> One Last Ride > by Cardinal Dan Productions > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Prologue: Date Night > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ***A Waffen Pony Production*** ***Part 1: Brownie Wife*** Sunset Shimmer giggled uncontrollably as she lit the candles on the dining room table. "Applejack is going to love this..." She quickly returned to the kitchen to collect the brownie she had made and brought it back to the table. It was a beastly thing, the brownie. The pan still burned human skin, despite the gloves Sunset was wearing. "Hot hot hot hot hot hot hot... Damn! That's hot!" Sunset dropped the pan an inch above the table's surface. The pan hit the table with a loud 'bang', and some of the molten brownie within spilled out and landed on Sunset's wrist. "Ah!" She cried out in pain before quickly bringing her wrist to her mouth and licking the brownie away. At last, she heard the front door open. *That's got to be her!* Sunset scrambled to her position on the other side of the table, desperately trying to fix her shirt so it showed as much of her cleavage as possible. Satisfied, she made a sexy pose as she waited for Applejack to arrive. "Hey, hot stuff..." Sunset purred like a kitten as she sprawled herself out on the table. "I've been waiting for you..." Instead of Applejack, however, a deep, masculine voice replied through the darkness. “Me?” Sunset turned pale and tried to cover her cleavage as Bic Mac walked into the dining room. Her brother-in-law just smiled at Sunset as he walked past her and into the kitchen. Completely embarrassed, Sunset sat down and buried her face in her hands. She didn't even notice the sound of the front door opening again. "Hey, sweetie..." Sunset peaked her head above her hands to see Applejack standing at the opposite end of the table. The country girl chuckled lightly as she set her bag down in the chair next to her. "Did... you make this?" She eyed the giant brownie on the table. "Yeah... I even had a whole sexy display planned out. I'm actually glad I forgot the lingerie..." Sunset frowned as she looked back at Bic Mac in the kitchen. "That would have been bad..." Applejack smiled and knelt on the floor next to Sunset. She threw her arms around her wife's neck and planted a wet kiss on her cheek. "You're plenty sexy the way ya' are right now. I'm just amazed ya' managed to pull something like this off. Usually, the fire department has to help ya' put the flames out." Sunset smirked and rolled her eyes. "Oh... Har har, Applejack." Applejack stuck her tongue out at Sunset. She chuckled before giving Applejack's tongue a playful lick, startling her. "You wanna eat this brownie, now?" Applejack shook her head. "I don't wanna have dessert..." Then, she gave Sunset a very dirty look. "Not until I've eaten the main course..." Sunset let out a muffled yelp as Applejack pulled her into a passionate kiss. Both girls stood up from the table, allowing their arms to better explore each other's bodies. As the moments passed, the kisses grew longer, deeper, and wetter. Lips parted and tongues darted inside the other's mouth. Sunset managed to break away for a moment, breathing heavily. "Wh-Why don't we... go to the bed room? We don't wanna bother Bic Mac..." His voice echoed from the kitchen. "Eeyup." Applejack's lips curled into a smile, and she nodded her head. "Great thinkin', Sunset..." Sunset and Applejack didn't even make it into their bedroom before Applejack began groping Sunset's breasts from behind. "Ap-Applejack!" She cried out and even managed a soft moan. "You have the most beautiful tits in the whole world..." Applejack moaned lustfuly into Sunset's neck. "So big and soft..." Sunset moaned loudly now as Applejack continued to play with her breasts. "It's been a while..." Applejack pecked little kisses on her wife’s neck while squeezing her boobs. Sunset felt compelled to agree as her girlhood grew more and more wet by the second. "Y-Y-Yeah..." Applejack spun her around. Now facing each other, the two lovers shared a deep kiss. When they finally pulled away, a thick strand of saliva still connected their lips. "Are ya' ready to get started?" Sunset beamed as she brushed the hair out of her eyes. "I thought you'd never ask..." ***Part 2: How Far We've Come*** Sunshine held her hood tight over her head as she walked down the city sidewalk. It was the only way she could hide her horn without drawing too much attention. Luckily for her, the sun had fallen, and the darkness gave her some piece of mind. Sunshine walked hurriedly until she reached her destination, a popular breakfast diner on a busy corner in Canterlot. She let out a long sigh before walking inside. Though the place was a breakfast diner, Joe's amazing assortment of meals didn't stop at breakfast foods. For the regular customers, and family friends like Sunshine, the place was an exquisite café. Inside, Sunshine pulled her hood back, revealing her horn. She didn't care who saw inside the diner. Everyone there knew her as a friend of the establishment's owner. The diner was the only place in Canterlot she could truly be free. "Well, I'll be... Sunshine Harvest!" Joe came into view from behind the counter. "What a special treat, seeing ya' on this fine, Summer evenin'." "Hey, Joe..." Sunshine waved as she put on a silly grin. "You know what I'm here for." Joe took a moment to ponder her request. "Hmm... Your usual steak and baked potato, or your boyfriend?" Sunshine detected a hint of sarcasm in his voice. She blushed bright red, and her horn glowed a soft pink. "Both..." Joe smiled, and without saying a word, he disappeared into the kitchen. Moments later, Dennis arrived, exiting the door Joe entered. "Sunshine?" He looked full of surprise. “Wh-What are you doing here?" "I came to see you, dumbass." Sunshine rolled her eyes before blowing him a kiss. "Also, I'm hungry." Dennis turned his head to hide the red hue in his cheeks. "I... I thought I was going to pick you up when I got off work..." "I couldn't wait that long. Don't tell me you don't want my company, Dennis." Dennis chuckled and shook his head. "N-N-No... No. It's nothing like that. I just... wasn't expecting... this." Sunshine cocked her head. "You didn't think I would come to see you while you're at work?" He shook his head again. "No... You don't get it. I mean, I wasn't expecting any of this... Us... dating and kissing... It's all so..." Dennis hesitated as he tried to come up with the right words. "It's unexpected... I've had a crush on you for years, since Freshman year. I never thought I would ever have such an... intimate relationship with you..." Sunshine raised an eyebrow. "You had a crush on me for years? Really, Dennis? You had a pretty funny way of showing it..." A smirk came over Dennis’ face, and he folded his arms across his chest. "Hey, you were no saint yourself." Sunshine frowned as she recalled the last day of school a couple of months ago, when she blasted Dennis several feet backwards using her magic. "We were both in the wrong... I'm glad we're where we are, even if you are still bad at sex..." Dennis leaned in closely. "Not everyone gets to practice on a horse..." He whispered. "That was one time! I trusted you with that secret. Don't you dare use it against me." Dennis held his hands up, signaling his surrender. "Alright... You win, Sunshine. So... What exactly do you want to do when I get off?" Sunshine shot him a dirty look. "I can think of a few... fun activities we can both enjoy..." Dennis cocked his head to the side. "Yeah?" His interest had been peaked. Sunshine bit her bottom lip seductively. "Yeah, but before we do that..." Dennis leaned forward across the counter until Sunshine's lips were a breath away from his ear. He wanted to hear more of what she had to say. "Get me my damn steak." ***Up Next: End Summer Harvest*** > Chapter 1: End Summer Harvest > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ***Many Weeks Later: Summer's End*** ***Part 1: Sweet Apple Mornings*** The dawn came with a chilling cold, one that swept across the fields of Sweet Apple Acres like a plague. It was the dawn of a new day, a very big, special day. *Mmm... So hungry...* Sunshine Harvest groaned and rolled over in her bed. When her eyes opened, blinding light from the window illuminated her room. She groaned and stretched as she sat upright. The morning welcomed her, but Sunshine did not welcome the morning. There was a soft knock at the door. "Hey, sweetie..." Sunset Shimmer said as she walked in. She eyed the duffle bag leaning by the door. "Do you... have everything ready?" Sunset asked. Sunshine nodded and slid out of her bed. With only thin shirt and panties to cover her body, the cold chilled Sunshine. Sunset smiled sadly and handed her daughter a long coat. "You'll need this..." Sunset promised her. "It's cold where you're going. Winter has already begun in Equestria, and the snow there can be brutal." Sunshine turned the coat over in her arms. It was long and grey, a trench coat. It came down past her knees when Sunshine tried it on. "It looks good on you." Sunset said softly before bringing her into a tight embrace. "I'm gonna miss you, baby..." "I'll only be gone for a few days, right?" Sunshine asked, returning her mother's embrace. "You'll survive." Sunset pulled away wearing a smirk on her face. "Hmm... Come on downstairs after you get dressed." She said before kissing Sunshine's cheek. "Applejack made ya' some breakfast." Sunshine quickly removed the coat and began getting dressed with a newfound eagerness. Applejack's cooking was something she never wanted to miss. With her clothes on and her duffle bag over her shoulder, Sunshine took on last look around the room, and she let out a long sigh. She then closed the door behind her and travled down the stairs to the dining room. Breakfast had already been laid out. Eggs, grits, ham, and... "Oh! Pancakes..." Sunshine said hungrily as she eyed the table. Applejack, who was sitting at the table, chuckled lightly. "I thought you'd like it." She said sweetly. "Though, I had to keep your mother away before she ate them all." "I was hungry too." Sunset admitted. "Go ahead and eat, Sunshine. Princess Twilight will be here soon to take us to the portal." Sunshine made a confused look as she sat down at the table. "Twilight's coming?" She asked quizzically. "Of course." Sunset said. "The princess will be with you every step of the way." Applejack took a long swig from her glass of milk and cleared her throat. "That means you'll be stayin' with Equestrian royalty, so you better behave yourself over there." Sunshine chuckled before turning her attention to the breakfast feast before her. Her stomached begged for food at a level of discomfort Sunshine hadn't felt before, but she was happy to comply. ***Part 2: Twilight's Arrival*** Sunset Shimmer watched from the door as Princess Twilight pulled up to the Apple homestead. With her left hand on her hip and a grin on her face, Sunset waved to her friend as she exited her car. "Good morning, Sunset Shimmer." Twilight said with a smile. "You're looking pretty good." Sunset chuckled and welcomed the Equestrian inside. "You're not looking so bad yourself. How was your trip?" "I didn't stop at the yellow light, this time." Twilight said proudly. "I think I'm getting much better at this 'driving' thing." Inside, Applejack was waiting for them. She welcomed Twilight with open arms. "I hope you're hungry." The cowgirl said. "We've got plenty left your your trip back to Equestria." Twilight's eyes widened as she eyed the table behind Applejack. "Pancakes?" She asked. "Maybe just one..." Applejack offered Twilight a full plate, and the princess immediately began eating. "So... You and Sunshine are gonna be staying in... Ponyville?" Applejack asked. Twilight nodded her head before swallowing her food. "That's right." She said. "She'll be staying with me in the Crystal Palace." "Just the two of you in a big palace?" Applejack asked. "Y'all might get might lonely in there." Twilight shook her head. "My friends there will certainly be visiting a lot. I've told them a lot about Sunshine, and I'm certain they will want to meet her. Besides, Starlight and Spike live there too, so she'll always have to talk to." "Spike?" Sunset asked. "Your pet dog?" "Dragon." Twilight corrected her. "Spike is... uh... a dragon in Equestria." Applejack had a confused look on her face. "So... If Winona were to go to Equestria, would she be..." Twilight pondered the thought. It was an interesting one. "There is still much about the portal's transformation abilities we don't understand. The laws are... confusing at best." Twilight said, shooting Sunset a look. "Even Chief changed form when he followed Applejack through the portal. When he entered Equestria, he became human." Sunset's gaze hit the floor. "I would have liked to have seen that..." She said softly. Several silent minutes passed before Sunshine descended the stairs. Twilight saw her and was the first to speak. "Ah, Sunshine... Are you ready?" She asked. "Do you have everything you'll need in Equestria?" Sunset reached for the counter behind her and brought back a small stack of letters and envelopes. She quickly passed them along to a very confused Sunshine. "Don't give me that look." Sunset said with a silly grin. "You're not getting any service in Equestria, so I'll expect you to write me at least once a day. Twilight will make sure your letters make it through the portal." Sunset wrapped her arms around her daughter and pulled her into a tight embrace. Sunshine brushed the hair out of her eyes when she pulled away, and she looked her mother in the eyes, wearing a huge grin. "Alright..." Sunset said softly. "Now, let's get you to the portal... You've got a big week ahead of you." ***Part 3: Through The Glass*** Sunshine Harvest stood tall where she had stood many times before, outside Canterlot High School. Only this time, she would not be attending any classes. She stared at the statue occupying the center of the campus. Uncertain, Sunshine looked back at her mothers with a worried look on her face. Sunset and Applejack both smiled and nodded encouragingly. Princess Twilight stood by the statue. Sunshine turned back around to face her mothers, and she embraced them both. "I love you..." Sunshine muttered. "We love you too, sweetie..." Sunset said softly before planting a kiss on her daughter's forehead, just to the left of her horn. "Hmm... Maybe we'll have a little party when you get back. We can have Pinkie Pie make your favorite dessert..." Sunshine chuckled at the thought. "That sounds great..." "Sunshine, the portal's open!" Twilight called. "We need to go!" Sunshine looked back at Sunset and Applejack. Sunset smiled and mouthed the word 'go'. Sunshine nodded her head and ran to join Twilight by the portal. "This is it, Sunshine." Twilight said. "Just step right through. I'll be right behind you." Sunshine reached forward, but she hesitated just before her fingers could touch the statue. She took a deep breath and reached forward again. This time, her hand mad contact with the portal. Sunshine let out a startled cry with her hand fell straight through the statue, and the rest of her body quickly followed. Twilight smiled and looked back at Sunset and Applejack. "Don't worry!" Twilight called. "She'll be fine!" Then, Sunset watched as Twilight stepped into the portal herself, disappearing beyond the surface of the shimmering statue. Silence returned to Canterlot High. Sunset turned to Applejack with a worried look on her face. "She... She'll be fine, right?" Applejack looked at her wife and frowned. "Of course, she will. Quit worryin' so much. She's a grown woman, Sunset. Ya' can't baby her forever." Sunset smiled sadly. "It doesn't hurt to try..." ***Up Next: The Other World*** > Chapter 2: The Other World > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ***Part 1: Time And Space*** Sunshine felt as though she was falling. The air around her was emptie and cold. She opened her eyes, but all she could see was darkness, all around her. Sunshine concentrated. She tried to light up her horn, but dispite her best efforts, no magic came to her aid. Then, Sunshine felt a terrible pain from within her stomach. She felt as though sharp razors with stabbing her repeatedly. She tried to cry out in pain, but no sound came. The pain grew and grew. Sunshine tried to scream louder, but she could still make no sound. Her vision began to brighten as the pain grew until Sunshine was seeing nothing but white. Then, everything faded to black, and the pain dissapeared. ***Part 2: Welcome To Equestria*** "Is... Is she alright?" "I haven't the slightest idea, darling... Perhaps we should alert the emergency services?" *Silence* "What are... What's up with her hooves? I know what hooves look like, and they don't look like normal hooves." "Hush now, Rainbow. Ya' can't just say somethin' like that about another mare's hooves. I'm sure there's a good explanation to all of this." *Silence* "Hey, girls! I'm ba- Oh... Oh, Celestia..." "Twilight, thank Celestia you're here. This poor thing just fell right out of the mirror, right onto the floor. She hasn't moved since." *Silence* "Hurry... Get her to a bed. Gently, Rainbow Dash." "You just said hurry!" *Silence* "Is she dead?" "Rainbow!" *Silence* "Leave the water there. Yes, on the nightstand. She'll need plenty of it when she wakes up..." "Shouldn't we tell Princess Celestia?" *Silence* "Princess Celestia and Princess Luna are both on their way right now." "Well, they better hurry. That poor thing is lookin' mighty pale." *Silence* "Her horn... Why is it... glowing? That's a beautiful golden hue. I've never seen anything quite like it." "Let's get out here and let her rest... She only needs rest..." *Silence* ***Part 3: Lovers Apart*** Sunshine Harvest sat on top of the fence bordering the horse pasture, looking out across the rolling green fields. It was one of her favorite spots. She liked watching the horses run and play. Occasionally, she would join them. The horses didn't mind. They welcomed her like one of their own, but this time, Sunshine wanted to sit on the sidelines and watch. A gentle wind blew across the field, rustling the grass and blowing Sunshine's hair behind her. With the warmth of the setting sun on her face and the wind in her hair, nothing could bring her down. "You're a hard girl to figure, Sunshine..." Startled, Sunshine spun her head around in search of the voice. Her eyes scanned the area around the fence but saw no one. Alone again, Sunshine turned her attention back to the horses. "I thought I had you figured, but you constantly prove me wrong. I guess that's just one of the reasons I... I like you so much." "D-Dennis?" Sunshine gasped, looking around for the source of the voice. He sounded close, but Dennis was nowhere in sight. Sunshine hopped down from the fence and began walking into toe pasture. "You're a hard girl to figure, Sunshine..." The voice echoed. Sunshine continued walking. She walked until she reached the tall grass, and she continued into the unknown. "You twisted my emotions and my mind, Sunshine." Sunshine broke into a sprint. "I thought I had you figured, and you did something to me." Sunshine ran until she caught her foot in a snake hole. Her ankle twisted, and she fell forward. But Just before she hit the ground, a pair of arms caught her. Sunshine looked up and came face to face with Dennis. "You made me fall in love..." Sunshine beamed. "You have such a way with words..." She said in a sarcastic tone. Dennis gave her a sly smile. "I love you, Sunshine Harvest..." Sunshine let out a sharp breath. "I... I love you too, Dennis..." Then, Dennis leaned forward and began licking her cheek. "Oh... D-Dennis... That's... Whoa..." Dennis licked up and down Sunshine's cheek. Sunshine turned her head, but Dennis began licking the opposite cheek. "Dennis... This is kinda weird..." Dennis was licking her more aggressively now, all over Sunshine's face. "D-Dennis... No! Stop, Dennis!" ***Part 4: Rude Awakenings*** "D-Dennis... No! Stop, Dennis!" Sunshine bolted upright, and she came face to face with a small dog. She was small, and brown with spots of white. The dog wagged her tail happily. She leaned forward and began licking Sunshine's face affectionately. "Uhg... No! Get- Get off!" The dog whimpered before jumping over the side of the bed. Sunshine raised her sleeve to her face and began wiping away the saliva that had accumulated. With most of her face dry, Sunshine began taking in her surroundings. She eyed the crystalline walls, which glittered and sparkled in the light that entered through the window. Then, she noticed the shape of the room. The base was a circle, but the walls arched upward into a dome shape. The walls met at the ceiling. In the center, a glistening chandler descended. "Whoa..." Sunshine muttered softly as her eyes wandered. Her gaze eventually stopped on a table next to the bed. There sat a transparent glass of crystal clear water. Only after seeing the water did Sunshine realize how thirsty she was. She quickly picked up the glass and emptied it in several large gulps. "Do you need more?" Sunshine jumped and nearly dropped the glass. She quickly looked towards the door. An equine figure stood by the open door. She looked not dissimilar to a horse, but the basic shape was where the similarities ended. Unlike a horse, the figure by the door was purple. She had a pair of purple wings on her back and a purple horn sprouting from her forehead. Her Kane and tail were dark with purple and pink streaks. Sunshine looked at the figure with confusion and disbelieve. "You don't... recognize me?" The mare asked. "It's me, Sunshine, Twilight." "Tw-Twilight?" Sunshine gasped. "You... You're..." The mare smiled and stepped towards the bed. "This is me, Sunshine." She said with a smile. "This is what I normally look like, but you... You haven't changed a bit..." Sunshine looked down at her arms, her human arms. "You're still the same..." Twilight said as she looked over Sunshine's body. "Very interesting... How are you feeling?" Her memory was fuzzy and broken, but Sunshine remembered the pain. "I feel... sore..." Sunshine groaned as she held and arm over her abdomen. "Wha... What happened to me?" Twilight frowned and looked at the floor. "I... I'm not sure. The girls said you collapsed as soon as you came through the portal. Are you... in any pain?" Sunshine shook her head. "Not really... My head hurts a little, though..." Twilight bit her lower lip. "Sorry... That might have been out fault. Rainbow Dash tried to carry you here all by herself, and she dropped you about four feet off of the ground..." Hearing the word 'dropped' made the throbbing pain in the back of Sunshine's head hurt even more. "I'm sorry..." Twilight apologized again. "This wasn't how I wanted this to go at all... We were supposed to meet at Sugarcube Corner for lunch with the Cakes..." Sunshine shifted her legs and tried to climb out of the bed. "Whoa... Easy there, Sunshine." Twilight cautioned. "I don't want to risk you getting hurt again. Your mother would not be happy..." "I'm fine, Twilight..." Sunshine groaned. "I... I gotta get up... I can't feel my legs anymore..." With a little help from the princess, Sunshine managed to get on her own two feet. Sunshine let out a satisfied sigh as she felt blood flow returning to her legs. "Are you hungry?" Twilight asked her. A loud growl from Sunshine's stomach answered Twilight's question for her, and the princess chuckled. "Very well... Let's go see if the girls are still up for a trip to Sugarcube Corner." Sunshine Harvest braved a smile as she shakily followed Twilight out of the bed room and into the Crystal Palace. ***Up Next: Tour De Equestria*** > Chapter 3: Tour De Equestria > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ***Part 1: The Other Mother*** Everywhere in the palace Twilight Sparkle took her, Sunshine's jaw dropped in awe. Together, they travled down a large corridor leading into a common. One end opened up into a larger central room while the other lead to a set of large doors. Twilight turned right and began walking towards the large room, and Sunshine followed close behind her. "They're just in here." Twilight said excitedly. "They're all very eager to meet you." "Wha-What?" Sunshine asked. "Who?" Twilight just smiled and motioned for Sunshine to enter. Sunshine hesitated for a brief moment, but her legs eventually began moving her forward. Sunshine walked slowly until she passed through the open doors and into the large room. Her eyes darted around the room, trying to take in everything at once. The first thing she noticed was the tree roots above her head and the glistening gems hanging from its limbs. Her gaze lowered until it reached a large, round table at the center of the room. Around the table stood six throne-like seats, all made of crystal, like the rest of the palace. At last, her eyes landed on a group of ponies, all ranging from a variety of different colors. One of them, a white unicorn turned and saw her. The unicorn's face broke into a grin. "Ah! Girls, she's awake!" A shadow passed over Sunshine. She looked up to see a blue pegasus looming over her. "Whoa! So, you're Sunshine, huh?" She asked. "Real cool to meet ya'. I'm Rainbow Dash." Sunshine looked at the mare's extended hoof, and she frowned suspiciously. She had heard that name recently, and hearing it made the back of her head throb in pain. So not as to offend the pegasus, Sunshine carefully wrapped her fingers around Rainbow Dash's hoof and shook it. A pink mare stepped forward next. Bounced forward, actually, as though she were on a trampoline. "Wowie! I've never seen anything quite like you before! I'm Pinkie Pie, and you must be Sunshine!" "U-Um... Hello..." Sunshine managed to say. Pinkie Pie looked as though she was about to say more, or... explode with excitement, but an orange pony intervened. "Oh... Leave the poor thing be, Pinkie Pie..." The mare said as she stepped inbetween them. "She's not in the mood for your shenanigans." Sunshine gasped. She knew that voice. It was one she heard every day. It was a voice that she loved, one that raised her. "Ap-Applejack?" She asked. The orange mare cocked her head. "I don't wanna sound impolite or nothin', but have we met?" Twilight was quick to step forward. "Sunshine, this is your mother's pony counterpart. She's not the Applejack from your world." "Oh... Right..." Sunshine said softly, her cheeks burning red. "It's... nice to meet you." Her horn began to glow a sickly green color, signaling her embarrassment. Applejack smiled at her warmly. "I may not be your mother, but as far as I'm concerned, I don't have to be for ya' to be family." Sunshine beamed at the orange mare before throwing her arms around her neck. Startled and unsure of what to do, Applejack put a hoof around's Sunshine's back and returned the embrace. Several moments later, Twilight cleared her throat, getting Sunshine's attention. "Well... You've met Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Applejack... That's Fluttershy..." The yellow pegasus waved before hiding behind her pink mane. "Rarity..." The white unicorn gave her a sly smile and a 'wink'. "And this is Starlight Glimmer." Another unicorn stepped forward. "It's a pleasure." Said Starlight. "I... couldn't help noticing your horn, the... the glowing... Is the glow and the different colors tied to your emotions?" "It is, Starlight." Twilight answered for Sunshine. "I know... Such a trait is most rare in unicorns. Chances of this kind of ability are less than one in a million." Starlight eyed Sunshine's horn with awe. "That's... That's incredible. I'll bet this Sunset Shimmer must feel very proud." Sunshine felt a strange hint of discomfort, but not in the usual way. Normally, when people focused on her horn and the glowing it made, they mocked her and called her a freak. It was a strange, new sensation, the compliments and amazement. Sunshine opened her mouth as though she was about to speak, but her stomach erupted into a series of violent growls. "I... think that's our que..." Twilight said with a chuckle. "Come on, girls. Who's ready for lunch at the Hayseed Diner?" The mares cheered as Sunshine's stomach growled again. *So... hungry...* She thought to herself. *Why am I so hungry?* ***Part 2: Ponyville*** When she took her first steps outside of the Crystal Palace and into the pony world, Sunshine was blown away by everything she saw. To her left and right, rolling green fields stretched on for as far as she could see. In the far distance, perched on the side of a tall mountain, a glistening city stood alert. "Is that... Canterlot?" Sunshine asked with awe in her voice. Twilight smiled and nodded her head. "That's right. Princess Celestia and Princess Luna rule Equestria from there. They are actually on their way here to meet you." Sunshine's eyes widened. "R-Really? The princesses want to meet me?" They had reached the outskirts of Ponyville now, and Sunshine had already begun to turn heads. Ponies looked on with amazement at the human hybrid walking beside the princess. "Of course." Twilight continued. "Everypony wants to meet you. You're a bit of a celebrity." Everywhere she looked, Sunshine saw smiles and friendly faces. She forced herself to crack a smile, and she waved to them. The ponies happily waved back, leaving Sunshine with a warm feeling in her chest. After only a few minutes of walking through the heart of Ponyville, they arrived at their destination. The Hayseed Diner Sunshine look a quick glimps at a menu sitting on one of the outside tables and frowned with uncertainty. "Come on, Sunshine, you're part pony aren't you?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Give it a try." The closest thing on the menu the resembled anything from the human world was a simple salad. The rest looked foreign to Sunshine. Sunshine's thoughts turned to Joe's place. She instantly missed her steak and baked potatoes. "Right..." Sunshine muttered. "I'll just... get a... salad..." The waiter in the window nodded his head. "Of course, Miss Harvest." He said with a bow. Sunshine waited to the side as the rest of the mane six placed their orders. Her eyes began to wander again. She looked around the diner's tables until she saw a little purple dragon with green scales sitting down. She watched the dragon with interest as he ate what appeared to be a plate full of hay. The dragon saw her looking and waved, wearing a huge smile. "That's Spike, my assistant." Twilight said from behind her. "He's saving places for us." With all of their orders placed, Sunshine and the mares joined Spike at the table. "Hey, Twilight!" Spike said. "Who's your new friend?" "Spike, this is Sunshine Harvest, Sunset Shimmer's daughter." Twilight introduced her. "She's the one I tutored in the human world." The dragon beamed at her and extended his claws. "It's nice to meet you." He said politely. Sunshine couldn't help smiling back as she shook his claws. She took an instant liking to the little dragon. "Are there... more of you? Dragons, I mean." Sunshine asked. "Of course!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed. "But none of them are nearly as cool as Spike." Rarity nodded her head in agreement. "Well spoken, Rainbow Dash. Well spoken, indeed. Though, that Ember wasn't all that bad, not like the rest of those brutes." Sunshine watched the conversation like a tennis match. She could hardly understand most of what they were talking about, but it sounded like quite an adventure. At last, the waiter arrived with their orders, and a large salad bowl was promptly placed in front of Sunshine, who eyed the food hungrily. Sunshine picked up her fork and stabbed it into the leaves, and she lifted the fork up towards her mouth. Just before the fork could pass her lips, a sharp pain tore through her abdomen, and Sunshine cried out a painful howl. ***Up Next: The Stowaway*** > Chapter 4: The Stowaway > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ***Part 1: Ponyville General*** Sunshine's vision faded on several occasions of the journey to the infirmary. All around her, she could hear nurses and doctors shouting orders and telling each other to prepare certain medical equipment. "M-Mom..." Sunshine groaned, holding tightly onto her abdomen. Sunshine watched the lights above fly past her as she was wheeled down a long corridor. She could see Twilight Sparkle out of the corner of what remained of her limited vision. She was walking beside the gurney. "Twilight..." Sunshine held out a shaking hand to the princess. "Just... Just hold on, Sunshine. Everything will be fine." Twilight said quickly, pushing Sunshine's hand back towards her. Sunshine's vision began to fade again. "She's losing conciseness!" A nurse shouted. "Get her to the emergence ward, now!" ***Part 2: The Situation*** "How is she, doctor?" "We are still running tests to find out what caused her to collapse. Please, stay out of the ward until we are finished." *Silence* "Nurse Redheart, have the scans returned yet?" "Nothing yet, sir. The tech staff is still running tests." *Silence* "Her pulse is accelerating, but she still seems to be unconscious. Keep a close eye on her temperature, and keep her pulse down." "Doctor, she's losing blood. It's coming from... her... Oh, Celestia..." *Silence* "Yes! Please, hurry! Get more towels. Soak them in warm water." "Sir, Doctor Silvershield is here to see the patient." *Silence* "Are you certain, doctor? Is... something like this even possible?" "I have no better explanation. Inform Princess Twilight." *Silence* "That's right, Princess Twilight... It is still to early to tell for sure, but we believe she may be-" "I don't care about that. Just tell me she is going to be alright." *Silence* "The bleeding has stopped, and her heart rate is down to normal levels. She should wake up in an hour or so." "Good... That's good... Oh, Sunshine... What is happening to you..." *Silence* ***Part 2: Wet Dreams*** "We're not done, yet..." Sunshine growled. "Not until I get what I want..." Dennis, still catching his breath, nodded his head uneasily. He watched as Sunshine lowered herself down onto his cock. "Mmmmm... Yesssss..." She purred as the member dissapeared inside her. *I hate you, for making me feel this way!* Sunshine moaned sweetly as she lifted herself up and lowered herself back down onto Dennis' cock again and again. Dennis grinned as he watched Sunshine ride his member. His eyes quickly fell to her breasts, which were bouncing wildly in every direction. Sunshine noticed the hungry look in his eyes, and she gave him a sexy smirk. "Use your... words, Dennis..." She groaned, leaning forward so her breasts were hanging above Dennis' face. "If you want them, just ask..." "I'll try to remember that..." Dennis muttered before taking her left nipple in his mouth. Like a hungry baby, Dennis suckled Sunshine's left breast while his free hand played with the other, pinching her nipple and groping the mound of flesh. Sunshine bit her lower lip. "Mmmm... Dennissssss..." Sunshine was ready. One final effort was all that remained. *Let's finish this...* *** "I... I think I'm close..." "Do it, Dennis!" Sunshine hissed. "C-Cum for me..." Dennis, now back on top, pushed his cock on and out of Sunshine at an aggressive pace. Sunshine arched her back and embraced the hot sensations of sex. She wanted every moment to count. At last, Dennis let out a long groan as he reached his peak, releasing his cum deep inside of Sunshine's girlhood. Sunshine threw her arms around Dennis and pulled the boy into a deep kiss while his member continued to fill her womb. Moments later, the kiss ended, and Dennis' flaccid member fell out of Sunshine's slit, which was now dripping with his cum. Both stayed in their positions, unmoving and basking in the afterglow of the sex they just shared. "Dennis..." Sunshine said softly. "Y-Yeah?" Dennis asked, breathing heavily. Sunshine bit her lip and looked up into his shining, green eyes. "I love you." ***Part 3: Big News*** Sunshine Harvest felt a terrible pain in her chest. Her eyes fluttered open, and she was immediately blinded by the bright lights above her. The room was quiet. Everywhere she looked, it was clean and white. *I... I'm in a hospital... W-Why...* She thought to herself. Sunshine tried to sit upright only to fall back into the fluffy mattress she was laying on. Her hand absentmindedly rubbed her belly as she gazed out the window across from the bed. At last, the door opened. "Oh, thank Celestia..." Twilight Sparkle said with a sigh of relief. "How... How are you feeling?" "Not good..." Sunshine admitted somberly. "Everything hurts..." The sound of hooves clopping against the tile floor rang in Sunshine's ears as Twilight approached the bed. "Do you need anything, any food?" Twilight asked. "You were out for quite a while..." At the mention of 'food', Sunshine realized she had no appetite. She thought she should be hungry, starving even, but she had no desire to eat. "No..." Sunshine groaned. Twilight frowned. "You have to eat something." Twilight said. "Human are meat eaters. Ponies are vegetarian, but we can get you meat from the griffins." "I'm not hungry." Sunshine protested. Twilight placed a firm hoof on Sunshine's shoulder, getting her attention. "You may not want to eat, but the baby inside of you needs to." Sunshine's heart leaped into her throat. "Yes..." Twilight said, reading Sunshine's expression. "You're pregnant, Sunshine. You have a baby growing inside of you." Sunshine was speechless. Her horn began to glow a dark blue, signaling her shock and fear. "Who is the father, Sunshine?" Twilight asked, her voice dead serious. Sunshine didn't answer. She simply looked down at the bed sheets covering her lap. "Sunshine, this is very important. I need you to answer me." Twilight said sternly. "Who... got you pregnant?" Sunshine's lip trembled. She recalled her first kiss, many weeks ago, and the events that followed that kiss. "It was... Dennis..." Sunshine muttered. "Dennis?" Twilight asked? "Your human friend?" Sunshine nodded her head, her eyes flooding with tears. Twilight let out a long sigh. "Well... That explains most of... this..." Sunshine looked at her with a broken and confused look. "Allow me to explain." Twilight said. "When you came through the portal, you did not change, because you are a hybrid being, part human and part pony. When a pony travles through the portal, it becomes human and when a human travles through the portal, it then becomes a pony." Sunshine was following, but not easily. "You may be part pony, but you are mostly human. That means when you mated with Dennis, a human, he planted is human seed inside of you. In the human world, you were growing a human fetus inside of you." Sunshine nodded her head uneasily. "When you travled through the portal..." Twilight continued. "You did not change, but the fetus inside of you did..." Sunshine's heart stopped. "The fetus growing inside of you is not human, Sunshine." Twilight said sadly. "It's a pony." Sunshine looked towards the window, then towards the door. She quickly tried to stand up, only to fall back into the bed again. "I... I need to get home..." Sunshine gasped. "Help me up..." Twilight did not move to help her. "I'm sorry, Sunshine, but you cannot leave." "Wh-What? Why?" Sunshine demanded. "You cannot keep me here!" Twilight held up her hoof, silencing Sunshine. "For the baby's safety as well as your own, you must stay in Equestria. If you travle through the portal again, you will not only risk you own life, but the fetus will surly die. The fetus suffered severe trauma transforming the first time you entered Equestria. Going through the portal will no doubt have worse consequences." Sunshine closed her eyes, and she began to cry. It began softly at first, but the trickle of tears quickly became a flood, and her soft whimpering erupted into hysterical screaming. Twilight placed a comforting hoof on Sunshine's shoulder, and Sunshine threw her arms around the princess, embracing her tightly. "It will be alright, Sunshine..." Twilight said softly. "You'll see..." ***Up Next: Sunset's Return*** > Chapter 5: Sunset's Return > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ***Part 1: Mommy Dearest*** Sunshine gazed out of the window from the comfort of her bed. All the while she watched birds on the tree outside, her hand caressed her belly. *Pregnant...* The word echoed through Sunshine's thoughts. *You're pregnant... Dennis... got you pregnant...* The majority of Sunshine's being was terrified, but a very small fraction felt... happy. She loved Dennis. She truly loved him. Whenever Sunshine's thoughts returned to Dennis and the baby growing within her womb, her heart leaped in her chest. "Dennis..." Sunshine whispered. "So... It's true, then?" Sunshine gasped and looked towards the door. She didn't even notice anypony walking inside, but a pony stood in front of her bed. She had a creamy, yellow coat and a bright red and yellow mane that looked like flames of the sun. The unicorn cocked her head. "Mom?" Sunshine asked, looking closely at the pony. The unicorn cracked a small smile and nodded her head. "Yeah, baby... It's me." She said softly. "It's... been a while since I've been in this... body..." Sunshine reached forward and placed a hand on her mother's mane. Sunset chuckled and nuzzled her daughter's neck. When she pulled away, her warm smile faded. "You didn't answer..." Sunset said. "Is it really true? Dennis... He..." Sunshine slowly nodded her head. Sunset Shimmer let out a long sigh and placed a gentle hoof on Sunshine's abdomen. "Twilight explained everything..." Sunset said, rubbing Sunshine's belly. "She told me that you have a... a pony inside of you..." "Mom, I'm so sorry-" Sunset shot Sunshine a mean glare, quickly silencing her. "This was supposed to be a short trip, Sunshine." Sunset snarled. "Twilight said you'll have to give birth to your baby here, in Equestria. Your baby will be an Equestrian pony, and you will have to stay to raise it." Sunshine's heart tore itself apart. Sweet Apple Acres, Applejack, Bic Mac, Dennis... She wouldn't be able to see them for... Who knows how long. Sunset saw the pain in Sunshine's eyes, and her glare softened. She let out a heaving sigh. "Pony pregnancies last for roughly eight months..." Sunset said softly. "You'll be here for at least a year, until your baby is strong enough to come to the human world through the portal..." "A year..." Sunshine muttered in disbelief. "A whole year..." Several long moments of silence passed inbetween the mother and daughter. Words expressing the situation could not be formed of spared. The silence is interrupted by the arrival of a nurse. The nurse eyed Sunset Shimmer carefully. "Um... Excuse me, ma'am, you cannot be in here while-" "Don't bother." Sunset snapped. "She's my daughter, and I'll be by her side of I damn well please." The nurse glared at Sunset before retreating from the ward. "Wow, mom..." Sunshine chuckled. "That was... pretty hardcore." Sunset brushed her mane out of her eyes and beamed at her. "I should probably leave soon... Princess Celestia doesn't exactly know I am here..." Sunset admitted. "Why does that matter?" Sunshine asked. Sunset shook her head dismissively. "That's not important. I only needed to see you for myself, Sunshine. Now that I have, we'll be on our way." Sunshine cocked her head. "We?" She asked quizzically. Sunset gave her a silly look before making her way towards the door. She opened the door and motioned for somepony to enter. Sunshine watched as a steel colored unicorn with a blond mane and tail walked into the room. When the pony saw Sunshine, his eyes widened, and a huge smile overtook his lips. "Sunshine!" He exclaimed. Sunshine's jaw dropped as the identity of the unicorn dawned on her. "Dennis?!" She gasped, sitting up in her bed. Sunshine's horn began glowing a hot pink hue. The pony rushed forward to Sunshine's side. Sunshine, still in disbelief, caressed the unicorn's cheeks and stroked his mane. "Look... Look at you..." Sunshine muttered. "You're a..." "I'm a pony..." Dennis finished for her. He made a face as though the words he spoke sounded strange coming out of his own mouth. Sunshine began to laugh hysterically at her boyfriend's new look. "Ahhhh! Ha! Ha! Ha! You're... Ha! You're a unicorn! Ha! That's... That's incredible!" At last, Sunshine turned to her mother, her eyes filled with joyful tears. "How?" She asked. "How did you do this?" Sunset gave her a sly grin. "Never you mind that. I just thought you two would want a few moments together before... your time apart..." Sunshine smiled sadly. "Thank you..." Sunset nodded her head before stepping outside the room, leaving Dennis and Sunshine alone. Dennis placed a gentle hoof on Sunshine's abdomen and caressed her. "That's me... Isn't it?" He asked. "This is really happening?" Sunshine nodded her head. "Yes, Dennis... I'm pregnant... It's yours..." The smile on Dennis' snout stretched from ear to ear. He leaned across the bed and planted a hot kiss on her lips. "Oh, Dennis..." Sunshine muttered when he pulled away, cupping his cheeks in her hands. "I love you..." Sunshine then pulled the pony back into a wet, tongue-filled kiss. The kiss broke with them both breathing heavily, wiping the saliva from their lips. "Dennis..." Sunset hissed from the door. "We need to go, now!" Dennis quickly retreated to the door. He looked back at Sunshine one last time and mouthed the words 'I love you' before Sunset took him by the hoof and pulled him into the hall. Sunset poked her head into the room. "I'll see you around, baby." She said with a subtle 'wink'. With those words hanging in the air, Sunset and Dennis dissapeared from sight. Moments later, the nurse returned to the room. Behind her stood Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. When they entered the ward, the nurse wore a confused look. "There was another mare here..." The nurse explained to the princesses. "She claimed to be the patient's mother." Princess Celestia waved her hoof dismissively. "That is quite alright. Thank you for your assistance. May we be alone with Miss Sunshine?" The nurse bowed and left without another word. Celestia turned her attention to Sunshine. She wore a warm, friendly smile. "You are the special girl I have heard so much about..." She said in a motherly tone. "I must say, it is a pleasure to finally meet you." Sunshine couldn't help returning the princess' smile. Her voice was so warm and soothing, Sunshine felt at ease immediately. "And such incredible news..." Celestia continued. "You must have had quite the exciting morning." "Incredible, indeed..." Luna added. "You have my congratulations, Miss Sunshine." Sunshine blushed timidly. "Th-Thank you both..." She said in a soft tone. Celestia's smile turned somber, and her gaze lowered. "I am sorry to hear that you cannot return home to deliver your child, I truly am." Said the elder princess. "When I learned you were going to be a guest in my country, I envisioned our first meeting going quite differently." "Yeah..." Sunshine groaned as she shifted in her bed. "Me too..." Celestia managed a smile before continuing. "I admire your determination. You truly are your mother's daughter." Sunshine looked at the princess with wide eyes. "You knew my mom?" Celestia nodded her head. "I did, many years ago. She was an ambitious student of mine. I... forget most of the details. It has been quite a long time." Sunshine could tell the princess didn't want to talk about it any longer. "Anyway..." Celestia continued, clearing her throat. "You are still a revered guest in my country, and I will ensure to the full extent of my power that your stay here adequate to your needs." "Should there be anything you need, do not hesitate to ask for it." Said Luna. Sunshine nodded her head. "And should you need anything from the the human world, Twilight Sparkle will be more than happy to travle there and get it for you." Celestia added. "What about Dennis?" Sunshine asked. "He... He's the father... Can he visit regularly?" Celestia and Luna exchanged glances. After several moments, they both turned back to face Sunshine. "Of course." Celestia said at last. "This... Dennis is more than welcome." Satisfied, Sunshine fell back into her bed and let out a long breath. "Thank you..." She said with an exhausted sigh. "Thank... you..." Then, Sunshine drifted away into a restful sleep. ***Up Next: Trial By Motherhood*** > The End: Trial By Motherhood > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ***Part 1: Push! Push! Push!*** *Eight Months Later* Sunshine Harvest arched her back and let out a monstrous roar. Tears flooded her eyes and streamed down her cheeks, dripping off of her chin and onto her shirt. She cried and howled, baring her teeth. "Damn you, Dennis!" She snarled at the unicorn next to her. "Damn you! This is your fault!" Dennis shot the nurse a terrified look. The nurse simply smiled. "She's experiencing severe agitation, due to the pain." The nurse explained. "I don't think she really means that..." "You did this to me! You will suffer for this!" Sunshine screamed at him. Her horn was shining brightly, lighting the entire ward in a dark red hue. "Offer her your hoof." The nurse suggested. Dennis did as she told him, and he placed his hoof next to Sunshine's hand on the bed. Sunshine immediately took the hoof in her fingers and squeezed it tightly, causing Dennis to let out a pained groan. "AAAAAAAHHHHHH!" She shrieked as loudly as her lungs would allow. "You're doing great, Miss Sunshine." The nurse said encouragingly. "Keep it up." Sunshine turned to face Dennis. She had a fire in her eyes, and her face was filled with pain and agony. "De-Dennis..." She stuttered. "Te-Tell me... me a st-story..." Sunshine let out a groan and squeezed his hoof even tighter, causing Dennis to wince painfully. "Um... Alright..." He muttered before clearing his throat. "A... A long time ago, back at Canterlot High... I had a crush on this... this girl..." Sunshine made a pained expression, but she bit her lower lip to keep herself from screaming and interrupting him. "She was... a very special girl, because, unlike other girls, she had... powers, magic... My friends, they didn't like her. They... distrusted her, because she wasn't normal... I was afraid of being... outcasted by my friends, so I... joined them in their... teasing of the girl..." Sunshine bit her lower lip until she could taste blood. "I just didn't know how to... to tell the girl how I really felt about her... It wasn't until I actually talked to the girl that... that I knew I was in love with her... She had everything I wanted... Beautiful looks, a quirky sense of humor, a great taste in food..." Dispite all of the agony, Sunshine's lips curled into a weak smile. "Now, that girl is... squeezing the life out of me, trying to deliver a baby we made together..." "Right... I'm going to need you to push, now, Miss Sunshine." The nurse ordered. "Push, now!" Sunshine let out a high-pitched scream, deafening Dennis and the nurse. "That's it, Miss Sunshine!" The nurse exclaimed. "Again! One more push!" Sunshine screamed to the point of blacking out as she pushed the pony out of her womb. When Sunshine's screams fell silent, a new screeching echoed through the ward, the cries of a newborn pony. "He's a unicorn!" The nurse said happily. "Your little colt is a unicorn!" Sunshine looked half dead, but with help from Dennis, she managed to sit upright. "Give me... my baby..." She said in a rough voice. The nurse wasn't one to argue, and she quickly passed the little colt along to Sunshine. Sunshine's eyes filled with joyful tears as she held the little colt wrapped in cloth. A unicorn, he was. Like his father, he had a dark, steel-colored coat. Like his mother, his mane was a firy red. "He's... beautiful..." Sunshine cried, nuzzling the little colt. Dennis was speechless. His throat choked as he tried to hold back his tears. Dispite his best efforts, Dennis's eyes flooded like a broken dam. "I can't believe it..." He muttered softly. "We... We're parents..." He leaned in towards the colt closely. "Hey there, little guy..." Dennis said in a 'baby' voice. Sunshine pulled Dennis' face towards her own, and she placed a loving kiss on his snout. "Thank you..." She whispered into his ear. "I... I'm so happy..." Dennis smiled and kissed her on the cheek. They sat there together, holding the newborn colt. Now, a mother and a father, a family. ***Part 2: Seeing Double*** Several minutes later, the family and friends were aloud to enter the ward to see the new parents and their little pony. It was a lot of family and friends... From the human world, Sunset Shimmer, Applejack, Big Mac, Apple Bloom, Principal Celestia, Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy had journeyed through the portal to see the baby. Even Dennis' father was with them. He wasn't happy about being a pony, but he kept his complaints to himself for the sake of his son. Needless to say, Sunshine was a bit confused when she woke up to two of everyone she knew standing around the bed. "What's his name?" Sunset asked softly. Everypony else eagerly nodded their heads. They all wanted to know the newborn colt's name. Sunshine and Dennis exchanged glances. "I think..." Sunshine said slowly. "We have decided to name him... Summerset Shimmer, after you, mom..." Sunset blinked back her tears as she nodded her head. "That's so sweet..." Both Twilights said in unison. Captain Simco grumbled something inaudible, but no pony paid him any attention. All focus in the room was trained on the little colt, Summerset Shimmer. The little pony squeaked a yawn and rolled over in his mother's arms, extracting adoring 'awe's from everypony. "I think we should leave them alone for a little while..." Princess Celestia suggested. With the nurse's help, everypony except for Sunset Shimmer, her wife, Applejack, and Simco was forced from the ward. After a few moments of silence, Sunset was the first to speak. "I can't believe I'm a grandmother..." She said with a light chuckle. "Thanks for making me feel old." Sunshine smiled and caressed her little colt. "What can I say, mom?" She asked, looking over at Dennis. "I guess it just... runs in the family..." "What do you think, dad?" Dennis asked his father. Simco approached the bed and eyed the little colt suspiciously. Summerset looked back at him, eyes wide with wonder. Simco let out a sigh and managed a smile. "I think... you two did a great job." He said softly. "You'll make good parents..." "I couldn't agree with ya' more..." Applejack said with a huge smile. "I'm so proud of ya', Sunshine..." Sunshine beamed proudly. "Thank you, Momma Applejack." Sunset turned to her wife and Simco, and she motioned her towards the door. "We'll be just outside." She said to Sunshine, who nodded her head. When they were alone with their baby, Dennis let out a soft chuckle. "What's so funny?" Sunshine asked him. "Oh... No-Nothing..." Dennis lied, still chuckling. "I... I just never thought I'd be a father before I got married..." Sunshine frowned and looked at the sleeping colt in her arms. "I meant to ask you something about that..." Sunshine said softly. "I was going to wait, but I guess now is as good of a time as any..." Dennis' eyes widened. "You really want to-" "Yes..." Sunshine cut him off. "I... I want to marry you... Back home, of course. We could get Rarity to make you a nice suit, and Pinkie Pie could help with a big cake... I know it's a lot to ask for, but I really love you, and I just thought-" Sunshine's rambling was silenced by Dennis' lips pressing against her own. When he pulled away, several moments later, his expression was stone and serious. "Yes." He said at last. "Yes, Sunshine, I'll marry you..." Sunshine closed her eyes as Dennis kissed her full on the lips. Without breaking the kiss, he climbed into the bed with her and Summerset, and he held them both in his hooves. Sunshine didn't know what the future would bring, but she did know she could count on her friends and loved ones to help her through everything life offered. Her greatest adventure was over, perhaps, but the ride was only just beginning. ***The End*** ***Credits*** *The Waffen Pony Writing Team* Waffen Pony: Creator and Writer Boulder: Honorary Member (Editor) *Biggest Fans* harts fire Valiant Charge BMmeister2 Epic_Flapper Trave *Special Thanks* Boulder: Thank you for leaving those helpful comments so pesky errors could be corrected. Shorts are coming!* > Epilogue: Cold Hooves > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ***Cold Hooves*** "Bbbthhbbt!" That was the closest Summerset could get to forming complete words. The little colt was only six months old, after all, but he was already up and about, walking in circles on his four little hooves. "Come here, you..." Sunshine said as she walked after her baby. "Come back to mommy..." Today was the big day, one Sunshine had been looking forward to ever since she first entered Equestria, over a year ago. Summerset was now big enough to travle through the portal with her and transform into a human infant on the other side. At last, Sunshine caught up to her son, and she lifted him up into her arms. Still in a playful mood, Summerset nuzzled his mother's chin and hit his free hoof against her breasts. Sunshine beamed at him and placed a loving kiss on the tip of his snout. Summerset let out a series of delighted giggles and unaudible baby babble. "Thbbbbbt!" Sunshine laughed and playfuly poked the little unicorn's tummy. "Very good, Summer... Who's Momma's clever boy?" In response, Summerset squealed with delight. Sunshine was having such a fun time playing wth her son that she did not notice the pony approaching her from behind. "Ehem!" Twilight cleared her throat subtlety. "How's the little guy doing?" "He's having the time of his life." Sunshine assured the princess. "Do you want to join us?" Twilight smiled, but she shook her head. "I'm afraid I cannot. The final preparations for your return to the human world needs all of my attention. I just came by to make sure you are... ready to leave." Sunshine smiled sadly, and she looked down at the colt on her arms. "It's what you've wanted since you arrived, right?" Twilight asked. Sunshine nodded her head slowly. In truth, Sunshine had grown quite fond of Equestria in the past year she had been there. Celebrated, revered, adored, Sunshine walked around Ponyville like a celebrity. She liked the positive attention, but she especially liked the normality of magic. In the human world, Sunshine was the outcast, the freak, as some used to call her... But in Equestria, Sunshine was as normal as every other unicorn, with the exception of her having two legs and no hooves. Now, when Sunshine could finally return to the human world, her home, she wasn't entirely sure it was what she really wanted. "Yes..." She said softly. "But... Is it really safe? I mean, is Summerset really strong enough to handle a transformation? What if something bad happens to him?" Twilight chuckled and shook her head. "Sunshine, I can promise you that Summerset will be perfectly fine. In the human world, he will be a healthy, six month-old boy." "But... The... The portal hurt him before... What if the effects are different this time?" Twilight frowned. "What is this about Sunshine?" She asked her. "Before, leaving was all you wanted. Why are you so afraid of leaving, now?" Sunshine remained silent, looking at the baby in her arms. Summerset cooed softly and batted at his mother's hair. Twilight smiled softly and placed a gentle hoof on Sunshine's shoulder. "Sunshine... If you want to stay in Equestria, you only have to say so..." Sunshine finally met Twilight's gaze, and her eyes flooded with tears. "I... I do..." Sunshine admitted at last. "I want to raise Summerset here... as a pony... And... And Dennis... I want to marry him here too. I want to start my family here..." Twilight Sparkle beamed, her smile stretching wide across her face. "That's... That's wonderful, Sunshine." The princess said, almost speechless. "I'm sure your mother will approve, as well. I'll write to her immediately." Twilight then galloped away. The sound of her hooves clopping against the hard floors of the Crystal Palace echoed through the corridor. Sunshine let out a sigh of relief as she looked little colt in the eyes. "Well... It's looks like your going to stay a little pony, my little pony..." "Thbbububttt." Sunshine laughed. "Hmmm... Is that so? That's one crazy story, little guy... I can't wait for daddy to hear it..." Dennis, her fiancé, was on the other side of the portal, waiting for her. Sunshine hoped he would get the news that she wanted to stay, and that he would agree to join her. Sunshine wasn't worried. Of course, he would join her. She knew that little stud would leap through the portal to be with her and Summerset without giving it a second thought. *Mmm... I love him so much...* She thought to herself. Sunshine carefully set her little colt on the ground and let him walk on his own. Summerset was eager to get moving, but he stayed close to his mother's feet. *Our wedding plans would have to change...* Her mind wandered on. *The location... The dress... The cake... Guests... Flowers...* The list continued to stack until Sunshine got a terrible headache. "M-Mmmma! Mmmma!" Summerset squealed, hitting her shoes with his hooves. "Mmmaaama!" Sunshine's eyes widened, and she let out a sharp breath. She quickly descended to her knees and lifted the little colt into her lap. "Did you just..." She gasped. "Say that again!" "Mmmma!" The colt shouted proudly. Sunshine's heart exploded out of her chest. "Yes!" She shouted before kissing Summerset on his little lips. "He said 'Mama'! Or... He got close, at least... But that still counts!" "Maama! Maama!" Summerset continued to shout, obviously pleased with his new word. "Maaaaaaama!" Sunshine laughed hysterically until tears streamed down her cheeks. "That's right, cleaver boy! That's right! I'm your mama!" Sunshine quickly got to her feet. With Summerset in her arms, she took off down the corridor. *I gotta show Twilight!* *** > Short 1: Long Overdue > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ***One Last Ride: Short*** "Uhg!" Sunshine Harvest groaned, letting out a long sigh. "Finally! It's done..." The last moving box had been emptied and scraped. Everything Sunshine and Dennis needed from the human world was no in its new place on their home in Ponyville, a modest cottage down the street from Sugarcube Corner. It was a place Sunshine fell in love with the moment she saw it. With a little help from her friend, Princess Twilight, the home was hers. Using her horn, Sunshine levitated a kitchen cloth towards her and wiped the sweat from her brow. "Is it done?" A soft voice asked from behind her. Sunshine looked over her shoulder, and a smile broke across her lips. "Yeah... No thanks to you, stud." She said with a sly grin. Dennis rolled his eyes and chuckled. "I was busy..." He said. "... getting our son to go to sleep." "And you've done a marvelous job, sweetie." Sunshine said in a sarcastic tone. Then, Sunshine's smirk faded and was replaced by a softer, more lustful grin. "Now that the baby's asleep, how about we... you know..." Sunshine caressed Dennis' snout affectionately, causing the unicorn to blush uncontrollably.. "R-Really?" He asked. "Even though I'm a-" "Especially 'cause you're a pony..." Sunshine cut him off. "If you... catch my meaning..." Sunshine pulled him into a sweet kiss, catching Dennis off guard. The two lovers stumbled and fell clumsily onto the floor. Arms and legs became tangled. Hooves and hands explored the other's body, searching for the most private or areas. Sunshine chuckled sweetly as her fingers wrapped around the stallion's thick, meaty cock. "Hmmm... This is certainly an improvement..." She moan seductivly. "How about a test ride?" Sunshine moved her wrist in an 'up and down' motion, rubbing her fingers along the length of Dennis' breathtaking shaft. Dennis let out a loud moan only to have his cries of pleasure silenced by Sunshine's free hand. "Shhhh!" She hissed. "This is the first free night we have had since we moved in! Don't wake Summer up and ruin this!" Dennis nodded his head quickly and bit his lower lip to keep himself quiet as Sunshine resumed her sexual teasing. Wanting a little more than a sweaty hand, Sunshine lowered herself to the tip of Dennis' cock, and she playfuly kissed the tip. "Mmmm..." She moaned softly. "You even taste better..." Sunshine didn't want to waste another second on foreplay. She dove right in, taking the stallion's cock into her mouth... As much as she could fit, anyway... The tip of Dennis' member alone filled her mouth to the brim. Managing to get another half inch was an impossible task in itself. Sunshine quickly found herself gagging as a result of her attempt to pleasure Dennis orally, but that didn't discourage her. Sunshine knew exactly what she wanted, and she was going to get it. With her right hand, she furiously rubbed the shaft of Dennis' member while her mouth sucked on the tip. "Ah... Su-Sunshine..." Dennis moaned. "I... I'm getting..." Before Dennis could even finish his thought, he arrived at his peak. Thick loads of cum fired out of the tip of his member and into Sunshine's awaiting mouth. With wide eyes, Sunshine choked and gagged on the thick cum spraying out of Dennis' member. Like a fire hose, the cum sprayed out, soaking her chin and dripping onto her cleavage. "S-Sun... Sunshine?" Dennis asked. "Oh, wow... I... I'm so sorry... I just..." "Oh, shut up..." Sunshine groaned before licking around her lips and swallowing the cum. "You came straight down my throat..." Then, Sunshine gave Dennis a devilish grin, one that made Dennis unsure if he should be afraid or not. "I liked it..." Sunshine said, wiping more of the stallion's cum off of her cheek and nose and licking her fingers clean. Dennis let out a sigh of relief. "Such a dirty boy..." Sunshine purred. "... cumming all over your fiancé like that..." Sunshine tore her shirt open, exposing her breasts, still soaked with his cum. "Don't you know your supposed to get it all inside the lady's mouth?" Dennis looked in awe as Sunshine pressed her breasts against the shaft of his member. "Mmmm... You're still hard... I guess we'll just have to try again..." Rubbing Dennis' cock inbetween her breasts, Sunshine resumed suckling the tip. Like a broken faucet, cum leaked out of the tip only to be licked up and swallowed by Sunshine. "Mmm... I can feel your heart beat against mine..." Sunshine moaned sweetly. "Oh, Dennis... My love, Dennis..." "S-Sunshine..." Dennis groaned. "I... I can't hold it in..." Sunshine picked up the pace of her sexual onslaught, rubbing Dennis' member and squeezing it between her heavy breasts. "Don't hold it, Dennis..." Sunshine begged. "I want you to cum all over me... I want you to bathe me in your seed... Don't hold anything back, love..." Love The word echoed through Dennis' mind, shattering all holds on reality. Dennis cried out into the night as he reached his climax for the second time. His supply was emptied, all over Sunshine Harvest. Sunshine welcomed the shower of cum. She smiled as the creamy substance sprayed all over her face and her naked breasts. Sunshine opened her mouth wide, and welcomed the cum that filled her moth to the brim. She swallowed thick globs of Dennis' cum at a time, savoring every moment of the salty taste. Completely exhausted, Dennis collapsed on the floor. His chest rose and fell quickly and heavily. Sunshine grinned softly and joined him on the floor. "Thank you..." She whispered before giving the stallion a sweet kiss on the lips. "Bah!" Dennis protested, cringing at the taste of his own cum on Sunshine's lips. The two lovers stayed silent for several moments, enjoying the company of each other's body, but that moment was short lived. An infant's cry shattered the quiet, echoing through the house. "Damn..." Sunshine cursed. She sat upright and looked down at Dennis, but the stallion was in no shape to attend Summerset, much less walk. Sunshine kissed him on the cheek before standing up. "I'll go see Summer..." She said softly. "You... Just wait here." "Yeah..." Dennis moaned sleepily. "Yeah, baby... I'm not going anywhere..." Sunshine found her shirt and threw it over her shoulders. "Don't worry, baby..." She muttered to herself as she began walking down the hall, towards the source of the crying. "Mommy's coming..." *** > Short 2: Sunset's Amends > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ***One Last Ride: Short*** Princess Celestia sat quietly in her study. She looked up from her desk and out the nearest window, out into the night that covered Canterlot like a shroud. The soft glow of the moon kept her study well lit along side the candles by her desk. Using her horn, Celestia closed the forms on her desk and tucked them away within the drawers below, a chore that would have to wait until the morning. "Off to bed already? The life of a princess really is a dull one..." Celestia wasn't easily startled, but the silence breaking voice scared her. She looked towards her door to see a dark figure standing in her way. The figure stepped forward and into the dim light. "Sunset Shimmer..." Celestia let out a long breath. "I had seen you the day your daughter had her foal, but you dissapeared before I could speak to you..." Sunset kicked her hooves timidly and looked at the floor. "It wasn't exactly a good time..." Sunset said quietly. "And... Now is?" Celestia asked. "A good time, I mean." Former student and teacher stood in silence for several awkward moments. It was Sunset who broke the painful silence. "Sunshine and Dennis don't know I'm here." Sunset said at last, meeting Celestia's gaze. "I promised them I'd keep my distance... I'm only to visit on Christmas and Thanks Giving..." Celestia cocked her head curiously. "Christmas?" The princess asked. Sunset chuckled and shook her head. "Forget what I said about that." She said quickly. Celestia smiled and nodded her head. "Of course... Would you like a seat?" She asked, motioning her head towards an emptie chair. Sunset accepted her offer, and sat down. "I can have us some coffee delivered, if you'd like." Celestia continued as she sat at her desk. Sunset shook her head. "Thank you, but I'll be alright..." She said politely. "I won't be staying long..." Celestia smiled warmly. "You've made quite a name for yourself, Sunset..." She said. "You've understood the value of friendship, married and settled down... Not to forget, you have a wonderful daughter, who now has a husband and a colt of her own." "Hmm... You should try having kids, Celestia." Sunset said with a light chuckle. "It's an unforgettable experience." Celestia's cheeks turned a pink hue, and her gaze turned to the endless forms on her desk. "Were I not a princess and a ruler of a country, I would certainly give it a try..." Celestia said softly. "Can you... tell me what it's like?" Sunset was a bit surprised by the question. "What... do you mean?" She asked. "Raising a child?" Celestia nodded her head. "Whew..." Sunset breathed heavily. "Well... Where do I begin? It's a lot of work, for one... Without Applejack and the rest of her family, I don't think I could have done nearly as well as I did with Sunshine. They helped a lot with the majority of the chores that come with raising a child." "Like what?" Celestia prodded. Sunset shrugged her shoulders. "The early years are the messiest, for sure... Cleaning up after her meals and 'accidents' gets a little tedious... Then, we always had to buy her clothes as she outgrew her old ones. We paid for her schooling and cared for her when she got sick or hurt, which happened very often..." "Hmm... That sounds almost as difficult as running a country..." Celestia said with a chuckle. Sunset cracked a smile. "You'd think so... As back-breaking as it was, I enjoyed every precious moment of it..." Sunset admitted. "There were the times when I felt being a mother was the greatest thing in the world... Now, those times are gone... I'm still a mother, but not the one I used to be. My baby is... She's not my baby anymore, is what I'm saying..." "Have you and your wife ever considered having another child?" Celestia asked. Sunset nodded her head and wiped a single tear from her eyes. "We have... Back when Chief was... still alive, we wanted to... have another... But we got to busy taking care of Sunshine, so we decided to wait until she was older and required a little less maternal matinance. By that time, Chief had already passed, so we were out of options. I didn't want to mate with another stallion from the stable, and I certainly didn't want a human male..." Celestia offered Sunset a tisue, which she took graciously. "Thank you..." Sunset said softly. "But... That was years ago... I've let go of the notion of... having another child..." Celestia offered her a warm smile. "You're a proud mother, Sunset Shimmer, and a grandmother too, now. I am happy you have found success and happiness in a world and situation many would fail in." Sunset managed a smile. "I wouldn't be where I am if it weren't for you banishing me. I suppose I need to thank you." Celestia stood from her desk, followed by Sunset, and the two mares embraced each other tightly. "It has been wonderful to see you again..." Celestia breathed into Sunset's neck. "I've missed you too, Celestia..." When they broke away, both mares, teacher and student, had tears building in their eyes. Sunset slowly began backing towards the door she came in. "You... are welcome back in Equestria, Sunset Shimmer, time you should choose to return..." Sunset grinned, but her smile quickly faded. "Thank you, princess, but I should... be getting back... It's movie night..." Sunset said with a chuckle. "Seriously, princess, find the time to have a child. It'll change your entire world..." Celestia beamed at her. "I shall give it some thought." She replied. "Farewell, Sunset Shimmer..." Sunset gave the princess a subtle 'wink', and without another word, she dissapeared into the corridor. *** > Short 3: Fun And Games > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ***One Last Ride: Short*** "Oh... Oh no..." Sunshine groaned, holding her hand to her forehead. "I've lost him forever... He... He's gone..." Summerset, her two-year old son, giggled as he hid under the table. He watched as his mother paced around the room. "I... I'll never see him again!" Sunshine wailed mockingly, letting out a frustrated sigh. Then, her lips curled into a smile, and she quickly crouched, looking underneath the table. "There he is!" She exlaimed with excitement. Summerset cried out with glee and rushed forward, jumping into his mother's arms. Sunshine held the little unicorn tight against her chest and blew into his belly, extracting uncontrollable laughter from him. "Sneaky boy..." Sunshine whispered, gently poking his snout. "Why were you hiding from momma, sneaky boy?" "Maybe he was afraid you might think he broke the drinking glass." Said Dennis as he entered the room. Sunshine turned around to face him with a confused look on her face. "What drinking glass?" She asked. "Did you... Did you break one of my mother's drinking glasses? You little..." "Well... Yeah..." Dennis stammered, clearing his throat. "So... Um... What's going on in here?" Sunshine's smile returned, and she set Summerset back down. The moment the little colt's hooves hit the floor, he took off, disappearing into the kitchen. "Summer and I were just playing a little 'hide and seek'." Sunshine explained. "How were your magic lessons with Twilight Sparkle?" Dennis let out a heavy groan. "Hmm... That bad, huh?" Sunshine asked, chuckling sweetly. "That was the first four years of my childhood, baby. Get used to it." "It just... It requires so much more concentration than anything I've ever had to focus on in my life." Dennis said as he let out a long sigh. Sunshine pursed her lips and placed a comforting hand on her husband's head. She ruffled his mane before giving him a soft kiss on his snout. "You gotta think more positively." Sunshine said in a soft voice. "Besides, you're pretty good at multi tasking. Focusing on one thing shouldn't be too much harder." "Your breasts don't count as 'multi tasking', Sunshine." Dennis said with a chuckle. Sunshine gave him a silly grin and pulled the neck on her shirt down a little, exposing much of her cleavage. "Are you sure..." She asked softly. "You're so good at giving them both equal amounts of love and attention at the same time... I'd say that counts..." Sunshine leaned forward to kiss Dennis a little more affectionately, but she was interrupted by the sound of four little hooves clipping against the wooden floors. Moments later, Summerset sprinted into the room and dove under his father's legs. He ran back and forth, looping in and out of Dennis' legs. "Da! Da! Da!" Summer shouted, rearing up on his rear legs and pushing his front two hooves against Dennis' chest. "Hey there, sprout... I hope you're not working your mama too hard. She's an old lady, you know." "Shut up, you moron. I'm nineteen." Dennis gently kissed his forehead before turning his attention back to Sunshine. "We could... see if Fluttershy can watch him for a few hours while we-" Sunshine grinned wildly. "Now you're thinking right. Say no more, stud. I'll write to her immediately." Moments later, Sunshine had a letter ready to send. Using a trick Twilight and Spike had showed her, she sent the letter directly to Fluttershy. Roughly fifteen minutes later, Fluttershy was knocking on their front door. Sunshine, holding Summerset in her arms, opened the door. Before she could greet Fluttershy, the excited mare pulled Summerset from her arms and squealed happily. "Of course, I'll watch him for you!" Sunshine let out a sigh and smiled. "Thank you, Fluttershy. If you need anything, please don't hesitate to..." Sunshine's voice trailed off. Fluttershy was already trotting away, telling Summerset about all of the fun things they were going to do and all of the animals and critters they would get to meet. "Do we pay her?" Dennis asked. Sunshine shook her head. "Well, we should. She's awsome with Summer." "I agree..." Sunshine chuckled. "But I'm also content if she volunteers." Now that they were alone, Sunshine and Dennis could 'unwind'. She gave her husband a very dirty look. "That's a face I haven't seen in a while..." Dennis laughed nervously. "Wh-What are you thinking?" Sunshine stepped closer, lifting her shirt and pulling it over her head and tossing it aside. She then cupped Dennis' cheeks in her hands and pulled his snout into her cleavage. "You broke one of my mom's drinking glasses... You're a bad pony, and bad ponies need to be punished..." Sunshine reached underneath Dennis until she found what she was looking for. Her fingers curled around his hardening cock, and her grip tightened. Dennis let out a long moan as she played with his member. "You're not going to cum until I allow it..." She purred, stroking up and down the length of his shaft. "You're going to reach the brink of your climax again and again, but you will never feel satisfaction until I am satisfied..." Sunshine licked her lips and lowered herself so her lips were level with his erect member. Dennis swallowed the saliva in his mouth with a nervousness that shook his body. "We have about two hours before Summer drives Fluttershy insane and she brings him back. Let's get started..." ***
