> My Little Pony: Breath of the Wild > by knigsonic > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Open Your Eyes > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- “Long ago, Before the Two Sisters, Before The Rise of the Equestrian Race in fact, there was a race of Great Beings, called The Hylian Race. Near the end of their rule, a War, unlike any the land had witnessed, took place. In it was a man, with more Bloodshed on his hands than any before him. He sought out to rule the land with an iron fist, forcing an ancient Sorceress to do his dirty work, summoning monsters from across the ages to wage battle against the Hylians, led by a noble Princess, and her servant, a warrior from the Sheikah tribe. Together with the Hyrulian army, they battled bravely against the threat. However, soon the evil man had faced his equal, a young knight trainee who was destined to be The Hero of Legend. The man found the Blade of Evils Bane, and defeated the evil king, sealing him away. However, Though the battle was won, the War was lost as The Demon King had managed to wipe the Hylian Race out of existence. The Hero then prayed to the goddesses of old, asking them to revive the Hylians somehow. None know what became of The Hero afterwards, but many believe his prayer was answered, and the Hylian Race was revived many years later as the Equestrian Race. It was then that Guardians were placed over the land to watch over it so we may never have another war like the Great Hylian War ever again-“ Suddenly a Pegasus raised her hoof, having The Alicorn stop. “Yes Rainbow Dash?” “Twilight, this is SOOOOO Boring… Can’t we just read some Daring Do instead?” Rainbow said pulling her eyelids open just to stay awake. “Ugh, Fine… Go do whatever you want Rainbow…” Twilight said closing her book and putting it away. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ “Open Your Eyes” A pod slowly began to open, deep underground. If any living creature was inside the chamber, they would have seen a strange pool of blue liquid inside it. “Open Your Eyes” If any creature would have been in the chamber, they would of ran out as a body, a young man, began to emerge from the pool, wearing a pair of black shorts, with darkish blond hair and pointy ears. “Wake Up Link” Link opened his eyes for the first time in eons, slowly climbing out of the pool and looked around. “Where… Where am I?” he asked himself. He noticed a stand near a closed door begin to glow and walked over to it. “This is a Shiekah Slate. This will help you on your mission to save this land once again” Link jumped in surprise at the voice. “Who’s there?” He asked, spinning around, only to see no one. Shrugging, he picked up the slab, only to watch as the door began to open. Watching in surprise, he walked through it only to spot a pair of clothes laid out for him. “Guess someone was thinking about me hehe” he said as he put on a blue shirt and tan pants and some boots. After getting dressed, Link saw another stand glowing down the hallway. Looking down, he noticed his slate was glowing as well. “Hmm… I wonder…” he said walking forward, placing the slate on top of the stand. Suddenly a strange sound came from it before a computerized voice was heard. “ACCESS GRANTED” Link took the slate back as another door at the end of the hallway opened up. He covered his eyes as blinding light soared into the room. After blinking several times in order to get used to the light, Link walked towards it, soon finding himself out into a wide field. “Wha… How long have I been gone?” he asked himself. “Link, Hero chosen by the Goddesses, you have been awakened from your deep slumber to save the land once again. A Great evil is rising and only you can defeat it. Rise Link, and save this land so that it might never have to witness a war ever again.” Link looked around for the source of the voice, again to no success. Looking down, he noticed a small town sitting next to a forest at the bottom of the mountain he was on. “It seems the Hylian Race has been brought back… maybe someone down there might have some answers for me.” Link said before climbing down the mountain, unaware of the mechanical machine watching him from above. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It took Link nearly half a day to climb down the mountain and reach the forest. As he made his way inside, he noticed it had begun to get dark. “Maybe I should set up camp here… I don’t think I could make it through this forest during the night…” he said. Looking around, he added, “on the other hand, it might be smarter to make my way to the village, since I don’t really have anywhere to sleep and keep warm… Ya… I better head through…” Link said, getting ready to jog into the woods, only to spot something sticking out of the ground. Reaching down, he pulled out what seemed to be an old rusty sword from what appeared to be from eons ago. “This might be of some use… assuming I get a chance to fix it up…” he said before placing it on his back. “Link… head towards the town, but be warned, your awakening has not gone unnoticed. Hurry before your caught!” Link spun around, finally getting irritated at hearing a voice but finding no owner, only to see a few rocks fall off the mountain. Looking up, he nearly fell backwards as giant Mechanical arm appeared, followed by a giant pod! “Not good!” Link said before turning around, running into the forest. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rainbow Dash awoke to the sound of a loud boom. “Huh? What was that?” she yelled, running outside her cloud house, only to spot what appeared to be a giant metal glowing egg with tentacles chasing and shooting at something, or Somepony! Worse yet, whatever it was, was coming straight for Ponyville! “Not on my watch” she said with a grin as she dived from her cloud, spreading her wings instantly blasting towards the forest. She rammed into it, causing it to spin around for a few seconds, giving her time to rescue the pony it was after. “Hey, you need a hoof?” She said only to stare at what she just saved. Whatever it was, stood on two legs, was fully clothed, and had pulled a rusty sword out. Suddenly the creature charged at her, only to roll right under her, tossing the rusty sword at the giant machine, managing to hit it in what looked like an eye, shattering the sword. The Mechanical beast spun around a few times, the glowing on it flickering in and out before finally collapsing. The creature sighed, relaxing as it turned towards Rainbow Dash. “Nice move there guy” Rainbow Dash said landing on her hoofs as the young man stood up. “My Names Rainbow Dash! Whats yours?” she asked extending a hoof. The boy looked at the hoof before leaning down and shaking it. “Link” > But I didnt do it! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- “Link?” Rainbow Dash asked trotting over to him. “What kind of name is that?” “The name I was born with… Besides, what kind of name is Rainbow Dash?” Link asked chuckling as he walked over picking up his shattered sword. “Great… and I just found that” he muttered turning around to the Pegasus. “It’s a perfectly fine name!” she said getting angry. “Maybe for around here. Not so much on my side of the pond.” Link said bending down to her and smiled. Rainbow Dash thought it over and snickered. “I guess you’re right.” She said before sticking her hoof out. “Nice to meet you Link!” she said with a smile as Link extended his hand and shook her hoof. “Same to you Rainbow Dash! So… where are we exactly?” he asked getting back to his full height. “The Everfree Forest, just outside Ponyville.” She said flapping her wings and floating up to his height. “What are you doing out here anyways?” she asked. “I’m… not sure… I just woke up a few hours ago in a cave on that mountain.” Link said pointing towards the mountain side. “Woke up? How long were you asleep for?” Rainbow asked only for Link to sigh and shake his head. “I’ll tell you this much, there were no talking ponies then… or any Hylians… There wasn’t much of anything…” Link said with a sad tone. Rainbow Dash’s ears dropped upon hearing this. “I’m… sorry… I didn’t know” she said before remembering what Twilight was reading earlier. “Wait… Hylians? Are you… a Hylian?” she asked Link who in turn nodded. “I have a friend that might give you some info about what happened! Come on!” she said before flying towards the entrance at her normal speed. Link stood there in shock before she zoomed back. “Oh, right… You probably can’t move that fast, can you?” she asked. Link shook his head and chuckled. “No, not really. How about you just fly by me. We can talk on the way.” He said as he put his shattered sword away. “Sure” she said. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ BAM BAM BAM “YO TWILIGHT!!!” Rainbow Dash yelled as she and Link stood outside a giant crystal tree. Link looked up to see another pony stick her head out of a window higher up. “RAINBOW DASH, IT’S THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!” Twilight shouted before noticing the boy standing next to her. “HANG ON, ILL BE DOWN IN A SEC” Twilight shouted before running down. The duo watched the gates open as Twilight stepped out. “Who are you?” She asked looking up at Link. “My name is Link.” He said getting down to her eye level. “Link huh?” Twilight said as she turned towards Rainbow Dash and asked “where did you find him?” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ “That’s quite a tale.” Twilight said writing everything down that Link and Rainbow Dash told her. Link nodded and said “I was told I need to save this land… but I don’t even know this world anymore… If this is still my world…” Link said looking at the Cutie Map. Twilight scratched her chin before having a book levitate out of the Library to her. “You said you were a Hylian, correct?” She asked as Link nodded. Twilight began flipping through her book. “Tell me, what do you remember happening before you awoke in that cave?” she asked as Link scratched his chin. “I was… I was in a war… I fought in the Hylian army, and was chosen by fate to help save the land… But I failed. My race was wiped out, and I was the last of my kind.” Link said holding his head down in shame. Twilight flipped through her book before finding what she was looking for. “Wait… YOU’RE the Legendary Hero? The one who defeated the Great Evil all those years ago?” She asked slowly getting a grin on her face. Link looked up and nodded, trying not to get creeped out by her grin. “THAT IS SO COOL!” Twilight shouted with glee putting her hoofs to her face. “I can’t believe I’m meeting a piece of Equestrian History!” She continued. Link scratched the back of his head slightly embarrassed as Rainbow Dash snickered at what was happening. “Calm down Twi, your gonna scare him away!” she said in between laughs. Twilight blushed and looked at Link. “Hehe, sorry. It’s just, I’ve always wanted to meet legends from Equestria’s history, and… well, you’re probably one of the biggest there are, almost as big as Starswirl the Bearded!” Link blinked at the name and asked, “Who’s Starswirl?” It was Twilights turn to blink as her eye twitched. “Who’s Starswirl? HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW ABOUT HIM?” She asked loudly. Rainbow flew over and held her friend back. “TWILIGHT! Perhaps Starswirl wasn’t around then? After all, Isn’t Link supposed to be from before Equestria?” Rainbow asked to which Twilight calmed down in shame. “Oh…. Right… sorry. I’m kind of his number 1 fan… ehehe” Twilight said looking away. Link waved it away. “It’s fine. I can understand that.” Twilight smiled and flew up to Link, giving him a hug. “Thanks.” She said happily. He returned the hug and set her down. “So what all can you do Link?” Rainbow Dash asked walking over. “I’m pretty good with a sword and shield” he said pulling out his shattered sword. “I’d show, but… well, my sword broke when fighting that machine.” Twilight took it with her magic and looked it over. “I bet Applejack might be able to mend it, or replace it altogether as well as give you a shield.” She said handing it back to him. “It’s near morning now. She should be up now, so let’s head over there!” Rainbow Dash said flying out the door. “Does she always move that fast?” Link asked as he and Twilight walked after her. “You have no idea” Twilight said chuckling. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It was nearly daylight by the time the trio reached the farm. As Rainbow Dash predicted, Applejack was out in the field already doing her chores. “HEY AJ!” Rainbow shouted flying to her friend. Applejack turned around and offered a brohoof to her friend. “Well Howdy there Sugarcube! I’m surprised you’re up this early in the morning RD.” She said chuckling noticing Twilight walking up behind her. “Now Twilight I’m used to being up this early… or should I say late.” She said jokingly as she and Rainbow Dash started laughing. “Ha ha, very funny Applejack. This isn’t a social visit actually. We were wondering if you could help out our new friend.” Twilight said motioning to Link as he walked over after eating an apple. Applejack looked the stranger up and down. “What in tarnation?” she asked. “Applejack, this is Link.” Twilight said as Link kneeled down and offered his hand. Applejack nervously extended her hoof and shook it. “It’s a Pleasure to meet ya Link. Where ya from exactly?” she asked as he sat down on a bale of hay. “I’m… from a time before Equestria was founded.” Link said as he pulled out his shattered sword. “I was wondering if you might be able to fix my sword.” He said showing her the damaged blade. Applejack looked it over and shook her head. “Sorry partner. That there blade is rusted. No point in fixing a blade that’s gonna break again within a few swings.” She replied as she handed it back to him. “However, my Brother Big Mac and I can craft ya a replacement sword. Normally Id charge for something like this, but seeing as your new in town, it’s on the house. Anything else ya need while we work?” Link smiled at the offer. Never before had anyone ever offered him something. He always had to pay. And he would of payed for his weapons, but his old wallet must have vanished to the ages of time. Thinking real quick, he nodded and replied, “I’d also like a shield to defend myself, and maybe a bow? From what I’ve seen out there, I’ll need both to stay alive.” Applejack nodded and trotted over to the barn and spotted Big Mac getting his plow ready. “Hold off on that Big Mac. Weve got ourselves some crafting to do!” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Link sat outside the barn waiting as Twilight had begun writing a letter. Rainbow Dash had flown back home to take a nap before she performed her weather duties for the day. Link turned to Twilight noticing what she was doing and asked, “So who are you writing?” Twilight looked up at him and replied, “To Princess Celestia. I have a feeling she might want to meet you Link.” She said with a smile. Link blushed at the thought and scratched the back of his head. “I’m not sure shed want to meet me” he said bashfully only for the ground to suddenly rumble. “What the?” He exclaimed standing up looking towards the West Apple Field. Suddenly a Laser beam fired at the barn blowing a hole in it. “LINK” Twilight shouted as the blast knocked her away. Link watched as she slammed into a tree and slide to the ground. Looking around, Link spotted an ax and grabbed it, running over to Twilight. “Are you ok?” he asked leaning her against the tree. Twilight looked at him and nodded slowly. “I’ll be fine.” She said slowly. “Go see what that was.” Link nodded and ran in the direction of the laser. Applejack ran out to see what happened before spotting Twilight against the tree. “Twilight! What in tarnation happened?” She shouted running over. “I’m not sure… some beam shot out from the west field and Link went to investigate.” Twilight said before finally passing out. “HE WHAT?” Applejack screamed running back into the barn to fetch his gear she and Big Mac just finished crafting and ran after him. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Link arrived at the field and drew the ax he grabbed looking around. He didn’t spot whatever shot that beam at him and Twilight, but he did hear something. Link crouched and moved forward hiding in the grass. Slowly looking over the grass, he noticed a camp fire with some Moblins huddling around it. “Great” he mumbled to himself. “These guys are still a thing.” Gripping his ax, he moved forward trying to sneak up on them. However he suddenly heard the sound of hoofs running. The Moblins heard this as well and turned to the sound. Applejack ran over the hill carrying Link’s new gear and stopped at what she saw. The Moblins grinned and grabbed their weapons, screaming at her and began running at her. “Oh Apple Sause” she muttered getting ready to defend herself only to see Link leap out of the grass, ax in hand and in a battle potion. “HEY!” he yelled getting the Moblins attention. “How about you pick on someone your own size?” The Moblins screamed at him and begun running at him, weapons swinging randomly. Link gripped his ax and swung, knocking three of them down, before leaping up, spinning vertically, hitting the ground before a fourth Moblin, knocking it into a tree, killing it instantly. Applejack watched as Link then swung the ax behind his back as the other three Moblins got back up and snarled at him as a fifth and final one appeared, the four of them charging at him. In amazement, Applejack stared as Link swung the ax into a spin attack, destroying the Moblins. Applejack trotted down to Link as he turned to her. “Well I’ll be, that was some excellent skills ya showed off there partner!” Applejack exclaimed as Link set the ax down. “Thanks.” Link said sitting down and asked, “What are you doing out here?” Applejack turned and grabbed Link’s gear. “I figured you might need this. We just finished after you ran off.” She said as she handed the gear to him. “Thank You Applejack.” Link said as he put his new equipment on. Suddenly the ground began to shake as another laser beam shot out from behind a hill, nearly hitting Link and Applejack. Link looked up and frowned. Another Machine appeared from behind the hill, clawing its way towards him. Applejack saw this and began to stumble back in fear. She looked at Link in surprise not seeing fear on him. She watched as he ran forward, grabbing a few arrows from the Moblin’s camp site and put it into his bow, leaping onto the fence high into the air. Time seemed to slow down to Applejack as Link managed to fire three arrows off in seconds, hitting the massive Machine in its eye, stopping it from firing its laser. He then drew his sword and shield, swinging down, cutting one of its legs off, rolling forward and cutting two more of them off. The Machine stumbled back and forth abit before collapsing under its own weight. Link stood up and looked his foe over satisfied it was down before returning to Applejack. “That… That was incredible Sugarcube!” She said with delight as he put his weapons away. “Just doing my duty.” Link said kneeling down. “You ok?” he asked as she nodded. “I’m fine, but I think Twilight is the one you should be worried about.” She said to Link, who nodded in agreement. The duo ran back to Twilight only to find her standing at the top of the hill in shock from watching the fight. “Twilight, are you ok?” Link asked as he approached her. Twilight nodded and stared at the machine. “That was a Guardian… And you took it down without even trying…” She said in shock. Link blinked and asked, “What’s a Guardian?” “They were supposed to be our protectors from when Equestria was founded thousands of years ago. But they went offline about one thousand years ago.” Twilight explained. Link nodded and looked at the remains of the Guardian he destroyed. “So what’s making them return to power… just to attack me?” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ “SPIKE!” Twilight shouted as she and Link entered her castle. Spike ran out from the kitchen towards Twilight and skidded to a halt. “Yes Twilight?” he asked as she floated a letter to him. “I need you to send this letter to Princess Celestia immediately. We’re heading to Canterlot now to talk with her and figure out why Link here has arrived.” Spike was about to send the letter when he noticed Link standing near the door. “Uh, ok.” He said before breathing fire onto the letter, causing the ashes to fly towards Canterlot. Link raised his hand to ask what he did, but lowered it seeing as though with how strange this day had been, shrugged it off. “Come on Link, we better head to the train station quickly.” Twilight said running out the door. Link nodded following her. Spike sighed and headed back into the kitchen. “Let’s hope he gets warned about Pinkie Pie before she scares him.” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Link and Twilight stepped out of the train car into the streets of Canterlot. Link looked around to see all the ponies sticking their muzzles high into the air clearly thinking they were better than everypony else. Twilight looked at Link and whispered, “Sometimes I wish Somepony would trip one of them while they walked around like that, make them actually look where they are going.” She then giggled as Link gave a small chuckle and the pair made their way towards Canterlot Castle. Link made his way through the crowds of ponies, not one even caring he existed. As he neared the park however, he heard a smashing of glass and an alarm going off. Turning around, he saw a griffon wearing a black mask leap out of a jewelry store, carrying a sack on its back. As Link expected, none of the ponies around even cared. Link sighed, figuring he’d have to step in. “HEY!” He shouted, causing the griffon to freeze up and turn around. The griffon smirked and gave a deep chuckle. “What, Have I fallen so low that Canterlot has decided to send a monkey after me? Pathetic!” The griffon said spitting at Link. Link frowned and drew his sword and shield out. “Return what you have stolen and I’ll let you go.” Link said gripping his sword as the Griffon laughed. “Nice try Monkey, but, I’m afraid I’ll have to decline.” He said before spreading his wings and flying straight at Link. “Then so be it.” Link said before leaping into the Griffon’s flight path, thrusting his shield forward bouncing him off it and into a nearby building, but not before swinging his sword and knocking the bag of jewels to the ground. Link landed on the ground and spun around, pointing the tip of his sword at the Griffon. “Surrender.” Link said to him only for the sound of spears to be pointed at him. “We could say the same to you buddy.” A voice said behind him. Link turned around slowly to see an army of Unicorn’s and Pegasus’s behind him. “Leave the Griffon alone monster, and come with us.” The lead Unicorn said pointing his spear at Link. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ “Next case, Jewel thief. All Rise!” Princess Luna said as Night Court continued. Everypony rose as two unicorns pushed Link into the courtroom. “You may be seated.” Luna said as everypony sat down. Link looked at the Alicorn standing behind the pedestal and frowned. ‘This is the last time I save a random building’ He thought to himself as Luna looked over her notes. “So… You were attempting to steal these valuable jewels from The Canterlot Jewelry, and then attempted to hurt a griffon in the progress?” Luna asked looking up at the young man before her. Link shook his head and replied, “No ma’am. I was heading towards Canterlot Castle with Twilight Sparkle to speak with Princess Celestia when I heard The store being robbed and ran to stop the thief seeing as nobody here seemed to care.” Luna frowned and looked at the guard. “Is this true?” she asked, to which the unicorn gulped. “Uh, we only arrived in time to see him put this weapon at the Griffon’s throat.” He said showing her his weapons. Luna turned back to Link and asked frowning, “What exactly are these for?” Link looked at them and back to her responding, “Those are my weapons, handmade by Applejack and her Brother Big Mac. I used to be a knight for the Kingdom of Hyrule many years ago.” Luna gasped and asked, “Hyrule? You mean… THE Hyrule? The one from before Equestria was founded?” Link nodded and Luna continued, “So… does that mean… You’re the Legendary Hero? The one who fought the Demon King?” Again, Link nodded before hanging his head. “Some Hero I was. Couldn’t save the Hylian Race, and the gods of old never answered my prayer, instead locking me away in a mountain on the other side of what you call the Everfree Forest for thousands of years.” Link said in shame. Luna frowned and approached Link. Slowly, she put her horn to his forehead and it began to glow. She looked into his mind and frowned at what she saw. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ganon’s Tower- Ten Thousand Years ago Link drew the Master Sword from its scabbard and slowly approached Ganondorf, lying on his back defeated. Link suddenly heard Ganondorf chuckle darkly as the Triforce appeared on him, glowing as a dark arura surrounded Ganondorf as he suddenly transformed before Link’s very eyes! Gone was the Demon King, now stood a beast of pure evil. It reared on its back legs and roared into the air, screaming, “I… AM… GANON!!!” Link gripped the Master Sword and Hylian Shield as the roar shook the very ground he stood on. Ganon slowly rose into the air and slammed his claws together causing a lightning storm to form, striking all of Hyrule. He then looked down at Link and growled, inhaling before breathing fire at The Hero. Link ran around Ganon before rolling into a safe spot and pulling out his Hookshot and shooting at his tail, yanking him out of the sky. Ganon slammed into the earth with a thud as he roared at Link before slamming his claws into the ground as his tusks suddenly opened wide and begun spraying the knights and gorons on the field with an endless attack of seeds. Link dodged the seeds while pulling out his boomerang and flinging it at Ganon’s tusks, knocking both out. Ganon growled at Link before running straight at the Hero. Link leaped out of the way just in time as he smashed face first into Hyrule Castle. Ganon pulled himself out before opening his right claw, as a massive fireball began to form in his palm. “Not gonna happen.” Link said before running forward, and tossing a massive stockpile of Bombs into his claw, blowing it up in the progress. Ganon fell back in pain and stared death daggers at Link. He then leaped high into the air only to slam down into the ground. Link managed to dodge just in time as Ganon took out nearly the remainder of the Hyrulian Army. Ganon raised his left claw and begun charging up an energy blast. Link ran for Ganon pulling his bow and arrow’s out just as he fired. Link managed to leap up into the air and fired off an arrow, managing to hit Ganon’s gauntlet’s jewel, shattering it as Ganon fell back. “LINK!” A voice shouted out. Link turned and saw his allies and friends run up to him. “NOW IS THE TIME! USE THESE ON GANON!” The one in the middle, Princess Zelda, shouted before sending a beam of light into Link’s arrows. Link looked at them in amazement. Taking his new Light arrows, Link charged at Ganon, drawing his bow and arrow, only for Ganon to turn around at Link’s allies and stood on his hind legs only to drop both front claws on them, but not before Lana cast a spell sending Darunia, Ruto, Midna, Agitha, and Fi back to their respected times. Ganon then crushed the remaining allies before turning to Link, grinning. “I WIN. YOU SHALL BE THE LAST ONE TO DESTORY BEFORE THE HYRULIAN RACE IS WHIPPED OUT FOREVER!” Ganon roared. Link, filled with anger, raised his bow to Ganon and fired straight into the crystal on his forehead, stunning him long enough for Link to charge in with the Master Sword, leaping high into the air as his blade glowed holy blue and he struck Ganon down. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Luna stepped back, her horn returning to normal as she looked into Link’s eye’s. Eye’s filled with bravery. The eye’s of a beast, of a child, of a Hero, one who had traveled many lands, fought in different time era’s. Eye’s devoid of fear, but filled with pure courage. “Let this Young Man go.” Luna said turning towards the unicorn guard. “Y-Yes Ma’am!” The guard said casting a spell releasing the bonds on Link instantly. “Link, is it?” Luna asked him to which he nodded. “Follow me. I shall take you to my sister and Princess Twilight.” > rematch > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Celestia looked up from Twilight as the door’s to the thrown room opened up. ‘What now?’ she thought to herself as her sister walked in with a strange figure following her. “Sister, what is that thing you are bringing in here?” Celestia asked getting up only for Twilight to run down the steps to the creature. “Link! There you are! I was just telling Princess Celestia about you!” Twilight said as the creature, known as Link, chuckled and replied, “sorry, got caught up trying to stop a robbery.” He said. Celestia slowly approached him and frowned. “So… your this ‘Hylian’ that my pupil has told me about?” Celestia asked as Link gave a simple nod. “Sounds like me” he said. For a split second they locked eyes. In that second, Celestia saw eyes of courage, of a hero who’s job wasn’t finished. Link, however, saw something far different in Celestia. But before he could think about it, she turned around and faced her sister. “Why have you brought him here Luna?” She asked. Luna turned to Link and said, “I believe this is the Hylian spoken of in Legend, the noble knight who wielded the Sword of evil’s bane.” Celestia frowned and returned to her seat. “How can you be so sure? Weve had plenty of ponies come and claim to be the Hero reborn. Perhaps he is just another deceiver?” Luna and Twilight both looked at Celestia in shock at what she said, while Link looked down at his Shiekah Slate. Celestia took note of this and looked out the window. “Perhaps a test is in order…. You say you were attempting to stop a robber… Link, was it?” she said as Link nodded. “I was attempting to stop him before your… ponies… thought I was the robber and arrested me.” Celestia turned to him and frowned. “Then your first test will be to find this robber and bring him to justice. I believe a small task like that would be no such trouble for you.” Link nodded only to raise an eyebrow. “First test? May I ask what the second one is?” Celestia frowned and replied, “no, you shall find out when you return with this thief behind bars. You may use any equipment from my guard’s to take him down.” Link walked down the steps of Canterlot Castle and adjusted his new temporary gear, a simple spear and bow, and looked around. “That thief could be anywhere…” He muttered to himself as Twilight walked up beside him. “Im sorry the Princess acted like that. Usually she’s one of the most gentle ponies in existence.” Twilight said. Link looked down at her and sighed. “Well, either way, at least I get to finish what I started with this thief.” He then looked up and walked over to the railing separating him from a steep drop. “He had wings… perhaps he flew to a lower part of the Mountain to celebrate his victory.” He muttered as Twilight trotted over. “What are you gonna do?” she asked barely hearing him. Link then climbed onto the railing and looked down noticing a small series of caves. Frowning. He stood back up and stretched his arm’s out and leaned forward. Twilight ran forward but was to late as Link dived off the edge. “LIIIIINK!!!!” She shouted before leaping after him, spreading her wings. Link didn’t pay her any mind as he readjusted his fall to aim for one of the caves. Suddenly he was jolted back as Twilight grabbed him with her hoofs and flapped her wings rapidly to pull him back up. “No! Let me fall! I need to get to those caves!” Link said to her as Twilight looked down at the caves. “Ooooh” she said and flew him over to them. Twilight dropped Link down and landed beside him. “Well on the bright side, at least you didn’t get hurt from your leap.” She said with a soft chuckle. Link looked back and gave a smile. “Ya, thanks hehe. Wasn’t to sure how I was gonna survive that fall.” He said before looking at the cave spotting tools, food, and bags of jewelry at the entrance. “This is the place” he said standing up and drawing his spear. “Twilight, you better stay back. This could get messy.” He said his serious face returning. Twilight nodded and ran over to the side of the entrance and watched. Link walked in and tapped the end of the spear on the ground to reveal his presence. “Ok Griffon. I know you’re here. You might as well give up now.” He said gripping his weapon. He watched from the shadow’s as the same griffon from before stepped out and frowned. “I thought Id be rid of you after those guard’s took you away.” He growled at the Hylian as Link stood there not intimidated by his enemy before him. “Princess Celestia herself tasked me with bringing you in.” he said hair blowing in the wind. The griffon was taken aback. “What, Im so low that she sent a freak to stop me and not a noble knight?” He said spitting at Link. The Hylian frowned and replied, “I am not a knight of Equestria, yes, but I am a Knight of Hyrule, the last Knight.” He said as the Griffon laughed at him. “Of Hyrule? You must take me for a fool! That is but a fairy tale!” he said with laughter and looked at Link only for Link to look at Twilight and back at the Griffon. “What is your name?” He asked the thief. The griffon looked at him and grinned. “Goldar, your executioner. And you would be?” The knight leaned into a battle pose and spoke. “I am Link, Chamion of Hyrule, Hero Chosen by the Goddesses, The last of the Hylians.” A cool breeze blew between them as they stared each other down. Finally, Goldar ran forward roaring and leaped at Link, claws at the ready. Link Backflipped at the last second and landed. To Twilight, time seemed to slow down as Link started stabbing at Goldar with his spear before knocking him into a wall. Goldar climbed back up and grabbed a kniff and leaped again, this time managing to stab Link in the side drawing blood. Link yelled in pain and staggered back. Goldar grinned and lunged at Link, biting into his leg only to be pounded in the side of the head by the blunt end of Link’s spear. “GAH!” He screamed as he leg go of his leg. Link then yanked the knife out of his side in pain and stuck it in Goldar’s mouth so he couldn’t close it. Goldar screamed in rage as he tried to open his mouth wide enough to get the knife out. Link turned to Twilight to see if she was safe. What he saw on her face said it all. She no longer saw Link as the Great Hero the legend’s spoke of, but a warrior, attempting to kill someone. Link turned back to see his opponent struggle to get the knife out more. Link then drew his bow and moved to the side. He pulled and arrow out and aimed at the knife. He then released and watched as the arrow slammed into the knife, shattering both of them. The Griffon looked at his opponent and growled. “Big mistake Freak.” He said spitting blood out and leaped at him, using his wings to push him into the wall. Twilight gasped about to leap in and help when she saw Link kick the griffon off and leaped onto his back pinning him down. “You think you got a chance? Ive tangled with Enemies far worse. Ive defeated Ganondorf, The King of Evil! Your just a petty thief! Just give up now!” Link shouted Goldar continued to struggle and growled at Link. “LIAR! None of those things ever happened! Your just a freak!” Link frowned only to notice his Shiekah Slate was glowing. He grabbed it with a free hand and looked at the screen on the back as an image appeared. “STASIS RUNE ACTIVE” the Computerized voice spoke. Link aimed the Slate at the Griffon and activated the Rune. Twilight opened the door to the Throne room as Celestia and Luna were talking. “Princess! Hes done it!” Twilight said. Celestia looked at Twilight and raised an eyebrow. Suddenly she saw Link walking in with a griffon, for some strange reason frozen in place. “What did you do to him?” she asked walking forward. Link set the griffon down and pulled up his Shiekah Slate. “Im not sure. I just saw this glowing and used something called ‘Stasis’ on him. After that, he’s been like this.” He said before aiming the Slate at Goldar and unfroze him. Goldar looked around. “How did I get here?” He asked spinning around only to see Link. “YOU!” he screamed leaping at The Knight only to be held in place by Magic. “What the!” He yelled only to notice The princesses holding him back. “Uh-Oh” he said as the guard’s ran in. He looked at them as they all aimed their spears at him. “Guards, take this griffon to the dungeon below until we get his trial ready.” Luna said as the trio released Goldar to the Guard. As they left Celestia looked back at Link and gave a slight smile. “Im impressed. I didn’t think you had it in you, but you’ve proven me wrong.” She said as Link nodded at her. “Perhaps you will survive the second test.” She said turning around heading back to her throne. Link watched and stepped forward. “May I ask what it is?” He said as Celestia sat down. “Return to Ponyville. I will send a letter to Twilight in a few day’s explaining the task. For now, Ill let you go and rest. It seems you need it after your encounter.” She said noticing the wound in his side. Link looked at it and nodded and turned with Twilight to leave only to face Luna. “May I have my gear back Princess?” He asked her. Luna nodded nad turned to his sword and shield off to the side. She levitated them to their owner as he handed her the spear. “Thank you. Tell the guard Im gonna hold onto the bow. I might have need of it later.” Link told Luna who nodded. Link returned the nod and left. Luna turned towards her sister and frowned. “Why do you act so hostile towards him?” She asked only for Celestia to stare dagger’s at Luna. “All in good time my sister…” She said with venom dripping from her voice. > A mystery > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Twilight stepped off the train lost in thought as Link followed behind her, replacing his gear that he took off to sit down. He looked up after fixing it to see all the ponies at the station staring at him out of curiosity. "This is going to take some getting used to..." he said causing Twilight to turn her head around in curiosity. "hmm?" She asked as he caught up to her. "oh, Im just gonna need to get used to being around ponies instead of hylians" He said looking down at her. "Ya, I guess this would be a major cultury shift for where you came from... Maybe its best we get you to my castle for now. That way I can take a look at that wound." Twilight said heading towards her place. Link nodded looking down at it in shame along with his tunic. 'I must bring dishonor to this tunic for this happening to it...' he thought before following Twilight. Meanwhile Twilight returned to her thoughts. 'Why did Celestia turn hostel towards Link? Shes normally Kind and loving to everypony... She was having a good time before he walked in, then she just tried to get rid of him as quickly as possible.... Something's not right with her...' ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Link opened his eyes staring at the crystal ceiling above him and slowly sat up to take a good look at the room Twilight had given him when they arrived to her castle. It was a simple room with a small table and dresser with an mirror on top. Link sat up and looked over at his tunic, the tear from where the griffon attacked him. 'I sure hope someone around here knows how to repair outfits...' He thought before getting up and walking towards the mirror. He looked at his wound and gave a soft smile at where Twilight used her magic to heal most of it up, leaving just a few scars. "Sure glad she was able to do that for me." He said putting the tunic back on and grabbing his gear before stepping outside. He heard the sound of voices coming from the Throne room and went down to see who was there. He stuck his head around the corner to see six ponies, three of which he recognized as Twilight, Rainbow, and Applejack, talking to one another. "I tell ya girls, it was weird of Celestia to act like that towards Link. Its almost like... The very fact Link existed repulsed her..." Twilight said to which the group gave worried confused looks. A white unicorn with a purple mane and three diamonds on her rear spoke up. "Perhaps she just was having an off day? Being a Princess can have its bad moments." Twilight shook her head to the unicorn and replied, "No Rarity. Thats just it. Up until she met him, Celestia acted like she always has, a kind and mother like figure, but right when she saw Link, something I never thought Id see on her face appeared..." "Disgust" Link said as he stepped around the corner. The group turned to the champion only to watch as a Pink pony with frizzy hair and three balloons on her flank shot out of her chair and straight towards Link. Link raised his arms to defend himself only for the pony to be grabbed by Twilight's magic. "PINKIE PIE! Now is not the time or place!" She shouted pulling her friend back. "Aww..." Pinkie Pie said as she was pulled back to her throne. Link sighed relaxing and walked up to Twilight. "I saw something in Celestia's eyes when we locked eyes for a moment. I couldnt put my finger on it, but I coulda swore Ive seen that look before..." Twilight wrote down this new information and looked up at Link. "Well until you can remember where you saw them, I guess were at a stand still here... How are you feeling Link?" Twilight asked setting her scroll down. "Better. Thanks for healing my wounds. Though I do wish you could of done something about my tunic. I feel like I disgraced my kind when this was damaged." He suddenly heard Rarity get up and walk over to him. "Let me see the damage darling." She said her horn glowing blue. Link nodded and removed his tunic and handed it over to her. She quickly scanned the shirt over finding the hole, while giving the material judging. "Oh no darling This simply wont do. This tunic is from your time, its gonna fall apart easily if you wear this into battle." She then looked up his remainder of his clothes and shook her head. "No no no... This will not do for a Champion of old! I MUST update your clothes at once!" She said. Link looked at the other girls, Twilight giving Link a nod. "She is the one to go to for fashion around here." Twilight said with a chuckle. Link looked back to Rarity and nodded. "Very well, though I might need a temporary outfit while you work." "Oh but of course! Come with me. I have something you might like!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Link stepped up to the second floor of Rarity's home as she put his clothes on her desk. "Now lets see... I know I have it around here somewhere..." She said opening her closet. Link looked around her room, seeing all the outfits she made for other ponies. 'How am I gonna afford to pay her for remaking clothes for me?' He thought to himself as she pulled out a pair of clothes. "Ah, here they are! The arms and legs are kinda small, I made them when I was a filly for a class project, but it should fit you nicely!" Link looked at the green tunic handed him and gave a soft smile putting on the old green floppy hat. "Thank you Rarity. I wish I had some way to repay you." He said putting the rest of the tunic on. "Think nothing of it darling! I am the element of Generosity after all!" Link blinked in confusion. "Element of Generosity? I dont understand..." he said pulling the boots up. "Oh, thats right, you dont know about the Elements of Harmony. Perhaps you should return to Twilight to find out more." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Link returned to Twilight's Castle only to nearly trip over a pony. Link looked down to see a quivering yellow pegasus with a pink mane hiding below him. "Hey, you ok?" He asked her only for her to mumble to him. "Im sorry, let me get out of your way." She mumbled and tried to move only for Link to get down to her level and respond, "Your not in my way." She looked at him surprised at the fact he didnt ask her to repeat herself and mumbled, "you can hear me just fine?" Link nodded and pointed to his ears. "Hylians have incredible hearing, supposedly to let us hear the goddesses better. You were at the meeting earlier, but I never got your name." She gave a small smile and moved her mane back. "My names Fluttershy." She said. "Link, but you already knew that hehe." Suddenly Link heard Twilight's voice call out to him. "LINK, I NEED YOU FOR A MINUTE!" Link stood up to full height and ran towards the sound of the voice before turning towards Fluttershy. "Ill catch up with you later!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Link stepped into the Library and noticed a massive mirror set up in the middle of the room as Twilight floated a book to a stand at the top. "Whats up?" Link said walking up to her. Twilight looked up at Link a stern look on her face. "I just received a message from my Canterlot High friends about a student of mine on the other side of the mirror." Twilight said to which Link blinked in confusion. "What?" Twilight sighed and explained. "On the other side of that mirror is a parallel world where everyone on this side is human, kinda like you but without pointy ears. I have a friend on that side of the portal that is learning about friendship there, but I just got a message from the human version of my friends something has happened to her. I need to go over there and investigate." Link nodded and looked at the mirror. "What do you need me for?" He asked as Twilight stepped toward the mirror. "I need you by my side. She might of been kidnapped and Ill need a champion to go rescue her." Link nodded and followed her into the mirror. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rainbow Dash looked at the statue to Canterlot High as a ripple appeared and Princess Twilight stepped through the portal. "Twilight's here!" She shouted to the other girls only for her to see another ripple as a young man wearing a green tunic and brown pants step through. "And... an elf?" She asked. Twilight looked at Rainbow and shook her head. "Girls, this is Link, Link, these are the human versions of my friends." Link looked up to see five teenage girls take interest in him. "Link? I know Ive heard that name somewhere..." Pinkie Pie said scratching her chin thinking. Link looked at Twilight, blinking at her new form not knowing shed change. "Girls, whats wrong with Sunset?" Twilight asked to which Applejack stepped forward taking her hat off. "Aye dont know how to tell you this sugarcube... but... Sunset Shimmer... is dead..." > Death of a Family Member > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Twilight gasped at the news while Link slowly raised his hand. "Um, who was Sunset?" Rainbow pulled out her phone and pulled up a picture showing him. "Sunset was a friend that we betrayed thinking she had gone back to her old ways... we refused to listen and kicked her out of Sugarcube Corner into the freezing cold when she tried to prove her innocent. That was the last we saw her alive... Turns out she returned to her apartment and took her life..." she told him before breaking down in tears. However, Link had stopped listening shortly after seeing the picture. "She looks familiar..." He said quietly putting his hand to his face in thought. Soon Link closed his eyes as a memory he long forgotten begun playing in his mind. ------------- Link stepped out of his house into the morning sun overlooking Kakariko village. “Better get to the Training Hall before Lady Impa shows up.” Link muttered before turning to his house and looking at the top floor. “HEY SIS!” He yelled as a young woman stuck her head out, her fiery hair in a mess. “Whats up Link?” She asked sipping her morning drink. “I'm heading to the Training Hall. Lady Impa wants the men to meet her down there for royal business. Think you can handle morning chores?” he asked as he put his training gear on. “Sure thing Big Brother!” she said smiling and went back inside to get ready for chores as Link left for the Training Hall. ------------- Link pulled himself out of the memory just in time to see Twilight burst into a fit of rage. "How COULD YOU BETRAY HER LIKE THAT!?!?" She asked in rage as she got in their faces. "SHE WAS YOUR FRIEND! SHE WAS IN A GOOD POSITION IN HER LIFE? WHY WOULD SHE JUST TOSS ALL OF THAT BACK IN YOUR FACES?" She yelled at them, causing Link to grab her so she did not attack them. It was at that point Applejack's sister and her friends walked up smiling. "Whats all the hubbub?" Scootaloo asked standing by her idol who was crying her heart out. Twilight was fumming as she looked at the trio. "How are you three calm during all of this?" She asked raising her eyebrow. Sweetie Belle smiled brightly. "Were just glad to have our sister's back!" She said hugging Rarity. Link stared at them in disbelief. "Your not even upset your sisters lost their friend forever?" He asked. "She deserved it." Apple Bloom said about to hold her sisters hand only for Applejack to turn around in shock. "How can ya say that Applebloom? She was innocent!" She yelled at her sister who kept smiling. "She was, but she still stole y'all from us. And after all she did to the school before ya'll hit her with that rainbow, all she got as punishment was a slap on the wrist." Twilight finally stepped towards the trio, eyes narrow and almost set ablaze. "It was you three, wasn't it? You three were Anon-A-Miss, weren't you?" She said so calmly it was scary. But they just kept smiling. "Ya, we are Anon-A-Miss." Scootaloo said triumphantly. Rainbow Dash stopped crying and looked at the three girls. "You did this..." her said, her voice so calm, but at the same time full of rage. "IT WAS YOU WHO GOT HER TO KILL HERSELF!!!" She yelled about to strangle her only for to be held back Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie. Applebloom grinned and tried to hug Applejack. "Isn't it great? Now we can spend all the time in the world together!" Twilight pulled Applejack back and stood in front of the trio rage burning off her. "You three are monsters... you know that? It sickens me to see how corrupt you three are on this side... Your pony counterparts did this once, but they never went this far, never got someone to end it all, and if they did, they would of at LEAST felt bad!" She said calmly as Link held her back. "Twilight... their not worth it..." he said causing her to turn in surprise. "They are lowest of the low. Right up there with the Demon king himself... they don't deserve your time, nor anyone's time." He said looking her dead in the eyes. "These girls, the ones who claimed to be your friends, while played the role of executioner, and deserve punishment, at least realise they were in the wrong." Twilight nodded and turned to the portal. "Lets go Link..." she said. Link nodded and stepped through the gate as she turned back around. "Before I go and return this gate to having it open every three moons, a word of advise. Seperate yourself from such evil. I'd hate for you to end up like those three..." She said before stepping through. "We won't help you with anymore magical mishaps again." --------------- Link got on one knee to Twilights level as she tore all the equipment off the mirror resealing it up. “I'm sorry this had to happen Twilight.” he said as she walked over carrying the journal she and Sunset wrote to each other from. “I just wish there was something we could do…” she said only to look at Link. “Hang on, the thing that brought you back, could it be used to bring Sunset back?” She asked hopefully. Link got up and pondered as he took out his Shiekah Slate. “It might be possible… however, how will we get it over there?” He asked looking through the functions on the Slate. Twilight stepped forward pointing to her horn. “ok, but that won't work on the other side. We need something to move it not just from the Chamber to the other world, BUT it must fit through the portal as well!” he said only for the Shiekah Slate to open up the map, showing a blue dot. “Hmm? What's this do?” he asked tapping the dot only for his body to break apart. “huh? LINK!” Twilight yelled diving at him only to break apart as well. ------------ Twilight fell on her stomach as they appeared in the Shrine of Resurrection. “W-Where are we?” Twilight asked as Link looked around. “This is where I woke up a few days ago… “ Linked said as the Shiekah Slate glowed as did the podium where Link obtained the Slate. “Guess it wants me to return it.” he said placing the Shiekah Slate onto it only for it to flip around until it laid screen up. “DOWNLOADING SHRINE OF RESURRECTION.” A computerized voice came from the Shiekah Slate. Twilight watched as the Shrine Link was in began to break apart like they did a moment ago as a pillar came down from the ceiling and glowed blue. Soon what appeared to be a teardrop fell onto the screen, signaling the download was complete. “Guess that solves that problem.” Link said pulling the Slate back out and onto his belt. “Now we need to hide it in the other world and place her in it.” Twilight nodded happily only to groan. “Which means I have to put the machine back together and risk bumping into those traitors.” Link shook his head. “I'll go to the other side myself. They won't recognize me as much as you. Plus gives me a chance to see if Rarity finished my repairs. ------------- Link stepped into Carousel Boutique only to spot Rarity walking to the door. “Oh! Link, I was just about to head towards Twilights! I'm finished with your clothes!” She said floating his clothes over. “Thank you Rarity. Give me a minute and I'll let you know how it feels. ------------ Link stepped out of the changing room a few minutes later stretching the new outfit. His blue shirt now had a sword design on it as well as the Triforce on the back of the neck as well. He now also had an undershirt with the sleeves going doing to his now glove covered wrists with an arm guard on his right arm. Finally, Rarity also made him a black hooded cape so he can hide his face when needed. “Well darling? How do you like your new Champions Tunic?” she asked in suspense. “Not gonna lie, this fits MUCH better than your first Tunic… No offense.” Link said trying not to anger her. “Puh-Lease darling, that outfit was meant for a young child, not an adult. The fact you could wear it to begin with is a miracle. Still, I might do an update on it for you in case the Champions Tunic falls apart.” ------------- Soon Link hopped back through the portal, now that it was night on the other side and opened up his Shiekah Slate. “Now to find the perfect spot to place you…” he muttered as he ran down the street away from the school as a mysterious figure watched from the rooftop. “Hmmm, so my theory was correct…” She said pushing her mask up as her one eye followed Link. “Shame I must destroy this “Champion” before he can save this dimensions Sunset…” she said before glitching out of existence. > Infinite > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Link hid behind a building as he saw strange machine’s moving across the street. “Great... I didn't realize how advanced this world was earlier.” He muttered as he watched the street clear before running across it. Taking out his Shiekah Slate, he did a quick scan of the area before coming across a small one room home. Reaching into his pouch, he pulled out a piece of paper he pulled out from what was labeled a ‘phone book’ and looked at the address. “This seems to be the place.” He said and walked up to the front door. Unsurprising, he found it to be locked. Grunting, Link ran around back only to spot a door leading into the basement. “That would be a great place to hide the Shrine.” He said opening the door and leaping down below only to be in total darkness. “Well... maybe there is a light switch down here.” He said feeling the walls only to hear a bone chilling laugh. “So... The famous Link, Champion of Hyrule, is afraid of the dark!” The voice said. Link spun around to the source of the voice only to see a red glow on the other side of the basement. “Who are you?” Link asked drawing his sword and shield out. The voice laughed again, as the glow begun to brighten revealing a masked face with only one eye visible. “You may call me... Infinite... In the brief moments that remain to you.” the masked figure said as the glow, now showing to be coming from a gem fused to the being’s chest, suddenly flooded the entire room, filling the air with a strange sound as the entire basement transformed into an arena. Link gripped his weapons as Infinite, revealed to be a female unicorn with phantom wings, landed on the ground before the Champion. “Im not gonna let you interfere with my plans for this world, as well as your own!” She said before a massive sword appeared in her hands. Link grinned as he leapt forward, slicing at the Unicorn only for her to vanish as the sword struck him in the side, knocking him to the wall. “What the hell?” He asked getting back up. Infinite stood before him laughing raising her blade up. “Guess that massive nap has worn you down.” She said swinging her blade down only for Link to block it with his sword, spinning his feet around knocking the Unicorn off her feet. Without warning, Link leapt to his feet pulling out his Shiekah Slate using the Stasis Ruin on Infinite and charged her, leaping up to strike her gem, only to be blocked at the last second as Infinite raised her hand and grabbed his sword. “Oh please. I exist outside of Time and Space you moron. You think a Stasis lock will work on me?” She asked before kicking the knight to the ground only for Link to pull out his bow and arrow’s and fired two at her hands, forcing her to drop his sword. “Not bad.” She muttered kicking the blade back at the Champion. “But your still far to weak to face me.” She said getting ready to vanish only for Link to grab his sword and swung his sword, hitting her mask slowly knocking it off. He then leapt into the air with his sword pointing skyward knocking her into the air before swinging it rapidly at her face smacking her mask around more before kicking her onto the ground and landing on her point first on her gem. However, She raised her hand to block the blade knocking the Champion to the side before floating back into the air. “Hmm... I underestimated you... No one has ever been able to actually land a blow on me without me letting them... Let alone five... Perhaps you will survive in your pathetic meaningless quest...” She said before pixeling out of existence. Link panted as the arena returned into the basement. “What was that all about?” Link asked as he put his weapons away. Looking around, he finally found the light switch and flicked it on revealing the empty basement to the young warrior. Pulling out his Shiekah Slate, he walked into the middle of the room as he selected the Shrine of Resurrection. “Hope this works.” He muttered as he activated the Shrine. Suddenly the basement began to rumble as the machine began to grow out of the ground and ceiling. “Well, that parts taken care of. Now... I need to get her in the Shrine.” He said making his way up the stairs only to look around her apartment. “Just who were you Sunset Shimmer... and why do you seem so familiar to me?” He asked picking up a photo of her and her friends. He dropped the picture onto the couch as another memory came back to him. ----------- Link ran onto the field of battle with his Hylian Blade and Wooden Shield as the army of Bokoblins charged onto Hyrule Field. “Great Hylia, where did these monster’s come from?” He asked as he begun swiping his sword cutting the Bokoblins apart before charging forward knocking the monster’s down before launching into a spin attack slicing more in half. The Hylian commander Impa noticed Link charging forward and shouted at one of the knight’s, “WHO IS THAT THERE?” The Knight turned towards Link in confusion as he saw the trainee suddenly leap into the air performing a spin attack before slicing the Bokoblins apart and landing down knocking more back. Impa ran over to the young knight as he sliced them back. “Young man, are you from the training hall?” She asked to which Link nodded only to block a Lizalfoes sword with his shield. “I heard the opposing army was overwhelming us so I thought it wise to lend a hand.” Link said. Impa leapt over Link pulling out her Giant’s Blade slicing the Lizalfoes head off. “Indeed we do. If only we had more trainee's like you.” She said to him as the duo made their way to the abandoned fort, only to be blasted by fire as a dragon landed in the fort, transforming into a knight covered in dragon armor and wielding a massive spear. “You two shall not pass!” He yelled before breathing a massive fireball at them, nearly burning them alive. “Heh...” the Dragon Knight said with a smirk only for two arrow’s to go flying past his head. “WHAT THE?” He yelled as a woman leapt over the fire shooting a barrage of arrows at him. “YOU LEAVE MY BROTHER ALONE!” The woman yelled as her hood fell off revealing a young woman with fiery red and yellow hair as she began to fire off round after round of arrows at the knight only to throw bombs into the mix as she knocked him into the door busting it open. “HOW DARE YOU ATTACK ME!” He yelled throwing the door aside getting ready to blast her with another fireball only for his first fire he shot at Link and Impa went out revealing Link standing over the Commander Impa sword out ready to fend off the Dragon Knight as his right hand was glowing with the Triforce. “Wha-Could you be... the chosen one?” Impa asked looking at Link as he charged forward to the Knight only to raise his sword skyward causing it to glow before bringing it back down to unleash a massive Spin Attack knocking the Knight near the mine’s before he transformed back into a dragon and flew away. He then turned his head towards his sister who was helping Impa up and yelled, “SUNSET, DEFEND IMPA! IM GOING TO HELP THE TROOPS OVER BY THE MINE’S!” ----------- “Sunset... Shimmer... was my sister?” He muttered asking himself only to watch as the room was filled with a bright light. Turning around, he watched as a woman appeared before him wielding a sword with two massive angel wings on her back. She had white hair with dark skin and was wearing light bulky armor. “Young Champion from another world, You seek out your long lost sister. We wish to help you and her out.” She said confusing Link. “We? Who’s we?” he asked as she had an image appear before her. “We are the Hellguard. Angels who are devoted to defeating the armies of hell. Your sister is supposed to be alive, as she has an important destiny to live up to, but now this entire world is at stake.” She said as Link nodded looking at his Shiekah Slate. “I brought over a machine that should be able to return her to the land of the living, though Im not sure how long that will take.” He said before picking up the picture he dropped looking at the girl he once knew. “You seem confused Young Champion. What seems to be the problem?” The angel asked floating behind him. Link turned holding up the picture. “I don’t know... My memory is sorta fuzzy... or fragmented if thats a better term. I can only remember bits and piece’s of my life from thousands of years ago, and i can remember even less of Sunset... My mind is telling me that something about her is wrong, but I cant figure out what it is...” He said head hanging low as he put the picture onto his Shiekah Slate only for it to disappear into the Slate itself. The Angel nodded before looking to the basement door asking, “If we stick her in the Shrine, is there a chance she will also lose her memories?” Link gave an honest shrug not knowing the answer. Sighing, the Angel folded her arm’s before turning to the basement. “Well we need her alive... So I suppose we have no choice in this.” She said heading there with Link following. Upon walking up to it, she started chanting before having a portal open before them. “Horseman! I have need of you service!” She yelled out into it. Link watched as after a few moments a crow stuck its head out of the portal and cawed at them. “Don’t give me that crap Dust. Tell your master we have need of his skills and that it shouldn’t take but a minute or two of his time.” Dust pulled his head back in and finally, a few moments later, Link watched as a pale man, so pale his skin should be rotting, hair black as sin, with a mask made of bone covering his face stepped out of the portal, his orange eyes flaring. “Just what do you want Uriel?” the man asked before noticing Link standing next to her and asked, “Who is he?” The Angel, known as Uriel, pointed to the Young Champion explaining, “This young man is the last champion of Hyrule, Link, and we need your services on retrieving his sister’s remain’s so we can return her to life.” The pale man turned to Link almost frowning behind his mask. “So, your the hero’s spirit reborn huh?” He asked stepping towards the Champion. “Hero’s spirit?” Link asked confused. The man walked to Link putting his finger on his chest. “You posses the spirit of the hero, and every time you go into the well of soul’s, you get dragged back out to face a new evil.” He explained before turning to the shrine. “Who am I trying to bring here?” He asked Uriel. “A young woman by the name of Sunset Shimmer.” She explained. Nodding, he raised his hand and begun muttering words under his breath. Suddenly the ground began to shake as a bloody hand pushed itself out of the earth. Link watched as soon a body began to follow. Soon standing before them were the remain’s of his long lost sister. “Wha... Where am I?” she asked, her voice sounding faint. “Sunset Shimmer, I have brought you back to your apartment to be resurrected the the young man standing by me.” The pale man said nodding to Link. Sunset blinked, her eyes empty as she looked at the pale man, Link, and Uriel. “Why... why would you try to bring me back to this nightmare of a world?” She asked them. Uriel stepped forward, explaining, “Miss Shimmer, my name is Uriel of the hellguard. We have information that states you are supposed to be alive to face and defeat an evil that has not come yet, but you taking your life has left no one left to fight. As much as I know it hurts you, we need you alive.” Sunset gave a small nod before looking at Link. “So why are you helping them out? What do you get out of this?” She asked. Stepping forward, Link grabbed Sunset’s bloody hands and looked into her eye’s. “I get my little sister back.” He said before hugging her remain’s. Sunset blinked clearly confused as Link stepped back. “Im sorry, but Ive never met you in my life.” She said shattering his heart. “You... don’t know me? How can you not remember me?” He asked only for the man to touch his shoulder. “We don’t have much time left. We need to put her in that chamber before her body falls apart.” Whipping tears he didn’t even know he was crying away, Link nodded turning back to Sunset. “I guess we can talk after you wake up and defeat this evil.” He said to which she nodded. “Looking forward to it.” She said before laying down in the chamber. “Thank you for this.” She said before her body stopped moving and she returned to being a body. Link pulled out his Shiekah Slate and placed it on the pedestal to close the chamber only for an error message to appear. “What the? Why isn’t it closing?” He asked turning around. The pale man had a scythe out all of a sudden and moved it slowly over Sunset’s body. “Her spirit is to weak. She wont be able to survive this.” He said as Link walked over. “What if I gave her part of mine?” He asked. The man turned to him pondering. “It could work. Your spirit is one of the strongest Ive ever seen... However, if we do this, She will then be bound by the same curse your spirit is bound to.” He said. Link turned towards Uriel and spoke, “It sounds like she already is.” Uriel looked down with a frown as the man nodded. “So be it.” He then muttered under his breath as Link saw a green orb appear before him. He then saw a red orb appear over Sunset, but with piece’s missing. The pale man raised his hand and had parts of the green orb break off and fill in the pieces that were missing before he sent the two orbs back to their owners. “Try now.” He said calmly. Link walked back over and placed the Slate back onto the pedestal getting an all clear message as the pod began to close. “Phew. It worked. Thank you Sir.” Link said. The man turned back and nodded. “Call me Death. Now, I think you had better return to your world.” He said before reopening his portal and stepping through only to turn to Uriel. “And you had better not summon me ever again Uriel.” He said before closing it. “Ass.” She said before turning to Link. “And he’s right. Im sure you have your own destiny to follow before you can meet her again.” She said before disappearing. Link nodded and ran to the basement exit before heading back into the apartment and grabbing a shirt and some pants for her and wrote her a note in Hylian, ‘Hope these fit you when you awake.’ He then placed them on a dresser and headed out. ----------- Twilight looked up as Link stepped through the portal, tired. “How’d it go?” She asked as he fell into a chair. “Well, got into a fight with a Unicorn who could stand on two feet, met an angel, as well as the Grim Reaper, and got to speak to the dead remain’s of my sister.” He said to which Twilight asked, “Sister? I thought you were going to go after Sunset.” Link looked down before pulling out his Shiekah Slate with the image of Sunset on it. “I did. Sunset... in another life for her... was my little sister.” “WHAT?!?!” Twilight yelled at him. Link sighed and begun to explain everything to her as she took notes on everything. “Hmm... I suppose Ill have to ask Princess Luna for some help on this. She’s the only one who can view a pony’s mind while they sleep.” Twilight said only for Link to yawn. “Which means Ill be seeing her very soon Im guessing.” He said tiredly only for a letter to appear in his lap. “What in the world?” He asked before opening it, unable to understand what it says. “I... don’t think I can read this.” He said handing it over to Twilight. Looking it over, Twilight’s eye’s widened before looking to Link. “It’s the princess’s second test! She says tomorrow to go into the Everfree woods and hunt down a structure in the center of the woods. Once you find it, the test will begin.” Nodding, Link stood up and began making his way to his room. “Guess I better get some sleep then.” He said. > Test of the Shrines > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Link sighed early the next morning as he stood outside the Everfree Forest. “You know, you dont have to go it alone...” Twilight said trotting up beside him. “True, but I dont want to risk anyone else in this trial. I dont know how dangerous this will be.” he said pulling out his Shiekah Slate. He watched as a blue static screen appeared on it only for a yellow dot to appear. “Guess thats where im going...” He said putting the Slate away. “Alright, well... be careful Link...” Twilight said opening her wings and flying back to her castle. Nodding, he put his hood back up and walking into the Everfree Forest. “I should be close by now...” Link said as he climbed up the side of the mountain, running low on energy before munching down a cooked Stamina Mushroom he found and baked earlier. Upon reaching the top, he finally ran out of energy and leaped up the final part of the mountain, thankfully grabbing the top before he fell to the bottom. Catching his breath, Link looked up spotting the remains of a castle up ahead. Gathering his strength, Link jogged into the castle following the yellow dot on his map until he came up to what appeared to be two thrones. He looked around in confusion not seeing anything. “What am I supposed to do here?” He asked only to see a circle in the floor glow blue before rising from the floor up to his hips resembling the podium he got the Shiekah Slate from. “Hmm... Interesting...” He said to himself before looking the podium over. Finally spotting the slot in the top, he pulled out the Slate and inserted it in before the top of the podium begun to spin and flip before settling and glowing blue. Link suddenly heard a computerized voice speak to him “SHIEKAH TOWER SYSTEM ACTIVATED PLEASE WATCH FOR FALLING ROCKS.” Link blinked upon hearing this. “Falling rocks? What is it-” He suddenly fell over as the two thrones fell over as a cage shook the ground around him forming around him as the ground suddenly forced him to the floor. The Dragon Lands The Princess of the Dragon Lands sighed happily munching on a gem stone from her stash as she floated lazily in a lake of lava. “Ahhh, this is paradise.” she said to herself, unaware as she floated over a glowing blue circle. She looked around as she felt the lake begin to shake. “Whats going on?” Yak Yakistan The entire town began to shake forcing the Prince of the yaks to fall out of his bed and rolled out the door. “WHOS SHAKING YAKS TOWN WITHOUT YAKS PERMISSION?” He screamed into the air causing the snow on his house to fall onto him. Growling he dug his way out and looked up at the mountain towering over his village as it began to crack. “Uh oh.... YAKS MOVE NOW!” Far to the east of Equestria A young Kiran with an orange mane stepped out of her home sadly as she looked around her mute village. ‘Theres got to be a way to fix this... Im going to lose my MIND if I cant speak anymore’ She thought to herself only to feel the ground around her shake . Looking down, she spotted a blue circle glowing beneath her hooves. ‘That cant be good!’ she thought only for the ground to explode beneath her and launching her into a bed of flowers. Mount Aris under the sea The queen of the Hypagriffs was laying on her shell throne sighing out of frustration staring at the jewel that turned her kind into Meriponies. “Sweetie will you PLEASE stop being so loud? Your making the entire place shake!” She snapped at her daughter who swam past her. “Huh? Im not making the place shake!” She said floating in front of her. The two of them noticed a glowing circle at the bottom of the chamber. “Uh, whats that?” she asked her mother only to watch the ground crack. Castle of the Two Sisters. Link grunted as he pulled himself up from the floor and looked around, now high in the sky now in a cage. “What happened?” he said walking to the podium, now with a blue crystal over it. “MAP FUNCTIONALITY REPAIRED. DOWNLOADING MAP.” a computerized voice said as the crystal began to glow. Watching, a tear drop soon appeared under the crystal before dropping onto the screen. Link looked over it as the map appeared before the area around him appeared on the map, showing off the Everfree Forest, Ponyville, and the outskirts of the area. The podium began to unfold and returned the Slate to him, to which he took it and reattached it to his hip. Before he could do anything else, a new scroll appeared in front of him. “Guess its time to start the test.” He said taking it and reading it. “Dear Link, I see you have found the ancient towers and reactivated them. However, what you may not know is this, but the tower you summoned has also made 3 shrines rise around the area. Your task is to go to them and solve their riddles. Do this, and I will officially deem you the true Hero of Hyrule.” “Alright then... so how do I get down from here?” Link said walking over to the edge. “Hehehe, Sure looks like a long ways down” He heard a voice tell him. Looking next to him, he spotted a girl with light blue skin, blue hair with dark blue strips, hylian ears, and a white, blue, and golden magelike outfit. “Wha? Whered you come from?” He said in surprise falling onto his back again. She giggled and helped him stand back up. “Hi there Link! Oh its SOOO great to see you again!” She said smiling, her purple eyes looking familiar to him. “Do... I know you?” he asked her to which she looked slightly away, her ponytail swishing around revealing she had an orange feather, a white cuff, and a sorta butterfly like hair tie holding her ponytail. “You did... though I doubt you would know me now. So lets start over!” She said going from sad to happy at the drop of a bit. “My names Sonata! Its a pleasure to meet you Link!” She said extending her hand, a large grin on her face. Link nodded and shook her hand in return tilting his head. “How do you know me?” he asked squinting his eyes. Sonata turned away as she began digging through her items. “Ill tell you some other time. For now, lets get you off this Tower.” She said before pulling out a paraglider for him. “Here! You can use this to get down from here!” she said putting it in his hands. “Ill meet you over there!” She said pointing to a camp site down at the base of the mountain in the gorge below and raised her hand having a summoning gate appear above her. “Before you head there, take a look around the area from here to see if you can spot the 3 shrines.” She said before having the gate drop on her, having her vanish. Sighing, Link started to look around the area trying to spot the new Shrines. “This would be easier if I knew what they looked like” he said before spotting what appeared to be a small hut glowing orange. “That might be it...” He muttered before pulling out the Slate and began placing an icon where the Shrine was before looking around the tower for the other two. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sonata appeared in front of the camp site brushing off some dust from her outfit and walked over to a log to sit on, opening another gate to have some food fall out of it and had it begin to cook as she watched Link leap from the tower opening his Paraglider and sailing towards her. By the time he landed, she had finished cooking the meal she had begun for them and was now adding it to some taco shells. “Glad you could join me! Taco?” she asked offering the plate to him. Sitting down, Link nodded as he took one and began to eat it. “So I take it you found the locations of the 3 shrines up there?” She asked before eating her own taco. Swallowing his food, Link pulled out the Shiekah Slate and pulled up the map of the area revealing the locations to her. “Yeah, they all seem to be forming a sorta ring around the area.” He said putting it back on his hip. “Well I say we head out after we eat!” Sonata said finishing her taco before grabbing a second one. “We? This is my test.” Link said finishing the current taco and looking at her funny. “Oh dont worry. Ill wait outside the shrines for you! Only the Hero can enter them anyways, and thats you, correct?” She said, her mouth full of taco. “I... guess so?” he said grabbing another taco. “And besides, you might be The Hero, but it never hurts to have a friend with magic powers by your side!” She said finishing her food before snapping her fingers and having a spell book land in her lap. Link squinted at the book thinking it looked familiar before she stood up and dusted off the back of her outfit. “Look, I know its hard for now, but you got to trust me. Im really here to help you out Link.” She said crossing her arms under her breasts. Sighing, Link stood up pulling his hood off. “Fine. Then lets get started then.” He said adjusting his arm guard and leading the way to the first shrine. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Celestia walked into her kitchen to get something to snack on when her eyes suddenly glowed blood red. “So... she has survived this entire time... I thought Star Swirl banished her eons ago with those two sisters adopted her... Guess Ill have to finish the job” she muttered to herself before floating her chest armor up to her face and pressed a button on it and spoke into it. “Activate and guard the shrines. Do not let the Hero and the white sorcerous anywhere near them.” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Link and Sonata stepped outside the edge of the Everfree Forest near where the first shrine was, only to notice it was on the other side of another gorge. “Guess I can paraglide over there now, but what about you?” Link said looking at Sonata. She grinned and waved her hand having a glass bridge appear over the gorge. “Itll be faster if we use this.” She said before running across it. Nodding, Link jogged after her. Not even halfway there they felt the bridge start to shake. Turning around, they saw a Guardian run out of the tree’s, crawling on all 6 legs before spotting them and began to charge up its laser. “Shit, GET TO THE OTHER SIDE!” Link yelled turning around as the pair began to run to the other side. Right at the halfway mark, the Guardian fired, missing them and hit the bridge instead, making it begin to shatter. Link and Sonata booked it as fast as they could to the other side, the collapsing bridge catching up to them. Right as they were about to make it, the bridge finally gave out and they fell to the cliff side. Suddenly for Link time seemed to slow down. Turning around, he noticed the Guardian was charging up another laser, this time at Sonata. Spinning around, he pulled out his bow and arrows and fired an arrow at the eye, shattering it. Time returned to normal as they landed on the side of the cliff, only to watch the Guardian malfunction from the arrow and fall into the gorge, exploding upon contact. “Well that takes care of that problem.” Sonata said before turning to Link watching as he began climbing up the cliffside. “You coming?” he said looking down at her. Nodding, Sonata snapped her fingers and her outfit changed into climbing gear as she leapt onto the wall beside her alley. The two quickly scaled the wall and soon found themselves standing before the Shrine. Returning to her normal wear with another snap, Sonata got into a defensive stand as Link stepped onto the shrine, spotting another podium and placed the screen of the Slate onto it. Suddenly the floor of the shrine went from orange to blue as the wall to the shrine opened up, revealing a platform inside. “Ill be back.” Link said to Sonata as he stepped inside, only for the floor to begin lowering into the earth. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Link watched as the elevator shaft soon revealed a massive chamber below the ground as he was brought down to the floor. Upon stepping off the platform, a mysterious voice spoke out to him. “For whomever has entered my shrine... insert the Shiekah Slate into the podium, and the trial will begin....” Nodding, Link walked over to the podium and inserted the slate into it as the crystal above began to glow, downloading something into it. Watching the tear drop into the screen, Link examined it as the screen shown off now the Runes screen, revealing two new Runes for him. “Bombs? I have... Remote Detonation bombs now?” he asked before the Slate was returned to him. Turning around, he spotted the floor had a ramp going down to a wall with cracks in it. “Hmm...” I wonder” he muttered before activating his new Bomb Rune, gaining a bomb and threw it at the wall. It slammed into it then fell to the floor. Link waited a few seconds expecting it to explode only to look at the Slate. “Am i supposed to do something else?” he asked before pressing the Bomb icon on the screen, causing the bomb to explode, taking out the wall. “Sweet Goddess Hylia, I can blow up my bombs whenever I want!” he said with joy before leaping down and running past the wall and turning left and threw another bomb at another stack of blocks before working his way further into the shrine. He then found a floating platform moving back and forth, with the other side filled with even more stone blocks in the way. “Hm, thought this was gonna be a challenge” He said cheekfully and set another bomb on the platform and leapt off the platform. However, the moment the platform moved, the bomb began to roll backwards and fell down below. “Uh, ok... lets see if this will work...” He said leaping onto the platform and riding it over before summoning another bomb and placing it there before leaping below. However, the platform began moving again causing the bomb to roll off yet again. “OH COME ON!” Link screamed making his way back up. Sighing, he looked at his Runes only to notice the second bomb, shaped like a square. “Hmm... I wonder...” He said to himself before summoning the square bomb and set it on the platform before leaping off. He watched as the platform moved across to the other side, the bomb staying there the entire time. Grinning, Link detonated the bomb and leapt across the platform as it came back. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sonata looked at her watch trying to figure out how long Link was in there. “He should of only been in there for a few minutes...” She muttered to herself only to feel the ground shake. Looking ahead, she gasped as she watched an army of Bokoblins charging at the Shrine. “Oh Crap... not these guys.” She said tightening her grip on her spell book. As they neared, she charged up a ball of electricity and threw it at them before having a wall rise up from where it landed and began shocking the Bokoblins. She then ran forward and leapt at the wall, kicking it and jumping off before throwing another ball at it, destroying it and scattering her enemies. Upon landing she lined herself up with about thirty of them before pointing her hand at them, causing six walls to shoot up from the ground before leaping from wall to wall, damaging them every time she flew past one before snapping her fingers shattering the walls killing them all. Turning around, she then leapt into the air as she summoned a cube to ride, stomping over her enemies and their broken bodies before kicking that and having it explode, hurting the remaining bokoblins. “Well, that was easy...” She said getting ready to return to the Shrine when she heard three Moblins run towards her. “Crap...” She said before snapping her fingers and having her Summoning Gate appear. The Moblins stopped in confusion as she started dancing in place humming a lovely tune before suddenly three Manhandala heads appeared from the ground and she aimed them directly at the Moblins having them fire a spray of seeds at them. At this time Link stepped out of the Shrine and ran over to her drawing his sword before stopping watching her dance. Something... about her... tugged at his mind.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Link charged at a Bokoblin and swung his knights sword at it, taking it down before unleashing a spin attack on a few more. He then turned with Impa and Sheik towards the Great Deku Tree. “Weve finally made it, and not a moment to soon...” Link said pulling out his shield only to spot energy orbs falling from the sky destroying more Bokoblins that were surrounding a fallen knight as a young girl leapt from one of the branches next to him and waved her hand over him, healing his wounds. “Your gonna be alright.” She said having him return to the battle before walking over to the newcomers. “Who are you three?” she asked stopping in front of them. Impa stepped forward, blowing her blonde hair out of her face. “I am Impa. This is Link, the chosen Hero, and Sheik. Weve come searching for Princess Zelda.” The girl examned the others before smiling, her blue hair with dark blue strips in it getting in her face before nodding to get it out of her face. “Ive not seen her. But if you help me, Ill return the favor and help with your quest. I know who’s really behind all the Monster attacks.” “Who is it?” Link asked stepping forward. Sighing, the girl turned around. “Her name is Cia... me and her... are sisters... Ill tell you more when we win this.” She said summoning her Spell book and running into battle. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Link watched as Sonata defeated the remainder of the enemies before walking over. “You ok there Link?” She asked curiously. Link snapped out of it and nodded. “Y-Yeah. I just needed to catch my breath is all.” “Well alright then. Come on. Its getting late. We should probably find somewhere to stay for the night.” she said turning to the town. Walking up to her, he pointed to the castle. “Princess Twilight will let us stay there.” he said causing her to nod. “Then to the castle we go!” she said cheerfully before running playfully to it. Link watched her run off before following after her. “It cant be her... could it?”
