Celestia meets Philomena: A bird in the hoof - Love and safety during Wartime
Princess Celestia and Luna were very pleased. The ponies of Canterlot had seen their first eclipse- this was the second time they had made the sun and moon rise and the eclipse was beautiful. Sure they had argued on whether to keep which object in the sky, but they agreed to do it every few years - one time a lunar eclipse, and the second time a solar eclipse. There cutie marks had appeared a month ago and Tia's mane was starting to flow slightly. Born Alicorns have flowing manes/tails once they get their cutie marks. The manes, tails or bodies may or may not change color depending on the alicorn - which is why Celestia's mane changed more than her body color since she is a warm colored alicorn- Luna's colors changed almost completely because she is a cool colored alicorn. Cool-coloured magic may seem like dark magic, but it is still the normal good powerful alicorn magic - which is what young dark species alicorns like Luna had to learn.
After the twin princesses had finished the eclipse, they realized that with their parents - Solar "Sun" Light and Lunar "Moon" Dark - gone due to the war with the Draconicai, they needed someone other than quirky orphan Discord to keep them company - especially now that they were soon to be crowned princesses of all of Equestria. They read many, many books on creatures that can become pets for ponies and humans. After reading a page about immortal creatures that can be tamed, the Twin Sisters canceled all of their plans for the next few months while putting Discord and their guards in charge. Discord was upset because the princesses left him there, and because he was ruled under the princesses, he still had to do what they said. Discord was a little bit pleased when the princesses explained that he was going to have a new friend to play with so he didn't hurt any of his subjects...even if some of them were irritating.
Because of Discord's attitude, all the ponies under his rule had a fun and relaxing time without working for a few days each week. Celestia and Luna traveled far and wide, searching for a place where magical tameable creatures such as phoenixes live. They came across a nest of them with the parents sitting on top their eggs. They all hatched and one came out sickly - Philomena.
Pop, pop, pop, pop, pop! Five eggs hatch. Fssssssh....boom! The last egg hatched due to the eldest daughter roasting it due to her slashing it with her flaming toes. She just wanted to see what her little sister looked like, but due to her making Philomena come out early and her mum accidentally eating poison ivy last week, she came out looking horrible. "sqaaaaaaauuuukkkk...", Philomena choked out. The other phoenixes gasped in surprised and tried their best cope with seeing the poor chick. The princesses were hidden, watching everything. They were surprised how little Philly came out and wondered if she would survive.

Hello everybirdy and pony! This is Philomena, ready to tell my story using the Princesses's as well as myself's point of views!

Celestia's POV
The phoenixes were very happy with their lives, all except Philomena. I know because could perceive what Philomena and her family said and squawked. Philomena got kicked around by her siblings. The eldest, Peck, kept hitting her and throwing her over the edge of the next. Solar Flare and Luna Eclipse - their parents - always caught her pink, wingless body in their grasps, however. Her parents fed her but not as much as her siblings. They loved her but at the same time thought that she would be worthless and die so they did not give her as much love and attention as they did her siblings.
One day, however, things got even worse. Even though Philomena was mistreated by her family - her mother was the nicest to her- Philomena had the warmest love for them during this cold time. It was at this time that leads to an early burning day which my sister and I saw due to us visiting her every Sunday at noon.

Philomena's point of view
I finally did it! My burning day had arrived early and my flame is lighting up- I'm being healed and now look just like my siblings - what a blessing!
(An hour later, after my flame dies down and restarts...)
Wooo! I am a renewed chick! I'm bigger, more beautiful and, (according to my mother), more lovable! My family appreciates me now and I can heal anyone faster than any Phoenix has done in a thousand years! Everything was perfect...perfect until noon when the pretty ponies- 'the future rulers of Equestria who thought they had been hidden all these years while watching me- came for a visit. Yes, I can feel auras strongly that's how I knew that they were there!
Raaaaaaaaaarck! We hear a piercing shriek from the sky. Oh no...the griffons! Even though we haven't made contact for a thousand years, the power and gold war between them and the dragons is still going on, and they think we are valuable to be used in the war. The griffons were now being reckless- accidentally lighting fires in our tall trees due to their dynamite falling from their battle belts since they were flying so fast to get us- their at this time- healers, helpers and food, yes, food! We taste better than any other bird in the history of Earth, Equestria, and their counterparts. Why did this day of death, destruction, and slavery have to happen on THIS day....MY day?!
Kaboooooom! Screeeeeeech! Slash!
The griffons rounded up my flock up one by one. We put up a good fight but the others got injured. Being the one who can heal the most easily cannot always heal everyone at the exactly the same time; we were getting weaker by the minute and were losing out healing power.
My family and I fly away with fire all around us - the very thing that keeps us alive - destroying everything we know and love. Our food was taken away so we were left to starve. Even two young alicorns are no match for a million adult griffons. Suddenly, one of the Griffin's attacks boulders whacks my family from the sky. Any sort of weapon such as arrows and sword were now being used to hunt us down and kill some of us since we weren't compiling. Of course we weren't! Our best friends were now our worst enemies- trying to destroy us, our homes, and even the princesses! So rude! It was horrid- they were only in this war in the first place for greed! I getting pummeled by the rock, but it did clip it so my wing is now bruised. I fly down to my now dying family who say their last considerate words while giving me their power. "I love you...and I'm sorry for the way I treated you...goodbye...:')"
My sister Peck finally said the sentence that I have been waiting a millennium to hear come out of her beak. "Thank you, and no hard feelings", I responded and pecked her lightly on the beak before she smiled and left me. Even while they were going, I tried to bring them back - being immortal doesn't equal invincibility. They gave me their life so I could continue mine even longer and in a more peaceful way - I still remember that day. Oh yes, there's something I'm forgetting! The LAST part of the war!
Suddenly, the head griffon shot up like a bullet in the sky to attack me. Apparently, since my family's powers were more powerful and special than any other pheonix family, they were supposed to have been kept alive for the griffons. However, since they accidentaly scared a soldier griffon by screeching at the other griffons loudly, he had made to let a rock from a rock cannon hit my family. The head griffon then blamed ME for not being strong enough to able to bring them back to life. He also thought that they should NOT have spared me, and that the rest of my life would now be in vain since I was the only princess now! He barked this phrase of information to me, causing a whirlwind of air to be shot right onto my face, all while he was grabbing my neck. I sighed, wondering why this dude was blaming me instead of pitying me.
SLASH!
The griffon swiped his sharp talons onto my feathery back and the excruciating pain delayed for a few seconds. Geez, so impatient! Do you want to eat me or use me for a living fire...make up your mind! I knew that sooner or later, they were going to eat us all anyway- so why the big fuss - he has ME. Actually...he DOESN'T I am CELESTIA'S and I am going to show him that he CAN'T harm the PRINCESS!!!
Oh...did I mention that I was a princess just like Celestia? No? Sorry, I'm writing this in Celestia's diary and I'm remembering a lot more things about my past!
"Squaaaaaaaaak!!!"
I sounded my battle cry and was ready to attack! I was going to make him PAY! Pay for the fact that he sent his posse to destroy my home, my family, my friends AND my entire flock! We have to run and fly away from our home and our very "trustworthy" friends - just because they can't figure out a simple argument with DRAGONS!! I am going to let him KNOW that I do NOT appreciate him tearing us away from our love! I am going to peck out his eyes and burn off his wings to make him suffer for what HE has done! Actually...then there would be a war against ME! I'll just burn him with m fire breath as a warning. We clashed as soon as I escaped from his grip and we had a screeching battle while banging talons. I finally her my fire breath blow - the flames igniting even more due to the oxygen in the air. He almost died, but I stopped him from doing so, allowing him to stay there and burn until his comrades came to help - that should teach him not to mess with ME. The other princesses came to help me after I turned my back to the chief and he tried to swallow me in one bit. Even after the fire and powerful magic beams, we still did not kill him. If he was left there, he would die 'in battle' regardless. We then proceeded to escape ourselves; knocking every-griffon to the ground as we did so...they then learned not to mess with US - the princess trio!
After I beat the chief, instead of the griffons taking over Equestria, they decided to leave us alone since they realized me and the princess's power. In the middle of this griffon-phoenix war, the dragons had flown around trying to eat baby phoenixes and smash our eggs - wow, some help THEY are! However, they were chased off by us too! We'll make amends with the yaks, griffons AND dragons someday...I just KNOW it! All of the griffons then set off with most of my flock...my kingdom fell apart. Being a princess is hard... Celestia and Luna, (those are their names right?) Came to find me after kicking some griffon tail and making them retreat to stop them from trying to hurt me. The princesses picked me up, glad that they found a pet. There are still a few recorded Phoenix left, and a few civilizations living away from Griffonstone. I am ecstatic and eternally grateful for them and my family- my nephew Peewee and my new baby daughter Flame burst should know this about my past- I'll go tell them right now! ;)

Celestia cried loudly for Philomena, realizing that she had the same past as herself- they were both orphans that shaped each other into who they are today. On Philomena's burning day, she is still the most sickly phoenix - though most everyone now knows that she comes out the most healthy, beautiful and nurse-like - if not a little cheeky and mischievous sometimes! ;) Luna was happy with just Philomena being the pet and the sisters did not have much trouble from Discord after that. Celestial and Philomena were now happy together forever. :) She then gave her the name Philomena, "meaning powerful love". Luna suggested for her to be named Phoebe, but the former sounded prettier.
Philomena then went through another burning day, reminiscing about her past. Philomena found her soul mate and they had a little phoenix named Flame Burst who will be given to Sunset Shimmer, helped baby Spike get rid of most of his dragon greed..(though even though they did so much, Twilight Sparkle temporarily forgot about Philomena.) Fire Cracker - Philomena's mate - travels around Equestria, meeting new relatives and more phoenix flocks. It turns out that Philomena is the youngest of TWELVE young chicks since half of the kids were cared for by a kind phoenix couple because of the hard work. One of the sisters survived and got married - ergo...Pewee's mother! However, recently, Philomena's husband was presumed to have passed on when he went to make friends with an Ursa Major. Philomena now likes Owlowicious, though she has to be careful to not be burned by her, Philomena took off into the sky, flying off into the sunset, the burst into ashes.
"Squaaaaaak!" Philomena them burst into flames and rose from the ashes; even though she had lost most of her family, her home and even friends (other than the Princesses, Spike and the Mane 6), she finally felt happy and free from her sad past!

Cool story right? You thought my past was all sunshine and rainbows, huh? Well think again! My past is like Celestia's and there is nothing you can do about it! I don't cry about being an immortal bird with lots of troubles though; as the Princess would say, "It just depends on how you see your life! Someone might think it is a blessing, one and some may think it is cursed! Make sure you take it in your stride and work towards making it an awesome blessing!"
