> The Mane 6 Go to a Wonderbolt's Show | TwiDash Adventure > by Squiggly Cup > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Ch 1 - Starting Off On The Wrong Hoof > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Jugglers? Really?" Rainbow deadpanned as she watched four jugglers tossing around bowling pins in the center of a gigantic arena. Thousands of ponies crowded the stands, all mildly interested in what was going on below. "I mean, it's a wonderbolts show!" Rainbow shouted, a little annoyed at this disgrace of an opening act. "I think it's kind of nice..." Fluttershy mumbled. Rainbow sat down in her seat alongside most her friends. Rainbow sat all the way to the left of her friends, except Twilight who would be sitting on her right if she was here right now. Her and Rarity were somewhere up by the concession stands getting the snacks. "It's lame, I mean theres definitely a large excitement gap there" Rainbow said, motioning to the juggling ponies. "Well ya' wouldn't want them to outdo tha' ones they're settin' up for" Applejack countered, Rainbow only slid further into her seat, her arms crossed. "Yeah, like anyponys just gonna outshine the Wonderbolts" she grumpily replied. Meanwhile, Twilight and Rarity were standing over by the concession stands. They had stepped off to the side in one of the smaller hallways near the a pillar. Twilight stood there eyes closed as she held open a tiny black box. Rarity leaned forward and the gasped, covering her mouth with her hooves. "Twilight, it's simply beautiful!" Rarity complimented, Twilight just looked back at her uneasily. "Thanks, but I don't think the ring is what matters to Rainbow. Do you really think she'll say yes?" Twilight asked, nervously glancing at the diamond ring in her hoof. "Of course darling, i've never seen two ponies more mean't for each other than you two" Rarity gushed, causing Twilight to smile at her warmly. "Thank you Rarity" she said, wrapping her unicorn friend in a brief hug. "I'm still pretty nervous though" Twilight muttered as she let go. "That's alright, it's perfectly normal. You're asking another pony to spend their life with you, it's certainly a big deal" Rarity explained, Twilight just looked more unsure though. "Yeah... it's a big deal.." Twilight mumbled, Rarity went to reach a hoof out and comfort her friend but she jumped back as there was a sudden loud noise on the speakers. "ALRIGHT EVERYPONY THE WONDERBOLTS SHOW IS STARTING!!!" the speaker screamed, causing Rarity to raise both hooves to her ears. Unknowingly those few words had caused an instant excitement riot. Everypony up in the concessions immediately began charging forward to get to their seats. Ponies started yelling, shoving their way past other ponies. Some ponies got crammed in door ways because of their sudden reluctance to take turns. Twilight could have sworn she had even seen some stallion using another pony as a battering ram through the now swarming crowd. Twilight and Rarity immediately were surrounded by ponies who were shoving past, knocking both ponies back and forth bumping into each other. During the chaos Twilight got bumped against a pillar causing her to drop her ring. "No!" Twilight shouted as the ring flew from her hooves into the crowd of ponies, Twilight could even make out the noises it made as it bounced across the ground. Twilight fell to her knees and she hopelessly watched the ring disappear into the ravenous crowd. Rarity just watched desperately as Twilight's head sunk down in shame. _____________________________________________________________________________ After about eight minutes everypony and filled in the remaining seats in the stadium, except Twilight and Rarity. "Has anypony seen Rarity and Twilight?" Applejack asked, earning curious looks from her friends. "No, are they still getting the snacks? Rainbow asked. "Ah guess... imma go check on them" Applejack announced as she got up out of her seat and head up the stairs to the side. "See this is why you always put commander Pinkie Pie in charge of snacks!" Pinkie declared as she saluted, a green army helmet adorning her head. "Where did you get the helmet?" Rainbow asked. "Well actually-" Pinkie began, but only to get shushed by Rainbow. "Never mind, shows starting" she said waving an absent a hoof at Pinkie. The announcer had stepped out into the area to name every Wonderbolt who stepped out into the center. "First is Spitfire!" "Alright then deputy Fluttershy, it's gonna be our job to get the snacks!" Pinkie declared as she looked to a taken aback Fluttershy. "Um... us? won't the others be back soon wi-" Fluttershy was cut off by Pinkie grabbing a hold of her hoof, Flutteshy squeaked in surprise. "They can no longer be trusted to complete their mission, so it's up to us to get the snacks... No Matter What It Takes..." Pinkie said the last part somewhat maniacally, much to the uneasiness of Fluttershy who was now getting dragged by the hoof up to the concession stands. ______________________________________________ Applejack had finally stumbled upon the two mares on her search, she casually trotted up to them. "Well there y'all are, what were ya-" she stopped dead in her tracks as she noticed Twilight sitting on the floor with Rarity crouched over hugging her, their backs to her. "What happened?" Applejack asked as she walked around the two to face them, seeing Twilight's head downcast. "Twilight do you mind if I-?" Rarity softly asked "You can tell her" "Alright, well our dear Twilight here was planning to propose to Rainbow Dash today" Rarity explained, Applejack looked shocked at first and turned happily towards Twilight. "That's great sugarcube!" "Yes... but there is a problem" Rarity continued, Applejack raised an eyebrow. "During a Wonderbolts crazed stampede Twilight lost the ring in the the sea of ponies and now we don't know where it is" Rarity explained much to the dismay of Applejack. "Wait a minute.. Rarity!" Twilight shouted excitedly, her head shooting up to face them. "It was a diamond ring! You can track it with your magic!" Twilight exclaimed, causing Rarity to look surprised in realization. "You're right darling, I completely forgot! How about I take Applejack here to go look for the ring, and you go and be with Rainbow. I'd be strange to propose if you haven't spent most of the day together" Rarity pointed out causing Twilight to nod at her confidently. "Alright" she said, getting back up and trotting away. She stopped though and looked over her shoulder "please find it.." Twilight said desperately, making the other ponies frown. "Don't worry Twilight, we won't let y'all down" Applejack said, causing Twilight to smile a little. "Thank you girls" "It's no problem at all" Rarity said as Twilight turned to leave, and they turned to begin their hunt. ____________________________________________________________ Meanwhile, another hunt was taking place in the stadium. "Alright Fluttershy scan the area for any open concession stands" "None of them are open anymore, the show started. Wonderbolts shows close their stands when the show starts to draw everypony to the performance" Fluttershy explained, it sounded like she had memorized it. "Uh.. why do you know that?" Pinkie asked. "Rainbow talked about them a lot during our sleepovers..." Fluttershy explained sheepishly. "Well that doesn't matter anyways!" Pinkie declared, Fluttershy just looked stunned. "I- i - it doesn't?" she asked nervously. "Of course not, you're on a mission with sergeant Pinkie Pie-" "I thought you were a commander" Fluttershy added, but Pinkie didn't hear it. "which means were gonna complete our mission one way or another, even if it means sneaking into their kitchens" Pinkie stated, causing Fluttershy to step back. She kept stepping back mumbling "oh um.. uh.. I.. we can't.. it um... it's legal.. and Twilight wouldn't want us to... um and they could catch us and-" Pinkie marched up to her to put her hoof on Fluttershy's mouth. "No excuses deputy Fluttershy, do you want to fail our friends and ruin everything?" Pinkie asked, unusually serious. Fluttershy just sadly looked at her, "oh my, I didn't know this was so serious..... I.... i'll help" Fluttershy relented, causing Pinkie to cheer and grab hold of Fluttershy to drag her along again. "Good cause i'm gonna need your help to reach the air vents!" Pinkie cheerily said, causing Fluttershy to gulp nervously. ________________________________________________________________________ "Hey Rainbow" Twilight called out as she arrived back to their seats with Rainbow. As Twilight sat down beside her Rainbow leaned over and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. "Hey Twilight, uh.. didn't you girls get snacks?" she asked, noticing her marefriend's empty hooves. Twilight looked at her own hooves too coming to the same realization. "Oh uh... they were... sold out?" it came out sounding like a question. "Oh alright" Rainbow said, more interested in the Wonderbolts show. Soarin was in the middle of some pretty awesome corkscrews. "Wheres Fluttershy and Pinkie?" Twilight asked, looking past Rainbow at the empty seats. "I don't know, some kinda secret mission" Rainbow said without interest, not even looking at Twilight. "Oh.. alright. So the show been as awesome as you hoped so far?" Twilight asked. Rainbow nodded excitedly, "yeah it's been really cool already, and it's just been solo stuff so far. Soarin did a crazy a crazy nose dive and then spread his limbs out to slow himself down before gliding back into the air" "And why was Soarin able to do that?" Twilight asked with her little tutor voice. Rainbow sighed dramatically and spoke like a five year annoyed by their mom, "because of terminal velocity" she said, causing Twilight so smile and clap her hooves together. "It's good to know my lessons weren't going over your head" Twilight giggled, Rainbow just ignored her and focused on the show. "Thanks again for buying the Wonderbolts passes, probably the best birthday gift ever" Rainbow said happily, turning towards Twilight. "No problem Rainbow, anything for you" she replied, leaning forward to kiss Rainbow. The pegasus happily accepted, leaning forward for a quick peck. Twilight instead cupped both of Rainbow's cheeks and held the kiss for a little bit until Rainbow reluctantly pulled away. "Whoa Twilight, there'll be time for that later tonight" she chuckled, causing Twilight to blush. "Let's just watch the show" "Of course, Rainbow" __________________________________________________________________________ "We're close, I can sense it over here" Rarity stated as her and Applejack trotted along the balcony area. Rarity's horn was lit up as her magic searched for the nearby diamond. Applejack just watched curiously as she worked her magic, literally. Rarity then quickly took a sharp left into a corridor causing Applejack to back peddle and catch up to her. "It... shoouulld bee heerre" Rarity dragged on her words as they slowly got to the diamond. As the two looked forward they saw a brown coated stallion with a darker brown mane pushing around a mobile trash cart with mops attached to it. Rarity squinted and looked closely to notice a tiny shining diamond in the pile of trash. "It's right in there!" Rarity called out excitedly as she pointed towards the moving cart. Applejack smiled and the two started walking down the hallway, they're smiles turned to grimaces when the pony turned the other way and started pushing the cart down the hall. "Wait Sir!" Applejack called, but she noted that he was wearing headphones. The stallion swiftly unlocked the door at the end of the hall and pushed the cart in as Applejack and Rarity quickened into a sprint. "Sir hold on!" Rarity yelled, but he didn't even notice them as he went in, just as he flung the metallic door shut Rarity and Applejack had reached, but only to be hit in the face with a door. Both ponies stumbled back, Rarity even falling over. Applejack rushed forward to bang on the door, but as loud as it was the stallion obviously couldn't hear them. "Gosh darnit! How the hay are we gonna get in there!?" Applejack yelled, as she faced Rarity who was still recovering from her tumble. Applejack leaned down and offered her a hoof to pull her back on her feet. "Thank you darling, and as for your question, I think I might have an idea. We'll need to find another employee to open this door, one that has the keys" Rarity explained, Applejack stared at her skeptically. "and then what? Ask them to let us in the backstage area? they'll just think were some crazy fans. Like Rainbow" Applejack stated, Rarity smiled at her. "Well obviously you don't understand how easy it is to whoo a stallion" Rarity said while fluttering her eye lashes for effect. "What if we only find a mare?" Applejack asked. "Um.. hope she's gay?" Rarity responded sheepishly. Applejack just gave her a deadpan look. _______________________________________________________________________ Thankfully it didn't take long before the two managed to find a prime target for Rarity's feminine charm. A blue coated stallion pegasus with a yellow combed back mane. "I'll distract him, you grab the keys" said, and with that she winked seductively at Applejack, making her wanna gag, as she set off for her target. "Oh thank goodness i've found such a strong looking stallion!" Rarity called out as she approached him, the stallion spun around to face her. "Oh uh.. hey" he said. "Well I didn't expect to find such a handsome stallion around here" Rarity said as she faced the stallion, her eyes roaming across his body. "Uh thanks" he said, his nervousness being set aside. The stallion actually looked a little annoyed. "Oh my I love your eyes, ooohhh and your hooves look so strong" she complimented, taking his hoof in her own to get a look at it. The stallion pulled away as he gave her a glare, Rarity thought she saw that, but pushed the thought aside. "Darling, how can someone as good looking as yourself not have a beautiful mare by your side. I'd imagine you'd have mares fighting over you, I know i'd love to date you if you'd have me" she said, the stallion's glare not changing. "Oh and your ears are just adorable" she purred, raising a hoof to touch one, but the stallion pushed it away. "Listen, this isn't the first time a mare like you has tried to hustle me" he said, sounding very serious. Rarity just sheepishly smiled at him, "whatever do you uh.. mean darling?" "Yeah you can drop the act, you're obviously after something, and i'm willing to give it to you. So long as I get a date" he stated, causing Rarity to chuckle. "Oh well of course you want to go on a date, it's not exactly foreign to me. I'm happy to hear that another stallion has realized my true beauty" Rarity boasted, as she flipped her mane dramatically with a hoof, and staring seductively at the stallion. The stallion only stared back at her, still clearly annoyed. "Yeah.... uh no, not at all actually" he said which made Rarity go wide eyed and looked back at him with a purely puzzled expression. "I want a date with that hottie over there" he said, pointing over her shoulder. Rarity turned around and noticed Applejack staring at them, bewilderment across her face. "Is there a mare behind her?" Rarity asked. "Nope, i'm talking about her right there" he motioned towards Applejack again. "You wanna go on a date with me!?" Applejack asked, clearly surprised. "You want to go on a date with her!?" Rarity shouted, both equally surprised and oddly offended. "You'd choose HER over moi?" Rarity asked as she made a dramatic fashion pose. "Definitely, i'm not really into high class mares, I like the rough and tumble ones" he said, as his eyes wandered up and down Applejack's body, much to her uneasiness. "Well ahm sorry, but ah don't think ah can-" Rarity quickly trotted over to stick a hoof in her mouth. "You'll just have to excuse us" Rarity said with a fake chuckled as she dragged Applejack around a corner. "Applejack, you have to go out with him" "What!? Ah'd rather get hog tied to a bull" Applejack said as she peeked around the corner. The stallion looked at her, raising his eyebrow a few times as he stared at her. Applejack fake gagged and faced Rarity again. "Applejack you must! While I don't understand how he could resist ME!-" she said dramatically, "He for some other worldy reason wants to go on a date with you, and in exchange he can help us get to the ring. Remember that its for Twilight" Rarity explained. Applejack's angry tone slowly lowered into a slightly irritated one as she sighed. "Fine then, but only for Twilight's sake.." she grumbled, causing Rarity to smile at her and lead her back to the stallion who didn't waste time ogling at Applejack again. "She'll do it, you just have to open a backstage door for us with your keys" Rarity explained, the stallion seemed ecstatic. "Awesome! Let's go open this door" The three walked off and found the same metal door from earlier, the stallion went forward and stuck his key in and turned it. The door made a clicking noise as it unlocked and the stallion pulled it open for them. "Oh my goodness thank you" Rarity said. As the two went to walk through the stallion stopped them and stepped in-front of Applejack. He leaned in close, too close for Applejack's comfort. He whispered, "Later tonight, you, me, dinner at this nice burger joint close by the stadium, i'll pick you up outside" Applejack only grumpily nodded and went to walk forward but he stopped her again. "Make sure you're there, don't let me down... Applebottom" he purred seductively, and with that he leaned forward and smooshed his lips on her cheek giving her a sloppy kiss on the cheek. Applejack's eyes shot open wide like dinner plates as the stallion slowly pulled back, his lips leaving her cheek with a popping noise. He then winked at her before walking down the hallway and turning the corner. All the while Rarity simply watched with a hoof over her mouth, but that was only to keep herself from laughing out loud. After a few seconds after he had left, Applejack still stood there as stiff as a tree. Her eyes just staring off, Rarity even waved her hoof in-front of them to test. "Um.. Equestria to Applejack, are you alright?" Rarity asked in-between giggles. Applejack stood motionless for a solid fifteen more seconds. "Darling it wasn't that bad" Rarity said, causing Applejack to eerily turn her head to her like something out of a horror film. "Not that bad? He called be Applebottom!" she yelled, at-least she broke out of her shock. "Well at-least it was a compliment..... sort of..." Rarity said sheepishly, Applejack only glared at her. "That darn stallion somehow managed to keep his eyes ANYWHERE but my own eyes the whole time, and now I have ta' go on a date with em'. If he had slapped me on the flank I swear I would have bucked him into next week" Applejack huffed as she stomped off into the backstage area, with Rarity following behind, trying to hold in a new set of laughter at the whole situation. > Ch 2 - Private Rooms & Negotiations > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Is nopony really back yet?" Twilight asked as she peered at the row of empty seats beside them. Rainbow glanced over and just shrugged her shoulders. "I guess not, but they're adults they'll be fine" Rainbow waved her hoof dismissively. Twilight just gave her a deadpan look "Have you met our friends?" Rainbow laughed as she wrapped a hoof around Twilight, she gave her quick peck on the cheek. "It's fine Twi, and if they're causing chaos then so be it. Let's not let them ruin this" Rainbow said as she nuzzled up to Twilight, her marefriend gratefully smiling at her. "ruin this.... uh yeah let's just enjoy it" Twilight said nervously, her thoughts being drawn back to the ring search, honestly she was starting to forget. ___________________________________________________________________ The light switched on, instantly giving vision back to the ponies sneaking into the kitchen. Pinkie Pie had just dropped down into one of the concession stands kitchens from the air vent. Pinkie waited a few moments before nothing happened. She curiously peeked up at the air vent. "Heelloooo Flutterrshyy" Pinkie called out in a sing-song voice. "Okie Dokie Flutter-butter you're forcing my hoof" she said, and with that she bounced up and grabbed onto the ledge of the vent. She peeked in and saw Fluttershy sitting there nervously watching her, Pinkie only grinned and grabbed her hoof. "Pinkie wait I- eeeepp!" she yelped as Pinkie pulled her back and down with her, causing both ponies to hit the floor. Pinkie took the most of it and let Fluttershy fall on top of her. Fluttershy shot up to her hooves. "Oh i'm so sorry Pinkie are you okay?" she asked, very worried for her friend. Pinkie just laid on the ground on her side, facing away from Fluttershy. Fluttershy instinctually went into medic mode and she bolted over to Pinkie's side. She bent over and rolled Pinkie over onto her back. Fluttershy was quick to notice that Pinkie Pie now had an eye patch on along with bandages wrapped around her head. Pinkie Pie's eyes darted from left to right dilating until they finally focused onto Fluttershy. She lazily reach a shaky hoof up to Fluttershy's cheek. "Flutters... i'm not gonna make it... this is.... this is your mission now..." Pinkie groggily said, before her head rolled to the side as her eyes shut. Her tongue even hung out of her mouth, touching the dirty floor. "Pinkie.. are you alright? I don't think i'll be able to do this without you..." Fluttershy said desperately. As quick as lightning Pinkie bounced right up on her feet again, taking the bandages off of her head at the same time, though leaving the eye patch for coolness. "I know, and that's why i'm not gonna go down without a fight" Pinkie Pie put on her army helmet again and adjusted her eye patch. "I lost my eye for the cause, and I'm willing lose a lot more before i'm done!" Pinkie Pie declared with her best gruff military voice. As Pinkie happily bounced around Fluttershy gave her a pretty harsh deadpan glare, refraining from going The Stare level though. Pinkie stopped bouncing and sheepishly looked at her, she awkwardly chuckled before rubbing the back of her neck. Soon after both ponies heard keys jingling just outside of the kitchen doors. "Evase manuvers deputy!" Pinkie whispered harshly, quickly combat rolling under a mobile serving cart, which had a table cloth covering it. Fluttershy's teeth were chattering, her eyes darted all over the room looking for a good spot. She went to open a large metal cabinet but it was filled with kitchen supplies. She went over to the fridge, which was filled with food. After a couple of seconds of peering in there she heard the door start to open. At speeds that Rainbow Dash would be impressed by Fluttershy decided to bolt right down under the serving cart beside Pinkie. Now this time it was Pinkie's turn to give her a deadpan stare. Based on the sound of hooves walking into the room, it sounded like there were two of them. "Alright Misty, load up that serving cart. We have a big delivery of food for a couple of rich ponies up in the box seats" a stallion said. "Got it covered sir!" a mare called out, presumably Misty. Fluttershy used a bit of her reserved courage and peeked out of the table cloth to see a pink coated unicorn pony who was using her magic to lift several different types of food onto their cart. She even took notice of the white server shirt she had on with her nametag, Misty Fog. After she got the gist of what was happening she pulled her head back behind the cloth to look at Pinkie nervously. Pinkie only winked at her in return, obviously she had some kind of plan. Fluttershy only looked more nervous as she felt the cart start to move. ______________________________________________________________ "It can't be empty!" Applejack yelled, her and Rarity had found themselves in an old broom closet where the custodian and stashed the trash cart. "Darling, I think I can still sense it. This way!" Rarity called out as they exited the dirty broom closet and wandered off down another corridor. Down the hall was another large door with "EXIT" just above it. The two ponies didn't hesitate to fling the door open and run outside. They found themselves in a carriage parking lot behind the stadium. Rarity turned to the right and noticed two green dumpsters. Both ponies ran forwards and opened them up, but both were empty. "What the hay is goin' on!" Applejack yelled, irritated. "Oh no.." Rarity said gravely, Applejack turned towards Rarity wearily. She caught what her friend's eyes were looking at. It was large garbage carriage. They were similar to the large box like ones from the old west where two ponies would sit on a bench on top. Typically there would be seats inside, but in the case of garbage carriages, it was just a box filled with garbage bags. As both ponies took notice of it, it had started to drive off, with two very strong looking stallions. "Stop right there you two! Give us that garbage!" Rarity yelled, causing some of the ponies nearby to give her odd looks. Both of the earth pony stallions just looked at her oddly. Both were pretty big, kind of built like Big Mac. Both stallions just gave each other annoyed looks, an understanding passing between them "Oh great it's more cheapskate garbage diggers. I'm so sick of these ponies always digging through other people's garbage. Go buy stuff instead support the economy!" one of them called back. As soon as the words left his mouth both ponies immediately took off with the carriage. "Support tha' economy what!?" Applejack was beyond furious at this point. Her and Rarity quickly bolted after the two stallions, who even with a carriage were faster than them. Applejack, her athleticism truly showing, put full force into a sprint passing Rarity. The large security gate opened up and the stallions were dashing outside onto the streets. Just as they passed the curb Applejack put on a burst of speed. She jumped forward as they turned right onto the road and latched herself onto the back of the carriage. She looked over her shoulder at Rarity "ah got this one!" Applejack called out as she then began climbing higher onto the cart, but they turned a corner away from Rarity's vision. Rarity on the other hand had ran out of stamina about ten seconds after it started and was bent over breathing heavily, clearly out of breathe. Rarity looked around the parking lot for a means to catch up with Applejack, as if perfectly timed, she noticed a taxi riding by on the street. She quickly hopped forward onto the road, startling the stallion pulling it, forcing him to slide on his feet to stop the carriage. "What was that about!?" he yelled. He was a large pegasus pony with a blue coat and a brown mane that was parted off to the sides. "Sorry sir but it was an emergency!" Rarity said. She quickly trotted up and onto the cart right behind the stallion. "There is a trash carriage up that way that we need to catch, and if you do.. I'll make it worth your while" Rarity softly purred into his ear, the stallion's legs wobbled as she said it. "Got it!" he said, and immediately took off making Rarity fall back in her seat at the sudden speed. "looks like i've still got it" Rarity thought with a grin. He dashed forward and around a corner cutting off other carriages who all happily shouted their disapproval at them. __________________________________________________________________ Rainbow and Twilight had taken to cuddling up by each other as they relaxed and watched the show. The Wonderbolts were performing really well, every routine went down perfectly. At one point one of them even did a trust fall off a cloud and was caught by Spitfire. After that the crowd went wild, ponies jumped up from their seats to cheer, including Rainbow and Twilight. "Whoo!" "Yeah!" they shouted. The instant Rainbow sprang up and raised her hooves a sharp pain in the center of her back. "Ah!" she yelped as she collapsed back into her seat, she pressed a hoof against her back in pain, Twilight immediately sat back down by her side. "Rainbow are you alright, what happened?" Twilight asked, the worry was evident in her voice and her facial expressions. Rainbow put a hoof behind her back and felt around, nothing seemed to have hit her, it felt more like an internal thing. Probably just stretched the wrong way. "I think I just pulled a muscle, I'll be alright" Rainbow said, but Twilight still stared at her worryingly. "Are you sure?" "Yeah it's fine" Rainbow said. Twilight dejectedly sat back in her seat and stared forward at the show. As she tried to watch the she could hear little annoyed grunts coming out of Rainbow as she held her back. After a minute an idea popped into her head. "How about I give you a massage?" "A massage?' "Yeah, i'm sure it'll help!" Twilight said as she put her hooves on Rainbow's shoulder. Rainbow leaned forward, not expecting it to help her back much. Twilight leaned over and positioned herself better. "Lower" Twilight lowered her hooves a little bit. "Lower" She lowered them down to a little under the middle of her back and started kneading at her back. Rainbow instantly flinched at the contact, but quickly relaxed into it with an audible sign, something that Twilight took as a good sign to keep going. She slowly moved her hooves up and down pushing into her back slowly. Rainbow just breathed in and out slowly as Twilight perfectly massaged the sweet spot, she could feel the pain leaving her body as she did. She felt so relaxed as Twilight went to work on her. It was difficult to avoid because of how good it felt, but Rainbow's body took over, allowing her tongue to hang out of her mouth. She barely noticed since it was somewhere other then the sensation she was having on her back. Rainbow had completely forgotten about the Wonderbolts at this point. Twilight then started to work her magic, literally. She lit up her own and put a small amount of pressure on her back with her aura. She then slowly made quick little magical jabs at her back, not hard enough to hurt, but forceful enough to really get in there. They were very fast, it honestly felt like Rainbow was in a massage chair, it was incredible. Rainbow felt like she was heaven, drool threatening to drip out of her slack jawed mouth. Twilight looked at Rainbow's face from the side, she could see that she was obviously enjoying this. Rainbow's eyes were having hard time staying open during her own personal bliss, and Twilight couldn't help but find her face extremely adorable at the moment. She was like a puppy getting tummy rubs. Yet another idea popped into Twilight's brain as she watched her marefriend's facial features. Her brain told her not to, not now, but pretty much everything else told her to, so she did. Twilight slowly leaned forward and soft kissed Rainbow on the cheek. She then moved to her jaw, then her neck and slowly trailed little kisses along Rainbow's neck, the audible sighing escaping out of Rainbow being a good sign that it was working pretty well. She slowly kissed her shoulders, and then began from the top again, going from the cheek down. As Twilight peppered her with kisses, Rainbow could feel her wings twitching. Before she could do anything about it her wings slowly started to raise higher and higher, more and more noticeable like the blush growing on Rainbow's cheeks. "Hey! Why don't you two get a room!" some Stallion called out. Rainbow and Twilight quickly broke out of their own slice of heaven to see a few ponies around them angrily glaring their way. Even a younger pegasus colt, but Twilight doubted that he minded all that much considering his wings were pointing straight up too, and he obviously was having a hard time pushing them back down with his hooves. "Yeah what he said, go get a room. There are kids here!" some random mare called out. Twilight looked around nervously, a blush covering her face. As she prepared for an inevitable popcorn bucket being thrown at her, she felt Rainbow take her by the hoof and pull her to her feet. "Rainbow what are you doing?" "Getting us a room" she simply stated, as she started to walk off to the side pulling Twilight with her. "Uh.. what?" "You heard what they said, get a room. So that's what were gonna do" Rainbow started up the stairs with Twilight. "W-w-wait but the Wonderbolts, you're gonna miss it!" Twilight said. "You know I can't believe i'm gonna say this, but hay with the Wonderbolts, i'd rather go be with you... alone" she said the last word as seductively as she could. Twilight smiled, her heart warming at the thought of Rainbow choosing her over the Wonderbolts. "Her hormones may be playing a part in that decision, but i'm not going to complain" Twilight thought as Rainbow dragged her up by the concession stands, eager to have some alone time with her marefriend. It didn't take long for them to trot down some hallways and stumble across a large metal door which was left wide open for some reason. They both went inside and soon themselves a broom closet. Rainbow stepped in first and offered her hoof to Twilight to let her in. "My lady.." she said formally, making Twilight giggle. The two went into the dimly lit broom closet and eagerly shut the door behind them. Rainbow wasted no time in pushing her lips against Twilight's who hungrily kissed her back, both ponies starting to moan as they went to exploring each other's mouths. The janitor stallion from earlier had seen it all unfold from afar, and even heard their muffled moaning from inside. He blushed, and quietly turned on his hooves and just walked away. __________________________________________________________________ *knock knock* Fluttershy and Pinkie listened at the noise from outside the cart. The door swung open, Pinkie decided to take peak outside of the cart. She saw Misty standing there as the door opened to reveal a pegasus stallion with a forest green coat and light brown hair that was spikey in the front, he had bright blue eyes. To be perfectly honest Pinkie thought he was actually really good looking, Fluttershy leaned into peek as well and blushed as she saw him. "Oh is this my food?" he asked. "Yes Mr..." "Atom Mistral" "Ah yes, well here is your cart. You can leave it when you leave we'll take care of it" "Oh alright cool, thanks" he said as he took the cart and pulled it inside. He pulled it over near a wall behind the couch and took a few cookies from the top. He then went over and sat on the couch while he snacked, watching the show right through a wall completely made out of glass. He sat and watched one hoof holding a cookie and the other was used to hold up a piece of paper. Pinkie pulled out a pair binoculars, Fluttershy just stared at her, confused. From what Pinkie could tell the paper said "Luciano's Pizza" on the top and had a lot of numbers under it, probably something money related. Soon after picking it up, Atom crumbled up the paper and tossed it across the room with a loud dramatic sigh. "How does Sunbeam expect me to invest in anything if all these restaurants she shows me are all duds. I bet most of these places could easily find themselves on Kitchen Nightmares, half of them microwave their food!" he shouted, clearly distressed, and clearly desperate. "The potential cost is just gonna burn away unless a find the right place" he added, sinking into his couch seat as he said it. Pinkie turned to look at Fluttershy, who looked back at her sadly. "I feel really sorry for him" Fluttershy whispered as her sad eyes locked onto Pinkie. "Come on Flutter butter the mission was to snack it up" Pinkie said, hoping to convince Fluttershy. Though her element wasn't gonna be ignored and Pinkie knew that, this stallion was gonna receive some kinda kindness. "We are not leaving without helping him. He obviously has an issue, and I want to help. This is our new mission" Fluttershy whispered, but in a surprisingly confident way. Her eyes took a more serious look and they crept close to The Stare, Pinkie nervously looked back and forth at her and the depressed looking stallion. "Okay okay, We can uh.. bake him a cake? or.... give him a hug or... ooohh oohh I got it" Pinkie whispered excitedly. She quickly whipped out a small top hat, and a pair of glasses. She put that hat on and told Fluttershy to put on the glasses. "Follow my lead" She combat rolled out of the cart, followed by a nervous Fluttershy. "Well hello there sir, I may or may not but most definitely of heard about your financial food investment problems, and I come to you with a solution" Pinkie declared, bouncing over to the stallion. During her interruption the stallion jumped back at the scare and fell off the couch. He grumpily stood back up to face her and Fluttershy. "Who are you? and did you just come out of that cart?" "Where were from is not important!" "Yes it is" "Anyways, my name is Pinkamena Diane Pie, and this is my secretary, Flutter Butter" "Um.. Fluttersh-" Fluttershy went to correct her, but Pinkie simply ignored it. "We have brought with us, a business proposition!" The stallion glared at them skeptically. "What kinda proposition?" "I'd like to interest you in an investment. in Sugarcube Corner" Pinkie said. The stallions look softened a little. "Alright.. uh why don't you two sit down then?" he said, Pinkie happily bounced and hopped up into a recliner across from him. Fluttershy nervously went to sit on the couch by him, the only spot remaining. "Okay what's Sugarcube Corner?" "One of the greatest sugary treat establishments in Equestria, pretty much only rivaled by Sweet Apple Acres delicious apples!" Pinkie explained. "and where is this?' "Ponyville" "and you really think your food is that good?" "Definitely, right Flutters?" Fluttershy smiled at Atom with a nod. "Oh yes, Pinkie's treats are wonderful, and Applejack's apples are too". Atom rubbed his chin, as he pondered on this strange pony's proposition. "Okay, well you can't just expect me to go on your word. Did you bring samples?' Atom asked. Fluttershy looked nervously to Pinkie Pie who for some reason looked as cool as a cucumber. "Yeppie right here!" she said, pulling a bag of cookies and brownies out from behind her and tossing it to Atom. Fluttershy's eyes went wide, threatening to pop out of her head as she watched Pinkie whip out snacks just like that. She leaned over to her recliner, Pinkie leaned in as well. "Pinkie, if you had snacks the whole time then why didn't we just eat these instead of sneaking into the kitchen?" Fluttershy asked, her bewilderment apparent. "Cause Silly, these treats are only in case of emergency" Pinkie said as she pointed at the bag. Sure enough the bag even had "For Emergencys" written on it. While they whispered Atom happily took a cookie and popped it into his mouth, he slowly chewed on it cautiously. He made a bunch of thinking noises as he chewed. "hmmm.... hmm.. hmmmm." After slowly chewing for a few moments, he swallowed, and Pinkie and Fluttershy watched with baited breathes. "These cookies... are AMAZING! Seriously wow, at-least some of the best i've ever had!" he called out excitedly. Pinkie and Fluttershy turned to each other, smiling from ear to ear, both clearly ecstatic. "I know it's not really wise to make a business decision so fast, but who in the hay cares. I'm more than willing to invest in Sugarcube Corner" he said before digging into one of the brownies in the bag. "Pinkie that's great!" Fluttershy called out excitedly. Pinkie only smiled more. "and i'll have to stop by Ponyville to try out those apples you're talking about, but if they're anywhere on the level of these treats then i'm all for investing in your friend's food too" Atom said, as he happily finished the brownie in three quick bites. Atom Mistral pulled out a piece of paper from a folder sitting on the coffee table and slammed it down by Pinkie, and tossed her a pen. "You sign there, and I sign there" he said pointing to two different blank lines. Pinkie took the pen in her teeth and quickly scribbled down her messy signature, but took the time to make the dot above her i into a heart. Atom didn't hesitate to sign too as Pinkie slid the paper back to him. "Alright then it's official, i'll get these to my people and we'll be all set. I'm happy to being doing business with you Pinkamena" he said extending a hoof. Pinkie grinned at him and reached a hoof out to shake his "just call me Pinkie, and she's Fluttershy" Pinkie said motioning towards her. Fluttershy smiled at her gratefully. "How about we celebrate!" Atom declared as he got up off the couch. They watched him head over to a mini fridge they had in the room and he pulled out a champagne bottle. Pinkie bounced up from her seat excitedly, but Fluttershy sat back nervously. Pinkie turned around when she noticed that she didn't follow. "Come on Fluttershy have some!" "Oh I don't know, we still have to get home" "Yeah but that's on a train silly filly, just one?" Pinkie asked. Atom smiled towards her. "Yeah, just one?" he said, which caused Fluttershy to blush. "Oh alright.." she mumbled, getting up to join them. "Super! Do you wanna do the honors Flutter butter?" "I don't know-" Fluttershy started, but Pinkie gave her a knowing look. "Um.. okay" Fluttershy said, but a little more upbeat. Atom handed her the bottle and Fluttershy nervously took hold of the cork with her teeth. Before pulling her eyes darted nervous toward Pinkie and Atom who just nodded encouragingly back at her. She pulled back and the cork went flying into the roof, champagne now shooting out from the bottle. Pinkie and Atom cheered as the champagned fizzled out, and Fluttershy couldn't help but giggle during it all, and smile towards Pinkie, who smiled back at her. > Ch 3 - Hot and Heavy Action > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Applejack climbed up onto the top of the carriage, coming very close to falling. As she stood up on top she saw the two charging stallions look over their shoulders at her. "Now what are y'all gonna do" Applejack said, grinning towards them. In return they both grinned at each other before jumping right into zig zag patterns, knocking the carriage back and forth. Applejack stumbled on her hooves left and right and fell over. She rolled against the carriage off to the left, Applejack flung her hoof forward to catch the edge, dangling off the side of it. "Oh my, Applejack!" a lady like voice called out. As Applejack struggled to pull herself back up she looked behind her to see Rarity and some other stallion gaining on them with a chariot. "Rarity!" Applejack called out excitedly. Rarity's carriage picked up speed and shifted over to the left onto the oncoming lane. They slowly picked up enough speed before leveling out as they were just under Applejack. The farm pony let go of the carriage to drop onto the chariot, Rarity reached her hooves and grabbed Applejack to make sure she didn't stumble off. They both found their place on the chariot sitting beside each other seconds later. "Thank goodness y'all showed up Rarity, I might have been done for!" Applejack said happily, she tilted her hat towards Rarity with a smile. "It was no problem dear Applejack, all I had to do was use my feminine charm on this stallion. It's good to know I still have it in me" Rarity smiled back before slowly turning forward. Her smile quickly shifted to horror as another carriage came racing towards them in the oncoming road. "Move, move!" Rarity shouted, the garbage carriage was to their right, so the stallion was forced to shift over to the left onto the sidewalk. They took a hard turn to the left narrowly avoiding a street light. "Whoa nelly!' Applejack shouted as the carriage raced by them narrowly, just barely clipping the back of the chariot. It took off a few chunks of wood and shook them. The chariot kept the same pace as the garbage carriage, but now on the sidewalk. Pedestrians were diving left and right to avoid being run over screaming at them while they did so. The chariot was scraping against store buildings as they passed them, even hitting bushes planted on the sides. A tree branch even slapped Rarity in the face as they flew under a low hanging tree, much to Applejacks amusement. Rarity only glared at her friend to stop her giggling. The stallion found his opening and shifted back to the right, losing some speed to fall behind the carriage. "Get right up to tha' back, we'll go from you and jump!" Applejack yelled, the stallion nodded and raced forward until they were pony to bumper with them. Applejack went first climbing down and hopping onto the stallion. He grunted as her full weight fell on him, but she quickly hopped off and climbed back onto the carriage. Rarity hesitated but did the same, she jumped from the chariot to the stallion. Applejack extended her hoof, Rarity smiled at her but then looked at the fast moving ground below them. "Applejack I- i.." her eyes raised again to meet Applejack who wore a confident knowing smile. Rarity couldn't help but smile back at her, she felt a new vigor set in throughout her body as she prepared prepared to jump. "Ya gonna jump or what, my backs killin' me!" the stallion shouted. Rarity sheepishly smiled down at him before leaping forward and grabbing Applejack's hoof. She slowly pulled her light unicorn friend up on top of the carriage. "Alright, i'm gonna lower you onto the side so that you can climb in" Applejack said, Rarity nodded. They both steadily made their way over to the side. Applejack held her hoof and leaned over the carriage, gently draping Rarity down until she dangled beside the carriage. Rarity used her other free hoof to open up the carriage door and hop inside. She quickly lit up her horn attempting to locate the diamond, it didn't take long until she sensed it under a bunch of other trash bags. Rarity reached forward but stopped herself. "Rarity what's the hold up!?" "It's garbage.... and I just got a hooficure!" Rarity shouted back. Applejack facehoofed. "Gosh darnit, after all this now ya' chicken out? Would ya' just grab it!" she shouted back. Rarity relented, she reached a hoof forward hesitantly before shoving it into the pile of trash bags. She pulled out the bag she sensed it in and poured it out infront of her. Rarity looked at her hoof, and the filth, her hoof and then the filth. "I'm so sorry..." she whispered sadly to her hooves before sending them into the dirty muck. She slowly reached around for the ring, but not without yelling "ew ew ew ew eewww" over and over in her whining voice, Applejack only sighed with another facehoof. After a minute of pure tartarus for Rarity she found the ring, surprisingly still in good condition. Rarity looked over to the doorway and saw Applejack's hoof still dangling. Rarity took hold of it and Applejack pulled her back up. "Dude DUDE!" both mares looked to see the stallions freaking out. They looked ahead and saw that they were heading straight for a dead end, and at this speed, they were definitely not stopping in time. The chariot had fallen back too far and time was too short. "Rarity were jumpin!" "What? are you mad!?" Rarity yelled back. Applejack took her hoof and nodded towards her. "Maybe but it's our best bet, on three!?" Applejack yelled. Rarity looked around to take everything in, nothing really stood out as a better alternative so she turned back to Applejack. "Alright on three" Both mares approached the edge on the right side. They spoke simultaneously. "One" "Two!" "THREE!" both mares leaped off the side, their hooves still firmly holding onto each other. Applejack attempted to take the brunt of it and wrapped her hooves around Rarity, but they went tumbling regardless. They rolled for a few seconds, harshly hitting the concrete. After a few seconds on nothing Applejack opened one eye to find that they were actually still alive, she looked down to see Rarity smiling up at her. "I cannot believe that worked" Rarity laughed. "MOVE!" both mares turned their attention to the carriage. The two stallions attempted to run to the left but the carriage already had it's momentum. The stallions tucked and rolled but the carriage went forward slamming into a brick wall, and dragging the stallions across the ground with it by the ropes. The carriage exploded into chunks of wood and dirt and filth, covering the street in garbage. Applejack and Rarity both got to their hooves to run over and see the damage, as did several other ponies. "Oh dear are they alright.." Rarity muttered as she caught sight of the two stallion's laying on the ground. Both were still awake, and covered in gunk. One even had a banana peel on his head. "I think I sprained my leg" "I think I busted my hoof!" Both stallions slowly moaned in pain, neither feeling all too great. Rarity and Applejack nervously looked at each other and back at them. Many other ponies also showed their concern, going over and helping them sit up. A crowd had started to form around the scene. "Uh.. we should probably go..." Applejack muttered, Rarity eagerly nodded her head. "Yes, I think that would be wise.." Rarity turned to face their chariot which had now done a complete u-turn and was heading to anywhere that isn't here. Rarity just sighed dramatically before turning back to Applejack. "Alright, then I suppose were hoofin' it" Rarity declared, her and Applejack quickly and quietly ducked out into a nearby alley, disappearing into what was now coming closer to night. Both glad to have gotten out of that action unscathed. ______________________________________________________________________ Meanwhile another type of action was still happening, in the broom closet. Rainbow Dash and Twilight had been making out in there for a solid fourty five minutes Twilight noted, it was a new record. Lips locked, moaning in pleasure, both mares were having the time of their lives. Their manes were disheveled and messy at this point since they kept running their hooves through each other's manes. The broom closet had become considerably more warm, and somewhat musty as the two mares swapped saliva. They had kept themselves attached for all of those fourty-five minutes, wrapped in each other's hooves making out until the moon set, they're body heat rising considerably from all the close contact. Their tongues battled for dominance as they wrestled back and forth, neither daring to back down. Twilight pulled back, "I love you so much Rainbow" Rainbow smiled "I love you too" before diving back in, hungry for more Twilight. After five more minutes of "one of the hottest make out sessions ever" as Rainbow deemed it, they found themselves a visitor. The broom closet door opened to reveal the janitor from earlier. "Really? You two have been making out for-" he checked his watch "an hour now... How can you even breathe for that long!" he shouted. Twilight and Rainbow looked to him and back to each other, blushes very evident on both of their faces. They grinned at each other before Rainbow then turned to scowl at him before slamming the door shut in his face. Not a minute later they could be heard going at it again, the janitor merely shook his head in disapproval and stomped off. "I know i'm a janitor, but even I don't want to go in there when they're done" _____________________________________________________________ After their own personal 7 Minutes in Heaven, Rainbow Dash and Twilight were now out in the parking lot, it had gotten late and they still had no idea where their friends were. Both ponies looked considerably messy, their manes pointing out in different directions like they had just been skydiving. Then they noticed Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy approaching them. "Hey girls, where were you?" Twilight asked. "On an adventure!" Pinkie shouted excitedly. Twilight and Rainbow only shook their heads at Pinkie for being Pinkie. Rarity and Applejack were next to arrive, both had some scrapes and bruises. "Whoa what the hay happened to you guys?" Rainbow asked "Yeah you look like you just fought off a griffon army!" Pinkie shouted. "Are you alright?" Fluttershy softly asked, stepping forward to look at them. "We're quite alright darlings, but me and Applejack most definitely have a story to tell, but later. Twilight may I speak with you over here" Rarity said, Twilight nodded and followed her anxiously. "Oh right, I completely forgot about the ring. Especially with Rainbow and me... anyways let's hope this is good news Twilight thought. "Good news darling, we recovered your ring. It was quite the adventure accomplishing it but here it is" Rarity offered the ring to Twilight who happily took it. "Thank you Rarity thank you!" she said giddily, hugging Rarity. "and I really want to hear all about your adventure, but I have something to do first" Twilight said. "Of course dear, and might I just add that you and Rainbow really need to work on being more incognito with your eh.. private time" Rarity replied, making Twilight blush heavily. "What gave it away?" "Oh please dear, your manes look like you've just escaped a tornado and you're very sweaty. I'm willing to bet if you wore lipstick, Rainbow would have most likely shown up with lipstick smooches plastered all over her face" Rarity said while giggling, Twilight laughed too, her blush only growing. Soon after Twilight walked over and asked Rainbow to come walk with her. They didn't go very far, they both just headed over to a tree on the edge of the parking lot. Rarity told everypony to watch, so they did, they were too far away to hear them talking though. They watched as Twilight slowly put her hoof on Rainbow's shoulder, her mouth moving. Rainbow just stared at her, no emotion evident. After a few minutes Twilight reached out from behind her and pulled out the ring, showing it to Rainbow. The pegasus' mouth went wide opened as she stared down at the ring and at Twilight. Everypony watched happily as Rainbow quickly lunged forward to hug Twilight, who wrapped her arms around the unicorn like she never wanted to let go. It was hard to tell but from here but they could see something resembling tears in both ponies eyes. Everypony watched, big smiles plastered on their faces as they watched a beautiful moment between their friends. When the two returned everypony congratulated them, Applejack patted Rainbow on the back, Fluttershy gave her a hug, etc. Rainbow made a comment about the ring not really working since she didn't have a horn to put it on, but everypony "awwwed" when Rainbow said she'll just have to let her princess wear it for her before gently slipping it on her horn. The night didn't end there though, they all met up at a local burger joint nearby and discussed everything. "I can't believe you got an investor Pinkie!" Twilight shouted happily. "That's awesome Pinks" Rainbow added. "Yeah and ah can't believe ya told him to try the farm.." Applejack said in shock. "Yep, and let's just say you're chances are lookin' pretty good!" Pinkie said, as she gently nudged Applejack a few times with a grin. "Ah can't thank ya enough" Applejack said before wrapping Pinkie in a hug. "Speaking of thanks, thank you again you two for getting my ring back" Twilight said, as she looked to Rarity and Applejack. "It was no problem darling.... or well actually I suppose it was" Rarity said, making everypony chuckle since they had already been told of their crazy night. Rainbow Dash had practically fell on the floor, tears of laughter coming out, when Rarity told them about Applejack getting a sloppy kiss on the cheek. "I still can't believe I missed out on a high speed chase though" Rainbow added with a laugh. Then all eyes turned towards the burger place's doors when a little jingle went off signifying somepony entering. Applejack's eyes shot wide open as she realized that it was the stallion from earlier. Everypony else picked up on that and looked worriedly between him and Applejack. His eyes caught on to hers, and Applejack felt like it was a nightmare come true. "There you are Applebottom!" he called out as he trotted over. Aj looked stunned, it felt like death was coming to claim her. "Aj let's go!" Rainbow called out, everypony turned to find that Rainbow had opened up the window next to their booth and was already outside. Applejack smiled gratefully at her as she climbed out of the window with her. "Applebottom wait!" the stallion called out running back to the entrance. Applejack started to climb on Rainbow's back as she bent over. "Alright we'll see you girls later, i've got a rescue mission" Rainbow said, she gave a quick wink at towards Twilight. As soon as Applejack was settled, Rainbow took off at her signature speeds, her rainbow trail following in her wake. As they shot off into the sky the stallion ran across the street after them hopelessly shouting for them to wait, much to the amusement of everypony else.
