubhouse without asking what it's really up to?" The I assumed was Scootaloo asked and even though I had said I wasn't here to bring harm. She did make a good point. Why didn't they try harder to stop me? Are they smarter than I give them credit for? Is it all an elaborate scheme to lure me into a trap? "Well at first we were going to tell somepony about him, but he was really kind to us and helped rebuild the clubhouse. Trust us Scoots he's not going to hurt us." "Well I still say we should keep an eye on this....Sui-cune guy until we find out what he's really up too. Besides I doubt he's that tough," Ouch for a little filly she can say some really hurtful things. I slowly crept up to them with a smirk. When I approached behind the three little fillies, casting my shadow over them. Scootaloo, slowly turned her head and looked directly above, frightened by the looks of it. "Boo," "Ahh!" They all screamed very loudly as I covered my ears. "For a couple of fillies you sure can scream loudly," I said rubbing my ears from the ringing going on. "Is.... that him?" Scootaloo asked, both Sweetie Belle and Applebloom nodded with a light chuckle. "You sure got us good, Mister Suicune," Applebloom said, with a grin. I couldn't help but grin back, my mood was slightly better now that they were here. They took my mind off things. "I take it you must be Scootaloo?" I asked, laying down. The little orange pegasus nodded in response, still a little frightened. "You have nothing to fear little one, it was only a little scare. Now I take it you three have more questions?" "Yeah we do?" Both Sweetie Belle and Applebloom said in agreement as they sat down. I could only suppress my chuckle. Scootaloo looked at me with distrust and I wouldn't blame her, after all I'm an outsider from another world. Still I think she did know I wasn't going to hurt her as she approached us and took a seat next to her friends. "Can you tell us some stories about your homeland?" Sweetie Belle asked. "You really want to know don't you?" I asked, raising a brow, they all nodded in excitement. "Very well I guess I'll tell you a bit about my origints, but you have to promise not to tell anyone about this?" I asked, and they nodded in agreement. Even if my fellow displaced do come, these fillies will know of our world. "Very well I should start with how our world was formed." > Different Lifestyle > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Different Lifestyle "My world was once a beautiful place." "The sky's were pure purple and the clouds were white as snow." "The one thing I enjoyed the most about it was the meadows, it was filled with luscious blue roses and daisies. It was a calm and peaceful place and I would always go there to take in the scenery every morning," "But of course that peace could not last long, ever since I became the founder of my world I had too... take responsibility for those around us. Before I was only seen as a leader, but thousands of years have passed and I was seen as a deity." "So you're just like Celestia?" Sweetie Belle asked. "In a sense yes, but I'm nothing like your ruler, She managed to keep her kingdom safe from corruption, where I failed to do so. I'm only here to start over and find a new purpose in my life," I answered. "Well what are you going to do?" Scootaloo asked, I could only place a paw on my chin and hummed to myself. Trying to think of what a former ruler could do? "I honestly have no idea? Guess this means I'll have to figure it out as I go along," I said aloud. They all looked confused when I answered. "What do ya mean you don't have any idea?" Applebloom asked, while giving me a ludicrous look as if I said something wrong or funny. Maybe both? "How can you just come from another world without so much as a plan or even a backup plan?" Sweetie asked. I could only shrug in response. "Well y'all have to come up with something otherwise there's gonna be trouble." Applebloom suggested, I was a bit surprised that these fillies were thinking ahead of me. Where I on the other hand have planned on escaping my world, but not so much as think of something to do for a living. "Perhaps I should have thought ahead, but I don't think it matters at the moment after all I have time to figure things out on my own," I explained. "Is there anything awesome you can tell us? I want to know about all the monsters and aliens from your world?" Scootaloo asked, I could only chuckle at her enthusiasm to learn more about my world. "No, I want know what kind of magic they can do?" Sweetie asked. "Well I think we should ask what kinda places he visited?" Applebloom countered. "Listen little ones, there's plenty of time for questions later, but at the moment I do believe it is time for me to take a look around this town of yours," I said. "Aww," they all said at the same time. Honestly it was just adorable to see them pout. "Don't worry, I'll be back soon." I said, as I turned invisible. When I was apart The Elder Siblings I had to learn a lot of different techniques and abilities to be able to protect both myself and the other Displaced. With that said I took off, leaving the young fillies confused, it seemed rude, but I had to see where I was exactly. I continued to run across the orchard until I arrived at an open road. It was than I noticed the small town off in the distance. I should be fine as long as I have my invisibility on, then I should be fine. I didn't know what to expect as I approached the little town, it was than I noticed a large colorful sign a few feet in front of me with a one word written, Ponyville. It was a peculiar name for a town, but just by looking around I can see the pun in the name since there was only ponies as far as I could see. When I entered the town I made sure that I was still invisible. I noticed that everyone...er everypony in town was happy, which was something I haven't seen in over a millennium. It was actually peaceful to see these ponies smile and laugh as I pasted by them, unnoticed by the crowd. Fillies would run around playing and laughing and I felt a bit of joy as a smile slowly creeped up across my face. I was reminded of the golden age of the Displaced when I first became an Elder Sibling, I remembered when I wasn't treated as a deity, but as leader who cared for everyone and newcomers. But that legacy had drifted off into the past as a corrupt system took over all of us and we were treated as gods. It sickened me more, but looking at this town, the way it is, just brought me peace. "Hey Rarity?" A voice called. I turned to see a lavender Unicorn with what appeared to be wings on its back was talking to a white unicorn. Which wasn't something I was expecting a unicorn to have might I add. "Do you still have that book on obscure unicorn history that I lent Sweetie Belle?" Hearing her name caught my interest as I approached closer to listen to their conversation. "Sadly I don't have it with me, it's still with her I'm afraid," The one named Rarity replied. She must be Sweetie Belle's mother, the resemblance is uncanny. "Is she still having a hard time with the curriculum? I can tone it down if you want?" Twilight asked, as the two began walking together. "Actually no she's actually enjoying her time with you, but she hasn't finished the book quite yet. Since she has been taking notes and conducting her own research in her room. If I didn't know any better I'd say she was turning into you," Rarity teased, causing the lavender unicorn to blush slightly. "Well ever since Applebloom left with Applejack to Appleloosa and Scootaloo leaving with Rainbow Dash for flight training..." "I know and me leaving to Manehatten for the week, and having her stay at your place for the duration of my trip," Rarity added. "Yeah, well she's been learning a lot and I have to say that she's been excelling in most categories of magic usage. It's actually very impressive." Twilight commented, and I have to say that I was actually impressed by Sweetie's abilities as well. "She's really come along that far? Huh, I never would have thought that my little sister would be a magic prodigy," She stated. Oh, sister....that does make a lot more since now.. "Well she has been working hard and now that her friends are back, she can actually take sometime to relax for awhile. But I also wanted to tell you something?" Before she could reply I accidentally knocked over an old barrel and spilling water. Not wanting to be noticed, I leaped into the air and landed on the rooftop of a building. Both mares were startled, but figured that they must have bumped into and didn't notice. For the slightest moment I believed that I would have been discovered, but I guess I got lucky. I can't afford to make a mistake like that again, but I do wonder what else do these ponies have to talk about? I decided to keep my distance for now as I listened in on their conversation again. "Really does Celestia know what you've been planning for her?" "No not yet, but I was planning on telling her once I spoke with Sweetie Belle first," Twilight answered, but I didn't know what they were talking about now. I decided that I eavesdroped enough and decided to continue my exploration of the town. It was than the most delicious aroma filled my nose with delight as I approached this bakery that was shaped as a gingerbread house. Which was weird considering that it should be impossible to make it completely out of gingerbread, but it could only look like that and it's not really that at all. Still my nose told me to enter and I did so obligey as I heard my stomach growl. I realized that I haven't eaten since I arrived in this world. I know this is wrong and risky, but I'm certain they won't mind a few pastries missing. Right? I slowly made my way inside the bakery and noticed that there wasn't that many ponies, aside from a few. Which made things slightly easier for me, but in the back of my mind, I knew that if my sister caught me doing this, she'd never let me live this down. I slowly approached the counter and saw a fresh batch of chocolate cupcakes, just sitting there. It's not cake or fish, but it'll do. Without a second to lose I quickly grabbed a cupcake with my paws, removed the wrapper and devoured the pastry in a single bite. I would have felt guilty, but eating it was just so worth it. But I did felt like a child now that I think about it. In my younger years I was a bit of a thief when it came to food in the Displaced. I can't believe I had to resort to thievery just to get a little bit of food in me. It's ridiculous, but it's better than living in a corrupt system. Compared to my previous life this was pretty much a fair trade and even though this is only a one time thing. I wasn't planning on stealing anymore. I would earn my pay and find my own place to live, but at the moment I didn't have anything to even afford myself food. "Hey, does anypony know what happened to the cupcakes?" A loud high pitched voice asked. From the sounds it was female. "Huh, so nopony did?" Soon a very pink pony came into view and began looking around. "Pinkie we'll just make another batch," Another mare called out. For a moment I thought I only took one, but after look at all the wrappers on the ground I must have eaten them while I was in deep thought. Well so much for not stealing anymore. "Okay Mrs. Cake, just give me a second," before I knew it, she placed a napkin right next to me with another cupcake and smiled. "Enjoy the cupcakes Mr. Invisible friend." After that she bolted towards the kitchen, leaving me completely astonished. She was able to see me, even with my invisibility spell on and yet she saw me. But how? At the time I didn't think to hard on it, as I took the cupcake with kindness and left a note for the young mare on the counter, before leaving It only had two words written on it. Thank You, > Finding a Purpose > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Finding a Purpose After leaving the bakery I couldn't help but wonder... How was she able to see me? Or at least know I was there? It didn't make any sense and if there's one thing I dislike it's not understanding something, but that would have to wait until I've gotten use to the town first and see if it's a good place to stay. Back at the Displaced it was always depressing and fights would always break out among the four regions when things didn't go someone's way. True we've maintained peace with one another, but I began to realize that unlike my world, this one was perfect. I felt at peace and I was going to do everything in my power to prevent the Elder Siblings from harming this world or it's inhabitants. A part of me still had a hard time believing that they would consider killing me, just because I left the that hell hole. Of course they wouldn't want anyone wanting to discover their precious realm. In the past we made a vow to return home, but it seems that power had gotten to all of them and have no reason to return to the lives we once had on Earth. It was sad and disappointing that they would chose power over family and friends. It was the one thing I cared about the most in life, but my friends and family are gone, all because of this stupid curse I was given. I shouldn't have opened that blasted email! Because of me she's gone.... I could only dig my claws into the ground as I felt a single tear drip from my cheek, I was alone in this world and everyone I knew was either gone or corrupted by power. All I wanted was to return home, or even find peace, but now I may have a chance to live in peace. Just like she wanted me to do. Rest in peace my dear sister... I noticed that the sun was beginning to set and the ponies began saying their goodbyes to each other as they returned to their homes for the evening. I figured that it was time for me to return too the Clubhouse and get some rest. But I began to doubt that since those little fillies still had questions about my world. I don't blame them of course, all children are curious of the unknown and that's what I also love about children. They are willing to learn more. It didn't take long for me to arrive at the clubhouse, and when I did I dropped my invisibility and hopped on top of the little clubhouse. It seemed like there wasn't anyone inside so I figured that the little fillies had gone home. Meaning that I could get a quiet night sleep after all. Once I entered I headed towards the center of the room and laid down like I did previously. But right as I was about to close my eyes I began to here whispering in the dark and suddenly the lights turned on and heard a battle cry "Get em," Before I knew it I was under attack by three adorable little fillies as they giggled as the pounced on me. I couldn't help but smile as they hopped up and down on my stomach. Did it hurt, just a little, but it was still adorable nonetheless. "We totally surprised you didn't we?" Scootaloo said, laying on my back. "You indeed have, young ones," I answered, with a light chuckle. "See guys I told you it would work!" Sweetie declared, as she began to pull out three sleeping bags from the corner. "I guess ya'll we're right Sweetie," Applebloom agreed as she tried to calm the giggles she still had in her. These little fillies are trying to kill me with cuteness. I can't imagine a better way to die... hehehe. "So do you three mind telling me why your all still up? I would have thought you would have all gone home?" I asked, but what they said next was something I hadn't expected. "We all were all planning a sleepover for a week now and we didn't know where to have it, but than when Applebloom mentioned that you were sleeping alone. We thought we could give you some company," Scootaloo replied. "Yeah even though ya'll are a stranger, we thought that you would get lonely here at the clubhouse by yourself," Applebloom added. "So our solution was to stay with you for the night," Sweetie also added, but I wondered why they would do such a thing for someone like me? "Not that I don't mind, but why did you plan this?" I asked, politely. "Because nopony should eva' be alone, even if ya'll are an alien," Applebloom said, as she slipped into her sleeping bag and laid next to me. 'Sigh' "Yeah we also thought it would be cool for you to join our club, The Cutie Mark Crusaders!!" Scootaloo shouted, causing me to raise an eyebrow. "It's what we call ourselves as we help ponies find their purpose," Sweetie Belle added. Mentioning that was something I truly admired in a person... or pony in this case. Something the Displaced used to be, before it all withered away into the past. But I'm trying not to focus on that, since I was with children after all. "I find that very admirable little ones, and helping others find their place in this world is something I also admire. You girls are going to do great things someday," I said to them as they gasped with joy and I meant every word it. "You really think so?" Sweetie asked. "I know so Sweetie Belle," I answered, giving a slight grin. "Well, Mister Suicune, what do ya'll plan on doin?" Applebloom asked. I think she asked me this before, but even after exploring the town, I still couldn't think of what I wanted to do here in Equestria? I guess I also needed to help finding a place here. "Well I don't know yet, but I'm sure I'll find my purpose someday," I answered, patting Applebloom on the head gently, as she snuggled close to me, giving a loud yawn. I could only smile at the tired fillies. "I think it's time for all of you to rest now," "But we're....*Yawn* Tired yet," Scootaloo said, curling up as she slowly fell asleep on my back. "Sleep well little Scootaloo..." I soon turned towards Sweetie Belle who looked at me with curiosity. "Is there something wrong Sweetie Belle?" "No, but I was just curious, do you have a family?" she asked me, I could only look away as I felt a bit of anger rise within me. "No... Sweetie... I don't....not anymore," I answered, as I laid my head down against the floor, trying to suppress my tears and memories. It hurt just thinking about my old friends and loved ones. "What happened?" she whispered to me. "That is a story for another time little one, it would be best if you got some rest for the day tomorrow," I said, closing my eyes, trying to fall asleep until "We could be your family, Mister Suicune," "I'm flattered, but thank you Sweetie Belle, but we've just met and it will take sometime for me to consider your offer," I whispered to her. "Oh, okay than, well good night Mister Suicune," "Good night little one," I replied In the realm of the Displaced, Lord Ozai and Elysium had met in privately to discuss matters on the former Elder Sibling Lord Suicune. It had been a day since he abandoned them and knowing that the secret of their world was put in jeopardy because of some fool. "I think it's time we take matters into our own hands, Ozai," Elysium offered. "I agree, I beginning to question Lord Yasha's authority and with the release of the Warden I think it's time I send in some warriors of mine to try and take care of our problem," Ozai suggested. "Who'd you have in mind?" she asked. "These two have been aching for a chance to prove that they're worthy of being a member of the Elder Siblings and I think that this is the perfect opportunity to test them," "Hmm...very well I guess I can trust you, but still we'll need the Wardens help if we're going to make this happen," she added as she looked at the profiles of the two he suggested. "Trust me Monster X and Beast King can get the job done," Ozai said as an evil smirk appeared across his face. "Very well than, but I shall also be sending in my warriors, just in case yours so happen to fail their objective," She added, smiling wickedly. > Discovery > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Discovery I couldn't remember the last time I've woken up with the Sun? In the Displaced there was only the light created by myself and the Elder Siblings. The world I lived in wasn't perfect and there were times I wished it was, but for the first time in a long time, I had awoken with the Sun. It reminded me of old life back on Earth, back when I took the it for granted, but now I had a second chance to enjoy it. I lifted my slowly, so I wouldn't wake up the fillies up, but I realized that Scootaloo was still sleeping soundly on my back, even though it was cute to watch them sleep, I needed to get outside to stretch my legs. It was hard to believe that these fillies didn't tell their families of my existence. Even though I had enjoyed my time with them, it was time for me to begin my search for a home. I slowly used my powers to levitate the young filly off my back and laid her next to her friends. These fillies are literally trying to kill me with cuteness aren't they? I couldn't help but smile at them as I exited the clubhouse, to take in the fresh morning air. It had been a long time since I felt a bit of happiness since I left the Displaced. After all those years being trapped in that awful place, I am finally free from them. They maybe after me, but without the proper equipment and Exuberant's memories wiped, it'll take them over one thousand years to escape that world. It was than I began to enter the place that the ponies feared for some reason, the Everfree Forest, the scariest and most dangerous place in Equestria, so they claim, but I figure that there has to be some kind of river with fish in it. I was desperate and I wasn't going to take or steal apples without permission. One, it's rude to wake someone up this early in the morning and secondly, stealing is wrong. The only reason why I took those cupcakes was because I was desperate for food the other day and the pink pony did forgive me for it, even though I have no idea how she knew I was there... did she smell me? Or did she have some kind of power that allows her to see invisible objects or beings? It was a headache to think about it, but I have a feeling that I'll learn about the ponies abilities sooner or later. I have an idea, but I needed to know more, but my main priority was to find a new home along with some food of my own. It was hard for me to remember the last I actually went fishing. I've been used to having servants bring me food. But it didn't matter to me as I entered the forest to find that it wasn't as bad as those fillies described it. There wasn't anything dangerous about this forest as far as I could see, but in the past when I was young I would let my guard down a lot, but ever since I got involved in the first Displaced war, I haven't let my guard down ever since. Even though the forest was harmless itself, the only thing I needed to worry about was what lurked within. "I do wonder what kind of creatures lay ahead?" I asked myself as my muzzle formed into a smirk. I couldn't help it as continued down the walkway into the Everfree for the first time. "Let's just hope that I find something to cut loose on while I'm in here. After all it has been a long time since I've had any sort of action." In the city of Canterlot, Princess Celestia began to walk down the halls of the castle, enjoying the moment of peace from the nobles and other upper class ponies that have been getting on her nerves lately. Peace and quiet was all that she asked for and nothing more, but every now and then she needed a little alone time. She soon entered her sleeping chambers to spend a few hours of her time catching up on her reading. "It's been so busy lately, that I haven't even relaxed for a moment," With a deep sigh she began to look out her window, noticing two little fillies playing outside as their parents smiled in delight, embracing each other. Celestia wondered what it would be like to live like a normal pony again, to have fun and not have to deal with so much paperwork and snobbish nobles. It had been so long since she was a filly and she wanted nothing more then to be normal. All she desired was to be like her former student, Twilight Sparkle to have friends like her and maybe even find a stallion she could love and cherish. But all she could do was sigh as she returned to her bed and opened a romantic novel of an alien princess falling in love with the Prince of Equus. It was a popular story nowadays and even Celestia fantasized about meeting the one for her. She doesn't know why, but she has been interested in dating again, but there hasn't been a single pony she thought was her type as ponies say now. I just wish I could have one day to be like everypony else and not have to constantly deal with political businesses or nobles. But I can't change that and the I really should get out more if thoughts like that appear more.. But her thoughts were soon interrupted with the sounds of knocking coming from her door, curious she opened the door with her magic only to see her little sister, Princess Luna. She looked exhausted as she let out yawn. "Sister, shouldn't you be.... downstairs in the throne room? It's 11:30 in the... morning." "I'm merely taking a break Luna, it's been stressful lately," she replied turning back towards her book. "Sister why don't you go out and try to befriend a new pony... Surely that could be better than being cooped up in here and reading... boring romance novels." Celestia didn't know whether to take offence to that or not, but she made a valid point. So why can't she go find a friend, or even a stallion to spend her day with? "As tempting as that may be, you know that I can't leave otherwise the ponies here might start to panic again after... last years incident," She mentioned, Luna could only chuckle nervously about what had happened last year. Both of the Princesses decided to dismiss what had happened last year. "Well... you should at least try to make a new friend, that won't do it just because your the princess," Luna rebutted, but Celestia simply smiled as patted her sister on the head, embarrassing the moon princess. "Tia! You know I don't like it when you do that!" "Oh, Luna you know you like it," she teased, leaving the room. And with that Celestia's break ended, but not without leaving with Luna's words of advice. Perhaps I should consider what Luna had said... I think I really should find a stallion I could spend time with... As longs as he's tall as has good manors and isn't so full of himself... Cutie Mark Crusaders had all slept soundly as birds began to chirp as they flew by their club house. They began to stir from their slumber, rubbing their eyes as Applebloom let out a yawn. "Hey ya'll where's Mister Suicune?" "I don't know... but I think we should... find him," Sweetie suggested, stretching out her limbs as she stood up. "But... we don't even know where he is?" Scootaloo said, but Sweetie belle had a crazy thought of where the legendary pokemon might be, but it was a big if. But she had a feeling that she was right. "Well girls if I had to guess than he has to be-" Before she could even finish Applebloom intervened "In the Everfree Forest!" Applebloom declared, causing the little unicorn to puff out her cheeks in anger. "I was going to say that!" she said, but both of her friends ignored her as they exited the club house. "Let's just see if we can find him, before Applejack knows we're gone." "What makes you think he'll be in there?" Scootaloo asked. "Well he did mention in his stories that he ate a lot of fish, and there aren't any ponds here that have any so mah guess is that it has be in the Everfree Forest," Applebloom replied as they began to head make their way out of the acres. "Alright... well we better get started," Scootaloo said, as Sweetie trotted up ahead to find their new friend. But they didn't know that they were being watched by something with dark red eyes. That's right little ones... lead me straight towards the traitor! > Forest and Memories > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Forest and Memories I wondered the forest, searching for food or even a river to replenish myself, but almost an hour had passed and I have yet too find any source of food or water, but that didn't stop me from searching high and low. I didn't know if leaving those fillies alone was a bad idea or not, if I was lucky they'd think I was just a dream, a memory to be forgotten. True I could have erased their memories of me with no issues, but children deserve to make memories and I'm sure that when they grow up I'll be nothing more than a imaginary friend created in the mind of a child. I continued my travels through the Everfree Forest, until I noticed a pair of yellow eyes stare at me from within the shadows of the forest. The creature began to growl as it stepped out to face me. What I didn't expect was it to be a wolf made from wood as it approached me, I figured it was created from some kind of magic from a warlock. "Why are you here stranger?" "I'm not here to cause trouble... creature! I'm simply searching for some food and water," I answered, judging from it's voice it was obviously female as it began to sniff me. "I am a Timberwolf named Akino daughter of the Alpha wolf Okami, but I never seen anything like you before let alone another creature that could understand me?" She said looking at me strangely as she approached me. I could only roll my eyes in response, before turning my head to the side. "What are you exactly?" "I'm the legendary Pokemon, Suicune and as I have said, I'm not here to cause trouble for you," I repeated before shoving passed her, she simply growled at me. "If your planning to attack me, it wouldn't be wise... not only am I larger than you, but I have power that one can only dream of having wolf! So I suggest that you return to your pack!" "You dare walk into my clans territory and threaten me! Who do you think you are?!" She barked as she bared her fangs at me. I couldn't help but smirk at the little wolf as she tried she tried to bite me with her sharp jaws. I evaded her every time she tried to bite or claw at me, before I lifted her up in the air with my magic, bringing her close to meet my eyes. "This is a fight you won't win little wolf, so I suggest that you leave now before you regret it!" With a slight growl, I threw Akino towards a tree with my magic. The sounds of branches cracking left an irritating sound as she howled in pain, I warned her, but she didn't listen. If I had to guess I'd say that her pride and anger was her greatest weakness. "M-my pack will hunt you down... for what you did," She growled, limping into the woods. I warned her... guess there's nothing I can do about it for now. As I continued my way through the forest, I had finally came across a small pond, even though the pond itself looked disgusting it was nothing my powers could not fix. With a single touch from my paw, the bacteria in the water began to vanish as the pond began to glisten brightly under the sun as I slowly climbed in. I felt my own strength was returning as I no longer felt hunger driving me insane anymore, it was peaceful, quiet as birds chirping flew by. Hard to believe that it's been almost two thousand years since I've had to use that technique... besides I don't think I could bring myself to steal any kind of food from the ponies... it wouldn't feel right. Even though this world is alien to me, these ponies have hearts as pure as they come. My kind would despise a world as peaceful as this... and will most likely try to conquer it... I promise I shall keep this world safe from the Elder's grasp. I began to rest my head against a rock as I relaxed into the water, my powers continue to grow in this world for some reason, but I didn't mind. It was better to be prepared for anything, rather than sit and wait for the danger come at full force. Ever since I came to this world, I haven't dropped my guard once as I explored and study the inhabitants. True it was only a little town, but from the knowledge those fillies had given me was more than enough for me to get a good idea on what I should worry about. Only three beings on this world could rival my own power, this Princess Celestia who raises the sun, Princess Luna who raises the moon, and Discord who embodies disharmony and chaos itself. In my previous life I've battle against all sorts of foes that possessed incredible power and only three beings have ever defeated me and they of course a friend who died before she could become an immortal and two Elder siblings that I despise more than anything now. I couldn't trust most displaced, but a selective few such as Exuberant, Zsoltan, and my two apprentices who would one day become my true successors. Of course I've given my position to Zsoltan, but he'll simply take my place until they are ready. "I do hope that those twins are alright?" I wondered to myself as I began to hum a little tone I've picked up from Sweetie Belle, I wouldn't admit this, but I find the music in this world to be both amazing and relaxing to say the least. I felt myself about to drift off, but I suddenly heard a familiar young voice call out to me. "Mister Suicune!!" I could only groan as I exited the water and drying myself off as I followed the sounds of the three fillies calling out to me. It took me no longer than a couple of minutes to reach them, due the a steep hill I had to climb up due to all the stones and twigs in place. "Little one why are you here?" I asked. "We were just wondering where ya'll went off too? Don't ya know that the Everfree is dangerous?" Applebloom asked, checking the area before looking back at me with concern. I couldn't help but chuckle as I leaned down to the three fillies eye level. "Listen little ones, in order for me to find my purpose, I need to start searching for it on my own. I promise that once I find it.. you'll be the first to know," I replied smiling at them as they looked at each other first, unsure whether or not to believe me, before looking back at me with a simple nod. "Very good little ones... Now I shall escort you back to the club house before your folks realize that you've traveled in the forest by yourselves." "But Mister Suicune? We want to stay with you!" Sweetie belle said. "Yeah... your our friend an we can't let you stay here all by yourself!" Scootaloo added. "I am capable of taking care of myself girls... We should get you all back... I know what will happen if your family finds out that you've traveled alone," I warned them, as they looked at me. "But your with us," Applebloom pointed out as I stared at her blankly. "That's not the point little one... Let's just head back before you do get in trouble," I said, lifting the three fillies onto my back with my magic and began heading back to the orchard. In another part of Equestria a wormhole opened up in the center of the badlands revealing two large massive figures coming from it. "Are you ready to finish the traitor Beast King?" "Hahaha... Only if you are X?" Beast replied as the duo began their journey to kill the former Elder Sibling, Lord Suicune. > Ronan the Accuser Part One > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ronan the Accuser Part One Celestia sat upon her throne, contemplating whether or not she should heed her sister’s advice and make a new friend. All the while, Prince Blueblood kept complaining about how they increase the space within his wardrobe and how commoners shouldn’t be allowed within the castle during this years Grand Galloping Gala, saying that they were unworthy slobs and how the Nobles were the only ones that should be permitted in the castle. “Allowing those commoners within castle grounds should be prohibited Auntie,” He declared as if his pompous ego couldn’t get any bigger. “There should be limitations on how you rule… I mean I understand why you allowed Twilight Sparkle and her friends, because they are the Elements of Harmony, but they should dress more appropriately when visiting-” Before he could finish Celestia stood up from her throne and looked at her nephew with disappointment. “Blueblood… I have heard enough, which is why I’m rejecting this ridiculous idea you have… everypony has rights to attend if they receive or purchased an invitation to this year’s gala. I expected better from you Blueblood and I’m not going to force my student or her friends to change just because you want them too. Now your time is up and I have other ponies waiting to speak. You are dismissed my nephew.” Without another word Blueblood simply bowed, before turning towards the doorway as his nonchalant expression turned into a scowl as he growled beneath his breath. As soon as he was gone, Celestia simply sighed as she shook her head, taking a seat back on her throne before awaiting the next noble to enter the room. For almost three and a half hours she’s been dealing with nobles and spent another hour dealing with Blueblood and she still had to deal with more. Sometimes Celestia wonders what life would be like if she wasn’t a princess, just having a normal life without dealing with nobles or any other princess duties. One can only have patience for so long- Her thoughts were soon interrupted as one her royal guards burst through the doors, panting as he approached her with concern. “Your… highness… there are two intruders discovered in the barracks… almost two dozen of guards were defeated by these… creatures, I’ve never seen anything like them before.” “Tell your troops to stand down and let me deal with them. I shall try to reason with them, but have your guards on standby if things begin to go south.” She explained and the guard could only nod as he lead the way towards the barracks. It didn’t take long for them to arrive towards the royal guard barracks and noticed the many guards scattered around groaning in pain as the doors to the barracks were closed. “They seemed to have barricaded themselves in… We can break the doors down if you wish your highness?” “There is no need for violence soldier… I’ll handle it from here. Just have these ponies taken to the infirmary immediately and have their wounds taken care of.” Celestia ordered gently with the guards all nodding in response as they picked up the injured with their magic or helping them up on their hooves as they trotted away, leaving the princess alone. “There is no need to be afraid! Please come out, I promise I’m not here to hurt you!” Celestia shouted hoping that whatever was inside would understand and come out willingly. And just like she had hoped two strange creatures with snow white fur and curved horns extended from the top of the heads, one was red and had two majestic wings while the other was purely black with a cold stare. “Do you understand what I’m saying.” “Yes we do understand… We tried to tell those guards that we meant no harm, but they attacked us without letting us explain. Almost forgot to introduce myself, my name is Spear,” He explained as Celestia raised a brow at him. “And I am his mate, Kindle and we didn’t mean to cause you any trouble Mrs?” She said as her wings folded in. “Celestia, Princess Celestia,” She said, smiling at the two strangers who gawked at her before bowing immediately. “Forgive us your majesty!” Spear pleaded as Celestia rolled her eyes at the two. “We didn’t know we were speaking with royalty.” “There’s no need for you two to bow, but I must ask… What are you? I’ve never seen anything like you before? Also why are you here?” She asked. “Oh, well… it’s a little hard to explain…” Kindle said, rubbing the back of her head with paw, but Celestia simply smiled at the two as she leaned down to their eye level. “Don’t worry, I’m willing to listen to what you have to say.” Back at the Everfree Forest, Suicune could only watch as the fillies slept soundly on his back since the trip was taking longer than expected, but he couldn’t help but smile at the adorable sight. They truly were young and innocent, it reminded him of the children back in the realm of the Displaced I wonder how Zsoltan is doing? Hopefully he’s faring well with the others. As time had passed, he was soon back at Sweet Apple Acres and headed straight towards the club house. Everything was going swimmingly for the Displaced Pokemon as he carried the fillies inside and set them gently onto their sleeping bags from the night before. It had been a long time since he had felt at peace and as he stepped out he felt the warm summer air blow through his mane as he closed his eyes, smiling as the air brushed against his body. Suicune wished that this moment could never end. But that all soon changed as beams of energy struck against his chest, sending the pokemon hurdling towards the ground, landing beside a tree. As he shook himself he noticed a figure standing not too far from him. The smoke soon cleared, revealing one of the Displaced’s evil criminals, Ronan the Accuser. “I’ve been searching for you for quite sometime now Lord Suicune… The Elder’s are so desperate to kill you that they’ve sent me to deal with you personally. As well as a few others, but they sadly won’t get the chance to exterminate you.” He stated, before shooting another beam of energy from his hammer. Suicune anticipated this and created a magic barrier around himself to hopefully divert the blast when it collided. When the smoke cleared, Suicune saw the Crusaders heads peeking out from their clubhouse before turning his attention back towards the Accuser. 'Children? If you can hear me, it means that I’m speaking to telepathically. Listen carefully, I need you three to get out of here as fast as you can. You can’t be here right now! Leave while you still can, alert the town of Ronan and hide!' The fillies nodded silently as they slowly climbed down from their clubhouse and slowly moved quietly away as Suicune kept his focus on Ronan. “Tell me why are you serving the Elders, Ronan? You hated them ever since we tried to lock you up in the prison, so why help them?” Suicune asked, before Ronan glanced at the treehouse and noticed tiny hoof prints on the ground, looking back at the legendary Pokemon. “Well it’s an opportunity to kill at least one of you and if I succeed I get to rule in your place, claiming immortality like you and be worshipped as a god.”he chuckled. “A God who only cares about bringing misery and pain to those around them. I’ve seen what you did when you robbed from our treasury.” Suicune growled as blue smoke seeped out from his mouth. The Accuser could only laugh as he another energy beam shot from it, but Suicune dodged it with ease, before firing off a beam of ice at the Kree, freezing him in place before striking him with an air slash, created by his tails sending him flying straight through the trees as the Pokemon followed after him. I’ve gotta get him out of here, otherwise those ponies will begin to panic seeing the two of us and they’ll never trust me after this. Suicune arrived to see the Kree pick himself up off the ground and turned towards the legendary Pokemon with a scowl. “I’ll admit that it was a good shot, but it’ll take a lot more than that to stop me Suicune!” “You know you can’t defeat me on your own Ronan! I could destroy you in an instant if I was so inclined to do so!” Suicune stated as he approached the Accuser. “But you’d never do it! You’ve grown soft over the years. Maybe you could kill me right here and now if you were yourself 4,000 years ago, but now you can’t even risk using your full power because you want to what? Change your old ways? Is that it? If so than I have nothing to worry about and once I finish you off, I’ll conquer this world for my own and destroy everything! Starting with those children that ran off! I could tell from the tracks they left behind, so there won’t be any issues for me….Hehehehehe!” The Kree cackled as he swung his hammer at the Pokemon, who grabbed it with his paw effortlessly and headbutted Ronan in the face, sending crashing towards the ground. Ronan soon got on his feet again and tackled Suicune into a tree and repeatedly jabbed him in his rib cage, before throwing him to the ground with force. The Accuser soon reached for his hammer. “Do you know that my Universal Weapon is capable of absorbing cosmic energy and once I snuff you out. My hammer will absorb all your powers, that way they don’t go to waste. NOW DIE!” With a loud roar Ronan brought his hammer down on Suicune’s back, sending a shockwave throughout the acres, causing the ground to crack and the air to be filled with smoke and dirt in the air. The Kree could only cough as he got up due to the force and backlash of his Universal Weapon, he could only laugh but noticed a figure still standing in the smoke. With a wave of his hammer the smoke cleared to reveal the Pokemon still standing without so much as a scratch on him. “Impossible… that should have destroyed you! You shouldn’t even be standing right now!” Ronan shouted as he took a few steps back from the Pokemon, sweat dripping down from his head as he aimed his hammer at the Pokemon once again. “You still don’t get it do you, Ronan? I may not be an Elder anymore, but that doesn’t mean my immortality has diminished in anyway. I’m giving you one chance to leave this world Ronan or I will kill you!” Suicune warned him as his eyes began to glow bright blue and the Accuser could only grunt before pointing his hammer at him. “I will not leave when I’m so close to attaining ultimate power! There is a way to kill you and I will take your powers, even if I have to rip you bit by bit just to get it!” Ronan threatened as he fired off another blast from his hammer as Suicune created a wall of ice to block it. The Kree was soon able to take flight in the air and fired multiple beams of energy at Suicune who dodged each one of them with speed and followed after him Damn it he’s heading towards the town! I have to stop him now, but… If I kill him, I’ll be going back to my old ways and the inhabitants of this world will fear me for what I am. They aren’t ready to see me like this, if I can weaken him enough then the ponies should be able to handle him. Or at least those elements of Harmony I’ve been hearing about. It’s worth a shot. Suicune leaped into the air as both his front paws began to glow before slashing at the air, creating ripples of slashes in air. “AIR SLASH!” The ripples in the air struck the Kree’s back, he howled in pain, the back of his armor was pierced with massive claw markings which only enraged him as he continued to make his way towards the town. Ronan knew that he could not defeat him with his raw power, but he had other ways to get what he wanted. “I’ll be sure to take a few of these ponies with me.” He whispered, only to be tackled into the center of the town with tremendous force. Ponies that were in the area were blown back by the force of the crash. Before they knew it both of the Displaced stepped out immediately, continuing their battle with one another. “You have all this power and you waste it to what? Hide away? Unlike you I would have used all that power to conquer this world and be like a god.” Ronan saw that the ponies were terrified of him and he relished in it as the Pokemon in front of him growled as blue smoke seeped out from his jaw like before. The Accuser could care less about the ponies but before Suicune could make a move he grabbed a white mare with a pink mane and what appeared to be a nurses hat and slammed her body to the ground before stepping on her back and held his hammer over the mare. “Ronan, release that pony now!” Suicune demanded, but the Kree could only laugh at him. “You are in no position to make demands deserter! I’ll let this pony go if you surrender and tell me how to obtain your so called powers!” Suicune could only growl at him and noticed the pony underneath the accuser was crying. “Please let me go-” “Silence peasant! You have no rights to speak to a god such as myself!” “RONAN!!! Let her go!” “Only if you tell me how to take your powers! I’ll give you until the count of three!!!” Slowly Ronan’s Ultimate weapon glowed bright red as he began to count down. “One……..Two…….” Suicune didn’t know what to do if he attacked him he’d kill that pony, but if he gives up his powers than Ronan would destroy everything in his path. What should I do? “Three!" To be continued. > Ronan the Accuser Part Two > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ronan the Accuser Part Two Suicune could only watch as Ronan held his hammer over the poor mare’s head, she cried, begging for him to let her go, but the Kree did not respond to her pleas and continued to cry. Everypony around the two displaced could only watch in fear, unable to do anything against the power of the Accuser. “RONAN!!! LET HER GO NOW!!!” Suicune roared out in rage, but Ronan did not flinch a muscle as his hammer began to glow a bright red. “I’ll release her once you tell me how to take your powers. And if you cooperate with me than maybe I’ll spare this pitiful village. You’ll only have until the count of three Suicune.” Ronan demanded, but Suicune could only growl in response. “One…” “Ronan you can’t possible understand the consequences of my powers. You’ll only bring pain and misery for yourself. I’ve been around long enough to know that eternal life is not a gift, but a curse! No good will come from this-” “I’ve heard enough out of you deserter! You were treated as a god and were worshipped by all! You lived a life of luxury and you threw it all away! Hehehe… It’s a real shame honestly, but that only means that I can take the mantle and obtain immortality.” He said with a smirk as he glanced back at the pony beneath his foot. “Two…” There has to be something I could do? I can’t let him kill that pony, but I can’t just let him take my powers… He’ll try to destroy this world. “This is your last chance!” He warned him a final time as his Ultimate Weapon glowed brighter, he smirked at the Pokemon. “Three-” But before he could kill the young mare, he was struck by a purple beam of magic and sent crashing towards the ground. The same lavender alicorn from the other day landed a few feet from us with the other Element Bearers not to far behind. Suicune couldn’t have been more relieved to see anyone or anypony as they say, but even so he could tell that she was not happy to see the two displaced, but turned his attention towards the nurse as she struggled to hooves and decided to help her. “Madam? Are you alright?” “I-I’m fine… W-who are you?” She asked, before earning a smile from the displaced that made her heart flutter at the sight. “I’m nobody special… Just someone here to protect you and everypony else.” Suicune answered with a wink before turning his attention towards Ronan. “Get to safety ma’am. I’ll take care of this murderer.” I better finish Ronan off now, before he can do anymore damage to the town. After that hopefully those ponies will listen to reason once this is all over. “Impudent little pony! I’ll be sure to exterminate you after I deal with-” Before Ronan could even finish, he was soon tackled to the ground by Suicune. The legendary Pokemon began to dig his claws into his chest before taking a bite at his shoulder. He then lifted him off the ground with his twin tails and slammed to the ground again and again, repeatedly before tossing him into a fountain. “Ronan! It’s time for you to surrender!” Suicune shouted only for Ronan to laugh in response. Soon Twilight approached the displaced Pokemon with a glare, her horn glowing brightly as the two stared down one another, before he returned his attention towards the Accuser. “And what if I don’t? You’ll kill me? Hahaha… You can’t because the ponies here will think you're no better than me.” Ronan said with a smirk and Suicune knew he was right as much he hated to admit it, but there was more to it than that. Suicune wanted ponies to see him as a normal being, someone that they could rely on. He didn’t want to be seen as a deity or as a monster anymore. “You’re right… I won’t kill you, but they will make sure you won’t hurt anypony here again!” Suicune stated, moving aside as the element bearers began to glow brightly with their manes colors altering slightly. Soon a bright rainbow fired from the six bearers, blasting Ronan with tremendous force. He watched in horror as his body began to slowly turn to stone. First his legs were solidify and his torso soon after. Slowly each part of his body was turned to stone and he was left with a look of anger and horror. Suicune could only sigh as he looked away from the Accuser, but soon noticed his weapon was laying on the ground. In order to prevent him from causing harm again if he were to escape his stone prison, Suicune crushed it into pieces with his paw began to take his leave. “Stay where you are… Whatever you are!” The Pokemon soon turned to face the Princess of Friendship and her friends, who each glared at him. Seeing this he simply rolled his eyes before speaking. “Is there something you want Princess?” He asked, raising a brow as the ponies around gasped as he spoke softly towards them. “Y-yes why are you here in Ponyville and where did you come from?!” Twilight demanded, only for him to shake his head in response. “You are not ready to hear my tale Princess of Friendship! You have no rights to give orders to those you have only met! I helped save your town from a dangerous being who would have killed that Nurse! I am not here to cause trouble and I will do everything in my power to defend myself if you only see me as a threat!” Suicune growled, before a blue pony with with a rainbow mane flew up towards him with a scowl, butting heads with him. “You have no right to talk to my friends like that Bub! Especially a criminal like you!” “And why should I care Rainbow Dash?! I’ve committed no crimes against you ponies and you automatically label me as a criminal! Tell me how’s that remotely fair?!” He asked only for the six ponies eyes to widen in surprise. “How in tarnation do ya’ll know her name?!” Applejack asked. “I’ve been here for a few days and was able to learn your names as well as learn some of your world’s history. I know who you all are and I do not fear you nor do I fear your princesses.” Suicune stated as he turned his back towards them and headed back to the Everfree Forest. “HEY!!! Get back here! You didn’t even tell us who you are?!” Twilight demanded and before he could enter the forest once again, he couldn’t help but smirk before turning his head back to face the ponies once again. “My name is Lord Suicune.” He answered before disappearing into the Everfree. “Come on girls! We gotta catch that creep!” Rainbow said, trying to chase after the legendary Pokemon, but was quickly grabbed by her tail in Applejack’s mouth. “It’s fine girls… We can’t do anything to him since he hasn’t exactly done anything wrong. We’ll have to either reason with him to tell us his story or wait for him to cause trouble. I have a feeling this won’t be the last we’ll hear of him.” Twilight explained. “I suppose that would be wise, after all we don’t want to get our hooves dirty. Right Fluttershy?” Rarity asked as the yellow pegasus smiled gently. “Oh yes, I’d rather wait then go into… the Everfree Forest. It’s much safer here in Ponyville.” Fluttershy agreed shyly. Rainbow for her part only groaned as she landed back on the ground beside her friends. “Are you guys serious?! He’s just going to cause trouble if we let him go! I say we go after that freak and make him talk!” “Rainbow he tried to save Nurse Redheart so I think it would be best to leave him be for now. Like I said, we’ll see him again if attacks like this keep happening. But if you really want to make sure, I’ll send a letter to Princess Celestia about this… Suicune character and hopefully she’ll be able to deal with him, but for now we should make sure everypony else is okay.” Twilight said before heading over towards Nurse Redheart who looked happy for some odd reason as a pink blush adorned her cheeks. “Are you okay Redheart?” “I’m perfectly fine… I was just remembering how that stranger tried to save me from that monster! I… I just wish I got his name so I could thank him properly.” Redheart answered as she tried to hide her blush, but failed to do so. “Well… He said his name was… Suicune I believe.” “Suicune…” Was all Redheart could say as she bowed to Twilight and began to make her way back to Ponyville Hospital with a gentle smile and a blush still adorning her cheeks. Back at the Everfree Forest, hours had passed and Suicune had managed to find a secluded cave that a had fresh spring water. The Pokemon had soaked himself in it for almost two hours after his fight with Ronan and he began to wonder if he could have done things differently than before. He had tried to change his ways by refusing to kill, but his hatred for the Elder Siblings and other displaced that were power hungry made it difficult for him. Now that they were traveling to this world just to kill him had put many of the inhabitants in danger. 'All I can do now is hope that the Elder Siblings never make their way to this world. My magic runes should prevent them from just crossing over the easy way and hopefully I won’t have to deal with them for at least a thousand years if I’m lucky. Still if they want a war…' “Then I’ll give them one!” He said aloud his eyes shimmered slightly as he held a look of malice for the displaced. “I’ll do whatever it takes to keep this world out of their hands.” In the Southern Region of the Displaced, Elysium sat upon her throne with a scowl on her face as she watched through an orb and witnessed one of her faithful servants were turned to stone. “Damn that arrogant child! I knew I should have sent someone else to handle this job!” “I take it your assassin failed to eliminate Suicune?” Ozai asked as he appeared behind her, earning a slight chuckle from the angel. “At least we know that he’s alive… Despite his current situation, I believe we may have learned a little bit about this world’s defences in a way. Now we can be better prepared next time to deal with him and those pesky ponies.” Elysium said, clenching her fists tightly before turning towards the firebender with a smirk. “All we need is a little more information about their world.” “Beast King and Monster X will gather the necessary data from this world and we’ll know how to counter against them.” Ozai said. “Fine the sooner we end Suicune, the sooner we can begin with phase four.” She reminded before the two began to laugh maniacally. ‘It would seem that my plan is working perfectly~’ A voice whispered in the shadows before vanishing without a trace leaving a single grey feather with smoke evaporating from it. > Celestial Change > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Celestial Change Two weeks has passed after Ronan’s defeat and Suicune had returned to the Everfree, while to everypony he was known as a stranger from the unknown. Nopony seem to know who or what he was, all except for three little fillies who had kept his secret. “Do ya’ll think Mr. Suicune will come back?” Applebloom asked as she looked out from her tree house. The Crusaders have awaited for the pokemon to return, but he didn’t for an odd reason. Applebloom and her friends were determined to find him again, but the question is? Where could he be? All they knew was that he was hidden deep within the Everfree Forest, “I don’t know Applebloom, but after what happened with that space alien, Twilight seemed to be on edge and has made things very difficult for us lately. Heck even my training in magic had to be pushed ahead just so I can protect myself if something like that happens again.” Sweetie Belle explained as she paced around the room. “I know what ya’ll mean Sweetie… Even Scootaloo had to go stay with her cousin in Cloudsdale until Twilight can find Mr. Suicune. It just isn’t fair!” Applebloom shouted, sitting down on her rump with a glare. The two fillies have agreed that it was unfair for everypony to treat Suicune like that, but there was nothing they could do. “Mr. Suicune will come back, soon I hope.” Sweetie said, before she looked at the clock on the wall, realizing what time it was she made a loud groan as she picked up her saddle bag. “Sorry Bloom, but I have to head back and do my next lesson with Twilight.” “It’s alright Sweetie, mind if I join ya? I really don’t want to be here so Applejack can make me do chores again!” Applebloom begged while her white unicorn rolled her eyes as nudged her on her shoulder. “Sure Applebloom, I’m sure Twilight won’t mind you being there!” Sweetie said cheerfully as the two fillies exited the treehouse only to see the legendary pokemon waiting for them outside by a tree. “MR. SUICUNE!!!” The Two fillies shouted with joy as they ran over to him who smiled back at them. “It’s good to see you two again!” He responded as he patted the two on the head with his paw, causing them to giggle when he began to rub their heads softly each. The displaced pokemon took a look at his surroundings before leaning down to the fillies level and began to whisper. “Children I must ask you something very important and you must keep it a secret. Tell no one about this, okay?” “Okay,” They both whispered back to him. “As you know, I’m from another world and I fear that my kind are trying to make their way to your world.” He said, causing the fillies to gasp. “I cannot defeat them on my own, so I’ll ask you… Will you be my students?” “YES!!!” The two shouted in excitement as the pokemon placed his paws over their mouths. “I expected as much… The reason why I ask is because I can tell that you two as well as your pegasus friend care very much about your family and friends and if my kind are coming here, than you’ll need to a way to protect them. So I shall be training you for the day you’ll have to defend your home.” Suicune explained as he began to make his way towards the Everfree once more. “We shall begin our training tomorrow at noon here, I hope to see you then little ones.” Without another word the legendary displaced vanished into the forest, leaving the crusaders with excitement and joy. Times were changing for them now that they were going to begin their training tomorrow. “What do ya’ll think Mr. Suicune is going to teach us?” Applebloom asked as Sweetie Belle shrugged. “Don’t know, but we better head to Twilight’s… Last time I was late she had me clean the castle’s library for a week.” Sweetie Belle said, shivering from the memories of cleaning the library. “Well we better hurry than!” Applebloom said, dashing ahead of her friend. “Hey! No Fair! You got a head start!” Sweetie Belle followed after her friend, giggling the two raced towards Twilight’s Castle. Back at Canterlot For a week Celestia has learned about the two creatures that have appeared in her kingdom and the reasoning for why they are here to begin with. As for Kindle and Spear the two had been acquainted with the castle staff and have been more than willing to cooperate with Princess Celestia. “So you mean to tell me that your… Superiors have asked for you to bring this former Elder to this other realm?” She asked as the two displaced nodded in response. “The Elders have been searching for him for quite sometime, while also trying to keep this quiet. It’s only in our best interest that we find our mentor and bring him home safely.” Kindle replied as she took a sip from the vintage wine that was served to her. “What else can you tell me of this… other Elder that has made his way to Equestria?” Celestia asked suspiciously as she looked at the two Absols with concern. Even though she had heard their tale, she still didn’t trust them, believing there was a lot more to it than they were letting on. Before Celestia could say anything she had soon received a letter from her former student Twilight Sparkle. Dear Princess Celestia As you know already Ponyville was invaded two weeks ago by strangers from the Everfree. The two had each possessed powers that were completely alien to pony magic of any kind. Even though we have successfully turned one of them to stone. One is still at large and is hiding within the Everfree Forest. Please send help! Yours Truly - Twilight Sparkle “Kindle and Spear… I’m afraid I’ll be leaving for a bit. My friend, Princess Twilight needs me in Ponyville right now!” Without a second thought Celestia stood up from her seat and began to make her way out of the throne room. “Princess Celestia? Would you like for us to join you?” Spear asked. “That won’t be necessary my friend… I’ll be fine on my own.” She replied, leaving the two displaced alone. “She knows where he is Kindle… I think it is time for us to intervene?” Spear said as his red eyes glowed brightly, illuminating the room. “As much as I would prefer to wait… This could be the only opportunity we’ll have to finally bring Lord Suicune home.” Kindle replied. The two nodded in agreement as Kindles paws began to glow as she slashed a gateway to their home realm. “We should report this to Lord Yasha immediately before we hunt for him?” Spear simply rolled his eyes as he followed his sister back to the realm of Displaced. The Everfree Forest Suicune had finally returned to his cave after briefly discussing to Applebloom and Sweetie Belle about becoming his students. It has been quite sometime since he took on students that would be suited to become the next protectors of the world, but before that can ever happen he’d have to create a new mantle for the two fillies before even thinking about giving them the responsibilities of elemental powers. “It has been quite sometime since I’ve created a mantle, but it shouldn’t take longer than a few minutes to make.” Suicune said to himself as he closed his eyes and began to dig his claws into the ground. With concentration, the ground began to crack, as a stone was pulled out of the ground. Soon water began to surround it the air twirled it around the stone. Suicune’s eyes began to glow as fire spewed from his mouth and consumed the stone. Before long all four elements were gathered and were slowly melding together. “WHEN THE FOUR ARE GATHERED, TWO SHALL BEAR THE MANTLE OF ELEMENTS!!!” With those words the elements had melded together completely, creating a bright light that blinded the pokemon as the cave began to shake. But Suicune was unaware that the shockwaves coming from the stone could be felt across Equestria. Once the transference was completed two small power crystals were created from the single stone. “Tomorrow, Sweetie Belle and Applebloom shall take up the mantle and become the protectors of this world.” Suicune said as he summoned a small wooden box with his magic and placed them in it gently. Creating the two gems had costed him a bit of his energy, but could recover with his regenerative healing factor or use his spring to help speed the process. He felt the latter was the better option and headed towards his spring. ‘Suicune can you hear me?’ ‘That voice? It couldn’t be?’ “King Ghidorah?! Why are you calling me right now?” Suicune demanded while he couldn’t see the three headed tyrant, he could still hear his laughter. ‘Aww… Is that anyway to treat your old mentor?’ “Ghidorah!” ‘Fine… I’m only calling you because it’s important. Did you create another Mantle?’ “Yes I have… I am going to train two fillies as my successors.” Suicune replied to the kaiju… wherever he is at the moment. “Anyways how are you?” ‘I’m doing very well… Now that Ember the Dragon Lord has become my wife… Might I add she’s very good in bed~’ “Okay nevermind! Please leave my mind and go… Urgh... Sleep with your wife and let me return to my work.” Suicune said, shivering from the thought of who would even be with the three headed tyrant. ‘Very well… But just so you know Suicune, even you can’t deny something like love.’ Soon their conversation ended and Suicune was left alone with his thoughts. He didn’t know why King Ghidorah would say something like that, but he decided not to dwell too much on that thought as he exited the spring and began to make his way out of the cave. He figured he should get out of his cave more often to take in the wonderful view of the Everfree Forest. It was almost peaceful. It was until he began to feel an usually large energy source emanating south of where he was and it surprised the displaced to have felt a large power source miled of where he was at. Something was in the Everfree and whoever or whatever it was… It was powerful enough to rival his strength. ‘Interesting… Something tells me that one of the world’s powerful rulers have made their way here and whoever it is… Definitely has immense power… Enough to even rival my own strength or even Elysium’s if they were so inclined. But the question is… Who?’ Suicune was hesitant to go towards the source of the energy, due to it being so alien to him, but with nothing to do and his power fully restored it was time for him to find out what this power he had been sensing. “Let’s hope that whoever is out there doesn’t cause any trouble.” He said, genuinely curious, but another thought came to mind. "Perhaps I shall wait patiently for them to greet me themselves. I can only speculate that they aren't coming to give me a warm welcome." 'Looks like the next chapter of my new life in this world... is about to begin.'
