Like The Sun Itself
She's the only thing you can see. Her mane hangs down like a pink waterfall, and her coat gleams like the very sun itself.
You can't take your eyes away. Her smile reflects her eternal joy, and her eyes reflect her unparalleled benevolence.
Since the day you first saw her, you've done nothing but wish for her to be yours. You want to tell her how you feel, what she means to you, why you love her...
You want to have that conversation, but instead the most you can ever muster is, "Nice weather today," to which she'd promptly nod agreement to before heading on her way. She's too shy for you to approach, and you're too nervous to approach her in the first place.
And here's another chance staring you in the face. The mare of your dreams stands before you, simply out to buy some teabags. You could talk to her right now and kick something off. You aren't any kind of expert when it comes to tea, but at least it's something other than weather.
But here you stand: off to the side doing nothing but watching. Why don't you make your move? Get those legs moving!
You can't. You continue to watch her interact with the shopkeeper, finalizing her deal and getting ready to leave, filling her saddlebags with the tea and placing her bits on the counter. Another chance to meet the love of your life is passing you by.
Your attention is swayed slightly, and you notice the rabbit standing on her back. It's staring straight at you with a grumpy frown on it's face and its arms crossed, tapping its foot impatiently.
You're unsure how to react. You've been standing here looking at her for a while... Maybe you should leave. Or, y'know, actually make a move.
The more you watch this rabbit, the more frustrated it seems to get. Maybe you should just walk away; he doesn't seem to be in a good mood-
The rabbit rolls its eyes and waves for you to come over to him, then gestures blatantly to his caretaker.
This rabbit...is trying to hook you up?
Well, you'd love to answer its call, but your throat dries up and your legs are shaking. You can't make it over there!
The bunny looks you over and growls upon the realization that you're not going to do this yourself. He starts rigorously stamping the mare's back until she takes notice of him. She turns her head to look over her shoulder at the rabbit, who points straight at you.
She follows his direction with her eyes and gasps upon seeing you. She immediately turns away and hides her face behind her curtain-like mane.
There goes your chance. You were even offered help, but you did nothing, and now she's leaving.
Or... she was leaving. The bunny has hopped to the ground and firmly grasped her tail, causing her to kick up dirt as she walks in-place. The rodent waves to you again, but you can do nothing but stand there with such a dumbstruck look on your face.
The rabbit slaps its face into its paw, then it begins pulling the mare toward you. For the first few steps she keeps up her walking pace before falling onto her belly and being dragged back to you.
The bunny drops the tail as it reaches you, putting both paws on its thighs and glancing between the two of you. You look to him for guidance, but all he does is gesture toward her. Your mouth is totally dry, so you can't get a word out. Luckily, she's facing away from you, so she doesn't have to witness the fool you're making of yourself.
She turns her head a little, just enough the see around her mane. You make eye-contact, and instantly attempts to run away. The rabbit grabs her tail again and brings her back to her belly. He scowls at you and points to the mare. Do something!
You swallow what little saliva there is in your throat to try and speak, but all that comes out is a wheeze.
The bunny screams silently and pulls at its ears like hair, then grabs your hoof and holds it next to the subdued mare. He acts out the motion of helping someone up, then points furiously at his master.
You nod and take a few deep breaths, trying to work up the strength to say real words. You finally try to speak, but you wheeze again. You clear your throat and try one more time.
"W-would you like some help?" The rabbit pumps its fist.
The mare turns her head enough to see your hoof, then she follows it back to the rest of you. Upon seeing your face, she gasps and looks away again. She slowly tries to stand up on her own, but the bunny yanks her back down to the ground by her tail. After a few more seconds of lying still, she finally replies, "Yes p-please..." She slowly places her hoof in yours, and the bunny let's out a happy sigh, falling onto its back.
You've done it! You're actually making physical contact with her!
... Now what?
You deliberate for a moment before realizing that you haven't actually helped her up yet. You pull on her hoof a little too eagerly; you're so embarrassed for leaving her like that!
She's avoiding eye-contact, looking down at her hooves. You screwed up! "I'm sorry! I don't know what I'm doing and..."
You realize that now you're just holding her hoof. You pull away and avoid eye-contact yourself. Good job; mares really dig guys who blatantly state that they're idiots. Great work there, bud.
The rabbit looks between the two of you before deciding that this isn't going anywhere. He rapidly stomps on the mare's hoof until she moves.
Still avoiding eye-contact, she says, "Thank you..."
You rub the back of your neck and clear your throat again, "No problem, um..." You know her name, but you want to hear her say it.
"Fluttershy..."
You almost pass out. Her voice is like a choir of angelic birds all singing at once, and her name is as soft as her gentle heart. The two combined is near too much for any one mortal to bear.
"Fluttershy..." you say habitually. You realize how weirdly creepy that sounds, so you try to save it, "What a beautiful name."
Her head lowers further and she begins to toy with the dirt under her hoof. No response.
You try to act casual and glance around. The other residents of Ponyville are going about their daily lives, not a single one paying mind to you. That takes one worry off your mind.
You turn back to Fluttershy to see her in a crouched position, attempting to sneak away. The rabbit is holding her tail and tapping its foot in disappointment. Eventually Fluttershy gives up and let's him pull her back to you, standing this time.
You look her over. She's tense all over, as if ready for any chance to run away. You feel guilty for making her so uncomfortable, but you fear the rabbit will stop you from leaving too, so you only have one choice: stick to the plan.
"So... I see that you like tea?" You gesture to her saddlebags.
The mare nods slightly and squeaks.
She's so adorable that you're going to die.
The rabbit nudges her with his elbow. She doesn't react, so he does it again. No reaction. He starts to kick her hoof repeatedly.
This bunny must really like you if he wants her to talk to you so badly.
Fluttershy mutters something, so the rabbit perks up its ears and listens. When she finishes speaking, he rolls his eyes and hops into one of her saddlebags, coming out with a teabag. He holds it up to her face and points down the road. Fluttershy gasps and hops into the air, flapping her wings. You can finally see her face again as her mane is caught by the wind. She's smiling.
You can't help but smile too.
The pegasus hugs her rabbit and holds him in the air, "Thank you, Angel!" The rabbit appears pleased at doing something right. He must normally be a troublemaker.
Fluttershy notices that you're watching, then immediately falls onto her hooves and drops Angel into the dirt. She half-faces you this time, only covering part of her face with her mane. "Would you like to come to my house for some tea?"
"I would love nothing more-" you catch yourself, "I mean, sure, I would love to!"
She grins again, looking you straight in the eyes now.
She's... perfect.
Fluttershy has a giddy look on her face as she glances at her bunny, who is still recovering from his fall. You watch as she tenderly picks him up and sets him on her back before turning to you, suddenly concerned, "Are you doing anything right now? I'd hate to interrupt-"
"I have nothing going on." The only thing you're doing is watching her. "I'm available right now!"
The mare giggles, flaring her wings and making her way down the road, "Then follow me!" She looks concerned again, "If that's okay with you?"
You chuckle at her care-full behavior. "Of course that's okay." She smiles and continues on her path with you in-tow.
On your walk, you can't help but look at her soaring above you. Her mane and tail blowing in the wind, her majestic wings lifting her to heights beyond your reach...
Her cream-colored coat and soft, delightful body. You wish you could hold her in your hooves and tell her how much you love her.
It's too soon now. You've barely even got a friendship. Though it shouldn't be too difficult to keep it, judging by her reaction to you accepting tea. Obviously, she's not too good at making new friends.
Not to say that you are, but she's had a rougher time with this topic than others.
As she hovers around above you, you accidentally catch a glimpse of something. Something you'd only dreamed of, but never truly thought about. But now that you've seen it for real...
Just one more reason you need this mare in your life.
You trip over your hooves, but manage to recover. Fluttershy hears you scramble on the dirt and lowers herself to check on you, "Are you alright?"
You look over her face. Now that you've seen her privates, you only have one string of thought now, and you start blushing harder than you already have been. Her lips look so enticing...
You shake your head to rid yourself of such thoughts. "I'm fine, thank you. Just tripping over myself."
Fluttershy chuckles, then realizes something. She blushes and flies a little faster, covering her face and bending her knees. You take a moment to figure out what she realized, and then it hits you.
You were tripping over yourself... for her! She must think you were making a joke and hitting on her! You wish you had been clever enough to do that on purpose.
Does she know that you like her? Is it really that obvious? What if she knows but doesn't feel the same way? What if she found out too late and doesn't want to turn you away because she's too nice?
You bite your lip, unsure whether to feel guilty, scared, or both.
You can see her cottage now. You can tell it's her's because of its secluded location and multitude of animal homes surrounding it. She had built these animals homes herself because they needed them. This mare is so empathetic and sweet...
How are you the only stallion literally tripping over himself to be with this girl?
Fluttershy lands next to the door, and your eyes immediately wander toward her flank. Once you've seen paradise, it's difficult not to want to see it again.
Her tail is hit by wind, but you can't glimpse anything. You're not sure whether to damn her tail for blocking the view or damn yourself for suddenly becoming such a pervert.
She opens the door and steps to the side, welcoming you to enter. At first you're unsure whether to accept her offer or say, "Ladies first."
Before you can reach a conclusion, she glances inside and gasps. She turns to you and smiles embarrassingly, "I'm so sorry, but would you mind waiting here for just a moment?"
Her kindness almost makes you cry from a cuteness overload. "Of course."
She dashes inside and slams the door. You start to look around her property when you start hearing crashing and growling inside. Fluttershy's soft voice is barely audible, "No, Mister Flufferton! That's not yours! Angel, please help me with-" There's another crash, "Now look what you've done! You clean that up right now or there'll be no snacks tomorrow!"
A few seconds pass, then Fluttershy opens the door excitedly. Her mane is ruffled and crazy, but she quickly works to repair it by rubbing her hoof through it. She blows a loose strand out of her face before speaking, "Come on in!" She steps back inside.
Guess that answers who goes first.
You enter the cabin and are awed. It's filled with bird cages and pet houses and litter boxes, yet it smells as fresh as a Spring breeze. There are a few decorative paintings on the walls, and the windows provide an excellent view of the outdoors. The house's pony furniture is pretty simple, but it matches the rest of the home fairly well, especially the couch.
Fluttershy glances around to be sure she didn't miss anything, then she smiles at you, "Sorry, we don't get many visitors, so if anything seems out of place-" Angel begins stomping on her hoof again, so she changes the topic, "Sorry, I'll get some tea started." She floats out of the living room and into the kitchen. You begin to wander when she pops her head back in and says, "Make yourself at home. Angel?" She tosses the bunny into the room, "Do something... funny. Please keep him entertained." The rabbit salutes, and the loving mare returns to her task.
You take a seat on the couch, still glancing around the room. Angel hops up beside you and follows your wandering gaze.
Eventually, your eyes meet his, and you start the conversation, "Why do you want me and Fluttershy to be friends so badly?"
The rabbit frowns in disappointment. He points at you, then makes a heart shape with his paws, then points to the kitchen questioningly.
You blush, "I mean... maybe a little."
Then he points to the kitchen, makes a heart shape with his paws, then points straight to you.
You take a moment to process this.
"... YES!"
Fluttershy's voice emanates from the kitchen, "Are you okay?"
She's worried about you! And not just because she's nice! "I am fantastic!" You hug Angel, but not without struggle, "Thank you, little bunn y!"
Once the rabbit breaks free, you both sit for a minute, examining your surroundings and waiting patiently for Fluttershy to return. When she does, you can't help but look at her in a different way. How could you confess without making this weird? It should be romantic, shouldn't it?
She notices your eerily giddy stare, and hides half of her face behind her mane. You mentally punish yourself; congratulations, you've creeped her out. Just act normal and try to find the perfect moment to tell her.
She sets the plate on the coffee table in front of the couch and takes a seat on the opposite end from you. She picks up her tea and starts deliberately avoiding eye-contact. You try to think of something worth starting a conversation over, but nothing seems immediately interesting or relevant, so you grab your tea from the table. "Thank you for this," you nod toward her before taking a sip.
This is the single greatest tea you have ever tasted. It might really be that good, or it might be because Fluttershy made it. Either way, there's never been something sweeter except for the mare herself.
This would be a good time to get her buttered up, "This tea is perfect!" Crap! Should have said, "Perfect as you!"
She blushes and shrinks further behind her hair, "I-it's nothing special, I've just done it for a long time..."
The more she hides, the more you want to brush her mane away. Not just so you can see her face again, but to know how soft her beautiful curtain really feels.
You resist the urge. She's too nervous for you to try anything even remotely considered physical contact. Instead, you clear your throat and try to break the awkward silence that followed her reply, "So... you said that you don't have visitors over here very often?"
"No; the animals and I aren't very good around other ponies..." She remains hidden, taking an uncomfortable sip from her tea.
Well, good job, you brought attention to how antisocial she is. Try something else!
"Um... what do you do for a living?"
"I... save Equestrian from evil and help people with their friendship problems and I am a part-time veterinarian..."
That didn't seem to make her uncomfortable as much as it did embarrassed. Good job, you made her feel like she's too important. You're really on a roll here. You even knew the answers to both those questions and they've done nothing but backfire.
Third time's a charm, right? "So, you take care of all these animals by yourself?"
"Not completely," she looks to Angel, who has hopped on the table for his own tiny cup of tea, "Every one of them pulls their own weight and then some." She smiles and looks around the cabin. A few of the critters who live inside the house sense her gaze and poke their heads out. Upon realizing that the gaze meant nothing, they retreat back into their holes. "We have our own little ecosystem, and noone goes un-cared for."
You can't help but grin at her adamance for the matter, "Is there nothing you care about more than these animals?"
"I love plenty of things, but you and these critters are-" she stops, her whole face turning the brightest crimson you've ever seen, her mouth hanging open out of pure disbelief.
Your face is probably the exact same. She just said "you" and "love" in the same sentence.
The mare closes her mouth and carefully sets her tea back on the table. You want to say something, but you're so shocked that you can only watch. She stands up from her seat and walks around the table to reach the front door next to you.
As she lifts her hoof to the doorknob, you hear the weather outside and recognize what's about to happen, "Fluttershy, wait-!"
She opens the door, only to be thrown across the room by the intense wind. Rain starts flooding in, and tree branches roll through the open passage. Where did this storm come from?!
You hop over the armrest and into the brunt of nature's assault. Fighting against it, you reach the door and push on it in an attempt to get it closed. You see Angel below you, trying his best to do the same.
After being pelted with sticks, rain, and wind, you finally manage to shut and bolt the door. You and Angel both pause to take a deep breath and recover, and as soon as you have the strength, you turn around to find the mare lying belly-up against the far wall.
"Fluttershy," you begin trotting toward her, "are you alright-" you feel as though your hooves are taken out from under you, and you slip forward on the rainwater that made its way inside, ultimately falling just in front of her.
This time, with her tail following gravity, you have nothing but a clear view of it. You can feel your nethers trying to harden despite being flattened against the floor.
Fluttershy can see where your eyes are looking, and she squeals, crossing her legs and turning more red than she already was. You panic and stand up, changing your focus to her eyes. You both speak at the same time, "I'm so sorry, I didn't-"
She looks totally terrified, as do you. Neither of you truly know how to recover from this.
Fluttershy tries her best, "I-I... when I said... I love... I didn't..." she tries to hide behind her mane, but can't; it's all clumped together because of the rain.
You just stare, speechless. She's perfect in every single way. She's kind, she's humble, she's attractive, she's cute...
You lean forward and kiss her cheek.
Her petrified frown disappears, replaced by an expression of pure disbelief. She turns to look at you. Your eyes lock, and you know that this surprise wasn't unwanted. You lean forward again, and this time her lips meet yours.
Her mouth... is perfect.
Your tongues engage in a vicious battle, fighting for domination of the other's territory. You lose track of which mouth is yours, and all you can feel is her warm, yet rain-covered body pressing against yours. This is the moment you've been waiting for. This is the moment you've wanted since forever.
Here it is. Fluttershy is yours.
Your crotch continues to grow more uncomfortable, and you can't do a thing to stop it. So, you accept it.
Fluttershy relaxes her legs, experiencing similar feelings. You begin to slowly rub the tip of your penis against her wet slit, giving you both a tease. The mare let's out a happy moan, then ends her battle with your mouth. She looks you in the eyes while you keep rubbing, a string of saliva still connecting you, "We should move this somewhere more private," she nods over your shoulder at the animals who have begun to peek out of their homes.
You laugh uncomfortably, then agree, pulling yourself away from her and cutting the strand with your tongue. Fluttershy climbs onto her hooves and wraps a wing around your back, leading you toward the stairs to her bedroom...
_______________
Discord chuckles as he watches you and Fluttershy go to her bedroom. The storm and rain worked exactly as planned. He pats Angel's head with a claw; the bunny looks horrified at what he saw you doing with his caretaker.
"Hey, this is what you asked for!" the Draconequus pokes fun at him, "Ask and ye shall receive." The bunny starts to spitefully stomp on Discord's foot. "Yeah, you too, buddy," he kicks the rabbit across the room.
