Children in Ponyville are disappearing left and right and yet there is nothing the police can do about it.
Shadow Storm has never seen nothing like this before in his career as a officer. Colts and fillies are just disappearing in Ponyville out of thin air and there is no leads to who is doing or what is doing it. If that wasn't enough Nightmare Night is this week, so is this a prank or the real thing?
It was a warm and partly cloudy day in Ponyville, it was the perfect day for flying as Storm made his way back home after doing a solo patrol. Star took a personal day off for who knows what reason. Storm didn't mind that he had to do patrol by himself, it's not like Ponyville is a big place after all, a small town with a princess doesn't seem to bad.
Storm looked down and saw that the town was being decorated for the upcoming Nightmare Night event a five days from now. The Town was really loved to go all out for these types of celebrations, even if it's a small town they decorate, celebrate and acted like they were a big city or if some pony important was coming.
Wow. Out of all the places I been and seen this town has got to be the most cheerful town I have ever been. Storm thought.
"Yes, it's a very nice town to settle down in." A voice said behind Storm.
Storm quickly turned around and saw Discord.
"So, we finally meet Shadow Storm."
Storm was puzzled, he has never meet Discord before in the 5 months, Storm did heard that Discord was reformed and that he now lives in Ponyville. However, that still doesn't explain why or how he even knows Storm.
"Yes, we do... you." Storm answered.
Discord's smile turned into a frown of disappointment. "Wait, you don't know who I am?" Discord asked.
"Should I?" Storm answered. It's probably best that I play dumb. Storm thought.
"Well, if you must know." Discord said with his smile returning. "I am Discord, the master of chaos and many others if you must know." Discord bragged.
"I'm really not interested." Storm said. Before Storm could finish Discord cut him off.
"For you see..."
After 3 hours of Discord explaining when and where he was born and what it felt like to be trapped in stone for thousands of years by Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. However, due to the extra long day today and it's already 10:00 Storm was either half asleep or just fell a asleep in general, while flying. Storm was at his end he was about to finally go to sleep. He's head slowly went down.
"Oh my, look at the time!" Discord said.
Storm shot his head up from the response to Discord.
"It's late, so we will have to finish this story tomorrow Ta-Ta" Discord said before disappearing.
Storm was still trying get over all the events that happened today. Discord just shows up and starts telling his life story to a pony who he has never seen before in his life and a filly pegasus get's stuck in a washing well because, she said that a giant yellow bear said to so that she can see her friend again. Kids imagination is some what very strange now a days.
Storm finally arrives home in the middle of night. He landed in front of his front door and was about to open it. Until he heard a funny noise coming from the side of his house. Storm brushed it off, due to the fact that he's tired and it might be his mind playing tricks on him. But, it still didn't stop, then a idea came that it might be a robber trying to brake in.
Storm then walked carefully trying not to scare it off. When he looked the only thing he could see was a silhouette of what look's to be a bear. It seemed to be scratching the side of the house.
"Hey, get out of here." Storm yelled.
It looked at Storm and quickly ran in the direction of the Everfree forest. Storm didn't think too much in to it because, maybe it just lost it way from home or it was trying to get it the house and raid the Kitchen for all his food. Storm didn't know why it was here in the first place and he didn't care either, all he wanted was to go to bed.
The next day Storm was getting ready for work, in his house there was a knocking at the front door. Storm looked at the clock and it was 6:00 in the morning. Storm slowly approached the door in case it was a that thing trying to get in the house. Ones he was at the door he look through the peephole and saw none other then Star.
Storm didn't understand why Star is at his house they always meet at the station and if not there then they would be at SugarCube corner. Storm opened the door.
"Star why are you here? We don't meet at the station for another hour." Storm asked.
"There is a huge problem in the upper part of town. Two filly's have been kidnapped, and on top of that there are giant claw marks on the house. Star said with a serious tone.
"Wait what?... Are you serious?" Storm asked.
Star nodding confirming what Storm just heard. "The Boss said that two filly's disappeared not to long ago this morning.
"Alright I'll meet you there."
"Got it. I'm going to the school house and see if they heard or saw anything."
After that short conversation Storm quickly put on his uniform and left the apple he was going to eat for breakfast. He locked his door and flew to the upper class part of town where the rich pony's live. Storm never liked the upper class pony's, it not because he's jealous it was because they acted so smug just because they have more money and can own anything they want.
As Storm neared the location he could see that a large group have already formed at the house of the lost filly. About six officers were there, three were creating a perimeter for the detectives. Storm landed and took a quick look around and seen that the house was a two story house with many windows.
Storm decided to investigate the house a little more before asking questions. Storm walked to the left side of the house and saw that a window was broken but, it wasn't shattered, there was a small size circle just big enough for a filly to go through. However, the window is on the second floor there was now way that a filly could make that jump.
"This is very strange." A voice said.
Storm turned and there was Discord just beside him. He was hovering inches from Storm with his arms crossed with a look that was mixed with confusion and anger.
"Discord when the heck did you get here and how long have you been beside me." Storm asked.
"Oh, I just got here." He said with a smile
"That's nice anyway what were you talking about when you said this is very strange"
Discord's face then went back to that unknown look. "It's because this isn't normal magic. This was done with the help of Everfree magic.
"What?" Storm asked. "What the heck is EverFree forest magic?
"It's very dangerous and leave it at that." Discord said turning to look at something else. "However, there is one thing I don't understand what is that?" He pointed to the bottom of the window.
Storm looked and saw claw marks near the window two on the bottom and on the left side of the window. These marks are the same as the marks that were on Storm's house. Could the yellow bear done this or is it something else?"
"I have to go now. If I find anything I'll let you know."
"What?" Storm asked along with a confusing look. "What do you mean?"
"Long story just keep quite tell no one till I get back ." With those final words Discord made his leave.
Storm was still procession on what is going on. Two filly's were kidnapped, the window wasn't even broken and the claw marks are the same as the ones from his house. On top of all these strange questions is what is Everfree magic? Was it fake ? Did Discord just say that to throw me off from finding the real pony?
"Storm." A voice called.
Storm snapped out of his thoughts. He looked down and saw Star and long with there boss Night.
Two hours later Storm and Star were at the Police Station, in the briefing room discussing all the evidence that they were able to find in the two hours they were at the house. The room was filled with detectives and private investigators from Ponyville who had an impressive record or had a special record in these types of cases.
"Alright." Night said catching the attention of everypony in the room.
"You all know why your here so let's cut to the chase."
The lights turned off and the projector came on and there was a picture of two young filly's side by side. The filly on the left was pink and her mane was light purple with a white highlights she also had a tiara on both her head and cutiemark. The filly on the left was gray and had glasses had baby blue pairs around her neck and her mane was slightly lighter gray then her body.
"These two are the two fillys that went missing today. The one on the left is named Diamond Tiara and the other is named Sliver Spoon." Night pointed at each filly as she named them. "Here is our information. At 4:45pm this morning at Diamond Tiara's house her father, Mr Rich heard strange noises coming from Diamond's room. He want to look but, by the time he did Diamond was outside of her room levitating along side her friend Sliver Spoon."
"Wait, so they were both levitating outside of a second story house?" Couldn't they just have been standing on the roof or something?" A investigator asked.
Night shakes her head side to side. "That part of the house has no roof." She then changed the slide to bedroom window from where Diamond and Sliver were taken. "As you see, there is no where for either of the foals to stand. It would have been a straight drop to the bottom from both of there windows."
"Wait." Storm said a bit of frustration in his voice. "So dose that mean we have no idea who or what is behind this?"
Night sighed and rubbed her hoof on her head. "Yes." She said a but frustrated herself. "Also claw marks have been found on both houses. Other houses have reported these same marks since 2 weeks ago all over the town and some have even seen who or what is doing it."
Storm quickly looked up from the pictures that was given to him by Star. There were other reports of the marks? Are they from the same thing that is took the foals or is it just so wired and strange coincidence. Not wanting to miss change or look like a total idiot in front of everypony he decided to ask.
"Was it the size of a bear had two legs?" Storm asked.
A few laughed at Storm's question, Star even snicker at Storm. Insults from the higher rank officers begin.
"Your right." Night said in a cold voice. The laughter stopped before the insults could even start. Everypony in the room was speech less after hearing the was Night responded to Storm's answer."The witness have seen something among those lines around there house in the early hours of the morning."
Storm didn't believe a single word he just heard along with everyone in the room. Everything is happening so fast for this to be real. One thing is for sure. This is was not done by a pony, it was done by something else that lives in Everfree forest.
“This makes no sense.” Star said as he paced around the small office that he and Storm shared. “What did you mean by something coming out of the Everfree forest?”
“I know what I saw Star it ran into the forest on two legs when it first saw me. Trust me I wish I had a better look at it so I know what it looked like.”
It’s been 8 hours since the meeting had ended. Night ordered to find the two fillies and keep quiet about this so that the town doesn't go into full on panic mode. It’s most likely that she and the mayor don’t want a repeat of the Super twister incident. There was an amber alert declared and search parties were created to cover more ground in case the abductor had already town.
“Look Storm, how did you know what you saw was even true let alone real?” Star asked. “This was when it was around the dead of night and stringer thing have been seen and misunderstood for something else in this town. Pinkie Pie told me so.”
Storm took a moment to think before answering. Star was right, it was near midnight and weirder things had happened here. Maybe it was just a prank Nightmare night was less than a week away and pranks are known to happen near the event.
“Well, you may be right, It could have been a prank. But that still doesn't hide the fact that a two fillies were reported missing that night I found the marks on my house.”
“We may never now detective.” A familiar voice said from above them.
Storm and Star looked up and saw Discord on the ceiling hanging like a spider.
“What the? How the hay did you get up there?” Star asked.
Storm was completely dumbstruck by how Discord was able to stay up there and how did even get in the room without Storm or Star noticing that he was there the whole time.
“Questions for later.” Discord answered as he jumped off the ceiling and landed feet first on the ground. “I just wanted tell you that this whole thing is pretty fishy.”
“Fishy how.” Storm asked starting to get curious.
“The kind that know matter how you peace it together and how matter how much you know about the kidnapping. It just doesn't add up the way it should.”
Discord then snapped his fingers and a brack wall has the same claw marks that were on his house and on the house were the filly went missing.
“What are you getting at?” Star asked inspecting the piece of wall closely. “Is there a new type of bear that we don’t know about?”
Discord shaked his head. “I wish it was. A normal bear can’t just walk right into Ponyville and take two fillies in the upper class part of town and take them out of their house, a two story house.
Discord was actually making sense. None of the things that happened have given the Department and solid lead on who or what did it and why. There has to be something bigger going on. “Do you have any ideas of how or what it is?” Storm finally asked Discord.
“Well, I have something but I don’t think that it will be much help.” Discord once again snapped his fingers and a very thick book appeared, it looked very old the cover had dust on it and it was as big 3 dictionary.
“What in the wild world is that?” Star asked.
“This is a book based on unknown creatures that a scientist had found and then created them for his own personal use. He wanted to make a army of these things to take over equestria. However, the princesses catched wind in his plan a stopped him before he could even start and I took the book.”
“Wait,Wait.” Star said scratching his head in confusion. “Now I’m not the smartest unicorn in equestria but, weren't you and both of princesses enemies? How did you get your hands on the book.”
“Oh that. I just took it before they could notice and had it in safe keeping.” Discord admit. “But besides that this book could help you two with this thing running loose in Ponyville.”
“Have you even read any of it?” Storm asked blowing the dust off the cover of the book.
Discord took a moment to answer. He was talking to himself and counting his fingers while looking up. “Two pages.” He finally answered. Storm and Star rolled there eyes.
Star then begin levitating the book. “Well, if this huge book can help us then we need to go for it. And when I mean we I mean you. Star said while putting it into Storm’s saddle bag.
“Why me?” Storm asked.
“Because.” Star begin with a fake happy tone. “You're the smartest pegasus the Ponyville.” Then his voice changed back to normal. “And we both know that there is no way that i’m going to either read 4 pages and fall asleep or not read it at all.”
Star had a point. He's not the type to read books that are bigger than his horn. “Point taken.” Storm admit. “But what are you going to do?”
Star sighed. “I think I’ll just look around a little bit more before I had home. I can’t just go to sleep at night knowing that two fillies are missing.”
“You and me both brother.” Discord said before teleporting.
Storm was now making his way home to begin reading the book Discord had gave him. Usually Storm would have already been home by now. But because of what he found out about the thing not being a pony but a monster created by a mad scientist didn’t help ease his guard. He kept turning around and double checking shadows of buildings to see if anything was hiding.
Storm finally was home he locked the door put up all the curtains. Now he knew what that thing was he didn’t want to see it in case it came back for some reason.
Storm took the book out and set it on the table in his living room. He opened it and begin to skimmed through the book to find anything interesting. Just as he was about to give up he saw something that catches his eye. It was a drawing of what look like to be a bear with longer arms and had a small object in it’s hand, it looked to be a yo-yo.
There was something written under it. “It carries a pendulum-like device that can cause anypony to be hypnotized if they look at it directly.” He then kept reading and saw something that said it creates it's home by using forbidden magic. Storm kept reading till he started to make up words as he went along. So he decided go to bed and call it a night. When he was in bed he could help but think of that sentence he read. Before he could second that thought he went to sleep.
Little did Storm know things are going to get worst for the town.
Storm woke up to the sound of a large commotion coming from outside of his house. He looked at the clock on his nightstand and saw that is was only 6:15 am. Storm rolled over and tried to fall back to sleep. He didn't think much of it because of the search party's like to start early in the morning to try to catch the lead to fillies.
Just as Storm was about to draft back to sleep his radio suddenly stop playing music and a loud beep was created, a beep that is normally at the start of the emergency broadcast system. Storm still ignored it guess that it's a part of a song or the station had a problem and are just covering.
The following message is transmitted by the request of the Mayor's office of Ponyville and the Police Department of Ponyville
At this point Storm shoot straight up in his bed like he had awaken from a falling dream.
We interrupt this broadcast for an abduction alert. Many fillies and colts were reported missing from their home's around 5:15 am this morning. The reason of the abduction is unknown at this time. These abduction are most likely linked with the abduction from yesterday. If you have any information on this abduction please call the Ponyville Police.
Finally the broadcast had went off. Storm quickly got out of bed and looked outside of his window. There ponies everywhere ageing from young adults to adults looking in trees, bushes and trash cans to find their brother or sister. Storm hastily got everything he needed bolted out the door of his home and flew to the station.
When he arrived the captain had called an emergency meeting for everyone. He went to the room that was normally use for morning roll call. The room was filled with officers from Ponyville before Storm had chance to look for Star Night entered the room.
"Listen we need to hurry and get back out there so I'm going to make it quick." She briefly said. More foals are missing all around town and they all give the same description as the same one that took the two fillies from yesterday. We need to act now regain control of the town. Earth pony's start calming everypony down, Pegasus take to the sky and order them all to land and when that's done provide overwatch. And Unicorns get everyone inside use your riot spells if you have to just get it done."
Four Hours Later Ponyville was now a ghost town everypony was inside there house, the only thing that's outside is officers. Once Storm was taken off of overwatch he found Star and told him to meet him at his house in 6 minutes.
"What is going on?" Star asked. "We should be looking for the foal's."
"I know that. We already search the whole town twice and found nothing. There was only one place we haven't checked." Storm pointed the the Everfree forest. "The place where it ran when I saw it."
"How are we going to do that there is only two of us."
"Make that eight." Said a voice that slightly angered Storm.
They both turn around and saw the main 6 behind them.
"Were coming with you we know that place like the back of our heads." Twilight said. "Besides I want to find the sick thing that's been doing this to this peaceful town."
"We'll," Storm begin. "Safety in numbers I guess. But if you get hurt it's your own felt."
"Aw would you stop already?" Applejack snared. "Were not your everyday mares here we fought bigger monsters than you think."
"Yeah, sure whatever." Storm said ignoring Applejack's comment. "Anyway Star do you remember that tracking spell you learned when you worked for that prison?"
Star took a moment before answering. "Yeah, I guess I could fish it out. Haven't used it in a while so I don't know if it's even going to work."
"It's worth a shot."
Star took a moment and got ready to clear his mind or do whatever unicorns do to when there creating or doing a spell. It took less than 2 minutes before Star's horn started glowing and revealing huge sized footprints 3 times the size of a bear and they lead to the Everfree forest. They walk the path till they were at the entrance of the forest.
"So what's the plan." Rainbow Dash asked.
"Easy, get in, find the kids get out alive and don't run into the thing that took them." Star answered. "Unless you had one."
"Yeah, we find that thing and kick it's flank for taking all the kids." Rainbow Dash suggested.
"As much as I love to do that plan I'm going to stick with Storm on this one."Twilight suggested. "We don't know who or what took them and also this is a part of the Everfree forest that none of us have been in before. Who knows what waiting for us out there."
"Well me and Storm are going in. We have a job to do." Star said before walking into the forest with Storm right behind him.
"Didn't you two here what I just said." Twilight nearly yelled with a bit of concern in her voice.
"Yeah, we heard you." Storm acknowledged. "And you're right we have know idea what's going to be in there. But I know two things. One, there is a town full of worried parents and siblings wanting to know where their colt and filly went and two we are the only ones who what a pretty good idea of where they are and who has them."
“Wait, a minute how do you know where they are?” Pinkie suddenly asked.
“It’s all in this book I “found”.”
“Book? What book?” Twilight asked curiously asked.
After some time the 8 ponies were in the forest following Star while his spell is active following the unusual large footprints. As they continued to follow the footprints Twilight kept constantly asking questions about where the book came from, what this thing is and so on.
“Darlings I’m not the one to complain but how much longer we’ve been walking for hours how much longer?” Rarity complained.
“It’s been 15 minutes.” Applejack answered.
“Ok, not I'm not trying to act like a jerk but why are you six even here?” Storm asked.
“It’s because we have to get to the bottom of this.” Applejack said. “This thing has been causing trouble in this town for too long.”
Star stopped walking. “Wait. To long?” “How long has this thing been here?”
“About two months?” Pinkie answered.
“Then why the hell didn’t you tell us sooner or done something about it.” Strom asked.
“Well, we were but then we just thought it was some pony playing tricks on us.”
Another 15 minutes of walking till they came to a fork in the trail. The path on the left had a clear lane with no trees just short cut grass on both sides on the path. The other path had more trees, but these trees are taller and it blocked out the sun even those it’s 10:50 in the afternoon. It was pitch black dark. By this time Star had to stop using to spell in order to stay conscious.
“Doesn't take a genius to figure out which path we should take. Dash said. “I mean any…
Before Dash finished her sentence there was a voice coming from the right path a faint voice that sounded like you were running and barely could get a voice out.
“Come closer.”
Everyone quickly got back everyone but Storm. He took a step closer to the path.
“Storm, what are you doing get over here.” Star urged.
Storm ignored Star and continued to walk closer to the voice.
“Closer.”
As every second passed Storm was coming closer and closer to the pitch black pathway. Star, Dash and AppleJack were 3 feet behind Storm.
“Who’s there?” Storm yelled to the darkness of the path.
Nothing returned but the same voice repeating closer. At this point Storm is standing on the last peace of sunlight before the he enters the path.
“Don’t do it.” Fluttershy shouted. “There’s something in there.” Just as she yelled. Storm saw a silhouette the same silhouette that was outside of his house that night. By the time he first seen it he tried to jump back, but a small sliver dick with a wire attached to it before he could notice it, it was already wrapped around a neck and pulled him into the path before anyone in the group could reacted. All he could hear was the voices of his friends.
Storm was now being dragged by force through the dark woods by his neck. He didn’t know what was worst. Being dragged on a dirt path with many small rocks, small broken limbs from trees or being slammed into rocks and trees every time there was a turn while being choked from the neck with the wire.
Just as Storm was about to pass out. He was slammed to the ground and then wire had disappeared from around his neck. Storm slowly got to his hooves and looked around to see he was in a wide open circular field with no grass. What made it even stranger is that a six foot wall was on the border of the field almost as to keep something out or in.
“Where am I?” Storm asked out loud. "I know your here."
“Your trapped.” A voice answered.
Storm looked around to find the source of the voice. But there was nowhere for anyone to hide besides inside the holes in the ground on the opposite side of the field Storm was on.
"Show yourself coward." Storm continued to scream.
Just as Storm yelled that a light humming was coming from behind Storm on top of the six foot wall. He flew up just beyond the wall to find the source of the voice, but all that was there was the same dark path that he was dragged through.
A couple of minutes passed of Storm looking left and right trying to find were the voice had came from while keeping his distance not wanting to repeat the dragged through that path again. Just as Storm was about to give up and try to regroup with his friends find the missing fillies & colts and get out of the forest all fast as possible.
Storm turned around and thought that if he flew higher that he could try to retrace his steps from when he was dragged through the woods.
“Where did you think your going?” a voice said.
Storm’s body froze in pure fear. He turned around and saw not a shadow nor the silhouette but the actual thing.
This was it. This was the thing that has been causing trouble for the past week in the town. It’s body was yellow with pointy ears on top of it head that looked like triangles it’s nose looked very pointy. There was white fur all around his neck. It was a big as a bear, maybe even bigger. It walked on two legs and had two arms, one with a small silver object in it’s hand. However, the weirdest thing is that it had no mouth when it spoke.
“Just like the book said everything is here.” Storm thought.
Storm knows he’s in a bad situation. First of all he was in a forest he knows nothing about and the second thing is that he’s facing something not from this world and who knows what it can do. The best thing he can do is try to stall as long as possible till Star arrives, he always was the creative type.
“Just what the hell are you.” Storm asked hoping that it could buy him some time.
A smile slowly appeared on his face from Storm’s question. He chuckled a little before answering.
“A lonely monster who just wants a friend. Do you want to be my friend Shadow Storm?” He asked with a voice that can only be created by a monster in your nightmares.
Storm was felt his heart dropped. How does it this monster know his name? More importantly how does it talk without a mouth?
“Who the hell are you and how do you know my name?” Storm finally said after a long moment.
It chucked lightly just like before. “Well, I think it’s fair for me to introduce myself. My name is Hypno and I’m here to save this world from evil that cure’s it.” Hypno then raised his right hand and then he snapped his fingers. When he did young fillies and colts started to appear one by one in mid air trapped in bubbles. They all were unconscious.
“The missing kids.” Storm gasped. “Why are you doing this?”
“I’m doing this to protect the future of this world so that I we can finally live in peace.” Hypno answered. “With these little ones out of the way there will be no future for your race and you all will die of this planet there for my dream will come true.”
That was the last straw. Storm had to take action, even if it cost him his own life. He must stop Hypno before creates his dream to reality. Storm leaped at Hypno to tackle him to the ground. But, he dodged it by jumping high in the air.
“To slow, Storm.” He taunted. “You have to be faster, than that.”
“Careful what you wish for.” Storm answered.
Storm did a sharp turn and kicked Hypno with his both of his back forelegs. It made contact and sent Hypno to the ground. However, he was able to recover from it by catching himself using magic and landed safely on his feet.
He looked up at Storm and that same smile of death was on his face again. “You might be worth keeping.” Hypno said to Storm with a big grin on his face. “I’ll keep you as a trophy for my most worthy captures.
Storm’s rage was slowly starting to build. This monster was toying with him and he knows it. He probably didn’t even feel the kick that Storm had landed to his back a moment ago. If anything he won’t be some prize to this creation gone wrong.
“Storm!” a voice shouted. From the top of the walls.
Storm and Hypno turned and saw Star and the rest of the gang including Discord behind him. They looked at Storm, the missing kids and then Hypno.
“What the hell is that thing?” Applejack asked. “I never seen anything like it in my life”
“Wait a second.” Twilight said while flipping through the book for a moment and then stopped on a page. “That’s Hypno.”
“What?” they all said.
“His a creation made by a scientist called Dr.RedNote. He was created to be one of the three guardians of the everfree forest.” She explained.
Before Storm could get a word out he was suddenly wrapped in the wire that Hypno used to dragged him through the dark path.
“I underestimated you all.” Hypno said while tightening the wire around Storm, using his magic. “Now that you know who I am none of you will escape alive. You’ll all make fantastic trophies.”
“Over my dead body creep.” Star yelled jumping down and charging at Hypno at full speed.
“OK, no need to panic.” Twilight said in a slightly panic voice. “We need to come up with a plan, so that nopony would do…”
Before she could finish what she was saying Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Discord followed Star to join in the attack on Hypno.
“ANYTHING RECKLESS.” Twilight shouted.”
They all ignored her and continued to help Storm. When Star was in range he unleashed his most used and familiar spell teaser. He used the attack and it landed a direct hit on Hypno, after that Applejack followed up with a buck to the ribs. Then Rainbow Dash finished up with a flying buck kick to his back.
The combo was strong enough for Hypno to release Storm. He was quickly retrieved by Star.
“Are you alright?” Star asked helping Storm up.
“Yeah, fine.” Storm answered. He saw Hypno getting back on his feet. “What are we going to do about that?”
“I’ll take care of him.” Discord said land in front of Storm. He looked at Hypno and then back at Storm and smiled. “Now Shadow Storm is it? Please don’t pain for what I’m about to do.”
Before Storm could react, Discord snapped his fingers. When he did a bright light twinkling like a star was hovering in his paw. Soon, the light begin to glow brighter and brighter by the second making it impossible to see anything.
Storm shut his eyes trying to shield himself from the light as it continued to grow brighter by the second. Storm tried turning away, but it had no effect, the light continued to blind him. Even with his eyes closed and his shielding them for extra protection, it felt as Storm was staring into the sun on a hot summer day. It was coming from all directions, there was no escaping it.
Until suddenly the light suddenly was as harsh as it a few seconds ago. Instead of his body wounded from attacking Hypno it was relaxed and refreshed. Storm slowly open his eyes and found himself not in the everfree forest but in his room in his house back in Ponyville.
