> My Little Pony: Friendship Will Live On > by Tropical Beats > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Chapter One: An Unexpexted Appearence > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Read that. Read that. Read that too many times...Ugh!" Nightingale Swirl groaned as she threw the three books she had levitated on the ground. "Is everything okay, Nightingale?" The midnight blue mare spun herself around to see an elder pale blue mare before her. She saw the worry in her muddy brown eyes. "Y-yes Mrs. Chestnut." Nightingale sighed, "It's just, I've come here to the Canterlot Archives ever since I was a filly. I read every book and scroll here way more than once, and now finding something new just becomes harder and harder. And I'm pretty sure I've read just about every book and scroll on these shelves." "Oh come now, dear. I've had plenty of trouble finding books I've never read before in the past as well." Mrs. Chestnut reassured. Nightingale only hung her head low and stared at the ground. Mrs. Chestnut put her arm around the young filly's neck and tried to rise her spirits up. "Tell you what. How about I whip us up some hot chocolate and we read "Down The Road" by the fire?" Nightingales ears perked up. She turned her head towards the old pony who had a warm smile on her face. She looked at her mane. Oh how beautiful her mane was when she was younger. Mrs. Chestnut's brown and purple mane was faded in color. Nightingale remembered when they used to do in the fast when she was filly and Mrs. Chestnut was just a young teen. Chessy was her foalsitter, and the best one too! Whenever Nightingale was feeling down, she was Chessy would come here to the archives and read "Down The Road" by the fire while drinking hot cocoa. The memories were flowing back to her. ~~~ "Wow, Chessy you make the best hot chocolate!" little Nightingale squeaked. "Best batch of hot chocolate for the best filly in all of Equestria!" Almond Chestnut replied. Nightingale giggled as Chestnut ruffled her mane. "Now let's get back to "Down The Road". What do you think will happen?" Almond teased knowing that the unicorn before her knew exactly what would happen. "Chessy! I know what happens! Why do you always have to ask?" "Just so you remember!" Chestnut winked and Nightingale winked back as the two of them giggled. Suddenly, a small smile appeared on Almond's face. "The Canterlot Archives sure are amazing. I hope that one day, I'll get to run it." Chestnut sighed. "Don't worry, Chessy! You're one of the smartest ponies I know! You'll easily get the job! I just know you will!" Nightingale enthusiastically replied. "Thanks, Swirly. Now how about we really get back to "Down The Road" this time?" "Ya!" Nightingale exclaimed as she cuddled next to Chestnut and let her stroke her lavender and pink mane as she listened to the story. When it was over, Chestnut asked who was Nightingale's favorite character. "Aqua, of course! My eyes are Aqua just like her name is Aqua! Not to mention, she's a super strong, kind, loving, smart earth pony! Just like you!" "Aw... Thanks, Swirly. Wanna know my favorite?" "Mmhm!" "My favorite is Midnight Dream because she's a brave and smart filly unicorn who's talented with magic. Just. Like. You." Both of them shared a laughed and walked back to Nightingale's house. ~~~ "Swirly?" Mrs. Chestnut said breaking Nightingale's thoughts, unaware of it. "Oh! Yea. I'd love to, Chessy." Nightingale quickly replied. Almond Chestnut smiled as she went off to make the hot cocoa. After they read the story and finished the cocoa Nightingale said she'll clean the mess she made trying to look for something new to read. Almond agreed and said that she had to get back to work. "Alright, clean up time!" An aqua aurora surrounded all the books and scrolls on the floor and Nightingale swiftly levitated then with no trouble it wasn't until something saw something on the shelf. "What's this?" Nightingale levitated it towards her and put everything back into their rightful spots. She then turned her attention to the small book before her. It read, 'Diary Of A Princess'. "Huh? I've never seen this before. And I'm sure I've cleared every shelf here in the archives." Nightingale tired to remember a time she'd seen this book, but with no avail. She examined the cover. It was a lavender book with a hot pink star surrounded by five whites ones, and a white star behind the pink one. "Hmm? I'm sure I've seen this symbol before." Above the star, in golden thread the title was there. There was a strap with a gold button stuck to another. She opened the book and sneezed with the amount of dust within the pages. "Wow! It's like this book has been here for more than a century!" Nightingale quickly closed to book and galloped to the check-out. "Mrs. Chestnut, have you seen this book before?" Chestnut examined the book carefully. "I'm afraid not. I've never seen it before. You can take it for free if you want." Chestnut offered. "Thanks. But do you know what this symbol on it represents?" "It looks very familiar, but I cannot remember." Nightingale sighed. "Thanks anyways." She flashed a smile and trotted out the archives. > Chapter Two: Leaving Canterlot > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nightingale galloped as quick as she could back to her room which was three floors below the Canterlot Archives, with the book levitated next to her. "Who could this belong to? Why have I never seen this before? And why can't I remember where I saw this symbol? Even Mrs. Chestnut doesn't remember the symbol on this book. Scratch that, She's never SEEN this book before! How come?!" Nightingale began yelling to herself. Guards were looking at her confused as she sped past them, questioning what she was yelling to herself. It wasn't until Nightingale closed her eyes in trying to remember where she saw that symbol until she bumped into something. Or somepony... "Miss Swirl! What's got you in a rush?" Nightingale shook her head as she opened her eyes to reveal a red pegasus with a green mane before her, the stallion's teal eyes staring down at her. Nightingale immediately blushed as she looked down. "Solar Rays! I'm so sorry!" The blue filly managed to squeak out. "It's okay." Solar got up and held his hoof out to her. "Need some help?" Nightingale could feel her face get hotter. "Err... Sure..." Nightingale replied. "And you know, you don't have to call me Miss Swirl. Just Nightingale." She said when she was back on all four hooves. "Okay, I'll keep that in mind." Solar said with a smile on his face. "How's being a royal in training going for you?" Nightingale asked, calming down a bit. "Oh, it's going great! I have a final test to determined if I can become a royal guard or not." A sudden frown appeared on the stallion's muzzle. "I'm actually kinda afraid I'll mess it up..." "I'm sure that you'll do just fine, Rays." Nightingale tried her best to hide the massive blush on her face. It's not like she'd have a chance with Solar Rays. He's training to become a royal guard! And I she does is study and have no friends or any connection to any other ponies! But I does study under the Princess of Equestria so... No! Snap out of it Nightingale! If Rays does like you, it'll be for who you are, not your social standard. He's not like those other stuck-up Canterlot Ponies... Nightingale's thoughts were circling around on Solar Rays, forgetting the book floating besides her. She really did like him ever since they met... ................................................................................................................................................................................................................................. Nightingale was running down the halls of Canterlot Castle towards the thrown room. "Princess Spectrum!" She exclaimed. "I'm here! What's the urgent emergency?!" "Well... It's not the most urgent thing... I just wanted you to meet the royal guards in training." The princess replied nervously. "Ooh, Princess." Nightingale said rolling her eyes with a slight smile on her face. "You're quite the troll." "Thank you, Miss Swirl." Replied Spectrum. "Now, here we have Eclipse." Nightingale observed the stallion. He was a unicorn with a purple coat with a curly white mane, and diamond blue eyes. He looked worried. Hmm... She though to herself. I bet the other two will as nervous as this one. Maybe even more times infinity! Nightingale giggled at her remark as the princess introduced the next stallion. "This is Fast Flight." Fast Flight was a grey pegasus pony with a flat brown mane and magenta eyes. He looks more calm. Nightingale observed, And he shows no trace of worry on his face... She thought. "And here, we have Solar Rays." The red pegasus looked like he was about to get sent to the moon. He looked so nervous. His bright teal eyes were twitching, and his green tail kept flicking back and forth. "He looks awful." Nightingale whispered to the princess and chuckled. "I'll see if I can help him. The other two seem stable, but he looks like he's about to collapse." Nightingale giggled to the princess. "Okay." she replied back with a smile. "Guards in training are dismissed!" And like that, all three of the stallions scurried out. Nightingale went out the throne room and saw Solar Rays and walked up to him "Hello there. I'm Nightingale Swirl." Nightingale kindly greeted him and the two began talking. ~~~ "Uh... Nightingale...?" The voice of somepony snapped Nightingale out of her daydream and back to real life. "Oh! Solar Rays!" She said. "I've got to go. See you another time?" "Uh... Sure!" She said, wanting to spend lots more time with him. "See you later. I've got some place to get to as well." And like that, Nightingale continued down the hall. "You blew it again, Solar! When will you ask her?!" Solar Rays yelled at himself as soon as Nightingale was out of hearing distance. ~~~ Nightingale was in hallway where he room was. As soon as she got on the second floor, she stopped running and began to slowly walk. "Ah... Now, I can just find a book to see where this symbol is from. Cocoa should be awake from her nap by the time I get there, and then I'll ask the princess what she knows about this symbol if I still have questions." Nightingale thought aloud to herself, "It's the perfect plan!" She said with her eyes beaming, clapping her hooves together. At that moment, Nightingale could hear giggles. "What in Equestria?" Nightingale turned from the corner and saw four mares standing in front of her door with Cocoa Pop. "Oh no..." Nightingale murmured under the breath. "Hey, Nightingale!" Cocoa Pop exclaimed, "Come and join us!" Nightingale sighed. "Hey, girls... Coming!" Nightingale walked over to them as slowly as she could. "What are you four doing here?" Nightingale questioned her four 'friends' as to why they were here. "Soft Song is having a get-together today, remember?" Scarlet Heart replied. "Yeah! I sat on a two hour train ride to get here from Fillydelphia!" Star exclaimed. "And you promised us AND Soft Song that you'll come." Starlight Wishes said with a stern look on her face. "So let's go!" Beaming Rays exclaimed. "Oh... Uh... I've got some important work from Princess Spectrum I have to complete..." Nightingale said with an unsure smile, "So bye!" Nightingale used her magic to teleport the mares to Soft Song's home. "Hey!" Cocoa Pop exclaimed. Nightingale turned around to see her chocolate brown dragon assistant have a mad look on her face, "What was that for?!" Nightingale stroked Cocoa's beige scales. "I'm sorry, but I found something and I need to check it out". Cocoa let baby pink fire escape her mouth and burned Nightingale's face, "Cocoa..." She groaned as she fixed herself with magic. "What was so important that we had to miss Soft Song's get-together?!" Cocoa snapped. "This..." Nightingale said holding up 'Diary Of A Princess'. "Oh... So this book is more important then hanging out with your friends... Even though one of them is the sister of your crush..." Cocoa said with a smirk. "Cocoa!" Nightingale said with a mad blush on her face. "Kidding, kidding, kidding... I feel like I've seen this before. But I don't know where..." Cocoa trailed off on her words. "That's why I brought it. Let's find out what it is!" "Okay, but... What do I do with this?" Cocoa Pop held up a purple box with a yellow bow on it, "It's a gift for Soft Song." "We don't need that." Nightingale levitated the present up on the night table, "Now come on!" She urged. Cocoa Pop did nothing but let out a faint sigh. "Coming..." She said bluntly. ~~~ "No, No, No, No, No, UGH!" Nightingale let out a yell of frustration, "I can't find anything!" "Me either." Cocoa's voice could be heard all the way from the other side of the room. "And it's all ready midnight!" hoofsteps (or clawsteps, anything you want) could be heard coming towards Nightingale. "I'm starting to think this is a lost cause." The small figure said. "So do I, Cocoa..." Nightingale sighed. "Have you read that book yet?" Cocoa yawned. At that moment, Nightingale's ears perked up. "N-no..." She said, "But I'll start. I'm still concerned why it's called 'Diary Of A Princess'." Nightingale opened the book and shook it to get the dust out. "What's this?" She said staring at a small piece of writing on the first page. "From one to another. Another to one. A mark of one's destiny singled out alone fulfilled." Nightingale's eyes both had a star twinkle in them for a second, and a hot pink aurora swirled around her horn. "Uh... Nightingale...?" Cocoa said in worry. Yet, Nightingale didn't hear her and kept reading. "From all of us together. Together we are friends. With the marks of our destinies made one, there is magic without end." The book began to glow hot pink as a hot pink bust of magic hit Nightingale in the head. "Nightingale!" Cocoa Pop screamed in fright, "Are you Alright?!" But Nightingale couldn't hear as something from the past was playing in her head. ~~~ All of a sudden, the lavender unicorn's element began to glow pure white, and a magic force came out pushing her friends aside. Then, magical auroras were around the other Elements of Harmony matching the color of the element. A sudden red bust of magic of the cyan pegasus's element flung out to Twilight. Then, the pink earth pony's element. Then, the country pony, white unicorn, and yellow pegasus had their elements fire at her. A white force field formed around the young unicorn. She was worried, but the smiled and put her head down as she disappeared in a flash, her cutie mark burnt on the floor where she was standing. "What happened?!" The yellow pegasus questioned in fright. S creams escaped the muzzles of the pink yellow and white mares. "Oh no!" the blue pegasus yelled. "Where did she go?!" The orange earth pony asked unsure of what just happened. ~~~ "Cocoa!" Nightingale exclaimed. "What?" "I don't know why, but somethings telling me that we HAVE to go to Ponyville. Right now!" "Wait... What?! Why?" Cocoa Pop questioned. "I... I... I don't know! Just start packing! I'll tell the princess I'll taking a break off studies. I'm sure she'd actually want me to do it, so we should have no trouble at all." Cocoa Pop stared at her in confusion, but let it pass. "Alright... If you say so!" > Chapter Three: A Bump In The Road > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The wind blew Nightingale's mane all over the place as the charriot she and Cocoa Pop were sitting in sped through the sky. Nightingale looked down below to see a little town. "That must be Ponyville!" Cocoa Pop exclaimed. "It is, Ms. Pop. We will arrive shortly" One of the guards said. "I wonder who we'll meet!" Cocoa said excitedly, "I hope I can make some new friends!" "We are not here to make friends!" Nightingale whispered. "We're here to find out where this symbol came from! And why it gave me that vision of what looked like a pony dying!" Nightingale saw that Cocoa was looking down at the down. "Hey! Are you listening?!" Cocoa Pop said nothing, but she pointed to a big crystal castle in the middle of the town. "What in Equestria...?!" That was when it happened again... ~~~ A lot of ponies gathered around the new castle that magically appeared. All of a sudden, the big doors swung open to reveal the lavender alicorn princess. "Each one of us has something special. That makes us different. That makes us rare..." She begun. It was then when the yellow pony spoke up once everypony was in the castle. "We have a light that shines within us... That we were always, meant to share..!" Then the six ponies began to sing. "And when we come together, combine the light that shines within. There is nothing we can't do. There is no battle we can't win, when we come together. There'll be a star to guide the way, it's inside us everyday... See it now... See it now... Let the rainbow remind you, that together we will always shine..! Let the rainbow remind you, that together this will be out time." Then, the lavender alicorn sang one last line as five ponies and a dragon gathered for a picture. "Let the rainbow remind you... That together we will always shine..." ~~~ "Nightingale!" "Oh! Sorry, Cocoa." "Another vision?" Nightingale slowly nodded her head. "Just tell me what you saw in both visions. Maybe we can figure it out." Cocoa said with a warm smile. "We are her!" A guard said as they landed. "Thank you." Both stallions held their heads up in pride as they flew off back to Canterlot. "About the visions..?" Cocoa Pop slowly said to Nightingale, only to get a frazzled sigh from the unicorn. "Okay, Cocoa. These visions are really confusing, I can't tell what's going on." "It's alright." Cocoa assured. "Let's find a place to eat and talk about it." After the two talked, they sat there quietly trying to analyze the visions. It was half an hour of thinking until Nightingale jumped out of her hey chair and started hopping in circles around their table and yelling "I got it! I got it! I got it! I got it! I got it!" Lots of ponies turned their attention to the young mare. Nightingale blushed as a nervous smile came to her face. "Are you okay, ma'am?" One of the waiters said. "Hehehe... Yea... I just... got it...!" Ponies sat back down and Cocoa turned her head to Nightingale. "So, you got what?" "In each of my visions, I saw the same six ponies. And in the one with that castle, I saw a little dragon. I'm sure they're all important in some way!" "That does explain a lot..." "Also... That castle has a star symbol on it similar to this book. Doesn't that seem weird?" "Hmm... Let's ask somepony." Cocoa Pop suggested. "Excuse me, sir." Nightingale said, waving her hoof to a waiter. "May I help you?" "Yes actually. Do you know how long that castle has been standing there?" "That thing? Oh I have no idea!" "Wait... WHAT?! Don't you live here? "Yes, but nopony knows why it's here. Ponies say it was magically built over night." The waiter said with a warm smile. Nightingale and Cocoa Pop were shocked. "Err... Thanks for your help anyways..." Once the two payed and walked to the main road on Ponyville, Nightingale spoke up. "We have to read the book, NOW!" "Okay, okay, coming." "I'm sorry, Cocoa. It's just... How can this castle be here in Ponyville with it's residents now knowing why it's here?!" "I guess that's strange... Let's go!" > Chapter Four: Things You Find Out... > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Here we are!" Nightingale exclaimed, "The castle!" The young unicorn turned her head towards somepony standing outside the big gates. "Uhm, excuse me? I'm Nightingale Swirl. And this is my friend, Cocoa Pop. Do you know where this castle came from?" "Nope!" The tour guide happily said, "But you can look around. No charge!" He said with a warm smile. "Thank you, sir." Nightingale said as she walked away. "I don't understand, Cocoa. These ponies don't know a thing..." "Let's just find a place to sit down and read the book." The two of them walked in the castle, and the first thing they saw was a big round table with seven thrones around it. "Hey! That star on that thrown looks exactly like the one on the book!" Cocoa exclaimed. "Too much..." Nightingale muttered under her breath. "Hey! This table has all of Equestria marked down on it! How cool is that?!" Cocoa kept looking around the room, " And look at this! This looks like the roots of an Oak Tree!" That was when it happened again... ................................................................................................................................................................................................................................ All the ponies were sat in their thrones, except for one. The lavender alicorn finally calmed down and sat on her respected thrown. Magical auroras surrounded the marks on the thrones and all beamed to the middle. A map appeared in a flash of light of which blinded the seven friends. When they all got their vision back, they did nothing the gasp in awe for the scene that was just placed before them... ................................................................................................................................................................................................................................ Cocoa Pop was still checking the room out when Nightingale was seeing the present again. It wasn't until then something caught her eye. "What are those gems?!" Cocoa Pop turned her head up to the the gems dangling down from the roots to see that there were pictures of six ponies, and occasionally a dragon sewed within the gemstones. "Wow! Look at the cutiemarks of those ponies! They look just like the marks on these thrones!" "It's more than that, Cocoa Pop. Those ponies... They're the ones from my visions!" "Really?! And what about that dragon?" "I saw him a couple of times in the background." Nightingale let out a faint sigh, "I don't like this, Cocoa." "Me neither. Let's just do what we originally planned." "Okay..." And like that, the two of them sat down in a library with a mirror inside. A huge contraption was built around it with some book at the top. Both of them were very confused, but let it pass. Nightingale cracked open the book and began... "So... I read that spell. So let us continue!" *cough* "The spell on the first page was the one that turned me into a princess... Well, more or less. The first part of the spell belongs to the great wizard, Starswirl Abearded. I casted the spell and switched the cutiemarks of my friends. Rarity had Rainbow Dash's cutiemark, Rainbow Dash had Fluttershy's cutiemark, Fluttershy had Pinkie Pie's cutiemark, Pinkie Pie had Applejack's cutiemark, and Applejack had Rarity's cutiemark. Spike and I realized that we had to show them what their true destinies were by helping the pony who got their cutiemark. When we were all back to normal, I realized something. It was out friendship. The Magic Of Friendship will live on, and it was that moment that proved it. I finished the spell and hung my head high, all my friends had no idea what I was talking about, but if I was happy about something, they knew it was something good! But them the elements zapped me, and they brought me to this place where I met Princess Celestia! I felt myself being lifted into the air, and a lavender aurora was surrounding me. I landed back on the ground, and I had WINGS?! It was then I was dubbed, Princess Twilight Sparkle." "I think I'm beginning to understand..." Cocoa said in disbelief. "I'm not sure what's going on... But we have to find out more! One piece of information is good. That's what we have. But we must keep looking!" Nightingale firmly said. "Then keep reading!" Cocoa exclaimed. And that's what they did. > Chapter Five: Off To Fillydelphia! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- After Nightingale had read aloud parts of the diary, she and Cocoa Pop were in dead silence. They couldn't make up what was going on. Nightingale tried to process how it all could've happened. A unicorn turning into an alicorn? Elements of Harmony? There's a tree? A creature named Discord? Time Travel? Sunset Shimmer, and another world is out there? Another that is almost the same as this one? Nightingale looked at the mirror in the corner of the room. Ponies were crowded around it looking amazed. If only she could tell them all... And Starlight Glimmer? Time Travel? Nightingale and Cocoa Pop were having the same confused spinning in their heads. "I think I would like to see this Tree Of Harmony." Nightingale said after what seemed like hours. "But, Nightingale!" Cocoa exclaimed in shock, "That could be dangerous!" Nightingale sighed. "I know, I know. It's just... I need to understand what's going on. These elements, how does nopony know them? How does somepony forget a group on ponies who were once the heroines of Equestria?!" Nightingale could've sworn that there was a a faint glow in the corner that looked like a pony and walked towards it. It look like a... Lavender alicorn?! She had a midnight blue mane with a thin streak of hot pink and purple on the side left side of her horn and at the bottom of her tail. Her cutiemark resembeld the same hot pink star with the five surrounding stars and one at the back of the hot pink, just like on the book. "Nightingale! What are you doing?!" Cocoa asked in worry. But Nightingale didn't listen and she was sure she heard a voice come from the faint glow. "You can do this, Princess." The glow said and slowly vanished, leaving poor Nightingale in shock. "D-did you see that?!" Nightingale exclaimed to Cocoa Pop. "Uh... See what?" Nightingale shook her head. "Did you not see that glow in the corner?" "Nightingale, I think you're going crazy..." "Cocoa in the loco!" A high pitched voice said from behind the two talking ponies (yes I know Cocoa Pop is a dragon!). Nightingale and Cocoa Pop spun themselves around to see a red mare with a long wavy and puffy mane that was green and yellow. Her eyes were bright pink. Her cutie mark had a bubble in the shape of a lime, and she wore the most welcoming smile they have ever seen "Hiya there!" The mare squeaked once again, "I'm Bubble Lime!" "Oh. Well, Bubble Lime. My name is Nightingale Swirl, and this is my faithful assistant, Cocoa Pop." Nightingale replied to the earth pony's warm welcome. "Well, nice to meet you! I've come here all the time because my mom and dad my three sisters still live in that rock farm right outside of Ponyville! I actually live in Fillydelphia. And even though I live there I still know the names and birthdays of everypony, and I really don't recall seeing you two here, and I was like, let me say hi! And I was like hiya! and you guys said high and now we can be friends! I can show you my friends back at Fillydelphia! There's my bestie, Breezie, then there's my maybe cousin, CC! And I can't forget timid little Bunny! And last but not least, Ivy! she's super fashionable! She always makes shiny sparkly things! And I can't forget everypony else over there! There's..." And Bubble Lime went on a talking rampage about Fillydelphia. "Uh... Bubble Lime..?" Nightingale said, "Cocoa and I actually have someplace else to go, And- "And we won't mind coming over to Fillydelphia straight after!" Cocoa Pop interrupted "Oh, goodie! I'll tell all my friends!" And like that, Bubble Lime darted out the door screaming something from a giant megaphone that was deafening to anypony who heard it (WB Academy flashback anyone?), "I NEED TO CATCH THE TRAIN! DON'T FORGET TO COME!!!" After they recovered, Nightingale turned to Cocoa Pop. "Why in Equestria did you tell her that we would COME?!" "We hardly get out so why don't we just hang with her and her friends a bit..? Hehehe..." She chuckled nervously. Nightingale sighed. "Fine... Now let's use the map in the book to find the tree, shall we?" Cocoa nodded her head and they both set off to the Everfree Forest. After encounters with the timberwolves and finally seeing through the darkness of the forest, both Nightingale and Cocoa Pop made it safely (more or less) to the tree. In front of them was a tree that seemed to be made of crystal, and had five elements around it, and the marks of the princesses back then underneath the sixth element was stored within the tree. It brightly shined and and Nightingale was sure that she heard the voice that belonged to that glow earlier that day. "Princess! You can do this. You need other ponies in your life. I assure you, when this is done you'll realize and go back to Canterlot to apologize to those you've wronged." Nightingale felt shaky. She didn't have another vision, but she got knowledge. It was all on the tree. She seemed to know how Celestia and Luna found it. She knew about the elements and how they got there. She was sure the little glow had something to do with it. "Cocoa Pop..." She whimpered, "W-we NEED to go to Fillydelphia. I really think that Bubble Lime and those other mares she mentioned can help us. Cocoa Pop blinked in disbelief. "Okay... I'll get the guards to come..." > Chapter Six: Meetings > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Hurry up! Go on! Can't you go faster?!" Nightingale screamed at the top of her voice to the guards pulling the chariot once again, yet this time to Fillydelphia from Ponyville. "I must get there as quick as possible! So step on it!" Nightingale squeaked as the chariot was pulled faster, but that wasn't all. Her vision began to turn all fuzzy. "Sweet Spectrum, not now..." She muttered under the breath. .................................................................................................................................................................................................................................. "My dear, Twilight. There is more to a young pony's life than studying. So I'm sending you to supervise the preparation for the Summer Sun Celebration in this years location, Ponyville. And, I have an even more essential task for you to complete. Make some friends!" The baby dragon enthusiastically said to the lavender unicorn. A faint sigh escaped her muzzle. "Look on the bright side, Twilight." The purple dragon said as an attempt to cheer his friend up, "The princess arranged for you to stay in a library. Doesn't that make you happy?" Suddenly, Twilight sat up." Yes. Yes it does. And you wanna know why? Because I'm right. I'll check on the preparation as fast as I can. Then get to the library to find some proof on Nightmare Moon's return." "Then... When will you make friends like the princess said?" "She said to check on preparations. I am her student, and I'll do my royal duty. But the fate of Equestria does not rest on me making friends. ................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... "Nightingale! Nightingale, we're here!" "Huh..?" "OH MY SPECTRUM! NIGHTINGALE! COCOA POP! IT'S YOU GUYS! GIRLS! GIRLS COME! THESE ARE THE PONIES I WAS TALKING ABOUT!" "B-bubble Lime?!" Nightingale exclaimed in disbelief of finding her as soon as they got there. Cocoa Pop giggled. "Instead of us finding her, she found us!" "So! Let's begin! This is my bestie, Sky Breeze, but we call her Sky, or Breezie!" Bubble Lime said with a big smile on her face. "Actually, Bubs here is the only pony who's allowed to call me Breezie." Sky said while she and gave Bubble Lime and hoofbump. Nightingale saw that Sky was a turquoise pegasus pony who had plum colored eyes. She had a long silky dark yellow mane with some think pink strips, a braided tail, and a few freckles on her face. Her cutiemark had the sun behind a grey cloud with a lighting bolt shooting out of it. Before she could say a word, Bubble Lime moved on to the next mare. Before her was a light orange earth pony with a wavy beige mane tied into a high ponytail. She had a short wavy tail, and brown eyes. Her face was surrounded with freckles. Her cutiemark was a heart made out of what could've been brown sugar mixed with of course, cinnamon. "This is another one of my friends! Cinnamon Crush! We call her, Cinni, or CC!" Bubble Lime was overjoyed until she remembered something, "OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH!" "Uh... Ohmygosh what?" Sky said as everypony was looking at her. "I forgot to say that CC and I might be cousins!" Bubble said, her face glowing bright. "Uh... How are you two related..?" Nightingale asked confused. The two of them looked nothing alike. "The Crush family is a fourth cousin twice removed by the Lime family!" Bubble Lime happily said. "Okay..." Cocoa said, "Now, who are the other two?" "Oh! This is Ivory Lace, and Bunnyflower!" Ivory lace was a unicorn with an ivory coat. She had a bright reddish-pinkish mane which was wavy at the front, and swirly at the back. She had beautiful amber colored eyes, and her cutiemark was a heart made of amber wrapped around lace fabric which matched the color of her mane. She was a very pretty and eye-catching. Ivory had many stallions had found her attractive and tried to hook up with her, but they never succeeded. "It was something all of us laugh about." She had told her. Her accent was very posh and fancy. Nightingale found it hard to believe she was from Fillydelphia. She also found out that her nickname is Ivy. She didn't expect that. Bunnyflower on the other hoof was a white pegasus with a ruffled pink mane with lots of layers. She had the same shade of pink for her eyes, and she had a light pink cutiemark of a bunny's pawprint. Not only that, but she had a hair clip of a bunny in her mane. As the day passed, Nightingale and Cocoa Pop learned a lot about the ponies they've met. Bubble Lime was a huge scatterbrain. She had a terrible memory, and she always lost her stuff. But she was always happy and cheerful, and would do anything to wipe a frown off the face of anypony. And she was the best baker. She stays with Mr. and Mrs. Cupcake at Sweet Delights. They saw that Cinnamon Crush was really down to earth who loves being outdoors, and really strong. She also runs her family's spice farm, Spice N' Stuff. She is pretty stubborn and responsible, but she'd always put her own needs aside if her actions were causing any trouble. She is terrible at lying. She could never keep a secret, and if she didn't tell the truth, she'd live with the guilt until she lets it out to somepony. Sky Breeze was a really sporty pony. She's always causing mischief and is really competitive, being as fast as light on both land and air, her strength nearly matches Cinnamon's. She's pretty active, but pretty lazy as well. A thrid of her day is normally spent napping on a cloud, and she's the captain of the Ponyville weather team. She may be rude and aggressive, but no matter what, and no matter the situation, she'd always help anypony, even if she didn't like it. And no matter what, everypony knows she's the real althlete. They saw that Bunnyflower was shy and timid. Practically as frail as a flower! But she was kind and spoke soft and gently. She loved nature and everything that inhabits it. She started a small animal hospital at her cottage that was found abandoned near the edge of the Everfree Forest. Getting scared easily, she often stays close to Sky in "scary situations" since the two have known one another since they were fillies. Lastly, they saw that Ivory Lace adored fashion. She has a boutique called Magnifique Chique, and she also loves to make things for everypony. Various gifts were given by Ivory. She would even make one-of-a-kind creations and send them off to charity. She doesn't like sports and getting dirty, but she doesn't mind sauntering around town to feel the crisp breeze in her mane and admire the scenery of the town. Nightingale couldn't believe it, "How are Sky and Bunny friends, they're total opposite! Same with Bunny and Bubble! And Ivory, Cinnamon, and Sky!" Nightingale said to Cocoa Pop. "That doesn't mean you can't be friends. They all have different personalities! And sure they fight, but that's what a real friend is. The ones you can count on. The ones who will be there for you when you need it." Cocoa replied hoping that Nightingale will change her ways and make more friends. Nightingale sighed in response with a small smile on her face as she watched the five ponies chatter and laugh away. > Chapter Seven: Telling Tales > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "So, you gonna tell them?" Cocoa Pop asked Nightingale. "Wait... What?!" "Come on! These ponies are trustworthy, truthful, happy, giving, and kind!" "And how do you know that?" "Well... Bubble Lime finished all her cake and Ivory had one more left so she gave it to her. Cinnamon looks like she's about to blow. I think she's been keeping in secrets and hates letting them out. I'm sure she's the one who would stay true to her word. and Bubble Lime is so... Bubbly! Bunnyflower is actually pretty sweet and kind. She sings and gets animals to come to her, and treats them fairly and justly. And Sky, she keeps saying "No prob!" or "I'll be there!" and "You can count on me!" so many times!" Nightingale stared at the girls before her. She did smile earlier. Would it hurt to tell them? No, it wouldn't. So like that, Nightingale coughed and spoke up, "Uhm... girls?" All the mares look up at Nightingale with a smile, "Wassup?" Sky said in her usual cool tone. "You see... Bubble Lime found me in Ponyville, but... There was a good reason for that..." Nightingale slowly said while taking "Diary Of A Princess" out her saddlebag, "It's this..." "Diary Of A Princess? Darling, what does a book do that makes you want to go to Ponyville?" Ivory said. "Yea... For once, I'm with Ivy." Sky said. "Uhm... Girls. I really think we should let her finish. She wanted to tell us something, but even if it doesn't make sense now, it could make even more sense if we wait for her to tell us everything..?" Bunnyflower quietly said. "Ahm' with Bunny on 'tis one. Y'all just wait for Nightingale to tell us!" Cinnamon said with a toffee treat in her mouth. "YA! LET'S WAIT!" Bubble Lime said running around the table on her back hooves with her front hooves up in the air (Basically like a human.). After she ran around the table five times, Sky extended her hoof to stop her. "Bubs." She said in an annoyed tone. "Yea?" "Sit down!" "Okie Dokie Lokie!" All the ponies looked at Nightingale happily. Nightingale took a deep breath and then opened the book to the first page. "You see this? This is a spell. It helped a unicorn student name Twilight Sparkle become a princess. She used to the first half to make her friends switch cutiemarks by accident. She found a away to fix it, and ended the spell. With all the work she did, the ruler of that time, Princess Celestia brought Twilight to this place where the she became and Alicorn Princess." Nightingale nervously gulped. She imagined all the ponies to be laughing and calling her a weirdo, but that didn't happen, "Don't stop there!" Sky exclaimed. "The story was just getting good!" Bubble whined, "Keep talking!" "Yes, dear. I would very much like to know what happens." Ivory said in a desperate tone. "Ya, Nightingale! Keep on readin'!" Cinnamon said. "Uh... That is, if you want to keep reading... B-but if you don't that's fine..!" Bunny squeaked. The responses made Nightingale smile. "I guess they do care." Nightingale thought, "I'm glad I told them"! With that, Nightingale continued. She told them about the visions, and how the entire story came together. She told them about the elements and, and told them things she didn't even know. "Must be knowledge flowing through me." She muttered under the breath. But deep down, she was glad she knew this information. She was sure that she, Cocoa Pop and these ponies could solve the case on why nopony else remembers the Elements Of Harmony, Princess Twilight, and why Rarity and Rainbow Dash aren't remembered in history. Rarity should be known as one of the biggest fashion legends, and Rainbow Dash should be known to be the best Wonderbolt of all time. But nopony knew their names, "I'm sure that the seven of us can figure this out!" Nightingale said with a determined look on her face. > Chapter Eight: Just Some More Info > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- After more reading, the gang decided that it would be best to go into the castle and find some evidence on the Elements. Nightingale was glad that the five mares believed every word she told them. She smiled at the thought and then turned to her friends. Friends? Yea, they were her friends. "Alright girls! We've got to catch the train for Ponyville and do research!" A slight groan could be heard from Sky, but Nightingale brushed it off, "Is everypony packed and ready to go?" "Eeyup!" Cinnamon said as she tightened the strap on her saddlebag, "I'm ready too!" Sky said, "I'm just helping Bunny fasten her saddlebag." "Ivory and I are ready to go!" Bubble sang followed by a nod from Ivory, "And I've packed everything you and I would need for the trip!" Cocoa smiled, "Thanks, Cocoa." Nightingale said, "What would I do without you?" "You wouldn't be able to do anything!" Cocoa joked "I'm ready." Bunnyflower said, "Alright then gang!" Nightingale spoke, "Let's get to the train station and make in to Ponyville!" After a small train ride, all the ponies ended up in Ponyville. "Oh... I've visited Ponyville many times before, but not once have I ever though about this castle being part of the up most importance." Ivory said as they entered the castle, "Yea, especially since you had a vision of six ponies and one dragon seeing a map appear in the middle of the room." Sky added, "Come to think of it, how'd y'all think it happened." Cinnamon asked. All faces turned to her confused, "Ah' mean why did it happen?" All the faces were still confused. Cinnamon rolled her eyes, "What Ahm' tryin' to say is, why did the elements exist? Why did all 'em ponies need to be erased from history? And why is this all happenin' now?" Now everypony understood what Cinnamon was trying to say. They were all trying to find answers in their heads, but with no avail, "I think we now understand, Cinnamon. However, these questions are the reason we're all here. I'm sure we can find out the answers." Nightingale responded, "Yea, I've been scared and confused about all of this. The best thing we should do is stick together." Bunnyflower suggested, "I'm all in with ya, Bunny!" Bubble claimed. ~Story Pause~ "WHY CAN'T I BE IN THE STORY AND TELL THEM?!" "W-what?! P-pinkie Pie?! What are you doing here?!" "I'm always with you, duh!" *Squee "But you- Then- How? But..!" "Oh forget it! Can you just put me in the story now and let me tell them everything?!" (cute face) "What but... But... OH FORGET IT! *facehoof "So... Can I?!" "W-what?! No!" "Aww... Why not?!" "Because in this story, YOU AND THE REST OF THE MAIN CAST ARE DEAD!" "Then why can't I come in a spirit? Twilight already got it! That's no fair!" "You can't because you're meant to be the spirit that stalks- Don't you make me spill the beans on this story, Pinkie!" "Aww... But, Stormy..!" "Pinkie, no! And don'cha ever call me 'Stormy' ever again" "But-" "I said no! Now go back into your cage!" "Aww... But what if I gave you a cupcake?" What... What?! I don't want some cupcake! They make me sick ever since the incident! "It was a fan-made 'incident'!" "No risks..." "Aww..." *sigh "Pinkie Pie sure is... A hoofull you could say. Anyways... Back to the story!" ~Resume~ "Ya ya ya! We just gotta get looking. If we find anything, we'll alert one another, now let's go!" Sky said as she dashed off (Get it? "Dashed"? ..... No..? Nevermind...) Everypony went ahead and did the same. ~Many hours later~ "I found something!" Nightingale exclaimed. Everypony gathered around to see what it was, "Hey, where's Sky?" "Oh, she's sleeping in a pile of books! I'll get her!" Bubble pulled out a giant megaphone, "Bubble, no!" Ivory screamed as Bubble Lime was about to yell into the megaphone, "SKY!!!!!" All of a sudden, Sky appeared next to Bubble Lime in a flash (Get it? Flash? Anyone? The Flash? ..... I GIVE UP!) Nightingale rolled her eyes and showed what she had found, "The Journal Of The Two Sisters!" Everypony looked at Nightingale ready to hear what she would say, "When we all read 'Diary Of A Princess', we found out that Princess Twilight and her friends found the elements in Celestia and Luna's old castle. Well, 'The Journal Of The Two Sisters' shows Celestia's and Luna's perspectives of them living here. There's even a map. If we can follow it to where the elements were found, we can get more answers!" "B-but... Isn't that castle in the Everfree Forest?!" Bunnyflower reminded, "It's just not natural there!" "I'm sure that if Princess Twilight and the rest of her friends were able to go there all the time, we can too!" Sky said trying to comfort her friend, "Eeyup! And Ahm' sure everythin' will be just fine." Cinnamon added, "But it is icky and dirty over there..." Ivory said, "It's a forest for Spectrum's sake!" Sky grunted. Both her and Ivory were looking at each other coldly, "Alright, y'all, break the stares!" Cinnamon said. Nightingale and Cocoa Pop giggled at the sight. Were they always like this? They were pretty sure. Even Bunnyflower and Bubble Lime had smiles on their faces. Bubble Lime came to their side, "Yep! Always like this!" She whispered loudly. Everypony looked at her and Ivory and Sky looked at each other and erupted into laughter. "Okay, Let's just head out." Nightingale said, "And don't worry Bunny and Ivory, Nothing will happen to you two." Cocoa Smirked. All seven of them were in giggles and ponies looked at them as if they were crazy! Which they were. > Chapter Nine: Mystery In The Everfree > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The seven friends were stood right by the entrance of the forest. They were all quiet and still. Nightingale sighed. She felt a hoof on her shoulder. She looked to the side of her to see Sky beside her, "Like Bunny said, we're gonna stick together and do this together." She assured, "Eeyup." Cinnamon agreed. Ivory, Bubble, Cocoa, and Bunny had smiles on their faces as Bunny gave a small nod, "Thanks, girls." Nightingale said facing the forest, "Now let's set off into the Everfree." She said a little more confident. And with that, she led them into the dark abyss. ~~~ As the light faded away, Nightingale and Ivory lit their horns for light. Nightingale took the book the follow the map to the castle. It was a long time of silence, for everypony was on the lookout for anything strange. It wasn't until Sky's sharp eye caught a blue light. And a yellow light, pink light, white light, orange light, purple light and lavender light... "Uh... Guys..." She said with a gulp. The lights began to surround them. They all stood together. A sudden gust of wind whipped the book right out of Nightingale's magic grip. Everypony gasped in fright. Nightingale and Ivory's lights went out. It was pitch dark. No light, the only thing they had were those seven mysterious orbs, "I can't light up my horn!" Nightingale cried, "Neither can I! Sky, Bunny. Please do be a dear and fly us all out!" Ivory said, "Why can't you use your magic?!" Sky said, "My magic is off, and I'm guessing Nightingale's is as well since the two of us are not doing anything!" Ivory yelled. Sky rolled her eyes, not that anypony saw. She attempted to fly up, but with no avail. She kept trying and trying, but it didn't work, "I can't!" A small voice squeaked, "Let me try." But as it turned out, Bunnyflower couldn't fly as well, "So... What are we going to do now..?" Cinnamon asked. Nightingale looked at the lights and realized something. Yes, she and her friends were holding on to each other, but there were individual lights in front of all the ponies and Cocoa. And that lavender light in front of her... It looked familiar... "Girls, go the light in front of you." "You want us to do what?!" They all questioned in unison. "Just trust me!" A sudden howl echoed through their ears. The wind became stronger, and the lights were going away, in different directions!" "Let's get to it!" Bubble Lime chanted as she happily hopped after the pink light that was in front of her, "Bubble you idiot!" Sky yelled, "No turning back now!" She said as she disappeared into the dark trying to overtake the blue light. "Ahm' sure y'all are gonna be regrouped again." Cinnamon sighed as she trotted after the orange light. Ivory sighed, "I'm sure this will be icky." And she ran after the white light. Nightingale look over at the trembling mare, "It'll be alright, Bunnyflower. You have to trust me. They all went. Like Sky said, 'no turning back now'." Bunnyflower looked at Nightingale with tears flowing from her eyes. She nodded her head as she walked in the direction the yellow light went. "So, do you think Cinnamon is right, and that we'll regroup?" Cocoa asked, "I'm sure of it." nightingale replied. And like that, Cocoa Pop scurried after the purple light. Nightingale sighed as she faced the direction the lavender light went, "I'm not sure what you're up to, Princess Twilight. But all I know is that you, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, and Spike are here to help us." And Nightingale quickly ran after the lavender light. It wasn't long until the light expanded into some kind of portal and Nightingale fell right through it... > Chapter Ten: With Her > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nightingale slowly got up to observe her surroundings. Everything was pitch black. It looked more dark than the Everfree Forest on its own. She sighed and sat back down trying to find a way to solve this. Why did these lights come? Were they really Princess Twilight and her friends? I could've put everypony in danger! I should've reported the matter to Princess Spectrum! I'm such an idiot! And Cinnamon was right, why is this all happening now? Why did I have to be so nosy?! Darn you Nightingale! While she was stuck in her thoughts, the small lavender orb appeared next to her. In a flash, the lavender light became a lavender alicorn with midnight blue mane with purple and hot pink streaks. "P-princess Twilight..?" She muttered in disbelief. The Princess Of Friendship nodded her head, "B-but how?! You're dead!" The princess chuckled and came up to her. "In your conscious, I can talk to you anywhere!" She said. Nightingale blinked. Uhhhhh..... Am I dreaming..? She thought. "It's kinda like a dream, but in your unconscious." The princess responded to her thought. "H-wow did you know what I was thinking?!" Nightingale asked in shock. Twilight giggled. "It's your conscious. I'm here with you. And Pinks, AJ, Dash, Rares, Flutters, and Spike are with your friends." Nightingale looked at the princess. "Is anything wrong?" "Uhm... Yea..." She began. "Why are they with my friends, and why are you with me?" "Wow, I bet they're explaining to your friends right now!" Twilight said with a grin on her face, "You really wanna know?" "More then anything! We've all been wondering why this is happening now and to us!" Twilight nodded as she lit up her horn. "I'm sure you know the Elements Of Harmony, but do you know how each of these relics came to be?" Nightingale slowly shook her head. "Expected that, none of the books have any real answers." And in a flash, a great white screen appeared, "After the Earth Ponies, Unicorns, and Pegasi settled their differences, they wanted a way to keep their harmony in tact. ~ON THE SCREEN~ "I am glad that all of you have agreed to meet us." Princess Platinum said, "Clover here said she had an idea, and wanted to announce it to the tribe rulers and their assistants." Princess Platinum moved to the side to allow Clover The Clever to step in and present her idea. "Well, I've had the idea to create some kind of spark that will help ponykind keep their harmony together." "Oooh! I'm in! I'm In! No doubt about it." Chancellor Puddinghead yelled, waving her hooves in the air. Smart Cookie rolled her eyes. "Chancellor, maybe we should hear Clover out so we know what they idea is?" "Oooooh... Good idea!" She said as she sat back down.. "So, the idea?" Princess Platinum asked. "What if we store some love and friendship that we have. We can create something that can help ponies in the future. The thing that happened with those Windigos wasn't good. There is no doubt that there is more evil out there in Equestria. I'm more certain that we won't be alive when most of those mishaps arrive." "How do we do it?" Commander Hurricane asked. Clover's eyes opened wide. "Y-you don't think it's weird?!" "Of course not, silly! It sounds fun!" Puddinghead said. "I think it's lovely." Private Pansy squeaked. A smile appeared on Clover's face. "Everypony in position." She ordered. Like Clover instructed, everypony stood in a circle. Clover started up her magic. It faced the six of them. Small sparks flew all over the place. The six if them got flung back. Rainbow sparkles filled the room. Before them were six stones, "How about each tribe takes two?" Clover suggested. "But we don't even know if they work!" Private Pansy reminded. "Come on, let's just take 'em!" Commander Hurricane said she he picked up the stone in front of him, "When the time comes, I'm sure it'll all be fine." Private Pansy sighed as she picked the one before her. The rest did the same. ~NO SCREEN~ "But then... How did they use the elements?" Nightingale asked. "One day, when the unicorns were having trouble lowering the moon to make way for the dawn, two mysterious alicorn fillies appeared. One of them was had a dark blueish-purple coat color, and a short light blue mane and aqua eyes. The other was her older sister, a white filly with a long flowing pink make and purple-pink eyes. The younger filly lowered the moon with ease. When the moon was near it'd end, the older filly brought the sun up, Resulting for them both to earn their cutiemarks at the same time." "Celestia and Luna..." Nightingale said. "But what does that have to do with the elements?" "The Windigos tried to strike back. But Celestia and Luna had shown courage in the face of doubt. Luna became connected to Loyalty, Laughter, and Generosity, and Celestia became connected to Magic, Honesty, and Kindness. They came face to face with somepony named Discored, then Luna became Nightmare Moon, and Celestia held all six elements until six ponies came along and took the title.” “That was you and your friends…” “Yep!” “Princess?” “Yes?” “Back at your castle, why did you call me ‘princess’?” “That’s something for you to find out.” Twilight replied with a smile, “But for now, you must go.” “Go?! Go where?!” Nightingale took a step back as Princess Twilight turned into the lavender orb one again. It spread back into that portal-shaped figure she went through. Nightingale understood clearly and she slowly walked though the portal. Suddenly, Nightingale’s eyes opened. She looked behind her to see her friends starting at her. Was I asleep? So it was like a dream. But how did they travel into the mind? That seems like the power Princess Luna would have. Ooh well, I need to deal with it. “Nightingale!” The rest said as they ran up to her. “Hey, girls! Nice to see you guys again. Did you see the others?” “If by others, you mean the past elements barriers, then... Yea!” Sky said, followed my nods from everypony else. “B-but… Where are we..?” Bunnyflower asked. Nightingale looked around. They were in a place surrounded by trees. “You’d think it’s weird that the past element barriers would talk to us, then send us to a place where we can’t get out.” Sky remarked, “The only light we had was from Ivy’s horn, it’s working again.” “Sky and I can fly again as well.” Bunny said. “Well then, we need to think. Maybe we can find a way.” Nightingale suggested. “Oh, there’s all ready a way!” Bubble Lime said. “There is?!” They all asked. “Ya!” Bubble Lime said as she went to a bush and pulled out the book they lost earlier. “What? The book?!” Nightingale asked confused. “How did you find it?” “Pinkie Pie said she’d leave it for us! You know, for 'breaking the fourth wall jokes' and plot convenience!” Bubble Lime said with an innocent smile on her face. “HOLD IT HOLD IT HOLD IT!!!” (Scarlet Storm) “W-what was that..?” Bunny flower asked as she hung onto Sky. “Scarlet Storm! You know, the writer!” “Come again, dear?” Ivory asked. "Ya know, Sky was her OC then she changed the name to White Fang and changed the design, but Sky is still a part of her mane cast!" Everypony looked at Bubble Lime for what seemed hours until another voice came out, “Aww, how else would you expect for them to get out?!” (Pinkie Pie) “What in tarnation?!” Cinnamon said. “What kinda boulderdash is this?” “Silly, Cinnamon! BoulderDash doesn’t make sense as a ship, but Moulder sure does!” “Uh… Bubble..? Why are you shipping stuff at a time like this?” Cocoa asked while backing away. “Don’t blame me, blame Cinnamon! She’s the one who did it, #Moulder! Also Tom and Boulder don’t make a bad ship as well…” “Alright, forget this weird stuff! Let’s just figure this out!” Sky snapped impatiently. “I’m with you all the way, darling.” Ivory said as she levitated the book and handed it to Nightingale. > Chapter Eleven: This Is A Filler For Something That Will Happen > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Ooh, finally!" Ivory said, brushing away the twigs from her mane. "That underground passageway was so... Err... Icky..!" "Well, it is an underground passageway!" Cinnamon said, passing Ivory. "Beauty Miss Fashion." Sky said rolling her eyes from behind Cinnamon. Ivory's cheeks burned bright pink. Her eye twitched until she felt a hoof be placed on her shoulder. She looked beside her to see Bunnyflower. "I think we all need to stay with one another right now." She said with a warm smile towards the three quarrelsome mares. They each groaned as they kept their distance from each other. "What's with all their fighting?" Cocoa asked Bunnyflower. "Oh, Sky and Cinnamon always fight on whose faster, stronger, basically whose more athletic. We all know that Sky can fly and run at the speed of light. And that Cinnamon is stronger, but Sky isn't that far behind. But Cinnamon has more accuracy with launching stuff, but Sky has more agility. It's pretty complicated. And with Ivory, I think that their luck isn't getting any better." "But then how do they cope with one another?" Nightingale asked in confusion. "They may have major differences, but that doesn't mean that they can't have fun together. Mostly they find all the jokes and mocking comments funny. But things sure do get ugly when they're in a bad mood." Bubble Lime loudly whispered. The three mares and Cocoa Pop looked behind them to see three ponies giving looks of hatred to each other. "Good thing we all work it out in the end!" She said as she bounced to the end of the tunnel. "Alright girls. We have to climb up, then we just need to cross a bridge and we'll be right in the castle." Nightingale said. Those words instantly brightened up the faces of everypony (and dragon), "Now let's go!" > Chapter Twelve: Another Dumb Filler D: > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The six mares (and dragon) cautiously entered the castle. The pillars were all broken. Vines and plants were everywhere. A foggy mist appeared, making it hard to see. In front of them was a big pillar/stone with five places that looked like something could've been there. All seven of them just stared at it in shock, and each of them were getting creepy vibes. The silence carried on until Nightingale spoke up. "I know that this is all strange, but we need to keep our heads together. We'll never make it through this if we don't." She said as she scanned the book to see what the stone figure was. The five mares (and dragon) all stared at Nightingale in anticipation. "Aha!" Nightingale said with pride. "I found out what this stone thing is! It's where the Elements Of Harmony used to be. Even after Nightmare Moon was banished, they remained! And that is where the last element barriers found them!" "Weird thing is that Spike didn't even represent an element..." Cocoa said with a hint of doubt in her voice. All eyes shifted on her in confusion. "Why, whatever do you mean, Cocoa dear?" Ivory asked with concern. "It's just that... Spike was a dragon and hung out the element barriers... What if I'm just meant to be on the sidelines as well..?" The six mares stared at her like the most stupidest thing has just been said to her. "Darling! Whatever made you think that?!" Ivory exclaimed in shock. "We need you!" Sky confirmed with a grin on her face. "Without you, we can't be us! We're a group!" "Sky here is right." Cinnamon said. "We need you, Sugar! Y'all are the heart of this group!" "W-what do you mean?" Cocoa replied in shock. "We're saying that we need you. We won't be the same without you. We care about you and respect you. We enjoy being with you. And just because Spike never represented an element, doesn't mean he wasn't important. And not to mention, you are you! Think about who you are. Don't compare yourself to somepony else. I'm sure that Princess Twilight and the other showed as much concern for him as we do for you." Bunnyflower assured with a warm smile on her face. The end of Cocoa's mouth curved into a smile. But a high-pitched voice appeared from no where. Don't worry! You will be an- Pinkie Pie! Shut up you idiot! But I wanna tell them! No! Please! Please! Please! Pinkie..! Aww... Fine! But you're still stupid! You changed your OC from Sky Breeze to White Fang to Scarlet Storm! Humph! "What in the?!" Cinnamon yelped in fright. "W-what was that?!" "Scarlet Storm and Pinkie Pie! Heh, can you believe she changed her OC like two of three times already?! I mean, who does that?" Bubble Lime said as she hopped forward. "Oh, and don't you worry Cocoa Pop! You do have an important role in this story!" "It's just Bubs!" Sky said as she flew behind her. They kept walking forward to see if there is anything else about this castle that they should know about, but Nightingale had other thoughts on her mind. She stared down at Cocoa Pop and quietly whispered in her ear. "I just wanted to say that I owe you a lot, number one assistant." Those words brightened up Cocoa Pop's day. "Thanks..." She said as she kept walking. I guess I do have a purpose... She thought. ~~~ After some time of walking, Sky got bored. "How much longer is this going to take?!" She groaned. "As long as it gonna take!" Cinnamon coldly replied. "Hold on a second..." Ivory said, checking her surroundings. "Haven't we been though this hall already?" The six mares (and one dragon) carefully looked at the hallway. "I looks awfully familiar!" "Y-you're right!" Bunnyflower squeaked. All of a sudden, the ground below them collapsed. Sky tried to open her wings and fly everypony to safety, but she couldn't fly! Same went with Nightingale and Ivory as they tried to use their magic, leaving all of them to fall into the seemingly bottomless pit of darkness. > Chapter Thirteen: Don't Gotta Read This, Only Another Filler! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Everypony slowly rose up. They looked around at the dark cavern they fell upon. They all stood there in silence, unsure of what to do. It wasn't until Nightingale manged to say a few words. "I-is e-everyp-p-pony a-a-a-alr-r-ight..?" "Uh... I guess so..." Sky slowly said. "It's just a bit... Erm... Dusty, and dark, and damp! B-but I'm sure that I'm very much indeed fine." Ivory confirmed. "Well... 'Ah think 'Ahm alright." Cinnamon said, trotting over to Nightingale's side. The deafening sound of her hoofs stomping on the hard and cold floor echoed across the cavern. "W-what's that?!" Bunnyflower squeaked, on the verge of shedding tears in fright. "Calm down, Sugar! It was just me! 'Ah was walkin' towards Nightingale." Cinnamon said, feeling guilty for startling her friend so bad. "O-ooh... Uhm... Okay... I-I guess that I'm okay too..." She replied unconvincingly. Sky slowly and quietly walked towards her and patted her of the shoulder. Bunnyflower forced a smile on her face, even though nopony could see it because of the darkness of the cavern. "I'm sure that I'm alright." Cocoa Pop said. But a different question came to her mind. "Where's Bubble Lime?" Everypony looked around, trying to see if they could find a stray figure anywhere. "HERE I AM!" Bubble Lime yelled randomly, causing everypony to jump. "Heh, sorry!" > Chapter Fourteen: Compassionate Bunnyflower > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Everypony slowly walked down the cavern. Once again, the magic and flight power of the unicorns and pegesi returned, so they had light again. But the unicorn magic was very limited, and they could only levitate items and light up their horns. After an amount of silence, Nightingale just shook her head. "I know this is hard, and I know that everything is just going out of wack, but I think that we should keep our heads together and get this done." "Well... 'Ah agree with Nightingale. We gotta figure this all out." Cinnamon said. "This is all goin' outtah control, and ya'll here are the only ones who know what the hay is goin' on!" "Well, if only all these interuptions will stop acting like... Well... Interuptions! I will be far more able to get this done." Ivory complained as she kept walking forward. "Well... Maybe these interuptions are coming because we're not meant to know anything..?" Sky asked uncertainly. "Well... That sounds really weird. I mean, why would Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Spike, and the princess come to us to say we have to keep going. That's just silly!" Bubble Lime chuckled. Nightingale's ears perked up. "Because we're the ones..." She muttered. "What was that, dear?" Ivory asked. "Oh... It was something... But I'm not comepletly sure. Don't worry about it!" She quickly said. "Uh-huh..." Sky quietly said. "Look, I just... dozed off." Nightingale stammered. "I'm going just as crazy as the rest of you." "Yea..." Sky replied. Nightingale rolled her eyes, but Cocoa Pop's went small. "W-what is that?!" She yelled. Before then stood a pack of sleeping Timberwolves. Everypony stood skill, mouths gaping is awe. "W-what are th-they d-do-doing here..." Ivory stammered, backing away slightly. But when she moved, the Timberwolves woke up and howled. Suddenly, one of them charged at her. "O-ooh... Oh dear..." "Ivory you idiot! Move!" Sky shouted as she swopped down to bring her up. Bunnyflower's ears perked up. "Sky..! Quiet down..!" She said in a whispered hush. But she was too quiet, and nopony heard her. "Don't y'all do that to mah friends!" Cinnamon said, whooping out her lasso from no where. She lassoed the biggest Timberwolf to her, and hopped on it. "Yeeehaaa!" It wasn't until the Timberwolf flanged her up into the ceiling of the cave. "Ugh..." Then she fell down, luckily, she was saved by Nightingale who fought her with her magic. "Good job, Nightin'!" Nightingale gave her a humble bow as she fired her magic at the Timberwolf. She whimpered when she realized that it was nothing but a weak beam that came out of her horn, as she forgot on how her magic was weak down here in the cave. Bunnyflower however didn't like it one bit. "Nightingale! Stop hitting the poor Timberwolves! They're only angry because-" But she never got to finish, because now it was Bubble Lime's turn. She emerged out of no where in a white robe and black belt around her flank. "You wanna fight? Well we can fight!" Sky rolled her eyes in frustration. "Bubs! What the hay are you doing?!" She said, staring in confusion at her best friends' weak punches and kicks that she gave the Timberwolves. "How did she even get a belt? Isn't there more to Karate then just punching and kicking?" She thought aloud to herself. It wasn't until the Timberwolf swiped its claw at Bubble Lime, throwing her into the cave wall. Sky's eyes narrowed. "You're. Going. Down." She said as she flew towards the Timberwolves. "Sky!!!!! No! Listen to me! Their just-" But she was too late. Sky fling herself at the Timberwolves, smashing three of them into pieces. Cinnamon grinned as she picked up stones and began to buck them into the direction of the Timberwolves. Ivory quickly made her way towards the whispering Bunnyflower and began to stroke her mane. Bubble Lime smiled as she took a bunch of balloons and watched the fight from above, while Nightingale just stared in awe. Before you knew it, the whole pack of Timberwolves were gone. "H-how..?!" Nightingale managed to say. "Just gave 'em what they needed." Sky said. "Heh, e-eyep." Then, all the sticks came together to create one big Timberwolf. Nightingale gasped. "Forgot that part..." She said with a bluish on her muzzle. The giant Timberwolf growled as Cocoa Pop burned its wood, and as all the ponies (except Ivory and Bunnyflower) charged at it. But enough was enough. "STOP IT!!!" Bunnyflower yelled at the top of her lungs. She was standing in-between the Timberwolf and her friends. "Stop! Just stop. Okay?" Ivory, who was still huddled in the corner of the cave, shook her head. "They're trying to KILL us!" "No they're not." Bunnyflower said as she approached the Timberwolf and gave it a loving smile. "You're all tiered, aren't you? Ivory didn't mean to wake you all up, and we weren't trying to harm the babies." Small Timberwolves (the babies) came out from behind a rock. "We meant to harm." The giant wolf then glowed dark green. Then, lots of Timberwolves filled that part of the cave. They made a path for the ponies to carry on. Bunnyflower bowed her head and signaled for her friends to come over after thanking the wolves. "Well... There's something you don't see everyday..." Cocoa Pop said. "Darn tootin'." Cinnamon seconded. "How did you know what to do?" Nightingale asked. "What even happened?!" Sky said in confusion. Bunnyflower smiled." When Ivory talked and walked back, she woke up the sleeping wolves. We all make mistakes, but we have to try and not make them. The Timberwolves were just upset that they we woken up. And also, Timberwolves are very protective of their young, if there's an intruder, they'll always want to get them out." She softly said. Ivory blushed, and she giggled. "You shouldn't be ashamed of yourself, Ivory. We just need to stop and think of how others feel. We need to know be considerate of them, they have feelings as well."
