"NO GOOD!" another soldier yelled as a creature came out of a portal." THEY JUST KEEP COMING!!!!"
"I can't shake them!!" a Flyer said being chased by flying creatures." I NEED SUPPORT."
"I NEED YOU TO FIND MY SON ADIMRAL!!!!!"
"He's missing, and so are the others." The admiral said
"IM HIT, I NEED SUPPORT!!!!" The flyer said
"WHERE'S OUR REINFORMENTS!!!!!!" A soldier yelled
"THE KING'S DOWN!!!!" another soldier yelled before getting shot in the head.

My name.....is Nights, That's all I remember. This dream has always haunted since I was young. I do not why. Every time I have this dream, I fell like I should remember what it means, I feel like I've seen some of the people in my dream before, but I can never remember, in a way, I feel like I'm....lost. My name is Nights, and I want to remember my past.
"NIGHTS WAKE UP!!!!" someone yelled banging on my door." OR I'LL GET THE DOG TO WAKE YOU UP AGAIN!!!"
"Just a minute." I said with a groan as I got up, the banging continued." I'M UP SPITFIRE!!!"
"Get dressed, Soarin and Fleet Foot are here, they wanted to see you off." Spitfire said as she stopped knocking." Be down in ten minutes."
"Got it." I said, then looked at my calendar and noticing the date." Thirteen years already?"
---Flashback, thirteen years earlier---
"So when will the portal work?" Spitfire asked as she watched people working on the circular machine." Doc?"
"Soon." Doc said with looking up form his device." It's amazing we got it almost perfect the first few times."
"Same." Spitfire said." Is the portal REALLY going to work this time?"
"Hope so." Doc said as the last piece was put in." If so, we will be able to travel to one point on the planet to another in a matter of seconds."
"I still prefer to fly." Spitfire said shrugging." But this is still pretty cool."
"You and your Wonderbolts." Doc said chuckling." How are the new recruits?"
"Soarin is getting the hang of it, but Fleet Foot could still use some work." Spitfire said crossing her arms." Lost three planes because of her."
"She crashed three planes?" Doc said surprised.
"She never made it of the end of the runway." Spitfire said laughing." Anyway back to the portal."
"Ah yes, once everyone clears out, I can activate it." Doc said before pushing a button." Please clear the room, activating portal in five minutes."
"So how are you testing it?" Spitfire asked as someone walked into the room." Oh, hey Iron wolf"
"Hey Spitfire." Iron wolf said then turning to Doc." So when will things be ready?"
"Any minute know." Doc said as the portal started activating." This test is going to be on how long it can stay open."
"What if it fails, like the first twentyy something times you've tested this thing?" iron wolf asked.
"That's the fun." Doc said chuckling as Spitfire and Iron wolf gave each other nervous looks." Activating portal.....now." he said as the portal gate began to spark and form some sort of orb in the middle of it."It working. HA HA IT'S ACTUALLY WORKING!!!!"
"Amazing." Iron wolf said as he stopped closer to the glass." You actually did it."
"I can't believe it myself." Doc said smiling widely, then turned serious after a beeping was heard." That's not good."
"What is it?" Spitfire and Iron wolf asked in unison.
"I believe something's coming through the portal." Doc said as the portal began to expand." BRACE YOURSELVES!!!!!" Doc yelled as the portal released a wave of energy knocking things over." That's new." He commented as the wave dispersed.
"WHAT!?!?" Spitfire yelled in rage." What do you mean new?"
"I mean that's never happened before." Doc said as as another wave of energy burst form the portal this time shaking the room." I suggest we leave."
"I agre..." Before Iron wolf could finish he was interrupted by the sound of glass breaking." SPITFIRE LOOK OUT!!!" he yelled tackling Spitfire as the windows of the viewing room shattered, sending glass in all directions. Then Spitfire yelled out in pain." You okay?"
"Some glass hit my leg." she said as blood ran down her leg." Doc, we need to get out of here." no answer." Doc?" Spitfire called as Doc laid on his side not moving.
"Doc, you alright?" Iron wolf said crawling over to him." Doc, listen to me." He siad turning him over." Oh no."
"What is it?"Spitfire asked worried.
"Doc's dead." Iron wolf said as he looked at Docs face, as blood pooled under his head." I guess we're stuck here."
"Not until the portal shuts down." Spitfire said as another burst of energy came from the portal, shaking the bulding again, but this time a crackling sound followed." That's doesn't sound good."
"It looks like its about to blow." Iron wolf said peeking over the monitor." And Doc was right, something is coming through."
"Then get down!" Spitfire said as iron wolf ducked back down as the portal began to glow brighter." HANG ON!!!" Spitfire yelled as the portal sent out a shockwave and a blinding light shone as the portal dispersed." Is it over?"
"I believe so." Iron wolf said as the light faded." need some help?"
"Much appreciated." Spitfire said as Iron wolf helped her up." I may need some help getting out of here."
"Got ya." Iron wolf said he draped on her arms over his shoulders, then looking at the portal gate." Something's down there?"
"I see it too." Spitfire said looking in the same direction." Looks like a person."
"It's a child." iron wolf said as they entered the portal section." Hey, kid, you alright."

"Over there." Spitfire said pointing towards a chair with wheel." Set me in that and you can push me out, but first check in the kid."
"Okay then." Iron wolf said flipping the chair back up and letting Spitfire sit in it." Kid you okay?" he said approaching the child, now noticing he had dark blue hair and was wearing a brown leather jacket and black jeans." Kid, what's your name?" he asked tapping the kid on the shoulder, as the kid groaned."You hurt?" Iron wolf asked as the child turned over and looked up him." Kid?" the kids eyes went wide." Please don't scream."
"AAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!" The kid screamed in fear backing up quickly." WHO ARe YOU?!?!?, WHAT DO YOU WANT!?!?!"
"Kid calm down." Iron wolf said as the kid backed into a tipped over desk." My name is Iron wolf, and that over is Spitfire, we're here to help you."
"Are you sure?" the kid asked nervously." Do you know where I am?"
"You're in a lab, in a place known as Crown city." Iron wolf said as he slowly got closer." What's your name?"
"N-Nights." Nights said as Iron wolf said kneeling down.
"How old are you nights?"
"I'm four." He replied.
"Where are your from?" Iron wolf asked." Your family must be worried about you?"
"I don't remember." Nights siad sadly." I don't remember where I'm from either."
"Don't worry." Iron wolf said as he stood and picked up Nights." Let's get out to here."
"Don't forget about me." Spitfire said as she stood up and limped over to them, supporting her self with a pole of some kind." Let's go." she said as they made their way out of the lab.
"So what do we do with him?" Iron wolf asked as they walked at a fast pace down a corridor." We can't leave him alone."
"I'll take care of him."Spitfire said sadly." I don't even want to put him in an orphanage, I know what's its like to be alone."
"Well tell whoever is waiting outside that." Wolf said as they pushed open the doors, immediantely being helped to an ambulance." I'm fine, it's Spitfire who needs help."
"Ma'am come with me." one of the paramedics said leading her over to one of ambulances." We can get you patched up."
"Thanks." Spitfire said noticing all the police cars and fire trucks." Who else got out?"
"Everyone except doc." One of the lab workers said." Do you know where he is?"
"He was killed by the blast." Spitfire said sadly." His body is still in the lab."
"We'll let his family know." One of the police officers said." You and your friend came out with a child, is he related to anyone?"
"You means Nights?" Spitfire asked pointing over to Nights who was sitting next to wolf." He told us he can't remember."
"Well if we don't find his family, we might have to send him to an orphanage."
"No." Spitfire said glaring at the officer." I'll take care of him." "You'll need to sign some paper work then." The officer said." Thanks for your help."
---Present, nights--- "First day of high school." Soarin said as I came down the stairs getting my jacket on, which was black and high red streak in the chest." Excited?"
"I can hardly contain my joy." I said sacrasticly." If middle school wasn't bad enough."
"C.H.S is a nice school." Fleetfoot said." You'll love it."
"You said the same thing about the last school." I said grabbing an apple." I hated it."
"I promise you." Fleet foot said as I sat at the table with them." Don't you ever smile?" I just stared at her." never mind."
"So Spitfire." Saorin said as Spitfire came in." Exicited for our show this weekend?"
"Of course." Spitfire said, " Matter of fact who wouldn't be?"
"I kinda am." I said messing around with my necklace, which had Spitfire's family symbol." Even though I don't seem like it."
"So do you think that criMMMFF!!!!" spitfire put a hand over Fleet Foots mouth before she could finish, glaring at her." What?"
"Who do you think who will what?" I asked.
"Nothing." Soaring said as Spitfire stepped out." Fleet Foot was just asking if that Rainbow dash girl will be there."
"Mostly likely." Spitfire said from the other room."Time to go Nights."
"Bye guys." I said picking up my bag." I'm ready."
"Nights, listen." Spitfire said as we drive towards the school." Try to make friends this year, please?"
"Can't promise anything." I said with a sigh as we stopped in front of the school." Anyway see you later."
"See you( slam)...later." Spitfire said as I got out." Please control your self." ----C.H.S--- "Welcome to C.H.S." Principle Celestia said as students entered the school." Just head to the gym."
"Just perfect." I thought to myself. "Trapped in a room with people I don't even know."
"Move it changeling."someone said behind me." You don't belong here."
"Leave me alone." Another voice said." Please."
"Yeah we'll leave you alone." the first voice said as I got closer." When your not around anymore." he said picking some girl up by the collar of her shirt." Now you listen here, your not liked here, your not welcome here."
"Leave her alone." I said approaching him." So what if she's a changeling."
"And what are you going to do about......it." The bully trailed off as he try to intimidate me, he was just a little bit shorter then me, but I still towered over him." your a big fella."

"You alright." I said turning to the girl as he picked her stuff up." Need some help?"
"Please." the girl said as I helped her pick up her books, she had green hair and yellow eyes."'I'm Green Song."
"Nights." I said handing her the last book." Anyway, I gotta get to the gym." I said as began walking off." I'll see you around."
"Wait." Song said blocking my path." You just helped me, is there anything I can do as a favor?"
"Nope." I said as I walked around her." Now please...."
"Want to be friends?" she said blocking my path again." Please?"
"No." I said as she look at me sadly." listen, not trying to be mean, I'm just not good around people."
"Oh, alright." Song said sadly." But can I stick close to you at least, because of what happened."
"I don't care." I said as we walked to the gym." Do you know what's going to happen?"

"Again, no." I said as I went to find a place to sit." She too nice for her own good."
"HIYA, IM PINKIE PIE!!!!!" A voice yelled almost making me go deaf." WHO ARE YOU?!?!?!"
"Nights." I said rubbing my ear." Nice to meet you?"
"Thanks!" Pinkie Pie said smiling widely." Enjoy the party, and smile."
"She scares me." I said as Pinkie bounced off." A lot."
"That's just Pinkie, being Pinkie." a guy said walking over to me." I'm Ryker."
"Nights." I said as we shook hands." So far this school is quite interesting."
"You have no idea." Ryker said chuckling." Do your ever smile?"
"No." I said scowling." I don't."
"Okay then." Ryker said nervously." I'm going to go over there, see ya."
"Hello and welcome to Canterlot high." principal Celestia said as the music stopped." Now if everyone will calm down we can get started." she said as students started finding places to sit." Again, welcome! It's wonderful to see some familiar and yet new faces in our school."
"I hate it already.".I thought to myself as I sat down. "I'd take Soarin's training then this speech."
"So without further ado, We'll go row by row, I'll give you your schedules and you can go to your first class." Celestia said as the first row got up." Next row."
"Hey again." Song said sitting next to me." I miss anything."

"Sorry, anyway we just have to wait our turn and we get our schedules." I said as the row in front of us got up." We're still not friends, but I will help you when you need it."
"Thanks." Song said as our row go up." I wonder what our first class is?"
"I honestly don't care." I said shrugging as we left the gym." The only class I'm interested is robotics."
"My dad likes to experiment with robots." Song said as we stopped at a table to get our schedules." He builds some cool things."
"That's actually sounds cool." I said interested." Not to sound rude, but is your dad a changeling?"
"No, he adopted me, my real mom died when I was a baby." She said sadly." What your parents?"
"Like you I'm adopted." I said as she looked at me surprised." I never knew my parents, I don't know if there alive or not, I just can never remember."
"I'm so sorry." Song said as I looked at her." it doesn't bother you?"
"Not anymore." I said with a shrug." what's your first class?"
"Music." Song said." you?"
"Same." I said as she showed me her schedule." We have the exact same classes."

"Atleast fifteen years." Beat said shrugging." It was because of my job."

"Nights calm down!" Spitfire said as I stood up." Please."
"Now kid, please listen to Spit." Crimson said as I I stood right in front of him with an icy glare." Listen I know your mad, but hear me out."

"I was gone for awhile for work, Spitfire will tell you the same thing." Crimson said nervously." I'm not aloud to say, but I can tell you it was business."
"I believe you." I said as Spitfire let out a sigh of relief." But if you do anything to hurt this family, so help me I will end you."
"I'm pretty sure I get the message." Crimson said as I backed up." I understand you hate me."

"He wasn't always like that, he acted the same when he was younger as he does now." Spitfire said sighing." He just got worse over the years."

"Nights you alright?" Spitfire called down the hallway." I'm going to go check on Nights." she said as she walked towards my door." Nights?" she said as she knocked." You okay?"
"Go away." I called quietly." You can't see me like this."
"Nights, what's wrong?" Spitfire said bit worried." Please let me help."
"Come in." I said loud enough for her to hear." Just......be prepared for what your about to see."
"I'm coming in Nights." Spitfire said as she opened the door and blue colored mist poured out." Stay out here."
"You got it." Crimson said as Spitfire entered my room." You okay Song?"
"I'm fine." Song said with a worried tone." but I want to know if Nights is okay."
"I'm sure he'll be fine." Beat said hugging her." It will be okay."
---Nights room--- "Nights?" Spitfire called as she entered my room, then closed the door behind her." What happened?"
"I don't know." I said as I hid my face from her view on the other side my bed." I don't understand."
"Nights, look at me." Spitfire said as I just kept looking away from her." Please?"
"Are you sure?" I said standing up." I don't want to scare you."
"Nights, your from another world, that us humans don't know about." Spitfire said as approached me." To most people that would scare them, but not me."
"Are you sure?" I said facing her, causing her to gasp." I don't know what's happening?" I said sighing, my eyes were glowing a bright blue with white dots for my pupils, and glowing white lines zig zagged all over my face." But I remember something."
"What?" Spitfire asked as I sat back down." What do you remember?"
"Where I'm from." I said sadly." Im from someplace called...Annaieria."
"It doesn't sound familiar." Spitfire said as I put my head in my hands." but we can find out."
"How?" I asked." If we try to find out, we could risk showing the world who I am. What I am."
"You're not a what." Spitfire said placing her hand on my back." You're a person, not some unknown thing."
"Let's hope your right." I said standing up." Also I can do this." I said forming a ball of energy in my hand." I don't know how, but every time I do, it feels natural."
"We'll find out." Spitfire said hugging me." Is it okay if I ask Crimson for help?"
"I don't mind." I said as Spitfire let go." I'll be out, once this is all over." I said pointing to my face." And tell Crimson I said sorry.
"I will." Spitfire said as she left my room.
"How is he?" Song asked as Spitfire walked over to them." Will he be okay?"
"He'll be fine." Spitfire said as song smiled sadly." but it's time you two know the truth about Nights."
"What do you mean?" Crimson asked ." What about him?"
"He's not from our world." Spitfire began." He's from another world, some place called Annieria."
"So my brother is an alien?" Song asked." THAT'S COOL!!!"
"An Annirian." Crimson said of himself." I don't know what species that is."
"But can you help find out?" Spitfire asked." Nights wants to know too."
"I say check the library." Crimson said shrugging." Its a good place to start."
"Can I go?" Song asked smiling." I want to help too."
"I don't see why not." Spitfire said as I exited my room." everything under control?"
"Yeah." I said sighing." So we're going to the library?"
"Only place I can think of." Crimson said." want to start there?"

"I say we split up." Crimson said as he picked up a random book." Where did the librarian say the books about Annieria were?"
"Up stairs in the sci-fi sections." Spitfire said as I shot a glare at the liberian, who didn't notice." Sorry Nights."
"Don't worry about it." I said as we went up the stairs." I wouldn't blame people for thinking my kind is science fiction."
"And yet we live in a world of superheroes." Song said." Hypocrites."
"I don't think their being hypocrites kiddo." Crimson said." They just don't understand."
"Alright, but still." Song said as we reached the Sci-fi section." So where do we start?"
"Anywhere at this point." Spitfire said as she picked out a random book." So what are we looking for exactly?"
"Anything about Annieria." I said walking over to a shelf." There could be very little information."
"What about Annierians?" Song said catching us by surprise." Because I think I found something." she said pulling out a book." Anneirans: fact or fiction?"
"Talk about luck." Crimson said as Song gave him the book." What do you think Nights?"
"It's right about the fact part." I said smirking." What does it say?"
"Let's see." Crimson said opening the book." Interesting, it says here Anneireans are very skilled with magic and....ki?"
"I don't even know what that is." Spitfire said shrugging." Keep going."
"It also says...." Cimrosn trailed off." Nights, are you sure you want to know about your race?"
"Yeah, why?" I asked seeing the nervous look on Crimsons face." It's bad, isn't it?'
"It says here that the Anneiran race disappeared almost excatly one hundred thousand years ago." Crimson said sadly." nobody knows what happened to them, except all that was left......was nothing, not even any remains."
"Then unless i was pulled from my time by that portal." I said sadly." I might be the only one left."
"So Annierians originated from earth then?" Spitfire asked." Or did they come from someplace else?"
"Annerians never orginated from earth." Crimson said turning the page." They came from another dimension?"
"I'm sure that's what make it science fiction." Song said looking at the book." So Nights, you're not just a being from another world, you're from a whole other dimension."
"So there could be more." I said hopefully." But what dimension?"
"It doesn't say." Crimson said looking through the book." But it does say Anneirans are good with music."
"You did play Johnny B. Goode during music class today." Song said." Did you practice?"
"Nope." I said as they gave my surprised looks." What?"
"I didn't know that you played music." Sptifire said shocked." Why didn't you say anything?"
"Why do you think I'm always listening to music?" I said as Crimson continued looking through the book more." I thought you knew."
"I didn't." Spitfire said as her phone buzzed." Just perfect, I'm sorry but I have to go."

"Kalmar Igby was the first member of my family." I said pointing to the first image." I don't know any of the others, but I diffently remember this one." i said pointing to a image of a man with light blue hair with a red streak through it." I can't place it."
"Hey there's a name." Crimsons said pointing to a word." Shadoc, Shadoc Wingfeather."
"Wingfeather." I said looking at the name." Is that my last name?"
"Could be." Crimson said as I handed him back the book." It says here he had two sons, the eldest named Maxwell, and the youngest named.....Nights." he said as I felt like time slowed down." and according to this, the wingfeather family was royalty." "My father was a king?" I asked shocked." What's next dragons?"
"Hey look they were also dragon riders." Song said as I looked at her shocked." That's interesting."( thud)." You're carrying him." she said after I fainted.
"Just perfect." Crimson said as he put the book back, noticing who the author was." Huh, A.K. Yearling." ---???---
"So a Wingfeather is alive?" a figure said keeping out of sight after I fainted." it can't be." He said as Crimson picking me up and they left." Best if I follow them, If this is indeed a Wingfeather, Then the world is ready for a new hero."
---Home--- "Ugh my head." I said waking up." What happened?"
"You fainted after you found out about your family." Song said sitting in a chair across from me." Apparently you're royalty."

"Crimson Beat?" the person said, he had brown hair and brown eyes, the same shade as his hair." My name is Swift Blade, I'm here to talk about Nights."
"What about him?" Crimson asked suspiciously as he crossed his arms." What do you know?"
"I knew his father." Swift said as I came out of my room hearing the news." And what happened to his race?" ---D.E.O, ??? Pov--- My name is Nights. A voice said in the darkness. Help me to remember.
"Nights?" I called into the darkness." Where are you?"
Friends to the end, eh Midnight. a voice said as I saw a flashback of me and Nights as colts back in equestria.I hope to see you again.
"But when?" I asked myself quietly." I'm stuck in this dimension." then the darkness was lighten up but a bright light." What?" I asked as the as everything went black and earth appeared below." What is this?"
"This is earth." a woman said in my head." Your friend Nights is here, he's alive."
"He's here?" I asked the voice." How?" "I do not know, but he won't remember you." The voice said." He lost his memories when he arrived, saved before his races destruction." "But I'm in a coma." I asked." I'm kinda useless right now."
"Then wake up." the voice said." Find Nights, help him to remember."
"How can I..." I said before I opened my eyes and saw the ground below me." Wake up."
"When will this thing wake up?" a armored guard said in front of me." Super girl didn't seem to like us tying him up like this." he said as I nicked my restraints, some chains held my arms out while some heavy thing was attached to my back." But Hank Henshaw said that this creature or whatever it is pretty powerful."
"And yet he was put into a coma by supergirl." The other gaurd said chuckling." I don't think he's that strong."
"I agree." the gaurd said looking at his watch." Shift's over, let's go." He said as they walked off and one of them dropped a tooth pick." Can't wait to see the kids."
A perfect chance. I thought as I saw the tooth pick.Just gotta focus my magic and... I whispered as I used my magic to levitate the tooth pick." Time for a jailbreak."
There I sat on the front porch waiting for Spitfire to return. I wonder where she is and what's taking her so long. I thought as the street lamps began turning on one by one. Finally I saw the familiar headlights of Spitfire's bright red Cadillac pulling around the corner. So I did the only logical thing I could think of. I walked inside as she gathered her things together returning with two ice cold Granny Smith's Hard Cider and waited for her on the porch.
"Ugh." She groaned out as she flopped down in the rocking chair next to me. "Sorry I'm home so late honey something came up at work."
"That's fine the kids are in bed asleep. They insisted on staying up late to wait for you to come home with me but they have school tomorrow whether they like it or not." I said humorously as she grinned.
"That's true." She replied as she put her right hand on my left hand. "I'm really glad you're home Crimson it has been rough especially with Nights. He talks to me all the time but not to the level of parent and child."
I looked in her eyes and smiled. "Well you gotta realize he is from another dimension he knows he doesn't belong here in this dimension and he survived while the rest of his people sadly didn't last."
She just sat there in a pool of sadness as she squeezed my hand harder. "I know but I just wish he'd talk to me more."
"Honey do you remember what happened three years ago before we moved here with 'Him'?" I asked as I looked her in her amber eyes.
"How could I forget it changed my life forever for better." She chuckled as she smiled at me.
I just looked out into the darkness before us. "It was a really serious accident Spitfire 'He' could've killed people and I did nothing except for let it happen."
"And I still love you to this very day no matter what happened back then." Spitfire said in a stern yet loving voice.
I just looked at her and smiled. "Well Nights felt like me after the incident he feels scared and all alone. He doesn't believe he has a family, but if we show him he does with us he may open up more and we can figure out what's happening here." I said trying to give her some hope even if it was a little.
"Yeah I know. So how was your business trip? I'm assuming Rainbow was happy to spend time with you?" Spitfire questioned me.
"Well she did enjoy herself and so did her friends from school I talked to my employer and they agreed to let the come just in case I had to leave for some important business." I explained to Spitfire.
However, before she could even reply we heard the screeching of tires and saw a bright light heading towards us. "Shit." I said annoyed because only a speeding car would head towards our house at 3 o'clock in the morning. I jumped up from my chair and headed to the guard rails on our steps. The two decorative pieces at the top peeled back as I approached only to show two buttons. The car somehow thankfully sped towards us in a straight line.
"Crimson do something it's coming for us." Spitfire said in a frightened tone.
"Not yet." I said in a calm and confident tone.
In a matter of what felt like seconds the car began to enter our yard. As soon as it touched the grass I slammed both buttons down with al of my might which caused two magnets the size of dump trucks to appear both in front of and behind the car. The magnetic fields were positioned just right in order to slow the car down almost instantaneously without jerking at all. Hopefully whoever was driving didn't get whiplash.
"Oh my goodness are they okay?" Spitfire yelled as both me and her ran towards the car.
I reached my hand in the window and felt the drivers neck checking for a pulse. Thankfully it was only a couple milliseconds later and there was the pulse. "Yeah they're fine go inside and get a first aid kit and the guest room ready." I said to Spit as I reached inside and pulled out the passed out girl in the drivers seat. Her face was dirty and so was her red and yellow hair.
"NO!!!" I yelled as I woke up in a cold sweat." Not again." I said with a groan. Why do these nightmares keep happening. I thought to myself as someone knocked on my door." Who is it?"
"You okay?" Song called form the other side." I heard you yell."
Crap I thought to myself." I'm fine." I said getting out of bed." I'll be out soon."
"Okay, also mom said she needed to talk to you." Song said as I got changed." And not to go into the guest bedroom."
"Thanks." I said as I opened the door." And what's this about the guest room?"
"All I know is we can't go in there." Song said shrugging." Good luck."
"I'll need it." I said as I walked to the living room." You called?"
"Hey Nights." Spifire said." We need to talk."
"So I've been told." I said sitting down." What about?"
"Why don't you talk to me?' Spitfire asked as I looked at her." I mean..."
"What's on my mind?" I asked as she looked at me surprised." Trust me when I say, you don't want to know."
"Well I do." Spitfire said sternly." Up until you were six, you used to be nice and cheerful, then you started pushing people away, why is that?"
"I tried to tell you when I was younger, but you were always busy with the Wonderbolts." I said sadly." Then Iron Wolf disappeared, and....."
"And what?" Spitfire asked concerned." Look I know you miss Iron Wolf, but there's more isn't there?"
"When I turned six I've been having these nightmares, every night." I said sighing." I just had one last night as well."
"Why didn't you say anything?" Spitfire said shocked as I looked away." I could've taken you to someone for help."
"They've been same up until last night, the others I could've handled but this one...." I trialed off." ....was different."
"How different?" Spitfire asked worried.
"I could actually see things I couldn't before." I said as I remember my nightmare." What my home looked like, what my people looked, what wiped them out."
"What wiped them out?" Spitfire asked seeing the sadness in my eyes." Could you describe it?" "Better yet." I said as I grabbed a piece of paper and a pencil." I can show you." I said as began drawing." I like to draw things instead of describe them."
"Let me know when you're done." Spitfire said getting up." I need to call the school an tell them you won't be making it today."
"Why?" I asked looking up.
"Because I'm taking you to someone who can help." Spitfire said picking up the phone." His name is Hank Henshaw."
---A few minutes later-- "I'm done." I said handing her the picture." Just looking at it gives me the creeps."
"What is this thing?" Spitfire asked looking at the picture." One you're an amazing artist, two do you know what it is?"
"I don't." I said sadly." But that's only one of the creatures I saw, some had swords and other had magic."
"At least we have an idea on what they look like." Spitfire said as Song walked outside." I need to take her to school and then we'll go see Hank."
"Whose Hank?" I asked as Spitfire closed the door behind her." Never mind then."
"Oh hey Nights." Crimson said walking in form the garage." Have you seen Spitfire?"
"She left." I said turning on the T.V." She'll be back soon."
"Well maybe you could help me?" Crimson said as he entered the living room." I've been working on something that might interest you."
"Like what?" I asked without looking at him.
"I understand you have powers." Crimson said as I looked at him." I made something that could help you harness you powers."
"Tempting." I said as Crimson walked back to the garage." Screw it, I'm coming."
"Perfect." Crimson said as we entered the garage." Here are the gloves, they actually allow you to control your powers mid-fight ." Crimson said handing me the gloves, they were black and had wires and two buttons one each one." The blue buttons are the on, and the red is off."
"Okay." I said putting the gloves on and turning them on." I feel a little different, but not much."
"Then they're working." Crimson said as I balled my hands into fists." Like 'em?"
"I do actually." I said as I spread my hands back out and focused my powers into my right hand." They're pretty comfortable too." I said as a ball of energy formed in my hand." Do these things have time limit or something?"
"Yeah they do." Crimson said as I dispersed the ball of energy and turned the gloves off." Once I complete them, not only will your powers be enhanced, but you will control them better."
"Cool." I said as Spitfire walked in." You're back quick?"
"The school's not to far, remember?" Spitfire said as I handed the gloves back." You two getting along?"
"We are." Crimson said as I walked out." You say something to him, because he seems different."
"I did." Spitfire said as she walked out." We'll be back, also check to see if Sunset is okay."
"I will." Crimson said." Find anything out about what could've happened to her?"
"No." Spitfire said with worry." I didn't."
---Night of Sunset Shimmers attack--
"This is some much better then working at the run down newspaper place." a man with a green suit covered in question marks, with matching hat and a cane with a question mark on top said." Maybe I should go back and kill the man who fired me."
"Bye girls." a girl said with red and yellow hair as she walked out of Sugarcube." Ill see you tomorrow."
"Or maybe I could have some fun." the man said smiling evilly as the girl walked to her car." Riddle me this." The man said to the girl." What is a girl like you doing out so late when there's evil afoot?"
"Oh hello." Sunset said being startled by the man." I was just with some friends, you are?"
"My name is not important." The man said smiling." Care for some riddles?"
"What's the catch?" Sunset asked.
"Oh no catch." The man said." Here's the first riddle, We're five little items of an everyday sort; you'll find us all in 'a tennis court'."
"I've heard this one before." sunset said." Is it..vowels?"
"Correct." the man said clapping." next one, Mr. Van Jones, why are you like a clock at midnight?"
"Because both of your hands are going straight up, right now." Sunset said smiling.
"Correct again." the man said clapping once more." I could go all night, but you probably can not, so last one, Riddle me this, riddle me that, I am the first on Earth, the second in Heaven. I appear two times in a week you can only see me once in a year. Although I am in the middle of the sea, l am not found in month, but l am in February, June, September, October, November & December. What am I?"
"Let's see." Sunset said began to think." Is it, no that's not it."
"Times awaiting." The man said as he pulled a canister." You only have one try."
"I'm afraid I don't know." sunset said shrugging." Sorry."
"The answer was E." the man said as he hid the canister in his jacket." But thank you for trying."
"No problem." Sunset said smiling." What your name?"
"Well since you must know, They call me....The Riddler." The Riddler said chuckling as Sunset began turning pale." You've heard of me, haven't you?"
"I have." Sunset said as she slowly began making her way to the car door." Now, I'll just be on my way and...."
"Not. so. fast." The Riddler said putting his cane in her path." I have one more riddle, What's red and yellow, and soon to be no more?" he asked as Sunset eyes filled with fear." No answer?" The Riddler asked as Sunset shook her head no." The answer is......YOU!!!!" he yelled as he spared whatever was in the canister in her face causing her to start coughing." Now you have about one minute before this toxin takes effect."
"What..(cough, cough) was that?" Sunset asked as she leaned herself against the car.
"Something from a friend of mine." The Riddler said smiling evilly." it's called fear toxin, but it's a special kind, once you wake up, you won't remember what happened here tonight." He said before laughing evilly." Sweet dreams." He said as Sunset got in her car and drive off." It's feels so good to be bad."

"Ow my head." Sunset said as she opened her eyes." What happened?"
"You nearly crashed." Crimson said as he handed her some water." You're lucky enough that I was outside at the time."
"Thanks." Sunset said drinking the water." You're Rainbow Dash's brother aren't you?"
"I am." Crimson said as Sunset handed him back the cup." Do you know why you almost crashed last night?"
"No I don't." Sunset said sadly." I remember leaving Sugarcube, and that's it, sorry."
"It's no problem." Crimson said smiling." If you do let me know, I called Rainbow to let her know you're okay."
"Thanks again." Sunset said then gasped." I do remember one thing, it keeps going through my head now."
"What?" Crimson asked.
"Some voice saying 'riddle me this'." Sunset said as Crimson faced filled with fear." What?"
"Sunset, you just survived an encounter with The Riddler."
"So why do we have to see this Hank guy?" I asked as we got into Spitfire's car."Also who is he exactly?"
"You know I have another job outside of the Wonderbolts right?" Spitfire asked as I nodded." Hank is the guy I work for."
"Are you talking about the job that your not allowed to talk about?" I asked as Spitfire sighed." I take that as a yes."
"The company I work for is known as the D.E.O." Spitfire said as I looked at her confused." Department of Extra normal Operations we deal with people like you with powers, dimensions, and planets."
"So anything...not human." I said as Spitfire looked at me nervously." Anything else I should know?"
"He works with Supergirl sometimes." Spitfire said as I looked at her." and He's also Martian Manhunter."
"So I'll be working with two superheroes then?" I asked as Spitfire nodded." Song is going to flip."
"Why?" Spitfire asked.
"She's a fan of Supergirl." I said as I leaned back in my seat." Kinda wish we didn't have to do this."
"Don't worry." Spitfire said as I looked out the window." Hank's a great guy, he'll help you, I promise."
"Or lock me away." I said as Spitfire looked at me confused then looked back at the road." This D.E.O sounds a lot like a place they lock away aliens."
"They only do that if the alien is a threat." Spitfire said." And I promised that they won't do that to you."
"I hope so." I said quietly as I closed my eyes as I fell asleep to make the long ride quicker.

"This is new." I said as I found myself in a white void. Probaly another nightma... my thoughts were interrupted as I moved my hand, which was now a hoof." I'm either high or drunk." I said as I tried to stand on my two legs only to fall down." Something's not right." I said I looked over myself, and realized that I was a pony." Well.......this could still be a nightmare."
"This is not a nightmare." a voice said coming from all around me." So do not be alarmed young Wingfeather."
"Okay, voices inside someone's head is the first sign of insanity." I said trying to find the source of the voice." And last time I checked, I'm sane."
"Your sanity is fine." the voice said as I sighed with relief." Let me introduce myself, I am Princess Luna."
"I thought you were a vice principal." I said as it turned around to see a blue alicorn." What am I looking at right now?"
"Like I said my name is Princess Luna." Luna said as my eye twitched." And you are in the dreamscape."
"But why are we ponies?" I asked looking at my hooves.
"Because I managed to breach our two realms momentarily so I could talk to you." Luna said as the void turned black and filled with stars." I also come from the same world as you do young Wingfeather."
"One, my name is Nights." I said after being annoyed by being called 'young Wingfeather'." and second, your from Annieria too?"
"I am not, I come from Equestria." Luna said as her horn glowed and a planet appeared in between us." This is our home, planet Equis, and this.." She said as a country glowed blue."...is Equestria, my home."
"This is one beautiful planet." I said as I looked at the image." Can you show me Annieria?" I asked." I'm asking because..."
"You want to try to remember your past." Luna said finishing my sentence." I can and I will." she said as another country glowed blue, it was much smaller Equestria, and it was surrounded by water." This is your home, the shining isle."
"Thanks." I said as I looked at Annieria." But I wish this would help me remember."
"This won't." Luna said as I looked at her." but I know what can."
"You can help me?" I asked as Luna nodded." How?" "With a certain type of spell." Luna said as I looked at her confused." I understand your confusion, But this spell will help you remember."
"What will happen other then getting my memories back?" I asked as Luna horned glowed." anything bad?"
"You'll wake up." Luna said as she touched the tip of her horn to my head." Be prepared for what your about to see."
---Real world---
" Hey Nights, wake up." Spitfire said as I began to wake up." We're almost there." she said as I opened my eyes and looked out the window." Just a few more minutes."
"Thanks." I said as I leaned forward rubbing my head." What time is it?"
"About midnight." Spitfire said as she turned down a gravel road." Sleep well?"
"I did actually." I said then remembering what happened." I had a weird dream."
"About what?" Spitfire asked concerned." Was it a nightmare?"
"No, it was...." I trailed off sadly." I remember."
"Your dream?" spitfire asked." Or..."
"Everything." I said as a tear rolled down my cheek." From my home's destruction, to my fathers death, I remember it all."
"I'm so sorry." Spitfire said as we stopped." I can't imagine how you must be feeling." she said hugging me.
---National city---
"HAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!!!" a maniacal laughed rang through the night of the city." National city, what a beautiful place." a man in a purple suit, with green hair and face painted like a clown." Now where could that Scarecrow be?"
"Right here." Another man said as he stepped out of the shadows." I'm surprised you came Joker."
"I just had to come, when you said something about a fear toxin being able to bring down Bathead, I just had too." Joker said before laughing again." Now when can I have it?"
"As soon as its ready?" Scarecrow said as a car drove by." Also keep it down, I heard from the Riddler that Crimson Beat's wife is in town."
"So he won't be to far behind then." Joker said as his tone turned stern." On top of that, The D.E.O is not too far from here, and then there's Supergirl."
"She won't be a problem." Scarecrow said pulling out a green gem." We just have to use this, and she down for the count."
"Perfect." Joker said smiling." But not only do I want revenge in bats, I also want revenge on Crimson."
"How so?" Scarecrow asked." What all has he done?"
"He works with some people that hunt down the Changelings." Joker said angry." So every time I try to find them, he's already there." "I see." Scarecrow said rubbing the bottom of his mask." I say we strike him wear it hurts."
"I'm thinking the same think." Joker said chuckling." Now, do you know the location of the D.E.O?"

"Welcome back Agent Spitfire." A tall black man said as we walked in.
"Good to see you too Hank." Spitfire said smiling." This is Nights." she said pointing to me." He's the one I told you about."
"I see." Hank said as he walked over to me." It's an honor to meet you Nights." Hank said as we shook hands." I understand you've been having a problem."
"Depends." I said as we let go." This kinda thing is usually for a therapist, but Spitfire said you could help me with these nightmares."
"I know what you mean." Hank said as he crossed his arms." But when she sent us a photo of your picture of this creature in your nightmare, we just had to get involved."
"Do you know what it is?" I asked." I mean, I just got my memories back and I don't even know what it is."
"It's known as a Dremora." Hank said." A demon."
"So a demon race wiped out my people." I said sadly." I wonder what could've sent them."
"The ways of the Dremora are and never should be known." Hank said sighing." I'm pretty sure you've heard this before, but I'm sorry for what happened to your people."
"It's fine." I said shrugging." At least I know what happened to them."
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!"A laugh echoed though the base as all the screens turned to an image of a clown face with green hair and a horrendous smile." GUESS WHO'S BACK!?!?!" a voice said for the screens.
"Joker!?!?! Here!?!?" Hank said surprised." How did he hack our systems?" "I don't know." one of the agents said as he tried to get back into the computer." He manages to lock us back..ARGH!!!!" the agent yelled in pain as he was electrocuted by the keyboard.
"Don't touch that dial." joker said laughing." I have an Important message." Joker said as men in green and purple outfits with clown masks walked in with guns." I just came for revenge on a certain somebody." He said before started laugh again." Can you guess who?"
"Listen here Joker, You think you can just waltz in here to take revenge on me, you got another thing coming." Hank said as the Joker laughed again." What's so funny?"
"Oh no it isn't you I want revenge on, even though you work with the league." Joker said evilly." It's Crimson Beat actually, I know he doesn't work for you, so I decided to go after his wife, and I know she's there."
"You know with a simple push of a button, Supergirl will be here in no time." Hank said as I noticed Spitfire push a button on her watch." What do you plan on doing then?"
"Oh don't worry, I have Scarecrow taking care of her." Joker said smiling as he walked." So now then, if Spitfire will just come with me, then nobody will be turned in Swiss cheese." We all just stood there in horror waiting for a next move. "What's wrong everybody?" The Joker asked solemnly. " WHY SO SERIOUS?!" He yelled as he looked at me.
"What are you looking at freak show?" I said glaring at joker." And why do you want Spitfire?"
"My, you full of spunk aren't ya kid?" Joker said." It's not me who wants her."
"But you just said...." I said as joker interrupted me.
"I know what I said, you see I'm working with a certain somone with the same hatred for Crimson." Joker said smiling." You've probaly heard of her, Does the name chrysalis ring any bells?"
"You mus be desperate if you sided with her." Spitfire said as she stopped forward." I'll go."
"That was easy." Joker said as two henchmen walked over to her and grabbed her." But first, who's is this boy with you, related?"
"I never met him until now." Spitfire lied." He's nothing."
"Okay then, take her." Joker said as the two henchmen dragged spitfire out." As for the rest of you, sweet dreams." Joker said laughing as he walked out and the door closed behind him, and some sort of mist started filling the room, causing us to blackout.
"What happened?" I said sitting up after Joker released the gas into the room." Oh right, Joker and.......JUST PERFECT!!!!"
"Calm down kid." Hank said as he stood up." We'll find Spitfire." He said as he helped me up." Do you need a ride home?"
"I can manage." I said sighing." Spitfire gave me the keys to the car before she was taken." I said as I finally realized why The Joker came here." If Joker doesn't kill him I will."
"Who?" hank asked as I began to walked out.
"Crimson." I said as I slammed the door behind me." He has a lot of explaining to do."
---Few hours later---
"When are mom and Nights going to be back?" Song asked as she stretched out on the couch.
"Sometime today I think." Crimson said as he sat in a chair." National City is a good couple hours drive away." He said as I pulled into the driveway." And their back."
"I wonder how it went." Song said as she heard the car door slam." I wonder if they got to see Supergirl?"
"Possibly." Crimson said I opened the door." Hey Nights how'd it....WHOA!!!!" he yelled as I threw a punch at him." What was that about?" He said as I jabbed at him which he dodged again as he tripped me." Nights, what wrong?"
"Care to explain why The Joker showed up in National City tonight?" I said glaring at Crimson." And kidnapped Spitfire."
"Wait..WHAT?!?!" Crimson said as I stood back up." What do you mean Spitfire was kidnapped?"
"I'm pretty sure I made it clear." I said as my body filled with rage." Not only that he's working with Scarecrow and Chrysalis."
" She's back." Crimson said in a low tone so soft you could barely hear it. As my body shook with anger I tried to tackle him to the ground but to little success. Before I could grab him he gripped my arm and propped it on his shoulder. I had no idea what was happening until my feet left the ground only to be reunited with it with a solid thump.
"How can I be calm when Mom was taken by some psychopath, working with some woman who hates the country." I said as Crimson looked at me surprised." And Joker said he wanted Spitfire because both him and Chrysalis want revenge."
"I see." Crimson said as I stood back up." Listen, I need to go, In case something happens while I'm gone, Song, there's something in the workshop for you on the top shelf, and for you Nights, did you get you memories back or deal with the nightmares?"
"Memories, yes, nightmares, I don't know." I said as Crimson nodded and began walking outside." You better have a plan."
"Nights, what happened?" Song asked as she looked at me with fear." Why did you attack dad?"
"Because he's the reason mom was taken." I said as Song gasped." I know."
"You called Spitfire mom." Song said as I looked at her surprised." Also what will we do if Joker comes here looking for dad?"
"Let's hope that doesn't happen." I said as I went to the workshop." Let's find that thing that Crimson was talking about." I said as we entered." He said top shelf right?"
"He did." Song said as she looked around." These are some cool gadgets."
"They are." I said as I pulled a box down with Songs name on it." Found it."
"Should I open it?" Song asked as I handed the box to her." I wonder what it is?"
"Open it then." I said as I grabbed the power gloves that Crimson made for me." Maybe it's some sort of weapon." I said as Song opened the box." Well?"
"It's some sort of suit." Song said pulling out a shimmering black and green cape that could almost wrap around her."I wonder what it does?"
" I don't know." I said with a confused look on my face." Oh wait here are some directions."
" What do they say?" Song asked eagerly. The directions said for her to imagine an animal or body modification. She complied and all of a sudden she turned into a green and black dog. She couldn't hold the form for long but it was still amazing. Then there was a knocking at the door.
" I wonder if that's dad he may have forgotten something." Song said as both of us were wondering who it was. When we got to the door we could see almost everybody in the neighborhood heck the whole town outside our house. Cautiously I opened the door to be surprised by who I saw before us.
"I have a riddle. What do you call two high school students who open the door when their parents aren't around?" Said a mysterious man in a full green suit." Time's up kiddies. The answer is..... Bait!" Suddenly he whipped Spitfire out from behind him with chains wrapped around her.
" Are you working with him?!" I screamed as I could feel my powers surging through the gloves.
" Sorry little boy but there will be none of that." A dark deceptive voice above me said. I looked up only to see a dark figure I know all too well jump down and throw something at Song as she stomped on my head. The pain was so intense I couldn't even yell for help. However, I could hear Song scream.
" Did you know that changelings are extremely weak when it comes to electrical shocks?" Chrysalis said as she threw both of us onto the ground in front of our mom.
" Now to show all of you we aren't joking around these two will be made an example!" As the last words left the Riddlers mouth I felt a strong kick to my stomach. The first hit hurt but this pain was unimaginable I tried my best to stay conscious.
" Can I finish them now?" Chrysalis asked very annoyed.
" Yes we are done with them." The Riddler said.
She grinned as she put on her own gloves then suddenly her hands turned into two giant swords which she aimed above our heads like she was playing golf. Then she let out a dark laugh which turned to screams of utter pain. I looked up only to see the purple hue of changling blood fly into the air as her two hands were separated from the rest of her body.
" AAAAAHHHHH!" She screamed in front of her." Who dares challenge the Queen of Changelings?"
I looked up only to see a cloud of dust with something else coming out of the bottom of it. What is this dark blue mist? But before I could get away from it Song and I were covered it in. Then I felt my body sizzle. But it didn't hurt that bad it was like putting hydrogen peroxide on a scrape. I looked around trying to see who was doing it only to see Spitfire begin to cry. The other thing I noticed about her was she was.... smiling? I couldn't tell for sure because of the clothe over her mouth but I knew she was smiling as she looked at the mist. I followed her gaze only to notice the giant figure standing in the middle of the dust covered in... an extra skeleton?
" What's wrong Chrysalis I thought you were used to being butchered by me?" The mysterious figure said. His voice was like twenty different grown men with the deepest of voices talking at the same time.
" Show yourself peasant!" She yelled at the figure.
" If you say so you royal bitch." The mysterious man said as something on his back appeared and blew the dust away. A couple minutes later I could see what it was they were wings.
Wait... WINGS?! I thought to myself. I wiped my eyes and realized it was true, but they weren't bird wings they resembled those of a bat or something. And the man himself was scary looking. He was dark purple and green with black eyes with red pupils had a yellow flaming skeleton surrounding him and had color changing... mist?
Then the look of anger on Chrysalis's face went from that of anger to pure hatred." You?!" She yelled at me as everybody else who was watching gasped.
I regained enough strength to mutter a single sentence." Who... Who are you?" I asked the mysterious man. " Take it easy Nights and the name is..... Grimstone." He said. Then he glared at chrysalis with his black and blood red eyes." And as for you! Are you ready to die again?"
" AAAAAAHHHHH" Chrysalis screamed as she trembled with her decapitated arms in front of her. Then as she continued to scream the tops of them began bubbling only to spring to life as her new hands seconds later.
" That's new," Grimstone said in a impressed tone.
" You learn a couple of things when your body parts get lopped off multiple times." A gasping Chrysalis commented.
" Let's get this over with just give her back and you get to keep your head on your shoulders this time." A very bored Grimstone ordered.
" No it's time we finish this once and for-" Chrysalis began giving her speech before she was interrupted by the sound of cloth being torn to pieces only to look down to and see I shallow five clawed slash mark in her pants.
" The next cut won't be so shallow." Grimstone said in a very annoyed attitude.
" How dare you?" Chrysalis yelled as she charged Grimstone with her blade hands flailing. However her attack was to little success. As soon as she reached him he disappeared and then next appeared on the tip of her blade.
" Is that all?" Grimstone said laughing as he grabbed the blade in one of his clawed hands and snapped it in half. Chrysalis let out a gasp of pain as she was being lifted and slammed into the ground repeatedly.
" Please no more." Chrysalis managed to let out after the pummeling she took.
" Oh now the iron queen begs for mercy?" Grimstone said as a twisted sadistic smile over took his face." Sorry your majesty but I don't know the word mercy after what you did to me." After he let out the last word a cloud of white mist enveloped him. Once it cleared out he was covered in scars from various tools. The most gruesome was the one above his right eye. It lead from the top middle of his forehead all the way to his temple. " Now time for me to repay you!" He yelled as he got ready to slash her face to ribbons.
" Please don't do it...." A small and tired voice let out.
I looked up and realized that Green Song was behind him and hugging his waist.
"Song get away from him." I muttered out as loudly as I could.
" Kid you don't know what you are doing." Grimstone said loudly as his claws got closer to Chrysalis's face.
" Please." Song said as tears began flowing down her face.
After about fifteen minutes of contemplation Chrysalis exploded into a puff of black mist. After this the only thing I could remember was seeing Song pass out and I soon followed.
" Ugh my head." I said as I woke up in my bed only to hear talking downstairs. So naturally I decided to walk down and see what was happening.
When I got downstairs I saw Spitfire, Green Song and a mysterious figure in the kitchen which was completely dark.
" Uh what happened?" I asked in a drunken manner.
" Well you see after you two passed out I was freed and Grimstone and I tended to your wounds as the neighbors helped clean up the yard." Spitfire said in a calm voice. Her cheeks had little streams of where tears had flowed.
" Sit down Nights I need to tell you and Song something." Grimstone said demandingly.
I didn't want to listen to him, but he did save our lives so I owe that much to him. After we all sat on the couch next to Mom he came out of the light in front of us.
Suddenly he was enveloped in a bright crimson red mist. After the mist lifted I had not expected that he was our savior.
" Crimson?!" I said loudly as I looked at him shocked.
" Yes it is me." He said nonchalantly." It's time for me to tell you all the truth."
" The job I was on before I got home was a assassination on Chrysalis. I was told by my employer that she was raising an army and I had to stop her. When my team of four and I got there we were ambushed by her minions. I was the only one left the rest of my men were killed gruesomely. So I was taken before her in a dark room so I could be her little guinea pig. After a couple days of torture I started hearing voices and little did I know that it was actually Grimstone trying to let me enter my body and use it like a vessel. So I agreed and I passed out. When I woke up I was standing over Chrysalis's decapitated body." He said calmly.
" I never meant for my business to intervene in our life and I truly am sorry for this. I had no intention of letting you see Grimstone like this." Crimson said as he started getting angry.
" Spitfire we need to go see Hank now." Crimson said as his face grew stern. Spitfire nodded.
" Wait how do you know Hank Henshaw?" I said as I felt like I missed something important.
" It's simple you don't think I only had one person try to hire me as a hitman before do you?" Crimson said as he grabbed the keys and headed towards the door.
"Who's the guy in the kitchen?" I asked Crimson as he was about to open the door.
"A....Friend?" Spitfire said as I gave her skeptical look as the figure stepped out." He's from Gotham." She said as I noticed the figure had a bat like helmet." I'm pretty sure you know who he is."
"I'm Batman." Batman said as Green Song came out of her room, then noticed Batman." Sleep well?"
"And I thought my life wasn't strange enough." Song said as I rolled my eyes." I'm just going to...(thud)." Green Song said as she fainted.
"Oi vey." I said annoyed as I walked over to her and picked her up." What next?"
----The future----
Need to go back in time a girl in her mid twenties thought to herself as she ran through the ruins of the once known as the Crown City. "Can't let Him find me." She said quietly as she ducked into a ruined house as she pulled out a Communicator." Green Song to base, anyone there?"
"Glad to hear from you." A voice said from her communicator." Any luck?"
"I got it." Song said sadly pulling out a gem." I'll be back soon."
"What about the rest?" The voice asked as Song sighed sadly." He showed up again, didn't he?"
"Ender, Melodia, and Tremoring, all dead." Song said as tears started forming in her eyes." We need to stop him."
"HOW?!?!?!?" The voice shouted as song quickly turned down the volume." Dark killed every superhero and former villain that stood against him, Even cri...."
"Please don't mention dad." Sing said interrupting the voice." At least he had a chance against Dark before he died."
"I understand." The voice said." Anyway, what's your location?"
"I'm in an old house on West street." Song said as she peeked over the rubble." To be exact my old house." She said sadly." Red Wolf?"
"Just head down the street then take a left." Red said as Green Song ran down the street." And you'll see our base."
"Got it." Green Song said as lightening started flashing." Oh no."
"What is it?" Red asked as the lightening started turning purple." He's here isn't he?"
"What do you think?" Song said as clouds started moving In a circular motion." He's zoning in on my location."
"GET OUT OF THERE!!!!" Red yelled as the clouds and lightening struck behind her knocking her of her feet." Hang on, I'm on my way."
"I'm almost there." Song said groaning as she got up as the clouds dispersed." Don't worry."
"Hello." A voice said from behind her as she gasped." Guardian."
"He's here." Song said quietly into the communicator." Dark Nights is here." she said facing Dark, who wore a black gi with red, and his hair was a very dark blue." I may need that help."
"Welcome back." Hank said as we entered the D.E.O H.Q.." Crimson didn't expect to see you again."
"Hello to you too." Crimson said shaking Hanks hand." Been awhile."
"It has." Hank said chuckling." Still interested?"
"What are you talking about?" I asked confused." Crimson?"
"Let's just say the people I work with now, weren't the first ones to hire me." Crimson said pointing a thumb towards Hank." we go quite a few years back." "Your hiding a lot of things then." I said glaring at Crimson." All the more reason I find it hard to trust you."
"Hey hank..( Whack).." An agent said scaring me as I punch him cross the room."...Ouch..."
"And your aren't?" Crimson said smirking as I gulped." Nights?"
"I could never do that before." I said as the agent got up." Sorry about that."
"At least you apologized." The agent grumbled as he walked off." Last thing we need is two super beings in this place."
"What else can you do?" Hank asked as I shrugged."What abilities did your people have?"
"Super strength appairently." I said pointing to the agent who immiedently ran." But from what I can remember, Some could fly, some had super speed, And a few were werewolves, but they were part of the royal wolf brigade."
"Since when do you know all this?" Crimson asked looking at me surprised." So you weren't joking when you said you got your memories back?"
"I wasn't." I said as I gave him a deadpanned look as Spitfire and Song walked in.
"Hey Dad." Song said ." Hey Nights."
"I'm guessing you saw supergirl." I said noticing the big smiling on her face." I spotted her when we came in."
"We did." Spitfire said chuckling." But can somone explain what's up with agent Williams?"
"Nights punched him." Hank said as Spitfire gave me a glare." Across the room."
"I'll have to talk...repeat that last apart." Spitfire said as she looked at Hank confused." Nights did what?"
"I somehow punched agent Williams across the room." I said shrugging as Song and Spitfire looked at me wide eyed." Well we live in a world with flying people and other thing, but me punching someone across a room is shocking?"
"Why am I surprised?" Spitfire said face palming." You are from another dimension."
"Exactly." I said sighing." so why are we here exactly?"
"To find Joker and Chrysalis." Crimson said as Hank pulled up a picture on a computer of Crown City." If Riddler was in Crown City, then others should be there as well."
"What others?" Song asked as she stepped a little away from me." Other villains?"
"Sadly yes." Hank said sighing." Not just from Gotham, but other places as well."
"Luckily we have a few ideas who might've showed up." Crimson said as I looked at the screen." Killer croc, Zod, Zoom, Harly Quinn, Bane, the Music Miester, the list goes on."
"You called in help right?" Spitfire asked." other than Batman?"
"We called in Superman, Flash, and a few members of the Teen Titans." Hank said as he turned into Martian man hunter." And of course there's me."
"And you Me and Nights to help." Song said as she turned into a cat." We can help right?"
"Not yet." Crimson said as Song turned back into herself." Nights needs to control his powers." He said as Spitfire handed me the power gloves." Could these help?"
"Let's see." I said putting them, only for them to spark." Maybe not?"
"I'll have to fix them." Crimson said as I took them off and gave them to him." They should not have done that."
"We'll have to talk about that later." Spitfire said as Cirmson put the gloves down." We need to come up with a plan to...."
"Uh mom." Song said as Spitfire turned around." Where's Nights?"
"He was just here a second ago." Hank said as they looked around." Where could he have gone?"
"Um a little help." I said as they looked up and Song burst out laughing." I don't know how to get down." I said as I floated upside above them." Suprise?"
"How?" Spitfire managed to say." You know what, I'm tempted to see if we can open the roof."
"Please don't." I said as I struggled to stay in one spot." Can't you fly Hank or can Supergirl get me down?" please not the last part I thought to myself." Any ideas?"
"I got ya?" Hank flew up and pulled me down." Now how to get you to stay down?"
"Why are you asking me?" I nearly shouted as I started floating again." HALP!!!!" I yelled as Hank grabbed my foot." Thanks."
"Try thinking heavy." Crimson said as I just looked at him." Try at least."
"I tried already." I said as I sighed, then began lowering towards the ground." I may need some practice."
"What caused you to do that in the first place?" Song asked as I shrugged.
"You did mention some of the Annerian race could fly." Crimson said." Maybe your one of those Annerians?"
"Well my father was one of the Strongest." I said as I clenched my fist." Maybe I unlocked my power on that night when I started glowing blue?"
"Maybe?" Spitfire said as I opened my hand." Try doing that thing you did on that night." She said as I looked at her confused." You know when you formed that ball of light in your hand.'
"You mean this?" I asked as I formed a blue ball in my hand then dispersed it." So I now just unlock my powers, what's next?"
"Let find out." Hank said as he lead us out of the room." We begin by seeing what you can do, and train you so you can control you powers."
"Sounds fun." I said smiling." The sooner, the better."

"So that back fired?" joker said as Chrysalis entered the room." Horribly."
"We have bigger things to worry bout other then Grimstone returning." Chrysalis said as she sat down." I noticed something or someone?"
"Whom?" Joker asked as he leaned forward." Was it one of those brats who thought they could take you and Riddler?"
"Yes actually." Chrysalis said she typed something in her computer as a video showed on her screen." The boy."
"The one with blue hair and the purple eyes?" Joker asked as he got up and walked over to her and looked at the screen." he does looks does look familiar, doesn't he?" joker said as he squinted." Imagine him with a red streak and lighter blue hair." Joker said as chrysalis eyes went wide with fear." You see it too?"
"It couldn't be." Chrysalis said as her hand started trembling." It is impossible."
"It's indeed possible." Joker said In a stern voice." This boy looks a lot like Shadoc Wingfeather."

"Hello....Guardian." Dark said as Green Song looked at him with fear.
"He's here." Song said quietly into the communicator." Dark Nights is here." As Dark looked at her." I may need that help."
"Spitfire is already on her way." Red Wolf said as Song got up." Try to stall him."
"Been awhile hasn't it Guardian." Dark said as Song charged a ball of energy in her hand." Just give me what you stole and I may let you walk away in one piece, or two."
"Why should I listen to you?" Song said with venom in her voice." You're driving us humans to near extinction."
"Us humans?" Dark said as he smirked evilly." Last time I check you're just a hybrid, and the humans deserve what I'm doing to them."
"What could they have possibly done to deserve to be wiped OUT?!?!?" Song yelled as she threw ball of energy, which Dark knocked into the air with ease.
"The humans are causes of war and havoc." Dark said as he folded his arms behind his back." Why can't you see that?" Dark asked as Song clenched her fist in anger." Humans are nothing but a pest to the universe. Your so called heroes were fools to believe they are worth protecting."
"WE AREN'T PEST!!!" Song yelled in rage as she lunged towards dark." RAAAHHH!!!!" She yelled as Dark teleported behind her and kicked her into a wall." Since when..."
"I gained the ability to teleport after I hunted down the one known as Sunset Shimmer." Dark said smiling as song gasped." She thought she stood a chance, along with her team that tried to stop me."

He said as he charged a dark purple ball of energy in his hand." To be honest, I've respected you, you've done all you can to stop me, and failed all those times, but never gave up." He said as he aimed the ball at Song." I'll probably regret killing you, you were quite the opponent." He said as a gunshot was heard and something hitting him in the back of the head." I see your help has arrived." He said as he dispersed the energy and looked behind him." Well if isn't Spitfire, I see your still kicking."
"Song get out off here." Spitfire said firing at Dark again, only for him to catch bullet." Red has something for you back at base."
"So Red Wolf is alive as well?" Dark said chuckling." You humans may be pest, but your full of surprises."
"Like this?" Spitfire said as she pointed above Dark." I hope you remember Grimstone?"
"How could I forget?" Dark said as his smile disappeared." I guess I'll have to kill Green Song another Da-OOFF!!!!" Dark said as he was tackled by Grimstone." Hello again old timer."
"Hello again Nights." Grimstone said as Dark roared in rage kicking him off." Don't like being called Nights?"
"I've become accustomed to the name Dark Nights." Dark said as he grabbed Grimstone and threw him." I'll settle for killing you today."
"Song let's go." Spitfire said as she helped Song up." We need to get out of here."
"Dad doesn't stand a chance." Song said as Spitfire looked at her confused." Dark found Sunsets team, He killed her."
"What does that me?" Spitfire asked in fear." What did Dark get from Sunset?"
"He can teleport now." Song said as tears fell from her eyes." Nothing can stop him." She said quietly as Dark knocked Grimstone into the ground." He's not Nights anymore, He's not who we knew anymore."
"I understand." Spitfire said as they stood outside of an entrance." GRIMSTONE WE NEED TO GO!!!"
"Give me a minute!" Grimstone said as he knocked dark back." Now let's.(shrink)...go."
"NO!!!!" Spitfire yelled as a blade stuck out of Grimstone's chest." CRIMSON!!!!"
"Thank Swift Blade in the afterlife for me for the new blade." Dark said as he pulled the blade out." And I thank you for the new abilities." Dark said as a he powered up and a dark blue aura surrounded him." Now that I have your powers Grimstone, nothing on this planet or Equis can stop me."
"Don't count me out yet.." Grimstone muttered." It's been awhile since we sparred and I had a lot of time to practice my techniques and here is a new one!" He yelled as his body became pitch black except for his red eyes. His arms and legs disappeared only to be replaced with chains that wrapped around Dark.
"What are you doing?!" Dark yelled as Grimstone trapped him. Dark began getting irritated at something." What is the meaning of this why can't I teleport?"
" Haha you honestly think this is the first time I ran into your kind? No it isn't every man has his secrets. Be warned this has a kick to it." Grimstone said with a smirk on his face.
" No Crimson don't use it please!!" Spitfire yelled as Song tried desperately to hold her back.
" Spitfire and Green Song the two special women in my life. I have adored the times we spent together Spitfire with you as my wife and best friend even all the fights and petty arguments we had. Green Song my special little girl I have enjoyed watching you grow up and become a real woman, I enjoyed all the times we played in the yard, the times we stayed up a little late watching movies over the summer, and my most prized memory was of you graduating. I could never be more proud. I love both of you." Grimstone muttered through tears that flowed down his cheeks like waterfalls.
"Dad please stop talking like that you aren't going to die we can help yo-." Before Song could finish she felt her mother tightly grasp her shoulder. Song looked up and saw Spitfire crying. Then it hit her like a freight train.
"Dad." Song said sobbing as Spitfire tried to pull her towards the entrance." Why?"
" I'm sorry honey but your dad has to do this for all of your sakes." He then turned to Dark." And as for you my powers are going to disappear from your body like a vapor."
" What are you playing at old man?" Dark yelled as he tried desperately to struggle.
" Sacred technique 'Dark Rose'!" Grimstone yelled as his body started to break apart and fragments chipped away as a black light started shining.
"NNNNOOOO!!!" Green Song yelled as she watched her father shatter to pieces.
Grimstone just looked at Song and smiled the tears he was once shedding began to evaporate. His body soon followed. The only thing that remained was a unconscious Dark Nights where the two battled it out. And a devastated little girl who was being carried away by her.
"We have to go back we can't just let Dad die like that!" Green Song pleaded as she fought Spitfire trying to get out of her solid grasp.
Spitfire didn't respond she just kept walking to H.Q.
"Say something damn it!" Green Song yelled as she didn't want to accept what just happened.
"Enough Green Song! He knew what he was doing and so did I." Spitfire finally barked as she grew tired of the constant yelling. "What do you mean?" Song asked suspiciously.
"He told me he had been training in secret in order to perfect the Dark Rose technique, however the only downside and side effect he couldn't get rid of was his body would be sacrificed for it to work." Spitfire said as she walked in the doors of their headquarters and started walking towards Crimson's old workshop.
"Why are we here?" Song asked questioningly.
"Crimson told me that he had something for you that would change everything about our world. Only you can use it." Spitfire said as she opened up the electrical box and flipped a switch that was covered in green tape. Suddenly the floor opened up to reveal a pure black suit covered in panels that could make it appear invisible.
"What is this? Green Song asked as she inspected it.
"This is your dads last project. It's a wearable time machine that is only coded to your genetics." Spitfire said. After about thirty minutes of getting the suit on and listening to the instructions there was a loud boom outside the doors followed by screaming. "He's here you need to go now Song!" Spitfire yelled as more screamed.
"I can't mom." Song tried to say as more booming sounded.
"Fine but I will change the world I promise." Green Song said as she started crying her eyes out. "Take me to the Monday after we found out about Grimstone." Song yelled as the machine flashed and was gone. However, before she disappeared completely the last thing she saw was Dark Nights bursting through the door as she vanished.
Ugh where am I? Future Green Song thought as she laid in a tree outside of her old school.
BRING!!!! The school bell rang letting out the students inside and sure enough there they came. The Green Song of the past and.... Nights.
Suddenly Future Song realized they were walking straight towards her. she frantically pushed the cloaking button on her suit.
"Did you hear that?" Nights said as he passed under the tree.
"No what did you hear?" Song asked.
"I don't know hold on let me ask Crimson what were having for dinner." Nights said as he looked over at his shoulder in Future Song's direction.
After a short 15 minute walk to the house they finally arrived with their unwelcomed companion shortly behind them Nights stopped and turned around on the dime.
" I know you're there so show yourself or else." Nights yelled but there was no answer. "Suit yourself."
As the final word left his mouth Future Song was tackled to the ground by Grimstone.
"You know it isn't nice to follow kids home like this." He said as he hit the intruder in the head one solid quick time knocking her out.
"Ugh where am I?" Future Song asked as she awoke tied to a chair still in her suit. She tried to look around but only saw one thing gray mist. "I'm the one who will be asking questions." A familiar voice said behind her. She turned around to see the one she had missed the most her father.
She then fell silent.
"So what do you want with my family?" Crimson asked.
She didn't reply.
"Answer me now damnit or I will lose my temper and let the other guy take over." Crimson said as he raised his voice to assert himself. Still no answer.
"That's it I've had enough of this little act it's time to take off the mask and see the cast for today." Crimson yelled as he let his anger get the better of him as he grasped the helmet and yanked it off her head.
As soon as she felt the cold metallic embrace of the helmet disappear she looked straight down and her hair turned black. "Look up at me." Crimson ordered.
No answer except for a low whimpering sound.
"Look up at me now!!" Crimson growled as he grew tired of this game.
No reply except the whimpering grew louder and she began to sniffle.
"That's it I am tired of your shit! If you won't look at me willingly then I will make you look at me!" Crimson roared with anger as he grabbed her chin and began to lift her head up.
As he did this his hands began to get wet with tears that streamed out of her eyes.
"Time to see who you really are you-" Before he could finish the sentence her hair turned back to the original shade of lime green and he saw her face.
By this time the loud whimpering became full fledged sobbing as the steady streams of tears that flowed down her cheeks became waterfalls.
"Green Song?! But how is this possible you look older and I just saw you in your room." Crimson said as he released his grip and she fell to her knees.
"I am Green Song but I'm from the future dad we have to deal with-" She was suddenly interrupted by one of Crimsons well known hugs.
"Why didn't you say who you were honey?" Crimson asked.
"Because I didn't want you to find out this way. We need to talk about Nights now." Future Song pleaded as the mist around them dissipated in a bright flash.
"What in the world?" Spitfire said as she saw Future Song sitting in the chair.
"Do I have a older identical twin sister Dad?" Green Song said ecstatically.
"Uh what is happening?" Nights said in a concerned tone.
"Later but tonight there is a change of plans on the menu for dinner. We're having her... I mean Songs....Oh sweet Celestia these paradox's are confusing." Crimson said as his eyes essentially spun between both Songs." We're having Chicken Alfreddo and garlic bread for dinner!" Crimson finally let out.
Everyone started to giggle as he made a fool of himself for his family as usual.
"Come with me future daughter of mine I got some clothes that should fit you and you young lady are taking a bath." Spitfire said as her motherly instincts kicked in.
"Yes ma'am." Future Song complied as the memories of her mother in the future flooded her mind. Whatever happens I will protect them all. She thought to herself.

"Let's hope this works." Spitfire said as Dark busted through the door entering the room holding Red Wolf by the neck." She's gone Dark."
"I can tell." Dark said as he threw Red Wolf against the wall.
"Ugh." Red Wolf groaned.
"Why are you here?" Spitfire asked as Dark approached her." If you're looking for Green Song, like I said, she's gone."
"Then where is she?" Dark said as Spitfire backed up." or in this case, when is she?" Spitfire then drained of all color." I know she time traveled, I sensed it."
"You'll never find her." Spitfire said as Dark formed as dark purple ball of energy." Even I know you can't time travel."
"True." Dark said smiling as he launched the ball of energy at her, hitting her in the chest." But I have my ways." he said as he looked at the platform where Green Song disappeared." Knowing Crimson, he probably made a time machine of some sort." he said as he stood on the platform.
"He did." Spitfire said wheezing as she leaned up against a control panel." He built two of them, one for Green Song and one to get rid of you!" she yelled as she slammed the black button." Give Hank my regards." Spitfire said before falling over.
"YOU BLASTED SON OF-----." Dark was cut off as a bright light engulfed him.

"A BITCH!!!!!" Dark yelled as the light disappeared.
" You okay?" A girl with rainbow asked as Dark looked around breathing heavily." Sir?"
"I'm fine." Dark said as he turned around." and your are?"

After a long night and a lot of coffee Crimson and Future Song finally went to bed around two in the morning. The next day was a Saturday that was filled with chores and the occasional break. At 7 o'clock we decided to call it a day and head to the Cakes Family restaurant for dinner. However, before we could leave a suspicious knock came to the door.
"Who is it?" Crimson asked curiously as he put his ear to the door.
"It's the one and only!" The suspicious voice proclaimed.
"Is it her?!" Green Song said as she ran down the stairs with her hair still wrapped in a towel.
"Yep." Crimson said as he flung the door open. Then a blue blur suddenly dashed in the door kicking a soccer ball around.
"Here comes Rainbow Dash running down center lane the goal is left empty without the goal keep in sight." Rainbow Dash screamed as she cocked her leg back getting ready to give her kick all she had." She shoots and she...."
"Oh no the goalie appeared out of nowhere and Rainbow's shot gets deflected." Crimson Beat yelled as he suddenly appeared in front of the ball that was barreling down the hall towards the closet.
"No fair you can't use your speed against me." Rainbow screamed.
"Just because I taught you how to become faster doesn't mean that I told you everything." Crimson said as he bounced the ball on his foot then passed it Rainbow who caught it in her hands." And I thought I told you no ball in the house."
"You were always no fun." Rainbow said as she frowned.
"Am I missing something?" I said questioningly.
"Well we never told you but Rainbow is actually my younger sister." Crimson said as Green Song ran up and gave her a hug.
"Hey Dash you came at a good time." Spitfire said as she came down the stairs in a midnight blue dress with tiny white stars on it. With future Song behind her wearing a black and red dress.
"Hey Spit what's up, and who is that?" Rainbow said as she saw future Song.
"Uh my name is Dream Drop." Future Song said.
"Nice to meet you so anyway I'm starving let's go get some food." Rainbow Dash said.
After a thirty minute drive we finally got to the restaurant and got our seats. Then we ordered our meals Green Song of course got the Chicken Alfredo and Dream Drop got a Chef Salad. So we waited and got our meals after a forty minute wait. After we finished chowing down we decided to let things settle and get desert so we waited and decided to talk.
"Well today was really interesting for me. How about you bro?" Rainbow Dash said as she used a toothpick to clean her teeth.
"Today we just worked around the house but last night was really interesting." Crimson Beat said.
"Really how so?" Rainbow prodded.
"Well Dream Drop is one of Song's old friends from out of town and she asked if she could come stay a week so her parents brought her down and she got here really late last night so we're just recuperating ourselves." Crimson said.
"I have a question though for you Nights." Rainbow Dash said.
"What is it?" I asked.
"Didn't I run into you today?" She asked.
"No I was home all day." I replied.
"Wait I have a question. Were his eyes black?" Dream Drop asked as she firmly put down her cup onto the table.
"Yea he did actually how did you know?" Rainbow asked in a questioning manner.
Dream Drop didn't even answer after the last word left Rainbow's mouth all you could hear was the sound of the glass cup still firmly grasped in her hands shatter. Then her hands started bleeding profusely followed by her storming out in a vigorous fashion.
"What was that about?" Rainbow asked as Crimson ran after her.

So she's here as well Dark thought to himself as he stood on a roof just outside the restaurant as Future Song ran out." Perfect." He said as he leaned forward getting ready to pounce on her like a lion just before Crimson followed after her." Things just became complicated." He said as they stopped and began talking.
"He's here, isn't he?" Crimson asked as Song held her hand. She nodded." Can we stop him?"
"We've tried for the past ten years." Song said sadly as Dark teleported to a roof above them." We've tried everything we could do to stop him, the only one that managed to even hurt him was you, but...." Song said as she looked away." Some of the survivors started calling him the new God of Destruction."
Kinda has a ring to it Dark thought as he knelled down and listened.
"Then how did you find him?" Crimson asked.
"If he was nearby, there'd either be a bad storm or the temperature would drop." Song said sadly." It was his way of letting us know that he was coming for us." "Is that it?" Crimson asked concerned as a breeze picked up.
"If it got colder, we would hear a whistling." She said as a peculiar sound filled the air." He's here." she said as she looked around in panic." We need to get out of here, before he..."
"Before I what?" Dark asked as he appeared behind her, causing her to yelp as he wrapped his arm around her neck.
"So your Dark?" Crimson asked as Dark smirked.
"Indeed." Dark said as Song tried stepped away." Don't try anything funny."
"How did you get here?" Crimson asked as Dark kept a firm grip on her neck.
"As much I hate you humans, there's a few I respect." Dark said as he finally looked at Crimson." The one that sent me here is one of them." He said as Song looked at him surprised." She actually tricked me with one of your devices."
"Mom tricked you?" Song said as dark looked at her." So she's alive?"
"Never had the chance to kill her." Dark said with anger as he formed a ball of energy in his hand." Now, to finish what I...." (WHACK)(THUD)
"You alright?" I asked as I stood over Dark, holding a pipe." What?" I asked as they looked at me surprised.
"How?" Song managed to say as she looked at Dark." You just knocked out Dark."
"I don't know." I said as I just shrugged.
"Never mind that." Crimson said." Lets get back, Hank needs to know about this." ---The restaurant---
"Thank goodness you're alright." Spitfire said as we returned." What happened?"
"Just remembered someone who hurt me a few years ago." Future Song said as they say down." I'm fine now."
"Is it this Dark guy?" Rainbow asked as Future Song looked at her shocked." Nights told us before he left to find you."
"Yes." Future song said as Crimson glanced at me.
"So he's here?" Spitfire asked worried." Where is he know?"
"Lying unconscious on the ground in an ally." Crimson said pointing to me," Thanks to him."
"I honestly don't know what happened." I said as they looked at me surprised.
"It think we might need to see Hank again." Spitfire said as our food arrived.
" Someone please explain what's going on?" Rainbow asked." and who exactly this Dark guy is, because I'm still not getting it."
"Dark is me form the future." I said as Rainbow nodded." Who happens to be evil, get it."
"A little." Rainbow said as I groaned, and both Songs snickered." So what are you exactly?"
"I'm what you call an Anneirian." I said as Rainbow still looked at me confused." I'm from another world."
"Like my friend Sunset Shimmer?" she said before covering her mouth.
"What?" I asked shocked.
"She's going to kill me for this." Rainbow said sighing." She's from a place called Equestria, heard of it?"
"Equestria is one of Annieria's neighboring nations." I said as I poked at my food." We never got along with Equestrians."
"Why's that?" Rainbow asked.
"They wanted something called an Ancient Stone and my father said no." I said shrugging." Good reason too."
"What was that reason?" Spitfire asked.
"Because if an Ancient Stone fell into the wrong hands it would be utter destruction." I said.
"Who was your dad?" Rainbow asked as I looked at her." You don't have to tell 'em, if you don't want too."
"My was father was high king of Anneiria." I said Rainbow's jaw dropped." yes, I am a prince."

"I travel a lot." Dark said as they left the ally." I'm also looking for an..old..friend."
"Who is it?" Scootaloo asked.
"Her name is Green Song." Dark said.
"I know her." Scootaloo said." She's goes to my school."
"Canterlot High I assume?" Dark said chuckling." I used to go there, well before it was destroyed."
"What do you mean?" Scootaloo asked as Dark smirked." Who are you really?"
"Like I said. my name is Dark." Dark said as Scootaloo started backing away." But, that's not my full name." Dark said forming a ball of energy." My real name is Nights."
"But..." Scootaloo said as she couldn't believe what she just heard.
"I'm from the future kid." Dark said aiming the energy ball at her." Anyone can figure that out." He said chuckling, increasing the energy ball." As much I want to kill you commandant, I won't." he said as Scootaloo sighed with relief." But I want you to send a message to Grimstone."
"Who's Grimstone?" Scootaloo asked as Dark dispersed the energy ball.
"Never mind that, I'll find him myself." Dark said as a jet flew overhead." Airshow you say?"
---airshow--- "Are you sure this is a good idea?" Future Song asked as one of the jets landed." With Dark around, he could attack at any moment."
"Supergirl and Manhunter are keeping an eye out." Crimson said as Manhunter flew over head." We also have Grimstone in case things get out of control."
"True." Future Song said." But did I fail to mention dark can literally snap Manhunter and Supergirl like a twig."
"Has he?" Crimson asked as Future Song nodded." Oh boy."
"CRIMSON!!!!!" Rainbow Dash yelled." I just got a call from Scoots, she said she ran into Dark."
"Is she okay?" Crimson asked.
"She's fine, but she also said Dark is on his way here." Rainbow Dash said with fear in her voice.
"Unless we don't stop him, lots of lives are going to be lost." Crimson said as he looked toward the sky." Any ideas?"
"Hope and pray that he doesn't find us?" Rainbow asked as Crimson sighed." It's a idea isn't it?"
"If only." Song said sighing.
"Any luck?" I asked as I walked over to them. "Everything alright?"
"Scootaloo found Dark."Crimson said as i looked at him confused." She's still alive."
"Who's Scootaloo?" I asked.
"She's the kid with the scooter." Green Song said." Remember?"
"Oh her." I said remembering." She got away?"
"Actually, Dark just talked with her and left." Crimson said shrugging." Even Future Song was confused."
"It's unlike Dark to just let someone live like that." Future Song said concerned." He's planning something."
"Or he's looking for something." I said as Future looked at me surprised." A few days ago you mentioned you took something from Dark's hideout, what was it?"
"I have it with me." she said pulling out a a gold chain with a white glowing rock on it." He has the other one, but I don't know what it is." She said as she handed it to me." Recognize it?"
"It looks familiar." I said as I looked at the rock, I noticed it had what looked like tooth marks and it looked it was broken off of something." It couldn't be."
"What is it?" Crimson asked as my hands began trembling." You okay?"
"How did Dark a hold off this?" I asked looking at Future Song.
"I don't know." Song said shrugging." Why. it just a rock."
"No, it's not." I said pulling the chain off." This is what you call an 'Ancient Stone'."
"What does it do?" Crimson asked.
"Depends on what you use it for." I said as I looked at the stone again." There are only two stones in existence that I know of, the Holel and the Holore."
"What's the difference?"Crimson asked.
"The Holel has the ability to give whomever has it fast regeneration and the ability to adapt to any situation." I said as the Wonderbolts jets flew over head." Also if you kill someone with powers while you have it, you can mimic their powers."
"So that's how Dark got so powerful."Future Song said."He must've had this stone with him every time he attacked."
"At least he didn't use the Holore." I said." He would've had the power to raise an army or...."
"Or what?" Crimson asked." What can the other one do?"
"He could have brought back the sea dragons." I said putting the stone in my pocket."But luckily we have the holore, Which gives me an idea?"
"We need a plan." I said as people cheered." Even if we call any other heroes, we won't stand a chance."
"What if we somehow mananged to get his stone?' Crimson asked.
"That would be suicide." Future Song said." When I got the first one from him, I had at least fifteen others with me."
"Oh...crap." I said as one of jets did a barrel roll." Dark killed superman right?"
"Yeah, why?" Future asked." He copied his powers."
"If my memory serves right, the only way Dark could've done that is if he fused with superman." I said." So if he fused with superman then...."
"He has the same weaknesses." Crimson said catching onto my idea." And if he's killed the other Zod as well, His weakness could be twice as powerful."
"I wish I knew that." Future said face palming." How are we going to get kryptonite?"
"The D.E.O has weapons that use kryptonite." Crimson said as he pulled out a communicator."Say Hank, you wouldn't have a kryptonite blaster on you by any chance?"
---Dark--- "So many mortals." Dark said as he hovered above the air field as a jet flew below him." And the Wonder Bolts are here as well...Good."
"You must be Dark." Manhunter said as he flew up behind Dark." I've heard about you."
"Ah Hank Henshaw, or should I say, Jon jonzz." Dark said facing him."I remember killing you, it was right after I wiped out Gotham and Metropolis."
"You really are a monster." Manhunter said as Dark chuckled." What's so funny?"
"Do you realize, calling me a monster, you're also calling my past self a monster." Dark said smirking." And no, I'm no monster, I'm...."
"A Demon?" Manhunter asked." A full blown freak?"
"The devil." Dark said as he charged Manhunter, but only for Manhunter to pull out a weapon and shoot him in chest causing Dark to stagger." So your finally figured that part out."
"I didn't, Nights did." Manhunter said aiming the gun at him." Now then, surrender now or I will use force."
"Sadly I won't surrender." Dark said as he stretched." Also, thanks for the power up."Dark said as he teleported in front of manhunter and kicked him towards the ground.

"INCOMING!!!" Green Song yelled as Manhunter crashed into the ground." I'm guessing Dark is at full power now?"
"Yep." Future Song said as Dark began descending." Here he comes."
"The Kryptonite didn't work." Manhunter said as he crawled out of the crater." Only made him stronger."
"Any other ideas?" Crimson asked as Dark landed a few yards from them." No?"
"We meet again, guardian." Dark said as Future Song backed up." We need to really stop meeting like this."
"Agreed, TAKE THIS!!!" Future said as she charged energy blasted and threw it at him, which Dark caught." I should've saw that coming."
"Indeed." Dark said as he crushed the energy ball." It sad really, no one on earth could stop me, and yet you keep trying, you should just accept your fate, but first, return what you have stolen from me."
"You mean this?" I asked as pulled out the Holore.
"Yes that." Dark said facing me." Now, just hand it over and..."
"How about you stand down or I'll sing the song." I said as Dark gave me a nervous look." I know this stone is infused with the blood of a sea dragon, question is, which one?"
"Sadly I never have the chance to find out." Dark said as he took a step closer." Becuase, I'm already pretty much a god, what use do I have with the Holore?"
"Then you won't mind me using it then?"I asked as I tightened my grip on the stone." What say you?"
"You're bluffing." Dark said angrily." You and I are the same person, I know what you do, and how you feel, so just hand over the stone!" "That's where your wrong." I said as Dark growled." "So Nights fanged himself?" Past Song said as the light died down." So what happens if we call him Nights?"
"Then my name is Nights." A voice said as Dark turned around.

"Simple really." I said as I stood up and looked myself over." Huh, I'm a sea dragon now." I said as I looked at my arms and legs, which were now reptilian looking, and may hands were claws."As I was saying, like you said Dark, names have power, and if I'm told my real name, I remember who I am."
"Not that you idiot." Dark said as people began leaving." HOW DID YOU FUSE WITH YURGEN!?!?!?"
"It was fused with his blood." I said as I took off my jacket so I could unfold my wings." If you're wondering how I know that Dark, it because I was there with father when he made a deal with Yurgen."
"I'm still going to defeat you." Dark said as he began charging his power." even if you fused with a dragon."

"Because Nights, Ever heard of The Multiverse Theory." Dark said Future Song gasped." I assume you know?"
"How?" I asked as Dark smirked." How do you travel dimensions?"
"Simple, really, being a Deadra and all." Dark said as eyes turned yellow." But not any Deadra, a prince." He said as he summoned an axe out of thin air." Back in my world, I was banished by my worlds Nights and his guardians, you and eight others. I'm surprised you were even able to use a and elder scroll to do so."
"A what?" I asked as Dark look at me." What's an elder scroll?"
"They must not exist here then." Dark said as he laughed." Without them, you cannot defeat me."
"I can try." I said as I tried flapping my wings." Still getting used to these."
"You can't try." Dark said as he smirked as I looked at him blankly." Because you can only stay in that form for so long."

"Think you can get the machine up and running?" Future Spitfire asked as she wrapped up some wires and wound them on her arm." Red?"
"I can try." Red Wolf said as he knelt down and examined the machine."It may be tricky though, it took some damaged when you sent Dark back, but I'll see what I can do."
"Thank you." Spitfire said as Red nodded and grabbed some tools." Should we inform the other Strongholds about Dark?"
"I'll leave that to you." Red said as he worked away." But if you want my opinion, yes."
"I'll be back soon then." Spitfire said as she picked up a gun and left." Just to be safe."

"Never realized how bad the it looked." Spitfire said as she walked through the ruins of the city." I wish I could've stopped it at least." Spitfire said aloud as she crossed her arms and sniffed." I should've been there for him when he needed me."

"Then asked me anything that only Nights would know?" The man asked as he stuffed his hands into his pockets." and as for a threat, it didn't mean anything."
"How did you arrive on earth before Dark?" Spitfire asked as she kept her gun on the man."I've never told anyone, not even Crimson."
"A portal malfunction, it happened when I was four on the 25th of August." The man spoke as Spitfire lowered her weapon." You lost a friend that day, Doc, if I remember correctly."
"It's you." Spitfire said she dropped her gun." Where have you been all these years Nights?"
"Hiding." Future Nights said shamefully." I've tried to stop Dark on many occasions, but no luck, until now." Nights said as Spitfire looked at him confused."Dark isn't from our world, in fact, he's not from our dimension."
"He doesn't exist here?" Spitfire asked as Nights nodded." Then, Where is he from?"
"I don't know, But his name isn't Dark." Night said." His real name is Dagon, and he's a deity, a demon god if you will."
"Oh no." Spitfire said with worry." Listen, Do you know how to fix a time machine?"
"Believe or not yes, Crimson taught me a few things." Nights said as Spitfire sighed sadly." He's gone, isn't he?"
"And so will Green Song if we can't get you to the past." Spitfire said as she pointed towards the hideout." Follow me."

"WHY IS THIS SO COMPLICATED!?!?!?" Red wolf shouted as he kicked the machine in rage." I've fixed a few of Crimson devices, but is this so different?"
"Red, I have news." Spitfire said as she entered the room.
"Better be good." Red said as he leaned against the machine." Goodness knows I need it."
"Good and bad." Spitfire said as Red Wolf rolled his eyes." I found someone who can fix the machine."
"And the bad news." Red sighed annoyed.
"Dark is from another dimension." Spitfire said bluntly as Red Wolf looked at her surprised." Yes, it's true."
"Then where's our Nights then?" Red asked worried.
"Right here." Nights said as he approached them." Long time no see Red."
"What? I...I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS!!!!!" Red Wolf shouted as he shook Nights.
"Keep him in one piece, he's going to fix the machine." Spitfire said as Red let go off Nights.
"Can you?" Red Wolf asked as Nights examined the machine."I've connected everything, recalibrated all the systems, but it still won't work."
"Have you tried plugging to in?" Nights asked he pointed to a plug that layed next to an outlet." Other than that, everythings fixed."
"No, I didn't." Red said as Spitfire stifled a laugh." Shut up."
"Good luck." Spitfire said as the portal opened." By know, Dark and Green Song are at the airshow, you remember?"
"I remember." Future Nights said as he approached the portal." It was the one where you almost died, if I recall?"
"D@mn birds." Spitfire grumbled as Future Nights jumped through." Be careful."

"I need a medic over here." A police officer said as he kneeled down next to a hurt man." You're going to be okay."
"So, Dark is a future version of Nights?"Pinkie asked as Rainbow nodded." Never would've guessed it."
"They look almost identical." Rainbow said as a peramedic ran past her." By just looking at him, you can just tell he's evil."
"How evil?" Sunset asked as Rainbow shrugged." Evil-Evil or Wipe out all life evil?"
"Both." Rainbow said as a portal opened behind her." Not again." She said as Future Nights walked out.
"Which why to the Airfield?" Future Nights said as an explosion shook the ground." Time's running out."
"Just south of here." Rainbow said glaring at him." You're not another Dark are you?"
"No, I'm not." Future Nights said as armor covered his body." Call me Discharge." He said as his face was covered by a helmet with five blue lights." I'm here to take down Dark." He said as he flew toward the airfield.
---Airfield--- "So, He's a deity then." Crimson said as he dove for cover." Did you know Song?"
"No, I didn't." Future Song said as she covered her head as a wave of energy flew over her." If anyone knew, it would've been Discharge."
"Where is this Discharge then?" Crimson asked as Future Song shrugged." Of course."
"He disappeared after his last battle with Dark, which resulted in the fall of Gotham." Future Song said as Dark grabbed her and threw her across the airfield.
"How unfortunate for you." Dark said as he walked over to her as he a pink ball of energy formed in his hand and aimed it at her." At long last, I'll finally be rid of you guardians." He said as he smiled evilly." Then I'll be able to finish what I started with you rebels." He chuckled as Future Song threw a ball of energy at him." Pitiful." He said disappointed as Future Song fell to her knees." Die." He said as he threw the energy ball at her as someone stepped in front of her." YOU!?!?!"
"Long time no see Dark." Said the person as Future Song looked up." You knew I was going to be back."
"You should've remained in hiding Discharge." Dark said scowling." Now I guess I'll make sure you die for once."
"Get out of here." Discharge said as Future Song slowly got up and stared at him." What?"
"Thank you." Future Song said as Discharge nodded as she helped Crimson up." Let's go."
"I've grown stronger since our last fight." Dark boasted as Discharge remained silent." Giving me the silent treatment?"
"You'll pay for what you did to my family." Discharge said with a dark tone as a blade of energy formed in his hand." I'll avenge them, my wife, Children, everyone."
"And yet you don't even bother to avenge your own race." Dark said as Discharge growled in anger and charged him." Bring it."
---Past Nights---
"So that's Discharge?" I asked as I watch Discharge attack Dark, knocking him back." Think he can win?"
"I don't know." Future Song said worried." I've only seen once, and that's it."
"Could he be a guardian like you?" Green Song asked." For all we know, he could be the actual Nights."
"Possibly." Future Song said as Dark drove Discharge into the ground." I don't even know that Nights could still be alive, know that I'm thinking about it, I haven't seen Nights in a very long time."
"Something happen?" I asked as as Future Song bit her lip." Something bad?"
"Just before you left for college, you taught me how to control energy." Future Song said as she leaned against the back of the bleachers." We were few days into training, I got over confident and hurt myself critically." She said as she pulled up her sleeve and revealed a scare." I was rushed to the hospital and the Docters said I was lucky to be alive, Crimson thought it was your fault and you two got into a fight, Sometime after, you just vanished." Future Song said sadly." You were supposed to leave for college that day, so we thought you left, I explained to Crimson what happened and he felt bad, so we tried calling but never got answer."
"But where does Dark come in?" I asked as the ground shook." Those two are going all out."
"After you disappeared, There was reports of villains being killed by an unknown person." She said as she signed." I was recently recruited by the D.E.O at the time so I helped out with the investigation, it took us weeks just to find this guy, until one day we got a report that there was some thing going on in jump city, the teen titans said they could check it out, but it lead to there down fall." "They died?" Green Song asked as Future Song nodded.
"When we heard that the titans had fallen me and Manhunter where going to check it out, but before we got there, a bright light filled the sky, and jump city was no more." Future song said sadly as stared at a light." There were no survivors, This is when we realized that this person was a true threat to earth, we called in every hero we could think of so we could stop this guy, but, it began something that we could not stop."
"How did you find out who it was?" Crimson asked.
"The college that excepted Nights happened to be a univesity in metropolis, so we decided to visit, but when we arrived, we were told that he never arrived and that they couldn't get in contact with him." Future Song said as a tear rolled down her cheek." We were just about to leave when we were told to stay inside because of an attack on the city, there happened to be a tv there so we watched the news, Superman was Fighting Dark." Future Song sadly said as she looked down." The fight went on for hours on end, but it only lead to supermans death, People began to panic, once Earth's figure of hope had fallen, We were then told to evacuate, but as we left the college, It was happening right in front of us, killing everyone who didn't get out, It was then I saw Dark for the first time."
"Must've been hard." I said as Future Song nodded." So you pretty much lost everything, I can relate to that part."
---Discharge---
"I'll admit, you're much stronger then before." Dark said as Discharged glare at him through his broken mask."I'll actually miss you when your dead."
"I don't plan on dying today." Discharge said in anger as his visible eye turned bright blue and sparks surrounded him." I'll show the reason I'm called discharge." He said said as he swung his arm downwards and wave of blue engry came out of it." GO BACK TO HELL!!!!" He yelled as the wave hit dark sending him to the ground.
"H-how?" Dark asked in rage as he stood up." HOW?!?!"
"Because I finally found your weakness." Discharged said as he walked over to Dark." That wave I hit you with, gave you power, too much in fact."
"Oh no." Dark said in fear as Discharge raised his hand as sparks covered it." So...this it then, I've been beaten by a peasant like yourself Discharge."
"If anyone's a peasant, it's you Dark." Discharge said as Dark looked away." I would know, because I'm a king."
"I know." Dark said as Discharge placed his hand on Dark's shoulder, causing him to yell in pain as he turned to dust.
"He's gone?" Future Song asked as she came out of cover followed by Crimson and myself." You did it?"
"I did." Discharge said as he clenched his fist." Thanks for softening him up for me."
"He wiped the floor with us." Crimson said as Discharge turned around." Your mask's broken."
"I know Crimson." Discharge said as Crimson looked at him confused." We've known each other for a long time."
"You did?" Future Song asked as Discharge nodded." How?"
"Because, he was like a big brother to me." Discharge said as he took of his helmet." Until he tried to kill me."
"Nights?" Future Song asked as he smiled.
"This is just a mind-f@ck, isn't it." Crimson said as my jaw dropped.
"Where were you?" Future Song asked as Future Nights smiled.
"A story for another time." He said as Future Song pouted." I promise, for know we need to head back, Mom's worried."
"Until we meet again?" I asked as Future Song nodded.
"By dad." Future Song said as she hugged Crimson." I'll miss you."
" I'll miss you too honey and if you ever have some jerk like that bully you let me know and I'll be there in an instant as soon as I finish my time machine. I don't care about paradoxes when my little girl's in trouble." Crimson said as he tried to hold back tears." Good luck rebuilding everything!"
"Thanks." Future Nights said as he stepped through the portal follow by Future Song.
